- 0:19and Scott Moskowitz. Hey, welcome back to No
- 0:27ID, Idaho's mainstream media deconstruction.
- 0:32I'm Scott. Hello internet, I'm Paul. It's beautiful
- 0:36day Scott here. We are yet again. I love the
- 0:39rain. It's raining things green My house is cold.
- 0:43It's been cold all year We stopped building fires
- 0:48like two months ago because it was supposed to
- 0:49be summer and it and I guess technically it's
- 0:52summer But it hasn't felt like summer, but it
- 0:55is beautiful. I love the rain too, and I'm assuming
- 0:58you do the The dad thing with your kids where
- 1:02they're like dad. It's cold you say put on a
- 1:04sweater You know I used to now it now that I'm
- 1:10getting a little older. It's like man. I'm cold
- 1:12and my kids are like We're not put on a sweater
- 1:17dad Yeah, pretty much or it depends on how frisky
- 1:22either us is feeling and sometimes I'll just
- 1:24say no you go make a fire go make a fire Silas
- 1:26build a fire in the wood stove I want a fire.
- 1:30I so look forward to the day where my kid the
- 1:34The X axis gets crossed and it goes from me doing
- 1:38everything for her to suddenly there will come
- 1:40a day when she can just do something for me.
- 1:43What a life. Oh, yeah. Yeah, those are the moments
- 1:47when you're like, oh, man, worth it. And they're
- 1:51out there helping me stack wood or, you know,
- 1:54this year, I'm going to have Silas learn how
- 1:56to mow the lawn. It's going to be great. Beautiful.
- 2:00So it really is. It's a small window of time
- 2:02because by well. I mean, I don't know, from the
- 2:04time they were like six or seven, we started
- 2:06finding things for them to do. We have taken
- 2:09the approach that kids should be engaged and
- 2:12useful, and we're a team. We are a family and
- 2:15a team. The world does not revolve around the
- 2:18children. The world revolves around the family.
- 2:22We all pitch in. We all have our roles. I can't
- 2:25abide by families that cater to their kids or
- 2:28do everything for their kids. And then usually
- 2:30those are the family, not always, but oftentimes
- 2:33those are the families that also send their kids
- 2:34to public school. And so they do everything for
- 2:37their kids. Then they aren't engaged or involved
- 2:40in their kids' lives. And then they wonder why
- 2:41their kids aren't very bright and don't know
- 2:43how to work very hard and don't really like their
- 2:46parents very much. Well more about of media deconstruction
- 2:51for this week you're on episode number 35 and
- 2:53I'm looking I'm like mmm kids mmm public school
- 2:58Slave labor for your farm that you make yourself
- 3:01Let's see It's gonna be the closest that let's
- 3:06we can do you know Well, you know what the answer
- 3:07is for the leftists whose heads explode when
- 3:10we say things like that. The answer is just just
- 3:13kill your baby Just abort them way better to
- 3:17be dead than to be alive and possibly poor or
- 3:21alive and possibly have to do chores without
- 3:23getting an allowance. This is from I actually
- 3:28this is not I don't have audio for this. I sent
- 3:31you a screenshot from it and I couldn't find
- 3:33any of the networks that covered this site. It
- 3:35was only as far as I could tell the Coeur d 'Alene
- 3:37press for good reason because it was I can't
- 3:42imagine a less newsworthy event. This a Coeur
- 3:46d 'Alene Press article from just a couple days
- 3:48ago from over the weekend, Women March for Reproductive
- 3:52Freedom. That's the headline in the Coeur d 'Alene
- 3:55Press. And then it was about the Women's March.
- 3:58There seemed to be, I don't know, every other
- 4:00weekend there seems to be one of these things.
- 4:02But the opening sentence from this article, the
- 4:05Kootenay County Women's March on Saturday morning
- 4:08saw close to 40 women and men Carrying signs
- 4:12expressing their viewpoints that a woman should
- 4:13be able to defend and expand her ability to make
- 4:16personal and medical decisions That's the opening
- 4:18line. It's not an opinion piece. This is how
- 4:20the Coeur d 'Alene press reports this so close
- 4:23to 40 meaning in other words not even 40 This
- 4:29is how you know like when right Scott we always
- 4:33talk about this once you once you see it You
- 4:35can't unsee it and this is how you know the way
- 4:37the mainstream media Behaves and operates and
- 4:40swings and it's ridiculously overt had it been
- 4:44a group of conservatives marching for the Constitution
- 4:48or marching for or marching for the right to
- 4:50life basically like let's not kill our children
- 4:53then it would read something like a Group of
- 4:57left less than 45. Yes far right tiny group religious
- 5:02people tiny group of Saturday morning of far
- 5:06-right religious wackos Less than 50 of them
- 5:10were marching to deny women the right to choose
- 5:14their own health care and what's even more crazy
- 5:16about this is like if you if I was an alien or
- 5:18you know if an alien were to drop down on planet
- 5:21Earth and and into Coeur d 'Alene, Idaho for
- 5:24this headline the alien would be forgiven for
- 5:26thinking oh women just want access to immunizations
- 5:31or the right vaccines or they want to be able
- 5:33to So that means, okay, so I guess that means,
- 5:35you know, they're marching for medical choice
- 5:38or for healthcare rights. It's like, oh. How
- 5:40noble. Can women not go to the doctor? I didn't
- 5:43know women couldn't make an appointment for themselves
- 5:45and their OBGYN to check on their health. Wow,
- 5:47yeah, no, I'd march for that too. Women need
- 5:49to march. Women should get to go to the doctor.
- 5:51That's what it insinuates. But any of us who
- 5:53know any better at all, because it's so obvious
- 5:56once you know, it's like any time there's a women's
- 5:59rights, anything, and any time... Women's right
- 6:02to choose their health care or any other way
- 6:06you can arrange those words is mentioned You
- 6:08know what they're talking about. I don't want
- 6:10to have to deal with the consequences of my behavior
- 6:14Typical mainstream media coverage of this sort
- 6:17of garbage which to even choose to cover it in
- 6:19the first place the head the photo as well the
- 6:24the huge photo at the top of this article is
- 6:27also illuminating because once again the headline
- 6:30is Women march for reproductive freedom. And
- 6:35the photo shows a dude. So it's not women that
- 6:39are marching for this because you know how many
- 6:41women disagree with your guys' premise? Like
- 6:43it's it's it's it's political. It has nothing
- 6:46to do with women. But of course, because they
- 6:48frame it that way, that's But that's but it's
- 6:51great. They can't speak for all women. It's women.
- 6:54They can't escape their own baloney So not only
- 6:56I don't know if you actually looked at the article
- 6:58because interestingly enough the screenshot From
- 7:01I whatever post it was it just included the chick
- 7:04with the bullhorn in the resist t -shirt Who's
- 7:08like sort of leading the march and then directly
- 7:10behind her? There's the two people and they're
- 7:12like holding up a banner like one person on one
- 7:14side another person on the other holding up A
- 7:16banner and on one side sure. Yeah, it's a dude
- 7:18Then on the other side you almost can't tell
- 7:21because the the chick is masked up Mm -hmm. Uh
- 7:27-huh Kind of tells you everything you need to
- 7:29know. So she's really women women's autonomy
- 7:32and freedom and she's hiding her face Yeah, yeah.
- 7:37Yeah. Well, the only I mean she could have got
- 7:38it She should have gone a step further and put
- 7:40on a red robe and a bonnet and just you know
- 7:44hid every part of her self Because isn't that
- 7:48the fashion these days? It's the Handmaid's Tale
- 7:51thing. Modern feminism says that everything I
- 7:55don't like is the Handmaid's Tale. I will include
- 7:59this photo because it's phenomenal. I will include
- 8:02this in the next newsletter, which by the way
- 8:05comes out every, usually Friday morning. Once
- 8:09a week I send out a pithy newsletter that just
- 8:13kind of covers the topics of that week's show.
- 8:15Pithy and amazing. I read it. I love it. It makes
- 8:17me laugh every time. Well, it's good stuff. And
- 8:20I'm not saying that just because I'm a part of
- 8:21this. I genuinely enjoy those emails. They crack
- 8:23me up. I'm glad to hear that. You know, half
- 8:25the time I send you a picture or a text. I'm
- 8:27like, that was hilarious. Nicely done, Scott.
- 8:29Thank you. I'll include this photo in the next
- 8:31one. And if you'd like to get the newsletter,
- 8:33it's all available at noidshow .com. There's
- 8:35just a little widget where you can plug in your
- 8:38email. and get added to the newsletter list.
- 8:41So please do if you would like to receive that.
- 8:43And now let's move on here to something I actually
- 8:46have some audio for. You'll never guess what
- 8:49a North Idaho City wants from its residents and
- 8:53its visitors. You'll never ever guess. Oh, wait.
- 8:56I know. I know what this is. Money. I mean. If
- 9:04you live in Sandpoint or are planning a visit,
- 9:06you'll see some changes to the city's parking
- 9:07soon. Starting July 1st, you'll need to pay to
- 9:10park in certain areas of the city. And once you
- 9:12check in at a kiosk, you'll get two hours of
- 9:15parking for free. After that, it'll be $4 an
- 9:18hour. The city says it'll make it easier for
- 9:20people to find a parking spot by decreasing the
- 9:22amount of time that people stay parked, and it'll
- 9:25boost the city's revenue. But business owners
- 9:28are worried that this new rule will make things
- 9:30harder for them. What we don't want is to have
- 9:34people be discouraged to come into downtown because
- 9:38I get penalized If something goes wrong Now people
- 9:42who live in Sandpoint or Bonner County can buy
- 9:44an annual parking permit to avoid fees It costs
- 9:47$20 if you live in the city or 35 if you live
- 9:50in the whole county And if you're down there
- 9:52pretty frequently 20 bucks, it sounds like kind
- 9:54of a good I love that part. So thanks So thanks
- 9:56mainstream media for justifying this for us.
- 9:59Yeah, no, it's just what they do. It's totally
- 10:01Yeah, no, don't worry about all the other stuff
- 10:03you pay for this. It's just it's just another
- 10:0520 or 35 dollars That's okay small you great
- 10:08leaves stop complaining pay pay us your money
- 10:11kind of a good turn I did like listen up listen
- 10:16to this part again here. Hold on People who live
- 10:18in Sandpoint or Bonner County can buy an annual
- 10:20parking permit to avoid fees it cost so you can
- 10:23pay a fee to avoid fees Now there are some interesting
- 10:30parts of this that, of course, the mainstream
- 10:31media not being journalists didn't cover or address
- 10:35at all. And you know who did is our mirror image,
- 10:41Paul and Scott, but the Herndon's. Scott Herndon,
- 10:44from a post that he made with regard to this,
- 10:47I thought hits on some interesting points. It
- 10:49was a good post. So I plugged some sections of
- 10:51it into 11 labs and you can hear some of the
- 10:56points that he made. I think it's worth playing.
- 10:58Where I get skeptical and I think many of you
- 11:01do too And but just let me to say the first part
- 11:03of this post was him saying like well He's trying
- 11:05to give the city some credit and well I can understand
- 11:08this and that that makes some sense and then
- 11:10the second part of it was the skepticism Where
- 11:13I get skeptical and I think many of you do too
- 11:16one the juice may not be worth the squeeze To
- 11:19net about thirty four thousand dollars over maintenance.
- 11:21The city is spending two hundred and twenty thousand
- 11:24dollars on kiosks hiring an out -of -state company
- 11:27that takes a cut of every transaction, and standing
- 11:29up enforcement and data collection. That is a
- 11:33lot of machinery. Let me extrapolate on that
- 11:35real quick, Scott. In the first half of the art
- 11:37of the post that Scott made, and it was a great
- 11:40post. It was well thought out. It was accurate.
- 11:42The numbers were there. He did the work. It was
- 11:45a good post. The annual budget. To according
- 11:50to the city their numbers to maintain the five
- 11:53hundred and fifty some odd parking spaces and
- 11:55that the city owns Between five different locations
- 11:58in the downtown area and the outline area the
- 12:02maintenance budget on that is roughly two hundred
- 12:04and twenty some odd thousand dollars They are
- 12:09expecting to bring in roughly two hundred and
- 12:13fifty something sixty something thousand dollars
- 12:15with the new parking scheme so After everything's
- 12:19been paid for supposedly there's about 30 grand
- 12:23left. So that's the 30 34 grand he's talking
- 12:27about that's that would be left when it's all
- 12:29said and done and you've got all the kiosks and
- 12:31you've done all the work and you've done all
- 12:32the stuff There's that little bit of money left
- 12:34over to that, you know We'll promptly get spent
- 12:37and blown on whatever the pet project the city
- 12:39has no doubt, but that's what he's referring
- 12:41to That is a lot of machinery to fund. What is
- 12:45at bottom basic asphalt upkeep to The development
- 12:49agenda. Funding maintenance is one thing. Using
- 12:53price to engineer how people get around, enable
- 12:55density, and grease new development is another.
- 12:58That part is not conservative governance. It
- 13:01is government nudging behavior and reshaping
- 13:03the town's character through fees. Fund the potholes
- 13:06fine. Price people out of their cars to remake
- 13:09downtown. That is not what most of us up here
- 13:11asked for, and I am skeptical of it. Three, the
- 13:15maintenance question itself. Basic upkeep is
- 13:17something a city should budget for in the first
- 13:19place. If it really was deferred for decades,
- 13:22that is a priorities conversation worth having.
- 13:25Not automatically a reason to build a new fee
- 13:27and data collection system on. And it's not because
- 13:30Sandpoint lacked the money. It's because of how
- 13:32they've spent it over the years. Every like two
- 13:34or three years, Sandpoint City Council has decided
- 13:37to rework the downtown area. Every couple of
- 13:40years, it's like clockwork and it's a running
- 13:42joke. in Sandpoint, where they always reroute
- 13:45a road. They change it from a one way to a two
- 13:47way again. They move some stuff over here. They
- 13:50repave something over here. They bust out a sidewalk
- 13:52over there. They put in a sidewalk over here.
- 13:54Then they put a sidewalk back in where they busted
- 13:56it out two years ago. They change a road that
- 13:59was a one way into a two way. Then five years
- 14:02later, they change it back into a one way. I
- 14:03mean, it is it's retarded. The city of Sandpoint
- 14:06is retarded. It's ridiculous. They always have
- 14:10had the money. They just spend it on other stuff,
- 14:14their pet projects. So Scott makes a great point
- 14:16there. Back to a second point, though. He's again,
- 14:20a great point is what the city of Sandpoint has
- 14:23decided to do is go full tech. Just go ham on
- 14:27it. And so you've got key electric kiosks. You've
- 14:30got everything is electronic. Everything is run
- 14:33by a third party company. You have to basically
- 14:36give them your license plate information and
- 14:39they don't take cash. So you have to pay via
- 14:41card. or ACH or whatever you choose to do. It's
- 14:44probably just card or debit card or credit card.
- 14:47I doubt they'd allow HCH, but you never know.
- 14:50But no cash. So now you're surrendering data
- 14:53to a third party company that you don't want
- 14:56to do. And it requires, and to use Scott's words,
- 14:59all of this machinery that's set up all over
- 15:01the place in town now. Well, that stuff has to
- 15:04be repaired and fixed and maintained too. And
- 15:06I doubt you, I highly, highly, highly doubt the
- 15:09city has accounted for that because they never
- 15:10do. They never do the government never accounts
- 15:13for that kind of stuff when they build the stuff
- 15:15It's like every time they put in a park and they
- 15:17put it to a public boat and they're like, oh
- 15:18it only cost a million dollars But they never
- 15:20talk about the half a million dollars a year
- 15:22cost to maintain the damn thing ever and they
- 15:25don't budget for it either Same thing going on
- 15:28here. You got all this stuff They're setting
- 15:30up for what should be a simple parking scheme,
- 15:34but now they're gonna take our data But they
- 15:37won't take our cash. I think Scott brings that
- 15:39up in the article, too. I don't know if he's
- 15:40got that audio here or not. Okay, then I'll stop.
- 15:44Yeah. Sandpoint's going to be a 15 -minute city.
- 15:49Not automatically. Well, they already have the
- 15:51signs. They're like, Sandpoint's a walking city.
- 15:54The mayor of Sandpoint is going to make a presentation
- 15:57at the World Economic Forum about how wonderfully
- 16:00techy our new 15 -minute North Idaho city is.
- 16:03See you in Davos. Not well, you're munching on
- 16:07your crickets. You can watch the live stream
- 16:10No, they don't munch on the crickets there, dude.
- 16:13That's still filet mignon. It's the rest We munch
- 16:16on where the cricket munchers. Yeah, we're the
- 16:18cricket munchers as I'm saying the king of say
- 16:20I mean the mayor of Sandpoint, please not automatically
- 16:23a new fee and data collection system on top for
- 16:27The part that is just about who we are up here
- 16:30The kiosks are inconvenient and they rub against
- 16:33North Idaho culture. You know, actually, before
- 16:36I continue on with four, it reminded me as you
- 16:39were speaking of the pet projects and the put
- 16:42the sidewalk in, take the sidewalk out, all that
- 16:44stuff. I flashed on a couple, like an older...
- 16:49a very wealthy couple that my buddy Josh used
- 16:52to work for back in the back in the People's
- 16:55Republic in the pre 2020 days and he was sort
- 16:57of like he was like a freelance handyman carpenter
- 17:00etc etc and he basically just worked for this
- 17:03one couple for many many years and would just
- 17:07be constantly working on their you know their
- 17:10big ass house in like Menlo Park or wherever
- 17:12it was And he's like, oh, what are you working
- 17:15on now? He's like, I'm redoing the powder room
- 17:18on the main floor. And I'm like, I thought you
- 17:22did that like a year ago. And he's like, well,
- 17:25it was like two years ago. And I did. Like, oh,
- 17:27I don't understand. What do you mean? Well, she's
- 17:28redoing it. She's redoing it? Like you just did
- 17:31it two years ago. Yeah. Well, she's going to
- 17:34change it up completely, demo it all out. He
- 17:36did this many times with the kitchen, the bathrooms,
- 17:39the one room after the next. It was like he'd
- 17:42finish one and then just move right on to another
- 17:43one that he'd already done two years earlier.
- 17:45It's like when they would paint the Golden Gate
- 17:46Bridge. Oh, you get to the one side. You're done
- 17:48painting. You just turn right back around and
- 17:50keep painting. It never stops. That's sort of
- 17:52a myth. But that's the thing. When you have they
- 17:55had way, way. I don't see too much money. What
- 17:58does that even mean? That's stupid. But they
- 17:59just had a sort of endless supply of money. He
- 18:02I don't remember the source of his money, but
- 18:03they were very, very wealthy. They had no kids,
- 18:06as I recall. And they just had. nothing to do
- 18:09and an endless amount of money to just do whatever
- 18:12they want. It's like Sandpoint's like a like
- 18:14a municipal version of that. It's like they're
- 18:16bored. The money comes too easily and too frequently.
- 18:20And they're like, hmm, what did Jack hammer up
- 18:22that concrete report last year? No, no, it's
- 18:26a perfect way of describing it. It truly is.
- 18:29The only difference is I have a higher respect
- 18:31and it doesn't bother me at all with the couple
- 18:33doing that. They actually employed somebody and
- 18:36it was it was private. It was with their own
- 18:38money. Yeah. Okay. Do I, is it stupid? Yeah,
- 18:42it's kind of probably stupid, but sure. Have
- 18:45at it. It's your own money. At the City of Sandpoint,
- 18:47they're happy to just keep taking ours. Yes.
- 18:50And they never have enough ever. There's no comparison,
- 18:54of course. You know, I'm just, I just, I flashed
- 18:56on it because it was like, oh, too much money.
- 18:58Oh, a hundred percent. I think it's a good metaphor.
- 19:01Yeah. Not metaphor. Excuse me. I think it's a
- 19:03good comparison. Similar, similar behavior. But
- 19:06yeah, the one hitch in the giddy up being. Whose
- 19:09money's being blown? This is the last part of
- 19:13Scott's post. A parking system that will not
- 19:38take your dollar and runs your playthrough in
- 19:40an out -of -state company is a poor cultural
- 19:43fit here no matter how well it pencils out on
- 19:45a spreadsheet in a planning office. So I thought
- 19:49there was some interesting points about a story
- 19:51that seems sort of salient. It's on the surface.
- 19:54It's like, well, you know, it's expensive to
- 19:57maintain and the city wants to discharge for
- 19:59parking. Well, there's more to it, as always.
- 20:03The city does have costs. Those costs do need
- 20:06to be covered. The mentality there is that we
- 20:09should instead of making property owners pick
- 20:12up the tab like county and city property owners
- 20:14that already pick up the tab for everything else.
- 20:17The idea there was, well, you know, all the folks
- 20:19who come in, especially for the four or five
- 20:22months top of the season times, they should pay
- 20:25for parking and help cover the costs. OK, well,
- 20:28that reasoning makes sense. But coming up with
- 20:32this giant. Technological scheme where now we're
- 20:36given our data to a third -party company You
- 20:38won't take our cash to pay you make the locals
- 20:41pay which by the way like in my mind if the if
- 20:43the true aim of this was to Take the pressure
- 20:48off of local property owners and people who live
- 20:51here And at the same time you've got a system
- 20:54set up where it's gonna take our license plate
- 20:56information Well, then how can you not set it
- 21:00up? then take license plate information if you
- 21:03know if it's gonna have to be that way and the
- 21:04moment you enter in it's it's K or it's 7b Well,
- 21:09then you don't pay anything or if it's a 9b because
- 21:129b is Bonner's or boundary county 7b is Bonner
- 21:17County and K is Cootie County on the license
- 21:19plates Do it that way then we're exempt or at
- 21:22the very least 7b is exempt, right? You're already
- 21:26taking our license plate information. How hard
- 21:28can that be then? to automatically just flag
- 21:30it be like all right you're a resident you don't
- 21:32pay that's funny there's also the part where
- 21:39not funny haha no well there's also the part
- 21:42where like it's there's always like well we need
- 21:47to maintain the the the fill in the blank it's
- 21:49like i know what are you doing with all the money
- 21:52you already get like every time a new thing comes
- 21:54out which is like every minute it seems like
- 21:57they're like well if we don't have this how are
- 21:58we supposed to do that I don't know with all
- 22:00the money you're already getting. Yeah, budget
- 22:04for it. You were supposed to budget for these
- 22:06things with the money you already get. But that's
- 22:09just it. Every city, every county, every state,
- 22:12it's just as soon as it comes in, it's already
- 22:15spent. It's already spent three times over. Well,
- 22:19speaking of. There's a fight going on, though.
- 22:21People are fighting. People are looking for ways
- 22:23to sue right now. You know, the business owners
- 22:26are making, there's a lot of noise being made
- 22:27up here. So I'm seeing it on Facebook. I'm hearing
- 22:30the chatter. There's a lot of people who are
- 22:32like, well, okay, fuck you guys then. We're not,
- 22:36we're not going to go downtown. Most of us don't
- 22:38really need to go downtown most of the time.
- 22:40We really don't. So, okay. And it's being felt.
- 22:46The business owners have actually called the
- 22:48house meeting, house meeting. And there's going
- 22:50to be another council meeting about it because
- 22:53business owners are already noticing the difference.
- 22:56And some people have also said, we're just not
- 22:58going to comply. So there's already been some
- 23:01chatter about how the city is going to enforce
- 23:03this thing if enough people don't comply, because
- 23:06there's that going on. So we'll see. The fight
- 23:08is not over. Don't even know if it's truly begun
- 23:13yet. Oh, I also love, I guess as an aside, what
- 23:18a permit is. Always like to ask people like what's
- 23:23a permit? Well a permit is when the government
- 23:26steals a right from you and Then sells it back
- 23:29to you and that's basically what they just did
- 23:32with the parking. They're like, hey, you've got
- 23:34to pay Well, we'll give you the first two hours
- 23:37free You always had that You had you actually
- 23:42had like six hours free, but uh, don't you worry?
- 23:46We're gonna give two of them back to you It's
- 23:48when people get really excited about their tax
- 23:50refund. Like, oh, so they stole $100 and then
- 23:53they sent you six cents back and you're like,
- 23:55oh, cool, a refund. After hanging on to it as
- 23:59an interest -free loan for a year. Mother of
- 24:03God. So speaking of Scott Herndon and revenue
- 24:06and all of this baloney, here is KTBB covering
- 24:12the Idaho GOP's now official stance backing.
- 24:17The property tax repeal. What? Cities and counties
- 24:21could be a little scared after the Idaho Republic.
- 24:24Republican Party revealed it's she choked on
- 24:27the word Republican after the Idaho Republican
- 24:29Party revealed it's their convention wrapped
- 24:33up this weekend. And that's where the party selects
- 24:36a chairman and other officers. But they also
- 24:39put together a platform which is a series of
- 24:41priorities that can turn into new legislation.
- 24:44And one of the new planks of that platform is
- 24:47to repeal property taxes. Justin core just talked
- 24:51to the party's chairwoman I should say about
- 24:53this Justin It would be a lot of revenue that
- 24:56would be taken away from fire, police departments,
- 24:59you name it. Yeah, absolutely. Yep, yep. The
- 25:04roads and the children. Please don't take our
- 25:07roads. Please don't take our roads. I love it
- 25:12so much. I won't mention the 31 cents of every
- 25:17dollar that goes towards city administrator salaries.
- 25:19Well, let's just talk about it. Your house is
- 25:20on fire. No one's going to show up. It would
- 25:22be a lot of revenue that would be taken away
- 25:24from fire, police departments, you name it. Yeah,
- 25:27you name it. Hunter, you're correct there. But
- 25:29the Republican Party has a plan to replace those
- 25:32taxes. More on that in a second. First, Dorothy
- 25:35Moon won reelection to be the party chair. She
- 25:38says the platform for 2026 will be just like
- 25:41the 2024 platform plus four main planks. Okay.
- 25:46It's a plat. Can you, can you hear the derision
- 25:48in his voice? The utter contempt these people
- 25:52have for anybody who is not them. I'm surprised
- 25:57he rips from their voices. He was able to get
- 25:59the word Republican out without choking on it.
- 26:02So there's public credit for that plus four main
- 26:06planks because it's a platform. Get it. Planks.
- 26:10What? What? Was that guy serious with that joke?
- 26:16Planks. Cause it's a platform, get it? No, I
- 26:18don't understand. Can you explain? Oh, oh, hold
- 26:21on. You stop right there. You stop right there.
- 26:30Fucking boo. No, you get the full boo. Anyway,
- 26:36they added the idea that life begins at fertilization.
- 26:40Moon says that actually would not change much
- 26:42in regards to Idaho's abortion laws. They also
- 26:45added something that would require charter school
- 26:48accreditation from organizations that don't do
- 26:51DEI. Third, they added a plank that would repeal
- 26:54the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and
- 26:57the National Firearms. Yeah, those are federal
- 27:00and finally the one everyone is talking about
- 27:02a repeal of property taxes in Idaho. Moon says.
- 27:06people are hurting right now, especially folks
- 27:08on fixed incomes. They just cannot keep up with
- 27:11increasing property taxes as Idaho grows and
- 27:14their property value goes up. Problem is property
- 27:17taxes are pretty much the only way Idaho cities
- 27:20and counties, not the state, can generate revenue
- 27:23to pay their bills. Things like fire and police
- 27:26services. Moon says, though, they could replace
- 27:29that revenue with more sales tax or taxes on
- 27:33things like a lot more logging and mining. Why
- 27:37aren't we harvesting these this would and with
- 27:39the good neighbor authority that is something
- 27:41that was implemented by the federal government
- 27:43to where states to go in and cruise a section
- 27:46of land and they could go ahead and advertise
- 27:49it auction it off and then the proceeds would
- 27:51go to the counties. So that's a win win. I mean
- 27:54it's great. We're going to reduce the fuel load.
- 27:56We're going to get taxes for whatever the counties
- 27:58need. But I talked to city leaders leaders leaders
- 28:02just a couple weeks ago and they all talked about
- 28:04how property taxes aren't even enough now. to
- 28:07keep up with rising costs for them with all this.
- 28:11Nope, never cutting any sort of revenue like
- 28:14property taxes, even if you want to try to replace
- 28:16it is, as Moon put it earlier, scary. You heard
- 28:20that. But Moon is confident that when they iron
- 28:23out the details in an actual legislation, an
- 28:26actual bill, cities and counties are going to
- 28:29be all right. I'm pretty optimistic that the
- 28:32state we have a lot of very intelligent people
- 28:35a lot of people who have been involved in resource
- 28:37in mining and logging ranching and I think we're
- 28:41gonna have some good stuff come up yeah but again
- 28:43it's gonna take a lot of people to put their
- 28:45heads together because once you have the opposition
- 28:47you need to make sure you address those concerns
- 28:50right away and there surely will be opposition
- 28:53to this Hunter just first time, correct? So they've
- 28:57tried to do something like this. Absolutely.
- 29:00They've talked about it for a bit and actual
- 29:02current house majority leader Jason Monks introduced
- 29:05a bill that would do this back in 2020. Repeal
- 29:09all property taxes would have also increased
- 29:11the sales tax by 5 % to try to replace that money.
- 29:15Didn't even get a hearing, but this session maybe
- 29:18we'll see. We'll keep an eye on it. I was going
- 29:20to say no funding just continues to be one of
- 29:22our biggest topics. Lately. Yeah. Money. How
- 29:26about that? All right, Justin, thank you. Money.
- 29:30Because you're always trying to steal it from
- 29:32us. That's something that Scott Herndon has been
- 29:36hammering. How is it? Thomas Sowell had a great
- 29:41quote, and I'm going to butcher it, but basically
- 29:42like how is it that it is greed for me to want
- 29:46to keep my own money, but it is charity for someone
- 29:50else to want to steal it from me. Also, the tone
- 29:55of voice that these Jerk -offs take just immediately
- 29:58made me think of this again. It's like, oh, you
- 30:00don't want to pay property taxes Is this some
- 30:03sort of peasant joke that I'm too rich to understand?
- 30:08I don't it's like I don't want to let myself
- 30:10believe that in any universe It's possible that
- 30:13something like that could ever could be walked
- 30:15back, you know, like once it's implemented once
- 30:18it's in place How how was can it be undone? I
- 30:22don't know. Well, what do you peg the chances
- 30:24of something like that happening? Like is it
- 30:26less than zero? I want I want to be optimistic.
- 30:32I think that it's going to be one hell of an
- 30:38effort and it's going to involve all kinds of
- 30:40different probably mental and budgetary gymnastics.
- 30:45And that's probably how it's going to go. I love
- 30:53the effort. I want it to happen because property
- 30:56taxes are the second most thing on planet Earth
- 30:59right behind. income taxes. And the reason why
- 31:02it's only just behind income taxes is because
- 31:04income tax is a tax, a literal tax on your time.
- 31:10If you believe in the concept of self ownership,
- 31:12then you own the fruits of your labor and most
- 31:15importantly, you own your time. And you own the
- 31:17fruits of how you use that time in labor. So
- 31:22when they tax the fruits of your labor, it's
- 31:25slavery. That is de facto slavery. It doesn't
- 31:30matter what percentage they're taking, it is
- 31:33a form of slavery. Now, it may be a more polite
- 31:37form of slavery, but it's still backed by force
- 31:40where they kill you, or they kidnap you, throw
- 31:43you in a cage if you don't pay, or they maim
- 31:45you or kill you if you resist. So ultimately,
- 31:50being at a bare minimum kidnapped and at worst
- 31:53killed is the threat there if you don't pay your
- 31:57income taxes. It's de facto slavery. So that's
- 32:00why it's the worst of the worst. But property
- 32:02tax is right behind it because property tax effectively
- 32:04means you never own your home or your land. You
- 32:08are renting it from the government. And that
- 32:11is evil. Well, I don't understand that you can
- 32:15say how you can make this slavery comparison
- 32:17because it's I'm not just stealing your your
- 32:20time and your labor I'm in exchange for it. I'm
- 32:23providing you services like porridge and like
- 32:26room and board and You know, just hold still
- 32:30while I give you the services while I take your
- 32:32labor You know, the best part about that is is
- 32:36that during the summer of love the quote -unquote
- 32:38summer of love in Seattle When they let a bunch
- 32:41of nutballs have a few blocks of Seattle on their
- 32:44own And then they found out that a couple of
- 32:46the slumlords inside of that quarantined area
- 32:49were charging people and issuing permits in order
- 32:52to like conduct business or to go from street
- 32:54to street or to do different things. And they
- 32:55were they were extracting money from people and
- 32:57then providing quote unquote services. And the
- 33:00mainstream media breathlessly reported how horrible
- 33:03it was, completely failing to realize. But that's
- 33:07exactly what the government does to us. It's
- 33:10the same thing. Why I don't they do the exact
- 33:14same thing. I don't want your sir. I don't want
- 33:17your porridge I don't want your room. I don't
- 33:18want your board. I'd like to just leave well.
- 33:20No you can't You can't Furthermore if you try
- 33:24will hurt you well, can I unsubscribe? No, it'll
- 33:27hurt you, huh? Okay, and then and then it's like,
- 33:32okay, well then So I'm gonna try to get as much
- 33:35of my money back as I can or I'm gonna use the
- 33:37shit out of those roads or the hell out of that
- 33:40library that you're making me pay for. And then
- 33:43they'll be like, well, look at you. You complain
- 33:45about taxes, but you sure are happy to use the
- 33:48stuff it provides. And it's like, well, you already
- 33:50stole my money. You gave me no choice. So if
- 33:54I don't use it now, not only have I had my money,
- 33:57I've been mugged, but now I'm also just a terrible
- 34:00consumer as well, because now I'm not even getting,
- 34:03I get zero benefit. Well, you have forced me
- 34:06into this. Well, now I have to try to maximize
- 34:10it. Not only we also, and by the way, we need
- 34:13to pass a new tax for what? Well, to pay for
- 34:15the roads. The things that you were supposed
- 34:18to already have budgeted for, right? Government,
- 34:20I thought. OK, here, I'm going to give you this.
- 34:22I mean, that circles around the whole standpoint
- 34:24issue here. The whole issue with standpoint is
- 34:27we need to we have to maintain these parking
- 34:29spaces that the city owns. But the city already
- 34:31has a budget. Did you guys never budget for that?
- 34:35What is your deal? Oh, I see. So you don't like
- 34:38using parking spaces, Paul. Is that it? I see
- 34:41you using parking spaces, you and your family.
- 34:43What are you complaining about? I use those parking
- 34:45spaces so hard. In fact, I double park. I use
- 34:48two. You know, you should move to Somalia. They
- 34:50don't have parking spaces there. What do you
- 34:52think about that? That's your that's your haven.
- 34:54That's your paradise. Yeah, well, they don't
- 34:57have parking meters either. So check and mate
- 35:00I'm gonna give you a the easiest ask Paul what
- 35:03there ever was Here comes the question big or
- 35:06small make your guess before we call the game
- 35:08begins. It's asked Brought to you by Pfizer The
- 35:13Ketchum City Council is prepared to ask residents
- 35:15to hike taxes later this fall as James Dawson
- 35:18reports the money raised would would what? You'll
- 35:24never guess the money rate. It's the city of
- 35:27Ketchum. Uh -huh Oh man, oh man. The money raised
- 35:32will go towards either road maintenance, parking
- 35:36spot maintenance, since we're just talking about
- 35:37it. Yep. As James Dawson reports, the money raised
- 35:42would maintain the city's streets and sidewalks.
- 35:45Ketchum's original local option tax is set to
- 35:47expire in December 2027. If approved, this proposal
- 35:51would renew it for 15 years, along with adding
- 35:54an additional 15 years lodging and half percent
- 35:58increases to taxes on building materials and
- 36:01retail. Why is housing so expensive? Trip Hutchinson
- 36:04was the council member opposed to the measure.
- 36:08Raising taxes on retail is not the right thing
- 36:12to do. I hold that very, very strongly. He says
- 36:17lodging taxes should instead be increased further
- 36:20to ensure residents aren't getting squeezed even
- 36:23tighter. However, much of the public feedback
- 36:25in recent weeks supports this breakdown compared
- 36:28to a higher lodging tax. Here's Mayor Pete Preckages.
- 36:32I know your point. I appreciate it, but it's
- 36:36just not that big of an ask. Just hold still.
- 36:40It's not that much money. Oh, there it is again.
- 36:41Only two percent. It's only three percent. Why
- 36:45is it only it's always only three percent when
- 36:48they steal it from us, Scott. And the moment
- 36:50we go da da you this year, your budget's down
- 36:54by three percent. And and then people literally
- 36:57die. I mean, these cuts are killing people literally,
- 37:02literally. Don't you hate it when the subjects?
- 37:05I mean, the citizens complain when we ring them
- 37:08further. But it's just not that big of an ask.
- 37:12If approved, the new taxes would raise about
- 37:14two point two million dollars annually. City
- 37:17Council will vote on the proposal in August.
- 37:19Oh, gee, I wonder what's going to happen during
- 37:20that vote. Money. All right. Let's see a couple
- 37:29more here before mid show. Oh, this show. This
- 37:33program here is called No ID. That's my kid,
- 37:38by the way. So this one's really on the nose.
- 37:41for ID. The Idaho DMV is implementing new proof
- 37:45of identity requirements. So starting this Wednesday,
- 37:48July 1st, you will have to present valid government
- 37:50issued ID that has your full legal name, date
- 37:53of birth, and a photograph. So that means certified
- 37:56birth documents cannot be accepted unless you
- 37:59also have a photo ID. You can update your ID
- 38:01on the Idaho DMV website. Unless you are a new
- 38:04customer, then you will have to go in person.
- 38:08A customer. Uh, but I don't wish to patronize
- 38:12your establishment. It's much more polite than
- 38:16tax cows. The way that sounded is, Hey, if you're
- 38:23trying to get an ID, but you don't have an ID,
- 38:26you can't get an ID. You need an ID. That's what
- 38:29I heard. You need an ID to get an ID. Well, what
- 38:34am I supposed to do if I don't have an ID? And
- 38:35birth certificates don't work? No, they don't
- 38:37work. What the hell is the point of a birth certificate
- 38:38then at this? Like that's be pretty awesome though.
- 38:43If they started taking birth pictures, you come
- 38:46out, come out of the womb, picture, put that
- 38:49on the birth certificate, take it in when you're,
- 38:52you know, in your mid 40s to get your, to renew
- 38:54your ID. And they're like, yeah, you got to have
- 38:56one with a picture first before we'll give you
- 38:58another one. And you're like, oh, don't worry,
- 38:59I got my birth certificate here. See, that's
- 39:01me as a baby. Oh, well, in that case, sir, you
- 39:05can have two IDs. Here you go. Here's two, take
- 39:07two. They're small. We need to increase taxes
- 39:10on account of everyone's getting two IDs. We
- 39:14definitely will even though they charge us for
- 39:16all that shit because that's the other stuff
- 39:17I love is when they talk about how you know,
- 39:19we without them Society would collapse and it's
- 39:23our tax dollars that they tax us in every way
- 39:27imaginable that goes towards propping all of
- 39:29that up and yet when we have to go do things
- 39:35like renew our ID that they forced us to do or
- 39:37we can't drive and then if we get caught driving
- 39:39without their permission and they can they kidnap
- 39:41us put us in jail or they maim us or kill us,
- 39:46we still have to pay to get an ID. So they tell
- 39:51us that's what taxes are for. And yet everything
- 39:54you do with the government, when you have to
- 39:56pull a permit, they charge you for it. A lot.
- 40:00Simmer on that. Here's the second part there
- 40:03was a little He threw it after he explained how
- 40:07if you need to get an ID But you don't have an
- 40:09ID you can't get an ID and then here was the
- 40:11second part of this of The very upbeat a female
- 40:14reporter who spoke right after him unless you
- 40:16are a new customer then you will have to go in
- 40:18person Well, take a look at these here Idaho
- 40:21drivers are going to have two new license plate
- 40:23options starting on July 1st You hear she's just
- 40:26speaking through a beaming smile starting on
- 40:27July 1st There's going to be a new agriculture
- 40:30plate with a sunrise farmland and livestock There's
- 40:33also a more minimalist version of a plate. It's
- 40:36just basically simple black and white Our lovely
- 40:39DMV is providing such good customer experience
- 40:44Shut up and take my money. It's all relative
- 40:47though. That is so We live in a simulation. I
- 40:50know we really do. As compared to going into
- 40:52a California DMV, it is better, but conceptually
- 40:56it's just as absurd. This is so dystopian. Even
- 41:00the mainstream media is dystopian as they report
- 41:03this. You must have an ID in order to drive the
- 41:06thing you own and already paid for. In order
- 41:10to drive it on the flat surface that you also
- 41:12already got taxed for. And when you go in, we're
- 41:15going to charge you for this ID. But if you don't
- 41:18have the right kind of ID to get a new ID, you
- 41:20can't get an ID. But hey, there are two new license
- 41:25plate options for you to get. And oh, by the
- 41:28way, they cost more than the regular ones. So
- 41:31when you're in there paying to get your ID renewed
- 41:35that you might not be able to renew if you don't
- 41:36have the right ID to get your new ID. Well, you
- 41:39can also give us more money even more money for
- 41:42these two new license plate options that you
- 41:45have to put on your car or we arrest you throw
- 41:47you in jail and kill you if you resist for the
- 41:50rig you already paid for and registered that
- 41:52we also charged you for that we will hurt you
- 41:54if you resist to drive on the roads that we that
- 41:57we already extracted money from you for and if
- 42:00you don't pay will hurt you if you resist. But
- 42:03hey, this one has a sunrise. It has mountains
- 42:07and butterflies. I mean, my God. Yeah, whatever.
- 42:18Why don't you move to Somalia, you ingrate? No,
- 42:21I live here. I thought this was America. Huh?
- 42:24Isn't this America? I'm sorry, I thought this
- 42:26was America. Our founding fathers are rolling
- 42:29in their graves. Absolutely rolling. They're
- 42:32rolling so hard and so fast we could power the
- 42:34country on it. Let's do one more before mid show,
- 42:41I think. Oh, here's a follow -up. Do you remember
- 42:47the IDAHO Pravda? The staff was striking all
- 42:53of the reporters at the Statesman. Do you remember
- 42:55that? Oh yeah! Oh yeah, yeah. When the communists
- 42:59decided that the upper communists were treating
- 43:01the lower communists really poorly, that never
- 43:04happens in communism. Who could have seen that
- 43:07coming? Here is a follow -up, and I'm sorry,
- 43:11but it's NPR. After a year of negotiation, Idaho
- 43:14Statesmen Union members have made a deal with
- 43:16their owners. McClatchy Media. Oh, I did it too.
- 43:19I beat you to it. Hold on. I think I know you
- 43:22go. You go. You beat me to it by like a second.
- 43:25Let me boost this because my bet is too loud
- 43:28for it. Hold on. Let's go compression. Let's
- 43:31amplify it by like five. OK, let's try it again.
- 43:34After a year of negotiation, Idaho Statesmen
- 43:36Union members have made a deal with their owners.
- 43:39McClatchy Media. Here's Julie Luqueta, Luqueta
- 43:41with their owners, Julie Luqueta with more. In
- 43:44May, the newsroom staff of the Idaho Statesman
- 43:47and four other Washington based newspapers went
- 43:50on a one day strike, condemning what they called
- 43:53unfair wages and the company's use of cold AI
- 43:57slop. On Monday, the Idaho News Guild announced
- 44:00union members had voted to ratify new three -year
- 44:04contracts. We demand the slop be human created.
- 44:09That's local sports reporter and union chair
- 44:11Michael Licklama. Do you catch the name? It's
- 44:16a strange one. Michael Licklama. What did your
- 44:18ancestors do? That's local sports reporter and
- 44:23union chair Michael Licklama. Some of our members
- 44:25are getting an immediate 11 % raise. which just
- 44:29makes a huge difference in anyone's life. The
- 44:31company agreed to ban the use of AI to replace
- 44:33staff or decrease their hours. It also cannot
- 44:37force reporters to use AI, nor can it use the
- 44:40technology to impersonate them. Liklama says
- 44:44those should be bare minimum standards for the
- 44:47industry. It's going to immediately provide job
- 44:49security for our members and protect our members
- 44:51from some of the worst impacts of AI. The new
- 44:53contracts also prohibit mandatory production
- 44:56quotas in performance reviews. McClatchy did
- 44:59not respond to a request for comment by deadline.
- 45:22We don't have to deal with any competition. We
- 45:25don't have to perform at any particular level
- 45:29So basically we are completely insulated from
- 45:32any market forces whatsoever other than the company
- 45:35itself going bankrupt and closing shop Which
- 45:38it will never do because the government will
- 45:41subsidize it if it gets to that point and then
- 45:43it will just become a literal mouthpiece for
- 45:47the government instead of just the mouthpiece
- 45:50that it already is. It will just, it'll be not,
- 45:52it'll be a nationalized news service at that
- 45:54point. We're, I guess, state, state -alized.
- 45:59Yeah. What could go wrong with any of that? I
- 46:04don't know what could go, a lot could go wrong
- 46:07and, but a lot has not gone wrong with the value
- 46:10for value model. That's what this show runs on,
- 46:13which by the way, I have two IDs as a, in the
- 46:16running for show title on the list so far. Yeah.
- 46:20Yep. Value for value is very simple, very simple
- 46:25model. It is simply direct value returned if
- 46:29you find the show valuable. We try to put out
- 46:32a valuable product with this program every week,
- 46:34every Thursday. And if you find it valuable,
- 46:36we ask that you return value to the show. Time,
- 46:39talent, or treasure. Those are the mechanisms.
- 46:42It can all be done at noidshow .com. Time ads
- 46:46are huge and they help shows like this grow,
- 46:49like telling people about the show. is a big
- 46:52value return. Sending in articles or show art
- 46:56or audio or anything like that, or even sending
- 46:59us texts and otherwise giving us feedback about
- 47:01what you're hearing on this program is all value
- 47:03returned in the time and talent category. So
- 47:06please do not be stingy with any of those things.
- 47:09And treasure is, you know, we haven't gone through
- 47:12our list of barter materials recently. So I feel
- 47:16like you should go through some of the things
- 47:17that count as treasure returned in the time.
- 47:19I love barter. Yeah. Oh, man. gold silver ammo
- 47:24favors Take that however, I mean, you know favors
- 47:28of any kind really tobacco alcohol Thank you
- 47:35notes get well cards or you know lawn mowings
- 47:40Or if you want to help the city of sand point
- 47:42out Always take out a sidewalk somewhere and
- 47:45then put it back in for him. But yeah, we love
- 47:48trade barter food Obviously food is kind of important,
- 47:53so that's all, you know, all kinds of stuff.
- 47:55Get creative. I love getting creative. I mentioned
- 47:59a couple shows ago, I think, or maybe three shows
- 48:02ago, that the tool Clipperoni, that a dude named
- 48:07Jeff had made a clip of a segment of the show
- 48:10on the tool that he built, if you recall, and
- 48:13sent it in. And so in the value of the term...
- 48:16Cool program. Super cool. And so he in the in
- 48:19the value returned actually just went to his
- 48:22wedding over the weekend up at Stella's on right
- 48:25on so that was really cool and In the value return
- 48:28category he gave me well, he gave the show I
- 48:31should say like a like an account like a sort
- 48:34of paid account like so it's full access to Use
- 48:37the tool and generate all the AIB role and all
- 48:39these things like that are not free But he provided
- 48:42us that account so we can use the full Span of
- 48:46the tools on Clipperoni and that is big value
- 48:49return that we're able to use that in this guy
- 48:51that he built So thank you very much dude named
- 48:53Jeff very appreciated And so yeah to do anything
- 48:57Jeff. Yes to do any of these things become an
- 49:00executive producer or any form of value returned
- 49:04please go to no ID show calm and there are portals
- 49:07there to do everything with regard to returning
- 49:09value and I'll say thanks in advance and I am
- 49:14pretty much ready for DJ Paul and whatever you've
- 49:16got picked out for this week. Alright, alright,
- 49:18alright. If that isn't just the best love hate
- 54:06song to sing to the government, I don't know
- 54:07what is. It has a very, it has like Bond song
- 54:14vibes. Doesn't it? Smooth. Yeah. But it just,
- 54:20the parking lot thing made me think of this song.
- 54:23So, smoke and mirrors, baby. You take it, you
- 54:25want more. You take it, you want more. Beautiful
- 54:29you need an ID to get an ID to get an ID and
- 54:32you got to pay for it, but There's the smoke
- 54:35and the mirrors are but we got two new license
- 54:37plates for you. You cricket munching plebes No
- 54:43ID bitches Well, good luck, dude cricket munching
- 54:49plebes for a show title by the way writing that
- 54:52down I think it's got legs. I like it them off
- 54:57the cricket. Oh I win. All right, what's on deck?
- 55:08Don't know you tell me man. You're running the
- 55:10show. Oh wait. No, I'm running this part of the
- 55:11show. Haha Yeah, yeah F yeah We're dropping potatoes
- 55:21we're shattering windows we're punching black
- 55:24dudes And filing lawsuits filing lawsuits You
- 55:30get a lawsuit you get a lawsuit You get a lawsuit,
- 55:35but not you though. You're cool All right, speaking
- 55:40of lawsuits that we definitely should have filed
- 55:43You know what? My attorney Dolores blazing game
- 55:47from Riverside, California. She's always ready
- 55:49to sue the next person Is that a real person?
- 55:53That's that's a Phil Hendry reference for executive
- 55:56producer Kevin Killian You're welcome. It's that
- 55:59Steve Bozell's attorney his that's that's Phil
- 56:01Hendry's character is always suing everybody
- 56:05That's like for example like his his son like
- 56:09told got it. He totaled the the Cadillac Escalade
- 56:13and then he told his dad that he tried to drive
- 56:15away After seeing a movie with some friends,
- 56:17but he left the sunshade in and didn't know he
- 56:19was supposed to remove it So Steve and Dolores
- 56:22Blazingame are suing the sunshade manufacturer
- 56:24for not having a warning label that you should
- 56:26remove it before driving And then callers were
- 56:30calling in like mine. Mine has that man. It has
- 56:32it has a warning already Was that before or after
- 56:36you replaced the headlight fluid? All right,
- 56:39hit me. When was the, on a global scale, globally,
- 56:48when was the COVID pandemic officially declared
- 56:53over? When was the public health emergency declaration
- 56:59ended? Maybe is a better way to put it. It was,
- 57:05I believe, 2023. February, 2023, March. Ooh,
- 57:16I'm going to give you like a ping. Just a quick
- 57:19little bell. You're close enough. May, May of
- 57:222023. May of 2023. So a full three years and
- 57:29two months because it began in March of 2020
- 57:33and a full two weeks to flatten the curve. Three
- 57:38years later, the World Health Organization officially
- 57:43and finally ended its public health emergency
- 57:46declaration. Bonus points for when the last lockdown
- 57:53ended, again, globally. Or where, where, you
- 58:01wear or win or both. Double bonus points if you
- 58:04get the win and the where. My immediate impulse
- 58:07is Australia. And it probably ended, the last
- 58:13one was like... January 2023, December 2022,
- 58:18something like that. For the for the for the
- 58:25for the second half, the first half was China
- 58:27is actually China. But not all parts of China.
- 58:32Yeah. Nice for that, too. Yeah, actually, you're
- 58:37not far off. It wasn't all of China. It was the
- 58:40parts of China that needed more governing than
- 58:43other parts of China, of course, because they're
- 58:45communist China. We're all equal. Some of us
- 58:48are just more equal than others. So certain regions
- 58:51of China got shoved into lockdown and didn't
- 58:55get out of it until late, late 2022, November,
- 58:58December timeframe. Yep. Imagine that, man, a
- 59:02two year lockdown. Australia was a pretty good
- 59:04guess though, too, because Australia wasn't that
- 59:05far behind. Man, those people down there, the
- 59:08down under, they're under something, under the
- 59:11thumb. Bonus, bonus, bonus question. Yes. Which
- 59:16two states were the last to end their lockdowns
- 59:19and when and if you get even one of them in the
- 59:22win You're you're in good shape here And okay,
- 59:26so it's gonna be counterintuitive. I mean, I
- 59:29this is not my answer. I'm just working it out
- 59:31of course, I immediately think California and
- 59:35I know Washington was pretty nuts, but they might
- 59:38not have been the last to like end it it might
- 59:40be something like, you know, Vermont or like
- 59:43Rhode Island or something like that or or Washington
- 59:47DC is not going to count as a state. Vermont
- 59:50is pretty commie. So I'm going to go with Vermont
- 59:53and New Hampshire, no. Massachusetts. And the
- 1:00:04when? I don't think it was much later than maybe
- 1:00:11spring of 2022 on account of that's when they
- 1:00:14switched to the Ukraine propaganda. So I'm going
- 1:00:15to say like May 2022. You sure about that? No
- 1:00:22bell for you on either count. I love how you
- 1:00:25you played You actually played yourself super
- 1:00:27hard your it was intuitive. It was not counterintuitive.
- 1:00:30It was California and Oregon of course with the
- 1:00:34last two California being the last last and it
- 1:00:37was June of 2021 that both of them finally ended
- 1:00:40their shelter -in -place mandates June of 2021
- 1:00:45dude a full year. Yeah Yep. Yeah. But remember,
- 1:00:52you don't shelter in place if you are part of
- 1:00:55the operations for Costco, Walmart, CVS, Target
- 1:01:00or Home Depot or Lowe's or Amazon or any of those
- 1:01:05things. Or if you're Governor Holchel or Governor
- 1:01:07Newsom. Yeah. You don't have to do anything that
- 1:01:10you tell other people to do. You issue those
- 1:01:12edicts and then you go on your merry way and
- 1:01:15do whatever you want. And then when they catch
- 1:01:16you, you just go. I'm one of the beautiful people
- 1:01:21shut up and everybody goes The leaders need haircuts
- 1:01:26and five course meals the glorious glorious leader
- 1:01:31leader leaders What a joke Let's move along believe
- 1:01:37it or not jail you go straight to jail Straight
- 1:01:41to jail. What can we move along here to? Let's
- 1:01:46find out as long as we're on you know, the the
- 1:01:48West Coast, California, Oregon How do Washington
- 1:01:52consumers feel about the upcoming gas tax? Increase
- 1:01:57for news now wanted to know so they sent a field
- 1:02:00reporter to various gas station parking lots
- 1:02:03in the Spokane Stan area Oh, sure. Yeah, and
- 1:02:07you're gonna love this field reporters name Well,
- 1:02:10the gas tax, I should say, in Washington is going
- 1:02:13up next week. Washington has the third highest
- 1:02:16gas tax in the country, with the actual price
- 1:02:18of gas in Spokane being about $1 above the national
- 1:02:22average. Here's a quick look at the prices across
- 1:02:24the region right now. The average price per gallon
- 1:02:26in Washington is $5 .24. In Spokane, that number
- 1:02:30a little lower, at $4 .72. And just across the
- 1:02:33border, Idaho's average is at $4 .17. sunny day
- 1:02:38has more details on the gas tax and you catch
- 1:02:40that and sunny day here now with the weather
- 1:02:44here's Goldie showers since sunny day is always
- 1:02:47sunny in Philadelphia here. Sunny day has more
- 1:02:50details on the gas tax and where that money goes.
- 1:02:54Spokane residents are already paying just under
- 1:02:56five dollars a gallon and this upcoming tax increase
- 1:02:59is just the first of these yearly tax hikes.
- 1:03:02Next week, drivers will start paying one more
- 1:03:04cent per gallon. In all, drivers filling up in
- 1:03:07Washington pay 56 cents per gallon. Come on man,
- 1:03:10it's not that big of an ask. Jeez, just hold
- 1:03:12still. Just for the state gas tax. Lawmakers
- 1:03:15say these annual increases are needed because
- 1:03:17the current taxes aren't bringing in enough money
- 1:03:19to pay for transportation projects and maintenance.
- 1:03:22But drivers tell me they don't feel like they
- 1:03:24see any of that money coming back into the community.
- 1:03:27We've allowed these people to keep taxing us.
- 1:03:30And I don't see anything. Yeah, you have. What
- 1:03:32do you mean, these people? We've allowed these
- 1:03:35people to keep taxing us. What do you mean? Who
- 1:03:37are you referring to? We've allowed these people
- 1:03:39to keep taxing us. And I don't see anything on
- 1:03:42this side of the cascades. Everything on the
- 1:03:45other side seems to be going just fine. We have
- 1:03:48road construction that's been going on for years.
- 1:03:51The bridge, the interstate, for example. And
- 1:03:55we just sit here and wait. A single mother told
- 1:03:57me that although the increase seems small, these
- 1:03:59price hikes make a huge impact on her family.
- 1:04:02I'm currently at a shelter with my two kids.
- 1:04:05Now, I don't I don't know what the I don't know
- 1:04:08if it's just these are the people who agreed
- 1:04:10to do this when they're approached by Sunny Day
- 1:04:12and Goldie Showers or if these are this who they're
- 1:04:14seeking out. But there's always they're always
- 1:04:17morbidly obese. The women this this woman was
- 1:04:20at least 100 pounds overweight. I'm currently
- 1:04:23at a shelter with my two kids and we're working
- 1:04:27towards housing and all that. But right now my
- 1:04:30car is pretty much my livelihood. It's the only
- 1:04:32thing I have to fall back on. She told me the
- 1:04:35tax is too expensive and should be cut. I've
- 1:04:37been struggling trying to even afford to gas
- 1:04:40up my car and wait, wait, but I thought I thought
- 1:04:43tax cuts were literally killing people, especially
- 1:04:46the poor. So I mean, these cuts are interesting.
- 1:04:51Yeah, no, just like you have to have an ID to
- 1:04:54get an ID to get your ID and then pay for it
- 1:04:56all. We can't help the poor unless we steal more
- 1:05:01money from them. Have we all just pay our fair
- 1:05:04share, right? I've been struggling trying to
- 1:05:07even afford to gas up my car. And if they're
- 1:05:12raising it again, I don't know what I'm going
- 1:05:15to do. And on top of the tax, the state is also
- 1:05:17adding new fees on vehicle registration and higher
- 1:05:20weight fees for trucks. It's a small increase
- 1:05:23at the pump next week, but one that's expected
- 1:05:25to grow over time. Thank you very much mainstream
- 1:05:28media for shilling on behalf of the state. Don't
- 1:05:30worry, citizen subject. It's just a small increase.
- 1:05:33It's a small increase at the pump next week,
- 1:05:35but one that's expected to grow over time from
- 1:05:38Spokane. Oh, yeah. You mean like it always does.
- 1:05:41Oh, my gosh. It's going to it's going to metastasize.
- 1:05:45It's a fiery, fiery, but mostly peaceful protest,
- 1:05:48Scott. Just shut up while we while we burn you
- 1:05:51with it. There's Sunny Day and the morbidly obese
- 1:05:54lady. Dude, this shit is dystopian. There is
- 1:06:00no other way to put it. It is pure dystopian.
- 1:06:04Washington already has the third highest gas
- 1:06:06price taxes or gas prices in the country. And
- 1:06:10then at the end of it, it's a small increase,
- 1:06:12but that's OK. It's going to get worse. Signing
- 1:06:17off, I'm Sunny Day. Four news now. Or whatever.
- 1:06:22Where was that actually from? That was from...
- 1:06:25Makes you think of that meme. You ever seen that
- 1:06:27meme with the guy in the gas mask on the tank
- 1:06:29and he's like, hey comrade, remember when I told
- 1:06:31you it was gonna go this way? Well, don't worry.
- 1:06:35It's going to get a whole lot worse. I want to
- 1:06:40play this. But you get two different new choices
- 1:06:42for license plates, Scott. One of them has fairies
- 1:06:45and rainbows. The boysy one has the rainbows.
- 1:06:52Oh my gosh. But where's that money going to go?
- 1:06:56Is that money going to go for road maintenance?
- 1:06:58Like, no, that money is probably going to go
- 1:07:00straight to the gays. Here I was debating whether
- 1:07:05to play this. I think we should. It's been one
- 1:07:08year since the Canfield Mountain Ambush and they
- 1:07:13held a memorial and a few different networks
- 1:07:15covered it. Here is Krem's coverage. And I thought
- 1:07:18there was one interesting political moment. I
- 1:07:23don't know if it's quite the fault of the mainstream
- 1:07:25media versus the person who sort of said it during
- 1:07:28their speech, but you can take a listen. Kremtu's
- 1:07:30Regan Gallo was on the scene during last year's
- 1:07:33shooting, and today she returned for the memorial
- 1:07:35ceremony where hundreds gathered at McEwen Park.
- 1:07:40Well, at the ceremony honoring the two North
- 1:07:42Idaho battalion chiefs for the first time since
- 1:07:44the tragedy, we hear from Frank Harwood's wife
- 1:07:47as well as John Morrison Jr. son, who spoke to
- 1:07:51the crowd, thanking them for the community's
- 1:07:53unwavering support. June 29th 2025 is a date
- 1:08:03forever. Edged into the heart of North Idaho.
- 1:08:06Most days the weight of it is almost unbearable.
- 1:08:09But I've learned to stop looking too far ahead.
- 1:08:13And just be present in the moment. A day marked
- 1:08:16by unimaginable loss. Hundreds gathered in Coeur
- 1:08:19d 'Alene's McEwen Park to honor the fallen, where
- 1:08:22Joe Morrison, son of late Battalion Chief John
- 1:08:25Morrison Junior of Coeur d 'Alene Fire Department.
- 1:08:29urged the community to take action on gun violence
- 1:08:32prevention and mental health. the from the sun
- 1:08:52from the podium, but they they summarize that
- 1:08:55they had their anchor say it. But yeah, they
- 1:08:57they they decided to work that in there urged
- 1:08:59the community to take action on gun violence,
- 1:09:02prevention and mental health. My dad, when I
- 1:09:04quote George told me complacency kills and that's
- 1:09:09true. The number is if we are complacent, if
- 1:09:11we leave the leader today and bring our hands
- 1:09:13and say, well, that tragedy was a one off. I
- 1:09:18hate to say it, but. There'll be many more of
- 1:09:21these speeches given in the future. If we are
- 1:09:25complacent... So he fear -mongered and pushed
- 1:09:29gun control. That's what it seems like. And it's
- 1:09:32like, well, you know, he lost his dad in this
- 1:09:34horrendous act of evil, whatever the hell it
- 1:09:37was that actually happened there, this absurd
- 1:09:39evil that was perpetrated. And I can't be...
- 1:09:44I can't be... You know, I'm on a saleable at
- 1:09:46the moment on account of it was my dad. And so
- 1:09:49I'm going to make I'm going to do some political
- 1:09:51messaging and I'm going to do it in a way like
- 1:09:53it's we can't be complacent. Otherwise, there's
- 1:09:57going to be lots more of these incidents. So
- 1:09:59in other words, what like we can't be complacent?
- 1:10:02That's code. How do you interpret that? Oh, it's
- 1:10:06the same thing. It always is. We have to do something.
- 1:10:10It's every single time. The state government
- 1:10:13loves a crisis because a crisis means they get
- 1:10:15to they get to do something. and the do something
- 1:10:18usually is steal more money from us and steal
- 1:10:21more rights because we can't possibly just leave
- 1:10:25people alone or observe a situation be like yeah
- 1:10:28that one's a bummer but no no we we have to do
- 1:10:31something well you know 100 years of having to
- 1:10:34do something and we're we're where we are now
- 1:10:36overregulated overtaxed and no room to breathe
- 1:10:39or maneuver and mental health crisis up the wazoo
- 1:10:42but that's a product of public school system.
- 1:10:45That's a product of, oh, I don't know, COVID
- 1:10:47lockdowns. That's a product of the broken homes
- 1:10:50and nuclear family breakdown that also is a product
- 1:10:52of government programs and the Great Society
- 1:10:55and things that allow the state to take the place
- 1:10:58of parents. The cultural wars also pushed by
- 1:11:01the government. Once you know it, guess what
- 1:11:04the common denominator is, Scott? That's what
- 1:11:06it is. Three guesses and the first two don't
- 1:11:09count. So of course the government has to do
- 1:11:12something. to fix all of the issues the government
- 1:11:15created. I know I sound like a loon always talking
- 1:11:20about how the government, usually I would use
- 1:11:22the term the state and I should probably start
- 1:11:24doing that. Our listeners I think are smart enough
- 1:11:25now because government is a word that can mean
- 1:11:29something as simple as the hierarchy in a household,
- 1:11:32you know, how is the household governed and that,
- 1:11:34you know, or how the church is structured or
- 1:11:37et cetera, et cetera. Government can mean it's
- 1:11:40just how something is structured and how, how
- 1:11:42hierarchical it is. Whereas the state this is
- 1:11:45really what I should be referring to and that's
- 1:11:47yeah the state and not that that's not necessarily
- 1:11:49the state of Idaho it's the state the state is
- 1:11:52always a government but It's an entity that claims
- 1:11:56to have rights that we as individuals don't have
- 1:11:58the right to murder the right to steal They call
- 1:12:00it taxes and they call it, you know law enforcement,
- 1:12:03but it's murder and theft or war So anyways going
- 1:12:07back to my original point. I know I'm always
- 1:12:09prattling on about the government or the state
- 1:12:12what? any thinking, reasoning, human being, if
- 1:12:14you just dig, dig into any issue, and you'll
- 1:12:19find the common denominator is always the state,
- 1:12:23every single time. It's too much without fail.
- 1:12:28You know, as such, and along the lines of this
- 1:12:31dude who lost his dad in this incident and then
- 1:12:34is doing the gun control thing from the podium,
- 1:12:39Here is from Clipperoni from a dude named Jeff's
- 1:12:42tool that he's returning value and having us
- 1:12:44use it as mentioned in the value for value segment.
- 1:12:47The latest, the clip that I used from episode
- 1:12:4934, and I made a clip with it, and part of the,
- 1:12:54part of like the studio or whatever, the backend
- 1:12:56of this program, it does its info, summary, transcript,
- 1:12:59design, b -roll, there's different tabs where
- 1:13:01you can make clips. Well, the summary tab is
- 1:13:04basically like an AI, when you upload the audio
- 1:13:06of the show, it, It puts it like analyzes it,
- 1:13:10you know, the transcript or whatever, and then
- 1:13:12it makes it like makes an AI summary of the show.
- 1:13:14And I thought it was really interesting. Listen
- 1:13:16to the first couple of sentences of it, of this
- 1:13:18summary. This episode is an informal combative
- 1:13:22deconstruction of mainstream and some independent
- 1:13:25media, state institutions and pandemic era policy
- 1:13:29making delivered with heavy sarcasm, recurring
- 1:13:31bits and provocative humor. The hosts position
- 1:13:34themselves as skeptical libertarian anarchist
- 1:13:36commentators who see media and government as
- 1:13:38a coordinated one -two punch. Okay, but what
- 1:13:41I thought was really interesting was that it
- 1:13:43is labeled as - That's how the Clipperoni describes
- 1:13:46our show? Correct. That's how the AI summary
- 1:13:49of the show that it analyzes. Now, what I thought
- 1:13:51was so interesting was the word combative. So,
- 1:13:55in other words, when our liberty and sanity and
- 1:13:59money is taken, is confiscated forcibly from
- 1:14:04us. And then we react, we're combative. It's
- 1:14:09just the same thing. Yeah, they point a gun at
- 1:14:11us and they say, give us your rights. And we
- 1:14:14go, no. And they say, is that a threat? You're
- 1:14:18so combative, you're threatening us. It's the
- 1:14:21same thing with this poor kid, he's not a kid,
- 1:14:24but from this podium at this memorial. Is it,
- 1:14:29you know, like, well, are you attacking the guy?
- 1:14:31Like, you know, like he's lost his dad. I'm not
- 1:14:34I'm not trying to be combative. He started it
- 1:14:37like he's the one who's using this pulpit to
- 1:14:40do what he's not. He's making he's doing political
- 1:14:43messaging. And then we're just responding to
- 1:14:47it. But I know that it gets interpreted and heard
- 1:14:49as we're the combative ones. When you get up
- 1:14:53and you leverage your father's death to push
- 1:14:56a shitty political agenda that also is aimed
- 1:15:00at natural liberties that we hold dear, then
- 1:15:03yeah, fuck you. I get to criticize you. I get
- 1:15:07to criticize you. I get to criticize your cow.
- 1:15:09I get to criticize your family. I get to criticize
- 1:15:12your shitty political opinions. You put yourself
- 1:15:15out there. You play stupid games. You win stupid
- 1:15:18prizes. A couple more for this week. Let's do
- 1:15:25we do the new laws. Some of the new Idaho laws
- 1:15:29going into effect July 1 tomorrow. Or two days
- 1:15:32ago, as you're hearing this? We didn't do that
- 1:15:34yet, did we? No. Tomorrow, a new set of laws
- 1:15:37will officially go into effect across Idaho.
- 1:15:40Creme 2's Brandon T. Jones is live in the newsroom
- 1:15:42with a breakdown of these new laws. Brandon?
- 1:15:45Yeah, good morning, Tim. Nicole, that's right.
- 1:15:46And one of the biggest talkers is House Bill
- 1:15:48752. That's also known as the bathroom bill.
- 1:15:52The bill makes it a crime to knowingly use a
- 1:15:54restroom that does not align with a person's
- 1:15:56biological sex at birth. This law applies for
- 1:15:59You know, the phrasing is so funny. Biological
- 1:16:03sex at birth. As if there's a difference between
- 1:16:06your biological sex at any given moment in the
- 1:16:09present and what's the at birth qualifier? If
- 1:16:14leftists were really genuine about their positions,
- 1:16:18they would just abort all those babies and then
- 1:16:20it wouldn't even be an issue. Non -issue line
- 1:16:21with a person's biological sex at birth. This
- 1:16:25law applies for changing rooms and locker rooms
- 1:16:27as well But earlier this month a judge issued
- 1:16:30a preliminary injunction Temporarily blocking
- 1:16:33a section about single -use restrooms and multi
- 1:16:35-use restrooms when no single option is reasonably
- 1:16:38Available a couple of other big ones that take
- 1:16:41effect tomorrow house bill 548 will now require
- 1:16:44law enforcement on the water to have reasonable
- 1:16:46suspicion Before stopping a boat or vessel to
- 1:16:49search it previously they could Hell yeah. Oh,
- 1:16:52is that right? What's that? Seriously, they could
- 1:16:54do so without reasonable cost. Wow. Things that
- 1:16:58you never thought would need to be codified into
- 1:17:00law, right? Like that is one that you would just...
- 1:17:03How on earth did that have to be written down?
- 1:17:06Like, hey, road pirates, or I guess, hey, actual
- 1:17:09pirates, because they are on the water now. You
- 1:17:12don't get to pull people over unless you have
- 1:17:14a reason. What? So now we have to make up reasons
- 1:17:21that we had probable cause god that's so much
- 1:17:23effort They will though they absolutely will
- 1:17:27it'll be easy. They'll find there. They'll find
- 1:17:30a list a short list of like six They'll probably
- 1:17:33have a little three by five note card that they'll
- 1:17:35have in their bulletproof vests They're their
- 1:17:37Kevlar best so they can whip out and be like
- 1:17:38oh, yeah number three sweet I don't see any life
- 1:17:41vests on you guys. We're coming over But I own
- 1:17:47this boat. This is my boat. I paid for it. I
- 1:17:49registered it. I paid the taxes on it. I paid
- 1:17:51the registration fees on it. I paid for whatever
- 1:17:54bullshit to make sure the lake is accessible.
- 1:17:58It's my boat. We don't want to wear vests. Do
- 1:18:02you know how much maintenance it takes to keep
- 1:18:04the water surface floatable? Dude, all that asphalt
- 1:18:09that they have to pour over into that water to
- 1:18:11keep it smooth and pothole free. You know, I
- 1:18:15just had a probably have a Department of Water
- 1:18:18a Department of Water scraping or the guy goes
- 1:18:20out there with a butter knife and just smooths
- 1:18:22the lake over the job security Department of
- 1:18:27Water scraping possible show title And I thought
- 1:18:31what about um at like a one of the Kootenai sheriff
- 1:18:34boats with like a pirate flag for show art Yes,
- 1:18:39yeah 100 % with like hey, what are you doing
- 1:18:43over there? In your own property. Now go away
- 1:18:47or I shall taunt you a second time. This is the
- 1:18:50last part of this clip. Senate Bill 1354 creates
- 1:18:53a law that no homeowners association can enforce
- 1:18:56rules that limit or prohibit homeowners to have
- 1:18:59or to be able to build accessory dwelling units.
- 1:19:02That's going to be a part of a push to increase
- 1:19:05housing options across the state. For now live
- 1:19:08in the newsroom. Amazing that they had to put
- 1:19:09that into words too. No kidding. That's another
- 1:19:13thing was like and another bill coming down from
- 1:19:15the state of Idaho that says Local governments
- 1:19:17can't tell you what you can and can't do with
- 1:19:20your own property. Well in their defense It's
- 1:19:22not really our property is it we rent it from
- 1:19:24them And actually here is this a possible new
- 1:19:34one the state the state the state How do you
- 1:19:37like that one? Should I add that one? Mmm. Is
- 1:19:40it not? Yeah, I do because he's so happy about
- 1:19:42it you You can't beat Marvin Troxell at least
- 1:19:46not yet and his just deadpan soul -sucking Ward
- 1:19:51of the government Look at right. I mean that
- 1:19:55guy's just been dead inside since the early 60s
- 1:19:57the state That doesn't matter give us your money
- 1:20:05and also We, you can't build there either. It's
- 1:20:08like, but, but I gave you my money. I should
- 1:20:10be able to do what I want on my property. Well,
- 1:20:13it wasn't yours to begin with. Where are you
- 1:20:15getting that idea? Oh, I'm upset about this.
- 1:20:23Oh, let's do a public service announcement. One
- 1:20:26more for this week. Three out of those, out of
- 1:20:29those three, all three were things that should
- 1:20:31never have to be put into words and codified
- 1:20:33into law. There was a few different, a few different
- 1:20:36networks did, did the new laws going into effect.
- 1:20:38I included that one because it hit exactly the
- 1:20:41three that were the most absurd. Wait a minute.
- 1:20:44That had to be declared. Yeah. And they also
- 1:20:48were the most controversial. Well, three of the
- 1:20:51most controversial out of probably, you know,
- 1:20:53the 10 that were super controversial, but it's
- 1:20:55like, Hey, I, I finally get to use my property
- 1:21:01the way I want. Well, cool. Once again. It's
- 1:21:06not your property. Oh, dude. You know, with the
- 1:21:09bathroom thing, all they had to do was just say,
- 1:21:13if it's a public, if it's a taxpayer funded bathroom,
- 1:21:17so quote unquote public, which is a misnomer,
- 1:21:19but whatever, if it's taxpayer funded, then you
- 1:21:23have to do it this way. Man in man, women in
- 1:21:26the women bathroom. There you go. And then if
- 1:21:29it's anything else, dealer's choice. Business
- 1:21:32owners get to choose. privately, you get to choose.
- 1:21:35Boom. There you go. Problem solved. You know
- 1:21:39what I want to add to the soundboard? I should
- 1:21:41have it just at the ready is Blair White, a dude
- 1:21:46who became a lady and Doesn't agree with the
- 1:21:50trans political set because it has nothing to
- 1:21:53do with Converting your gender and has everything
- 1:21:55to do with politics Blair white and the her thing
- 1:21:58about the bathrooms If you're supporting this
- 1:22:00man in the women's locker room at gold gym I
- 1:22:03just want to let you know you are not supporting
- 1:22:05trans people or trans rights. You are supporting
- 1:22:07perverts and perverts rights I just think it's
- 1:22:10important that you know what you're actually
- 1:22:12doing sincerely from a trans woman. Thank you.
- 1:22:15Bye So just have that just have it at the ready
- 1:22:18Yes, actually, that's a good sound drop. Here
- 1:22:21is let's have a public service announcement to
- 1:22:24end the show with. Let's play this one from nonstop
- 1:22:28local before we end with the public service announcement.
- 1:22:32This is with regard to ice detainees being shipped
- 1:22:35out of Idaho airports. Residents of one southern
- 1:22:37Idaho City are raising questions about the treatment
- 1:22:39of ice detainees during transfer flights at the
- 1:22:42local airport. Some community members in Twin
- 1:22:44Falls say they had been watching as federal immigration
- 1:22:47detainees are loaded onto charter flights at
- 1:22:49Magic Valley Airport. They have like what they're
- 1:22:51like they're like clinging to the chain link
- 1:22:53fence watching these proceedings like what is
- 1:22:55that sort of odd but or are they organized out
- 1:22:59-of -staters like the bust in BLM? Little unclear,
- 1:23:02but apparently there's people that are watching
- 1:23:05these proceedings. Some community members in
- 1:23:07Twin Falls say they have been watching as federal
- 1:23:09immigration detainees are loaded onto charter
- 1:23:11flights at Magic Valley Airport. One resident
- 1:23:14says she's been troubled by what she's seen.
- 1:23:17I don't see them with criminal records. You know,
- 1:23:20I don't see that sort of thing going on. It's
- 1:23:24important to note that ICE detainees typically
- 1:23:25buy... I mean, I hate to be that guy, but if
- 1:23:29you're in... a country illegally. Did I miss
- 1:23:34something or is that not technically a crime?
- 1:23:35No, that doesn't count. They're just migrants.
- 1:23:37It is a criminal record. They're migrants. You're
- 1:23:40anti -migrant, is that it? You're right. I hate
- 1:23:44them. That's it. I'm xenophobic. I'm probably
- 1:23:49homophobic. I'm probably brownophobic. Sexist,
- 1:23:53intolerant, Islamophobic. Whatever. You know,
- 1:23:57the best part about this is most of those illegal
- 1:23:59immigrants probably have a shorter rap list than
- 1:24:01I do. rap sheet than I do. It's kind of the irony.
- 1:24:08I mean, the state of Idaho has tried to ring
- 1:24:10me up for all kinds of stuff. Yeah, technically
- 1:24:12on paper. I'm only a single misdemeanor, but
- 1:24:14man, it could have been it could have been quite
- 1:24:16the laundry list when it's all said and done.
- 1:24:19But if we're being technical and the law matters,
- 1:24:22right, because like I'll stand up here and I'll
- 1:24:24say that most of the law is one of two things.
- 1:24:28It's either evil and against liberty. or it's
- 1:24:33redundant, because natural law already covers
- 1:24:37those things. So that's why the state is just
- 1:24:40a ridiculous apparatus that we should abolish,
- 1:24:42because any of the laws it makes either already
- 1:24:44are redundancies of natural law that we already
- 1:24:47enforce in a natural and hierarchical way and
- 1:24:50just because they're intuitive to the human condition,
- 1:24:53or they are the antithesis of what is good and
- 1:24:56right and moral and ethical and against liberty.
- 1:24:59However, technically, if you break the law, sorry,
- 1:25:03Speaking of breaking the laws, pipe down there,
- 1:25:05little guy. Telling you what, babies, why do
- 1:25:08we not abort them all? I'm kidding. I'm kidding.
- 1:25:11I love my kids. They're beautiful. That one was
- 1:25:15for you leftists to listen. I think we should
- 1:25:17ship all the Banducci's back to Italy. It's important
- 1:25:20to note that ICE detainees typically bypass local
- 1:25:23courts facing federal immigration judges unless
- 1:25:25they also have pending state or local criminal
- 1:25:28charges, according to. Oh, OK, so federal don't
- 1:25:31count. According to the watchdog group. Anyway,
- 1:25:34but hold on back to my original point. Basically,
- 1:25:36if you break the law, you are a criminal. So
- 1:25:37when you tell people when you say, oh, they're
- 1:25:39not criminal. Well, you did break the law. Now,
- 1:25:41I disagree with most of the law. I really do.
- 1:25:43Eighty five percent of it. I disagree with. However,
- 1:25:45on a technical in a technical sense and especially
- 1:25:48with statists who always trot out the law when
- 1:25:51it suits them and then put it away the moment
- 1:25:53it doesn't get bent when it comes to that. Yeah.
- 1:25:57These illegal immigrants are criminals. Yes,
- 1:25:59they literally are. Now, what we do with it all,
- 1:26:03that's a whole nother debate. Unpapered migrants.
- 1:26:07According to the Watchdog Group Human Rights
- 1:26:08First... Unpapered? What are they, what are they,
- 1:26:10mutts? That was a show title from a few episodes
- 1:26:14back. Do we need to, do we need to crate train
- 1:26:17them? According to the Watchdog Group Human Rights
- 1:26:20First, domestic transfer flights, also known
- 1:26:23as shuffle flights, have almost doubled this
- 1:26:25year compared to last. Shuffle flights, that
- 1:26:26sounds fun. The organization also says smaller
- 1:26:28regional airports like Twin Falls started being
- 1:26:31used... back in May. The Twin Fa says the city
- 1:26:35does not co operations at the airport. And finally
- 1:26:46for this week, a public service message from
- 1:26:49the No ID Show to you. The Cooney County Sheriff's
- 1:26:51Office is warning people of a scam involving
- 1:26:53driveway resurfacing. This scam also happened
- 1:26:56last year. It involves people going door -to
- 1:26:58-door to sell driveway resurfacing services at
- 1:27:01a low cost. But once the project is done, the
- 1:27:03bill may be four times more than the initial
- 1:27:06estimate. When the final bill is disputed, the
- 1:27:09sheriff's office says the crew then use bullying
- 1:27:12tactics to get the desired amount. If you believe
- 1:27:15you've been a victim of this scam or have come
- 1:27:16into contact with this group, you're asked to
- 1:27:19call the sheriff's office. Now, does that sequence
- 1:27:21of events, those those bullet point descriptions
- 1:27:24with regard to money and then becoming a lot
- 1:27:26more money and then being bullied in order so
- 1:27:28that you cough up the money? Does that sound
- 1:27:31familiar? You beat me to the punch I was gonna
- 1:27:35be like that sounds like Sandpoint trying to
- 1:27:38pay for parking spaces other government doing
- 1:27:40any other thing Hey We need to do this. Well,
- 1:27:46I don't know if you do but but okay. All right
- 1:27:49now that we're done. It's four times more I Disagree
- 1:27:53that seems like a lot. That's too much. That
- 1:27:55shouldn't that should definitely not cost that
- 1:27:57much. Oh, yeah Well, if you don't pay we're gonna
- 1:27:59hurt you Why I'd rather not I'd rather really
- 1:28:04rather not but Okay, and then I pay and then
- 1:28:08I use it. They're like see wasn't that nice.
- 1:28:09Look at you using that driveway Aren't you glad
- 1:28:12that we raped and pillaged you? What do you want
- 1:28:15to do? You want to live in Somalia where there
- 1:28:16are no driveways? Is that it where there are
- 1:28:19no? Driveways and no parking meters on your driveways,
- 1:28:23then that'd be awesome. You go out there. There's
- 1:28:24a parking meter in your driveway Well, we have
- 1:28:27to pay for driveway somehow You gotta pay for
- 1:28:32your driveway somehow. Do you know how many more
- 1:28:35executive driveway administrators we had to hire
- 1:28:38this year? That's a simulation. This is ridiculous.
- 1:28:46I believe you get your ass kicked saying so much,
- 1:28:49man. Two chicks at the same time. Dude, I want
- 1:28:57off this ride. I mean, it's cool to be on the
- 1:29:00ride with my friends, but can we just can I take
- 1:29:03my friends and we can just get on a different
- 1:29:05ride? Surely there's another ride somewhere.
- 1:29:07I mean, I would even take one of those, uh, the
- 1:29:09things that spin you around while you're standing
- 1:29:11up pressed against it. Like your back is pressed
- 1:29:13against the, I don't even know what that's called.
- 1:29:16And I've never ridden one in my life because
- 1:29:18it looks like the goddamn worst thing I've ever
- 1:29:20seen, but I would still rather ride that. Yeah.
- 1:29:26Well, whatever ride it's going to be, don't go
- 1:29:28to, um, silverwood to do it because they also
- 1:29:30charge for parking 10 bucks, baby, 10 bucks for
- 1:29:34parking. As my daughter just learned this year.
- 1:29:37When she went to Silverwood and took my son,
- 1:29:40she drove my son to Silverwood. They had a good
- 1:29:41time and she came back and she was like, they
- 1:29:43charged me $10 for parking. Man. Welcome to the
- 1:29:47world, kid. Get used to it. Yeah. Imagine that.
- 1:29:51You know, Silverwood probably just looked up
- 1:29:53what the government does. And we can do a little
- 1:29:55shilling on behalf of Silverwood. It's really
- 1:30:00low. The reasonable and low fee of only $10.
- 1:30:04Ten dollars, which is way less for about eight
- 1:30:06hours is about a buck fifty an hour. There you
- 1:30:08go seems easy Easy, so easy to pay that hold
- 1:30:13still anyway easy until episode 36 from Post
- 1:30:16Falls I'm Scott and I'm Paul hold still because
- 1:30:22taxation is theft. I get to criticize your cow
