- 0:00Speaker 1: The Mark Simon Show on seven to tenor.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Hey it's Friday. That's the good news. We got a
- 0:10Speaker 2: lot to get through this hour, the Mayor Ol Debate,
- 0:12Speaker 2: No Kings, Zelenski and Letitia James and John Bolton. And
- 0:19Speaker 2: if you can't listen to the show live, you know
- 0:20Speaker 2: you can listen to the podcast if for some reason
- 0:22Speaker 2: you can't listen ten to noon. Anyplace you get your podcast,
- 0:26Speaker 2: you'll find the podcast of this show. And by the way,
- 0:28Speaker 2: on the weekends there's a bonus segment that's not on
- 0:32Speaker 2: the air. You'll get a whole extra bit of a
- 0:34Speaker 2: show on the weekends if you're a podcast listener. So
- 0:39Speaker 2: the Mayor All Race, the debate was last night. It
- 0:42Speaker 2: was one hour on television and one hour after that
- 0:45Speaker 2: just streaming YouTube and all of that. It was a
- 0:49Speaker 2: little too long. Got the point after the first hour
- 0:52Speaker 2: and into the second hour. Imagine a lot of people
- 0:54Speaker 2: tuning out. It was just too long. Curtis won the debate.
- 0:58Speaker 2: I don't know if people notice that. That's the only problem.
- 1:01Speaker 2: It was Channel four running the debate, which is always
- 1:05Speaker 2: not good. They kept trying to bury Curtis, they kept
- 1:08Speaker 2: trying to hide him, they kept going to Cuomo and
- 1:10Speaker 2: Mam Donni more and more and more and more and less.
- 1:13Speaker 2: Curtis even pointing that out to the moderators at one
- 1:15Speaker 2: point he was great in the debate. The problem is,
- 1:18Speaker 2: does anybody notice that he won? Does it get seen
- 1:22Speaker 2: by enough people? There was no big knockout punch, That's
- 1:26Speaker 2: the problem. Moderators wouldn't even allow a space for that
- 1:31Speaker 2: to happen. Mam Donnie, if you were, I imagine he
- 1:35Speaker 2: lost some boats last night for one reason. He just
- 1:37Speaker 2: looked a little.
- 1:38Speaker 3: Uh.
- 1:40Speaker 2: The Mam Donnie of the primaries was much faster and
- 1:44Speaker 2: more on target. This Mam Donnie was being very careful,
- 1:49Speaker 2: hedging a lot of his stuff and watering down a
- 1:52Speaker 2: lot of his points and trying to stay neutral on
- 1:55Speaker 2: a lot of things. So it wasn't the same, Mom Donnie.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Cuomo was talking in that voice that he talks in,
- 2:03Speaker 2: that slow talk where he goes up and down and
- 2:07Speaker 2: he goes into that sing song when he talks. So
- 2:10Speaker 2: it wasn't effective. And he is we're talking about last year,
- 2:13Speaker 2: he got way too skinny. I don't know what it
- 2:14Speaker 2: is with the ozampic, but he lost all his bulk.
- 2:18Speaker 2: You know, you need to look a little a little
- 2:21Speaker 2: more manly to be to do Cuomo's act. He just
- 2:24Speaker 2: looks too scrawny. Now, Curtis was great, and he did
- 2:28Speaker 2: it without the beret on. Here's a bit of Curtis
- 2:30Speaker 2: last night, high level stuff. You know, he kept trying
- 2:34Speaker 2: to hit Curtis with the Trump stuff. He's the only
- 2:37Speaker 2: guy on the stage that has absolutely nothing to do
- 2:40Speaker 2: with Trump. Mom, Donnie uh Trump. That's a big war
- 2:44Speaker 2: and Cuomo and Trump. Trump has been backing Cuomo. Trump
- 2:48Speaker 2: has been on the phone trying to get help Cuomo,
- 2:52Speaker 2: trying to get Curtis. So Cuomo a deep Trump connection.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Curtis is the only one with nothing to do with Trump.
- 2:59Speaker 2: He's had no relation with Trump, no interest in Trump,
- 3:02Speaker 2: vice versa. They don't really have much. They have never
- 3:05Speaker 2: had anything to do with each other. They've never liked
- 3:07Speaker 2: that and each other. Now this could be a help
- 3:09Speaker 2: to Curtis that he has no Trump connection at all.
- 3:13Speaker 4: Well, there's high levels of testoster and in this room.
- 3:16Speaker 4: I've had a love hate relationship with Donald Trump that
- 3:18Speaker 4: goes back.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Over thirty years.
- 3:20Speaker 4: But I know one thing. We have Andrew Cuomo, we
- 3:24Speaker 4: have zon Mondami. They want to take on Donald Trump. Look,
- 3:29Speaker 4: you can be tough, but you can't be tough if
- 3:32Speaker 4: it's going to cost people desperately needed federal funds. Jorn Mondami,
- 3:36Speaker 4: the president has already said it's gonna take seven billion
- 3:39Speaker 4: dollars out of the budget right from the start if
- 3:41Speaker 4: you're elected mayor Yeah.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Now, a couple of times he called them Zorhan or something,
- 3:46Speaker 2: and I'm Donnie quickly said it's Zoran. Anytime you get
- 3:51Speaker 2: into that name correcting business, you're gonna you're not doing well.
- 3:54Speaker 2: I mean, Kamala, Kama, Kamala, whatever the hell her name is.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Remember she kept doing that name correcting thing. Oh if
- 3:59Speaker 2: you're mis name. If you're going to be doing that
- 4:01Speaker 2: on the campaign trail, you got a problem.
- 4:04Speaker 4: More of Curtis President of the United States, should have
- 4:06Speaker 4: been applauded by you, Johanmandami and you Andrew Como on
- 4:11Speaker 4: the day that he brought together that international coalition that
- 4:15Speaker 4: met in Egypt that came from the Middle East and
- 4:17Speaker 4: the Persian Goal. I certainly applauded him for bringing peace
- 4:21Speaker 4: to Gaza and trying to end the hostilities in the
- 4:24Speaker 4: war between the Israelis and Hamas so they can be
- 4:28Speaker 4: peace between the Israelis and peace between the Palestinians. But
- 4:32Speaker 4: you seem z are on to be incapable appraising our
- 4:35Speaker 4: president and Aelwa you were incapable of. We have to
- 4:40Speaker 4: give credit where credit, sue, He's brought peace to gosh.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Now it's Channel four running the debate. They really stink
- 4:46Speaker 2: at running a debate, maybe deliberately. They have this thing
- 4:49Speaker 2: about thirty second answers, which is ridiculous. It's a debate.
- 4:53Speaker 2: It should be two minute answers, not thirty seconds. It's
- 4:56Speaker 2: not a game show. And hopefully President Trump watched the
- 4:59Speaker 2: debate life night. He's been backing Cuomo for the last
- 5:02Speaker 2: couple months. He's been a big Cuomo backer behind the scenes,
- 5:05Speaker 2: trying to get everybody out. So Cuomo can I hope
- 5:08Speaker 2: he watched it last night, so he realizes that Cuomo
- 5:12Speaker 2: talks funny in the debates and that he's not gonna
- 5:17Speaker 2: win when he talks like that. And I don't think
- 5:21Speaker 2: he really you know, I mean, the guy's a little busy,
- 5:23Speaker 2: he's president of the United States. I don't think he
- 5:24Speaker 2: was watching the primary debates. I think if he actually
- 5:27Speaker 2: watched Cuoma in a debate, he think twice about backing him.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Here's Cuomo last night.
- 5:33Speaker 5: The Assemblyman will not announce from us. The Assemblyman will
- 5:37Speaker 5: not announce the san piker who said America deserved nine
- 5:41Speaker 5: to eleven. The Assemblyman just said in his response, well,
- 5:45Speaker 5: it depends on occupation. That is code, meaning that the
- 5:51Speaker 5: Israel does not have a right to exist as a
- 5:53Speaker 5: Jewish state, which he has never acknowledged.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Yeah, you know the funny thing in this race, Curtis
- 5:59Speaker 2: is the only New York City candidate. Mam Donnie just
- 6:03Speaker 2: got to this country a few years ago. He just
- 6:05Speaker 2: became a citizen recently. He's not a New Yorker. And
- 6:08Speaker 2: Cuomo was born in New York, but he's lived his
- 6:12Speaker 2: entire adult life in the suburbs, not in New York City.
- 6:15Speaker 2: It's very unusual, very very unusual. You've had mayors from
- 6:20Speaker 2: out of ten. David Dinkins grew up in New Jersey,
- 6:23Speaker 2: Michael Bloomberg was from Massachusetts, but they lived their entire
- 6:27Speaker 2: adult lives in New York. Cuomo would be the first
- 6:31Speaker 2: governor not from New York City. His entire adult life
- 6:35Speaker 2: has been out there in the suburbs. He was more
- 6:37Speaker 2: of Cuomo last night.
- 6:38Speaker 5: He still won't denounce globalized the intafada, which means kill
- 6:42Speaker 5: old Jews. Just say I denounced it.
- 6:45Speaker 6: He won't do it.
- 6:47Speaker 5: That's the issue and his divisiveness ronic.
- 6:51Speaker 2: Yep, you're talking. Got to stop you. That's the stupid
- 6:54Speaker 2: channel for these moderators. He's talking, stop them, Stop them.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Police were a big issue of.
- 7:00Speaker 5: He doesn't like the police. That's why he won't hire
- 7:03Speaker 5: more police when everyone else says we need more police.
- 7:07Speaker 5: He wants to use social workers on domestic violence calls,
- 7:10Speaker 5: which are very dangerous. And he's told you what he thinks.
- 7:15Speaker 5: He thinks the police are racist, wicked, corrupt, and a
- 7:19Speaker 5: threat to public safety.
- 7:20Speaker 7: Thank you, those are his words.
- 7:22Speaker 2: That's a channel four matters. Stop talking. You can't know talking.
- 7:25Speaker 2: It's a debate. No talking his mom Donnie on the police.
- 7:28Speaker 7: I'm proud to have a comprehensive plan to bring new
- 7:31Speaker 7: ideas to this city. If you want more of the same,
- 7:33Speaker 7: vote for Andrew Cuomo. If you want an actual approach
- 7:36Speaker 7: to lower crime, look at our Department of Community Safety.
- 7:40Speaker 7: That is something that has been hailed by experts as
- 7:42Speaker 7: addressing so many of the pieces of why New Yorkers
- 7:45Speaker 7: are not feeling safe today. We will ensure that no
- 7:47Speaker 7: longer our police officers asked to do the job of
- 7:50Speaker 7: both policing and responding to the mental health crisis.
- 7:53Speaker 2: All right, now, you got two guys who are not
- 7:55Speaker 2: good with cops. Mom Donnie obviously hates cops. Cuomo was
- 7:58Speaker 2: terrible with the cops, took away their qualified immunity, changed
- 8:02Speaker 2: the parole board to let all the criminals out. He's
- 8:06Speaker 2: almost left wing. Parole board let out forty three cop killers,
- 8:11Speaker 2: clmost the one of the close prisons, let the prisoners out.
- 8:13Speaker 2: He's the no bail, no jail. I mean, nobody did
- 8:16Speaker 2: more damage for policing than Cuomo. Curtis the best on
- 8:19Speaker 2: crime fighting.
- 8:20Speaker 4: What you have proposed with this new police outrage unit.
- 8:25Speaker 4: Well in danger women and children, in domestic violent situations.
- 8:29Speaker 4: I know I've been involved in so many of them
- 8:31Speaker 4: with the Guardian Angels.
- 8:32Speaker 2: They will be killed.
- 8:34Speaker 4: They will be made number two. And dealing with emotionally
- 8:37Speaker 4: disturbed persons that I have dealt with for all my
- 8:40Speaker 4: years since the Guardian Angels. You need trained professional police officer.
- 8:44Speaker 4: Think yes, you can have mental health workers with Thank you,
- 8:47Speaker 4: mister stick. That has been suggested. It was by the
- 8:50Speaker 4: homeless out and the guy you thought was the best,
- 8:53Speaker 4: say build the Blasio disbands.
- 8:55Speaker 2: Isn't this Channel four? The Channel four moderators WNBCTV there
- 9:00Speaker 2: the absolute worst at a debate. As soon as you're
- 9:02Speaker 2: talking and making appoint mister Slee, we have to move on.
- 9:05Speaker 2: We have to get the climate change. Please stop talking.
- 9:07Speaker 2: You don't want anybody to talk anyway. Hey, let's get
- 9:12Speaker 2: the John Bolton. John Bolton has been indicted. He's facing
- 9:16Speaker 2: eight counts of this, ten counts of that. He's going
- 9:18Speaker 2: to have a real problem. It looks like they've got him.
- 9:21Speaker 2: I absolutely got him on the classified documents. I mean,
- 9:25Speaker 2: there it is. And the guy, you know, it's one
- 9:26Speaker 2: thing if you steal him in a box, or put
- 9:29Speaker 2: him like Joe Biden in a box, or you put
- 9:31Speaker 2: him under your arm and take them like Joe Biden.
- 9:34Speaker 2: But when you email them to yourself, there's a record.
- 9:37Speaker 2: There's a record of you doing it. There. It is
- 9:40Speaker 2: on the server. They can see you did it. So
- 9:41Speaker 2: he's got a real problem. This guy could get ten
- 9:43Speaker 2: years in prison. Knowing President Trump, he probably wouldn't send
- 9:47Speaker 2: him in a prison. It probably commute the sentence or something.
- 9:49Speaker 2: But he's going to get convicted. And as far as Bolton, now,
- 9:53Speaker 2: let this make one thing clear. This is not lawfair.
- 9:58Speaker 2: Media left wing, Oh, this is a lawfair. No lawfair
- 10:00Speaker 2: is when you't get indicted in four different cities at
- 10:03Speaker 2: the same time. That's lawfair when you get Can you
- 10:06Speaker 2: imagine look what Bolton's going through. It's going to drain
- 10:09Speaker 2: his finances. It's going to be a nightmare. Look what
- 10:13Speaker 2: Trump went through. They did it to him in four
- 10:14Speaker 2: cities at the same time. He's in four different cities
- 10:17Speaker 2: getting indicted in Atlanta and New York and DC and Florida.
- 10:22Speaker 2: It was absolutely ridiculous. Now, as far as Bolton getting
- 10:25Speaker 2: indicted and convicted for the classified documents, as Joe Peschi
- 10:30Speaker 2: said in Casino, this guy was just begging if he
- 10:33Speaker 2: made an example of when it was Trump who did
- 10:37Speaker 2: not really have anything serious. You know, it's going to
- 10:39Speaker 2: turn out Bolton had some serious classified documents. Trump. You
- 10:42Speaker 2: saw those hundreds and hundreds of boxes. No classified documents
- 10:46Speaker 2: were in those boxes. It turned out they did find
- 10:48Speaker 2: thirty five mildly nothing things. And the thirty five if
- 10:54Speaker 2: you put them in a folder, it's about one inch thick.
- 10:57Speaker 2: That's one inch of one box. Bolton had lots of
- 11:00Speaker 2: stuff and Bolton when it was Trump, Bolton went all
- 11:04Speaker 2: over the airwave saying, Trump with taking classified documents is
- 11:07Speaker 2: the most serious crime. You must be executed tonight. You
- 11:10Speaker 2: must kept going on and on about it's the worst
- 11:13Speaker 2: crime in the world. Let me see if I can
- 11:15Speaker 2: find Bolton saying.
- 11:16Speaker 8: That this is a devastating indictment. I speak here as
- 11:19Speaker 8: an alumnus of the Justice Department myself, because not only
- 11:23Speaker 8: is it powerful, it's very narrowly tailored. They didn't throw
- 11:27Speaker 8: everything up against the wall to see what would stick.
- 11:30Speaker 8: This really is a rifle shot. And I think it
- 11:33Speaker 8: should be the end of Donald Trump's political career.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Well yeah, no, he goes on and on. Bolton was
- 11:39Speaker 2: all over television saying taking classified documents the most serious
- 11:44Speaker 2: crime there is. So I'm sure this is real karma,
- 11:49Speaker 2: real karma. And again it's not lawfair. Lawfairs're getting dited
- 11:52Speaker 2: in four cities at the same time for crimes that
- 11:55Speaker 2: nobody can even figure out. Oh hey, Trump meets with
- 11:59Speaker 2: Zelensky today day, big White House meeting taking place today,
- 12:03Speaker 2: and then at five o'clock he leaves for mar a Lago.
- 12:07Speaker 2: This will be the first time he goes to mar
- 12:09Speaker 2: A Lago. It's I don't think I think it reopens
- 12:12Speaker 2: Halloween officially, but I guess he's going to get it
- 12:15Speaker 2: in shape. Halloween is a week away, right, I think
- 12:18Speaker 2: it's yeah, a week or two away, So it'll be
- 12:22Speaker 2: the first time he goes down there. Those women, those
- 12:26Speaker 2: Palm Beach women that all descend on mar A Lago,
- 12:30Speaker 2: the ones that chase Trump around the ballroom going, how
- 12:32Speaker 2: are you remember me? No, Howie you you know that crowd.
- 12:36Speaker 2: He's going to see them again. Millennia will be cringing
- 12:38Speaker 2: at them. So that's a later today. Hey, tomorrow's the
- 12:41Speaker 2: No Kings rally. These are this is going to be
- 12:45Speaker 2: all over the place. There'll be a major, huge, one
- 12:47Speaker 2: times square, but they'll be all over the city and
- 12:49Speaker 2: they'll be all over the suburbs. So wherever you are, Connecticut,
- 12:53Speaker 2: New Jersey, Long Island, they're going to be all over
- 12:56Speaker 2: the place, these No Kings Rallies, So steer clear of them.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Mike Johnson says they're actually the Hate America rallies. The
- 13:04Speaker 2: problem with the Democrats, they've become so filled with rage
- 13:07Speaker 2: and hate most of it at Donald Trump. But they're
- 13:10Speaker 2: so busy hating Trump, resisting Trump that they're no longer
- 13:15Speaker 2: talking about issues. They're no longer debating issues. There's no
- 13:18Speaker 2: issues involved with them anymore. It's just absolute raging hatred,
- 13:23Speaker 2: No kings, nobody knows what the hell that means or
- 13:25Speaker 2: what they're talking about. But that'll be all over the
- 13:27Speaker 2: place tomorrow, So watch out for those. Hey, Letitia James,
- 13:33Speaker 2: you know, the first property with her mortgage fraud case,
- 13:38Speaker 2: she's got her niece living there. The niece is a
- 13:41Speaker 2: fugitive who jumped probation and ran. She absconded. She's a
- 13:46Speaker 2: wanted felon. Now the other house she's got, she's got
- 13:50Speaker 2: her relative living there. It's a family member. This one
- 13:54Speaker 2: is another criminal Letitia James crime family. This is her
- 13:59Speaker 2: grand niece, Kayla Thompson Yerston, who's an only fan star.
- 14:05Speaker 2: If you take a look at her pictures, you'll say,
- 14:07Speaker 2: oh my god, she's an onlyfan star. She's a public
- 14:10Speaker 2: X rated social media presence. But she's also another fugitive
- 14:16Speaker 2: charged in April twenty twenty four with lying about her
- 14:19Speaker 2: felony criminal record when trying to buy a gun. This
- 14:22Speaker 2: is another member of Leticia James family. She was disqualified
- 14:26Speaker 2: from owning a firearm due to a twenty twenty felony
- 14:29Speaker 2: charge of malicious wounding in Virginia, which is to find
- 14:35Speaker 2: as a crime where a person shoots, stabs, cuts her
- 14:37Speaker 2: wounds any person intent to maim or disfigure, or disable
- 14:43Speaker 2: or kill. This is her other family. Maybe, what the
- 14:44Speaker 2: hell kind of family is this? This Leticia James unbelievable. Hey,
- 14:49Speaker 2: the Al Smith dinner last night. Now, it wasn't one
- 14:52Speaker 2: of the big presidential years. Last year's Al Smith dinner.
- 14:55Speaker 2: We had President Trump there and all that, but it's
- 14:57Speaker 2: for a great cause for the Catholic Chair. He's the
- 15:00Speaker 2: Al Smith Dinner at the brand new, reopened Waldorf Ballroom.
- 15:04Speaker 2: After eight years, they finally reopened the Waldorf. It looks
- 15:08Speaker 2: a lot, well, a lot the same, but a lot different.
- 15:11Speaker 2: They've reconfigured things. I think the ballroom looked better before.
- 15:14Speaker 2: It's all kind of silver. Now take over my Instagram
- 15:17Speaker 2: you can see some pictures. Big crowd last night, Robert
- 15:21Speaker 2: Kraft getting a big award, bon Jovi presenting it. But
- 15:23Speaker 2: I've got you can see the pictures on my Instagram.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Go to Mark Simone NYC at Instagram. Mark Simone NYC
- 15:30Speaker 2: at Instagram. Hey, Barry Weiss, the new head of CBS News,
- 15:34Speaker 2: who's going to clean it up and make it fair
- 15:37Speaker 2: and balanced. She was there last night. Everybody given her
- 15:40Speaker 2: a big round of applause. But hey, we'll take some calls. Next.
- 15:43Speaker 2: Eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten is
- 15:46Speaker 2: the number. Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 15:51Speaker 2: Get instant access to Mark by setting a freeset in
- 15:55Speaker 2: the iHeartRadio app for his live show and his podcast.
- 15:59Speaker 2: Now back to the mars Amon Show on w o R. Hey,
- 16:04Speaker 2: let's take some calls. Let's go to uh Roger a
- 16:08Speaker 2: story of Queen's Roger, how you doing.
- 16:11Speaker 6: Good? How about you?
- 16:12Speaker 2: Let me check?
- 16:14Speaker 6: Not bad?
- 16:14Speaker 2: Not bad? What'd you want to say? Roger?
- 16:16Speaker 6: That's good? Yeah, a little bit of good news by
- 16:20Speaker 6: one poll.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Uh at last Stephonic, it looks like she's a point. Yeah,
- 16:28Speaker 2: we don't a poll. A poll wouldn't mean anything. It's
- 16:31Speaker 2: over a year away. Pole wouldn't me anything right now,
- 16:33Speaker 2: but it's that's next year, a year from now. We
- 16:37Speaker 2: hope she wins. But let's go to let's go to
- 16:41Speaker 2: Stuart in South Carolina. Stuart how you.
- 16:43Speaker 7: Doing, hey, Mark.
- 16:45Speaker 3: You know, anytime you hear any politician talking about sending
- 16:51Speaker 3: social workers with police off, you have to know they
- 16:54Speaker 3: have no clue what in the world they're talking about.
- 16:57Speaker 3: Any master's call can go back in seconds, I mean
- 17:01Speaker 3: turned deadly in seconds. That helster has to worry about
- 17:05Speaker 3: protecting the social worker and protecting himself in the absolute nightmare.
- 17:10Speaker 3: They have no clue what they're doing it any social
- 17:13Speaker 3: worker would have. Is that their minds to want to
- 17:15Speaker 3: do that.
- 17:15Speaker 2: No, No, they don't want to do it. They don't
- 17:17Speaker 2: want any part of that. But the good point Stewart,
- 17:20Speaker 2: that's another thing, not only as the social worker in danger,
- 17:23Speaker 2: but now the cops got to protect one more person. So,
- 17:27Speaker 2: as Ray Kelly has pointed out, nobody knows more about
- 17:30Speaker 2: the NYPD than he does. Through the decades, they have
- 17:33Speaker 2: tried this out a number of times, having social workers
- 17:36Speaker 2: respond to domestic violence. They have tried it out every
- 17:39Speaker 2: possible way, and it absolutely doesn't work. In fact, it's
- 17:45Speaker 2: extremely dangerous for the social worker and none of them
- 17:48Speaker 2: want to do this stuff. Let's go to uh, Let's
- 17:51Speaker 2: go to lou and Union, New Jersey. Lou, how you
- 17:53Speaker 2: doing your Mark?
- 17:55Speaker 6: Did you know that your guard who wants.
- 17:57Speaker 1: That's the way?
- 17:58Speaker 2: Oh? Yeah, no, I knew the guy Fred Smith. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 18:03Speaker 6: He had a two couple of hearts from the Vietnam
- 18:05Speaker 6: War and he was working about fifty billion dollars.
- 18:09Speaker 2: He had that much in his golf pants. He had
- 18:12Speaker 2: a lot of money. Now, he was a wonderful guy.
- 18:14Speaker 2: In fact, if you look at my Instagram, there's a
- 18:15Speaker 2: picture of us together from oh well, a couple months ago. Yeah.
- 18:19Speaker 2: Fred Smith a great guy. He started FedEx, he dreamed
- 18:23Speaker 2: up the whole thing, he built it. He had something
- 18:26Speaker 2: like eight hundred thousand employees. He was running the most
- 18:29Speaker 2: complex operation in the world. Let's go to at Vincent
- 18:33Speaker 2: and Brooklyn Vincent. What do you think.
- 18:36Speaker 6: I thought Kurtis did a very very good job last night.
- 18:40Speaker 6: I thought Bondami was an absolute fool when he was
- 18:45Speaker 6: talking about, oh, the poor prostitutes on Roosevelt Avenue. It
- 18:50Speaker 6: would be a double crime if we get to prostitute
- 18:54Speaker 6: people who were just holing to make a living. Well, hello, dude,
- 18:59Speaker 6: you're not talking about the fact that a lot of
- 19:01Speaker 6: these women are taken uber or lifts to get to
- 19:05Speaker 6: the point where they tricked and not only that you're
- 19:08Speaker 6: not talking about that, the fact that in this day
- 19:11Speaker 6: and age these people could be spreading venereal diseases. Stewart
- 19:16Speaker 6: from South Carolina is one hundred percent correct. And Curtis
- 19:22Speaker 6: pointed this out about the danger you're imposing upon a
- 19:27Speaker 6: social worker that has to go out with the empire RIPD.
- 19:32Speaker 6: I saw that in the fifties. Used they tried that
- 19:35Speaker 6: in the fifties. I remember there was a nut job
- 19:39Speaker 6: throwing stuff out the wind and a woman was out
- 19:41Speaker 6: of a bird, and on a Sunday, two cops and
- 19:46Speaker 6: two doctors came from Bellevue to put this woman in
- 19:51Speaker 6: a strait jacket. And thank god, it was only a
- 19:54Speaker 6: crazy woman who didn't have access to a gun or
- 19:58Speaker 6: something like that. Do it's right. They did away with
- 20:01Speaker 6: that a long time ago, and nobody oh Mandami were
- 20:08Speaker 6: citing as paradigms of district attorneys Alvin Bragg and Roberto
- 20:14Speaker 6: Gonzalez of Brooklyn, who were not prosecuting prostitution cases. Usually
- 20:21Speaker 6: these women who were involved in that are also involved
- 20:25Speaker 6: in other things. I better if you looked in their bag,
- 20:28Speaker 6: you're gonna find drugs. You might even find guns, knives,
- 20:32Speaker 6: or whatever. And what about the pimps who are controlling
- 20:37Speaker 6: these women? They're usually involved in other stuff. But this
- 20:41Speaker 6: is the answer we got from Mandami Oh, Eric Adamy,
- 20:46Speaker 6: Alvin Bragg, and Roberto Gonzales says it's a double crime
- 20:51Speaker 6: to prosecute these women. These women need job training, these
- 20:56Speaker 6: women need a knight in lock up. That's what they do.
- 21:00Speaker 2: Well, sounds like they've had both. But Vincent, great call,
- 21:03Speaker 2: great point, thanks for calling. I saw Eric Adams last
- 21:06Speaker 2: night at the Al Smith dinner. He looked he always
- 21:08Speaker 2: looks happy, but he looked much happier now, much much
- 21:12Speaker 2: happier to be totally out of this mess and not
- 21:14Speaker 2: have to be going through all of this right now. Hey,
- 21:18Speaker 2: when we come back, we'll talk to a Coulter. I hope,
- 21:20Speaker 2: I hope she knows we switched to Friday, but we'll
- 21:23Speaker 2: talk to her in a moment on seven to ten
- 21:25Speaker 2: wor the Mark.
- 21:27Speaker 3: Simone Show on sevenor.
- 21:32Speaker 2: Hey and Culter, the great columnist, the best selling author.
- 21:36Speaker 2: Make sure you follow her on Twitter. Also even better
- 21:39Speaker 2: at substack, where she's got her columns, He's got her interviews, podcasts, videos,
- 21:44Speaker 2: all sorts of stuff and culter Dot substack dot com
- 21:48Speaker 2: and culter. How you doing?
- 21:50Speaker 1: I have fantastic John Bolton has been indicted. How about
- 21:53Speaker 1: them apples?
- 21:54Speaker 2: Yeah? Boy, he was all over Trump yelling and screaming
- 21:58Speaker 2: way back when that tells classified documents, you got to
- 22:00Speaker 2: be convicted. You should go to jail. You should bet
- 22:03Speaker 2: he'd like to get back all that video, wouldn't he?
- 22:06Speaker 1: Yes, I think he might also want to get back. Well,
- 22:10Speaker 1: Trump ought to want to get back. Even hiring Bolton,
- 22:13Speaker 1: I mean, that was preposterous. It was one of the
- 22:15Speaker 1: most ridiculous things of term one. And Bolton is a
- 22:20Speaker 1: total neocon, wants to go to war every place all
- 22:23Speaker 1: the time. It was insane. It was completely contrary to
- 22:26Speaker 1: Trump's two thousand well, but.
- 22:28Speaker 2: He always explained the recently hired him was because he
- 22:30Speaker 2: was a warmonger, and it was just a scare of
- 22:32Speaker 2: ran scaredbody to see Bolton in the room.
- 22:36Speaker 1: It didn't seem to really scare them, but it should
- 22:38Speaker 1: have scared Trump in any event. The indictment, it's very different,
- 22:44Speaker 1: very different coverage on CNN and MSNBC. I suppose because
- 22:48Speaker 1: this prosecution was started under Joe Biden, and prosecutors under
- 22:53Speaker 1: Joe Biden described it as very troubling, and oh my gosh,
- 22:57Speaker 1: she does sound troubling. Thousands of classified documents to family
- 23:03Speaker 1: members who do not have security clearances, and then his
- 23:06Speaker 1: email gets hacked by Iran. So well, this if true,
- 23:13Speaker 1: this sounds like quite a case.
- 23:16Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm confused though. I thought that Democrats didn't like neokons.
- 23:20Speaker 2: This is the first neo kon they love, isn't it.
- 23:23Speaker 1: Uh, Basically, anyone who is against Trump they're going to like,
- 23:29Speaker 1: even if it is completely contrary to everything they've always
- 23:32Speaker 1: said and believed. I mean, you know, suddenly they love
- 23:37Speaker 1: human traffickers. That's a little kind of an odd position
- 23:42Speaker 1: for them. They will not give up on how much
- 23:45Speaker 1: they love transing children despite its overwhelming unpopularity, and in fact,
- 23:53Speaker 1: you know, thanks to probably in part Trump and the
- 23:56Speaker 1: American public, apparently these children trans operations and transitions have
- 24:03Speaker 1: plummeted in the last year. So that's good news. We
- 24:06Speaker 1: will someday look back on this period as something probably
- 24:13Speaker 1: you know, akin to Mengala, where the medical profession just
- 24:16Speaker 1: did something so hideously horrible, deforming and harming people, and
- 24:22Speaker 1: they did it for the money. I made a lot
- 24:25Speaker 1: of money on the transgender stuff.
- 24:27Speaker 2: Hey, yeah, and cult it. This is the everywhere all
- 24:29Speaker 2: over America tomorrow No Kings protest. What exactly is a
- 24:32Speaker 2: No King's protest? I'm not sure what they're protesting.
- 24:37Speaker 1: No, it doesn't make any sense. And it's a very
- 24:40Speaker 1: dumb name. I mean, I'd heard about it sort of
- 24:42Speaker 1: in the background. They did this once before. I mean
- 24:45Speaker 1: it sounds like, you know, six Kings Day. It doesn't
- 24:48Speaker 1: sound at all like usually Liberals are so good at
- 24:51Speaker 1: slogans and naming things. Boy, did they blow it here.
- 24:55Speaker 1: It makes no sense. It is not focused. No one
- 24:59Speaker 1: hears and thinks, oh, that must refer to Trump, which
- 25:03Speaker 1: I gather, like everything else they ever do, that they're
- 25:07Speaker 1: meaning to refer to Trump.
- 25:09Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 25:10Speaker 2: No, it's the silliest thing in the world. What did
- 25:12Speaker 2: Mike Johnson call it the Hate America rally tomorrow?
- 25:16Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 25:16Speaker 1: See, that's at least descriptive.
- 25:19Speaker 2: But is this the problem the Democrats have. They're so
- 25:21Speaker 2: busy resisting hating go after Trump, They've forgot to debate
- 25:25Speaker 2: issues and they're just not doing that anymore.
- 25:28Speaker 1: Yes, And I will say one thing that I will
- 25:32Speaker 1: give Trump enormous credit for. We've talked about government shutdowns before.
- 25:38Speaker 1: I've lived through a lot of government shutdowns in Washington,
- 25:41Speaker 1: and just as a political observer, I've never seen a
- 25:44Speaker 1: government shutdown that doesn't within like five minutes start hurting Republicans,
- 25:49Speaker 1: or at least that's what the media claims. Who knows,
- 25:52Speaker 1: we've never tried to say, nope, we're not capitulating. This
- 25:55Speaker 1: is the first time I can remember Republicans not immediately capitulating.
- 25:59Speaker 1: And boy, doesn't seem to have hurt them.
- 26:01Speaker 3: No. Uh.
- 26:03Speaker 2: In fact, you look at these rules, congressmen and women
- 26:07Speaker 2: still get paid, but the staff doesn't get paid. How
- 26:10Speaker 2: did that happen?
- 26:15Speaker 1: Yeah, that's that's not so good. They that's a that's
- 26:19Speaker 1: a bipartisan issue, is my guess. Except for a few
- 26:22Speaker 1: very principled individuals. I would assume like Thomas Massey and
- 26:26Speaker 1: a few others, you know, paying themselves is usually pretty bipartisan.
- 26:32Speaker 1: But I haven't checked, so maybe I shouldn't slan under
- 26:34Speaker 1: my side on that. But no, this is I mean,
- 26:38Speaker 1: I think a lot of us have been saying this
- 26:39Speaker 1: for a while that if you don't run scared from
- 26:42Speaker 1: from the media. Uh, and if your position is correct,
- 26:46Speaker 1: as it certainly is, here Democrats shutting down the government
- 26:51Speaker 1: so mostly so that illegals can get you know, the
- 26:54Speaker 1: subsidies and full health care. Well, that's that's fantastic. I
- 26:59Speaker 1: can't imagine they think that's going to be popular with Americans.
- 27:04Speaker 1: And this was, as John Fetterman, bless his heart, said yesterday,
- 27:09Speaker 1: this was in the original Democrat past bill, this sunset provision.
- 27:14Speaker 1: You're acting like Republicans have foisted this arm. No, it's
- 27:19Speaker 1: in the bill. So you're shutting down the government for
- 27:22Speaker 1: something you wrote into law and most Americans don't want.
- 27:28Speaker 1: So great.
- 27:29Speaker 2: Yeah, Hey, CBS News, they've brought in Barry Weiss to
- 27:33Speaker 2: straighten out CBS News, make it more balance, more fair.
- 27:36Speaker 2: You think that will actually work? Are we beginning a
- 27:40Speaker 2: new era of fair news?
- 27:43Speaker 6: Oh?
- 27:44Speaker 1: My gosh, I hope so. It seems it's always baffled
- 27:48Speaker 1: me since I wrote slander about how the media slanders
- 27:53Speaker 1: Republicans Willy nilly, I wondered why it would be so
- 27:57Speaker 1: so easy. You know, they have these these for the ratings.
- 28:00Speaker 1: It would be so easy for some network to say, Okay,
- 28:03Speaker 1: that's it, we're going to be fair and start stealing
- 28:06Speaker 1: voter or viewers. Have you been totally crush. Look at
- 28:11Speaker 1: Fox News, it's not even that good, but it gives
- 28:13Speaker 1: both sides. You can hear things you won't hear on
- 28:15Speaker 1: any other network. How about how about some other network
- 28:19Speaker 1: try that?
- 28:20Speaker 2: Yeah, how about some website try it?
- 28:22Speaker 1: And political websites do. I mean, this is why I'm
- 28:26Speaker 1: a huge defender of social media and I'm opposed to
- 28:29Speaker 1: these ridiculous attacks on Oh, get your children off their phones. No, no,
- 28:33Speaker 1: social media is the one place we can go to
- 28:36Speaker 1: get the truth. We certainly can't get it from TV news.
- 28:38Speaker 1: We can't get it from the major mainstream media. They
- 28:41Speaker 1: have foisted hoax after hoax after hoax on us, starting
- 28:46Speaker 1: with with Dan Rather and his claim about President George
- 28:51Speaker 1: Bush shirking his his his military service. Well, how is
- 28:55Speaker 1: that exposed social media?
- 28:57Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 28:58Speaker 1: This is I see why liberals to pretend, oh, this
- 29:00Speaker 1: is so bad for you, and in fact, the evidence
- 29:03Speaker 1: just by the way, I will be writing about this again,
- 29:05Speaker 1: but the evidence is quite to the contrary. These games
- 29:08Speaker 1: young men play, they are way better educational devices than
- 29:11Speaker 1: the public schools, way better.
- 29:13Speaker 2: Well that's not hard, I mean that's pretty.
- 29:18Speaker 1: Point.
- 29:20Speaker 5: Uh.
- 29:20Speaker 2: Hey, you know when you talk about the things that
- 29:23Speaker 2: are slanted. Okay, expected CBSABC, but something like Politico, you
- 29:27Speaker 2: wouldn't expect it to be so biased and so slanted.
- 29:31Speaker 2: What where do you go for a non partisan website?
- 29:35Speaker 2: Is there such a thing.
- 29:36Speaker 1: Yeah, that's funny you say that, I was just noticing that. Well,
- 29:39Speaker 1: of course you can come to and cultor dot Suvisac
- 29:42Speaker 1: dot com, Real Clear Politics, brightbart uh Daily Caller, and
- 29:50Speaker 1: now we have the American version of the UK Spectator,
- 29:53Speaker 1: which is spectacular and appears in magazine form.
- 29:57Speaker 3: You know.
- 29:57Speaker 1: See many magazines are very slick, attractive magazine they really smart,
- 30:00Speaker 1: great writers. And the Twitter Twitter, of course, Twitter, What
- 30:05Speaker 1: am I? How can I be forgetting about that?
- 30:08Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 30:08Speaker 1: Because you have the entire world searching for articles that
- 30:13Speaker 1: may be of interest to you. You find which people
- 30:15Speaker 1: to follow, who posts real articles that turn out to
- 30:18Speaker 1: be true, and who posts, you know, nonsense conspiracy theory.
- 30:21Speaker 1: So I mean, if you want to keep up with
- 30:23Speaker 1: the conspiracy theories, go ahead and follow them. But if
- 30:25Speaker 1: you don't, don't follow them. Twitter. I mean Twitter has
- 30:29Speaker 1: everything and has it immediately.
- 30:31Speaker 2: Yeah, it's still the best place for if you want
- 30:34Speaker 2: like instant reaction coverage whatever. Twitter is still the best place.
- 30:38Speaker 2: And what's that one? The liberals all use what's it
- 30:40Speaker 2: called blue Sky or something?
- 30:42Speaker 1: Yeah, I've heard of it, but mostly is a punchline.
- 30:45Speaker 1: I mean, this is such a sissy thing for liberals
- 30:49Speaker 1: to do. The original Twitter was so great back before
- 30:54Speaker 1: they had all these controls and shadow bands in because
- 30:58Speaker 1: because you could, it was brols and conservatives. Are you
- 31:02Speaker 1: talking to one another? You can tweak a New York
- 31:04Speaker 1: Times reporter? Why are they so afraid of debate even
- 31:08Speaker 1: online where they have time to think about what they're
- 31:10Speaker 1: saying and if they're they're you know, really triggered by
- 31:15Speaker 1: by jokes being told by by right wingers. Okay, don't
- 31:18Speaker 1: follow those right wingers. I've never understood why there should
- 31:22Speaker 1: be any censorship on Twitter. If you don't like what
- 31:25Speaker 1: someone's saying, if it's really that scary to you to
- 31:28Speaker 1: see another point of view, don't follow that person and
- 31:31Speaker 1: it won't show up in your feet.
- 31:33Speaker 2: Good point. Well, we're out of time, but everybody follow
- 31:36Speaker 2: and Culture on Twitter. Great stuff there, even better as substacks.
- 31:39Speaker 2: You's got columns and videos and podcasts and all sorts
- 31:42Speaker 2: of stuff. Go to and Culture dot substack dot com
- 31:46Speaker 2: and Culture dot substack dot com and culture. Thanks for
- 31:50Speaker 2: being with us.
- 31:51Speaker 1: Good to doctor Mark Simone by bye, take care.
- 31:54Speaker 2: Hey, don't forget Buck and Clay coming up at noon today.
- 31:57Speaker 6: Hey.
- 31:57Speaker 2: Also, if you can't listen to this show live, if
- 32:00Speaker 2: ten to noon doesn't work, you can listen to the
- 32:02Speaker 2: show anytime you want, day and night. Just get the
- 32:04Speaker 2: podcast wherever you get podcasts, and if you're listening to
- 32:07Speaker 2: the podcast on the weekends, you get a bonus segment.
- 32:11Speaker 2: It's like a whole other show there that isn't on
- 32:13Speaker 2: the air, so you can hear that too. But this
- 32:15Speaker 2: show the bonus segment wherever you get podcasts or otherwise
- 32:19Speaker 2: alive every day ten to noon, seven ten WR.
- 32:23Speaker 5: Mark Simoney's back on seventeen.
- 32:28Speaker 2: Well, John Bolton indicted. He has just surrendered himself a
- 32:32Speaker 2: little earlier this morning, not long ago. He has pled
- 32:37Speaker 2: not guilty. I don't know how he's going to get
- 32:39Speaker 2: away with that. Looks pretty guilty to me. They got
- 32:42Speaker 2: him on a lot of stuff. Here's President Trump.
- 32:45Speaker 6: I didn't know that.
- 32:46Speaker 1: You told me for the first time.
- 32:47Speaker 2: But I think he's a bad person.
- 32:50Speaker 8: I think he's a.
- 32:53Speaker 6: Bad guy.
- 32:53Speaker 2: Yeah, he's a bad guy, too bad.
- 32:55Speaker 7: But that's the way it goes.
- 32:57Speaker 2: That's the way it goes, right, Yes, but again he
- 33:01Speaker 2: was just begging to be made an example of when Trump,
- 33:05Speaker 2: when they accused him of taking classified documents, Bolton was
- 33:08Speaker 2: yelling and screaming against the crime of the century, the
- 33:10Speaker 2: worst thing in the world. And by the way, this
- 33:13Speaker 2: case against Bolton was started by Joe Biden. It started
- 33:16Speaker 2: under the Biden justice system. And this is not lawfair.
- 33:20Speaker 2: Lawfair is when you get indicted in four different cities
- 33:23Speaker 2: at the same time, you're on trial in four places
- 33:25Speaker 2: all at once. We'll see what happens. Hey, we're out
- 33:29Speaker 2: of time. I'll be back on Monday. Remember, if you
- 33:31Speaker 2: listen to the podcast, there's a bonus segment tonight and
- 33:34Speaker 2: over the weekend, so you'll get an extra segment just
- 33:37Speaker 2: for you podcast listeners. Otherwise, I'll see a Monday right here,
- 33:41Speaker 2: ten to noon, seven w
