- 0:00America, we are back, baby. Welcome to another episode of
- 0:02America Unfiltered with James Pascalades.
- 0:05We're going to dive right into our topics today, but before we
- 0:07do, I want to introduce something new to the show.
- 0:10We're going to be doing a book of the week every week.
- 0:12It will be the book that I am reading that week and something
- 0:14that I would like to recommend to my guest to read as well if I
- 0:17find it worthy to be recommended.
- 0:19This book right here, The Courage to be Free by Ron de
- 0:22Santis. It is his memoir.
- 0:24It is a very good book. I'm almost done with it.
- 0:27I encourage all my readers to go check it out.
- 0:29I love Rhonda Santis, he keeps Florida to be one of the last
- 0:32free states in America. But to dive right on into
- 0:35everything, let's go right for it.
- 0:37At the June 2025 NATO Summit, President Donald Trump did what
- 0:41no other U.S. President had the guts to do.
- 0:43He forced Europe to stop freeloading off the American
- 0:46taxpayer. For decades, NATO allies ignored
- 0:49spending targets, let their militaries wrought, and expected
- 0:52the United States military to just carry the load.
- 0:54That ended the moment Donald Trump landed at the NATO summit.
- 0:58After months of pressure, Trump got NATO to agree to a historic
- 1:02new standard, 5% of GDP on defense spending by 2035 from
- 1:06every country. That's not just the old 2% lip
- 1:09service goal from Obama era politics.
- 1:12This is a major escalation. 3.5% must go directly to core defense
- 1:16ships, missiles, aircraft, troops, and 1.5% to defense
- 1:20adjacent infrastructure like roads, cybersecurity, homeland
- 1:24resilience. In other words, real money for
- 1:27real military capabilities, not hollow bureaucracy and waste,
- 1:30fraud and abuse. Trump demanded these and he got
- 1:34them. He even made sure the deal was
- 1:36legally binding for every country except for Spain, which
- 1:38buckled under pressure and negotiated A carve out.
- 1:41Annual national plans will now be submitted and reviewed with
- 1:44progress reports due by 2029. No more vague pledges.
- 1:49Every country will have to show their receipts to Donald Trump
- 1:52in the United States, taxpayer. And he didn't just stop there.
- 1:55Trump made it pretty clear that European countries can raise
- 1:58their budgets or face consequences.
- 2:00He floated tariffs, trade restrictions, military pull
- 2:04backs if allies did not pay their fair share.
- 2:06And it worked. Within days, the EU adjusted
- 2:09fiscal rules to allow countries to overspend their budget limits
- 2:12to meet the 5% goal. The bloc also created €150
- 2:16billion arms fund. The message was clear.
- 2:19NATO is no longer a charity, it's a contract.
- 2:22While the global press talked about diplomacy and unity, Trump
- 2:26focused on results. He called the agreement a
- 2:28massive win for America and the American taxpayer.
- 2:31And he's right. If every country had hit the 5%
- 2:34mark in 2024, NATO would have spent 1.75 trillion, a $450
- 2:39billion increase, and much of that will be spent on US
- 2:42weapons, technology and defense manufacturing.
- 2:46Trump did not just strengthen NATO, he created a pipeline to
- 2:48pour European money into American industry.
- 2:51For years, Trump warned NATO was weak, bloated and falling
- 2:55behind. And now it's finally turning
- 2:57into what it should have been all along.
- 2:59A real, serious alliance where everyone will pay their dues and
- 3:03America doesn't get played. America didn't just attend the
- 3:06NATO summit. We reshaped the entire thing.
- 3:09It restructured the global balance of power, the 5% defense
- 3:13commitment he secured as the largest Western military
- 3:16mobilization since World War 2. And the real story isn't just
- 3:19the size of the investment, it's what the investment represents,
- 3:23the total dominance of American leadership and leverage under
- 3:26Donald Trump. All of these things will be
- 3:28manufactured in America by American companies.
- 3:31So let's break this down. Military turning NATO into AUS
- 3:35backhammer. NATO's new force posture is no
- 3:38longer symbolic. High readiness forces are being
- 3:42rapidly expanded, with hundreds of billions redirected to real
- 3:45hardware. Tanks, missiles, warships,
- 3:48drones, hypersonics, air defense.
- 3:50NATO is modernizing to fight 21st century wars, and it's
- 3:54doing so using American weapons, American defense systems.
- 3:58That means more U.S. jobs, US exports, and American made
- 4:01technology embedded across all of Europe's defense landscape.
- 4:05Every ally is now going to be stockpiling ammunition,
- 4:08investing in air and missile defense, and hardening cyber
- 4:11networks. And much of this spending will
- 4:13flow directly to Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, General
- 4:17Dynamics and Boeing. Trump didn't just force NATO to
- 4:20rearm, he turned Europe into the newest customer base for US
- 4:24defense and manufacturing. This is America first foreign
- 4:27policy in action. Our allies get stronger while
- 4:30our industries will grow way richer.
- 4:32Ukraine too benefits under this realignment.
- 4:35Trump NATO has formally stated Ukraine's defense contributes to
- 4:38ours, which is code for ramping up weapons deliveries and
- 4:41surveillance systems without dragging America into an
- 4:44open-ended war. NATO countries now count Ukraine
- 4:47aid toward their defense quotas, A loophole Trump quietly
- 4:51supported because it means Europe foots more of the bill.
- 4:54Some of the economic impacts are Europe pays the tab, America
- 4:58reaps the rewards. So let's be blunt about it.
- 5:00Europe can't afford this without pain.
- 5:02They're drowning in welfare. Their economies and aging
- 5:06populations are going down the hole.
- 5:08Now they're being forced to reallocate hundreds of billions
- 5:11annually into defense spending, its tax hikes, spending cuts or
- 5:16deficit explosions, all of it politically costly.
- 5:19But they agreed anyway. Why?
- 5:21Because Donald Trump left them no other option.
- 5:23The EU had to bend their knee. Brussels rewrote its fiscal
- 5:26rules to allow member states to blow past deficit caps by up to
- 5:301.5% of GDP just to meet Trump's 5% target.
- 5:35Germany, France, Italy and others are now scrambling to
- 5:38fund military programs they delayed for decades. the US
- 5:41economy will get a major boost from this.
- 5:43This is a huge win for the United States.
- 5:45Trump insisted European allies prioritize American made
- 5:48systems. He met with Zalenski as well
- 5:51during the summit to discuss Co producing drones, each using US
- 5:55tech. He pushed for European spending
- 5:57to be tied directly to purchases from US defense sector and his
- 6:01administration made clear if you want American protection, you
- 6:04buy American weapons. That strength based diplomacy
- 6:08realigning the entire W around strength.
- 6:10NATO under Trump isn't the same old club of bureaucrats, think
- 6:13tanks and wine and cheese summits.
- 6:16It's becoming a leaner, meaner American LED security machine.
- 6:21Every major European leader left the summit echoing Trump's
- 6:24demands. In Britain, they called Trump a
- 6:27reliable partner. Dutch said Trump made NATO
- 6:30stronger, fairer and more lethal.
- 6:32And even France, usually the loudest critic, admitted this
- 6:35was a new chapter. the United States did not bend to NATO.
- 6:39NATO bent to the United States. They bent to the American
- 6:42taxpayer. And some legacy media outlets
- 6:44tried to frame the summit as controversial, saying Trump's
- 6:48tone upset allies. Who cares?
- 6:50Results speak louder than tone. The reality is Trump extracted
- 6:54more real commitment from NATO in one week than Biden, Obama
- 6:57and Bush did in 20 years combined.
- 6:59He used leverage, trade pressure, budget threats, even
- 7:02the implicit suggestion that America could just walk away.
- 7:05And he got everything he wanted. And that's negotiating from a
- 7:08point of strength and leverage. Spain was the lone holdout as
- 7:12well. Pedro Sanchez negotiated a 2.1%
- 7:15floor and spun it as still meeting capability needs.
- 7:19That's fine for them. Spain is going to be sidelined
- 7:21by the United States anyway. Trump made it clear this is a
- 7:24coalition of the serious, not the soft.
- 7:26Even domestically, Democrats tried to downplay Trump's win,
- 7:30but they couldn't stop the headlines.
- 7:32Republican leaders hailed the deal as proof that Trump gets
- 7:35things done. The White House dropped a recap
- 7:37video set to music highlighting Trump's dominance.
- 7:40It was a victory lap. And guess what?
- 7:42Donald Trump earned it. The Trump doctrine becomes NATO
- 7:45policy. No president in NATO's history,
- 7:48not Truman, not Reagan, not Bush, has forced a structural
- 7:51shift this massive. The old 2% goal was set in 2014
- 7:55and it was mainly ignored. So by 2024, only 22 out of 32
- 7:59countries even hit that mark. Trump tossed it aside and
- 8:02demanded 5%. He got it.
- 8:04This is the largest Western military spending surge since
- 8:07World War 2. It formalizes the doctrine
- 8:10Trump's pushed since 2016 that allies must carry their own
- 8:13weight, pay their own dues, and stop mooching off the United
- 8:16States taxpayer. Now it's enshrined in NATO
- 8:18policy. This wasn't just a summit.
- 8:20It was a entire realignment of the Western world, a turning
- 8:23point. NATO now looks less like a
- 8:26welfare club and more like a coalition of actual serious
- 8:29nations led by America that's proud, strong and unapologetic
- 8:34from Donald Trump. And with that, the NATO summit
- 8:36wasn't just a foreign policy win.
- 8:38It was a blueprint for how Donald Trump is going to assert
- 8:41himself in Foreign Relations across the entire world.
- 8:45He didn't ask for consensus. He demanded results.
- 8:47He doesn't wait. He forces action.
- 8:50And when he says America leads, the rest of the world listens or
- 8:53gets left behind. While Trump was restructuring
- 8:56the global order back here at home, Florida was quietly
- 8:59building something just as crazy, something that's already
- 9:02making headlines across the country.
- 9:04They're calling it it Alligator Alcatraz.
- 9:07And it might be one of the boldest, craziest things they're
- 9:10doing in immigration, but I love it.
- 9:12This is happening in the Everglades, where Florida
- 9:14officials have launched what's being called Alligator Alcatraz,
- 9:18a remote detention facility deep in the swamp built to house
- 9:21criminal illegal immigrants awaiting deportation.
- 9:24It's not a hypothetical plan. This is underway.
- 9:27It's in Dade Collier County. It's at the abandoned airport, a
- 9:31Cold War airstrip surrounded by 30 plus square miles of
- 9:35marshland and protected wildlife.
- 9:37The Attorney General for Florida announced the project personally
- 9:40highlighting the natural deterrence.
- 9:42Alligators, pythons, Panthers. The swamp itself acts as a
- 9:46security perimeter with no new buildings, roads or sewer
- 9:49infrastructure. The entire setup relies on
- 9:51tents, generators and trailers. It's a fully mobile tent city
- 9:55designed for one purpose, to isolate and to hold the
- 9:58dangerous non citizens away from populated areas.
- 10:02Construction for it began in late June less than a week ago
- 10:06and it was approved for federal approval just a week before that
- 10:10by Kristi Noem. Under the Trump administration,
- 10:13Florida's division of Emergency Management mobilized crews
- 10:16immediately bringing in heavy trucks portable facilities.
- 10:19The goal is speed. They say the site will be
- 10:22operational by early July with up to 1000 beds within 30 to 60
- 10:26days. It's part of a broader state LED
- 10:28strategy, including a second facility at Camp Blanding aiming
- 10:32to US 5000 more criminal migrants across multiple sites
- 10:36by the end of the summer. And like everything else in
- 10:382025, liberals are freaking out about it.
- 10:41I love this. I think this is something that
- 10:43will keep Americans in Floridian safer.
- 10:46And it's actually hilarious as well.
- 10:48And anyone like me who's been to the Everglades before, you know,
- 10:52that could be pretty, pretty dangerous for them to try and
- 10:54escape there. If you're in that prison that's
- 10:56not going to be 1 you're going to try and escape from because
- 10:58basically Florida Panther head on or a Burmese Python or a 12
- 11:03foot alligator who's a little hungry that day is not fun.
- 11:06Security is as taxpayer friendly as possible too.
- 11:10There's no walls or razor wire, just hinge trailers and the
- 11:14Everglades own apex predators. There are some people who would
- 11:18think, oh, it's not going to be that bad of a deal.
- 11:20I'm just going to try and run again.
- 11:22Try running from a Florida Panther, See how that works for
- 11:25you. The Trump aligned Department of
- 11:27Homeland Security, also led by Christy Gnome, gave rapid
- 11:30approval and FEMA dollars to this site.
- 11:32ICE will be responsible for delivering the detainees there,
- 11:36drawn primarily from those with criminal convictions or pending
- 11:39charges under federal immigration law.
- 11:41Early reports suggested that the National Guard will also
- 11:44supplement on the ground operations, providing personnel
- 11:47logistics support for. It is essentially A federally
- 11:50funded state-run ICE facility. Again, This is why I love Collar
- 11:54County is why I love Florida. It is time that the American
- 11:56taxpayer take those dollars back and spend them on things that
- 11:59actually need to happen like this, like locking up these
- 12:02illegal immigrants and and social media clips have really
- 12:06racked up millions of views. The facility was jokingly
- 12:09described as Shawshank Meet Jurassic Park.
- 12:11This is the return of real deterrence to illegal
- 12:14immigration. This is the way you scare them
- 12:16from coming in the country. If you come in this country and
- 12:18you get arrested, you will be surrounded by alligators,
- 12:21pythons and Panthers. That is a scary thought.
- 12:24I would not break into a country if I knew that I wouldn't break
- 12:27into a country regardless because I follow the law and I
- 12:30don't appreciate breaking other countries laws and I respect
- 12:33other countries laws. That's the same reason I
- 12:36wouldn't go smoke weed in Russia.
- 12:38Same reason I wouldn't just walk into North Korea.
- 12:41But this is the start of real deterrence.
- 12:43This is the start of America getting what we voted for.
- 12:46This is the start of the mass deportations, the mass arrests
- 12:50of the invasion that the Biden Harris regime allowed to pour
- 12:53in. They overwhelmed their public
- 12:55school systems and public services.
- 12:57They took tax dollars from my pocket, from your pocket, and
- 13:00from all the American people. They wasted FEMA's dollars.
- 13:04And like I've talked about, FEMA has not even filed claims from
- 13:06Katrina and from Fort Myers hurricane in the last few years.
- 13:10FEMA is a corrupt agency and it's time we're able to take
- 13:12those dollars back and spend them on things that actually
- 13:15help the American people, like getting rid of illegal
- 13:18immigrants in our country. It brings us to our next topic,
- 13:20a story that's quietly ripped the conservative influencer
- 13:23ecosystem wide open, the recent wave of paid attacks on Tucker
- 13:27Carlson and Candace Owens. And we'll look at who's funding
- 13:30them, who's speaking out, and what it says about the new
- 13:32political machine reshaping right wing media from the
- 13:34inside. So let's go hold this out.
- 13:36What it really is, it's propaganda, it's money
- 13:39laundering. That's what these micro
- 13:40influencers are doing when political campaigns, both
- 13:43Democrat and Republican, cut checks to social media.
- 13:46Nobodies to regurgitate the same pre approved talking points in
- 13:50pretty much perfect. These aren't real voices rising
- 13:53from the people, they're paid actors pretending to be
- 13:55grassroots and it's poisoning political discourse in this
- 13:58country. You've got these influencers
- 14:00with 10,000 and maybe 100,000 followers getting handed from
- 14:03500 to 5000 to mimic a post. Whatever the party wants them to
- 14:08say. If they want to say Trump's bad,
- 14:11If they want to say Trump's good.
- 14:12But this week they have been ganging up on Candace Owens and
- 14:15Tucker Carlson. And guess what?
- 14:17You'll never see it in their bio.
- 14:19You won't see it in these people's posts that they're paid
- 14:22ads or partnered content. You'll think that these are
- 14:25their actual beliefs if you don't actually understand that
- 14:28there are companies who pay people to just say these things.
- 14:32Shell companies, political action companies, ad agencies,
- 14:36middle men to evade the disclosure laws.
- 14:38They're flooding your feed with political content that's
- 14:40manufactured, rehearsed design to look authentic, and it's all
- 14:44fake. And then when Washington Post
- 14:46admits to millions are being funneled into these operations
- 14:49with scant regulatory oversight, that should terrify literally
- 14:54everybody. It's not marketing.
- 14:55It's narrative control and propaganda.
- 14:57It's the weaponization of social media algorithms and Democrats
- 15:02really lead the way in these corrupt practices and they're
- 15:05proud of it. They don't hide it at all.
- 15:07They constantly, you saw Democrats, 22 of them posted the
- 15:10exact same video and those were all senators and congressmen.
- 15:13The Democrats have taken the blueprint for cultural
- 15:15subversion and scaled it to the 9th degree.
- 15:18Biden's favorite super PAC bragged about paying 150
- 15:22influencers close to 1,000,000 just to span your TikTok and
- 15:25Instagram feeds with Vote Blue and save democracy slogans.
- 15:30They even branded it as a creator program like the running
- 15:32a Netflix pitch room or something.
- 15:35Next Gen. Action is another leftist pack.
- 15:37They spent 2,000,000 on digital outreach.
- 15:40Hundreds of paid protesters flooding social media with
- 15:43rehearsed talking points. Notice these accounts never
- 15:45mentioned he's paying them. No disclaimers, no ethics, just
- 15:49pure manufactured content. This is the modern left.
- 15:52They don't win debates, they don't win on policy.
- 15:55They sure as hell don't win the hearts of Americans.
- 15:58They buy them. They carpet bomb your kids for
- 16:00you pages with government funded propaganda, influencers reciting
- 16:04state sanctioned scripts, and because it's chopped up like
- 16:07meme content most people never even realize it.
- 16:10And the right does it too. Again, it's not just the left
- 16:13but they do it with less strategy.
- 16:15Conservatives are one of the biggest and worst parts of this.
- 16:17Conservative influencers will target other conservative
- 16:20influencers. Like I said, people going at
- 16:23Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens right now.
- 16:25And it's mainly people in the conservative base saying they
- 16:27hate America. That they've gone back on
- 16:29everything they used to stand for and that they are just lost.
- 16:32And that they're propagandists. But in reality, the people who
- 16:35are being paid to push these message are obviously the real
- 16:38propagandists. This is why the America First
- 16:40movement is so good and so simple.
- 16:43We don't need scripts, we don't need handlers, and we sure as
- 16:45hell don't need to be bribed to stand up for this country.
- 16:48The people pushing this movement do it because we believe in it,
- 16:51not because of a super PAC or because of a payout.
- 16:54We believe that Americans should be first in America, that our
- 16:58government has a duty to protect and serve us plus over foreign
- 17:02citizens, that our tax dollars should not be wasted, and that
- 17:04we should get a say in the way our tax dollars are spent.
- 17:07Our tax dollars are being wasted.
- 17:09It's waste, fraud, and abuse. They're literally spending our
- 17:11tax dollars to see how much alcohol you have to give a
- 17:14Japanese quail until it has sex with another one.
- 17:16Or if you give a fish tequila or rum, what will make it fight
- 17:19more? Or if you chop a beagle's head
- 17:21off, what will another Beagle do?
- 17:23These are the things our government is literally funding.
- 17:26When you see someone talking about God, family, borders, and
- 17:29sovereignty on their timeline and it actually sounds like they
- 17:31mean it, they're not reading off a paycheck.
- 17:33We're in this because we have to be.
- 17:35Because this country is being eaten alive by corporate funded
- 17:38phonies cosplaying as patriots and activists.
- 17:41This influencer program is bigger than just politics.
- 17:44It's a full blown crisis and if we don't start exposing the fake
- 17:47ecosystem on both sides, we'll lose the country to scripted
- 17:50shills. 1 post at a time. Coordinated smear campaigns, The
- 17:54Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson allegations just show how rotten
- 17:59the system is truly gotten. It shouldn't be that hard to
- 18:01just get back to a common sense America where we're not paying
- 18:05influencers to repeat points they don't mean, Where we're not
- 18:08paying people to spread misinformation about other
- 18:10people just because you don't like them.
- 18:11But we're not allowing foreign lobbyists to infiltrate our
- 18:14government. Where we're not allowing other
- 18:15countries to take advantage of us, Where we're not allowing
- 18:18illegals to break over our border and not expect
- 18:21consequences. These are America First
- 18:24policies. These are basic common sense
- 18:26policies in America. We need to put Americans first.
- 18:29American taxpayers first. American citizens first.
- 18:32Not the citizens of other countries.
- 18:34Not asylum seekers who violated our sovereignty and abused the
- 18:38asylum program. Not the terrorists.
- 18:41Not anyone who's not American. We need to be supporting
- 18:44Americans. We need to be supporting
- 18:46American infrastructure, American jobs, American economy,
- 18:49no new wars in foreign nations, and we need to support American
- 18:53sovereignty. That means deporting the
- 18:55illegals, setting up these jails like Alligator Alcatraz, and
- 18:59removing the Twitter bots on Twitter who are literally taking
- 19:03money to push propaganda. That should be a huge problem
- 19:06and something that is illegal in politics in this country.
- 19:09If you took out all forms of lobbying in politics, you would
- 19:13see a lot less people would go into politics because there
- 19:15would be a lot less corrupt people who want to get in the
- 19:18industry. A lot of people get into
- 19:19politics because they know how corrupt it is and because they
- 19:22know they can get rich. If you take lobbying out of it
- 19:25and that's not able to happen, then there will be a lot better
- 19:28people who want to get into politics.
- 19:30And not only that, we'll see better outcomes of politics
- 19:33because we won't have foreign nations and we won't have these
- 19:36undercover companies who are posing as lobbyists trying to
- 19:40push their agenda to the political party that they're
- 19:43throwing money at. You can't throw 100 million to a
- 19:46candidate so that we will go defend you in a war.
- 19:48But that's exactly what happened with Israel.
- 19:50They also threw 100 million towards Kamala in case she got
- 19:53elected. These are things in our
- 19:55government that need to be rooted out immediately.
- 19:57These are problems in our government that if they're not
