- 0:00Speaker 1: Now this is the Mark Simon Show on sevent tenor.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Well, it's the big night tonight, the Big Game New York.
- 0:14Speaker 2: We'll get to the President's visit and the Knicks and
- 0:16Speaker 2: a whole lot more. We'll get to the most delusional,
- 0:21Speaker 2: self important, pompous ascid in history, Scott Pelley embarrassing the
- 0:27Speaker 2: hell out of himself with this bizarre interview. We'll get
- 0:31Speaker 2: to that, and then we'll get to President Trump versus
- 0:33Speaker 2: a Kristen Welker, who was right? Who was wrong? We'll
- 0:37Speaker 2: get to crazy Mom Donnie. We'll get to Delaney Hall.
- 0:40Speaker 2: It's been inspected top to bottom. The truth is now
- 0:44Speaker 2: coming out. We'll get to California and Platner and more.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Stock market doing nicely today. Everything is up. There was
- 0:53Speaker 2: a sell off at Nasdaq. There was a sell off
- 0:56Speaker 2: in chip stocks on Friday. Now, I remember these chip
- 0:59Speaker 2: stocks like Mike Crown and other Micron had been up
- 1:01Speaker 2: like four so it's not surprising that would suddenly be
- 1:07Speaker 2: profit taking. And then there's a few other factors. Part
- 1:10Speaker 2: of that selloff was freeing up money for SpaceX, the IPO,
- 1:16Speaker 2: which is coming this Friday. This is going to be
- 1:18Speaker 2: the biggest IPO ever in the history of the world.
- 1:21Speaker 2: SpaceX becoming a public stock. The price has been set
- 1:26Speaker 2: at one hundred and thirty five dollars, but you'll have
- 1:28Speaker 2: to get in before the market opens to get that price.
- 1:32Speaker 2: Institutions will get a top buyers will get it one
- 1:34Speaker 2: hundred and thirty five dollars. Then it'll open on the
- 1:36Speaker 2: market and go absolutely insane. Expected to hit two hundred,
- 1:42Speaker 2: four hundred, five hundred by the time you can actually
- 1:45Speaker 2: buy it online. No buy it through a broker, but
- 1:49Speaker 2: a lot of money is being freed up to spend
- 1:52Speaker 2: on that. On Friday, so the knixt tonight, big, big, big,
- 1:57Speaker 2: big Game three tonight, President Trump will be there. He
- 2:00Speaker 2: spent the weekend in Bedminster, New Jersey for the first
- 2:04Speaker 2: time in a long time, so he'll be coming in
- 2:07Speaker 2: probably by helicopter. Manhattan around anywhere around the Garden Midtown
- 2:12Speaker 2: will be an absolute traffic nightmare with the President coming in,
- 2:19Speaker 2: coming and leaving, although leaving will be late, it shouldn't
- 2:22Speaker 2: be that much of a traffic problem. But because the
- 2:25Speaker 2: President is coming to the game, first time a president
- 2:28Speaker 2: has ever been in an NBA Championship. Because he'll be there,
- 2:32Speaker 2: security is unbelievable. At tonight's game, it will be TSA
- 2:37Speaker 2: style security. Everybody will get searched, frisk padded down ano.
- 2:41Speaker 2: They're saying there's a strict no bag policy, and that
- 2:45Speaker 2: means no bags, that means no purses. I don't care
- 2:48Speaker 2: how small it is. They say no purses will be
- 2:50Speaker 2: allowed in. And if you're coming to the game, which
- 2:53Speaker 2: starts at eight thirty, you have to get there before
- 2:56Speaker 2: six thirty, so it'll take two hours to check everybody in.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Not only no bags, but they're saying limit whatever items
- 3:06Speaker 2: you have in your pockets to as few as possible,
- 3:09Speaker 2: just bare minimum, so before you again. First time a
- 3:14Speaker 2: president has come, I guess of course he'll stay through
- 3:17Speaker 2: the whole game. He can't leave the middle of the game.
- 3:19Speaker 2: But it'll be in the luxury suite of James Dolan,
- 3:24Speaker 2: which should have a lot of notables there that he
- 3:27Speaker 2: can hang out with and talk to. And this is
- 3:30Speaker 2: President Trump on the Knicks. Well, I'll be.
- 3:32Speaker 3: Going to game three.
- 3:33Speaker 1: I guess it's Game three on Monday.
- 3:35Speaker 2: I thought it was amazing.
- 3:36Speaker 1: I think that I think the Knicks have an amazing team.
- 3:39Speaker 1: The way they played started off slow and it just
- 3:42Speaker 1: got strong or strong.
- 3:44Speaker 2: Yeah, pretty amazing game, winning by one point Friday Night.
- 3:49Speaker 2: Exciting ending to the game.
- 3:54Speaker 4: Fox gets it, bridges on him four seconds Fox one
- 4:00Speaker 4: Bao pulls up, jump up, won't go readbound tuk Aby,
- 4:03Speaker 4: but sell it's over. It's over. The NIXT survive. This
- 4:10Speaker 4: mount a corporate ride continues.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Now, there's no team in NBA history in the Championship
- 4:16Speaker 2: that lost the first two games at home and then
- 4:19Speaker 2: came back to win. So we'll see, we'll see. So
- 4:22Speaker 2: the watch party outside the garden has been canceled because
- 4:25Speaker 2: the President will be close by. The watch parties will
- 4:29Speaker 2: take place other places Woman Rink, Bryant Park, that sort
- 4:34Speaker 2: of stuff. But stay home and watch it. Best way
- 4:36Speaker 2: to watch it. So President Trump a big interview on
- 4:41Speaker 2: Meet the Press yesterday. This Kristen Welker, who's not a
- 4:46Speaker 2: good interviewer. He's not a great host. You know, I
- 4:51Speaker 2: think I'm the only one that still watches these Sunday shows.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Very few people watch these Sunday shows. And I don't
- 4:56Speaker 2: know why I still watch it. I just I guess.
- 4:58Speaker 2: I think I don't know the Maybe Tim Russell will
- 5:02Speaker 2: come back, or David Brinkley or Sam Donaldson. Remember these
- 5:05Speaker 2: great Sunday shows. You remember the ABC Sunday Morning Show
- 5:09Speaker 2: was David Brinkley, Sam Donaldson, Kochi Roberts, and George will
- 5:14Speaker 2: It was the most learned, thoughtful, highbrow, classy show on television.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Tim Russert was the host of Meet the Press. It
- 5:23Speaker 2: was phenomenal. He would ask the toughest questions of both sides,
- 5:27Speaker 2: and he would do follow ups but politely. And all
- 5:31Speaker 2: of that is gone, all of that is long gone.
- 5:34Speaker 2: And now you got low lives like Jonathan carl and
- 5:39Speaker 2: Martha Radditts. Once in a while, a couple times a year,
- 5:43Speaker 2: George Stephanoppolis shows up. And then on Meet the Press
- 5:47Speaker 2: you got Kristen Welker's angry, vicious, biased left winger and
- 5:52Speaker 2: not that bright. And then of course on Face the Nation,
- 5:58Speaker 2: I don't know, for a million dollars, nobody could tell
- 5:59Speaker 2: you who that woman is Unfaced the Nation, I want
- 6:04Speaker 2: to say, Margaret, I don't know. Somebody hosts Face the Nation.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Nobody even knows anymore. But you know, Trump is kind
- 6:13Speaker 2: of he's so old school that he still believes in
- 6:17Speaker 2: Time Magazine, Meet the Press. You know, these great institutions
- 6:21Speaker 2: of the past. I don't think he wants to admit,
- 6:24Speaker 2: same thing with me. You just don't want to admit
- 6:26Speaker 2: they're long gone, they don't exist anymore. There's no reason
- 6:30Speaker 2: to go on Meet the Press. It's a tiny audience.
- 6:32Speaker 2: It's an idiotic, corrupt host. There's no it's not Tim
- 6:36Speaker 2: Russard anymore. There's no reason to be on Meet the Press.
- 6:40Speaker 2: But again, he's an old school guy Meet the Press.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Still talks to Time magazine. But Kristin Walker, who's not
- 6:48Speaker 2: a good interviewer, she's you know, it's one thing to
- 6:51Speaker 2: be a reporter an anchor, but to be an interview
- 6:54Speaker 2: you got to be very conversational. It loosens up the guests.
- 6:58Speaker 2: You can't bang away a questions, you know, reading them
- 7:01Speaker 2: off a clipboard, and you know, what do you say?
- 7:03Speaker 2: Why do you blub blah blah. You can't talk like that.
- 7:05Speaker 2: You know, when you do an interview, you got to
- 7:07Speaker 2: make a conversational You gotta just you know, gently get
- 7:11Speaker 2: stuff out of the guests. She doesn't know how to
- 7:12Speaker 2: do that, and she's rude, viciously rude. So it was
- 7:16Speaker 2: done in Wisconsin. Trump was there for Department of Agriculture
- 7:20Speaker 2: event brook Rollins. They found like a big barn, but
- 7:25Speaker 2: like a metal roof. The White House chose the location
- 7:29Speaker 2: from what I hear, and NBC was allowed to come
- 7:32Speaker 2: set up in there beforehand. So he shows up to
- 7:35Speaker 2: do the interview. It starts to rain, and it is
- 7:38Speaker 2: pounding rain, and it's a metal roof, so the sound
- 7:41Speaker 2: inside was so loud, and it was a vicious thunderstorm,
- 7:47Speaker 2: just pounding rain, and it got so loud you couldn't
- 7:51Speaker 2: hear each other. So they had to stop a few times.
- 7:54Speaker 2: And then another time they're going to stop, and Trump
- 7:56Speaker 2: goes out, let's just power through. Let's just go through this.
- 7:59Speaker 2: But he spent an hour interviewing, doing the interview an hour.
- 8:03Speaker 2: A couple of times they paused for five minutes. But
- 8:05Speaker 2: for the President the United States to give you an
- 8:07Speaker 2: hour of his time, that's a lot. And then she's
- 8:10Speaker 2: just getting rude er and rude er and ruder. She's
- 8:13Speaker 2: always interrupting him.
- 8:14Speaker 1: It was a dirty election. This is happening again right
- 8:17Speaker 1: now in California, right now, in California, right now, it's
- 8:23Speaker 1: looking look at what's happened in California. It's in California.
- 8:28Speaker 1: It's well they're not there. They're dropping fast because it's
- 8:31Speaker 1: a rigged election.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Yeah, first of all, she has absolutely no evidence. It's
- 8:36Speaker 2: not rigged. You can keep yelling at him you have
- 8:39Speaker 2: no evidence. Well, she has no evidence either. Also, remember
- 8:42Speaker 2: he is the president of the United States, and he's
- 8:43Speaker 2: got a handful of Department of Justice lawyers on the
- 8:47Speaker 2: ground in California already investigating this. I mean, is there evidence, Well,
- 8:53Speaker 2: the main evidence is that since you're doing these uh,
- 8:57Speaker 2: these mail ins, the ones that came after the election,
- 9:00Speaker 2: it's statistically impossible what's happening in the mail in. I mean,
- 9:05Speaker 2: we saw the bulk of the voting, and we see
- 9:08Speaker 2: what the percentages are. Now, they could vary a little
- 9:11Speaker 2: in the mail in, but they're the total, complete opposite
- 9:14Speaker 2: in the mail in. That's impossible, statistically impossible. It can't happen.
- 9:19Speaker 2: It's absolutely ridiculous. And why, I mean, everybody counts the
- 9:25Speaker 2: votes that night nine o'clock, polls close, here's the result.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Sometimes you got to wait till eleven twelve. There have
- 9:33Speaker 2: been some elections that were so close they couldn't call
- 9:36Speaker 2: it until the next morning. But there's never elections, normal
- 9:40Speaker 2: legitimate elections were six seven days later, you still don't know,
- 9:44Speaker 2: and they're now saying thirty days to count. This nuts
- 9:47Speaker 2: absolutely preposterous. If that's evidence right there, thirty days, well
- 9:52Speaker 2: it's mail in votes. Where are you mailing this from that?
- 9:55Speaker 2: It will take twenty days to get there. It's absolutely ridiculous,
- 10:00Speaker 2: and nobody does it. Now if you're watching Morning Joe,
- 10:03Speaker 2: you won't know any I was watching this crazy Morning
- 10:05Speaker 2: Joe ms now show and they're going through this ranting
- 10:10Speaker 2: raving about every state says thirty days. Every state officially
- 10:15Speaker 2: says thirty days to certifially. There's no state in the
- 10:18Speaker 2: world ever before that couldn't tell you who won the
- 10:21Speaker 2: election the next day or that night, so this is
- 10:24Speaker 2: unheard of.
- 10:25Speaker 1: It.
- 10:25Speaker 2: It's absolutely ridiculous. So she's yelling and screaming and huffing
- 10:30Speaker 2: and puffing, and he's trying to make his point. You know, well,
- 10:33Speaker 2: here's him work.
- 10:34Speaker 3: It's four days.
- 10:35Speaker 2: Oh, this is a rally.
- 10:37Speaker 1: It's four days, and they still aren't even close to
- 10:41Speaker 1: telling you who won. You know why, because they're rigging
- 10:44Speaker 1: the election.
- 10:44Speaker 2: That's well that was at four days. It's now day
- 10:47Speaker 2: seven and they still still can't tell you. So he
- 10:50Speaker 2: was getting really annoyed with her, you know, when it
- 10:52Speaker 2: comes to January sixth, and he talked about how some
- 10:56Speaker 2: of the protesters were let in the FBI and the
- 10:59Speaker 2: infiltrating the crowd, and also the police just let them in,
- 11:02Speaker 2: and she's screaming, there's no evidence, there's no evidence. Now,
- 11:06Speaker 2: I don't know why. I guess he just didn't think
- 11:07Speaker 2: of it. But not only is there evidence of that,
- 11:11Speaker 2: there were about six or seven cases of protesters where
- 11:15Speaker 2: their attorneys brought in video of the cops waving them in,
- 11:19Speaker 2: opening the gate and waving them in. You can see
- 11:21Speaker 2: it on the video. And there were a number of
- 11:24Speaker 2: cases where the judge threw the case out because it
- 11:27Speaker 2: was obvious it wasn't trespassing. The cops that opened the
- 11:31Speaker 2: gate and waved them in. He brought that up that
- 11:34Speaker 2: you can see the video, and it's pretty interesting that
- 11:37Speaker 2: an NBC anchor reporter isn't familiar with these videos. You
- 11:42Speaker 2: can go online and see them. So it got just
- 11:46Speaker 2: over and over and over. She's interrupting, yewling and screaming
- 11:49Speaker 2: and huffing and puffing. So finally he walks out there.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Elections in this country were like a third world country.
- 11:54Speaker 1: So your elections are crooked, and you crook it and
- 11:57Speaker 1: leased the presses crooked, and so is ABC and CBS
- 12:02Speaker 1: and CNN, the one sided crooked network. So let's call
- 12:06Speaker 1: it quits because I've had enough. Thank you, darling, have
- 12:08Speaker 1: a good time.
- 12:12Speaker 2: So now, both sides. For the last two days, the
- 12:19Speaker 2: last day and a half, the left has been yelling
- 12:22Speaker 2: and screaming. This is incredible. It shows he's totally unhinged.
- 12:26Speaker 2: He's a maniac. He's rude, he doesn't know how to
- 12:29Speaker 2: behave like a president. He's unhinged. I heard that a lot.
- 12:33Speaker 2: He's out of control. So for the left, it was
- 12:35Speaker 2: a great victory for them. But if you changed the
- 12:38Speaker 2: channel from the right, it was great. He told her off.
- 12:41Speaker 2: She got what she deserved. She was unhinged, she was
- 12:44Speaker 2: interrupting like crazy. So to both sides, it was wonderful.
- 12:48Speaker 2: So for whatever side you're on, if you think it's
- 12:50Speaker 2: helping your side, it's not. It's equal equal on both sides,
- 12:54Speaker 2: and it was great. She's yelling and at one point
- 12:56Speaker 2: she said, I am not crooked. That's a big mistake.
- 13:00Speaker 2: That's how Nixon got into trouble. Don't give him that quote.
- 13:02Speaker 2: I am not a crook, and she's yelling, I am
- 13:05Speaker 2: not crooked. That clip is going to be used a lot.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Let's listen to it.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Elections in this country were like a third world country.
- 13:12Speaker 1: So your elections are crooked, and your crooked, and these
- 13:15Speaker 1: the presses crookeds, and so is ABC and CBS and
- 13:20Speaker 1: CNN one sided crooked network. So let's call it questions
- 13:24Speaker 1: because I've had enough. Thank you, darling, have a good time.
- 13:28Speaker 2: And he stands up and he takes the mic off
- 13:30Speaker 2: and throws it down, and then I think accidentally walked
- 13:33Speaker 2: over the mic and stepped on it. But they've called
- 13:37Speaker 2: each other, spoken on the phone, they've agreed to another interview.
- 13:40Speaker 2: They'll try it again. Hopefully she won't be so rude. Hey,
- 13:43Speaker 2: we uh will get to Scott Pelly, especially in the
- 13:46Speaker 2: next hour. We'll get to it. This guy. You got
- 13:50Speaker 2: to watch these videos of this interview. He is the
- 13:52Speaker 2: most self important, out of controlled, delusional, pompous ass that
- 13:57Speaker 2: has ever lived, breaks down rying in one of these interviews.
- 14:03Speaker 2: How dare she even think? How could she even say
- 14:08Speaker 2: that we're biased?
- 14:09Speaker 3: She I am told said something to the effect of,
- 14:13Speaker 3: why do you think the country thinks you're biased, but
- 14:17Speaker 3: she didn't offer any kind of a metric. You know,
- 14:20Speaker 3: what's your metric? Why do you think?
- 14:22Speaker 4: So?
- 14:23Speaker 3: Do you have a poll? Is there market research? What
- 14:27Speaker 3: are you talking about? Because we certainly didn't believe that.
- 14:31Speaker 2: Yes, there is about four hundred polls that show hundreds
- 14:35Speaker 2: of poles, show that there's tons of market research that
- 14:39Speaker 2: shows that every poll ever taken shows that everybody, well
- 14:44Speaker 2: not everybody, but a majority think of a media's biased,
- 14:47Speaker 2: thinks CBS is biased. There's tons of metrics. And how
- 14:52Speaker 2: delusional is this guy and how bad or a porter
- 14:55Speaker 2: is he that he's not aware of these poles guys
- 14:59Speaker 2: in the media, This pole about him in sixty minutes
- 15:01Speaker 2: in the CBS, and he's not aware of them. Unbelievable.
- 15:05Speaker 2: It's amazing how little these people know. So, uh, just
- 15:10Speaker 2: absolutely ridiculous, pompous asked this guy.
- 15:14Speaker 3: Is One of the things Nick Bilton said in that.
- 15:17Speaker 2: Ill fated He's the new CBO, a new head of
- 15:20Speaker 2: sixty minutes.
- 15:21Speaker 3: Email to the staff was that he was excited to
- 15:24Speaker 3: tell I'm paraphrasing here, he was excited to tell the
- 15:28Speaker 3: staff about the new crop of correspondence. And when I
- 15:34Speaker 3: saw that I thought, Okay, they're going to fire all
- 15:37Speaker 3: of us.
- 15:40Speaker 2: How would you come to that conclusion? Does that mean
- 15:43Speaker 2: if I heard they're hiring some new people, doesn't mean
- 15:46Speaker 2: they're they're not going to fire me. That doesn't mean
- 15:48Speaker 2: that you're they're always hiring a new crop of correspondence.
- 15:53Speaker 2: And they didn't fire all of you. If beca apparently
- 15:55Speaker 2: Leslie Stall and a couple others are renegotiating their deals
- 15:59Speaker 2: right now. Now, you just got yourself fired with your
- 16:03Speaker 2: kamikaze mission there. Anyway, we'll get back to him, this crazy, crazy,
- 16:09Speaker 2: self important, delusional elitist moron. We'll get back to him.
- 16:14Speaker 2: We'll take some calls. Next. Eight hundred three two one
- 16:17Speaker 2: zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three two
- 16:21Speaker 2: one zero seven ten
