- 0:04Speaker 1: NFL Game Deview is a production of the NFL in
- 0:06Speaker 1: partnership with iHeartRadio.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Everybody, Welcome to Game Debut, person about season.
- 0:14Speaker 3: Sports, put Packrick Clayburn back here with my dear friends
- 0:17Speaker 3: Greg Rosengal and Cynthia Freeland.
- 0:18Speaker 2: It is Super Bowl week. They have done fifty nine
- 0:21Speaker 2: of these things. They're going to do one more for
- 0:23Speaker 2: us right here this week.
- 0:24Speaker 4: They wouldn't do it, though, without a game debut episode
- 0:27Speaker 4: to cap it off. No two people. I'd rather spend
- 0:30Speaker 4: our last show of the year for I mean, and look.
- 0:32Speaker 5: At your new haircut. Everything is good around here. It's
- 0:36Speaker 5: just a happy time, great week, Yes, a.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Great week to celebrate our postseason champion.
- 0:41Speaker 3: I won the regular season picks contest, but Cynthia has
- 0:44Speaker 3: claimed her rightful spot atop the charts in the playoffs.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Take a look at that.
- 0:48Speaker 3: Nine and three, Cynthia, you're all over the postseason who
- 0:52Speaker 3: I mean, nobody else on the graphics of Champion.
- 0:56Speaker 4: She's one game ahead. We have one game to go.
- 0:59Speaker 4: What are we talking about here, Well, it's not over.
- 1:01Speaker 6: Add the whole thing together.
- 1:02Speaker 5: And the thing I like the best is that Patrick
- 1:04Speaker 5: and I will have actually had the same exact number
- 1:07Speaker 5: of wins and losses for the entire season, which makes
- 1:10Speaker 5: me feel very happy.
- 1:11Speaker 6: Yes, that's just fun.
- 1:13Speaker 2: And that's a sneak pick.
- 1:14Speaker 3: With regards to how we are gonna pick out this
- 1:16Speaker 3: Super Bowl, Greg saying, perhaps there's gonna be some differences.
- 1:19Speaker 3: We're gonna find out because these two battling it out
- 1:21Speaker 3: for the title of postseason Picks champion, the Seahawks and
- 1:24Speaker 3: the Patriots have a little bit more on the line
- 1:26Speaker 3: from the Super Bowl Sunday. Before we go forward, let's
- 1:29Speaker 3: take a quick look back at just how these two
- 1:31Speaker 3: improbable teams got to Super Bowl sixty.
- 1:36Speaker 7: You can steal it in the New England air, the
- 1:39Speaker 7: playoffs return to chill Lett Stadium, home of the New
- 1:42Speaker 7: England Hatriots.
- 1:45Speaker 4: Tech.
- 1:46Speaker 2: He's qualified me. Patriots are moving.
- 1:49Speaker 4: On enemies that met just fifteen days ago.
- 1:54Speaker 7: Holy trap fish ninety five yards touchdown, Sayhawks, this baby's
- 2:01Speaker 7: a runaway train.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Season time.
- 2:08Speaker 7: Get us at the Marcus Stowe takes you to.
- 2:10Speaker 4: The mount Tail cut down, Look at it.
- 2:12Speaker 2: It's nuts again.
- 2:14Speaker 8: Dropping the fucking quoto by the MVP.
- 2:16Speaker 2: I'm calling the MVP. I dunned, far dedundant fox. That
- 2:20Speaker 2: God right there sake faith.
- 2:22Speaker 7: Oh my throws the deepot down the right like telling
- 2:25Speaker 7: Uner set for the Baked by May He's got their
- 2:29Speaker 7: first dead on your Mike Crabel, hit your twenty three
- 2:33Speaker 7: old quarterback.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Or go with the Super Bowl sixty.
- 2:36Speaker 7: Getting said to take on the Los Angeles Rams for
- 2:39Speaker 7: the right to go to Super Bowl sixty.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Best offense in the league, best defense in the NFL.
- 2:45Speaker 7: Touch down James Heath and the cup touchdown won a town.
- 2:51Speaker 7: Let go, this might be it right here. Fire to
- 2:54Speaker 7: the NZL. They're gone, Tonith Duper Bowl. They're gonna take
- 2:58Speaker 7: on the New England Patriots Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
- 3:07Speaker 3: We gotta get, of course, our picks for who he
- 3:09Speaker 3: thinks are gonna win the game coming up later on
- 3:11Speaker 3: in the show. But let's just discuss our guys on
- 3:13Speaker 3: to watch on offense for the New England Patriots.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Who do you have both of your eyes on something?
- 3:18Speaker 5: Both of my eyes are going to be trained on Hunter, Henry.
- 3:21Speaker 5: I love the idea of again thinking through the ways
- 3:24Speaker 5: to beat this small ball, nickel or dime defense in
- 3:28Speaker 5: the Seahawks, and one of those ways is to use
- 3:31Speaker 5: Hunter Henry Well. Hunter Henry has obviously had a very
- 3:34Speaker 5: good relationship with Drake May this season, but also when
- 3:38Speaker 5: I'm looking at the opportunity in the red area, this
- 3:40Speaker 5: is an area where he has been absolutely electric, and
- 3:42Speaker 5: I think this is how they really get past the
- 3:46Speaker 5: nitty gritty of getting that third down situation all sorted out.
- 3:49Speaker 5: Meaning this is the best third down defense in the
- 3:51Speaker 5: Seahawks in the NFL.
- 3:53Speaker 6: And what do you do on third Just pass in
- 3:55Speaker 6: to the.
- 3:55Speaker 5: Guy who has a size advantage over almost everyone else.
- 3:58Speaker 4: You know why? You know that Hunter Henry's good because
- 4:00Speaker 4: he got it done with Bailey Zappy as his quarterback.
- 4:03Speaker 4: He got it done last year with Alex Van Pelt
- 4:05Speaker 4: as his offensive cordner. He's been bulletproof. I'm going with
- 4:08Speaker 4: a guy who wasn't on either of those teams, Travion Henderson.
- 4:12Speaker 4: He really hasn't done much in the playoffs, and that's
- 4:15Speaker 4: why he to me, he's someone to watch because he
- 4:16Speaker 4: would just add the explosive element that's gonna be so
- 4:19Speaker 4: difficult when I watch this Seattle defense, they're so fundamentally sound,
- 4:23Speaker 4: good tacklers, physical. Travon Henderson barely even got the rock
- 4:27Speaker 4: the last couple of games. In weather games, they trust
- 4:29Speaker 4: for mare Moore, but watch out, it's gonna be a
- 4:32Speaker 4: little better weather here, cleaner. And I think the one
- 4:35Speaker 4: way you beat such a fundamentally sound defense is just
- 4:39Speaker 4: with pure speed. If he gets an edge on you,
- 4:43Speaker 4: they are not gonna catch him. He gives this Patriots
- 4:46Speaker 4: offense something no one else on the team really gives him.
- 4:50Speaker 4: So I know he hasn't seen the field a lot
- 4:52Speaker 4: the last few weeks. I think he's gonna be a
- 4:54Speaker 4: bigger part of the game plan in Super Bowl sixty.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:58Speaker 3: In offense that hits a lot of home runs, he
- 5:00Speaker 3: is one of the bigger home run hitters. We're doing
- 5:02Speaker 3: players to watch for, I guess players to watch out
- 5:04Speaker 3: Bailey Zappi and Alex Van Pelt.
- 5:06Speaker 2: The first recipient of Greg Rosenthal strays.
- 5:08Speaker 3: I want to go back to the New England Patriots
- 5:11Speaker 3: backfield and I will talk about Ramandre Stevis, and he
- 5:13Speaker 3: has been the most productive and reliable back down the
- 5:16Speaker 3: stretch and in the postseason. And he also has a superpower.
- 5:19Speaker 3: Out of jumbo formations, he's averaging almost ten.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Yards of carry.
- 5:23Speaker 3: That's the best of the entire next Gen stats era
- 5:26Speaker 3: nine point eight yards per carry, and that's with a
- 5:29Speaker 3: lot of those because there's been four touchdowns coming in
- 5:32Speaker 3: the red zone, and when you are having carries in
- 5:34Speaker 3: the red zone, it's tough to have ten yards to
- 5:36Speaker 3: carry because the end zone stops you.
- 5:38Speaker 2: You can't get any more yards after that. Ramandre has
- 5:40Speaker 2: been very good.
- 5:41Speaker 3: So yeah, he's my player to watch on offense. But
- 5:43Speaker 3: let's go over to the defensive side of the ball
- 5:45Speaker 3: for New England. Who are you watching here, Cynthia?
- 5:47Speaker 5: On the defensive side, well, I think you have to
- 5:50Speaker 5: watch Christian zalz although are we gonna see a lot
- 5:52Speaker 5: of him? Because ultimately I wouldn't throw the ball into
- 5:55Speaker 5: his coverage like maybe the Texans did. A future manays
- 5:58Speaker 5: there's a straight for the Texans from me from looking
- 6:01Speaker 5: at Christian goan Zales here they place side. So will
- 6:03Speaker 5: we see this sophomore on sophomore matchic between Jackson Smith
- 6:07Speaker 5: and Jegua and Christian Gonzalez.
- 6:08Speaker 6: Probably not.
- 6:09Speaker 5: About twenty six percent of the time we've seen Gonzalez
- 6:11Speaker 5: on the number one wide receiver for the opposing team.
- 6:14Speaker 5: So I'm gonna watch Christian Gonzalez to see what kind
- 6:16Speaker 5: of things they're gonna do.
- 6:17Speaker 6: To are they who are they racketing JSN with Who's
- 6:20Speaker 6: going to be.
- 6:20Speaker 5: In Christian Gonzalez's coverage as the other guy that perhaps
- 6:24Speaker 5: San Darnold will look to. So I think he's gonna
- 6:26Speaker 5: have a big impact on this game, even if they
- 6:28Speaker 5: are smart and don't target him quite as often as
- 6:30Speaker 5: we've seen in.
- 6:31Speaker 4: Some other games. Okay, so you go Christian Gonzalz. Yes,
- 6:33Speaker 4: I go with Christian Barmore, who he's already made a
- 6:36Speaker 4: name for himself, you know, since Bill Belichick drafted him,
- 6:39Speaker 4: been one of the best pass rushers at his position.
- 6:41Speaker 4: But he's been outstanding in these playoffs. He not only
- 6:45Speaker 4: trashed Quinn Miners, who was a first team All Pro
- 6:50Speaker 4: multiple times in that Denver game, but then he talked
- 6:53Speaker 4: his talk about it afterwards, saying like that's not an
- 6:55Speaker 4: All Pro to me. Now, you look at this matchup,
- 6:58Speaker 4: and if there's one single weakness on the entire Seattle
- 7:01Speaker 4: Seahawks roster, I think it's the interior of their offensive line,
- 7:05Speaker 4: Jake Sundell, their center, Anthony Bradford at right guard. So
- 7:09Speaker 4: when Barmore gets that match up one on one, I
- 7:12Speaker 4: think he's gonna win it.
- 7:13Speaker 3: Yeah, you're talking about the interior offense, Lint, we're on
- 7:15Speaker 3: the same page. I'll those same position group there and
- 7:17Speaker 3: also provide an issue for them with Milton Williams, who
- 7:20Speaker 3: had a team high four pressures in the AFC Championship game,
- 7:23Speaker 3: including splitting a double team on that play where a
- 7:26Speaker 3: lot of Patriots won that cause. Jarretts did him to
- 7:28Speaker 3: revert to YMCA basketball camp chest pass mode, essentially getting
- 7:32Speaker 3: the Patriots into the Super Bowlton Williams playing in his
- 7:35Speaker 3: second consecutive Super Bowl because he's such an impactful player.
- 7:38Speaker 2: If he has half the effect he.
- 7:40Speaker 3: Had in the game last year against the Kansas City Chiefs,
- 7:43Speaker 3: watch out for the Seattle Seahawks.
- 7:45Speaker 5: You really missed and we really missed an opportunity here
- 7:47Speaker 5: for you to say Christian eis and we could have
- 7:49Speaker 5: found the whole Christian defense every single level.
- 7:52Speaker 6: Oh, I didn't even realize that told us I didn't.
- 7:55Speaker 3: The naming parallels across the NFL is something we have
- 7:58Speaker 3: to pay attention to. Let's move on to the quarterbacks
- 8:00Speaker 3: facing off against the opposing defenses in Super Bowl sixty.
- 8:02Speaker 3: Sam Darnold and Drake May Let's look at how they
- 8:05Speaker 3: fared in this year's playoffs based on the numbers, all
- 8:09Speaker 3: of them favoring Sam Donald in terms of completion percentage,
- 8:14Speaker 3: pass yard for a tenth touchdown to intercept Ray Shiel.
- 8:16Speaker 3: Passer rating hasn't been sacked as much has it turned
- 8:19Speaker 3: the ball over at all. But they are both here.
- 8:21Speaker 3: Both Donald and may have had terrific seasons. Which young
- 8:24Speaker 3: signal caller? Because yes, Sam Donald, who was once the
- 8:26Speaker 3: youngest quarterback to ever start a season of a week
- 8:30Speaker 3: one game in the NFL still young.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Who throws from more yards in this game?
- 8:33Speaker 5: So the play action passer that would be Sam Donald.
- 8:36Speaker 5: When I'm looking at the opportunity here, I think we've
- 8:39Speaker 5: seen a lot of interesting things out of twelve. Right,
- 8:41Speaker 5: they are very effective running the ball, but they are
- 8:44Speaker 5: extremely effective in twelve personnel. So two tight end sets
- 8:48Speaker 5: when Sam Donald passes the ball, and I think that
- 8:50Speaker 5: will again forecast to be an area of success for
- 8:53Speaker 5: them in this matchup. Again, I think you're looking at
- 8:56Speaker 5: Cooper Cup handle the ball there, receive some of the chart.
- 8:59Speaker 6: I think that's going to be a key.
- 9:00Speaker 5: It's going to be some of the guys not named
- 9:02Speaker 5: Jackson Smith and Jigba out of this personnel that's going
- 9:05Speaker 5: to make Sam Donald pass for more.
- 9:06Speaker 4: I went with Sam Donald as well. I surprise myself,
- 9:10Speaker 4: but I think if you consider a game script scenario
- 9:13Speaker 4: where they're gonna need to throw, that actually would be
- 9:16Speaker 4: good for the Patriots, and I think it could be
- 9:18Speaker 4: that way in this game if the Seahawks running game
- 9:21Speaker 4: can't get it going. So look Sam Darnold, who is
- 9:24Speaker 4: a volume passer when he needs to be. I think
- 9:29Speaker 4: that turnover number is the key one that he's had
- 9:32Speaker 4: zero after being one of the league leaders. If that
- 9:35Speaker 4: number changes, he could be having to play catch up
- 9:38Speaker 4: throughout this game and get more passing yards than Drake May.
- 9:41Speaker 3: I do see a game script scenario leading to somebody
- 9:43Speaker 3: having a lot of passing yards more than the other.
- 9:45Speaker 3: I think that's Sam Donald not necessarily throw him for
- 9:48Speaker 3: more passing yards than Drake May because Ptriots might need
- 9:51Speaker 3: to do so based on the game script that I
- 9:54Speaker 3: envision could take place.
- 9:55Speaker 2: May led the league in yards per attempt against man coverage,
- 9:59Speaker 2: which is great. He also led the league in yards.
- 10:01Speaker 3: For attempt against zone coverage. When Drake he throws the ball,
- 10:05Speaker 3: it's generally for a.
- 10:06Speaker 2: Lot of yards.
- 10:07Speaker 3: So if the passing opportunities for the Patriots maybe out
- 10:11Speaker 3: of necessity bump up a little bit, then that bumps
- 10:13Speaker 3: up the passing yard.
- 10:14Speaker 4: For great I think this whole question, and it's a
- 10:18Speaker 4: question about this entire game. It's kind of like, what
- 10:20Speaker 4: what do you really trust? Do you trust the eighteen
- 10:23Speaker 4: weeks that we saw or do you trust the last
- 10:26Speaker 4: two or three and now in more of a controlled environment.
- 10:29Speaker 4: To me, the regular season is how we like really
- 10:33Speaker 4: learn who the best NFL players are. So if Drake
- 10:36Speaker 4: may is a top two quarterback in the regular season,
- 10:38Speaker 4: I believe he can be in this game too.
- 10:40Speaker 6: Sure he can be a top two quarterback in this game.
- 10:43Speaker 4: I mean quarterback play like a top two MVP candidate quarterback.
- 10:46Speaker 4: I think they got the edge quarterback.
- 10:48Speaker 6: But here's the thing.
- 10:49Speaker 5: If you look at what the seattles are, what the
- 10:50Speaker 5: Patriots defense did in the regular season, they weren't.
- 10:52Speaker 6: Causing a lot of turnovers.
- 10:53Speaker 5: So does that even out too then or does it
- 10:56Speaker 5: the defense from the regulars.
- 10:57Speaker 4: Only when it fits my shot it the fence is
- 11:00Speaker 4: playing great in the playoffs, that's the new defense.
- 11:02Speaker 3: And also eight weeks of early season and Sam Donald
- 11:05Speaker 3: could have been the season long MVP.
- 11:08Speaker 2: This is what we got for man David out of
- 11:11Speaker 2: the field. Idun their far just the dumb, their full
- 11:14Speaker 2: you said all the all. You gotta be willing to
- 11:15Speaker 2: spill some blood your quarterback.
- 11:17Speaker 1: You throw the back corner for Hooper Creaches shopping makes
- 11:20Speaker 1: the catch.
- 11:22Speaker 7: Another perfect pass by Sam Donald.
- 11:26Speaker 2: Chance of MVP for Drake by James.
- 11:30Speaker 7: Yes, and he's gonna go in. Cut it down, see
- 11:34Speaker 7: hawk throw the dens up for takes preaches up comes down?
- 11:38Speaker 4: What it comes? Well?
- 11:41Speaker 1: Are you kidding me?
- 11:43Speaker 8: What a chop on the seat offs.
- 11:44Speaker 7: Defense but unbelievable super Bowl sixty the s off. You're
- 11:51Speaker 7: going back to the super Bowl.
- 11:54Speaker 3: Can't wait for the show, not just bad funny, but
- 11:56Speaker 3: the Super Bowl as well as time for a quick
- 11:58Speaker 3: pace here on game debut. Let's shot some obscure prop
- 12:01Speaker 3: bets that we're gonna make a little less obscure because
- 12:03Speaker 3: we're gonna discuss them here, Starting with the national anthem.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Charlie Poof has the honors this year. Greg.
- 12:08Speaker 3: We know that you enjoy yes creations musically. Will his
- 12:12Speaker 3: rendition be more or less than two minutes?
- 12:14Speaker 4: Yes, I've been a pooth head for a long time.
- 12:16Speaker 4: I'm going under. It's gonna be a big moment for
- 12:19Speaker 4: all of the huge fans of Pooth out here. That's
- 12:22Speaker 4: not him, How dare we? He smirched out, these are
- 12:26Speaker 4: the previous under let's go under.
- 12:30Speaker 5: I have more because I just think it's going to
- 12:32Speaker 5: be a moment where I think they're going big ahead
- 12:35Speaker 5: of the game.
- 12:35Speaker 6: Ian green Day is gonna be the whole thing.
- 12:37Speaker 5: So give Pooth his moment and one hundred and twenty
- 12:40Speaker 5: one of those moments.
- 12:42Speaker 3: I think that Charlie is aggressively online like a lot
- 12:44Speaker 3: of us are, and he knows this is a discussion
- 12:46Speaker 3: and maybe how he slides under it. What do we
- 12:48Speaker 3: think about the first player to score a touchdown in
- 12:51Speaker 3: the game? Will the jersey number be over or under
- 12:53Speaker 3: eleven and a half?
- 12:55Speaker 5: What numbers Jackson Smith and Jigba eleven so under?
- 12:58Speaker 6: I think it's going to be lower. I'm also I'm
- 13:00Speaker 6: just kidding. I think that's actually one that I do like.
- 13:02Speaker 5: But I'm looking at the opportunity here for which of
- 13:05Speaker 5: these guys. Kenneth Walker, Okay, that's a nine, that's under eleven,
- 13:09Speaker 5: and right there Cooper Cup he's a ten.
- 13:10Speaker 4: There we go.
- 13:11Speaker 5: I think that the Seahawks score first. And I think
- 13:13Speaker 5: it's gonna be a guy who's numbers.
- 13:14Speaker 4: How about that number right?
- 13:16Speaker 6: You know what?
- 13:16Speaker 4: It is? Also under eleven, Kayshaun Boody, Stefan Diggs, A
- 13:21Speaker 4: lot of players, let's get a little to Mario Douglas
- 13:24Speaker 4: in there.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Plenty of number.
- 13:25Speaker 3: Three, his number, A few of the electric players that
- 13:30Speaker 3: we're going to see in Super Bowl sixty Greg. The
- 13:32Speaker 3: question is will any of them score a touchdown longer
- 13:35Speaker 3: than fifty yards?
- 13:36Speaker 4: Yes? Because what is the point of saying no? In
- 13:39Speaker 4: a situation like this? Who cares? If these defenses are
- 13:42Speaker 4: the best in the NFL. You can get a received
- 13:45Speaker 4: he'd return touchdown. You can get a the Mario Jones
- 13:50Speaker 4: return to Mario Douglas. I almost did the touchdown celebration there,
- 13:55Speaker 4: but you know, I don't know what is that.
- 13:57Speaker 3: You know, it's just a popular first down celebration, popularized bite.
- 14:00Speaker 4: He's from a video game, Hollywood Brown hardly enough case
- 14:04Speaker 4: on vodie. This is a bucket getting offense with the Patriots,
- 14:08Speaker 4: And I do think on defense, you know, they like
- 14:10Speaker 4: to play little man covers, they like to blitz, so
- 14:12Speaker 4: they could give up some big plays too well.
- 14:15Speaker 5: We certainly saw the Seahawks give up a bunch of
- 14:17Speaker 5: deep plays in the NFC Championship.
- 14:18Speaker 4: I'm feeling an offensive game in general, so that.
- 14:20Speaker 3: WHOA all right, Well, let's talk about the Seahawks offense.
- 14:24Speaker 3: They have the league's top scoring defense. The Patriots aren't
- 14:27Speaker 3: too shabby either. Will the will see somebody score a
- 14:31Speaker 3: defensive touchdown in this game?
- 14:33Speaker 5: I don't think so. I think that this is going
- 14:35Speaker 5: to be a higher scoring game due to offenses, not
- 14:38Speaker 5: due to defenses. It's hard to score a defensive touchdown.
- 14:41Speaker 6: Let's be clear.
- 14:42Speaker 5: There could be an interception, absolutely, Could there be a
- 14:45Speaker 5: fumble return by yes, But do I think they return
- 14:48Speaker 5: it for a pick six or something like that?
- 14:50Speaker 6: I think the odds of that are low.
- 14:52Speaker 4: Can we get a Stroud or Stidham like play where
- 14:57Speaker 4: the quarterback just holds onto the ball trying to make
- 15:00Speaker 4: the big play? Do you know which two teams led
- 15:03Speaker 4: the NFL fumbles this year?
- 15:05Speaker 2: Who's that great?
- 15:05Speaker 4: The Seattle Seahawks of the New England Patriots. We never
- 15:08Speaker 4: listen to those coaches who say the ball is the
- 15:10Speaker 4: most important thing. Be precious with the ball. The Seahawks
- 15:13Speaker 4: were second to last in turnovers this year. These two
- 15:16Speaker 4: teams lead the NFL and fumbles. Just be loose with
- 15:19Speaker 4: that ball, give us a touchdown. Yet I said no, anyways,
- 15:22Speaker 4: maybe maybe the ball doesn't. I think I think it matters.
- 15:26Speaker 2: I guess the lesson is, take some risks.
- 15:28Speaker 3: Eventually you're gonna have some success in terms of scoring points.
- 15:32Speaker 3: The winning coach traditionally gets a.
- 15:35Speaker 2: Celebratory bath in gator ruis.
- 15:37Speaker 3: We would like to discuss what color it will be
- 15:40Speaker 3: when it goes on.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Some coaches hit on Sunday.
- 15:42Speaker 4: I'm having PTSD. They asked me this on game debut
- 15:45Speaker 4: every year, and I always try to say green because
- 15:49Speaker 4: that's what Levin Lyne is to me. And then they
- 15:51Speaker 4: put up yellow, and it's just another recognition of the
- 15:55Speaker 4: lack of color blind you knowation. Yeah, just thought that
- 16:00Speaker 4: goes into answers like this because to me, it looks green.
- 16:03Speaker 4: But either way, it's lemon line is the best. So
- 16:05Speaker 4: that's what I'm going with.
- 16:06Speaker 2: Well, that's that's your opinion.
- 16:08Speaker 6: Literally only when blue. Both teams have blue in their.
- 16:11Speaker 4: In their color. That was it. That's pretty good.
- 16:14Speaker 6: That was by logic.
- 16:16Speaker 3: It's worthwhile logic and all of this before the season started.
- 16:19Speaker 3: Of course, we all made super Bowl predictions. Apologies in
- 16:23Speaker 3: advance Sea Hawks and Patriots fans because mistakes were stained.
- 16:31Speaker 4: We have a history on this show of getting things right.
- 16:34Speaker 4: Your Lions are gonna make it, They're gonna be in it,
- 16:38Speaker 4: And this year the super Bowl is going to be
- 16:41Speaker 4: the Baltimore Ravens winning over at your Detroit Lions.
- 16:48Speaker 3: Baltimore Ravens don't need any star power. They just need
- 16:50Speaker 3: to get to the postseason and not turn the ball
- 16:52Speaker 3: over and have tragic, heartbreaking losses. And if they are
- 16:56Speaker 3: able to do that this season, I think they'll go
- 16:58Speaker 3: to the super Bowl and beat the Green Bay Packers.
- 17:02Speaker 4: Stop good, hold good, there's no good.
- 17:05Speaker 7: It is wide right, and the Steelers are the champions
- 17:10Speaker 7: to the North.
- 17:11Speaker 5: The mat says Bills over Eagles, and so that I mean, wow.
- 17:16Speaker 2: That's extremely difficult.
- 17:19Speaker 8: I feel like I yeah, I feel like I love
- 17:21Speaker 8: my love my teammates down tonight.
- 17:24Speaker 2: Well, what do we have to say for ourselves?
- 17:27Speaker 4: Both my teams made the play I was gonna say, like, oh, congrats,
- 17:30Speaker 4: you won the postseason. You won the regular season, your
- 17:32Speaker 4: team's made the playoffs. At least you had one team
- 17:35Speaker 4: that you picked that made the playoffs as a seventh seed.
- 17:37Speaker 4: I just got a big tanner in the beginning. You
- 17:40Speaker 4: know what I'm saying. I was a good teammate. I
- 17:41Speaker 4: picked your team and your team.
- 17:43Speaker 2: And thanks Greg because it worked for Smith and Chigba.
- 17:53Speaker 2: Just terrific.
- 17:54Speaker 6: Smith and Chip.
- 18:01Speaker 5: Why are you kidding me? Man?
- 18:02Speaker 7: Open to guess who then, Jacoba Pluck did with one
- 18:06Speaker 7: hand single coverage.
- 18:08Speaker 8: You guys know better than that. Who else but jayszn
- 18:12Speaker 8: This guy is unbelievable, one of.
- 18:20Speaker 3: The best in twenty twenty fives NFL season.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Welcome back to game debut.
- 18:24Speaker 3: Let's talk about the Seahawks and some players we think
- 18:26Speaker 3: will have a big impact in Super Bowl sixty. Starting
- 18:29Speaker 3: on offense, Cynthia, who would we ever discuss right here?
- 18:33Speaker 5: I'm not going to pretend to dance like him, although
- 18:34Speaker 5: I thought about it, But Jackson Smith and Jigbas who
- 18:37Speaker 5: I'm looking at in this matchup? It's giving a little
- 18:40Speaker 5: Julio Jones in an Atlanta situation. Why because remember Julio
- 18:44Speaker 5: Jones had like one hundred and eighty yards in the
- 18:46Speaker 5: NFC Championship game ahead of that Super Bowl.
- 18:48Speaker 6: We all know what happened there. But my point is
- 18:51Speaker 6: is that.
- 18:51Speaker 4: I mean, he had one of the greatest catches in
- 18:53Speaker 4: Super Bowl history.
- 18:54Speaker 5: Well, yet he had like three of the like all
- 18:56Speaker 5: three targets or four targets.
- 18:58Speaker 4: However he kicks.
- 18:59Speaker 6: They were insane catches.
- 19:01Speaker 5: But here's what I'm talking about with Jackson Smith and Jagoba, Right,
- 19:03Speaker 5: So they're going to put double coverage on him, maybe
- 19:05Speaker 5: even triple in certain situations. So it's not only gonna
- 19:08Speaker 5: be his impact. And obviously we know he has eight
- 19:10Speaker 5: different routes where's one hundred yards on at Only him
- 19:12Speaker 5: and Kuginakua have that.
- 19:13Speaker 6: This season, he.
- 19:14Speaker 5: Has five yards five different routes where he's top five
- 19:16Speaker 5: in terms of yards.
- 19:17Speaker 6: So he's super super versatile.
- 19:19Speaker 5: Right, But my question here in this one is how
- 19:22Speaker 5: are they gonna count for the other guy when two
- 19:24Speaker 5: or maybe even more people are really going to be
- 19:27Speaker 5: all over number eleven to not have that Julio Jones factor.
- 19:30Speaker 5: It's kind of like I said, same sort of Rabel's like.
- 19:33Speaker 6: You don't let him catch any easy passes.
- 19:35Speaker 4: Ever, That's that's how I would think about it, and
- 19:38Speaker 4: that's what Bill Belichick used to take away The best
- 19:40Speaker 4: take away the best thing. The Patriots have been one
- 19:42Speaker 4: of the worst teams in the NFL against opposing number
- 19:45Speaker 4: one receivers, and it's because I think they like to
- 19:47Speaker 4: stay sound and not commit too much and stop the run.
- 19:51Speaker 4: And so that's why Kenneth Walker is my choice, because look,
- 19:55Speaker 4: I don't know if he's either gonna have a great
- 19:57Speaker 4: game or a terrible game. I don't think there's gonna
- 19:59Speaker 4: be any in between, because even when he's playing well,
- 20:03Speaker 4: he doesn't necessarily go where the play is blocked. And
- 20:06Speaker 4: when you watch the Patriots over the course of the season,
- 20:09Speaker 4: they're a great run defense. When they're playing well, they're
- 20:11Speaker 4: averaging two point seven yards per carry allowed in the
- 20:14Speaker 4: postseason if you don't count the Herbo scrambles. Even then
- 20:17Speaker 4: it's not that high. But the way they get beat
- 20:20Speaker 4: is just unpredictability. Scrambling quarterbacks and talented running backs who
- 20:25Speaker 4: just go where it's not supposed to go and maybe
- 20:27Speaker 4: are more athletic than they are. But I could see
- 20:30Speaker 4: a scenario where Kenneth Walker also takes a lot of
- 20:32Speaker 4: negative plays. Ultimately, I think he's kind of the hinge point.
- 20:37Speaker 4: They are basically unstoppable all season when they can run
- 20:41Speaker 4: the ball.
- 20:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:41Speaker 3: A player who's converted more third and longs on the
- 20:44Speaker 3: ground than any other player in the NFL is Kenneth
- 20:46Speaker 3: Walker because he has that creativity, the ability to make plays.
- 20:49Speaker 3: But I'm looking elsewhere to another guy who's done nothing
- 20:52Speaker 3: but make big plays since the very moment he's stepped
- 20:54Speaker 3: on an NFL field.
- 20:55Speaker 2: For the New Orleans Saints, it's Rashid Shahed.
- 20:58Speaker 3: We'll have an impact because going back to what Cynthia
- 21:00Speaker 3: pointed out, you have to devote attention to Jackson Smith
- 21:03Speaker 3: and Jigbo, but you also can't afford to take an
- 21:06Speaker 3: eye off Rashi sha Heat because the minute you forget,
- 21:09Speaker 3: the second you shade over to JSN, it's fifty yards.
- 21:13Speaker 2: On your head. A player who's almost exclusively.
- 21:16Speaker 3: Scored long touchdowns in his NFL career, I think he
- 21:18Speaker 3: has an opportunity to do so on the biggest stage
- 21:21Speaker 3: here Sunday in Santa Clair. Let's move over to the
- 21:23Speaker 3: defensive side of the ball. For Seattle, it was once
- 21:26Speaker 3: called the Legion of Boom. Now they're just as nasty,
- 21:29Speaker 3: perhaps and they go by the dark side.
- 21:39Speaker 1: The Seahawks defense has been playing like beating away.
- 21:42Speaker 4: Oh my word, blue through him on a playe in
- 21:46Speaker 4: the face.
- 21:49Speaker 7: He goes down.
- 21:52Speaker 5: Are you kidding me?
- 21:54Speaker 7: Keep attacking your first all turn ve Go. What a
- 21:59Speaker 7: job by the Seahawks defense, Holy catfish?
- 22:04Speaker 8: Are you kidding Menbody hit.
- 22:06Speaker 7: The Shey Hawks. You're going nuts tonight.
- 22:12Speaker 2: That was dynamite got.
- 22:14Speaker 3: An opportunity to match that legendary historical Seahawks defense. The
- 22:18Speaker 3: dark Side, of course, a reference to a fictional sect
- 22:20Speaker 3: of space wizards. Let's chat some Seahawks defenders in this game.
- 22:24Speaker 3: Who do you like here?
- 22:25Speaker 2: Specifically on the defensive side for the Seahawks.
- 22:27Speaker 5: Well, obviously ahead of the season, the reason why we
- 22:30Speaker 5: chose our Super Bowl team was a former cowboy pass
- 22:32Speaker 5: rusher that was on.
- 22:33Speaker 6: A new team. Right, Clearly, of course it was whoever
- 22:35Speaker 6: was talking about.
- 22:36Speaker 5: But I do think DeMarcus Lawrence happens to be maybe
- 22:39Speaker 5: the best ROI free agent acquisition of this whole offen.
- 22:43Speaker 4: Yeah you know, Cynthia is getting excited when she's breaking
- 22:45Speaker 4: out the ROI, Yes, you know it.
- 22:47Speaker 5: I love a good math reference and former investment banking reference,
- 22:50Speaker 5: of course, but DeMarcus Lawrence has added something, another level,
- 22:54Speaker 5: another layer, another area where we know that they have
- 22:57Speaker 5: six different defenders who have at least thirty five pressures understood.
- 23:00Speaker 5: But DeMarcus Lawrence and his ferociousness has been a.
- 23:03Speaker 6: Real fact here. And I think what.
- 23:05Speaker 5: You're watching, you notice him stand out amongst all of
- 23:08Speaker 5: these other great guys, and it's part of the reason
- 23:09Speaker 5: why they don't even need to blitz and they have
- 23:11Speaker 5: this really high pressure rate. So obviously, you know former
- 23:14Speaker 5: Cowboys pass rusher. I can't think of any other ones
- 23:17Speaker 5: that were a big deal ahead of the season, but
- 23:19Speaker 5: you know in this one.
- 23:20Speaker 4: These there were a couple I believe that were beefing,
- 23:22Speaker 4: including DeMarcus Lawrence, and he's gonna have the last laugh. Look,
- 23:25Speaker 4: the super Bowl is where you kind of make your legend.
- 23:27Speaker 4: He could become like a future Hall of Famer. I've
- 23:30Speaker 4: always studies underrated. How about nick Amon Worry finishing off
- 23:34Speaker 4: one of the best rookie seasons we've seen from a
- 23:37Speaker 4: hybrid guy in the secondary. I don't even know what
- 23:39Speaker 4: position to call him at this point. Remember when the
- 23:42Speaker 4: weakness was supposed to be his play in coverage. He
- 23:45Speaker 4: was the best defensive player on the field for the
- 23:48Speaker 4: Seattle Seahawks last game against the Rams. They do not
- 23:51Speaker 4: win that game without even worry. His instincts and the
- 23:54Speaker 4: way he's improved in coverage in addition to obviously the
- 23:58Speaker 4: physicality that he brings. He is the chest beast that
- 24:01Speaker 4: really helps them unlock everything they do on the back end.
- 24:04Speaker 4: His flexibility to allow them to stay in six being coverages.
- 24:08Speaker 4: But you know, look like like the legion to boom
- 24:11Speaker 4: learned you make that legend in the Super Bowl. Sometimes
- 24:14Speaker 4: you give up two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to
- 24:16Speaker 4: the Patriots and it's not quite the same in the end.
- 24:19Speaker 4: You gotta finish it off.
- 24:20Speaker 3: Yes, So the results to kind of hinge in the
- 24:22Speaker 3: way history remembers you based on that final scoreboard. Looking,
- 24:25Speaker 3: a lot of folks, even the fans of tawn and Calls,
- 24:28Speaker 3: big fans of Reek, willen because it gives them a
- 24:30Speaker 3: chance to contescedently wag.
- 24:33Speaker 2: Their finger at all of us who don't like town
- 24:34Speaker 2: and Calls.
- 24:35Speaker 3: I think Reek gets a lot of attention here because
- 24:37Speaker 3: the Patriots is gonna give it to him. Forty of
- 24:40Speaker 3: Drake May's completions come within tight windows less than a
- 24:43Speaker 3: yard of separation. Trouble is, Woollen only allows two point
- 24:47Speaker 3: seven yards per target. Top five in the NFL when
- 24:50Speaker 3: he is playing man. So yes, all of you chiter
- 24:53Speaker 3: is about taunting. Riek has actually played pretty well this season.
- 24:56Speaker 3: I'm looking forward to seeing how these two great size
- 24:59Speaker 3: of the ball matchup got some novelty props for you.
- 25:02Speaker 2: Who will the MVP thank for?
- 25:04Speaker 3: Will Cardi b where a Stephan Diggs Jersey Well the
- 25:07Speaker 3: Seahawks trying to throw a pass from the one yard
- 25:09Speaker 3: lines total length of not just the anthem but the
- 25:13Speaker 3: last brave note held by Charlie Pooth laun said at
- 25:17Speaker 3: three and a half seconds right now, and will a
- 25:19Speaker 3: kick hit the goal posts?
- 25:22Speaker 2: The upright or the crossbar? Specific goalpost props available. It's
- 25:27Speaker 2: time for this guy or that guy.
- 25:29Speaker 3: Super Bowl addition, let's put some star players head ahead
- 25:31Speaker 3: to find out who's gonna ball out on Super Bowl Sunday, Greg.
- 25:34Speaker 3: We will start with the quarterbacks.
- 25:35Speaker 2: Who throws from more touchdowns in the game, Drake May or.
- 25:38Speaker 4: Sam Dark Let's go with Drake Drake May May.
- 25:42Speaker 2: I still don't get there.
- 25:43Speaker 4: I don't here's nothing to get He's not a red
- 25:46Speaker 4: zone specialist. And this is why I was a little
- 25:49Speaker 4: worried about this one. The Seahawks have one of the
- 25:51Speaker 4: best red zone defenses in football. The Patriots been up
- 25:53Speaker 4: and down, more down than up this year. But what
- 25:55Speaker 4: Drake May does is he gets buckets from the forty
- 25:58Speaker 4: five yard line and out, and so I think ultimately
- 26:02Speaker 4: he gets more passing touchdown. Look Seattle for what it's
- 26:06Speaker 4: worth it. You know, I heard how they never give
- 26:07Speaker 4: up any good play in big plays. I mean I
- 26:09Speaker 4: just watched the NFC Championship. In the middle of the field,
- 26:12Speaker 4: there were a lot of big plays. He's gonna have
- 26:14Speaker 4: to figure out how to do it going into the ends.
- 26:16Speaker 3: It's simple become the Los Angeles Rams, Cynthia more receiving yards,
- 26:20Speaker 3: Jackson Smiths and Jigma.
- 26:21Speaker 2: Or Stefan Diicks.
- 26:22Speaker 6: Listen.
- 26:23Speaker 5: I think this is gonna sound crazy, but I actually
- 26:25Speaker 5: have Stefan Diggs for this one. He's gonna paw his
- 26:28Speaker 5: way against all of those linebackers that he lines up against.
- 26:32Speaker 5: He has the most targets against linebackers in the National
- 26:36Speaker 5: Football League going into this game, and I think that's
- 26:38Speaker 5: what they will scheme up again.
- 26:40Speaker 6: So it's me.
- 26:41Speaker 5: For me, it's Stefan Diggs pawing his way against his linebackers.
- 26:44Speaker 2: Love that, all right?
- 26:45Speaker 3: I will go to receptions, more receivers discussion, Cooper Cup
- 26:49Speaker 3: or Kayshaan Boudi who has more?
- 26:51Speaker 2: I will side with Cooper Cup.
- 26:53Speaker 3: Already discussed the propensity of Drake May and the Patriots
- 26:55Speaker 3: offense to attack downfield in tight windows.
- 26:58Speaker 2: So maybe in the Super Bowl.
- 27:00Speaker 3: I will side with the person who gets more receptions
- 27:03Speaker 3: as a guy who maybe will get more separation, be
- 27:05Speaker 3: more available to his quarterback, a guy who's you know,
- 27:08Speaker 3: won as Super Bowl, been very instrumental in that.
- 27:10Speaker 2: So yeah, I would take Cooper Cupp here. Let's go
- 27:12Speaker 2: back to Greg. I know you like X factor I do.
- 27:15Speaker 3: Let's take a pick between the punt returners, Rashik Shaheed
- 27:18Speaker 3: or Marcus Jones, the guy who plays offense with the
- 27:20Speaker 3: guy who plays defense, who's a bigger X beat.
- 27:22Speaker 4: I'm going Marcus Jones because he's gonna prove you wrong
- 27:25Speaker 4: about Cooper Cupp and shut down you boy in the slot. Wow.
- 27:28Speaker 4: Because he's a great cornerback in addition to once again,
- 27:31Speaker 4: let's say it, the all time leader in punt return average.
- 27:36Speaker 4: Let's go Marcus Jones, but really has had an underrated
- 27:39Speaker 4: season as a cornerback this year. He's obviously giving up
- 27:42Speaker 4: a lot of size to players like JSN or Cooper Cup,
- 27:46Speaker 4: but he's been great making plays on the ball. He's
- 27:49Speaker 4: tougher than the size. He's always a willing tackler. And
- 27:52Speaker 4: so let's go Marcus Jones, a great Bill Belichick draft
- 27:55Speaker 4: pick and a guy who always believed in Belichick gave
- 27:58Speaker 4: him that second contract and it's looked.
- 27:59Speaker 3: Very good in a season where not everybody's wanting to
- 28:03Speaker 3: celebrate the account puishments of one Bill Belichick.
- 28:06Speaker 2: Greg Rosen does it right here all Today show. Let's
- 28:08Speaker 2: go to any time touchdowns.
- 28:09Speaker 3: We'll go a little bit down the list of guys
- 28:11Speaker 3: who are we may normally discuss AJ Barner or Mac Collins,
- 28:14Speaker 3: who's more likely to get in the Inzell Well, you.
- 28:16Speaker 6: Know where I'm going with this.
- 28:17Speaker 4: In R eight, the Barner dog, Oh yeah, AJ Barner
- 28:21Speaker 4: for me.
- 28:21Speaker 5: Not only because he is a red zone threat and
- 28:24Speaker 5: we see that happen, but also he's the sneak guy.
- 28:26Speaker 6: He has a touchdown on a sneak.
- 28:28Speaker 5: He has eight successful sneaks on ten attempts. So you're
- 28:31Speaker 5: watching some pass catches here and those are great and
- 28:34Speaker 5: potentially the way that he will score said touchdown. But
- 28:37Speaker 5: I think the sneak. Don't don't look past the sneak.
- 28:39Speaker 5: You gotta figure something out in that read air. I
- 28:40Speaker 5: mean he moves well for I'm a huge fan of him.
- 28:44Speaker 4: He like.
- 28:45Speaker 6: I think he's really good.
- 28:46Speaker 4: I think I think if you make the list of
- 28:48Speaker 4: the top ten tight ends in the league right now,
- 28:50Speaker 4: who you want. This is a second year player who
- 28:51Speaker 4: was a mid.
- 28:52Speaker 6: Round that Bill Belichick would have liked him.
- 28:54Speaker 4: He's right there. Matt Collins, by the way, came back
- 28:56Speaker 4: from an injury. I didn't think he looked his full
- 29:00Speaker 4: maccollins self in the NFC AFC Championship, and that that's
- 29:04Speaker 4: a little bit of a concern for the Patriots, all right.
- 29:06Speaker 3: Last one more sacks Milton Williams or Leonard Williams.
- 29:09Speaker 2: In a battle of Williams's.
- 29:10Speaker 3: The I side with Leonard here is the big cat
- 29:14Speaker 3: will have an opportunity to go up against the quarterback
- 29:16Speaker 3: who can't hold onto the ball a little bit longer.
- 29:20Speaker 2: I think perhaps the.
- 29:21Speaker 3: Opportunity for Sam to continue his turnover three Street will
- 29:24Speaker 3: mean getting the ball out of his hands, whereas Drake
- 29:27Speaker 3: may can help it.
- 29:28Speaker 2: He gets buckets, and getting.
- 29:30Speaker 3: Buckets means you hold onto the ball a little bit,
- 29:32Speaker 3: maybe Bigcat gets a sacker.
- 29:33Speaker 4: I mean, wasn't Milton Williams your defensive player to watch
- 29:36Speaker 4: for the Patriots if he feels like a little inconsistent.
- 29:39Speaker 2: No, you should watch Milton Williams.
- 29:40Speaker 3: But when the game is over, if you look at
- 29:42Speaker 3: the sack total, I feel we're more likely to have
- 29:45Speaker 3: Leonard have more.
- 29:46Speaker 4: Such Jake Maye does take a lot of sacks.
- 29:48Speaker 5: And the old line, I mean, you talked about some
- 29:50Speaker 5: deficiencies in it, but the old line or.
- 29:52Speaker 6: The Pats has some areas of concern.
- 29:55Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm I'm pleased we've made it this deep into
- 29:58Speaker 4: the show and have not said anything about this offensive line, which, yes,
- 30:01Speaker 4: is my biggest concern when it comes to.
- 30:04Speaker 2: All right, coming up, the time has come. Yes, the
- 30:06Speaker 2: offensive line will be a factor because we.
- 30:08Speaker 3: Are making our official picks for who's winning Super Bowl sixty.
- 30:12Speaker 3: Will break side with his heart and go with his
- 30:14Speaker 3: beloved New England Patriots or does he betray all of
- 30:18Speaker 3: New England other than Bill Belichick, whose relationship with the
- 30:21Speaker 3: circumstances are a little bit.
- 30:22Speaker 4: I don't think he's in for the Patriots.
- 30:24Speaker 3: Find out who we pick coming up next on game debut.
- 30:33Speaker 3: Let's look at some notable player props for Super Bowl sixty.
- 30:36Speaker 3: According to our friends at Caesar, Sam Darnold two hundred
- 30:38Speaker 3: twenty nine and a half passing yards, Kenneth Walker in
- 30:41Speaker 3: seventy three and a half rush yards, JSN at ninety
- 30:43Speaker 3: four and a half receiving yards always somewhere right around there,
- 30:47Speaker 3: at least from the projections rank Maye two hundred and
- 30:49Speaker 3: sixty three and a half total yards including rushing on
- 30:52Speaker 3: that in Kaishan Boody's longest reception at seventeen and a
- 30:56Speaker 3: half yards, bringing us to more or less than an
- 30:59Speaker 3: opportunity to bring out our foam fingers in this last
- 31:03Speaker 3: edition of game this season. Let's get a few props
- 31:05Speaker 3: that we haven't hit Cynthia more or less than thirty
- 31:09Speaker 3: seven rushing yards for Drake may More.
- 31:12Speaker 5: I mean, this isn't predictive, but we saw Matthew Stafford
- 31:15Speaker 5: rush for sixty yards against this defense last time, so
- 31:19Speaker 5: I think it's just really about the ability to leverage
- 31:22Speaker 5: the fact that they're gonna be blanketing all the pass
- 31:24Speaker 5: catchers if no one's available. We've seen Drake may take
- 31:26Speaker 5: off before. We'll see him do it again, I think
- 31:28Speaker 5: we see ten. I think he has really good odds
- 31:30Speaker 5: factor scoring a rushing touchdown.
- 31:32Speaker 4: Mean, he went over sixty into these playoff games, but.
- 31:35Speaker 6: You saw Matthew Stafford run for sixteen. That's like a
- 31:37Speaker 6: normal person running for like one hundred.
- 31:39Speaker 3: Greg Ahead of the NFC Championship game, you were lamenting
- 31:42Speaker 3: the fact that Rashidja he wasn't heavily involved in the
- 31:44Speaker 3: Seahawks offense. We blink, and then he has a big
- 31:47Speaker 3: touchdown to start.
- 31:48Speaker 2: The NFC game. Will his longest catch be more or
- 31:50Speaker 2: less than fourteen?
- 31:51Speaker 4: And what kind of question is it? What? I think
- 31:53Speaker 4: the question is kind of will he have a catch?
- 31:55Speaker 4: So if the answer is yes, then it's going to
- 31:58Speaker 4: be longer than fortunate, but higher than that. This man
- 32:01Speaker 4: averages about twenty yards per catch since he entered the league.
- 32:05Speaker 4: I just love how consistent that is. I think the
- 32:09Speaker 4: reason that they even take this is that, yeah, for
- 32:11Speaker 4: a month before that game, he wasn't really getting the
- 32:14Speaker 4: ball at all. But he has the speed where if
- 32:18Speaker 4: he has even just one rep man to man Carlton Davis,
- 32:21Speaker 4: that is going to keep me up at night. I'm
- 32:24Speaker 4: sure the Patriots coaches they're.
- 32:25Speaker 3: Worried about it, all right, I will take the last one.
- 32:27Speaker 3: We will go receptions for Stefan Diggs four and a half.
- 32:31Speaker 3: I will side with more for Stefan Diggs there on
- 32:34Speaker 3: four and a half perceptions because I do think Drake
- 32:37Speaker 3: may targets Stefan Diggs closer to the line of scrimmage.
- 32:40Speaker 3: Of course, they were able to get deep shot in
- 32:43Speaker 3: deep opportunities to the younger receivers of Stefan Diggs. Also
- 32:47Speaker 3: Stephan Diggs Cooper Cup basically the same age, five months
- 32:50Speaker 3: separating these guys, both of them with an opportunity, Cooper
- 32:53Speaker 3: Cup counting in his second Super Bowl. I think Stefan
- 32:55Speaker 3: Diggs is gonna have more catches, and you guys agree,
- 32:57Speaker 3: So my priors are confirmed.
- 33:00Speaker 4: We gotta do it.
- 33:00Speaker 6: We gotta do it.
- 33:01Speaker 4: One, two, three, oh, right now that camera, It's accuracy
- 33:07Speaker 4: time for season season presented by Caesar Sportsbook.
- 33:10Speaker 3: As we look at the first touchdown score odds leading
- 33:14Speaker 3: the way is Kenneth Walker the third and then JSM
- 33:16Speaker 3: followed up by Ramandre and then a couple more Seahawks, AJ.
- 33:19Speaker 2: Barner and Cooper Cup.
- 33:22Speaker 3: So based on the number discussion we had earlier, it
- 33:25Speaker 3: seems the oddsmakers agree with two players under eleven and
- 33:29Speaker 3: a half getting in the end zone overwhelming favorites, and
- 33:32Speaker 3: that's it.
- 33:33Speaker 2: We're a lot of props, guys.
- 33:35Speaker 4: It's time.
- 33:36Speaker 2: Who is going to win Super Bowl sixty?
- 33:38Speaker 3: Seattle has it hoisted the Lombardian over a decade, while
- 33:41Speaker 3: New England is looking to become the first franchise to
- 33:43Speaker 3: win seven Super Bowls.
- 33:45Speaker 2: Cynthia, what happens in the game.
- 33:47Speaker 5: I have Seattle winning this one twenty seven to twenty one,
- 33:51Speaker 5: and I'm looking at Sam Darnold to become the first
- 33:54Speaker 5: USC quarterback to win a Super Bowl, which is wild
- 33:57Speaker 5: because they've had like seventy players play in Super Bowls
- 33:59Speaker 5: and forty four wins, but never at the quarterback position.
- 34:02Speaker 5: I'm watching Sam Darnold and I feel like Sam in
- 34:06Speaker 5: many ways, Like it's so relatable to everyone. He's gone
- 34:09Speaker 5: through some turbulent times, he's overcome them with one organization,
- 34:13Speaker 5: and yet they didn't believe in him enough to keep
- 34:15Speaker 5: him shift him out West.
- 34:16Speaker 6: Then what happens.
- 34:18Speaker 5: They finally finds a home with Klint Kubiak, who's probably
- 34:21Speaker 5: leaving him very soon, but doesn't matter.
- 34:23Speaker 6: They're going to complete the whole endeavor here.
- 34:26Speaker 5: I'm just watching Sam darl pressure blah blah blah, all
- 34:29Speaker 5: these things and he's overcome all these odds, and I
- 34:31Speaker 5: think we can all relate to that story.
- 34:33Speaker 6: So I only I do have the math picking them,
- 34:35Speaker 6: but I also really like the story.
- 34:37Speaker 2: I can relate to it to I can relate to
- 34:39Speaker 2: it as well.
- 34:39Speaker 3: And after a full season of picks, we are going
- 34:41Speaker 3: to have the same exact record. I am going with
- 34:44Speaker 3: the Seattle Seahawks as well, twenty eight to twenty one.
- 34:47Speaker 3: One more point for me over Cynthia there because I
- 34:52Speaker 3: believe not just in the Seahawks offensibility, but looking at
- 34:55Speaker 3: this defensive secondary. I know there's the parallels, there's naming
- 34:59Speaker 3: controversies with regards, so.
- 35:00Speaker 2: What to call this book? This group of.
- 35:03Speaker 3: Guys, vickey Manmory coming out of South Carolina being a
- 35:07Speaker 3: first team All SEC defender but not necessarily getting the looks,
- 35:10Speaker 3: Josh job having the success that he has had despite
- 35:14Speaker 3: not a lot of attention, and then Devon Witherspoon being
- 35:18Speaker 3: one of the more consistent players at corner throughout the league.
- 35:21Speaker 2: An opportunity for us to appreciate this group.
- 35:23Speaker 3: Not necessarily to compare them to what came before, but
- 35:25Speaker 3: to appreciate what they've been able to provide.
- 35:27Speaker 2: I think they beat the Patriots, Greg.
- 35:29Speaker 4: I think they're one of the best teams that we've
- 35:31Speaker 4: seen entering the Super Bowl for a long time. So
- 35:33Speaker 4: I won't take it as disrespect that you have a
- 35:35Speaker 4: sick the model as a six point margin, you have
- 35:38Speaker 4: a seven trenches Trenchet and I pick the correct answer,
- 35:42Speaker 4: which is the Patriots just gregging it up. As we
- 35:45Speaker 4: get out of here for the twenty twenty five season.
- 35:48Speaker 4: The game debut, I think has been around for seven seasons,
- 35:51Speaker 4: so it's been a long run as a Patriots fan.
- 35:53Speaker 4: I haven't been able to pick them to win a
- 35:55Speaker 4: super Bowl yet on this show. And when you think
- 35:58Speaker 4: about the history of this team, I don't think it
- 36:02Speaker 4: really matters. I'm talking about the history of this Drake
- 36:04Speaker 4: May throwing the ball. Big games come down to the
- 36:07Speaker 4: most talented quarterbacks, and you can't tell me that Sam
- 36:11Speaker 4: Darnold versus Drake May is in a mismatch of epic proportions.
- 36:15Speaker 4: And I do believe Drake May, supported by my guy
- 36:19Speaker 4: Mike Rabel, it could be a really big difference maker
- 36:22Speaker 4: in a game like this. I don't think it's the
- 36:24Speaker 4: worst thing in the world that they're an underdog here.
- 36:26Speaker 4: I think they've survived a very difficult AFC run of
- 36:30Speaker 4: defenses and now they play another tough defense. But I
- 36:32Speaker 4: think maybe Drake may got those bad games out of
- 36:36Speaker 4: the way and he can play a little looser, a
- 36:38Speaker 4: little freer in the Seahawks, so close to finishing off
- 36:42Speaker 4: just an incredible season, lose to a team that really
- 36:45Speaker 4: never expected to be here all along, and maybe yes,
- 36:48Speaker 4: they start another Patriots diast. Wow.
- 36:51Speaker 5: Wow, all these seven year olds who've never seen a
- 36:53Speaker 5: Patriots victory now I'm looking at that. I wouldn't be
- 36:56Speaker 5: surprised if either team wins. I was a little surprised
- 36:58Speaker 5: that the Model had a six point win for the Seahawks,
- 37:01Speaker 5: But trench play, you know that the Model love offensive
- 37:05Speaker 5: line play and both tackle positions for the Patriots have
- 37:08Speaker 5: been dicey in the playoffs, and I'm not sure if
- 37:10Speaker 5: one extra week of help or rest will give them
- 37:14Speaker 5: enough health to be able to overcome.
- 37:16Speaker 4: I have been surprised to see like how big Like
- 37:19Speaker 4: to me, this should not feel like a massive upset.
- 37:21Speaker 4: If the Patriots, who have won seventeen games this year,
- 37:25Speaker 4: win one more, and yet it kind of feels like
- 37:27Speaker 4: like that, you know, like like that, it feels like
- 37:29Speaker 4: everyone Patriots, everyone's against us.
- 37:32Speaker 2: I don't know if everyone's I.
- 37:33Speaker 6: Don't actually think that's true.
- 37:35Speaker 3: In general, people have just watched a lot of football,
- 37:38Speaker 3: and Cynthia and I have come to our conclusion. Greg

- 39:18Speaker 3: The jibbl and Mike McDonald. That and so much more,
- 39:21Speaker 3: including our friends Cynthia Freeland. Summer Ball Sunday, nine am
- 39:25Speaker 3: on NFL Network. Here's the MVP odds according to our
- 39:28Speaker 3: friends at Caesar's. A couple of Patriots represented Drake May
- 39:32Speaker 3: and Ramandre Stevenson.
- 39:33Speaker 2: Other than that, it is.
- 39:34Speaker 3: All Seahawks, Sam Donald and jsm at the top four
- 39:39Speaker 3: Seattle bringing.
- 39:40Speaker 2: Us to write this down.
- 39:43Speaker 3: You've seen the odds, So let's make our picks for
- 39:45Speaker 3: Super Bowl MVP.
- 39:47Speaker 2: Who wins the MVP of Super Bowl six?
- 39:49Speaker 4: Oh, we already picked the game. So I picked the Patriots,
- 39:51Speaker 4: and if the Patriots win, it's going to be Drake May.
- 39:54Speaker 4: And I do think Drake May's pocket presence is something
- 39:57Speaker 4: to watching this game sometimes He's almost beautifully oblivious to
- 40:01Speaker 4: what is around him, and I'm kind of hoping that
- 40:03Speaker 4: mindset carries over to the entire experience in game that
- 40:07Speaker 4: he's not thinking about it. So, yes, there's gonna be
- 40:09Speaker 4: pressure around him, but I think he stands in subtly
- 40:12Speaker 4: moves away from that pressure and gets that MVP.
- 40:15Speaker 6: So thirty four or sixty MVPs have been.
- 40:18Speaker 5: Quarterbacks before, which is probably smart, And only ten defensive
- 40:22Speaker 5: players have ever won the award, Well why not the
- 40:25Speaker 5: eleventh in this one?
- 40:26Speaker 6: And Nick Evenwari is my.
- 40:27Speaker 5: Selection for this because if you're going to pick a
- 40:29Speaker 5: long shot, which he absolutely is, you want a guy
- 40:32Speaker 5: who can both get pressures which he has the most
- 40:34Speaker 5: pressures for any defensive back, and potentially get an interception.
- 40:37Speaker 6: So if you want to be on the right side.
- 40:40Speaker 5: Of like I'm going to pick a defender, pick the
- 40:42Speaker 5: one who's most likely to do a thing.
- 40:43Speaker 6: He's doing all the things, so you might as well
- 40:46Speaker 6: pick him.
- 40:46Speaker 4: Last time they won a Super Bowl was Malcolm Smith,
- 40:48Speaker 4: so you never know what's gonna happen.
- 40:50Speaker 2: It could be anybody.
- 40:51Speaker 3: It could also be I picked for Super Bowl MVP
- 40:53Speaker 3: because I think the quarterbacks have an advantage in this
- 40:55Speaker 3: because they're going to touch the paul on every single play.
- 40:58Speaker 3: Who else touches the ball a lot running backs? And
- 41:00Speaker 3: I'll pick Kenneth Walker the Third will be the Super
- 41:02Speaker 3: Bowl MVP based on his formance in the postseason. Oh
- 41:05Speaker 3: omar space, I'm sorry you had to see that particular
- 41:08Speaker 3: highlight again, but he's not just doing that so rams defenders.
- 41:11Speaker 3: Kenneth Walker the Third can do this to anybody on
- 41:13Speaker 3: the football field.
- 41:15Speaker 2: It could be hard to predict, it could be unpredictable.
- 41:17Speaker 3: Look, that's him as a player, and I think gets
- 41:19Speaker 3: them an extra bit of hardware. Guy, it's the best
- 41:22Speaker 3: gift other than winning the Lebardi Trophies, getting to do
- 41:24Speaker 3: this show with you guys.
- 41:26Speaker 4: Tell me, guy, it was it.
- 41:27Speaker 2: Was a pleasure.
- 41:28Speaker 4: It was it was an honor, and it's amazing to
- 41:31Speaker 4: finish this whole thing up on a just Greg.
- 41:33Speaker 3: Being right, finish all the nice things you could say
- 41:36Speaker 3: with you guys as well. Thank you for being a
- 41:38Speaker 3: part of this program. Thanks for watching Game debut for
