- 0:02It's no secret that
- 0:03President Trump
- 0:04seems to
- 0:05have simply seized all
- 0:06executive power, and
- 0:07it's easy to shift
- 0:08the blame to him, but
- 0:09the reality is that
- 0:10he has a whole network of
- 0:12support that
- 0:13propels him and keeps him
- 0:14in power. And I think it's
- 0:20very important,
- 0:21as we're just
- 0:23days away from the
- 0:24midterm elections in the
- 0:25United States,
- 0:26that people understand the
- 0:27role that Congress does
- 0:28or does not play
- 0:29in
- 0:29checking
- 0:30presidential power
- 0:31. And to
- 0:35illustrate this and
- 0:36show you
- 0:37how
- 0:38frustrating it is, my
- 0:39own congressman is a
- 0:40classic example of a
- 0:41MAGA puppet. So, I
- 0:46want to show you how
- 0:48it works and, of course, what
- 0:49it ultimately means
- 0:50for the real
- 0:51voters in my
- 0:52district. Our
- 0:55congressman here in the 11th
- 0:57district of Texas is a
- 0:58man named August
- 1:00Fluger. And Fluger
- 1:02seems like a classic
- 1:03politician. An Air Force officer
- 1:05, he served briefly
- 1:06on the National
- 1:08Security Council, and then in
- 1:092019 was effectively
- 1:12ousted from the
- 1:13National Security Council
- 1:14specifically to
- 1:15run for
- 1:16Texas' 11th congressional district. And
- 1:18his opponent. We
- 1:22actually
- 1:23had Claire Reynolds on the channel
- 1:25when she was a
- 1:27primary candidate, and she had
- 1:28just had a debate with
- 1:29Fluger, and the
- 1:30points he had to
- 1:32make clearly
- 1:33showed me
- 1:34how much of a MAGA puppet this
- 1:35guy is
- 1:35. And I
- 1:41just want to show
- 1:42you a few of his
- 1:43lines so you
- 1:44understand how much
- 1:45he is a mouthpiece for
- 1:46President Trump.
- 1:50Yes. First, when
- 1:52asked about the
- 1:52national debt during the debate,
- 1:53Flueger simply
- 1:54outright lied,
- 1:55stating that he
- 1:56approved
- 1:58$1.5 trillion in spending cuts. This is
- 2:02almost unbelievably
- 2:03untrue, considering
- 2:04that the actual
- 2:05national deficit
- 2:06this year was
- 2:08nearly $2 trillion
- 2:09. The biggest
- 2:16deficits are not in times of
- 2:17emergency, and when
- 2:19asked about
- 2:19immigration, he
- 2:21lied again that there was an
- 2:22“open
- 2:23borders” policy. We have
- 2:27repeatedly
- 2:27said on this
- 2:28channel that Joe Biden
- 2:30deported millions of
- 2:31people and effectively
- 2:32closed the border for almost the
- 2:33entire duration of the
- 2:34COVID pandemic. He
- 2:36only reopened it because the
- 2:37courts forced him to.
- 2:40So, again, this
- 2:42only makes sense because it's
- 2:43almost verbatim
- 2:44President
- 2:45Trump's thesis. And I was really
- 2:48surprised when he
- 2:49was asked about the war with
- 2:51Iran. When
- 2:54asked about the war with
- 2:56Iran, he literally
- 2:57quoted
- 2:58the president,
- 2:59claiming that we have
- 3:00been at
- 3:01war with Iran for 47
- 3:03years, claiming that
- 3:04Iran has allegedly carried out
- 3:05350 attacks on
- 3:06American troops
- 3:08. Things that are just
- 3:10objectively
- 3:11untrue. Again
- 3:13, no
- 3:14American sincerely
- 3:15believes that we have been at war with
- 3:17Iran for 47 years. This is
- 3:20Orwell's real "1984". And obviously,
- 3:24as we've already heard on
- 3:25this channel,
- 3:26for example, Claire
- 3:27Reynolds
- 3:32agrees that this is
- 3:33complete absurdity, and
- 3:34tries
- 3:35to operate with facts and
- 3:36the law, which makes it
- 3:37difficult to confront
- 3:38someone who is willing to not
- 3:39just lie, but
- 3:40lie on behalf of the
- 3:41president, acting
- 3:43in unison with him. And
- 3:47the craziest thing is
- 3:54that this is part of the system
- 3:55, and Fluger is deeply
- 3:56rooted in this
- 3:58seemingly quite
- 3:59corrupt system
- 4:00that supports
- 4:01the president. Because you
- 4:04might think, "Oh,
- 4:06the answer is on
- 4:06the surface—August
- 4:07Flueger just loves
- 4:09Donald Trump, that's
- 4:10all." But this is an incomplete
- 4:13picture of how it
- 4:14actually works. As
- 4:19we've said, polling data
- 4:21makes it quite clear that
- 4:22roughly
- 4:23a third to half of the
- 4:24Republican
- 4:25Party are cultists of
- 4:27Donald Trump. These are
- 4:30individual voters who
- 4:32truly agree
- 4:33with the statement that
- 4:34supporting Donald
- 4:35Trump is an important
- 4:36expression of my faith. In
- 4:38their eyes, Trump can do no
- 4:39wrong. They
- 4:41believe he is
- 4:42literally anointed by
- 4:43God. And of course, if
- 4:45someone is anointed by
- 4:46God, no amount of
- 4:48Jeffrey Epstein connections or
- 4:49threats of genocide against
- 4:50Iranians will change
- 4:51their minds. If
- 4:53God says it is
- 4:54allowed, then
- 4:55it is good. So your
- 4:59MAGA-supporting uncle
- 5:00forms the base of
- 5:02Donald Trump's pyramid. Here are
- 5:05your MAGA voters. But
- 5:07MAGA voters, yes, they
- 5:08helped bring
- 5:10Trump to power, but
- 5:11they are necessary
- 5:12but not sufficient. And
- 5:16you have to understand
- 5:17that Congress and
- 5:18congressmen like
- 5:19Fluger have two
- 5:20roles. The first is to give
- 5:22Trump the opportunity
- 5:24to continue his
- 5:25policies. And Fluger
- 5:26did just that. He
- 5:27voted for one
- 5:28big and wonderful
- 5:29bill. Again
- 5:31, investing
- 5:32$2 trillion,
- 5:34borrowing $22 trillion
- 5:35to
- 5:36fund the government
- 5:37for no real
- 5:38reason. He also,
- 5:43notably, refused
- 5:49to certify the
- 5:49results of the
- 5:512020 election, reinforcing
- 5:52President
- 5:54Trump's claims that the
- 5:552020 election was
- 5:56fraudulent and
- 5:57invalid, which is a
- 5:59crazy idea
- 6:00since August
- 6:01Flueger won his
- 6:03election in 2020. So
- 6:05he literally
- 6:06took office and
- 6:07then came back and
- 6:08said, "Actually,
- 6:09guys, my own
- 6:10election was
- 6:11fraudulent," which is
- 6:12pretty crazy. In
- 6:152023, he also
- 6:16promoted a resolution
- 6:18stating that the State of
- 6:19Israel is not a
- 6:20racist or
- 6:21apartheid state,
- 6:22that Congress rejects
- 6:23all forms of
- 6:24anti-Semitism and
- 6:25xenophobia, and that the United States
- 6:26will always be a loyal
- 6:28partner and
- 6:29supporter of Israel
- 6:30, which is a pretty strong
- 6:31statement. In fact, he
- 6:35also wrote an article
- 6:36arguing
- 6:37that Congress
- 6:38should never impose
- 6:39any conditions on
- 6:40aid to
- 6:41Israel. Like,
- 6:43Israel could
- 6:44use our
- 6:45aid to
- 6:46literally
- 6:48feed children to a
- 6:50wood chipper. Israel could
- 6:52even use our aid to
- 6:53attack
- 6:54Americans, and it
- 6:55should still be given to
- 6:56Israel. This is a pretty
- 6:57crazy position.
- 7:01But this is exactly the kind of
- 7:02madness that,
- 7:03again, the
- 7:05MAGA base believes in, because, as we
- 7:06said, they
- 7:07believe that
- 7:08Trump's will reflects that of an
- 7:09almost
- 7:10religious figure, and
- 7:17Fluger is the embodiment of
- 7:18that. But the reason
- 7:20he embodies
- 7:22this is also in what
- 7:23he does, or rather, what
- 7:24he doesn't do.
- 7:27So, by his
- 7:27presence in
- 7:28Congress, he is
- 7:29hindering many
- 7:30other important things.
- 7:43He has stopped almost every policy that could have ensured any kind of accountability for President Trump. Yes.
- 7:45In particular, any
- 7:46resolution regarding war
- 7:48with Iran. Every
- 7:50time the matter
- 7:51came up for
- 7:51consideration in the House of
- 7:53Representatives,
- 7:54any attempt by Congress to
- 7:55authorize or
- 7:56condemn the war in
- 7:57Iran was to overturn the
- 7:58authorization, as
- 7:59required by the Constitution.
- 8:01He and other
- 8:01MAGA Republicans are
- 8:02simply killing these
- 8:04initiatives so they
- 8:05never see the
- 8:06light of day. There are all these
- 8:09mechanisms that
- 8:10Congress could
- 8:11use to
- 8:12authorize or
- 8:13control the White
- 8:14House, but they
- 8:15choose not to
- 8:16use them.
- 8:17They could
- 8:18stop
- 8:18funding at
- 8:19any time. They
- 8:20could change
- 8:21the funding of offices.
- 8:25And that was done,
- 8:26or at least
- 8:27attempted to be done, by
- 8:28making
- 8:29Pete Hegseth's travel budget conditional on
- 8:30the introduction of
- 8:31certain
- 8:32parliamentary
- 8:33oversight reforms that would give
- 8:34Congress access to how the
- 8:35military
- 8:36spends money. Something that
- 8:39the Constitution and the
- 8:40Supreme Court
- 8:42have repeatedly recognized as necessary
- 8:43. Again,
- 8:44people like August Flueger
- 8:45stop such
- 8:46accountability. Even
- 8:48basic things like
- 8:49allowing Congress
- 8:51to visit
- 8:51military bases to
- 8:52observe how
- 8:53the budget is being spent.
- 8:55This is a basic function
- 8:56of Congress, because it's
- 8:57obvious that it's
- 8:58impossible to write a
- 8:59military budget
- 9:00if you don't know what the
- 9:02military does. And
- 9:04the fact that
- 9:04President Trump
- 9:05has denied Congress
- 9:06this basic level of
- 9:08oversight is something that
- 9:09should offend even
- 9:10moderate
- 9:11Republicans. But
- 9:13as long as there are
- 9:14congressmen like August
- 9:15Flueger, there will never
- 9:16be the political will
- 9:17to push for
- 9:18any sanctions or
- 9:19condemnations. So you have
- 9:22MAGA congressmen
- 9:23who are engaged in both
- 9:25action and
- 9:25inaction. And this
- 9:29ability to simultaneously
- 9:30facilitate the
- 9:31president's actions and
- 9:32actively sabotage
- 9:33efforts to hold
- 9:34him
- 9:35accountable—that's
- 9:36part of this "
- 9:37middle ground,"
- 9:38right? You might
- 9:43think, "You know, this sounds
- 9:44a bit like
- 9:46Putin's Russia." And boy,
- 9:48if you think it's
- 9:50similar, should we be
- 9:51talking about it? Because
- 9:55to gain
- 9:56such control,
- 9:57again, you need
- 9:59these people in the middle,
- 10:00these administrative
- 10:01supporters who
- 10:02facilitate his actions and
- 10:03stop any
- 10:04obstacles or
- 10:05countermeasures. Some of
- 10:09them are ideologues who
- 10:11truly believe in it.
- 10:12But, as we have seen,
- 10:13President Trump
- 10:14has no ideology.
- 10:15Remember, he was
- 10:16elected as Mr. "No
- 10:17Foreign Wars," but
- 10:18now he is Mr. "All
- 10:19Foreign Wars."
- 10:21Remember, he
- 10:22was elected as Mr. "
- 10:23Let's cut the budget," they
- 10:24say, let's cut
- 10:25the budget, take
- 10:26control of government
- 10:27spending, Doge
- 10:28is going to
- 10:29redo everything. But now
- 10:31it has a deficit of
- 10:32$2 trillion.
- 10:33So there aren't
- 10:34many real
- 10:35ideologues in Congress who say,
- 10:37"Oh, I believe in these things."
- 10:38Trump believes in
- 10:39these things too, and we can
- 10:40work together. He is
- 10:42not one of those people. So
- 10:44why is he doing this?
- 10:45The answer is for the exact
- 10:46same reason the
- 10:48oligarchs support
- 10:49Putin. For the same
- 10:51reason, in fact,
- 10:52many
- 10:53organized
- 10:54crime syndicates operate
- 10:55. And these are what you could
- 10:59call bullets or
- 11:00ingots, right?
- 11:02The carrot and the stick. These
- 11:05guys are being offered
- 11:06fabulous riches
- 11:07if they promote
- 11:09President Trump's activities and
- 11:10threatened with severe
- 11:11punishment if
- 11:12they denounce it.
- 11:16So, let me
- 11:17break down the
- 11:18August Flueger universe right
- 11:19now. despite being
- 11:21in
- 11:22one of the
- 11:22safest
- 11:23Republican
- 11:24districts in the country. The weather
- 11:26vane still
- 11:27managed to raise
- 11:28over $3 million
- 11:29. And a lot of
- 11:32that money, almost all of it,
- 11:34essentially, comes
- 11:35from
- 11:36Midland,
- 11:37Texas oil interests. Literally
- 11:39one city, which is the
- 11:41headquarters of Texas
- 11:42oil, donated a
- 11:43simply staggering
- 11:44amount of money. And it's
- 11:48actually quite
- 11:49comical, because the donations
- 11:50come from
- 11:51the husband, and then there are
- 11:52matching donations
- 11:53from the wife, who is,
- 11:54you know, a professional
- 11:55housewife. But
- 11:58you see, all these
- 11:59people come from
- 12:00Midland, Texas.
- 12:05They all come from
- 12:06oil and gas
- 12:07interests, and that's
- 12:07not surprising at all. It
- 12:11also receives significant
- 12:12contributions from
- 12:14APAC-related foundations. But
- 12:18you can
- 12:19see quite clearly that by
- 12:20supporting Trump,
- 12:22he is able to
- 12:22fill his
- 12:23coffers to
- 12:24enormous proportions
- 12:25, and I just want
- 12:26to show you this so
- 12:28you understand
- 12:28how
- 12:29enormous it is. One more
- 12:32thing I want to
- 12:33bring to your attention:
- 12:34yes, he makes
- 12:36a lot of money in this
- 12:37oil and gas industry,
- 12:38but he also has
- 12:39something that a lot of
- 12:41politicians have, which is...I'm
- 12:42going to
- 12:43assume here. This is the point
- 12:44where we move
- 12:45into speculation, but I will
- 12:46present the evidence. I'll
- 12:47let you draw your own
- 12:48conclusions,
- 12:49okay? But, like Nancy
- 12:50Pelosi, Nancy Pelosi
- 12:51doesn't trade stocks,
- 12:52my friends. I don't know if
- 12:53you knew that.
- 12:55Nancy Pelosi's husband trades
- 12:56stocks. Nancy Pelosi is a civil
- 12:58servant. Paul
- 12:59Pelosi, her husband, is a
- 13:00private individual who
- 13:01can make any
- 13:02deals he wants.
- 13:04Now, the fact that
- 13:06he has a family
- 13:07relationship, a deep
- 13:08trusting relationship with
- 13:09Nancy, that's, you know, a
- 13:17footnote. This has no
- 13:18legal
- 13:19force. And I
- 13:23hypothesize that
- 13:24August Flueger's brother, Carl
- 13:26Flueger, is, oddly enough, the
- 13:27president of an
- 13:28oil and gas
- 13:29company in Midland,
- 13:31Texas,
- 13:32called Orics Midstream Services.
- 13:36In particular, friends, and I
- 13:37want you to remember
- 13:39this. Orex Midstream Services
- 13:41is a
- 13:42pipeline
- 13:43services provider. They
- 13:44are engaged in
- 13:44the transportation of
- 13:45oil. You pump
- 13:47oil out of the ground, and
- 13:48August Flueger's brother
- 13:49ensures it
- 13:50gets where it
- 13:51needs to go. So, if
- 13:52you're extracting oil
- 13:53from the ground in Midland,
- 13:55Texas, in the
- 13:55Permian Basin,
- 13:56August Flueger's brother
- 13:58delivers it to its
- 13:59destination. So it's
- 14:01quite interesting that
- 14:02the people who are funding
- 14:04his campaign are also
- 14:05from Midland,
- 14:06Texas, and are also
- 14:08his brother's biggest clients.
- 14:11Nothing strange,
- 14:12right? We literally
- 14:15see an
- 14:16oil
- 14:17company from Midland,
- 14:18Texas,
- 14:19donating to the campaign of the
- 14:20brother of the person who
- 14:21owns the pipes to
- 14:22pump it. It's
- 14:25kind of suspicious, is
- 14:27n't it? So, let's
- 14:29talk
- 14:30about the "bullet" part first
- 14:31. Why does August
- 14:33continue to
- 14:35defend and do what
- 14:36President
- 14:37Trump wants? Well, there is a risk.
- 14:39The risk, most obviously, is that
- 14:41you
- 14:41get Thomas
- 14:43Massey. And Thomas Massey
- 14:44can't even find the
- 14:45words. Here he is, here he is,
- 14:46here he is on
- 14:47Twitter just
- 14:48a few days ago,
- 14:48saying: quote: “Here’s
- 14:49how Trump threatens
- 14:50to nominate a competitor to
- 14:51any
- 14:51Republican who
- 14:52dares
- 14:53to vote against
- 14:54his bill, and
- 14:55they all fall into
- 14:55line. That's how, in
- 14:56this case, the
- 14:58FBI funding bill survives.
- 14:59"Messi says: 'It's all
- 15:01theater.'" Refuse
- 15:02to be an actor. “And that’s a
- 15:03huge part of
- 15:05it. President
- 15:07Trump is very openly
- 15:08endorsing candidates
- 15:10down to the state level, and
- 15:11these candidates have
- 15:12about a 96% chance of
- 15:14winning their
- 15:15primaries. And
- 15:18by supporting,
- 15:19by choosing, in whose
- 15:20favor he tips the
- 15:21scales, he is
- 15:24simply choosing who
- 15:25will win in the
- 15:26Republican
- 15:27primaries. So if
- 15:28you want to win,
- 15:29you have to be like
- 15:30August Fluger. You
- 15:31should kiss
- 15:32his ass. And that's what
- 15:33happened to Thomas
- 15:35Massey. Thomas Massey has
- 15:36been prominently pushing for the
- 15:37release of the
- 15:38Epstein files, critically
- 15:39disagreeing with
- 15:40Trump. Uh, it's worth
- 15:41noting that the
- 15:42Epstein files, despite being
- 15:44horrific and
- 15:45essentially confirming
- 15:46Trump's long-standing friendship with
- 15:47Epstein, and also
- 15:48exposing other
- 15:49members of the administration
- 15:51, like Howard
- 15:52Latnick, as
- 15:53Epstein's clients, uh, no one, no
- 15:54one suffered any
- 15:55consequences. How even
- 15:57Howard Latnick kept
- 15:58his job. So, on the
- 15:59one hand, he says,
- 16:00“Yes, we can
- 16:01put up
- 16:02another candidate against you. "
- 16:03But there is another, deeper
- 16:04threat that says:
- 16:04if you further
- 16:05anger President
- 16:07Trump, he can
- 16:07send you to
- 16:08prison." You remember,
- 16:11Congressional candidate Sy Ogazalia, a
- 16:12candidate for
- 16:13Illinois' 10th district,
- 16:14was indicted by a
- 16:15federal grand
- 16:16jury, but
- 16:17the charges
- 16:18were later dropped because the grand
- 16:20jury was misled
- 16:21about a protest
- 16:22she attended. Uh,
- 16:24of course, there was also a
- 16:25candidate for the
- 16:26Cook County Board of Commissioners.
- 16:29Uh, there was also
- 16:30Lamonica MacGyver, the
- 16:31U.S. Representative from
- 16:32New Jersey, who also
- 16:34faced
- 16:35federal
- 16:35charges, uh,
- 16:37after protesting at an
- 16:39ICE immigration detention center. And while a
- 16:40federal judge
- 16:41denied her
- 16:42motion to
- 16:43dismiss two of
- 16:43the charges against
- 16:44her, the
- 16:45indictments themselves are
- 16:46almost comically
- 16:47lame. They
- 16:48say she
- 16:49did, uh, uh,
- 16:49maybe had a
- 16:50brief
- 16:51fleeting
- 16:52encounter with an ICE officer.
- 16:53Uh, but this is what
- 16:54President Trump is
- 16:55sending
- 16:55a message to the entire
- 16:56Congress to say,
- 16:57"Listen, if you make
- 16:59me really angry, I can do
- 17:00this to you. I can
- 17:01make you go
- 17:02through all the circles of hell
- 17:03in the federal
- 17:04court system. "And
- 17:05President Trump knows
- 17:06that this is a punishment, because it is
- 17:07incredibly expensive
- 17:09to fight even the
- 17:09most
- 17:10trumped-up
- 17:11charges, because
- 17:12remember,
- 17:12President Trump
- 17:13was found guilty
- 17:14of 32 counts of
- 17:16crimes in
- 17:17federal court. And
- 17:18we see this with
- 17:19other political
- 17:20enemies, don't we?
- 17:22Remember, he
- 17:22indicted
- 17:24New York State Attorney General
- 17:25Letitia James for
- 17:26mortgage
- 17:27fraud—a case
- 17:28that was ridiculed in court.
- 17:30Again, she
- 17:31appeared in
- 17:32federal court,
- 17:33pleaded not guilty, and the
- 17:35case was essentially
- 17:36...dismissed and
- 17:39completely closed, and the
- 17:40case itself was
- 17:41simply ridiculed in
- 17:42court. James Comey has
- 17:44also been repeatedly
- 17:45indicted over
- 17:46and over again, despite the fact that
- 17:48he literally
- 17:48helped Trump
- 17:49win the
- 17:512016 election, and every
- 17:52charge against
- 17:53him has also been ridiculed
- 17:54in court, but not before
- 17:55he had to
- 17:56pay huge
- 17:58fees to his
- 18:00defense attorneys. The companies
- 18:01donating funds to
- 18:02these MAGA candidates
- 18:04for Congress also
- 18:05know there is a
- 18:06threat. They still have a bullet in front of them
- 18:09, figuratively speaking, a
- 18:10target. Look,
- 18:11for example, at Disney and
- 18:13ABC, to whom Trump bluntly
- 18:14said, "I want the FCC to
- 18:16punish Disney for
- 18:17airing
- 18:18Stephen Colbert's show,
- 18:19which makes fun of me." And
- 18:21they did it.
- 18:22In fact, the FCC required
- 18:23eight local
- 18:24ABC stations to
- 18:25apply for
- 18:26license renewals years
- 18:27ahead of
- 18:28schedule. Disney's lawyers
- 18:29were forced to
- 18:30argue that these actions
- 18:31were directed
- 18:32against them because of
- 18:33ABC's editorial policies, which illegally
- 18:34interfered with freedom of the
- 18:35press. Amazon. In 2019,
- 18:38Amazon accused the
- 18:40Trump administration of
- 18:42forcing the Department of
- 18:44Defense to reject
- 18:45Amazon's bid for a
- 18:47huge
- 18:48Pentagon contract
- 18:49precisely because Jeff
- 18:51Bezos, Amazon's founder,
- 18:52also owns the Washington
- 18:53Post, which has been critical of
- 18:55Trump. The 2017 merger of AT&T and
- 19:01Time Warner was
- 19:02blocked by
- 19:04Trump's Justice Department on
- 19:06antitrust
- 19:07charges in part—or
- 19:09rather, allegedly—
- 19:10because CNN
- 19:11criticized Trump, and
- 19:13CNN, of course, was owned by Time
- 19:14Warner. And, of course, every
- 19:19law firm that
- 19:20took on
- 19:21someone the administration didn't
- 19:22like as a client
- 19:23also
- 19:24faced severe
- 19:25sanctions and large
- 19:27fines from the
- 19:27administration. So...
- 19:33You also saw
- 19:35Trump's revenge campaign against
- 19:36social media and
- 19:37Section 230 after
- 19:38he was kicked off
- 19:39some of those
- 19:40platforms for calling on
- 19:41his supporters to
- 19:42storm the
- 19:43Capitol. Again
- 19:44, an event that August
- 19:46Flueger fully
- 19:47supports and whose
- 19:48pardons he
- 19:49fully approves of. I
- 19:51point these things out
- 19:52because there are clear dire consequences for both
- 19:53the donors who
- 19:54support these
- 19:55guys and the
- 19:56candidates themselves of
- 19:59crossing
- 20:00Trump's path. But the other
- 20:03side is the "golden"
- 20:05part, right? And there is a
- 20:09lot to be
- 20:09gained by becoming
- 20:10Donald
- 20:12Trump's puppet. And when you
- 20:15look, you see
- 20:17first and foremost
- 20:17the most obvious thing:
- 20:18even if you
- 20:19are in a district
- 20:20where victory is
- 20:21guaranteed, where everything is
- 20:22too simple, it is worth
- 20:24noting that August
- 20:25Flueger
- 20:26ran
- 20:27unopposed last year. He had
- 20:32no opponents,
- 20:33but he still raised
- 20:35a ton of money, and for
- 20:36this election
- 20:37cycle, he raised nearly
- 20:38$2.5 million in a
- 20:39district that
- 20:40most analysts
- 20:42consider
- 20:42uncompetitive. I would like to
- 20:46note that Claire
- 20:48Reynolds
- 20:49only raised $30,000.
- 20:53So, Fluger collected
- 20:54an amount equal to
- 20:56the price of a
- 20:56Tomahawk missile, and Claire collected
- 20:58the amount equal to the cost of a
- 20:59used Toyota Corolla.
- 21:06The reason is pretty
- 21:07obvious: Claire
- 21:07Reynolds is a lawyer
- 21:09and country mom, and
- 21:10August Flueger is a
- 21:11Donald
- 21:12Trump puppet and a leader of
- 21:13the interests of the
- 21:15Texas oil industry. So, first of all
- 21:20, if you are a
- 21:21candidate, you can
- 21:23make a lot of
- 21:24money. But this is not the
- 21:27only source, because
- 21:28we said that his
- 21:29brother is a family member,
- 21:30let's say, his
- 21:31closest circle
- 21:33. And assuming,
- 21:39as I think is
- 21:40quite fair,
- 21:41that your brother's interests
- 21:42coincide with yours,
- 21:44that if your brother's
- 21:45things are going well,
- 21:46then so are yours—that's
- 21:47usually how it
- 21:48works. Interestingly,
- 21:55his brother was allowed to
- 21:57invest
- 21:58$10 million in
- 21:59Truth Social when it was
- 22:00founded in December
- 22:022021, just a
- 22:03few months after
- 22:05Flueger
- 22:06took office. And what's
- 22:13fascinating is that we
- 22:14don't know what
- 22:15percentage of
- 22:17Truth Social's ownership that $10
- 22:18million investment gave
- 22:20, but the company is now
- 22:21valued at
- 22:23$2.44 billion. So
- 22:25, according to my estimates,
- 22:27the capital has increased
- 22:28at least tenfold
- 22:29. Karl Flueger is one
- 22:31of the largest
- 22:32investors. And here you
- 22:33see the market
- 22:34capitalization—2.26
- 22:36billion. And that's a
- 22:37significant drop, by the way,
- 22:39guys. At its peak, it
- 22:40probably cost
- 22:42almost 10 times
- 22:43as much. So,
- 22:44the price was probably closer to
- 22:45$20 billion.
- 22:50But this is not all
- 22:51the enrichment, this is not the
- 22:52only profit that the
- 22:53oil and gas
- 22:54pipeline
- 22:55company owned by
- 22:57August Flueger's brother has received.
- 23:00In fact, Orics Midstream
- 23:02Services, Karl
- 23:03Flueger's company, received
- 23:05an investment of 550
- 23:06million—almost half a
- 23:07billion dollars—
- 23:09from who would you think?
- 23:11From the Qatar
- 23:12Investment
- 23:13Authority. Ha?
- 23:15Qataris. And aren't these the
- 23:17same people who gave
- 23:18Donald Trump a
- 23:20$400 million private jet
- 23:21around the same
- 23:22time? Strange, isn't it?
- 23:26And again, it's quite
- 23:27strange that the CEO of
- 23:30Qatar's investment authority has
- 23:31invested in a direct
- 23:32competitor to
- 23:33Saudi oil
- 23:34money, which seems
- 23:35a bit strange. But what
- 23:40luck. I mean,
- 23:42half a billion dollars
- 23:43is a lot of money. But
- 23:45there are a few other
- 23:46strange transactions
- 23:47that look too good to be
- 23:48true. For example,
- 23:50although the trade
- 23:51war with Canada
- 23:52recently flared up
- 23:54with renewed vigor, it is worth
- 23:55noting that in
- 23:56May 2025 they
- 23:59found that the situation
- 24:00had calmed down somewhat.
- 24:02Canada effectively
- 24:03suspended
- 24:04most of its
- 24:05response,
- 24:06and...a meeting was held
- 24:13where there seemed to be a
- 24:14real
- 24:15opportunity for
- 24:16progress; Carney and
- 24:17Trump met.
- 24:20They said a few
- 24:21nice words
- 24:22about each other.
- 24:23Trade
- 24:24tensions seemed to be easing, and in
- 24:25that wonderful
- 24:26little window in the
- 24:28first quarter of 2026
- 24:29. Well, in June 2025,
- 24:35All Planes
- 24:36American Pipeline, which was the
- 24:38parent
- 24:39company of Orex Holdings,
- 24:40coincidentally
- 24:41used this
- 24:42short window to
- 24:44sell its
- 24:45Canadian business for
- 24:46$4 billion to an
- 24:48oil company from
- 24:49Canada. And then, as soon as
- 24:54the deal was
- 24:55closed, the trade
- 24:57war suddenly
- 24:57resumed. July
- 25:002026, tariffs 50% or
- 25:02more. Isn't that right?
- 25:05Again, I
- 25:07mean, the timing is
- 25:08just perfect,
- 25:09right?
- 25:12Everything seemed to be going well. Carney is
- 25:15repealing tariffs,
- 25:16right? Everything looked
- 25:17great. And then, in
- 25:20July, right after
- 25:21the deal closed,
- 25:23all the tariffs suddenly came back. So that's
- 25:32one of the things that
- 25:34bothers me so much: this
- 25:34looks like the actions of an
- 25:37influence-peddling politician whose family is
- 25:38making huge
- 25:39money in the
- 25:40oil and gas industry
- 25:41through
- 25:41insider
- 25:42information. And
- 25:54running against them is
- 25:55a person who
- 25:55behaves honestly,
- 25:57has no super-rich
- 25:58relatives, and is literally
- 25:59running a modest election
- 26:00campaign
- 26:01focused on the
- 26:01rule of law
- 26:03and caring for
- 26:03ordinary people. Is
- 26:09n't that right? Of course, we
- 26:10had Claire on the channel.
- 26:11If it's not obvious, I'm
- 26:13going to vote
- 26:14for her. And the reason
- 26:15I say this outright is because
- 26:16, first of all
- 26:18, in 2024, I didn't
- 26:19say outright
- 26:20which candidate I
- 26:21thought I should
- 26:22vote for. I
- 26:24tried to hint
- 26:25at this, but I also
- 26:26think it's part of a
- 26:28civic
- 26:29duty to say:
- 26:30this is an election where I
- 26:31live. These are the issues that are
- 26:33important to me, and that's
- 26:34who I'm voting for.
- 26:37And of course, if you
- 26:38want to
- 26:39contribute to her campaign,
- 26:41you can go to
- 26:42clarinsforcongress.org, or I
- 26:43think I would also
- 26:44encourage you to do
- 26:46the same in your
- 26:47district. You would be
- 26:48surprised in the age of
- 26:50AI, right? You should
- 26:51be able to
- 26:52ask: hello, this is
- 26:53my address. Can
- 26:54you tell me who the
- 26:55candidates are here? And
- 26:56even if your
- 26:57chances are slim, because the
- 26:58other thing is,
- 26:59even if you
- 27:00say, "Oh my god,
- 27:01Claire has no chance."
- 27:04Why should I
- 27:05vote, because the very
- 27:07presence of
- 27:08insurgent candidates forced me
- 27:09to spend $2.5 million
- 27:11, which would otherwise have
- 27:12gone to other
- 27:13candidates, on a
- 27:14safe district. And
- 27:18every time you
- 27:19make that MAGA money
- 27:21just burn
- 27:22itself out, you still
- 27:23achieve some
- 27:24level of victory. So I
- 27:29think, I hope,
- 27:31you found this valuable.
- 27:33I hope you
- 27:34find this important,
- 27:36and I really hope
- 27:37you do the same
- 27:38in your districts, and
- 27:40if you are in the 11th District of
- 27:41Texas, you will go out and
- 27:42cast your vote
- 27:44for Claire, as well as the
- 27:45other candidates
- 27:46that you have
- 27:47researched and
- 27:48support. I
- 27:50mean, again,
- 27:51it almost went without
- 27:52saying, in the
- 27:54Texas Senate race, James Trico
- 27:55and Ken Paxton. I
- 27:57mean, you'd have to be
- 27:58brainless not to
- 27:59see that Trico is a
- 28:00decent man with
- 28:02real
- 28:02values, and Ken
- 28:03Paxton is a
- 28:04real criminal.
- 28:07So I don't even know
- 28:08what else to tell you.
- 28:10Thank you to all the
- 28:11"Colonel" level participants. By
- 28:13the way, in no way am I
- 28:14implying that
- 28:16membership at the
- 28:17Colonel level supports
- 28:18any
- 28:19political
- 28:20candidate, right? But
- 28:22John T., Kevin, Michael,
- 28:23Rob, William, Al,
- 28:24lieutenants, right?
- 28:26Again, these
- 28:26guys here
- 28:27support me,
- 28:28support what I
- 28:28do. Thank you
- 28:29guys for what you
- 28:30do and see you
- 28:31in the next issue.
- 28:32See you later.
