Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Rebecca Frank Dallet talks about why jury service matters, the role jurors play in our democracy, and why their service deserves recognition. A jury summons does not always come at a convenient time, and many people understandably see it first as an interruption. Justice Dallet’s message is that jury service is also something more: a chance to serve your community, take part in the justice system, and help keep justice in the hands of the people.
