- 0:03Speaker 2: Okay, here we go where.
- 0:05Speaker 1: The plays get broken down and science gets denied the Bench.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Hour two of Off the Bench Live from the Raising
- 0:12Speaker 1: Kine Studio.
- 0:58Speaker 3: All right, welcome back again, O TV here Live from
- 1:01Speaker 3: the Raising Kine Studio.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Jake Flynn, Elandrakta all here with you.
- 1:15Speaker 3: And also that bad joke that Plann keeps trying. They'll
- 1:17Speaker 3: be here for a couple more segments.
- 1:18Speaker 2: I have to imagine it's got a hip. I mean
- 1:26Speaker 2: it already has. Sure.
- 1:35Speaker 3: I'm gonna stand up, you know what, because I saw
- 1:36Speaker 3: a study that if you sit down like a lot
- 1:39Speaker 3: of people sit down for work, you know, nine to five,
- 1:41Speaker 3: if you're in a cubicle, like you're sitting down for
- 1:44Speaker 3: a long time. It's like the effects that sitting down
- 1:47Speaker 3: can do to your body.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Sit for six hours or more a day.
- 1:51Speaker 3: Because there's some people like, if I wanted to, I'd
- 1:53Speaker 3: sit down for six hours. I do two shows three
- 1:56Speaker 3: hours apiece at six hours. Sad, these aren't great, bud,
- 2:00Speaker 3: what your.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Body pretty much just like deteriorates. But what if you
- 2:04Speaker 2: do other things throughout the day to offset six hours.
- 2:08Speaker 3: I don't think I don't think it matters if you
- 2:10Speaker 3: work out. It feels like because everything's just like settles. Yeah, basically,
- 2:15Speaker 3: what about when you sleep? I guess because you're laying
- 2:19Speaker 3: down and not sitting down.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Hmmm, so we should lay down. We get some cots
- 2:25Speaker 2: in here. Not a big deal, big brain. That's why
- 2:28Speaker 2: I thought my legs up like this. You see that
- 2:29Speaker 2: keeps a blood flowing. I don't know. I saw it.
- 2:32Speaker 2: It made me feel like immediately like an old you
- 2:36Speaker 2: know what.
- 2:37Speaker 3: Hmmm, I don't know. Look, we can ask doc about
- 2:40Speaker 3: it tomorrow. I'm just saying that I saw it.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Well, you are supposed to, like on long flights, you're
- 2:44Speaker 2: supposed to get up and walk around a little bit stretch.
- 2:46Speaker 2: We saw Russell Wilson doing it on the plane. I've
- 2:48Speaker 2: heard about Russ. We've we've you're supposed to do that,
- 2:52Speaker 2: or compression socks like the old man socks. Yeah, on
- 2:57Speaker 2: a long long flights, just wear compression socks. I missed that.
- 3:03Speaker 2: The blood will settle go and do that. Maybe Russell
- 3:06Speaker 2: was ahead of his game, like you said that, right
- 3:13Speaker 2: ahead of his time. I don't know time game. Russ
- 3:19Speaker 2: didn't have either of them, possibly, but it was cringe worthy.
- 3:23Speaker 3: I would have loved to have been the guy, like, hey,
- 3:25Speaker 3: is is our starting quarterback doing high knees in the.
- 3:28Speaker 2: Middle of the island? Is he? Oh? Yes, yes he was.
- 3:39Speaker 3: You're gonna really enjoy because that's all you put it
- 3:42Speaker 3: in the dock, your bff Tie Benningfield. Yes, you are
- 3:47Speaker 3: going to love how much the defensive staff the other
- 3:50Speaker 3: day when I was talking with him, wax poetic about
- 3:52Speaker 3: your guy. How validated are you feeling right now about
- 3:57Speaker 3: where he's at?
- 3:58Speaker 4: I mean, he he's stunt. I mean the minute he
- 4:01Speaker 4: entered the transfer port, I was like.
- 4:02Speaker 5: Wait a minute, that's the guy I watched because you know,
- 4:05Speaker 5: we were all watching a lot of Boise State games
- 4:07Speaker 5: a couple of years ago.
- 4:09Speaker 2: After you lost some money all day.
- 4:10Speaker 4: And I mean just he stood out for years.
- 4:14Speaker 5: I mean, what do you have last year one hundred
- 4:16Speaker 5: and five tackles, eight and a half tackles were lost
- 4:18Speaker 5: with like three picks. I mean, there's nothing the guy
- 4:20Speaker 5: can do.
- 4:25Speaker 3: You pair him with like to Marcus Cooley, then it's
- 4:28Speaker 3: it's a good defensive backfield.
- 4:30Speaker 2: It's let's how you have five interceptions in a scrimmage?
- 4:33Speaker 3: Yeah, like right now, Like if if everybody stays healthy,
- 4:40Speaker 3: which is a big if I get it football, If
- 4:43Speaker 3: everybody says healthy on that side of the football, like
- 4:45Speaker 3: there is no reason like that shouldn't be championship level defense.
- 4:51Speaker 2: You finally went and got an edge rusher.
- 4:54Speaker 3: That makes you feel really good because like you took
- 4:56Speaker 3: edge rushers last year, but you took a guy who,
- 5:00Speaker 3: you know, look, it is what it is. We took
- 5:02Speaker 3: one guy whose better year was early in his career,
- 5:05Speaker 3: was never able to really replicate that. And then you
- 5:08Speaker 3: took Jack Pyburn, who was more of a meathead set
- 5:11Speaker 3: the edge, which is okay, but he wanted to play
- 5:14Speaker 3: more and third downs. But that's what he was, and
- 5:15Speaker 3: that's okay to be that kind of player, but that's
- 5:17Speaker 3: who he is. He's an outside guy's gonna set the edge,
- 5:19Speaker 3: be really good in the run game. And you had
- 5:21Speaker 3: three sacks. Those two guys combined had three sacks. Think
- 5:26Speaker 3: about like the defense considering not getting after the quarterback
- 5:31Speaker 3: in a traditional way. Now, Blake, you know, he came
- 5:34Speaker 3: up with a lot of different blitz packages and corner cats.
- 5:38Speaker 2: And safeties and backers come in, which he had to.
- 5:41Speaker 3: But if you get what you think, you're going to
- 5:43Speaker 3: get out of the edge rushers you got this year,
- 5:47Speaker 3: like Prince will is somebody that we've seen do it
- 5:50Speaker 3: in the SEC. So and look, you lost gaberellafor it,
- 5:53Speaker 3: so that you're gonna take a hit there. It's not
- 5:55Speaker 3: gonna be ever a good thing that you lose one
- 5:57Speaker 3: of your guys. You were kind of going on being
- 5:58Speaker 3: a starter. But if they get that, it only helps
- 6:02Speaker 3: the back end. So with DJ Pickett to Marcus Cooley, Benefield, PJ.
- 6:06Speaker 3: Wooland Deshaun Spears, you have the core to be able
- 6:10Speaker 3: to be a top defense. You add you know a
- 6:13Speaker 3: linebacker that has started multiple years in the SEC. You
- 6:16Speaker 3: hope what Weeks gets fully healthy. Yeah, they dominated the scrimmage,
- 6:20Speaker 3: which they should have. But if you stay healthy and
- 6:24Speaker 3: if you get any any production from one of your
- 6:27Speaker 3: edge rushers that you brought in, I think we're talking
- 6:30Speaker 3: about a top twenty defense in the country.
- 6:32Speaker 5: Well you were, you were just talking about the past.
- 6:34Speaker 5: Russh and I saw a lot of people the other
- 6:36Speaker 5: day say, yeah, I'll she brought in a lot of
- 6:38Speaker 5: highly recruited defensive tackles. Where's the hedge rushers? I can
- 6:41Speaker 5: tell you On Saturday, Deuce Gerald's played a lot on
- 6:44Speaker 5: the edge as well. They've kind of moved him from
- 6:47Speaker 5: inside to outside a little bit. He's kind of playing
- 6:48Speaker 5: that a hybrid like I gave. I gave him at
- 6:51Speaker 5: the roster, so I don't I don't have it in
- 6:52Speaker 5: front of me. But I think Deucee Geralds is like
- 6:54Speaker 5: two seventy five, So I mean, if he stays that weight,
- 6:57Speaker 5: he might.
- 6:58Speaker 4: Play more on the edge. I mean that's a that's
- 7:00Speaker 4: athletic enough to do it, and he made plays on Saturday.
- 7:03Speaker 3: You had Lamar Brown coming into Lamar is certainly athletic
- 7:06Speaker 3: enough to be able to go back and forth inside
- 7:09Speaker 3: and outside.
- 7:09Speaker 2: I think getting any production from a defensive end is
- 7:12Speaker 2: ain't gonna be a luxury. Yeah, because you didn't get it.
- 7:14Speaker 2: You just didn't get in. There's two positions and it
- 7:19Speaker 2: just takes one. It just there's two positions that make
- 7:21Speaker 2: a defensive coordinator's job really easy. And that's a really
- 7:24Speaker 2: good corner, and that's a really good defensive end. And
- 7:28Speaker 2: why does that happen? Because if you have a good
- 7:30Speaker 2: corner like we did last year, it makes the job
- 7:32Speaker 2: of being a defensive coordinator a lot easier. In pass coverage, right,
- 7:36Speaker 2: You don't have to call so many exotic looks. You
- 7:38Speaker 2: don't have to try to trick him, dick them. You
- 7:40Speaker 2: can just play because you know you got one side
- 7:42Speaker 2: of the field locked down. If you have a defensive
- 7:46Speaker 2: end that is a good pass pressure, it makes your
- 7:48Speaker 2: job easier because you don't have to create exotic looks
- 7:52Speaker 2: to create advantages and mental errors on the offense to
- 7:55Speaker 2: get pressure. You can get pressure with a four man rush.
- 7:58Speaker 2: You also can command double teams, which allows other people
- 8:03Speaker 2: to do to make plays and do things. So those
- 8:06Speaker 2: two things. If you have a good defensive end, if
- 8:08Speaker 2: you have a good corner, it makes a defensive coordinator's
- 8:11Speaker 2: job a lot easier. And last year you had one,
- 8:14Speaker 2: but you had absolutely nothing from the other right from
- 8:17Speaker 2: that stampoint. Yeah, again, you had good, high effort guys
- 8:21Speaker 2: that played. They maximize their skill set to what it was,
- 8:26Speaker 2: and it just wasn't. You know, let's get a bunch
- 8:28Speaker 2: of high sacks. What the leading sack for LSU was
- 8:32Speaker 2: three last year?
- 8:35Speaker 3: I think I think it's what we had him was
- 8:36Speaker 3: from a linebacker. Yeah, yeah, So the two edge rushers
- 8:39Speaker 3: combined for three.
- 8:40Speaker 2: If you can get somebody to you know, at least
- 8:45Speaker 2: scratching at double digits, like you're going to be really
- 8:47Speaker 2: happy with that. It's going to make Blake Baker's job
- 8:50Speaker 2: a lot better. And he's proven to be one of
- 8:51Speaker 2: the best in the country, if not the best in
- 8:53Speaker 2: the country and creating different looks. But certainly the defensive
- 8:59Speaker 2: backfield looks really good. And that's awesome to say after
- 9:02Speaker 2: you lose aj Halsey and monsort to land after you
- 9:05Speaker 2: lose those guys and say, hey man, this is a
- 9:07Speaker 2: draft picks probably both going to be in the first
- 9:09Speaker 2: two rounds of the Yeah, this is gonna be one
- 9:12Speaker 2: of the strengths of our team next year. That's a
- 9:14Speaker 2: great thing for us to say. So if we can
- 9:15Speaker 2: couple that with somebody stepping up from that defense and
- 9:21Speaker 2: threat and and be a consistent threat, somebody that the
- 9:25Speaker 2: offensive coordinator has to pinpoint on a game plan, a
- 9:29Speaker 2: Monday starter when it's third and eight in an obvious
- 9:32Speaker 2: passing situation, he has to call a play with that
- 9:35Speaker 2: guy in mind.
- 9:36Speaker 3: If you don't, if you don't have somebody on the edge,
- 9:38Speaker 3: it's not a Monday starter. What's a Monday starter? On
- 9:40Speaker 3: Monday morning when we meet for the first time I
- 9:42Speaker 3: start my meeting with this guy. If you don't have
- 9:45Speaker 3: him in the SEC right now, that's troublesome because then
- 9:50Speaker 3: you can kind of as an offensive coordinator, you can
- 9:53Speaker 3: erase that out of your mind. Then you start working
- 9:56Speaker 3: on the blood stuff because you don't have to worry
- 9:58Speaker 3: about the four man stuff because you're not going to
- 9:59Speaker 3: bring Just how many times did LSU bring at least
- 10:03Speaker 3: five last year, so it at least added one guy
- 10:05Speaker 3: to the rush fifty five percent of the time they
- 10:09Speaker 3: brought five more than they brought four. Okay, how many
- 10:12Speaker 3: times did they have to bring a corner off the
- 10:14Speaker 3: edge ten percent of the time? Ten How many times
- 10:19Speaker 3: did the slot corner have to blitz fifteen percent of
- 10:22Speaker 3: the time. Those are high numbers, which is okay because
- 10:25Speaker 3: that's look, Blake's aggressive and that's what he's going to do.
- 10:28Speaker 3: But imagine if you could keep the offense on their
- 10:31Speaker 3: toes and they didn't have to know that you have
- 10:34Speaker 3: to bring at least five to get pressure.
- 10:36Speaker 2: I think that's part of his DNA a little bit too.
- 10:38Speaker 2: It is corner is really hard to corner. Blitz is
- 10:40Speaker 2: really hard to see in college. Slot corner is not
- 10:43Speaker 2: really a thing. But when the corners in the slot
- 10:47Speaker 2: this nickel you salled it Sam Nicol, sam Well, when
- 10:57Speaker 2: he blitzed his hey the corner from the corner, from
- 10:59Speaker 2: the boundary, that is really hard to say. That's why
- 11:01Speaker 2: Bla Blake loves it. He does. I used to see
- 11:04Speaker 2: it pre snap come in and it's like, oh man,
- 11:06Speaker 2: they're gonna get to him because nobody's looking at a
- 11:08Speaker 2: corner blitz in college. They're gonna get them. Can he
- 11:11Speaker 2: get there in time? So it is part of what
- 11:15Speaker 2: he wants to do, which is great.
- 11:17Speaker 3: Six yeah, six or more, sixteen point four percent of
- 11:20Speaker 3: the time, seven or more. Only three percent of the time,
- 11:23Speaker 3: but it is a part of what they want to do.
- 11:24Speaker 3: But again again, when you can try to bluffet like
- 11:28Speaker 3: Fund's talking about, show it and then drop out of
- 11:30Speaker 3: it because you know that you're sending four and somebody's
- 11:33Speaker 3: going to get home of that puts the quarterback in
- 11:36Speaker 3: a mistake because he's throwing hot off the corner and
- 11:38Speaker 3: all of a sudden he throws right to one of
- 11:40Speaker 3: your defenders.
- 11:41Speaker 2: YEP. In the offense, what your goal is on obvious
- 11:47Speaker 2: passing downs is to create pressure on the defense. Putting
- 11:52Speaker 2: pressure on their zones, stressing their zones out right. So
- 11:55Speaker 2: the faster you can get guys out of route concepts.
- 11:58Speaker 2: And you know a lot of times third and mid DeLong,
- 12:02Speaker 2: so third and seven plus let's say most of the
- 12:05Speaker 2: times you're gonna see some sort of zone coverage. Now
- 12:08Speaker 2: you might see some two man, you're not gonna see
- 12:10Speaker 2: a whole lot of like just straight you know, rushing
- 12:14Speaker 2: four guys or maybe maybe green dogging with a fifth
- 12:18Speaker 2: and playing press man on those on that down and distance.
- 12:21Speaker 2: You're not gonna see the light. So you're gonna see
- 12:23Speaker 2: zones a lot of the time. So it's how fast
- 12:25Speaker 2: can we create pressure on these zones. If you've got
- 12:27Speaker 2: a curl flat, I got to put pressure on you.
- 12:29Speaker 2: I gotta make you make a decision. And the faster
- 12:31Speaker 2: you can get on a route concept, the more pressure
- 12:34Speaker 2: you put on them. That's why you're always like, oh,
- 12:37Speaker 2: you don't want two receivers next to each other because
- 12:39Speaker 2: you got one guy covering two people, right, So but
- 12:42Speaker 2: you can't do that A lot of times don't want
- 12:44Speaker 2: two receivers next to each other. Well, okay, so last
- 12:47Speaker 2: year thought it was a good idea sometimes because you
- 12:49Speaker 2: have double the chance of catching it. But if you
- 12:54Speaker 2: have these defensive if you have the defensive ends that
- 12:57Speaker 2: can create what you have to do. You have to
- 12:59Speaker 2: either keep tie ends in, you gotta keep running backs
- 13:01Speaker 2: in to give your tackle a little bit extra help,
- 13:04Speaker 2: or you got a thump chip that lets them, that
- 13:06Speaker 2: makes them hesitate and way to split second longer a
- 13:09Speaker 2: half second or a full second sometimes to get out
- 13:12Speaker 2: in that concept, which does not create pressure on those
- 13:15Speaker 2: zone defenders. So look, if you if you can't get
- 13:18Speaker 2: home with four guys, what's to stop the offense from
- 13:22Speaker 2: just doing five man protection getting five guys out in
- 13:26Speaker 2: route concepts? And that's what happens when you can't. So
- 13:29Speaker 2: I think that is a very important position to watch
- 13:31Speaker 2: for everybody. I think someone just said in the chat
- 13:35Speaker 2: that it doesn't really matter how good your dbs are
- 13:37Speaker 2: if you got an elite pass rush, which is you know,
- 13:41Speaker 2: kind of true. It's nice to have both, but we
- 13:43Speaker 2: just want some sort of pass rush this year that
- 13:45Speaker 2: is not manufactured with creative looks and different pressures and disguises.
- 13:50Speaker 2: You want to manufacture with four guys, and that's something
- 13:52Speaker 2: that we did not have this past year. Yep. It
- 13:55Speaker 2: still had a good defense.
- 13:56Speaker 3: Yeah, that that's kind of my point, Like, and still
- 13:59Speaker 3: had a defense that kept you in a lot of games,
- 14:02Speaker 3: certainly at the end of the like the Oklahoma game,
- 14:06Speaker 3: they were basically throwing a perfect game until they had
- 14:09Speaker 3: one buster coverage and one buster coverage cast him the game.
- 14:14Speaker 2: But they went dialing it up. That's how bad it was.
- 14:17Speaker 3: Think about that, Like they literally like they were like
- 14:21Speaker 3: eight and two thirds had struck out fourteen batters, didn't
- 14:25Speaker 3: walk a soul.
- 14:26Speaker 2: They were Paul Skans, they were Paul.
- 14:28Speaker 3: Skins, and they throw one pitch, one bad pitch, got
- 14:32Speaker 3: too much of the play.
- 14:33Speaker 2: What a guy hits it over the fence twenty twenty
- 14:35Speaker 2: five LSU defense was Paul Skins for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Yeah,
- 14:39Speaker 2: had to be perfect, had to be perfect.
- 14:42Speaker 3: You imagine like what that's like to like mentally for
- 14:46Speaker 3: the coaches on that side of the football.
- 14:48Speaker 2: We know what it's like. They told us. That's true. I
- 14:52Speaker 2: was trying to set it up so much better. Yeah,
- 14:54Speaker 2: that's kind of true. They did tell us.
- 14:57Speaker 3: But I feel like you have to be in the
- 14:59Speaker 3: sec Like you feel like, man, yeah, you got to.
- 15:01Speaker 2: Be When Frank Wilson takes over as head coach, and
- 15:05Speaker 2: your defensive coordinator says, hey, Frank, can we run one
- 15:09Speaker 2: like short yardage and running drill? Yeah, running so our
- 15:12Speaker 2: guys can see it. So we can just practice a
- 15:14Speaker 2: normal play. All right, we got it? All right? Not
- 15:17Speaker 2: do this. It's Tuesday, it's our favorite day, and we've
- 15:20Speaker 2: moved on from this. I don't know if we have,
- 15:23Speaker 2: well we will eventually. All right, we'll take a break.
- 15:27Speaker 3: More OTB when we come back here live from the

- 18:08Speaker 3: Oh all right, uh, Unfortunately, we're just talking full segment
- 18:15Speaker 3: about LSU's defense.
- 18:17Speaker 2: Taytaymna throw this one to you.
- 18:18Speaker 3: There's a report that LSU's gonna be without one of
- 18:21Speaker 3: their defenders after getting hurt over the weekend.
- 18:24Speaker 5: Yeah, Aiden, anding redshirt freshman corner who had a really
- 18:27Speaker 5: good scrimmage. He had two interceptions in that scrimmage has
- 18:31Speaker 5: torn his achilles, and it happened on Saturday during the scrimmage.
- 18:35Speaker 5: I was telling you guys during break, I'll credit Hunt
- 18:38Speaker 5: on this one, and I'm sure he doesn't want to
- 18:40Speaker 5: be credited, uh with something like this, but he called
- 18:43Speaker 5: it immediately. We were sitting right next to each other
- 18:44Speaker 5: that the scrimmage. He goes, I think aiden anding's hurt
- 18:47Speaker 5: bad because obviously it's non contact. Trainers immediately ran out,
- 18:52Speaker 5: kind of carried him off, no weight on it, put
- 18:54Speaker 5: him on the training table, pads off, didn't come back.
- 18:56Speaker 4: I mean that that all happened.
- 18:57Speaker 5: Within like two or three minutes, and we're gonna speculate
- 19:00Speaker 5: what happened. This actually happened on an interception. He picked
- 19:03Speaker 5: off who'saw on Long Street kind of right through on
- 19:06Speaker 5: the hashes about a ten yard pass and immediately fell
- 19:08Speaker 5: down and trainers ran out. Nobody saw what happened. Again,
- 19:13Speaker 5: didn't get hit. So you always hate the non contact injuries.
- 19:16Speaker 5: But he was running second team dB with that, with
- 19:19Speaker 5: that second team secondary unit, and he made some plays
- 19:22Speaker 5: out there. I know he was a highly recruited guy
- 19:24Speaker 5: coming out of high school. Again, red shirted last year,
- 19:27Speaker 5: but Yeah, really unfortunate news a guy who looked like
- 19:32Speaker 5: he was gonna be in the mix.
- 19:34Speaker 2: Yeah, it's unfortunate, and unfortunately they do. I think that's
- 19:37Speaker 2: one of those injuries you know pretty quickly. Yeah, as
- 19:40Speaker 2: there's no like, not much diagnostics that needs to be
- 19:44Speaker 2: run on that. It's pretty much now. Yeah, Yeah, that's
- 19:47Speaker 2: a that's a we wish. I'm a speedy. It's a
- 19:49Speaker 2: brutal rehab just is. Yeah. I mean.
- 19:54Speaker 3: Aaron Rodgers tried to come back the year he did
- 19:58Speaker 3: it with the Jets. He was trying ever thing he could,
- 20:00Speaker 3: and he was trying to see every doctor he could,
- 20:02Speaker 3: every anything he could.
- 20:04Speaker 2: He would have if they would have been mathematically into it.
- 20:08Speaker 2: He shouldn't have, but he would have.
- 20:11Speaker 5: Well, the roster has em listened as a sophomore, so
- 20:13Speaker 5: he may not have read Jared. It must have been
- 20:14Speaker 5: a bunch of special teams.
- 20:15Speaker 4: I mean, he didn't play a ton on like the
- 20:17Speaker 4: eleven or eleven defense, but he got in there a
- 20:19Speaker 4: little bit obviously. But yeah, he was.
- 20:22Speaker 5: He was a guy that were working closely with like
- 20:24Speaker 5: in the spring, like Baker was working with him a lot.
- 20:27Speaker 4: And I just hate to see.
- 20:28Speaker 2: It again, man, I think this hole. It blows my
- 20:32Speaker 2: mind how many Achilles injuries there are this day and age.
- 20:39Speaker 2: Just if it's one of those things that I mean,
- 20:41Speaker 2: up until like the last six seven years, you never
- 20:44Speaker 2: saw it. Rarely you would see it, and you were
- 20:48Speaker 2: seeing it as commonplace. Now I don't understand it. I mean,
- 20:52Speaker 2: I guess you could say people are bigger, stronger, faster,
- 20:54Speaker 2: and you know, more explosive whatever it is. But my goodness,
- 21:00Speaker 2: it's it's scary out there how many Achilles because it
- 21:05Speaker 2: is a serious injury, and it's a serious rehab and
- 21:07Speaker 2: it's not a fun one. Oh, it's completely rehabitable. It's
- 21:11Speaker 2: not a you know, it doesn't have to be the
- 21:13Speaker 2: career ending injury. But my goodness, it's just like think
- 21:16Speaker 2: about it. Like, I know, we brought it up on
- 21:18Speaker 2: here and talked about it, but like, how many Achilles
- 21:21Speaker 2: do you remember seeing in the two thousands, twenty tens,
- 21:25Speaker 2: the nineties like that, Maybe it happened a couple of times, Yeah,
- 21:29Speaker 2: but it's pretty prevalent this day. And I don't understand why,
- 21:33Speaker 2: and I don't understand what the correlation is. But I
- 21:39Speaker 2: don't know what the coincidences are.
- 21:41Speaker 3: No, I remember I mean you're right, like when Kobe
- 21:43Speaker 3: did his and then you saw like a wave of
- 21:45Speaker 3: NBA players start to do it. Kevin Durant it happened
- 21:48Speaker 3: to him. Uh is that what Jason Tatum did?
- 21:50Speaker 2: Ye?
- 21:50Speaker 4: I just got back from.
- 21:51Speaker 2: Yeah. So like in the NBA, it's been crazily prevalent. Yeah,
- 21:56Speaker 2: And I don't know, maybe it just wasn't that. Maybe
- 21:58Speaker 2: we shouldn't hear about it. Maybe they were there, we
- 22:00Speaker 2: just didn't hear about it. But I feel like, yeah,
- 22:04Speaker 2: so I don't know how what you correlate to that.
- 22:06Speaker 3: But you know, unfortunately for l s U and for
- 22:10Speaker 3: the player that that's a year long injury and you
- 22:13Speaker 3: hope that he would be back for spring next year,
- 22:17Speaker 3: like ready to go fourth quarter program spring next year.
- 22:19Speaker 3: That is not an easy rehab and uh, certainly some
- 22:22Speaker 3: bad news there for the player and for the Tigers.
- 22:25Speaker 2: Someone said maybe due to more turf fields out there.
- 22:28Speaker 2: I mean, well, I mean it happens in basketball a
- 22:31Speaker 2: lot too. Basketball happened. I mean, this one happened on grass,
- 22:36Speaker 2: But like I get it, they are on turfields more
- 22:39Speaker 2: throughout the and you know, maybe it's just a torque
- 22:42Speaker 2: that humans can put on different parts of the body.
- 22:46Speaker 2: We talked about like concussions were more prevalent because people
- 22:49Speaker 2: are bigger, stronger, faster, and your skull is not really
- 22:52Speaker 2: getting thicker, And maybe it's just one like you're more
- 22:55Speaker 2: explosive with your lower body, got more muscle, you're faster,
- 22:58Speaker 2: you're being told to do different things, more explosive things,
- 23:04Speaker 2: and tendons aren't getting any stronger. I don't know. And
- 23:07Speaker 2: it's again, my brother's a doctor, so I can speak
- 23:10Speaker 2: on this. You're your doctor, adjacent doctor or Jason right
- 23:14Speaker 2: in his blood, it's in the family.
- 23:16Speaker 5: It's family business, so that's always kind of been Also,
- 23:18Speaker 5: his father's a lawyer.
- 23:20Speaker 2: Doctors go over any contracts. I can do that.
- 23:23Speaker 5: The the explosiveness of athletes has always kind of been
- 23:25Speaker 5: my theory. Like I remember I was watching Jason Tatum
- 23:28Speaker 5: when it happened last playoffs, and uh, Victoria's sitting next
- 23:31Speaker 5: to me. She's like, Oh, that'd be awful if that
- 23:32Speaker 5: happened to us, And I was like, that can't happen
- 23:34Speaker 5: to us. She's like, well, it's like we're not explosive
- 23:36Speaker 5: enough athletes. It was like, I think I think we're.
- 23:38Speaker 2: Good on that one. Yeah, I don't know. Don't expect
- 23:42Speaker 2: this one to happen to day. Ja I told doctor,
- 23:45Speaker 2: I told told doctors, because the one niner vaccines, you
- 23:49Speaker 2: know what, COVID vaccines.
- 23:52Speaker 3: I think I'll started when that happened, I thought you
- 23:54Speaker 3: said the forty nine er vaccines. I said, Oh okay.
- 23:58Speaker 3: I was like, is he trying again?
- 24:00Speaker 2: No? No, no one I was.
- 24:02Speaker 3: I was I could have okay, all right, thank god?
- 24:06Speaker 3: Who I felt bad for you? All right, when we

- 27:31Speaker 6: There's really just three numbers that you have to remember that.
- 27:35Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll say three one eight a lot.
- 27:39Speaker 6: But we're in the two two five.
- 27:41Speaker 2: What's your uh spirit? What's your Erica?
- 27:45Speaker 1: And Tyler?
- 27:46Speaker 2: Nine O three's a good one. It's it's a leak.
- 27:51Speaker 8: I still have my San Antonio area code. Yeah, yeah,
- 27:55Speaker 8: I'm still two one zero count down city.
- 27:57Speaker 7: Baby.
- 28:00Speaker 6: First, I'm too.
- 28:02Speaker 2: Too five my choice. I get off my parents' plan.
- 28:10Speaker 4: Finally, finally, Yeah, they kicked you out.
- 28:12Speaker 2: Yeah, they said forties and enough, that's it.
- 28:16Speaker 5: They were like, Matt, you went, you get drafted, went
- 28:19Speaker 5: to the NFL, and I'm central tired.
- 28:20Speaker 2: I think it's time to get off the family plan. Fine.
- 28:27Speaker 3: I had people on my family fan when they were
- 28:30Speaker 3: like successful in life and like established, I just continue
- 28:33Speaker 3: to forget they were on the family plan. And then
- 28:36Speaker 3: finally like I've got so many children that needed cell phones.
- 28:38Speaker 3: I'm like, guys, y'all got to forget get out of
- 28:42Speaker 3: here because I've got now three kids. I have cell
- 28:45Speaker 3: phones on the plane, So you gotta get out of
- 28:47Speaker 3: here for us.
- 28:48Speaker 2: You're coming for that for us? Uh too? And so
- 28:52Speaker 2: they're what twenty two until they drive?
- 28:57Speaker 6: Oh okay, I got a text?
- 28:58Speaker 2: Okay, I got a text.
- 29:00Speaker 8: Yeah, y'all never watched.
- 29:05Speaker 4: Edtorial watches.
- 29:10Speaker 6: Ask the bench.
- 29:11Speaker 8: Have you had a saucer margarita yet? I have not,
- 29:14Speaker 8: but I want one, So a saft serve margarita saucer.
- 29:21Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 29:22Speaker 8: It's like a like an ice cream soft served thing there.
- 29:27Speaker 6: That's a new trend. I've been seeing it on the internet,
- 29:30Speaker 6: but saucer like ice cream, like the strawberry.
- 29:36Speaker 8: They have the regular old margarita and they just put
- 29:39Speaker 8: it in a soft serve machine and they serve.
- 29:42Speaker 6: Where can you find it?
- 29:44Speaker 5: It's got the alcohol and everybody on the alcohol. Pretty
- 29:46Speaker 5: much every Mexican restaurant around here has it now. I
- 29:48Speaker 5: think here in your mind. Have one Casa Maria and
- 29:51Speaker 5: Watson the owner of it. He's actually the one that
- 29:53Speaker 5: brought it to the area. That's where I went and
- 29:55Speaker 5: got it a couple of weeks ago. They were one
- 29:57Speaker 5: of the first ones. And uh A strawberry mango really good.
- 30:00Speaker 2: I'm looking at it right now. It looks looks fancy
- 30:03Speaker 2: for me? Is it better than a regular margarino?
- 30:05Speaker 5: So it depends like the soft service, very like sherbet
- 30:10Speaker 5: ice cream.
- 30:11Speaker 4: That's kind of what it takes. Like, like.
- 30:14Speaker 2: I don't even love margaritas, but you are talking me. Okay.
- 30:16Speaker 2: I was really excited when you first said it, But
- 30:18Speaker 2: the more I think about this now, I don't like.
- 30:22Speaker 2: It's kind of like, do you would you rather go
- 30:25Speaker 2: to gcb y or get a snow cone?
- 30:30Speaker 4: That's a you know what I mean?
- 30:32Speaker 2: Do you want a snow cone or do you want
- 30:34Speaker 2: soft serve ice cream? I guess so I would try
- 30:38Speaker 2: just absolutely snow cone and cake with an Eagle brand
- 30:42Speaker 2: on it.
- 30:42Speaker 4: Yeah, it was, it was good. I'm glad I try it.
- 30:44Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 30:45Speaker 5: They had a non alcoholic one that we got from
- 30:46Speaker 5: Victoria and it was it was actually really good too,
- 30:48Speaker 5: So it's it's more like do you want an icy?
- 30:51Speaker 4: An alcoholic icy? Or like alcoholic?
- 30:53Speaker 6: Thank you?
- 30:55Speaker 2: Interesting? All right, I'll try those out. I have to
- 30:57Speaker 2: see who has. Every time I hear every time I
- 30:59Speaker 2: hear someone talking about gas Maria, I always think about
- 31:02Speaker 2: the South Park episode. I love Maria. It's good. Hashtag
- 31:09Speaker 2: go to be mail bag.
- 31:10Speaker 3: If elon Mus offered you two billion dollars, ye to
- 31:13Speaker 3: take a pill today and sleep for twenty years, but
- 31:17Speaker 3: your life is also extended by twenty years?
- 31:20Speaker 2: Are you doing it?
- 31:21Speaker 8: No?
- 31:21Speaker 5: Because I don't miss you hit the twenty years that
- 31:23Speaker 5: I slept back, ife didn't get extended.
- 31:25Speaker 2: Hey, you ever stayed Interstellar? Yeah? You've run that movie
- 31:29Speaker 2: if you haven't seen.
- 31:30Speaker 6: It, Okay.
- 31:31Speaker 8: Brian LeBlanc, who was a winner, He was a winner
- 31:34Speaker 8: of the Hondo Rodeo tickets this last week, he just
- 31:37Speaker 8: sent me pictures stop it of him at Creed and
- 31:40Speaker 8: it looks like such a good time.
- 31:44Speaker 6: Right in the front.
- 31:45Speaker 8: Like he's got a really good shot of Scott's staff
- 31:48Speaker 8: on here.
- 31:49Speaker 2: Let's go nice.
- 31:50Speaker 6: Well the scenes are tight.
- 31:52Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean he's like he able to counter.
- 31:55Speaker 3: Change in your pocket right right? Hashtag go to be
- 31:57Speaker 3: mail bag? What shows y'all?
- 31:59Speaker 5: Watching right now The Pit all the unfortunately there's only
- 32:02Speaker 5: one episode.
- 32:03Speaker 4: Love season.
- 32:04Speaker 3: Definitely watching the Pit right now. I need some more
- 32:06Speaker 3: though I kind of kind of ran through all the
- 32:08Speaker 3: shows that I was watching. I need some more.
- 32:12Speaker 2: We're watching Dexter Resurrection. Okay, how's that? It's really good. Actually,
- 32:18Speaker 2: if you were a Dexter fan of like the O
- 32:19Speaker 2: G Dexters but people love it, see you're in a
- 32:23Speaker 2: great spot, then it's time to start it because they're
- 32:25Speaker 2: a fanta. If you're a fan of the original Dexters,
- 32:27Speaker 2: they had like this one, like one where he was
- 32:29Speaker 2: sitting like Canada or something. Is okay, you wanted to
- 32:32Speaker 2: just a Dexter fixed, but this one's kind of like
- 32:35Speaker 2: back to the basic.
- 32:36Speaker 4: Really, So I watched the original Dexter.
- 32:39Speaker 2: Like all the seasons, like five or six seasons whatever.
- 32:41Speaker 4: I think it was eight eight.
- 32:42Speaker 5: It would have been better if you stopped after five,
- 32:44Speaker 5: but yeah, it was.
- 32:46Speaker 2: This is it. It's good. I'm enjoying it. And also
- 32:49Speaker 2: I'm finishing up and door as well.
- 32:51Speaker 4: And a laundra about the start season two of Running Point, I.
- 32:55Speaker 8: Got sucked into secret lives of Mormon wives, so.
- 32:59Speaker 2: I'm on it. You love some trash I do.
- 33:01Speaker 8: But like, remember we were talking about that girl and
- 33:04Speaker 8: she was throwing like a chair and she was supposed
- 33:05Speaker 8: to be on the Bachelorette, but then they canceled the
- 33:07Speaker 8: Bachelorette season. So I was like, you know what, whatever,
- 33:10Speaker 8: I'm going to start this show because Jake's right, I
- 33:13Speaker 8: love trash TV, so I started it. Everybody sucks on
- 33:17Speaker 8: the show. I hate them all, So it's going really well.
- 33:21Speaker 2: I saw that girl the Bachelorette they got canceled. I
- 33:24Speaker 2: saw her was Stefon Diggs recently, no way in real life,
- 33:27Speaker 2: but on.
- 33:27Speaker 6: The Twitter machine you got god again.
- 33:30Speaker 2: There's a picture. I mean, I don't know why anyone
- 33:32Speaker 2: would fake that.
- 33:34Speaker 6: Digs is like like every girl ever. I mean, he's
- 33:40Speaker 6: her baby daddy.
- 33:41Speaker 4: For sure, that's true.
- 33:42Speaker 5: I mean I guess is where there is a loose term.
- 33:46Speaker 2: Oh, I am watching a detective hole.
- 33:49Speaker 3: It's now it's in Norwegian, so like you like nubbed, sure,
- 33:53Speaker 3: but it's on Netflix.
- 33:55Speaker 2: Really good.
- 33:56Speaker 3: It's really good, like they whoever dubbed it, like I
- 33:58Speaker 3: usually can't watch those yeah dracks me. They did a
- 34:01Speaker 3: nice job where it matches up and the accidents.
- 34:04Speaker 2: Don't sound which one was a Norwegian one. It was
- 34:08Speaker 2: about four. Oh yeah, I watch that.
- 34:12Speaker 3: Well the guy who plays the detective and the killing
- 34:16Speaker 3: in this and he's speaking Norwegian but he's all but
- 34:20Speaker 3: he also he dubbed it in English.
- 34:23Speaker 2: Nice.
- 34:24Speaker 3: Yeah, over by the feud. All right, let's see that's
- 34:36Speaker 3: another one. Hashag o TB mailbag. What's the weirdest pregame
- 34:40Speaker 3: ritual y'all have ever seen? While in the NFL, I
- 34:45Speaker 3: never understood the guys that wanted to get a good
- 34:47Speaker 3: pump in before they went out there like that, always
- 34:50Speaker 3: like like why are we doing that while we're doing
- 34:53Speaker 3: the bands and push ups before we go out? Like
- 34:57Speaker 3: why are we trying to look jacked in pregame warm
- 34:59Speaker 3: ups and your arms is going to be probably sore
- 35:02Speaker 3: when you go out there for the real game.
- 35:04Speaker 2: Yeah, there was there's people that would put the vaseline
- 35:09Speaker 2: on their arms, make them shiny, get the get the
- 35:12Speaker 2: band pumps, get a lot of curls going, they can
- 35:15Speaker 2: pop a little big getting ready for a selfie. Yeah,
- 35:18Speaker 2: they did that, but weird. I would see the when
- 35:20Speaker 2: we were in Lambeaus, like in December and we'd have
- 35:22Speaker 2: a visiting team come. I think they wanted to prove
- 35:24Speaker 2: to us like that the cold wasn't gonna bother them,
- 35:27Speaker 2: and they'd go out in the pre pregame yeah and
- 35:31Speaker 2: their shirts off. Yeah yeah.
- 35:34Speaker 8: I was about to say the most iconic pregame is
- 35:36Speaker 8: like a Tennessee when their shirts off and it's super
- 35:40Speaker 8: cold outside.
- 35:40Speaker 6: Who were they playing?
- 35:41Speaker 8: It was Tennessee and they were out there the playoffs, right, yeah,
- 35:44Speaker 8: And they were out there and they were like doing
- 35:46Speaker 8: the bands and stuff and they were all shirtless, and
- 35:48Speaker 8: then they ended up losing.
- 35:49Speaker 2: Yeah. It's like they would put they would take their
- 35:52Speaker 2: shirts off in front of us and we're like, hey,
- 35:54Speaker 2: we live here, Like you got a bundle up. It's
- 35:58Speaker 2: all about keeping the core temple.
- 35:59Speaker 4: That's like, that's a good way to get for us.
- 36:01Speaker 5: Bike butt, right, But I like the John Henderson clink
- 36:04Speaker 5: when he has the trainer, like slapping in the face.
- 36:07Speaker 2: I saw some people they would there's people that would
- 36:09Speaker 2: slap each other. It was also a psycho like that.
- 36:12Speaker 2: Harball likes to hit the quarterbacks pads before the game.
- 36:17Speaker 2: We were all just we were just really specific about
- 36:19Speaker 2: like when we go out for pregame and stuff, going
- 36:22Speaker 2: out in the same order, the same people do like
- 36:25Speaker 2: the same, like head butts and handshakes and just bumps
- 36:28Speaker 2: and all that. And there's this button in the green
- 36:32Speaker 2: the Green Bay Tunnel that goes out that they do.
- 36:35Speaker 2: They do lambeau Field tours all the time, and there's
- 36:37Speaker 2: this button you can push when you walk out that
- 36:39Speaker 2: has like the announcement. It has like the crowd noise
- 36:42Speaker 2: plays like the two whatever eight world champions blah blah blah.
- 36:47Speaker 2: That's like they're announcing the so like fans that are
- 36:49Speaker 2: going to do a uh a Lambo tour, they get
- 36:52Speaker 2: that experience. They walk out on the field and they
- 36:54Speaker 2: gave a bunch of those the draft flash. So I
- 36:56Speaker 2: would always hit the button. I always hit the button.
- 36:59Speaker 2: We walked out. We would always act like we were
- 37:01Speaker 2: getting pumped up, and it was just like pre game. Yeah,
- 37:03Speaker 2: there's no one in the stands. Fun. That was one
- 37:05Speaker 2: of our deals. And Jordia used to play a little
- 37:09Speaker 2: ball tossing event too, like a football. We played a
- 37:11Speaker 2: little game yeah with his assenter.
- 37:13Speaker 3: Yeah, we played crossbar challenge, Okay, me and the quarterbacks.
- 37:17Speaker 2: Yeah, in the quarterback coach you ever was ours was
- 37:20Speaker 2: like ten yards away. You get the ball and you
- 37:22Speaker 2: have to roll it. Yeah, and you try to get
- 37:24Speaker 2: to stop on the line. Yeah, kind of like paper football,
- 37:26Speaker 2: get hanging over the edge of this is like stop
- 37:29Speaker 2: on the line.
- 37:29Speaker 6: It was okay, I got a text.
- 37:32Speaker 1: I got a.
- 37:32Speaker 8: Text say who okay?
- 37:36Speaker 6: Hashtag OTV mail bag.
- 37:38Speaker 8: If Jacob Hester and CT Tamborello met in the A Gap,
- 37:42Speaker 8: who's coming out?
- 37:44Speaker 2: I don't know who that is?
- 37:46Speaker 6: He's from the Challenge?
- 37:47Speaker 2: Oh me? Yeah?
- 37:50Speaker 7: From uh MTV? Yeah?
- 37:52Speaker 2: Oh yeah. Look, I like CT's character and all.
- 37:55Speaker 3: He's funny and sue. There's not are the Challenge, including
- 38:02Speaker 3: the miz that's going to meet me in the A Gap.
- 38:07Speaker 6: He was on the Traders.
- 38:13Speaker 4: I think he won the Traders probably you got this guy.
- 38:16Speaker 8: Yeah, he would wear like a peaky blinder's hat.
- 38:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I talking about I remember C.
- 38:21Speaker 8: Him and they teamed up together because they were both.
- 38:25Speaker 2: From the I hadn't done about from MTV and forever.
- 38:28Speaker 2: What show are we talking about?
- 38:30Speaker 8: Uh?
- 38:31Speaker 2: Well, he was original? Was he Roads or Real World?
- 38:34Speaker 8: I think it's Real World because Real World was the Chad, Like,
- 38:37Speaker 8: wasn't people from the Real World on the channel?
- 38:39Speaker 2: Maybe you got to be on one of the other.
- 38:41Speaker 6: So I think he was on Real World and then
- 38:43Speaker 6: got started.
- 38:44Speaker 7: He was on road.
- 38:45Speaker 6: Rules something like that. Yeah, real World.
- 38:49Speaker 2: Either way, that's where he's from. He's from that universe. Yeah.
- 38:52Speaker 8: And then recently he was on The Traders, which is
- 38:54Speaker 8: a show that I'm obsessed with. Who was ct and
- 38:59Speaker 8: Trischell who is also on the Challenge.
- 39:01Speaker 2: For Shell That is a deep, deep cut for Shelle. Yeah,

- 39:58Speaker 8: is not gonna go to the forty nine ers. Why
- 40:01Speaker 8: because he has injury history and you know they got
- 40:03Speaker 8: the power playing across the street.
- 40:07Speaker 2: Oh that's a good one.
- 40:09Speaker 6: Thank you. I came up with him by myself.
- 40:12Speaker 2: Thank God. You'd never see the film the laundry. Don't
- 40:15Speaker 2: stoop to his level. They pulled three hammies first.
- 40:18Speaker 6: Immediately, immediately, in practice.
- 40:22Speaker 2: Three hammies, probably just watching film, with the third one
- 40:25Speaker 2: coming from a reinjury.
- 40:28Speaker 3: Reinjury Nokie's free I got live chat on, asked a question.
- 40:37Speaker 3: I'm not asking Elvis question in front of Flynn, so
- 40:40Speaker 3: he give him low hanging fruit. No thanks, he just
- 40:42Speaker 3: stole his entire act, sure, Bud, more like perfect.
- 40:46Speaker 5: Yeah, Lookie asked one why isn't Elvis in the Rock
- 40:48Speaker 5: and Roll Hall of Fame?
- 40:49Speaker 3: Dumb as, that's the one I was talking about not
- 40:52Speaker 3: asking because then I would give Flynn.
- 40:55Speaker 4: I don't know questions, are in here?
- 40:58Speaker 2: He's not rock and roll.
- 41:00Speaker 4: I thought he wasn't there.
- 41:01Speaker 8: Well, that's not any sort of qualifier because there's a
- 41:04Speaker 8: lot of roll people, there's a lot of.
- 41:08Speaker 6: Non rock and roll people that are in the Hall
- 41:10Speaker 6: of Fame.
- 41:11Speaker 7: We win.
- 41:11Speaker 2: That's what I wasn't gonna ask. Is then, Hey, but look,
- 41:14Speaker 2: I actually he's not in there for I have no idea,
- 41:17Speaker 2: Like that's weird. I feel like that's not true.
- 41:25Speaker 8: Daniel Basham said, Dan Flynn and a Landra just trading left.
- 41:29Speaker 4: This says he is, and I went to the one
- 41:33Speaker 4: I thought he was in there too.
- 41:34Speaker 5: This is Elvis be This says Elvis got inducted into
- 41:37Speaker 5: the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in nineteen eighty six.
- 41:39Speaker 2: Come on, nook, yeah, I mean, what are we doing?
- 41:41Speaker 3: Went once when we played the Cleveland Brown's The Mistake
- 41:44Speaker 3: by the Lake.
- 41:45Speaker 5: Because I had always heard there was only two artists
- 41:48Speaker 5: that were in the Rock and Roll and Country Music
- 41:49Speaker 5: Hall of Fame.
- 41:50Speaker 4: It was Elvis and Johnny Cash. That's what I had
- 41:53Speaker 4: always heard.
- 41:53Speaker 5: Now that's since been because then, like Dolly in the
- 41:56Speaker 5: Rock and Roll of Fame, I would assume.
- 41:57Speaker 2: Who would really know though, because you got to go
- 41:59Speaker 2: to Cleveland to go there. The only reason I went.
- 42:02Speaker 3: He did. Oh, that's right, Sandusky, Ohio.
- 42:08Speaker 4: Right, Yeah, what's the closest airport.
- 42:11Speaker 6: I have a good question for Matt, but we can

- 44:00Speaker 3: Community steal to check him out online Community steell co
- 44:04Speaker 3: dot com.
- 44:05Speaker 2: All right, LANDI you said you had a question for Matthew.
- 44:07Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 44:07Speaker 8: I actually don't know if you'll have an answer to this,
- 44:10Speaker 8: but maybe you'll have like some sort of insight. Hashtag
- 44:13Speaker 8: asked Flynn got my son signed up for the Manning
- 44:16Speaker 8: Passing Academy in June. What can he expect? He's a
- 44:20Speaker 8: sophomore quarterback starting for his JV team. Now, I don't
- 44:22Speaker 8: know if you'll know about the Manning Passing Academy specifically,
- 44:25Speaker 8: but maybe you have some words of wisdom you can impart.
- 44:29Speaker 6: I don't even know if that's the right way to
- 44:30Speaker 6: say that.
- 44:30Speaker 2: I never attended the Manning Passing Academy, not because I
- 44:34Speaker 2: didn't want to, just at the time it was I
- 44:37Speaker 2: think one guy from each school each year went to
- 44:41Speaker 2: the Manning Passing Academy, and my year it was Early.
- 44:45Speaker 2: Early do said when I think, I can't remember, Okay,
- 44:48Speaker 2: I think Early did go. Yeah, I think Early did go. Yeah,
- 44:50Speaker 2: it's a little bit different now. Yeah. I think it's
- 44:52Speaker 2: like they try to get all the quarters. They came
- 44:54Speaker 2: right and a lot of I went. Remember I got
- 44:58Speaker 2: mistaken for west Eddie George. That's true. Yeah, that's true.
- 45:02Speaker 2: So I don't I don't know exactly how much of
- 45:06Speaker 2: a teaching academy you know, the camp is, but I'm
- 45:08Speaker 2: really good, Like I remember going to as many camps
- 45:11Speaker 2: as I could. Now there wasn't quite as many. Back
- 45:13Speaker 2: in the day. It was like I'd go to a
- 45:15Speaker 2: group of textas. I'd go to the Baylor Camp, the
- 45:17Speaker 2: A and M Camp, the Longhorn Camp. I'd go to
- 45:19Speaker 2: all the college camps because those are really the only
- 45:21Speaker 2: camps that there was, So I would just I mean,
- 45:25Speaker 2: I'm always for soaking in as much information as you can.
- 45:29Speaker 2: There's always going to be even if you don't love
- 45:32Speaker 2: everything somebody's teaching, there's always bits and pieces you can
- 45:35Speaker 2: pull from it that are positive. You take things that
- 45:37Speaker 2: you think correlate to your game, and there's some things
- 45:40Speaker 2: that you just might think are wrong, but you just
- 45:44Speaker 2: got to go and figure that out yourself, and you
- 45:46Speaker 2: only do that with experience. So I say, heck, yeah,
- 45:49Speaker 2: I go do it, and you get to see the
- 45:52Speaker 2: best in the country, go and throw and entertain you. Yeah.
- 45:57Speaker 2: I thot it was a good camp, good instruction.
- 45:59Speaker 3: A lot of really good former players are there to
- 46:02Speaker 3: coach the kids as well, not just quarterback but running back, receiver,
- 46:05Speaker 3: like the whole deal.
- 46:06Speaker 2: Uh. I think it's great.
- 46:07Speaker 3: Thibodeau does whatever it has to do, like to help
- 46:09Speaker 3: out the camp, you know, so it's like you you're
- 46:11Speaker 3: in Thibodeau there. You know, you're there for the Maning
- 46:13Speaker 3: Passing Academy, which I think is kind of cool as well.
- 46:15Speaker 2: So yeah, I would fully adorse it. You just don't
- 46:17Speaker 2: know who's going to be the teacher, say the right
- 46:20Speaker 2: thing that resonates with you, true to learn. All right,
