- 0:01Speaker 1: Now on the Voice of New York. It's the Mark
- 0:04Speaker 1: Simone Show on seven to ten.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Wor Well, it's Monday, and we got a lot to
- 0:15Speaker 2: get to today. We'll get to that No King's crazy
- 0:19Speaker 2: No Kings stuff, we get to President Trump and Iran.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Things looking good in Iran. We'll get to the ballroom
- 0:25Speaker 2: controversy of President Trump's new ballroom. We'll get to JFK. Junior.
- 0:30Speaker 2: We'll get to Tiger Woods sad sad story, and we'll
- 0:35Speaker 2: get to that stupid Inner Circle thing that is We've
- 0:38Speaker 2: got to be one of the worst dinners ever put on.
- 0:40Speaker 2: We'll get to that coming up. So, yeah, the No Kings,
- 0:45Speaker 2: it's very important. The snow Kings, what do you call
- 0:48Speaker 2: it a march or rally? The snow King stuff is
- 0:51Speaker 2: really really important because it's like a therapy session for
- 0:56Speaker 2: these Trump derangements syndrome people. They're all just going nuts
- 1:00Speaker 2: with hatred and rage and just the nuts about Trump.
- 1:04Speaker 2: So they need an outlet, so they get out in
- 1:06Speaker 2: the street. They got signs, they got costumes. You look
- 1:09Speaker 2: at it looks like Halloween at the Senior Center. They're
- 1:12Speaker 2: all it's a mixture of the old senior citizens, the
- 1:15Speaker 2: angry old senior citizens. The blue haired nosering crowd is
- 1:19Speaker 2: out there and they're all marching and just screaming and yell.
- 1:23Speaker 2: It looks like New Year's Eve at the nuthouse. And
- 1:26Speaker 2: it's good for them. Gives them something to do. And
- 1:29Speaker 2: they all go home and watch themselves on the news
- 1:31Speaker 2: and then they watch Trevor Noah and MS Now and
- 1:36Speaker 2: all that, and they're protesting no kings, and it was
- 1:39Speaker 2: a very successful march. You look around, there's no kings.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Obviously they did the trick. Actually, the last time we
- 1:47Speaker 2: had a king, we did have a king in America,
- 1:50Speaker 2: it was seventeen seventy five. It was King George the Third.
- 1:54Speaker 2: So I guess they're protesting him, which I guess is good,
- 1:58Speaker 2: But you're two hundred and fifty one years too late.
- 2:03Speaker 2: It's really just I mean, a lot of these Trump
- 2:08Speaker 2: haters trump dearrangement syndrome people. Many of them are very
- 2:12Speaker 2: smart people. They are attorneys, they're professors, but they're just childish.
- 2:17Speaker 2: They're just crazy and childish when it comes to Trump.
- 2:21Speaker 2: Nobody worse than Robert de Niro. It's tough to watch.
- 2:27Speaker 2: I could separate in my head, but it's tough to
- 2:29Speaker 2: watch a de Niro movie now, because you see the
- 2:32Speaker 2: tough guy and Goodfellows, the tough guy in Casino, then
- 2:35Speaker 2: you watch them in real life. He's a crying, weak, little,
- 2:41Speaker 2: just ridiculous figure. So he was at the rally, he
- 2:45Speaker 2: was trying to speak, could barely get the words out,
- 2:50Speaker 2: and it was strange he was reading it off a script.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Guy's a professional actor. You'd think he'd be able to
- 2:57Speaker 2: actually just memorize that it was a couple of cents.
- 3:00Speaker 2: But he was fumbling and mumbling. And you gotta remember,
- 3:04Speaker 2: as we always point out, it was Truman Capoti that
- 3:06Speaker 2: first pointed this out. The greatest actors. I'm not trying
- 3:09Speaker 2: a good actors. I'm talking with the most brilliant actors
- 3:13Speaker 2: were always stupid in real life. There were always very
- 3:16Speaker 2: dumb people. Now I don't know why that is. I'm
- 3:18Speaker 2: not a psychologist. I can't explain it. But the Capoti
- 3:21Speaker 2: always went through the whole list, from Marlon Brando to
- 3:25Speaker 2: all the great actors were incredibly dumb. So there must
- 3:29Speaker 2: be something to it. It must help them just be
- 3:32Speaker 2: a better actor, to be dumb, to be able to
- 3:34Speaker 2: transform themselves into somebody else. So the No Kings yelling
- 3:39Speaker 2: and screaming went on all weekend. It got a lot
- 3:41Speaker 2: of coverage. It had three billion dollars behind it. It
- 3:46Speaker 2: was financed with three billion dollars money from Soros, money
- 3:51Speaker 2: from Roy Singman and those soda guys. It was five
- 3:54Speaker 2: hundred organizations behind it. That three billion dollars was funneled
- 3:59Speaker 2: into those five hundred different organizations, all in different areas
- 4:03Speaker 2: to get this whole thing going. But it's like a club.
- 4:08Speaker 2: It's like, it's not just the march. It's a social
- 4:12Speaker 2: life for a lot of these lunatics. You know, like
- 4:15Speaker 2: if you go to a Mets game, a lot of
- 4:16Speaker 2: the people are real baseball fanatics. They're studying the game.
- 4:19Speaker 2: But a lot of the people, and this is fine,
- 4:21Speaker 2: they're up in the bleachers, they're wherever. They're there for
- 4:24Speaker 2: the camaraderie, the beer. They're having fun meeting people. It's
- 4:28Speaker 2: a party for them, which is fine. It's like a
- 4:30Speaker 2: baseball party. So this is like a Trump arrangement syndrome party.
- 4:34Speaker 2: So for many of these people, it's a party. Now,
- 4:36Speaker 2: when it comes to the idea of a No King's Day, well,
- 4:40Speaker 2: we've already had a No King's day. For years it's
- 4:43Speaker 2: called the fourth of July. That's what that was. It
- 4:45Speaker 2: was a no King's Day. It was Independence Day to
- 4:48Speaker 2: celebrate getting rid of the king. So we've always had
- 4:51Speaker 2: a No King's Day. But as I always point out
- 4:54Speaker 2: to you, liberals hate the Fourth of July American flags
- 4:58Speaker 2: and fireworks and p They don't like that stuff. So
- 5:02Speaker 2: they like their own no kings. Dare. I don't know
- 5:03Speaker 2: exactly what king they're protesting, but and a lot of
- 5:07Speaker 2: people say, well, yeah, a lot of them are the young,
- 5:10Speaker 2: pink haired nosering crowd. Well what are all these senior citizens.
- 5:14Speaker 2: There's so many senior citizens. Those are the elderly hippies
- 5:17Speaker 2: of the late nineteen sixties. They're all there. These are
- 5:21Speaker 2: the nineteen sixties Woodstock, Hayte Ashbury hippies in their golden
- 5:27Speaker 2: years out there in the street screaming. Now, if you're
- 5:31Speaker 2: really against no kings, if you had a serious principle,
- 5:35Speaker 2: here they do no kings. If that's really what you're about,
- 5:40Speaker 2: well then what you should be fighting for is term limits.
- 5:42Speaker 2: That's where you get your kings. And if your president
- 5:45Speaker 2: you've only got a four year term, maybe you could
- 5:47Speaker 2: get re elected, but Trump's only been in office five years.
- 5:50Speaker 2: You got Chuck Schumer, he's been there forty nine years.
- 5:53Speaker 2: You got Pelosi forty seven years, you got Mitch McConnell
- 5:57Speaker 2: one hundred and fifty years, you got all. That's where
- 5:59Speaker 2: you get your kings, permanent, permanent government people. So if
- 6:03Speaker 2: you're really for no kings, you gotta fight for term limits.
- 6:07Speaker 2: And President Trump should bring it up. That should be
- 6:09Speaker 2: his no King's movement. Term limits on everybody. If you're
- 6:12Speaker 2: in the Senate two terms, if you're in the House
- 6:15Speaker 2: two terms. Although House is short, two years, maybe four
- 6:18Speaker 2: terms in the House, but you gotta have term limits.
- 6:22Speaker 2: That's the way you get rid of kings. Hey, the
- 6:25Speaker 2: tiger Wood situation was so tragic. Now, nobody's been in
- 6:31Speaker 2: more car crashers. If you had a contest, well, I
- 6:33Speaker 2: think Billy Joel might win. How many crashes has he
- 6:35Speaker 2: been in? But that's probably drinking. In the tiger Woods case,
- 6:39Speaker 2: it's not alcohol. It's not alcohol, it's drugs. It's medication. Now,
- 6:45Speaker 2: the first crash was what year was that? It was
- 6:49Speaker 2: two thousand and nine. I remember I was filling in
- 6:52Speaker 2: for Sean Hannity. It was three to five. The show
- 6:56Speaker 2: was about to start, was just about to go in
- 6:57Speaker 2: the year. All of a sudden, the bulletin come in
- 7:00Speaker 2: the breaking news Tiger Woods has been involved in a
- 7:03Speaker 2: car accident. And we're about to go on the air
- 7:06Speaker 2: with this, and they're getting me the details, and it
- 7:09Speaker 2: says he was in his driveway and he was coming out.
- 7:12Speaker 2: He hit a tree on one side and he hit
- 7:13Speaker 2: a fire hydrant on the other side. So I knew
- 7:17Speaker 2: right away that he was being chased. You know, when
- 7:22Speaker 2: you come out of your driveway, you're going very slow.
- 7:24Speaker 2: You couldn't hit someone on this side then hit someone
- 7:26Speaker 2: that said you're going too slow. So obviously he was
- 7:29Speaker 2: being chased because he must have been backing out of
- 7:31Speaker 2: his driveway like at fifty miles an hour to hit
- 7:33Speaker 2: one thing, bounce off and hit another thing. And sure enough,
- 7:36Speaker 2: it turned out it was his wife chasing him with
- 7:39Speaker 2: a golf club, trying to kill him because she found
- 7:41Speaker 2: his phone and the raunchy conversations with other women. Now
- 7:47Speaker 2: many celebrities do this, but all these celebrities that do this,
- 7:54Speaker 2: I'll save this for when I write a book or something.
- 7:56Speaker 2: I don't know I'm going to know all these stories.
- 7:58Speaker 2: But all these celebrities do this, but they got another
- 8:01Speaker 2: phone that the wife doesn't know about, and they got
- 8:04Speaker 2: a guy usually who takes care of all these arrangements,
- 8:06Speaker 2: making the dates and all that, and it's done through
- 8:08Speaker 2: his phone. So even if the wife got the husband's
- 8:12Speaker 2: regular phone, he wouldn't see a thing and she wouldn't
- 8:14Speaker 2: see anything in there. But Tiger was naively one phone,
- 8:17Speaker 2: and he tries to do it all in that phone,
- 8:19Speaker 2: and he goes to the take a shower, and he's
- 8:21Speaker 2: not in the shower, and the wife gets his phone
- 8:23Speaker 2: and sees all this stuff. Two thousand and nine. Next
- 8:26Speaker 2: crash twenty seventeen. Remember the car went off the road,
- 8:30Speaker 2: went down a cliff or something. That was medication, you know,
- 8:33Speaker 2: in his defense, he's in tremendous pain from these injuries,
- 8:37Speaker 2: all kinds of injuries, so he's on all kinds of
- 8:39Speaker 2: that serious, heavy duty addictive pain medication. Then there was
- 8:43Speaker 2: the twenty twenty one crash, and then there was this week.
- 8:49Speaker 2: So that's the fourth crash that we know about. Fourth
- 8:52Speaker 2: serious crash. Now, Tiger is also known for being He's
- 8:57Speaker 2: notorious for speeding through his neighborhood. He's always speeding through
- 9:01Speaker 2: the neighborhood at ninety miles an hour. It's a quiet
- 9:03Speaker 2: little neighborhood Jupiter Island in Florida. But he's always speeding
- 9:07Speaker 2: like a maniac, going in and out of traffic, weaving
- 9:09Speaker 2: in and out of cars. Well, he tried it with
- 9:11Speaker 2: a truck. He didn't realize the truck was towing a
- 9:13Speaker 2: little trailer. He clipped that and his land Rover flipped over.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Police show up. Now he's been through this enough. He
- 9:24Speaker 2: took a breathalyzer at the scene. They could see that
- 9:27Speaker 2: he was impaired. They thought he was drunk or something.
- 9:29Speaker 2: They gave him a breathalyzer and he blew a triple zero.
- 9:33Speaker 2: That means no alcohol in his system. None zero. Then
- 9:39Speaker 2: they asked him about blood test or a urine test,
- 9:40Speaker 2: and he refused because he's been through this enough times.
- 9:44Speaker 2: He knows it's not alcohol, it's medication. It will show
- 9:47Speaker 2: up in the urine test, it will show up in
- 9:49Speaker 2: the blood test, so he refuses. Now, by refusing those tests,
- 9:52Speaker 2: that's a crime right there. So he's going to get
- 9:55Speaker 2: arrested for that. He's also, yeah, I mean smart not
- 10:01Speaker 2: to take the test because now there's no actual absolute
- 10:03Speaker 2: proof that he was on that medication. But don't prove it.
- 10:06Speaker 2: They'll find it, and you know, to find the pills,
- 10:10Speaker 2: they'll find the whole thing. So he's gonna have a
- 10:12Speaker 2: real problem. He's got to try to stay out of
- 10:14Speaker 2: jail this time. And it's gonna be tough. When you're
- 10:16Speaker 2: Tiger Woods and it's your home state, you can pull
- 10:19Speaker 2: a lot of strings. But it's like the third time,
- 10:24Speaker 2: fourth time, he's gonna have a problem. President Trump was
- 10:27Speaker 2: asked about it. I feel so badly.
- 10:29Speaker 3: He's, Uh, he's got some difficulty. There was an accident,
- 10:34Speaker 3: and that's all I know. A very close friend of mine.
- 10:37Speaker 3: He's an amazing person, amazing man.
- 10:40Speaker 2: But some difficulties.
- 10:43Speaker 4: We we don't.
- 10:45Speaker 2: I don't want to talk about it. Yeah, because the
- 10:47Speaker 2: President knows this guy's got a serious chance of going
- 10:50Speaker 2: to jail. He's got serious legal problems. Better to say nothing.
- 10:54Speaker 2: You don't want to do anything to influence what's going
- 10:57Speaker 2: to happen to him. So, oh hey, we've got to
- 11:00Speaker 2: mention the No Kings March No Kings. As I said,
- 11:04Speaker 2: it's senior citizens. A lot of senior citizens and one
- 11:07Speaker 2: elderly senior citizen came out for the New Kings March.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Actually he went to Minnesota. His name is Bruce Springstey,
- 11:15Speaker 2: and there was Bruce. It's like Bob Dylan in the
- 11:19Speaker 2: sixties at the protest there was Bruce where his protest
- 11:22Speaker 2: song about Minnesota kind of sad. He's become like a
- 11:25Speaker 2: parody of himself. We talk about old yeah, bull, it's
- 11:29Speaker 2: a good Joe Biden's singing. We'll remember the names. It's
- 11:33Speaker 2: really only two names. It's I mean, it's not like
- 11:35Speaker 2: Vietnam we got to remember sixty thousand names. Well remember that. Yeah,
- 11:39Speaker 2: I can remember them now. I can't remember Rene Good
- 11:44Speaker 2: and Alex pretty See, it's just two names. You can
- 11:48Speaker 2: do it. You can remember him. Hey, they had that
- 11:52Speaker 2: Inner Circle dinner. I heard them talking on the morning shows.
- 11:55Speaker 2: How come I how come I don't go to it? Well,
- 11:57Speaker 2: I used to go to it years ago. But it's
- 11:59Speaker 2: the worst the world. It is the absolute worst thing
- 12:02Speaker 2: you could ever sit through. And everybody there calls me
- 12:05Speaker 2: from the dinner telling me how horrible it is, and
- 12:08Speaker 2: they can't believe. Here's the problem with it. You know,
- 12:11Speaker 2: it sounds like it's the news media, the media, the
- 12:13Speaker 2: TV newspaper, the media of New York. Hold this dinner.
- 12:17Speaker 2: When you get there, you won't know who anybody is.
- 12:19Speaker 2: It's not any media you've ever heard of. It's the
- 12:21Speaker 2: backbenchers from every newsroom. It's the street reporters, the weekend
- 12:26Speaker 2: the people, it's the you know, even in the grand
- 12:29Speaker 2: days of the un Circle, it was never Chuck Scarborough,
- 12:32Speaker 2: it was never any of the big names. Always the backbenchers.
- 12:36Speaker 2: And they try to compare themselves to the White House
- 12:40Speaker 2: Correspondence dinner. But that's a professionally done dinner. It's very tight,
- 12:45Speaker 2: and they have some speeches, a couple of serious speeches,
- 12:49Speaker 2: and then one of the top comedians of the world
- 12:51Speaker 2: gets up in does twenty minutes and it's very funny.
- 12:54Speaker 2: And then the President gets up and there's a ten minute,
- 12:57Speaker 2: very funny response, and he has top comedy write his response.
- 13:01Speaker 2: This Inner Circle dinner is the most unbelievable ego maniac
- 13:06Speaker 2: festival you've ever seen. These are all these backbenchers from
- 13:09Speaker 2: the newsroom who you you don't even know. Sometimes they're
- 13:12Speaker 2: what they call double snaps. You'd go, yeah, what's his name,
- 13:16Speaker 2: Like you've seen the face, you just don't know who
- 13:17Speaker 2: it is. But they write this stuff out and they
- 13:25Speaker 2: have the most unbelievable egos. They can't edit anything, so
- 13:28Speaker 2: the show goes for like three hours. It's not that funny.
- 13:32Speaker 2: I mean, you find a couple of funny mint moments
- 13:33Speaker 2: here and there. But if a professional director of producer,
- 13:37Speaker 2: if a Louren Michaels came in, he'd say, what the
- 13:40Speaker 2: hell are you doing? Cut this down to forty minutes,
- 13:42Speaker 2: cut it down to thirty five minutes, and make it
- 13:44Speaker 2: a fast, tight thirty five minutes. This is three hours.
- 13:47Speaker 2: Most of it is lame and boring, and I don't
- 13:50Speaker 2: know where they ever get this idea. They they can't
- 13:52Speaker 2: sing or dance, I mean, which is fine. I can't either,
- 13:55Speaker 2: but they do like twenty five songs where they sing
- 13:58Speaker 2: and dance and costumes like it's a Broadway music. None
- 14:00Speaker 2: of them can sing or dance except one, what's her name,
- 14:03Speaker 2: Hazel Sanchez Channel eleven, actually actually ken sing and it's
- 14:07Speaker 2: pretty passable as a dancer. So there's one. But it's
- 14:11Speaker 2: the most ridiculous. And people are calling me from there
- 14:14Speaker 2: every time there's an inner circle dinner. It's a problem
- 14:16Speaker 2: because I'm always out on Saturday. They're all calling me,
- 14:18Speaker 2: Oh my God, it's like hour number two of the show.
- 14:20Speaker 2: It's just never stops. It's so lame. And Mam Donnie
- 14:23Speaker 2: they love Mom Donnie the press, so they're all over him.
- 14:27Speaker 2: The whole thing is them conspiring of Mom Donnie to
- 14:29Speaker 2: put this thing on. He works with them, They work
- 14:31Speaker 2: with him all and they put him at a seat
- 14:34Speaker 2: of honor right in the middle of the room, and
- 14:37Speaker 2: then they work out all these sketches with him and
- 14:39Speaker 2: then he does his respect. But they're coordinating with Mom
- 14:41Speaker 2: Donnie round the clock for weeks and months on this
- 14:44Speaker 2: whole thing. And then in Mam Donnie's long piece, somewhere
- 14:50Speaker 2: in there at the end, he runs a video where
- 14:52Speaker 2: they asked Curtis to come over and film this at
- 14:54Speaker 2: the It's filmed in the Mayor's office at City Hall,
- 14:57Speaker 2: so it's like a little minute and a half of Curtis.
- 15:00Speaker 2: So as soon as this I'm men to have a Curtis.
- 15:02Speaker 2: They're going crazy. How dare Curtis get involved with Mayor
- 15:05Speaker 2: Mom Donnie? How dare he get involved in the skit
- 15:07Speaker 2: with mayor? But you guys just spent three hours involved
- 15:09Speaker 2: with Mayor Mom Donnie. You just did forty skits with him,
- 15:12Speaker 2: but are he is so mad about Curtis? And again
- 15:15Speaker 2: it was cute, but it wasn't that funny. I still
- 15:17Speaker 2: don't really get it. It's something about Mam Donnie is
- 15:19Speaker 2: going to have a cat, so he needs a doctor
- 15:22Speaker 2: to give him an allergy shot for the cat, and
- 15:24Speaker 2: the doctor is Curtis. It's it's cute, It's okay. Anyway,
- 15:29Speaker 2: I don't know if the nurse told you.
- 15:30Speaker 5: I'm sort of going to a midlife crisis, you know,
- 15:32Speaker 5: changing careers.
- 15:34Speaker 2: It's been a little traumatic.
- 15:36Speaker 6: What were you doing before?
- 15:37Speaker 5: Oh, you know, hosting radio shows, protecting parage right to
- 15:41Speaker 5: exist and most importantly, helping to destroy finished old political dynasties.
- 15:50Speaker 4: By the way, it isn't all about me.
- 15:52Speaker 2: What do you do?
- 15:53Speaker 6: No, I'm a content creator, but I do little governing
- 15:56Speaker 6: on the side. Anyway, first day you're gonna do great.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Doctor clela oh glaze in me seem it goes on.
- 16:04Speaker 2: It's cute, but it's like if this were a real
- 16:07Speaker 2: like Saturday Night Live or a real professional show, the
- 16:11Speaker 2: producer would reject most of these sketches, or they'd tighten
- 16:14Speaker 2: them up. The whole show would be thirty five minutes,
- 16:16Speaker 2: not three hours and people can't sing or dan. It
- 16:19Speaker 2: was just embarrassing. And you should see they spend a
- 16:23Speaker 2: fortune producing this thing. They spent a fortune producing this thing.
- 16:27Speaker 2: If you saw the amount that ends up going to
- 16:29Speaker 2: the charity, because it's all expenses producing this thing, you
- 16:32Speaker 2: wouldn't be too thrilled. But then all hell broke loose?
- 16:38Speaker 2: What is Curtis doing with them? Mayor you guys just
- 16:40Speaker 2: spend three hours in the room with them. And by
- 16:42Speaker 2: the way, if you go there, you don't see anybody
- 16:44Speaker 2: in the audience anymore. It used to be every politician
- 16:47Speaker 2: had to come. They felt they had to the senator, Schumer,
- 16:50Speaker 2: the other senator, police commissioner, fire commission. Don't see them
- 16:53Speaker 2: there anymore. In fact, you could look around the room,
- 16:55Speaker 2: you'd recognize about five people in the whole room. Anyway,
- 16:58Speaker 2: we'll take some calls. Next. Eight hundred three two one
- 17:01Speaker 2: zero seven ten is the number eight hundred three two
- 17:05Speaker 2: one zero seven ten in Mark.
- 17:08Speaker 1: On demand by setting a preset for his podcast on
- 17:12Speaker 1: the iHeart radio app. Now back to Mark Simon on woor.
- 17:18Speaker 2: Eight. Let's tax and calls. Eight hundred three two one
- 17:21Speaker 2: zero seven ten is the number. Let's go to Mike
- 17:23Speaker 2: and Brooklyn. Mike, how you doing, Hey.
- 17:26Speaker 7: Mark, Hey, listen.
- 17:27Speaker 8: I was listening to you earlier talk about Tiger Woods
- 17:30Speaker 8: and how tragic it is about what happened.
- 17:32Speaker 4: You know, what's tragic if it kills somebody next time.
- 17:35Speaker 2: Well, I didn't say. I didn't say it was you
- 17:40Speaker 2: should be at the No Kings rally elling. I didn't
- 17:42Speaker 2: say it was tragic. I think it was the President,
- 17:44Speaker 2: who's his close friend. I feel so badly.
- 17:46Speaker 3: He's uh, he's got some difficulty. There was an accident,
- 17:51Speaker 3: and that's all I know. A very close friend of
- 17:54Speaker 3: mine is an amazing person, amazing man, but some difficulty.
- 18:01Speaker 2: We don't know. He didn't say it either. He didn't
- 18:03Speaker 2: say tragic either. You know. I guess if anything was tragic,
- 18:05Speaker 2: it's just that the guy has so much talent. And
- 18:09Speaker 2: it all started in two thousand and nine, that first crash.
- 18:12Speaker 2: That was his wife chasing him down the drug. But
- 18:14Speaker 2: that's where he really injured himself and never played the
- 18:17Speaker 2: same again. So, I mean, here was a guy one
- 18:19Speaker 2: of the greatest golfers, might have been the greatest golfer
- 18:22Speaker 2: ever had he not gotten that first injury two thousand
- 18:25Speaker 2: and nine, Let's go to Mike and Florida. Mike, how
- 18:27Speaker 2: you doing, good morning, Mark?
- 18:29Speaker 9: Yes, Mike, I really got a kick out of the
- 18:32Speaker 9: No King's Hollywood division protesting, considering that they all insist
- 18:37Speaker 9: on being treated like kings and queens. Many of them
- 18:40Speaker 9: are referred to as Hollywood Royalty, which is kind of
- 18:43Speaker 9: interesting and not to mention, Bruce Springsteen is known as
- 18:46Speaker 9: the Boss. No, it's a nice little, tiny package of
- 18:51Speaker 9: self unawareness.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Very good point, Mike, thanks for calling. Yeah, you know
- 18:55Speaker 2: Gail King, same thing. Her name is King. It's Gail King.
- 19:00Speaker 2: Did you see that video of her leaving the CBS.
- 19:02Speaker 2: It's reigning and there's a guy whose job is to
- 19:04Speaker 2: hold the umbrella over her head as she walks out
- 19:07Speaker 2: to the car. She can't even hold her own umbrella.
- 19:10Speaker 2: And her name is King. Talk about no Kings. Let's
- 19:12Speaker 2: go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing?
- 19:16Speaker 8: Good morning, Mark? A morning Mara, Mark speaking about the Boss.
- 19:20Speaker 8: Had Bruce Springsteen Trito audition for a record contract and
- 19:26Speaker 8: or producer Jimmy Jovine who I know? Uh, he would
- 19:30Speaker 8: have never got a contract for his first at that
- 19:32Speaker 8: Born to Run album. Mark in Italy in Milan, in
- 19:37Speaker 8: Rome and in some other big cities in Italy, they
- 19:41Speaker 8: had that stupid their version of that stupid No King's March.
- 19:45Speaker 8: All the communist unions were marching with them, and all
- 19:50Speaker 8: the same you know, purple head, nose ring, people screaming,
- 19:55Speaker 8: But it was all in Italian and the funniest, the
- 19:59Speaker 8: oddist thing about it. They're marching along with Palestinians, waving
- 20:04Speaker 8: the Palestinians flags and everything. Meanwhile the Palestinians, the offspring,
- 20:11Speaker 8: the first and second generation Palestinian kids, are ruining their country.
- 20:16Speaker 8: For the most part, they are drug dealers. They're like
- 20:20Speaker 8: the people in Minneapolis, most of them around welfare. They
- 20:25Speaker 8: run every scam in the book. And I know because
- 20:29Speaker 8: my friend had to break a couple of our people's faces.
- 20:32Speaker 2: Yeah, they were.
- 20:35Speaker 8: Doing the same stupid nonsense there, you know, it's my favorite.
- 20:40Speaker 8: People were marching in the No Kings Did you see Mark?
- 20:43Speaker 8: There bunch of people who watched as frogs and the
- 20:46Speaker 8: No Kings march. They were dressed as frogs.
- 20:48Speaker 2: Literally, I forget what that means. Frogs means something to them,
- 20:51Speaker 2: It's well, I don't know what it means. They used
- 20:55Speaker 2: that frog symbol all the time. It's one of their emojis.
- 20:57Speaker 2: I forget what it means, but it was.
- 20:59Speaker 8: The stupidest sticking in the world. And they're screaming in
- 21:01Speaker 8: the and the same old bromides. Oh and also Bernie Sanders,
- 21:05Speaker 8: was that a Democratic Socialist confabt this week and weekend
- 21:11Speaker 8: screaming the same old stuff. People are dying in the streets.
- 21:15Speaker 8: Kids have no food, there's no healthcare. We need this,
- 21:19Speaker 8: that and the other. And now the newest things is
- 21:22Speaker 8: they want people to pay for even pre teen daycare
- 21:29Speaker 8: and activities.
- 21:32Speaker 2: It's crazy. But Vincent, great call. Thanks for colling. We'll
- 21:34Speaker 2: get back to this. No kings. They were also seen
- 21:37Speaker 2: waving Iranian flags. That's not a king, that's a brutal,
- 21:40Speaker 2: vicious dictator killing people. But they were waving communists flag.
- 21:44Speaker 2: No kings. Hey, we'll talk to the greatest columnist of all.
- 21:48Speaker 2: We'll talk to Michael Goodwin next on seven to ten
- 21:51Speaker 2: WR talking about everything you care about. Mark Simons on WR, Well,
- 22:00Speaker 2: the best commons in America. Michael Goodwin every Sunday and
- 22:03Speaker 2: every Wednesday in the New York Post. He could get
- 22:06Speaker 2: all of his columns. They're all up on the New
- 22:07Speaker 2: York Post website. Michael Goodwin, how you doing.
- 22:11Speaker 7: H good morning, Mark, Thank you.
- 22:13Speaker 2: Hey. A great column yesterday about the bigotry against Israel
- 22:17Speaker 2: with something in the Middle East, and why is it
- 22:20Speaker 2: spread all over the world and why has it infected
- 22:22Speaker 2: the Democratic Party. Yeah.
- 22:25Speaker 7: I think that's really the big issue. And you know,
- 22:30Speaker 7: the idea particularly I try to focus on here is
- 22:35Speaker 7: that President Trump was hoodwinked by Jews, especially Prime Minister Yahoo,
- 22:43Speaker 7: an American and Israeli Jews, into joining the Israel in
- 22:48Speaker 7: the attack on around. It's just an amazing accusation because
- 22:55Speaker 7: there's no truth to it. I mean, it's as though
- 22:59Speaker 7: there's no reason to attack Iran for American security, but
- 23:03Speaker 7: of course there is. We are the great Satan. We
- 23:08Speaker 7: are the ones that Iran has pledge to destroy with
- 23:12Speaker 7: this nuclear weapon. We are the ones whose soldiers has
- 23:16Speaker 7: been killing for the last forty five years. So this
- 23:20Speaker 7: idea that somehow we have no dog in the hunt,
- 23:26Speaker 7: it's crazy. It's it's a crazy idea, and I think
- 23:29Speaker 7: it is his anti Semitism. It is only because there's
- 23:34Speaker 7: people who hate Jews or who hate Israel same thing
- 23:39Speaker 7: effectively these days, and it's it's ignorant of the facts.
- 23:46Speaker 2: Well, or they're just lying.
- 23:47Speaker 4: You know.
- 23:47Speaker 2: They did the same thing with the Iraq War. They
- 23:49Speaker 2: blamed Israel. The record shows Israel was actually opposed to
- 23:53Speaker 2: the Iraq War at the time, trying to stop us.
- 23:55Speaker 2: They thought we're going after the wrong target. But why
- 23:59Speaker 2: do anti Semitism though deep down, I mean, the Jewish
- 24:02Speaker 2: community has been the biggest supporters of Democrats, why did
- 24:05Speaker 2: they turn on them with that?
- 24:07Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean, I think it's been building. I think
- 24:11Speaker 7: the hatred for Netta Yahoo has become sort of an excuse.
- 24:18Speaker 7: But you think back about Barack Obama, right, trying to
- 24:22Speaker 7: basically unset him, all of the willingness of the Obama
- 24:29Speaker 7: and Biden to ignore Israel's concerns about Iran, about Hamas,
- 24:35Speaker 7: about the Hooti's about Hezbollah. So there has been I
- 24:39Speaker 7: think in the Democratic Party a string of recent leaders
- 24:44Speaker 7: who don't get it, who don't get the Iranian issue.
- 24:49Speaker 7: I mean, you think back mark of Obama sending around
- 24:53Speaker 7: those palets of cash, lifting the sanctions and making that deal.
- 24:59Speaker 7: And even John Kerry then who helped negotiate the deal,
- 25:04Speaker 7: was asked about Iran using some of that money to
- 25:09Speaker 7: fund Hamas to whodies has said, yes, we know some
- 25:14Speaker 7: of them will end up there, but but we think
- 25:17Speaker 7: it's a good deal. I mean, how do you argue
- 25:21Speaker 7: when someone said it's okay they're funding terrorists.
- 25:24Speaker 2: Yeah, well, hey, Michael Goodwin, the No King's rally all
- 25:30Speaker 2: over the country Saturday. I guess it was very successful.
- 25:32Speaker 2: I'm looking around. We don't have a king, so I
- 25:34Speaker 2: guess they pulled it off.
- 25:36Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, it wasn't not what'sn't necessary? Right, we didn't
- 25:40Speaker 7: have a king before the rally, that we don't have
- 25:43Speaker 7: one actor. I guess that that's called success among the Democrats.
- 25:48Speaker 7: But a mark on the issue of anti Semitism. I'd
- 25:53Speaker 7: like to raise this point that you know this idea
- 25:57Speaker 7: that Trump was hoodwinked, But what about the Arab States
- 26:03Speaker 7: are allies in Saudis, Kuwait, Cutter, Bahrain, the Emirates. They
- 26:11Speaker 7: are not contributing to the fight they but they are
- 26:15Speaker 7: asking America to make sure Iran can never attack them again.
- 26:21Speaker 7: So they're asking us to fight for them, and they're
- 26:24Speaker 7: asking Israel to fight for them. They have not lifted
- 26:28Speaker 7: a finger to defend themselves. They have been they have
- 26:33Speaker 7: all the top equipment most of which is Israel has
- 26:37Speaker 7: that we've built and sold are given to them and
- 26:40Speaker 7: they don't use it. They're not part of this war. Well,
- 26:44Speaker 7: where's the outrage that we're being hoodwinked by the Arabs
- 26:49Speaker 7: fighting for them. It's only the Queues who got blamed.
- 26:53Speaker 2: Yeah, nobody pushed this harder on President Trump than the
- 26:57Speaker 2: Saudis did. But if we were to go to sleep
- 27:01Speaker 2: and wake up in two months, what will Iran look like?
- 27:06Speaker 7: Yeah, and they continue to push a. They to now
- 27:10Speaker 7: tell America don't stop, don't stop. They don't want to
- 27:14Speaker 7: see fire. They don't want to stand as long until
- 27:18Speaker 7: Iran is smashed and the regime was overthrown. So have
- 27:23Speaker 7: they have the same objectives we do ALTHA, they're asking
- 27:26Speaker 7: us to do the fighting, toil make that happen.
- 27:29Speaker 2: Yeah. So once let's say everything works out well in Iran,
- 27:33Speaker 2: you get a more moderate government, some freedom in Iran,
- 27:37Speaker 2: and then the next target is Cuba. Don't you feel
- 27:40Speaker 2: bad for these democrats now they all got to go
- 27:42Speaker 2: out and buy Cuban flags instead of the Iranian flags.
- 27:46Speaker 7: Yeah, go down and wrap their arms around the Castro family.
- 27:52Speaker 7: You know, Cuba hats become a basket case. The Democrats again,
- 27:58Speaker 7: remember Barack obam of a baseball game of Castro. They
- 28:02Speaker 7: go the waves together, right, I mean, the Democrats foreign
- 28:08Speaker 7: policy is one of weakness. And that doesn't mean you
- 28:12Speaker 7: have to support wars everywhere or picking out their leaders,
- 28:17Speaker 7: but it does mean you have to put America first.
- 28:21Speaker 7: You cannot have these these regimes that are hostile to us,
- 28:26Speaker 7: either you know, ninety miles away or even half a
- 28:30Speaker 7: world away, and you're just gonna sit there wait for
- 28:33Speaker 7: them to attack.
- 28:34Speaker 2: Is that the idea? Yeah? Well, it's a great column.
- 28:38Speaker 2: You can read Michael Goodman's column in the in the
- 28:41Speaker 2: New York Post. Hey, you know we've got a big
- 28:43Speaker 2: problem in New York with anti Semitic attacks and hate crime. Yes,
- 28:48Speaker 2: but the Mamdani people that've come up with a great solution.
- 28:51Speaker 2: They changed the way they count them now, so the
- 28:55Speaker 2: numbers will appear lower. Isn't that ridiculous?
- 28:58Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 28:59Speaker 7: Yeah, wait, they got their hands on them on the
- 29:02Speaker 7: murder ray and the burglary arrays and the shooting ray.
- 29:07Speaker 7: I mean this is this is massaging the numbers. Could
- 29:11Speaker 7: cut the results and want that you want not the
- 29:14Speaker 7: rail a result?
- 29:15Speaker 2: Yeah, well, Michael Goodwin, great talking. You a great column.
- 29:18Speaker 2: Everybody go read it. All its columns are up on
- 29:20Speaker 2: the New York Post website. Michael Goodwin will do it
- 29:23Speaker 2: again soon. Thanks for being with us, my fathers. Thank you, Mark.
- 29:27Speaker 2: Take care. Yeah, it's actually true. The you know, Mamdannie,
- 29:32Speaker 2: they're all through the campaign and lately it talks about
- 29:35Speaker 2: anti Islamic. It's not a problem in New York. Oh,
- 29:38Speaker 2: there've been one or two anti Islamic attexts, but there
- 29:41Speaker 2: have been thousands and thousands of anti semiticat texts. That's
- 29:44Speaker 2: where the problem is and you got to do something
- 29:46Speaker 2: about it. So this is not a joke. The Mom
- 29:48Speaker 2: Donnie administration has got the number and they've lowered the number.
- 29:52Speaker 2: And the way they did that was they changed the
- 29:54Speaker 2: way they counted, so it will appear lower.
- 29:57Speaker 10: Uh.
- 29:58Speaker 2: In fact, now it could be the most obvious anti
- 30:01Speaker 2: Semitic hate crime in the world, but it can't be
- 30:03Speaker 2: classified as that unless it goes before a Mamdani commission
- 30:07Speaker 2: will decide whether or not it is a hate crime.
- 30:10Speaker 2: So there's a lot of ways to massage the numbers.
- 30:13Speaker 2: The police departments have always done that in different ways,
- 30:16Speaker 2: but this is the most blatant, most obvious one I've
- 30:20Speaker 2: ever seen. So, hey, we got a lot to get
- 30:22Speaker 2: to in the next hour. Lots to talk about. We'll
- 30:25Speaker 2: get to JFK Junior. We'll get to the ballroom controversy.
- 30:30Speaker 2: The New York Times has getting a lot of flak now.
- 30:33Speaker 2: You know, it's just used to be the paper of record.
- 30:35Speaker 2: It used to be such a respected newspaper. Now it's
- 30:40Speaker 2: just considered fake news. But if you look at this
- 30:42Speaker 2: ballroom investigation they did, it is about the most corrupt
- 30:47Speaker 2: fake news thing ever imaginable. So we'll get to that
- 30:51Speaker 2: coming up. Hey, make sure you follow me on Instagram.
- 30:54Speaker 2: It's Mark Simone NYC at Instagram. Mark Simone NYC at Instagram. Hey,
- 31:01Speaker 2: don't forget Buck and Clay Noon Today. They do a
- 31:03Speaker 2: wonderful show. You'll learn a lot from them. Every day
- 31:05Speaker 2: noon to three. Then at three o'clock, you got the
- 31:08Speaker 2: most listen to radio show in America, Sean Hannity. You
- 31:11Speaker 2: got Jesse Kelly every night at six and Jimmy Fayla
- 31:15Speaker 2: really funny show, a lot of great stuff. You'll just
- 31:18Speaker 2: laugh all through. It's Jimmy Falan Now every night at
- 31:21Speaker 2: nine on seven to ten.
- 31:22Speaker 11: Wr Master New York, Mark Zimone. He's on seven ten
- 31:28Speaker 11: wr you know it's almost April.
- 31:33Speaker 2: How that happened. It's gonna be April first on Wednesday,
- 31:37Speaker 2: April Foolnesday also pass over on Wednesday. So there's a
- 31:41Speaker 2: fishing boat in the Keys in Florida, Captain Jose Rodriguez,
- 31:47Speaker 2: and he takes clients out four to five times a
- 31:50Speaker 2: week in the Florida Keys Fishing Charter. That's a big
- 31:52Speaker 2: thing to do down there. So he takes these guys
- 31:55Speaker 2: out and they catch a fish. They reel in a fish.
- 31:59Speaker 2: They could tell this is really going to be something spectacular.
- 32:02Speaker 2: Well it turns out they reeled in a monster five
- 32:07Speaker 2: hundred pound swordfish. Now they're getting all kinds of press.
- 32:12Speaker 2: They're big superstars now in Florida. This is considered unbelievable
- 32:17Speaker 2: and they're all talking about how they're great they captured
- 32:20Speaker 2: a five hundred pound fish. But now I'm thinking about this,
- 32:23Speaker 2: what do you do with a five hundred pound fish?
- 32:24Speaker 2: How would you how would you even get that in
- 32:27Speaker 2: the boat. You know, your sofa, your couch is like
- 32:32Speaker 2: three hundred pounds, so this would be like reeling in
- 32:36Speaker 2: a sofa and a love seat. How would you even
- 32:39Speaker 2: get that in the boat? And how would you get
- 32:41Speaker 2: that out of the boat. It's five hundred pounds. Even
- 32:45Speaker 2: if you had four or five people, you can't lift
- 32:48Speaker 2: five hundred pound. You need a crane to get it
- 32:51Speaker 2: out of the boat. And what would you do with it?
- 32:56Speaker 2: You would cut it with a knife. I mean, it
- 32:57Speaker 2: would take you years to cut that thing up, five
- 33:00Speaker 2: hundred pound fish. But and what are you gonna do
- 33:03Speaker 2: with it? You're gonna stuff it and put it on
- 33:05Speaker 2: You can't put it on the mantle. You take up
- 33:07Speaker 2: the whole wall of your house. Absolutely ridiculous. Hey, we
- 33:10Speaker 2: got a lot to get to in the next hour. Oh,
- 33:12Speaker 2: our old buddy, Steve Shirrippa will be with us. I
- 33:15Speaker 2: love him on the Sopranos, on Blue Bloods, and he's
- 33:18Speaker 2: got a million projects going on right now. So we'll
- 33:21Speaker 2: talk to him in the next hour and we'll get
- 33:23Speaker 2: back to No Kings and a whole lot more. We'll
- 33:26Speaker 2: get to JFK Junior, the real story coming up in
- 33:30Speaker 2: the next hour. So don't go away. Mark Simone here
- 33:33Speaker 2: every day ten to noon or listen anytime. Get the
- 33:36Speaker 2: podcast back after the news seven.
- 33:41Speaker 12: He's always a headline I had Mark Simon seven ten
- 33:45Speaker 12: wo off.
- 33:50Speaker 2: Well, we got a big hour coming up. Lots to
- 33:52Speaker 2: get to this hour. Now the latest in Iran, Well,
- 33:56Speaker 2: Iran has been acting up and the current leader is
- 33:59Speaker 2: the head of the parliament. This is not a great
- 34:03Speaker 2: job to be the leader of Iran. You know, you
- 34:06Speaker 2: probably don't have long to live if you are. But
- 34:09Speaker 2: the Republic's Parliament had Speaker of the Parliament. He's like
- 34:15Speaker 2: the Mitch McConnell of Iran actually is leading the country.
- 34:22Speaker 2: And Iran escalated its attax overnight. They hit an oil
- 34:26Speaker 2: refinery in Israel. They hit an electric plant in Kuwait. Now,
- 34:32Speaker 2: they've been having these talks with Iran and part of
- 34:34Speaker 2: the deal was everybody would stop hitting infrastructure. Well, Iran
- 34:38Speaker 2: totally violated it and hit that oil refinery in Israel,
- 34:44Speaker 2: setting it on fire. They also hit an electrical plant
- 34:47Speaker 2: in Kuwait. If asked President Trump, now what about that,
- 34:51Speaker 2: and what's your response, and he said, you'll see shortly.
- 34:57Speaker 2: So expect a massive day of bombing at some point
- 35:03Speaker 2: this week, massive, massive day of bombing. It'll be absolutely
- 35:09Speaker 2: brutal on Iran. He's been telling them, you know, you
- 35:12Speaker 2: got five days you got ten days, he's been telling
- 35:15Speaker 2: them lately. You got a couple of days to get
- 35:17Speaker 2: this these negotiations wrapped up. Otherwise you're gonna really really
- 35:21Speaker 2: get hit, really get hit. So expect that to happen
- 35:25Speaker 2: this week. Something just overwhelming to happen this week, now,
- 35:30Speaker 2: the president. If you watch the Sunday shows that get
- 35:33Speaker 2: you all crazy that we're gonna have ground troops, it's
- 35:35Speaker 2: obvious ground troops will be there. Ten, twenty thousand, and
- 35:38Speaker 2: thirty thousand. All these ground troops are on the way.
- 35:40Speaker 2: That has nothing to do with anything that It's just
- 35:44Speaker 2: a tactic that's always used when you're having a conflict
- 35:47Speaker 2: with somebody. You send a destroy you know, a battleship
- 35:49Speaker 2: to be out on the on the coast, and negotiation
- 35:53Speaker 2: is not going on with three battleships and nine destroyers.
- 35:56Speaker 2: You just park that stuff there. It's just for a show,
- 35:59Speaker 2: it's for less. It's the same thing with the ground troops.
- 36:02Speaker 2: You send them there just as a threat. That doesn't
- 36:05Speaker 2: mean they're actually going to do anything. Now that's possible.
- 36:08Speaker 2: They could take carg Island. That's the island where Iran
- 36:11Speaker 2: has all of its oil refineries and all of its
- 36:14Speaker 2: oil production. It's absolutely crucial to the Iranian economy. They
- 36:20Speaker 2: could take Carg Island seize that, well, that would mean
- 36:24Speaker 2: ground troops that have to be there. Well, it's possible,
- 36:27Speaker 2: and it's possible that if you put ground troops on
- 36:30Speaker 2: carg Island, they wouldn't really be in that much danger
- 36:33Speaker 2: in that the problem with ground troops, if you put
- 36:35Speaker 2: them somewhere, Iran can hit them with drones or missiles.
- 36:38Speaker 2: But it's unlikely that Iran would blow up carg Island.
- 36:43Speaker 2: It's absolutely vital to their existence, very unlikely to do
- 36:48Speaker 2: whatever ever launch an attack on Carg Island. So we'll
- 36:51Speaker 2: see what happens, but expect something big to happen in
- 36:54Speaker 2: a couple of weeks. And again, if you watch the
- 36:57Speaker 2: fake news, if you watch the Sunday shows, if you
- 37:00Speaker 2: watch the Network News, if you read the New York Times,
- 37:02Speaker 2: the New York Push, you can get totally misled about everything.
- 37:06Speaker 2: And a classic example, and people who've gotten pretty used
- 37:10Speaker 2: to fake news, they were even a little stunned at this.
- 37:13Speaker 2: The New York Times did a piece trying to attack
- 37:16Speaker 2: the ballroom that President Trump is building at the White House,
- 37:21Speaker 2: so that if you look at the headline. If you're
- 37:23Speaker 2: a crazy left winger, if you're a no King's nose
- 37:27Speaker 2: ring kind of and you're looking at this New York Times,
- 37:30Speaker 2: it looks like a panel of the greatest experts have
- 37:34Speaker 2: looked at this ballroom plan of Trump's and said that
- 37:37Speaker 2: it's absolutely crazy. It's absolutely crazy. It's the worst planning.
- 37:44Speaker 2: Everything is wrong, it's disastrous what he's planning for this ballroom.
- 37:47Speaker 2: This panel of the top architects of the world, Well,
- 37:52Speaker 2: that's pretty bad. And now you know, when the left
- 37:55Speaker 2: wing cooks read this stuff, they go around and tell everybody,
- 37:58Speaker 2: and as they tell it, it gets embellished and embellished. It's
- 38:01Speaker 2: the greatest architects in the world. They said, the ballroom
- 38:04Speaker 2: design is total Well, none of this is true. Absolutely
- 38:08Speaker 2: none of this is true. In fact, even people in
- 38:09Speaker 2: the media starting to analyze this story are a little
- 38:12Speaker 2: shocked because who did the New York Times ask? Because remember,
- 38:17Speaker 2: Trump has built these ballrooms. He's built the thirty of them,
- 38:21Speaker 2: He's built them at Mar A Lago, He's built them
- 38:22Speaker 2: at the Trump International Hotel and the Spectacular ballrooms. He
- 38:27Speaker 2: is probably the single biggest expert in America on how
- 38:30Speaker 2: to build a ballroom, and he's got a team of
- 38:33Speaker 2: architects and guys that have done these ballrooms all over
- 38:35Speaker 2: the world. So who the hell did they ask? Well,
- 38:39Speaker 2: people start to deconstruct this panel that they put together,
- 38:42Speaker 2: and it turns out nobody on the panel has any
- 38:45Speaker 2: experience or any qualifications to be discussing this. So well,
- 38:49Speaker 2: a couple of them served on urban planning commissions. Every
- 38:53Speaker 2: city has an urban planning commission, which really is just
- 38:56Speaker 2: planning on where to put streets or something like that,
- 38:59Speaker 2: and it's generally it's like the board at the co op.
- 39:02Speaker 2: It's made up of amateurs who don't know what the
- 39:04Speaker 2: hell they're doing, and it's a people that got some
- 39:06Speaker 2: sort of political appointment. But a guy that was on
- 39:09Speaker 2: an urban planning commission has no qualification to discuss architecture
- 39:14Speaker 2: of ballrooms. There's a couple of people on there that
- 39:18Speaker 2: are professors of fine arts. What it's somebody who looks
- 39:24Speaker 2: at paintings in a museum. So nobody on this commission,
- 39:27Speaker 2: this committee, this panel of the New yorktims, had any
- 39:30Speaker 2: qualifications of any kind. And it turns out the architects
- 39:34Speaker 2: Trump is using, the teams that Trump is using have
- 39:37Speaker 2: built the most spectacular ballrooms all over the world. They
- 39:41Speaker 2: build these ballrooms left and right. They know exactly what
- 39:45Speaker 2: they're doing. It's just an example how fake news can
- 39:49Speaker 2: completely conn you. They'll put together a fake panel of
- 39:53Speaker 2: fake experts and give you all these fake conclusions that
- 39:56Speaker 2: don't mean a thing. Hey, I love following things in
- 40:01Speaker 2: the White House. There's a new app you should get
- 40:03Speaker 2: app the white You know, we get these The White
- 40:06Speaker 2: House mails out this stuff every night. They send the
- 40:09Speaker 2: president's schedule for the next day. You know, when the
- 40:12Speaker 2: president does something, announce it something, they send out a
- 40:15Speaker 2: detailed breakdown of what it is. But if you want
- 40:18Speaker 2: to get this stuff now you can. The White House
- 40:21Speaker 2: just launched a new official app. It's a mobile app
- 40:25Speaker 2: you can put on your phone. Just go on the
- 40:27Speaker 2: app store and look for the White House App. It'll
- 40:30Speaker 2: give you all the breaking news alerts, it'll give you
- 40:32Speaker 2: all the executive actions, it'll give you all the detailed stuff.
- 40:36Speaker 2: The White House Official App downloaded. It's great and you
- 40:40Speaker 2: can stay connected. You'll get breaking news alerts, you'll get
- 40:43Speaker 2: all kinds of details and what the president's doing. The
- 40:46Speaker 2: White House Official App you can even send in ideas, suggestions,
- 40:51Speaker 2: whatever you want. Hey, that JFK Junior miniseries has really
- 40:55Speaker 2: taken the country by storm. It's just the most popular series.
- 41:00Speaker 2: It's on Hulu and everybody's talking about it, and women
- 41:04Speaker 2: all over the country are going crazy over this show
- 41:08Speaker 2: because when you watch it, it's JFK Junior. And in
- 41:12Speaker 2: the show, he is the most handsome guy you've ever seen.
- 41:18Speaker 2: He's the sweetest guy. He's a sensitive guy, he's kind
- 41:21Speaker 2: of shy, and he's in love with this Carolyne Bessett.
- 41:24Speaker 2: And it shows their courtship, their relationship, their marriage, and
- 41:29Speaker 2: it's a lot of women all of the country's going
- 41:33Speaker 2: crazy for this guy. And it's really well done. I
- 41:37Speaker 2: mean the sets, the scenery, the back I mean, they've
- 41:40Speaker 2: really captured the nineties, you know, and he walks down
- 41:42Speaker 2: the street in the show, every car behind him is
- 41:44Speaker 2: from the nineties. They use the actual locations, the actual restaurants.
- 41:49Speaker 2: They've really they've duplicated his apartment, his mother's apartment, and
- 41:53Speaker 2: it's really well acted. It's and most incredible. It's called
- 41:58Speaker 2: love Story. It's the most incredible fantasy you've ever seen.
- 42:01Speaker 2: And women have just loved this guy. But I knew
- 42:06Speaker 2: the guy. I was around for all that, and he
- 42:09Speaker 2: was a great guy. But this is not him that
- 42:11Speaker 2: you're seeing in the series, but leaving out a lot
- 42:14Speaker 2: of stuff, a lot of stuff. And I've noticed there's
- 42:17Speaker 2: some women online who knew him also who are now
- 42:20Speaker 2: speaking out about it. So I think it's kind of
- 42:23Speaker 2: important to get the truth out. He was a great guy.
- 42:25Speaker 2: He was the best looking guy he was but and
- 42:30Speaker 2: they didn't get this across in the show. He was
- 42:32Speaker 2: the biggest womanizer you've ever seen. He was unbelievable. Now,
- 42:36Speaker 2: I know a lot of guys who were the greatest womanizers,
- 42:39Speaker 2: pick up artists, they were phenomenal, but JFK. Jr. Had
- 42:44Speaker 2: something going from that they didn't have going for them. JFK.
- 42:46Speaker 2: Junior was the greatest looking guy on earth. He was
- 42:49Speaker 2: the most famous guy on earth. Imagine the possibilities there,
- 42:53Speaker 2: and he took full advantage. He was sleeping with anybody
- 42:55Speaker 2: and everybody. He was the real what they call a
- 42:59Speaker 2: hit and quit it kind of a guy. And if
- 43:03Speaker 2: you didn't want to sleep with him, that was it.
- 43:05Speaker 2: You were cut off instantly, never spoke to you again. Brooks.
- 43:09Speaker 2: Shields tells the story and she told it publicly about
- 43:13Speaker 2: when she was very young at the time, still a virgin.
- 43:15Speaker 2: She met him, fell in love with him instantly. The
- 43:18Speaker 2: first date, they're making out, they're kissing. He wants to
- 43:20Speaker 2: sleep with her, She said no, she'd like to wait.
- 43:23Speaker 2: He rushes her out of the apartment, just get throws
- 43:26Speaker 2: her out, doesn't even get her a cab. The next
- 43:28Speaker 2: day she sees him, he won't even talk to I mean,
- 43:33Speaker 2: he was an incredible womanizer. I mean in numbers you
- 43:37Speaker 2: won't believe. So that was part of the real him.
- 43:40Speaker 2: The other thing, he was not the brightest guy in
- 43:44Speaker 2: the world. I'm not saying he was dumb, but he
- 43:47Speaker 2: was not a smart guy. He was not the smartest guy.
- 43:52Speaker 2: And I remember he flunked the bar. Well, that happens,
- 43:54Speaker 2: a lot of people flunk the bar. Remember he went
- 43:56Speaker 2: back and took it again, and he flunked, And he
- 44:01Speaker 2: did go take it a third time, but his mother
- 44:03Speaker 2: made some arrangements, some arrangements for him to take the
- 44:07Speaker 2: bar a little easier way, and then he passed. But
- 44:10Speaker 2: and the third thing about him, you got to know,
- 44:12Speaker 2: and this is the most crucial, he was incredibly reckless
- 44:16Speaker 2: and careless with himself with his own life and with
- 44:20Speaker 2: everybody else's life. And that's how he died in a reckless,
- 44:28Speaker 2: careless way, and that's how he killed his wife and
- 44:30Speaker 2: her sister. And there's some people that believe had he
- 44:33Speaker 2: not died, that he would have gone to trial. He
- 44:36Speaker 2: could even have ended up in jail for manslaughter. He
- 44:40Speaker 2: was incredibly reckless, incredibly careless, and I saw it all
- 44:44Speaker 2: the time I knew him, just daredevil, reckless. It's something
- 44:49Speaker 2: that infected the whole Kennedy family. They were always taking
- 44:52Speaker 2: ridiculous risks and chances, whether it was sports or whatever
- 44:56Speaker 2: it was. So that plane crash was entirely his fault. Remember,
- 45:01Speaker 2: the National National Transportation Safety Board did their report concluded
- 45:06Speaker 2: it was total pilot error and complete recklessness. He had
- 45:09Speaker 2: no business, no business flying that plane. He was a
- 45:13Speaker 2: total novice. He was not qualified to fly that flight,
- 45:18Speaker 2: and he was not certified to fly in low visibility,
- 45:23Speaker 2: but he did it anyway. That flight was the most
- 45:26Speaker 2: reckless thing ever. He also had a broken foot. He
- 45:29Speaker 2: had broken his foot, and that meant he wasn't able
- 45:32Speaker 2: to even properly fly the plane. He couldn't use the
- 45:35Speaker 2: foot pedals because of that foot. He wasn't qualified to
- 45:39Speaker 2: fly just on instruments. He wasn't qualified or certified to
- 45:44Speaker 2: fly in low visibility. During that flight, even before he crashed,
- 45:48Speaker 2: he got totally off course. He flew up into the
- 45:51Speaker 2: path of an American Airlines jet, could have caused the
- 45:54Speaker 2: crash of that American Airlines plane accidentally went into their
- 45:58Speaker 2: flight path. And again, if he had not died, he
- 46:02Speaker 2: probably would have gotten charge with manslaughter. Now all this
- 46:05Speaker 2: stuff I'm telling you, and the National Transportation Safety Board review.
- 46:10Speaker 2: The wife's family used that and sued the Kennedy family
- 46:15Speaker 2: for wrongful death and did get a I think it
- 46:17Speaker 2: was a twenty million dollar payoff to end that lawsuit.
- 46:21Speaker 2: So none of that is really brought out in this show,
- 46:28Speaker 2: but it's important. It's important to know. Hey, you know,
- 46:32Speaker 2: for all the fake news, it's fascinating once in a while,
- 46:37Speaker 2: once in a while, those Sunday shows, there's nothing more
- 46:39Speaker 2: corrupt than the ABC Sunday Show or Meet the Press,
- 46:42Speaker 2: But once in a while they'll actually get honest. I
- 46:46Speaker 2: don't know why, I have no idea. Once in a
- 46:50Speaker 2: while they'll get a little honest. So they had the
- 46:54Speaker 2: Democratic Senator on he's yelling and screaming about the shutdown,
- 46:57Speaker 2: and they're asking him, why are you doing this? Well, Ice,
- 47:02Speaker 2: we can't fund ICE and we can't fund any And
- 47:04Speaker 2: Johnathan Carl actually pointed out to him ICE has already
- 47:06Speaker 2: funded in a previous bill. They got seventy billion. They're
- 47:10Speaker 2: funded for a long time. It has nothing to do
- 47:12Speaker 2: with this shutdown. Wasn't well in fact, ICE in any way.
- 47:15Speaker 2: So why just screw up the whole airport world for
- 47:19Speaker 2: no reason and fighting over that additional ten billion dollars.
- 47:21Speaker 2: You're holding up the rest of department. We're not holding
- 47:24Speaker 2: it up. I mean, you know you're saying, you know, John,
- 47:27Speaker 2: we're not holding it up. We have now voted ten twice.
- 47:30Speaker 2: But you're holding up unless it doesn't include money for ICE.
- 47:33Speaker 2: That's just a fact. Yes, the Democrat is stunned. What
- 47:38Speaker 2: the hell's going on here? They're actually asking me real questions. Unbelievable. So, Mom,
- 47:42Speaker 2: Donnie is all upset about ICE.
- 47:45Speaker 6: I have made clear to the President, both in our
- 47:48Speaker 6: private conversations and our public conversations, about the fact that
- 47:51Speaker 6: I believe that ICE is a rogue agency. It's a
- 47:54Speaker 6: reckless one. It's one that delivers nothing towards the furthering
- 47:56Speaker 6: of the cause of public safety. And I've also been
- 47:58Speaker 6: public about my belief that ICE is an entity that
- 48:01Speaker 6: should be abolished.
- 48:02Speaker 2: It's an agency that's been there forever. It's been around forever.
- 48:06Speaker 2: Obama used ICE to deport millions of people. Yeah, Obama
- 48:11Speaker 2: used ICE to deport, grab and deport millions of people.
- 48:14Speaker 2: You know who Obama had running ICE, Tom Homan. It
- 48:18Speaker 2: was the same exact thing. It's just Trump derangement syndrome.
- 48:21Speaker 2: And here's Homan.
- 48:22Speaker 13: The same laws are in place today that were in
- 48:25Speaker 13: place under Obama, that were in place under Joe Biden.
- 48:29Speaker 13: The laws haven't changed. The difference is we were allowing
- 48:33Speaker 13: them force laws under those presents. But guess what, President
- 48:36Speaker 13: Trunk's backing the Odal Office. We're not making it up.
- 48:38Speaker 13: We're in't force some law. You don't like it, change
- 48:41Speaker 13: the law.
- 48:41Speaker 2: Trump de arrangement syndrome. It's a big, big problem. But hey,
- 48:46Speaker 2: we'll take some calls in a minute. Eight hundred three
- 48:48Speaker 2: to two one zero seven ten is the number. Eight
- 48:51Speaker 2: hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 48:55Speaker 12: Mister New York Mama, Mark Simon seven ten. Wo off, Hey,
- 49:01Speaker 12: let's take some calls. Eight hundred three to two one
- 49:04Speaker 12: zero seven ten is the number. Let's go to Charlie
- 49:07Speaker 12: in Oregon. Charlie, how you doing good yourself?
- 49:10Speaker 4: Hey, thanks for taking my call.
- 49:13Speaker 2: Uh, you're not one of those crazy left wing Oregon types,
- 49:15Speaker 2: are you?
- 49:17Speaker 4: I am not good. I'm a crue blue Trump supporter.
- 49:22Speaker 2: Very good.
- 49:23Speaker 4: The reason I called is I'd like it to be
- 49:25Speaker 4: pointed out that the two people that were killed in Minneapolis, Yeah,
- 49:30Speaker 4: we're breaking the law at the time.
- 49:32Speaker 2: Well we know that.
- 49:33Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't think people understand that. Well, if you
- 49:38Speaker 4: figure the Democrats don't if.
- 49:39Speaker 2: You figured it out, I think we all figured it out.
- 49:41Speaker 2: But good fun. Hey, what do you doing? What do
- 49:45Speaker 2: you do in Oregon? Charlie?
- 49:47Speaker 4: I'm retired.
- 49:48Speaker 2: Well it's good and no wonder you're in your pajamas
- 49:50Speaker 2: at eleven thirty.
- 49:51Speaker 4: That's well, it's only it's only nine thirty here.
- 49:56Speaker 2: Oh, that's right, that's right. I'm sorry. All right, Well,
- 49:58Speaker 2: good call Charlie. Call us again. Yeah, Bruce is Uh.
- 50:02Speaker 2: He was at the No King's rally in Minnesota promoting
- 50:05Speaker 2: that sad song. Listen to him singing. Listen to what
- 50:08Speaker 2: he sounds like. Now it sounds like Joe Biden singing.
- 50:10Speaker 2: Let me see if I can get the exact number.
- 50:13Speaker 2: That's two. Both were trying to assault ice at the time.
- 50:17Speaker 2: One was trying to run over the ice ation with
- 50:19Speaker 2: air car and another one was kicking and smashing the
- 50:22Speaker 2: ice car. And they were both in violent attacks on
- 50:27Speaker 2: ice when they were killed. Let's go to Chris west Hampton. Chris,
- 50:31Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 50:34Speaker 4: Listen about ilhan Omar and you know the guy that
- 50:38Speaker 4: ran for president, whoever his name was.
- 50:40Speaker 7: It has the investigation on that stopped.
- 50:43Speaker 10: No, like this fraud. I mean she.
- 50:45Speaker 4: Masked her brother.
- 50:47Speaker 2: He won't take no for an answer.
- 50:49Speaker 4: No, I'm taking them for an answer.
- 50:50Speaker 12: But but November is coming, and if they don't do
- 50:53Speaker 12: something before November and we lose the the election of November.
- 50:56Speaker 2: Nothing, You'll be fine in November. And it has nothing
- 50:59Speaker 2: to do with Elon Orlme. But the investigation is continuing.
- 51:02Speaker 2: Don't worry. I know you always like to worry. You're
- 51:05Speaker 2: the chief. You're a Panican, a panic as Panics. Let's
- 51:09Speaker 2: go to Joel in Florida. Joel, how you doing.
- 51:13Speaker 14: Good morning, Mark. I hope you had a good weekend.
- 51:15Speaker 14: Question I have if mister Blakeman can unseek the miss
- 51:20Speaker 14: Hokal for the governorship November. Do you see any possibility
- 51:25Speaker 14: that he himself can divest New York City, mister Mondamie.
- 51:29Speaker 2: That's possible. He can remove the mayor, although that may
- 51:31Speaker 2: not be necessary. He can do enough checks and balances
- 51:34Speaker 2: to keep mom donning tech. But the most important thing
- 51:36Speaker 2: is Blakeman would be a great governor. Everybody should donate.
- 51:40Speaker 2: Volunteer Blakemanfromnew York dot com Bruce Blakeman. The most important
- 51:44Speaker 2: thing he can do right away is remove Alvin Bragg.
- 51:47Speaker 2: That's the crazy district attorney who lets all the criminals
- 51:50Speaker 2: run loose and won't put him in jail. The district
- 51:52Speaker 2: attorney is a state job. The governor can remove the
- 51:56Speaker 2: district attorney and put in a real district attorney that
- 51:58Speaker 2: goes after criminals. It happened in Florida. There was one
- 52:02Speaker 2: of those crazy Alvin Bragg, you know, George Soros type
- 52:05Speaker 2: Das DeSantis removed him, just removed him from office. Put
- 52:08Speaker 2: in a real DA. DA's work for the governor. It's
- 52:11Speaker 2: a state job. One reason, another reason to vote for
- 52:14Speaker 2: Bruce Blakeman. Let's go to rich and Myrtle beach rich
- 52:17Speaker 2: How you doing?
- 52:18Speaker 10: Hey, thanks Mark. More more people have been killed by
- 52:21Speaker 10: trans people than by ice agents.
- 52:23Speaker 2: That's a fact, that's true.
- 52:24Speaker 10: Hey, is this a Trump derangement syndrome? Going to carry
- 52:26Speaker 10: on to vanced arrangement syndrome and rubio derangement system? Is
- 52:30Speaker 10: this a new thing against Republica's no, no.
- 52:32Speaker 2: No, it's actually you know, it was originally called Bush
- 52:34Speaker 2: derangement syndrome. It happened in the early two thousand.
- 52:37Speaker 10: I don't remember that, okay, Yeah, that's where.
- 52:38Speaker 2: It came from. And you know who came up with it.
- 52:41Speaker 2: Back then, they always called it bush derangement syndrome. It
- 52:43Speaker 2: was Charles Heimer that came up with it. Charles Crowdham.
- 52:47Speaker 2: Oh wow, it was. Yeah. If you go back to
- 52:50Speaker 2: the two thousands and google bush derangement syndrome, it was
- 52:53Speaker 2: a big thing back then. Hey, aren't you an expert
- 52:55Speaker 2: on fishing?
- 52:56Speaker 10: Yes?
- 52:57Speaker 4: I am.
- 52:57Speaker 2: Okay, that story about in Florida they caught five hundred
- 53:00Speaker 2: pound fish.
- 53:02Speaker 10: How would you even I don't see what kind of fish?
- 53:05Speaker 10: Was it?
- 53:05Speaker 2: Swordfish?
- 53:07Speaker 10: A sword fish?
- 53:08Speaker 4: Sure?
- 53:08Speaker 10: That's delicious, baby, Yeah.
- 53:10Speaker 4: How do you get.
- 53:12Speaker 2: A five hundred pound thing out of the boat. It's
- 53:14Speaker 2: like it's heavier than the couch. How do you take
- 53:17Speaker 2: that out of your boat?
- 53:18Speaker 10: Well, most of these guys that are doing sword fishing
- 53:21Speaker 10: usually have block and tackle, which is another word for
- 53:24Speaker 10: a pulley and block system, and they winch it into
- 53:26Speaker 10: the boat with three or four guys. And once they
- 53:28Speaker 10: get the tail or the head, whichever they are winching
- 53:32Speaker 10: up on the side of the boat, whichever gets into
- 53:34Speaker 10: the side of the boat, then the whole thing just
- 53:35Speaker 10: slides in the boat. You just got to get the
- 53:36Speaker 10: first third.
- 53:37Speaker 2: How do you get it out of the boat.
- 53:40Speaker 4: What's that?
- 53:40Speaker 2: How do you get it out of the boat? It's
- 53:41Speaker 2: five hundred pounds.
- 53:44Speaker 10: Well, when you get to the dock, they have the
- 53:46Speaker 10: same thing. It's like if you ever watch those guys
- 53:47Speaker 10: in Wicked Tuna when they bring those big, you know,
- 53:50Speaker 10: eight hundred, nine hundred pound tuna to the docks. They
- 53:52Speaker 10: got the fish market there, the fish manga we call them.
- 53:55Speaker 10: And Vincent knows what I'm talking about. Is they use
- 53:58Speaker 10: a block and tackle system with a big winch has
- 54:00Speaker 10: a scale on the winch. So when they pulled this
- 54:02Speaker 10: thing up off the boat and they're still hanging their
- 54:04Speaker 10: way in the fish, and by the time you get
- 54:06Speaker 10: the head off and stuff, you lose about a third
- 54:07Speaker 10: of the weight. But that's how you get them on
- 54:09Speaker 10: the boat with pulleys, which I guess the Egyptians that
- 54:12Speaker 10: the Chinese invented that, and the same thing at the dock.
- 54:14Speaker 10: They just put a tail rope around the tail of
- 54:16Speaker 10: the big fish and he used a big winch in
- 54:18Speaker 10: a big pulley system the motorized at the dock to
- 54:22Speaker 10: pull it up. They weigh it, they lay it right.
- 54:25Speaker 2: I could walk right over there, three four blocks. There's
- 54:27Speaker 2: a whole foods. I could get twelve different kinds of swordfish.
- 54:30Speaker 10: All cut up and yeah, but at this time a
- 54:33Speaker 10: year mark a lot like Rhyme and motor beach. A
- 54:35Speaker 10: lot of the swordfish isn't local yet. It's Peruvian, a
- 54:38Speaker 10: South American, and the Caribbean swordfish, although some's coming from
- 54:41Speaker 10: Florida now. It isn't until you get into July and
- 54:44Speaker 10: August that you start getting local swordfish up there.
- 54:46Speaker 2: Oh okay, well, an interesting answer. I didn't know that
- 54:49Speaker 2: it was. I didn't really got all these cranes and
- 54:52Speaker 2: winches and pulleys and sounds pretty pretty good. Thanks for Colling.
- 54:55Speaker 2: Let's go to Mike and Saint James. Mike, how you.
- 54:58Speaker 4: Doing far more?
- 54:59Speaker 2: Thank you?
- 55:00Speaker 8: Two quick ones.
- 55:01Speaker 4: Did Timas approved the renovation of the White House?
- 55:04Speaker 2: Well, there's a they don't have to approve it. There's
- 55:07Speaker 2: a couple of landmark commission, planning commissions, some sort of
- 55:10Speaker 2: Washington DC commission. They got to approve it. But Trump
- 55:12Speaker 2: can just go build it anyway. The only problem is
- 55:14Speaker 2: if one of those crazy left wing judges put some
- 55:17Speaker 2: kind of block on it. That's the only thing they're
- 55:19Speaker 2: worried about.
- 55:20Speaker 4: Yeah, and the other question is the Strait of Hormo's
- 55:24Speaker 4: international water.
- 55:26Speaker 2: No, I don't think so. No. Now, another thing I
- 55:31Speaker 2: was watching on these Sunday shows, they said, the Straits
- 55:34Speaker 2: of Hormoose is closed. Why didn't the president anticipate this?
- 55:37Speaker 2: What kind of planning was this that they didn't anticipate?
- 55:39Speaker 2: Why didn't they anticipate? Of course they anticipated every single
- 55:44Speaker 2: time there's a war there, they closed the Strait of Hormose.
- 55:46Speaker 2: Happened during the Gulf War, happened during the Iraq War,
- 55:49Speaker 2: happened during the Tanker War, happened during the Iraq Iran War.
- 55:52Speaker 2: They always closed the strait of horm moose. Why do
- 55:56Speaker 2: we not care because we don't get any oil. The
- 55:59Speaker 2: United States doesn't get oil from the Straits Hormos. It's
- 56:02Speaker 2: the oil that goes to China, India. So it's not
- 56:04Speaker 2: our problem. Hey, when we come back to great Steve Sharippa,
- 56:08Speaker 2: we'll be with us next on seven to ten.
- 56:12Speaker 1: Give w R O Bri said on the iHeartRadio app
- 56:16Speaker 1: to hear Mark Simone and all the w R hosts
- 56:19Speaker 1: in an instead. Now back to the Mark Simon show
- 56:23Speaker 1: on wo.
- 56:24Speaker 2: Or Well, we're trying Steve Sharipa. Hang on, let me
- 56:34Speaker 2: send you another number here. Hey, I just sent you
- 56:38Speaker 2: a different number. Trying with this number, trying with that number. Okay, Yeah,
- 56:44Speaker 2: we'll try it with that number and he'll pick up.
- 56:47Speaker 2: Just texted him. So, yeah, Steve Sharippa, the great actor,
- 56:51Speaker 2: comedian and you know he's been become quite the big
- 56:54Speaker 2: mc IF. Some of the best shows. There was one
- 56:58Speaker 2: on Saturday at Madison Square Garden. It's a big benefit
- 57:03Speaker 2: for the police. It's a wonderful event, gratitude for the police.
- 57:08Speaker 2: And he did that one. Did you get him on
- 57:10Speaker 2: that number? Nope, that's very strange. Oh, let me find
- 57:20Speaker 2: another number for him. Sorry about this, just talk. Oh
- 57:23Speaker 2: we got him. We got him anyway. But it was
- 57:25Speaker 2: a great benefit Saturday night, Madison Square Garden. It was
- 57:30Speaker 2: thank you NYPD. It's a wonderful cause and Steve Sharippa
- 57:33Speaker 2: did a great job. Now he's gonna be hosting and
- 57:35Speaker 2: this you want to go to It's garden laughs. It's
- 57:38Speaker 2: a big show, all star comedy show, great comedians. Two
- 57:42Speaker 2: weeks from tonight, Radio City Music Hall, April thirteenth, all
- 57:46Speaker 2: for a great cause. They raised millions for the Steve
- 57:48Speaker 2: Sharippa will be the MC but you'll love it. Go
- 57:51Speaker 2: to ticketmaster dot com and get the tickets. And he's
- 57:54Speaker 2: with us right now. Steve Sharippa, how you doing?
- 57:57Speaker 4: What's up my friend? I haven't seen it a long time?
- 58:00Speaker 2: Yeah, where are you been?
- 58:03Speaker 4: I'm around. I was pouring. We went and told me
- 58:07Speaker 4: and Michael imperially to the UK doing our soprano show,
- 58:11Speaker 4: talking Sopranos. And we did fourteen shows in ten cities, wow,
- 58:16Speaker 4: and seventeen days. So that was not easy. But we
- 58:20Speaker 4: drew mark about twenty seven thousand people and it was crazy.
- 58:26Speaker 4: It was really crazy, and they are crazy soprano fans.
- 58:31Speaker 4: Nineteen years after the show went off the air and
- 58:34Speaker 4: it's still as popular as ever. So that's kind of
- 58:39Speaker 4: where I've been preparing for that. And then we did that,
- 58:41Speaker 4: and then I'm around listen, you know, we got the
- 58:46Speaker 4: big show coming the Garden Lass and then there was
- 58:48Speaker 4: a great thing Saturday Night that Jim Dole and the
- 58:52Speaker 4: Garden did. Because not everyone and I won't mention names,
- 58:56Speaker 4: appreciates the NYPD.
- 58:59Speaker 2: Like they it.
- 59:00Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, I think it was that Jack Assteblasio started
- 59:04Speaker 4: that crap. But uh, they did something nice for the NYPD,
- 59:08Speaker 4: and I was very happy to be a part of it.
- 59:11Speaker 4: I think it just was wonderful, you know. So we
- 59:14Speaker 4: gotta say thank you to those guys. You gotta say
- 59:17Speaker 4: thank you to the NYPD, not the ticket agents. Don't
- 59:21Speaker 4: say thank you to then you give me the tickets.
- 59:24Speaker 2: That's a different group. So now you I did I
- 59:26Speaker 2: see you. I didn't see you in the No King's rally.
- 59:29Speaker 2: Just to get that straight. I'm kidding.
- 59:31Speaker 4: I'm kidding, no, no, no, no, I'm in Rhode Island.
- 59:35Speaker 2: I'm in Rhode Island.
- 59:35Speaker 4: Okay, I'm just time. You know, politics isn't my thing.
- 59:40Speaker 2: You know that no, but hey, Rhode Island, they must
- 59:44Speaker 2: go crazy when they see you there.
- 59:47Speaker 4: Uh you know, you know, I bought a house up
- 59:49Speaker 4: here and it's it's it's very nice, nice beach town.
- 59:53Speaker 4: So I just came up here. It's starting to throw out.
- 59:55Speaker 4: I mean, we had gotten three and a half feet
- 59:58Speaker 4: of snow. So you know, the Nicks. You're doing well, Connecticut.
- 1:00:03Speaker 4: I was happy they won because I don't like Duke.
- 1:00:06Speaker 4: So a lot of things going on. And I got
- 1:00:09Speaker 4: my book coming out. Oh no, I got my kids
- 1:00:12Speaker 4: book coming out. Doing a lot of book signings Willie
- 1:00:14Speaker 4: Boy each the world. It'll be in stores April twenty
- 1:00:18Speaker 4: first the pre order it on Amazon. But I'm doing
- 1:00:21Speaker 4: a bunch of signings huntingdon Long Island and New Jersey.
- 1:00:25Speaker 4: Bookends a great bookstore, doing Brooklyn Bay Ridge, and I'm
- 1:00:33Speaker 4: doing the Strand in Manhattan. Michael Imperiolies moderating and very good.
- 1:00:38Speaker 4: It's gonna be good. It's my beloved dog, you know
- 1:00:41Speaker 4: about Willy Boy.
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: Yeah, everybody else everywhere. Make sure you follow Steve Shrip
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: on Instagram and then you can see Willie Boy in action.
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: Great stuff you put up there on Instagram.
- 1:00:50Speaker 4: And yeah, so otherwise, Uh, that's good. Last time I
- 1:00:54Speaker 4: saw you, we were at Fresco.
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: That's right, Fresco the Great.
- 1:00:58Speaker 4: I ran into your Fresco. Always good, Rosanna, Always good
- 1:01:01Speaker 4: to see Rosanna. Go to Tian Food. Is that one
- 1:01:04Speaker 4: of your spots? Yeah?
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: I love Fresco. Hey, now you know my favorite app
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: is Pluto TV. You put Pluto on your phone. It's
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: got a million channels and there's a blue Bloods channel.
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: It's just Blue Bloods twenty four hours a day. And
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: I could just sit there and watch that all day.
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: But if it's the first five seasons, it's not the
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: same because you're not in them. So you really really.
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: And uh uh yeah, but you know it was. It
- 1:01:30Speaker 4: was a great run blue Bloods. I absolutely love doing it.
- 1:01:34Speaker 4: And uh, I don't know why no one. The big
- 1:01:37Speaker 4: question mark is why it was canceled. I know, as
- 1:01:41Speaker 4: million viewers every week, it was money.
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: They just didn't want to spend the money anymore for
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: the You know, it's because if they weren't giving it
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: to me. But you know, if you if you watch
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: Boston Blue, and it's a fine show, but you could
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: tell the writers were told keep it inexpensive. There's no
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: card chair. It's always a foot chase. Oh really, Yeah,
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: there's no car chases.
- 1:02:03Speaker 4: You know, Boston Blue. I don't think there's anyone besides Donnie.
- 1:02:08Speaker 4: I mean there's no writers or producers from Blue Bloods.
- 1:02:11Speaker 4: I mean it's completely different, you know. And Donnie always
- 1:02:14Speaker 4: does a good job. And I think Lynn Carry You.
- 1:02:17Speaker 4: I see his guest star at Who's Yeah right, Lenn
- 1:02:20Speaker 4: Carry You is just incredible, incredible performer, singer, wonderful guy.
- 1:02:25Speaker 4: You know.
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: Yeah, it was a big Broadway start. Now I love
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: Blue Bloods. He was great in the show. But in
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: real life he's like the same age as Tom Selleck.
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: How could he be his father?
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: No, he's five years old. He's five years older. Well, listen,
- 1:02:40Speaker 4: he moves a little slower. But he's on this show
- 1:02:43Speaker 4: with Kevin Klein. Have you seen the show. It's on MG.
- 1:02:46Speaker 4: It's on MG and plus. I'll tell you what. I
- 1:02:49Speaker 4: like it a lot American classic. It's called and Lenn
- 1:02:53Speaker 4: is great in it. He plays Kevin Klein's father. Yeah,
- 1:02:57Speaker 4: so I don't know how old is he there? Listen,
- 1:03:00Speaker 4: it's hard to get Tom Sellers eighty one. What are
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: you gonna get a guy one hundred? And two to
- 1:03:05Speaker 4: play his father. So what do you what are you
- 1:03:09Speaker 4: gonna do? You gotta, you know, age appropriate. You know,
- 1:03:13Speaker 4: you're trying to make it look you know, move a
- 1:03:15Speaker 4: little slower, try to make him look like his father.
- 1:03:19Speaker 4: I believed him as his dad, didn't you.
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: Oh yeah, absolutely no, everybody in the show expectator. Hey,
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: I'm the one that binge watches it every day, every
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: single day.
- 1:03:26Speaker 4: And you wonder if you're you're probably get no residuals
- 1:03:30Speaker 4: from Pluto TV.
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: I'm sure no, I don't think so.
- 1:03:33Speaker 4: I'm sure another screw the actor again. There you go. So,
- 1:03:39Speaker 4: I mean, I don't know, you know, like you said,
- 1:03:41Speaker 4: it's got the first five seasons. Still got a lot
- 1:03:43Speaker 4: of fans out there. Hey, it's got to like the Sopranos.
- 1:03:46Speaker 4: You know, it's got its.
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: Own twenty four hour day channel. It must be. It
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: must be doing well. But for a guy to get
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: into a hit series that's going to run ten years
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: or whatever, that's the greatest thing ever happened. How many
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: people have had two? You're in a very soll listen.
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: I had three. I had three.
- 1:04:01Speaker 4: I had one with Molly Ringwall's Secret Life five years,
- 1:04:05Speaker 4: one hundred and ten episodes. Yeah, and then last year
- 1:04:08Speaker 4: I did a couple of Hallmark movies which I liked
- 1:04:10Speaker 4: a lot. I did the Christmas movie Dream Come True.
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: It was a holiday touchdown, the Buffalo Bills. I did
- 1:04:19Speaker 4: another one's Sisterhood, inc. I did a few Decksters. I'm
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: doing doing kind of what I.
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: Want to do.
- 1:04:25Speaker 4: You know, Mark, I'm sixty eight. Some good comes along
- 1:04:29Speaker 4: and do it. If not, I'm okay, all right.
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: You do one of the best podcasts. People can still
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: see that, right with you and Michael imperially.
- 1:04:37Speaker 4: Yeah, you go on YouTube. We still have our podcast
- 1:04:40Speaker 4: up talking Sopranos.
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: I mean the live shows.
- 1:04:43Speaker 4: I don't know where we go from here, because Sister
- 1:04:45Speaker 4: was kind of like the big finale, you know, you know,
- 1:04:48Speaker 4: doing all that traveling and stuff.
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: It was.
- 1:04:51Speaker 4: It was fun but hard. It's kind of now you
- 1:04:53Speaker 4: know certain things you do and then when you look
- 1:04:56Speaker 4: back on him, you go, boy, that was great, you know,
- 1:04:58Speaker 4: but at the time you sol them doing it, not
- 1:05:01Speaker 4: unlike the Sopranos. You know, you're doing that. It's an
- 1:05:04Speaker 4: incredible show, but you're in the thick of it. You're
- 1:05:07Speaker 4: trying not to get killed off. You're worried about all
- 1:05:09Speaker 4: this stuff and then you sit back a few years
- 1:05:12Speaker 4: later you go, man, that was just the best experience
- 1:05:16Speaker 4: of my life that I'll ever have, you know, that
- 1:05:18Speaker 4: kind of thing. So the Garden the Lambs, big show
- 1:05:22Speaker 4: coming up. Jim Dolan, one of the most generous guys,
- 1:05:26Speaker 4: doesn't get credit for it like you should. It's the
- 1:05:29Speaker 4: Garden the Dreams Foundation. We've raised eight point five million
- 1:05:33Speaker 4: dollars in the first four This is my fifth one
- 1:05:36Speaker 4: hosting it. This year they moved it to Radio City
- 1:05:39Speaker 4: John Oliver and you got Andrew Schultz and Zarna garg
- 1:05:45Speaker 4: and some great great comics and a lot of presenters,
- 1:05:48Speaker 4: celebrity and print presenters, John Totorro, Adam Graves. A lot
- 1:05:53Speaker 4: of sports guys and actors are also there. So it's
- 1:05:57Speaker 4: a really good night. If you've never been to the
- 1:05:58Speaker 4: Garden laughs, I'll fifth one. Yeah, So that's that's good.
- 1:06:02Speaker 4: I enjoy that. If all the money stays in the
- 1:06:05Speaker 4: Tri State area, you know.

- 1:06:23Speaker 2: signing in Huntington.
- 1:06:25Speaker 4: I'm doing the book signing in Huntington on April twenty first. Oh, okay,
- 1:06:30Speaker 4: the next chapter it's called April twenty first.
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: Yeah, it's next chapter. It's the guys from books that
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: we're doing.
- 1:06:38Speaker 4: Brooklyn and bay Ridge the book Bookmark Shop, and then

- 1:06:47Speaker 4: some of them have talks. Then Bookends in Northern Jersey,

- 1:06:55Speaker 4: Willy Boy is showing up.
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: Great.

- 1:07:21Speaker 4: and Willie. We had a couple of great pies. Really good.
- 1:07:25Speaker 4: Deniko is my go to. I love our Toros. I
- 1:07:30Speaker 4: went to Pamola. Do you go to Pamola? Is that
- 1:07:33Speaker 4: your one of your spot?
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: That's a good spot.
- 1:07:35Speaker 4: I went to Pamola. I went with Dominic uncle junior,
- 1:07:38Speaker 4: twenty five years old. We had lunch last week. Wow,
- 1:07:42Speaker 4: Little literally Denko still great. Little literally Deniko is the
- 1:07:47Speaker 4: best place down there, all right. You know, if you
- 1:07:50Speaker 4: really want real food and not get ripped off, no
- 1:07:52Speaker 4: tourist stuff. Really good. But if you're in Brooklyn, I
- 1:07:55Speaker 4: love Fermona Gardens, but Luigi's is great.
