- 5 Fantasy Football Trade Targets You NEED Before Week 7: You don't win fantasy football by sitting back and waiting for guys to blow up before you make your move. You've got to be proactive and you've got to go out and get your guys. Today I've got five targets that I'm looking to trade for in all of my fantasy football leagues, so let's get into it. Welcome back to Fat Daddy Sports. I am Craig. If you're new here, drop a like, drop a comment, and let's jump into it. The very first guy that we are looking at today is Josh Jacobs, running back for the Green Bay Packers, fresh off of his suspension. He is back, ready to roll here in week seven. legal things aside, moral things aside, I'm not gonna get into that, but fantasy football wise, he is a running back one for what is a very good offense right now in the Green Bay Packers. He's going to have a ton of opportunities. this one it's gonna be tricky. It's gonna depend on your league, gonna depend on who has him, how they feel about him. I mean, some managers have held on to him for the first six weeks. They don't want to let him go now that he's back. Others may be looking to flip him with the potential of another suspension on the horizon. it's a tricky situation, but put your feelers out there. See if you can get in there and get this guy for cheap or, you know. You you never want to overpay for somebody. You especially don't want to overpay for somebody like this who has a little bit of a murky situation going on. but you look at his stats over the years. I mean, last year running back 13, but he only played 15 of the games. Before that, running back six. He didn't play all of the games when he was there in Las Vegas. But top, you know, top 10 running back at the very least, top 15 running back, he is going to have a ton of opportunities in this Green Bay offense to Just barrel it in from the goal line. Josh Jacobs is going to be a very big difference maker for the Packers. You look at his upcoming schedule. Detroit is an offen or a defense that you can score on Carolina. New England will be a tough match. Minnesota will be a tough match. And then that week eleven bye. But I mean, you look at you look into the playoffs. He's got Miami, Chicago, Houston in the fantasy playoffs. Obviously, Houston's a little bit of a tough defense, but you can definitely score on Buffalo, can score on Miami, can score on Chicago, and you know, up until these last couple weeks, you could score on Houston too. So who knows by the time you get to that point in the season what it'll look like. but Josh Jacobs is a very, very he's a guy on my list that's very high up that I'm trying to acquire in as many leagues as I can if I don't already own him. The next guy that we're talking about is not on a lot of people's list when I see them talking about trade targets. And that's perfect. That's what you want. You don't always want to go after the guy that is always in the headlines and always on everybody's list of trade targets. You want to fly under the radar. You want to be out ahead of these things. And I look at a guy like Derrick Henry, who obviously plays in a very good offense. He scores a ton of touchdowns. He's always a very fantasy friendly running back. but with Lamar Jackson's injury, his numbers have been down just a little bit. this past week, 17 carries, 58 yards. He did add a catch for two yards, but he had a fumble. So he ended up with five points in PPR scoring. That is probably gonna be the worst scoring day that he has all season long. the week before that, he didn't get into the end zone. He did have a hundred yards, but he didn't get into the end zone. And if you are, you know, a Derrick Henry owner, you look at these last couple weeks as maybe a a little bit of a down week. I mean, this first week he had three touchdowns. Those owners were on the on over the moon excited about him and then maybe a little bit of a disappointment these last couple weeks. and really just this Baltimore offense is kind of disappointing right now without Lamar Jackson. The good news is that they should be getting him back maybe even this week. And this offense is about to explode. They just got back their rookie wide receiver Jacoby Lane and Zay Flowers is getting healthier and healthier from his hamstring issue. I think that this offense is going to be very, very lethal down the stretch. And Derrick Henry is going to be a big part of that. If you can go out and get Derrick Henry on the cheap, you know, you can flip a two for one deal for Derrick Henry. I advise that majorly. He's going to have a safe floor and get you those touchdowns. The next guy that we're looking at does not have those touchdowns this year, and that's really the only thing holding him back right now. at the beginning of the year, Drake London was really struggling without a quarterback. You can see five targets, two catches, twenty-nine yards in week one. Four catches, 51 yards in week two. And then Michael Penix comes back and he goes nine for 194 yards in week three against Green Bay. has been a little bit of a a down downward trend since then, but still five for ninety-six, seven for 118. He's coming off a performance against Chicago where he only had four for 62, a modest 12.2 points. But he did have 10 targets. And you look over these last four games with Michael Penix. He's got 10 targets, six targets, 11 targets, 10 targets. I mean, he is getting the targets. He's just not getting the touchdowns yet. That is a perfect player to go after before he blows up. You add a touchdown or two with these numbers, and his numbers are off the charts. he's already a top 15 wide receiver. You can definitely get him on the cheap right now. Go out and get Drake London as your wide receiver one. The next guy we're talking about just got his quarterback back and already had a boom week last week. Eight targets, eight catches, ninety-five yards, no touchdowns, but a modest 17.5 PPR points. he was down a little bit without Caleb Williams in there, but Luther Burden is going to explode as this wide receiver one. He was he was hyped all summer long. A guy that we really wanted to attack and really wanted to go after. And now he gets Caleb Williams back. He is operating as that wide receiver one. You can see here against Atlanta, only played 39% of the snaps, but he still put up 17 and a half fantasy points. Luther Burden's going to be very, very good down the stretch. Go out and get him before he goes off. The final guy that we're talking about coming off his own injury, the high ankle sprain, AJ Brown in New England. Came back in week six, saw 10 targets, only was able to convert that for three catches for 27 yards, 5.7 points. there's a lot of video clips out there right now of him moving kind of slow, and owners of AJ Brown might be a little scared off by that. This is the perfect time to pounce on that one. weakness or that fear of theirs. Go out and get AJ Brown. He's going to be a monster down the stretch. He's going to be a target monster. They don't have a whole lot of competition there for him for targets. in his first game back, he saw 10 targets already. What do you think he's going to do the rest of the season? he is going to be a monster down the stretch. He does have that week 11 bye, but after that he gets the Chargers, Buffalo, Minnesota's a tough matchup. Kansas City you can throw on the Jets and Denver. he's Gonna get a lot of work in this New England offense, and the touchdowns will come with that. Very, very strange that he had seven drops. I think he actually had more than that. but maybe there was a couple callback from penalty. But nonetheless, AJ Brown is not gonna turn in a three catches on 10 targets type of day very often. He's somebody that you need to go out and get. All right, guys, that's all I've got for you today. Let me know down in the comments who are you trying to go after on the trade market.
