- 0:01Speaker 1: Hey, discos, need a little more Disgraceland in your life,
- 0:05Speaker 1: just to touch to get you through. Yeah me too.
- 0:08Speaker 1: This is the podcast that comes after the podcast. Welcome
- 0:12Speaker 1: to Disgraceland, the after Party. Welcome to the Disgraceland bonus episode,
- 0:30Speaker 1: a little thing we like to call the after party.
- 0:33Speaker 1: This is the show after the show, the party after
- 0:35Speaker 1: the party, the bridge to get you from one full
- 0:37Speaker 1: episode of Disgraceland to the other, the backyard to dig
- 0:41Speaker 1: into the dirt. On this bonus episode, we are talking
- 0:45Speaker 1: about this week's subject to the Disgraceland full episode, the Cramps,
- 0:49Speaker 1: and even more shocking Sean Combs allegations, some batshit awesome
- 0:54Speaker 1: Halloween merchandise from Disgraceland, and of course we are diving
- 0:58Speaker 1: into your voicemails, text and more, and as always, a
- 1:01Speaker 1: whole lot of rosie. All Right, discoes, let's get into
- 1:06Speaker 1: it all right. Real rock and roll is supposed to
- 1:18Speaker 1: be dangerous, whether it's the fear of Elvis Presley's swinging
- 1:23Speaker 1: hips that are gonna result in your teenage sister getting pregnant,
- 1:27Speaker 1: or the grimy, dark image of the Rolling Stones. The
- 1:30Speaker 1: anti Beatles at the time asking in newspapers and on billboards.
- 1:34Speaker 1: If you'd let your daughter marry a rolling stone, of
- 1:36Speaker 1: course you wouldn't. Led Zeppelin, the sex Pistols, the Ramones,
- 1:39Speaker 1: black Flag. I can go on and on with well
- 1:42Speaker 1: known example after example of rock stars living and behaving dangerously.
- 1:48Speaker 1: We all know these stories. Led Zeppelin and the Mudshark,
- 1:51Speaker 1: Sid and Nancy and the Chelsea d d Ramone and
- 1:53Speaker 1: the Heroin. We take it all, these stories, of course,
- 1:56Speaker 1: a little bit further here in Disgrace Land. We make
- 1:59Speaker 1: it as as much as we can to be specifically
- 2:03Speaker 1: about crime, true crime. Obviously, Jerry Lee Lewis marrying his
- 2:07Speaker 1: thirteen year old cousin. It's not dangerous enough. So you know,
- 2:11Speaker 1: we talk about the rock and roll pioneer allegedly murdering
- 2:13Speaker 1: his wife because that happened. So you know the drill,
- 2:17Speaker 1: You know all of this. That's why you're here. The
- 2:19Speaker 1: true crime is a part of the danger that is
- 2:22Speaker 1: a part of rock and roll. Okay, the danger is
- 2:25Speaker 1: integral to rock and roll. It's the true crime is
- 2:29Speaker 1: just an unfortunate byproduct of a necessary ingredient that makes
- 2:33Speaker 1: rock and roll so compelling historically speaking, anyway, because right now,
- 2:39Speaker 1: in the now, rock and roll is dead. We know
- 2:42Speaker 1: this in part because there is no danger in today's
- 2:46Speaker 1: rock and roll bands. If you can even find rock
- 2:48Speaker 1: and roll bands today, I'm speaking now specifically about bands
- 2:53Speaker 1: in the mainstream, rock and roll bands in the mainstream.
- 2:55Speaker 1: When I say if you can even find a rock
- 2:57Speaker 1: and roll band today, I mean in the mainstream. Know
- 3:00Speaker 1: that there are great rock and roll bands out there
- 3:02Speaker 1: on the club circuit, out there killing it. But you know,
- 3:06Speaker 1: we're talking about modern culture, okay, because when we talk
- 3:10Speaker 1: about rock and roll as a whole historically, we're talking
- 3:13Speaker 1: about a culture shifting force, not a backbench subgenre. Okay,
- 3:19Speaker 1: there are no rock and roll bands on the charts anymore.
- 3:22Speaker 1: I say this a lot. I'm never gonna stop talking
- 3:25Speaker 1: about it. I find it. I find it to be
- 3:27Speaker 1: a very shitty reality. But the reason I'm talking about
- 3:30Speaker 1: it right now today in this bonus episode is because
- 3:33Speaker 1: this is what the Cramps, from this week's full episode,
- 3:36Speaker 1: we're getting at. Okay. The Cramps talked a lot about
- 3:40Speaker 1: the difference between rock and roll and rock. The Cramps
- 3:43Speaker 1: were on a mission to save rock and roll, and
- 3:46Speaker 1: they could tell back then in the seventies, eighties, and nineties,
- 3:49Speaker 1: that rock and roll was dying. The Cramps, of course,
- 3:51Speaker 1: like I alluded to, had a specific definition for what
- 3:53Speaker 1: rock and roll was. Dangerous music for teenagers, Okay, dangerous
- 3:58Speaker 1: music that separated the cool kids from the squares. By
- 4:03Speaker 1: that definition, it's hard to think of any consequential rock
- 4:06Speaker 1: and roll bands today that are making noise and that
- 4:08Speaker 1: are actually dangerous. Again, I know they're out there, I
- 4:12Speaker 1: know they're alive and well, but unfortunately they no longer matter,
- 4:15Speaker 1: not to the scale that the artists, the rock and
- 4:17Speaker 1: roll artists that I mentioned before, mattered when it came
- 4:20Speaker 1: to culture. Okay, these the rock and roll bands today
- 4:23Speaker 1: are no longer appearing on the charts and driving culture
- 4:27Speaker 1: like Elvis was, like the Rolling Stones did, like the
- 4:30Speaker 1: sex Pistols, the Ramones, etc. Today, Coldplay, Hosier, how to
- 4:36Speaker 1: say that? Hosier Hosier, and Billie Eilish. These three artists
- 4:41Speaker 1: currently occupy the number one top rock album, the number
- 4:45Speaker 1: one rock song, and the Hot Rock the number one
- 4:49Speaker 1: Hot Rock Alternative song chart positions on Billboard. It's hard
- 4:54Speaker 1: to call any of these artists rock and roll by
- 4:57Speaker 1: any traditional definition. Again, Play Hosier and Billie Eilish it's
- 5:03Speaker 1: hard to call them rock and roll. It's even harder
- 5:07Speaker 1: to claim that they're dangerous. They are about as safe
- 5:11Speaker 1: as it gets. And this is how you know your
- 5:15Speaker 1: parents likely wouldn't be annoyed or threatened if you put
- 5:20Speaker 1: a cold Play song on when you're out for a
- 5:23Speaker 1: riding the car with your mom, or if, like me,
- 5:26Speaker 1: you are a parent, you're likely not going to be
- 5:28Speaker 1: annoyed or threatened. If your kid is sitting there and
- 5:32Speaker 1: puts on you know, Billie Eilish or Coldplayer or whatever.
- 5:36Speaker 1: You might have a question about their taste, but whatever.
- 5:39Speaker 1: And the reason why, of course, the reason why we
- 5:41Speaker 1: aren't threatened or annoyed particularly is because these artists are safe.
- 5:46Speaker 1: They're not dangerous. Okay, to the extent that any of
- 5:48Speaker 1: these artists are even rebellious is it's contrived. It's not
- 5:54Speaker 1: actual rebellion. Now, I'm not criticizing these artists. Whatever, do
- 5:58Speaker 1: what you gotta do, Okay, I don't care. Make whatever
- 6:00Speaker 1: music you want. People clearly love it. I don't, but whatever,
- 6:04Speaker 1: it does not matter. I'm not criticizing the artists. I'm
- 6:07Speaker 1: not criticizing the people who listen to these artists. I'm
- 6:11Speaker 1: simply trying to make a point that the Cramps were
- 6:14Speaker 1: right that rock and roll was dying, and now it
- 6:18Speaker 1: is dead. And there is a massive difference between the
- 6:21Speaker 1: rock artists on the charts today and the rock and
- 6:23Speaker 1: roll artists on the charts from years past. But you
- 6:28Speaker 1: know what isn't dead hip hop. It's not only the
- 6:32Speaker 1: dominant music for us that's driving culture. It's also more
- 6:36Speaker 1: dangerous than modern rock music in every possible way. And
- 6:40Speaker 1: I'm talking about current chart topping hip hop stars too,
- 6:42Speaker 1: not just the names from the past that we all
- 6:45Speaker 1: know that we've talked about in Disgraceland. Okay, I'm talking
- 6:48Speaker 1: about Young Thug. Okay, Young Thug is on trial currently
- 6:51Speaker 1: on a criminal conspiracy beef. Another artist w N Melly,
- 6:54Speaker 1: if I'm pronouncing that correctly, is about to be tried
- 6:57Speaker 1: for a second time on a double murder charge. Those charges,
- 7:01Speaker 1: criminal conspiracy and murder, they rival the true crimes from
- 7:04Speaker 1: the rock and roll artists that we've covered here in Disgraceland.
- 7:07Speaker 1: And yes, like I said, we've covered plenty of hip
- 7:09Speaker 1: hop artists in the past and in the present, where
- 7:13Speaker 1: in all cases the danger is front and center is
- 7:17Speaker 1: very much a part of the artist's disgraceful behavior. And
- 7:22Speaker 1: this is because, as we know when it comes to
- 7:23Speaker 1: rock starts, when it comes to musicians, the danger is
- 7:26Speaker 1: baked into the cake, so to speak. And part of
- 7:28Speaker 1: the reason we love a lot of these artists is
- 7:30Speaker 1: because they behave badly, and that behavior causes us to
- 7:34Speaker 1: question many things, including the reasons why we sometimes support
- 7:37Speaker 1: or supported these artists in the first place. These stories
- 7:41Speaker 1: about Johnny Paycheck shooting a guy in a bar, about
- 7:45Speaker 1: Easye funding his hip hop career with drug money, about
- 7:49Speaker 1: guns and roses starting a riot. Somehow, these stories incredibly
- 7:55Speaker 1: seems safe compared to the stories being alleged by one
- 8:00Speaker 1: hip hop star currently, that, of course, is Sean Ditty Combs.
- 8:06Speaker 1: New allegations were released this week against Combs, and let's
- 8:10Speaker 1: consider for a quick second just how fucking nuts and
- 8:15Speaker 1: outside the rails the behavior of this hip hop star
- 8:21Speaker 1: actually is. Now, I've gone over everything in the federal
- 8:24Speaker 1: indictment and I talked I think it was last week,
- 8:27Speaker 1: perhaps it was the week prior about this attorney from Houston,
- 8:31Speaker 1: Tony Busby and the one hundred plus cases complaints criminal
- 8:36Speaker 1: complaints that he is bringing against Ditty outside of the indictment.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Now he's released I believe six of these lawsuits this week. Okay,
- 8:47Speaker 1: so that's new. And these lawsuits are going to be
- 8:51Speaker 1: expanded as well, and I'm not going to go through
- 8:55Speaker 1: all of them, but I am just going to tell
- 8:57Speaker 1: you that they are completely shocking. I'm going to read
- 9:00Speaker 1: you one of the complaints here. I'm not going to
- 9:04Speaker 1: read it from the indictment because it's it would honestly
- 9:07Speaker 1: take up it would take up the entire episode. But
- 9:10Speaker 1: I am going to read to you verbatim from a
- 9:12Speaker 1: Business Insider. This is from October fourteenth. I'm recording this
- 9:16Speaker 1: on October sixteenth, and I'm reading you a direct from
- 9:20Speaker 1: the Business Insider article because I don't want to miss anything,
- 9:23Speaker 1: and I don't want to I don't want anybody to
- 9:24Speaker 1: claim that I'm sensationalizing anything. And I want you guys
- 9:27Speaker 1: to know that what I'm about to read you is
- 9:31Speaker 1: a summarized version of what is in the actual lawsuit, Okay,
- 9:36Speaker 1: in the legal paperwork and the complaint. And by that
- 9:40Speaker 1: I mean it's it's uh. I don't want to say
- 9:42Speaker 1: it's cleaned up. I mean, yeah, it's cleaned up a
- 9:43Speaker 1: little bit. It's not as shocking. Yet it's still super shocking.
- 9:49Speaker 1: So it says here the nineteen page and again, this
- 9:51Speaker 1: is one of six one of six lawsuits. Okay. The
- 9:55Speaker 1: nineteen page lawsuit is one of two filed Monday that
- 9:59Speaker 1: names an outside company as a defendant beyond the companies
- 10:01Speaker 1: belonging to Combs. It was filed on behalf of a
- 10:04Speaker 1: John Doe who now lives in Ohio. The plaintiff, the
- 10:07Speaker 1: John Doe, alleges that he was orally raped by Combs
- 10:11Speaker 1: while working in the stockroom of a flagship's store. The
- 10:15Speaker 1: plaintiff said he worked for Echo, a rival company to
- 10:18Speaker 1: Combs's Sean John brand that was also carried by Macy's. Okay,
- 10:22Speaker 1: so here we go. On the day of the attack,
- 10:26Speaker 1: did he entered into the stock room with three armed bodyguards?
- 10:30Speaker 1: This is what the lawsuit says. One or more of
- 10:33Speaker 1: the guards struck the plaintiff, So it says here he
- 10:38Speaker 1: may have been pistol whipped, that's what he's alleging, causing
- 10:41Speaker 1: him to fall to his hands in knees. The plaintiff
- 10:44Speaker 1: says in the lawsuit that one or more of the
- 10:46Speaker 1: bodyguards threatened to kill him. So let's just take a second. Here,
- 10:53Speaker 1: let's move beyond the Business Insider article, here, beyond the
- 10:58Speaker 1: legal documentation, and let's try to put ourselves in the moment.
- 11:02Speaker 1: You're a dude working in a stock room. You're just
- 11:06Speaker 1: having your fucking day. Man. You know, and I've worked
- 11:10Speaker 1: in stock rooms before, when I was younger. I've worked
- 11:12Speaker 1: in factories. I I know what it's like. You're off
- 11:16Speaker 1: in your own your own head. You might have headphones on,
- 11:19Speaker 1: you're chilling, you're thinking about lunch, that sandwich you packed,
- 11:23Speaker 1: You're getting ready to go, take a load off for
- 11:26Speaker 1: about forty five minutes before you jump back into your day.
- 11:29Speaker 1: And all of a sudden, one of the biggest hip
- 11:31Speaker 1: hop stars on the fucking planet walks in with three bodyguards.
- 11:35Speaker 1: Pistol whips you. Pistol whips you at work, and, as
- 11:40Speaker 1: far as I can tell, for no reason. And then
- 11:46Speaker 1: and then the plaintiff claims the Combs demands he blows them,
- 11:52Speaker 1: performs oral sex. The plaintiff goes on to say that
- 11:56Speaker 1: Diddy was calling him Echo because that's the brand he
- 11:59Speaker 1: worked for. That's that's who he was stalking the shells for. Again,
- 12:04Speaker 1: you're sitting there, Sean Combs walks in with three security guards,
- 12:10Speaker 1: pistol whips you, is calling you echo the name of
- 12:13Speaker 1: the company you work for, demands that you give him
- 12:16Speaker 1: head and then orally rapes you, or so you claim,
- 12:20Speaker 1: all while you're just waiting to fucking go on your
- 12:22Speaker 1: lunch break. Then, and this is the shit that gets me,
- 12:27Speaker 1: the specificity, the details in these lawsuits, in these legal documents. Then,
- 12:31Speaker 1: the lawsuit alleges that after the assault, Combs grabbed armfuls
- 12:35Speaker 1: of Sean John merchandise from the stock room, went out
- 12:38Speaker 1: onto the retail floor and began passing out merchandise to
- 12:42Speaker 1: an adoring crowd as if nothing had happened. The plaintiff
- 12:46Speaker 1: reported in the same day to company security, but there
- 12:49Speaker 1: was no follow up and he was soon barred from
- 12:51Speaker 1: the store, the lawsuit alleges, and it should be mentioned
- 12:54Speaker 1: that Diddy, through his lawyers, has denied that this or
- 12:58Speaker 1: any of the other allegations I mentioned in passing so
- 13:01Speaker 1: far have actually happened. Okay did He's claiming that he's innocent,
- 13:06Speaker 1: and the same thing that he said about the federal charges,
- 13:08Speaker 1: the same thing he's saying about these churches. Now, you
- 13:13Speaker 1: may say, Jake, you mentioned that the diddy stuff is shocking,
- 13:20Speaker 1: perhaps more shocking than anything that you've covered in disgrace Land.
- 13:24Speaker 1: But really, Jake, it's just it's just some rape. It's
- 13:27Speaker 1: just some pre lunch break rape, you know, getting a
- 13:31Speaker 1: little rapie before the lunch truck pulls up to the
- 13:33Speaker 1: to the Macy's loading dock. The details, again, the details
- 13:41Speaker 1: and the sheer horror of this action are as bad,
- 13:46Speaker 1: or sorry, worse than almost anything that I've that I've
- 13:49Speaker 1: covered so far. And and then when you start to
- 13:52Speaker 1: get into some of these other allegations that have come
- 13:55Speaker 1: out over the last few weeks that are outside of
- 13:58Speaker 1: the federal indictment that the now famous one thousand or
- 14:02Speaker 1: ten thousand whatever it was bottles of lubricant sexual lubricant
- 14:06Speaker 1: that were seized, and the allegations that that lubricant, that
- 14:10Speaker 1: that lubricant was dosed with drugs that tranquilize you so
- 14:15Speaker 1: that they can use it to massage women and get
- 14:19Speaker 1: them to pass out and then abuse them sexually. I mean,
- 14:23Speaker 1: I can't even I can't even wrap my brain around this.
- 14:28Speaker 1: And as if the actions weren't bad enough, as if
- 14:32Speaker 1: the crimes and the allegations themselves are not horrifying enough.
- 14:38Speaker 1: They are particularly horrifying when you take into account that
- 14:43Speaker 1: these claims go back I think almost thirty years, three
- 14:48Speaker 1: decades of this behavior. So when I look at it
- 14:51Speaker 1: like that, yeah, it is way worse than anything that
- 14:55Speaker 1: I've covered. Okay, all of this goes way beyond anything
- 14:59Speaker 1: that we've spoken about here, and disgrace saying, yes, even
- 15:01Speaker 1: the Big Larch cannibalism episode that was one incident a
- 15:05Speaker 1: psychotic reaction to a drug. This, this Ditty stuff is
- 15:09Speaker 1: a sickening criminal conspiracy allegedly spanning years, decades, and beyond
- 15:15Speaker 1: the federal indictment, there are, of course, these separate lawsuits
- 15:18Speaker 1: that I've been talking about where the behavior described in
- 15:20Speaker 1: these suits involves the criminal conspiracy, the sex trafficking, drugging
- 15:24Speaker 1: underaged men and women to forced sex upon them unknowingly,
- 15:27Speaker 1: and now even now even the threat of murder. I'm
- 15:31Speaker 1: not going to go into the other lawsuits of these
- 15:34Speaker 1: new six, but there's there's one where Ditty threatens one
- 15:38Speaker 1: of his victims with murder if if they say anything. Okay,
- 15:42Speaker 1: And of course, again Sean Combs denies this, saying through
- 15:47Speaker 1: his attorneys on Monday that the lawsuits filed here that
- 15:50Speaker 1: I'm speaking about were done so to quote unquote Garner Publicity.
- 15:55Speaker 1: And they further say, mister Combs and his legal team
- 15:57Speaker 1: have full confidence in the facts, their legal defenses, and
- 16:00Speaker 1: the integrity of the judicial process. The lawyer said in court.
- 16:03Speaker 1: They go on to say in court the truth will prevail.
- 16:06Speaker 1: The mister Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone adult or minor,
- 16:11Speaker 1: man or woman unquote. So there you have it. However,
- 16:19Speaker 1: if even a portion, if even a portion of this
- 16:22Speaker 1: is true, then this story is as dangerous as it gets.
- 16:28Speaker 1: This artist is as dangerous as they come. Part of
- 16:33Speaker 1: me doesn't know what to do with all this, you know,
- 16:38Speaker 1: It's like it's I keep saying this, it's the biggest
- 16:40Speaker 1: music and true crime story of all time, and you know,
- 16:43Speaker 1: the music and true crime is what we do. Yet
- 16:46Speaker 1: I'm confused as to how to how to deal with
- 16:48Speaker 1: all this. It's there's so much of it that is
- 16:52Speaker 1: so shocking that at a certain point it's not shocking,
- 16:56Speaker 1: and it makes it seem like what I've been doing
- 16:59Speaker 1: is is child's play. Suddenly telling the story of Jerry
- 17:02Speaker 1: Lewis getting away with murdering his wife feels cute compared
- 17:05Speaker 1: to thirty years of this alleged Diddy behavior. It's so much.
- 17:12Speaker 1: And again, we get the headlines, we get the memes,
- 17:15Speaker 1: the notifications, were becoming desensitized to the whole thing almost,
- 17:19Speaker 1: or at least I am, because I'm deep in it.
- 17:22Speaker 1: But the details in the ditty criminal complaints, they're more
- 17:25Speaker 1: shocking in a lot of ways, again, like I said,
- 17:27Speaker 1: than anything that I've seen in my research for Disgraceland
- 17:29Speaker 1: thus far. And then, of course, where this goes? Man, Okay,
- 17:37Speaker 1: as I've been saying, this is a question of where
- 17:38Speaker 1: does all this go? And who else was involved beyond Diddy.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Now Tony Busby, who filed those lawsuits this week, who
- 17:47Speaker 1: has the one hundred plus lawsuits that he's going to file,
- 17:50Speaker 1: is doubling down on his claim that there will be
- 17:53Speaker 1: names soon that will shock us. We will see and
- 17:58Speaker 1: just you know, for an update, you know, he has
- 18:01Speaker 1: reached out to those big names, to those people that
- 18:03Speaker 1: he has evidence against in these criminal lawsuits who are
- 18:07Speaker 1: involved with Diddy, and he's essentially shopping settlements. I'm not
- 18:13Speaker 1: going to pass judgment on the people making these claims.
- 18:16Speaker 1: I'm not even gonna pass judgment on Tony Busby. Not
- 18:19Speaker 1: all criminal attorneys are the stereotype. But I'm just giving
- 18:23Speaker 1: you this information so you know, I think there's a
- 18:25Speaker 1: slim chance. Then in the final analysis, we sit back
- 18:29Speaker 1: and go, this was a money grab and Diddy was
- 18:31Speaker 1: innocent and he walks away. I think that is a
- 18:34Speaker 1: very there is a very slim chance of that happening.
- 18:37Speaker 1: At the same time, are we going to see culture
- 18:43Speaker 1: imploding evidence that is going to tear down some of
- 18:46Speaker 1: the biggest A list celebrities on the planet. I don't
- 18:50Speaker 1: think it's going to go that far either. I think
- 18:52Speaker 1: it'll be somewhere in the middle, perhaps closer to that
- 18:55Speaker 1: last scenario that I just mentioned. I want to update
- 18:59Speaker 1: you guys a little bit here on jay Z and Beyonce.
- 19:03Speaker 1: I think it was in last week's episode I was
- 19:06Speaker 1: speaking critically of jay Z and how he hasn't really
- 19:08Speaker 1: defended himself on anything like that. Well, we have we
- 19:10Speaker 1: have new news on that. Piers Morgan the Journalists had
- 19:15Speaker 1: Jaguar Wright on his show. I've told you guys, who
- 19:18Speaker 1: Jaguar Right is. Jaguar Right went off kind of on
- 19:22Speaker 1: jay Z in Beyonce with these wild allegations that she's
- 19:26Speaker 1: been making on TikTok that are I just I'm gonna
- 19:31Speaker 1: I'm going to refrain from repeating them here, but they
- 19:33Speaker 1: are connected to Diddy. Of course, jay Z and Beyonce,
- 19:36Speaker 1: their attorney promptly went after Piers Morgan. Piers Morgan had
- 19:40Speaker 1: to issue an apology, so that says something. And apparently
- 19:44Speaker 1: jay Z and Beyonce have been issuing cease and desist
- 19:47Speaker 1: letters to content creators on TikTok who are repeating some
- 19:52Speaker 1: of the allegations that Jaguar Right is repeating. So I
- 19:57Speaker 1: just wanted to update you there because I made a
- 19:59Speaker 1: point of mentioning how they they hadn't really jay Z
- 20:00Speaker 1: and Beyonce hadn't really said anything. I do want to
- 20:04Speaker 1: also mention that there's still you know, even though jay
- 20:07Speaker 1: Z and Beyonce have spoken up here through their attorney
- 20:09Speaker 1: at least or through their attorney's actions, I should say
- 20:11Speaker 1: they've acted through their attorney, not spoken up. I do
- 20:15Speaker 1: want to say that it's still kind of crickets from
- 20:19Speaker 1: the entertainment industry on the Diddy allegations. So that's telling
- 20:24Speaker 1: I believe, So the Diddy allegations. My larger point beyond dangerous. Okay,
- 20:31Speaker 1: they are legitimately scary. They're monstrous. So here's a question.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Would you leave your kid alone with the guys in
- 20:38Speaker 1: Coldplay while you went off for a pack of smokes?
- 20:39Speaker 2: Maybe?
- 20:40Speaker 1: Probably okay? But would you leave your kid alone with
- 20:42Speaker 1: Sean Combs Apps fusolutely not. If these allegations are true,
- 20:47Speaker 1: Shawn Combs has taken the danger of rock and roll,
- 20:51Speaker 1: the danger of hip hop, obviously way over the frigging line,
- 20:55Speaker 1: to a point where, like I said, even I am shocked,
- 20:57Speaker 1: which is very hard to do. But still, Sean Combs
- 21:01Speaker 1: is not a rock and roll star. He's a hip
- 21:03Speaker 1: hop mogul, and rock and roll is dead despite the
- 21:07Speaker 1: Cramp's best intentions, and Shawn Combs he's in jail attempting
- 21:11Speaker 1: for a third time to get out on bail before
- 21:13Speaker 1: his trial begins on May fifth, twenty twenty five, but
- 21:17Speaker 1: the judge might just rule that he's too dangerous to
- 21:21Speaker 1: be let out. We shall see if these allegations turn
- 21:25Speaker 1: out to be true, than Shawn Combs is, like I said,
- 21:27Speaker 1: truly a monster, scarier in more dangerous guys and anything
- 21:32Speaker 1: Halloween can serve up than anything in a Cramp song.
- 21:35Speaker 1: Scarier and more dangerous than any horror movie. And speaking
- 21:39Speaker 1: of which, next week's full episode in Your Disgrace Slam
- 21:41Speaker 1: Feed is on the film Poltergeist and the curse connected
- 21:45Speaker 1: to that movie. This movie scared the hell out of
- 21:48Speaker 1: me when I was a little kid. I don't find
- 21:50Speaker 1: it to be as scary now, and I showed it.
- 21:54Speaker 1: We showed it last year to my oldest son. I
- 21:57Speaker 1: don't think we let our youngest watch it, and he
- 22:01Speaker 1: was scared. He was super scared. There's something about polder guys,
- 22:05Speaker 1: where I don't know, like this sort of like just
- 22:07Speaker 1: before puberty years, you know, ten eleven. I don't remember
- 22:11Speaker 1: how old I was when I saw it, but it
- 22:13Speaker 1: was the perfect age for me to be freaked out
- 22:15Speaker 1: by it. So when you're listening to this next episode,
- 22:18Speaker 1: next episode in the Disgraceland feed on Poldier, guys, I
- 22:21Speaker 1: want you guys to be thinking about what movies scared
- 22:23Speaker 1: the hell out of you when you were a kid. Okay,
- 22:26Speaker 1: that's going to be the question of the week next week.
- 22:28Speaker 1: I'm gonna take a quick break. I'll be back in
- 22:29Speaker 1: the flash with your voicemails, text, dms and more. All Right,
- 22:48Speaker 1: we are back. Thanks guys for listening to this bonus
- 22:51Speaker 1: episode of Disgraceland. I want to update you guys on
- 22:53Speaker 1: the live stream that we had planned for last week
- 22:55Speaker 1: October ninth. We were, of course postponed due to Hurricane Milton,
- 23:01Speaker 1: which came storming through Florida also had a bunch of
- 23:05Speaker 1: tornadoes we weren't planning on anyways, We are working on
- 23:09Speaker 1: a solution to how we're going to bring you this story.
- 23:11Speaker 1: I'll have news on that for you very shortly, so
- 23:14Speaker 1: you'll hear that here in the upcoming bonus episodes, upcoming

- 23:30Speaker 1: hope you're loving it as well. We just released our
- 23:33Speaker 1: episode on the Cramps. We put back into the feed
- 23:36Speaker 1: one of the archive episodes on Black Sabbath. We did
- 23:39Speaker 1: some auzy stuff. But back to the Cramps and Black Sabbath.
- 23:42Speaker 1: We have these two new merch items that I'm really
- 23:45Speaker 1: excited about that are inspired by these episodes. We have
- 23:48Speaker 1: a Masters of Reality, Black Sabbath design for Rock Rolla,
- 23:52Speaker 1: which I'm pretty stoked on. And we have a Cramps
- 23:55Speaker 1: inspired design as well for this other T shirt that
- 23:58Speaker 1: we've got for you guys. We did in collaboration with
- 24:01Speaker 1: a great artist I named Spencer Alexander. So these merch items,
- 24:06Speaker 1: these two new shirts that we have, they're gonna be
- 24:07Speaker 1: available to you well right now as you're hearing this.
- 24:10Speaker 1: But here's the thing. This is a drop. It's a
- 24:13Speaker 1: merch drop. They're only going to be available for a week,
- 24:15Speaker 1: starting Thursday, the day that this bonus episode is released, Thursday,

- 24:34Speaker 1: could show them to you here. I can't check out

- 24:42Speaker 1: go to the merch page and you will see these
- 24:44Speaker 1: items there. Get them while they last. You're not gonna
- 24:46Speaker 1: want to sleep on these they're freaking awesome. I love them.
- 24:50Speaker 1: I have to hold myself back from buying them for
- 24:52Speaker 1: my family all over the place, but I'm not going
- 24:54Speaker 1: to do that. We're going to keep the stock bountiful
- 24:56Speaker 1: for you guys. Get in there, cop this Halloween Disgraceline merch.
- 25:00Speaker 1: You're gonna love it all right enough for me. Let's
- 25:02Speaker 1: hear from you, guys six one seven nine oh six
- 25:03Speaker 1: sixty six three aid to send me a text or
- 25:06Speaker 1: voicemail just like this caller from the six to one
- 25:09Speaker 1: nine on the question of the greatest rock and roll
- 25:11Speaker 1: band of all time.
- 25:12Speaker 3: Hey, Jake, this is Jesse from the six one nine.
- 25:15Speaker 3: I'm just gonna keep it simple and brief man. For me,
- 25:18Speaker 3: it's clean. I'm forty seven. I can think back to
- 25:22Speaker 3: the very first songs that I ever heard from them,
- 25:25Speaker 3: and here it is, all these years later, especially with
- 25:28Speaker 3: the resurgence from Bohemian Rhapsody back with Wayne's World. Thank
- 25:32Speaker 3: God for that. They're just transcendent in everything. I mean,
- 25:37Speaker 3: you've got, you got some slow rock, you got some
- 25:40Speaker 3: fast rock. You just got popped through them too. But
- 25:42Speaker 3: they're still one of the best, if not the best
- 25:45Speaker 3: rock and roll bands ever. Just my opinion from a
- 25:48Speaker 3: young man from San Diego, California.
- 25:51Speaker 1: Thank you, Jesse, thanks for the voicemail, my friend. I
- 25:54Speaker 1: appreciate you. My wife will appreciate your message even more
- 25:56Speaker 1: though she is a massive Queen fan, which reminds me.
- 26:00Speaker 1: I mean, we used to have a framed version of
- 26:02Speaker 1: the bicycle race poster. If you're Queen fan, you'll know
- 26:05Speaker 1: that came inside of the Jazz album. It's an incredible photograph,
- 26:09Speaker 1: credible poster. It's a bunch of well, fat bottomed girls
- 26:14Speaker 1: on bicycles and uh, it's great. And now I'm wondering,
- 26:18Speaker 1: where the hell where is that? I have that somewhere.
- 26:20Speaker 1: I'm kind of gonna find it. I want to put
- 26:21Speaker 1: it back up. All right, let's check in with the
- 26:23Speaker 1: five to four to Roho on the same question.
- 26:27Speaker 4: All right, so you want to know what the greatest
- 26:29Speaker 4: rock and roll band of all time? Okay, So if
- 26:32Speaker 4: we're gonna for any user crash he already you set up.
- 26:36Speaker 4: I'm gonna have to say Motorheads only because it was
- 26:41Speaker 4: vastly popular, but not commercially popular, kind of like you know,
- 26:46Speaker 4: there were mines of cramps so forth, but it had
- 26:50Speaker 4: such a wide base of fans, and they were all kids.
- 26:56Speaker 4: Most kids who did they identified with the insane rock
- 27:02Speaker 4: well rock and roll actually, but yeah, So I'm going
- 27:06Speaker 4: to go ahead and say it was Motorhead to make
- 27:09Speaker 4: great rock and roll band. I mean even Lendy says
- 27:12Speaker 4: it himself and concert he says, we are Motorhead, we
- 27:15Speaker 4: play rock and roll. So there you go, all right, droll,
- 27:21Speaker 4: All right.
- 27:22Speaker 1: I agree with you. Take five four roh, Motorhead. Great answer, Motorhead.
- 27:26Speaker 1: You know, I talk a lot in the in the
- 27:28Speaker 1: in the previous block about how when we're framing this
- 27:31Speaker 1: question of great rock and roll bands, I like to
- 27:34Speaker 1: lean into these bands that are pushing the culture. And
- 27:36Speaker 1: even though Motorhead was subculture, they were pushing the culture.
- 27:39Speaker 1: Motorhead was a presence in the nineteen eighties, and every
- 27:43Speaker 1: high school in America you could you could find that
- 27:45Speaker 1: that iconic Motorhead logo on a jean jacket of a
- 27:49Speaker 1: gearhead somewhere in America on any given day, and I
- 27:53Speaker 1: would argue pretty much any high school in the United States.
- 27:56Speaker 1: So Motorhead were definitely counterculture, but they were pushing the cultures.
- 28:00Speaker 1: So I love your take here. All right, let's check
- 28:03Speaker 1: out the eight six four.
- 28:07Speaker 3: What's happening, Jake?
- 28:08Speaker 2: This is Will in age sixty four. First off, I
- 28:11Speaker 2: just want to say, I hope you all being safe
- 28:12Speaker 2: from Florida. We just got through Helene in South Carolina
- 28:17Speaker 2: and it was wild. We were without power from of
- 28:19Speaker 2: the week. My homies in Ashville of really going through it.
- 28:22Speaker 2: I hope you're really being safe down there. A couple
- 28:25Speaker 2: of things we connected on teaching through Instagram. Fucking love that.
- 28:31Speaker 2: I want to say, maybe you should look into Vince Giraldi,
- 28:35Speaker 2: that was famous for doing the Charlie Brown music. As
- 28:39Speaker 2: much as I put him on.
- 28:40Speaker 5: The map, he I'm pretty sure he had some back
- 28:43Speaker 5: and forth with the people.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Doing the cartoon and he wasn't too happy, especially with
- 28:47Speaker 2: the vocalized version of Christmas times here even like those
- 28:50Speaker 2: little brass and there with him.
- 28:52Speaker 4: But to go on, people that die too young.
- 28:57Speaker 5: I'm still going over your entire catalog of the episodes.
- 29:01Speaker 5: But dude, Jeff Buckley, like, what a fucking tragedy man,
- 29:07Speaker 5: what a talent that we really didn't get to see
- 29:09Speaker 5: fully blossomed.
- 29:11Speaker 6: You know.
- 29:11Speaker 5: The way he went out was disgraceful and just upsetting.
- 29:14Speaker 2: It sad, but I mean, I always thought, you know,
- 29:17Speaker 2: as much as everybody was very you know, very taken
- 29:21Speaker 2: with what he did. You know, there was a couple
- 29:23Speaker 2: of snakes in the grass, you know, really just out
- 29:25Speaker 2: for their own trying to push this too. But Jeff
- 29:28Speaker 2: Buckley as like one of the best albums, and it
- 29:31Speaker 2: happen to be one of his only so like, I
- 29:33Speaker 2: thought that was a really cool one. I still think
- 29:35Speaker 2: they need to do an episode of Tim Armstrong given
- 29:38Speaker 2: his crazy.
- 29:39Speaker 3: History with Ivy and Rancid.
- 29:42Speaker 2: But dude, just want to say, I appreciate what you do.
- 29:45Speaker 2: Keep fucking doing it, man. We love it, man, we
- 29:47Speaker 2: love it. Be safe down here in Florida. Much love.
- 29:50Speaker 1: Eight six four. Thanks for the call. I hope you
- 29:52Speaker 1: guys are doing okay post Helene. Love that you're digging
- 29:56Speaker 1: on the Keith Jarrett, I remember, I remember our DM exchange.
- 30:01Speaker 1: Vince GERALDI I'm definitely familiar with, not just because of
- 30:04Speaker 1: Charlie Brown and the Peanuts, although that was if I'm
- 30:06Speaker 1: being honest, that was what hit me to. Vince has
- 30:11Speaker 1: a great album that you probably know of, called Black Orpheus.
- 30:13Speaker 1: If anyone is interested, check that out by Vince Giraldi.
- 30:17Speaker 1: It's j Vince Gerraldi is a hip fucking dude man
- 30:20Speaker 1: jazz guy. I think even hung out with the dead
- 30:23Speaker 1: early in the early years. I could be wrong about that.
- 30:25Speaker 1: I know he died young, but I think there was
- 30:27Speaker 1: some San Francisco connection there. A six four I I
- 30:32Speaker 1: did not know about his beef over the vocalized version
- 30:35Speaker 1: of Christmas Time is here. I love that. I love
- 30:37Speaker 1: knowing that that I find out to be very interesting
- 30:40Speaker 1: because although he apparently was beefing with it, I think
- 30:43Speaker 1: that that the version of that song on the from
- 30:45Speaker 1: a Charlie Brown Christmas or whatever it's called, is incredible
- 30:48Speaker 1: and I love it. And oh, Jeff Buckley, Yes, great answer, great, great,
- 30:52Speaker 1: great answer, And we have a Jeff Buckley episode. I
- 30:54Speaker 1: don't know if you've heard it or not. I'll drop
- 30:57Speaker 1: the number and the date later here in the Bone
- 31:00Speaker 1: episode so that you can find it in the archive.
- 31:02Speaker 1: All right, Ted from Texas called in, Yeah, and he
- 31:05Speaker 1: had to take kind of controversial take. I'm not gonna
- 31:09Speaker 1: mention I'm not going to play the voicemail from Ted,
- 31:11Speaker 1: but Ted, I want to address your voicemail even though
- 31:14Speaker 1: I don't want to play because I don't want to give.
- 31:16Speaker 1: I don't want to give too much time to this theory,
- 31:19Speaker 1: the theory, your theory. You mentioned that someone else had
- 31:21Speaker 1: mentioned on a podcast that Diddy was responsible for killing Tupac,
- 31:28Speaker 1: and I don't but I can't go there. If that
- 31:32Speaker 1: comes out in this whole Diddy debacle, I'll be shocked.
- 31:38Speaker 1: I will really be shocked. I think we will truly
- 31:41Speaker 1: be entering into uncharted territory there, very uncharted, chilling territory there.
- 31:48Speaker 1: And I go back and forth in my thinking historically
- 31:51Speaker 1: on who I think killed Tupac and who I think
- 31:54Speaker 1: killed Biggie and all to say, I just I just
- 31:57Speaker 1: don't know. I have I have had strong opinions at times.
- 32:02Speaker 1: I no longer have those strong opinions. But I can
- 32:05Speaker 1: also say confidently that I do not believe that that
- 32:08Speaker 1: Sean Combs killed Tupac Shakure. I just because it was relevant,
- 32:12Speaker 1: I wanted to address it here. All right, Let's do
- 32:15Speaker 1: some texts and DMS five one to erho texts in
- 32:18Speaker 1: best rock and Roll band of All Time? Rolling Stones,
- 32:22Speaker 1: it's Keith. He's a lifelong student and fanboy of American music,
- 32:26Speaker 1: and he did it better than any American rocker. Exit
- 32:28Speaker 1: on Main Street is the press play album The Stooges
- 32:32Speaker 1: and MC five popped into my head too, you know, yeah, yeah,
- 32:38Speaker 1: I hate that the best rock and roll band of
- 32:39Speaker 1: all time is an English band. I just do because
- 32:42Speaker 1: rock and roll to me is an American art form
- 32:46Speaker 1: and we gave it to the world. But the Stones
- 32:49Speaker 1: gave it back to us better than anyone else did,
- 32:52Speaker 1: at least for a minute. There good solid four or
- 32:56Speaker 1: five year run, maybe a little longer. I don't know.
- 32:59Speaker 1: I have mapped it out in my head. I actually
- 33:01Speaker 1: I have, I just can't remember. I'm pretty sure I
- 33:03Speaker 1: mapped it out in my Exit on Main Street episode
- 33:05Speaker 1: on the Rolling Stones. But you know, and I guess
- 33:09Speaker 1: if I'm going number two for greatest rock and roll
- 33:11Speaker 1: band of all time, I would go led Zeppelin, another
- 33:16Speaker 1: English band. Maybe the Beatles are up there too. God,
- 33:20Speaker 1: I hate that it's not an American band. Who are
- 33:22Speaker 1: the great American rock and roll bands? That's a question.
- 33:25Speaker 1: Who are they? Grateful dead but still by the Cramps
- 33:30Speaker 1: definition of rock and roll, Nah, not even close. Though
- 33:35Speaker 1: the Dead were dangerous, they truly were. You know, I've
- 33:39Speaker 1: talked about that too. Okay, you really this is a
- 33:42Speaker 1: great text, you really got me going here five one
- 33:44Speaker 1: to oh, oh see what I did there? The Kinks
- 33:46Speaker 1: though again English, you really got me. But then van
- 33:48Speaker 1: Halen maybe van Halen, I don't know. Six or four
- 33:52Speaker 1: to one, writes in Since your latest question is about
- 33:54Speaker 1: best rock and roll bands, I'm going to say in
- 33:57Speaker 1: history the answer is led Zeppelin, and times the answer
- 34:01Speaker 1: is low cut Connie, Great Tech six four to one,
- 34:04Speaker 1: and I think I agree with you. I just mentioned
- 34:06Speaker 1: led Zeppelin, and I definitely agree with you when it
- 34:09Speaker 1: comes to low kut Connie and break a little news
- 34:12Speaker 1: here sixty four to one. I'm gonna have Adam on
- 34:13Speaker 1: the show next week on the bonus episode. As a
- 34:16Speaker 1: little addendum at the end is a little interview talk
- 34:18Speaker 1: about low Kuk Connie's movie, Adam's movie that he is out.
- 34:21Speaker 1: So there you go. Anyone knows who low kak Connie is,
- 34:24Speaker 1: You're welcome in advance. Anyone who doesn't go find low
- 34:28Speaker 1: Kuk Connie and again you're welcome. You will love them.
- 34:30Speaker 1: Amazing rock and roll band. Five three zero Rights in
- 34:33Speaker 1: the Cramps. Yes, one of the best episodes ever. Well,
- 34:37Speaker 1: thank you very much. Five three oh, I appreciate that.
- 34:40Speaker 1: Eight four or five rights saying, Hey, I hope I'm
- 34:42Speaker 1: not reaching you at a bad time, so polite. Eight
- 34:45Speaker 1: four or five you're definitely not from Massachusetts. Eight four
- 34:48Speaker 1: or five says, my name is Luke and I'm a disco.
- 34:51Speaker 1: I was listening to your after party episode from September
- 34:53Speaker 1: twenty six. I believe I was hoping to reach you
- 34:56Speaker 1: in order to ask would it be possible for me
- 34:57Speaker 1: to still sign up for the upcoming book club. It
- 35:00Speaker 1: is on the Exorcist right, Yes, it is Luke, and
- 35:05Speaker 1: I was supposed to put this information out on how
- 35:08Speaker 1: to sign up. You can sign up if you're an
- 35:10Speaker 1: All Access member, but we don't need to be an
- 35:11Speaker 1: All Access member. Anyone can join, and I gotta get
- 35:14Speaker 1: that information out. I'll have more information next week, and
- 35:17Speaker 1: I in here in the bonus episode, and then of
- 35:19Speaker 1: course in the socials that's on the twenty ninth. I believe. Okay,
- 35:24Speaker 1: So Luke, thank you. I gonna make a note nine
- 35:26Speaker 1: oh four text in. It's Spencer text in more about
- 35:29Speaker 1: the greatest rock and roll band. A lot of Keith,
- 35:32Speaker 1: a lot of Rolling Stones. I mean, Keith is the
- 35:33Speaker 1: avatar for a rock and roll star. Spencer's talking about
- 35:36Speaker 1: Exit on Main Street, A five six rights in rock
- 35:39Speaker 1: and roll question from the after party. I hope I'm
- 35:41Speaker 1: not too late. Zz top Rio Grand Mud is badass.
- 35:45Speaker 1: I came to it way too late. ACDC. It's all
- 35:48Speaker 1: straightforward rock and roll, but as a teenager, it was
- 35:50Speaker 1: led Zeppelin for me. Lots of Dare I say consensus
- 35:54Speaker 1: here on the greatest rock and roll band of all time?
- 35:57Speaker 1: Lots of led Zeppelin, lots of Rolling Stone ones, ac
- 36:01Speaker 1: DC pulling up the rear a bit in the third,
- 36:04Speaker 1: you know, I would go ACDC. I think Bond Scott
- 36:08Speaker 1: is probably the greatest rock and roll front man of
- 36:10Speaker 1: all time in my estimation, but Brian Johnson is not.
- 36:16Speaker 1: I like Brian Johnson a lot. I love him actually,
- 36:19Speaker 1: but he's no Bond Scott. And just there's you know,
- 36:21Speaker 1: I can't I can't go there with ac DC because
- 36:24Speaker 1: there's so much non bond Scott something. Most people don't
- 36:26Speaker 1: even know who Bond Scott is, but that Bond Scott
- 36:29Speaker 1: era stuff, particularly PowerEdge. Oh my god, definition of rock
- 36:33Speaker 1: and roll? All right? I said I do some dms,
- 36:35Speaker 1: and I'm gonna do some dms, okay. Hector Gomez on Facebook. Rights, dude,
- 36:39Speaker 1: leave town before you become the subject of your podcast. Well,
- 36:41Speaker 1: we didn't leave town, Hector, but the tornadoes and the
- 36:44Speaker 1: hurricanes scared the shit out of us. We're all thankfully, okay.
- 36:49Speaker 1: I just want to say thanks to everybody, Hector and
- 36:52Speaker 1: everyone else who sent me some me and my family
- 36:55Speaker 1: some kindness and some well wishes during what was a
- 36:58Speaker 1: very stressful time. I'm and I'm very grateful that things
- 37:01Speaker 1: turned out okay for us. Some shit went down fairly
- 37:05Speaker 1: close to us, but again thankful that we did not
- 37:08Speaker 1: suffer any damage to our property or to ourselves. At
- 37:12Speaker 1: Matti sphere over on Instagram. Rights and listen to the
- 37:15Speaker 1: Cramps episode and the correct answer to your question at
- 37:17Speaker 1: the end about the greatest rock and roll band of
- 37:19Speaker 1: all time is the Beatles. I know, I know the Stones,
- 37:23Speaker 1: right Na, especially after Lemmy's remarks on the matter in
- 37:25Speaker 1: that doc for a few years ago. I don't know
- 37:27Speaker 1: how it couldn't be Unle that's the chorus, Chuck Barrier,
- 37:29Speaker 1: or maybe the Stooges honorable mention, the Ramones ACDC. This
- 37:32Speaker 1: guy's all over the place, Matt most Fear. I take
- 37:36Speaker 1: your point. The Beatles Beatles were more than a rock
- 37:38Speaker 1: and roll band to me, As Paul McCartney tells it,
- 37:41Speaker 1: They're just a great, literalc and roll band. It's an
- 37:43Speaker 1: awful Paul McCartney impersonation. Keep you can keep it in there, Matt. Okay,
- 37:49Speaker 1: but the Beatles just so much more than a rock
- 37:51Speaker 1: and roll band. It feels like an insult called them
- 37:54Speaker 1: just a rock and roll band. They changed pop music
- 37:56Speaker 1: forever on a grand scale. So I don't know. I
- 38:01Speaker 1: take your point though. At disgrace Lampod on Facebook, on Instagram,

- 38:17Speaker 1: come back on the other side and read some emails

- 38:41Speaker 1: could easily be a two parter apocalypse now the Doors
- 38:44Speaker 1: in a cursed cast. You could tie in the Doors
- 38:48Speaker 1: infamous first performance of the end with the issues in
- 38:50Speaker 1: the making of the movie, Martin Sheen getting fucked up
- 38:53Speaker 1: and punching the mirror and his heart attack on set,
- 38:55Speaker 1: Brando not rehearsing a thing and being completely insane, Dennis
- 38:59Speaker 1: Hopper hi and riffing his own lines because he also
- 39:01Speaker 1: refused to learn thing. You can spin this with brilliance,
- 39:05Speaker 1: Johnny Vinel, I appreciate the email. That's a great fucking idea. Actually,
- 39:08Speaker 1: Man Apocalypse now sounds Johnny like you've seen Coppola's wife's
- 39:13Speaker 1: documentary Hearts of Darkness, which is incredible. And uh yeah. Also,
- 39:20Speaker 1: there's there's a lot of there's a lot of great
- 39:22Speaker 1: little tidbits from the making of that movie that are
- 39:25Speaker 1: unknown that would be fun to get into, like how
- 39:28Speaker 1: Harvey kai Tel was originally cast to play the role
- 39:30Speaker 1: of Martin Sheen played but didn't get it. I like this.
- 39:33Speaker 1: I like this good email. Strong Disgrace Lapod at gmail

- 40:38Speaker 1: and the subject of your email, even though you mentioned
- 40:40Speaker 1: her death, you're the subject is strange artist disappearance. So
- 40:43Speaker 1: I'm guessing that this artist disappeared Sophie and was then
- 40:48Speaker 1: found to be dead. I don't know. I'm going to
- 40:50Speaker 1: look into. I am intrigued, is my point, and you're right.
