  Hi
• 0:21
  there.
• 0:21
  Welcome
• 0:22
  to
• 0:22
  team
• 0:22
  of
• 0:22
  the
• 0:23
  80s.
• 0:23
  My
• 0:23
  name
• 0:23
  is
• 0:23
  Gary
• 0:24
  Spencer.
• 0:24
  So
• 0:25
  we
• 0:25
  did
• 0:25
  it.
• 0:25
  Yeah.
• 0:26
  After
• 0:27
  all
• 0:27
  that
• 0:27
  drama
• 0:28
  since
• 0:28
  January,
• 0:29
  losing
• 0:30
  to
• 0:30
  Macclesfield
• 0:31
  in
• 0:31
  the
• 0:31
  third
• 0:31
  round
• 0:31
  of
• 0:31
  the
• 0:31
  FA
• 0:32
  cup,
• 0:33
  we
• 0:34
  ended
• 0:34
  up
• 0:34
  as
• 0:34
  European
• 0:35
  Conference
• 0:35
  League
• 0:36
  champions.
• 0:37
  So
• 0:38
  I
• 0:38
  guess
• 0:38
  in
• 0:38
  some
• 0:38
  ways
• 0:40
  Glasner
• 0:40
  redeemed
• 0:41
  himself.
• 0:42
  I
• 0:43
  don't
• 0:43
  know.
• 0:44
  I
• 0:45
  don't
• 0:45
  know
• 0:45
  how
• 0:45
  palace
• 0:46
  fans
• 0:46
  are
• 0:46
  going
• 0:46
  to
• 0:47
  feel
• 0:48
  about
• 0:48
  him
• 0:48
  when
• 0:48
  he
• 0:48
  goes.
• 0:49
  I
• 0:49
  think
• 0:49
  the
• 0:50
  majority
• 0:50
  of
• 0:50
  them,
• 0:51
  99%
• 0:52
  of
• 0:52
  them,
• 0:52
  because
• 0:52
  I
• 0:52
  love
• 0:52
  him,
• 0:53
  they're
• 0:54
  going
• 0:54
  to
• 0:54
  call
• 0:54
  for
• 0:54
  the
• 0:54
  statue
• 0:55
  and
• 0:56
  he
• 0:56
  will
• 0:56
  go
• 0:57
  down
• 0:57
  probably
• 0:57
  as
• 0:58
  Crystal
• 0:58
  Palace's
• 0:59
  greatest
• 0:59
  manager
• 1:00
  so
• 1:00
  far.
• 1:03
  Not
• 1:03
  sure
• 1:03
  if
• 1:03
  he's
• 1:04
  still
• 1:04
  tactically
• 1:05
  the
• 1:05
  best
• 1:05
  manager
• 1:06
  we've
• 1:06
  ever
• 1:06
  had.
• 1:07
  I
• 1:07
  think
• 1:07
  we've
• 1:07
  had
• 1:08
  some
• 1:08
  very
• 1:08
  good
• 1:08
  managers.
• 1:10
  Terry
• 1:10
  Venables,
• 1:11
  obviously,
• 1:12
  Stevie
• 1:13
  Copple,
• 1:13
  but
• 1:14
  Stevie
• 1:14
  Copple,
• 1:16
  he
• 1:16
  sort
• 1:16
  of
• 1:17
  played
• 1:17
  a
• 1:17
  style
• 1:18
  of
• 1:18
  football
• 1:18
  which
• 1:18
  wasn't
• 1:19
  a
• 1:19
  purist,
• 1:20
  whereas
• 1:20
  maybe
• 1:20
  Venables
• 1:22
  was
• 1:22
  and
• 1:23
  Glasner's,
• 1:24
  again,
• 1:25
  probably
• 1:25
  not.
• 1:26
  Gladness
• 1:27
  got
• 1:27
  a
• 1:27
  team
• 1:28
  there
• 1:29
  or
• 1:29
  is
• 1:29
  leaving
• 1:30
  the
• 1:30
  team
• 1:30
  behind,
• 1:31
  which
• 1:31
  is
• 1:32
  very
• 1:32
  good
• 1:32
  at
• 1:32
  playing
• 1:33
  without
• 1:34
  the
• 1:34
  ball.
• 1:35
  And
• 1:35
  when
• 1:35
  they
• 1:35
  get
• 1:36
  the
• 1:36
  ball,
• 1:36
  they
• 1:37
  break
• 1:38
  very,
• 1:38
  very
• 1:38
  quickly.
• 1:40
  And
• 1:40
  that's
• 1:40
  where
• 1:41
  we've
• 1:41
  got
• 1:41
  our
• 1:41
  success
• 1:42
  from.
• 1:42
  So,
• 1:43
  yeah,
• 1:44
  a
• 1:44
  great
• 1:44
  night
• 1:45
  for
• 1:45
  Crystal
• 1:45
  Palace
• 1:45
  Football
• 1:46
  Club.
• 1:46
  A
• 1:46
  great
• 1:46
  season.
• 1:48
  Three
• 1:48
  trophies,
• 1:49
  FA
• 1:49
  Cup,
• 1:50
  Community
• 1:50
  Shield
• 1:50
  and
• 1:52
  European
• 1:52
  Conference
• 1:53
  League.
• 1:53
  And
• 1:54
  yeah,
• 1:55
  I
• 1:55
  guess
• 1:55
  even
• 1:56
  though
• 1:56
  we
• 1:56
  finished
• 1:57
  solo
• 1:57
  in
• 1:57
  the
• 1:57
  league,
• 1:58
  which
• 1:58
  was
• 1:59
  be
• 1:59
  expected
• 2:00
  in
• 2:02
  with
• 2:02
  our
• 2:02
  squad,
• 2:04
  I
• 2:04
  guess
• 2:04
  a
• 2:05
  successful
• 2:05
  year.
• 2:06
  Looking
• 2:07
  forward
• 2:07
  to
• 2:07
  next
• 2:07
  year.
• 2:08
  Looks
• 2:09
  like
• 2:09
  Areola
• 2:10
  is
• 2:10
  going
• 2:10
  to
• 2:10
  go
• 2:11
  to
• 2:11
  Liverpool.
• 2:13
  You
• 2:13
  never
• 2:13
  know.
• 2:13
  But
• 2:14
  Liverpool
• 2:15
  or
• 2:15
  Palace,
• 2:16
  I
• 2:16
  think
• 2:16
  you'll
• 2:16
  probably
• 2:16
  pick
• 2:17
  Liverpool
• 2:18
  and.
• 2:18
  And
• 2:19
  we'll
• 2:19
  be
• 2:19
  in
• 2:19
  the
• 2:19
  market
• 2:19
  again
• 2:20
  for
• 2:20
  another
• 2:20
  manager.
• 2:21
  Let's
• 2:22
  see
• 2:22
  who
• 2:22
  we
• 2:22
  get,
• 2:23
  let's
• 2:23
  see
• 2:23
  who
• 2:23
  we
• 2:24
  keep
• 2:25
  and
• 2:26
  hopefully
• 2:26
  we'll
• 2:27
  build
• 2:27
  on
• 2:28
  this
• 2:28
  season's
• 2:29
  success.
• 2:30
  I'm
• 2:30
  looking
• 2:31
  forward
• 2:31
  to
• 2:32
  the
• 2:33
  summer
• 2:34
  and
• 2:35
  the
• 2:35
  World
• 2:35
  Cup.
• 2:37
  I've
• 2:37
  got
• 2:37
  some
• 2:38
  very
• 2:38
  special
• 2:39
  Crystal
• 2:40
  palace
• 2:40
  guests
• 2:41
  coming
• 2:41
  on
• 2:41
  over
• 2:41
  the
• 2:41
  summer
• 2:42
  and
• 2:42
  into
• 2:42
  the
• 2:42
  World
• 2:43
  Cup.
• 2:44
  Terry
• 2:45
  Fenic
• 2:46
  will
• 2:46
  be
• 2:46
  one
• 2:46
  of
• 2:46
  my
• 2:47
  guests
• 2:47
  and
• 2:47
  I'll
• 2:48
  be
• 2:48
  releasing
• 2:48
  the
• 2:49
  Terry
• 2:49
  Fenic
• 2:50
  podcast
• 2:51
  on
• 2:51
  the
• 2:52
  anniversary,
• 2:52
  the
• 2:53
  40th
• 2:53
  anniversary
• 2:54
  of
• 2:54
  England
• 2:55
  v
• 2:55
  Argentina,
• 2:56
  which
• 2:56
  Terry
• 2:57
  played
• 2:57
  in
• 2:58
  with
• 2:58
  the
• 2:58
  Maradona
• 2:59
  Hand
• 2:59
  of
• 2:59
  God
• 2:59
  goal.
• 3:00
  They
• 3:00
  don't
• 3:00
  want
• 3:01
  anybody
• 3:01
  in
• 3:01
  there
• 3:01
  that'll
• 3:02
  ruffle
• 3:02
  a
• 3:02
  few
• 3:02
  feathers.
• 3:03
  But
• 3:04
  we've
• 3:04
  now
• 3:04
  got
• 3:04
  Thomas
• 3:05
  Turle,
• 3:06
  right?
• 3:06
  Not
• 3:06
  an
• 3:07
  Englishman,
• 3:07
  no,
• 3:07
  but
• 3:08
  he's
• 3:08
  roughing
• 3:08
  people
• 3:08
  up
• 3:09
  to
• 3:09
  get
• 3:09
  the
• 3:09
  results
• 3:10
  that
• 3:10
  he
• 3:10
  wants.
• 3:11
  And
• 3:11
  I
• 3:11
  look
• 3:12
  at
• 3:12
  our
• 3:12
  team,
• 3:13
  our
• 3:13
  players
• 3:14
  and
• 3:14
  I
• 3:15
  think
• 3:15
  we've
• 3:15
  got
• 3:16
  for
• 3:16
  every
• 3:16
  position.
• 3:17
  Now
• 3:17
  we're
• 3:17
  covered.
• 3:18
  Now
• 3:19
  we
• 3:19
  need
• 3:19
  that
• 3:19
  little
• 3:20
  bit
• 3:20
  of
• 3:20
  luck.
• 3:20
  Of
• 3:21
  course
• 3:21
  we
• 3:21
  do.
• 3:23
  Spain
• 3:23
  top
• 3:24
  the
• 3:24
  list.
• 3:25
  France
• 3:25
  second.
• 3:26
  England
• 3:26
  ranked
• 3:27
  third.
• 3:28
  Argentina
• 3:29
  fourth.
• 3:30
  Brazil
• 3:30
  fifth.
• 3:32
  To
• 3:32
  win
• 3:32
  this,
• 3:33
  I
• 3:33
  think
• 3:33
  this
• 3:34
  could
• 3:34
  be
• 3:34
  us.
• 3:35
  Our
• 3:35
  turn.
• 3:36
  England
• 3:36
  coming
• 3:37
  again.
• 3:38
  Come
• 3:38
  on.
• 3:39
  3.
• 3:41
  Barry
• 3:42
  Siltman
• 3:42
  to
• 3:42
  be
• 3:42
  on.
• 3:44
  Stevie
• 3:44
  Lovell,
• 3:46
  Rashid
• 3:47
  Harku.
• 3:48
  We'll
• 3:48
  go
• 3:48
  back
• 3:48
  and
• 3:49
  revisit
• 3:49
  Peter
• 3:49
  Nicholas
• 3:50
  and
• 3:51
  lots
• 3:52
  and
• 3:52
  lots
• 3:52
  of
• 3:53
  very
• 3:53
  special
• 3:54
  guests
• 3:54
  coming
• 3:54
  on
• 3:55
  over
• 3:55
  the
• 3:56
  summer
• 3:57
  season
• 3:57
  which
• 3:57
  will
• 3:58
  take
• 3:58
  us
• 3:58
  in
• 3:58
  back
• 3:59
  to
• 3:59
  the
• 3:59
  domestic
• 4:01
  league
• 4:01
  and
• 4:02
  next
• 4:02
  year.
• 4:04
  Let
• 4:04
  me
• 4:04
  know
• 4:06
  what
• 4:06
  type
• 4:07
  of
• 4:07
  guests
• 4:08
  you'd
• 4:08
  like
• 4:08
  me
• 4:08
  to
• 4:09
  interview.
• 4:11
  My
• 4:11
  aim
• 4:11
  is
• 4:11
  to
• 4:12
  interview
• 4:12
  all
• 4:12
  the
• 4:13
  lads
• 4:13
  from
• 4:14
  team
• 4:14
  of
• 4:14
  the
• 4:14
  80s.
• 4:15
  Vince
• 4:16
  is
• 4:16
  meant
• 4:16
  to
• 4:16
  be
• 4:17
  coming
• 4:17
  on
• 4:17
  soon.
• 4:18
  Vince
• 4:18
  has
• 4:18
  been
• 4:18
  very
• 4:18
  busy,
• 4:19
  he's
• 4:19
  been
• 4:19
  hard
• 4:19
  to
• 4:19
  get
• 4:20
  hold
• 4:20
  of
• 4:21
  but
• 4:21
  we'll
• 4:21
  get
• 4:22
  him
• 4:22
  on.
• 4:22
  And
• 4:24
  pal
• 4:24
  of
• 4:24
  mine
• 4:24
  today
• 4:25
  reached
• 4:25
  out
• 4:25
  and
• 4:26
  line
• 4:26
  me
• 4:26
  up
• 4:27
  with
• 4:27
  Billy
• 4:27
  Gilbert
• 4:27
  which
• 4:27
  would
• 4:28
  be
• 4:28
  fantastic.
• 4:28
  Love
• 4:29
  Billy.
• 4:29
  Billy
• 4:30
  for
• 4:30
  me
• 4:30
  was
• 4:31
  similar
• 4:31
  to
• 4:31
  Rashid
• 4:32
  Harkuk
• 4:33
  in
• 4:33
  the
• 4:33
  fact
• 4:33
  that
• 4:33
  he
• 4:33
  was
• 4:33
  a
• 4:33
  bit
• 4:34
  of
• 4:34
  a
• 4:34
  cult
• 4:34
  player
• 4:34
  for
• 4:34
  Palace.
• 4:36
  A
• 4:36
  non
• 4:37
  compromising
• 4:38
  center
• 4:38
  off
• 4:39
  who
• 4:40
  he
• 4:40
  had
• 4:40
  a
• 4:41
  really
• 4:41
  good
• 4:42
  career
• 4:42
  at
• 4:43
  palace
• 4:43
  and
• 4:43
  then
• 4:43
  went
• 4:43
  on
• 4:44
  to
• 4:44
  play
• 4:44
  for
• 4:44
  Portsmouth.
• 4:45
  And
• 4:46
  great
• 4:46
  lad
• 4:46
  Billy.
• 4:47
  Tough
• 4:47
  fella,
• 4:48
  tough
• 4:48
  character
