Speaker 1: Here's your host, Alex Garrett. Well, Oswalda Cabrera just hit
• 0:07
Speaker 1: a massive homer, and I remind you this homer in
• 0:11
Speaker 1: the first game of the doubleheader was his first home
• 0:13
Speaker 1: run since visiting Woodbridge Brewing and Gabby and I had
• 0:18
Speaker 1: the opportunity to visit with Oswaldo and Clark Schmidt and
• 0:22
Speaker 1: Jose Trevino and Luke Weaver and of course today celebrating
• 0:26
Speaker 1: his birthday Tommy Kinley, all on Monday night at Woodbridge.
• 0:30
Speaker 1: Thanks to Frank Luna for hooking us up to get
• 0:32
Speaker 1: to see all of them that night. But I want
• 0:38
Speaker 1: to play you a little bit of this Q and
• 0:40
Speaker 1: A that went on because thanks to follow Werren newly
• 0:45
Speaker 1: made friend from that Yankee event, Vanessa, she sent me
• 0:48
  Speaker 1: this audio clip.
• 0:52
Speaker 2: And my money for the game and the love I
• 0:57
Speaker 2: have for being the night of He is the team
• 0:59
Speaker 2: that got me working harder like every day, try to
• 1:03
Speaker 2: get better in each position and use getting my mind
• 1:07
Speaker 2: that I have to be ready for the moment that
• 1:09
Speaker 2: they need me. Just do my best, try to do
• 1:12
Speaker 2: my best and try to to help their team win.
• 1:18
Speaker 1: And there you go. Oswaldo Caverra on being that lineup
• 1:22
Speaker 1: every day, working his tail off to get in that
• 1:24
Speaker 1: lineup every day, and a lot of fans have been
• 1:26
Speaker 1: advocating for him to get more playing time because well,
• 1:29
Speaker 1: we see what happens when he does. He hit a
• 1:31
Speaker 1: homer against the Astros. He s hit Hober's, you know,
• 1:35
Speaker 1: seven of them this year, but the Astros homer was
• 1:37
Speaker 1: really a big one to start the season. And then
• 1:39
Speaker 1: today in the game win of the doubleheader, and now
• 1:43
Speaker 1: the Alex Garret Podcast new work has a very special
• 1:45
Speaker 1: opportunity to continue to work with Oswaldough if you will,
• 1:49
Speaker 1: and actually cover his upcoming baseball camp with Just in
• 1:55
Speaker 1: Time Baseball. So I'm asking you, you know, to venmo
• 2:00
Speaker 1: me if you wanted to for tips and if you
• 2:04
Speaker 1: like the content we're bringing you to support this podcast,
• 2:07
Speaker 1: Alex Garrett Podcast Network. But now it's an even bigger
• 2:11
Speaker 1: project that we are embarking on. And of course I
• 2:15
Speaker 1: would gladly take this out of my own pocket and
• 2:20
Speaker 1: become a sponsor of a kid to play in the camp.
• 2:23
Speaker 1: But I am asking if you'd want to donate at
• 2:28
Speaker 1: least one fifty The total cost to sponsor a kid
• 2:31
Speaker 1: for this network is going to be three hundred. But
• 2:33
Speaker 1: if you wanted to do at least one fifty, I
• 2:35
Speaker 1: would cover the rest. I just would love your support
• 2:39
Speaker 1: in helping supporting Justin Time Baseball the Oswaldo Caberra Baseball Camp,
• 2:44
Speaker 1: which by the way, will feature Jose Travino as well
• 2:47
Speaker 1: in New Rochelle. So I was sending a link to
• 2:49
Speaker 1: the justin Time Baseball camp flyer and I'll drop my
• 2:55
Speaker 1: Vemo link below in case you want to support this
• 2:58
Speaker 1: endeavor to sponsor a kid, to get to have them
• 3:01
Speaker 1: have the chance to play in this camp, to participate
• 3:05
Speaker 1: in this camp with Oswaldo Caberra. It's going to be
• 3:08
Speaker 1: a special opportunity in New Rochelle thanks to justin Time
• 3:11
Speaker 1: for including us in this and no matter what, we
• 3:14
Speaker 1: are going to get there. But if you wanted to
• 3:15
Speaker 1: help support and donate to this and then the proceeds,
• 3:20
Speaker 1: you know, if we if we get to the goal
• 3:23
Speaker 1: of at least one fifty, the proceeds would get to
• 3:30
Speaker 1: we'll go to justin Time. So any overhead, if you will,
• 3:33
Speaker 1: we'll get to justin Time Baseball. Ultimately, it's going to
• 3:39
Speaker 1: be three hundred to sponsor and help be a sponsor
• 3:42
Speaker 1: at this camp. And so if you wanted to pitch
• 3:45
Speaker 1: him with that as well. Would love that, and it
• 3:49
Speaker 1: just would be continuing the great work of Just In
• 3:51
Speaker 1: Time Baseball. And I'm so glad that Justin wants to
• 3:54
Speaker 1: include us in this and to be part of this.
• 3:57

• 4:03
Speaker 1: a kid pay it forward to them and to really
• 4:07
Speaker 1: get to play the game that we all have grown
• 4:10
Speaker 1: up and loved, by the way, for our entire lives. Right,
• 4:13
Speaker 1: That's basically what it's been. This podcast is about paying
• 4:16
Speaker 1: it forward. Well, now I'm willing to step up and
• 4:18
Speaker 1: pay it forward to the next generation. Maybe you'll join
