  Speaker 1: The Holy Spirit is in your life so that he

  Speaker 1: can reveal things unto you. He's not just there to

  Speaker 1: sit in your soul. He's there to reveal things, to

  Speaker 1: reveal the unveiling, the apocalypse, the unveiling, to show forth.

  Speaker 1: The apocalypse is to unveil. It means that a thing

  Speaker 1: is there, but it's covered up. So it's not that
• 1:08
  Speaker 1: the Holy Spirit creates it, it unveils it. He unveils

  Speaker 1: things that you didn't see. See, I could take a
• 1:17
  Speaker 1: Bible and cover it up and you wouldn't see it.

  Speaker 1: I didn't create it, but it's covered and you can't

  Speaker 1: see it. The moment I lift the cover, I unveil it.

  Speaker 1: It is apocalypse. I unveil it to you. God says,

  Speaker 1: there's some things I have in store for you right

  Speaker 1: around you that you cannot see. Your girlfriend cannot see.

  Speaker 1: Your husband cannot see. Your wife cannot see. Your children

  Speaker 1: cannot see. He said, but I'm going to reveal, I'm

  Speaker 1: going to unveil what is yours. That's shouting stuff right there.

  Speaker 1: You can be cute and crazy. You want to connect

  Speaker 1: with somebody through a revelation of the spirit that we

  Speaker 1: were meant to be together. This is important stuff. This

  Speaker 1: is stuff that scripture may not designate to you. See,

  Speaker 1: because we don't need the Holy Spirit to reveal what

  Speaker 1: the word has expressed. We need the Holy Spirit to

  Speaker 1: get down into the details of what is true for you.

  Speaker 1: There are no scriptures telling you who to marry or

  Speaker 1: where to live or what your gifts are. So you

  Speaker 1: can study the word until you turn blue in the face.

  Speaker 1: Until you hear the Holy Spirit, you won't have clear

  Speaker 1: direction as to the details and the demographics of what
• 2:58
  Speaker 1: God has designed for your life. And that's what the

  Speaker 1: Holy Spirit yearns for, to be able to have a
• 3:04
  Speaker 1: deeper communication unto you. But it had been revealed unto
• 3:07
  Speaker 1: us by Spirit. And then it gives you the integrity
• 3:11
  Speaker 1: of the Holy Spirit's revelation in the next line. It
• 3:14
  Speaker 1: says it's been revealed unto us by a spirit. And
• 3:17
  Speaker 1: then it says the spirit searcheth. All things, yea, the
• 3:22
  Speaker 1: deep things of God. It's like a search engine in
• 3:25
  Speaker 1: a computer that brings to the surface that particular information
• 3:29
  Speaker 1: that's cut to the continuity of your requests. That's the
• 3:32
  Speaker 1: way the Holy Spirit is. It searches all things. It
• 3:34
  Speaker 1: knows everything that's out there, everything, even the deep things
• 3:37
  Speaker 1: of God, and brings before you that that is yours.

  Speaker 1: Are y'all with me? Now, it says, for the Spirit's
• 3:46
  Speaker 1: search of all things, yea, the deep things of God.

  Speaker 1: I want to spend a minute there because I want
• 3:51
  Speaker 1: you to understand that the Holy Spirit is not just power.

  Speaker 1: It's not just power. It's not just energy. Like electricity

  Speaker 1: is power and it's energy, but it's not intelligence. You understand?

  Speaker 1: It runs the lights. It'll run an oven. It'll run
• 4:09
  Speaker 1: a microwave. That's power, but it can't think. When you

  Speaker 1: start talking about the Holy Spirit, the correct way to
• 4:16
  Speaker 1: refer to the Holy Spirit is a he, not a it. Okay?
• 4:20
  Speaker 1: The he of the Holy Spirit identifies that the Holy
• 4:24
  Speaker 1: Spirit is not just power, but is intelligence. See, wind
• 4:31
  Speaker 1: is power, but we don't worship wind. Waterfalls are power,
• 4:36
  Speaker 1: but we don't worship water. And this minute distinction between
• 4:41
  Speaker 1: phrases sets us apart from some other religions. Some other
• 4:47
  Speaker 1: ideas that reduce the definition of the Holy Spirit down
• 4:51
  Speaker 1: to energy or force. And if you read over it,
• 4:55
  Speaker 1: you won't even know that you've entered into error. You

  Speaker 1: won't even know it because you say, well, you shall
• 5:02
  Speaker 1: receive power after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you.

  Speaker 1: That's true. You shall receive power, but the Holy Ghost
• 5:07
  Speaker 1: is not power. He is more than power. He enables
• 5:10
  Speaker 1: you to receive power, but he is more than power.

  Speaker 1: What I'm trying to get you to hone in on
• 5:15
  Speaker 1: is that the Holy Spirit is a person. And as
• 5:18
  Speaker 1: a person, that's as close as we can get to
• 5:21
  Speaker 1: a term to describing the anthropomorphic realities of who God is,
• 5:25
  Speaker 1: which simply means that that's a human way of expressing
• 5:28
  Speaker 1: something that we don't have a word for it. So
• 5:31
  Speaker 1: we really, when you start getting to the Godhead, nobody's
• 5:35
  Speaker 1: going to master it because there's nothing to really compare
• 5:37
  Speaker 1: it to. And so you're really trying to understand that
• 5:41
  Speaker 1: the Holy Spirit is a he, not an it. And
• 5:44
  Speaker 1: being a he means he has a personality. So you
• 5:47
  Speaker 1: can grieve the Holy Spirit. See, you can't grieve energy.

  Speaker 1: But the Bible says, do not grieve the Holy Spirit
• 5:54
  Speaker 1: of God, whereby you have been sealed unto the day
• 5:56
  Speaker 1: of redemption. You can't grieve him because he has a personality.

  Speaker 1: And with that personality, he has intelligence. Somebody say intelligence.

  Speaker 1: So tonight, that's really what we're going to focus on.

  Speaker 1: The Holy Spirit is our central intelligent agent. He is
• 6:13
  Speaker 1: our central intelligence agent. He is our CIA. He releases
• 6:20
  Speaker 1: information that you could not access otherwise. Intelligence is different
• 6:25
  Speaker 1: from education. I have seen people that were educated and
• 6:30
  Speaker 1: not intelligent. And I've seen people that were intelligent and
• 6:34
  Speaker 1: not educated. Intelligence, dealing with aptitude, the ability, the intelligence
• 6:42
  Speaker 1: of the Holy Spirit. If we don't lay this foundation,
• 6:47
  Speaker 1: you won't respect the Holy Spirit and you will override
• 6:50
  Speaker 1: its advice for your own. You will dare to think
• 6:55
  Speaker 1: that you are smarter than the Holy Spirit. You will
• 6:59
  Speaker 1: override the warnings of the Holy Spirit and the dictates
• 7:02
  Speaker 1: of the Holy Spirit and take your advice over his
• 7:05
  Speaker 1: advice and then wonder why it doesn't work out. The
• 7:07
  Speaker 1: Bible says the Holy Spirit has such intelligence that it
• 7:11
  Speaker 1: searches all things. Yea, even the deep things of God.
• 7:15
  Speaker 1: It knows everything. It knows everything. Where we get the
• 7:18
  Speaker 1: word omniscience, omniscience, omni-science, all-knowing. That the Holy Spirit is all-knowing.

  Speaker 1: He knows the end from the beginning. You're making decisions
• 7:29
  Speaker 1: based on the past and the present. But the Holy
• 7:31
  Speaker 1: Spirit makes decisions knowing the past, the present, and the future.
• 7:37
  Speaker 1: How could you ignore access to such divine supernatural information?
• 7:43
  Speaker 1: The Holy Spirit knows how things are going to turn out.
• 7:46
  Speaker 1: It knows whether this is going to work for you
• 7:47
  Speaker 1: 20 years from now. It knows exactly where you came
• 7:51
  Speaker 1: from and what your background is and what is needed
• 7:53
  Speaker 1: in order to bring you out. So you cannot, and
• 7:56
  Speaker 1: this is a decision you make every day, whether you
• 8:00
  Speaker 1: will accept his wisdom over your own. Amen. That's the
• 8:07
  Speaker 1: decision you make every day of your life. And how
• 8:09
  Speaker 1: you make that decision has a lot to do with
• 8:12
  Speaker 1: what you have done with your life. Your life is
• 8:17
  Speaker 1: a direct reflection of whose voice you listen to.
• 8:20
  Speaker 3: Amen.

  Speaker 1: Just think about it in the natural. I can take
• 8:28
  Speaker 1: somebody whose life was going downhill and put them around
• 8:32
  Speaker 1: somebody who begins to infuse them with intelligence and wisdom
• 8:37
  Speaker 1: and direction. And the person who was going downhill will
• 8:40
  Speaker 1: start going up. You are the sum total of the
• 8:44
  Speaker 1: voices you listen to. That's why you got to be
• 8:47
  Speaker 1: careful who you run with, who you hang with, who
• 8:49
  Speaker 1: you talk on the phone with, who you listen to,
• 8:52
  Speaker 1: who you interact with, who you go to in trouble.
• 8:55
  Speaker 1: Because let me tell you something. Anytime somebody has your ear,
• 8:58
  Speaker 1: they influence you. They really do influence you. I travel
• 9:08
  Speaker 1: a lot with the same guys. We go everywhere. Same guys.
• 9:11
  Speaker 1: We go everywhere. And all of the guys have their
• 9:16
  Speaker 1: own expressions. And do you not know just by hearing
• 9:19
  Speaker 1: them use certain expressions, I'll look around and I will
• 9:22
  Speaker 1: be saying some of that crazy stuff. And I say,
• 9:24
  Speaker 1: that's not what you say. But if I'm around it,
• 9:28
  Speaker 1: the influence, they influence you with their intelligence until you
• 9:34
  Speaker 1: adopt their language pattern. That's why you speak English. You
• 9:38
  Speaker 1: didn't have to take an English class. You just exposed
• 9:41
  Speaker 1: yourself to people who spoke English and you started expressing
• 9:45
  Speaker 1: abstract ideas in English language because you were in a
• 9:48
  Speaker 1: house with people who expressed abstract ideas in English language.
• 9:53
  Speaker 1: If we took you as a baby and put you
• 9:55
  Speaker 1: in a Latino home where they were speaking Spanish, you
• 9:57
  Speaker 1: wouldn't need a Spanish class. We're all expressing love or
• 10:02
  Speaker 1: anger or hunger, but we use the tools of language
• 10:05
  Speaker 1: to communicate the same ideologies. So if you can understand
• 10:10
  Speaker 1: the influence of that intelligence on your thought pattern and
• 10:13
  Speaker 1: without ever taking an English class, you just came here
• 10:16
  Speaker 1: at three and four and five years old just speaking
• 10:18
  Speaker 1: English so good. Who else is influencing you? And how
• 10:25
  Speaker 1: much have you picked up from listening at the wrong voice?
• 10:29

  Speaker 1: I'm not listening to what the Holy Spirit is saying.

  Speaker 4: Have you ever wanted to discover the difference between God's

  Speaker 1: The Holy Spirit makes decisions going to the past, the present,

  Speaker 1: and the future. Your life is a direct reflection of

  Speaker 1: the people who have been in church for years and

  Speaker 1: years and years have never even had a conversation, been

  Speaker 1: taught about how to listen to the Holy Spirit. I
• 12:18
  Speaker 1: bet you they don't know it. I bet you they
• 12:20
  Speaker 1: don't live in an atmosphere where they have take the
• 12:24
  Speaker 1: time to know when you got it right. You understand
• 12:30
  Speaker 1: what I'm saying? Sometimes it'll be a certain song that
• 12:34
  Speaker 1: gets sung. And it's something that the Holy Spirit wants
• 12:36
  Speaker 1: sung in the service. And when you get it right,
• 12:38
  Speaker 1: the Holy Spirit takes over the room. Not only do
• 12:40
  Speaker 1: you need to be blessed in that moment, but you
• 12:43
  Speaker 1: need to note that moment and begin to understand that feeling,
• 12:46
  Speaker 1: that voice, that sensation was the Holy Spirit so that
• 12:51
  Speaker 1: you can get where you know his voice and know
• 12:53
  Speaker 1: what he wants at any given time.

  Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.

  Speaker 1: One of the greatest enemies to really knowing and hearing

  Speaker 1: the voice of the Holy Spirit is busyness. When your

  Speaker 1: life is full of clutter and busyness and stress, it

  Speaker 1: is hard to hear his voice in a storm. You
• 13:19
  Speaker 1: need a calm place. The Bible said, be still and know.
• 13:24
  Speaker 1: Be still and know that I am God. So when

  Speaker 1: you're trying to figure out what is the will of God,

  Speaker 1: you're just frowning, you're just falling apart. Shut up. You'll
• 13:32
  Speaker 1: never get a clear understanding of his voice in confusion.

  Speaker 1: Just be still. That's why the enemy sends confusion. So

  Speaker 1: that you'll be in turmoil. God is not the author

  Speaker 1: of confusion. The enemy sends confusion so that you won't
• 13:46
  Speaker 1: have clear direction. One of my favorite scriptures, in quietness

  Speaker 1: and in confidence shall be your strength. If you would

  Speaker 1: study to be quiet. I'm just not a quiet person.

  Speaker 1: Study it. If you're writing notes, study to shut up. Yeah.

  Speaker 1: knows the man. So you're getting divine intelligence, secret, credible

  Speaker 1: My purpose. How in the world can you be happy

  Speaker 1: if you don't know your purpose? How can you applaud yourself,

  Speaker 1: reward yourself, have the feeling of satiety, of confidence if

  Speaker 1: did good and when you did bad. So now you're

  Speaker 1: depending on other people to clap for you to make

  Speaker 1: you feel good about yourself because you are basing the

  Speaker 1: feeling of satiety on their reaction because you have no

  Speaker 1: compass and you have no purpose. Amen. The Holy Spirit

  Speaker 1: knows what is your purpose. That ought to be goal

  Speaker 1: number one. Frankly, I don't pray much about which suit

  Speaker 1: to buy because I really don't think God cares. You know,

  Speaker 1: if you want it and you can afford it, buy it.

  Speaker 1: I don't go into a trance and a coma about that.

  Speaker 1: If I want a blue house and not a green house,

  Speaker 1: I don't go on a pass to find out stuff

  Speaker 1: like that. I'm seeking the Holy Spirit to know purpose

  Speaker 1: for my life. What is the will of God for

  Speaker 1: my life? What should I be doing at this season

  Speaker 1: in my life? Because just because God told you to

  Speaker 1: do something when you're 20 doesn't mean that he wants

  Speaker 1: you to do it when you're 50. Yeah. Give us

  Speaker 1: this day our daily bread. I need a daily ongoing

  Speaker 1: relationship with God so I can know exactly what he

  Speaker 1: wants me to do right now. I got all kinds

  Speaker 1: of voices trying to influence me every day. But when

  Speaker 1: the rubber meets the road, what makes you a great

  Speaker 1: man or a great leader or a great person is

  Speaker 1: to be able to shut out the outside voices, turn

  Speaker 1: on the inner voices, and hear what the Spirit of

  Speaker 1: the Lord is saying to the church. Are you hearing

  Speaker 1: Spirit is saying and you get it wrong. Because people

  Speaker 1: mean even good, sweet, kind, soft-spoken people are manipulators. I

  Speaker 1: mean little three-year-olds are manipulators. Everybody who had a three-year-old

  Speaker 1: started laughing. Because them little nice little three-year-olds, the little
• 17:24
  Speaker 1: with the fine little dimples and cheeks, he is just
• 17:27
  Speaker 1: as sneaky as all get out. And they will manipulate you.

  Speaker 1: And if they don't get through to you, they will
• 17:32
  Speaker 1: go to your husband and manipulate him. They will work
• 17:37
  Speaker 1: one against the other at five. Mama don't care if
• 17:41
  Speaker 1: I go outside. They ain't me ass, mama. Where did
• 17:45
  Speaker 1: they get them sneaky classes from? They are manipulators by nature.

  Speaker 1: Now you know if a nice little five-year-old can be
• 17:52
  Speaker 1: a manipulator, you know a 25-year-old. So what happens when

  Speaker 1: your life is the end result of a series of
• 18:06
  Speaker 1: being influenced by manipulators? Verse 12. Now we have received
• 18:15
  Speaker 1: not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which
• 18:18
  Speaker 1: is of God, that we might know the things which

  Speaker 1: are freely given to us of God. That's what we
• 18:23
  Speaker 1: want to know. That's what I want to know. What

  Speaker 1: are the things that are freely given to us of God?

  Speaker 1: What did you give me? What have you purposed for me?

  Speaker 1: What can I do? What can I be? Lord, don't

  Speaker 1: let me spend 20 years trying to be something that

  Speaker 1: I wasn't supposed to be. Don't let me work my

  Speaker 1: hind end off trying to shape myself into something that

  Speaker 1: you never wanted me to be in the first place.

  Speaker 1: Teach me to be appreciative and celebrate who I am.

  Speaker 1: Because I'm getting older. I don't have time to spend

  Speaker 1: the rest of my life running around trying to turn

  Speaker 1: into something that I am not so that you will

  Speaker 1: like me better. I'm too old for that. Go ahead

  Speaker 1: and dislike me. I would rather be out of favor

  Speaker 1: with you and in favor with God. I want to
