- 2:05Speaker 2: Of course, we have a lot going on.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Of course.
- 2:07Speaker 2: You see the flyer right here to my left, maybe
- 2:12Speaker 2: to your right. But it is about the winter writer's
- 2:16Speaker 2: retreat that's going to be held here in the Atlanta area.
- 2:20Speaker 2: The location will be announced closer to the event. We're
- 2:25Speaker 2: going to be hosting a writer's retreat. We have seven
- 2:30Speaker 2: spots available for that person. Those people that want to
- 2:34Speaker 2: be on the property, we're going to be reserving the airbnb,
- 2:39Speaker 2: So it's going to be an opportunity for seven individuals
- 2:41Speaker 2: to be right there on the property, and then we're
- 2:44Speaker 2: going to be able to at least thirteen additional people
- 2:48Speaker 2: that just want to come in and just be a
- 2:50Speaker 2: part of the writing retreat. We're going to help you
- 2:55Speaker 2: publish your book. That is our whole idea in that
- 2:58Speaker 2: weekends and you walk away that you walk away as
- 3:02Speaker 2: a published author, whether you're in someone else collaboration project,
- 3:07Speaker 2: or if you've decided to do your own book. We're
- 3:10Speaker 2: gonna walk you through publishing a book start to finish.
- 3:13Speaker 2: You're gonna be able to ask all those questions that
- 3:16Speaker 2: you may have. Also, if you're not familiar with the
- 3:22Speaker 2: book that I have out, it is a book that
- 3:25Speaker 2: will help you write a book in ninety days. It
- 3:29Speaker 2: walks you start to finish. It's also a journal you
- 3:33Speaker 2: can write down notes and keep notes within that book.
- 3:39Speaker 2: We're also going to have those books available for all
- 3:42Speaker 2: of those that sign up for the retreat. Again, it's
- 3:47Speaker 2: gonna be the seventeenth of the nineteenth. It's only three
- 3:49Speaker 2: days Friday, we're gonna meet. We're gonna have a power
- 3:54Speaker 2: meet and greet, we're gonna have some others, and then
- 3:57Speaker 2: we're gonna jump right into the writing process. And then
- 4:00Speaker 2: that Saturday, we're gonna be writing all day. We're really
- 4:04Speaker 2: gonna be in to it. So again, if you are
- 4:08Speaker 2: interested in being a part of the Winter Writers Retreat,
- 4:13Speaker 2: reach out all of the information we have a I
- 4:17Speaker 2: think there is a jot form, maybe a jot form
- 4:20Speaker 2: or a Google document floating around, but I will definitely
- 4:25Speaker 2: if you reach out to me, I will definitely get
- 4:27Speaker 2: the information to you because we definitely would love for
- 4:30Speaker 2: you to be.
- 4:31Speaker 1: A part of what we got going on. Y'all.
- 4:35Speaker 2: We got a lot going on, a lot coming up
- 4:38Speaker 2: for twenty twenty five. I'm excited. I have an opportunity
- 4:43Speaker 2: to work with some amazing up and coming authors that
- 4:47Speaker 2: are on the rise. If you have not had an
- 4:50Speaker 2: opportunity to get connected to the one hundred authors on
- 4:55Speaker 2: the Move, I want to encourage you to get connected.
- 4:58Speaker 2: It is an amazing opportunity to connect with ninety nine
- 5:03Speaker 2: other individuals like yourself, like minded individuals that are striving
- 5:09Speaker 2: either they are aspiring to be an author, or they
- 5:11Speaker 2: have already published books and they're just looking to take
- 5:15Speaker 2: their authorship to the next level. This is an opportunity
- 5:18Speaker 2: for you, y'all. It's not a contest, it's not a competition.
- 5:22Speaker 2: It is an opportunity to collaborate. It's an opportunity to
- 5:26Speaker 2: gain exposure. I'm not charging you for all these different
- 5:31Speaker 2: things to be a part of it. I want to
- 5:33Speaker 2: show you how you can utilize some of these free
- 5:36Speaker 2: offers to boost your brand, to take your brand to
- 5:40Speaker 2: the next level until you are able to afford those
- 5:44Speaker 2: two hundred dollars plans and those three hundred dollars plans
- 5:48Speaker 2: that are great plans that will help boost your brand
- 5:51Speaker 2: and take your brand to the next level. But everybody
- 5:53Speaker 2: don't have that to kick out all at one time.
- 5:56Speaker 2: So what I'm trying to do is trying to show
- 5:58Speaker 2: you how you can utilize those free platforms work them
- 6:04Speaker 2: as what you know. You have to put in the work.
- 6:06Speaker 2: That's one thing that we got to understand. See a
- 6:09Speaker 2: lot of us what we have done, We have published books,
- 6:13Speaker 2: we have done all these great things, and then we
- 6:15Speaker 2: just set it to the side and we think that now,
- 6:18Speaker 2: oh that it's published or it's out there that it's
- 6:20Speaker 2: supposed to just make this magic happen. No, you have
- 6:24Speaker 2: to be visible. You have to build relationships. You have
- 6:28Speaker 2: to allow people to get.
- 6:30Speaker 1: To know you.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Like I'm telling you, and it's nothing that's made up.
- 6:34Speaker 2: This is something that I have experienced on this journey.
- 6:38Speaker 2: I've had individuals tell me that if I printed a
- 6:43Speaker 2: blank book, they would buy it. And it wasn't that
- 6:46Speaker 2: they would bind it because of the product. They was
- 6:49Speaker 2: buying it because I did it, and they believed in
- 6:53Speaker 2: what I did. And that's the type of repport that
- 6:57Speaker 2: we all should be building. We should be building rapport
- 7:02Speaker 2: with all of those that support us. You may not
- 7:05Speaker 2: have the followship yet, what are you doing to get people.
- 7:10Speaker 1: To follow you? Or are you going live? Are you posting?
- 7:15Speaker 2: You know, there's so many things out there now where
- 7:18Speaker 2: you can set up your post. You don't have to
- 7:21Speaker 2: be literally right there posting. You can set aside one day,
- 7:26Speaker 2: set aside one day to say I'm gonna work on
- 7:28Speaker 2: content for my brand, and set that day and set
- 7:33Speaker 2: your a calendar, set you a to do this, set
- 7:35Speaker 2: you something that you can check off and say, Okay,
- 7:39Speaker 2: I accomplish this. If you got to put it on
- 7:42Speaker 2: a time schedule, say oh, I'm gonna work on Facebook
- 7:44Speaker 2: for an hour, I'm gonna work on TikTok for an hour,
- 7:47Speaker 2: I'm gonna work on Instagram for an hour, and then
- 7:49Speaker 2: you go through and you work everything accordingly. You have
- 7:55Speaker 2: to be intentional and twenty twenty five, that word intention
- 7:59Speaker 2: was just dropping my spirit this morning, after we come
- 8:01Speaker 2: out of prayer and just being intentional and being about
- 8:06Speaker 2: those things that we have been called to do. Like
- 8:11Speaker 2: if you know that you've been called to do this,
- 8:13Speaker 2: if you know that you are supposed to be a
- 8:17Speaker 2: book reviewer, and I'm gonna say that because Patrise is
- 8:19Speaker 2: on here, you know that you are called to be
- 8:22Speaker 2: a book review and you know that you are great
- 8:24Speaker 2: at what you do. Look, I've been I'm working trying
- 8:29Speaker 2: to get some people to join Patrice because Patrice has
- 8:32Speaker 2: been doing this for a minute, and I'm just gonna
- 8:34Speaker 2: I'm just gonna put her own blast this morning, because
- 8:37Speaker 2: she is amazing at what she does and she when
- 8:42Speaker 2: we first started, she had some amazing people working with her.
- 8:45Speaker 2: And it's just like everybody's just started phasing off. Everybody
- 8:48Speaker 2: started dropping off. You know, we get about our own agendas,
- 8:52Speaker 2: and we get about our own thing, and we for
- 8:55Speaker 2: we forget about the bigger picture. But I tell you,
- 8:58Speaker 2: Patrice alone, by herself, has truly developed the book section,
- 9:05Speaker 2: the author section of the magazine. Every month, I can
- 9:09Speaker 2: tell you she's gonna have some quality content inside of
- 9:13Speaker 2: the magazine. And not only that, she provides some quality reviews.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Not always reviews that you may want to hear, but
- 9:24Speaker 2: it's reviews that will help you if you take if
- 9:26Speaker 2: you take the criticism, if you take what she gives
- 9:30Speaker 2: you and you utilize it, you can help take your
- 9:35Speaker 2: next book, or even if you decide to rewrite that
- 9:38Speaker 2: book or even make an extension to it, because you
- 9:41Speaker 2: can add on to the book that you already have
- 9:46Speaker 2: and make it something else, or you can do an
- 9:48Speaker 2: extension to it. Y'all, it's so many opportunities out here
- 9:52Speaker 2: to expand your brand. Like, we can't sit and wait
- 9:56Speaker 2: and think that our brand is going to expand or
- 10:00Speaker 2: people are going to get involved in the things that
- 10:01Speaker 2: we're doing.
- 10:02Speaker 1: No, they're not.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Do you know how many people tell me no every day?
- 10:07Speaker 2: But it does not stop me from doing what I do.
- 10:11Speaker 2: Like if I had waited for people to jump on
- 10:17Speaker 2: board and to be a part of a lot of
- 10:20Speaker 2: the things that I have done. I wouldn't have never
- 10:22Speaker 2: done it. I would have been still waiting for people
- 10:24Speaker 2: to get involved. I was in a community where there
- 10:29Speaker 2: were no representation, no representation, and we needed it, and
- 10:35Speaker 2: I just began, Me and my partner at that time,
- 10:39Speaker 2: we just began to do things within the community, work
- 10:42Speaker 2: with our youth, and then we poured into our elderly.
- 10:46Speaker 2: We got involved in our own local churches, and then
- 10:50Speaker 2: we got involved in the community. There were plenty of
- 10:53Speaker 2: times that we would go sit at the city hall
- 10:56Speaker 2: meetings and at the county meetings and at these different boards,
- 11:01Speaker 2: and we would be the only specs in the room
- 11:04Speaker 2: outside of maybe the speakers. And then I realized that
- 11:10Speaker 2: if this is happening, if this is happening right here
- 11:13Speaker 2: in my small town, just imagine where else this is
- 11:16Speaker 2: happening at. And then you begin to hear all these
- 11:19Speaker 2: different stories, You begin to hear all these different things.
- 11:22Speaker 2: You know, I never thought that in a million years
- 11:25Speaker 2: that I would be doing a lot of the things
- 11:27Speaker 2: that I'm doing. Never thought that I would be the
- 11:30Speaker 2: author of one hundred and eighteen books, journals, planners who
- 11:37Speaker 2: little girl from levelland South Carolina. People say where is
- 11:40Speaker 2: leveland in between Antraville, And I mean in between what
- 11:45Speaker 2: Interville and Dost and in between Abbeville and Anderson.
- 11:50Speaker 1: That's where I am.
- 11:52Speaker 2: And when I tell you, I get excited every time
- 11:57Speaker 2: I get to come on here and get to share,
- 12:01Speaker 2: get to talk about some of the things that we're doing,
- 12:04Speaker 2: get to invite you into our circle, into our world.
- 12:08Speaker 1: You see the Crew.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Podcast, They of course sponsor most everything that comes across
- 12:15Speaker 2: the screen. If you see some of the flyers in
- 12:19Speaker 2: the bottom. We have some things going on. We right
- 12:22Speaker 2: now have the Poet of the Year contest going on.
- 12:26Speaker 2: Poet for twenty twenty five. We're voting right now. So
- 12:32Speaker 2: if you are a poet and you're looking to expand
- 12:35Speaker 2: your brand, you're looking to get some exposure for your brand,
- 12:38Speaker 2: you're looking to get out there. This is a great
- 12:40Speaker 2: opportunity for you to get out there. You get to
- 12:43Speaker 2: connect with other poets. Not only that, you're gonna have
- 12:47Speaker 2: an amazing opportunity. Whoever wins this position, they're gonna have
- 12:52Speaker 2: an amazing opportunity to allow their voice to speak. Of course,
- 12:57Speaker 2: you will be writing for the magazine, you'll have section
- 13:00Speaker 2: that you'll be able to write for every month. You'll
- 13:03Speaker 2: be able to showcase your poetry, other poets, anything around poetry,
- 13:08Speaker 2: history of poetry, whatever it is that you want people
- 13:11Speaker 2: to know about poetry. Also, you will be able to
- 13:16Speaker 2: host a poetry awareness show on the Crew podcast every
- 13:22Speaker 2: fifth Monday. So there of course is four fifth Mondays
- 13:27Speaker 2: in twenty twenty five, so you're gonna have four shows
- 13:30Speaker 2: that you're gonna be able to come on and talk
- 13:33Speaker 2: about poetry and share poetry. If you want to have
- 13:37Speaker 2: a group of people on there, a group of poets
- 13:40Speaker 2: on there, or if you just want to come on
- 13:41Speaker 2: and spit some of your poetry. Whoever the winner is,
- 13:44Speaker 2: this is gonna be an opportunity for you. Then you're
- 13:46Speaker 2: also gonna be able to be featured on the magazine
- 13:50Speaker 2: as well, as there's gonna be two magazines. You have
- 13:53Speaker 2: the regular magazine, you'll be featured on the front cover
- 13:55Speaker 2: and you'll have a feature inside, and then we always
- 13:58Speaker 2: do a poetry adition of the magazine where we share
- 14:02Speaker 2: poets and we allow them to share a piece of
- 14:06Speaker 2: their poetry as well as how individuals can connect with them.
- 14:10Speaker 2: It's all about visibility. It's all about allowing individuals the
- 14:14Speaker 2: opportunity to get their brands out there and to be seen.
- 14:18Speaker 1: I'm excited because I'm.
- 14:20Speaker 2: Looking forward to meeting the rest of these I think
- 14:26Speaker 2: we need about eighty more authors. So if you know
- 14:28Speaker 2: an author, if you are an author, you're not signed
- 14:31Speaker 2: up to be a part of the one hundred authors,
- 14:33Speaker 2: to watch, this is a great opportunity for you.
- 14:37Speaker 1: You're gonna have.
- 14:38Speaker 2: An opportunity to be in a magazine. We're gonna have
- 14:41Speaker 2: a special addition of the magazine that's gonna feature the
- 14:45Speaker 2: one hundred authors only. Yes, it's gonna be a thick magazine, y'all,
- 14:49Speaker 2: and it's gonna be nice. But we're gonna have that.
- 14:54Speaker 2: We're gonna have an actual elive event in March and Charston,
- 15:00Speaker 2: North Carolina. I can't wait to get that solidified. But
- 15:05Speaker 2: we're gonna have an amazing live event where we're gonna
- 15:08Speaker 2: invite not just the one hundred authors out, but we're
- 15:12Speaker 2: gonna invite the poets out to the Poet of the
- 15:16Speaker 2: Year is gonna be presented on that day as we
- 15:20Speaker 2: move into April, because y'all know April is poetry Awareness month,
- 15:25Speaker 2: So of course we love to showcase poets, we love
- 15:29Speaker 2: to highlight them. That poetry edition is gonna be dropping
- 15:33Speaker 2: on April the first, when we make an announcement. Of course,
- 15:38Speaker 2: those that are at the actual event, they're actually gonna
- 15:42Speaker 2: know who the Poet of the Year is because we're
- 15:45Speaker 2: gonna announce it live at that event. We're not gonna
- 15:49Speaker 2: be streaming, so you have to be there to find out.
- 15:54Speaker 2: And then we're gonna make an official announcement on April
- 15:58Speaker 2: the first, when the magazine drop. We're gonna make that
- 16:02Speaker 2: announcement with the magazine. Of course, they will be featured
- 16:04Speaker 2: on the front cover of the magazine. So y'all, I'm
- 16:06Speaker 2: just excited, and I want you if you know a poet,
- 16:09Speaker 2: tag a poet, tag them in this tag. If you
- 16:12Speaker 2: know somebody that wants to publish a book that's but
- 16:17Speaker 2: don't know what to do, invite them to come to
- 16:19Speaker 2: the retreat. It is a great opportunity three ninety seven.
- 16:24Speaker 2: You're gonna be able to stay there for from Friday
- 16:27Speaker 2: to Sunday. You're gonna be able to have whatever you
- 16:30Speaker 2: want to eat because with refrigerators are gonna be packed.
- 16:32Speaker 2: We're gonna cook. We're gonna have a bundance section. It's
- 16:36Speaker 2: gonna be a great opportunity for those that come, especially
- 16:40Speaker 2: those seven that stay there on the property. It's gonna
- 16:43Speaker 2: be an amazing opportunity to really connect to really explore
- 16:48Speaker 2: and talk about writing and just get those things out
- 16:52Speaker 2: that you want. You're gonna be able to all type
- 16:55Speaker 2: of questions. So this is going to be the opportunity.
- 16:57Speaker 2: So if you're out there and you want to be
- 17:01Speaker 2: a author in twenty twenty five, this is gonna be
- 17:05Speaker 2: your first opportunity.
- 17:06Speaker 1: We're gonna have a couple of these, because that's what
- 17:08Speaker 1: I'm doing.
- 17:08Speaker 2: In twenty twenty five, I said I wasn't gonna write
- 17:11Speaker 2: any books. I don't know how I'm gonna be able
- 17:15Speaker 2: to stick to that, because y'all, God has truly been
- 17:16Speaker 2: dropping stuff in me. Like I got a book out
- 17:19Speaker 2: right now. I don't know if I got the picture
- 17:22Speaker 2: up here. I'm gonna say if I got the picture
- 17:24Speaker 2: up here, so I can show it to y'all because
- 17:26Speaker 2: I want you to go over to Amazon. It is
- 17:28Speaker 2: free until Wednesday. Y'all can go over to Amazon, and
- 17:32Speaker 2: y'all can download the e copy of that book and
- 17:37Speaker 2: it is free. It is called Beyond Sight. It is
- 17:40Speaker 2: a thirty one day devotional affirmation. It has devotions, it
- 17:49Speaker 2: has affirmations, it has prayer, it has poetry, and it
- 17:56Speaker 2: has some nuggets. Y'all know, I'm always trying to drop
- 17:59Speaker 2: some nuggets, always something being dropped inside of those books.
- 18:04Speaker 2: But that book, I don't think I got it up here, y'all.
- 18:08Speaker 2: I got the other one. I didn't get that one
- 18:09Speaker 2: up here in time enough.
- 18:11Speaker 1: But y'all, I'm excited. I'm excited.
- 18:14Speaker 2: I'ma see if I can pull it up real quick
- 18:16Speaker 2: and get it up here for y'all. But go over
- 18:19Speaker 2: to Amazon, if y'all would. It's kyll Beyond Sight and
- 18:23Speaker 2: it is free until Wednesday. Y'all help me become another
- 18:27Speaker 2: a number one best selling author again. Y'all know, I'd
- 18:31Speaker 2: love to get that that little accolade. The hell that
- 18:35Speaker 2: little accolade is. I tell you something that can't nobody
- 18:39Speaker 2: take away from you. Once you get it, you got it,
- 18:41Speaker 2: and you can always put that on your resume. That
- 18:44Speaker 2: can be something that you can put on your resume always.
- 18:48Speaker 2: So y'all make sure, y'all I got I don't got it,
- 18:53Speaker 2: but I do have where I am number two. I
- 18:58Speaker 2: have that, but I want to be number one, y'all.
- 19:01Speaker 2: So y'all go over and download, download, support me and
- 19:07Speaker 2: read the book like, don't just download it, read it like.
- 19:11Speaker 2: I think it's a good book. It has some amazing stuff.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Y'all know, we've been in prayer. We have been in prayer.
- 19:19Speaker 2: We have been in prayer for a while now. So
- 19:27Speaker 2: have an opportunity two really to connect with some individuals.
- 19:34Speaker 2: And I got Cornell calling me. But y'all, this is
- 19:38Speaker 2: the book. I'm about to put it on the screen
- 19:41Speaker 2: so y'all can see it. Go on over Amazon and.
- 19:49Speaker 1: And download the book. That is the book. That is
- 19:53Speaker 1: the book.
- 19:55Speaker 2: Hey, mister, I'm on. I'm don't know.
- 20:13Speaker 1: I didn't hear you.
- 20:23Speaker 2: We so y'all see the book. So I just got
- 20:27Speaker 2: a call from Cornell. So he's coming up on this.
- 20:29Speaker 2: He's gonna come up and we're gonna chat.
- 20:32Speaker 1: Y'all.
- 20:32Speaker 2: Know, every chance I get to chat with those that
- 20:36Speaker 2: are behind prison walls, I try to bring them on.
- 20:39Speaker 1: So we're gonna see what he's talking about.
- 20:42Speaker 2: Y'all know, we've been talking about grief, so that's been
- 20:44Speaker 2: one of the things that we've been talking about. And
- 20:48Speaker 2: he was on the other day with Jeannette, and I
- 20:54Speaker 2: was hearing a conversation that him and Seannette was happening.
- 20:58Speaker 2: So how are you today, mister Cornell.
- 21:00Speaker 3: Man, I'm doing great today.
- 21:05Speaker 1: That's good. That's good.
- 21:07Speaker 2: So, uh like I like I was telling those because
- 21:10Speaker 2: we are live and I was telling them that whenever
- 21:15Speaker 2: you call in and I'm own, I try, I like
- 21:17Speaker 2: to try to bring you on. And we were talking
- 21:20Speaker 2: about grief the other day, and I know when you
- 21:22Speaker 2: and Cheanette was on, you were telling us about the
- 21:24Speaker 2: incident that had happened over the holidays, So how have
- 21:30Speaker 2: you been doing with dealing with that situation of losing
- 21:34Speaker 2: your nephew? And I was that, how how have you
- 21:39Speaker 2: been dealing with that?
- 21:40Speaker 4: Well, ma'am then, of course, right like this is very sad,
- 21:44Speaker 4: very hard, you know what I'm saying to deal with
- 21:45Speaker 4: situations like that other on and you know, uh, it has.
- 21:49Speaker 5: Been proven that you know, I'm not the only one,
- 21:51Speaker 5: you know what I'm.
- 21:52Speaker 4: Saying, going three types of situations because in recent days, ma'am,
- 21:56Speaker 4: a lot of Texan president made.
- 21:58Speaker 3: To kill themselves. And you know, given in the free.
- 22:00Speaker 4: World, people have you know, committed suicide about you shooting
- 22:04Speaker 4: themselves and so you know, a lot of people in
- 22:06Speaker 4: the world are going through brief right now. You're doing
- 22:08Speaker 4: stuff and love loss and loved ones and you know,
- 22:10Speaker 4: gang violences and stuff like this. So you know, it's
- 22:13Speaker 4: very hard to deal with, you know, all of these circumstances,
- 22:16Speaker 4: you know, and even out there, you know, because even
- 22:19Speaker 4: in the world are trying to adjust to their paid
- 22:21Speaker 4: society and having alluded the loss of a loved one.
- 22:24Speaker 3: Man, it's very sad.
- 22:25Speaker 4: That you have to, you know, put everything to the
- 22:28Speaker 4: side just to make sure that they get proper burials
- 22:30Speaker 4: and stuff like this here, so everybody lose.
- 22:32Speaker 3: All the way around.
- 22:33Speaker 4: But you know, you know, everybody has to try to
- 22:35Speaker 4: adjust to the web of God because you know, we
- 22:37Speaker 4: can't question God and God's wheel, ma'am.
- 22:40Speaker 3: So you know with the then said, ma'am, you know,
- 22:42Speaker 3: I'm trying to adjust.
- 22:43Speaker 5: The best I can over here, and you know, play
- 22:45Speaker 5: for everyone else.
- 22:46Speaker 3: So that's what I'm at with this right now.
- 22:48Speaker 2: Man said hello, and she said, did you earn have
- 22:52Speaker 2: thoughts and prayers as well as your family? Well, that
- 22:54Speaker 2: that is a lot that a lot of us are
- 22:56Speaker 2: dealing with. I know that that was one thing that
- 23:00Speaker 2: brought some of us together to start the Grief Podcast
- 23:06Speaker 2: because we wanted to be able to share. We wanted
- 23:10Speaker 2: to be able to let people know that they're not
- 23:11Speaker 2: going through this alan that you know, other people are
- 23:14Speaker 2: dealing with this, but how we're dealing with it, how
- 23:18Speaker 2: we get through it.
- 23:18Speaker 1: You know, every day it's not.
- 23:21Speaker 2: An easy day, you know, and people oftentimes don't understand
- 23:27Speaker 2: people oftentimes, you know, even though they may have experienced.
- 23:31Speaker 1: The same thing. We are all different.
- 23:35Speaker 2: Our DNA has made different how we were raised to
- 23:38Speaker 2: handle things are different.
- 23:39Speaker 1: You know.
- 23:39Speaker 2: It's just so much that make us all different and
- 23:42Speaker 2: make us do things different to you know, we just
- 23:46Speaker 2: have to learn how to take things and take nuggets
- 23:50Speaker 2: that work for us and utilize them so that we
- 23:53Speaker 2: can keep going.
- 23:54Speaker 1: You know, it's our There will never be a norm.
- 23:56Speaker 5: You know.
- 23:57Speaker 2: People said, well, we try to get back to norm.
- 23:59Speaker 2: There's not an you know, and once we grasp that
- 24:02Speaker 2: there is not not an on just like I was
- 24:05Speaker 2: telling someone yesterday, you know, we we we get so
- 24:08Speaker 2: caught up on time that there is really no such
- 24:12Speaker 2: thing as time. There's no such thing as time. Man
- 24:16Speaker 2: created time. So that they can appease themselves so that
- 24:19Speaker 2: they can keep track of thing, so that they can,
- 24:22Speaker 2: you know, do what they wanted to do.
- 24:25Speaker 1: But even in there, I think it's.
- 24:27Speaker 2: In Ireland, there's a country that is dark for six
- 24:30Speaker 2: months and there's light for six months.
- 24:32Speaker 1: These people can be.
- 24:33Speaker 2: Out running and thus dark because they don't know what
- 24:38Speaker 2: time it is. They just wanted to go run, so
- 24:40Speaker 2: they went and ran, and then they could be I
- 24:45Speaker 2: don't know, Heaven, I don't know. Something that you do
- 24:48Speaker 2: at night time here that you wouldn't think people would
- 24:51Speaker 2: be doing during a day time.
- 24:52Speaker 1: You may see them doing that over there. You know.
- 24:55Speaker 1: They say that they do what.
- 24:56Speaker 2: They want to do when they want to do it,
- 24:58Speaker 2: whenever they're they're the urge to do it because they
- 25:02Speaker 2: have six months of light and six months are dark.
- 25:05Speaker 2: So it's hard to schedule stuff. But we have gotten
- 25:10Speaker 2: so consumed and so caught up with time and schedules
- 25:17Speaker 2: and trying to keep up with this and trying to
- 25:20Speaker 2: keep up with that. So sometimes it overwhams us. And
- 25:23Speaker 2: when it overwhelms us, guess what it does. It keeps
- 25:27Speaker 2: It takes us out of our spirit, and it does
- 25:29Speaker 2: not allow us to operate in our spirit man, and
- 25:33Speaker 2: and and and that's why we're here. But yeah, I
- 25:37Speaker 2: know I get to go in so y'all know, I
- 25:42Speaker 2: like to talk. I want to let my guests share.
- 25:45Speaker 2: So I'm gonna move on, lock the way and and
- 25:48Speaker 2: let him share.
- 25:50Speaker 5: I know.
- 25:52Speaker 1: I'm in this group with tdc J. There's some people
- 25:57Speaker 1: from from what's the.
- 25:59Speaker 2: Name from where you are, Connery, and they were talking
- 26:06Speaker 2: about some individuals that had transitioned.
- 26:15Speaker 1: What what what.
- 26:16Speaker 2: Is going on with that? It just seems like no
- 26:20Speaker 2: one is addressing it. And it's just like it is
- 26:24Speaker 2: like it's normal, like that is a normal thing, Like
- 26:27Speaker 2: that is what's supposed to happen. And you know, oh
- 26:30Speaker 2: it's not that many, so it's okay, No, that's not okay.
- 26:36Speaker 4: Well, it's a very sad situation because you know here
- 26:40Speaker 4: right now in the state of Texas, man, you know,
- 26:43Speaker 4: it's thousands of thousands of people in placed in one
- 26:45Speaker 4: category and you've got five different categories, so you've got
- 26:49Speaker 4: thousands of amidiculous places in one of these categories. Now,
- 26:52Speaker 4: you know, the transition back into society now, you know,
- 26:55Speaker 4: and it's very stress for now because you can't come
- 26:58Speaker 4: you can't get back to society. You complete a program,
- 27:01Speaker 4: but you've done already thirty years, you know, and to
- 27:04Speaker 4: complete every program and the system and still mad to
- 27:07Speaker 4: end the road. They give you other programs to try
- 27:10Speaker 4: to you know, rehabilitate you, to get you ready for society.
- 27:13Speaker 4: But you know, here it is, in my opinion, man,
- 27:16Speaker 4: those are just you know, additional programs to hold you
- 27:19Speaker 4: in prison a longer time. So you know, it's stressful
- 27:22Speaker 4: for the families because the family is a way for
- 27:24Speaker 4: you to come home and you are sitting in prison,
- 27:27Speaker 4: taking chances of losing you know, then on the opportunity
- 27:30Speaker 4: that you have to get.
- 27:31Speaker 5: To the world.
- 27:32Speaker 4: So you know, this system is so broken, man, that
- 27:35Speaker 4: it's hard to try to adjust to it, man, because
- 27:38Speaker 4: everybody's you know, trying to you know, like they go
- 27:41Speaker 4: home and try to do the right thing, just to
- 27:43Speaker 4: try to get back in the transition back into society.
- 27:46Speaker 4: But that's it just don't seem like it's working for nobody.
- 27:49Speaker 4: So everybody stressed out, man.
- 27:52Speaker 2: So I have a question with this new president and
- 27:58Speaker 2: some of the things that's about to take place.
- 28:00Speaker 1: So we know that Biden pardoned his son on his way.
- 28:07Speaker 2: Out, so a lot of people have a lot to
- 28:11Speaker 2: say about that, and I really want to know what
- 28:18Speaker 2: are your thoughts on that and how do you think
- 28:22Speaker 2: that's gonna truly affect some of the actions of our
- 28:28Speaker 2: newly elected president.
- 28:32Speaker 4: Okay man, Well, you know that's the that's the President Trump.
- 28:36Speaker 4: He had parton females that got convicted under the disparracy laws, right,
- 28:41Speaker 4: so you know people looked at that time and they
- 28:43Speaker 4: just kam Kadashi and played a major part.
- 28:45Speaker 3: Of that because she's do not get the permal justice reform.
- 28:48Speaker 4: So he did that for mister for the people that
- 28:50Speaker 4: he did it for some muter Joe Biden's son that
- 28:53Speaker 4: got caught up with to become okay to So now
- 28:55Speaker 4: everybody should expect me as much as Joe Biden to
- 28:58Speaker 4: do the same thing. Pardon the time, but if he's
- 29:00Speaker 4: going to do something like that, he should not just
- 29:02Speaker 4: only partner the sun. He should fartn other people who deserve.
- 29:05Speaker 5: You know, to be part of that. He's going to
- 29:07Speaker 5: do something like that.
- 29:08Speaker 2: You know, so when when they part in people, how
- 29:11Speaker 2: how do people get partnered? How who determines who get partnered?
- 29:15Speaker 2: How how do they determine that? Because I hear a
- 29:19Speaker 2: lot of y'all saying that y'all should not be there.
- 29:23Speaker 2: If y'all should not be there, then why wouldn't y'all
- 29:25Speaker 2: be up for party? So how would one even get
- 29:30Speaker 2: someone attention to even consider someone for party?
- 29:38Speaker 4: Okay, it goes to a clancy process, ma'am, of the
- 29:40Speaker 4: governor or the parole board man, and the parole would
- 29:43Speaker 4: have to make a recommendation to the governments upon circumstances
- 29:46Speaker 4: of your case. You know what I'm saying, that municate
- 29:48Speaker 4: that you did not commit the offense, so that you
- 29:51Speaker 4: were you know, somehow framed or on the political forces
- 29:54Speaker 4: took some type of part in your case, and that
- 29:57Speaker 4: they could make the recommendation to the governor to grant you.
- 30:01Speaker 1: And that's the only way.
- 30:03Speaker 2: That is that the only way, because I have to
- 30:06Speaker 2: cut you off because I listen to you every day
- 30:10Speaker 2: talk about this commissioner at in.
- 30:15Speaker 1: Texas that is over y'all parole board.
- 30:19Speaker 2: If that is the case, this man could literally even
- 30:23Speaker 2: if you are eligible for a party, and he could
- 30:26Speaker 2: literally say no and not even put you up. So
- 30:30Speaker 2: how I mean it has to be another way? Like
- 30:34Speaker 2: it's too many holes and like Shannette need to go
- 30:41Speaker 2: ahead and think about running for office. I told her,
- 30:43Speaker 2: we need to be thinking about getting in some offices.
- 30:45Speaker 2: We need to be learning, learning some how to the
- 30:49Speaker 2: right some bills and get some legislation class and all
- 30:53Speaker 2: of that, because this is really not making sense to me.
- 30:57Speaker 2: And then it's like we just sitting by and is
- 31:00Speaker 2: that year at the year at the year at the
- 31:02Speaker 2: year and the same thing at the Yeah, the year
- 31:05Speaker 2: at the year.
- 31:07Speaker 4: Okay, well, speaking of that land, that's exactly what I'm doing,
- 31:10Speaker 4: dis running, man, I am rewriting the laws that it
- 31:13Speaker 4: takes the boat to board the paroles because I have
- 31:15Speaker 4: spet parole board since nineteen seventy eight.
- 31:18Speaker 5: Ma'am.
- 31:18Speaker 3: I have been starting the parole laws since coming into
- 31:20Speaker 3: prison systems.
- 31:21Speaker 5: Man.
- 31:22Speaker 4: So I have just realized, man, but the tip system
- 31:25Speaker 4: is not a but a judicial scam because the parole
- 31:27Speaker 4: board system is is a governed vibe.
- 31:30Speaker 5: The judicial gradtic government. But the parole board system under.
- 31:33Speaker 4: The executive grant of government has now operated it pass
- 31:37Speaker 4: the judicial grant of government because the parole boards district
- 31:41Speaker 4: attorneys the one of his genitis on the plole board
- 31:44Speaker 4: decision process. There's no way possitive that anybody coming.
- 31:48Speaker 5: Up with the board can get a very decision.
- 31:49Speaker 3: Now, Okay, here's an example.
- 31:51Speaker 4: I explained my situation to the same commissioner who has
- 31:55Speaker 4: denied me to dis released right now, and he said,
- 31:58Speaker 4: don't worry about what we're doing the buy. There's just
- 32:00Speaker 4: worry about what we do with you. I said, okay,
- 32:02Speaker 4: So if that's possible, well he has I've already done
- 32:05Speaker 4: twenty eight years. Well he has held me another five
- 32:08Speaker 4: years since me have to see him again. But now
- 32:11Speaker 4: he's trying to hold me another sixteen more months just
- 32:14Speaker 4: to make them over chin and dissent back into scat
- 32:17Speaker 4: after showing him that I have been deliberately framed by
- 32:20Speaker 4: the system, but he's refusing to make this at that
- 32:23Speaker 4: five money really release?
- 32:25Speaker 3: So really, man, my system.
- 32:26Speaker 4: Is basically a sham because we are governed b and
- 32:29Speaker 4: in beggible now a system and we.
- 32:32Speaker 3: Don't have no process of like an oversight.
- 32:34Speaker 4: If you committee to oversee the decision. Wow, because they
- 32:38Speaker 4: are under executive branch of government. You cannot sue the
- 32:42Speaker 4: executive brands of government, nor can you challenge their decisions.
- 32:45Speaker 5: Man.
- 32:47Speaker 4: So this is why they do not want no oversight
- 32:49Speaker 4: if you committed to review what they do. You know
- 32:51Speaker 4: you he made an article in your A spine office
- 32:55Speaker 4: magazine regard into the points system and you ask the
- 32:59Speaker 4: question who authorized the parole board to block out the
- 33:03Speaker 4: point the points system on the ministry? Well, ma'am, that
- 33:07Speaker 4: answers a lot of the question has not been answering
- 33:09Speaker 4: to the statement. And you still got thousands of thousand
- 33:12Speaker 4: people being denied paroles every day because of that scamp
- 33:15Speaker 4: right there, when in fact your punt system governs you
- 33:19Speaker 4: to be released based upon your rehabilitation.
- 33:23Speaker 5: So with that being said, man, you know, we appreciate
- 33:25Speaker 5: you all being a voice for us on mouth side.
- 33:27Speaker 3: Man, and I like to say, right front office, that
- 33:29Speaker 3: would be good.
- 33:30Speaker 4: We would love to see you and be the sitting
- 33:32Speaker 4: there run up an office because we need people with
- 33:34Speaker 4: a powerful voice to show that, you know what the
- 33:37Speaker 4: problem is bigger than just you know, talking about a man,
- 33:39Speaker 4: Dady Man, it's bigger and we wish we could get
- 33:42Speaker 4: people like to run up our offices because we need it.
- 33:44Speaker 2: Math Well, hopefully we can do something. I don't know,
- 33:53Speaker 2: but we're gonna keep talking, We're gonna keep sharing on
- 33:56Speaker 2: this podcast. We're gonna be keep trying to be a voice,
- 34:01Speaker 2: but family members gonna have to be a voice too.
- 34:04Speaker 2: You know, it's gonna take a lot of us. They
- 34:06Speaker 2: always say the loudest, the loudest wagon, I always get
- 34:11Speaker 2: the most attention. Ain't it coming down down the road.
- 34:14Speaker 2: So we're just gonna have to keep making a lot
- 34:16Speaker 2: of noise. And it's gonna take a lot of us
- 34:18Speaker 2: making noise. Like all these people that's down there, down
- 34:21Speaker 2: there with y'all, all these people that have been wrongfully incarcerated,
- 34:24Speaker 2: overly incarcerated.
- 34:25Speaker 1: They families need to be speaking.
- 34:27Speaker 2: Out that that should be There should be no quiet,
- 34:31Speaker 2: phones in in the in the house, that should be
- 34:33Speaker 2: no they laptop should be open and writing. I mean,
- 34:37Speaker 2: it's always something that can be done on their behalf.
- 34:41Speaker 2: Like I want to do so much, but I'm all
- 34:44Speaker 2: the way over here. I can do so much, because
- 34:47Speaker 2: you know, every time I've called down there, it's always
- 34:50Speaker 2: been the same thing.
- 34:51Speaker 1: They always give me to run around.
- 34:52Speaker 2: They always put me through to somebody else, They always
- 34:54Speaker 2: put me on hold and they hang up.
- 34:56Speaker 1: It was always something like, if.
- 34:58Speaker 2: If I was in there area I'm talking about, will
- 35:01Speaker 2: knock these people doors down. They would get tired of
- 35:02Speaker 2: seeing me. They really would get tired of seeing me,
- 35:05Speaker 2: because you got to be a fly on the wall
- 35:10Speaker 2: until change come. You just can't just just do a
- 35:14Speaker 2: couple of things, do a couple of podcasts, do a
- 35:16Speaker 2: couple of articles, do a couple of notes, and then
- 35:19Speaker 2: think that you know, things supposed to change. No, that's
- 35:22Speaker 2: not gonna happen. You need thousands of thousands people coming together.
- 35:27Speaker 2: We need protests. People need to get back to protests,
- 35:29Speaker 2: and they need to get back to march, and they
- 35:30Speaker 2: need to get back to meeting in front of these
- 35:32Speaker 2: people offices. These people don't got so comfortable with what
- 35:35Speaker 2: they're doing. They lot of gag in and out of
- 35:39Speaker 2: their office because ain't nobody, ain't nobody protesting that they office,
- 35:43Speaker 2: Ain't nobody making no noise, ain't nobody bringing no attention
- 35:46Speaker 2: to them. So they doing what they want to do.
- 35:48Speaker 2: But when you start bringing noise and attention to them,
- 35:51Speaker 2: I guarantee you they'll line up, they'll get in place,
- 35:54Speaker 2: they'll do what they're supposed to do.
- 35:56Speaker 4: Okay, So that's a good Because I was looking at
- 36:01Speaker 4: the podcast called the Prison show. Okay, I want the
- 36:04Speaker 4: prison So the months couple of years back, like these addigitals,
- 36:07Speaker 4: they bring.
- 36:08Speaker 3: Wrong people from the parole board, the.
- 36:10Speaker 5: People from the Texas and these families, so.
- 36:12Speaker 4: All these different advocates and they talk about Texas's criminal
- 36:15Speaker 4: justice systems and.
- 36:16Speaker 3: Stuff like that. And here it is.
- 36:18Speaker 4: Last night I was listening to them and they was
- 36:20Speaker 4: sending shout outs to people that's on death row and
- 36:23Speaker 4: talking about decisions made by different court systems and stuff
- 36:26Speaker 4: like that. So I'm asking myself, a few in the
- 36:29Speaker 4: digitals over here on the prison show talking about different
- 36:33Speaker 4: issues that's seven all.
- 36:34Speaker 3: About the criminal justice, prison systems and decisions and tenagers,
- 36:39Speaker 3: Why are we.
- 36:39Speaker 4: Not talking about how we got here in the first place,
- 36:42Speaker 4: while we're.
- 36:43Speaker 5: Not talking about the corruption, while we're not.
- 36:44Speaker 4: Talking about the second field, while we're not talking about
- 36:47Speaker 4: the law parties, while we're not talking about the awful
- 36:49Speaker 4: convictions of these kids. How to do forty years to
- 36:52Speaker 4: prison people being elder before parole and they've never been
- 36:56Speaker 4: given a competency here and to determine if they have
- 36:58Speaker 4: any mental issues and stuff like that, while we're not
- 37:01Speaker 4: talking about these issues. You know, this is the problem
- 37:04Speaker 4: with them. They're sitting back waiting and waiting every two years,
- 37:07Speaker 4: just for the laws to come up so that they
- 37:08Speaker 4: can get out in the spotlight, ma'am, and just get
- 37:11Speaker 4: recognition just by having a title called the prison, so
- 37:14Speaker 4: the Texas and make STI Association, the.
- 37:17Speaker 3: Texas Community Prison.
- 37:19Speaker 5: Alliances and stuff.
- 37:20Speaker 4: But that's it. Because I haven't written a level to
- 37:22Speaker 4: each one of these individuals who told them about the
- 37:25Speaker 4: criminal justice system reform. They have not responded to me yet.
- 37:29Speaker 5: And that's the problem.
- 37:31Speaker 3: I don't have nobody to stand up for us.
- 37:33Speaker 5: Man.
- 37:36Speaker 1: Wow wow, wow wow.
- 37:39Speaker 2: I tell you, it's always something. It's always something. But
- 37:45Speaker 2: Shannette do her best. I do my best, and I say,
- 37:50Speaker 2: all we can do is keep putting, putting our feet
- 37:52Speaker 2: to the plow and just keep going. That's that's all
- 37:55Speaker 2: we can do. Keep writing and keep making noise, and
- 37:58Speaker 2: keep praying and hope that you know, somebody, somebody may
- 38:02Speaker 2: see these podcasts, that somebody may pick up the magazine,
- 38:05Speaker 2: that somebody may you know, here's something that we're doing
- 38:10Speaker 2: and want to be a part of it. I think
- 38:13Speaker 2: a couple of people got some change dot org forms
- 38:16Speaker 2: out just just trying to, you know, bring awareness to
- 38:20Speaker 2: a lot of the things that's going on. But Cornett,
- 38:23Speaker 2: I thank you for coming on and sharing with me.
- 38:27Speaker 2: You know, I take every chance I get to highlight
- 38:32Speaker 2: y'all to bring awareness to what's going on, because before
- 38:37Speaker 2: I didn't know all this was going on. But now
- 38:39Speaker 2: that I know, I can't sit quiet, I can't not
- 38:43Speaker 2: do nothing about it. And again I thank God for
- 38:46Speaker 2: Chanette for all that she does with bringing awareness and
- 38:50Speaker 2: being a voice, because oftentime we think that we don't
- 38:55Speaker 2: have a voice and we'll sit and we won't utilize
- 38:59Speaker 2: our voice. So I thank God for her because she's
- 39:02Speaker 2: definitely bringing awareness to other people's cases. I'm reminded about
- 39:08Speaker 2: a statement that our apostles share with us quite often,
- 39:14Speaker 2: and she's I forget if it's a scripture or not,
- 39:16Speaker 2: but she says, what we do for others, God would
- 39:22Speaker 2: do for us. So when people ask me why I
- 39:25Speaker 2: do what I do and how do I do what
- 39:28Speaker 2: I do, well, first of all, I work thento the Lord,
- 39:31Speaker 2: and then I don't do it for me. I do
- 39:34Speaker 2: it for the building of the kingdom because I know
- 39:37Speaker 2: that if I do what I'm supposed to do and
- 39:40Speaker 2: if it helped bring somebody home, then they'll be back
- 39:42Speaker 2: out in society to be able to be a productive citizen.
- 39:45Speaker 2: They'll be able to share their testimony, they'll be able
- 39:47Speaker 2: to impore into somebody else, and hopefully they'll.
- 39:50Speaker 1: Be able to teach one reach one. So that's why I.
- 39:55Speaker 4: Am with that beautiful something very serious in real estate.
- 40:01Speaker 3: Right, there'll be made man because you know.
- 40:04Speaker 4: I'm a co host. Finally let's talk about it. And
- 40:06Speaker 4: you know, the issues that we have talked about, manmost
- 40:09Speaker 4: are very very serious issues, you know, and it touches
- 40:12Speaker 4: me and out. You know, I appreciate my host, Mississiett Johnson.
- 40:16Speaker 3: But the thing is she can.
- 40:17Speaker 4: Keep a very compassionate person. You know, she's down to
- 40:20Speaker 4: earth and you know, the one thing we can say
- 40:22Speaker 4: about us that she won't stop. She will not stop
- 40:25Speaker 4: at all and nothing to bring a to us to
- 40:28Speaker 4: be everybody.
- 40:29Speaker 1: Well, I'm excited.
- 40:30Speaker 2: I'm excited for her what she's gonna be doing in
- 40:33Speaker 2: twenty twenty five and lunching of the nonprofit and getting
- 40:38Speaker 2: all of.
- 40:38Speaker 1: That off the ground. I'm excited about that stand up
- 40:42Speaker 1: for justice and.
- 40:44Speaker 2: That's what she's been doing. She's been standing up for
- 40:47Speaker 2: justice and being a voice. So I'm excited. And then
- 40:52Speaker 2: you with the Free Texas campaign. I say, y'all gonna
- 40:55Speaker 2: be standing on everybody street corners. Yea all gonna be
- 40:57Speaker 2: standing at all of the courthouses. But I didn't even
- 41:01Speaker 2: want to talk. I didn't even want to talk about
- 41:03Speaker 2: what y'all say y'all was gonna have on. I said, Lord,
- 41:06Speaker 2: have mercy. I know I won't be out there, y'all.
- 41:12Speaker 2: This is an inside Joe. It's an inside joke because
- 41:16Speaker 2: Channette say she's She always said I'm gonna be out
- 41:20Speaker 2: there with them. I say, no, I'm not. She said,
- 41:22Speaker 2: I'm gonna be out there with my little uniform on. No,
- 41:24Speaker 2: I'm not gonna have on no uniform they gonna have
- 41:26Speaker 2: on their little what's the name? Chanette don't even know
- 41:29Speaker 2: that Cornell is talking about putting putting her in some
- 41:32Speaker 2: pink plaid bell bottoms in a striped pink shirt.
- 41:39Speaker 1: I told him they don't dress like that.
- 41:41Speaker 5: No more.
- 41:41Speaker 2: He's been gone too long. I said, Oh, don't dress
- 41:45Speaker 2: like that, Dumbo. They don't dress like that, Dumbo. I said,
- 41:48Speaker 2: Shannett ain't gonna put that on. I said, now you
- 41:51Speaker 2: talk about some some some jeans and some slacks, or
- 41:54Speaker 2: some slacks and some in a polo. She might be
- 41:57Speaker 2: for it, just put the logo on that she might
- 42:00Speaker 2: be for it, but she ain't going for the plaids
- 42:04Speaker 2: and and the bail bottom.
- 42:05Speaker 1: She ain't going for that. I could tell you right
- 42:07Speaker 1: now she ain't going for that, and no I am not.
- 42:10Speaker 1: I'm not.
- 42:11Speaker 2: I'm not doing none of that, So y'all can have that.
- 42:13Speaker 2: I'm gonna be off throwing my own thing. I'm gonna focus.
- 42:17Speaker 2: I got other stuff that I'm gonna focus on. I
- 42:19Speaker 2: told like I was. I prayed for SNET and God
- 42:23Speaker 2: sent her because as bad as I wanted to do
- 42:27Speaker 2: social injustice and I wanted to do the stuff that
- 42:30Speaker 2: she is doing for the network, I could not do
- 42:33Speaker 2: it and do the behind the scenes stuff.
- 42:35Speaker 1: But I knew that there was a place for it
- 42:37Speaker 1: and it was needed, and I was so glad.
- 42:40Speaker 2: I thank God for all of the eight hosts that
- 42:44Speaker 2: are on the network and the two new co hosts
- 42:49Speaker 2: that's gonna be a part of the Grief podcast. I'm
- 42:54Speaker 2: gonna be working on trying to get another host because
- 42:56Speaker 2: we got a nut. We got a spot that came open,
- 43:00Speaker 2: so I'm excited. I can't wait till we kick off.
- 43:04Speaker 2: We of course the Brief Podcast. It's only four shows, y'all.
- 43:08Speaker 2: Y'all only gonna get to see us four times. So
- 43:11Speaker 2: know that our show may be an hour to two
- 43:13Speaker 2: hours long because we really want to talk about grief
- 43:17Speaker 2: and we really want to give individuals an opportunity to
- 43:21Speaker 2: chime into the conversation. We're even gonna have where you

- 46:27Speaker 1: And that's what I did this morning.
