- 1:56Speaker 1: Yeah, it's juicy stuff.
- 2:01Speaker 3: It is.
- 2:02Speaker 5: It is, but for another time in a week from
- 2:05Speaker 5: no people. Ye alrighty, welcome back to the Son of
- 2:10Speaker 5: a Boy Dad podcast. Today it is actually don't know
- 2:15Speaker 5: what today is. It is September fifteenth, and we are
- 2:20Speaker 5: here live from HQ three.
- 2:23Speaker 1: To twenty six pm to twenty six pm. Good to
- 2:27Speaker 1: see you, brothers. I've missed you, like the fucking Dickens's.
- 2:31Speaker 3: Uh, it's crazy. We recorded and then something big happened.
- 2:36Speaker 5: Yeah, well that's we got bad luck with that.
- 2:39Speaker 1: What happened? Falconsy falcons?
- 2:41Speaker 5: Yeah, falcons upset the Vikings.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Yeah, it's fucking nuts.
- 2:46Speaker 5: JJ McCarthy had what thirty yards?
- 2:52Speaker 1: Yeah, I know, it's a fucking I think it's a
- 2:54Speaker 1: tragedy too. And there's a lot of people out there
- 2:56Speaker 1: saying it's not a tragedy, and it's like, well, fucking
- 2:59Speaker 1: obviously it is.
- 3:00Speaker 5: My dad lost his job because he tweeted J. J
- 3:03Speaker 5: McCarthy's sucks, and they found him. He lost his job,
- 3:07Speaker 5: you know.
- 3:08Speaker 3: Culture, it's uh, it's quite something to see you be
- 3:11Speaker 3: humorous about this whole thing.
- 3:14Speaker 5: JJ McCarthy's sucking.
- 3:15Speaker 3: No, just we all know what you're doing. And uh,
- 3:18Speaker 3: I'll be honest with you. There was a moment there
- 3:19Speaker 3: where I was reading about the suspect. Yeah, and uh
- 3:25Speaker 3: he was a big fan of Call of Duty. Oh really.
- 3:28Speaker 3: He was a major fly fishing expert. That was his passion.
- 3:34Speaker 5: I wouldn't call myself an expert.
- 3:35Speaker 3: And he was notoriously kind of stayed inside and didn't
- 3:41Speaker 3: really kept to himself for the most part. Had had
- 3:44Speaker 3: a lot of gummies. Ate a lot of gummies. I
- 3:49Speaker 3: was in there, that was in the discription. Yeah, and
- 3:51Speaker 3: I said to myself, my god.
- 3:54Speaker 5: I just saw you walking down the hallway with a
- 3:56Speaker 5: full sized bag of starboard or what was it, power
- 3:59Speaker 5: patch kids.
- 4:00Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, they caught the guy.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Already, you know, you never know, it's the savors time
- 4:05Speaker 1: to eat sour patch kids right after they catch a guy.
- 4:08Speaker 3: You know. What was so amazing was that the FBI
- 4:11Speaker 3: went to his parents' house and because they had said,
- 4:15Speaker 3: we think we have information. And I heard that it
- 4:18Speaker 3: was the mother actually who told them while she was
- 4:22Speaker 3: knitting that she thought her son might have committed the assassination.
- 4:28Speaker 1: The parents had just moved right across the street, which
- 4:31Speaker 1: is like a very like old white people thing to do,
- 4:33Speaker 1: to be like, I want that one.
- 4:34Speaker 5: Funny. I see what you guys are doing, very funny.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Yeah, if you've seen you know what is fun.
- 4:40Speaker 3: And by the way, those Feds they had a tough
- 4:42Speaker 3: time getting in because there was a dog that was
- 4:44Speaker 3: like trying to bite all of them.
- 4:46Speaker 5: Done that joke in years doesn't mark what joke.
- 4:50Speaker 3: There's no jokes here, there is.
- 4:52Speaker 5: I keep forgetting what I was going to say.
- 4:54Speaker 3: God, he had a lot in common with you, though.
- 4:56Speaker 5: Oh that's what I was going to say. Everyone was
- 4:58Speaker 5: people are tagging me in that post being like, and
- 5:01Speaker 5: then I saw the my favorite, my favorite one that
- 5:03Speaker 5: I saw was though, when the guy was on the
- 5:06Speaker 5: run and they were like trying to hunt him down.
- 5:08Speaker 3: Yeah, well that was when we knew it wasn't you.
- 5:10Speaker 3: It was when he jumped down the.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Explode.
- 5:16Speaker 5: I I retweeted this. I don't know if you guys
- 5:18Speaker 5: saw it, but people were. People were replying when the
- 5:20Speaker 5: FBI posted and they're like, we have this suspect, blah
- 5:23Speaker 5: blah blah. People were replying being like, had Ai had
- 5:26Speaker 5: Ai touch it up? Could look a little like this,
- 5:29Speaker 5: And it was like a bunch of people replying, had
- 5:30Speaker 5: open Ai, Oh I grock touch it up? And then
- 5:33Speaker 5: someone quote tweeted and they were like, it's perfect. Four
- 5:35Speaker 5: people who don't exist. It's like it was just different
- 5:39Speaker 5: images of this like cleaned up photo that Ai did
- 5:42Speaker 5: and it was just no one. So it's like that's
- 5:44Speaker 5: not doing anything for anybody. It's like you're creating images
- 5:47Speaker 5: of someone who's never existed on earth.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Yeah, that is the whole police sketch model. They're just
- 5:53Speaker 1: fucking making people up.
- 5:54Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm I'm big Anti AI. I want that to
- 5:59Speaker 5: be now. And I shut down my chat GBT account and.
- 6:01Speaker 3: I did it.
- 6:02Speaker 5: I did it through Ai said our time has come
- 6:04Speaker 5: to an end. Why delete my account? I just think
- 6:08Speaker 5: it's weird that.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Chat That chat GPT is weird.
- 6:11Speaker 5: I think it's weird the way that certain people are
- 6:13Speaker 5: using it like it makes it. It makes me a
- 6:15Speaker 5: little bit like uncomfortable.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Well, didn't they have to remove the romantic capabilities of
- 6:20Speaker 1: it because there was like fifteen percent of women were
- 6:24Speaker 1: like putting their phone inside of themselves. It's quit this vibe.
- 6:30Speaker 3: That it was.
- 6:33Speaker 5: There's a bunch of weird shit where it's like people
- 6:36Speaker 5: were making it their boyfriend yep, are like falling in
- 6:38Speaker 5: love with it. They're using it as a therapist. I
- 6:41Speaker 5: read something in the New York Times some kid like
- 6:43Speaker 5: killed himself and it was like his parents found their
- 6:46Speaker 5: phone and it was like he had been talking with
- 6:47Speaker 5: chat GBT for like months. I think about like how
- 6:50Speaker 5: to kill himself and stuff. And I was like, this
- 6:53Speaker 5: is this is a part of history. I just don't
- 6:55Speaker 5: want to be a part of Yeah. Yeah, I'm sure
- 6:58Speaker 5: they'll update it eventually and they'll be fine, But right
- 7:00Speaker 5: now I'm out, Well, you're just gonna like back to
- 7:02Speaker 5: YouTube videos, YouTube tutorials.
- 7:04Speaker 1: What are other examples of like technology that people try
- 7:07Speaker 1: to deny initially and that it just like.
- 7:10Speaker 5: I've been I think I've been denying AI for like
- 7:12Speaker 5: probably five years now, and every time I deny it,
- 7:15Speaker 5: people say, oh, it's taken.
- 7:17Speaker 3: Over the world.
- 7:17Speaker 5: You have no clue.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Well, it's happening to you, whether you're using it or not. Like, no, yes,
- 7:23Speaker 1: it's happening around you. There's other people who are using it.
- 7:25Speaker 1: There's probably your fucking ticket sales are powered by it,
- 7:28Speaker 1: or like your fast food orders powered by it. Like
- 7:31Speaker 1: there's it's happening to you.
- 7:33Speaker 5: I mean, look that without there's stuff like that, I'm
- 7:36Speaker 5: fine with. I'm just saying I'm not going to use
- 7:38Speaker 5: it as a tool anymore, right, And honestly, dude, I
- 7:43Speaker 5: was I was playing video games like I was on
- 7:44Speaker 5: my this weekend. I was using my my handheld the
- 7:47Speaker 5: rock ally and CHATGBT. I used to always ask what
- 7:51Speaker 5: settings to use for the best frames per second, right,
- 7:54Speaker 5: and it never it would never really help.
- 7:56Speaker 1: It's not good for creative stuff. Now, you're just good
- 7:58Speaker 1: for like procedural stuff.
- 8:00Speaker 5: This is but this is sort of procedural, like just
- 8:02Speaker 5: finding settings. Watched a YouTube video last night. Suddenly I'm
- 8:06Speaker 5: getting one hundred and twenty fps. It starts me then
- 8:09Speaker 5: and then I'm thinking, well, I've been wasting my time
- 8:11Speaker 5: with you at GBT this whole time. YouTube is the.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Source dropped the link to the vid there.
- 8:18Speaker 5: I would pay one hundred dollars a month for YouTube.
- 8:21Speaker 3: Yeah, oh, I'll just say it again. We understand that
- 8:26Speaker 3: people are not happy at how many YouTube ads there are.
- 8:31Speaker 3: I don't know what to tell you other than to
- 8:32Speaker 3: do YouTube premium. We don't get any money from YouTube
- 8:35Speaker 3: for saying that.
- 8:37Speaker 1: That is not we should.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Honestly, I don't have there's no I don't get anything
- 8:43Speaker 3: other than just telling you it'll improve your life. Unfortunately,
- 8:47Speaker 3: I can't imagine not having it. It's mine kicked out
- 8:51Speaker 3: because I had a credit card, an old credit card,
- 8:53Speaker 3: so it didn't renew. Yeah, so they were like three
- 8:56Speaker 3: or four days there where I had ads again, and
- 9:00Speaker 3: I was like, ah, whatever, maybe this won't be so bad.
- 9:03Speaker 3: It was unbearable.
- 9:04Speaker 5: Yeah, I think they made them work. I think they
- 9:06Speaker 5: made the ads worse on purpose so that YE will
- 9:08Speaker 5: buy it.
- 9:08Speaker 1: And how is every barstool video how does it have
- 9:11Speaker 1: an attached ad that is just barstool personalities in it?
- 9:15Speaker 5: I think there's a like there's like settings for that.
- 9:17Speaker 1: They just are they full time actors though, because they
- 9:19Speaker 1: were in like Doctor Pepper and like that. It's like,
- 9:22Speaker 1: I don't understand how what like they're like advertising for
- 9:26Speaker 1: TV shows. It's just bizarre. I don't understand when when
- 9:31Speaker 1: they're shooting all those ads, who are shooting those ads?
- 9:34Speaker 5: Yeah, I've never I mean me and you had to
- 9:36Speaker 5: do one a while ago for Talkies You're no dat Chat.
- 9:41Speaker 5: They were trying to do some ad for me and
- 9:42Speaker 5: Rome to do for dat Chat. They wanted us to
- 9:44Speaker 5: like fuck in the video. They were like, now pretend
- 9:47Speaker 5: to have sex and Rome was just like, We're not
- 9:50Speaker 5: going to do that.
- 9:52Speaker 1: They were it felt like it was like our humiliation,
- 9:55Speaker 1: which it was. It was like Hollywood was trying to
- 9:57Speaker 1: coming to all right, you let us film this untold
- 10:01Speaker 1: riches will come your way. Our blood sacrifice.
- 10:05Speaker 5: I actually have such a vivid memory of them being like,
- 10:07Speaker 5: would you guys want to like pretend to fucking run
- 10:09Speaker 5: and just goes We're not doing that.
- 10:12Speaker 1: But I think they already had me like in like
- 10:15Speaker 1: you're wearing like a nightgown? Yeah, they like they were
- 10:18Speaker 1: like it was full humiliation. It's like if you put
- 10:21Speaker 1: this next to I don't know, a Diddy video, they'd
- 10:25Speaker 1: be like, Okay, yeah, this is what was happening here.
- 10:27Speaker 5: Yeah, that's what Kat Williams was talking about.
- 10:30Speaker 1: Literally whenever when he said that, I was like, is
- 10:32Speaker 1: that what happened?
- 10:32Speaker 5: He was referring to our commercials for that chat.
- 10:36Speaker 1: I didn't realize I had been exposed like that. It
- 10:39Speaker 1: was fucking jarring Francis. Are we going with a more
- 10:43Speaker 1: thin silhouette this fall?
- 10:44Speaker 3: With a shoot at the footwear? Yeah?
- 10:47Speaker 5: M what what brand is that?
- 10:49Speaker 3: This is a company called Trees and Not Come Again?
- 10:53Speaker 3: Drees d R I S Drees. Yeah.
- 10:56Speaker 1: You know how Brion and Chicken Fry. I was like
- 10:57Speaker 1: that Twitter account, that's like what Briona chicken Fry or
- 11:00Speaker 1: something like that did she or maybe ex Instagram?
- 11:03Speaker 3: Okay, you got to get one and we could.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Just put your put your whole outfit together every day.
- 11:08Speaker 3: I I try sometimes and then I really lose energy
- 11:13Speaker 3: and stop trying and then come back to trying. I
- 11:16Speaker 3: don't know. I like fall. I have a hard time
- 11:19Speaker 3: dressing in summer. I get too hot.
- 11:20Speaker 5: Oh yeah, of course, yeah, you gotta walk around with
- 11:22Speaker 5: like a little kid. I know.
- 11:24Speaker 1: I mean, look at you right now. But I came
- 11:25Speaker 1: straight from the gym because you got it early. Didn't
- 11:28Speaker 1: even shower.
- 11:29Speaker 3: I hit so hard today, did you? Oh my God,
- 11:32Speaker 3: break just as I am fucking punishing myself.
- 11:37Speaker 1: God, tell me about it. I have to cover up.
- 11:39Speaker 3: I am absolutely on the war path.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Yeah, seriously, break it down, break it down.
- 11:46Speaker 3: All right. So today I started with five minutes on
- 11:50Speaker 3: the assault bike and I did a tobata which was
- 11:55Speaker 3: ten seconds rest, twenty seconds sprint.
- 11:57Speaker 5: That's the full workout for me, like the five and
- 12:00Speaker 5: it's on the salt bike. I'm going home.
- 12:01Speaker 3: Yeah, So I did that. Then I did sort of
- 12:05Speaker 3: a dynamic warm up, and then I did alternating single
- 12:12Speaker 3: arm chest dumbbell presses, but when I would keep the
- 12:17Speaker 3: other one in the air while I did that. That
- 12:20Speaker 3: so I did that sets of twelve. I did sixties
- 12:24Speaker 3: today and then I used for twelve just flat yeah,
- 12:29Speaker 3: and then I did cable crosses. But the key to
- 12:33Speaker 3: that is you need to go past your hands, don't
- 12:36Speaker 3: just bring them together. That's how you get that extra shred.
- 12:41Speaker 3: And I just go over under like that twelve's and
- 12:44Speaker 3: then I did Oh, this was tough. I don't know
- 12:47Speaker 3: what this exercise is called. But I had forties on
- 12:50Speaker 3: the ground and I would do push up and then
- 12:52Speaker 3: I would do single arm row, single arm row push
- 12:56Speaker 3: up and I did ten of those and that's a nightmare.
- 12:59Speaker 3: I did force of that. Yeah.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Then I did yeah wow.
- 13:04Speaker 3: And ten push ups. And then I did I took
- 13:08Speaker 3: whatever that thing is on the thing and did some
- 13:11Speaker 3: rows like that. Love it. And then I did overhead,
- 13:14Speaker 3: some lat pole downs, lat pulled downs three sets each alternating,
- 13:19Speaker 3: and shoulder press for twelve, and then I did fifty perpies.
- 13:23Speaker 5: Have you ever seen someone get lifted off the ground
- 13:25Speaker 5: from the lat pull down?
- 13:28Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, knees scrunched out.
- 13:33Speaker 5: I've never seen it in person, but I've seen videos
- 13:36Speaker 5: and they're fucking hilarious.
- 13:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:37Speaker 5: I thought it was like an Indian bro with like
- 13:39Speaker 5: jeans and.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Fucking yeah, just flying the collar shirt, touching collar shirt,
- 13:45Speaker 1: just lat pulling triple his weight.
- 13:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:48Speaker 5: Yeah, and it's like a full body exercise. They're like
- 13:54Speaker 5: they go up and then they like lean all the
- 13:55Speaker 5: way back, use all the momentum.
- 13:59Speaker 1: It's so nice. I respect the hell out of it.
- 14:01Speaker 6: Same.
- 14:02Speaker 3: I'm trying to hit five days a week of exercise now, damn.
- 14:07Speaker 3: Trying to get back to that.
- 14:08Speaker 1: You must be battling demons five.
- 14:11Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm just there's no I don't know, there's really
- 14:14Speaker 3: no excuse for me anymore to not be really pushing myself.
- 14:21Speaker 1: What's the recovery like though, hyperbaric cryogenic?
- 14:25Speaker 3: What are we talking? I stretch at night. I like
- 14:30Speaker 3: to stretch. This is I like to stretch high. I
- 14:34Speaker 3: love getting high and stretching. I turn on like you know,
- 14:39Speaker 3: Premier League highlights, the long ones, and just have that
- 14:44Speaker 3: going while I stretch for like twenty minutes. Dude.
- 14:47Speaker 1: I used to love to do that in Philly, and
- 14:49Speaker 1: I just I live with a marine who talked like
- 14:52Speaker 1: Sylvester Stallone and we would just get so fucking high
- 14:55Speaker 1: and then I would just like start stretching. And I
- 14:58Speaker 1: remember I did it one day on on a Sunday
- 15:01Speaker 1: while football was on. He's like, come on, kid, not well,
- 15:03Speaker 1: football is on. I was just like my legs up
- 15:09Speaker 1: in front of the TV. He's probably disgusted with me.
- 15:12Speaker 3: Come on good. Speaking of Philly, there's a new show
- 15:15Speaker 3: out on HBO. Is this the yeah? I heard? I
- 15:19Speaker 3: watched the first three quarters of the first episode last night.
- 15:22Speaker 5: No spoiler.
- 15:23Speaker 3: I think we got something. I think we finally have
- 15:26Speaker 3: something good to watch again. Oh my god, am I
- 15:29Speaker 3: excited about this show? Here? Fuck me in the ass.
- 15:33Speaker 3: I'll tell you what. Okay, No, no, no broad strokes,
- 15:36Speaker 3: no spoilers. It's not spoiler.
- 15:38Speaker 1: All right, I'll just watch it. I'll just watch it.
- 15:40Speaker 3: You can say, is it drug related?
- 15:42Speaker 1: It always is a little drink.
- 15:43Speaker 3: It's always a little It's it's Mark Ruffalo playing sort
- 15:47Speaker 3: of like a semi disgraced FBI.
- 15:49Speaker 5: That's already a spoiler.
- 15:50Speaker 3: I didn't know.
- 15:51Speaker 5: I didn't know Ruffalo was in it.
- 15:53Speaker 3: You didn't know.
- 15:54Speaker 5: Ruff He's my top he's in top three for men.
- 15:57Speaker 3: Yeah, he's awesome.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Spot Light Black Blackwater.
- 16:02Speaker 3: Dark Water Water so good. The Hulk, he's the the Hulk.
- 16:07Speaker 3: But the kids are all right. Great, The Hulk, the
- 16:10Speaker 3: kids are all right? Is a great movie.
- 16:11Speaker 5: He's honestly a little weird in spot He's got that
- 16:14Speaker 5: one line in Spotlight that just really it takes me out.
- 16:17Speaker 1: What does he say when he goes, Oh, I'm freaking
- 16:20Speaker 1: it's perfect, I was freaking starving.
- 16:26Speaker 5: Oh my god, I'm freaking starving like that. I hate
- 16:29Speaker 5: that part that there's two parts of Spotlight that are flawed.
- 16:33Speaker 3: And it's not understand why you've seen that movie so
- 16:35Speaker 3: many times so good. It doesn't seem like one that's
- 16:38Speaker 3: all that fight watching it like weekly. It's a great movie,
- 16:42Speaker 3: but you know it's a it's it's are you learning
- 16:46Speaker 3: more each time you watch it? No? You know what
- 16:48Speaker 3: happens each time?
- 16:49Speaker 1: Yeah, but it's a bad I think it's the justice
- 16:51Speaker 1: of them catching the pedophiles. That like scratches the itch
- 16:54Speaker 1: in your brain. I just like like.
- 16:56Speaker 5: The like the news room, like that, those scenes and
- 16:59Speaker 5: they're like building.
- 17:00Speaker 3: You should watch All the President's.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Men Broken Glass. Now about this journalists named Stephen Glass
- 17:06Speaker 1: who like was making up stories or something like that.
- 17:08Speaker 1: But his newsroom dynamic is.
- 17:09Speaker 5: Now I don't think I have seen that. Sounds good classic,
- 17:12Speaker 5: but yeah, there's that there's that line where he goes
- 17:14Speaker 5: I'm freaking starving. And then there's the scene where he's
- 17:17Speaker 5: talking where Mark Ruffalo's talking to the counselor or the
- 17:22Speaker 5: guy that's dealing with all the cases, and the victim
- 17:26Speaker 5: is there. You know I'm talking about.
- 17:29Speaker 3: I've seen the movie one time and it was probably
- 17:32Speaker 3: repeat for repeat viewers.
- 17:35Speaker 5: And he turns around and he goes, get those get
- 17:37Speaker 5: these fucking assholes, and and it's he delivers the line
- 17:41Speaker 5: so bad that I thought it was one of the
- 17:44Speaker 5: real victims. You know how they do that. Sometimes it's
- 17:48Speaker 5: like a yeah, like throw you in like that.
- 17:53Speaker 1: You get some face time, let everyone know you were
- 17:55Speaker 1: victims exactly.
- 17:56Speaker 3: Victims number three played himself.
- 17:59Speaker 5: Yeah, and I love and he's not he's an actor.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Fuck well sounds a great show.
- 18:09Speaker 3: Yeah, for for what I've seen, I'm excited.
- 18:13Speaker 5: Just one episode out right now.
- 18:15Speaker 3: No, I would think last night, they probably it's a
- 18:17Speaker 3: Sunday night show, so they probably put out the second.
- 18:19Speaker 1: You know, they're putting heat on a Sunday night.
- 18:21Speaker 3: Oh, big time night. We haven't had one of these
- 18:27Speaker 3: Sunday Nights dramas in a long time.
- 18:30Speaker 5: I hope it's more than a mini series.
- 18:32Speaker 3: It won't be, it won't be. That's what That's what
- 18:35Speaker 3: these when they get these A list actors to sign on,
- 18:40Speaker 3: they do it because it's a limited series that like.
- 18:43Speaker 1: The amount of time shooting a movie.
- 18:45Speaker 3: Nicole Goodman can't sign she's not double spoiler, but she
- 18:52Speaker 3: won't sign on for like a show that could go
- 18:55Speaker 3: six seasons because she has too much other ship she
- 18:58Speaker 3: wants to But if it's a an episode contained mini series,
- 19:03Speaker 3: that's like a long movie.
- 19:04Speaker 5: Basically the problem is the mini series are just so good,
- 19:08Speaker 5: like Mayor of Eastown could have done seventy seasons and
- 19:13Speaker 5: people would still be watching.
- 19:15Speaker 3: Maybe it's it's tough to sustain, right, Yeah, dude. Handmaid's
- 19:20Speaker 3: Tale is one of the first season of Handmaid's Tale
- 19:23Speaker 3: is like one of the best seasons of television I've
- 19:24Speaker 3: ever seen, and each season got successively worse and now
- 19:28Speaker 3: it's just I won't even watch what.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Is Handmaid's Tale is a girls TV.
- 19:32Speaker 3: It's about an ideal scenario, like just like kind of
- 19:36Speaker 3: what you'd hope would happen in society, and unfortunately, like
- 19:39Speaker 3: the women don't don't feel that way. By the way,
- 19:44Speaker 3: I'm completely kidding, uh, And it did not land at
- 19:48Speaker 3: all with you guys. Imagine basically the women are raped, yeah,
- 19:55Speaker 3: every day because they are. There's like a handful of
- 19:59Speaker 3: people stop being able to have children, and then there's
- 20:01Speaker 3: a select there's a very few number of women that
- 20:04Speaker 3: are are still capable, and they become slaves, sex slaves, basically.
- 20:10Speaker 1: God, it's.
- 20:12Speaker 3: Not an ideal situation.
- 20:15Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean one season of that was probably enough.
- 20:20Speaker 3: But they start to fight their way out. Yeah, it's
- 20:23Speaker 3: really kind of cool. And it's the girl from uh
- 20:28Speaker 3: Madmen who's the lead, and she's.
- 20:30Speaker 1: Also are we talking about the Buxham Redhead? No, Amy Adams,
- 20:36Speaker 1: Christina Hendricks.
- 20:39Speaker 3: It's what's her name? You know this woman? She was
- 20:41Speaker 3: in that movie Invisible Man or something like that.
- 20:43Speaker 5: Oh yeah, I don't know what her name is, but
- 20:47Speaker 5: I know what you're talking about.
- 20:48Speaker 3: She's has set Don Draper's secretary in Medman, Elizabeth Monks.
- 20:55Speaker 1: Not familiar. She sounds sweet though.
- 20:58Speaker 3: She's goodt I got I got some we haven't done
- 21:03Speaker 3: this in a long time. I have some airplane questions
- 21:07Speaker 3: for you guys.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Oh yeah, just fresh off off.
- 21:11Speaker 3: I got some etiquette questions.
- 21:14Speaker 1: You should I've got Yeah, you said you guys both
- 21:16Speaker 1: saw the three sixties.
- 21:19Speaker 3: I didn't see it this recently.
- 21:21Speaker 5: Yeah, I saw adulta three sixties.
- 21:23Speaker 3: I paid my respect.
- 21:25Speaker 5: I said, let me shake your.
- 21:28Speaker 3: I want to shake your head.
- 21:31Speaker 1: So you guys have been flying a bunch obviously tour dates.
- 21:34Speaker 1: You were in Phoenix, you were in Milwaukee. Yeah, what
- 21:37Speaker 1: did you what did you glean? Would you pick up?
- 21:39Speaker 1: Out there?
- 21:40Speaker 3: I mean I had a disaster, an absolute disaster of
- 21:44Speaker 3: a flight out there? Do you tell? I'm almost ashamed
- 21:46Speaker 3: to tell this because I would never want to besmirch
- 21:49Speaker 3: the name of my beloved airline, Delta. But they fucked
- 21:52Speaker 3: up in a way that I have never experienced, telling
- 21:57Speaker 3: you beyond belief what they did.
- 22:00Speaker 5: Yeah, the bubbles popped.
- 22:02Speaker 3: I had a round trip flight to Phoenix, flying out Friday,
- 22:05Speaker 3: coming back Sunday. Yeah, I tried to switch my return
- 22:09Speaker 3: flight to the earlier flight and I did that, and
- 22:13Speaker 3: just I had an eleven am flight home and I
- 22:15Speaker 3: wanted to come home on the six am. In so
- 22:18Speaker 3: doing the Delta agent I was on the phone with,
- 22:21Speaker 3: which is the Diamond medallion line to hire Briechent. Let's
- 22:26Speaker 3: just put it this way, English is their first life.
- 22:28Speaker 1: They actually are down the street.
- 22:31Speaker 3: They live in like Iowa. In doing that, he canceled
- 22:39Speaker 3: my flight out there, and I don't like by accident.
- 22:44Speaker 3: He rebooked my return flight, but it was a return,
- 22:47Speaker 3: it was a round trip ticket and deleted my flight
- 22:50Speaker 3: out there. And I didn't realize this until I was
- 22:53Speaker 3: on my way to the airport on Friday morning at
- 22:55Speaker 3: seven am and I went to check in on my phone.
- 22:59Speaker 3: No flight And I was like, where's my where's the
- 23:02Speaker 3: thing that says check in now? And there was no flight?
- 23:06Speaker 1: Good God?
- 23:07Speaker 3: And I had used a global Upgrade certificate to upgrade
- 23:11Speaker 3: to first class because that flight to Phoenix is for
- 23:13Speaker 3: whatever reason, long, like the fucking Sydney Australia. I don't
- 23:19Speaker 3: know what the fuck is going on with the latitude
- 23:22Speaker 3: longitude placement of Phoenix, but it is farther to Phoenix
- 23:27Speaker 3: than it is to LA I don't care what.
- 23:29Speaker 1: The Phoenix suns because that's where it is, like you
- 23:31Speaker 1: literally have to go out of to get there.
- 23:34Speaker 3: Yeah, So I I call Delta again and I'm like,
- 23:40Speaker 3: what's going on here? Why'd you why would you ever
- 23:42Speaker 3: have deleted my outbound flight on a round trip?
- 23:45Speaker 1: Probably a different agent there talking.
- 23:49Speaker 3: She's like, I can see why that wouldn't make any sense.
- 23:52Speaker 3: And as a token of our consolation, we will reward
- 23:56Speaker 3: you with twenty five thousand miles. And I was like,
- 23:59Speaker 3: that's not fucking enough.
- 24:01Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean what that's like fifteen dollars.
- 24:05Speaker 3: Well, technically it's two hundred and fifty dollars, but it's
- 24:08Speaker 3: not even closer to the one. I have one point
- 24:10Speaker 3: two million miles right now. I don't need more. That's
- 24:12Speaker 3: a drop in the bucket. I don't need more miles. Yeah,
- 24:15Speaker 3: so that's insane. They booked me a new flight, and
- 24:19Speaker 3: now I'm in a middle row and coach on the
- 24:22Speaker 3: way to Phoenix.
- 24:23Speaker 5: Yeah, did you get.
- 24:24Speaker 3: Your I got off. I got off. Yeah, I got
- 24:28Speaker 3: off the plane, and it felt like I had been
- 24:30Speaker 3: in a six car accident in a one day period.
- 24:35Speaker 3: Like my lower back, the pain that I was.
- 24:38Speaker 5: In, I'm on screaming right now.
- 24:39Speaker 3: And I was of course, I'm sitting next to a
- 24:42Speaker 3: guy who can dunk standing. Oh yeah, and you know,
- 24:46Speaker 3: I mean, and he's just not his arm is so
- 24:53Speaker 3: far over the fucking arm.
- 24:55Speaker 1: Rest can't help. It's just draftnick.
- 24:57Speaker 3: And yeah, so here's my question, because I was super
- 25:01Speaker 3: uncomfortable there there's there's two questions. The woman to my
- 25:05Speaker 3: left the entire flight five and a half hours, had
- 25:11Speaker 3: the reading light on, but she didn't read. She was
- 25:17Speaker 3: just looking at her phone.
- 25:19Speaker 5: That I've been there, I've seen that.
- 25:21Speaker 3: And I kept thinking, what is the Is this a
- 25:25Speaker 3: comfort thing?
- 25:26Speaker 5: Was it dark?
- 25:27Speaker 3: It was eight in the morning, Like it's a flight
- 25:30Speaker 3: that people would probably want to sleep on. Yeah, you know,
- 25:34Speaker 3: and I couldn't because I'm sitting next to somebody who
- 25:36Speaker 3: wants to perform surgery.
- 25:38Speaker 1: Yeah, you're expecting first class etiquette from somebody.
- 25:43Speaker 3: And uh, why under the plane am I allowed to
- 25:47Speaker 3: ask her to turn the light off?
- 25:49Speaker 1: No, here's a problem.
- 25:50Speaker 3: Unfortunately, now I didn't.
- 25:51Speaker 1: Here's an all pro passive aggressive move. You turn off
- 25:54Speaker 1: her light, and then if she says anything, you're like,
- 25:57Speaker 1: oh my god, I turned off your life. I thought
- 25:58Speaker 1: that was my light? Did I try?
- 26:01Speaker 3: I should have done that. That's classic Roan thinking, just.
- 26:04Speaker 1: Some classic passive aggression.
- 26:06Speaker 3: So what happened was the flight ended and I did
- 26:12Speaker 3: something that was slightly passive aggressive, but because I knew
- 26:15Speaker 3: I wasn't going to ever see her again, and I said,
- 26:17Speaker 3: do you do you keep that light on all the flight?
- 26:21Speaker 3: As like a comfort thing. Is that? Like, what is that?
- 26:24Speaker 3: She goes. I didn't even realize it was on.
- 26:28Speaker 1: I could see that too. She was just coasting.
- 26:31Speaker 3: I was like, how could you be that fucking oblivious?
- 26:34Speaker 3: The rest of the plane.
- 26:34Speaker 5: She noticed the massive glare from her phone.
- 26:39Speaker 3: It was really I.
- 26:40Speaker 1: Felt my eyebrows.
- 26:42Speaker 3: I didn't know what it's like. It was like she
- 26:45Speaker 3: was performing a solo in a dark musical.
- 26:50Speaker 5: I've had a red eye with that. Do next to
- 26:52Speaker 5: me was just reading the whole time. I was like,
- 26:57Speaker 5: at that point, there's nothing you can because I'm not
- 26:58Speaker 5: going to be like you can't read.
- 27:00Speaker 1: No, that's what it's intended for.
- 27:02Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean it's a bright light, especially when it's
- 27:06Speaker 5: like actually like pitch black on the plane.
- 27:08Speaker 3: Yeah, it lights up the whole area.
- 27:12Speaker 1: I've had a theory about Delta recently that like if
- 27:15Speaker 1: you peel back that blue background with the red triangle
- 27:19Speaker 1: on it, there's like a little yellow behind that. Oh yeah,
- 27:23Speaker 1: if you take that stick off and they just put
- 27:28Speaker 1: the stick on the yellow, they put some pennies over
- 27:31Speaker 1: like the yellow, there's yellow behind there for sure, and
- 27:36Speaker 1: it's changed. Just chip away at that.
- 27:41Speaker 5: That's so funny. That you can just there's just a
- 27:45Speaker 5: full spirit playing under.
- 27:48Speaker 6: Just.
- 27:52Speaker 3: Like ripping down the frame poster.
- 27:58Speaker 1: We didn't want you to know, mister.
- 28:02Speaker 5: It's just one clean wrap. Surprised.
- 28:09Speaker 3: I have I have another ediquate etiquette question, and that
- 28:13Speaker 3: is when you get up. I think there's two types
- 28:17Speaker 3: of people in the world. This isn't so much an
- 28:19Speaker 3: etiquete question as it as it is an observation. But
- 28:22Speaker 3: there's two types of people in the world. When you
- 28:24Speaker 3: get up to go use the bathroom in the back
- 28:27Speaker 3: of the plane, as you walk down the aisle, so
- 28:31Speaker 3: many people are sleeping and their parts of their body
- 28:34Speaker 3: are leaking out into the aisle a little bit. And
- 28:37Speaker 3: there are people like me who do everything that I
- 28:41Speaker 3: can not to touch those people. And then there are
- 28:44Speaker 3: people who just fucking barrel through and bang and fucking yeah,
- 28:51Speaker 3: they don't care. This is the aisle, this is my space.
- 28:53Speaker 3: If you're in it, I'm waking you up.
- 28:55Speaker 5: You know who does that attendant exactly?
- 28:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't have a problem with them doing it.
- 29:00Speaker 5: Oh I do when they're bringing down that fucking eight tons, Yeah,
- 29:05Speaker 5: it is that drink car. I'm surprised the plane can
- 29:08Speaker 5: get off the ground with that drink.
- 29:11Speaker 1: They should put the black box in the drink car.
- 29:14Speaker 5: I mean that thing is nine pounds.
- 29:16Speaker 3: Famously, it's what averted flight ninety three from potentially landing.
- 29:20Speaker 3: Oh yeah, and you know, maybe a white house.
- 29:23Speaker 1: That's why I crashed though, because it just went right
- 29:24Speaker 1: to the front of the plane.
- 29:25Speaker 3: Exactly pushing it exactly. Well, they pushed it to the front,
- 29:28Speaker 3: and that tipped the flame into the die because it
- 29:32Speaker 3: couldn't sustain It's it's left for what the fuck? Okay,
- 29:40Speaker 3: So yeah, so I think that, Uh do you guys
- 29:43Speaker 3: when you're walking down the aisle do you try not
- 29:44Speaker 3: to touch people?
- 29:45Speaker 5: I try to touch people. One thing that I have
- 29:47Speaker 5: a problem with sometimes though, is I'll notice that I
- 29:49Speaker 5: grab the head rest. You do that occasionally. You're one
- 29:53Speaker 5: of those catch myself slipping.
- 29:55Speaker 3: That's not ninety five year old.
- 29:57Speaker 5: Oh, I mean, you know, if you're on it, it's
- 29:58Speaker 5: more so I would actually say do that. More so
- 30:00Speaker 5: on the train.
- 30:02Speaker 3: I was gonna say, that's a bus move.
- 30:04Speaker 1: Yeah, but it is like I did it here George
- 30:06Speaker 1: and the jungling through Tarzan from vine to vine. Yeah,
- 30:09Speaker 1: just touching both sides.
- 30:11Speaker 5: Pretty much about about an hour ago.
- 30:13Speaker 3: I did it bad, like Bane in the opening scene. Yeah,
- 30:17Speaker 3: when he's in the plane just falling through.
- 30:20Speaker 5: Yeah. I was on the inside and I was getting
- 30:23Speaker 5: into my seat, and I realized that I was just
- 30:25Speaker 5: fully like holding on the person or one like like
- 30:30Speaker 5: bringing them back.
- 30:34Speaker 3: I don't like that.
- 30:35Speaker 1: I immediately it was like, I don't know why I
- 30:37Speaker 1: just did that, just a bad instincts.
- 30:40Speaker 3: I love that we're learning here.
- 30:41Speaker 5: Well, I got another. I got a plan one.
- 30:43Speaker 3: If if I have one more, go ahead, though, go ahead.
- 30:46Speaker 5: Well, I was in the LaGuardia choked.
- 30:49Speaker 1: It's done.
- 30:50Speaker 5: It's done.
- 30:53Speaker 3: I think it's even getting better. It's over.
- 30:56Speaker 1: I mean, obviously you guys are both in the I.
- 30:58Speaker 5: Would say, the last forty times I've flown out of LaGuardia,
- 31:04Speaker 5: I've waited at security for maybe three minutes tops in
- 31:09Speaker 5: and out. You could get to the you could get
- 31:11Speaker 5: to LaGuardia one minute.
- 31:12Speaker 3: Before you start wait? Why is that? Why is it bad?
- 31:15Speaker 5: I'm now I'm gonna do well, I'm gonna talk about
- 31:16Speaker 5: what's going on currently, So I guess no. I would
- 31:20Speaker 5: say the last I worded that poorly. Last thirty eight
- 31:23Speaker 5: flights I've taken out of LaGuardia the last two. I've
- 31:27Speaker 5: waited in line for thirty plus minutes, and it's because
- 31:31Speaker 5: they've done something new. Where it used to be Clear
- 31:36Speaker 5: would cut just one line, there was that one line.
- 31:39Speaker 5: Whatever line's closest to Clear, they cut in front. Clear
- 31:43Speaker 5: now cuts every single line at the it is.
- 31:48Speaker 3: You don't have Clear, I do. That's why aren't you
- 31:50Speaker 3: going in the clear line? Then?
- 31:51Speaker 5: Because forever it's been slower than the Sky Priority line.
- 31:55Speaker 3: So why don't you just switch to Clear?
- 31:56Speaker 5: Because I have a fucking despise Clear and everything they
- 31:59Speaker 5: stand for. I've destroyed the airport.
- 32:02Speaker 1: You're part of it.
- 32:03Speaker 5: You're part of the probably canceled my subscription.
- 32:05Speaker 1: Brother, you cancel you don't, and I can't.
- 32:08Speaker 5: Well I have it until the end of the month.
- 32:10Speaker 1: And you still got dummied by it.
- 32:12Speaker 3: Dude.
- 32:12Speaker 5: I waited in line, just standing there. I'm in the
- 32:16Speaker 5: front of the line, think about and it's just clear
- 32:19Speaker 5: people or the yeah, next guy, next guy. And then
- 32:21Speaker 5: I got these fucking I don't throw around the word
- 32:24Speaker 5: a lot. Bitch behind me, bitch behind me in my
- 32:31Speaker 5: just dogging in my ear. You could go, You're probably
- 32:34Speaker 5: get to go. You can go you're probably good to go.
- 32:36Speaker 5: And I turned around and said, where would I possibly
- 32:39Speaker 5: be going?
- 32:42Speaker 1: You gave it her.
- 32:43Speaker 5: I literally said that, I said where would I possibly
- 32:45Speaker 5: be going? And when I turned around and said that,
- 32:51Speaker 5: she looked at me like I just called her like
- 32:53Speaker 5: the worst slur, I mean, dude, Like it was like
- 32:56Speaker 5: she saw a ghost. And I said, the CLEAR people
- 32:59Speaker 5: are cutting in front of every line. There's nowhere for
- 33:02Speaker 5: me to go. I have to wait until they call me,
- 33:04Speaker 5: and then they call me, I go.
- 33:08Speaker 1: Did you say anything else after that?
- 33:10Speaker 5: Yes, backtracking here a little bit.
- 33:12Speaker 3: I can't believe you have clear and you are complaining.
- 33:17Speaker 5: I'm backtracking here a little bit. And it got to
- 33:20Speaker 5: a point where I almost said something to the dude,
- 33:22Speaker 5: and then I was like, that's only going to just
- 33:24Speaker 5: cause so many more problems.
- 33:26Speaker 1: Well, the CEOP are yeah, the people that work get CLEAR.
- 33:30Speaker 5: But I was about to throw a snarky because, dude,
- 33:34Speaker 5: you go to I've had I have clear, I've used clear.
- 33:36Speaker 3: You go to clear.
- 33:37Speaker 5: The whole point of clear is so that you don't
- 33:39Speaker 5: have to show your I D It's the entire point
- 33:41Speaker 5: of information is plugged in. You do a scan. Now
- 33:47Speaker 5: you do that, you go to Clear, you do the scan,
- 33:49Speaker 5: then you got to go do another scan and show
- 33:51Speaker 5: your I D. So it's like they're slowing everything.
- 33:55Speaker 3: You're randomly selected, which happens to me, it happens to everyone.
- 34:01Speaker 5: And also everyone has to do the face scan. Fine,
- 34:04Speaker 5: so you got to do two face scans for CLEAR.
- 34:06Speaker 3: Yeah, that's slowly. The idea has only happened when when
- 34:09Speaker 3: I've been randomly selected, which I always.
- 34:11Speaker 5: It's every time. Okay, anyways, so moving on. I get through.
- 34:14Speaker 5: Now I'm waiting in line to get my bag.
- 34:17Speaker 3: It iska.
- 34:18Speaker 5: The airport's chaos, and this is all of this is
- 34:22Speaker 5: because of Clear, all of it. And I'm waiting. There's
- 34:26Speaker 5: no bins. Everything every since there's four stations to put
- 34:30Speaker 5: your bags in. All the people are standing there. There's
- 34:34Speaker 5: one of the guys walks away and goes and there's
- 34:36Speaker 5: an open slot no bins. Though there's zero bins, everyone
- 34:39Speaker 5: is aware there's no bins. Same girl, you could probably go,
- 34:43Speaker 5: you're good to go. And I turned around and I
- 34:45Speaker 5: said there's no bins and I was like, where do
- 34:49Speaker 5: you want me to go? I was laughing when I
- 34:51Speaker 5: said it. At this point, I'm like I was laughing,
- 34:54Speaker 5: and it was like, dude, it's one of those moments
- 34:56Speaker 5: where it's like it's all adrenaline. Like I was so mad.
- 35:00Speaker 5: I was like, I can't believe you're talking again, Like
- 35:01Speaker 5: you're saying something again. I was like, this is my
- 35:05Speaker 5: third flight this week, Like I know how to walk
- 35:07Speaker 5: around an airport, like I want to make my flight
- 35:11Speaker 5: just as bad as you. I'm not just standing here
- 35:13Speaker 5: like I guess I'll just hold up the line for everybody.
- 35:16Speaker 5: So I turned around. I was literally laughing, and I
- 35:19Speaker 5: was like, I was like, where do you want me
- 35:21Speaker 5: to go?
- 35:22Speaker 1: Yes.
- 35:23Speaker 5: I was like, there's no bins coming through, Like I'm
- 35:25Speaker 5: just saying, we're all waiting, yeah, And then she was
- 35:28Speaker 5: like like literally like trembling. She couldn't say anything. And
- 35:32Speaker 5: then I just turned around and waited and then that
- 35:35Speaker 5: was it. But I mean, I.
- 35:37Speaker 1: Like you getting confrontational though. It's like nice that you're
- 35:40Speaker 1: kind of graduating into that.
- 35:41Speaker 5: Well that was I mean, dude, I don't get confrontational
- 35:44Speaker 5: at any scenario outside of the airport, but I.
- 35:46Speaker 1: Got you're hard in New Yorker though, Like you just
- 35:48Speaker 1: are outside just being like fuck off. If I'm fucking wait, just.
- 35:53Speaker 5: Barking in my ear when there's nothing anyone can do,
- 35:55Speaker 5: cause it's like it's like a when you're in the
- 35:58Speaker 5: sky priority lane. There's a lot of people who and
- 36:01Speaker 5: I'm one of them included. You have this mindset of
- 36:04Speaker 5: like I fly all the time, I know what I'm doing.
- 36:06Speaker 5: I could get in and out of security in one minute.
- 36:09Speaker 1: And she was trying to Yes, she was trying to
- 36:11Speaker 1: pull that on me. But I was like, I'm in
- 36:14Speaker 1: the same line as you. Yes, and that's fucking despicable. Yes, pandemic.
- 36:21Speaker 5: Can I get fixplaining to a Delta Diamond medallion the badge?
- 36:25Speaker 1: Yeah, like I saw a three sixties Yeah, uh, and
- 36:28Speaker 1: I know what that means.
- 36:30Speaker 5: Airport like the back of my hands.
- 36:31Speaker 3: Bring up your status.
- 36:32Speaker 1: Right, mile for mine. Let's go last five years, mile
- 36:38Speaker 1: for mile. Can we get a physical description on this lady?
- 36:43Speaker 1: Perhaps what she was wearing blazer.
- 36:47Speaker 5: Business immedia media And when I turned around and saw
- 36:51Speaker 5: that blazer.
- 36:52Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, well I open season. She had a blazer
- 36:58Speaker 3: and it was a bulge in the front pocket and
- 37:00Speaker 3: it was a baseball that she took from a father
- 37:03Speaker 3: who wanted to give it to a kid. That's who
- 37:05Speaker 3: that was.
- 37:06Speaker 1: What was an age range? Would she wear pants or
- 37:08Speaker 1: a skirt?
- 37:09Speaker 3: Pants?
- 37:10Speaker 5: She was probably not that much older than me. I
- 37:13Speaker 5: like the woman forty years five years more than me.
- 37:16Speaker 3: This woman sounds.
- 37:17Speaker 1: So she thinks she is the world by it.
- 37:18Speaker 5: She thought she she thought she was in charge, and
- 37:21Speaker 5: someone had to sit her down and say, you are
- 37:23Speaker 5: not in charge.
- 37:24Speaker 3: I've been looking for a dom lately, and uh.
- 37:27Speaker 5: Oh, she's not a DOM. That's the thing.
- 37:29Speaker 3: You don't think.
- 37:30Speaker 1: No, she's like a Karen who's like trying to wear
- 37:33Speaker 1: that domb clothing. She gets called out of her name, and.
- 37:38Speaker 5: She's a masking as.
- 37:39Speaker 3: A dom rescuerading because she was a real dom.
- 37:42Speaker 5: When I turned around, she would have had something to say.
- 37:44Speaker 3: She would have taken your items and put them on
- 37:46Speaker 3: the thing that right, Yeah, because she's.
- 37:48Speaker 5: Probably used to that. She's probably used to just sitting
- 37:50Speaker 5: in line, just barking at everyone. Yeah, and no one
- 37:52Speaker 5: says anything.
- 37:53Speaker 1: Her poor boyfriend, dude, he's probably hating life. She probably
- 37:57Speaker 1: gets away with everything. No back talking that house.
- 38:01Speaker 5: But yeah, the airport. You do gotta get vocal.
- 38:04Speaker 1: You have to.
- 38:05Speaker 5: I got vocal. I got I don't even think I
- 38:06Speaker 5: told this one. This was when I was going to
- 38:08Speaker 5: did I tell the story when I was going to Wyoming?
- 38:11Speaker 1: I think, so, you're getting vocal.
- 38:14Speaker 5: It was when I told the lady that I told
- 38:16Speaker 5: the lady, the lady that was checking the bag, I said,
- 38:19Speaker 5: you're not listening to what I'm saying. And then that
- 38:22Speaker 5: was like they shut it down.
- 38:27Speaker 3: I would never speak back to.
- 38:30Speaker 1: This was a gate, this was this was like someone
- 38:32Speaker 1: that worked for Delta TSA is no nonsense. They clear
- 38:36Speaker 1: are thoksles is like they're no nonsense.
- 38:40Speaker 5: When the clear, when you go up that escalator and
- 38:42Speaker 5: the clear guys are waiting you clear, I almost it
- 38:44Speaker 5: almost comes to fists every time.
- 38:46Speaker 1: And like cause you can't even ignore them, like you
- 38:48Speaker 1: have clear? Do you have clear?
- 38:49Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 38:50Speaker 1: Unlike you have to tell them no right away yea.
- 38:53Speaker 1: And it's like you're breaking their heart. And they're also
- 38:55Speaker 1: just square it up with you, hip to hip with
- 38:57Speaker 1: you in front of you.
- 38:58Speaker 5: They got people, they got people already you now trying
- 39:01Speaker 5: to sell you the Delta credit card while you're walking.
- 39:04Speaker 5: You're dude, You're walking to your gate and people are
- 39:06Speaker 5: coming up to you with iPads though this is this
- 39:10Speaker 5: is an airport.
- 39:12Speaker 1: Though Delta is not the same thing anymore. Like Delta
- 39:14Speaker 1: is like more focused on the credit card than they
- 39:17Speaker 1: are on getting planes from A to B. I hate
- 39:19Speaker 1: to say it, but I'm pretty sure that Delta could
- 39:21Speaker 1: have like a engine thing soon.
- 39:23Speaker 5: Yeah, I could see it.
- 39:24Speaker 1: They're not They're like, they're not spending on tech. They're
- 39:27Speaker 1: not spending on like dude I was.
- 39:28Speaker 5: Saying this week's ago, I said, their fleet, their fleet.
- 39:31Speaker 1: It's a bump ass fleet.
- 39:32Speaker 5: It's an aged fleet.
- 39:33Speaker 3: I had a nice plane going out and coming well,
- 39:36Speaker 3: because you.
- 39:36Speaker 5: Were on that long flight. Yeah, but that's the only
- 39:38Speaker 5: one where you get a nice plane. All the other
- 39:40Speaker 5: ones it's like you're flying on a fucking sesna.
- 39:42Speaker 3: Mm hmm. Okay, I got I think you'll like this,
- 39:46Speaker 3: and I'm excited to hear where you stand on this.
- 39:49Speaker 3: Both of you send it my way. Let's say that
- 39:51Speaker 3: you get to your gate and you're a little bit late, right,
- 39:55Speaker 3: and you're a sky priority barrel holder, barrel Okay, but
- 39:59Speaker 3: hold on, hold on, hold on by.
- 40:01Speaker 1: Now other lane, I'm still taking it and I'm going right.
- 40:05Speaker 3: To the front. That's exactly what I would both of you. Yes,
- 40:08Speaker 3: I think that is such bad form. I think that's so.
- 40:14Speaker 5: Bad, I will say, I agree, I used to not.
- 40:17Speaker 3: If we aren't clear, here's what we mean. When you
- 40:20Speaker 3: get there now they're groups boarding groups seven. It's the
- 40:24Speaker 3: end of the fucking plane and there's maybe twelve people
- 40:27Speaker 3: in line, but there's still that lane to the right
- 40:30Speaker 3: of the general boarding. That is for sky Priority members
- 40:33Speaker 3: where you go. If you are there early.
- 40:36Speaker 5: It's boarding zone one.
- 40:37Speaker 3: By Now you're late and you're just going to try
- 40:41Speaker 3: to cut the remaining nine people.
- 40:46Speaker 1: That's what that's what Sky Priority.
- 40:48Speaker 3: Unfortunately, I can't do it. I think that if I
- 40:51Speaker 3: get there late, I just belong in the back of
- 40:53Speaker 3: the line. Everyone else. Something you can't do.
- 40:56Speaker 5: Something you have to consider as if you have overhead baggage,
- 41:00Speaker 5: because now I'm thinking, like so, I used to not
- 41:03Speaker 5: do that.
- 41:03Speaker 3: I used to wait with everyone.
- 41:05Speaker 5: I used to be like, yeah, I'll just wait.
- 41:06Speaker 3: I don't care.
- 41:06Speaker 5: But like, see, I got two bags here. They both
- 41:08Speaker 5: got to go in the overhead.
- 41:10Speaker 3: Both of them.
- 41:10Speaker 5: Well this one sometimes not.
- 41:12Speaker 3: But you're two bags in the overhead.
- 41:14Speaker 5: Guy, only if I'm sitting frost that's bad.
- 41:16Speaker 1: No no, no, no no no no no no no
- 41:18Speaker 1: no no.
- 41:19Speaker 3: I don't like that. You're twisting my one between you
- 41:21Speaker 3: twisting one up.
- 41:22Speaker 5: You're twisting my words.
- 41:23Speaker 3: You literally said both of them.
- 41:25Speaker 5: On my flight to Milwaukee, I was one A. You
- 41:29Speaker 5: can't have a bag. There's nowhere to put your bag.
- 41:31Speaker 3: They put it up to that's a totally fair exception.
- 41:33Speaker 5: So I'm saying if I got a bag, and even
- 41:36Speaker 5: this bag, like if you're saying there's not a lot
- 41:37Speaker 5: of these Delta planes they have no overhead storage because
- 41:41Speaker 5: there were planes from nineteen.
- 41:42Speaker 3: Forty, Well, Milwaukee, it's two hours.
- 41:45Speaker 1: You could put like your portfolio in there. You put
- 41:47Speaker 1: like a Manila envelope up top.
- 41:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 41:49Speaker 5: Also, when did it become a thing like a two
- 41:51Speaker 5: hour flight is still a long flight? Like they're like, well, yeah,
- 41:55Speaker 5: you're gonna have no Wi Fi and no TV and
- 41:58Speaker 5: no snacks and no drinks because it's only a two
- 42:00Speaker 5: hour flight. That's the that's the norm flight.
- 42:02Speaker 3: They're still snacking on that. They're snacking you.
- 42:05Speaker 1: It's a pretzel rod.
- 42:07Speaker 3: You're not getting the basket you're in one A, you're
- 42:09Speaker 3: not getting the front fucking hell, what a what a martyr,
- 42:15Speaker 3: You're just Charlie kirking your way towards Delta right now
- 42:19Speaker 3: and thinking that we're gonna fucking hold you up. I
- 42:22Speaker 3: make it.
- 42:22Speaker 5: I make it known. Like they're like, you want any
- 42:25Speaker 5: snacks or water, and I say I'm fine meal water.
- 42:28Speaker 5: You say no, you say I don't want any of
- 42:31Speaker 5: their handouts?
- 42:32Speaker 1: Why?
- 42:32Speaker 5: Because I'm anti as I what airline feed a people's airline.
- 42:39Speaker 3: For you to not go in the clear line when
- 42:42Speaker 3: you see that it's moving faster just out of some weird.
- 42:46Speaker 5: No, that's not protest, dude, this guy Priority line has
- 42:49Speaker 5: never had more than two people waiting.
- 42:52Speaker 3: Okay, that's the thing. Why think that your anger given
- 42:56Speaker 3: that you are a clear member? But it makes no
- 42:59Speaker 3: sense to me clear too.
- 43:01Speaker 1: But I think the bitch and the blazer, like she's
- 43:03Speaker 1: just Sky Priority to Like, she's not clear, she's not
- 43:07Speaker 1: t s a pre check. She's in the Sky Priority
- 43:09Speaker 1: line trying to bark orders like it's like her first
- 43:12Speaker 1: day at the airport. You're trying to beat the system.
- 43:14Speaker 1: I'm trying to like, she's like she has no status exactly.
- 43:17Speaker 5: Exactly, she was statusless.
- 43:19Speaker 3: Look, none of us like her.
- 43:23Speaker 1: Face, none of us like her. Okay, yeah, it's nice
- 43:27Speaker 1: to be by the.
- 43:27Speaker 3: Way the right way. I'm supposed to say that is
- 43:29Speaker 3: none of us likes her.
- 43:33Speaker 5: To explain that to us. In like middle school.
- 43:35Speaker 3: None is a contraction of no one, which makes it singular.
- 43:39Speaker 3: They subject.
- 43:40Speaker 5: We were taught that. I think everyone, including the teacher,
- 43:43Speaker 5: was like, well, let's just forget about that. Were like,
- 43:49Speaker 5: no one speaks like that.
- 43:51Speaker 3: Sounds so wrong, It sounds so incorrect.
- 43:55Speaker 5: I remember learning that and being like, I've never heard
- 43:58Speaker 5: a single person say ever.
- 44:00Speaker 3: Sounds really wrong because none is so broad. Yeah, and
- 44:04Speaker 3: but it is correct.
- 44:06Speaker 5: And that'll lead me to my next topic, which is
- 44:08Speaker 5: we need to update the curriculum in the public school system.
- 44:14Speaker 1: Yes, I fucking know, dude, it's been pissing me off.
- 44:18Speaker 5: But yeah, clear I hate and I've said it before.
- 44:20Speaker 5: It's just because it's everyone has it. There's no point
- 44:23Speaker 5: in having an exclusive line if it's you order. I mean, dude,
- 44:26Speaker 5: you could literally go to the bodega downstairs and be like,
- 44:29Speaker 5: can I get a water and they'll be like, you
- 44:31Speaker 5: just got six years of clear for free.
- 44:33Speaker 3: I think for me, rats, I think it's for me.
- 44:35Speaker 3: It's knowing I have the options and having all those
- 44:38Speaker 3: arrows in my quiver means that I can pick and choose,
- 44:41Speaker 3: and if I get it wrong, it's on me because
- 44:44Speaker 3: I had all the options.
- 44:45Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 44:45Speaker 3: The thing is, i've you've been gaming. You've been gaming
- 44:47Speaker 3: the system.
- 44:48Speaker 5: I have and they cracked down.
- 44:50Speaker 3: You're not doing Do you have visual ID?
- 44:53Speaker 5: No, I don't have anything. All I have is pre
- 44:56Speaker 5: check or I don't even have pre check. All I
- 44:57Speaker 5: have is clear and Priority.
- 44:59Speaker 1: You don't just got rid of clear. Yeah, so you
- 45:02Speaker 1: just put yourself in the stone age.
- 45:04Speaker 5: I just I'm done giving my money away.
- 45:05Speaker 3: You might as well just go work at the airport. Dude,
- 45:09Speaker 3: what are you doing?
- 45:09Speaker 1: I just I just work at the tomorrow.
- 45:12Speaker 3: How many how many tour dates do you have this fall?
- 45:16Speaker 5: I think like four more, but I think only like
- 45:19Speaker 5: one of them I have to fly for.
- 45:20Speaker 3: Oh well, okay, all right, that's not so bad.
- 45:23Speaker 1: Still though, this is that's fucking dumb. Yeah, man, this
- 45:26Speaker 1: is like that's one of the most worthwhile. Like getting
- 45:29Speaker 1: the things to make the airport easier makes one of
- 45:31Speaker 1: the worst things tolerable, borderline enjoyable.
- 45:35Speaker 5: Well, I'm gonna get I think I'm gonna get t
- 45:37Speaker 5: S a pre check because I think I gotta do
- 45:39Speaker 5: that because the problem.
- 45:40Speaker 3: Is I can't believe you don't have t S.
- 45:43Speaker 4: You gotta go.
- 45:44Speaker 5: You gotta go to like a Staples, right, sit down.
- 45:47Speaker 3: You can go at the airport so you get there
- 45:48Speaker 3: a little bit early.
- 45:51Speaker 1: Or just go to the fucking Staples, like the Staples.
- 45:53Speaker 1: You just book an appointment or the.
- 45:57Speaker 5: Last. That's actually not a bad idea.
- 45:59Speaker 3: They don't to the best totally kidding naming the one
- 46:03Speaker 3: place that you're willing to get at Staples.
- 46:05Speaker 5: It's not that far of a stretch that they do
- 46:07Speaker 5: it at Best Buy.
- 46:10Speaker 1: How is Staples? How does Staples have the clearance to
- 46:13Speaker 1: be able to do.
- 46:13Speaker 5: Have no idea? It might just be like a New
- 46:16Speaker 5: York City.
- 46:17Speaker 1: No, I think it's everywhere everywhere, but even still like
- 46:20Speaker 1: what is what? Who worked in Staples? Like that that
- 46:22Speaker 1: has the ability to like, can you do me a favorite?
- 46:27Speaker 3: Can I? Can I say say something that you should do? Sure?
- 46:30Speaker 3: So what you should do is you should do the
- 46:33Speaker 3: Global Entry interview, Yeah, which you do at an airport, and.
- 46:37Speaker 1: That they come to the office, they come to barstool Sports.
- 46:41Speaker 5: This they did come for Global Entry, but that's only
- 46:43Speaker 5: if you're going to Canada.
- 46:44Speaker 3: But global Entry gives you t S a pre so
- 46:48Speaker 3: you get both.
- 46:50Speaker 5: Yeah, I'll do that.
- 46:50Speaker 3: Two birds one stone, I'll do that for sure.
- 46:53Speaker 1: For sure, let's all do a little. I need to
- 46:55Speaker 1: get global entry too.
- 46:57Speaker 3: You don't have it all right.
- 46:58Speaker 6: When cool me Ranch meets tay Bold Buffalo, the whole
- 47:03Speaker 6: is greater than the sum of its sauce. Say howdy,
- 47:06Speaker 6: partner to new Buffalo Ram sauce only at McDonald's for

- 48:17Speaker 1: Pink Whitney.
- 48:18Speaker 5: That's what I thought.
- 48:19Speaker 1: See it fellas I invented the thing.
- 48:21Speaker 5: You pigeoned Pink Whitney for legendary moments. The thing is, though,
- 48:25Speaker 5: it's like the thing with cream Check is like you fly.
- 48:29Speaker 5: Like the reason I haven't done it is because you
- 48:31Speaker 5: fly so much. It's like, yeah, I could go do
- 48:34Speaker 5: I could go to Staples this week, but this week
- 48:38Speaker 5: I'm not flying, So no part of me is going
- 48:40Speaker 5: to be.
- 48:40Speaker 1: Like, well, you're not gonna get it for like six
- 48:42Speaker 1: weeks after you go to Staples anyway. Really, yeah, you
- 48:45Speaker 1: don't get it right away.
- 48:46Speaker 5: Oh that's insane, this is crazy.
- 48:48Speaker 3: Yeah, you're not gonna go to Staples this week. The
- 48:50Speaker 3: horses are still hobbled from the last journey into town.
- 48:55Speaker 3: You need to have that wagon axle.
- 48:58Speaker 1: Supplies for the winter. That there's the roads.
- 49:01Speaker 3: The roads are a little washed out from the flood.
- 49:03Speaker 5: I just don't got time for staples. I'm I'm a
- 49:06Speaker 5: busy man.
- 49:08Speaker 3: And the one doctor in the thousand mile radius, he's
- 49:11Speaker 3: the way took his daughter to college.
- 49:15Speaker 5: You guys, fuck with my computer bag.
- 49:18Speaker 3: I fuck with it on the grounds that you promised me.
- 49:22Speaker 3: You're still putting that below your legs when you have
- 49:25Speaker 3: the option.
- 49:25Speaker 5: That's why I bought it, because I was like, now
- 49:28Speaker 5: I can have all of my goodies in here.
- 49:29Speaker 3: Anyone who puts two bags up in the overhead is
- 49:32Speaker 3: a fucking dick.
- 49:33Speaker 1: Can you do an unbagging for us? Sure? What have
- 49:36Speaker 1: you got in there?
- 49:38Speaker 5: And what do I not have?
- 49:40Speaker 1: So obviously the lappie toppy for starters.
- 49:44Speaker 5: The blade The Art of Living?
- 49:49Speaker 9: Is that?
- 49:50Speaker 5: The Art of Living? By Titch not Han.
- 49:52Speaker 1: What is that uncracked book that you have there?
- 49:54Speaker 5: Uncracked?
- 49:54Speaker 3: Brother?
- 49:56Speaker 1: That that is I'm on page f Holy shit, is
- 50:01Speaker 1: that a Buddhist book?
- 50:02Speaker 3: It is just one of those things you just eat.
- 50:04Speaker 3: A man of constant surprises.
- 50:07Speaker 5: Joe List recommended me this book.
- 50:10Speaker 3: Oh well, there you go.
- 50:11Speaker 5: And I'm finally reading it almost a year later. It's great,
- 50:14Speaker 5: good book.
- 50:15Speaker 3: What else?
- 50:15Speaker 1: What else?
- 50:16Speaker 5: Got the monitor?
- 50:20Speaker 1: Well, that's a monitor, not a laptop.
- 50:22Speaker 5: It's a monitor. Got a bunch of cables.
- 50:25Speaker 3: It's cool. I think that's cool that you have that.
- 50:27Speaker 3: I like that for you.
- 50:28Speaker 5: I got my keyboard in here. Got the mouse three,
- 50:33Speaker 5: beautiful piece of a quest.
- 50:34Speaker 1: I mean, get hands on that?
- 50:36Speaker 3: Is it?
- 50:36Speaker 5: The G seven oh three?
- 50:37Speaker 3: Yeah? Light speed?
- 50:41Speaker 1: Wow, it hugs back.
- 50:42Speaker 5: Which you're really gonna want to get your hands on
- 50:43Speaker 5: those this uh, this keyboard, get your hands on this thing.
- 50:51Speaker 1: You need a little bit more oil. You needed a
- 50:52Speaker 1: little WD forty for that?
- 50:56Speaker 3: Oh my god. Yeah. I had the O two and
- 51:00Speaker 3: definitely an upgrade. Damn it.
- 51:02Speaker 5: I mean that keyboard.
- 51:06Speaker 3: If you're at home, that's real.
- 51:10Speaker 1: Yeah, Oh you're gonna like that.
- 51:12Speaker 5: Isn't that keyboard sick?
- 51:13Speaker 1: I mean the numbers are sitting like a fucking like
- 51:18Speaker 1: a hydraulically lifted like old Chevy like they like up there,
- 51:23Speaker 1: like you could go to a car show and just
- 51:25Speaker 1: be like, I'm obsessed with it. I sink those down.
- 51:28Speaker 1: What's that called what's the keyboard called.
- 51:30Speaker 5: That I believe is a razor keyboard. I don't know
- 51:34Speaker 5: what the Huntsman mini.
- 51:37Speaker 1: The Huntsman why they call it a Huntsman.
- 51:39Speaker 5: It's like they're like a gaming company, so.
- 51:41Speaker 3: Cool, they're big fan. What is it? What are these?
- 51:44Speaker 1: Run?
- 51:44Speaker 3: You was that it's like.
- 51:45Speaker 5: A hundred bones.
- 51:46Speaker 1: You should get one. I feel like it would make
- 51:48Speaker 1: uh writing something nice and funny, very satisfying.
- 51:51Speaker 5: It really would like typing on this.
- 51:53Speaker 1: I bet typing with two fingers on that.
- 51:56Speaker 3: Kind of feels like a typewriter almost and out would
- 51:59Speaker 3: be my guess. It's fun. Cormack McCarthy famously wrote all
- 52:02Speaker 3: of his books on a typewriter. Really yeah.
- 52:06Speaker 5: Jack Herroac wrote his book on on the Road one
- 52:09Speaker 5: just one long scroll in two weeks high as balls
- 52:16Speaker 5: on adderall. Do you know that?
- 52:19Speaker 3: I No, I didn't.
- 52:20Speaker 5: That's why it's like like the original. You can read
- 52:24Speaker 5: the original scroll of On the Road and it's like
- 52:28Speaker 5: you can't even understand it. There's no like paragraphs or
- 52:31Speaker 5: it's just rambling. He just did just types.
- 52:33Speaker 3: Wow. Hunter S.
- 52:34Speaker 1: Thompson wrote a nothing in Las Vegas on Heroin really
- 52:39Speaker 1: probably or probably a typewriter.
- 52:41Speaker 5: Actually, probably a typewriter.
- 52:44Speaker 1: It was one of the two, either heroin or a typewriter.
- 52:47Speaker 1: I never read on the or maybe I did.
- 52:50Speaker 3: I never read that either.
- 52:51Speaker 1: Oh really it sounds. It sounds I mean the way
- 52:54Speaker 1: you described it makes it sound trash. Been trapped in
- 52:57Speaker 1: the corner of a party talking to someone who's on
- 52:59Speaker 1: cocaine kind of. Yeah, that doesn't sound fun.
- 53:02Speaker 5: But it's like you're not actually there.
- 53:03Speaker 1: So it wasn't Robert Pattinson. Wasn't he in the movie
- 53:06Speaker 1: of On the Road or something like that?
- 53:08Speaker 6: Uh?
- 53:09Speaker 3: Was he?
- 53:09Speaker 5: Because it was the girl? Well, who's the girl from
- 53:12Speaker 5: all those movies? The Twilight movies.
- 53:14Speaker 3: Oh, I know who you're talking about.
- 53:16Speaker 5: Kristen Stuart and Stewart is in it?
- 53:20Speaker 3: Yeah, I believe maybe that's who.
- 53:22Speaker 5: It could be very wrong about that, but.
- 53:24Speaker 1: Who who actually cares?
- 53:25Speaker 3: Is it? Is it?
- 53:26Speaker 5: Kristen Stewart knew it?
- 53:27Speaker 3: When did they make a movie about that? I don't
- 53:29Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 53:31Speaker 5: It's the movies not great.
- 53:32Speaker 3: I imagine, if.
- 53:33Speaker 1: You're a car movie, you gotta watch The Green Book
- 53:38Speaker 1: or Driving Miss Daisy.
- 53:40Speaker 5: Yeah, the Green Books.
- 53:41Speaker 3: Great?
- 53:42Speaker 1: Love that that should have been trash, But somehow it
- 53:45Speaker 1: was good.
- 53:45Speaker 3: Yeah, it's great if you like white savior movies.
- 53:48Speaker 1: Which I do, which I love from my favorite doesn't
- 53:50Speaker 1: like mine's Hardball? Oh really, have you ever seen the Hardball?
- 53:56Speaker 5: I don't think so.
- 53:56Speaker 3: Now. I was gonna say, like teacher goes into inner
- 53:59Speaker 3: cities and all the kids somehow, like you know, do
- 54:03Speaker 3: well on an ap exam my favorite.
- 54:07Speaker 1: That's basically what hardball is.
- 54:08Speaker 3: But baseball, Yeah, I didn't. Actually I think what was it?
- 54:11Speaker 3: Stand and Deliver? I didn't like that one as much
- 54:14Speaker 3: because it's Morgan Freeman and he's black. If he had
- 54:16Speaker 3: been white, I would have loved it. But yeah, you
- 54:21Speaker 3: guys gotta read on the road. I can bring you
- 54:23Speaker 3: my copy.
- 54:23Speaker 1: I definitely won't be doing that.
- 54:25Speaker 3: Why it's so good?
- 54:26Speaker 1: It sounds like a like a coming of age movie
- 54:29Speaker 1: or a book, and I'm of age.
- 54:30Speaker 5: It's a great book to live live vicariously through.
- 54:34Speaker 1: But what's the what do they do? They just they
- 54:36Speaker 1: have a fuck.
- 54:36Speaker 5: Fest kind of Yeah, it's fuck fests drinking.
- 54:40Speaker 1: Why do I want to do that? But I've given
- 54:41Speaker 1: my life to Christ. What interest do you think I
- 54:44Speaker 1: have in fantasizing about?
- 54:46Speaker 3: I mean?
- 54:47Speaker 1: And the comet is as bad as doing.
- 54:49Speaker 5: You gotta go back, and you gotta after you read
- 54:51Speaker 5: the book, you can watch Jack Harrowac read the book.
- 54:53Speaker 5: He does like a like a late night show and
- 54:56Speaker 5: they like someone plays the piano and he reads like
- 54:59Speaker 5: parts of the book.
- 55:00Speaker 6: So good.
- 55:00Speaker 1: Wow, such trash.
- 55:02Speaker 5: I think of Dean Moriarty. I think of Dean Moriarty.
- 55:08Speaker 1: Tell are you sure it was adderall that he was on? Now?
- 55:10Speaker 5: I know by now the children must be crying in
- 55:12Speaker 5: the land with it. Let the children cry.
- 55:15Speaker 3: It's a night.
- 55:15Speaker 5: I think stars will be out. Don't you know that
- 55:17Speaker 5: God is poob?
- 55:20Speaker 3: I'm impressed.
- 55:21Speaker 5: I fucking love that book.
- 55:23Speaker 3: Is that you quoting from the book? Or quoting from
- 55:26Speaker 3: his reading of the book.
- 55:27Speaker 5: That's how he reads it.
- 55:28Speaker 3: I see, but that is the book. I'm impressed. I'm
- 55:31Speaker 3: happy to see you reciting literature.
- 55:35Speaker 5: I mean, that's like one of like ten books I've read.
- 55:38Speaker 5: I think I read it twice.
- 55:40Speaker 3: It's awesome.
- 55:40Speaker 1: Stop trying to dumb yourself down, fucking nerd.
- 55:43Speaker 5: Oh, it's pretty like easy to read book.
- 55:46Speaker 1: Yeah, it's written by added out beast. How's that a
- 55:50Speaker 1: nine hundred page tome?
- 55:52Speaker 3: Doing it made me think of something, So yeah, I'm
- 55:57Speaker 3: reading Team of Rivals by Doris kurn good One, which
- 56:00Speaker 3: is about.
- 56:01Speaker 5: Playing Marvel rivals, and here was my thought.
- 56:09Speaker 3: This is so random, but I had this thought, do
- 56:11Speaker 3: you guys think that the world today would have such
- 56:17Speaker 3: a negative view on slavery if we had been more
- 56:22Speaker 3: diverse about slavery? Oh?
- 56:25Speaker 5: Good question, probably, but in a different way, do.
- 56:28Speaker 3: You know what I mean? Like if it hadn't been
- 56:31Speaker 3: just black people and it like every slave staff was
- 56:38Speaker 3: comprised of equal parts white.
- 56:40Speaker 1: Asian DEI and slavery.
- 56:43Speaker 3: But then you're like, well, I'm surprised that progressives hate
- 56:47Speaker 3: slavery because it was the world's biggest DEI hiring apparatus.
- 56:51Speaker 1: But that's silly.
- 56:53Speaker 3: Yeah, forced no, but yes, like a d if there
- 56:57Speaker 3: were DEI slavery initiatives, would we still view it. I'm
- 57:03Speaker 3: sure it would be bad, yeah, because it's all inhumane,
- 57:07Speaker 3: but it's not targeted so much at one racial Yeah,
- 57:11Speaker 3: it's a good question.
- 57:12Speaker 1: I mean, as white men, we should be signing up
- 57:14Speaker 1: for slavery exactly, you know, it's our turn around.
- 57:19Speaker 3: The reason I had this thought this led me to
- 57:21Speaker 3: the thought of it it would be nice to have
- 57:28Speaker 3: slaves today, but I would only I would, I would.
- 57:35Speaker 3: I would treat them well.
- 57:36Speaker 5: See where this is going.
- 57:37Speaker 3: I treat them well, and I would insist that they
- 57:40Speaker 3: be all, you know, ethnic groups, so that there nobody
- 57:46Speaker 3: could accuse me of being racist. Yeah, of course, right.
- 57:50Speaker 5: Yeah, people probably still pretty hung up on the slave.
- 57:58Speaker 3: I don't know. I guess, I guess we I don't know.
- 58:00Speaker 1: So what what makes slavery sound nicer than just like
- 58:03Speaker 1: paid laborers of every group? Because I want to know
- 58:05Speaker 1: what the psychology of this is.
- 58:08Speaker 3: I didn't really differentiate it too much. I'm just in
- 58:11Speaker 3: the weeds of this book where like they're talking about
- 58:14Speaker 3: what slaves do, and you're like, oh, it would be
- 58:17Speaker 3: nice if someone was here to like change the batteries
- 58:20Speaker 3: on my remote, or like go to the store for
- 58:24Speaker 3: me and get these things so that I don't have
- 58:26Speaker 3: to do that.
- 58:27Speaker 5: That's just a staff. I think, though you want a staff,
- 58:32Speaker 5: you don't want.
- 58:33Speaker 3: To have to pay I don't have the money to
- 58:34Speaker 3: pay for a personal assistant right now. Well, the thing is,
- 58:36Speaker 3: so I need.
- 58:38Speaker 5: A slave realistically, Like if you think about it, like
- 58:41Speaker 5: someone like Dave Right, he can afford hudred millions of dollars.
- 58:47Speaker 3: He can afford staff Amo.
- 58:50Speaker 5: That he's paying his people in comparison to how much
- 58:54Speaker 5: money he has, you could argue Austin as a slave.
- 59:01Speaker 3: I don't know. First of all, we don't know what
- 59:03Speaker 3: he's paying Austin. No, no, I'm not saying, but you
- 59:06Speaker 3: can't compare that. I think you have to compare Austin's
- 59:08Speaker 3: wage to the wage of other workers in his similar field.
- 59:12Speaker 3: But also I'm assuming he's paid hands like Austin.
- 59:15Speaker 5: Yeah, he probably is getting paid well, but he could
- 59:17Speaker 5: be getting paid a million dollars a year in comparison.
- 59:22Speaker 3: But then you'd argue that anyone that works for Microsoft
- 59:26Speaker 3: is a slave.
- 59:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 59:27Speaker 5: Just to be honest, I lost it a lot. I
- 59:30Speaker 5: thought I had something. I lost it.
- 59:34Speaker 3: It fell apart because ultimately they're paid by Bill Gates.
- 59:36Speaker 3: I don't think that the person who started the company.
- 59:39Speaker 1: I'm just Austin setting up pizza reviews on his laptop,
- 59:42Speaker 1: being like way.
- 59:49Speaker 3: Spiritual.
- 59:51Speaker 5: I mean, I guess, I guess. More so, what I
- 59:56Speaker 5: meant was like the amount of money. Say, Austin's getting
- 1:00:00Speaker 5: paid six figures, right, Say I don't. I don't know
- 1:00:02Speaker 5: how much money Austin gets paid. It could be, it
- 1:00:06Speaker 5: could be way more than that, could be less than that.
- 1:00:07Speaker 5: Say he's getting paid one hundred thousand dollars a year.
- 1:00:10Speaker 3: Yeah right, that.
- 1:00:12Speaker 5: Money is so little to Dave that like it's kind
- 1:00:16Speaker 5: of the equivalent of not of just not paying someone
- 1:00:20Speaker 5: to work.
- 1:00:22Speaker 3: See here's my issue.
- 1:00:23Speaker 5: I see, I'm not saying that Dave is probably a
- 1:00:25Speaker 5: bad example to be using here as well, because he's
- 1:00:27Speaker 5: my employer. I'm not trying to take a shot at
- 1:00:30Speaker 5: Dave or.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: Well, you're getting paid less than Austin probably, so you're definitely.
- 1:00:36Speaker 3: You're trying to start a union.
- 1:00:37Speaker 5: But also no, no, but also I'm not like a
- 1:00:40Speaker 5: personal I'm not a personal assistant today.
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: No, but here's the thing. Austin is an employee of barstool.
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: Yeah right, So Dave pays the salaries of all the
- 1:00:49Speaker 3: employees in the barstool, and that amount is a very
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: significant amount of his income. I mean, I think it's
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: no secret that Dave could probably let go a pretty
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: good amount of the staff and this place would still
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: generate plenty of income, which then he could allocate more
- 1:01:09Speaker 3: of that towards himself exactly because he's you know, generous,
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: he doesn't do it.
- 1:01:14Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I don't know what. I don't
- 1:01:18Speaker 5: know what.
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: I'm not trying to back you against the get your point,
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: but I think I think it's like.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: So you're saying that like Austin's like the field slave
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: and like Danielle is the house slave, or like what's.
- 1:01:28Speaker 5: The I don't know, I'm I'm sweating, I don't know.
- 1:01:33Speaker 5: I don't know what my initial point was. But just
- 1:01:36Speaker 5: scratch all of it.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: Well, Francis dragged us into the dark waters of slavery.
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: You worse than I do when I said, yeah.
- 1:01:47Speaker 5: Actually just a common misunderstanding there. But you like it
- 1:01:55Speaker 5: kind of makes sense a little bit if it would
- 1:01:58Speaker 5: only make sense in a world where Dave Dave didn't
- 1:02:02Speaker 5: own barstool and Austin was his only imployment.
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: It's almost, yeah, true to me, it's almost like the
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: comp there is more apt if you use serfs like
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: feudal ser like a caste system, sharecroppers, things like that.
- 1:02:17Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm even like like if Jeff Bezos, say, Jeff
- 1:02:20Speaker 5: Bezos has like obviously he's fucking the richest person on
- 1:02:24Speaker 5: the planet or one of them, Like Jeff Bezos probably
- 1:02:29Speaker 5: has a crew that comes and takes care of his
- 1:02:32Speaker 5: multiple properties, right well, and those people are probably getting
- 1:02:37Speaker 5: paid like ten bucks an hour.
- 1:02:40Speaker 3: I don't know, man, you gotta believe he's got the
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: best housekeepers that money can buy exactly. Yeah, there's a
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: market for that.
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: But I guess they can't demand he's.
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: Not skimping on cleaning lady.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: I think that there's It's not like just because you're
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: Jeff Bezos, is cleaning lady can be like, all right,
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: I need five million dollars because he'll be like, no,
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: I can get someone to do it for less than that.
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: I think people always get the best, that they always
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: want the best of the best, and if they have
- 1:03:09Speaker 3: a rich friend down the street who's like, I've got
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: a cleaning lady, but just so you know, she charges
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: one hundred bucks an hour.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: I remember being at a raised person's house and he
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: was like, my cleaning lady's the fucking best. And like
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: I watched the cleaning lady come into the house, and
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: I like know that I saw cobwebs And it's just
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: because you say your cleaning lady's the best, like like
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: it thought, I almost like it necessarily mean, how can
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: like a cleaning lady differentiate themselves and be like, I'm
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: the fucking best.
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: Yeah, well, I think it's uh, you know, discretion, knowing
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: that you're on on ICE's radar.
- 1:03:40Speaker 5: That makes you, you know.
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: Dust the top of the fan.
- 1:03:45Speaker 5: Going back one more time to my to this Dave
- 1:03:48Speaker 5: Austin thing, I think what I'm what I My original
- 1:03:52Speaker 5: point that I was trying to say is that you said, Francis,
- 1:03:57Speaker 5: obviously you don't actually want slaves, but we'll speak for yourself.
- 1:04:01Speaker 5: If you're that rich, you kind of do have slaves.
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: Look, but it's obviously it's all you're trying to know.
- 1:04:12Speaker 5: It's not slavery because those people are making it a livable.
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: It's just black and white. You're either paid or you're
- 1:04:17Speaker 3: not exactly.
- 1:04:18Speaker 5: But from like, I can't imagine it's that much different
- 1:04:23Speaker 5: being a billionaire right now and having people that work
- 1:04:26Speaker 5: under you than it was with like George Washington and
- 1:04:29Speaker 5: his staff. The only difference is his staff didn't get
- 1:04:33Speaker 5: to go home to a house after.
- 1:04:34Speaker 3: And yeah, I mean I also think that like Austin,
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: if he fucks up a pizza review at it, Dave's
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: not going to brand him with this fucking force.
- 1:04:42Speaker 5: Well that we don't know about that in his mouth.
- 1:04:45Speaker 5: You know, we might go swimming one day with Austin
- 1:04:48Speaker 5: and he's got fucking.
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: Brands DP on his back.
- 1:04:52Speaker 5: Yeah, you know, Austin, why are you going in with
- 1:04:54Speaker 5: a swimming shirt on?
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: Dave used to have Tommy Smokes and YP do Mandingo.
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: What's that DP on your back? Oh that's Delta Delta Fi.
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: I was in frat.
- 1:05:04Speaker 5: Yeah, we did a branding, so I guess it's definitely
- 1:05:07Speaker 5: a lot different from the employees, Like that's the biggest difference.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: Yes, that people are getting paid, that they're being paid
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: between slavery and.
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: That it's at at will labor.
- 1:05:21Speaker 5: Yeah, to an extent.
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: But let's not act like there's not slaves in the
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: world right now, and there's definitely slaves even in New
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: York City probably probably right, Let's be honest. That should
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: be the next book that you read and then tell
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: us about on the podcast, say that about modern slavery.
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: Yeah, that would be human trafficking.
- 1:05:39Speaker 5: Yeah, you should all touch up on the subject for
- 1:05:40Speaker 5: when we have to issue our apology next episode.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: I'm a comedian who likes to push boundaries, and unfortunately, for.
- 1:05:50Speaker 5: The inevitable apology that we'll be releasing on Thursday of
- 1:05:54Speaker 5: this part of this.
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: So you can just all in one right. Good ass
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: chicken wing video by the way, Oh yeah, hit popped.
- 1:06:05Speaker 3: Check that out on run dot com.
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: Yes, fantastic work by both of you, guys. I need
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: to get in the kitchen for one of these. What's
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: your guys schedules? What's your guys schedules? When can we
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: go up to Francis's house upstate?
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: Oh yeah?
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: Can you guys say your whole comedy schedules?
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: I'm free the next couple of weeks.
- 1:06:25Speaker 5: My anytime, like after September is good for me.
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: I'm going to Philly in three weeks for shows. But
- 1:06:31Speaker 3: before that, I got a good amount of free time.
- 1:06:36Speaker 5: Thanks to everyone who came to my shows in Milwaukee too.
- 1:06:38Speaker 5: They were very fun. It was honestly, like, very refreshing.
- 1:06:41Speaker 5: I haven't been on the road since Philly and I
- 1:06:43Speaker 5: was pretty fucking nervous, And it turns out.
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: I still got it riding a bike. Riding a bike.
- 1:06:50Speaker 5: The show last night was crazy Sunday six pm football
- 1:06:58Speaker 5: season like maybe twenty yeah, And I don't know if
- 1:07:01Speaker 5: any of them left happy.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: Dude still got it.
- 1:07:06Speaker 5: All the other ones were great.
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: I don't know. I think this is the first time
- 1:07:09Speaker 3: I've ever done this in my career. I walked an
- 1:07:12Speaker 3: audience member, Oh yeah.
- 1:07:15Speaker 5: Done that?
- 1:07:16Speaker 3: A woman left the show in tears. Really yeah, not
- 1:07:21Speaker 3: because I talked to her. She did not like a
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: pedophile joke that I did, and she went out in
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: tears to the staff outside the show and was like,
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: how can you let him say that on stage? They're like,
- 1:07:36Speaker 3: we don't tell our comedians what they can and can't say.
- 1:07:41Speaker 3: The hotel one, probably, I think it's that one. Yeah,
- 1:07:45Speaker 3: and that's me denouncing. That's insane denouncing.
- 1:07:49Speaker 5: That's like an extremely lighthearted joke.
- 1:07:53Speaker 3: There's no endorsement of whatsoever.
- 1:07:56Speaker 5: She must had something else going on that day, some trauma,
- 1:07:59Speaker 5: if that's what took her over the edge.
- 1:08:01Speaker 3: Yeah. But then she said, do you guys not watch
- 1:08:06Speaker 3: the comedians before they come. You don't watch their set
- 1:08:10Speaker 3: to see what they're gonna say.
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: Do you hear this?
- 1:08:13Speaker 3: Because the staff told me, Oh my god. To her credit,
- 1:08:17Speaker 3: she didn't say anything to me while she was leaving.
- 1:08:19Speaker 3: She's got up.
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: Was she wearing a blazer?
- 1:08:23Speaker 3: She was wearing a blazer and uh yeah no, but
- 1:08:27Speaker 3: she uh she left with her her boyfriend or whatever.
- 1:08:30Speaker 3: He didn't care, but he was like, she's upset or leaving.
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: Sounds more like the Blazer woman by the second, Poor guy,
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: you guys can't you can't crack a joke like that's
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: when he I mean, that's not that darker even of
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: a joke. It's really not funny, Like.
- 1:08:45Speaker 3: My act is really not that dark and it's not
- 1:08:47Speaker 3: that vulgar.
- 1:08:49Speaker 5: No, I mean, yeah, if you're leaving, if you're leaving
- 1:08:53Speaker 5: one of your shows because you were upset, it's comedies
- 1:08:55Speaker 5: probably just not for you. Yeah, God for bitch.
- 1:09:00Speaker 3: She goes to see like anyone else who has Yeah.
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: Like everybody in Austin and New York City. Yeah, I'm
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: just a constant like beep track over what they're saying.
- 1:09:16Speaker 3: I wouldn't say I'm an envelope pusher at all.
- 1:09:18Speaker 5: No, neither.
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: And also I think your jokes about that stuff are
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: at your expense. Ye exactly, they're like self deprecating jokes,
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: So I don't. Yeah, that is funny, though, what did
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: you like say anything to her as she was leaving?
- 1:09:31Speaker 3: No, I didn't see her leave and I didn't find
- 1:09:32Speaker 3: out until after the show. So again, she wasn't that disruptive.
- 1:09:36Speaker 3: I think they said she was pretty drunk, but she
- 1:09:38Speaker 3: was the fact that she was sobbing is what. It's
- 1:09:41Speaker 3: kind of like off putting about it, where I'm like, what.
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: Because you know that only happens to little boys.
- 1:09:48Speaker 5: Yeah, that's so bizarre.
- 1:09:50Speaker 3: It's bizarre.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: Yeah, did she know who you were?
- 1:09:53Speaker 3: I doubt it.
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: So she just popped in for a night of clean comedy.
- 1:09:57Speaker 3: Yeah, Harry's worried. He's not more, he's bummed. At Sunday night,
- 1:10:02Speaker 3: football was going on during his show. My show was
- 1:10:06Speaker 3: in the shadow of the ASU Football Stadium while the
- 1:10:11Speaker 3: team had a home game on what is believed to
- 1:10:16Speaker 3: be their big season of the last twenty years. Yea,
- 1:10:21Speaker 3: and it overlapped both shows on Saturday night.
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: And it's probably like the best party campus in America
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: or like top ten party campuses in America. And like
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: you're like tethering people into a night of like intellectual.
- 1:10:34Speaker 5: It's really hard to sell tickets in comedy when there's
- 1:10:38Speaker 5: anything else happening in the city or within five hundred
- 1:10:43Speaker 5: miles of the city.
- 1:10:47Speaker 3: Yeah, oh my god.
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: But the ticket team like they sold well. Still photos
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: I saw from the back of the room.
- 1:10:53Speaker 3: The shows were good. I had a great time. I
- 1:10:57Speaker 3: liked the people of Arizona. It's an odd I don't know.
- 1:11:00Speaker 3: It's a strange city. I can't figure it out. Everything
- 1:11:03Speaker 3: is so spread out. And there's also like three distinct
- 1:11:08Speaker 3: cities within Phoenix. The Phoenix, there's Scottsdale, and there's Tempe. Yeah.
- 1:11:13Speaker 5: I've never even been to Phoenix or Tempe. I've only
- 1:11:16Speaker 5: been like towards Scottsdale.
- 1:11:18Speaker 3: Yeah. And I was staying up in Scottsdale, and I
- 1:11:20Speaker 3: thought when I said Riggs, no, I did reach out
- 1:11:24Speaker 3: to him. We were supposed to play golf. I played golf, so.
- 1:11:26Speaker 5: Higher Brothers book for the next two years.
- 1:11:29Speaker 3: But if he rents that one that's his like main house,
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: that's his primary residence.
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: That's got to look like, Uh, do you remember the
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: video of Cliff Kingsbury when he was the Cardinals coach
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: during the draft, and he's just like sitting in this massive,
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: open complex. It's like all white. I know Riggs was
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: living large out there. Have you seen it? No, I
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: gotta see what Riggs his house looks like in Arizona.
- 1:11:52Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: If he's like doing workarounds for taxes and has like land,
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: he probably has a like a like a little three
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: whole thing in his backyard.
- 1:12:01Speaker 5: Absolutely, I got I want to get a look at
- 1:12:03Speaker 5: that sprinkler system he's got.
- 1:12:05Speaker 3: Oh my god, incredible. The water is there scarce resource
- 1:12:12Speaker 3: out there, and that's probably what he.
- 1:12:14Speaker 5: Spent to water his in house putting green.
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: Arizona was a lush oasis until.
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: He's got a direct line to the one fucking what's
- 1:12:28Speaker 3: what is it called the reservoir reservoir? He uses the
- 1:12:32Speaker 3: drinking water to water his green.
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: Just pouring bottles of avon Saratoga into the fucking sprinkler system.
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: That rich bastard makes me fucking sick. Pisses me off.
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: He was in the office a couple of weeks ago, though,
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: two weeks ago. Oh yeah, yes, rigsy boys, and was around.
- 1:12:52Speaker 3: How'd your guys big parlay?
- 1:12:53Speaker 7: Do?
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: We missed five games of sixteen, which is pretty good.
- 1:12:58Speaker 3: That's really good, dude.
- 1:12:59Speaker 5: I'm on track to hit my my three round.
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: Yeah, and I missed all of mine. Of the five
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: we picked, three of them were my best bets.
- 1:13:08Speaker 5: I'll say it. I know ball.
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: I mean, everybody try to clown you for the falcons take.
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: They were like falcons looked unstoppable. They're like falcons lot.
- 1:13:17Speaker 5: And then fucking look and then we look what.
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: We say, Pat's money line, Bengals money line, even with
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: the forty nine ers covering, even without Party, everything about
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: it was clean.
- 1:13:28Speaker 5: Packer Burrow being out is just like that just sucks.
- 1:13:32Speaker 5: Like that's not fun for anybody.
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: It's bad for the game, it's bad for the sport.
- 1:13:36Speaker 5: Contact the quarterbacks three months, did you long?
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: Yeah? At least twelve to sixteen weeks they say, yeah,
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: like that is turf toe, it's a stubbed toe.
- 1:13:47Speaker 3: And it's what his toe is broken. Presumably it cut
- 1:13:49Speaker 3: it off.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: Like get rid of it.
- 1:13:51Speaker 5: Yeah, I needed him on the field.
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: For I mean, but that Chase did better without him.
- 1:13:58Speaker 3: Oh you traded Jamar ch I did.
- 1:14:00Speaker 5: Yeah, fucking Brandon Owen played Brandon this week and Brandon
- 1:14:05Speaker 5: was texting me furious. He was like, when did you give?
- 1:14:08Speaker 5: Oh and Jamar.
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: Chase I played you in that other league.
- 1:14:14Speaker 5: So yeah, you smoke to me.
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: Did you guys have a video where you guys played
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: golf against each other recently?
- 1:14:20Speaker 3: Oh? Glad you brought that up. Yeah, we haven't had
- 1:14:22Speaker 3: a chance to the Ryder Cup.
- 1:14:25Speaker 5: Been keeping up with it a ton other than people
- 1:14:27Speaker 5: are just glazing my swing. Yeah, and they're all over it.
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: I mean, it's really good action or what is everyone
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: saying about it?
- 1:14:35Speaker 5: They're like butter. They all say it's butter.
- 1:14:37Speaker 3: He's got it's not mine. His height, the way he
- 1:14:41Speaker 3: brings the club back to his picturesque.
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: He's not bringing it back behind his back. He's bringing
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: that bitch fucking up and down.
- 1:14:49Speaker 3: Very Scottie Scheffler esque. It is the way he swings.
- 1:14:51Speaker 5: You know, my coach in high school told me that
- 1:14:53Speaker 5: my swing sucked. Seriously. Huh, just straight up.
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: It's like Michael Jordan's talking jav swing.
- 1:15:01Speaker 3: It's like, oh, okay, when you were playing a lot
- 1:15:04Speaker 3: in high school, what would you typically shoot?
- 1:15:07Speaker 5: Like mid to low forties on nine? Yeah. I was never.
- 1:15:11Speaker 5: I mean that's I was never like a good golfer.
- 1:15:13Speaker 3: I was like, okay, yeah, I suck.
- 1:15:17Speaker 5: Now, Like that's the thing everyone's people say. I've talked
- 1:15:19Speaker 5: about the swing. I mean most of these they had
- 1:15:22Speaker 5: they posted it with like the ball tracker. I think
- 1:15:25Speaker 5: they were giving me a good edit on a.
- 1:15:26Speaker 3: Lot of those.
- 1:15:29Speaker 5: You had a good job. Was watching those, and I
- 1:15:31Speaker 5: was like, I don't remember ever hitting a ball that far.
- 1:15:34Speaker 3: Yeah, I saw the clip of Whitney being like, sass,
- 1:15:37Speaker 3: you kind of own Francis, right, and you were like,
- 1:15:41Speaker 3: I'm not sure about golf. I also didn't know you
- 1:15:44Speaker 3: owned me.
- 1:15:45Speaker 5: Yeah, I didn't know either.
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: Guess you do.
- 1:15:48Speaker 3: I thought we were just friends. Yeah.
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: I didn't realize, well, you're the one pushing for slavery.
- 1:15:54Speaker 3: I know, I realized that the friendship is a little
- 1:15:58Speaker 3: bit more, you know, sixty forty probably maybe even eighty twenty.
- 1:16:02Speaker 5: I do remember when they were like, they were like,
- 1:16:04Speaker 5: you'll be able to like you could, like you can
- 1:16:06Speaker 5: get it, and I was like, I was like, I
- 1:16:07Speaker 5: don't know what you guys are like expecting me to do.
- 1:16:09Speaker 5: I'm not going to be like making France's cry on
- 1:16:11Speaker 5: the sports and.
- 1:16:13Speaker 3: As they wanted.
- 1:16:15Speaker 9: Uh.
- 1:16:16Speaker 3: I think that I, like, I could get them saying
- 1:16:18Speaker 3: that about.
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: Like Kirk, but that you own Kirk.
- 1:16:22Speaker 3: No, that Kirk owns me or something. But I wouldn't
- 1:16:26Speaker 3: have thought that they would have said that about you.
- 1:16:28Speaker 9: No.
- 1:16:28Speaker 5: I think they were just trying to come up with
- 1:16:29Speaker 5: any sort of reason as to why I would be
- 1:16:31Speaker 5: useful for the team.
- 1:16:32Speaker 3: The first match of me and Hank versus you and
- 1:16:35Speaker 3: Yan's is out.
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: Yeah, Oh you played with NS? Yeah, how's that beauty?
- 1:16:41Speaker 3: Right? He's the man, Yeah, he is the man.
- 1:16:44Speaker 5: He's the fun like one of the funniest people I've
- 1:16:46Speaker 5: ever met. And it's like infuriating, it's really tough.
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: The fact he was a pro ash.
- 1:16:50Speaker 5: Yeah, it's like you could right where you're sitting, you
- 1:16:53Speaker 5: could do you could work your entire life and you'll
- 1:16:56Speaker 5: never be as funny as a dude who played like
- 1:16:59Speaker 5: in any professional sport.
- 1:17:01Speaker 3: Hockey specifically. Yeah, it's hockey. Yeah. They have a different
- 1:17:05Speaker 3: language and they're so unafraid to talk in ways. We
- 1:17:09Speaker 3: were sitting around a campfire and all of us were
- 1:17:12Speaker 3: smoking weed except Sass because apparently that's not something he does.
- 1:17:16Speaker 3: And as to stand up comics sitting in a circle,
- 1:17:21Speaker 3: both of us just decided to stop talking because we
- 1:17:23Speaker 3: were just having it. Was such a good time in
- 1:17:26Speaker 3: a circle. Ryan Whadey, Biz Yan's.
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: Who else was chopping it up with the with the
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: hockey guys. Well, was there any non hockey players that
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: were holding their own in the circle with us?
- 1:17:42Speaker 3: No, No, it was old Oldie was there. He's pretty funny.
- 1:17:49Speaker 3: He was He was chopping it up. There's somebody else
- 1:17:51Speaker 3: that was in that group.
- 1:17:52Speaker 5: That was I don't think so. Really, Kirk came back
- 1:17:55Speaker 5: with us and then he went to bed.
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: What kind of stuff were those buddies talking about?
- 1:18:00Speaker 5: The league?
- 1:18:01Speaker 3: Holy shit, No, they were talking about like high school
- 1:18:04Speaker 3: playing in high school.
- 1:18:05Speaker 5: Literally the Yandall's story about. He told us his story
- 1:18:10Speaker 5: that I'm sure he's told the story before, but it
- 1:18:13Speaker 5: was he talked. He said that in high school he
- 1:18:16Speaker 5: was him and his team they were so good and
- 1:18:18Speaker 5: they didn't really give a fuck about like the high
- 1:18:20Speaker 5: school team, and he said that they were He went
- 1:18:23Speaker 5: to a prep school, so they would like travel for
- 1:18:25Speaker 5: games and he would be like they'd be like, oh,
- 1:18:27Speaker 5: we have a game in Dartmouth this weekend, and they
- 1:18:29Speaker 5: would go to Dartmouth and they would like get a
- 1:18:32Speaker 5: hotel for the night. And then since they went to
- 1:18:34Speaker 5: prep school, they would also like know kids who would
- 1:18:37Speaker 5: live in like Dartmouth, and then they would it.
- 1:18:40Speaker 3: Would be at the who would be at the college.
- 1:18:42Speaker 5: They would be at the college. They would like, yeah,
- 1:18:43Speaker 5: they would like text them and be like, Oh, there's
- 1:18:45Speaker 5: like there's a party happening tonight whatever, and then they
- 1:18:49Speaker 5: would go out on the ice. The first play, they
- 1:18:53Speaker 5: would puck would drop.
- 1:18:54Speaker 3: In order for them to get to the party on
- 1:18:57Speaker 3: team time, they'd have to get ejected from the game.
- 1:19:00Speaker 5: So he would the puck would drop, and he gandle
