- Lucas: Ciao Luna, ready for another Italian lesson at the park? Luna: Absolutely, Lucas. I love our park walks. What are we learning today? Lucas: Today we're looking up. We're going to describe clouds in Italian. Luna: Clouds? That sounds fun. I always look at clouds and see shapes. Lucas: Perfect. So the word for cloud is 'nuvola'. Una nuvola. Luna: Una nuvola. Lucas: Great. And more than one cloud is 'nuvole'. Le nuvole. Luna: Le nuvole. Got it. Lucas: Now, let's describe them. 'Le nuvole sono bianche' — the clouds are white. Luna: Le nuvole sono bianche. Lucas: Yes. And if you see a big cloud: 'La nuvola è grande'. Luna: La nuvola è grande. That one is big. Lucas: Exactly. Now, when you see a cloud that looks like something, you can say 'una nuvola a forma di...' and then the shape. Luna: Una nuvola a forma di... like a heart? Una nuvola a forma di cuore? Lucas: Yes! Una nuvola a forma di cuore. That's a cloud shaped like a heart. Great job. Luna: Aww, that's cute. I love that. Lucas: And finally, to describe the sky: 'Il cielo è azzurro' — the sky is blue. Luna: Il cielo è azzurro. That's a beautiful phrase. Lucas: It is. Let's practice all of them. Repeat after me: Le nuvole sono bianche. Luna: Le nuvole sono bianche. Lucas: La nuvola è grande.
