All right, we're going to talk about the mission of Life

Carrier Sons. Welcome to another edition of

the Urantia Radio podcast. I've given this a lot of thought

over the past few months. It's a fascinating read.

If you have not yet done so, Paper 36 in the Urantia book is

absolutely wonderful and I hope that this brief narrative will

help you gain a bit a better appreciation of creation.

As with many things in the Urantia book, there are pictures

within pictures. There is always the stepping

back to gain a wider perspective, kind of like a

picture of a painter or an artist painting a picture of

himself painting a picture. There is always one more aspect

to the story. If you take a step back, for

example, when the Bible says that God created the heavens,

what isn't mentioned are the steps that lead to such a

creation. This is why the Urantia book

starts with God and then moves outward to the Trinity, then

outward to include the first group of God's creation, and

then the Trinity Teacher sons and their outreach and their
1:37
ministry, and then the appearance of the ancients of

days. Then the Creator sons, the
1:43
orders of sons, as well as the order of the spirits, with the
1:47
Universal Mother Spirit or Infinite Spirit as the mother of

that group. And then you've got the Seraphic

Orders and voila, you have this picture of a grand universe

filled with all kinds of representations of divine

personalities who play a distinct role in the evolution

of the universe. But always is this truth There.

We humans are on the cosmic end of a very long trail of events.

God, the Trinity and the immediate family of this triune

partnership are at the end of the spectrum, ministering to us

as we, those of us with sole potential, ascend upward and

inward towards the final embrace of God the Father as a

personality. And all of his ministering

spirits promote this. They they make it possible for

us to go step by step, inward and upward.

And we've talked about the eventuality of where it all

leads, and it's a fantastic story.

There are even now as we speak and as we live and breathe,

there are creations coming to existence that are extensions of

God's primacy. And we will play a part of that

in the eons to come that we're told with absolute authority.

But it's in the how we got here that's more interesting to me.

And the Life Carrier sons play a huge role in that.

Now that probably sounds more complicated than it needs to be,

but it is actually the same story of creation.

God created the heavens and the earth to be inhabited.

The Urantia book just tells us how this process came to be.

So let's unpack some of what this creation entails and and

why it concerns us. And there are two parts to this

story. The the 1st is the fact that the

Urantia book informs us that there are many, many billions of

worlds that make up creation. These worlds are the literal

laboratories for life, and at the pinnacle of this life is the

eventual appearance of the human himself made in his image, that

being the image of Deity and that in fact possesses sole

potential. It is this fact the end game for

certain of the divine sons to make it possible, and they are

the Life carrier sons. They are distinct beings whose

job it is is to create living mechanisms that can host a

minded creature and that make it possible for the eventual
4:36
appearance of creatures with soul potential.

But now comes the part where there is a picture within a

picture. Life Carrier sons are the spirit
4:47
offspring of the Creator Son and the Divine Spirit Mother.

And a third party that is mentioned actually in Scripture,

which I want to sort of delve into for just a second.

So the offspring of the Creator's Son, which is Christ

Michael and the divine Spirit mother of our local creation,

the offspring of the infinite Spirit.

And there's a third party known as the ancients of days.

You might have heard of them. Who are the ancients of days?

Well, the Bible describes them this way, and it describes their

appearance in Daniel 79, where it says I watched till Thrones

were put in place, and the ancients of days was seated.

His garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head was

like pure wool. His throne was a fiery flame,

and its wheels a burning fire, and came forth 1000 thousands

minister to him. The court was seated and the

books were open. So this depiction from the

prophet Daniel suggests that the ancients of days are fairly

respected in the realm, even to some extent adorned with great

authority. But what the Orangi book states

is the ancients of days are the judicial arm of the Trinity.

They are justice from the perspective of deity, just as

the sons and the daughters are mercy and ministry.

And I hope that that helps you get a sense of the importance of

these beings because they serve at the behest of the Trinity and

they actually represent the Trinity.

So their contribution to the appearance of the life carriers

makes it possible for these divine beings to initiate life

forms. Life carrier sons are the

expression of the Creator's Son, the Divine Mother, and the

ancients of days. And these agents themselves

expressed the very same deity partnership that the Creator's

Son and the Divine Mother display only separately and in

their own right. So you can see how there are

pictures within pictures in the Urantia book.

There's always a taking of a step backward, and this can be

challenging unless you understand the relationship of

all these personality beings are in relation to God.

God put all of this in motion. So now back to the story of us,

which is really what the story is all about, right?

So the Life Carrier Sons are given assignment, go produce the

events we need in order to facilitate the growth of

material orders who can transcend materialism and in

doing so are actually populating the universe with mortal

ascenders. So now that's how the stage is

set. So in paper 36 of the Urantia

book, paragraph 2 on the Life Carrier Sons, it reads as

follows. Taking what I just told you into

consideration, it reads the number 10.

The decimal system is inherent in the physical universe, but

not in the spiritual. The domain of life is

characterized by three 7 and 12, or by multiples of combinations

of these basic numbers. There are three primal and

essentially different life plans after the orders of the three

paradise sources and center God the Father, God the Son, and God

the Spirit, and in the universe of Nebadon, which is the name of

our local universe. These three basic forms of life

are segregated on three different types of planets.

There were originally 12 distinct and divine concepts of

transmissible life. This number 12 with its

subdivisions and multiples runs throughout all basic life

patterns of all of the seven super universes.

There are also 7 architectural types of life design,

fundamental arrangements of the reproducing configurations of

living matter. Now they introduce a word here,

Orvinton. Orvinton is one of the seven

super universes to which we belong.

It's our it's our mother universe.

So they say here that the orbits and life patterns are configured

as 12 inheritance carriers. The differing orders of will

creatures are configured as 12244896, one, 92384, and 768.

And then they tell us that on Urantia there are 48 units of

pattern control, trait determiners, and the sex cells

of human reproduction. And then there's this planetary

life. Therefore, while similar in some

respects, differs in many ways on each evolutionary world.

Even in a uniform life series, in a single family of worlds,

life is not exactly the same. On any 2 planets there is always

a planetary type for the life. Carriers work constantly in an

effort to improve the vital formulas committed to their

keeping. This is where it gets

interesting and it sort of delves into what I what I call

the DNA. There are over 1,000,000

fundamental or cosmic chemical formulas which constitute the

parent patterns and the numerous basic functional variations of

life manifestation. Isn't that interesting?

And the life carriers are in constant work of capturing,

organizing and manipulating the essential units of energy which

are employed in building up the the various material vehicles of

life transmission, the so-called germ plasm.

The Planetary Life Planning Laboratories are situated on the

second satellite of this life carrier, Sun World of world #2.

In these laboratories, the life carriers collaborate to modify

and possibly improve the life designed for implantation on the

decimal planets of our local creation.

The life now evolving on Urantia was planned and partially worked

out on this very world. For Urantia is a decimal planet,

a life experiment world. We're going to get into that a

little bit later, but for the point of this exercise, what

they're describing is that these life carrier sons are like

divine scientists. Their sole job is to help

facilitate the appearance of life forms capable of soul

potential. So let's just take a pause and

consider a few things. First off, let's look at

genetics. This paper was written in 1934,

long before there was much known about DNA and proteins and amino

acids and other elements that make up the building blocks of

life. Now.

It is now a point of contention for many scientists who are in

this field today that creation could not have been spontaneous

under these circumstances in the way that our DNA is constructed.

Today, as we delve into the study of DNA, it has become

abundantly clear that there is zero chance that DNA is simply a

naturally occurring event. The human genetic code displays

a mathematical consistency, if you will, and it's highly

complex and it could not have arisen spontaneously.

Paper 36 declares that we are not a cosmic accident and that

our life was actually designed in accordance with the rules

established by the Creator, Son and the Divine Spirit Companion.

From Section 7 of the same paragraph, we read the

following. The original life plasm of an

evolutionary world must contain the full potential for all

future developmental variations and for all subsequent

evolutionary changes and modifications.

The provision for such far reaching projects of life

metamorphosis may require the appearance of many apparently

useless forms of animal and vegetable life.

Such byproducts of planetary evolution, foreseen or

unforeseen, appear on the stage of action only to disappear.

But in and through all this long process there runs the thread of

the wise and intelligent formulations of the original

designers of the planetary life plan and species scheme.

The manifold byproducts of biological evolution are all

essential to the final and full function of the higher

intelligent forms of life. So the picture within the

picture, God creates the heavens and the earth to be inhabited,

but it is within the workings of a specialized group of divine

sons that the divine rulers execute the plans of life.

Those are my words. Remember that in the previous

episode we talked about how the Urantia book is a how to manual,

not so different from the kind of manual you might get from,

say, your car dealer when you buy a new car, right?

It's the manual that tells you how everything works and what

they do and what functions in what way.

And the reason you trust that manual is why?

Because it comes from the manufacturer.

So the Urantia book, the revelation itself, comes from

the manufacturers created by the ones who work at the

laboratories to coin a phrase, or they work at the factory,

right? Remember that phrase.

So you might also appreciate that these life carrier sons by

considering the following, they are custodial.

They are not our judges. They are custodial and they

actually reside here on the earth with us and they've been

here. They've been here for millions

and millions of years, and they are here to facilitate and

maintain our our progress. There are chief life carrier

sons of a specific order, 12 in number, who answer to the

Creator's Son, Christ, Michael. They're not rulers.

They are living beings whose sole mission is our progress.

They will see us until the end of the ages.

We are destined at some future point to become an enlightened

race of advanced mortals. That's the plan.

There are no accidents. We were designed so let me

conclude from Paper 36, Section 3, where it says that life does

not spontaneously appear in the universe.

The life carriers must initiate it on the barren planets.

They are the carriers, disseminators and guardians of

life as it appears on the evolutionary worlds of space.

All life of the order and forms known on Urantia arises with

these Suns, though not all forms of planetary life are existent

on Urantia. The core of the life carriers

commissioned to plant life upon a new world usually consists of

100 senior carriers, 100 assistants, and 1000 custodians.

Remember that phrase from Daniel where he talks about the

thousands of thousands? The life carriers often carry

actual life plasm to a new world, but not always.

They sometimes organize the life patterns after arriving on the

planet of assignment in accordance with the formulas

previously approved for a new adventure in life establishment.

Such was the origin of the planetary life of our world

Urantia. When, in accordance with

approved formulas, the physical patterns have been provided,

then do the life carriers catalyze this lifeless material,

imparting through their persons the vital spirits spark, and

forthwith do the inert patterns become living matter, the vital

spark, The mystery of life is bestowed through the life

carrier sons, not by them. They do indeed supervise such

transactions. They formulate in the life plasm

itself, but it is the universal Mother spirit who supplies the

essential factor of the living plasm.

So now we get the next picture, which is why it is significant

that we are a decimal world. What does that mean?

What does that mean to be an experimental planet?

Then how did that affect us in our development?
