- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: Good morning friends and enemies welcome back into the week 14 running back preview.
- 0:06[SPEAKER_00]: All right where I'm going game by game through every fantasy relevant running back ranking them as a start a sit or flex.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_00]: This is a big big big day
- 0:15[SPEAKER_00]: and a bigger week.
- 0:16[SPEAKER_00]: So let's jump in to Thursday night football.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_00]: We do this every single Wednesday.
- 0:20[SPEAKER_00]: We do the wide receiver version of this video every single Thursday.
- 0:23[SPEAKER_00]: So if you want to watch those going forward throughout the fantasy playoffs, make sure you subscribe put the D in that button.
- 0:28[SPEAKER_00]: So we've got Dallas at Detroit.
- 0:30[SPEAKER_00]: Thursday night football incredibly high totally or 54 and a half point game Detroit 3.8 favorites at home.
- 0:37[SPEAKER_00]: So borderline to pick them.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_00]: If they're at a neutral
- 0:40[SPEAKER_00]: Dallas is red hot on offense.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously Detroit kind of faltering a little bit.
- 0:43[SPEAKER_00]: They need the I mean both teams need this for the playoffs Obviously and I will say before we dive into the actual rankings itself as you know all my rankings the only place to get them is on bdge.co If you are a big dog Remember so go there if you don't want to watch these videos and you just want the rankings straight up Of course we've got jimier Gibbs.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_00]: He's gonna go into the must-start category to want to Williams a little bit more of a tougher ranking here again Not a guy that I want to overthink because he gets
- 1:07[SPEAKER_00]: such a high majority of the touches.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_00]: He's just not seeing a ton of touchdowns goes away, especially not on the ground, but this is a very, very tough matchup.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_00]: As you can see, the lines have allowed the fewest fantasy points to the running back position on the actual season.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_00]: So the tough defense to run against here, but we're not overly concerned about that.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to get a lot of touches.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_00]: Really, whether or not when they get inside the 10 or five yard line, do they pass the ball?
- 1:29[SPEAKER_00]: Do they throw the ball?
- 1:30[SPEAKER_00]: Jevonita, if you got him, you start him.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_00]: The tough one here.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_00]: I think would be David Montgomery.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_00]: You have a good match up for him against the Dallas Cowboys.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously a high over under everyone's some while they just put Dmont in inside the five yard line to let him get a touchdown, which we saw on Thanksgiving night, Dan Campbell kind of let him rock, but at this time at this point in the season.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_00]: Dave Montgomery does not really look great anymore.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if it's old age.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if it's just like him not getting enough work to really get going But he doesn't look elusive.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't look overly powerful.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_00]: He just doesn't really look like the old Dave Montgomery to be honest with you And Gibbs is getting 70 to 75% of the snaps.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't really blame him right with almond rossing brown kind of trending towards not playing in this game You're gonna use Gibbs a lot.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_00]: You need these passcasters to really step up for you over all Demons probably floating somewhere between the dub flex in the shaky flex category He's like a lot of those running backs right now
- 2:17[SPEAKER_00]: You know, the cream hunts, the Chris Rodriguez is where you're going to get eight to ten touches.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to get a probably a very low floor unless you get a touchdown out of him.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_00]: And maybe there's some, you know, tin foil hat conspiracies about, you know, I'm on raw, possibly not playing in Jamir Gives running some more routes from the slide, opening up the backfield to David Montgomery.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like that's kind of a week argument to land on.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_00]: And right now, I'm just talking to a void having to choose a slot for David Montgomery.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not going to lie to you.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_00]: I would say overall, I feel okay.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_00]: I think I probably throw them despite a really good matchup closer to the shaky flex tier.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_00]: Probably towards the top of it.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_00]: I mean Vegas has his line to 32 and a half rushing yard, so hard to be overly optimistic about it.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_00]: But let's move into the one PM Slates here.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_00]: We've got James Cook going against the Cincinnati Bengals.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_00]: Buffalo's at home in this one.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_00]: 52 and a half point total, Joe Barrow obviously back, five and a half point favorites for the Buffalo bills here, a minus 200 line for any time touchdown.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_00]: James Cook is rushing yards total at 98 and a half coming off a 35 touch game.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_00]: Now, James Cook was kind of their entire offense.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_00]: The Bangle's defense is obviously incredible matchup for any fantasy running back here.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_00]: So he's going to go right into the must-start category.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_00]: Chase Brown, he saw a lot of volume here, but you could notice one thing, right?
- 3:32[SPEAKER_00]: It's a good matchup against a week Buffalo Bill's run defense.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_00]: Number three in fancy points allowed to the running back position on the year.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_00]: Four in EPA per rush allowed on the year.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_00]: So they're just not a good rush defense.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_00]: We did see Somaje P Ryan come back and play a lot of snaps.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_00]: Like on the base downs, it was still very much in favor of Brown, but Somaje P runs play.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_00]: playing in a lot of like obvious past situations, the Bengals ran absurd number of plays less.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_00]: It was somewhere in the 80 range, which is not typical, which allowed both of them to get a lot of volume.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_00]: But you could see Vegas putting him at 52 and half rushing yards, that's kind of indicative of the split that they're expecting with Smotcher P-Rine, which was the case prior to P-Rine's high ankle sprain.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_00]: So really, that's just the conversation to say that, you know, it's chase brown, a must-start probably not, but he's still going to go into the field of good categories, playing very
- 4:19[SPEAKER_00]: very involved and uh we're not starting Smogger P-Rine obviously but I do think the conversation is worth having or or note worth kind of leaning on here.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_00]: Next game up we've got the Colts at the Jacksonville Jaguar's 48.5 point total which is a pretty healthy number there.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_00]: The Jags are one and a half point underdogs here.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_00]: The Colts have Jonathan Taylor of course is going into the Must-Start range.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_00]: The backfield in Jacksonville's a little bit trickier.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_00]: E.T.N.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_00]: had a down game last week too and is taking a lot of the goal line work so it's hard to predict a touchdown for him.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_00]: When he gets carries from like the 10 or 15 yard line, I feel like a lot of his work gets done there in terms of rushing touchdowns.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_00]: I do still think he's definitely the overwhelming favorite to be the guy on base downs.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_00]: And I do think this offense will actually perform pretty well against the cults because the cults have DeForce Buckner who is a stud on their defensive line.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_00]: on the IR, he estimates at least one more game.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_00]: So it'll be out for this one against Jacksonville.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, they lost Saw Scardner to the calf strain here.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_00]: So they will be far from full strength on defense.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_00]: And I think Jacksonville's playing pretty well in offense.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_00]: They're getting a lot of their guys healthy and back for this one.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_00]: So they have to go be Myers and Breton's training at Brian Thomas Jr.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_00]: So they're playing pretty well in offense right now.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_00]: I think they won't have too much trouble moving the ball.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_00]: Interesting that they have Travis ETN's line at 58 and a half rushing yards.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_00]: And Chase Brown's at 52 and a half because in my ranking,
- 5:34[SPEAKER_00]: securely above Travis ETN inside the running back rankings here.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_00]: I expect him to get more work.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_00]: I expect him to catch more passes.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_00]: I expect him to just be more involved in a much better match-up here.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_00]: Travis ETN, I won't say that it feels good about him, but I will say he'll go into the dub flex category, definitely at the top of it because he's always capable of breaking off big plays and just having big games in general.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_00]: But each I'll do and just not getting enough work and you're just kind of banking on a lucky gold line touch there.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_00]: So he's going shake your flex category.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_00]: Miami at the New York jet.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_00]: So you've got Miami is two and a half point favorites in New York.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_00]: 40 and a half point total.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_00]: Of course, A chance going into the must start.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_00]: We've got Breeze Hall.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to throw him into the must start as well and we're just going to move on.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_00]: on with that game.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_00]: Here, New Orleans at Tampa Bay, we've got Tampa Bay as eight and a half point favorites, 42 and a half point total.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_00]: We saw Bucky Irving return from his long absence last week.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_00]: They kind of went into a hot hand approach and Bucky just got out to a hot start and ended up getting near 20 touches.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_00]: Sort of touchdown had another one called back.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_00]: on a penalty.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_00]: So it is Bucky Irving's backfield once again, which is huge news for all y'all that have just been sitting on him and waiting for him to return.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_00]: I will say the snaps, if you actually look at the snap counts, we're a little bit closer than the actual touches.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_00]: Bucky only had, I think, like 55, 53% of the overall snaps in that one last week, but I still think as the season progresses and we get later into the fantasy playoffs, like it's just going to become more and more Bucky's backfield.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_00]: So if you got Bucky, this is a relatively good matchup
- 7:03[SPEAKER_00]: We'll say, New Orleans Saints defense has been a little bit better than probably giving credit for on the season 25th in EPA per rush allowed.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_00]: Overall, though, again, if you have Bucky, like he's for sure going into your lineup somewhere between the Mustart and the feels good, but I'm not overly thinking that one.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_00]: The other side of this coins a little bit more interesting because you got Devon Neal who took 80% of the snaps last week for the New Orleans Saints Backfield with Alvin Kamara out and I don't think we should be expecting Alvin Kamara to return for this one and Tazem Hill got almost no work last week.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_00]: Evan Hol got more carries, which was kind of surprising.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_00]: I was expecting Tazem Hill to get a little bit of work in that backfield, some goal line touches, whatever, but it was almost all
- 7:40[SPEAKER_00]: Devin Neil and he's like good enough in all three downs that I expect the opportunities to continue to go his way It's not an easy run defense by any means the books there very much like a pass funnel defense where you want to throw the balls Much as you can against him and not run that much so I don't anticipate a ton of stuff on the ground here But I don't want to overthink the opportunity share that Devin Neil has I expect him again to see
- 8:02[SPEAKER_00]: Some are between 13 and 15 carries and some are between three and five targets and overall definitely going to land to the dub flex for me like despite the low level production last week.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_00]: I wouldn't move away from him in fantasy if if you need a flex this week.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's a pretty solid start.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_00]: Pittsburgh at Baltimore huge AFC North matchup here.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_00]: We've got the Ravens as six point favorites at home.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_00]: We know Lamar Jackson has been struggling but I still like Derek Henry in this one.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_00]: You would have liked to have seen higher ceiling games over the last couple weeks from Henry, obviously, you know, playing against Cincinnati playing against the New York jets.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_00]: A little bit more involved in the past in game in terms of production at least.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_00]: So I, you know, it doesn't matter to Derek Henry, and he's not leaving my lineup.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_00]: So he's gone into the Mustard category for me.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_00]: And then you have Jalen Warren and Kenneth Gainwell on the other side of things.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_00]: Now, they're basically splitting this up into
- 8:49[SPEAKER_00]: Jalen Warren getting the base down, he's getting the carries, he's getting all the goal line work as well.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_00]: I wish we'd see him get a little bit more involved in the passing game because he's really good in that aspect, like throw some screens his way, but it's all going to kind of gain well.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_00]: I guess the way I'm looking at this one, I think the Raven's defense again is starting to become underrated at this point as all of their guys continue to get healthy.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_00]: They're not great, great in the interior, like stopping the run.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_00]: But I like Jalen Warren enough.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_00]: I still think he's very much the lead back here, despite the snaps kind of being split and gain while playing obvious passing situations.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_00]: I would go Jalen Warren as a dub flex.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_00]: I would go kind of gain while as a shaky flex.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_00]: And that feels like the right spot for both of them.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_00]: Seattle at Atlanta here at Atlanta.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_00]: Seven point dogs, despite being at home.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_00]: 44 and a half point total here.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_00]: We all know Seattle's run defense is incredibly stout here.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_00]: Regardless though, you will just never sit bijan Robinson.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_00]: Of course, rushing artist line is pretty low, 65 and a half, but we've seen games where they're rushing game kind of goes to shit.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of has to do with the offensive line is, you know,
- 9:47[SPEAKER_00]: No one cares at this point of the season, but we lost Caleb and Gary very early on in the season and obviously Drew Dalman who was our center last year It was a great rum blocking center move to Chicago, and that's a big reason why they're successful this year running the ball He's like one of the highest-graded rum blocking centers or offensive linemen in general in the entire league So that was a big hit for us.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, he's on just so involved in the past in game that it usually does not matter in terms of production
- 10:11[SPEAKER_00]: The other side of things, nothing really new here will say I feel confident in Kenneth Walker getting a pretty big workload and games that don't get away from Seattle.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_00]: Like he went into last week.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_00]: There was a lot of rumors about or there were a lot of reports over the last couple weeks that Kenneth Walker was going to continue to get more involved and continue to get more work and he's earned that and all that kind of stuff.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_00]: And it's great to hear over and over again, and you don't see a lot of production to kind of back that up.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_00]: I think a lot of that just does have to do with the weird game scripts that Seattle's had this year where they just beat the shit out of opponents because of defensive scores and short fields and all that kind of stuff.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_00]: But in the beginning of the game last week against Minnesota, it was all kind of walker for like the entire first half, and then they got up big and then it was like sharp.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_00]: second half.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_00]: He got the goal line touch again.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_00]: So with Kenneth Walker, he's going to go into the dub flex category.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_00]: And he's definitely bordering on that like dub flex feels good.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_00]: I feel relatively good because the valgons run defenses is asked this year.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_00]: And I think Kenneth Walker, as long as this game doesn't get away from them, we'll get a decent amount of work.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_00]: Zach Sharwin, you definitely need to touch down for him to come through.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_00]: So he's going to go into the shake.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_00]: Blacks category.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_00]: And then Algier, yeah, this is just not the matchup that we wanted to spend on Algier for 22 and a half rushing yards.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_00]: Like he needs to get it done purely on the goal line purely through rushing production.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't feel great about that.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_00]: Tennessee, at Cleveland, we've got Cleveland.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_00]: It's four and a half point favorites.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_00]: They are at home.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_00]: I think there might be some sloppy weather in this one.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_00]: A 33 and a half point total.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_00]: Quinshot Juttkins, of course, is the guy here.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_00]: Sneaky and not sneaky in an absolute smash bot obviously if it's bad weather conditions Which should or standard starting again like judgekins is expected to get 20 to 25 touches his rushing Artisan line is up at 80 and a half Dylan Samson is dealing with a calf strain that Reportedly day today.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't know if he's gonna miss this game It won't have any practice reports obviously.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_00]: I filmed these early in the week Wednesday morning So we've got no news on Dylan Samson yet
- 12:05[SPEAKER_00]: that Dylan Stamps, it was getting, but I do think it would mean more snaps overall for Judge Ginsen seeing some dump offs go his way.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_00]: So I do think he's got a sneaky very high ceiling, especially in this matchup against the soft ass Tennessee Titans, who have been a little bit better against the run, I guess, recently with Jeffrey Simmons and Tavanger sweat in the middle there, but I actually love Queen Judge Judge Ginsen this week.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_00]: So he needs to be in your lineup.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we are not starting any of the Tennessee Titans backs against this Cleveland run defense.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_00]: Minnesota here.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_00]: So we've got Minnesota.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_00]: We don't have lines up yet because we don't I guess have any word on jade and dangles who is not cleared for contact yet because he's coming back from his, oh, I lie there refreshing in real time here.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_00]: It looks like the commanders are two and a half point underdogs here with a 41 and a half points total in this game they are in Minnesota.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_00]: Aaron Jones dealing with the shoulder sprain.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_00]: He is reportedly day to day.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_00]: Not sure if he suits up, it does sound like he can suit up.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_00]: I guess if he wants to play through the pain, he did that in a week 10 with a similar injury in his shoulder and ended up playing through it.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_00]: It's a great matchup on paper against the Washington Commanders, fourth most fancy points allowed to the running back position, seventh and EPA, perusher allowed number five and just overall points allowed to the other defense.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_00]: So it is very much a split backfield at this point between Jones and Jordan Mason.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_00]: Jordan Mason.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_00]: It's just not coming into a lot of production because the offense overall is so stagnant with the quarterback position.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_00]: JJ McCarthy will be starting for Minnesota.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if that's a good thing.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it can't be worse in Max Rosemary.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_00]: There I guess overall.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_00]: I would say that because the matchup is so good.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_00]: Like I do expect.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_00]: heavy heavy dosage of the running backs in this game because Kevin O'Connell is going to want to hide whoever the quarterbacks are.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm going to throw Aaron Jones into the dub flex category.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_00]: He's definitely going to be towards the bottom of it and honestly teetering on that shaky flex category.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_00]: If Aaron Jones does miss this game, I would throw, you know, it may be not until it feels good.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_00]: Damn close to it.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_00]: He would be closer to the top of the dub flex category.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_00]: Because again, I think his work will be huge in the games that Aaron Jones missed early on in the year.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_00]: In those four games, Jordan Mason saw at least 15 touches in all of them and had some exposing games against really bad run defenses, which would be the case against the Washington commanders here.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_00]: Xavier Scott would play a little bit of a roll, but I don't want him in.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_00]: My line up on the flip side, we see Rodriguez getting more touches than JCM and Jeremy Nichols kind of combined here, definitely not going to throw him into the dub flex category because he needs, you know, he's like Zack Sharberna, he's going to get 10 to 12 touches, he needs to touch down to end up coming through.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_00]: So he'd be a shaky flex here and I don't want to start anybody else.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_00]: Next up, we've got the Denver Broncos at the Las Vegas Raiders.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_00]: And this might be one of the mismatches of the year here.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_00]: You got the Las Vegas Raiders offensive line is just so bad.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_00]: And Denver's defense is obviously incredible here.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_00]: So Ashing Gen T's got his work cut out for him here.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_00]: The Broncos are seven and a half point favorites.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_00]: They are on the road, 40 and a half point total here.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_00]: Ashing Gen T.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_00]: Do I feel good about him?
- 15:01[SPEAKER_00]: Fuck no.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't think I could throw him into the into that category.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_00]: The good part about gentie is like, you know you're getting the work.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_00]: If they get down near the goal line, he'll get some carries, but usually those plays get blown up.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_00]: He's just very, very involved in the passing game right now, which is kind of saving his flores.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_00]: You know, he's seeing five, six, seven targets at game.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_00]: So he's going to go into the dub flex category, you know, definitely towards the top of it, because he obviously really could play over that offensive line makes him like, you know,
- 15:24[SPEAKER_00]: just so, so, so on appealing at the moment.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_00]: On the flip side, you have RJ Harvey who really not running very well, and the production is not sky high at all, you can see Vegas's projection forums only at 42 and a half rushing yards.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_00]: He's getting a ton of work though, and he's getting the goal line work, which is really important because we saw him score two touchdowns against Washington last week, and him getting the goal line work is really what matters here in this matchup where we do expect them to kind of dominate the game script and beyond the goal line at a pretty high volume here.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_00]: I would throw him into the field's good category, despite Vegas's projection for him being low, relatively involved in the passing game, and he could hit a big player at any moment.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_00]: But as long as he's getting the goal line carries here, which I do expect him to get going forward.
- 16:05[SPEAKER_00]: All three of them last week.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_00]: I think he'll give you a high floor with a pretty nice ceiling for him.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_00]: Next up, we got Chicago at Green Bay.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_00]: Now, there are no lines populating for this game for whatever reason right now.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_00]: The Packers are six and a half point favorites at home with a 44 and a half point total, despite the bears being first place in the NFC right now.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_00]: Good matchup for Josh Jacobs and the Green Bay running game despite him being less than 100% likely.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_00]: We'll have to see what the practice support for the bears are.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_00]: And honestly, despite them being without their three starting linebackers played well again, St. Kwan and I mean, everybody's playing well against the Philly Run game right now.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_00]: But it was encouraging to see none of the last, but I do think listen, Jacob's against Chicago.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_00]: It's just a good matchup.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_00]: You want to mean your lineup, of course.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_00]: The tricky part of this game is on the other side of things with swift and calm and none guy obviously coming off that monster game on Black Friday against the Philadelphia Eagles.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_00]: We're swift in Mononga, both when fucking bonkers, both running for like a buck 20, both scored a touchdown, both with around, you know, 20, 22 touches in that one.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_00]: It really just is the same.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_00]: It's been this drive by drive, swift in Mononga, Swift in Mononga, Swift in Mononga, Swift in Mononga, so there's not a lot that I could tell you that.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_00]: We don't know at this point, the Packers are a tough matchup, so that does make it a little bit scary for a matchup like this where, you know, if Swift and Anunga, if they don't dominate the game script, they don't dominate the run defense of the Packers like they did to the Eagles last week could be a game where Swift and Anunga both end up with like 12 touches.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_00]: if they don't break plays, if they're not overly efficient in yards per carry, could be a low number for both of them.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't think either of them play in obvious, you know, passing situations, you might give the lead to swift like two-minute drills, but I think they've shown that they trust monogying passing situations as well.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_00]: I'd even say like it does kind of feel like Ben Johnson might trust
- 17:51[SPEAKER_00]: Manungai more in running situations that are like short yardage.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_00]: So I could see a world where over the next four or so weeks, Manungai does become a little bit more the goal line back here.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_00]: Right now, the lines for Swift are up, but not for Manungai.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_00]: He's at 46 and a half rushing yards.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_00]: Manungai says not posted, but I'd bet it's probably around like 40 to 41-ish.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be a relative split here.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_00]: And because the run game is just so good right now, and their run blocking line is so strong right now.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_00]: And I have a team where I have both of these guys.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_00]: I have Swift M and Nung guy.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm starting Swift over M and Nung guy.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_00]: I just, I think that's like what you have to do.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_00]: And you could get unlucky and it ends up being the other way around where M and Nung guy scores a touchdown Swift doesn't.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_00]: But I trust Swift a little bit more right now.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna put common Nung guy in the shaky flex category.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_00]: But definitely feel like okay about him because we know he's gonna get touches.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_00]: But I just like Swift right now.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's proven that he should be in line with us more often than not.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_00]: Moving to the Rams at the Arizona Cardinals here, we've got the Rams as seven and a half point favorites of 48 and a half point total.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_00]: I think the Rams are going to have no problem moving the ball here.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_00]: Kyrie and Blake Quorum are definitely sharing carries.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_00]: It definitely splitting drives here.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_00]: There's definitely a little bit of a split here.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_00]: Kyron Williams definitely still the lead back here.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_00]: So I like to match up a lot.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_00]: Gonna throw him into the field's good category.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_00]: Blake Quorum could definitely get into the end zone.
- 19:06[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to go into the shaky flex category.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_00]: On the other side of things, it does not sound like we're getting a tree Benson return, it does not sound like we're getting in a mario.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_00]: You are caught over turn either.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_00]: Keep an eye on practice reports.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_00]: For those two, of course, it does leave the back field to just on of a night to just Michael Carter.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_00]: And I would throw it on of a night into the dub flex tier.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_00]: If the matchup wasn't so brutal, they're obviously playing against the Rams.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_00]: This does not favor a run heavy script for a guy like Zonovan Night who plays on, you know, the early downs, the base down, to get the goal line carries here.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the Rams are just really, really, really, really, really.
- 19:35[SPEAKER_00]: really, really good on defense.
- 19:37[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm going to throw them at night to the shaky flex category.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you're going to get volume with them.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_00]: I don't have a lot of confidence that's going to be useful volume here.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_00]: So Michael Carter's also going to go with the bottom of the shaky flex category.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_00]: Next up, we've got Houston at Kansas City.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_00]: This is the Sunday night football game.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_00]: You've got Houston as three and a half point underdogs in arrowhead.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_00]: 41 and a half point total.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_00]: Both of them are scrapping for their playoff lives.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_00]: Now, Woody Marx continues to dominate the backfield in terms of touches.
- 20:03[SPEAKER_00]: left for a little while last week with you know a foot ankle thing ended up returning so I'm not really concerned about his injury designation going into the game.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_00]: Nick Chub did get the goal on carry did get into the end zone here.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_00]: What he marks like on paper should be producing.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_00]: He's just not for whatever reason.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_00]: He's not seeing a ton of dump offs his way.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_00]: He's not seeing ton of like goal on carries here.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_00]: So he's not really producing despite seeing a very very heavy workload here.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_00]: And this is not a great matchup against the Kansas City Chief's defense.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_00]: So Woody Marx on paper should be in the Doug Flex category, but I definitely think he should be more catered towards the shaky flex category where you're deciding like Oh, Woody Marx or Dave and Montgomery.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's a realistic.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_00]: It's art decision that a lot of people will probably have to make this week.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_00]: It's like matchup versus usage.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_00]: How do you feel about that?
- 20:47[SPEAKER_00]: On the other side of things, we saw Pacheco return last week, but he was very much outplayed outproduced out snapped by Kareem Hunt.
- 20:53[SPEAKER_00]: And honestly, I think they just trust Kareem Hunt a lot more.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_00]: And we haven't seen Pacheco really returned to form.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_00]: since last season early on.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_00]: Um, and I kind of expect in a game like this, they're going to go with the guys that they trust.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_00]: So I think Crem Hunt is definitely the guy that you want to be starting.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_00]: If you're starting anyone in this backfield, you didn't get the touchdown against Dallas last week.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_00]: So we ended up having a relatively disappointing day.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_00]: But if you did, he's in that like 15 PBR points range.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that's, you know, what you can expect against the Texans this week, much tougher match of course, the Texans defense is very, very, very, very good.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_00]: But I think cream hunts definitely in that conversation as well to be in your line-ups while Pacheco is a guy that needs to prove it to me before he's sniffing any sort of line-up action here.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_00]: Philadelphia at the Los Angeles Chargers Monday night football last game of the week here.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_00]: So we've got the Chargers as three point underdogs here, despite being at home.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_00]: I think we should be expecting Justin Herbert to play, and this one everything sounds like it's trending that way, but definitely not a given at this point left the, you know, look towards practice reports.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_00]: If Herbert doesn't play, does make the backfield a bit of a mess.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_00]: I do think they're game plan with his hand or with dry lands will probably have to lean very heavy into the running back situation.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_00]: Regardless, it's sounding like Omar in Hampton's going to be returning in week 14.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_00]: But I also don't want to take that for granted either.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_00]: These long lives are hard to predict an exact pinpoint dates, though they've been saying we 14 has been the plan.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_00]: This is when he's going to come back.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_00]: So we will say, if a Mario in Hampton is back, this makes this backfield extremely difficult to decipher.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_00]: I'd imagine it's gonna be something similar to the bears, something similar to Tampa Bay last week, where they're splitting drives.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_00]: And it's just gonna be a hot hand approach.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_00]: Is Hampton the guy that gets hot?
- 22:31[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, is C'mon, if a doll the guy that stays hot, I think he's probably earned a roll here for sure.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't think they want to put Hampton right back into like a 20-touch or even like a 17-touch roll immediately here.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_00]: So it makes both of them extremely difficult starts right away.
- 22:47[SPEAKER_00]: In a game that has a projected total of 40 and a half points.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_00]: Honestly, if I have both of these guys, I don't feel good about either of them.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_00]: So they're both going to go into the shaky flex category for me.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_00]: Until we see what this backfield looks like.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_00]: I could see them just going drive by drive and you know, both of them ending up with around 12 touches.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_00]: And then it just becomes kind of a nightmare.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_00]: The good news is, this matchup on paper doesn't look as bad as it did in the beginning of the year.
- 23:08[SPEAKER_00]: The Philadelphia Eagles have just getting their shit pushed in by opposing run games at this point.
- 23:12[SPEAKER_00]: On the other side, say, one barclay, yeah, I don't really know what to do at this point.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_00]: Like, honestly, I guess we're going to throw him into the feels good category over the must-start at this point.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_00]: The charges run defense.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_00]: Not very good, but not very bad either, surprisingly.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_00]: They were really bad in the beginning of the season, but have gotten a little bit better.
- 23:27[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe it's a little bit more match-up dependent because of some of the schedule that they've gone against.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_00]: But nonetheless, say quann and this offensive line can not get any push.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_00]: They're off into, it's just brutal to watch.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_00]: They're off to coordinator stinks.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, say quann, like, do I even feel good about him?
- 23:42[SPEAKER_00]: Probably not, but I don't think I could throw him into the Flex category at this point.
- 23:45[SPEAKER_00]: So we will wrap things there.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_00]: I'll let you see the poster mode, so you can see everybody on the screen at once.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_00]: That is all the week, 14 running backs and how I'm looking at the slate and ranking the players going into Thursday night football.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_00]: I hope y'all enjoyed this one.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_00]: Again tomorrow will be the wide receiver version.
