- 0:10Speaker 1: Sugar's Welcome to the Nady b Nico your house rump Shooter,
- 0:19Speaker 1: and it is Wednesday, which means our dear friend Donny
- 0:22Speaker 1: Meacham joins us, Hey, Donnie, are you there?
- 0:25Speaker 2: Helloa lela Wednesday. I missed the last two weeks. I
- 0:29Speaker 2: was very sad about it. But Rob, being the ultimate
- 0:34Speaker 2: friend and professional that he is, just you know, probably
- 0:38Speaker 2: said I was just skipping out for fun. But no, so,
- 0:42Speaker 2: you know, personal things going on. But I'm back and
- 0:45Speaker 2: I'm super excited because I missed chatting with my boy Rob.
- 0:49Speaker 1: We missed you, Donnie. How are you doing? Are you okay?
- 0:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm doing good.
- 0:54Speaker 1: Yep.
- 0:55Speaker 2: Just some things happened, and you know, when things in
- 0:57Speaker 2: your life happened, it like takes a minute to like rebound.
- 1:02Speaker 2: And I used to be the kind of person to
- 1:04Speaker 2: where I would just be like, you know what, all right,
- 1:06Speaker 2: I have to just keep doing it, keep going, keep going,
- 1:08Speaker 2: keep going. And as I got older, I'm like, you
- 1:11Speaker 2: know what, I need to take a minute, and I
- 1:13Speaker 2: need to like debrief and I need to like think
- 1:17Speaker 2: about what happened and then go forward.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Yeah, take your time. Everybody, Like when big things happen,
- 1:24Speaker 1: when small things happen in your life. Take your time,
- 1:27Speaker 1: take a minute, get your head into the space you
- 1:32Speaker 1: wanted to be in. And no, Donnie that we are
- 1:36Speaker 1: all here for you. Okay, let's jump into the show.
- 1:39Speaker 1: What time is it, my friends? It is tea time. Okay,
- 1:43Speaker 1: big story at the top of the show, just think.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Timberlake has been arrested for d WY in New York.
- 1:49Speaker 1: So he was busted in sag Harbor, which is where
- 1:52Speaker 1: Countess Lunn lives, and exclusive photographs obtained by TMZ show
- 1:58Speaker 1: the singer leaving the police station. He looks actually quite
- 2:01Speaker 1: relaxed after the shocking ordeal. So the new pictures show
- 2:05Speaker 1: him strolling past a police cruiser. He's wearing a baseball cap.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Another picture is JT with his attorney trying to make
- 2:14Speaker 1: a discreet exit through the back garage. However, he was
- 2:20Speaker 1: caught by the photographers. Now he has been arranged and
- 2:23Speaker 1: released without bail. He faces one count of d WI
- 2:28Speaker 1: plus citations for running a stop sign and failing to
- 2:34Speaker 1: stay in his laying. Sources are telling me that he
- 2:37Speaker 1: was at a party at the American Hotel Very Nice,
- 2:40Speaker 1: and then he blew through a stop sign. He was
- 2:43Speaker 1: swerving he was pulled over by the cops. There was
- 2:47Speaker 1: a young police officer who did not recognize him. Now,
- 2:50Speaker 1: Justin's friends were trying to convince the police officer to
- 2:54Speaker 1: let him go, and this guy said no, and Justin
- 2:58Speaker 1: refused to take a breathalyzer test. Ooh a big news.
- 3:05Speaker 1: What do you think to it?
- 3:06Speaker 2: I mean, but also like his friends, oh, let him
- 3:10Speaker 2: go because he's justin Timberlake. Like, doesn't mean you don't
- 3:13Speaker 2: drive drunk. People until don't d drunk. Yeah, just don't
- 3:16Speaker 2: do it. And I don't know about the laws of
- 3:17Speaker 2: New York. I know in California because a friend of
- 3:19Speaker 2: mine got a DUI last year and it's very strict, like, oh,
- 3:25Speaker 2: you lost your license for a year. He had to
- 3:28Speaker 2: pay a bunch of fines and a bunch of stuff.
- 3:30Speaker 2: It's not a joking matter. And the fact is like, oh,
- 3:32Speaker 2: they tried to get him to go off. They didn't
- 3:34Speaker 2: recognize them. It doesn't matter who you are. If you're
- 3:37Speaker 2: driving drunk, you are going to.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Get in trouble. You don't do it. Friends, if you're listening,
- 3:42Speaker 1: galo loo loo. Instead of trying to convince the police
- 3:45Speaker 1: officer to let Justin off, why didn't you try and
- 3:50Speaker 1: convince Justin to not drive that car. He's really rich.
- 3:56Speaker 1: He can afford an uber, he can afford a taxi,
- 3:58Speaker 1: he can afford a driver. So get a car. If
- 4:01Speaker 1: you want to go out and drink, make sure you've
- 4:05Speaker 1: got a way to get home or stay at the
- 4:08Speaker 1: American hotel. He was partying at a hotel. I don't
- 4:12Speaker 1: get it. I think that a lot of people, not
- 4:16Speaker 1: just celebrities, think of the Hamptons as a little summer
- 4:19Speaker 1: getaway and the rules don't apply, and you have a
- 4:22Speaker 1: few too many drinks and then you drive. It's just
- 4:26Speaker 1: not good. You could really hurt somebody else. Forget about
- 4:29Speaker 1: hurting yourself. You put other people in terrible danger. Because
- 4:34Speaker 1: I live in New York City, I never drive. I
- 4:36Speaker 1: don't know how to drive a murder car, don it,
- 4:38Speaker 1: And so like we always fall in and out of
- 4:40Speaker 1: taxis or ubers or subways, and so it just feels
- 4:43Speaker 1: second nature for me to take public transportation in some
- 4:47Speaker 1: sort of fashion. If I'm feeling rich, I might do
- 4:50Speaker 1: an uber, but I often do a subway to the Hampton's.
- 4:53Speaker 1: You have to be able to drive. That's why I
- 4:55Speaker 1: don't like going out there because I'm literally stuck in
- 4:58Speaker 1: a house. It's normally a very nice house and he
- 5:01Speaker 1: has a pool, but I can't get around the Hampton's.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Justin was driving court. Now. I did speak to some
- 5:09Speaker 1: friends and I said, is this a problem? Should we
- 5:11Speaker 1: be nervous? Is this the tip of the iceberg? They said, no,
- 5:14Speaker 1: he enjoys a casual drink. He's not a drunk, he
- 5:18Speaker 1: is not blasted. He was over the limit, But I
- 5:21Speaker 1: don't think by much, although that makes no difference. Once
- 5:24Speaker 1: you're over the limit, you're over the limit. And so
- 5:27Speaker 1: I don't think we have to be worried about Justin.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Yet we do know Jessica Biel is filming in New York,
- 5:34Speaker 1: so she's in the city. At least she was filming
- 5:37Speaker 1: a few days ago. And so this brings us to
- 5:39Speaker 1: our pole question of the day. Justin Timberlake has been
- 5:43Speaker 1: busted for a DWI in Sack Harbor. Should we be
- 5:49Speaker 1: worried about JT? What do you think? Should we be worried? Hey?
- 5:54Speaker 1: Go vote on a Twitter page at Naughty Nights rob
- 5:58Speaker 1: facebook page is Naughty Gossip and the sure to check
- 6:02Speaker 1: back tomorrow to hear your results. Hey, Donnie, what are
- 6:07Speaker 1: you working on.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Just real quick too. Though a DWI doesn't help, you know,
- 6:11Speaker 2: squash the rumors of him and Jessica kind of having
- 6:14Speaker 2: a reft, it actually does, if anything, it fuels those
- 6:17Speaker 2: it's fueling. But good things happening now. Celine Dion, she
- 6:23Speaker 2: is back Celeen. So you know, she had that disease
- 6:26Speaker 2: where you know, stiff neck syndrome, and it was just
- 6:29Speaker 2: it really wore on her. She wasn't able to perform
- 6:33Speaker 2: for a long time and she was very sad. Well,
- 6:35Speaker 2: she broke down in tears and New York City saying,
- 6:38Speaker 2: the biggest crowd I've had in years. And she was
- 6:43Speaker 2: there for the premiere of her new documentary I Am
- 6:46Speaker 2: Celine Dion consider where her oldest son Rene Charles was
- 6:53Speaker 2: also there. And this is good for her because not
- 6:57Speaker 2: being able to sing when you're Celine Dion is I
- 7:01Speaker 2: mean just imagine like your life is taken away from you.
- 7:03Speaker 2: And so she's not able to get on there and
- 7:05Speaker 2: get that high. They choose drugs or you know, drinking
- 7:09Speaker 2: or whatever. Selene chooses the stage that gets her high
- 7:12Speaker 2: and she's able to do that.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I was there last night. I saw her. She
- 7:17Speaker 1: looked great. She looked a little unsteady, but she had
- 7:21Speaker 1: a day with her helping her to get in. It
- 7:24Speaker 1: was lovely to hear her speak. She was full of gratitude.
- 7:28Speaker 1: She did break down in tears. She was really emotional.
- 7:31Speaker 1: This is a person who's used to performing for thousands
- 7:34Speaker 1: of people and she's not been doing it. She can't
- 7:38Speaker 1: do it with this awful disease that she's still fighting
- 7:43Speaker 1: with every day. I thoroughly recommend people to watch this documentary.
- 7:48Speaker 1: It's one of those truthful documentaries. It's one that doesn't
- 7:51Speaker 1: hold its punches. Like often when celebrities participate in documentaries
- 7:56Speaker 1: about themselves, they're not normally that good because everybody only
- 8:01Speaker 1: says the nice stuff. They don't say all the naughty stuff. Selene,
- 8:06Speaker 1: she's in it to win it. It is a real, honest,
- 8:10Speaker 1: some might say brutally honest portrayal of her life, of
- 8:15Speaker 1: what she's going through. I like her. She's she's also
- 8:18Speaker 1: got a great sense of humor about herself.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Yeah, she does. But also we forget she's had a
- 8:23Speaker 2: rough you know, a few years she lost to her husband, Renee,
- 8:27Speaker 2: and then she you know, had this disease, and it's
- 8:29Speaker 2: just It's been a rough few years for her, so
- 8:31Speaker 2: I think she needs this so it's people can see her.
- 8:35Speaker 2: The problem when you have like a death or you
- 8:38Speaker 2: are diagnosed with a disease, is people focus on that
- 8:42Speaker 2: and that's what they see you as. So I think
- 8:44Speaker 2: this documentary will help people realize, oh no, no, no, Selene,
- 8:47Speaker 2: you're you're the woman who sang the Titanic song like
- 8:50Speaker 2: you're Selene Dion, like you performed in Vegas every night,
- 8:53Speaker 2: like okay. It just kind of reframes your mind of
- 8:56Speaker 2: what you think about Celene Deon.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, just fantastic. Moving along, Cyndy Lauper is finally
- 9:02Speaker 1: talking about this feud with Madonna, saying, quote, I don't
- 9:06Speaker 1: think she likes me. So Cyndey Lauper is finally addressing
- 9:10Speaker 1: this feud with Madonna. In the eighties, these two dominated
- 9:15Speaker 1: the music scene, and in the candid interview with E News,
- 9:18Speaker 1: Cinndy Laper expresses her regrets about being pitted against Madonna
- 9:23Speaker 1: during the early years of their fame. She said, isn't
- 9:26Speaker 1: it sad that they can only be room for one?
- 9:29Speaker 1: What the hell is that? I didn't like it? She
- 9:31Speaker 1: was asked if she'd ever discussed this dynamic with Madonna
- 9:36Speaker 1: and Cyndi Lauper responded, Nah, I don't think she likes
- 9:41Speaker 1: me much now. When these two burst onto the music scene,
- 9:48Speaker 1: everybody thought it was going to be Cyndi Lauper. She
- 9:51Speaker 1: sings better than Madonna, she writes her own songs. Some
- 9:55Speaker 1: would argue she's more talented. But where Madonna is super talented,
- 10:00Speaker 1: it is in marketing herself, is in really pressing people's buttons.
- 10:04Speaker 1: But the record label didn't really believe in Madonna very much.
- 10:08Speaker 1: They were like, oh, she might have a few hits
- 10:10Speaker 1: in her but Cindy Lapa, she's a singer, songwriter. She's
- 10:14Speaker 1: gonna be the next Carol King, She's gonna be huge,
- 10:17Speaker 1: And then the opposite happened. Cindy has a great career.
- 10:19Speaker 1: I'm not putting her down at all. I know a
- 10:21Speaker 1: lot of artists that would kill to have her career,
- 10:24Speaker 1: But it's not the korea Madonna has. In fact, there's
- 10:27Speaker 1: only probably five or six people in the world alive
- 10:30Speaker 1: today who are as big as Madonna. She just played
- 10:33Speaker 1: for over a million people in Rio, But you are
- 10:37Speaker 1: right here. We did pit them against each other, and
- 10:41Speaker 1: that's just sad. Because there's room for both.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Yeah, And this is the thing is like, I mean,
- 10:47Speaker 2: we know Madonna. Madonna is a tricky person, and so
- 10:50Speaker 2: I think, you know, it's so hard to you know,
- 10:55Speaker 2: be level headed, especially when you're at a young age.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Madonna was catapulted to start them, and I think the
- 11:02Speaker 2: problem is, I just don't think she thought about Cyndey Lupper,
- 11:04Speaker 2: So I think, to be honest, I know that might
- 11:06Speaker 2: sound mean or whatever. It's like when I just watched
- 11:08Speaker 2: an interview that Whitney did and the interviewer was asking
- 11:12Speaker 2: her about Mariah Carey and was like, what do you
- 11:15Speaker 2: think of her? And Whitney goes, well, I don't think
- 11:19Speaker 2: of her because and I think that's it sounds shady,
- 11:22Speaker 2: but it's real. It's like, I just don't think they
- 11:24Speaker 2: think think it seems like hat.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Yeah, it's not. Yeah, No, I don't think she does. Now.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Remember in nineteen eighty five, when they recorded We Are
- 11:33Speaker 1: the World, the biggest single of all time Michael Jackson,
- 11:36Speaker 1: Lionel Richie, they asked Cyndi Lauper to be part of
- 11:40Speaker 1: the record over Madonna. They had one spot open and
- 11:44Speaker 1: they had to pick between Madonna or Cindy Lauper Lionel
- 11:48Speaker 1: Richie has said that that was a mistake. He said
- 11:51Speaker 1: that to Jimmy, Jimmy Kimmel, Cindy great career. I wish
- 11:55Speaker 1: you too could be friends. I think you have a
- 11:57Speaker 1: lot in common. But Alas, I don't think Donna really
- 12:01Speaker 1: has many friends in the music business. She has a
- 12:04Speaker 1: rivalry with Share, she's fighting with Elton John. I think
- 12:08Speaker 1: Madonna just does her own thing.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Yeah, look, I'm not I love Madonna as an artist,
- 12:14Speaker 2: as you know somebody. I personally don't think I would
- 12:17Speaker 2: want to sit at Batino's and have a vaka sola
- 12:19Speaker 2: with Madonna, but that just is like, that's me. I
- 12:21Speaker 2: would rather sit with Cyndy Lapper.
- 12:24Speaker 1: And yeah, you know who I saw in Botrino's one night,
- 12:27Speaker 1: Cindy Lapper. She goes there. I know, it's like Hi, Cindy,
- 12:30Speaker 1: It's like hi. I've interviewed Madonna a lot of times.
- 12:34Speaker 1: It was a mistake. Trick, Yeah, tricky, trick. I love
- 12:37Speaker 1: her as an artist, but I don't want to be
- 12:39Speaker 1: friends with her. I think that it must be very
- 12:41Speaker 1: difficult having somebody like that in your life. Okay, this
- 12:44Speaker 1: story is amazing, amazing, Austin Butler is spilling the tea
- 12:51Speaker 1: about a party at Paul McCartney's house with a very
- 12:56Speaker 1: very surprising DJ. What have you got done?
- 12:59Speaker 2: They Austin Butler, we know him, he played Elvis and
- 13:03Speaker 2: he was amazing. Well, he was talking about an unforgetable
- 13:08Speaker 2: night at a star sided house party hosted by none
- 13:11Speaker 2: other than Paul McCartney. So he was on Jimmy Kimmel
- 13:15Speaker 2: and he was talking about the craziest party he's ever attended.
- 13:18Speaker 2: He telling me, He's like, last time I saw you
- 13:20Speaker 2: was maybe the craziest party I've ever been to my
- 13:22Speaker 2: whole life, Jimmy told Austin, and then Austin goes, that
- 13:26Speaker 2: was insane talking about the night. So, you know, there's
- 13:30Speaker 2: a guest list, it's living legends. You know, there's the Beatles,
- 13:34Speaker 2: there's Rolling Stones, there's Bruce Springsteen, there's you know, this
- 13:39Speaker 2: little actress I don't know if you've heard of her,
- 13:40Speaker 2: Mele Streep was there, and then Taylor Swift shows up.
- 13:46Speaker 2: And not only does Taylor Swift show up, she then
- 13:48Speaker 2: gets behind and starts djaying a party like imagine this,
- 13:52Speaker 2: you're just at it. I don't even know how I
- 13:54Speaker 2: wouldn't be able to react. I would just be like,
- 13:56Speaker 2: this is it.
- 13:57Speaker 1: I've peaked.
- 13:57Speaker 2: Take me now.
- 14:01Speaker 1: It's so fab fantastic. I love it. Madonna wasn't there.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Madonna doesn't play nice. She doesn't play nice. But this
- 14:10Speaker 1: is a fabulous crowd. And then tail us we have
- 14:13Speaker 1: fabulous fabulous Okay, quickly before we go to break. Tom
- 14:17Speaker 1: Berger on who I like remember him on Hollywood Squares
- 14:20Speaker 1: and Dancing with the Stars. He now has revealed what
- 14:23Speaker 1: he misses most about the dance show. It's quite funny,
- 14:27Speaker 1: so it was stunning when he left the show after
- 14:31Speaker 1: fifteen years, and he said, to be honest, I never
- 14:35Speaker 1: watched it when I was hosting it. I obviously saw
- 14:37Speaker 1: it because I was there in the room, but I
- 14:39Speaker 1: didn't ever watch it while it was on TV. And
- 14:43Speaker 1: he was asked, why do you miss the most, and
- 14:46Speaker 1: he was quite blood He said the paycheck. He said,
- 14:51Speaker 1: obviously I missed some of the people. But I'm really
- 14:54Speaker 1: happy not hosting. So he's moved on. But what he
- 14:57Speaker 1: really misses is the I hear you, that was a
- 15:01Speaker 1: good paying gig, although he did have it for fifteen years,
- 15:06Speaker 1: and I'm sure he's saved a penny or two. Okay,
- 15:09Speaker 1: we're gonna take a quick break and pay for this
- 15:12Speaker 1: podcast with our fabulous sponsors who allow us to bring
- 15:16Speaker 1: you all this content absolutely free. So sit back and
- 15:20Speaker 1: we will be right back. Welcome back to the Naughty
- 15:26Speaker 1: but Naisham your host from Shooter with idear friend Donnie Meetam,
- 15:28Speaker 1: Hey Donnie. Let's get to the polls that the dub
- 15:32Speaker 1: Let's show. We talked about how Gwyneth Paltrow is showing
- 15:34Speaker 1: some love to Kate Middleton one year after she went
- 15:37Speaker 1: on a double date with Harry and Meghan. Our question
- 15:41Speaker 1: worse simple. Can you be friends with both? Let's have
- 15:45Speaker 1: a look. Eighty percent said yes. This is the Madonna
- 15:48Speaker 1: and the Cindy law for things. We don't have to
- 15:51Speaker 1: pick people against one another. You can like Kate and
- 15:55Speaker 1: you can like Megan. You can dislike Kate and you
- 15:58Speaker 1: can dislike Megan. You won't find me pitted these two
- 16:04Speaker 1: against each other and Naughty's you will with me? Hey,
- 16:07Speaker 1: don't forget to vote on today's poul go to a
- 16:10Speaker 1: Twitter page at Naughty Nice rab or on our Facebook
- 16:12Speaker 1: page which is Naughty Gossip, and be sure to check
- 16:16Speaker 1: back tomorrow to hear your results and now it's time
- 16:22Speaker 1: for our nicest of the day.
- 16:26Speaker 2: The nicest of the day. I have said it from
- 16:29Speaker 2: day one and I will say it again now. Keith
- 16:31Speaker 2: Urban and Nicole Kidman to me was a surprise relationship.
- 16:35Speaker 2: I just I never saw it coming. But they have
- 16:38Speaker 2: been together for a really long time.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Now.
- 16:40Speaker 2: They got married in June two thousand and six. Well,
- 16:43Speaker 2: Keith is now giving a heartfelt tribute to his wife
- 16:47Speaker 2: Nicole Kidman. So Keith been kind of open about his
- 16:51Speaker 2: struggles with addiction and alcohol and you know other things
- 16:55Speaker 2: that he dealt with, and he says, four months into
- 16:57Speaker 2: our marriage, his addictions over and really blew up their marriage.
- 17:02Speaker 2: You imagine four months into it and now we're like wow.
- 17:06Speaker 2: But what he's praising her for is that Nicole chose love.
- 17:10Speaker 2: Nicole chose to stand by him and be like, you
- 17:12Speaker 2: know what, these are your addictions, This is not you
- 17:15Speaker 2: as a person, and now look at them. I mean
- 17:16Speaker 2: they've survived all these years later.
- 17:19Speaker 1: It's amazing four months in the coal stood by him
- 17:23Speaker 1: eighteen years later and nicest of the day. Now, I'm
- 17:27Speaker 1: naughticed the day, naughty, naughty. The supports out of London
- 17:31Speaker 1: that Kate has really had to take a rest after
- 17:35Speaker 1: appearing at the trooping. The color it took its toll
- 17:39Speaker 1: on her. So we are hearing from entertainment Tonight sources
- 17:43Speaker 1: in Britain that now we're not going to see her
- 17:45Speaker 1: for a little bit. She's going to have a long
- 17:48Speaker 1: and well deserved rest. We don't expect to see her
- 17:52Speaker 1: at any upcoming events now we do know she is
- 17:56Speaker 1: still recovering cancer. You are a naughty of the day, Kate.
- 18:01Speaker 1: We are sending you our best. Hey, let's end with
- 18:05Speaker 1: a moment of rum. Make happiness a habit. Don't let
- 18:13Speaker 1: it happen by accident, because it won't every day. Get
- 18:17Speaker 1: up and make the decision to be happy. There's something
- 18:24Speaker 1: in your life that's got to be worth a smile,
- 18:27Speaker 1: There's something around you that's got to be worth a laugh.
- 18:32Speaker 1: Enjoy life. I try so hard to not only be happy,
- 18:38Speaker 1: but to make it a habit. This is something that
- 18:40Speaker 1: I do every single day. Donnie, you're a pretty happy chap.
- 18:44Speaker 1: Is it a decision or is it natural? Where is it?
