- 0:10What does the nanny do? OK, so we're done.
- 0:13Goodbye. You shut it off.
- 0:17Do not twist my words. Do not make me a victim.
- 0:20Sweetie. Just look at the mountain.
- 0:22That's what you saw. That day, just the knife in the
- 0:26kidneys over all these years and
- 0:32love you. Where we left off on the last
- 0:49episode was the Browns and the
- 0:53the teeny tiny miniature Assembly Hall auditorium for
- 0:58this panel discussion about polygamy.
- 1:02The highs, the lows, the dangers, the thrills, the
- 1:05excitements, the love, the triumphs.
- 1:10The editing on this was a little
- 1:12sudden it's like Meri's just talking.
- 1:14Now what we realize is that we're going to get a little bit
- 1:17of an introduction from each wife.
- 1:19So they're going to go through them and give them each a little
- 1:23Is it helpful? Up to you to decide.
- 1:25But that's where we are going, even though we didn't know it
- 1:28while watching the episode. No, they give weird sound bites
- 1:32during the entire panel. Yeah, we get bits and halves and
- 1:43It's very apparent when you're watching it that they're cutting
- 1:52little odd. Just want to let everybody know
- 1:55that ahead of time. Not only is it choppy, but we're
- 2:01questions. So not even teed up, just kind
- 2:07And one of our favorite quotes is misappropriated, misused.
- 2:12I don't even know. Yeah.
- 2:17But like a Barnacle on a whale's back, it's grown on all of us,
- 2:32I've never watched this. I've never seen this before.
- 2:35So you didn't even know? I didn't know and.
- 2:38And I let down our dear listeners.
- 2:40I was let down the lead up to this.
- 2:44I thought this was going to be much more aggressive than it
- 2:46was. Turns out Robyn's a fucking
- 2:49faker as per usual. God damn.
- 2:51Nothing new there. Nothing new there at all.
- 2:54First we're going to hear from Meri.
- 2:57We're going to hear a little bit about her back story.
- 2:59And Meri says when I was just a young baby, my mom was
- 3:05introduced to plural marriage and decided it was the life for
- 3:09her. I did not know that Meri was
- 3:14already born when brought into plural marriage.
- 3:17That was interesting to me. I don't recall through Becoming
- 3:22Sister Wives, their book or through other ventures that
- 3:26they've done or stories they've shared if we really learn about
- 3:30her mom and dad's entry into polygamy.
- 3:32But she was quite young when that happened.
- 3:35Her parents were married. There wasn't really, as far as I
- 3:39They were, you know, whatever they were doing and then became
- 3:41polygamous. There usually is a salacious
- 3:44story involved, but not sure of the details on that.
- 3:47Something happened. Then we hear from Janelle.
- 3:50Janelle talks about growing up in the mainstream Mormon LDS
- 3:54church. And then you know Janelle.
- 3:57Oh, see, I feel like in the last episode, I just gave her a
- 4:01mustard seed and I'm going to crush that mustard seed and
- 4:04spread it on a Wiener because she just, she disappoints with
- 4:16She doesn't say Meri's brother, but she met a guy.
- 4:20And then through meeting that guy, she was introduced to
- 4:23Meri's family and they became her token polygamist friends.
- 4:26And I'm going, excuse me? What the fuck?
- 4:29No, you married Meri's brother. You were part of her family, and
- 4:35That's quite a bit different than the story she gave at this
- 4:38panel. So there's our big first lie at
- 4:40the panel right there. Very, very odd way of saying
- 4:44that, darling. I just don't know why she can't.
- 4:50because they don't want it to color their story.
- 4:51But it's blatant lies and it's
- 4:56They lie and. Then we get our little
- 4:59introduction from Christine Brown.
- 5:01Little Princess of Plagues. Yes, polygamous royalty, that
- 5:06one. Christine says.
- 5:07I was raised in a polygamist family.
- 5:09I had two moms. What I didn't know was that I
- 5:14was raised in fear because we were told from a young age that
- 5:19if people find out, our dad is
- 5:24Oh Lord. My God, if they found out that
- 5:27he was a polygamist he would be thrown in prison.
- 5:31So apparently she didn't know that she was being raised in
- 5:33fear. I guess most people probably
- 5:34don't know they're being raised in fear until they figure it
- 5:36out. It's interesting how her
- 5:38reflection seems a bit siloed at
- 5:42Oh, so you now know that you were raised in fear, but you're
- 5:44not going to connect those dots to even.
- 5:47To your own kids, having to do
- 5:51For years and years I know I I I
- 5:54too much here. Being raised in fear.
- 5:58Fucking awful. Yeah, not good.
- 6:00It changes you, obviously. It's scary.
- 6:06How would you know you're being raised in fear until you're her
- 6:09age now and decided to come out as a family?
- 6:14It's more disturbing yet again
- 6:18And Christine with her rose colored glasses.
- 6:20It's a theme for her life as we know she references it in her
- 6:23book a lot. She was just sunny disposition
- 6:26optimistic Christine little bit in denial about the truth which
- 6:30works for this family. Now we get a clip from Robyn for
- 6:33her introduction and once again you guys friendly reminder that
- 6:36none of this is connected or really makes sense they.
- 6:38Obviously cut the shit out of her quality.
- 6:40Storytelling, she says. I fell in love with their family
- 6:44and I'm very happy with my family.
- 6:47We're not perfect, but what family is?
- 6:50OK, interesting. That's your story once again,
- 6:55production cut the shit out of
- 6:56So who knows what her actual spiel was, but they just leave
- 6:59her with that It was. Probably worse than that.
- 7:02That was probably the best that she said.
- 7:03So they're like, that's what we'll keep.
- 7:05I mean as we know her mommy was maybe Holly under duress
- 7:13situation until they got married.
- 7:15There we go, There we go. Plague mommy cheating mommy
- 7:20situation. Allegedly.
- 7:22Allegedly. Allegedly.
- 7:23Allegedly. Thank you, Legal.
- 7:24So yeah. But now we can't hear from the
- 7:27four wives without hearing from Kody as well, Darling.
- 7:30And what does Kody share with the audience?
- 7:32Kody says my experience with plural marriage has not been an
- 7:36easy one. It has been a challenge for us
- 7:42but it has been a blessing and
- 7:46marry the women I love. Wow, how poetic.
- 7:51Puke. I noticed here that Meri is
- 7:54sitting right next to Kollene and Aspen and Logan are sitting
- 8:01in the front row. Yes.
- 8:03So we thought and we knew that
- 8:06Logan is a surprise guest. We don't hear from him in the
- 8:08episode. No, but they're there to support
- 8:10their parents. We don't see him other than the
- 8:12back and side of his profile. Obviously it's Logan and Logan
- 8:18is sitting with Aspen. They're there to support their
- 8:21parents. Good for them.
- 8:24And I just want to make note about how they were giving him
- 8:26shit about not being there for
- 8:28Independent and he's too good for them.
- 8:30You're right. And here he is now.
- 8:31He does go to UNLV, but he's there supporting his family.
- 8:35Like, fuck you people. And I think it was Aspen that
- 8:38you gave the shit stain to that week.
- 8:40And now she's sitting next to him in the auditorium.
- 8:42I did. Aspen.
- 8:42I hope you learned a lesson girl.
- 8:44I hope you did, Darwin. He was right there next to you
- 8:47in that front row, supporting your mom.
- 8:50And like you said, with Meri being right next to Kollene,
- 8:54they are right in the middle of the stage, right?
- 8:56So it's Meri on one side, Kollene and then all the wives
- 8:58on the other side, and all of the other anti plagues on the
- 9:01other side of Kollene. I wonder if they put Kollene in
- 9:03the middle there because she's
- 9:06last or actually knew the family, or if they even went
- 9:10that far as to think about that.
- 9:11From a producer's lens, I would think that she might be the one
- 9:15that gets the most combative, so that's why I would put her
- 9:17there. But interestingly enough, as
- 9:19we're getting these shots through the scene, Meri seems
- 9:23very pleasant overall and almost has body language of being
- 9:27totally cool. And she referenced she was not
- 9:33way that she glances over and looks at Kollene where it's
- 9:36pretty nice and pretty open and welcoming.
- 9:39So seeing Kollene be how she can be next to Meri.
- 9:42And then Meri's like, I'm just here, I'm cool, I'm mayor and
- 9:45I'm like, OK, here we go, girls. We got we got Robyn on the end
- 9:52Oh yeah, she's at far. End Saucy.
- 9:54Opening that big jaw. Yep, it's a big dill.
- 9:58She's got the dill pickle jar and she's on the end.
- 10:01She's getting saucy. We're going to hear from Willie
- 10:03next about his experience. Willie says my experience of
- 10:07polygamy was hell. When 1 mother was mad at
- 10:11another, instead of taking it out on the mother, she took it
- 10:20My father was never around and
- 10:23when he was he wasn't a very decent person.
- 10:28And he's like doe eyed and he's not even giving us much about
- 10:35his family. He's not saying when my father
- 10:37was around he would hit us with the belt or he would do this or
- 10:42that. He's saying he wasn't a decent
- 10:44person. He's implying things that we're
- 10:47supposed to, I guess make up or we're.
- 10:48Supposed to infer. And it does align with his
- 10:51whole, you know, cult upbringing
- 10:53know, the whole thing that we discussed before, clearly not
- 10:57comfortable with public speaking.
- 10:58You don't have to be from a cult
- 11:01speaking. But he's pretty reserved during
- 11:04this entire thing. The bits he gives us are sad and
- 11:09there's obviously a problem there.
- 11:12You can just tell based on his
- 11:15there is more to the story. Way more to the story.
- 11:20But to be fair for Willie, they we also don't get a lot of
- 11:23juicy details from anybody in this panel, and it might be
- 11:26because of the editing. We really just get some
- 11:28salacious and some building confrontation and combativeness,
- 11:33but I'm not so sure that we get a lot of details that we want
- 11:36to get here. We'll see.
- 11:38We'll see where the journey takes us.
- 11:39Maybe a few more yucky, yucky things, but yeah.
- 11:45So as what happened with the Browns, it's going to happen
- 11:47with the anti plague folk and we're moving on from Willie to
- 11:50Christine Marie. And a reminder from our Part 1,
- 11:53she is the brains and beauty behind the Netflix documentary
- 11:58Trust Me, the False Prophet, which came out on Netflix
- 12:01earlier this year that we highly
- 12:05And Christine Marie, she does share more about her story than
- 12:08Willie did, doesn't she? I love how I'm like, oh, not
- 12:11much gets shared and then it's
- 12:13to let it all out. Yeah, it's really sad, she says.
- 12:17I thought I was the first wife.
- 12:20Then he had a revelation that another woman was going to be
- 12:25the first wife and I was going to have to financially support
- 12:44Still, she looks like a Lindsay Lohan music video from that era.
- 12:51yeah, is literally running down in a single line from each.
- 12:56Like a triangle? Like a triangle, triangle down
- 12:58to the skinny line. And it looked to me like stage
- 13:02makeup. It looked like it was placed
- 13:04there. It was.
- 13:05It was actually gorgeous. I'm like gorgeous, darling,
- 13:07gorgeous it. Literally looked like a scene
- 13:10out of a movie where someone was
- 13:13hadn't seen this before. They cut to her because of the
- 13:15jarring editing. So she's sitting there looking a
- 13:18little like I'm Kollene, You know what you're getting
- 13:20yourself into. And then all of a sudden she has
- 13:21this teardrop mascara going down
- 13:25girls, been feeling some feels
- 13:28And it's like, Robyn, that's what it looks like when you cry,
- 13:32you dumb bitch. Oh snap, snap.
- 13:37Kollene shares that sister wives
- 13:41They hate each other and if they're your babysitter, those
- 13:46kids are going to be beat and abused by those moms and her
- 13:50kids. Like and her kids.
- 13:54Yeah, remember we were just talking about Meri's
- 13:57embarrassing situation where she
- 14:00with these kids, and the mothers
- 14:04You take that another few steps further and you've got a mother
- 14:08not only abusing a kid that's not her bio kid, but allowing
- 14:12her children to do it. It's not hard for me to imagine.
- 14:16It's very easy for me to imagine
- 14:20control. Oh, as a mom, that breaks my
- 14:23fucking heart. It breaks my heart.
- 14:27I don't know if I could if my husband and I both died in a
- 14:32horrific flaming car accident and we had to leave our
- 14:36children. I mean, obviously they'd be
- 14:42going to my sister and her husband.
- 14:45I just think that they would do the best and closest job of
- 14:49raising them. But do I know that they would be
- 14:52treated exactly the same as my
- 14:56No, and that fucking kills me inside.
- 15:00If I ever died and my husband got remarried to another woman,
- 15:04do I think she would ever treat my children how I would treat
- 15:06them? No, and I'd probably haunt the
- 15:08motherfucking shit out of her.
- 15:12I told my husband, I'm like, if I ever die and you get
- 15:14remarried, it's not that I don't
- 15:18will haunt her because. Especially when she's getting
- 15:21that good D girl. I'm just, I'm just scared that
- 15:24my kids will not be treated the same as other people's kids if
- 15:27they're step or adopted or whatever.
- 15:31I just don't know how that works
- 15:35those shoes and it's scary to me.
- 15:39And it's very sad to think of even another mom in general.
- 15:45I couldn't have the heart to beat another child if and if it
- 15:48wasn't mine. I couldn't even imagine that.
- 15:51But obviously these women are pitted against each other, So
- 15:55what else would they do? The children are pitted against
- 15:58each other. Everyone is pitted against each
- 16:00other for the dad's affection,
- 16:04would happen. Yeah, the resentment growing,
- 16:07the anger being misplaced. When you think about in life,
- 16:10you don't even have to be a polygamist to have your anger
- 16:12grow and your resentment be misplaced.
- 16:14And all of a sudden you're in this situation where it's
- 16:16probably all magnified. You can be a stepmom and be
- 16:22removed from it and not want to be fucking the ex-husband and
- 16:25have this happen. Now imagine wanting to fuck the
- 16:28same guy. Right.
- 16:30Of course it's going to happen.
- 16:33Christine's aunt Kristyn shares her experience of taking on
- 16:37another sister wife. And she says when my husband
- 16:41married his second wife, my heart was broken.
- 16:44And when they drove away on their honeymoon, I didn't know
- 16:53heard things, I thought I was going to die.
- 16:56I was pretty much suicidal by then.
- 16:59So she's talking about hearing her husband fuck his second
- 17:03wife. Right.
- 17:04When she says, when I started to hear things, I heard things I
- 17:10can't even imagine. And you're supposed to be OK
- 17:13with this. And you're supposed to pretend
- 17:19I kept thinking in my mind about how the Browns we're in a
- 17:24trailer, when Janelle joined the family, and I guess maybe
- 17:27even when Christine did. I don't know.
- 17:29Details are a little hazy to me, but there's always this
- 17:32implication of hearing through the paper thin walls.
- 17:34So these women sitting on this stage have probably all
- 17:38experienced what she's talking about now.
- 17:41Do they identify with being suicidal?
- 17:44Couldn't say that. But they know what she's talking
- 17:50They are sitting there doing whatever.
- 17:52I do notice as this moves on, Christine does a lot of looking
- 17:57down, staring out, not really looking at the people that are
- 18:06experience, but I'm not here to acknowledge that.
- 18:08You know, I've got to come up with my rationales, my
- 18:10justifications and what I'm going to say next, but I can't
- 18:18having sex with them and I'm supposed to hear it and just be
- 18:23keep sweet about it. Supposed to keep sweet.
- 18:25And I can't even join in. I mean, come on, come on.
- 18:28Well, with your background you'd be knocking at the door being
- 18:31like, don't hold out on me. Hello, here we go.
- 18:36Now. But yeah, I mean it.
- 18:38Oh. My God.
- 18:39Oh. Lord, my God, troubling at best.
- 18:43that's not your vibe, that's not
- 18:46And Christine does, you know, jump in here to say something to
- 18:50her aunt. Oh, we gloss over the suicidal
- 18:53bit. Oh, of course, but we can't dive
- 18:54into that. Yeah, can't talk about the
- 18:56incest, can't talk about the suicide.
- 18:58Moving on. And so when Christine has this
- 19:01opportunity for rebuttal, she says, Aunt Kristyn, I love you,
- 19:05but I just don't know what I'm
- 19:08I remember you so well. And I remember your husband.
- 19:12And he was not a nice man. And she's trying to draw the
- 19:17connection here of, OK, you know, you're talking about these
- 19:21things that your nasty husband
- 19:22Well. I'm pointing out to you that
- 19:24that makes sense to me because
- 19:28asshole. Meanwhile, as I was saying, she
- 19:31has to identify with what her aunt is actually saying.
- 19:34So it's just more denial and more rejection and more crazy
- 19:37talk. And you know, of course, Kristyn
- 19:40does respond to her saying, well, I'm so glad that you're
- 19:43happy, but your family's an anomaly.
- 19:46And all around me are people whose stories are heartbreaking.
- 19:50So it's it's weird too, because of it being the niece aunt
- 19:55situation. They haven't seen each other in
- 19:57so long. There's this situation going on
- 19:59with them and Christine basically saying I hear you but
- 20:02your husband was an asshole so I
- 20:08point. Robyn has to put her beak out
- 20:10there, Robyn says. But you've also heard so many
- 20:17great stories, too. And I'm going what the fuck, out
- 20:22of nowhere and backed by who? Where is this backed by?
- 20:26How is it that Robyn can even say to this woman straight faced
- 20:30you've heard a lot of great stories, Like why are you
- 20:33telling me my experience of the stories that I've heard?
- 20:35Like insane Robyn is so dumb. She is so dumb.
- 20:39Hey, you're one against 5 bitch.
- 20:41You're one. Family is five.
- 20:43You don't know my life. You don't know my life, Robyn.
- 20:55And Robyn interrupts and says who you marry makes a huge
- 21:01difference. Of course, of course it does.
- 21:03Yeah, Robyn continues. I have a mother and sisters that
- 21:11starts tearing up. The fake tears ain't coming.
- 21:14The fake tears ain't coming. But you know, the voice does
- 21:17wobble as if she might cry. Yeah, absolutely.
- 21:20So, you know, she's her mother, who was potentially A mistress
- 21:29very happy in their polygamist relationships.
- 21:31They all love what's going on in their lives.
- 21:34So hello, Kristyn. Haven't you heard the stories
- 21:37about my family? Like what the fuck, Robyn?
- 21:39And then as we're moving on, of course Kody has to get the last
- 21:42word in. He doesn't even have the fucking
- 21:51Kody speaks up. Kody says.
- 21:53Our experience isn't your experience in a nutshell.
- 22:00Moving really solidified their points.
- 22:04Then our professor Creepo says we're going to take some
- 22:09questions our audience. That Professor Creepo, he really
- 22:16posed to Kody because he is the patriarch of this family and the
- 22:23Kody says 17. And so the question continues,
- 22:35active in my children's lives as anybody I know.
- 22:38Monogamist or polygamist. I'm once again wondering what
- 22:42the fuck are his wives thinking? I am honed in on Christine and
- 22:51scratched up under under her chest and she's got that
- 22:53dangling piece of jewelry and she is staring down.
- 22:56She is not reacting at all because as we know by this time,
- 23:03lives. They are literally remember he
- 23:09He's not there and we don't. Remote by Rock, paper, scissors
- 23:13Christine Marie says a quote somewhere during this question.
- 23:17We're not really sure where
- 23:19because they're cutting it so oddly, but Christine Marie says
- 23:24they're special overall, regardless of the culture.
- 23:27It is filled with unhappiness,
- 23:31children. I think she's just mentioning
- 23:35here that, well, if the father
- 23:39Kody's around. But regardless of if Kody's
- 23:42around or not, the culture is filled with unhappiness, poverty
- 23:46and poor education. Kody rebuttals It's unfair to
- 23:50say polygamy is evil because evil has happened to you.
- 23:54Monogamy also has evil. Other societies have evil.
- 23:58Religions have abuse, non religious families have abuse.
- 24:01It's like, OK, I mean, yeah, sure, I guess.
- 24:08And Kody points out how they're painting the Browns with a
- 24:11broad brush of their own experience.
- 24:13We get a lot of talk of this brush.
- 24:15We get to hear about painting. A lot of painting, a lot of
- 24:19broad brushing, a lot of brushing on experiences and
- 24:23painting people. Kristyn says.
- 24:25Well, no more than you are from everyone else.
- 24:29And Kody says, well, I'm not recommending plural marriage to
- 24:32everybody. I'm simply asking the world for
- 24:35permission to allow me and those who choose to do it to
- 24:41choose this. Is where things get muddy
- 24:44because we're about to hear one of our favorite quotes from the
- 24:49Sister Wives world. It's messy.
- 24:54It's different. It's different.
- 24:57It's different, Kollene says. We haven't directed anything
- 25:02onto you. We haven't painted anything on
- 25:11People are talking quick after each other.
- 25:13The voices are getting escalated and Robyn says, yeah, you did,
- 25:20Kollene says. I said sister wives, not
- 25:24indicating you guys. You said sister wives hate each
- 25:27other, says Robyn. It wasn't directed at you guys.
- 25:32But you know what?
- 25:34And then Robyn starts laughing
- 25:37condescendingly. She says.
- 25:39Does the world know that? Do they know that?
- 25:43Oh. My God, it's like.
- 25:46Like we're all idiots. We were just told that these
- 25:48people were going to share their
- 25:50The people in the audience know that they're sharing their
- 25:52perspectives. But Robyn is, you know, she's a
- 25:55little below IQ, so someone could have easily reminded her.
- 26:00These people are talking about
- 26:02Now, to be fair, they have said things like sister wives and
- 26:06polygamists and the culture. So I, you know, there is a
- 26:10little element to broad brushing, but it's just not teed
- 26:14up like that as far as what we're experiencing as viewers.
- 26:18Kristyn jumps in saying, I think
- 26:21story just like you're sharing
- 26:25And then we cut to another question from a woman in the
- 26:27audience. It's like this.
- 26:29This totally makes sense. You guys, if you're following
- 26:31along, God bless you. This is a mess.
- 26:33It is all over the place now. This woman's question.
- 26:37Oh, this woman's question. It is long and strangely worded.
- 26:42It's a little hard. I don't know, honey.
- 26:44Do you feel the that you have the personal strength to get
- 26:46through this question? Kody, the way you increase your
- 26:51tone of voice, the way the four women around you look at you
- 26:56for permission. For me, as a woman, I have a
- 27:01question. Meri's cackling in the
- 27:03background. Meri Meri Laughing Meri Meri
- 27:08Carey Carey. Continues Do you have the
- 27:11financial wherewithal if you want to take money and if you
- 27:16have to escape and leave Kody?
- 27:23you wanted to leave financially,
- 27:28And of course, Janelle responds saying I make my own money, I
- 27:32have my own bank account. And the audience starts
- 27:36clapping. It is kind of a, you know,
- 27:39classic Janelle moment to where it's like, yeah, OK, she's
- 27:42laughing at this thing, but. It's such bullshit though
- 27:45because Christine doesn't know
- 27:48If you've read her book, she admits that she didn't know
- 27:51about the money and she got her like stipend of the money and
- 27:57it's gross. It's interesting how if the
- 28:00wives have different experiences, so the four wives,
- 28:03it ties into the monogamist versus polygamist thing from our
- 28:06last episode, where a wife can
- 28:10doesn't align with the others to
- 28:13situation. So yeah, Janelle has her own
- 28:16checking account and she knows
- 28:18So that just means that none of the other women have to address
- 28:20that. They don't, or they don't know.
- 28:22Or in Robyn's case, they're a fraud and stealing everybody
- 28:24else's money, you know? Christine talks in her book
- 28:27about having to save money to the sides so that she can leave
- 28:31and get a second place where she
- 28:34family in another state. So obviously she had to save
- 28:38money. She didn't feel comfortable
- 28:40saying to Kody or Robyn or Meri or Janelle, I need the money to
- 28:45leave. Give me that money so I can get
- 28:49the fuck out of here. It's referenced so many times in
- 28:52this show how Kody Tees up that if you're unhappy, you know
- 28:56what? I'll buy you a house down the
- 28:57road. I'll take care of you and your
- 28:58children. You don't have to live with me.
- 29:00And it's such bullshit. It's just this thing where it's
- 29:02like, why would that ever even
- 29:04First of all, like, that's very bizarre, but it's this
- 29:07overcompensation of just doing
- 29:13It's gross. Also it's like bitch you're
- 29:15already not living with me so I don't know what else you want
- 29:19here. Like I want to be happy, I want
- 29:21another life. I would rather be with another
- 29:23man like that is the part that
- 29:29When Meri jumps on the train here, I married this man because
- 29:32I love him. I look to him because I'm
- 29:35anxious what he's going to say.
- 29:38And I'm also anxious to get the mic because I want to say what I
- 29:44Yeah, OK, You can say that I'm looking to him for whatever.
- 29:47Well, I'm looking to him because I want to hear what he has to
- 29:50say. And I love him, and that's why I
- 29:54woman in the audience, and she looks.
- 29:57Pissed. So I think she thought she was
- 30:01question. And then it was like, girl, you
- 30:03kind of failed and you actually kind of teed them up to answer
- 30:10And she's not happy about it. And then Christine jumps in
- 30:15saying, I understand your concern based on stereotypes.
- 30:18And Kody has said, if money's holding you back, I'll give you
- 30:22money to leave. You have your freedom, which is,
- 30:28about before where he's like, oh, I'll pay for you to leave.
- 30:33Like, well, aren't we already doing that?
- 30:34Except for kind of not. Yeah, Christine says.
- 30:37Kody would say. Look, if you're not happy, I'll
- 30:39give you the money and you can leave, Christine, Marie says.
- 30:43But you don't have the freedom to sleep with Kody every night
- 30:50They cut away to a couch moment and Kody talks about getting
- 30:55frustrated with where this conversation is going.
- 30:58And of course they cut back. And Meri says, do you know how
- 31:12And it's like, girl, OK, we're holding on here.
- 31:15We're holding on. We're holding on.
- 31:17On the couch, they say that they think things got heated and
- 31:21passionate because they stopped addressing the public AKA the
- 31:25audience and started addressing each other.
- 31:27So they started going back and forth with the plagues versus
- 31:32the anti plagues and like literally looking and arguing
- 31:37with each other versus answering questions and looking at the
- 31:40audience. Yes, because even when they were
- 31:44addressing the audience, trying to be persuasive.
- 31:46Now we've entered this phase where they are just back and
- 31:49forth, kind of yelling at each other.
- 31:51And Kristyn responds to Meri by saying, you know, Meri, I don't
- 31:55have to sleep with my husband every night, and he's not
- 31:58sleeping with other women. Like oh God, oh God, oh God.
- 32:03They go back to the couch and Meri is just like, you know
- 32:10what? That's her perspective.
- 32:13I know my truth. I'm a little shooketh.
- 32:19I'm a little shooketh that Meri is just whatever.
- 32:24Whatever. Yeah.
- 32:25Whatever. I literally don't even remember
- 32:28anything she said because while she was talking I was like, what
- 32:32Like what's going on here? Just care at all perspective.
- 32:35And I think Robyn was just sitting next to her, nodding
- 32:37like an idiot. Like, Oh yeah, yeah, so stupid.
- 32:39Think they've smoked the devil's
- 32:41lettuce before that couch? Moment.
- 32:43Maybe they found Maddie's stash and then we get another
- 32:47disappointing moment from Janelle.
- 32:49In my opinion, she's talking to the audience saying something
- 32:52along the lines of my beliefs say that I can choose my husband
- 32:57whether he's married or not, and
- 33:00Everyone gets the right to choose their religion.
- 33:06OK, You guys keep defaulting to these things that align to
- 33:11almost, like, civil rights. That's a bit of a stretch.
- 33:14But just this, it's choices, you
- 33:16Like, I get the choice. I'm not hurting anyone by doing
- 33:19this, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 33:20And it's like, yeah. But even what you're saying like
- 33:23you get to choose your husband
- 33:26But they're not even tying it to
- 33:28They're not even talking about
- 33:32They're talking about, Oh well, we can just marry whoever we
- 33:35want. They're not saying why.
- 33:39They're not saying why in their religion it's important, why it
- 33:42matters. Right.
- 33:44So they're skirting around the
- 33:47believes you would get closer to
- 33:51And it's going to come up a little bit later with one of the
- 33:55anti plagues as to why this is
- 33:59But Christine Marie here says,
- 34:03stretch, but I want you to open your minds here.
- 34:05I kind of see it. OK, I'm I'm currently opening my
- 34:09mind because this one is a doozy.
- 34:12I don't know if it is. Oh, OK, Christine Maurice says,
- 34:15and compares their plural marriage to driving drunk.
- 34:19She says, yes, you can and you
- 34:23But most everyone's not like you.
- 34:26So usually it's filled with problems, poverty and issues,
- 34:29and you're just unique. OK, if you were driving drunk
- 34:34and you just got lucky and made it home, fine, you're the
- 34:38exception. But usually when you drive
- 34:40drunk, you're going to get in an
- 34:43You might hurt somebody else, you might hurt yourself, you
- 34:46might take a lot of people down along the way.
- 34:49And it's not even worth doing it
- 34:53Not worth the risk. Yeah.
- 34:55That's what she's saying, and I agree.
- 34:59That connection, I see the dots connecting.
- 35:02It just felt extreme when she was saying it in the way that
- 35:05she was saying it to me. But I don't know.
- 35:07I mean, it makes sense. I don't know.
- 35:11I don't know. It is more likely that abuse is
- 35:14going to happen in a large family than not.
- 35:18OK. You're upping the chances of
- 35:20your children getting abused. You're upping the chances of
- 35:23yourself getting abused. That is just the reality.
- 35:27The more people you add to a situation, the more people that
- 35:30you don't know very much, the more people that might get
- 35:34angry. The odds go up, sure, and I'm
- 35:37not willing to take those chances personally.
- 35:42I agree. With this, is that why you told
- 35:44your husband no to the sister wives?
- 35:46That's 1000% why I said no to the sister.
- 35:49Wives, the rate of me being abused, the likelihood of me
- 35:52being abused is going up and up with every wife you want to
- 35:54add. No, you know what?
- 35:57The chances of a child getting essayed or abused by a parent
- 36:04that is a stepparent, they go up by 10 times to 40 times compared
- 36:14Like, it's insane. OK, It's insane.
- 36:19So let's say you're introducing, essentially in their situation,
- 36:26three other external parents. The chances of your children
- 36:32getting abused go up by that three times, right?
- 36:37It's fucked up. Yeah.
- 36:39I can't even imagine it. And we wonder why the FLDS
- 36:43church had the issues that it fucking had.
- 36:46It's disgusting. Not to mention the fact that
- 36:49you, just, as a dad, can't give your children as much attention
- 36:52as they need. Kody's answer was bullshit.
- 36:56You have 17 fucking kids and you're mean to tell me that you
- 37:01can give them all the emotional attention that they need?
- 37:03My dad had two kids and couldn't fucking do it.
- 37:07All right, All right. Well, you know, yeah, I agree.
- 37:16honest. I understand, I understand.
- 37:20Yeah. And there's even an element to
- 37:25recent events with one of the Brown children that I don't want
- 37:40there has been abuse and it turns out that you are the one
- 37:46attention. You are the problem and that is
- 37:49seems far more likely to happen in a situation in a polygamous
- 38:00Yeah, it's pretty insane. Historically cited in some
- 38:06literature as being multiplied by 10 to 40 times an increase of
- 38:16biological parents. And I'm not saying this like I
- 38:24Single parents in general are doing their best.
- 38:27You have to be so, so fucking careful when you introduce
- 38:32somebody else into your child's life.
- 38:33Now imagine just inherently doing that.
- 38:36And we got married in the last episode saying, but I'm not
- 38:40raising my children with you anymore.
- 38:42Bitch, you're supposed to be their mom.
- 38:45So if you're looking at them as not your children, they're at 10
- 38:55All right, I'm going to get off my soapbox.
- 38:57I just like. As a mom, that is so terrifying
- 39:01to me. It's not worth it.
- 39:03Not worth it. Yeah, after Christine Marie has
- 39:07this drunk driving scenario as a connection to what's going on
- 39:12with the family, Meri points out that that was a broad brush
- 39:16statement. So once again, you are trying to
- 39:24bit of credence in my mind because they are saying that
- 39:26that's what they're doing. And it did have a little bit of
- 39:29that feel, but I don't know, you can't.
- 39:32Just say I understand the analogy, but that's just not it.
- 39:36real connection to them individually.
- 39:39It's just this default defense
- 39:42you're painting us with a broad brush.
- 39:44And now we get to hear from Professor Creepo again.
- 39:47He gets a direct to camera moment.
- 39:49We're now, honey, we're going to
- 39:53We're going to learn a little lesson from Professor Creepo.
- 39:56We're going. To get some weird stats that
- 39:59have no merit whatsoever as far as we know.
- 40:03He didn't cite his source in this interview.
- 40:05No, he did not. He says 30% of polygamous
- 40:10families have a satisfactory marriage, 35% have issues,
- 40:16serious issues, Another 35% are completely dysfunctional.
- 40:23I love these categories, right?
- 40:25Satisfactory, serious issues and completely dysfunctional.
- 40:28I mean, I guess, you know, I don't know who we went from
- 40:32satisfactory to serious issues, but OK.
- 40:34And he doesn't say how it's classified the criteria.
- 40:37Absolutely. It is kind of bullshit, but OK,
- 40:40let's pretend that he's speaking the truth here.
- 40:42Let's go with it. How does this square with
- 40:46monogamy? He wants us to know.
- 40:48I would suspect we find the percentage is more or less the
- 40:58I want to sign up for his classes immediately.
- 41:01Once again, is he being paid by a public school to be doing
- 41:05this? I do think it's a publicly
- 41:07funded. I'm not even going to go into
- 41:08it. I feel like I need to use the
- 41:11word profunctory here for some reason.
- 41:13It's a profunctory and he was allowed to go on ATV showing
- 41:19signed off on by the school to spout some random percentages
- 41:24out at us. It definitely aligns with my
- 41:28experience. All monogamous couples that I
- 41:30know probably fall into a 30% satisfactory, 35% serious
- 41:34issues, and 35% completely dysfunctional category.
- 41:37My senior thesis at the University of Minnesota had
- 41:40better conclusions than this motherfucker who's a professor
- 41:47Now Christine Marie is going to take us on a left hand turn.
- 41:52She did put on her turn signal, but it's only a slight left in
- 41:58happen if one day you woke up and realized that all of this
- 42:04was for superstition, which I love.
- 42:07And Robyn says, well then I would leave.
- 42:10And Christine Marie says Amen. Oh God, oh God, here we go.
- 42:17We're easing into one of the best moments of the episode.
- 42:21We're getting lubed up, ready to go in, and Kristyn asks Meri if
- 42:25it was accurate that she and Robyn had both said that they
- 42:30live this lifestyle because it's their belief.
- 42:33So basically, you would leave if you didn't believe in the faith.
- 42:39here with some word salad or do you think?
- 42:43I mean, the root of this is saying you marry this man that
- 42:45you did because of your religious faith.
- 42:47So are you saying that if your
- 42:50would leave your husband? That's like what she's saying,
- 42:53right? Yeah, and the superstition bit
- 42:56is almost a little OK. You knock on wood, you get
- 43:02further into heaven. You are with a husband, with
- 43:05more wives. You get a step further into
- 43:07heaven. You're closer to heaven, You're
- 43:09closer to God. You are in the land of the
- 43:13chosen ones further and further based on the wives.
- 43:18So what I'm gathering here is they're getting to, if you
- 43:23didn't believe that anymore, if you just didn't think that it
- 43:26would get you further into heaven, would you leave this
- 43:28lifestyle? And Robyn, I think she's been
- 43:33pretending this whole time and I
- 43:36in her head what she's going to say because she started
- 43:40responding to Kollene with this do not earlier in the
- 43:47questioning and didn't get to say it because she was
- 43:51interrupted. OK.
- 43:52So then we get our famous words from Robyn, and they don't even
- 43:58make sense here. They don't even make sense here.
- 44:06basically what you're just saying is that you would leave
- 44:09if you guys didn't believe it.
- 44:13words. If I woke up unhappy I would
- 44:16leave. Do not make me a victim,
- 44:20sweetie. Yes, and the poll from this
- 44:24quote is an infamous line from
- 44:27This is the very first sound bite that we're getting from the
- 44:30show that is referenced in our
- 44:34podcast. Don't twist my words.
- 44:37Do not make me a victim, sweetie.
- 44:41And it was satisfying to hear because I hear it all the time.
- 44:45I hear it so many times. I feel like I need to compulsory
- 44:49just say it one more time myself.
- 44:50Please do. Do not twist my words.
- 44:53Do not make me a victim, sweetie.
- 44:58So satisfying. It's unfortunate that it's Robyn
- 45:01and it's unfortunate that it's
- 45:04It is fortunate that she did try
- 45:08off. At least we got that
- 45:09satisfaction. It would have made sense
- 45:11earlier. It doesn't fucking make sense
- 45:13here. She sat on this.
- 45:15She was holding the sides of her
- 45:21white knuckles, waiting to fucking.
- 45:24Say yes and the nonverbals is her literally leaning over, Mike
- 45:29in hand, ready to do it. Like she has been crouching,
- 45:33crouching, waiting for these moments to say something like
- 45:37this. Like a Viper, like an owl in a
- 45:39tree waiting to strike. Because ordinarily, you know,
- 45:43she looks like she's sitting there missing what's going on,
- 45:47completely unaware of her surroundings or what anybody's
- 45:50doing, and then piping in eventually to, you know, say her
- 45:53two cents because she has to talk.
- 45:54Because she's not listening, she's waiting to speak.
- 45:58Yes, for the one line that she
- 46:01Yeah. So our Netflix documentary
- 46:04Goddess Christine Marie asks Kody if his motivation was his
- 46:09faith, and he agrees. OK, cool, whatever.
- 46:13I don't know why we're stuck on that.
- 46:15Like, why would that even? Like, of course it is.
- 46:17Well, she's trying to maybe ask if it's about, you know, his
- 46:21carnal nature, his tool of God, which he's saying, yes, it's
- 46:25about my tool of God. We know what that tool is.
- 46:27But he just gets to say it's my faith, it's my faith, whatever.
- 46:30This is my faith. Fucking liar.
- 46:34The last bit of this episode, we
- 46:36between couch moments with the Browns and then back to some
- 46:39of the post panel footage after they've wrapped up.
- 46:42So do they give us a nice clean bow of the actual panel ending?
- 46:46Of course not, because this was edited like crap and all of a
- 46:48sudden the panel's just done. But we have this couch moment
- 46:52with the Browns and Meri Cher.
- 46:56debate turned out that it was so
- 46:59And Christine says the debate in
- 47:05And then they show Kristyn hugging Logan and Janelle
- 47:11talking to Kollene, asking her
- 47:15license. And then Kristyn and Christine
- 47:21are having a conversation and Kristyn says, do you all want to
- 47:25go out for dinner? So once again, a reminder for
- 47:30those of you who are going, who the fuck are they talking about
- 47:33this episode? Kristyn is Christine's aunt who
- 47:36is now chatting with her after
- 47:39And you know, we had Christine
- 47:42The whole thing was about avoiding her.
- 47:44She's so scared. She doesn't know what she's
- 47:45going to do. Now they've had this combative
- 47:47discussion. The panel is wrapped and Kristyn
- 47:49is asking her niece, who she hasn't had a relationship with
- 47:52in a very long time, asking her do you want to go to dinner?
- 47:57Christine, of course, says no.
- 48:03not like, this is over? If you truly respect each
- 48:06other's opinions and you get where each other are coming
- 48:10from, you see the other side of the story, which is what you
- 48:13essentially came down to on the stage, why not just go to
- 48:17dinner? And it turns out that Kristyn
- 48:21was waiting for Christine to leave the bathroom to be
- 48:24respectful and Christine thought
- 48:28there to intimidate her the whole time.
- 48:31The miscommunication in this family is on the same level as a
- 48:38fucking sitcom. This is some sort of like
- 48:42Friends bullshit, standing in the corner waiting for someone
- 48:46to leave because you're trying
- 48:49they're in there shaking in their hot boots.
- 48:51So I'm so scared. No, that is not even what was
- 48:55happening, Christine. It's upsetting and it's kind of
- 48:59sad because they lost a moment
- 49:01They did miss an opportunity to reconnect and given that her
- 49:06aunt was talking to her like this, I didn't pick up on any
- 49:10villain behavior, you know, like, do you want to go get
- 49:12dinner with me like she was just
- 49:15genuinely asking You want to go grab a bite?
- 49:17Like I don't know, I. Really think she was.
- 49:20Going back to the couch, Kody says it was sad because they
- 49:23never came to any kind of agreement during these panels.
- 49:26And Janelle piggybacks on that
- 49:29didn't even agree to disagree.
- 49:34that. Take away that we really didn't
- 49:37end anything well and we didn't even really agree to disagree.
- 49:41The thing that I agreed with was
- 49:44It's sad because we never reached over the fence.
- 49:47We never figured out how to help
- 49:51OK, Yeah. So it could have come to
- 49:54something if they would have figured out a way to help people
- 49:57that were really struggling in
- 50:00polygamy is going to happen whether you like it or not.
- 50:03So what can we do to help people
- 50:07distress and needing help, right?
- 50:09I agree with Kody there. Yeah, they could have pivoted to
- 50:15both talking about that happened in the culture.
- 50:17They both acknowledge it. The Browns are saying that's not
- 50:29And they never got on the same
- 50:31page about what they even have
- 50:34They were all taking it too personally instead of looking at
- 50:37the broad picture. The broad strokes with the brush
- 50:40were distracting them from the
- 50:43take away could have been their shared experience.
- 50:46Because, Robyn says yet again.
- 50:49The truth would not be heard here.
- 50:52What are you talking about? The truth is both sides.
- 50:56The truth is all the things. Right, like the anti plague
- 51:00people were just lying. Like, no, Robyn, they weren't.
- 51:03Christine and Willie are talking
- 51:06and leaving and Christine is asking Willie if he's OK and
- 51:11he says yes, yes I'm OK and they show everybody chatting
- 51:17afterwards that was on the panel and it doesn't seem combative.
- 51:21I don't understand why they couldn't have gone out to dinner
- 51:23and just had a conversation about other things.
- 51:28Because if you connect on another level outside of
- 51:32polygamy versus non polygamy, it
- 51:35come back together and fight the good fight later.
- 51:39Right. Yeah, if that was your goal.
- 51:41They lost out. But we get to hear more from
- 51:43Professor Creepo, so that's exciting.
- 51:45This is great. A part of the ending that I'm
- 51:47excited about when he's talking about polygamous families and
- 51:51their success criteria. Oh, he has boiled it down to
- 51:55three bullet points that he thinks is the success criteria
- 51:58for polygamist. This is backed by fact, science,
- 52:02stats and his bad dye job. His observations of what helps a
- 52:09polygamist family succeed. And of course these things are
- 52:14mind blowing and hard to understand.
- 52:17Not economically well off is the
- 52:20So, you know, I guess that's pretty much universal.
- 52:23I don't know that that's necessarily polygamous specific.
- 52:26But yeah, it turns out if you're
- 52:29meet everyday, you might have a little bit more success in
- 52:31your. Life be happier.
- 52:33One that is polygamous specific is if the husband manages
- 52:37affection as to not demonstrate a favorite wife.
- 52:41He says, he says #2 the husband worked very hard at trying to
- 52:47manage his affection if he had a favorite wife.
- 52:50It was very quiet. It was very.
- 52:53Quiet. What the fuck #3?
- 52:57And most important? The sister wives have become
- 53:03friends, and I've learned that from the Browns.
- 53:07In what study have you learned that the study of the Browns
- 53:15behavior over how many meetings I want to know.
- 53:18Right. How many Pelagos families have
- 53:22What? I'd love to know the parameters
- 53:24of what friends are in a sister wife relationship.
- 53:27You know what I mean? Like, yeah, these bitches are
- 53:31all saying they're friends, OK? These bitches are falsifying
- 53:35records. Left.
- 53:36And right, he's seeing what he wants to see.
- 53:40This guy is weird. He's weird.
- 53:41He is weird and so for those of you that have seen the show, you
- 53:49show. And when he returns, I would say
- 53:52it's actually even worse than this.
- 53:54So you got that to look forward to.
- 53:57Robyn thinks that more families just need to come forward and
- 54:00they catch her from a side view.
- 54:03This. Monster looking bitch from
- 54:07Transylvania. This bird ass bitch thinks that
- 54:12just more families need to come forward and it'd be all right.
- 54:18We need to get more people to share their stories, Kody
- 54:22volunteers. I melted down.
- 54:25So he melted down, apparently. I don't know what that means.
- 54:30I guess he feels like he didn't say enough.
- 54:33But Robyn looks at him lovingly. You know, she looks over that
- 54:38nose just like the drunk driver, closing one eye to stay between
- 54:41the lines. She's staring at Kody.
- 54:43She says. I don't think you melted down.
- 54:48I think your beliefs were under attack and you stood up for your
- 55:05like never mind, next episode is the same shit.
- 55:07Next episode looks a little exciting.
- 55:09We are going to learn about Leon's school issues and their
- 55:28Oh, I thought you were going to say giving away his purity.
- 55:32Giving away as ugly as jewelry and seeing if the wives are
- 55:38disappointed. We're jealous of each other's
- 55:41jewelry from Moreno Enterprises. Moreno Enterprises.
- 55:44But best of all, we're going to a marriage retreat.
- 55:50Oh God with the therapist. I can't remember her name right
- 55:55now, but this is going to be good.
- 55:57We're going to call her Godiva. Lady Godiva.
- 55:59No, we're not going to call her. There, I can't wait to meet you,
- 56:07It's going to be good. A marriage retreat that really,
- 56:10really helps them strengthen their marital bonds.
- 56:13These four women and Kody. It's about as real as it sounds.
- 56:20and shit stain. I think you should go versus
- 56:22Sam. Oh God, OK so my mustard seed
- 56:25this episode is going to go to
- 56:31a little point to help even up
- 56:34even though she did deserve it
- 56:36Totally deserve it, she. Totally did deserve it, but she
- 56:39made-up for it with this episode
- 56:44other mom and her other mom and her other mom that aren't
- 56:46really moms by going to this panel, sitting front row,
- 56:51smiling, showing support and hanging out with Logan.
- 56:56We didn't hear a lot from her this episode, but she did really
- 57:00encourage Christina at the beginning.
- 57:01You know, she was like trying to
- 57:04and saying you've got this. There's nothing to be worried
- 57:06about. You're going to be great.
- 57:08And also then saying to the camera, I know my mom's fucking
- 57:11nervous and I've got to be there
- 57:13So at least she did support her family, whether they deserved
- 57:15it or not. That's a good one because I
- 57:19would say my mustard seed is going to go to Christine's Aunt
- 57:26Kristyn. Oh, OK.
- 57:28I think she obviously had an experience completely opposite
- 57:35of what was being portrayed. She stuck it out for 33 years,
- 57:40which is difficult. Whether you think that's good or
- 57:43bad, whether you think you know she broke away from that after
- 57:49that long, either way, she seems
- 57:54She seems very intelligent. She, I was very articulate
- 58:00through everything. The only time that I thought she
- 58:03overstepped was saying that she wanted to kidnap Christine and
- 58:06it was obviously an over exaggeration of how she feels.
- 58:11It was bad wording given the circumstances and given the cult
- 58:17that they're in and the fact that people do kind of have to
- 58:20be kidnapped from it sometimes
- 58:24I mean, but I think she was very
- 58:29props for getting out and then
- 58:33So my mustard seed goes to Kristyn.
- 58:37My shit stain has me in the fields a bit because I'm giving
- 58:43my shit stain to Janelle. I think there are several
- 58:48choices in this episode, but the
- 58:51Janelle is because I really, really don't like the lying.
- 58:56I really don't like the lying.
- 59:00with the narrative that she's currently running with with I
- 59:04used to have to lie. I used to have to lie.
- 59:06I'm so glad I don't have to lie.
- 59:08You're still lying. She lied about being married to
- 59:11Meri's brother and made it sound as if she made it sound as
- 59:15if she was friends with Meri's family, her token polygamous
- 59:18friends. Oh my gosh.
- 59:19And then I just kind of felt like, oh, I just could, you
- 59:21know, whatever. No, you're lying.
- 59:23It was a bold faced lie. I do not like that.
- 59:26You're right. I also was not a fan of how
- 59:30Janelle talked about making her own money and having her own
- 59:34bank account and almost cackling in a condescending manner that
- 59:45same position. So yes, she's speaking for
- 59:47herself, but she knows that she is unique in that situation, so
- 59:50that was fucked up. She also says because of her
- 59:54religious beliefs, she's allowed to marry whoever she wants,
- 59:57whether they're married or not. Yeah, which is whatever that is.
- 1:00:02the actual religious beliefs about getting into heaven.
- 1:00:06They're glossing over the fact
- 1:00:10marriage to begin with. This is holdover also from
- 1:00:15recent episodes where she was talking about the lying and how
- 1:00:18she was over that and she doesn't have to lie anymore but
- 1:00:20she's still lying and I really
- 1:00:23I just really do not like that.
- 1:00:25It might not be that dramatic but this episode has made my
- 1:00:29brain turn into mush and crap. So I crap a pile of crap.
- 1:00:33So Janelle, you get my shit stain.
- 1:00:36My shit stain is going to go to Robyn yet again.
- 1:00:39As always, she seems to get one because she didn't listen.
- 1:00:45She did not listen, she was just waiting to answer.
- 1:00:50That's a huge problem with a lot of people.
- 1:00:54They're in a conversation and instead of listening to the
- 1:00:58person they're speaking with, they're waiting till they can
- 1:01:01speak. I got that a lot from her with a
- 1:01:09We think of that as a very dramatic line where she's
- 1:01:13standing up for herself and there is somebody calling her
- 1:01:16out and saying something horrible leading up to it.
- 1:01:22Bullshit. Complete and utter bullshit.
- 1:01:24She tried to say it earlier on.
- 1:01:27I heard the beginning of this line earlier on in the episode
- 1:01:36And then she says it later and I'm like, bitch, you've been
- 1:01:40waiting to say that. You have been waiting to say
- 1:01:43that. You're such a fucking liar and
- 1:01:54Sweetie. You play the victim card more
- 1:01:57than anyone else in this family. Oh, yeah?
- 1:02:00So you're doing it to yourself. Shut the fuck up.
- 1:02:03The only reason that word is in your head is because you know
- 1:02:06you want to play it. Yeah.
- 1:02:08So how about you shut your dirty whore mouth, Robyn Siri?
- 1:02:13Dirty whore mouth. Siri Net Siri.
- 1:02:16Oh, Speaking of Robyn getting your shit stain, we're going to
- 1:02:19do a little mini keep suite before we do our big keep suite.
- 1:02:25comment that just came in this
- 1:02:29Robbins purity speech episode.
- 1:02:35pointed out that Robyn should get a shit stain for turning her
- 1:02:39whole phase into a Me Too story.
- 1:02:42That it's shameful and it absolutely is shameful and what
- 1:02:46a great connection. It's one of those comments where
- 1:02:52because it's totally true. Like your whole face is now a me
- 1:02:58Robyn, you literally just had an entire episode about how you're
- 1:03:02a fake victim. Bullshit, bullshit.
- 1:03:05Bullshit, Robyn. But a real keep sweet moment
- 1:03:08this week is a YouTube comment from Katie 2284.
- 1:03:12And Katie says, I just wanted to say that the first time I saw a
- 1:03:18video from you guys, the opening song made me cry because
- 1:03:21my Papa would sing that to me when I was little.
- 1:03:24He passed away in 2003 and I hadn't heard that song since
- 1:03:27then. It was an instant subscribe in
- 1:03:38the sweet thing. But I don't know, that just hit
- 1:03:41me in a certain spot, made me feel humanity, which is very
- 1:03:45unlike me. And I'm just so glad that Katie
- 1:03:492284, you shared that story on a YouTube comment.
- 1:03:52Yeah, it warms my cockles. Yeah, it makes me feel something
- 1:04:00Songs are so magical because they can take us back to a point
- 1:04:14auditorium during this panel. That's all I have to say.
- 1:04:19It probably would bring me back to a place in time where I was
- 1:04:30Well, honey, maybe you would have enjoyed your college
- 1:04:32experience a little more if you had Professor Creepo there
- 1:04:34helping you out, guiding you with his analytics and his data.
- 1:04:40me to become a sister wife.
