- 0:38Speaker 1: The spooky season very well highlighted in this vampire romance
- 0:44Speaker 1: fiction from the mid two thousands.
- 0:48Speaker 3: It's our most Halloween episode yet incredible.
- 0:52Speaker 2: Peakimprov dot Com. Get your tickets now, please. We got
- 0:58Speaker 2: film Club later on right. Yeah, here we do another.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Bond, another Bond, another week, another Bond.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Another week, another Bond. Or the mics are hot as
- 1:09Speaker 2: we're doing a film club project.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Yes, the mics are hot, unlike this Bond.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Unlike this Bond where we're watching all twenty five Bond
- 1:19Speaker 2: movies from the start. That's the that's the extra cultural
- 1:24Speaker 2: currency that's going into our eyes.
- 1:28Speaker 1: And it's fun.
- 1:30Speaker 2: But also Wolf, the club is so much fun.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Oh, the club is a joy. The club is a
- 1:38Speaker 1: treasure on this earth.
- 1:40Speaker 2: But I tell you what's not fun Bond and specifically
- 1:43Speaker 2: Sean Connery as James Bond.
- 1:45Speaker 1: I'm wondering how things will shift as we move through
- 1:47Speaker 1: the Bond we have had, I'll say, a progression of
- 1:52Speaker 1: the representation of women from strictly hot to this one
- 1:58Speaker 1: had hot and sidekick.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Is the capability? Yes, like fuckable Robin. What's the point
- 2:07Speaker 1: of this Bond girl.
- 2:08Speaker 2: The fuckable boy? Wonder?
- 2:10Speaker 1: Yep, basically, And that's that's a step up.
- 2:15Speaker 2: You can almost chart the path of feminism through the
- 2:17Speaker 2: Bond films, but only through the lens of like a
- 2:22Speaker 2: conservative little Englander who only watches Bond movies. And so
- 2:29Speaker 2: we're even by like the twenty tens, it's still not
- 2:32Speaker 2: going to be great.
- 2:33Speaker 1: No, Well, are women treated in the twenty tens? Was
- 2:38Speaker 1: it great?
- 2:39Speaker 2: No?
- 2:40Speaker 1: So I think it's just accurate.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true. We can just chart the history of
- 2:44Speaker 2: women through James Bond. That's actually a good addition to
- 2:47Speaker 2: this project.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Oh yes, I'll start a chart, another chart. That's the
- 2:52Speaker 1: only thing that's keeping me saying in all of these
- 2:54Speaker 1: bonds is the number of charts that I've made in accompaniment.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Yes, my favorite chart is the crustacean chart for whether
- 3:02Speaker 2: or not a crustacean appeared in the film. And out
- 3:05Speaker 2: of five movies, two have had crustaceans.
- 3:08Speaker 1: In prominently featured.
- 3:10Speaker 2: And I would say out of those three that didn't,
- 3:13Speaker 2: two of them had sea life of some kind. So
- 3:16Speaker 2: it's a big If you like aquariums, you'll like James Bond.
- 3:20Speaker 1: You will. There is an overabundance of wet Bond.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Bond gets so wet, so.
- 3:28Speaker 1: He'll be in scuba gear from like film four on. Yes,
- 3:32Speaker 1: they love to put Bond in a wetsuit.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Yeah, something about seeing Sean Connery's the one thing that's
- 3:39Speaker 2: nice about Sean Connery is that he has a regular body. Yes,
- 3:43Speaker 2: like he doesn't. He's the leading man, but he doesn't
- 3:45Speaker 2: have one of these like modern Dwayne the Rock Johnson,
- 3:48Speaker 2: Jason MoMA bodies. He's not a Hemsworth, He's not a Hemsworth.
- 3:52Speaker 2: He's not Chris.
- 3:53Speaker 1: No, he's none of the chris Is. He's none of
- 3:55Speaker 1: the Hemsworths, none of them, none of them and we've
- 3:59Speaker 1: seen all of his legs.
- 4:01Speaker 2: We've seen too much of Connery leg We've seen.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Too much of Sean Connery's legs and not enough of
- 4:06Speaker 1: acting skills. Yeah, is that rude?
- 4:09Speaker 2: No, I don't think he's a very good actor in
- 4:12Speaker 2: this I think he gets better when he gets older.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Or maybe it's just that we've become so used to
- 4:17Speaker 2: the idea of him as a leading man, we just
- 4:19Speaker 2: buy it that.
- 4:20Speaker 1: It's not that he has improved as a person, it's
- 4:24Speaker 1: that our resolve has lessened.
- 4:26Speaker 2: Yeah, it's so hard to like. I don't I was
- 4:29Speaker 2: trying to find like silver linings and positives for Sean Connery,
- 4:33Speaker 2: but he was a sort of mad misogynist, so it's
- 4:36Speaker 2: really I don't want to find the silver. I'm just
- 4:38Speaker 2: gonna say he's kind of a bad actor.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Yeah, in multiple ways.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Yes, Yes, he was a bad actor.
- 4:46Speaker 1: See he has range. Hello, and welcome to Bonus Round.
- 5:00Speaker 1: We have a bit of news. Yes, up top this feed.
- 5:05Speaker 1: We have had something on here once a week for
- 5:08Speaker 1: quite a while. We are going in twenty twenty six
- 5:10Speaker 1: back to every other week fortnightly.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Yeah, fortnightly. Yes, we will be returning to the days
- 5:17Speaker 2: of twenty twenty four, twenty twenty three, ooh, twenty twenty two, ooh,
- 5:22Speaker 2: the years.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Are getting at the closer you get to twenty twenty,
- 5:26Speaker 1: the rougher things get. But those are still pretty good years.
- 5:28Speaker 2: That's okay. We're not moving further back than that. We're
- 5:31Speaker 2: returning to the days where we released a fandomonium every
- 5:34Speaker 2: two weeks. We're returning to our bread and butter.
- 5:38Speaker 1: I like bread and butter.
- 5:40Speaker 2: Yeah, bread and Butter's delicious.
- 5:41Speaker 1: I'm just basic with a bit of soup with like
- 5:44Speaker 1: a good winter soup.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Oh, especially at this time of year.
- 5:47Speaker 1: It's delicious.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Yeah. So we're going back to making just fandomoniums every
- 5:53Speaker 2: two weeks on this podcast feed. That's what we set
- 5:55Speaker 2: out to do. It's what we love doing. It's my
- 5:59Speaker 2: favorite thing in the world. I love playing silly fandom
- 6:02Speaker 2: panel show games with everyone. So that's what we're gonna
- 6:06Speaker 2: return to. So that's still like what twenty some pandemoniums
- 6:11Speaker 2: every year.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Ooh, this year has been so much fun with press
- 6:15Speaker 1: Play and Bonus Round. Press Play has been an absolute joy.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Yeah. I have loved being the basically exclusive first listener
- 6:24Speaker 2: of press Play every month and getting to edit Drew
- 6:27Speaker 2: and Jason's conversations about video game movies. I've loved hearing
- 6:33Speaker 2: their takes, even if sometimes it has me screaming into
- 6:38Speaker 2: my microphone which is turned off at the time that
- 6:40Speaker 2: I am editing, because they've given so much praise to
- 6:45Speaker 2: so many bad movies, but in only a way that
- 6:48Speaker 2: they can, and by the end of the episode they
- 6:51Speaker 2: kind of have me convinced.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Oh, their joy is infectious. It really is, and it's
- 6:56Speaker 1: truly incredible. I also love doing Bonus Round games that
- 7:01Speaker 1: Aaron comes up with forts to play.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Bonus Round has been an absolute blast games Master to
- 7:06Speaker 2: games Master, It's been really fun to have a fellow
- 7:12Speaker 2: game show creator test us every month and pit us
- 7:16Speaker 2: against each other in friendly competition as a couple. Yes,
- 7:20Speaker 2: where the scores as of right now are five to five,
- 7:24Speaker 2: so it's like it's all tied up and genuinely cards
- 7:27Speaker 2: on the table right now. We have played these games straight,
- 7:30Speaker 2: we have played these games as intended. We've not gimmicked
- 7:35Speaker 2: any of the results of these exactly correct.
- 7:40Speaker 1: I have tried my hardest every single time, so my
- 7:44Speaker 1: embarrassing losses are genuinely.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Embarrassing, and my heroic quins are genuinely heroic.
- 7:51Speaker 1: And it has been so fun, especially seeing you play,
- 7:54Speaker 1: because I play every episode.
- 7:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I have a jolly good time.
- 7:58Speaker 1: I play all the time, but I don't normally get
- 8:00Speaker 1: to see you play games, and I never get to
- 8:03Speaker 1: fight you in the arena of game except for the
- 8:07Speaker 1: ten that we have done thus.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Far, and that has been a blast. It's been so
- 8:13Speaker 2: much fun throughout twenty twenty five and throughout these last
- 8:16Speaker 2: couple months of twenty twenty five making these extra shows
- 8:20Speaker 2: on the gate Leapers podcast feed. However, the decision we
- 8:24Speaker 2: are making is it's been a lot of work at
- 8:28Speaker 2: a time where there are currently other exciting opportunities in
- 8:33Speaker 2: our life. We're getting to do so many cool creative
- 8:37Speaker 2: things that through doing a podcast every two weeks, getting
- 8:42Speaker 2: reps in our comedy skills, in our hosting skills, in
- 8:46Speaker 2: our writing skills, in our organizational skills, it's all kind
- 8:51Speaker 2: of paying dividends. So it's like, Okay, it's awesome. I
- 8:57Speaker 2: want to keep doing this because of how much joy
- 8:59Speaker 2: it brings us and others and how much it fuels
- 9:03Speaker 2: us to be able to do other things in our life.
- 9:06Speaker 2: But right now, as of twenty twenty five going into
- 9:09Speaker 2: twenty twenty six. I'm not ready to be the head
- 9:12Speaker 2: of a podcast network. I like that we have our
- 9:15Speaker 2: little podcast production company. It's awesome that we've been able
- 9:19Speaker 2: to support the launch of Team Up the Superhero TTRPG
- 9:23Speaker 2: and to make the podcast for our local theater and
- 9:26Speaker 2: be able to get some of their shows like Tune
- 9:28Speaker 2: Titans and Laughter and Legends out there. And hopefully in
- 9:31Speaker 2: the future we'll be able to do that with more
- 9:34Speaker 2: people's shows, more people's ideas of how to kind of
- 9:38Speaker 2: break through what podcasting has become and kind of return
- 9:44Speaker 2: some of that fun that was on like dare I
- 9:48Speaker 2: say it? Radio and television and like dying mediums like that?
- 9:51Speaker 1: What where radio?
- 9:53Speaker 4: Right?
- 9:54Speaker 2: I know, right, remember that old thing?
- 9:56Speaker 4: Oh?
- 9:57Speaker 2: Yes, support your local MPR station, guys, seriously, especially entire
- 10:00Speaker 2: like these Yes, so we can break through the idea
- 10:03Speaker 2: that a podcast is like two right wing propagandists yelling
- 10:08Speaker 2: at each other about how their lives are so great
- 10:11Speaker 2: because they're so rich, like those what all the popular
- 10:14Speaker 2: podcasts are like, But.
- 10:15Speaker 1: They're inexplicably angry, and they're yelling at each other even
- 10:19Speaker 1: though they're saying the same thing. Yeah, they're saying the
- 10:21Speaker 1: same thing, but for some reason they're angry.
- 10:23Speaker 2: They're on the same side, but they're going red in
- 10:25Speaker 2: the face like a big tomato. Gosh, just squish them,
- 10:28Speaker 2: just squish them. So hopefully we get to keep making
- 10:31Speaker 2: cool projects with people. I mean, if you're listening to
- 10:34Speaker 2: this and you are a podcaster or a creative and
- 10:38Speaker 2: you've had the thought of I would love to just
- 10:40Speaker 2: get something started, like an idea for a regular program
- 10:45Speaker 2: or a show or something you want to share with
- 10:48Speaker 2: the world that's just a little bit different, then you
- 10:51Speaker 2: know where to find me. Gateleapers at gmail dot com,
- 10:55Speaker 2: our little lily Pad production studio always up in to
- 10:59Speaker 2: chat and help people get their shows started.
- 11:02Speaker 1: Absolutely. Something I'm really excited about in the next year
- 11:06Speaker 1: is all of the other things that we're working on,
- 11:10Speaker 1: really enhancing the fandemoniums that we're making. Yes, because all
- 11:14Speaker 1: of the things that we're getting reps in, we're really
- 11:17Speaker 1: pouring into some skills, things that can really help make
- 11:22Speaker 1: an even better show on the feed every other week
- 11:27Speaker 1: then we've previously been capable to make.
- 11:30Speaker 2: Yeah, there's something that feels even more like proper and legitimate,
- 11:35Speaker 2: just adding some live production into the mix and making
- 11:38Speaker 2: half of our episodes live shows. We're learning a ton,
- 11:42Speaker 2: we're hoping to improve them over time, get better quality
- 11:45Speaker 2: videos for you guys to watch on the Patreon, and
- 11:49Speaker 2: then that feeds back into our now very precious twelve
- 11:52Speaker 2: studio episodes that we'll be recording with the cast who
- 11:56Speaker 2: have supported us through these four years of of growth.
- 12:02Speaker 1: And that's one of the things that I'm so excited
- 12:04Speaker 1: about building these skills is I'm so often amazed when
- 12:08Speaker 1: we're recording with such hilarious and talented people, I'm like, God,
- 12:12Speaker 1: why do they want to hang out with the Yeah,
- 12:14Speaker 1: why do they want to do this for like two
- 12:17Speaker 1: hours of a recording? Why on Earth? And just raising
- 12:22Speaker 1: the level of our skills to match the people that
- 12:25Speaker 1: we've been so freaking fortunate to be surrounded by. Definitely,
- 12:31Speaker 1: it's such an exciting prospect for the next year.
- 12:33Speaker 2: Yeah, Yeah, we're really looking forward to it. Like, like
- 12:36Speaker 2: we said, it's our bread and butter, So we're really
- 12:39Speaker 2: looking forward to making more fandomoniums, revisiting some old fandoms
- 12:43Speaker 2: with our live episodes, some absolute big hitters, classics, and
- 12:48Speaker 2: maybe a couple of unexpected ones that work live because
- 12:53Speaker 2: of the year that it is. I'll leave it at that.
- 12:55Speaker 2: I'll leave it at that.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Ooo.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Yeah right, And we're going to continue to tap into
- 13:00Speaker 2: the beautiful imaginations of our cast and have them pick
- 13:05Speaker 2: topics for each of the studio episodes, so that all
- 13:08Speaker 2: of your favorite performers, all of your favorite creatives and
- 13:12Speaker 2: funny people who are on these lineups regularly get to
- 13:15Speaker 2: really champion their own episode, and then they can get
- 13:18Speaker 2: me to write a pandemonium on anything. Guys, it doesn't
- 13:22Speaker 2: matter how niche it is. Twenty twenty six, it's time
- 13:26Speaker 2: and I'm aware that means I need to learn about
- 13:28Speaker 2: text Murphy, whoever the fuck that is.
- 13:29Speaker 1: I was just gonna say, you know, Aaron's gonna make
- 13:31Speaker 1: you do text Murphy.
- 13:33Speaker 2: Yep, let's get more niche than that. Let's do it.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Yes. Another change you'll see in twenty twenty six is
- 13:42Speaker 1: that Jason has left the cast.
- 13:44Speaker 2: Yeah, Jason's going to be around, not as often as
- 13:47Speaker 2: he has been throughout these last four years. Obviously, anyone
- 13:52Speaker 2: who's been with this show since the beginning has known
- 13:54Speaker 2: what a crucial piece of this show Jason has been
- 13:58Speaker 2: in terms of getting this show off the ground. We
- 14:01Speaker 2: couldn't have done it without him. We felt like we
- 14:04Speaker 2: could get two guests on the regular, but we needed
- 14:07Speaker 2: kind of two regular players to make this work. And
- 14:12Speaker 2: without Jason's support and his laughter and his jokes and
- 14:16Speaker 2: his willingness to put those two hour records in every
- 14:19Speaker 2: two weeks.
- 14:20Speaker 1: Yeah, and just to be a goof with us, Yeah.
- 14:23Speaker 4: Like it.
- 14:24Speaker 2: We couldn't have got this show started without him. So
- 14:27Speaker 2: we wish him all the luck in the world with
- 14:30Speaker 2: everything in his future. And I'm not allowed to ask
- 14:33Speaker 2: him to be on a Pandemonium until at least August
- 14:37Speaker 2: of twenty twenty six, but you best believe in August
- 14:40Speaker 2: of twenty twenty six, I'm going to be shooting that
- 14:42Speaker 2: text and see if we can make an annual thing
- 14:45Speaker 2: of Jason returning for a record. I think that'd be fun.
- 14:48Speaker 1: That would be an absolute joy, an annual celebration.
- 14:52Speaker 2: Yeah. Look, the more event episodes we can make each year,
- 14:56Speaker 2: the less I have to think about pulling an episode
- 14:58Speaker 2: out of nowhere, more annual traditions we can create. Looking
- 15:02Speaker 2: forward to Reality TV twenty twenty five, everyone.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Incredible, me too, So a huge thank you to Jason
- 15:10Speaker 1: and also a huge thank you to the rest of
- 15:13Speaker 1: the cast and everyone who's listening to this right now.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Yeah, it's really awesome that you've come along with us
- 15:17Speaker 2: on this journey. This very silly idea that we can
- 15:21Speaker 2: sort of spread joy and laughter through just playing games together.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Whether you're on our cast or have appeared on an episode,
- 15:30Speaker 2: if you're a listener who's been with us for a while,
- 15:32Speaker 2: or if you're a new listener who's just joined us recently. Sincerely,
- 15:36Speaker 2: thank you so much. Like this is our favorite thing
- 15:41Speaker 2: to do in the world, and we get to do
- 15:43Speaker 2: it thanks to your support. So we're going to keep
- 15:46Speaker 2: doing it.
- 15:46Speaker 1: It's been an absolute joy and we're going to continue
- 15:50Speaker 1: that joy.
- 15:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that's Is that all the news at
- 15:57Speaker 2: least for now?
- 15:59Speaker 1: I think that's all the new. That's a lot of news.
- 16:01Speaker 2: It's a lot of news.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Do you want to get competitive instead? Do you want
- 16:04Speaker 1: to shift the news energy into competition?
- 16:07Speaker 2: Are you asking if I want to fight?
- 16:09Speaker 1: Let's fight? In Matt Versus anddre It says it again
- 16:14Speaker 1: in the jingle, I just like to fight. Watch out
- 16:18Speaker 1: for my villain Era, don't mess with the games Master
- 16:21Speaker 1: Captain power up.
- 16:23Speaker 2: I'm going to score all the.
- 16:25Speaker 1: Points passing knowledge was enough.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Hello, and welcome to your doom.
- 16:30Speaker 1: I just hope we have a lot of fun.
- 16:33Speaker 2: And ignore this sentence. If you're a goddamn loser, you're
- 16:36Speaker 2: going down. I want to fight.
- 16:42Speaker 1: Hello Aaron Randolph, Hi, Hi, goodness Hello.
- 16:48Speaker 4: I'm so excited to be here. Guys. We're getting into
- 16:51Speaker 4: like the not quite the penultimate game, but the antipenultimate game.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Yes, yes, that's that's correct.
- 17:00Speaker 4: I know words, it's it's all tied up. It's super exciting.
- 17:05Speaker 4: It is five to five, so we are definitely playing
- 17:07Speaker 4: two more games. But are we playing three?
- 17:12Speaker 2: That is the question.
- 17:13Speaker 4: That is the question. Whoever wins this one, if they
- 17:16Speaker 4: can win the second one, they will win the whole
- 17:19Speaker 4: series outright. But if not, we're going to game thirteen.
- 17:23Speaker 4: Oh it's crunch time sighting. I'm so excited. So given
- 17:28Speaker 4: that these could be the last two, I feel it
- 17:30Speaker 4: only appropriate to go with two of America's favorite games.
- 17:37Speaker 2: Okay, So, Wheel of Funny, Oh Moneyney.
- 17:46Speaker 4: Fortune is a copyrighted so it's money, Wheel of Money,
- 17:49Speaker 4: We of money, Wheel of Money.
- 17:51Speaker 2: We love money.
- 17:52Speaker 4: It's money, everybody's favorite game of word puzzles and spinning
- 17:58Speaker 4: a giant wheel and hopefully not landing on bankrupt and
- 18:01Speaker 4: losing everything. But we shall see. The good thing is
- 18:07Speaker 4: Wheel of Fortune is great for a podcast because we
- 18:10Speaker 4: can skip the buzzing in stuff. So you guys are
- 18:12Speaker 4: just gonna take turns until one of your runs into
- 18:15Speaker 4: bankrupt or lose a turn or whatever. Oh nice, And
- 18:18Speaker 4: we're gonna play four puzzles and each of you will
- 18:21Speaker 4: get to start in control of two each. Yeah, so
- 18:25Speaker 4: to keep this as fair as possible. But Matt, because
- 18:28Speaker 4: you did lose the last game, I am going to
- 18:30Speaker 4: let you go first.
- 18:31Speaker 2: Oh, thank you so much.
- 18:33Speaker 4: All right, so yeah, no, Wheel Fortune has always been
- 18:37Speaker 4: a favorite of mine, and let's just jump right into it,
- 18:40Speaker 4: shall we.
- 18:41Speaker 2: Yeah, let's do it. I have always been a favorite
- 18:43Speaker 2: of mine too. Let's spin that wheel, all right.
- 18:45Speaker 4: Our first Our first puzzle is under the category of quote.
- 18:49Speaker 4: And here's the board. Matt, you start us off. There's
- 18:53Speaker 4: not much to do. You can spin or solve.
- 18:56Speaker 2: I would like to spin please.
- 18:58Speaker 4: Okay, yours is the red light flag, so we're gonna
- 19:00Speaker 4: watch that one. Okay, you've landed on five point fifty. Okay,
- 19:05Speaker 4: pick a letter. I would like s for sugar please.
- 19:09Speaker 4: S one two three brings you to sixteen fifty. Would
- 19:15Speaker 4: you like to buy spin or solve?
- 19:17Speaker 2: I would like to spin please?
- 19:19Speaker 4: Here we go and Matt lands on, oh very Oh
- 19:25Speaker 4: that is on. That is just on free play. Okay,
- 19:29Speaker 4: so uh, this is absolutely free. You can pick any
- 19:32Speaker 4: letter and if it's not in the puzzle, you get
- 19:34Speaker 4: to keep your turn.
- 19:36Speaker 2: Oh excellent, strategically, I guess I don't know why I should go.
- 19:38Speaker 2: I'm gonna go with g G.
- 19:41Speaker 4: Let's see no G. But because you were on free play,
- 19:44Speaker 4: it doesn't hurt. Okay, nice. Would you like to spin again?
- 19:47Speaker 4: I would like to buy?
- 19:49Speaker 2: Yes please?
- 19:49Speaker 4: Okay, spinning again? Here we go. Matt lands on, all
- 19:55Speaker 4: that is just barely unloser turn. I'm sorry, but you
- 20:00Speaker 4: keep the sixteen fifty you have so far.
- 20:02Speaker 2: Okay, we're gonna move over.
- 20:04Speaker 4: To Odra Audre. It is your turn. What would you
- 20:07Speaker 4: like to do?
- 20:08Speaker 1: I'm going to spin that wheel.
- 20:10Speaker 4: All right now we're watching the middle one and Odra
- 20:14Speaker 4: lands on seven hundred. Let's go for r R one
- 20:19Speaker 4: two three brings you to twenty one hundred.
- 20:23Speaker 1: Let's go, let's spin the wheel again?
- 20:27Speaker 4: All right, and Odre lands on five point.
- 20:30Speaker 1: Fifty's go for This is so fun. All my dreams
- 20:35Speaker 1: are coming true, and I don't cut up.
- 20:39Speaker 4: Let's go for T T one two brings you to
- 20:45Speaker 4: thirty two hundred. Buy spin or solve?
- 20:48Speaker 1: You know, I do kind of want to know a
- 20:52Speaker 1: little bit more context, so I might buy an E.
- 20:56Speaker 4: All right, we're buying an E cost you two fifty
- 20:58Speaker 4: one two three three e's.
- 21:02Speaker 2: And that was two fifty for all three. Yes, what
- 21:05Speaker 2: a boggain.
- 21:06Speaker 1: That's an incredible price. I've been paying five hundred apiece
- 21:10Speaker 1: for ease when I go.
- 21:11Speaker 3: To the.
- 21:13Speaker 4: Yeah, that's too much.
- 21:15Speaker 1: This is tough. I'd probably spin the wheel again.
- 21:19Speaker 4: All right, under spins and she gets oh, five hundred.
- 21:25Speaker 1: Let's go see. I want to know if there's a
- 21:28Speaker 1: c up here.
- 21:30Speaker 4: There's one.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Oh, we'll spin again then, because I don't know.
- 21:36Speaker 4: What one more spin under lands on seven hundred, very close,
- 21:42Speaker 4: very close to that loser turn. But what would you like?
- 21:46Speaker 2: Let's go for F one f Okay.
- 21:51Speaker 1: I wanted to see if that was the word that
- 21:54Speaker 1: I think it is, or one of the two words
- 21:56Speaker 1: that I think it might be, because I also remembered
- 21:59Speaker 1: the letter.
- 22:01Speaker 4: Okay, do you want to buy an eye, you.
- 22:04Speaker 1: Know, let's buy an eye just to see if it's
- 22:07Speaker 1: an I or a.
- 22:08Speaker 4: O one two three, But not in that word. So
- 22:15Speaker 4: what is going to be of buy spin or salt?
- 22:18Speaker 2: I'm gonna solve Okay.
- 22:20Speaker 4: What is it?
- 22:22Speaker 1: I have a very particular set of skills.
- 22:26Speaker 4: Absolutely right, well done, nicely done, well done. Adra, you've
- 22:31Speaker 4: banked thirty nine hundred. Uh that that score is yours keep,
- 22:35Speaker 4: cannot be taken from you next rounds and whatnot. You
- 22:39Speaker 4: also may have noted the presence of our third person there, Ali,
- 22:42Speaker 4: the automated lack of intelligence. If Ali ever gets a
- 22:45Speaker 4: turn and spins the wheel and doesn't wind up on
- 22:48Speaker 4: bankrupt or lose a turn, Ali will remove a wrong
- 22:51Speaker 4: letter from the possibilities. Oh but as it is, we're
- 22:55Speaker 4: gonna move on to puzzle number two. And since Matt
- 22:58Speaker 4: started the last one in charge, Oudra, you're gonna start
- 23:01Speaker 4: this time. And the category is title, and there are
- 23:06Speaker 4: your letters. Would you like to spin or solve?
- 23:09Speaker 2: Audrah, solve it?
- 23:13Speaker 1: I'm gonna say, imagine if I said I would solve
- 23:15Speaker 1: it and I got it, that would be insane. Let's
- 23:18Speaker 1: spin the wheel. Let's spin.
- 23:20Speaker 4: I should also add that this is the second round,
- 23:22Speaker 4: so we have a new wheel layout. Uh, there's a
- 23:25Speaker 4: thirty five hundred dollars space on the wheel, and there
- 23:28Speaker 4: are the two mystery wedges. Oh so if you land
- 23:33Speaker 4: on one of those, it's worth one thousand dollars per letter.
- 23:36Speaker 4: But you can choose afterwards to flip that wedge and
- 23:39Speaker 4: if it says ten thousand under, that's what you get.
- 23:42Speaker 4: But the other one has bankrupt. So bear that in
- 23:45Speaker 4: mind as Audra spins this wheel, and Audra gets a
- 23:50Speaker 4: free play.
- 23:51Speaker 2: Oh, free play, no harm, no foul.
- 23:55Speaker 1: Let's start like last time with an s just to
- 23:58Speaker 1: see what happens.
- 24:00Speaker 4: No ask, So thank heavens, that was a free play.
- 24:04Speaker 4: Would you like to spin again?
- 24:05Speaker 1: Huh? I would love to.
- 24:07Speaker 4: All right, Utter spins again, and this time she gets
- 24:12Speaker 4: ooh nine hundred, just dodging a bankrupt Yes.
- 24:16Speaker 1: Every time I see them spin around, it does make
- 24:19Speaker 1: me nervous. It's good to feel like I'm on the show.
- 24:24Speaker 1: Let's go for.
- 24:27Speaker 4: M M no M, I'm afraid. Okay. Control passes to Ali,
- 24:33Speaker 4: who is going to spin the wheel. Ali winds up
- 24:36Speaker 4: on five hundred, but it doesn't matter. Alie is going
- 24:40Speaker 4: to remove a y no, why in this puzzle?
- 24:44Speaker 2: Thank you, Ali.
- 24:45Speaker 4: We now move over to Matt.
- 24:47Speaker 2: I would like to spin.
- 24:49Speaker 4: Of course you would see what Matt lands on. Matt
- 24:51Speaker 4: spins and he gets.
- 24:53Speaker 1: All okay, geez free play, immediately lands on bankrupt.
- 25:00Speaker 2: I was on bankrupt. I was the boring Uldras.
- 25:03Speaker 4: You're looking at Audre's No, you gotta look at yours, sir, Damn.
- 25:06Speaker 4: I was looking at mine too, Odre, it's back to you.
- 25:11Speaker 1: Let's go for tea.
- 25:13Speaker 4: You have to spin the wheel.
- 25:14Speaker 1: Oh yes, I would love to spend. I'm just so
- 25:17Speaker 1: excited to be here.
- 25:20Speaker 4: Audre lands all thirty five, big big pick here, Audre,
- 25:26Speaker 4: what do you want to go for?
- 25:28Speaker 1: I'm gonna stick with tea, No tea, I'm afraid sorry.
- 25:34Speaker 4: Alie's gonna spin the wheel. We're watching the blue one now, guys, Yes,
- 25:40Speaker 4: Allie landsa eight hundred. Not that it matters, because Alie
- 25:45Speaker 4: is going to take an incorrect letter off the board,
- 25:47Speaker 4: and this time it's going to be ab So I'm
- 25:50Speaker 4: back to Mac.
- 25:52Speaker 2: Spin the wheel, please, Aaron.
- 25:53Speaker 4: Now watch the red one.
- 25:55Speaker 2: Ye, yes, Matt, it's a double.
- 26:01Speaker 4: Background, unbelievable. Back to Odra.
- 26:06Speaker 1: Let's spin that wheel all right.
- 26:09Speaker 4: Odre spins and she gets nine hundred. Let's go for
- 26:16Speaker 4: n N we have one, we have two, brings you
- 26:21Speaker 4: up to eighteen hundred. Buy spin or solve.
- 26:26Speaker 1: Let's spin again?
- 26:27Speaker 4: Okay, Odra spins and this time she gets five fifty.
- 26:33Speaker 1: Maybe let's go for h.
- 26:37Speaker 4: H one h buy spin or salt please?
- 26:42Speaker 1: Maybe let's buy an E again, just to say, by an.
- 26:46Speaker 4: E for two fifty and she gets one E.
- 26:50Speaker 1: Funny, I am not. I wonder if it's a similar
- 26:54Speaker 1: situation of when you're not the one playing. You know
- 26:58Speaker 1: what it is?
- 26:58Speaker 4: Sooner, well, buyers spin, those are your choices.
- 27:01Speaker 1: So let's spin, all right.
- 27:03Speaker 4: Utter spins and Udra lands on. Oh so you hang
- 27:10Speaker 4: on to your twenty one hundred. But control is going
- 27:13Speaker 4: to pass over to Ali, and Ali's gonna spin the wheel.
- 27:16Speaker 4: And if Alley doesn't land on bankrupt or lose a turn?
- 27:19Speaker 4: Oh wow close, good for you, Alie. It gets thirty
- 27:22Speaker 4: five hundred, but it doesn't matter because Allie's going to
- 27:25Speaker 4: remove a V no B in this puzzle back.
- 27:30Speaker 2: To men almost less than useless. But that's fine. Ally
- 27:34Speaker 2: spin please Aaron, yep, watch the red one? Yeah, waiting bankrupt?
- 27:39Speaker 4: And this time, he gets five hundred.
- 27:41Speaker 2: Okay, I'm gonna say ah.
- 27:44Speaker 4: An R one two, I am going to one thousand
- 27:50Speaker 4: dollars by spin er salt spin. Matt spins and he
- 27:53Speaker 4: gets six fifty, very close to another bankrupt Matt, you
- 28:00Speaker 4: are you are dancing with the double? What letter do
- 28:03Speaker 4: you want?
- 28:04Speaker 2: I'm gonna go with A G A G.
- 28:10Speaker 4: No, g over to Odra.
- 28:13Speaker 1: Let's spin that wheel, all right?
- 28:18Speaker 4: Odra spins and she lands on. Oh, it's the mystery.
- 28:23Speaker 2: Wedge wedge, wedge, wedge, wedge.
- 28:27Speaker 4: One thousand for each letter you reveal here, What letter
- 28:31Speaker 4: do you want to pick?
- 28:32Speaker 1: I'm going to go for W to confirm you what
- 28:37Speaker 1: maybe that second word might be.
- 28:39Speaker 4: There is one W. It's worth one thousand dollars, or
- 28:44Speaker 4: you can give that thousand dollars back to flip over
- 28:47Speaker 4: that wedge.
- 28:48Speaker 2: Flip that wedge, flip.
- 28:50Speaker 1: That you're just saying that because I could go bankrupt.
- 28:53Speaker 2: I'm saying it because I like to chant. Flip that wedge.
- 29:00Speaker 4: What do you say?
- 29:01Speaker 1: Oh gosh, I am so torn between what I would
- 29:07Speaker 1: do as a game player and what is more entertaining
- 29:10Speaker 1: for a podcast.
- 29:13Speaker 2: The podcasts dilemma.
- 29:15Speaker 1: Oh gosh, it's up to you. I'm gonna have to
- 29:18Speaker 1: I have to flip the wedge. And I know that
- 29:20Speaker 1: it's a terrible idea because I could go bankrupt, but
- 29:24Speaker 1: I have to do it. And if if it's a
- 29:27Speaker 1: bankrupt it was all for the listeners.
- 29:29Speaker 2: Slip that wedge.
- 29:32Speaker 4: It doesn't show on the screen unfortunately, but Audra, oh,
- 29:39Speaker 4: I'm so sorry, so sorry. No, they are now just
- 29:43Speaker 4: thousand dollar wedges. You cannot claim the ten thousand by
- 29:45Speaker 4: landing on the other one. It's Ali's turning to spin.
- 29:48Speaker 4: Ali gets eight hundred. Doesn't matter. Ali's gonna pull an
- 29:53Speaker 4: incorrect lauder off the board and off goes the J
- 29:57Speaker 4: no j in this over to Matt with a thousand.
- 30:00Speaker 4: What do you want to do?
- 30:01Speaker 2: Matt, let's spin.
- 30:02Speaker 4: Matt spins and he gets, oh again, very close to
- 30:07Speaker 4: a bankrupt? Gets six to fifty a D A D
- 30:12Speaker 4: one d okay, sixteen fifty by spinnersul.
- 30:16Speaker 2: I feel like I should know it. I am going
- 30:20Speaker 2: to have to spin because I can't solve all right.
- 30:23Speaker 4: Matt spins and he gets who again, very close to
- 30:27Speaker 4: a bankrupt? Get nine hundred? What letter would you like
- 30:31Speaker 4: to pick? Not very many left?
- 30:35Speaker 2: Really aren't many left, and I'm so I'm going to
- 30:38Speaker 2: say f god.
- 30:41Speaker 4: Odro and you have no money, so you can't buy
- 30:44Speaker 4: a vowel. You have to spin.
- 30:45Speaker 1: Well that's a great thing, because unless you're going to solve,
- 30:48Speaker 1: I'm not going to solve. So I'm all right, I
- 30:51Speaker 1: love to spin the wheel.
- 30:53Speaker 4: Let's spin the wheel. Dra spins the wheel and she
- 30:56Speaker 4: gets Oh no, okay, that's that's that's two bankrupts for each.
- 31:02Speaker 2: Time of bankruptcies.
- 31:04Speaker 1: Well then it was a good thing that I risked
- 31:06Speaker 1: it because I was going to get a bankrupt the
- 31:08Speaker 1: next time.
- 31:08Speaker 4: Anyway, Allie lands on the big money again means nothing again,
- 31:13Speaker 4: not that it matters. It just moves the wheel around
- 31:16Speaker 4: and Allie takes an X.
- 31:17Speaker 2: Of course there is no X.
- 31:19Speaker 4: Matt. We're back over to you. There are literally six consonants.
- 31:24Speaker 4: Would you like to spin or solve or buy awl?
- 31:26Speaker 2: Buy a vowel because I think if it helps me out,
- 31:29Speaker 2: I would like to buy an O.
- 31:30Speaker 4: And oh one, two, three, hmmm. I think Audrom might
- 31:37Speaker 4: know it. Yeah, Matt, would you like to buy another vowel?
- 31:40Speaker 4: Or spin the wheel or solve?
- 31:43Speaker 2: I don't think picking another consonant is going to help me.
- 31:46Speaker 2: So I'm gonna say I'm going to buy a vowel
- 31:48Speaker 2: to buy myself more time.
- 31:51Speaker 4: All right, which one would you like?
- 31:53Speaker 2: I would like to buy an a just the one, okay,
- 31:57Speaker 2: I would like to solve. All right, it's Horizon in
- 32:00Speaker 2: zero dawn. Yes, it is damn.
- 32:04Speaker 4: Well, very well done, Matt, but you do only have
- 32:07Speaker 4: eleven to fifty, which means you're still in second place. Yes,
- 32:10Speaker 4: but that's okay. We're gonna move on to our third puzzle,
- 32:17Speaker 4: and this puzzle is the category of the nineties. Okay, Matt,
- 32:22Speaker 4: you stay in you stay in control. You start in
- 32:24Speaker 4: control of this one because Audra started in control of
- 32:26Speaker 4: the last one. We're changing the wheel yet again. This
- 32:30Speaker 4: time there is now the express one thousand spot. If
- 32:33Speaker 4: you land on it and correctly name a letter, you
- 32:35Speaker 4: can keep naming letters as long as you're correct and
- 32:38Speaker 4: gain one thousand for each consonant. However, if you get
- 32:42Speaker 4: any wrong at any point before you finish the puzzle,
- 32:44Speaker 4: you lose all the money you've accumulated to that point,
- 32:47Speaker 4: instantly go bankrupt. He'll be aware of that. But for now,
- 32:52Speaker 4: your choices are Spin are solved.
- 32:53Speaker 2: Let's saw spin.
- 32:56Speaker 4: All right, he saw spins and he says he loses
- 33:00Speaker 4: a turn of media. All of course, we changed to
- 33:04Speaker 4: Odra Oudre, what would you like to do? As if
- 33:07Speaker 4: I need to.
- 33:07Speaker 1: Guess, Let's spin.
- 33:09Speaker 4: Yes, Odra spins and she gets spin it right round,
- 33:14Speaker 4: Oh six hundred.
- 33:15Speaker 1: I'm gonna go for s.
- 33:17Speaker 4: S one two three four S's brings you to twenty
- 33:23Speaker 4: four hundred. What would you like to do? Buy spin
- 33:27Speaker 4: or solve?
- 33:28Speaker 1: Let's buy an e I am so with money?
- 33:34Speaker 4: Okay, you are so with money. Let's show off how
- 33:39Speaker 4: many ease you got? You got two?
- 33:41Speaker 1: Okay, let's maybe spin the wheel again.
- 33:46Speaker 4: Okay. Odra spins and she gets five hundred.
- 33:50Speaker 1: Considering an h h one h one, you're at twenty
- 33:57Speaker 1: six fifty.
- 33:57Speaker 4: Buy spin er.
- 33:58Speaker 1: Salt, Let's spin it again.
- 34:01Speaker 4: Odra spins and Odre gets oooh free play free anything
- 34:07Speaker 4: you want. Mauld be an n an N two ends
- 34:12Speaker 4: no money, Let's.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Spin because I was hoping that would be a little
- 34:16Speaker 1: bit more illuminating.
- 34:18Speaker 4: All right, Odre spins again and lands on oh loser
- 34:22Speaker 4: turn No. We go to Allie. Alie's going to spin
- 34:26Speaker 4: the wheel yet again, lands on nine hundred. Not that
- 34:29Speaker 4: it matters because Ali is going to remove ab no
- 34:34Speaker 4: B in this spuzzle. Back to Matt spin please, Aaron
- 34:39Speaker 4: and Matt lands on ooh nine hundred just missed the
- 34:42Speaker 4: express one thousand. I would like a tee please for
- 34:47Speaker 4: Tiger one two three t's you're up to twenty seven hundred,
- 34:52Speaker 4: buy spin or solve.
- 34:54Speaker 2: Oh. I would like to buy an an a.
- 35:00Speaker 4: An A one two three.
- 35:05Speaker 2: And it's this is from all of the nineties, Audre.
- 35:07Speaker 4: I want to play poker with you.
- 35:11Speaker 1: See the thing is, the thing is I don't actually
- 35:15Speaker 1: know it, so.
- 35:18Speaker 4: You're gasping would actually throw me off, so that's.
- 35:20Speaker 1: Actually good for you. I'm an unreliable narrator of my experience,
- 35:25Speaker 1: so I think I'd be a very confusing poker player.
- 35:30Speaker 4: Matt by Spinder Salt, please.
- 35:33Speaker 2: I'm going to risk it because I think I might
- 35:36Speaker 2: need to build up some I'm gonna spin.
- 35:38Speaker 4: I'm gonna spin, all right, that spins and he gets.
- 35:44Speaker 2: That's good. I'm l please l just the one, just
- 35:48Speaker 2: the one fifty by Spinner Salt. I would like to
- 35:54Speaker 2: buy an I an I.
- 35:59Speaker 4: There are two.
- 36:01Speaker 2: Really wanted someit from those lower words that really wanted something.
- 36:05Speaker 2: I would like to.
- 36:10Speaker 4: Spin Matt spins and Matt gets six fifty.
- 36:15Speaker 2: Okay, well, let's let's hope it gives me something down below,
- 36:21Speaker 2: not like a good or bad. I should stop talking
- 36:24Speaker 2: about my down below. Let's go for an R, please.
- 36:29Speaker 4: An R one R? What? What?
- 36:32Speaker 2: What are these words?
- 36:34Speaker 4: I'm thirty six fifty buy spinner? Salt?
- 36:37Speaker 2: Can I buy an?
- 36:38Speaker 4: Oh? You can? One? Two, three four?
- 36:42Speaker 1: Okay, now now we're getting somewhere with the o's.
- 36:46Speaker 2: What the heck is that penultimate word? Also, I feel
- 36:51Speaker 2: like I have to keep control even though I don't
- 36:54Speaker 2: know what give me something? This is saying. So let's
- 36:57Speaker 2: spin spin Matt spins.
- 36:59Speaker 4: Does keep control? Yes, well, thirty five hundred on the wheel, Matt.
- 37:06Speaker 2: So I'm gonna say, m all right.
- 37:09Speaker 4: I think wisely, Uh, it puts thirty five hundred in
- 37:12Speaker 4: your bank but does not fill in anything.
- 37:14Speaker 2: So you know it's Morris sets I spinner salve Matt.
- 37:21Speaker 2: I'm gonna have to spin Matt spins and Matt gets
- 37:26Speaker 2: seven hundred, and I'm gonna have to say, oh, that
- 37:29Speaker 2: gas is sorry, I'm gonna have I'm gonna have to
- 37:32Speaker 2: say f f ah madre it's over to you.
- 37:39Speaker 4: Would you like to buy Spiner Solve.

- 37:45Speaker 1: did give me away.
- 37:46Speaker 4: Uh huh, buy spinner Salt.
- 37:49Speaker 1: I'm just going to solve it because I don't want
- 37:52Speaker 1: to risk all right, what is it? The spin? Alanis morissets?
- 37:57Speaker 1: You ought to know? Oh?
