- 0:00Speaker 1: Scrubbing In with Tilly and Tanya, Red and iHeartRadio and
- 0:04Speaker 1: two times People's Choice Award winning podcast. Hello everyone, we
- 0:14Speaker 1: are scrubbing in.
- 0:18Speaker 2: That's right.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Happy fourth of July.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Happy fourth of July.
- 0:22Speaker 1: And you do your best for Coolidge makes you want
- 0:25Speaker 1: a hot dog? Real bad? What's that from? Legally real bad? Anyways?
- 0:35Speaker 1: Great work, great shirt for the episode.
- 0:41Speaker 3: Red white not blue? Red and white? Yes, yes, red?
- 0:48Speaker 2: Wha?
- 0:50Speaker 1: What?
- 0:51Speaker 2: Whoa? I like when people use their jeans to be
- 0:55Speaker 2: the blue.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Because they're blue jeans.
- 0:57Speaker 2: I know, yeah, nice, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:01Speaker 1: What what are your so what I've noticed and currently
- 1:06Speaker 1: we're abroad. You're hearing us, but we're abroad. I don't
- 1:12Speaker 1: know what.
- 1:13Speaker 3: Oh, no, I'm stateside. Maybe I'm in the studio.
- 1:18Speaker 1: I've noticed that for the past few years on fourth
- 1:21Speaker 1: of July we're always out of the country and it's
- 1:25Speaker 1: not but I do think sometimes it's cheaper to fly,
- 1:28Speaker 1: maybe because people want to be here obviously for the
- 1:31Speaker 1: Fourth of July. But we just be going on trips.
- 1:34Speaker 1: It's always our vacation time. Yeah, at least vacation time.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:38Speaker 4: We always plan are It's so funny because we plan
- 1:41Speaker 4: our honeymoon based on my radio schedule, which is so crazy.
- 1:47Speaker 4: But we did, and so we are.
- 1:51Speaker 2: We are abroad as well.
- 1:52Speaker 4: And you don't celebrate. You just kind of it's just
- 1:55Speaker 4: like a it's just a day.
- 1:56Speaker 1: I mean, if I'm able to find a hot dog,
- 1:59Speaker 1: I'm going to find a hot dog, but I'll send
- 2:01Speaker 1: my expectations low. You don't find a hot dog like
- 2:07Speaker 1: us ave in Sapain, you know, I'm saying no.
- 2:10Speaker 4: But maybe you could find like a sausage, a Polish
- 2:13Speaker 4: sausage or something.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Yeah, oh look, I'll look around see what I can find.
- 2:17Speaker 2: I could do a burger. I love a burger.
- 2:19Speaker 1: I just love the food that celebrates some more July.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Like that if I were to go to a pool
- 2:25Speaker 1: party and there was just like hey, I love a
- 2:28Speaker 1: grillau like Hamburg's corn or on.
- 2:30Speaker 5: The cor.
- 2:34Speaker 1: She's going But yeah, I just uh, maybe I'll get
- 2:43Speaker 1: like a little sweater with like a I don't know something.
- 2:48Speaker 1: I'm gonna say a Murkan flag, but those are those
- 2:50Speaker 1: might be sold out everywhere. Someone said they went to
- 2:54Speaker 1: like Nantucket or the like on the East coast and
- 2:57Speaker 1: they said Martha's Vineyard, like everyone had the same water
- 3:00Speaker 1: with like an American like a Christian. Well no, just
- 3:03Speaker 1: like you know, the East Coast has that preppy and
- 3:07Speaker 1: all American. Yeah, all that style like where they have
- 3:11Speaker 1: like loafer like boat shoes and.
- 3:13Speaker 4: Like boat like but like like like yacht sea.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Yeah, but a lot of American flog sweaters and they
- 3:19Speaker 1: were like when you think you're unique with your American
- 3:22Speaker 1: flog swater and it's like videos of all the girls
- 3:24Speaker 1: with their sweaters. So anyways, it's a little bit about me.
- 3:28Speaker 4: Yeah, I I love the Fourth of July.
- 3:33Speaker 2: In terms of.
- 3:35Speaker 4: The food as well, I don't really eat hot dogs.
- 3:40Speaker 4: I try not to eat hot dogs, although do you
- 3:42Speaker 4: know what I do love hot dog chopped into scrambled eggs.
- 3:48Speaker 1: No, what's the difference of doing that with just like
- 3:51Speaker 1: eating a hot dog?
- 3:52Speaker 2: Though so different?
- 3:53Speaker 3: No, bun at eggs, at eggs.
- 3:56Speaker 2: It is delicious.
- 3:58Speaker 1: You don't like a bun?
- 4:00Speaker 2: Who eats a bun? This gluten free gal?
- 4:04Speaker 1: Well, what about gluten free bun?
- 4:06Speaker 4: You know the problem with the gluten free breads in
- 4:08Speaker 4: the United States is that there isn't a good one,
- 4:12Speaker 4: Like there's I've had. I would say like few and
- 4:16Speaker 4: far between a yummy gluten free bread. So It's like,
- 4:19Speaker 4: to me, it's not even worth getting the gluten free
- 4:21Speaker 4: bun if it's gonna not taste good.
- 4:23Speaker 2: Do you know what I mean?
- 4:25Speaker 1: I just like the texture of bread, so I feel
- 4:27Speaker 1: like I would be like happy to have a gluten
- 4:29Speaker 1: free even if it's a little less than a regular bun.
- 4:33Speaker 1: I just would prefer that over like a lettuce wrapped
- 4:35Speaker 1: hot dog.
- 4:36Speaker 4: Yeah, let us wrapped hot dog doesn't really hit like
- 4:38Speaker 4: a lettuce wrapped burger.
- 4:39Speaker 1: I do like a lettuce trap burger. But I still,
- 4:41Speaker 1: if I had a choice, I'm trying to get the butt. Yeah.
- 4:44Speaker 4: I actually when I was in Paris for the can
- 4:48Speaker 4: Lions Festival, I walked myself to a lunch spot and
- 4:54Speaker 4: I ordered myself a They don't do lettuce wrapped burgers,
- 4:57Speaker 4: so just that is digestible. I got and like the
- 5:01Speaker 4: most amazing French fries.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Nothing better, nothing over there your stomach.
- 5:07Speaker 6: That's how Sabrina Carpenter wrote Espresso. She was in Paris
- 5:11Speaker 6: and she wandered over to a cafe and she didn't
- 5:12Speaker 6: get a burger, but she had an espresso, and that's
- 5:14Speaker 6: how she wrote song.
- 5:15Speaker 2: You know what else I do when I'm in Europe?
- 5:18Speaker 2: I drink milk.
- 5:19Speaker 3: Wow, milk.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Yeah, and I'm fine.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Yeah, listen, there's something to it. People. Yeah, if you
- 5:28Speaker 1: have you all been to Europe where Alison can eat
- 5:31Speaker 1: the bread and stuff.
- 5:32Speaker 3: I am so poorly traveled. I have never crossed an ocean.
- 5:36Speaker 6: Alison has been to Europe, but a long time ago,
- 5:39Speaker 6: and not since she's been more aware of the gluten sensitivities.
- 5:43Speaker 6: So we're excited to do that sometime soon.
- 5:46Speaker 1: I'm so curious.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Has she tried that gluten free pasta that I told you?
- 5:49Speaker 3: Oh, she's tried it. Yes, Yes, that's a big hit.
- 5:53Speaker 6: Yeah in our house, happy fourth of July.
- 5:56Speaker 3: Europe is much better in every way.
- 5:58Speaker 6: That's what we're getting at here basically.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Anyways, No, I I love eating you know what I
- 6:11Speaker 1: had the other day? Speaking of Okay, have you ever
- 6:14Speaker 1: had cereal in the bath? Like eating cereal in the bath?
- 6:19Speaker 3: Okay, out of a bowl in bath? Yeah, No, I'm not.
- 6:24Speaker 1: Pouring it in the like had a bowl of cereal
- 6:27Speaker 1: in the bath. There's something about the milk is so
- 6:31Speaker 1: cold because the temperature of the water is hot. It
- 6:34Speaker 1: is like the best way to eat cereal. And no
- 6:37Speaker 1: one else has done this, so I was just wondering
- 6:39Speaker 1: if anything.
- 6:39Speaker 3: I just never crossed my mind. But I'll do it.
- 6:42Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I like a glass of wine in the tub.
- 6:47Speaker 4: I've been like on a drinking rampage, a bender, A bender, yes,
- 6:53Speaker 4: I may say a bender actually, but.
- 6:55Speaker 2: I'm not like getting drunk. I'm just drinking, drinking, drinking.
- 7:00Speaker 4: Ah yeah, yeah, okay, Well, so the honeymoon's my last
- 7:05Speaker 4: hurrah though oh we've heard.
- 7:06Speaker 3: Oh oh my goodness, wow, No.
- 7:09Speaker 2: It is though.
- 7:10Speaker 4: It is so because we're gonna start trying for a baby,
- 7:13Speaker 4: and I feel like you don't want to be like
- 7:15Speaker 4: drinking so much, and so that's it.
- 7:17Speaker 1: That's that's Will Robbie keep drinking.
- 7:20Speaker 4: I mean, I'm not like gonna say he probably won't
- 7:24Speaker 4: drink in solidarity. I feel like he's like, yeah, it's
- 7:29Speaker 4: not a conversation that we've had, but I feel like
- 7:31Speaker 4: when I had my hashimotos, he went gluten free to
- 7:34Speaker 4: do it with me, So I feel like he probably
- 7:36Speaker 4: will taper it back.
- 7:38Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 7:39Speaker 1: If you got to create your dream Fourth of July plate,
- 7:43Speaker 1: what's on it and what are you drinking with it?
- 7:47Speaker 1: Do you want a hamburger or hot dog or shrimp?
- 7:51Speaker 7: Shrimp?
- 7:52Speaker 2: And corn.
- 7:53Speaker 1: No, I'm reading the options here, so hot dog, hamburger
- 7:57Speaker 1: or shrimp shrimp? Okay, I'm going hot dog?
- 8:00Speaker 3: Can do you both hot dog and hamburger?
- 8:02Speaker 1: Is that I suppose?
- 8:03Speaker 3: Yeah? One of each? Thank God?
- 8:06Speaker 1: Do you want to add of hamburger to your shrimp? No? Okay,
- 8:10Speaker 1: must have toppings on. You're not having any toppings. I
- 8:14Speaker 1: do my shrimp.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Yeah, lemon sea salt. Okay, I go hot dog.
- 8:23Speaker 1: I'm doing uh, sauteed peppers. Wow, mustard catch up relish, Yeah,
- 8:33Speaker 1: that's it.
- 8:34Speaker 3: I love relish, mustard and onions. I love onions on there.
- 8:40Speaker 6: Burger burger, Oh, cheese, jalapeno, roastedlipenno. Oh that sounds good,
- 8:45Speaker 6: lettuce tomato.
- 8:47Speaker 1: What's a song you listen to when it's time for
- 8:49Speaker 1: the Fourth of July?
- 8:51Speaker 2: Miley Cyrus?
- 8:57Speaker 3: I like listening to the top Gun soundtrack. Uh, the
- 9:00Speaker 3: like just the theme.
- 9:02Speaker 6: I'd like listen to the instrumental Topkin Topkin Maverick, specifically
- 9:06Speaker 6: the one that blends the old theme with Lady Goga
- 9:08Speaker 6: hold my hand.
- 9:10Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a big one for me.
- 9:11Speaker 1: I just discovered a new remix of Ain't No Mountain
- 9:14Speaker 1: High Enough? So that.
- 9:17Speaker 7: What remix was remix like, just yes you can, because
- 9:21Speaker 7: I literally am like, this is the best mood booster,
- 9:24Speaker 7: and I'll share this so that y'all can also listen
- 9:27Speaker 7: to it because you're going to be so excited.
- 9:32Speaker 8: Wow, funky, Oh that's fun. Huh Wow, it's zigged when
- 9:46Speaker 8: I thought it was gonna zag That's awesome.
- 9:49Speaker 1: It does that the whole song. It's so fun. So
- 9:51Speaker 1: that's Haley Goes. I'm going to be hearing this the
- 9:53Speaker 1: whole time. We're gone.
- 9:54Speaker 2: Yes, wow, when you guys get back.
- 9:59Speaker 1: We back July eighth, Tuesday, a Tuesday random tooth is
- 10:06Speaker 1: so random. We don't really we just go. She had
- 10:10Speaker 1: time off, so we just were like pick a day,
- 10:13Speaker 1: gotta got it. Yeah, So that's a little bit about
- 10:16Speaker 1: us and what we're doing. I'm excited though, because here's
- 10:21Speaker 1: the thing. We're gonna come home and I think most
- 10:25Speaker 1: of our eighty projects can be basically complete, I think,
- 10:30Speaker 1: and so it'll be so fun. I told Haylee because
- 10:32Speaker 1: she was like, should we just extend and stay in
- 10:33Speaker 1: Europe since we're already gonna be all the way over there,
- 10:36Speaker 1: And I was like, we could, but I just spent
- 10:40Speaker 1: all this money on this aad, why don't we come
- 10:43Speaker 1: home and enjoy it? So that's why we're just coming
- 10:47Speaker 1: straight home. But she might try to convince me to
- 10:50Speaker 1: stay out there.
- 10:51Speaker 2: We'll see, so I don't think it's gonna take too
- 10:53Speaker 2: much convincing.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Yeah, well Phoebe, Yeah, I think about Phoebe.
- 10:58Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 11:14Speaker 1: I had a question, do you think you'll ever host
- 11:16Speaker 1: a Fourth of July party? Yeah? Maybe next year?
- 11:21Speaker 2: Yeah, why do you why?
- 11:22Speaker 1: It's like the idea of having a like a Fourth
- 11:24Speaker 1: of July party, but we're always gone to schedule.
- 11:29Speaker 2: I know, we you know, we love having house parties,
- 11:31Speaker 2: I know, I know.
- 11:32Speaker 4: Yeah, astars love about so yeah, I think and we
- 11:38Speaker 4: also like we've been wanting to like kind of claim
- 11:40Speaker 4: a holiday like we don't really have like our like
- 11:42Speaker 4: every New Year's we kind of toss it around, but
- 11:45Speaker 4: then we're like, there's so much expectation on New Year's
- 11:48Speaker 4: that we don't want to like take that on for
- 11:50Speaker 4: other people.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Yeah, I wouldn't recommend that one.
- 11:53Speaker 4: Yeah, so maybe fourth of July is the one we take.
- 11:58Speaker 1: You could take on the Helloween party?
- 12:02Speaker 2: Are you guys not doing it this year?
- 12:03Speaker 1: No, we are, But like Hayley's like, let's do the
- 12:05Speaker 1: Halloween party and the Christmas party. And I'm like, oh
- 12:08Speaker 1: my gosh. Yeah, it's a lot, but the people want
- 12:12Speaker 1: what they want. And last year the people were upset
- 12:15Speaker 1: that we didn't have a Halloween party, so I think
- 12:17Speaker 1: we have to bring it back.
- 12:18Speaker 4: And we had nothing to dress up for I know,
- 12:22Speaker 4: so I have to I have to provide a space
- 12:25Speaker 4: exactly for the people to dress up.
- 12:27Speaker 1: So yeah, but yeah, maybe fourth of July will be
- 12:30Speaker 1: the holiday for y'all.
- 12:31Speaker 4: Maybe, yeah, because we love We like it in the backyard,
- 12:35Speaker 4: like that's like our thing. And Robbie likes to grill.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just giving fourth of July. Yeah, what y'all
- 12:40Speaker 1: like to do? Yeah, horn shrimp, grill.
- 12:42Speaker 2: Vibes shrimp for all basketball the kiddos.
- 12:46Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 12:48Speaker 1: I sent Robbie this guy was doing this Papa shot
- 12:51Speaker 1: like the arcade basketball and it was the fastest I've
- 12:54Speaker 1: ever seen it, miss one. And I sent it to
- 12:56Speaker 1: robb and he's like no. I don't know if he
- 12:58Speaker 1: was like I could take him.
- 12:59Speaker 4: Or so I was like no way, you know, it's
- 13:02Speaker 4: actually so crazy.
- 13:05Speaker 2: While I was gone, so I didn't see Robbie four.
- 13:09Speaker 4: In total, eight days that's the longest we haven't been together,
- 13:15Speaker 4: and like I miss him so much, but seeing how
- 13:17Speaker 4: much he missed me was like the sweetest thing. Like
- 13:21Speaker 4: he was every day and we would FaceTime like he
- 13:25Speaker 4: like you know, like he just feels different, Like it
- 13:27Speaker 4: just felt different, Like I could sense that he was
- 13:29Speaker 4: like really missing me, and it was so sweet.
- 13:33Speaker 1: That's such a nice feeling.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Yeah, it was really a nice feeling. I've never been away.
- 13:38Speaker 4: From that, like ever, your relationship started not eight days?
- 13:42Speaker 4: Whoa never eight big?
- 13:44Speaker 1: Yeah, welcome.
- 13:50Speaker 4: I was fine because I was busy, and I was
- 13:51Speaker 4: like that's the key. Yeah, and he was fine too.
- 13:54Speaker 1: But like, yeah, but the key is being the busy one. Yes,
- 13:57Speaker 1: I'm never the busy one. Yes.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:01Speaker 4: If you were reversed and like he were on a
- 14:03Speaker 4: work trip our home break days, I would have been
- 14:05Speaker 4: like bruh.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Bruh uh. I went to Newport the other day to
- 14:10Speaker 1: see my sister, and then Haley went to summer with
- 14:14Speaker 1: her family and so we just were a part. Literally
- 14:16Speaker 1: I left at eleven am and got home at nine
- 14:19Speaker 1: pm and on the whole time. Last afterwards, She's like,
- 14:24Speaker 1: I just really missed you today and like, did you
- 14:27Speaker 1: miss me, and I was like, yeah, I just kept thinking,
- 14:29Speaker 1: like I wish Hailey was here, but like we talked
- 14:31Speaker 1: about it so much, and I was like, this is sick,
- 14:35Speaker 1: like we are. This is not good. I think, I
- 14:38Speaker 1: mean it's good. Yeah, you know.
- 14:40Speaker 4: I also didn't realize like how accustomed I've become to
- 14:43Speaker 4: him like handling all my luggage. Like I literally just
- 14:46Speaker 4: like walk out the door, and he like throws everything
- 14:48Speaker 4: in the car, you know what I mean, Like he's
- 14:49Speaker 4: handling the suitcases.
- 14:52Speaker 2: Yeah. I'm like my suitcase was so heavy too. I
- 14:55Speaker 2: was like I have to lug this thing around, pull
- 14:58Speaker 2: it out. Yeah yeah, yeah, she was heavy.
- 15:00Speaker 1: I'm like, oh yeah, no, I'd just be handling stuff
- 15:05Speaker 1: like that. See that.
- 15:09Speaker 2: Yeah, the gun show.
- 15:13Speaker 1: Well that's all for now, folks. We hope you have
- 15:15Speaker 1: a wonderful Fourth of July. Please stay safe and have fun. Yes,
- 15:22Speaker 1: eat all the yummy food and enjoy your time. Enjoy
- 15:28Speaker 1: it in the us of A.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Yeah, we love you so much. We love you.
- 15:31Speaker 5: Bye bye.
