- 0:09Speaker 1: Advice. He welcome to the Naughty but Nice Show. I'm
- 0:16Speaker 1: your host, Robe Shooter, and it's Thursday, which means our
- 0:19Speaker 1: dear friend Mark Lupo joins us. Hey, Lupie, are you there?
- 0:24Speaker 1: Libby lewis here? Hey lupy Lou. What's been going on
- 0:28Speaker 1: with you? We haven't spoken a while. What you've been
- 0:30Speaker 1: up to? Well? I am going on a trip to Europe.
- 0:33Speaker 1: I leave tonight. I'm going to what. Yeah, I'm going
- 0:35Speaker 1: to Prague. I'm going to crack out Poland, and I'm
- 0:38Speaker 1: going to Berlin, Germany. Oh my goodness, Mark, that's fantastic.
- 0:43Speaker 1: I had no idea. Prague is one of my favorite
- 0:46Speaker 1: cities in Europe. It's magnificent. That's right here. Here's super beautiful.
- 0:50Speaker 1: We're wash everywhere you turn, every corner. It's like a postcard.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Like I was like, where do the poor people live?
- 1:00Speaker 1: Almost so rich? It looks like everybody's so rich. But no,
- 1:03Speaker 1: that's how everybody lives in these little castles. It's just magical.
- 1:07Speaker 1: I will send me lots of pictures from the bridge.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Have you seen Mission Impossible one? Many years ago? It
- 1:13Speaker 1: was shot in Prague. Watch on the plane going over
- 1:16Speaker 1: and remind you all the locations. It was shot in Prague.
- 1:20Speaker 1: It's absolutely beautiful. Hey, let's jump into the show. What
- 1:22Speaker 1: time is it, my friend said his tea time. So
- 1:25Speaker 1: Jenna bush Hager, I forget that part of her name,
- 1:29Speaker 1: don't you. I just call her Jenna Bush. But it is,
- 1:31Speaker 1: in fact, Jenna bush Hager's speaking out on Holda's mysterious
- 1:36Speaker 1: disappearance from the show. So she addressed this really big
- 1:40Speaker 1: issue we're all talking about on yesterday's show, saying it
- 1:43Speaker 1: was a family health matter. Willie Geist is in for Hoder,
- 1:49Speaker 1: so he's been filling in for Hoda. Jenna said the
- 1:52Speaker 1: top of the show quote, she just has a family
- 1:54Speaker 1: matter that she's dealing with. Now. That's all they've really
- 1:58Speaker 1: told us, Mark, which I think makes people want even
- 2:02Speaker 1: more information, Like that's not a real big statement. Saying
- 2:06Speaker 1: somebody has a family health matter and no more details
- 2:10Speaker 1: certainly adds fuel to the fire. So everybody's speculating what's
- 2:14Speaker 1: going on with Hoda. My sources tell me one of
- 2:17Speaker 1: her daughters is not very well and it's not terribly
- 2:20Speaker 1: terribly serious. But I think the nanny's away or often
- 2:23Speaker 1: so Hoda has just been a great moment and stay
- 2:25Speaker 1: at home. So there's no more to it, I'm told
- 2:27Speaker 1: than that. So everybody don't be worried about this. But
- 2:30Speaker 1: the way it's been handled, it's sort of strange, Marb.
- 2:33Speaker 1: It's been so dramatic, so dramatic, and you know, I
- 2:36Speaker 1: think when you like to your point, when you don't
- 2:38Speaker 1: address it, the curiosity grows and grows. And you know,
- 2:41Speaker 1: not too long ago, there's there's rumors that there's a
- 2:44Speaker 1: feud between Hoda and Savannah and they didn't get along,
- 2:47Speaker 1: and so I think those kind of moments then bubble
- 2:50Speaker 1: back up and you wonder, well, what is really going
- 2:52Speaker 1: on here? Yeah, there's something that's so suspicious about it all.
- 2:56Speaker 1: And once again my sources tell me honestly, one of
- 2:59Speaker 1: her daughters is not doing well, but she said she's
- 3:01Speaker 1: she's got a cold, so everything's going to be okay.
- 3:05Speaker 1: But all this mystery. Part of me thinks maybe the
- 3:08Speaker 1: Today's Show wants to play it like this, like they're
- 3:10Speaker 1: not fools. Maybe more people are tuning in, like the
- 3:13Speaker 1: fact Holder just disappeared and they didn't say anything that's
- 3:16Speaker 1: so shady, Like you know, we were tuning every day
- 3:19Speaker 1: and if you watch these shows all the time. You
- 3:21Speaker 1: get used to the same faces, you get to sort
- 3:23Speaker 1: of expect them to be on your TV, and when
- 3:26Speaker 1: you're missing, you're like, oh, where's Holder. It's like getting
- 3:29Speaker 1: coffee every morning with a bunch of friends. That's what
- 3:31Speaker 1: the best shows really are. It's a coffee a drink
- 3:34Speaker 1: with your friends. And one day one friend just doesn't
- 3:37Speaker 1: show up and we don't mention it. I mean, really
- 3:41Speaker 1: is the nicest person she's TV. She's so lovely and
- 3:44Speaker 1: you know she's fifty eight. I know she wants to
- 3:47Speaker 1: spend time with her kids, and maybe this, you know,
- 3:49Speaker 1: this absence will give her a different perspective too on
- 3:52Speaker 1: what she really want. Funny, Funny you should say that
- 3:55Speaker 1: because my insiders have been telling me for a long
- 3:57Speaker 1: time that Holder is looking for the next chapter of
- 4:00Speaker 1: her professional life. And I've even been told too that
- 4:04Speaker 1: she might be dating again. So Hoda broke up with
- 4:07Speaker 1: her her fiance. They were engaged, they adopted the daughters together,
- 4:12Speaker 1: they broke up, and they remained friends. It was really touching.
- 4:15Speaker 1: About a year ago they said, we figured out we're
- 4:18Speaker 1: better friends than we are lovers. We're better as a
- 4:21Speaker 1: couple of friends. Then partners romantic partners. They called off
- 4:25Speaker 1: their engagement. Hoda has not dated for a year, but
- 4:28Speaker 1: her friends tell me now she's tipping tiptoeing. That's the
- 4:32Speaker 1: right expression, tiptoeing back into the dating pond. I want
- 4:36Speaker 1: Hoda to find a really good guy. Oh, me too.
- 4:39Speaker 1: You know, when I interviewed her a few years ago,
- 4:41Speaker 1: she had just her and I think fifty. You know,
- 4:44Speaker 1: she was in her just had a birthday, she was
- 4:46Speaker 1: in love, she was engaged. Yeah, she was so happy.
- 4:49Speaker 1: I can feel there for her, and I want her
- 4:50Speaker 1: to feel that again with someone's first Yeah. I want
- 4:53Speaker 1: her too as well. And I think at this point
- 4:55Speaker 1: she's made a lot of money. She writes her children's books,
- 4:58Speaker 1: She's got all those books out there. She can make
- 5:00Speaker 1: a lot of money doing other stuff in life. You
- 5:02Speaker 1: can walk away from these shows. You don't have to
- 5:04Speaker 1: be there forever. There is a life after those morning shows.
- 5:08Speaker 1: And I think it's smarter to leave when you just
- 5:10Speaker 1: don't love it anymore. And I'm not saying Holda doesn't
- 5:13Speaker 1: love it anymore, but I think there's other priorities going
- 5:15Speaker 1: on in her life. Jenna is married with kids. Savannah's
- 5:20Speaker 1: married with kids, I think Hoda has the kids should
- 5:22Speaker 1: love the marriage part, and so I am told that
- 5:26Speaker 1: maybe this might be the beginning of the end of
- 5:29Speaker 1: her on the Today Show. It's terribly sad for all
- 5:31Speaker 1: of us and don't want it to happen. We tune
- 5:33Speaker 1: in because we love Holda. Let's be clear about this.
- 5:35Speaker 1: The reason I want to it's not because a Willie guy.
- 5:38Speaker 1: I mean no, I do love Al Roker. Still. I
- 5:42Speaker 1: know I'll worry about l though, because he's just got
- 5:44Speaker 1: out of the hospital and now he's working twelve hours shifts.
- 5:48Speaker 1: I saw him on the Nightly News and he starts
- 5:51Speaker 1: the Today's Show at seven am. The Nightly News doesn't
- 5:54Speaker 1: finished till seven pm. That's a long day. Oh, he's exhausted,
- 5:57Speaker 1: and you have to remember this show, the Today Show
- 6:00Speaker 1: to grind, like you're up at it's a green in
- 6:01Speaker 1: the morning. You're at work by like four thirty. You're
- 6:04Speaker 1: being briefed and prepped and you have hours of content
- 6:07Speaker 1: to remember and present. That's a big stress ride. It's
- 6:11Speaker 1: a grind. I had a morning show that was thirty
- 6:13Speaker 1: minutes and I was exhausted afterwards. This is four hours hours,
- 6:19Speaker 1: four hours. Our little podcast, Mark twenty minutes. Imagine if
- 6:23Speaker 1: we had to do a four hour podcast every day.
- 6:26Speaker 1: We're already exhausted doing this. I can't imagine. I'm exhausted
- 6:30Speaker 1: all the time. I know hold to rest up was
- 6:32Speaker 1: sending our best to the family. But if you're listening
- 6:35Speaker 1: and she has listened a la, I don't think this
- 6:38Speaker 1: has been handled well hold up. I think it's best
- 6:40Speaker 1: just to say the truth, which is Holder has taken
- 6:42Speaker 1: a week off to look after her daughter. Yeah, like,
- 6:45Speaker 1: none of this like family, and I get it. I
- 6:47Speaker 1: do understand celebrities are very cautious when it comes to
- 6:51Speaker 1: talking about their kids, particularly young kids. But we know
- 6:55Speaker 1: you have these kids. We've seen their photographs on your Instagram,
- 6:58Speaker 1: you have spoken about them. So I always find in
- 7:01Speaker 1: these situations, whether you're a TV star like Holder or
- 7:05Speaker 1: a regular person like you and me, it's best just
- 7:07Speaker 1: to tell the truth and then everybody moves on. It's
- 7:10Speaker 1: so weird, isn't it. We want to know what you
- 7:12Speaker 1: think about all this, which brings us to our pole
- 7:14Speaker 1: question of the day. Holder's absence has finally been explained
- 7:20Speaker 1: with a very very brief quote that she has a
- 7:24Speaker 1: family health matter. Should they have given more details. Now,
- 7:29Speaker 1: I know I'm a nosy person, so that's why I
- 7:32Speaker 1: will say yes. But it's not just that I think
- 7:35Speaker 1: it would have been a better pr move had they
- 7:37Speaker 1: just said this right at the beginning of the week.
- 7:40Speaker 1: We want to know what you think. Go vote on
- 7:41Speaker 1: our Twitter page at Naughty Knights rather at Facebook page,
- 7:45Speaker 1: and he shows a chape out tomorrow to hear your results.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Haley P, what are you working on? Yes? So the
- 7:51Speaker 1: drama is continuing from Brandy Glenville as it does. As
- 7:55Speaker 1: it does. Oh, let me explain what's going on. So
- 7:57Speaker 1: Brandy Glenville is feeling the fall out of her early
- 8:00Speaker 1: exit from the Real Housewives Ultimate Girls' trip, though she
- 8:04Speaker 1: believes she's done nothing wrong. Of course, of course, of course,
- 8:08Speaker 1: Brandy so after noticeably being absent from the Traders season
- 8:12Speaker 1: one reunion, multiple sources have confirmed to people that Glanville
- 8:16Speaker 1: missed the sit down due to ongoing investigations involving an
- 8:19Speaker 1: alleged incident from last month filming the Real Housewives Ultimate
- 8:23Speaker 1: Girls strip with Caroline Manzo. Now we remember what happened,
- 8:27Speaker 1: but Brandy said. Brandy's rep said Brandy wanted nothing more
- 8:31Speaker 1: than to attend the Traders Reunion. She said it's been
- 8:34Speaker 1: one of Brandy's favorite projects. People people have only heard
- 8:38Speaker 1: unsubstantiated versions and by Brandy maintains her innocence and vehetminly
- 8:43Speaker 1: denies any wrongdoing. Well, it's all on tape, Mark, I mean,
- 8:46Speaker 1: when you run a brother show, they gotcha, gotcha. So yeah,
- 8:50Speaker 1: there's really no denying this. This is on tape, like
- 8:53Speaker 1: this is type Yeah, it's type. So she's been accused
- 8:57Speaker 1: of touching Caroline Manza. The Neil host went to Sara's
- 9:01Speaker 1: saying it wasn't just a kiss, she reached for her
- 9:04Speaker 1: genital and so this is pretty out there. It's really tricky,
- 9:08Speaker 1: isn't it? Because part of the love I have for
- 9:11Speaker 1: the housewives, it's just how messy the show is. It's
- 9:15Speaker 1: always been messy. Those housewives like Bethany who are like, oh,
- 9:19Speaker 1: I don't want any part of it anymore because it's
- 9:21Speaker 1: become too toxic. It always was from day one. It
- 9:24Speaker 1: was never Mary Poppins. We've changed, the show hasn't. And
- 9:28Speaker 1: that's the difference here. That show was always a train wreck,
- 9:32Speaker 1: but ten fifteen years ago when it started, we were
- 9:35Speaker 1: a bit of a train wreck to America and now
- 9:37Speaker 1: we've learned that a lot of things can't be said,
- 9:40Speaker 1: shouldn't be said, shouldn't be done. And I think that's progress,
- 9:43Speaker 1: and I think that's a really good thing. I think
- 9:45Speaker 1: about my work life, Mark twenty years ago. I think
- 9:49Speaker 1: you could smoke in my office, just like you can't
- 9:53Speaker 1: do this stuff. You've got to change with the times.
- 9:56Speaker 1: And if Housewives does not, I fear it could be
- 9:59Speaker 1: the end. Like I'm starting to turn away from all this.
- 10:02Speaker 1: I don't know if the behavior got worse. I don't
- 10:04Speaker 1: think it did. I think I changed, not the show. Yeah,
- 10:07Speaker 1: I think we both have changed. And I realized that
- 10:10Speaker 1: these housewives feel this pressure to continuously outdo themselves. Ye drama,
- 10:15Speaker 1: and it's like at what cost? You know? Now you're
- 10:18Speaker 1: you know you're under investigation, and you know under investigation.
- 10:23Speaker 1: It is strange, and you know, I want to give Brandy,
- 10:25Speaker 1: who I know, just that sort of a softer touch here.
- 10:29Speaker 1: She has been rewarded for bad behavior for a decade,
- 10:33Speaker 1: so it should be no surprise that the bad behavior
- 10:38Speaker 1: has been encouraged. And she's got that message loud and clear.
- 10:41Speaker 1: The more crazy you are, the more screen time you get,
- 10:45Speaker 1: and doing this is it. It is wrong. It's absolutely wrong,
- 10:49Speaker 1: There's no doubt about that. And I wonder what's going
- 10:52Speaker 1: to happen with the with the franchise moving forward. I'm
- 10:55Speaker 1: told that they're shooting the New York, the new rebooted
- 10:59Speaker 1: New York Show as we speak. They've got a whole
- 11:03Speaker 1: new cast, and they're trying really hard to figure out
- 11:07Speaker 1: They're using this almost as a as a prototype. They're
- 11:10Speaker 1: trying to figure out really hard, what would the show
- 11:12Speaker 1: be if we didn't have all this nessiness? And I'm
- 11:17Speaker 1: told it's a little duller. I mean, I'm not watching
- 11:20Speaker 1: it at that point. I think it's just like let
- 11:23Speaker 1: it bow out, you know, It's like we're all moving
- 11:26Speaker 1: on to something else. That's what it is, you know.
- 11:28Speaker 1: I kind of feel like that with Sex in the City.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Don't tell anybody, I know this reboot oh so much
- 11:35Speaker 1: to few of them cringe you, But like I watched
- 11:37Speaker 1: because it's so bad then so I love these characters.
- 11:41Speaker 1: I know. I know it's so tricky, isn't it. I
- 11:44Speaker 1: think you're right, Bok, can you do that? Can you
- 11:47Speaker 1: bob out? Or do you hold on to the bitter end?
- 11:50Speaker 1: I think that what the universe. The life keeps whispering
- 11:53Speaker 1: at you and telling you, and then at some point
- 11:55Speaker 1: you have to accept you have to move on, let
- 11:58Speaker 1: it go to I know I'm quite good at it. Surprisingly,
- 12:03Speaker 1: I definitely overstay my welcome ten minutes, so not the
- 12:08Speaker 1: whole cla but I mean I could get out ten
- 12:10Speaker 1: minutes earlier before things get quite as sloppy. But I
- 12:13Speaker 1: don't have the meltdown like I'm gone. I'm back home
- 12:16Speaker 1: in a taxi when that happens. But I'm brandy. This
- 12:20Speaker 1: is sloppy. Hey, moving along. This is a big story.
- 12:23Speaker 1: So the King has asked King Charles, that is, has
- 12:26Speaker 1: asked the Duke in the Duchess of Sussex, that's Harry
- 12:29Speaker 1: and Megan to move out of Frogable cottage. Sir Prince
- 12:33Speaker 1: Andrew can move in. It has now been confirmed by
- 12:35Speaker 1: their rep they have been asked to leave. Now I
- 12:40Speaker 1: should point out they don't own this cottage. Neither really
- 12:44Speaker 1: does Charge Charles. It's owned by the royal estate and
- 12:48Speaker 1: it's passed on to however will be the next king
- 12:51Speaker 1: and the next Queen or the next king. And so
- 12:53Speaker 1: they were given the cottage to live in while they
- 12:56Speaker 1: were in Britain and after they trashed the whole family
- 13:00Speaker 1: in that book, do they have any right to live
- 13:04Speaker 1: rent free in a cottage that they're not even living it?
- 13:07Speaker 1: They're they're in America, they're in California. So this cottage
- 13:11Speaker 1: is basically sitting empty and they don't own it. So
- 13:14Speaker 1: let's put it like this, Mark, your mom and dad, Hello,
- 13:17Speaker 1: Doris alone, give you a free apartment in the city. Free.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Now they don't. Oh, you don't own it, Mark, You're
- 13:24Speaker 1: just living there. It's sort of rented, but without any rent.
- 13:28Speaker 1: You moved to California. Then in California your trash Doris
- 13:32Speaker 1: or what oh four? It would never happen now, But
- 13:35Speaker 1: if it did, would you expect the key to the
- 13:37Speaker 1: apartment still be available? No, it's like no one with
- 13:41Speaker 1: a consequence. So you know, every action has a reaction,
- 13:44Speaker 1: and this is the reaction. If you're gonna bite me,
- 13:47Speaker 1: be careful, Like I don't know this one because the
- 13:50Speaker 1: headline is so outrageous. It looks so petty. It looks
- 13:53Speaker 1: like Charles has been really petty, doesn't it, But also
- 13:56Speaker 1: too he wants to move his disgraced brother out of
- 14:00Speaker 1: this thirty room mansion and put him in a smaller cottage,
- 14:05Speaker 1: and there's a cottage that's available and empty. The problem is,
- 14:08Speaker 1: Harry and Meghan, did you still live there? Some would
- 14:11Speaker 1: argue they still do, but not really. So he's pushing
- 14:15Speaker 1: his disgraced brother into this smaller cottage. Don't get me wrong,
- 14:19Speaker 1: it's five bedrooms. It's still amazing, but it's just downgrading
- 14:24Speaker 1: Andrew and in the process, Megan and Harry wouldn't have
- 14:28Speaker 1: to give up the keys. And they are outraged about this,
- 14:32Speaker 1: like they're shocked. I wouldn't be shocked, honestly. Once again,
- 14:35Speaker 1: if I trashed my family in a book, I wouldn't
- 14:38Speaker 1: expect to turn up in London. I just live in
- 14:41Speaker 1: their house. It's their house, right exactly. So I think
- 14:44Speaker 1: Harry Megan, if they want to go back and visit,
- 14:46Speaker 1: perhaps they have an open room somewhere on the estate.
- 14:49Speaker 1: If not, they should expect to pony up the money
- 14:52Speaker 1: to get a secure hotel room, get a great hotel room.
- 14:55Speaker 1: I mean they did get one hundred million dollars, I
- 14:57Speaker 1: mean they got Murney. They don't They're not going to stay,
- 15:00Speaker 1: you know, in a bed and breakfast outside of London
- 15:02Speaker 1: and commuting each day on the bus, they'll get Clarridges
- 15:06Speaker 1: were a really great hotel in London. It's a wild story,
- 15:09Speaker 1: but I gotta say it, I sort of saw it coming.
- 15:13Speaker 1: If you bite the hands that feeds, you will be careful.
- 15:17Speaker 1: There's always a consequence. Hey, we're going to take a
- 15:20Speaker 1: quick break and we will be right back. Welcome back
- 15:24Speaker 1: to the Naughty but Night Show. I'm rob sure too.
- 15:27Speaker 1: With our dear friend Mark Lupo. Hey, let's get to
- 15:29Speaker 1: the poles Mega Marcole. It's very disappointed that Harry had
- 15:35Speaker 1: such little money, so little money when they got married,
- 15:39Speaker 1: so we're doing married. I think she thought he was
- 15:42Speaker 1: a billionaire. The family is worth billions, like if you
- 15:44Speaker 1: see it on TV. They've got they've got carriages, they've
- 15:47Speaker 1: got palaces, they've got diamonds and the Tower of London.
- 15:51Speaker 1: Like that's a rich family. She found out he's actually
- 15:54Speaker 1: only had about ten million. We should be so lucky.
- 15:57Speaker 1: I know, I know, I know, but ten million doesn't
- 16:00Speaker 1: allow you to live like a prince. You live very
- 16:02Speaker 1: well on ten million, but you don't live like the
- 16:04Speaker 1: King of England. So I question was would you expect
- 16:09Speaker 1: a prince to be rich? So Mark you're in a bar,
- 16:11Speaker 1: you meet a prince, you're kissing your cuddle. I'm not
- 16:14Speaker 1: taking the love away. I'm not saying it was for
- 16:16Speaker 1: the money. But would you expect that guy to be rich?
- 16:20Speaker 1: Of course, and I would expect him to, you know,
- 16:23Speaker 1: act accordingly. Take me to dinners, you know, pay for
- 16:25Speaker 1: my oper home. Yes, I want the crown from the tiara,
- 16:29Speaker 1: from the pilot. I would expect. Well, he wasn't really
- 16:32Speaker 1: that rich. Would you expect a prince to be rich?
- 16:35Speaker 1: Eighty percent said yes they would. I would too, I
- 16:39Speaker 1: would expect him to be How's that ever happened to you? Mark?
- 16:42Speaker 1: You've gone out for drinks with somebody, a friend mine.
- 16:45Speaker 1: I was quite naive at the time. I'm not sure
- 16:47Speaker 1: why mine were the real housewives of New York. They're
- 16:49Speaker 1: not as rich as they think. No, no, no, they would.
- 16:51Speaker 1: But the thing is with these people, and I've experienced
- 16:54Speaker 1: this too, is that you go out thinking one thing,
- 16:56Speaker 1: and then they met they ask you to pay. Oh,
- 16:59Speaker 1: you can always pay if you have a trip with
- 17:00Speaker 1: the housewife. You're Beverly Hill. They're rich. The ones from
- 17:04Speaker 1: Beverly Hills over money money, But the New York ones
- 17:08Speaker 1: sort of live in the two Bedrooms, which is very
- 17:10Speaker 1: nice in New York, but it's not quite as rich
- 17:12Speaker 1: as they make at Oh it's the smoking mirrors of
- 17:15Speaker 1: the houses mirrors. Yeah, it's like a lot of celebrities
- 17:17Speaker 1: are like that. Hey, don't forget to vote on today's
- 17:19Speaker 1: polk Twitter page at Naughty Nights rob our facebook page
- 17:22Speaker 1: and would a gossip And sure it's a check back
- 17:24Speaker 1: to borrow. What's it here? Your results are? Now it's
- 17:27Speaker 1: time for a nicest for the day. Well, we've gotten
- 17:32Speaker 1: the naughty so on this on this couple. So now
- 17:34Speaker 1: we're given a nice story. We're balancing it because that's
- 17:37Speaker 1: the sort of show we are. We like balance here. Yes,
- 17:40Speaker 1: so our nicest of the day it's Prince Harry and
- 17:42Speaker 1: Mega Markle. That's for a good reason. They were spotted
- 17:46Speaker 1: out for the first time since Harry released his bombshell
- 17:49Speaker 1: memoir Sair. So the couple stepped out and they were
- 17:53Speaker 1: all smiles. They were spotted arriving at Hollywood hotspot sent
- 17:57Speaker 1: and Sinday Bungalows, which is now told its top eatery
- 18:01Speaker 1: for industry power players in Los Angeles. I've been there?
- 18:04Speaker 1: Have you been? Them? Out? But it's like a private club.
- 18:06Speaker 1: It's like the Soho House. I'm not a member, but
- 18:09Speaker 1: a friend of mine was. It's really it's really nice,
- 18:11Speaker 1: very expensive. Yeah, I mean, it's like a most five
- 18:13Speaker 1: thousand dollars a year just to be a member. And
- 18:16Speaker 1: then don't go with a housewife. You're gonna pay. You're paying,
- 18:18Speaker 1: and they just sort to pay for the meals and
- 18:19Speaker 1: everything else inside, so it's not cheap. I like that
- 18:22Speaker 1: they're out and about. And is it a coincidence on
- 18:26Speaker 1: the day the news drops that they get kicked out
- 18:28Speaker 1: of the Frogmore cottage, they go out for dinner. I
- 18:32Speaker 1: don't know, Maybe not, but even so, it's lovely to
- 18:35Speaker 1: see them. I liked it too. It's raining. He got
- 18:38Speaker 1: out the car first and then she got at They're
- 18:41Speaker 1: a cute couple. They're a really cute, cute beautiful I
- 18:44Speaker 1: mean that they Yeah, honestly, stop doing interviews and just
- 18:48Speaker 1: do photographs. You're so beautiful. I don't want to hear
- 18:52Speaker 1: you talk anymore. I just want to see all just
- 18:53Speaker 1: pictures of you looking lovely and nicest of the day,
- 18:56Speaker 1: and now I noticed the day No, nor Justin Bieber
- 18:59Speaker 1: has canceled the rest of his tour. So he postponed
- 19:02Speaker 1: his tour because of mental health issues. I totally get it.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Look after yourself, everybody. But he never really canceled the
- 19:09Speaker 1: rest of the show. He postponed it so people didn't
- 19:11Speaker 1: get a refund. So for months people have been waiting
- 19:14Speaker 1: for these new dates. The new dates were announced, and
- 19:17Speaker 1: then they were suddenly pulled from his website. So Bieber
- 19:20Speaker 1: has not said anything about this yet, and that's what
- 19:23Speaker 1: makes him so naughty. And it goes back to the
- 19:26Speaker 1: story about Hoda talk speak up. Honestly, there's no problem
- 19:32Speaker 1: that we can't solve if we talk about it. This
- 19:34Speaker 1: is a bit shady. I'd feel sort of stung if
- 19:37Speaker 1: I bought a ticket to my favorite pop star then
- 19:40Speaker 1: the show got postponed. Then I thought, great, I've got
- 19:43Speaker 1: a chance again to see him. I haven't had a
- 19:46Speaker 1: refund yet, and then suddenly I find out from the
- 19:48Speaker 1: venue it as being canceled. Justin not good. You know,
- 19:52Speaker 1: he sold his whole catalog for two hundred million, so
- 19:55Speaker 1: now he needs never to do a show ever again.
- 19:58Speaker 1: He's so rich. That's what I'm wondering. I is just
- 20:00Speaker 1: the beginning of it end for I think he's got
- 20:03Speaker 1: so much money. He never enjoyed touring. I was told so.
- 20:05Speaker 1: He enjoyed making music. He didn't enjoy going on the roads.
- 20:09Speaker 1: And a lot of artists don't. I do get that.
- 20:11Speaker 1: Artists in the seventies and the eighties they sell their
- 20:13Speaker 1: catalogs for hundreds of millions because they're later on in
- 20:16Speaker 1: life and they want to plan out their estate. I guess.
- 20:19Speaker 1: But someone as young as Justin to be selling his
- 20:21Speaker 1: catalog I think we might never see him perform live,
- 20:24Speaker 1: or at least for a really long time. Let's end
- 20:26Speaker 1: with a moment of Rob. You gotta Robbi, get a Rob,
- 20:28Speaker 1: You get a Rob. Twenty years from now, you are
- 20:31Speaker 1: not going to be disappointed by the things that you did.
- 20:36Speaker 1: You're going to be disappointed by the things that you didn't.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Be careful when opportunities come along. Don't say no because
- 20:44Speaker 1: you're scared, because you're frightened. Say yes. What do you think, Mark?
- 20:49Speaker 1: I mean, I always think about being asked to be
- 20:51Speaker 1: a product this podcast, and I will always be happy
- 20:54Speaker 1: I said yes to doing it. You could have said no,
- 20:56Speaker 1: and I bet your instinct in the moment I know
- 20:58Speaker 1: you very well, was like no. But you took a moment.
- 21:01Speaker 1: Think about it. I call this delaying a reaction. So
- 21:05Speaker 1: when I get an email that's a yes or a no,
- 21:09Speaker 1: I'm like, can I get back to you in a
- 21:11Speaker 1: couple of days? And I think about it, think about it.
- 21:15Speaker 1: My experience and I think yours is too. If you
- 21:18Speaker 1: tell the truth is the things that you're most disappointed
- 21:22Speaker 1: about are the opportunities, the events, the fun times that
- 21:28Speaker 1: you said no to, never the ones that you say
- 21:31Speaker 1: yes to. Hey, that is it for today. Thank you
- 21:33Speaker 1: so much for listening to The Naughty but Nice with
- 21:35Speaker 1: Rob and Mark show, a production of iHeart Radio. Don't
- 21:39Speaker 1: forget to subscribe on the iHeartRadio Appapple podcast. Wherever you listen,

- 21:46Speaker 1: And remember altogether. Now, if you're going to be naughty,
- 21:51Speaker 1: you've got to be nice. Have a great trip, Mark Bitpi.
- 21:56Speaker 1: It's not even nice with Rah
