- 0:00[upbeat music] All right, all right, all right.
- 0:17Well, it's obvious I haven't reprogrammed any- [laughs]... since we did the big reset, uh, the, uh, the, uh, I- I Wanna Ride My Bicycle song, but this is- [laughs]... Full Spectrum Cycling, show number 334. Oh, yes.
- 0:30Right? Right? Yeah. Right? That's, like, part of Alabama. Well, 333 was part deux. Yep. Yeah, there was kind of like the skip of the record on that one. I, I still have the other- A little...
- 0:41one in the can, so we can probably get that one out at some point. It's the year where Alexander the Great crossed the Hellespont to invade the, uh, Persian Empire. In 3- Well, it's not this year... in 334?
- 0:52It happened a while ago. 334. A- AD? Before Christo. Oh, uh, oh, oh, okay, okay. I guess. All right, well, always good for a history lesson with JK, folks. On the fly.
- 1:04[laughs] You know, I don't know, every, we, we've been doing this monthly now, and every single time I forget how to do anything. Yeah. It's like, you know, if you don't do it weekly, I guess- The muscle memory's gone...
- 1:14you just forget shit. Yeah. [laughs] You could put, uh, put that, there you go. Yeah. You, you, now my muscle remembers what you sound like. Use your words. Excellent. Tony, use your words. Excellent, excellent.
- 1:24Holy hell, is it hot out. It is. Have you, any, you- It was 96 degrees in the shade. [laughs] Actually. [sings] It's real hot. Oh.
- 1:35Have you guys- I mean, I looked, I looked at the, uh, thingy in the van, and it said 96 degrees, and it was in the shade, so- Nice... the song came to life on me You should've taken a picture of that too.
- 1:43I did take a picture. That's awesome. [laughs] Yeah. I guess before we get too far along- In my mania, I didn't lose that part... we should, uh, we should say who's up in here. Charlie Brown over there. Mon Dieu.
- 1:54[laughs] France lost today. Oh, no. [laughs] Uh, we'll, we'll get to France in a little bit. Uh, Mr. Tony Conapechudowger over there. Cory Bauman's made an, uh, a return appearance here. Hello.
- 2:07River West 24 checkpoint manager. Is that the correct, uh, title these days, or? Yeah, yeah, we'll go with bonus manager. Close enough for government work. Yeah. Uh- Thanks for having me back... right on.
- 2:17I'm Sven, and, uh, this is Full Spectrum Cycling. You may have heard about us, hopefully at some point or something. Uh, you know, so speaking of the heat, I've been watching the Tour de France.
- 2:28Any of you guys watching Tour de France? It's hot. It was, okay, so t- yesterday I, I saw Hundo on my thermometer in my vehicle. They are riding 120 miles at 40 degrees C, which is 100 degrees, basically. Yeah.
- 2:44And also climbing 14,000 feet. I just, I can't even believe humans can live through that. Right, or survive after doing it. There's not a poor on that bike. Yeah, or survive after, after, after doing such.
- 2:55After doing such. No, it's just, and that's five hours plus on the bike, and going, you know- Well, that's how I feel coming in-... 30 mile an hour, or close to 30 mile an hour average- Right... for 120 miles.
- 3:05Yeah, on the lower- That's just completely insane. Yeah, on the, on the local feel of that- You're almost as fit as I am... it's like, oh, no, as long as I'm on the bike and just slightly
- 3:13achieving the goal of getting to where I need to, I'm not that bad. It's as soon as I stop, everything's gonna go to hell. Yeah, that's when you- And-... that's when you turn bright red and [laughs] Yeah.
- 3:22That's when you need pickle juice. Ah, yes. Now explain, I, I don't need it anymore. I, yes, I'll take pickle juice anytime. Oh, man, such a great thing for big races. I don't know about that stuff. Oh, man. Oh, yeah.
- 3:33Dude, that's how I intimidated, uh, kids in, uh- He doesn't like pickles... high school, [laughs] high school tennis. I, I like pickles.
- 3:38Everyone had their Gatorade, but I had a jar of pickles, and I would just slam the pickles. Oh, that's- So it was mentally getting in- It, it's magic... people's heads too, which is fun. [laughs] That rules. Yeah.
- 3:46I know what that was, like, "What's that guy doing?" He's just slugging pickle juice. He's smart. [laughs] So, uh, we'll clear this crap outta here.
- 3:56I just, since, so last time when JK and I did the thing with Alroy, because we had a little technical difficulty last time, uh, only those four little figure things were the only thing I'd 3D printed.
- 4:06So now it's been pretty close to a month, maybe a little, little less than a month. Man, that thing's been running pretty often. Every time I come to the shop, it's running.
- 4:14Well, it, I mean, originally I was just figuring out, like, what, well, what, what should I make? I don't know. I mean, it's pretty cool. Those, uh, hooky things, those, those, those are pretty cool.
- 4:23That's for, like- These are cool... for, like, hanging a wheel. Yeah. And whoever designed it was smart, and it can hold, like, 25 pounds, so that's sweet. Nice. So the Lionel Richie is still in, not there?
- 4:32It's in, it's in the queue. Okay. All right. I was trying to burn- Just wanted to make sure. Okay, I was trying- As you recall... I was trying to burn through all that gray stuff, so these are,
- 4:40these are things where you, you get your little scale rock crawler out and you crawl all over them. Oh, the- That's what that thing is. It's got a good density to it too.
- 4:47Yeah, and you know, you gotta see it- I thought they were the hills of Navarone... you gotta see when it's, when, see when, see when it's printing, there's these, like, a bunch of little tiny triangles inside there.
- 4:55So it's hollow, but- Yeah. Go into business with, uh, Adventure Rock. Do you print little hooks- Yeah... then too that can mount the two together? Yep, yep. That's what I thought. There's, there's some back there.
- 5:03Yeah, that's cool. Yeah, you can see how that works. That's badass. Cory, you can, g- give me those hooks, so we're just gonna clear some of this shit outta here so we have- There you go...
- 5:09in case Michael spills a beer again this week. Not fatbike.com, though. Ah. Yeah, you need your bell covers. I selectively decided to forget that part of our program.
- 5:16[laughs] I'll remember the, I remember the good parts. I'd just like to say, I'm on a boat, motherfucker. Yeah, everybody, that's the first thing you print when you get a printer, is a Benchy. It's, yeah.
- 5:25That's what ev- everybody does. The Orca. Oh, do you make boat things? Okay, so even, e- You're gonna need a bigger boat...
- 5:29even though I'm making things that are useful, that's for just scraping your shit off the printer bed. Gonna need a bigger s- yeah, or your pipe. This thing is really cool because it's a thing- It's tool holder...
- 5:39that has a deal to put magnets in. So you just pop those out, put magnets in, and now all these are magnetized. It looks like an ice cube tray. Oh, nice.
- 5:45What people think of to print, and you go like, "Well, that's for all my small nuts and bolts for the RC hobby." It's, like, perfect. I, I'm kinda depressed you didn't have that 3D-printed bike I sent you, uh, yesterday.
- 5:58Well, I gotta figure out how to make a 3D-printed, uh, like, replacement dropout for our, our, uh, b-... growlers. Yeah. There you go.
- 6:06I don't, I don't know, I don't think plastic would work, but maybe high-end, some kinda carbon impregnated- Yeah... plastic or some shit. Yeah. Right. Or they can do it out of metal now, of course. All out metal.
- 6:15But really, the really the reason of the 3D printing is because of those fatbike.com, pull one of those off there, Tony. Uh, those are, um, those are valve stem caps that our friends at Wonder Caps- Oh...
- 6:28Kobe and his buddy Sam make- Yeah, these are cool... ma- made those for us. Neighbor Kobe. Yeah. And, um, I think it's a pretty clever thing.
- 6:35They're doing quite a few, uh, m- bigger runs for, like, I think Chris' Slow Roll, which by the way, is coming up September 20th. Oh, yeah. Uh-huh. Yeah, yeah. Chris, Chris Cagle's, uh, Slow Roll.
- 6:46Um, as like, I don't know if they're gonna tchotchkes, gonna give them away, what they're gonna do with them. Right, right.
- 6:51But speaking of giving them away, I'm gonna give a pair of those to the first fat biker that sends me a, a, a note to info@fat-bike.com.
- 7:00I'll send you, I'll send you a pair of those to test them out just because- [laughs]... I wanna see how they work. I haven't actually even put one on a bike yet.
- 7:08So, uh, but apparently they've gone through several iterations. And so what was that email address again? It works on Presta. Info @, not you, you fuck. Yeah, I'm gonna order a fat bike right now.
- 7:17[laughs] As soon as I get the invoice, I'm gonna send you an email. Yeah. Probably a good call. Um- [laughs] But anyway, yeah, I th- and I think th- they did a good job. Originally they were like- They're cool...
- 7:27the original ones were like this big around. They were super humongous. And like, maybe, maybe just a little smaller. Down that in there. Little smaller. But, um, they do a good job.
- 7:37They, uh, are using some higher end filament, so they're nice and shiny and stuff, and I don't know, he made that fancy holder inside. I like it. That's cool.
- 7:45Uh, and we will also, with the, uh, the Fat Bike Lab, if you're a member of the lab, I'll be working on some other stuff. If you're not a member of the lab yet, you should probably check it out. Member lab.
- 7:57I think it's school.com/fatbikers, something like that. I don't remember what it is, but it's something of that nature. You can find it. It's our community.
- 8:07It's what we're doing instead of spending all our time on a website. We're spending all our time, uh- Riding bikes... doing community stuff with people who are actually into what we're doing.
- 8:17That's what that's all about. Yeah. Yeah. Uh, Fat Tire Tour Milwaukee happened. It's good. If I'm not mistaken- That was good... Fat Tire Tour Green Bay is coming up.
- 8:27If you missed the Milwaukee one, yes, August 15th is the other one up there in Green Bay. Uh- It had str- it had, it had danger in it... well, I didn't get there- Which was odd... until a little later.
- 8:37I got there- Yeah... at the Puddler Hall stop. No, they had a, they had a, uh, a, a contest with a bullwhip. So, I mean, man, if you've ever cracked a whip- You cracked yourself in the head with a whip... it, yeah...
- 8:48yeah. I mean, there's a reason that, I mean, it was an Indiana Jones themed ride, and there's a reason why he's got the scar, that if you saw the third movie. He whipped it? Ba, ba, ba.
- 8:55Yeah, he went, got it right on the chin. Cat o' nine tails or some such. Unless he whipped it. But, um, yeah. He missed. I was kind of surprised that that occurred. [laughs] I wanted to try, but then I thought-
- 9:11Maybe not... better of myself. Yeah. It was, you know, the third stop- I, I remember you were, uh-... and I was, I was a little tired and affected at that point...
- 9:17I remember in Port Washington, you were brave enough to let the, uh, trials rider, uh, damn near take your nuts off. Oh, yeah, he was- Oh, yeah... he was a, he was a light is killed in this one...
- 9:25Smage doing a little- Fat Smoge, yeah... little bunny hops above- I got a great video of that... [laughs] an inch from the groin. Yeah, that was, that was a- You were brave. You were brave... that was, that was, yeah.
- 9:36That was, well, yeah, Zito just threw me in the, like, "Hey, I need a volunteer." Out of, out of the frying pan, into the fire. Ba, bum, and he just flew, you know, so. Yeah, don't say it another time.
- 9:47Speaking of, uh- All right, Corey. Speaking- What's, what's going on with Corey? Corey got a new car 'cause his other car got smashed up. Yeah, I got T-boned the second to last day of school. That was fun. Wow. Ah.
- 9:55What a drag. Yeah. So I, but I got a car. Um- So what happens in a, what, what happens in a T-bone with a, with a Prius with batteries in it? Do they just nothing? It just burst into flames, yet he's still here. Yeah.
- 10:07Yeah. No, no flames, I assume. I, uh, no, I, I was leaving school. I had a green light. A lady had a red, and she saw the next light ahead, which was green. Uh-huh. And so,
- 10:21yeah, it was a short block or whatever, and there's two sets of stoplights. I'm not saying that I've never done that, but I've never done that when another car was not, you know, was there. Yeah.
- 10:29So it's like, "Oh, shit." Yeah. Yeah, no. Well, you were- So... the unlucky recipient of a smashing of the vehicle then. Yeah. So, but, um, I don't know. Everything's, everything's good.
- 10:40Slight, uh, shoulder soreness, whatever, that's pretty much gone. Doesn't affect your drumming hand? No. No, I've played- That's key... like three shows since. That's key.
- 10:49How it, I really wanted to go to the Heap Fest, or the Heap- The Heap Show was super fun... Heap House Show. Yeah. But, uh, yeah, it didn't happen.
- 10:57I'm, uh, dealing with that neighborhood right now, and I do not wanna I heard you're looking for a house in, uh, the, in the Great North, uh, suburbs. I've, um, I've- You can, you can join us up there.
- 11:07[laughs] Michael's a northern suburban resident too. I'm just- Oh, I, I thought you were gonna go, like, help... I got one neighbor, and now Diaspora and Timbuktu throw these parties that are...
- 11:21Well, actually, I should not say that. Diaspora so far has been great. Hmm. The old company? Yeah, the old company. Timbuktu is just a, pardon my French, but a fuck show. Yeah.
- 11:34The guy, the building is owned and the business is owned by a judge's husband. Oh, I thought it was a cop that owned it. Uh- Or-... Diaspora, I think he- Oh, okay... at one point- Oh, yeah...
- 11:47had a potential police- They may have some police, police presence. Hmm... but- Or- So they get away with absolutely everything.
- 11:52I can't tell you how many people have been peeing in my yard, who have been- Besides Daniel... well, and me. And me. I mean, I like to pee outside. [laughs] I like to pee outside.
- 12:02I mean, yeah, it's the People's Holiday is coming up and- But not in my yard next to my car. Where is Mike McAbee, by the way? No. He's coming for, uh, the Riverwest 24. It, it, it's just like- Right on...
- 12:10there's so much... I'm so tired of the bullshit, like- When we had someone, like a 10-year-old kid try to steal my bike the other day, Molly was like, "Oh, maybe we should consider going somewhere else." So yes- Yeah...
- 12:24I am looking at a house in Glendale. Well, the other thing about up there is, uh- All the way? That's what- In Glen- I know it's all the way in Glendale... Well, yeah. And Glendale's a nice- When, when Carlos-...
- 12:32six ride on my bike to work... remember when Carlos moved from River West to Glendale? It's like four miles away... and he's like, "Yeah, when, when, when I moved away- Well, that's telling-...
- 12:38like I'm not sure if I can make it to the thing." And I was like, "Oh dude, where did you move to?" And he's like, "Glendale." If- I'm like, "Dude, it's like that fucking far away" It's not four miles away.
- 12:46It's not very far. [laughs] I'm like- If Carlos is-... I really thought he was talking like Wireless County or some shit like that... if Carlos is listening to this- [laughs]...
- 12:51his house in Glendale was absolutely stellar. And his house i- on Fratney Street sold for- Was-... a whole bunch of money recently... and it's sold twice since. Wow. [laughs] That was a nice crib.
- 13:01He had a really- I had a buyer set up for- He had a really cool artist studio in the attic... that- That's pretty cool... third floor is gorgeous. I had a buyer set up for him during the River West 24. It was, um, um...
- 13:12Oh God, he's not gonna listen to this, thank God. Who bought my house? Um, uh- Seth... Seth. It was Seth. I'm like, I'm like, "Seth, I found you a house." And he sold it over the River West 24 weekend for way too cheap.
- 13:25Yeah. Yeah, he was way under 200 when he sold it. Way. Way. Yeah. Way. Way. I'm like- Yeah... "You are a fool." Yeah. But he doesn't care. He- He's like, "I don't need the money, and you know."
- 13:37Yeah, wouldn't you like to be able to say that? Right? I don't need the money. I'm g- gonna never be able to say that, but- I don't need the mon- well, look around, this dump. I, I don't need that money.
- 13:45[laughs] I- if anybody is- That's not a hill I'm gonna o- prepare to die on... I'm not- Speaking of a hill. [bell ringing] Oh, yeah. Let's, uh- Wow, we're there already... let me just- Yeah, we're pretty-...
- 13:54just shove it in there... we're pretty quick. Uh- [laughs]... think we wanna get this, uh, this show, you know, hopping along. Well, the h- Um-... the hill is where you make it. Doesn't really matter. Uh, J- [laughs]...
- 14:04JK brought the, uh, the Leaning Kugel Tropical Hazy IPA today. Yep, yep. Do tell. How is this 7%? It drinks like it's like four. Yeah. Yeah. It's- That's trouble. Is this the stuff we, is this what we had at Summerfest?
- 14:17No, can't be. Yeah. No. Yeah. I don't- Yeah, it is. But they had these tall boys at Summerfest- Yeah, they had the-... like 19, the 19 ounce. Mm-hmm. That is then. Yep. Yeah.
- 14:24Last y- uh, d- look, I think it was during Devo. Yeah, it was. Last year. It's the only time we went. Yeah. Yep. It, it- Yeah... the presence was at Uline and the, the Liney- This does not taste like 7%...
- 14:33yeah, we were at Uline, which is, uh, so- I know. These are, these are pretty good. Yeah. So Uline is my daughter, that's her stage. She runs that stage. And, uh, we, Tony and, uh, my wife Wendy and I, kind of
- 14:45George Plimpton our way into the pit, and then we discovered that we couldn't really get back out 'cause we didn't actually have any passes to be in the pit. So it's like, [laughs] how are we gonna get beer? Well, hey.
- 14:59We said, "Hey, can you bring us some passes please? We need to get out of the pit." She, yeah, she showed up with passes. 'Cause he- "Should we go to the pit?" 'Cause he goes, "How'd you get in the pit?"
- 15:05I go, "Well, the guy was dialoguing some woman- Just walked in... so we just waltzed right in there." It's like, you know- Yeah. We're old men... it was, it was, it was between sets. Yeah. I d- nobody pays attention.
- 15:13It helps being a be- [laughs]... being old men though. It does. Like old men aren't gonna bust into the VIP section. Somewhat help. Or old women. Yeah, we are. Well, Wendy's not old. She's- No... but still a woman.
- 15:21They can get in anywhere pretty much, rock and roll-wise- Right... I would imagine. [laughs] Cory being a rock star could probably tell us all about that. Oh. [laughs] You let all the women in. The stories I can tell.
- 15:32Yeah. [laughs] Thank God we don't have to hear them right now. Stories from the road. [laughs] And I got a- But why is he here?... I got a free, uh, Germanfest ticket. Yeah, why is he here? I don't know why he's here.
- 15:40I invited him. I'm sorry? That's why he's here. Well, that's probably why he's here, but- Uh, before we talk to Cory, uh, a- and we will talk to Cory, don't you, don't you never mind yourself about talking to Cory.
- 15:49[laughs] Yeah. Uh, I do wanna take a moment, and perhaps a moment of, I'm not sure, silence, maybe drunken silence, to acknowledge Big Sexy. Ah, yeah. Mm. Mm-hmm.
- 15:58Who- Oh, I should've brought, I should've brought some damn Jagermeister... who had been on our show 44 times by my count that I actually found. Huh. And, uh, I, I've gotta do a tribute page.
- 16:08I found a bunch of stuff from when we met him over in Michigan, and, um, somehow he expired recently, and I, I don't know the details, but- Yeah... I do know that- He's pretty young. That's sad...
- 16:17yeah, he was, he's, I think he was under 50. Uh, yeah, strangely enough. I think he w- Or, or around 50... oh, a- at this point- Yeah... he was probably about 50, 51 maybe. Yeah. Yeah. 50, 55, somewhere in there.
- 16:27Uh, but- 'Cause I know he was right younger than I was. Yeah. And that kind of blew my hair back at the- You blew your, you, you blew right by 50... I was like, "Dude, man."
- 16:35Uh, I just, he was a v- uh, he was a great guest because he was doing the thing out there, riding Heather the tricycle- He did what he wanted to do...
- 16:42and he, I think, I don't know how many he ticked off, 32 maybe state capitals on his Schwinn tricycle, riding approximately- Mm... 10,000 miles a year on that piece of shit, which I rode. Yeah.
- 16:54And I have no idea- I did too... I also rode- What up?... for like 20 feet and like, "Fuck that." That thing's gonna kill me. Yeah. The only thing I can think of is- I mean, I know you w- would get used to it...
- 17:02you gotta be kind of hammered to ride it. [laughs] Yeah. But it's- It might be-... you know, a weird muscle memory. I don't know... I was also hammered trying to ride it. Did not help.
- 17:09Maybe you were the wrong kind of hammered. [laughs] Possible. Anyway, Big Sexy- Did he Jagermeister? Did you have the Jagermeister? Rest in peace, Big Sexy. Big Sexy- Hey, I gotta get-... you know, a good guy...
- 17:19I gotta get to the store before it closes- Yeah. All right. He was definitely a good guy... to get the Jagermeister. I hope you're riding, uh, Heather up there in heaven. Mm-hmm. And all the Jagermeister, man. Yeah.
- 17:28[laughs] All righty. Oh, Cory. Let's, uh, let's talk about Cory. Let's, let's, let's... So we did allude to the fact that you're bonus checkpoint coordinator/manager of the River West 24, which is coming up in- Yes...
- 17:42about a week, a little over a week. Yeah. It's- It's the last, uh-... week and-... the last full weekend of July... two days. Yeah. It's really- Oh... crunch time now. Yeah. Nine days. Nine days. It's next Friday.
- 17:52Week and two days. Nine days. It's a week from tomorrow. Oh, that's right. [laughs] It's on Tuesday, technically. If, unless I put this up on Wednesday, then it's two days from now, so. Yeah. Um, yeah.
- 18:01Tell us all about what you do for this extremely excellent event. Uh- And then we're gonna match it with what you said last year. Okay. Let's go. We can, we can do that. So, uh- [laughs]...
- 18:13the River West 24, most, uh, listeners are probably somewhat f-... uh, familiar with this event. Uh, 24-hour bike ride, but we wanna get people off their bikes throughout the race, interact with your neighbors.
- 18:25Um, you know, looking at, you know, community-orientated, uh, you know, things of that nature.
- 18:34And, uh, so we have 36 different bonuses where people are gonna be doing all sorts of fun things, uh, educational things, community-based things, et cetera. Is that down from 48 last year? 48 was, uh, two years ago.
- 18:47Oh, okay. Okay, yeah. We, we, I, I was... 48 was too much in my opinion. Sure. That was a lot. Um- Yeah [laughs] I mean- People love doing the bonuses, but- Given that it's 24 hours, that's two an hour. Yeah.
- 18:58That's nuts. But I wanted, I wanted people to get back to, like, riding their bikes, but they really, uh, they really do enjoy the bonuses. Sure. So, so we bumped it up from...
- 19:07Or we, we bumped it up from the 24 to 48 and then we, you know, found the happy medium. Ratchet. Right [laughs]. So, yeah. Ratchet it back a little bit. Sure, yeah. Yeah. So, um, yeah, I'm, I'm excited to do it.
- 19:18And, um, you know, these, the bonuses are always a lot of fun and, you know, hopefully, uh, they are as memorable to the riders as they are, you know, to me just organizing them. Sure. Oh, yeah, yeah. Right on.
- 19:32So, so yeah, we've got some really good ones set up for this year. And you, we can't talk about any of them yet. No. No. There's, there's, they're a secret until the day of the event. Correct. Essentially.
- 19:40Yeah, unless you talk to Mark Peterson, who's gonna tell everybody who will listen what his bonus is. I've been on his case- [laughs]... for, like, two weeks about that.
- 19:46Not, not our buddy Mark Peterson in Utah, but a different Mark Peterson. No, a different- That would be a-... a different Mark Peterson...
- 19:50that would be amazing if he- That would- Yeah, if, like [laughs] We get everybody has to call Mark Peterson in Utah on the phone in Ogden, Utah- And ask him why... and say, "Are you feeling- From the bike shop...
- 19:58are you feeling okay, Mark?" Through the bike shop. Yeah. "Mark, are you doing okay? Are you feeling all right?" [laughs] Well, I- [laughs] Are you feeling- I was made privy to the- It's a Tylenol, just so you know...
- 20:08tattoo location this year, and I explained to him, like, "You can't tell people that." That's what- Yeah. Well, if you wouldn't have taken it...
- 20:11in which case he respo- he responded with- It would- "Well, you're the person that referred me to them." [laughs] So I'm like, "So I guess you already know." Yeah. My... Okay. So.
- 20:24[laughs] Certain pills are imprinted- Yeah... with 334... we're not telling anyone during this podcast... that are a combination- There's always-... of acetaminophen and Tramadol. Okay. That's another one of the 334s.
- 20:32Oh. Well, just- As you're popping pills... popping my Tylenol everywhere. [laughs] There's, there's always, uh, we'll, like, a bonus checkpoint whistleblower, I suppose. [laughs] Um, and, and they're...
- 20:46And somebody'll let me know that, hey, they're putting on their Instagram exactly what's gonna happen at- Sure... and I have to reach out and be like, "Hey, can you just please take that down?"
- 20:57You know, 30 people saw it. I don't know how many of them are in the 24, but- Yeah... um. Or you just see the things of, like- You wanna start it with a gay dance... of soliciting- No...
- 21:05soliciting- No, I try to be a little bit more, more appreciative towards their- Hey, dick face... their volunteering. Could you please remove that? Yeah. Yeah. Well, I mean, like, like soliciting certain materials to
- 21:15make a bonus- Yeah... checkpoint work out without fully spilling beans about what the- We're gonna need a kayak and a-... thing is. I mean, you're probably just like... Yeah, I mean, if you- Right...
- 21:28you know, put the puzzle together if you wanted to. Right. I mean, I've, I've noticed in my doomscrolling of the world [laughs] on occasion going, "Hey, looking in for this," and da, da, da- Doomscrolling...
- 21:39for blah, blah, blah. And I'm like, "Mm, I don't know if you want to be putting that publicly." I feel like we should probably just show our, um, coasters. Shoasters? So there was a lady at one point in the past- Lady...
- 21:53who used to make these, these coasters. These are all street signs from River West. I used to live on Dousman Street, that's why I've got Dousman. Uh, but she was kinda clearing them out at...
- 22:01What was the event at The Gig? Uh, Gig Fest. Gig Fest or something. Oh. Tony's got Locust- Clover's name... 'cause we used to have a shop there. Michael's got Fridley 'cause we're on Fridley right now.
- 22:10Hour, I don't know, w- we used to have a- Fun place to ride... four, we used to have a four unit building on Hour and Booth. Yeah. How's that? It's right around the corner. Locust, I've hung out there many a time. Yep.
- 22:19Right around the corner- But-... from Bill Hart's estate. I- Yeah, down the block. Yeah. Couple, two trees. Two, three houses. Walking into Gig Fest, I was like, "What's going on here?"
- 22:29Which was a River West, uh, crazy ass weekend. And they're like, they have this sign that says- Everywhere there's a sign... it's, well, it's Miller Lite $4- Look and you will see me repeat in my mind...
- 22:41and then, like, eight other taps. And I'm like, "How much are the other taps?" And they're like, "$4." I'm like- Yeah, they had decent beer... "Are you telling me I can get a Lakefront IPA for four bucks?" Yeah.
- 22:54Right on. I'm pretty sure they told you that more than once. They did. 'Cause you were astounded is what you were. I had a couple... That was a fun, fun event. You know?
- 23:03So was, um, I finally got to see the back of Falcon Bowl, the speakeasy in the back of Falcon Bowl. Oh, that place is great. That is so cool. It's called The Nest, Tony. Yeah. The Nest. It's called The Nest. Okay. Yeah.
- 23:15Uh, you should check it out during a show sometime. It's- Yeah. You have a, it's, it's a good scene. Then you gotta see a green short show. Yeah. Yeah, I've been to a couple shows in there. It's awesome.
- 23:21Yeah, it's, it's a good little scene back there. I was actually surprised Tony had never been in there. I'd never been in there. Yeah. 33 years in River West and I've never been in there.
- 23:29We, uh, we used to hold meetings for the River West 24 back there, but we've kind of separated ourselves from that spot. I have no, uh, further details [laughs] No further [laughs] I'm gonna take this beer right here.
- 23:42There you do it. Uh. Right on. I keep asking them to let me hang their access point as a nerd. Yeah. 'Cause I see the access point leaning sideways against the cash register. I'm like- I brought it up last time.
- 23:55That does like- I'm like, "Tony, why is that not hung properly still?" That does, like, no fucking good for people wanting Wi-Fi. I'm like, "Can I pl-" And I message Russ. Yeah. I'm like, "Can I please hang this?
- 24:03I'll do it for free." Yeah. Like, I just, like, this is driving me... And it's been two years- Yeah... that I've been going in there. I'm like, "It's driving me nuts, man." [laughs] As an IT guy, this is really annoying.
- 24:17Like, you don't have any idea- [laughs]... how annoying this is. And finally, Russ met me for a beer at Gig Fest and stuff, so that was fun
- 24:24He might've said Falcon Bowl, and then we went to Gig Fest Yeah, yeah, we did How much were the beers at Gig Fest? Four bucks. Yeah, four. [laughs] Ah, well done, well done, well done, well damn done, son. Four dollars.
- 24:35Uh, speaking of- For a Lake Geneva [laughs] Speaking of places, speaking of places you've hung access points and you went in and took them out of, Spike Brewing.
- 24:44Spike Brewing is a- Did you read, did you read what he's doing now, the founder of Spike Brewing? Yeah. Have you read? Yeah. His, his fire on the boat. His, his fire on the m- fire on the boat.
- 24:53Uh, he's making fire pits for boats. Well, he's not making them, being made in China, but- Yeah, they're... Well, yeah, you're right. He's st- he's- He's selling them...
- 24:59but he's buying the stainless steel from China and- So, like a Solo- Kinda, no... pit? Not, not a, not a f- Um... not a wood fire pit, but a- No... but a, like, a propane-powered pit. Oh. Oh, no.
- 25:10Old Ver- It's wood-fired, sir. Oh. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. It- Oh. If, if you insulate a- The one I saw was wood-fired...
- 25:16if you want to insulate a Solo or whatever- But they may, they may have marks on- I have one of those I've only used twice or thrice. Solos rule, but m- uh- The ones that...
- 25:24Well, they necessitate the airflow be, to make it smokeless, let- allegedly, but whatever. Um, I'm going to explain- It's fire pits for boats... how well this business is by this. With one picture. Yeah.
- 25:37Ben bought himself a Lamborghini. That's how good this business is. Yeah. He sold many, many, many, many, many thousands of them. It's- People are willing- Okay... to put a wood fire on their boat. Yeah.
- 25:51Long as you don't put the- Enough of them- As long as-... to buy a Lamborghini... it's an electric... Unless... An electric boat. Yeah. With all the batteries. I have to write that down. Yeah, that'd be better.
- 25:59Weighing it down so it'll sink. There are not enough electric boats. But then you'll have that fire to call for help- Yeah... when you swim to shore. But yeah, I- I'm gonna tell Steve- Holding on to the fire pit.
- 26:09Is it buoyant? When you're starting a fire 40 miles off shore. Is, is the fire pit- Right, exactly. To pull the- Is the fire pit buoyant? Yeah, boat it. Roast some marshmallows.
- 26:16So when you burn your, your f- Sounds like a- When you burn your boat- It's like a spy thing... your little, your little tugboat- So the big- You burn the Orca down- The big spike sign is for sale?...
- 26:24you can swim back to shore on your fire pit. On s- or I don't know if it's for sale. It's hanging there. I'm betting Steve grabs it. I don't know. What... Who's- It's huge. And that's the other thing.
- 26:31Is that the guy that buys every sign ever made in Milwaukee that has... He's the guy that takes all the old ghost signs. He's gonna need a crane to remove that damn thing. It's heavy. No, no. I helped light it, so.
- 26:40I just... I mean, that's a pretty good pivot. It's not as good as the, uh, the Allbirds, you know, Allbirds Shoes. Yep. That went... Then they're now an AI company somehow. They don't do shoes anymore.
- 26:49They're an AI company. Their stock's been going through the roof. It's crazy. I wish I would've known that. Didn't get, I didn't get the, uh, the memo. Is it the stock corner?
- 26:58'Cause I'm gonna talk about Resolve, which I've made good profits. Ugh. I have great resolve. No. No. No. Yar. No, Tony. Have you hit? No, no, not yet. No. Where's a newspaper?
- 27:07I gotta s- Well, let's, let's talk about, uh- Donk him on the nose. D- we didn't have, we didn't ta- [laughs] I don't think we talked last, uh, show about Wyatt closing down. Yeah, we did. Yeah, that's sad. Did we? Yeah.
- 27:17We did? I think we did. Yeah, very briefly. Well, let's talk about it again. A little bit. Wyatt closing. Yeah. That's too bad. I don't know. It's a shame.
- 27:23I mean, it was a good- This is the guy that made bikes in, in Wisconsin. Alu- full aluminum frame bikes. From- Impressive... from scratch L.A. Cross. L.A. Cross...
- 27:29actually made them here and competed with the big boys on price and everything. Really? And, uh, after- He just stuck around for a few years on that... after 15 years, he said, "Nah, it's just not really working."
- 27:39It's more of a fight now than- Killer bikes. So, so guess what he's doing now? Killer bikes. Guess what he's doing now? Website shit. Bullshit. Website shit. [laughs] I was gonna say, "Work for Trek."
- 27:46He's doing website shit. No, work for Trek. [laughs] Yeah. Fucking... Thank God. I mean- I design for Trek... they broke my will. [laughs] Guess what has no inventory? Website shit. Yeah.
- 27:56Why do something that has a shit ton of inventory? See all this shit? I don't know, Greg. See all this shit here? I don't know, Greg. Why? See all this shit here? Or Sven. It's all going.
- 28:03I'm gonna have the link to my eBay thing, so now there's about 50, 60 things. There's gonna be a couple hundred, three, five, 700 pretty soon, 'cause all this shit has to go. [laughs] I just, I don't know. It just...
- 28:15I, yeah, and it has to go quickly. Sell that shit, people. If I just, if it, if it goes slowly, all it does is pay for this place. If it goes quickly, then I can pay some bills off. There you go. There you go.
- 28:25So- I like it... either send us money via Ko-fi and I'll share it with the boys, or buy some shit and then they don't get none of that money. It's my money. [laughs] My money. [laughs] Legit. Legit.
- 28:35Uh, Corey, we gotta talk about another thing and, uh, that is your, uh, YouTube channel. Yeah. So, um, I got through with...
- 28:44When I finished grad school in January, I, uh, wanted to treat myself to a second Technics turntable. And, uh- So now you have two turntables... so now I've got two turntables. And- And a microphone? And no microphone.
- 28:58Jesus. Um, and, uh, you know, outside of Wiggle Room, it's hard to find spots to spin records and whatever, and then when you can get into Wiggle Room, which is an amazing spot, um- Mm-hmm.
- 29:09So, so you can go in there as a DJ and do your thing? Yeah. Okay. So, so it was just hard for... You know, I, I did Wiggle Room one time and it was great.
- 29:18Um, but, you know, like a Wednesday from 9:00 until 1:00 when you're a teacher isn't really- [laughs]... isn't really, you know, all that appealing.
- 29:27Um, but so I got the second turntable and a mixer and I decided, "You know what? I'm gonna do like hour, like, sets," and, um, and just started posting those on YouTube.
- 29:38And, uh, once there was a little bit of a following, I've started inviting friends over, and, uh, it's called Cream City DJs.
- 29:45And every Monday there's a new set that comes out, and I'm trying to just do like all over the board. So I'm mostly into punk and power pop and ska and whatever. Um, but we've had like- Oh, French Touch- Yeah...
- 29:59dance club DJ sets. Yeah, so, uh- I'm, I'm looking at it. It, it is, uh- Our-... it is Cream City DJs on the YouTube. That's actually the- Yeah... @creamcitydjs. Are, a- are these Technics turntables? Technics, yeah.
- 30:13Technics. Yeah. Um- All 45s deep cuts, punk, hardcore, indie DJ set. Uh, Descendants. All DJ set. [laughs] Well, yeah, there's a lot of good stuff on here. Ska punk, uh, blah, blah, blah. Ramones, nice, nice. Who?
- 30:28Das Ramones R-O-M-A-N-E I believe there's a, a gentleman in the room you're trying to get to, uh, help out [clears throat] with that Yeah. Yeah, we wanna get JK- Yes... on there with his- Definitely...
- 30:38uh, former experience with working with 1021, and, uh, and I know he's got a record collection, and [smacks lips] he can certainly handle the task. So- I'm hoping so.
- 30:49I'm, it's, it- So, uh, we've, we've- It, it's, uh, been a couple decades of rust built up on that, so- We've, we've been in touch, and it's, I mean, it's, for just playing records, one song, swoop, next song, you know, back and forth, um, I mean, it's called Cream City DJs,
- 31:06where it's outside of basically, like, Queen Mab came in and, like, did, like, a real, like, DJ set. I just play a song, and then I- Play a song... play another song, and then I- Right on, right... play another song.
- 31:16Do, can you, I mean, I'm down. I'm just- No, no, and I, and, and I'm not, you know, especially with, like, punk stuff, I'm not trying to match beats per minute to- [laughs]...
- 31:25you know, to, to, like, flow one thing- Oh, yeah, right [laughs]... into another thing. Like, it's just [laughs]...
- 31:29You know, and I, I got a little bit of flack from, from somebody, and I told them that I would take that up at the next staff meeting. [laughs] But, um- Yeah. Send them a picture of this. Yeah.
- 31:39But, uh- [laughs] I don't know. Like, it's, it's been really fun, and, um, and I think it's been, been getting for the most part good, good reviews.
- 31:47Well, you g- you got one extra subscriber today 'cause I was not previously subscribed. Oh, well, thank you. So, hey. All right. I pushed, I pushed the button. Yeah, so we're at, like, 116 or so. Yep. Yep. Yeah.
- 31:56Exactly [laughs]. Yeah. Which is, I mean, it's pretty good for, like, three months. Yeah, yeah. No, I'm, uh, yeah, this is gonna be... I have to [inhales deeply] my last contact with you, I
- 32:09had begun going through my collection. Yeah. And I'm also kind of thinking of the ease of...
- 32:16And then I, uh, uh, dovetailed in my own brain of like, wow, I just turned into, like, John Cusack in High Fidelity going like, "Okay, uh, best number one [laughs] song, side one [laughs]..."
- 32:28[laughs] You know, just to minimize the problem [laughs]... Yeah Funny... of dropping the needle [laughs] Yeah, yeah And I'm like, "Oh [laughs]."
- 32:34So- Yeah, I mean, do it, do it however, uh- I'm working my head a- a- around it. I, I found the 45s I have, which are [laughs] I sent you the picture of what it- Yeah...
- 32:42I can remember, like, Clit Cops or whatever the hell it was [laughs] So two, two weeks ago, uh, Jeremy Prock was recently on your show. I had his son Merritt come in. Right on.
- 32:51And, uh, and he did, like, a whole, like, like, a really great set of, like, with, like, Talking Heads, and then but also mixed in, like, Herbie Hancock. Um- Yeah, I see him there... and, uh, Jim Henson.
- 33:01Yeah, for the, uh, for the, um- Yeah... 24 sign-up- Yeah... he was, he was crushing a lot of Heads.
- 33:07And he, yeah- A lot of Heads, a lot of dub, and I was like- It was- I'm like, "Dude, right on, Mike"- It was the first- "... Sopranico." It was the first time he'd ever done, like, just straight vinyl, though.
- 33:14Did he not? He's always done it, like, uh, like, like digitally. Sure. Yeah. Did, did he see Jerry Harrison at Summerfest? I did not. Well, did he? 'Cause, you know- He-... he should have. I- Jerry was great.
- 33:24It was a good show. All right, here's something interesting, Corey. Uh- Yes... I, I, because I'm a YouTube guy and we got a couple thousand subscribers on the channel and blah, blah, blah- Yeah...
- 33:34I have a thing that shows me about, uh, your channel, and a 9.4 times outlier is your Ramones'- Oh, yeah... DJ set. Yeah. So you have, like, you have, like, 1,200 views of that one. Yep.
- 33:48So it, it's 9.4 times more than your average one. Right. Meaning, if you wanna get more views, if that's a big deal- Do more Ramones... which it's probably not.
- 33:57I know this is probably not about views, but yes [laughs] it would suggest to do more Ramones. More Ramones. Yeah.
- 34:03Well, and, and I, I wanted to do that, so I did The Descendants/All, 'cause that's kind of the same band, just different lead singers. [smacks lips] Um, Descendants are the bigger of the two- Mm-hmm... clearly.
- 34:15But, uh, so I did that, and I... How many views are on that, like- Uh, Descendants, oh- 150... 113. Yeah. No, it's only three weeks ago, too. Yeah. Yeah. So but the...
- 34:24No, I, I knew the Ramones one was, like, the cheat code. Yeah. [laughs] You know? Like, I was like, well...
- 34:29So, um, a couple of those where I had somebody lined up, and then they flaked or something came up, um, they most likely though flaked- Killed... and, um... No, but the, the, that, their time is coming.
- 34:45Um, and [laughs]... [laughs] And so I was like, "Well, I mean, I've got every Ramones album," and I, it's my, one of my favorite bands in the world. Of course. So- I g- I got the, uh, I got the-...
- 34:55threw, threw that together... I got the Live in San Francisco one during Record Store Day. Oh, did you? Yeah. Nice. Yeah. Yeah, I, uh... How's that sound? Pretty good? I, to be fair, have not...
- 35:05I've been g- I bought so many records [laughs] during that, I'm, like, still going through stuff. Yeah. I'm like, "Jesus, somebody's got a problem here." Yeah [laughs]. Look at,
- 35:14look at all the- Every- Look at all the freaking speakers in the corner over there [laughs] so- Yeah, someone's got a problem. Someone's got- Ev- Someone's got a goddamn problem here.
- 35:19I got problems, you could- I got a lot of goddamn problems. Oh- There's worse problems to have... you've just, you just brought in the Pauly- You could be on crack like my neighbor... little Pauly. Yeah.
- 35:26Every, uh, every- I am. They're speakers, Speaker Crack... every Record Store Day has a Ramones release. Yeah.
- 35:33A lot of times it's, um, you know, like demos or rarities or, you know, remastered or what- whatever, live stuff. Um, and so yeah, I, I got [clicks tongue]
- 35:44Leave Home as, like, a remastered or their, was it, like, Sun Studio sessions? So maybe it was, like, kind of demos. Either way, it sounds really good.
- 35:53But, um, yeah, there's so much live Ramones stuff that's available, and the only stuff that I would ever really want to buy, because you get, it's a live and then that's really all you need. [laughs] Um,
- 36:06the, uh, anything that I could find, if they put it out with Richie Ramone playing drums, that's, that's what you want. As a drummer, in case no one knows- Yeah, he's-... you are a drummer... he's the man.
- 36:18So who's the, the main one? Not CCC, JC, JC- So s- no, Dee Dee- Dee Dee... sure, Dee Dee played [laughs] bass, then CJ played bass. Right.
- 36:27Uh, you know, Joey, Johnny, and then the drummers were, uh, Marky, Richie, and Tommy. Tommy was the original drummer, but he didn't even really wanna play drums. He just wanted to produce.
- 36:36I really liked, uh, I really liked how Johnny plays guitar. Mm-hmm. It just, when the- I like how Ziggy played guitar...
- 36:41when, when, when he was, when he was almost past, when he was almost past, and they did the, the sh- the... like, tribute show to him. Yeah. That was great. Yeah. And just how much he influenced so many people.
- 36:53Just- There is a Ramones tribute band, um, that has CJ Ramone, but it also has Billy Joe Armstrong from Green Day. Oh, wow. Tim Arm- Tim Armstrong from Rancid. Oh, I heard about that. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 37:06And, uh, Travis Barker from Blink-182 playing drums, and they're called The Cretin Family. Yep, yep, yep. Um, they're playing- Yeah, that's awesome...
- 37:12I want to say they're playing in the fucking cemetery where Joey and Johnny are buried. Yes. That sounds like a- Oh, my- In California. Yeah.
- 37:20I, I can corroborate- And, uh- I can corroborate that you're paraphrasing- And it is-... that same thing... it's crazy that- I, yes... they're from New York, they're buried in California, whatever.
- 37:29[clears throat] Um, but yeah. And so I would assume that they're probably just gonna do the, the self-titled first album from start to finish, but it'd be rad as hell if they threw in- Yeah...
- 37:44like, you know, just like, uh, like B sides and whatever. Um, the Ramones set that we're, that I did for the DJ thing, it does not have, like, Blitzkrieg Bob or, you know, uh- Sheena is a punk rocker... right.
- 37:57It, it doesn't have, like, the, the quote unquote radio hits. Right. Um, Pet Sematary would be the- Pet Sematary... the closest one. Uh- How- How- Howling at the Moon? One of the greatest songs ever written.
- 38:09Na, na, na, na. Yeah. Na, na- Yeah, that-... na, na, na, na. Oh, let's see if you get, get flanked on that one. Yeah. [laughs] No, it's not... That's the next one. I had perfect pitch on that too.
- 38:20How- Howling at the Moon or Bonzo Goes to Bitburg are probably... I mean, those are two of the greatest songs ever written, so. So the second-best band in the world, The Clash, and Strummer Fest. Oh.
- 38:33Strummer Fest is coming up September 12th. Oh, I can't wait. Yes. Summer, Strummer Fest- Oh, f-... always comes around right on my birthday- It's, it's the second-best band ever... birthday weekend.
- 38:41Uh, fill me in on this. I'm unfamiliar. Well, Strummer- Oh... Strummer Fest is a bunch of bands doing Clash- Covers... and Joe Strummer stuff- Okay...
- 38:49that's at Club Garibaldi, and it is a fundraiser for the Milwaukee Public School- Oh... Music Program. Yep. It was at Club Garibaldi the last two years. Oh, well, that's, that's a- It was at Quarters once too.
- 38:59It's been, it's been other places. Yeah, it's been around. But it's... They've got enough people that they can't- It's fucking great... they can't do Quarters anymore. Right. Yeah. But, like, The Quills.
- 39:07The Quills, um- But... And it's not, like, it's not, like, word for word. It's not cover. They're- It's their version- Their versions... of that song. It's really cool. Yeah. Oh, no.
- 39:14That, that does seem like- The Guerrilla Ghost... their, their stuff is very different... that was very interesting. Everybody's interpretation is [smacks lips] awesome. Yeah. It is awesome. No matter what.
- 39:22Well worth it. Even shit I've not... Even bands I'm like, "Nah, I'm not the biggest fan-" But you're killing it... "but I'm going to..." Yeah, oh, yeah, that worked out nicely. Yep. You know, good take.
- 39:32What, what day is that? I'm putting it in my calendar right now. It is September 20th. 20th. No, no, wait. Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope. 12th. 12th. 12th. September 20th is Chris's slow roll.
- 39:39'Cause it comes around, around my birthday time. Yeah, September 12th at Club Garibaldi. Between that and, and Polka Riot's gonna be that same- Strummer Fest... weekend probably too. Yep. Yeah. It's a good, good thing.
- 39:49Yeah, it's, um, uh, it's, it's Scotty, drummer Scotty K- Callan, Callan Burton... he does, he does the, the organizing and all that shit. Tichler's hardcore involved in it, blah, blah.
- 39:59And what time does that normally start at? Like- 7:00-ish... 7:00. No. 6:00, 5:00, 4:00, 3:00, 8:00. Noon. Noon. No. No. No. Mid-afternoon. I'm pretty sure by September 12th we can figure it out. Well, you know.
- 40:11Well, I'll- Mid-afternoon... I'll put it down for 2:00. 'Cause there's- I've got three podcasts that day... 'cause I think, I think last year there were nine bands maybe. Yeah, it's good. I'm- And they're each- Yeah...
- 40:20and they each only do- Probably, like, three songs... two songs... two to, two to four songs. Yeah. Like, uh, Frogwater a couple years ago did a set, and they're Irish kind of- It was good...
- 40:30violin and strummy guitar people. Okay. And it was, like, pretty awesome. Yeah. I guess it is 7:00. It's a good... It's a definitely good- I'm sorry. 7:00. I'm sorry in the PM. 7:00. 7:00 PM. We're good.
- 40:41I really thought it'd be a little earlier. So then is it- I'm really sorry... is it, is it all just Joe Strummer written songs? Or Clash or, or Clash- Or- Clash. They'll fill in... uh, Clash adjacent.
- 40:48So there's, so there's, like, Mick Jones songs? Yeah. Yep. Yeah. Oh, yes. Yes. It's not that damn, you know, fully- Regimented. Yeah. And I think- 'Cause Mick Jones was the better songwriter... I'm not sure.
- 40:57Which was funny too, 'cause I, I can't remember which outfit it was that was performing. It was... A- and some of the outfits, at times, are just people from other bands together. Sure.
- 41:09And they just throw a name to it going, "Yeah." Oh, of course. Yeah, yeah. Kind of, kind of, kind of like All Messed Up. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. In a way. Very much so. But it w- they did, uh, Spanish Bombs- Nice...

- 42:01And Molly and I had a very delicious dinner while they were watching the Cup. Was it hosted in France then? No, it was not actually. Okay. Okay.
- 42:12And we end up going back to our hotel room, and not being sportsy people, went to sleep, and suddenly the city erupted. And Molly's like, "What's going on?" I'm like, "I'm pretty sure France just won the World Cup."
- 42:28[laughs] In twen- Ta-da. In 20- Did you go party?... in 2000? Well, do you remember when the Packers won the Super Bowl, and they were like- It's too high remember. Well, you probably do. I know.
- 42:37Dude- People were walking down the street like- You don't even, you don't even have any Packers paraphernalia... raise the roof. People were walking down the street- Oh, there you go... banging on pans and stuff.
- 42:44I'm like- And the tests... it was the exact same thing- Yeah... but in Paris. And I'm like, "Oh, my God. Yeah. "This city is on fire." To answer your question directly, no, I went back to bed. Oh. Oh, you freaking Stein.

- 43:30Greenfield called The Peeb Cave. It's some house that had shows for, like, three years. Oh, fair. Uh- Kinda like a Heath House... three, four years... sort of an idea. N- yeah, but way cleaner and nicer and whatever.
- 43:39Um- [laughs] No dead rats around there. Yeah, and, uh, and we're playing this, like, festival and, like, Billy Dreamer- Right on... is playing, and, um, we're playing on that Saturday, so- Oh, so quite a full summer...
- 43:52yeah. Quite a full summer. Yeah, I- my summer's just been- Then back to school, bitch... fucking bonkers. Yeah, basically. I did catch 52, and I'm gonna, by the end of it, 54 World Cup matches though. Nice.

- 44:21I think it's been, been out for a minute. Yeah. Um- Well, thanks to our fucking glorious president, he fucked everything up. Yeah. And karma came back to kick him right in his ass. Right. He's got a really tiny penis.
- 44:29Did you hear that? Yeah. Mushroom. I don't even know if I kicked it, he can find it. Belgium, uh, absolutely used that as billboard material- Oh, yeah... and just took it to him. I want to see them do the dance. Yeah.
- 44:38That was so good. It was good. [laughs] That, that... Yes, yes, yes, yes. And on that note, hey, everybody. Thanks, Corey, for being on the show. Hey, thanks for having me back.
