A heartbreaking tragedy struck early Sunday on I-45 near The Woodlands, Texas, when 24-year-old Deputy Erika Serrato was fatally struck by a commercial truck while investigating a DWI crash. The truck, hauling a trailer, collided with Deputy Serrato and two other patrol cars with emergency lights on, killing her instantly.
