- 0:03Speaker 1: This is a podcast called twenty.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Five Whistles talking for farm and they all wear a whistle.
- 0:10Speaker 3: Yeah, stupid, but what would you exact?
- 0:13Speaker 1: It's a podcast called twenty five Whistles.
- 0:16Speaker 3: Twenty five whistle. We're back?
- 0:22Speaker 4: Yeah, I gotta be honest. I didn't know how to
- 0:24Speaker 4: interrupt you guys or not?
- 0:26Speaker 1: Why would you together?
- 0:26Speaker 4: So used to singing together, you know, I didn't want
- 0:28Speaker 4: to give it eneration idiots, Yeah, the duo that we are, Yeah,
- 0:31Speaker 4: we did, though, give a crap.
- 0:34Speaker 2: We're back for another season. We had a press conference
- 0:37Speaker 2: earlier and we announced it and look at us.
- 0:40Speaker 1: We're back.
- 0:40Speaker 3: We're back, baby, We're back.
- 0:44Speaker 2: I thought what we would do for the first episode
- 0:46Speaker 2: is we haven't been back in like, I don't know,
- 0:48Speaker 2: month and a half, two months. Everybody has like a
- 0:51Speaker 2: version of a personal sports thing that's happened to them
- 0:54Speaker 2: over the past month and a half or so. I mean,
- 0:57Speaker 2: I can tell all of you yours, but I don't
- 0:59Speaker 2: tell to Okay, Eddie, I'll go with you.
- 1:02Speaker 3: Now, what's mine? Zeke? Oh god, what did we do?
- 1:06Speaker 4: Speaking of back?
- 1:07Speaker 3: Yeah, Zike's back. Go ahead. He says he's still gotta
- 1:10Speaker 3: chase that ring. He's got some more chasing to do.
- 1:13Speaker 1: How do you fill the Cowboys have brought Zeke back?
- 1:16Speaker 3: Let me tell you, dude, I got the chance to
- 1:18Speaker 3: When the draft happened, I thought that we were gonna
- 1:20Speaker 3: go after Jonathan Brooks, who's the Texas running back, and
- 1:24Speaker 3: he went by. We didn't get him. We traded down
- 1:27Speaker 3: for a offensive lineman. Great, right, awesome. I figured at
- 1:31Speaker 3: some point in the draft we would get a running back.
- 1:33Speaker 3: We never got a freaking running back and something and
- 1:36Speaker 3: what are we gonna do? They got Zeke? I think
- 1:40Speaker 3: me and the rest of the Cowboys nation is like,
- 1:41Speaker 3: what the what are we doing?
- 1:43Speaker 1: I think he still got a little tread on that
- 1:44Speaker 1: tire though, And be honest.
- 1:45Speaker 3: With you, dude, what are we doing?
- 1:46Speaker 1: We're not gonna use him as a one.
- 1:48Speaker 3: They'll use him. So who's our one?
- 1:51Speaker 2: Well, I think is a one be I mean, I
- 1:53Speaker 2: think he'll get a decent amount of carries, and he
- 1:55Speaker 2: will get twelve carries a game, ten carries a game.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Deuce Vaughan, he ain't gonna carry a whole bun, but yeah,
- 2:00Speaker 2: he'll make some cares. But I mean, Deuce Vaughan is
- 2:01Speaker 2: what Pollard kind of was before Pollard tried to be
- 2:04Speaker 2: the feature back Ricodowdell.
- 2:06Speaker 3: Okay, I mean, dude, that's what that's what's.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Gonna happen though.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Yeah. But also a running back you can almost grab
- 2:12Speaker 2: a free like a free agent and get lucky.
- 2:14Speaker 4: Yeah, somebody will get cut in camp or something like
- 2:16Speaker 4: that too.
- 2:17Speaker 3: Yeah, because we've learned only hope.
- 2:20Speaker 2: The running back position. If it's just about running, there
- 2:23Speaker 2: are a lot of guys that can do that pretty well.
- 2:25Speaker 1: It's like pickleball. A lot of guys can do it
- 2:27Speaker 1: pretty well.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Hard to be elite, hard to be Christian McCaffrey, but
- 2:29Speaker 2: he can also catch and play out of the backfield.
- 2:31Speaker 2: I think the Cowboy's gonna be fine, Zeke. I think
- 2:34Speaker 2: they'll be fine matching it up, Zeke. I think duce Vaughn,
- 2:38Speaker 2: they'll grab somebody off the wire.
- 2:40Speaker 3: I mean, we did end up getting a lot of
- 2:41Speaker 3: off O Lineman, which means like, hey, you really don't
- 2:44Speaker 3: need to be a great runner. You got line an
- 2:47Speaker 3: o line to separate the the boys in the.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Middle, but you need to be a good runner at least.
- 2:51Speaker 3: Right, So, I don't know. I wasn't feeling great about it.
- 2:53Speaker 3: I was shocked. I think we were all kind of
- 2:55Speaker 3: shocked by it.
- 2:56Speaker 1: I don't hate it as a non Cowboy fan. I'm
- 2:58Speaker 1: not a no you are. I'm not a not a
- 2:59Speaker 1: cow Boy. I used to not be a Cowboy fan.
- 3:02Speaker 3: But you're a Cowboys fan now I am.
- 3:04Speaker 2: I root for the Cowboys, but I'm not a Cowboys fan,
- 3:06Speaker 2: so I can look at it still with perspective.
- 3:08Speaker 1: I think it's fine.
- 3:09Speaker 3: I think he's fine, but you are a Cowboys fan
- 3:12Speaker 3: because like Jerry Jones is your dude now.
- 3:14Speaker 2: But Jerry Jones has taking me from being a non
- 3:17Speaker 2: Cowboys fan.
- 3:18Speaker 3: Two.
- 3:19Speaker 1: I mean, I'm not a Cowboys fan, but I can
- 3:20Speaker 1: root for them.
- 3:21Speaker 3: Okay, I'll take it.
- 3:22Speaker 2: You know, I'm kind of in the middle. I do
- 3:23Speaker 2: root for the Cowboys, but they burned me twice.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Last year.
- 3:25Speaker 2: M Eddie told me to bet one thousand bucks on
- 3:28Speaker 2: Dak to be the MVP, so I did.
- 3:29Speaker 3: Man shocking, But I thought last year that was finally
- 3:32Speaker 3: gonna be your year.
- 3:32Speaker 1: I thought that was the year. But it's Bobby's this year.
- 3:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Early with Kevin, I would say his big sports catch
- 3:38Speaker 2: up is just what he was able to go do
- 3:40Speaker 2: in Boston.
- 3:41Speaker 4: I had the best week ever ever.
- 3:43Speaker 1: I mean, SpongeBob said.
- 3:44Speaker 2: It best best week, gver, he's apt best day. But
- 3:49Speaker 2: I guess it was kind of almost a day, but
- 3:51Speaker 2: over three days it was.
- 3:52Speaker 4: I mean, technically it was four three games, but the
- 3:55Speaker 4: four days, I mean the day I didn't go to
- 3:57Speaker 4: a game, I still went to Fenway and got a
- 3:59Speaker 4: private tour. Was the point you have to go behind the.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Monster, walk us through it, walk us through it.
- 4:03Speaker 4: So Wednesday I get there. Wednesday, game five of the
- 4:05Speaker 4: first round Heat Celtics. I go to that game. Heart
- 4:08Speaker 4: Celtics fans blow them out. Yeah, diehard Celtics fan. I
- 4:10Speaker 4: went with eight nine of my family members. It was awesome.
- 4:13Speaker 4: They blow him out by thirty from the get go.
- 4:16Speaker 4: It was great. There's a party on the street after.
- 4:18Speaker 4: You would think we won the freaking champions.
- 4:19Speaker 3: Did you like to blow out?
- 4:22Speaker 4: I did? It was nice. Like we've talked about this.
- 4:25Speaker 2: I like a blowout. I don't have a blowout just
- 4:27Speaker 2: because I want to win more than I do. Want
- 4:28Speaker 2: to be entertaining.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Yeah, I think I'd guarantee me entertaining game and we win.
- 4:32Speaker 2: I'd sign up for that, but you can't exactly. So
- 4:34Speaker 2: I want to guaranteed blowout, which you can't really do
- 4:35Speaker 2: that either, but yeah, so I'm okay with that, and
- 4:38Speaker 2: so that went really well. And then we go to
- 4:39Speaker 2: the Red Sox game Thursday afternoon, same family members had
- 4:43Speaker 2: great seats behind home plate to the right a little bit.
- 4:45Speaker 4: What the and then for those I don't even know,
- 4:49Speaker 4: my uncle bought him. I don't know, Yeah, uncle, Yeah,
- 4:53Speaker 4: I just sewed up. But I didn't even think I
- 4:54Speaker 4: was gonna be able to go.
- 4:55Speaker 2: What organized crimes he part of? That's why I think
- 4:57Speaker 2: everybody in Boston, Yeah, what's he into?
- 5:01Speaker 4: Cousin Vinnie exactly right. Go to the Red Sox game.
- 5:05Speaker 4: They lose three to one, but it was still awesome,
- 5:07Speaker 4: great beautiful day. It was like seventy five and Sonny
- 5:09Speaker 4: who they played the Giants. What was cool though, is
- 5:12Speaker 4: yas the grandson of Carl Yastremsky. He hit a home
- 5:15Speaker 4: run for the Giants, So that's kind of cool. Right,
- 5:18Speaker 4: So they lost, It's all good, go out, have a
- 5:20Speaker 4: good Thursday night hang out, and then Friday we go
- 5:22Speaker 4: get a private tour. Shout out to the Bowl one
- 5:24Speaker 4: on one seven in Boston and the Red Sox for
- 5:27Speaker 4: giving us that private tour. Her name is Amanda.
- 5:29Speaker 3: She was awesome.
- 5:30Speaker 4: If you guys ever go up there, I recommend doing it.
- 5:33Speaker 3: The front to the stadium.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Amanda, please, yeah, Amanda. Kickoff Kevin? No, no, Kevin kickoff? Yeah,
- 5:43Speaker 2: he said to call Okay, so what you get there?
- 5:45Speaker 2: And there's no game, So there's no game going on Friday.
- 5:47Speaker 2: They were traveling that day and we meet Amanda in
- 5:51Speaker 2: a private little area because they're doing those tours, you
- 5:53Speaker 2: know what, people with microphones you pay for and a
- 5:55Speaker 2: big group and all that.
- 5:55Speaker 4: We didn't get to do all that. She took us
- 5:57Speaker 4: on the field right away and we walk on there.
- 6:00Speaker 4: You can't go on the field because they're prepping for graduation.
- 6:02Speaker 4: That weekend was at Fenway, so they're prepping for all
- 6:05Speaker 4: that and getting the field ready and whatnot, so we
- 6:07Speaker 4: couldn't go on the on the field, but we were like,
- 6:09Speaker 4: you know where the warning track is behind the home
- 6:13Speaker 4: plate and all that, and then we go on the
- 6:14Speaker 4: dugout hang out in there. We got to call the bullpen.
- 6:17Speaker 4: We're like, can we pick up this phone and call
- 6:19Speaker 4: the bullpen?
- 6:20Speaker 3: Somebody answer, But it was ringing.
- 6:21Speaker 4: You could hear it ringing out in the bullpen. You
- 6:24Speaker 4: have to dial a number and just know you just
- 6:26Speaker 4: literally picking it up and it just starts ringing And
- 6:27Speaker 4: then I'm looking out there, maybe like a worker, because
- 6:29Speaker 4: there were workers out there, like maybe one of them
- 6:31Speaker 4: pick them up.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Or that goes you see Callege SCRAMs going to Hell?
- 6:34Speaker 3: Yeah, or Babe you don't think Babe goes back to
- 6:38Speaker 3: Fenway once in a while. Not really, Okay, he lives
- 6:40Speaker 3: at Yankee.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Yeah, they traded him for like a play money for
- 6:43Speaker 1: a play.
- 6:44Speaker 4: He's done.
- 6:44Speaker 2: So what did you do after the tour? So did
- 6:47Speaker 2: you getting the Monster? By the way, Yeah, we went
- 6:48Speaker 2: in the monster.
- 6:49Speaker 4: She opened the door and the Monster like what you
- 6:51Speaker 4: saw Manny do for years, go back and there's all
- 6:53Speaker 4: these signatures. They don't a lot of people to sign
- 6:55Speaker 4: it anymore, which kind of sucks because people like started
- 6:57Speaker 4: writing over you know, like Manny's signature. Like it's just
- 7:00Speaker 4: like you got Joe Schmoe from Hey Josh, I know
- 7:03Speaker 4: wherever nobody likes Josh. So did all that got to
- 7:05Speaker 4: go on the seats of the Monster? That did that?
- 7:07Speaker 4: Whole tour is like two hours and it was great.
- 7:09Speaker 3: And then what's the scoreboard?
- 7:11Speaker 5: Like?
- 7:12Speaker 3: Because you I saw you sticking your head out of
- 7:13Speaker 3: the scoreboard.
- 7:14Speaker 4: It's so hard. It's metal. It's like what no, So
- 7:17Speaker 4: if you see somebody run into that and there they
- 7:19Speaker 4: go down, like that's legit. Oh wow, like you knock
- 7:22Speaker 4: on it. I mean it's straight metal, which is wid.
- 7:25Speaker 1: I guess I thought it was would too, yeah, or
- 7:27Speaker 1: like what did patting?
- 7:29Speaker 4: Yeah, it would and it has no give at all.
- 7:31Speaker 4: But the numbers were back there, so you got the
- 7:33Speaker 4: hold up numbers and like you know, they go out
- 7:35Speaker 4: there and change them all out and stuff. So that
- 7:36Speaker 4: was cool.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Did you and your unc hold up six and nine
- 7:38Speaker 1: and be like no, why did I think of that?
- 7:43Speaker 2: So you did basketball, you did baseball, you did the tour,
- 7:46Speaker 2: you did hockey, and then hockey.
- 7:48Speaker 4: Yeah, obviously the Bruins played Thursday night on the road
- 7:52Speaker 4: and we were like, okay, well if they lose this,
- 7:54Speaker 4: and they played Game seven, like maybe we should want
- 7:56Speaker 4: them to lose a little bit, right, And they did.
- 7:58Speaker 4: They lost, and then so the next morning, Friday morning,
- 8:01Speaker 4: we woke up and we're like, dude, we gotta go.
- 8:03Speaker 3: We have to.
- 8:04Speaker 4: So we bought tickets that morning Friday morning.
- 8:06Speaker 1: You root it for your team to lose.
- 8:07Speaker 3: That's crazy.
- 8:09Speaker 4: Yes and no sound it was like fifty to fifty
- 8:11Speaker 4: because I was like a big hockey fan, A big
- 8:13Speaker 4: hockey fan. No, it's the least kind of the four
- 8:15Speaker 4: major sports. Definitely the least.
- 8:17Speaker 2: As long as you don't claim to be a diehard
- 8:18Speaker 2: Bruins fan, because no one would ever root for their
- 8:20Speaker 2: team to lose.
- 8:20Speaker 1: I now I co sign no, I'm fine to go
- 8:23Speaker 1: to the game.
- 8:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:23Speaker 4: And I was with my cousin, who's a die hard
- 8:25Speaker 4: Bruins fan, watching that game, kind of like, oh, so, anyways,
- 8:29Speaker 4: we get tickets Friday morning and we're like, all right,
- 8:31Speaker 4: we're gonna go, and then we go to a graduation
- 8:33Speaker 4: party Saturday or than the day for my cousin, and
- 8:35Speaker 4: then that night we go to the game. There's six
- 8:37Speaker 4: of us that go to the game. I mean, that
- 8:39Speaker 4: was the most intense thing I've ever been too, because
- 8:41Speaker 4: it was one to one. It was zero zero for
- 8:43Speaker 4: the most part, and then one to one in the
- 8:45Speaker 4: second and then in the third it's just like everyone
- 8:47Speaker 4: is just on the edge of their seat. It's just quiet,
- 8:49Speaker 4: you know, they're trying to get into the game. Quiet, quiet, quiet,
- 8:53Speaker 4: And then they go to overtime, and it's like, oh, man,
- 8:55Speaker 4: here we go. This is it right here? And in
- 8:58Speaker 4: overtime I have an fashion Actually, don't tell me you left? No,
- 9:03Speaker 4: heck no, but why do people do that? Between the
- 9:06Speaker 4: third period and overtime, I go down because I was
- 9:08Speaker 4: up top, and I go downstairs to go to the
- 9:10Speaker 4: bathroom because the lines are moving faster down there, and
- 9:13Speaker 4: I'm going to the bathroom and overtime it's just about
- 9:15Speaker 4: to start. And then I get done and I start
- 9:17Speaker 4: running back up the stairs. I get there's what two
- 9:21Speaker 4: and a half minutes into overtime. I can hear the
- 9:22Speaker 4: tension getting tighter and tighter. You could just hear it,
- 9:24Speaker 4: and I'm like, oh shoot. So I start running up
- 9:26Speaker 4: the stairs. I get to the top of the stair
- 9:29Speaker 4: and they score a goal. You missed a goal, So
- 9:31Speaker 4: technically I didn't see it, okay, but I was right there.
- 9:35Speaker 4: You were there, and I still got to the top
- 9:37Speaker 4: of the stairs of you know the walkway in.
- 9:39Speaker 2: The stats, I was gonna be like, I kidnapped lady, right, No, no, no,
- 9:42Speaker 2: that's not here.
- 9:43Speaker 3: I stole beer.
- 9:45Speaker 4: So they won Game seven overtime, went and partied after
- 9:47Speaker 4: in the streets and it was freaking it was amazing.
- 9:49Speaker 1: So EDI's got Cowboys, Kevin's got Boston.
- 9:53Speaker 3: I got a little real quick. The more you know
- 9:55Speaker 3: on Kevin's trip, because he was leaving the first day
- 9:58Speaker 3: from work, straight from workAs I went straight the airport
- 10:00Speaker 3: and I should land there running time to get to
- 10:02Speaker 3: the game. What do I do with my bags? I said, bro,
- 10:05Speaker 3: Like most venues in America, you can take your bag
- 10:08Speaker 3: with you and you can just take it to the
- 10:11Speaker 3: office and they store it there for you.
- 10:12Speaker 1: I didn't know that.
- 10:13Speaker 3: He didn't either, and he didn't believe me. He's like,
- 10:15Speaker 3: you're a liar.
- 10:16Speaker 2: I said, trust me money joke though if it was false,
- 10:19Speaker 2: was it true?
- 10:20Speaker 4: It was true?
- 10:21Speaker 1: Really?
- 10:22Speaker 4: Yeah? I didn't do it. Luckily I got there in time.
- 10:24Speaker 4: I was fine. I still got to go to there
- 10:25Speaker 4: Airbnb and drop my stuff off, but it was true,
- 10:28Speaker 4: they will hold.
- 10:28Speaker 3: It for you.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Mike d Big, Texas Longhorn fan.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Yeah, we went to Austin and one of my buddies
- 10:35Speaker 2: works in the facility for the program and he was like,
- 10:40Speaker 2: let's hang out and I was like, we're on the
- 10:41Speaker 2: way and he set us up and Mike, do you
- 10:43Speaker 2: want to take it?
- 10:44Speaker 1: From there.
- 10:44Speaker 6: It was amazing, like to see all the things they
- 10:46Speaker 6: have there, it was like being in a candy store.
- 10:48Speaker 1: It's the best facility I've ever seen it.
- 10:50Speaker 6: And you just keep going and there's more, and there's more,
- 10:52Speaker 6: and there's more. You think we're going to reach the
- 10:54Speaker 6: end at some point, and it just keeps on going.
- 10:56Speaker 2: They have more money. It is the nicest, most technologically advanced,
- 11:03Speaker 2: most well thought out facility I've ever seen.
- 11:05Speaker 6: There was a zombie apocalypse, I would go and live
- 11:07Speaker 6: there because they have.
- 11:07Speaker 2: Everything, multiple floats, salt float machines.
- 11:11Speaker 4: So if you're like an kid getting recruited, how do
- 11:13Speaker 4: you say not to that.
- 11:14Speaker 2: Well, we saw a kid that was in the portal
- 11:18Speaker 2: and he was like, had the pads on stuff and
- 11:20Speaker 2: he was walking out and I was like, what, uh, let's.
- 11:22Speaker 3: Go, And he didn't ignore its completely.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Yeah, they have screens on everything. They have their own doctor.
- 11:28Speaker 1: The pharmacy.
- 11:29Speaker 6: You can go there and get prescribed medication.
- 11:31Speaker 1: It's wild.
- 11:32Speaker 3: Hey, Kevin. They have this like walk through car wash
- 11:35Speaker 3: for players. You just walk through it and it shower you.
- 11:40Speaker 2: So you can get in the hot or the cold
- 11:41Speaker 2: plunge or and there's big screen. I hate to say
- 11:45Speaker 2: this because I do not like my whole life. I
- 11:49Speaker 2: was taught how the Evil Orange Empire was terrible and
- 11:53Speaker 2: so as a rival or somebody that I hate the Longhorns.
- 11:59Speaker 1: I love the people because I have a lot of
- 12:01Speaker 1: friends that are Longhorns.
- 12:02Speaker 2: But from being an Arkansas fan, you grow up hating
- 12:04Speaker 2: Texas and I left going down.
- 12:06Speaker 1: I'm jealous, man, they have so much money.
- 12:09Speaker 3: You are playing basketball in their game.
- 12:10Speaker 1: We got Yeah, Taylor was who took us around, so
- 12:13Speaker 1: big shout out to Taylor, and I mean we took
- 12:18Speaker 1: They had like two different snack rooms.
- 12:20Speaker 3: It was why it was just crazy snacks.
- 12:23Speaker 2: They had infra red beds full, like multiple infrared beds
- 12:25Speaker 2: at nap pods.
- 12:26Speaker 4: I mean, you guys saw the Caroline. Well no, that
- 12:28Speaker 4: wasn't there, true, I guess, but nothing even comes close.
- 12:31Speaker 3: No, nothing, but we've seen nothing comes close.
- 12:33Speaker 2: And yeah, and I've been through a couple of facilities
- 12:36Speaker 2: even aside from our show, Nothing comes close.
- 12:39Speaker 3: Wild man. I was kind of a little field. I
- 12:42Speaker 3: was a nerd. I took pictures of Quinn you weres
- 12:45Speaker 3: locker and and the man did Yeah, you guys almost
- 12:50Speaker 3: left me.
- 12:50Speaker 2: No, we didn't almost leave we were leaving you because
- 12:52Speaker 2: we couldn't find you. I didn't know you were sniffing
- 12:54Speaker 2: arch Man's.
- 12:55Speaker 3: Josh Armaniel like that's his locker. And I met Jonathan Brooks.
- 13:00Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I did see that picture.
- 13:01Speaker 3: He'd be big, No, not really, not a huge dude.
- 13:04Speaker 3: But he was just hanging out in the training room
- 13:06Speaker 3: and I was like, what are you doing here? Dude?
- 13:07Speaker 3: Shouldn't you be in Carolina. He's like, nah, I'll be
- 13:09Speaker 3: there later.
- 13:09Speaker 1: But it went just like that.
- 13:10Speaker 3: I was like, yeah, just like just like that. And
- 13:13Speaker 3: I said, I said, dude, why don't you go to
- 13:15Speaker 3: the Cowboys' Like I would have gone to the Cowboys.
- 13:18Speaker 4: I would have gone. They wouldn't recruit me.
- 13:21Speaker 3: That was our conversation.
- 13:22Speaker 2: Man, Mine would be very Arkansas related with you know,
- 13:26Speaker 2: we were still doing the show whenever they had hired
- 13:28Speaker 2: or they were about to hire Cal, or they were
- 13:29Speaker 2: hiring Cal. I don't know, but I don't think cow
- 13:31Speaker 2: was officially hadn't done the press conference yet when we
- 13:33Speaker 2: had done the show, And since then, I've made some
- 13:36Speaker 2: very tough decisions regarding coach Cal in Arkansas and my
- 13:41Speaker 2: love for the Razorbacks, which is my very favorite thing
- 13:43Speaker 2: in the whole wide world. I've decided I'm not going
- 13:47Speaker 2: to fly too close to the sun. I'm going to
- 13:49Speaker 2: try to have no relationship at all and just enjoy
- 13:51Speaker 2: as a fan. I'm afraid I won't like him. I
- 13:54Speaker 2: don't know that I won't. And I've been told you'll
- 13:56Speaker 2: like them or you will. I'm afraid I won't. And
- 13:59Speaker 2: I don't want to not like him because I love
- 14:01Speaker 2: Arkansas more than anything else.
- 14:03Speaker 3: And this is very much by choice, because you could
- 14:06Speaker 3: easily meet him have a relationship.
- 14:09Speaker 1: Yeah, they've offered him for the show.
- 14:11Speaker 3: This show. Yeah, what's wrong with you? Man?
- 14:14Speaker 1: Come on right now?
- 14:15Speaker 2: I am going to choose to not Icarus myself.
- 14:20Speaker 4: Are you play hard to get?
- 14:21Speaker 3: No, that's what it is.
- 14:23Speaker 2: It is not I don't want I had a great
- 14:25Speaker 2: relationship with us. I have a good relationship with Pittman.
- 14:30Speaker 2: I don't want to feel different about it because I
- 14:35Speaker 2: possibly have a negative personal feeling.
- 14:38Speaker 3: So just because he was Kentucky for so long, No.
- 14:41Speaker 1: That's not it.
- 14:42Speaker 2: I would take anybody awesome, Okay, but I just some
- 14:45Speaker 2: people are like, I don't know if.
- 14:46Speaker 1: You guys are gonna I don't. I don't want to
- 14:48Speaker 1: not vibe. I care too much about it not to
- 14:51Speaker 1: worry about that.
- 14:52Speaker 2: So I'll keep giving him my money and I keep
- 14:54Speaker 2: watching routing, but I am not going to try to
- 14:57Speaker 2: forge any sort of relationship.
- 14:58Speaker 1: That's been a tough psistion for me to have.
- 15:00Speaker 4: Is that just something that's gonna come naturally? Are you
- 15:02Speaker 4: gonna give like a timeline?
- 15:04Speaker 2: No timeline could never happen, And I'd be fine with
- 15:06Speaker 2: that as long as I can keep loving the razorbacks,
- 15:07Speaker 2: I'm good. I just don't want anything to get in
- 15:11Speaker 2: the way.
- 15:12Speaker 3: Can I ask? Can I ask you this without getting mad?
- 15:15Speaker 1: I don't know. I can't. Why would I agree?
- 15:17Speaker 3: That's what my wife always says too, And I'm like,
- 15:18Speaker 3: I don't know. Tell me what it is. First, go ahead?
- 15:20Speaker 3: How how far do you think you're gonna go? Next year?
- 15:24Speaker 3: With cal.
- 15:26Speaker 1: E lead eight Final four, he's doing something this year.
- 15:30Speaker 2: I follow every I've been watching every step, but he's
- 15:31Speaker 2: doing something different than he's done with the Kentucky classes.
- 15:33Speaker 2: And I think he learned the hard way was he's
- 15:35Speaker 2: not just taking all freshman kids. He's got a few
- 15:38Speaker 2: five star like it's a crazy recruiting class with the
- 15:40Speaker 2: number one portal class like number two overall recruiting class
- 15:43Speaker 2: all combined behind Duke.
- 15:45Speaker 1: And we don't have a roster fall.
- 15:46Speaker 3: Yet, but you're filling it upretty quick.
- 15:49Speaker 1: I think we have like eight people.
- 15:49Speaker 3: Every time I checked, there's another person.
- 15:51Speaker 2: But we have like multiple older kids. Or the kid
- 15:55Speaker 2: from Tennessee transferred the number one from Florida Atlantic the
- 15:58Speaker 2: number one trend.
- 15:59Speaker 3: So we have the big guy from Kentucky.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Yeah, but he only played a little bits of freshman
- 16:03Speaker 2: because he couldn't enroll. But it's not all freshmen all
- 16:06Speaker 2: the time, like what has been typical one and done's
- 16:09Speaker 2: He now is going to the portal, spending money and
- 16:11Speaker 2: getting kids that are sophomores or juniors to come over,
- 16:13Speaker 2: and I think that's gonna make a big difference.
- 16:16Speaker 1: Did our boy leave, Yes, he went to which One?
- 16:19Speaker 1: Which One?
- 16:20Speaker 3: Battle? Kayla? He went to zach Zaga?
- 16:23Speaker 1: Really yes, random, isn't uh in?
- 16:27Speaker 2: Divo went to Oklahoma State. Oh I didn't know that,
- 16:30Speaker 2: but yeah, nobody stayed.
- 16:31Speaker 3: Is he a senior?
- 16:32Speaker 2: They're both you will be a senior Divo will Calef. Yes,
- 16:34Speaker 2: he has another year or two, but I can't wait.
- 16:37Speaker 2: It's gonna be awesome. I just want to continue to
- 16:40Speaker 2: I can't wait.
- 16:41Speaker 4: Hey, what about the guy that like was a recruit
- 16:44Speaker 4: ten years ago football or something, he went and played
- 16:46Speaker 4: major League baseball?
- 16:47Speaker 1: Yeah, we have him now you see that?
- 16:48Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 16:49Speaker 1: Wait, no, he's who was a four star recruit wide receiver.
- 16:52Speaker 2: He went and played Major League baseball with like the Angels,
- 16:55Speaker 2: and now he's walking on at Arkansas next year.
- 16:59Speaker 4: Ten years ago.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Yeah really when he started playing.
- 17:02Speaker 3: And how old is he?
- 17:03Speaker 1: Let's see, he'd probably be like twenty eight.
- 17:06Speaker 3: Yeah, that's all. That's a movie.
- 17:07Speaker 2: I mean, think about Chris Winki though at Florida State
- 17:09Speaker 2: like he did that was twenty.
- 17:11Speaker 3: Eight, Yeah, twenty seven, twenty eight, that's crazy.
- 17:13Speaker 2: Well a couple of those quarterback guys did that want
- 17:15Speaker 2: to play ball and then came over play college football.
- 17:17Speaker 1: So that's my personal real Do you have anything?
- 17:19Speaker 8: Yeah? What about Oh well, I was going to ask
- 17:21Speaker 8: you about coach cal like, what about like a just
- 17:23Speaker 8: like a general introduction.
- 17:25Speaker 2: I'm sure if i'm there, I will, but I am
- 17:27Speaker 2: not pursuing a relationship. Gotcha single and happy right now,
- 17:33Speaker 2: living your best life.
- 17:35Speaker 1: And I'm watching recruiting. I'm rooting for every bit of it.
- 17:38Speaker 3: It's pretty cool to see him.
- 17:39Speaker 2: It's really cool and I but I don't want it
- 17:40Speaker 2: not to be cool. I got you, and I know
- 17:44Speaker 2: my last relationship with must was really good. You know,
- 17:46Speaker 2: I just want to jump to another one.
- 17:47Speaker 4: Oh are you still hurt?
- 17:48Speaker 7: Now?
- 17:48Speaker 1: I'm not hurt. That's what.
- 17:51Speaker 3: I mean. Have you talked to mus about this?
- 17:53Speaker 1: I have no.
- 17:54Speaker 4: You know you need closure.
- 17:55Speaker 1: It's easier for me just not to talk to him
- 17:56Speaker 1: right now.
- 17:57Speaker 4: I must want you to move on.
- 17:58Speaker 3: I think so too. Good. Good point, Mike, Hey, you
- 18:01Speaker 3: know what Reid does have a story though?
- 18:03Speaker 1: Go ahead?
- 18:04Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 18:05Speaker 8: Oh well, I was gonna say I don't have like
- 18:07Speaker 8: an actual sports game thing, but.
- 18:09Speaker 1: You read to do go ahead, and I did.
- 18:11Speaker 8: I did get that cool Muhammad Ali card with this
- 18:15Speaker 8: dual signed muhammadad talking about it, Joe Fraser, you busted that.
- 18:18Speaker 2: No, I don't think we did talk about so we
- 18:20Speaker 2: did dorm dudes in my house and read. I was like, dude, read,
- 18:24Speaker 2: don't buy that because we spent four hundred bucks on
- 18:27Speaker 2: this Mhammad Ali box.
- 18:28Speaker 1: I was like, read, it's gonna be hard to get
- 18:31Speaker 1: your money back. And Reid's like, I think I can
- 18:33Speaker 1: do it.
- 18:34Speaker 3: I like Ali.
- 18:36Speaker 1: And he busts it and it's a dual sign Joe
- 18:39Speaker 1: Fraser Muhammad Ali and take it from there out.
- 18:42Speaker 8: Well, I'm definitely gonna sell it. And so there's a
- 18:46Speaker 8: there's a dude right now offering four thousand for it?
- 18:49Speaker 3: What are we waiting on?
- 18:50Speaker 1: I mean I was just.
- 18:51Speaker 8: At my Disney trip, so I couldn't send it off.
- 18:54Speaker 1: I couldn't send it off for NICKI with Micky Mickey
- 18:57Speaker 1: didn't have any postage exactly.
- 18:59Speaker 3: Mickey's said, sting like a butterfly.
- 19:01Speaker 4: What are you hoping to get for it? More?
- 19:04Speaker 2: No?
- 19:04Speaker 8: I mean four thousand is great, Yet it for one card?
- 19:07Speaker 2: You. I had somebody offer me six for the JFK
- 19:11Speaker 2: and you paid how much for jams? I didn't take it, No, no, no,
- 19:13Speaker 2: I bought it and part of that that that tops box?
- 19:16Speaker 3: Oh yeah yeah? How much was that well all together?
- 19:19Speaker 5: Oh?
- 19:19Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I remember that that's expensive?
- 19:21Speaker 1: Yeah what twenty two?
- 19:22Speaker 3: Yeah? Twenty grand?
- 19:24Speaker 4: What card?
- 19:25Speaker 1: Though? The Sosa card? I sold any bear for twelve hundred?
- 19:28Speaker 4: Nice?
- 19:29Speaker 1: The I got a few that.
- 19:32Speaker 3: The Sosa cars, one with a bear with the come
- 19:33Speaker 3: on one.
- 19:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I got a rookie up now that I think
- 19:36Speaker 2: it's going to go for a thousand of that card box.
- 19:39Speaker 1: I'm not going to sell the JFK.
- 19:41Speaker 3: Really, you still got a lot of good ones left.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Yeah. I sent some off to be graded, and they're
- 19:47Speaker 1: worth more as soon as they get graded.
- 19:49Speaker 3: Okay, well you want to got a commercial and now
- 19:51Speaker 3: to commercial?
- 19:52Speaker 1: Now all right, we're back. Actually we never stopped.
- 19:59Speaker 2: We just took a one second break and I have
- 20:00Speaker 2: to do this press conference in like fifteen minutes saying
- 20:02Speaker 2: that the show's coming back on my Instagram.
- 20:05Speaker 1: So we'll do like fifteen minutes.
- 20:07Speaker 2: We're also going to talk to Oklahoma State, which, by
- 20:09Speaker 2: the way, their softball team drink too in the country
- 20:11Speaker 2: right now, number two, And so we went and did
- 20:14Speaker 2: too much access with them. Holy crap. It was a
- 20:17Speaker 2: weird time because they had beat ou Patty Gasso family,
- 20:22Speaker 2: DJ's mom, who I know really well, Hey Christmas, Thanksgiving,
- 20:26Speaker 2: we're always together, Amelia.
- 20:28Speaker 3: Man.
- 20:29Speaker 2: They lost to Oklahoma State, the first series they've lost
- 20:31Speaker 2: in like two or three years. And the Oklahomasate episode
- 20:34Speaker 2: went up right after they lost.
- 20:36Speaker 3: Why would you let that happen?
- 20:37Speaker 1: But we didn't time it any weird way. It was
- 20:41Speaker 1: just an order. We didn't always planned. Yeah, So she
- 20:44Speaker 1: mad at you.
- 20:46Speaker 2: I got no text at all, so she may not know,
- 20:51Speaker 2: or she may just want to kill me, or she
- 20:53Speaker 2: may be irritated. They lost Oklahoma State, the rival that
- 20:55Speaker 2: is their main rival, Texas probably main rival.
- 20:58Speaker 1: That's Olklahoma State right there.
- 21:00Speaker 2: But I would think Oklahoma State hates Oklahoma more than
- 21:02Speaker 2: Oklahoma hates Oklahoma State. But Oklahoma State is still but
- 21:05Speaker 2: Oklahoma still.
- 21:05Speaker 1: Hates Oklahoma State, but not as much. It's like Arkansas
- 21:07Speaker 1: hates Texas.
- 21:08Speaker 2: Texas doesn't like Arkansas, but they don't hate Arkansas as
- 21:10Speaker 2: much as Arkansas hates them.
- 21:11Speaker 3: Same with the Aggies.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Yeah, although now I don't know A and them starting
- 21:15Speaker 2: to make a bunch of money went to the SEC.
- 21:17Speaker 1: Why do you think Texas came around?
- 21:19Speaker 2: So regardless, let's do the tittle tattles.
- 21:25Speaker 1: His name the tittle tattle.
- 21:32Speaker 4: All right? Following the Tom Brady roast, if you could
- 21:35Speaker 4: roast any current or former athlete, who would it be? Well,
- 21:40Speaker 4: first of all, did you watch the roast? I watched
- 21:42Speaker 4: a lot of clips, so I feel like I've seen it.
- 21:45Speaker 4: I feel like I've seen every section of it. But no,
- 21:47Speaker 4: I didn't watch it live, So then I I didn't
- 21:48Speaker 4: feel like anyed to go watch it again.
- 21:49Speaker 1: I'd watched clips.
- 21:50Speaker 3: Did you see the comedian that did the Dana the
- 21:54Speaker 3: Dana what one group? Brazilian?
- 21:58Speaker 4: I didn't see that out of a person.
- 22:02Speaker 3: I don't know who that comedian was, but.
- 22:04Speaker 4: It was Andrew Schultz.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Oh yeah, oh yeah, I know Andrew from Charlot Mane.
- 22:07Speaker 3: Yeah you do, like you know him?
- 22:09Speaker 1: No, yeah, from Charlemne. He's Charlemann's a good friend.
- 22:11Speaker 3: He was really funny.
- 22:12Speaker 1: So I think current athlete Derek Jeter will be funny
- 22:16Speaker 1: because he's, you know, Christine Derek Jeter.
- 22:18Speaker 2: But also he had so many chicks back in the day.
- 22:21Speaker 2: There's a lot of jokes about that about you know,
- 22:24Speaker 2: him gifting the balls to girls but being the yank
- 22:28Speaker 2: you know.
- 22:28Speaker 1: I think Jeter would be a fun one to do
- 22:30Speaker 1: and he'd be a good sport about it.
- 22:31Speaker 2: It seemed like a super nice guy I met him.
- 22:34Speaker 2: I think like Pete Rose would get brutal and then
- 22:40Speaker 2: back in history, I don't know, those guys just didn't
- 22:44Speaker 2: know much about it, Like Babe Ruth went pretty hard,
- 22:47Speaker 2: but I guess we didn't know a bunch about him
- 22:48Speaker 2: because it wasn't like they had TMZ. But I think
- 22:50Speaker 2: Jeter would be fun, and I think Pete Rose would
- 22:53Speaker 2: be brutal, but that's so sportsy with Pete Rose. One, Like,
- 22:57Speaker 2: I don't know that Tom Brady's a pop culture icon. Yeah,
- 23:00Speaker 2: who would you say? Mine would be a rod just
- 23:04Speaker 2: because I'd love to just think that would mean yeah, that.
- 23:06Speaker 4: Would be like a personal thing for me. Nobody likes him,
- 23:08Speaker 4: right yeah, right now, Okay, I'm not the only one, now, Eddie, what.
- 23:13Speaker 1: Comes to mind for you?
- 23:14Speaker 3: Well, I was gonna say OJ, but he's dead, he
- 23:16Speaker 3: got right, he's.
- 23:16Speaker 1: Rousted right now, you know, I mean, hell, what's his name?
- 23:23Speaker 4: Jeff Ross came out in the outfit? Did you see that?
- 23:25Speaker 4: He came out in an OJ like jersey and the
- 23:27Speaker 4: blood all over it?
- 23:29Speaker 1: All right?
- 23:30Speaker 7: What else you got?
- 23:31Speaker 5: All right?
- 23:31Speaker 4: There's a lot of talk going around about NFL and
- 23:33Speaker 4: NBA players playing each other's sports. So if you could
- 23:35Speaker 4: pick one NBA player to play in the NFL and
- 23:38Speaker 4: vice versa NFL in the NBA, who would they be?
- 23:40Speaker 2: So I'm gonna remove Lebron although he was a really
- 23:43Speaker 2: good high school player. A lot of THO guys played
- 23:44Speaker 2: multiple sports and we're great at it.
- 23:46Speaker 1: But Lebron's a.
- 23:47Speaker 2: Little too old, and he's the easy answer to play
- 23:48Speaker 2: tight in a wide receiver. But Ludo or in Oklahoma City, Oh,
- 23:53Speaker 2: like that's he's a bulldog man. He's he can his
- 23:56Speaker 2: body would be able to sustain the hits. And i'd
- 24:00Speaker 2: sort's size. What is he probably six ' five six?
- 24:04Speaker 2: I mean he is a defensive lockdown guy and he's jacked,
- 24:08Speaker 2: So lou Dort to play.
- 24:09Speaker 1: But think about lou Dort.
- 24:11Speaker 2: Let's say six y five. Kevin's had to tell me
- 24:13Speaker 2: in the NBA looks short, but you're a six five
- 24:15Speaker 2: wide receiver. You're freaking Calvin Johnson with that body.
- 24:18Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Yeah, So I'd probably take off the top of my
- 24:21Speaker 2: head like a lou Dort to play wide receiver because
- 24:25Speaker 2: he's lean, mean, like he goes, what do you got?
- 24:29Speaker 4: Six four two?
- 24:30Speaker 2: Imagine that wore. Yeah, So lou Dort's my quick answer there.
- 24:34Speaker 2: And if I were going to take an NFL player.
- 24:37Speaker 2: The problem with the NFL and Austin Rivers has him.
- 24:39Speaker 2: I think he's right.
- 24:42Speaker 1: Because in football, you need.
- 24:43Speaker 2: Different bodies to play different positions, and a lot of
- 24:46Speaker 2: those guys couldn't play in the NBA because they're just
- 24:48Speaker 2: not tall enough.
- 24:48Speaker 1: Regardless, they're just not tall enough.
- 24:50Speaker 2: Very few NFL guys are tall on playing the NBA
- 24:52Speaker 2: because think about the shorter NBA guys six two sixty three,
- 24:54Speaker 2: that's a pretty big NFL player.
- 24:56Speaker 1: That's normal. If a quarterback is six three, you're like,
- 24:59Speaker 1: that's good. So eyes, And.
- 25:03Speaker 2: If I were going to take an NFL player to
- 25:06Speaker 2: play basketball, we did doort. No, no, we did basketball
- 25:10Speaker 2: and football.
- 25:11Speaker 1: But who who would be tall.
- 25:13Speaker 3: Enough to play basketball?
- 25:15Speaker 1: Because even.
- 25:18Speaker 3: The tall guys Megatron.
- 25:20Speaker 1: But he's not he didn't play, right, ye, current player,
- 25:23Speaker 1: current player athletically.
- 25:25Speaker 2: Like you'd even say, like a DeShawn Jackson doesn't play,
- 25:28Speaker 2: But I think of like super athletic football players guard. Yeah,
- 25:33Speaker 2: that's my point when it comes to them switching sports
- 25:35Speaker 2: like that that I don't think there are a lot
- 25:38Speaker 2: of NFL guys that could. I think there are some
- 25:39Speaker 2: NBA guys that could because you need one, you need
- 25:42Speaker 2: height to play in the NBA.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Big people always win.
- 25:45Speaker 3: I got mine, go ahead. I'm gonna stick with Oklahoma City.
- 25:47Speaker 3: I'm gonna take chet Holgrim, but I'm going to use
- 25:50Speaker 3: him only on Hill Mary's. Oh they'll break him though, amazing.
- 26:01Speaker 2: I just don't know who I would take from football
- 26:02Speaker 2: to go over to basketball because who's got the height?
- 26:08Speaker 3: But but again I think Mahomes.
- 26:10Speaker 4: Well, did you ever see Cooper Dejine his highlights?
- 26:14Speaker 1: You ever seen Mahomes high school basketball?
- 26:16Speaker 3: So really good the other day.
- 26:19Speaker 2: That's the point with this is that you can't take
- 26:21Speaker 2: NBA guys. Also, there are five players on the court
- 26:25Speaker 2: in an NBA NBA team at one time. NFL there's
- 26:28Speaker 2: twenty two. Sure, so those even those numbers start to
- 26:31Speaker 2: cloud up what players can do. What You have a
- 26:33Speaker 2: lot more options to go over to the NFL and
- 26:35Speaker 2: play as an elite athlete because you can find a
- 26:37Speaker 2: position that.
- 26:37Speaker 1: Works for you.
- 26:38Speaker 3: That's you got five and Tyreek handle.
- 26:41Speaker 1: I would imagine Tarrek.
- 26:42Speaker 3: If I do anything Tyreek can handle, I'll take him.
- 26:45Speaker 3: He will fly down the court here.
- 26:47Speaker 1: Yeah, he's not tall? Was he five to ten?
- 26:49Speaker 3: Five eleven?
- 26:49Speaker 4: A layup?
- 26:50Speaker 3: Dude?
- 26:50Speaker 2: Good?
- 26:51Speaker 1: That's it all right? Next question.
- 26:54Speaker 4: After taking a commanding two zero lead against Denver, is
- 26:57Speaker 4: Minnesota now your favorite to win it all?
- 27:00Speaker 2: I still wouldn't count Denver out. What but Minnesota did
- 27:03Speaker 2: win the second game and they didn't have their full team.
- 27:06Speaker 3: No, dude, Rudy was Outaby.
- 27:09Speaker 2: Minnesota looks defensively, Minnesota, it looks like those mid nineties
- 27:14Speaker 2: Knicks type teams.
- 27:16Speaker 1: Like they swallow you. The Celtics are still the betting
- 27:20Speaker 1: favorite DraftKings Celtics plus they.
- 27:22Speaker 3: Are one hundred.
- 27:24Speaker 2: But I like the matchups because of Minnesota and Okay,
- 27:28Speaker 2: see play. I would take Minnesota over Oklahoma City, but
- 27:31Speaker 2: they're so good, dude, Oklahoma City, but they're very young young.
- 27:34Speaker 2: But also also I'm talking about matchups like Chet Rudy
- 27:38Speaker 2: go Bear. I think you take go Beert defensively because
- 27:42Speaker 2: he's gonna stop you. So I like that matchup like
- 27:45Speaker 2: I like Minnesota Dallas matchup as well. I like the
- 27:50Speaker 2: Minnesota versus Boston matchup without Porzingis. You bring Porzingis in,
- 27:54Speaker 2: it's a whole different story.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Is he gonna play?
- 27:56Speaker 4: Give him my calf?
- 27:59Speaker 1: What you have, baby count YEP, give it to them.
- 28:01Speaker 3: You're gonna give them your crazy.
- 28:04Speaker 4: There's no update, there's the original. He's gonna miss significant time.
- 28:08Speaker 1: Yeah. So if I were going to.
- 28:11Speaker 2: Bet a team right now better future, I'd bet Denver
- 28:14Speaker 2: because you get great odds on that right now. Yeah.
- 28:16Speaker 2: Plus twelve hundred, and of all the teams that I
- 28:18Speaker 2: think could probably beat the Timberwolves from the West, it
- 28:21Speaker 2: would be Denver. But I still don't think they will.
- 28:24Speaker 2: But I would put the money at plus twelve hundred
- 28:26Speaker 2: on Denver because I don't think.
- 28:28Speaker 3: They're over I agree, where where are the Knicks.
- 28:31Speaker 1: At plus thousand? Like fourth?
- 28:34Speaker 3: That's not bad?
- 28:35Speaker 2: I mean the Knicks, they brought you to defensive that's
- 28:38Speaker 2: what they do. They beat the crap out of you.
- 28:39Speaker 2: They play forty eight minutes, they don't come out of
- 28:41Speaker 2: the freaking game. I go Celtics and t Wolves, So
- 28:45Speaker 2: just like the odds are, it's a cheap answer, but
- 28:47Speaker 2: I'd still do that overall.
- 28:48Speaker 1: But t Wolves haven't proven it yet. But man, they
- 28:50Speaker 1: look awesome. They look amazing, but they're one injury away
- 28:53Speaker 1: from not being amazing anymore. Yeah, and most teams are.
- 28:56Speaker 2: However, I think if like one of the OKC guys
- 28:59Speaker 2: went down, I think they still managed to play pretty well.
- 29:01Speaker 2: I think if one of the Dallas guys went down,
- 29:03Speaker 2: that wasn't Kyrie or Luca. But if you lose Aunt
- 29:08Speaker 2: or you lose Gobert, I don't know that team feels
- 29:11Speaker 2: like it's the total sum of all the parts, Jade.
- 29:14Speaker 2: All those guys like have such important roles. But it's
- 29:17Speaker 2: super cool. I bought an aunt rookie when the playoffs
- 29:21Speaker 2: were starting.
- 29:22Speaker 1: I play like four hund and fifty bucks for one.
- 29:24Speaker 1: I bet you I could flip it. Now.
- 29:27Speaker 3: Now's the time?
- 29:27Speaker 1: Absolutely no, Now, it's not the time.
- 29:29Speaker 3: Now's the time.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Now's not the time.
- 29:31Speaker 3: When is the time?
- 29:32Speaker 7: Not? Hell?
- 29:33Speaker 1: Flip it?
- 29:34Speaker 3: Baby? All right?
- 29:36Speaker 1: Give me one more last one?
- 29:38Speaker 4: With both teams undefeated so far, who's been more impressive
- 29:41Speaker 4: the Thunder the Timberwolves.
- 29:42Speaker 2: Timberwolves have been more impressive. We've seen them, They've been
- 29:45Speaker 2: highlighted way more. And I've watched, combined with the two
- 29:49Speaker 2: timber one games, about three quarters of a game. I
- 29:51Speaker 2: haven't watched any full Game one. One of the things reader,
- 29:54Speaker 2: I heeart. I was watching a little bit of it
- 29:55Speaker 2: on my phone. That was game two or Game one,
- 29:59Speaker 2: that's Game one one. Yeah, watched a little bit of that,
- 30:01Speaker 2: watch a lot.
- 30:01Speaker 1: Of game too. I feel like the Thunder have him
- 30:05Speaker 1: been featured like in good spots?
- 30:07Speaker 3: I agree?
- 30:07Speaker 1: Am I wrong?
- 30:08Speaker 5: No?
- 30:08Speaker 2: I have?
- 30:09Speaker 4: I don't think I've watched one minute of their games.
- 30:11Speaker 1: I've watched some clips. Yeah, and maybe and I have Max.
- 30:14Speaker 2: It's when I've watched Max sometimes on the big front screen,
- 30:17Speaker 2: like yesterday the Knicks that it was the next play yesterday, right, yeah,
- 30:20Speaker 2: and it was like Nicks and Pacers. But I would
- 30:24Speaker 2: say the Timberwolves because we've seen them and they put
- 30:26Speaker 2: the Suns down high profile and now being possibly the
- 30:29Speaker 2: new face of the NBA if they are able to win.
- 30:31Speaker 1: This thing, he will be that's pretty cool. Yeah. So,
- 30:34Speaker 1: but the thunder are so young.
- 30:36Speaker 2: They had like one guy over like age twenty five
- 30:38Speaker 2: that scored a point in the last series. One guy
- 30:41Speaker 2: over age twenty five or twenty six, some weird stat.
- 30:44Speaker 2: Everybody else is so young. They have Gordon Hayward, don't
- 30:46Speaker 2: they They do they do. I don't even on the
- 30:48Speaker 2: average he doesn't play. It wasn't him, but he doesn't
- 30:50Speaker 2: even play that much.
- 30:51Speaker 1: Yeah, So there you go. That's the tittle Tattle, thank
- 30:54Speaker 1: you his name ever? The Tittle Tattle.
- 31:06Speaker 2: Are We gonna do an interview with coach Kenny Guyski,
- 31:08Speaker 2: Oklahoma state softball coach, and they're number two in the
- 31:11Speaker 2: country right this minute.
- 31:11Speaker 3: That's awesome.
- 31:12Speaker 1: It's wild crazy.
- 31:13Speaker 2: So I think they were gonna be like I remember
- 31:16Speaker 2: like thirteenth or fourteenthen we interviewed them, but knew they'd
- 31:18Speaker 2: be good.
- 31:19Speaker 1: But so here we go. Coach Kenny Guyski, coach I
- 31:23Speaker 1: was reading about and you can correct me if I'm wrong,
- 31:25Speaker 1: but there's like a mental health retreat that you do
- 31:27Speaker 1: with your players? Is it before every season? What exactly
- 31:31Speaker 1: is that and why is that important to you?
- 31:33Speaker 5: It's just something that we do in the fall, and
- 31:35Speaker 5: then we do it for our post season watch party
- 31:39Speaker 5: as well, just to get our kids away from normal life,
- 31:43Speaker 5: cell phones and just kind of just be together. I
- 31:47Speaker 5: think that's the best thing about what that does. It
- 31:50Speaker 5: just kind of lets us focus on us and we
- 31:53Speaker 5: have a blast. We go to Broken Bow Lake, we
- 31:55Speaker 5: have some cabins there that we rent, some amazing homes,
- 31:59Speaker 5: and we just have a blast.
- 32:01Speaker 7: We act like we kind of own them, and you know,
- 32:03Speaker 7: it kind of feels good.
- 32:04Speaker 1: And what do you feel that does for the team
- 32:07Speaker 1: as far as when the season comes back around and
- 32:09Speaker 1: these athletes are playing together.
- 32:11Speaker 5: I think what we've always talked about here is we
- 32:13Speaker 5: want to create these moments in time, these memories that
- 32:17Speaker 5: our kids can always go back to you know when
- 32:20Speaker 5: you're in these sometimes we make these games too much.
- 32:25Speaker 5: And I think when we have these other moments like
- 32:28Speaker 5: we try to have here of just having fun. I
- 32:32Speaker 5: think that's the theme of this thing. We love to
- 32:34Speaker 5: have fun here and it's just creates those moments in
- 32:40Speaker 5: time that our girls can go back to when things
- 32:42Speaker 5: are hard, and I think it gives our staff a
- 32:45Speaker 5: chance to bond, It gives our kids a chance to
- 32:48Speaker 5: be away from girlfriend's boyfriends.
- 32:51Speaker 7: Whatever it is, it's a distraction and lets it's just
- 32:55Speaker 7: focus on us.
- 32:57Speaker 2: You come from a baseball background of playing and being
- 33:00Speaker 2: parts of teams outside of even as a player, and
- 33:03Speaker 2: I guess I do too a little bit, but not
- 33:04Speaker 2: as much as you. But softball is so much more
- 33:05Speaker 2: fun to me to watch in the college the college
- 33:08Speaker 2: area because of again how much fun it is that
- 33:11Speaker 2: everybody's having on the.
- 33:12Speaker 1: Field and in the dugouts. Are there any rules or
- 33:15Speaker 1: parameters that you set, like you can only do so
- 33:17Speaker 1: many cheers. You can't say cheers with bad words.
- 33:20Speaker 2: Like because we have rules on me with everything I do,
- 33:23Speaker 2: because again it's it's it always feels positive, like women's
- 33:27Speaker 2: college softball such a positive feeling sport. What are the
- 33:30Speaker 2: rules you have for what they can do out there
- 33:32Speaker 2: when it comes to having fun? I just I mean, honestly,
- 33:35Speaker 2: the only rule is let's keep it about us. I
- 33:38Speaker 2: mean I don't I don't really care. There's some that
- 33:41Speaker 2: are like nails on a chalkboard at times. I'm just
- 33:45Speaker 2: like chance or individual voices.
- 33:48Speaker 7: Okay. You know some people can speak.
- 33:51Speaker 5: Well and you're like, yeah, she sounds good, and others
- 33:55Speaker 5: are like, man, I wish she'd just kind of play,
- 33:57Speaker 5: you know what I mean.
- 33:58Speaker 1: So you have to sing about yourself though you can't
- 34:00Speaker 1: do We need a picture, not a belly at sure,
- 34:02Speaker 1: because that's that's that's that's a good one. Yeah, but
- 34:04Speaker 1: that is like the other picture.
- 34:05Speaker 3: Yeah, that's old school.
- 34:06Speaker 1: But it has to be about positive.
- 34:08Speaker 5: Keep it about our kids, right, I mean, just keep
- 34:10Speaker 5: it about us having fun. I think it does bring
- 34:13Speaker 5: us some energy. I will tell you that there are
- 34:15Speaker 5: schools that don't like the way that we play, the
- 34:19Speaker 5: way we chant, the way we cheer. There are schools
- 34:21Speaker 5: that hate it.
- 34:22Speaker 7: It is what it is. I'm sorry.
- 34:24Speaker 5: I'm not gonna apologize. We are going to do it
- 34:27Speaker 5: our way. We're gonna have a blast. It's never meant
- 34:30Speaker 5: to be disrespectful to anyone. But I'm not gonna let
- 34:35Speaker 5: anybody tell us how to have fun.
- 34:37Speaker 1: This is gonna be a hard question. Put you on
- 34:39Speaker 1: the spot. But what's your favorite of all the chance?
- 34:41Speaker 1: Like right now you can only hear one the whole game.
- 34:46Speaker 7: I I'll tell you what. It's not our chance.
- 34:48Speaker 5: It's when they when they get onto second base and
- 34:51Speaker 5: they hit a double. There's always a move for everything,
- 34:55Speaker 5: and there's a move that they hit a triple.
- 34:58Speaker 7: And so I like those? Or did I like chance?
- 35:01Speaker 1: Who does the move the person on the base?
- 35:02Speaker 7: Yeah, so if they hit a double, they have a
- 35:04Speaker 7: certain move.
- 35:05Speaker 1: Do you know the move I do?
- 35:09Speaker 7: I was just gonna stare them down and tell you.
- 35:11Speaker 7: I'll tell you got it. Got it like crack up
- 35:16Speaker 7: and it's hilarious. I mean, I'm sure I didn't do
- 35:18Speaker 7: it right, but whatever you did, you did it.
- 35:20Speaker 1: I'm gonna be honest. You did that and I liked it.
- 35:23Speaker 3: What's the bubble gum situation? I mean, is it like
- 35:26Speaker 3: when season starts like we got fertilizer, we got grass,
- 35:28Speaker 3: We've got plenty of plenty of bubble gum. How much
- 35:30Speaker 3: bubblegum do you have like in in here, we.
- 35:32Speaker 7: Have a lot. I chew a lot.
- 35:34Speaker 5: I chew about I chew ice cubes, and I chew
- 35:38Speaker 5: about four at a time. I'm a bubble guy. It's
- 35:41Speaker 5: it blows the best bubbles, for sure.
- 35:44Speaker 1: I don't see any bubble gum. Have you seen bubble
- 35:46Speaker 1: gum in here?
- 35:46Speaker 3: No?
- 35:47Speaker 7: I have not. But what if I were like, we
- 35:51Speaker 7: want skull, then we'll get skull.
- 35:54Speaker 3: That's what I'm talking about.
- 35:56Speaker 1: Like, universally, every girl said we wanted we want a
- 35:59Speaker 1: big we just want to do it.
- 36:00Speaker 7: Basket of skull.
- 36:01Speaker 1: You'd make it happen. Copenhagen, that's well or Copenhagen. Whatever.
- 36:04Speaker 1: Puts the ring on your back pocket. Talk about the
- 36:06Speaker 1: team this year. What's what's the ceiling in your eyes?
- 36:08Speaker 7: It's high.
- 36:10Speaker 5: You know, we went in to this year with a
- 36:13Speaker 5: little bit of unknown for the first time in a while,
- 36:16Speaker 5: with a lot of new young kids, some transfers and
- 36:21Speaker 5: some returning kids. I mean, we've had some great success
- 36:24Speaker 5: the last four years. We've been right there, and you know,
- 36:28Speaker 5: we had some unknown, but we've gotten off to a
- 36:30Speaker 5: great star played, played a great schedule, and I think
- 36:33Speaker 5: we're we're probably exceeding a lot of expectations outside of here.
- 36:37Speaker 5: I don't know that we're exceeding them in inset of her,
- 36:40Speaker 5: but I think a lot of people thought we were
- 36:42Speaker 5: gonna maybe have a down year with.
- 36:44Speaker 7: Who we lost, and I mean, we picked up right
- 36:47Speaker 7: where we've left off. So it's been cool.
- 36:49Speaker 5: It's been cool to watch these new new kids embrace
- 36:53Speaker 5: our culture, our health, our whatever you want to call
- 36:56Speaker 5: the fantasy words. We call it the cowgirl way. You
- 37:00Speaker 5: can kind of see the sciences in here, and we
- 37:02Speaker 5: call it. And we we signified by that by a
- 37:05Speaker 5: thing called rep It's relentless excellence and passion. And we
- 37:10Speaker 5: try to live by that and we try to coach
- 37:13Speaker 5: to that, try to recruit those type of kids. And
- 37:17Speaker 5: these guys are just picked this thing up and just
- 37:20Speaker 5: keep rolling.
- 37:21Speaker 1: What's your pitch to recruits?
- 37:22Speaker 2: If there's they're down to three schools, they're down to
- 37:24Speaker 2: three it's Arkansas, Oklahoma, State, and Oklahoma. Obviously they want
- 37:27Speaker 2: to stay, you know, in somewhat the area.
- 37:29Speaker 1: Three good programs. Why do they come here?
- 37:31Speaker 5: You come here because of the people. You come here
- 37:34Speaker 5: because it's a forever thing. It's not just a four
- 37:37Speaker 5: year thing. It's a forever thing. And I think when
- 37:41Speaker 5: you see if you're if you're able to stay here
- 37:43Speaker 5: for a long enough time, you'll see a lot lot
- 37:45Speaker 5: of our returning kids or just keep coming back. I've
- 37:48Speaker 5: got a whole office full of my former players in
- 37:51Speaker 5: society here that are now coaching here or doing their
- 37:55Speaker 5: masters here. And you know, we're not the shiniest thing
- 37:59Speaker 5: on the market, you know, there there there's a lot
- 38:02Speaker 5: of bright lights and Austin and some of these other
- 38:06Speaker 5: towns that we recruit recruit against.
- 38:08Speaker 7: But at the end of the day, kids want to win.
- 38:13Speaker 5: Kids want to be able to be them, And I
- 38:16Speaker 5: think we do as good a job as anybody in
- 38:18Speaker 5: the country of letting our kids be who they won't
- 38:21Speaker 5: want to be, their best them, just the authentic place.
- 38:25Speaker 5: And so I think we've got that in our kids
- 38:27Speaker 5: fall in love with that opportunity.
- 38:29Speaker 3: Coach, when you first meet a player, do you what
- 38:31Speaker 3: do you want them to call you? Do you want
- 38:32Speaker 3: them to play? Coach Kenny?
- 38:34Speaker 7: Like, how how does that go?
- 38:35Speaker 3: And does that change as the more years they're here.
- 38:38Speaker 7: We have no rules here, honestly, like I don't. We
- 38:41Speaker 7: don't have a meeting at the first of each year.
- 38:45Speaker 7: Call me coach. It's call me Kenny, call me coach G.
- 38:49Speaker 7: I don't care like Kenny. My last name is what
- 38:52Speaker 7: if it's.
- 38:52Speaker 3: Just Kenny G?
- 38:53Speaker 1: And I did I never?
- 38:54Speaker 7: Yeah, that's the guy.
- 38:56Speaker 5: There's some funny things that you know are out there
- 38:59Speaker 5: about me and that and I stutter, so they make
- 39:02Speaker 5: Kenny G.
- 39:02Speaker 7: That's stuttering and all this other stuff. I just hey,
- 39:05Speaker 7: just gotta be who you are.
- 39:06Speaker 1: I didn't.
- 39:07Speaker 3: Did you say, get them a horn?
- 39:08Speaker 1: Yeah, get the guy a horn. Get him a saxophone,
- 39:11Speaker 1: one of those flat saxophones.
- 39:13Speaker 3: Played the bat put them on.
- 39:14Speaker 1: That's funny.
- 39:15Speaker 2: Well, coach, we uh, we pulled up in the first
- 39:17Speaker 2: thing because we looked into the field. You guess have
- 39:19Speaker 2: a really nice like the fields like pristine.
- 39:22Speaker 4: Do you take a lot of.
- 39:23Speaker 1: Pride in that.
- 39:23Speaker 7: We take a lot of pride and keeping things clean.
- 39:26Speaker 7: You know, you have what you have.
- 39:28Speaker 5: You can complain about what you don't have, but our
- 39:31Speaker 5: girls take a lot of pride in what they have here,
- 39:34Speaker 5: and so we we try to keep things clean. We
- 39:36Speaker 5: try to keep it fresh, We try to keep evolving
- 39:39Speaker 5: with things. We try to brand well. I want you
- 39:41Speaker 5: to turn on the TV and know, Hey, you're at
- 39:44Speaker 5: os U and it's a big deal, and so you
- 39:49Speaker 5: just all you can do is take care of what
- 39:51Speaker 5: you got.
- 39:51Speaker 1: Last question, is your closet all orange?
- 39:54Speaker 3: You open it up and.
- 39:56Speaker 2: It's not.
- 39:57Speaker 7: I have an orange section, got it and it's O
- 40:00Speaker 7: s U.
- 40:00Speaker 5: I'm a big shoe guy, so shoes dominate my uh
- 40:04Speaker 5: my area, but I try to keep everything kind of
- 40:08Speaker 5: in in it.
- 40:09Speaker 7: So I got some.
- 40:10Speaker 5: Lulu over here, I got my Nike over here. My
- 40:13Speaker 5: Orange O s U is over at this spot here.
- 40:17Speaker 7: So it's it's it's pretty good.
- 40:19Speaker 2: Of all the oranges, the three that I think of
- 40:21Speaker 2: immediate Lyair Texas, Tennessee. I went oranges whatever that freame sick, Yeah,
- 40:27Speaker 2: or OSU. My favorite of the oranges is osh.
- 40:30Speaker 5: For the record, America's brightest story and for the record, yes, Coach,
- 40:32Speaker 5: thank you very much for having us.
- 40:33Speaker 1: We can't wait to get out there, and thank you,
- 40:35Speaker 1: thank you coach. All right, all right, thanks to coach
- 40:39Speaker 1: for coming on. Go watch our full episode.
- 40:41Speaker 3: No cowgirls.
- 40:42Speaker 2: Yeah, and people were asking the jerseys we were wearing.
- 40:45Speaker 2: They were women's jerseys.
- 40:47Speaker 3: Yes, they were a hit, but they fit really nice,
- 40:50Speaker 3: really tight, nice and snug.
- 40:52Speaker 1: Yeah, really tight.
- 40:54Speaker 2: We're going to open up a box of presidential relics
- 40:58Speaker 2: from the past at the very very end of this podcast.
- 41:00Speaker 3: That sounds awesome.
- 41:01Speaker 1: I don't really know what the box is. I've been
- 41:02Speaker 1: collecting some stuff. You go through a few card things
- 41:04Speaker 1: that I got. But before we do that, let's end
- 41:06Speaker 1: the show. It's the first episode.
- 41:08Speaker 3: Back, dude.
- 41:09Speaker 2: That was a great shows conference. We got all of
- 41:11Speaker 2: our personal stuff out of the way. Yeah, so we
- 41:13Speaker 2: don't talk about that anymore.
- 41:15Speaker 3: I missed you guys, Okay, true transparency. I see you
- 41:20Speaker 3: guys every day.

- 41:31Speaker 2: That would be awesome, And we should make like whistles.
- 41:36Speaker 2: What do you mean we should sell whistles like the
- 41:38Speaker 2: logo on them. The problem is that it costs like
- 41:41Speaker 2: nothing to make, but a ton to ship.
- 41:43Speaker 3: Because they're heavy.
- 41:44Speaker 1: No, it's just like you gotta put out a bunch
- 41:46Speaker 1: of I don't know.
- 41:48Speaker 3: Let's think about it's a good idea.
- 41:51Speaker 4: Memorabilia whistles, like do they say twenty five w on
- 41:54Speaker 4: the side or something something we could sell.
- 41:56Speaker 3: We's in each season.
- 41:57Speaker 2: I wish they had and we signed them. Always had
- 41:59Speaker 2: big whistles and we can say like one.
- 42:01Speaker 3: Of one, like clowns. I think they have big fat whistles.
- 42:05Speaker 2: Google big fat whistles, like massive whistles that we could
- 42:09Speaker 2: all sign and for like eight bucks, you get a
- 42:12Speaker 2: twenty five whistles whistle and we all sign it and
- 42:15Speaker 2: send it to you, or twenty bucks or something.
- 42:18Speaker 1: I don't know, twenty five bucks, twenty.
- 42:21Speaker 4: That's it genius.
- 42:22Speaker 1: That's its genius idea. You saying about a giant whistle, not.
- 42:27Speaker 4: Seeing a giant thing.
- 42:28Speaker 3: Put clowns in the Google search.
- 42:30Speaker 1: I did google most massive whistle on the Internet. Let's
- 42:35Speaker 1: say big, there's a giant whistle, but it looked that big,
- 42:39Speaker 1: big whistle. There's one for six ninety nine, but I
- 42:41Speaker 1: think the picture is just big.
- 42:42Speaker 6: Yeah, it's not that big a whistle, not comically big.
- 42:45Speaker 2: Here's a thunder or fifty eight referee whistle, but that's
- 42:47Speaker 2: twenty seven bucks, but it's not comically big.
- 42:49Speaker 6: Yeah, it's get on, there's a giant like huge whistle
- 42:53Speaker 6: like you could stand next to you.
- 42:55Speaker 4: It's like five feet tall.
- 42:57Speaker 1: Hey, one of one.
- 42:58Speaker 2: The shipping on that one he whistle with a lanyard included,
- 43:03Speaker 2: what if we get one of the whistles, one of
- 43:05Speaker 2: the jokes whistles.
- 43:08Speaker 1: Okay, we're gonna be on the hunt.
- 43:10Speaker 2: Well, there's that three hundred value mark Blue personalized whistle
- 43:13Speaker 2: five hundred and twenty two dollars.
- 43:15Speaker 1: Dang, guys, I didn't know the whistle market was like this.
- 43:17Speaker 4: There's a market for everything a family makes out of stock.
- 43:20Speaker 1: You did.
- 43:21Speaker 2: We'll be on the lookout for big whistles and then
- 43:25Speaker 2: you can be a whistler and have your whistle wear
- 43:27Speaker 2: at all time. Man, there is a giant whistle prop.
- 43:31Speaker 2: Here's one, a giant whistle the kids you can get
- 43:33Speaker 2: on uh oh, the one that's one out of stock.
- 43:35Speaker 4: So yeah, out of stock everywhere. A giant whistle.
- 43:38Speaker 1: Dude, that looks awesome, like as big as your hand,
- 43:41Speaker 1: and that's cool.
- 43:42Speaker 2: Here's here's some in stock. It's from IBM. A dot
- 43:47Speaker 2: E du dot mL sounds legit.
- 43:52Speaker 4: Put your credit card.
- 43:53Speaker 1: That sounds like a read credit card trip. Okay, we're
- 43:55Speaker 1: gonna leave for giant whistles. But that would be fun,
- 43:58Speaker 1: right I like that.
- 43:59Speaker 2: Yeah, okay cool, Thank you guys, and we will see
- 44:02Speaker 2: you next episode twenty five whistles.
- 44:05Speaker 1: Get it, dady, all right bye, but here's this segment.
- 44:09Speaker 1: All right bye.
- 44:10Speaker 2: I just got a call from my front porch and
- 44:12Speaker 2: he'd like to ring camera, so it brings the doorbell
- 44:15Speaker 2: like being home on your phone. There's a UPS guy
- 44:17Speaker 2: and he's like, hey, I need to drop this off.
- 44:19Speaker 2: I need to signed for it, but I left it
- 44:21Speaker 2: because I missed the package yesterday. So I put a
- 44:23Speaker 2: piece of paper upset, I'm not here. Here's my signature,
- 44:28Speaker 2: and I signed the paper work apparently not what are
- 44:32Speaker 2: you gonna do with that?
- 44:32Speaker 1: So I was like, I'm not there. I left my
- 44:34Speaker 1: signature up on the top and he's like, I can't
- 44:37Speaker 1: do that. I was like, but it's me. He's like,
- 44:39Speaker 1: I hear you, but I have to. I can't leave
- 44:41Speaker 1: it without a signature because nobody was at my house.
- 44:44Speaker 1: And so I said, well, where is it? And he
- 44:46Speaker 1: told me, and now I gotta go.
- 44:47Speaker 2: I guess he go pick it up like seven tonight
- 44:49Speaker 2: because it doesn't come even off the UPS truck till
- 44:51Speaker 2: they get back because they keep driving all day.
- 44:54Speaker 1: What is it cards? Of course, of course I took
- 44:58Speaker 1: read to the cart shop near the house yesterday.
- 45:00Speaker 3: The dugout one thug out. It was pretty cool. Huh yeah,
- 45:03Speaker 3: that's exactly what you would expect.
- 45:04Speaker 2: It's like there's a dad and there's basically there's a
- 45:08Speaker 2: couple of the cool things that I got in the
- 45:09Speaker 2: past week. I just brought a couple ones in here.
- 45:11Speaker 2: But I have a dual signed Chuck Norris Jean Claude.
- 45:14Speaker 1: Maan, damn.
- 45:14Speaker 3: Wow. That's cool, dude, that's different.
- 45:17Speaker 1: Pretty cool. Yeah, one of four won that on dorm Dudes.
- 45:21Speaker 3: Do you guys know me and Bobby have had beef
- 45:23Speaker 3: with Chuck Norris?
- 45:25Speaker 1: I forgot about that.
- 45:26Speaker 3: That feels like ages ago, but yeah, is that on
- 45:30Speaker 3: us though? Well kind of yeah, so so like we
- 45:33Speaker 3: were when we worked at a TV station together. When
- 45:35Speaker 3: Bobby and I first met Chuck Norris, was like his
- 45:38Speaker 3: people were like, hey, you have a chance to interview
- 45:40Speaker 3: Chuck Norris, and Bobby's like, yeah, I can't do it.
- 45:42Speaker 3: And I was like, all right, well who do we sent?
- 45:44Speaker 3: And Bobby had this great idea to send one of
- 45:46Speaker 3: our interns and be like, send the intern.
- 45:49Speaker 1: Is fifteen years ago, a long time ago.
- 45:51Speaker 3: Yeah, send one of the interns and do a bunch
- 45:53Speaker 3: of Chuck Norris jokes, like those facts, like the river
- 45:57Speaker 3: does Chuck Norris doesn't jump in the river, River gets
- 45:59Speaker 3: jumped Chuck whatever, one of those things. And he wanted
- 46:03Speaker 3: to see if Chuck Norris knew the joke and could
- 46:06Speaker 3: finish the joke.
- 46:06Speaker 1: Because they were pretty famous at the time and I
- 46:08Speaker 1: couldn't go.
- 46:09Speaker 3: The last one was Chuck Norris is isn't hung like
- 46:13Speaker 3: a horse? The horse is hung like Chuck Norris. He
- 46:15Speaker 3: didn't like that one, and so we recorded it and
- 46:18Speaker 3: everything and we left and then when we got back
- 46:20Speaker 3: to the station, the receptionist was like, what did you
- 46:24Speaker 3: guys do. Chuck Norris's people are on the phone. They
- 46:26Speaker 3: want that tape.
- 46:27Speaker 1: He came and kicked everybody in the face and took
- 46:29Speaker 1: it back.
- 46:31Speaker 3: I was like, what do we do, man, He's like, what,
- 46:33Speaker 3: It's our tape. Keep it. So we tried to like
- 46:35Speaker 3: hide it. The Texas Rangers showed up to the station,
- 46:38Speaker 3: three Texas Rangers. They're like, where's the tape. We're like,
- 46:41Speaker 3: I don't know what you're talking about, man, give me
- 46:43Speaker 3: the tape.
- 46:43Speaker 4: Really, I don't think I blocked in.
- 46:45Speaker 3: That was one of the scariest days of my life.
- 46:47Speaker 1: Well, anyway, I got John and then I have this.
- 46:51Speaker 2: This is a Patrick Ewing card and game warn patch
- 46:54Speaker 2: from his jersey one one cool.
- 46:56Speaker 1: Yeah, pretty cool. There too a couple of my little
- 47:00Speaker 1: fun pops. I did buy this box. I was gonna
- 47:03Speaker 1: show you guys this. I didn't buy this box of
- 47:05Speaker 1: cards are ninety three score and you look for the
- 47:10Speaker 1: basically about the whole box. But a box is like
- 47:13Speaker 1: a bunch of packs.
- 47:15Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, that makes sense, so it's not the whole
- 47:17Speaker 2: set probably like you could buy it back that day.
- 47:19Speaker 1: Yeah, something like that. And so I bought this box
- 47:22Speaker 1: for like one hundred and thirty bucks or something, and
- 47:24Speaker 1: it's ninety three baseball.
- 47:27Speaker 2: I just brought one pack. Can to show you guys this.
- 47:29Speaker 2: So and you look through and Jeter's rookie year, like
- 47:32Speaker 2: I said, yeah, that's cool. I want to show you
- 47:35Speaker 2: guys the issue that I've come into. So I'm opening
- 47:38Speaker 2: the pack and I will buy some old packs sometimes
- 47:40Speaker 2: and open I'm gon try to get something cool, Like
- 47:41Speaker 2: I bought a pack of something.
- 47:42Speaker 1: I got a couple of Jeter rookies and sent them
- 47:44Speaker 1: off to the PSA to grade. Then that's awesome, so
- 47:48Speaker 1: but not this kind. I have this one. So I
- 47:50Speaker 1: opened it up, and I'm like, cool when I look
- 47:52Speaker 1: at it, they're stuck. They're all stuck together.
- 47:55Speaker 3: Oh no, there's someone's basement for a lot of years.
- 47:59Speaker 1: Look this, Now, I can break them apart one at
- 48:02Speaker 1: a time.
- 48:04Speaker 3: Well, that's a great graded lower.
- 48:06Speaker 1: Now.
- 48:07Speaker 4: Oh we really like the cards.
- 48:12Speaker 1: N y, so I can roll through John Cummings literally
- 48:21Speaker 1: seriously to make up that look, dude, that's.
- 48:25Speaker 3: Why it's sticky.
- 48:28Speaker 1: Alex Cole Graham, Lloyd, I'm pulling them apart.
- 48:34Speaker 2: Yeah, sucks, Bill Krueger, Frank Bullock, Tom Brand, that's crazy.
- 48:42Speaker 2: Escape Terry Pendleton, Grapes Padres, Ben Rivera, Joe Carter, Sean Lowe,
- 49:01Speaker 2: Willie McGhee, A's Giants blows, Xavier Hernandez, Steve Sachs, Anthony
- 49:10Speaker 2: Young once lost thirty games in a season, I believe,
- 49:14Speaker 2: not for the Mets. For the Mets, Mets were just terrible.
- 49:17Speaker 2: His he wasn't even that bad. But yeah, so anyway,
- 49:21Speaker 2: these are all Every pack is bricked.
- 49:25Speaker 3: You get your money back for that, Like can you
- 49:27Speaker 3: tell him like, hey, man, that's not it's not good.
- 49:29Speaker 2: Nope, okay, yeah, I didn't hit a jeter here either.
- 49:33Speaker 2: But the question is if I did hit a jeter,
- 49:36Speaker 2: I have to call him like a freaking scientist to
- 49:38Speaker 2: do nut removal.
- 49:40Speaker 3: Yes, that's what you tell him, Hey, you got to
- 49:44Speaker 3: do any nutroo the the other thing that I have.
- 49:49Speaker 1: Check this out.
- 49:51Speaker 2: So this is twenty twenty four Pieces of the Past.
- 49:55Speaker 2: On the box is George Washington, A Lincoln, and Benjamin Franklin.
- 49:59Speaker 2: Eight packs per box, one relic per pack, meaning there's
- 50:02Speaker 2: something from history in this box.
- 50:04Speaker 3: That's cool, but it could be like Grover Cleveland's.
- 50:08Speaker 1: Like do you want to open it? Paper clip? Right, Yeah,
- 50:10Speaker 1: that's cool though, I want to open and see what's
- 50:13Speaker 1: in the box?
- 50:13Speaker 3: Yes, yes, yes, because on the cover they have George Washington,
- 50:19Speaker 3: Thomas Jefferson, like.
- 50:21Speaker 1: George Washington, Carver exactly cool though. Okay, so let's open
- 50:25Speaker 1: her up.
- 50:27Speaker 3: One relic. I love the word relic. Sounds cool.
- 50:32Speaker 1: Here we go. We got eight cards.
- 50:40Speaker 3: Did you say how much that pack in the box was.
- 50:43Speaker 1: Three hundred bucks something like that?
- 50:46Speaker 2: Okay, not one of the most defensive, but not also
- 50:48Speaker 2: not at least expensive. But it doesn't look like they've
- 50:50Speaker 2: been notutted on.
- 50:53Speaker 1: The first one. Oh, it looks it looks like a
- 50:56Speaker 1: newspaper clipping.
- 50:57Speaker 3: Ah, there, get your paper, Nick relics.
- 51:00Speaker 2: It looks like so it says George Washington, Thomas Jefferson. Congratulations,
- 51:05Speaker 2: you have really received an authentic relic. The front of
- 51:08Speaker 2: this card features the following types of authentic and original relics.
- 51:11Speaker 2: Original newspapers, original handwritten letters, time period manuscripts, letters in documents.
- 51:16Speaker 2: So this must be a newspaper article.
- 51:20Speaker 3: Does it have the whole article on there? Or just
- 51:21Speaker 3: like a couple of words?
- 51:23Speaker 2: You want to look at this? Yeah, no, it's just
- 51:26Speaker 2: a square. But Washington is under it, and so it's
- 51:31Speaker 2: Thomas Jefferson.
- 51:32Speaker 1: But I don't know.
- 51:34Speaker 3: So, I mean it's gotta be from what year?
- 51:36Speaker 5: Is that?
- 51:36Speaker 3: What year did?
- 51:37Speaker 2: But I don't know that it's two different newspaper clippings.
- 51:40Speaker 2: Maybe you can look and see what DR two is.
- 51:44Speaker 1: I don't know. And also I don't see very well
- 51:46Speaker 1: and it's tiny. Okay, well we got newspaper clippings. There.
- 51:48Speaker 4: There we go.
- 51:52Speaker 1: Relic Pack number two.
- 51:55Speaker 2: It's called twenty twenty four Pieces of the Past if
- 51:58Speaker 2: you're looking it up. Okay, here something here we got Meriwether, Lewis,
- 52:03Speaker 2: William Clark, and Saka Juwea.
- 52:05Speaker 1: What this is Lewis Clark and Saka Juwea. It looks
- 52:09Speaker 1: like it's a piece of trio. It looks like map,
- 52:13Speaker 1: three different maps.
- 52:15Speaker 3: It's like an original map from back in the day
- 52:18Speaker 3: from the expedition. That's crazy, dude. It does say.
- 52:24Speaker 1: Authentic and original relics. What the saka Joweyah time.
- 52:31Speaker 2: Period, manuscripts, letters and documents, land grants, presidential documents, handwritten words,
- 52:39Speaker 2: books and other relics.
- 52:42Speaker 1: So this has got even like the maps they used
- 52:45Speaker 1: at some point.
- 52:45Speaker 3: Yeah, because they had That's what they did. They wrote
- 52:48Speaker 3: they had a map eighteen oh five around that time.
- 52:55Speaker 1: I don't know, but why not.
- 52:58Speaker 3: Okay, here's something Henry Ford, she met Lewis and Clark
- 53:01Speaker 3: when she was seventeen years old.
- 53:03Speaker 1: Here's a relic.
- 53:04Speaker 2: It's a different kind of cards on a white card
- 53:05Speaker 2: Henry Ford authentic relic.
- 53:08Speaker 1: And on it it looks like something. It looks like
- 53:11Speaker 1: a check or something so small. I try to like
- 53:14Speaker 1: zoom my thumbs, but it's the phone features.
- 53:17Speaker 3: The following.
- 53:19Speaker 7: This is.
- 53:23Speaker 1: Bro this looks like a money order or something. Henry Ford.
- 53:25Speaker 3: That's crazy. Then he used, See I'm trying to figure
- 53:29Speaker 3: out the years, like Henry Ford. That was in the twenties.
- 53:31Speaker 1: Maybe I wish I told you exactly what it was.
- 53:34Speaker 1: Maybe the internet does.
- 53:37Speaker 3: See first car Oh, well, eighteen nineties, look up.
- 53:41Speaker 2: Pot look at I don't know, dude, I'm going to
- 53:45Speaker 2: with that's a part of a check or a money order,
- 53:48Speaker 2: Henry Ford.
- 53:49Speaker 3: So like nineteen hundred or just do uh twenty twenty.
- 53:53Speaker 2: Four Pieces of the Past POTP nine. Here's one Abraham Lincoln.
- 54:00Speaker 3: What's the number again? What is it?
- 54:02Speaker 1: P O T P nine? This is a Blincoln.
- 54:11Speaker 3: Andry forward.
- 54:11Speaker 5: Here we go.
- 54:12Speaker 1: But I don't know what this is? What I saw too?
- 54:16Speaker 1: Would you say?
- 54:17Speaker 4: You don't know?
- 54:17Speaker 3: It's about for sale for about ten dollars?
- 54:21Speaker 2: What is it?
- 54:23Speaker 4: Doesn't say?
- 54:23Speaker 3: I'm trying to explain what it is.
- 54:25Speaker 1: Yeah, here's Bill Clinton.
- 54:28Speaker 3: Cigar.
- 54:29Speaker 1: Oh can you imagine sticky?
- 54:32Speaker 2: It's Bill Clinton and it's some I think it says
- 54:35Speaker 2: it maybe on it, but I can't read it's the
- 54:38Speaker 2: writing is too small.
- 54:39Speaker 1: I'm on my phone in wish I put this at
- 54:43Speaker 1: the end.
- 54:44Speaker 3: Dude, that is so genius to buy like something like
- 54:46Speaker 3: an old letter from nineteen hundred and then coming up
- 54:49Speaker 3: in a bunch of pieces.
- 54:50Speaker 1: And this is an actual piece from Bill Clinton, but
- 54:53Speaker 1: it looks like a letter. I don't know what it
- 54:56Speaker 1: is though. Go to blah blah blah to view the
- 55:03Speaker 1: artifict that it came Oh, so all of them. You
- 55:04Speaker 1: can go to the sit and see the artifact they
- 55:06Speaker 1: came from.
- 55:06Speaker 3: Ah, that would help.
- 55:07Speaker 1: Do you want to go to give it to me?
- 55:13Speaker 1: The be I've been trading cord? That's too small? Read,
- 55:22Speaker 1: you're going to take this again?
- 55:23Speaker 8: This looks like a book, by the way, pieces of
- 55:25Speaker 8: a book. But also some of these words aren't real words.
- 55:28Speaker 3: What do you mean?
- 55:29Speaker 1: Maybe the word back? Then? This is a mile f
- 55:33Speaker 1: M I l E.
- 55:34Speaker 3: Yeah, that's like a fake smile.
- 55:37Speaker 1: Here is something from I don't know.
- 55:40Speaker 3: He looked at me and gave me a a mile.
- 55:43Speaker 3: We got two.
- 55:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna put Read on research duty for all these.
- 55:45Speaker 1: He can give it to a report next time. Here's Pocahontas.
- 55:50Speaker 3: You got something from Pocahontas. What is that happening? They
- 55:53Speaker 3: could just lie, they could, but that wouldn't be nice.
- 55:57Speaker 2: It's on the back of the bill Clinton on it
- 56:00Speaker 2: gives an extensive report, the book report.
- 56:03Speaker 1: And then this one is from congratulation, a piece of
- 56:10Speaker 1: JP Morgan like, and it's like a checker, the bank
- 56:13Speaker 1: check or something that's cool. All right, well there's a
- 56:16Speaker 1: reason to put this in.
- 56:17Speaker 3: How old is JP Morgan? I think he's still alive.
- 56:19Speaker 1: Yeah, dude, this picture looks like I was taking like
- 56:20Speaker 1: two hunred years ago. Okay, not sure, Okay, like Charles Schwab,
- 56:24Speaker 1: he's still alive, right, yeah, hung out with him.
- 56:26Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what I can't remember that.
- 56:28Speaker 1: I'll take my Patrick Ewing and John Claude bandit over these.
- 56:32Speaker 4: JP Morgan died one hundred years ago.
- 56:34Speaker 1: Read I'll give you these two. And so we already
- 56:37Speaker 1: closed the show. There you go, We get into with
- 56:39Speaker 1: some good memorabilia, all right, there, thanks,
