- 0:01Speaker 1: Jarreny, Katy and Josh six one hundred.
- 0:04Speaker 2: To talk about your fur babies. There's a new poll
- 0:06Speaker 2: out this morning. They surveyed about two thousand dog owners
- 0:09Speaker 2: and they revealed the ideal dog.
- 0:11Speaker 3: Walk for you.
- 0:12Speaker 2: So, if you're getting ready to go walk your puppy Nanna,
- 0:16Speaker 2: as Katie would say this morning, the best dog walk
- 0:20Speaker 2: should last one hour and seven minutes. It should include
- 0:24Speaker 2: sixteen different sniffing opportunities and feature water for splashing.
- 0:29Speaker 4: All right, MG, that's how long you have to walk
- 0:31Speaker 4: me too?
- 0:35Speaker 2: Synonymous, They say you should also look for areas that
- 0:39Speaker 2: have open fields, woodlands and parks. Well, that's just like
- 0:44Speaker 2: everywhere there say anywhere, And of course they said safety
- 0:49Speaker 2: is the top priority. They say also that owners would
- 0:53Speaker 2: travel up to seven miles just to find the perfect
- 0:57Speaker 2: outing for their poops.
- 0:59Speaker 5: Go. You know, it gets me when people are walking
- 1:02Speaker 5: their dog and their dog is clearly trying to smell
- 1:05Speaker 5: or sniff or do their business and they're pulling them
- 1:09Speaker 5: and I'm like, do you do that, Jeremy.
- 1:11Speaker 1: That's you need little Goldie fine, hold up, hold up dog. Well,
- 1:17Speaker 1: to my defense, that dog stop to pee every twenty
- 1:23Speaker 1: five seconds.
- 1:24Speaker 3: She's one of those.
- 1:25Speaker 4: Okay, there are some dogs like that. I will give
- 1:27Speaker 4: you that.
- 1:29Speaker 2: I guarantee you if you were to pass me at
- 1:31Speaker 2: any point when we're walking our dog, you will hear
- 1:33Speaker 2: me yell. I think you're empty, empty, you have nothing left?
- 1:39Speaker 3: Come on, what else is?
- 1:42Speaker 4: There's nothing left?
- 1:44Speaker 3: You're blowing air right now? Stop it.
- 1:47Speaker 4: But I do get a little judging.
- 1:48Speaker 5: I'm not gonna lie, but yeah, at some point.
- 1:52Speaker 3: You're like, I gotta get through my walk dog.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Oh.
- 1:54Speaker 5: I know the walks for you too, But that's why
- 1:56Speaker 5: I walk by myself, because this is.
- 1:58Speaker 3: Me now on the heels of that. I will give
- 2:02Speaker 3: you this as well.
- 2:03Speaker 2: There's a new study out this morning talking about it's
- 2:05Speaker 2: now about an average of four and seventy two dollars
- 2:11Speaker 2: annually to care for your pets.
- 2:13Speaker 5: Oh.
- 2:14Speaker 3: I would imagine that's mostly.
- 2:15Speaker 4: Dogs, Yeah, dogs and cats.
- 2:17Speaker 2: So over a typical twelve year lifespan, total costs can
- 2:20Speaker 2: exceed about fifty thousand dollars.
- 2:23Speaker 3: To raise that animal.
- 2:24Speaker 5: That's you know, And I think the younger generations are
- 2:29Speaker 5: seeing that and they're like, we still like pets, but
- 2:31Speaker 5: we don't want to spend all that money. Do you
- 2:33Speaker 5: know what the new trend is for the young young
- 2:36Speaker 5: kids at Gen Alpha.
- 2:37Speaker 3: U's gotta be like a like an ai animal.
- 2:41Speaker 4: It's probably gonna get to that.
- 2:42Speaker 5: But we're talking lizards and salamanders and things that are
- 2:45Speaker 5: in tanks that aren't as expensive to raise.
- 2:48Speaker 4: Like I saw the story, you just got to buy
- 2:50Speaker 4: the crickets form right exactly.
- 2:51Speaker 5: The unofficial mascot of Gen Alpha right now is an
- 2:56Speaker 5: endangered salamander called the axel Lottel. And we've talked about
- 3:00Speaker 5: axel battle axel lottles. They are the axel lottle, wattle,
- 3:09Speaker 5: axel lot algo.
- 3:13Speaker 3: I can't say it. What the hell is wattle?
- 3:18Speaker 4: What is that axel lottle? It sounds like, okay, you
- 3:25Speaker 4: are going to find in love. I can't even say it.
- 3:28Speaker 4: How am I going to google it's it's very well.
- 3:34Speaker 5: But this little lizard has a smile on its face permanently.
- 3:39Speaker 4: No wonder why they love. I've never heard of that
- 3:44Speaker 4: your daughter has.
- 3:45Speaker 5: Because the young kids love this little I want to
- 3:48Speaker 5: say lizard. It's not a lizard though, it's a salamander,
- 3:51Speaker 5: and he is finding they're finding their way into everything.
- 3:53Speaker 5: So the squishies are all axel Lottle shapes. Now you
- 3:56Speaker 5: can see him in roadblocks. They're in lego sets.
- 3:59Speaker 6: Like wattle, axle lottles.
- 4:02Speaker 2: I almost said, yeah, careful, careful, but okay, so I
- 4:09Speaker 2: know a couple.
- 4:14Speaker 5: With the wattley so you can see like a few
- 4:18Speaker 5: like salamander.
- 4:19Speaker 4: You can say, salamon, stop it salamon. So Zoe maybe not.
- 4:24Speaker 4: She has a tiger salamander, so she if you take
- 4:28Speaker 4: care of them.
- 4:29Speaker 2: It's the lizards that kids were like licking and putting
- 4:32Speaker 2: in their mouth and they were getting incredibly.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Sick, wasn't is it?
- 4:36Speaker 2: I think it was the salamanders the kids were licking
- 4:39Speaker 2: give like a high poisoner.
- 4:40Speaker 5: Pet salamanders, like a lot of kids have these, especially
- 4:43Speaker 5: the tiger salamanders.
- 4:44Speaker 4: And again the axle.
- 4:46Speaker 6: Wattles us you say, the dave is so funny a
- 4:52Speaker 6: battle keep that elm going, homie axle wattle.
- 5:00Speaker 3: Can you imagine me walking into a pet store. Hi,
- 5:03Speaker 3: I'm looking for an ax.
- 5:08Speaker 4: Are you okay, sir?
- 5:09Speaker 7: And they're like, this dude is high, dude, this dude
- 5:13Speaker 7: pounded a fifth of jack in the parking lot.
- 5:15Speaker 3: Right now he's looking for a salamander.
- 5:17Speaker 2: To man, are you allowed to lick me at Axel Wattle.
- 5:28Speaker 3: It's like when you slow down a video on TV
- 5:30Speaker 3: or something on YouTube.
- 5:33Speaker 4: You raise your head in your mouth.
- 5:38Speaker 3: I'm a disaster. I'm a disaster. I'm mad at myself
- 5:42Speaker 3: right now, I gotta go take a break.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Lot shout out to Cameron who texted and then said
- 5:50Speaker 2: a whole waddle. I'm dying in my car, Jeremy, you
- 5:53Speaker 2: made my day. Well I aim to please Cameron, thank
- 5:55Speaker 2: you so very much for the very kind text message.
- 5:58Speaker 2: The amount of people texting in pictures of the Axel wattle,
- 6:02Speaker 2: I know right now, Mottel, thank you. I knew zero
- 6:07Speaker 2: about this little animal, nothing, but you're right.
- 6:09Speaker 3: They're smiling.
- 6:10Speaker 4: They're so cute.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Is that just natural that you just have a natural smile,
- 6:14Speaker 2: you're just happy to be here.
- 6:15Speaker 4: That's just the face they make all the time. How cute.
- 6:19Speaker 5: And Shannon too texting in her daughter's ax a Lottle
- 6:22Speaker 5: Onesie because that.
- 6:23Speaker 4: Made my day. Oh gosh, that's cute. How much are
- 6:27Speaker 4: they don't it's probably like fifty bucks.
- 6:29Speaker 3: Do you know how long they live? I don't know,
- 6:33Speaker 3: forty to nine ninety.
- 6:35Speaker 1: The initial tank setup will cost you anywhere from six
- 6:37Speaker 1: hundred to twelve hundred dollars.
- 6:38Speaker 3: No, no, how I said, how long do they live?
- 6:39Speaker 5: Oh, Axel Lottle life span with my fat thumbs is
- 6:45Speaker 5: ten to fifteen years.
- 6:46Speaker 2: And capture oh, definitely one of those two years on
- 6:50Speaker 2: the hamster right now at the house.
- 6:51Speaker 7: And I'm like, wrap it up, dude, wrap it out.
- 6:55Speaker 7: I'm cleaning your cage after two years.
- 6:58Speaker 4: They're so cute, though, I want.
- 7:00Speaker 2: To ask I would like it at all. Right, we're
- 7:04Speaker 2: gonna be back in about three minutes and forty seconds.
- 7:06Speaker 2: I got a little Ellie Golding for you.
- 7:08Speaker 3: What are we gonna be talking about, Katie Katt.
- 7:10Speaker 5: We've got some relationship stuff, commiserating breakups and what to
- 7:15Speaker 5: do in that.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Situation, real life love stuff, real life stuff, breaking up
- 7:23Speaker 2: with people.
- 7:23Speaker 4: You remind me. Thanks chair.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Now, speaking of Katie cat, it's story time with Katie.
- 7:35Speaker 3: Gather around kids, chriss cross apple sauce.
- 7:39Speaker 4: Hey, it's story time we met Katie.
- 7:43Speaker 5: Well, this one starts out of a little sad because
- 7:46Speaker 5: here's the thing is we all know I went had
- 7:49Speaker 5: a little weekend with Chicago guy not too long ago,
- 7:52Speaker 5: and it did not go well at all, And so
- 7:54Speaker 5: I went out to lunch with one of my girlfriends yesterday, Ryane,
- 7:58Speaker 5: and we were talking about it and she was just like, man,
- 8:01Speaker 5: when you were telling your story, I was just crying
- 8:04Speaker 5: along with you because she went through something recently and
- 8:07Speaker 5: she told me her story and I was like, oh
- 8:10Speaker 5: m g. People suck sometimes, like people. And I don't
- 8:14Speaker 5: want to say just guys, right because you guys get
- 8:16Speaker 5: it too, Like people in general can suck sometimes, you know,
- 8:20Speaker 5: Like I mean, everybody has a story. It's not just
- 8:23Speaker 5: men who are doing women wrong. Like it happens both ways.
- 8:26Speaker 3: I famously had a harsh breakup on the show for years.
- 8:29Speaker 2: I told the story of I was with a woman
- 8:32Speaker 2: for four years and then I found out she was
- 8:35Speaker 2: sleeping with the bartender at an Applebeeyeh.
- 8:38Speaker 4: People like people suck all I've an Applebee's since I
- 8:44Speaker 4: really did some damage to you.
- 8:47Speaker 5: But anyway, so we were just kind of like commiserating
- 8:50Speaker 5: together because it does happen to all of us.
- 8:52Speaker 4: And she told me the story.
- 8:53Speaker 5: Okay, so she does Animal City and she watches dogs
- 8:55Speaker 5: and whatnot. She houseits for people when around of town,
- 8:58Speaker 5: and she was doing that for somebody and they were
- 9:01Speaker 5: also getting their kitchen done at the same time. So
- 9:03Speaker 5: there was this work crew of guys in the kitchen
- 9:05Speaker 5: while she was house sitting. Uh so my friend Ryane
- 9:08Speaker 5: was talking to this guy named Mark right, and Mark
- 9:11Speaker 5: was getting all flirty and stuff.
- 9:13Speaker 4: And this was over a couple day.
- 9:14Speaker 5: Period of time, and then one night Mark came into
- 9:18Speaker 5: the kitchen and grabbed Ryan and kissed her right there
- 9:21Speaker 5: over the burners, like this is like exactly exactly, just
- 9:25Speaker 5: went into the kitchen, grabbed her and started kissing her.
- 9:28Speaker 4: And she was like it was I was so caught off.
- 9:30Speaker 3: That's a moment.
- 9:31Speaker 5: And not only that he's a lot younger than her,
- 9:33Speaker 5: He's like ten to younger than her, So she was totally.
- 9:36Speaker 4: Caught off guard.
- 9:37Speaker 2: She was like, okay, so got it, but she was
- 9:40Speaker 2: in it.
- 9:42Speaker 3: Was respectful.
- 9:43Speaker 5: They were flirting, right, and so like when it happened,
- 9:46Speaker 5: it was unexpected, but I like it, so I know
- 9:49Speaker 5: it was so much stuff sexy.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Right.
- 9:52Speaker 5: So then they start talking and he was just like,
- 9:55Speaker 5: you know, I really like you and I'd love if
- 9:56Speaker 5: you come over to my house for dinner sometime.
- 9:58Speaker 4: Maybe we can keep this going. And she's like okay.
- 10:01Speaker 5: So she got really excited and the next night she
- 10:03Speaker 5: said she went over to his house for dinner. And
- 10:06Speaker 5: she gets there and the first thing she noticed is
- 10:08Speaker 5: she doesn't smell anything cooking. She doesn't see any dinner
- 10:11Speaker 5: being prepared, and he's sitting on his couch eating a
- 10:15Speaker 5: bowl of soup and doesn't offer her anything.
- 10:18Speaker 2: So she was like, you always offer a woman soup.
- 10:22Speaker 2: You toss her a can and a cano, first thing you.
- 10:25Speaker 5: Do, first thing you do. Here's your soup lady. But no,
- 10:28Speaker 5: so he didn't offer her anything, and so she just caught.
- 10:31Speaker 4: She was like, this is weird. You know, I thought
- 10:33Speaker 4: we were going to go out to dinner or.
- 10:34Speaker 5: Whatever, and so she before she could bring it up, though,
- 10:37Speaker 5: he started like getting closer to her, and then they
- 10:39Speaker 5: start manging not again right again, then sitting.
- 10:44Speaker 4: He probably kept it on just for good luck, but no.
- 10:47Speaker 5: So yeah, so they're sitting on the couch doing stuff
- 10:50Speaker 5: and it starts to go a little further than she
- 10:52Speaker 5: wants it to. So she's like, okay, wait, you know,
- 10:54Speaker 5: I'm not comfortable going all that exactly. And she's like,
- 10:58Speaker 5: I'm not looking for just a nightstand type of situation.
- 11:01Speaker 3: She's like, I'm not.
- 11:05Speaker 5: You need to give me more than soup, homie, And
- 11:08Speaker 5: so you know, they kind of stopped a little bit.
- 11:11Speaker 5: But then she's like, can I go use your restroom?
- 11:12Speaker 5: And he's like totally.
- 11:13Speaker 4: So here's where it's interesting.
- 11:16Speaker 5: She walks through the kitchen and she notices on the
- 11:18Speaker 5: refrigerator there are pictures of children that look just like Kim.
- 11:25Speaker 5: Then as she makes her way to the to the
- 11:29Speaker 5: to the bathroom, there is a nursery being built in
- 11:34Speaker 5: the bedroom across the wall from the bathroom.
- 11:37Speaker 4: But what okay, So she goes out and you know,
- 11:42Speaker 4: Ryanne is an adult, so she asks him. She feels
- 11:46Speaker 4: he's married. I mean, this is the way she explained it.
- 11:49Speaker 5: She's like, I felt like this man was married, and
- 11:51Speaker 5: I just walked into a situation I did not want
- 11:53Speaker 5: to be in.
- 11:53Speaker 3: Well, the nursery being built exactly.
- 11:56Speaker 5: So she comes out and she asks Mark, are you married?
- 12:00Speaker 5: Flat out and he's like, oh no, no, He's like and
- 12:03Speaker 5: then she said, well, what about the pictures and the nursery. Oh,
- 12:06Speaker 5: this is my brother's house. That's those are my nephews.
- 12:10Speaker 5: So I'm just at my brother's house. She didn't believe him.
- 12:13Speaker 5: She didn't feel good about his answers, so she left
- 12:15Speaker 5: right the.
- 12:16Speaker 3: Next day, pictures of the children looked just like him.
- 12:18Speaker 3: Did they have little tool belts on?
- 12:20Speaker 1: It?
- 12:24Speaker 3: Is okay, so it's confirmed.
- 12:26Speaker 4: Tell me that specifically, I'm okay.
- 12:30Speaker 5: So anyway, the next day when she's you know, they're
- 12:34Speaker 5: back at the kitchen and you know, they're working on it,
- 12:36Speaker 5: and she's well because she's sitting still and they're working
- 12:39Speaker 5: on the kitchen. So she asks his coworker, hey, Austin,
- 12:44Speaker 5: is Mark married?
- 12:46Speaker 4: And Austin says, yeah, where it is. She's like, well,
- 12:52Speaker 4: where's Mark's family? Then where's mine? She said.
- 12:55Speaker 5: He says, they're visiting her family in Minnesota before the
- 12:59Speaker 5: baby comes.
- 13:01Speaker 4: No, no, because.
- 13:08Speaker 5: Then the houseowners come home and my friend Ryane again
- 13:13Speaker 5: she's a grown woman, and she's.
- 13:15Speaker 4: She's gonna do it.
- 13:16Speaker 5: So she tells them, She's like, how well do you
- 13:19Speaker 5: know Mark and the people who are working on your kitchen?
- 13:21Speaker 5: And she says, well, Mark's an old family friend. So
- 13:25Speaker 5: the pome owner knows was Mark's family. So then she
- 13:31Speaker 5: told her everything. She told her everything, and now why
- 13:35Speaker 5: you do that? Because Mark's getting a divorce she's affording him.
- 13:40Speaker 4: Now.
- 13:41Speaker 5: No, no, Now they found out after she told her
- 13:44Speaker 5: what happened with Ryane. That wife was like, hext to
- 13:47Speaker 5: the no, I'm out, and now they're getting a divorce,
- 13:50Speaker 5: and I just like, I was so proud of that wife.
- 13:53Speaker 5: I don't even know that woman, but I'm like, here
- 13:55Speaker 5: for you, lady.
- 13:56Speaker 4: No, that's hard to do when you're pregnant.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Is Magine's ballsy on his part to do that in
- 14:03Speaker 2: a house where he knows yes family, right, and.
- 14:07Speaker 5: Clearly he's done this before, or the wife wouldn't have
- 14:09Speaker 5: been so quick to pack up her stuff and leave.
- 14:12Speaker 5: I mean, she took the kids, she moved to Minnesota
- 14:15Speaker 5: to her family again, so it's like they completely parted ways,
- 14:20Speaker 5: and you know, Ryan, she feels a little bad about it,
- 14:22Speaker 5: but also she's like, I feel like it was.
- 14:24Speaker 4: My duty to tell everybody. I'm like, absolutely, like I'd
- 14:28Speaker 4: probably do the same thing app and I did ask her.
- 14:32Speaker 3: I was like, can I.
- 14:32Speaker 4: Tell people about this? Because again it goes into.
- 14:35Speaker 5: When you're dealing with stuff like this, like, you know,
- 14:37Speaker 5: Chicago guy treated me like absolute crap, and it's only
- 14:41Speaker 5: in hindsight that I can see that now. But to
- 14:43Speaker 5: be able to talk with other people about it and
- 14:46Speaker 5: feel like, you know, there are people out there feeling
- 14:48Speaker 5: like I am.
- 14:49Speaker 3: It just it had to make you feel.
- 14:50Speaker 4: Good, and I hated it, and I told her that
- 14:51Speaker 4: I was like.
- 14:52Speaker 3: I made you feel good in a bad way because me.
- 14:54Speaker 4: Feel not alone. Is a better way to put it.
- 14:56Speaker 5: That other people go through this too, and we get
- 14:58Speaker 5: through it, you know.
- 15:00Speaker 4: So that's the big thing. But man, I.
- 15:03Speaker 2: It's too bad because it started so like hot, Like
- 15:06Speaker 2: it started like a rom com. You know, you got
- 15:09Speaker 2: your house sitting, you got a hot dude and his
- 15:11Speaker 2: flannel in his work boots a belt, and he, you know,
- 15:15Speaker 2: embraces you in the kitchen and you make out.
- 15:18Speaker 3: I mean that would give anybody goosies.
- 15:21Speaker 2: He would get me goosies. If this guy came over,
- 15:23Speaker 2: he gave me. But the red flag was probably the soup.
- 15:27Speaker 3: I mean, exactly, what is that eating soup? You know
- 15:30Speaker 3: that kind of soup he was eating?
- 15:31Speaker 4: Help yourself?
- 15:34Speaker 3: Yeah, is a vegetable bee? That's a dump.
- 15:38Speaker 4: Mark's dumb.
- 15:39Speaker 3: Yeah, go for a chicken noodle guy for Mark. Well,
- 15:43Speaker 3: thank you for that story. That was fantastic. I love it.
- 15:46Speaker 3: I love other people's drama so much.
