- 0:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah, welcome to this podcast launching in the middle of October 2019.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: My name is Andrew Monahan.
- 0:44SPEAKER_00: And my experience as a career is I've worked for 26 years.
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: 20 of those years have been in frontline sales in a B2B enterprise software environment, both as an individual contributor and also as a sales manager, sales leader.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: And then also I've had six years where I've worked with sales teams and leaders as a coach and a trainer to help them grow.
- 1:07SPEAKER_00: And I love seeing individuals and teams and reps and leaders try new things and grow, take concepts which they've either forgotten about or are even new to them, giving them a go and see the transformations that take place and the results in their day-to-day sales life.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: In the last few years, I've seen the power of what happens when individuals take small steps on a regular basis to get better.
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: Basically, apply the growth mindset to what they're doing and see what happens as they try new things, remember old things, and put them into practice and make them become a habit over time.
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: And the topics in this podcast are going to be a combination of my experiences, my stories, what I've seen as successes and failures over the years, combined with some of the best ideas and best sections, best paragraphs in the best sales books that are there today.
- 2:01SPEAKER_00: You know, if you look at the library out there of sales books, there's some great stuff written by some really good people.
- 2:08SPEAKER_00: And it's the combination of some of their ideas combined with my experiences, which is going to produce the content for this episode.
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: And what's going to come out of it is these bite-sized sales tips.
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: Five to 10 minutes every weekday with small things that are actionable that you can put in practice if you want to that day and that week.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: There's going to be a lot going on, and there's going to be an episode every weekday.
- 2:34SPEAKER_00: Don't feel like you should try and even implement something every single day.
- 2:39SPEAKER_00: That's probably a little bit too much.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: But as if as you listen to the episodes, you every week you get one or two things and give them a try and see what happens, then you're going to get the results from this and see things transform for you.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: So it is going to be bite sized sales, it's going to be every weekday, it's going to be five to ten minutes, and it's going to be topics which allow you to take action and improve on your results every single time.
