- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Thank you for listening to us. Ryan Seacrest. Seacrest. On air,
- 0:05Speaker 2: on air, on air with Ryan Seacrest. 102.7. It's Kiss FM.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Good morning.
- 0:17Speaker 1: All right. Good morning.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Good morning. Highs in the mid 80s, low 90s inland.
- 0:23Speaker 2: How are you, Tanya? How are you, Sissany?
- 0:26Speaker 1: I'm good.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Good?
- 0:27Speaker 3: I feel like refreshed. Don't you feel refreshed?
- 0:31Speaker 1: Much better than I did last night.
- 0:32Speaker 4: Good.
- 0:34Speaker 2: Whatever the difference was, do it again. Back room, how
- 0:36Speaker 2: are you?
- 0:37Speaker 5: Good.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Good morning.
- 0:39Speaker 2: I'm going to cast some vulnerability here. I need to
- 0:42Speaker 2: demonstrate something. You tell me if I should be doing
- 0:44Speaker 2: this or not.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Carry on.
- 0:46Speaker 2: So I just took them out because I had them
- 0:48Speaker 2: in all night and I brought them in because my
- 0:50Speaker 2: teeth guy, so there's a tooth down here at the
- 0:53Speaker 2: bottom that's like getting out of place. So my teeth
- 0:55Speaker 2: guy says, well, you got to get retainers. I just
- 1:02Speaker 2: learned how to sleep kind of now, and I'm going
- 1:04Speaker 2: to put these retainers in. I'm not going to sleep well.
- 1:05Speaker 1: Yeah, they hurt.
- 1:07Speaker 2: And the way you breathe. And he said, but you
- 1:10Speaker 2: got to wear them. You got to be diligent. You
- 1:12Speaker 2: got to wear them at night, and you got to
- 1:14Speaker 2: wear them during the day. During the day. If you
- 1:15Speaker 2: want that tooth to come back to its regular spot.
- 1:18Speaker 1: So you basically have braces.
- 1:20Speaker 2: Well, no, it's here.
- 1:21Speaker 3: It's like an Invisalign.
- 1:23Speaker 2: I got this. I don't have Invisalign. I got these things.
- 1:26Speaker 2: I did impressions and I got the things right here.
- 1:28Speaker 1: That's what it is.
- 1:29Speaker 3: That's like a mold of your teeth, which is Invisalign.
- 1:31Speaker 2: This is called Invisalign? Yes.
- 1:32Speaker 1: Essentially, yeah.
- 1:34Speaker 2: So the guy, the tooth guy, says, well, you can
- 1:39Speaker 2: wear them at work. No one would notice. They're very thin.
- 1:41Speaker 1: You know, when the dentist says no one will notice,
- 1:44Speaker 1: it's like.
- 1:45Speaker 6: Do you not remember the years that I had these
- 1:47Speaker 6: in my mouth and you guys made fun of me
- 1:49Speaker 6: and I like sounded so, it sounded so.
- 1:52Speaker 2: I don't think we've ever made fun of you. We
- 1:53Speaker 2: might have commented that we could detect a difference in
- 1:55Speaker 2: your speech. But my question is, he thinks I can
- 1:57Speaker 2: wear them on the air and not tell a difference.
- 1:59Speaker 1: You cannot. You can hear a difference.
- 2:01Speaker 4: Is it top and bottom? Oh, we're really committed here.
- 2:04Speaker 4: This is a whole thing.
- 2:05Speaker 2: I feel the pain already.
- 2:06Speaker 1: There's no way.
- 2:07Speaker 2: So they're in right now. Can you tell the difference?
- 2:10Speaker 1: Yes, I can.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Your teeth look like whiter.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Yeah, it's not. I can't tell the difference.
- 2:16Speaker 2: 102.7. It's Kiss FM.
- 2:21Speaker 7: Can you tell?
- 2:21Speaker 2: I guess I can tell. It's harder to speak.
- 2:23Speaker 1: It's not too bad. Leave them in.
- 2:24Speaker 8: No.
- 2:25Speaker 2: I'm not going to leave them in.
- 2:26Speaker 3: Let's do a whole show.
- 2:27Speaker 2: A whole show with my retainers in?
- 2:29Speaker 1: Yes.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Because you can't use your tongue the way you want
- 2:31Speaker 2: to use your tongue when you have your retainers in.
- 2:33Speaker 4: But I think if you did it every day, you
- 2:35Speaker 4: would get used to it and it'd be fine.
- 2:37Speaker 1: You don't. They tell you these things and they don't.
- 2:42Speaker 2: I don't think I can wear these while I'm at work.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Cannot. It's not bad.
- 2:45Speaker 3: I've gotten used to it already.
- 2:48Speaker 2: It would help make it go back faster though. And
- 2:52Speaker 2: then getting them out. I can't even get them off.
- 2:54Speaker 3: I've just accepted the teeth shifting.
- 2:56Speaker 2: No, I'm not accepting it. I did for a long time.
- 3:00Speaker 4: I could never do an Invisalign because I don't have
- 3:02Speaker 4: the discipline to keep it in all day. and wear
- 3:04Speaker 4: them every day, as I think you probably will not either.
- 3:08Speaker 2: I'm going to try. I got a real routine before
- 3:11Speaker 2: I go to sleep at night that's really unattractive.
- 3:13Speaker 4: The next step might be actual braces, which I'm not
- 3:15Speaker 4: supposed to.
- 3:16Speaker 2: I did that as a teenager. I did a headgear,
- 3:18Speaker 2: rubber bands, and braces, and I protested.
- 3:20Speaker 1: Come on, let's bring them back, Ryan. I'll do them
- 3:22Speaker 1: with you.
- 3:23Speaker 2: No, I don't want to do that.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Real braces will make them cool.
- 3:26Speaker 2: I'm giving myself a year with these plastic things.
- 3:29Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 3:29Speaker 6: And honestly, if you just double the time, whatever he
- 3:32Speaker 6: told you, how long it's going to take, wear them
- 3:34Speaker 6: only at night and just double the amount of time
- 3:36Speaker 6: that you're going to have to do it.
- 3:37Speaker 2: And then for the next decade. So I'll have a
- 3:39Speaker 2: straight tooth by the time.
- 3:40Speaker 3: I mean, nobody's going to see your tooth.
- 3:44Speaker 2: All right. Anyway, thanks for the feedback.
- 3:46Speaker 3: I appreciate that.
- 3:48Speaker 2: I'll wear them during the commercial breaks. I knew it.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Kayla Swift. I knew it. I knew you. Today is Tuesday,
- 3:56Speaker 2: September 8th. Hopefully you had a nice Labor Day weekend.
- 4:00Speaker 2: It's over. Summer is done. Pretty much. We do have
- 4:03Speaker 2: something very much to look forward to coming up in
- 4:05Speaker 2: a few days in Las Vegas, our iHeartRadio Music Festival.
- 4:08Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 4:09Speaker 2: So we will bounce out there as a team. I
- 4:12Speaker 2: will be hosting it. Disney +, and also, of course,
- 4:14Speaker 2: broadcasting all of our iHeartRadio stations. You can watch it
- 4:17Speaker 2: on Disney +, as well. It's coming up on the
- 4:19Speaker 2: 18th and 19th of the month. So we're done with it.
- 4:23Speaker 2: Labor Day. You know, after we finish I already music
- 4:26Speaker 2: festival weekend, it is time to start honing in on
- 4:29Speaker 2: fall autumn, if you call it that.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Right.
- 4:31Speaker 2: And then the holidays.
- 4:33Speaker 4: I think that it's now time to decorate for Halloween.
- 4:37Speaker 4: Like we're done with Labor Day weekend. I think that
- 4:39Speaker 4: is like the official unofficial.
- 4:41Speaker 3: End of summer.
- 4:43Speaker 4: And I have so much Halloween stuff that I need
- 4:45Speaker 4: to just like start putting out.
- 4:48Speaker 3: And I think it's okay.
- 4:49Speaker 2: I actually am looking at all of the things on
- 4:52Speaker 2: the radar that are not good on this planet. I'm
- 4:56Speaker 2: for it. We need more things to look forward to
- 4:59Speaker 2: and more things to get together for. And Halloween, it
- 5:02Speaker 2: brings us together. It does. It brings families together. It
- 5:05Speaker 2: gets people to wear almost no clothes in some places.
- 5:08Speaker 3: Depending on what type of party you're going to.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Depending on what party you're going to. I've never seen
- 5:12Speaker 2: so much not clothing on a holiday.
- 5:14Speaker 9: Exactly.
- 5:14Speaker 4: And also the stores have been putting this in our
- 5:17Speaker 4: brain after the 4th of July. That's really the decor
- 5:21Speaker 4: was at HomeGoods, Target, Walmart. It was everywhere. Right after
- 5:25Speaker 4: the 4th of July ended, it was basically Halloween.
- 5:27Speaker 2: So I've been holding back. But after the heat. I'm
- 5:28Speaker 2: ready for all these holidays. It's going to be, I mean,
- 5:31Speaker 2: it's a slew of them. And frankly, let's line them up.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Let's get it going. Get your Halloween on, get your
- 5:35Speaker 2: Thanksgiving on. And then it's time for the big one. Christmas, Hanukkah,
- 5:40Speaker 2: the new year celebration. I'm absolutely excited.
- 5:43Speaker 3: For your birthday.
- 5:44Speaker 2: Oh, I don't look forward to that anymore.
- 5:48Speaker 4: Oh, really?
- 5:48Speaker 2: Don't steal my costume idea and don't tell everybody about
- 5:53Speaker 2: it that I might be, I'm considering at the top
- 5:55Speaker 2: of my list, a LaBooBoo collector.
- 5:57Speaker 3: You already told everybody this. Yeah, you told us this already.
- 5:59Speaker 2: I know, but I'm just telling you not to share
- 6:00Speaker 2: it with too many people. So in case we go somewhere,
- 6:03Speaker 2: I'm the only LaBooBoo collector there.
- 6:05Speaker 3: I think you're going to be.
- 6:06Speaker 4: The only LaBooBoo collector.
- 6:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't think you have to.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Worry about anybody taking that idea. I have a feeling
- 6:08Speaker 2: it's going to be very hot.
- 6:09Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 6:10Speaker 2: It's probably one of the hottest costumes this year. A
- 6:12Speaker 2: little boo boo collector.
- 6:13Speaker 3: You're going to be hot wearing that.
- 6:14Speaker 7: All those.
- 6:15Speaker 2: No, it's all. I just, I just have to pin
- 6:17Speaker 2: them to myself or clip them to myself.
- 6:18Speaker 7: It's great.
- 6:19Speaker 2: I can wear my normal clothes and then put little
- 6:20Speaker 2: boo boos all over my thighs, my knees and my chest.
- 6:23Speaker 4: I told you my best Halloween costume that I ever did.
- 6:26Speaker 4: That was like, so last minute was an American idol contestant,
- 6:29Speaker 4: normal clothes. And you put an American idol sticker on
- 6:31Speaker 4: your stomach.
- 6:32Speaker 2: I could do that. I can get one of those stickers.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Super official.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Halloween, 53 days away. Now, Pink Panther and Zara Larson,
- 6:42Speaker 2: 102.7 Kiss FM. I can't be bothered to type anymore.
- 6:46Speaker 2: I cannot.
- 6:48Speaker 3: I've noticed that about you.
- 6:50Speaker 2: I'm getting tunnel carpool. I'm getting tennis elbow. Whatever it is,
- 6:55Speaker 2: I'm getting it. Tunnel carpool. Yeah, I'm carpooling my tunnel.
- 7:00Speaker 2: And I'm tired of it. I cannot type anymore. Honestly,
- 7:04Speaker 2: I can't even dictate anymore because I forget to turn
- 7:07Speaker 2: off the microphone and it continues to record my other conversation.
- 7:10Speaker 1: I know.
- 7:10Speaker 3: That is annoying when that happens.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Oh, I'd love to be on the receiving end of that.
- 7:14Speaker 2: I'm going full voice note. Don't you get.
- 7:17Speaker 1: Weirded out when someone keeps your voice note? Like when
- 7:19Speaker 1: it says keep?
- 7:20Speaker 2: I actually don't know. Can't it disappear? I want to
- 7:23Speaker 2: set mine to disappear. Ruby, you're into voice notes, right?
- 7:26Speaker 6: I am.
- 7:26Speaker 10: I'm not mad at voice notes, but I do think
- 7:28Speaker 10: that we need a little bit of etiquette when it
- 7:30Speaker 10: comes to voice notes.
- 7:32Speaker 2: Like, for example, what?
- 7:34Speaker 10: The other day, I'm used to getting five-minute voice notes,
- 7:37Speaker 10: three-minute voice notes. I got a 17-minute voice note.
- 7:43Speaker 2: I didn't know they record that long. That's a podcast.
- 7:45Speaker 1: It was a podcast.
- 7:46Speaker 10: I listened to it as if it was a podcast
- 7:49Speaker 10: on the 134, just driving in.
- 7:51Speaker 2: I can't even talk for that long, and I do
- 7:54Speaker 2: this for a living.
- 7:55Speaker 7: Yes.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Yeah, by yourself?
- 7:57Speaker 2: I don't think so.
- 7:59Speaker 1: A 17-minute break? Mark would lose it.
- 8:01Speaker 2: I know, right? 17 minutes of this, we would be
- 8:03Speaker 2: fired without taking a break playing a song. So I actually,
- 8:07Speaker 2: so when somebody sends me a voice note, I look
- 8:09Speaker 2: to see how long, and then I roll my eyes. Yeah,
- 8:12Speaker 2: I read it. Yeah, because I can scroll. I don't
- 8:15Speaker 2: even listen to it. I scroll to see if there's
- 8:17Speaker 2: anything interesting inside of it. And if I do play
- 8:20Speaker 2: it back, I speed it up. You know that trick?
- 8:22Speaker 7: No.
- 8:23Speaker 2: Oh, you can speed up playback. Two, three times.
- 8:25Speaker 4: I like just doing the microphone and it types it
- 8:27Speaker 4: out for me. So it's not recording my voice. It
- 8:29Speaker 4: just types it out and.
- 8:30Speaker 1: I send it as a text.
- 8:31Speaker 2: I'm done with that too. It does not type correctly
- 8:33Speaker 2: and it continues to record when I'm talking. It continues
- 8:36Speaker 2: to type. Sometimes I'll be saying something to the phone
- 8:41Speaker 2: and I'll say something as an aside and then it
- 8:43Speaker 2: types that. So no, I'm all voice notes, but I'm
- 8:45Speaker 2: with you. If you're going to leave a voice note, brevity.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Think of that word, brevity. That's the key word. Brevity
- 8:51Speaker 2: is the key to a good voice note. Just get
- 8:53Speaker 2: in there and get out. Don't need to hide. Don't
- 8:55Speaker 2: need to buy. Don't need greetings. Just what's the point?
- 8:58Speaker 2: It's like the way I like meetings. What's the point
- 9:00Speaker 2: of the meeting? Why are we here? Just start. Don't
- 9:02Speaker 2: ask me how I was, what I did. What are
- 9:04Speaker 2: we doing? Three minutes. There's a meeting.
- 9:07Speaker 4: If someone leaves you a voice note, then do you
- 9:09Speaker 4: need to leave them a voice note back or can
- 9:11Speaker 4: you text them back?
- 9:11Speaker 1: Never.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Most people, they volley a voice note back. That's the
- 9:16Speaker 2: right thing to do.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Is that what you want?
- 9:17Speaker 3: That's the right thing for you?
- 9:18Speaker 2: Yeah. That's what most people do. I think that's etiquette too.
- 9:20Speaker 2: You lob one in, they lob one back. That's the
- 9:22Speaker 2: way it rules.
- 9:23Speaker 1: That's a lot of pressure. What if you don't want
- 9:24Speaker 1: to be a voice person? I don't. I text back
- 9:27Speaker 1: every voice note I get.
- 9:28Speaker 3: That seems odd for you. I feel like you like FaceTime.
- 9:31Speaker 2: And all that. You left a 17-minute voice note. I
- 9:33Speaker 2: love a FaceTime.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Why can't you do a voice note?
- 9:38Speaker 2: Hey, how to speed it up? Tap and hold the
- 9:40Speaker 2: play button on the audio message and choose a faster
- 9:43Speaker 2: speed option. That 17 could have been three minutes, Ruby.
- 9:46Speaker 3: Not right with the technology.
- 9:49Speaker 2: It's not technology. It's efficiency. That's what motivated me. Four
- 9:52Speaker 2: months left in this year. Things are going to keep
- 9:55Speaker 2: getting more expensive by the end of the year. Let
- 9:56Speaker 2: me tell you about the list, the top three things next. 102.7,
- 10:00Speaker 2: it's Kiss FM. Seacrest with you. All right, so I've
- 10:03Speaker 2: got a quote of the day, but first, things are
- 10:06Speaker 2: going to continue to increase in price. And here's the
- 10:09Speaker 2: top three that you should be aware of. It's a
- 10:12Speaker 2: public service warning. Economists are saying restaurant meals, streaming services,
- 10:17Speaker 2: and utility bills, electricity and gas, are going to continue
- 10:20Speaker 2: to go up by the end of the year. We're
- 10:23Speaker 2: on top of this whole streaming price increase. Because now
- 10:27Speaker 2: it's like, keep raising the streaming price, welcome back commercials.
- 10:31Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Let's sit through the commercials. Remember we cut the cord,
- 10:34Speaker 2: now we're welcoming eight cords back?
- 10:36Speaker 1: It used to be.
- 10:37Speaker 4: Like $ 4, and now every year it's like.
- 10:39Speaker 1: $ 2 more, $ 2 more, $ 2 more, $ 2 more. YouTube, YouTube.
- 10:43Speaker 2: Anyway, we're paying your bills. That is the good news.
- 10:45Speaker 2: With all of this on the rise, KISS pays your bills.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Make sure you get in on that at KISSfm.com. Today's quote,
- 10:51Speaker 2: Sisney Tanya, the back room. The only person to come
- 10:56Speaker 2: to save you is the version of yourself that is
- 10:58Speaker 2: tired of your current situation. You can't do it until
- 11:01Speaker 2: you want to do it by yourself. Amen. You've got
- 11:03Speaker 2: to get there on your own.
- 11:04Speaker 1: That's right, brother.
- 11:05Speaker 3: Okay.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Brother?
- 11:08Speaker 2: Were you even listening to.
- 11:09Speaker 1: What I was saying?
- 11:10Speaker 2: Yeah, I was. That's right, brother. It's like a response
- 11:13Speaker 2: I say when I don't hear what they said.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Now I know that about you.
- 11:16Speaker 2: I don't know what you said. That's the worst in
- 11:18Speaker 2: a relationship when she goes, what did I just say?
- 11:23Speaker 2: You were saying something.
- 11:27Speaker 1: Why can't you listen to her?
- 11:29Speaker 2: I'm making this up. Don't let your point seven kiss FM. Tuesday,
- 11:34Speaker 2: September 8th. Hopefully had a nice Labor Day weekend. Always
- 11:37Speaker 2: love a three day and a short one. Four coming
- 11:41Speaker 2: up right now. We're into it. Tuesday's your Monday. And
- 11:44Speaker 2: then tomorrow's your Wednesday.
- 11:46Speaker 1: That's how I clock the week.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Today's your Monday. It's all of a sudden your Wednesday.
- 11:51Speaker 6: Yeah, really Tuesday, but it's Monday.
- 11:53Speaker 2: Gosh, the games I play in my head about that.
- 11:55Speaker 2: Do the same thing. Are you dating? Second date update.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Listen to this one. They met at a Dodger bar.
- 12:01Speaker 2: They went to the game Friday night, Saturday morning. She
- 12:03Speaker 2: woke up to a blow off text. Wants to know why.
- 12:06Speaker 2: That's coming after 7. Sissany with the headlines. KISS FM
- 12:09Speaker 2: headlines with Sissany.
- 12:10Speaker 4: Well, Southern California got about an inch of rain over
- 12:13Speaker 4: the weekend from Tropical Storm Marie, with a few more
- 12:16Speaker 4: showers possible today before the heat returns tomorrow. The Emmy
- 12:20Speaker 4: Awards are tonight, but some were given out over the weekend.
- 12:23Speaker 4: Bad Bunny won six for his Super Bowl halftime show,
- 12:26Speaker 4: and Sabrina Carpenter won as an executive producer for The
- 12:29Speaker 4: Muppet Show. Eric and Lyle Menendez were granted an early
- 12:33Speaker 4: parole hearing, which is tentatively scheduled for next March. And
- 12:37Speaker 4: Six Flags Magic Mountain is launching a new payment option
- 12:41Speaker 4: that lets guests pay monthly for season passes.
- 12:45Speaker 2: It is 102.7. Kiss FM paying your bills. Is rent
- 12:49Speaker 2: eating up 40% of your budget? Let me get in
- 12:52Speaker 2: on that. Coming up in a few minutes, I will
- 12:55Speaker 2: call another name. Sign up to get your bills paid
- 12:58Speaker 2: at kissfm.com. Keyword bills. Slang. I kind of love it.
- 13:04Speaker 2: The vocabulary that I don't always use, but I hear,
- 13:06Speaker 2: and then I start to, I LARP myself and use it.
- 13:10Speaker 3: You incorporate it into your life.
- 13:12Speaker 2: I haven't even called it Chud here and there. No.
- 13:15Speaker 2: But we looked up, and this actually went deep in,
- 13:17Speaker 2: I don't mind it. I think Chud's a great dog name.
- 13:20Speaker 8: Chud.
- 13:21Speaker 6: Aw.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Chuddy.
- 13:23Speaker 7: Chud, Chud.
- 13:24Speaker 3: It's endearing.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Assistant went deep on, so it was the most searched
- 13:28Speaker 2: slang right now. Let's see if any of us are
- 13:30Speaker 2: using it.
- 13:30Speaker 4: It was Word Unscrambler that looked at Google search trends
- 13:33Speaker 4: that came up with the most searched slang terms for
- 13:35Speaker 4: 2026 so far. And some of these make a lot
- 13:39Speaker 4: of sense. And some of them I was actually surprised about,
- 13:41Speaker 4: like six, seven. Because I felt like that was more 2025.
- 13:44Speaker 4: But the fact that people were still searching it this year,
- 13:49Speaker 4: and it was the number one search slang with 1.6
- 13:52Speaker 4: million searches. So it just goes to show that people
- 13:55Speaker 4: were like, what is 6-7? I still want to know
- 13:57Speaker 4: what that is. And if you don't know, it basically
- 14:00Speaker 4: means nothing. Then you got Chud, like you were saying,
- 14:03Speaker 4: which is basically calling somebody a loser.
- 14:04Speaker 3: So I don't know if I like Chud so much.
- 14:07Speaker 2: One of our interns was like, this guy came into
- 14:10Speaker 2: the coffee shop, ice cream shop, and was such a Chud.
- 14:13Speaker 2: And I thought at first... Can we air the word chug?
- 14:17Speaker 2: Did that just go out? I didn't even know. Is
- 14:18Speaker 2: that bad? Is that profanity? Me too.
- 14:20Speaker 1: I thought it was like a dirty word.
- 14:22Speaker 2: I always say to Mark, go check that and apologize
- 14:25Speaker 2: or write a statement or something if we need to.
- 14:27Speaker 2: But chug is fine.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:29Speaker 2: What else is on the top search slang list?
- 14:30Speaker 1: Mogging.
- 14:31Speaker 4: When you completely outshine somebody like Ryan showed up in
- 14:35Speaker 4: a sharp tailored suit and mogged everyone else at the party.
- 14:38Speaker 2: You want to be a mogger?
- 14:39Speaker 4: Yes.
- 14:39Speaker 2: Bella, do you guys use this on the campus? Mogging?
- 14:42Speaker 1: Yeah, we use it with Greek life too.
- 14:44Speaker 2: Okay, but don't you want to be a mogger?
- 14:47Speaker 3: I am a mogger.
- 14:48Speaker 2: Yeah, like I want to roll in mogging it up
- 14:51Speaker 2: and cooking as well.
- 14:53Speaker 3: Cooking was not on the list.
- 14:54Speaker 1: Cooking is like.
- 14:55Speaker 2: Well, I'm going to mog up my... I'm going to
- 14:56Speaker 2: cook when I mog in. Go ahead. What else is
- 14:58Speaker 2: on the sun list?
- 14:58Speaker 1: I love this one.
- 14:58Speaker 3: Aura points.
- 14:59Speaker 4: The imaginary points you gain or lose based on how
- 15:02Speaker 4: cool you look. Stripping is negative aura points. Parallel parking
- 15:05Speaker 4: perfectly on a busy street is positive aura points.
- 15:09Speaker 2: Bro is LARPing as a chud farming some negative aura.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Does that mean anything?
- 15:14Speaker 1: I think it does.
- 15:15Speaker 2: It might mean something. It's farming something, Bella?
- 15:18Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 15:18Speaker 3: Aura farming.
- 15:19Speaker 2: What is farming? I hear farming.
- 15:21Speaker 1: Like aura farming or aura maxing. Like you're trying to
- 15:24Speaker 1: get more.
- 15:25Speaker 2: This is all stuff that we do. Right. Like LARPing.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Everyone LARPs on Instagram. There's no one not LARPing on
- 15:33Speaker 2: social media.
- 15:34Speaker 3: It's like the definition of Instagram.
- 15:35Speaker 1: Yes.
- 15:35Speaker 2: All right. So I'm going to give somebody here. some
- 15:40Speaker 2: points or something free from the prize closet. If you
- 15:43Speaker 2: work in one of these in the next week, casually
- 15:47Speaker 2: and perfectly and organically when we're having some dialogue. So
- 15:50Speaker 2: good luck to all of you. Could be Ruby. Could
- 15:53Speaker 2: be Bella. Could be Sisney. Michaela could be talking about
- 15:55Speaker 2: dating because you mug when you date.
- 15:56Speaker 3: So fun.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Put on your clogs and mug. Could be Tanya, but
- 16:00Speaker 2: you have to use it properly and subtly. You cannot
- 16:02Speaker 2: force it. Tanya, that's to you.
- 16:03Speaker 6: I'm already thinking about what we're doing next and how
- 16:06Speaker 6: I can work it in there.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Okay, this is KISS. Time for a second date update.
- 16:12Speaker 2: I don't know. Sometimes strange things happen when you meet
- 16:15Speaker 2: new people. And you think it's going great, and it's
- 16:18Speaker 2: just not. Especially when you date. So, Christina's online. She
- 16:23Speaker 2: met this guy at the Dodger game. Did you meet
- 16:25Speaker 2: at the game or a bar?
- 16:27Speaker 7: Yeah, I met him at a Dodger bar at Game Changer.
- 16:31Speaker 2: A bar. And then you went to a game.
- 16:34Speaker 7: Yes, we did.
- 16:35Speaker 2: Okay, so... that's a fun date to go to the
- 16:38Speaker 2: Dodger game. You had a good time. And then what's
- 16:40Speaker 2: interesting is the next morning he blew you off via text.
- 16:44Speaker 2: What did he text you? Yeah.
- 16:46Speaker 7: Um, I texted to tell him, thank you for the game.
- 16:50Speaker 7: I had a really good time and he just wrote back.
- 16:53Speaker 7: You're very welcome. I had fun at the game with you,
- 16:56Speaker 7: but I just don't feel that romantic connection between us.
- 16:59Speaker 7: I wanted to be upfront about it and I wish
- 17:01Speaker 7: you the best.
- 17:03Speaker 2: I think that's great.
- 17:04Speaker 3: Well, I don't hate it either, actually.
- 17:05Speaker 2: He was very upfront and.
- 17:07Speaker 1: To the point.
- 17:07Speaker 2: The guy's not gaslighting. He's not leading you on. He's
- 17:12Speaker 2: being absolutely honest and transparent with the way he feels.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Why do you want to push on that?
- 17:19Speaker 7: Well, I'm not someone who gets dumped very often, and
- 17:23Speaker 7: I want to know what went wrong.
- 17:25Speaker 2: But, Christina— You're talking to someone that has dated a lot,
- 17:29Speaker 2: meaning a long time. When you say that, all I
- 17:33Speaker 2: hear is you don't care about him. You care about you.
- 17:35Speaker 2: That's your ego wanting to know about you, not him.
- 17:37Speaker 4: Well, then what's wrong with Christina trying to better herself
- 17:40Speaker 4: and see what did go wrong?
- 17:41Speaker 2: I didn't hear I want to better myself. I heard
- 17:43Speaker 2: I never get dumped.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Yeah, and he sounds like a chud, so let's move on.
- 17:46Speaker 2: Why does he sound like a chud? Because he's not.
- 17:48Speaker 2: And that was the wrong usage.
- 17:49Speaker 1: Yeah, that was the wrong usage.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Now you're LARPing as a slanger.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Yeah, zero aura points for you.
- 17:54Speaker 2: The judge on this is going to be our intern
- 17:56Speaker 2: because she actually lives the Greek life on USC's campus.
- 17:58Speaker 2: I'm going to.
- 17:59Speaker 4: Agree with Tanya.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Oh, we're smacking your face.
- 18:04Speaker 2: No one says that anymore either.
- 18:05Speaker 10: Oh my gosh.
- 18:06Speaker 2: Smacking your face, nobody says. Sorry, Christina, we're farming right now.
- 18:14Speaker 2: The thing is, I like... the transparency and the upfrontness,
- 18:20Speaker 2: but if you want us to push, we will call
- 18:23Speaker 2: him and find out why. So, you know, if you,
- 18:25Speaker 2: as Cisney says, want to better yourself and your game
- 18:28Speaker 2: going forward. Okay.
- 18:31Speaker 7: Yeah. Great.
- 18:32Speaker 2: We'll try and track down Leo. Let's kiss. It's time
- 18:37Speaker 2: for the confrontation. In a second date update on 102.7,
- 18:42Speaker 2: kiss FM, Cisney, Tanya, putting on her chapstick. for this call.
- 18:47Speaker 2: Don't want any lip smacking. That's good.
- 18:49Speaker 1: No, no, no, no, no, no drying it.
- 18:50Speaker 2: Grease them up. So here's the thing. Christina reaches out
- 18:52Speaker 2: to us. She's like, I don't get it. No one
- 18:54Speaker 2: dumps me. Everyone wants to go out with me after
- 18:57Speaker 2: I go out with them. And I meet this guy
- 19:00Speaker 2: and we go out Dodger game. And then the next
- 19:03Speaker 2: day on Saturday morning, he blew me off. He basically said,
- 19:07Speaker 2: you're not for me. We're not for each other. It
- 19:09Speaker 2: was an honest upfront text, not leading her on. Not gaslighting.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Just saying how he felt.
- 19:15Speaker 1: But why?
- 19:16Speaker 2: I advocate it. I don't care why. I advocate it.
- 19:19Speaker 2: I think that was the right thing to do. She, Christina,
- 19:23Speaker 2: is here because she does want to know why. Christina,
- 19:26Speaker 2: do you have any idea what it could be? Why
- 19:30Speaker 2: would he blow you off?
- 19:32Speaker 7: No, I really don't know why.
- 19:34Speaker 2: I'm going to talk to him about it now. Be
- 19:36Speaker 2: very quiet, okay?
- 19:38Speaker 7: Okay.
- 19:39Speaker 2: Here we go. Hi, Leo, Ryan Seacrest, Cisney Tanya on
- 19:43Speaker 2: KISS FM. You're on the air with us. How are you? Hey,
- 19:46Speaker 2: how's it going? Good, bro. So I want to talk
- 19:49Speaker 2: to you about your dating life. Christina, you met her
- 19:52Speaker 2: and you took her out to a Dodger game. How
- 19:54Speaker 2: did it go? She's nice.
- 20:00Speaker 5: She's, you know, pretty girl, fun. I mean, it was good.
- 20:06Speaker 2: I understand you blew her off afterwards. What was the reason? Well, no,
- 20:13Speaker 2: not technically.
- 20:14Speaker 5: I did text her the next morning.
- 20:15Speaker 2: And why'd you text her?
- 20:23Speaker 5: She's like, I don't know. Like I said, she's fun,
- 20:26Speaker 5: but she gets very like, I don't know, passionate, I
- 20:29Speaker 5: would say.
- 20:30Speaker 7: About the Dodgers.
- 20:32Speaker 2: And the problem is?
- 20:33Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I get that.
- 20:38Speaker 5: She loves Michelada.
- 20:41Speaker 2: Like, I don't know.
- 20:42Speaker 5: She put like three of those down and I almost
- 20:46Speaker 5: got into a couple of fights because of her.
- 20:49Speaker 2: You mean the beer and tomato juice?
- 20:51Speaker 3: You mean Michelada?
- 20:53Speaker 5: Yeah, she was getting real sassy to like a lot
- 20:56Speaker 5: of people there, just like yelling at them, F-bombs. Like
- 21:00Speaker 5: she saw some Washington fans and she was just.
- 21:03Speaker 2: Like relentless, dude.
- 21:04Speaker 5: It was like, I don't know, kind of embarrassing, honestly.
- 21:07Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 21:08Speaker 2: I got you. So her attitude towards others spiced itself
- 21:15Speaker 2: up with the micheladas. Gotcha. So not for you. And
- 21:17Speaker 2: you told her and you moved on. All good, right?
- 21:19Speaker 7: Fair.
- 21:20Speaker 6: Pretty much, yeah.
- 21:22Speaker 2: Now, what if I told you no one ever blows
- 21:24Speaker 2: her off? I'd be surprised. Well, she's on the line
- 21:29Speaker 2: right now. Christina, does it make sense why he was
- 21:34Speaker 2: not drawn towards you because of your post-michelada action?
- 21:40Speaker 7: Oh, it wasn't that bad, was it? Come on.
- 21:42Speaker 5: I mean, yeah, it was pretty bad. You knocked the
- 21:47Speaker 5: nachos out of this guy's hand. I had to freaking
- 21:49Speaker 5: give him 20 bucks because he was like losing his mind.
- 21:53Speaker 7: That was an accident and it was his fault.
- 21:56Speaker 2: It's a little sloppy, Christina, to be honest with you.
- 21:59Speaker 3: Right.
- 22:00Speaker 2: It's a little sloppy, especially on a first date, first impression.
- 22:05Speaker 7: All right. I mean, I was a little drunk and
- 22:07Speaker 7: I yelled at some nationals. And I get it.
- 22:10Speaker 2: Okay. Well, you wanted to know, and now you know. Yeah.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Case closed.
- 22:14Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 22:16Speaker 2: Room for improvement. Okay. Well, this is great progress. We're
- 22:22Speaker 2: going to move on. And so should you, Christina and Leo.
- 22:24Speaker 2: Thank you very much for coming on with us.
- 22:26Speaker 7: Okay.
- 22:27Speaker 2: No problem, guys. Okay. Bye-bye. I mean, good on him
- 22:31Speaker 2: for not just ghosting and saying, hey, I just think
- 22:33Speaker 2: we're not a match. And now we know why.
- 22:35Speaker 4: Mm-hmm.
- 22:36Speaker 2: I think that's a turnoff. Knocking guys' nachos out of
- 22:38Speaker 2: his hand at the game is not cool.
- 22:40Speaker 4: I remember I went on a first date once, and
- 22:42Speaker 4: he got so wasted, and that was it for me.
- 22:43Speaker 2: I was like, nope, bye. Well, maybe that was your fault.
- 22:46Speaker 3: No, and that says a lot coming from me.
- 22:50Speaker 8: Kiss.
- 22:51Speaker 2: On air with Ryan Seacrest. Drop dead. 2.7, it's Kiss FM.
- 22:58Speaker 2: All right, Mikayla in the back room. She's single. She's ready.
- 23:02Speaker 2: She's played on Hinge a lot. Now she wants to
- 23:04Speaker 2: meet somebody.
- 23:04Speaker 1: You don't play on Hinge.
- 23:06Speaker 2: Tanya, I know what you do. You play the game
- 23:10Speaker 2: of Hinge.
- 23:10Speaker 4: Yeah, it is kind of like a game. I swiped
- 23:12Speaker 4: through her Raya the other day, and I was like, oh,
- 23:14Speaker 4: this is fun.
- 23:15Speaker 1: X check.
- 23:17Speaker 2: Now on Hinge, you can get endorsements, and I'm here
- 23:19Speaker 2: to endorse. So you sent me the link. I'm linking up.
- 23:23Speaker 1: The link is worrying me.
- 23:25Speaker 2: Why are you worried? I'm going to give her a
- 23:27Speaker 2: great endorsement.
- 23:27Speaker 3: Because you can't even sign into a Teams meeting.
- 23:29Speaker 2: I don't want to be on a Teams meeting.
- 23:31Speaker 7: Call me.
- 23:31Speaker 3: Or Zoom meeting. Anything with a link.
- 23:33Speaker 2: I assume I'm fine with. This whole Teams software is ridiculous.
- 23:36Speaker 2: Movie screener. What's your take on Michaela? Share something about
- 23:41Speaker 2: her for Hinge Profile. I'm going that way. Okay. So, ready?
- 23:46Speaker 2: I'm going to say, like, is my voice that I'm
- 23:48Speaker 2: going to record?
- 23:49Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 23:50Speaker 1: So, put your phone up to your mouth.
- 23:52Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 23:52Speaker 2: Okay. Okay. Hi, this is Ryan, Michaela's friend, colleague at
- 23:59Speaker 2: work at Kiss FM, where she is a diligent and
- 24:01Speaker 2: hard worker in the back room. I would say Michaela
- 24:04Speaker 2: is one of the most reliable people on the staff here. Fun, charming, outgoing, skippity.
- 24:10Speaker 2: Skippity is her personality. She's very skippity. And not for anything.
- 24:15Speaker 2: So if you'd like to take her out, I suggest it.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Four stars.
- 24:20Speaker 3: Five stars.
- 24:22Speaker 2: Five stars. I recommend five stars. And please let me
- 24:25Speaker 2: know how it goes. Thank you for your interest in Michaela.
- 24:29Speaker 3: Oh, you sound like movie phone. Hi, welcome to movie phone.
- 24:34Speaker 2: I think people are going to love that Michaela.
- 24:37Speaker 3: I think so too. It's a, Fun conversation started, too.
- 24:39Speaker 2: That's an icebreaker, Sissany. I'm Uncle Ry-Ry to her.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Uncle Ry-Ry. First of all, you also.
- 24:44Speaker 6: Didn't let Tubbs answer from a dude's perspective.
- 24:47Speaker 2: What are you talking about? What's the question for Tubbs,
- 24:50Speaker 2: the engineer, about Michaela's engine doorstep?
- 24:52Speaker 6: Babe, Tubbs, as Tubbs, and he's like meat men.
- 24:56Speaker 1: He's like Tubbs, okay? Meat men! What do you mean
- 24:59Speaker 1: he's meat men?
- 25:00Speaker 7: He's meat men.
- 25:00Speaker 2: Hold on.
- 25:01Speaker 6: If you were single back in the day and you
- 25:03Speaker 6: were swiping on dating apps and you came across Michaela
- 25:06Speaker 6: and you were interested and she had an endorsement from
- 25:08Speaker 6: some other random dude, would you like that?
- 25:11Speaker 2: I would think it's weird.
- 25:13Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 25:13Speaker 3: Okay, but this is Ryan Seacrest.
- 25:16Speaker 2: It's fun. That makes it not weird.
- 25:19Speaker 1: It makes it not weird.
- 25:20Speaker 2: A little weird, but not bad.
- 25:22Speaker 1: It's not weird.
- 25:23Speaker 2: I work with her. I am a platonic colleague and
- 25:26Speaker 2: I have... dating observation credibility tub.
- 25:31Speaker 1: So lay off and you know her for years yeah and.
- 25:34Speaker 2: You guys are all married you're out of the game
- 25:35Speaker 2: so i don't.
- 25:36Speaker 1: Take any of this i'm on your side.
- 25:38Speaker 2: Here you are fine you're on the.
- 25:39Speaker 6: Team on the dating apps for like seven years it's
- 25:42Speaker 6: not like yeah you were never on them and neither
- 25:44Speaker 6: were you no offense it.
- 25:45Speaker 1: Was way before my time.
- 25:49Speaker 2: It's not like, hey, I'm Ryan. I'm her ex-husband. I
- 25:51Speaker 2: think she's great. I mean, relax.
- 25:53Speaker 1: That would be weird.
- 25:56Speaker 2: That would be weird. But let's get the ball rolling, Michaela.
- 25:59Speaker 2: Let me know about your flow after this.
- 26:01Speaker 1: Okay, I will.
- 26:02Speaker 2: Yeah. You watch out. She's going to be the number
- 26:04Speaker 2: one most interesting person.
- 26:06Speaker 1: On the internet.
- 26:07Speaker 3: Most wiped person in history.
- 26:08Speaker 2: Yeah, ever. I do have Gracie Abrams tickets for you
- 26:16Speaker 2: to win here in a second. Dua Lipa got married
- 26:20Speaker 2: to Callum Turner not too long ago. And the whole
- 26:23Speaker 2: day was pretty magical, people are saying. Tanya in the
- 26:25Speaker 2: Trending Report.
- 26:25Speaker 7: Yep.
- 26:26Speaker 6: And she says that she got a ton of wedding
- 26:28Speaker 6: advice from friends and family leading up to the big day.
- 26:31Speaker 6: But out of everything, they only decided to actually follow
- 26:35Speaker 6: two pieces of advice.
- 26:36Speaker 2: Number one.
- 26:38Speaker 6: Treat the day like you're a guest at your own wedding.
- 26:40Speaker 6: Don't get so caught up in hosting and running around
- 26:42Speaker 6: that you forget to actually be in it.
- 26:45Speaker 1: This is like the best advice.
- 26:47Speaker 6: I feel like oftentimes when I'm just like, even when
- 26:50Speaker 6: we're hosting Thanksgiving, Robbie and I are not together at all.
- 26:53Speaker 6: We're focusing on like making sure this person has a drink.
- 26:55Speaker 6: This person has a drink. This person's good. We're never
- 26:58Speaker 6: even together.
- 26:59Speaker 1: So this is like. the best piece of advice.
- 27:01Speaker 6: And then number two, no matter how big the crowd gets,
- 27:05Speaker 6: keep finding each other. Never lose sight of your person
- 27:07Speaker 6: in the room. And she said to herself, this way,
- 27:10Speaker 6: we really have a lot of memories together that night.
- 27:13Speaker 6: I think these are great, great tips for anybody getting married.
- 27:16Speaker 2: You make a good point. Thanksgiving, entertaining people in the evening.
- 27:22Speaker 2: I do not relax. I would not relax. If I
- 27:26Speaker 2: didn't think this through at my own wedding for those
- 27:29Speaker 2: very reasons, I mean, I can't have you guys over
- 27:31Speaker 2: and not think about is the lighting, right?
- 27:34Speaker 3: Oh, that's so cute that you think about the lighting.
- 27:37Speaker 2: I think about a lot of things for anybody.
- 27:40Speaker 1: I got this advice.
- 27:40Speaker 2: People I really know, people I don't know. I mean,
- 27:42Speaker 2: also it reminds me of, you know, when you are
- 27:45Speaker 2: eating somewhere and the food comes and then somebody at
- 27:48Speaker 2: the table is like, don't eat it. I got to
- 27:50Speaker 2: get a picture first.
- 27:51Speaker 1: Yeah. No, there's always one in the group.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Like why don't live in that moment, right? Be, be there.
- 27:57Speaker 6: Well, I mean, don't produce it like the phonies first.
- 28:01Speaker 2: No, no, no. You're producing the moment. That's why you're,
- 28:04Speaker 2: you just made the point. I don't produce your own wedding.
- 28:08Speaker 2: I am. I'm with it. I agree with it. I
- 28:11Speaker 2: subscribed to it.
- 28:11Speaker 4: I got that advice before my wedding and it was
- 28:13Speaker 4: the best advice to do not lose each other for
- 28:15Speaker 4: more than five, 10 minutes.
- 28:16Speaker 1: Keep finding each other because yeah, you could go.
- 28:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 28:19Speaker 1: So think about it.
- 28:20Speaker 6: You go in separate directions, even just like on the
- 28:23Speaker 6: dance floor, you have totally different memories and, and stuff
- 28:26Speaker 6: from your wedding.
- 28:27Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 28:27Speaker 2: You know, I, I don't, I don't oppose getting married.
- 28:32Speaker 2: I just don't know that it's totally necessary always for everybody.
- 28:37Speaker 2: And so my question is Sissany, why did you want
- 28:40Speaker 2: to get married?
- 28:41Speaker 3: It was always in my vision.
- 28:42Speaker 1: I always wanted to get married.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Why?
- 28:44Speaker 4: Because I wanted a partner. I wanted to share my
- 28:46Speaker 4: life with somebody.
- 28:47Speaker 2: Why can't you have a partner without a wedding?
- 28:49Speaker 3: I wanted to share my life with somebody that I love.
- 28:52Speaker 2: But that doesn't have to do with a wedding.
- 28:54Speaker 1: I wanted a wedding. I wanted that whole... But why?
- 28:57Speaker 3: Because I wanted it!
- 28:59Speaker 6: No, no.
- 29:00Speaker 2: Tanya, why did you want to get married?
- 29:02Speaker 6: Same thing. I wanted to share my life with somebody.
- 29:06Speaker 6: I wanted to be legally bound and one with somebody.
- 29:10Speaker 6: I do think changing my last name was very powerful.
- 29:13Speaker 6: It made me feel very empowered. I felt like I
- 29:15Speaker 6: was shifting into a new season of life. And I'm
- 29:17Speaker 6: also so obsessed with being married. I wish I would
- 29:19Speaker 6: have done it so much sooner.
- 29:20Speaker 2: Makeda, why do you want to get married?
- 29:23Speaker 8: I agree with Tanya. I think it's just a bond
- 29:25Speaker 8: with somebody. And that's just like a next phase in life.
- 29:28Speaker 8: I've always wanted to get married. You make a promise
- 29:31Speaker 8: with that person to just, you know.
- 29:34Speaker 3: It's beautiful.
- 29:35Speaker 1: You would understand if you were married, but you're not married.
- 29:38Speaker 1: You don't get it.
- 29:39Speaker 2: People say to me. why aren't you married? You don't
- 29:43Speaker 2: have kids?
- 29:45Speaker 1: Well, why aren't you married? That is a good question.
- 29:47Speaker 1: Have you answered that for yourself?
- 29:48Speaker 2: I don't feel the same obligation or need. I don't
- 29:52Speaker 2: feel like I need it.
- 29:53Speaker 1: Those are your needs.
- 29:55Speaker 4: We have different needs because we believe and want different things.
- 29:58Speaker 1: In our life.
- 29:59Speaker 2: But it doesn't mean I can't change my mind.
- 30:02Speaker 1: I think you will change your mind because it's honestly
- 30:04Speaker 1: so fun.
- 30:05Speaker 2: You've been in it for a day.
- 30:07Speaker 3: Yeah, Tanya.
- 30:08Speaker 2: Talk to me in 56 years. I mean, you are
- 30:10Speaker 2: like junior varsity.
- 30:11Speaker 3: I don't care.
- 30:12Speaker 1: I'm obsessed with being married.
- 30:13Speaker 2: Yeah, well, you.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Go the newlywed stage.
- 30:16Speaker 2: Gosh, let's play a game for Gracie Abrams tickets next
- 30:18Speaker 2: at Kiss FM. Kiss FM. All right, let's go. Gracie
- 30:22Speaker 2: Abrams tickets. We're going to play That's So True or False.
- 30:25Speaker 2: Good morning. In which year.
- 30:30Speaker 2: How are you?
- 30:30Speaker 1: Hi, I'm good. Thank you, Ryan.
- 30:33Speaker 2: Oh, good. Well, I'm glad you're listening to us. We
- 30:35Speaker 2: appreciate that.
- 30:38Speaker 7: I love listening to you every morning.
- 30:40Speaker 2: Thank you. We'd like to do it for you every day.
- 30:43Speaker 2: So here's what we're going to do. We're going to
- 30:44Speaker 2: play the game called Gracie Abrams. That's so true or false.
- 30:55Speaker 2: All right. You got to get three right before you
- 30:56Speaker 2: get three wrong. I'll give you a fun fact. And
- 30:59Speaker 2: you have to say, that's so true or false. Okay?
- 31:05Speaker 2: For example, Gracie was drunk when she wrote, that's so true.
- 31:10Speaker 2: Is that so true or false?
- 31:13Speaker 5: False.
- 31:14Speaker 2: That's so true. That's so true. She and Audrey Hobart
- 31:18Speaker 2: wrote it drinking together on a rooftop. So that is
- 31:21Speaker 2: so true.
- 31:22Speaker 3: How cute.
- 31:23Speaker 2: Okay. Now you got to get this one. Gracie, for
- 31:26Speaker 2: so that Gracie Abrams tickets. Gracie can do a perfect
- 31:29Speaker 2: gymnastic handspring.
- 31:32Speaker 1: True.
- 31:33Speaker 2: That's so true.
- 31:34Speaker 6: Wait, I want to hear what the false one is.
- 31:40Speaker 1: What kind of handspring is it? Back handspring?
- 31:44Speaker 2: Front handspring? Listen to the interview she did. False. Next one.
- 31:53Speaker 2: Gracie Abrams, childhood crush. Was Zac Efron, that's so true
- 31:58Speaker 2: or false?
- 32:01Speaker 7: True.
- 32:02Speaker 2: No, that's so false. It was Robert Downey Jr. False. Okay,
- 32:11Speaker 2: so you got to get one more to win here.
- 32:13Speaker 2: Gracie had to quit competitive soccer as a kid after
- 32:16Speaker 2: she broke both wrists at the same time. Is that
- 32:19Speaker 2: so true or false? False. That's true. That is so true. Congratulations.
- 32:29Speaker 2: She broke both wrists. Yeah.
- 32:33Speaker 4: Oh, my God.
- 32:33Speaker 7: Great.
- 32:34Speaker 2: So you're going to go see her. That's great.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Thank you so much.
- 32:38Speaker 2: And one more for Sisney and Tanya. You already won,
- 32:41Speaker 2: but Sisney and Tanya. Gracie spent summers working as a
- 32:44Speaker 2: lifeguard at Zuma Beach. So true or so false?
- 32:48Speaker 1: So false.
- 32:50Speaker 2: False.
- 32:51Speaker 1: Okay.
- 32:52Speaker 2: Correct. All right, Hilda. Hold on one second. Thank you
- 32:56Speaker 2: for putting up with us. Coming back at KISS FM,
- 32:59Speaker 2: you're welcome.
- 33:01Speaker 1: On air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 33:06Speaker 2: What, 2.7 is KISS FM? I got to get Casey
- 33:08Speaker 2: and then I'm going to pay another bill here. So
- 33:09Speaker 2: that's the plan in the next couple of minutes. Silver Lake, Casey,
- 33:12Speaker 2: good morning.
- 33:14Speaker 4: Hi.
- 33:15Speaker 2: So your husband is on Raya and says he has
- 33:18Speaker 2: a good excuse as to why I don't understand. Well,
- 33:24Speaker 2: I don't either.
- 33:24Speaker 9: And I need a reality check because my husband's on
- 33:27Speaker 9: Raya and I'm not really sure how I feel about it.
- 33:30Speaker 9: He says he's not using it to date. He says
- 33:33Speaker 9: he's using it for networking because there are a lot
- 33:35Speaker 9: of people in his industry out there and it's a
- 33:37Speaker 9: good way to make professional connections.
- 33:39Speaker 7: And he has.
- 33:40Speaker 9: Been pretty open about it. He hasn't tried to hide
- 33:43Speaker 9: the fact that he's on there, which makes me feel
- 33:45Speaker 9: a little better about it. But then a friend of
- 33:48Speaker 9: mine recently saw his profile and texted me, why is
- 33:51Speaker 9: your husband on Raya?
- 33:53Speaker 7: And that was super embarrassing.
- 33:56Speaker 9: I trust my husband, and I don't have any evidence
- 34:01Speaker 9: that he's doing anything wrong. But I also can't help thinking,
- 34:06Speaker 9: if you're happily married, why do you need Raya to network?
- 34:10Speaker 2: Well, let me ask our expert, our resident Raya expert
- 34:13Speaker 2: in the back room, Michaela. Do people use Raya for
- 34:18Speaker 2: business networking?
- 34:20Speaker 8: Yes, you can. You can actually look in your area
- 34:23Speaker 8: to see who is around.
- 34:25Speaker 2: That is a cheat. In other words, that's a loophole.
- 34:28Speaker 2: I'm just on it because I want to meet people
- 34:30Speaker 2: for quote work.
- 34:31Speaker 1: But also like how embarrassing to his wife. You know
- 34:34Speaker 1: what I mean? Like your friend seeing him on there
- 34:36Speaker 1: is like so it.
- 34:37Speaker 3: I don't like that at all.
- 34:38Speaker 2: I don't love it. And by the way, so when
- 34:41Speaker 2: you say that it's not something that you are so
- 34:43Speaker 2: comfortable with, he says, I got to have it for work.
- 34:47Speaker 9: He says that, like, it's an easier way to network.
- 34:51Speaker 9: He works in entertainment, and there's a lot of people
- 34:53Speaker 9: in his industry on there.
- 34:55Speaker 2: Here's what we're going to do. Let's set up a
- 34:56Speaker 2: sting operation. So you get one of your friends on Raya,
- 35:02Speaker 2: or you as somebody else, to sting him, to, like,
- 35:07Speaker 2: flirt with him and see how he responds. Non-business.
- 35:09Speaker 7: Sting.
- 35:10Speaker 6: Think you realize how a dating app works i don't
- 35:14Speaker 6: you can't like search him and like match with him
- 35:16Speaker 6: like it's all.
- 35:17Speaker 2: Random based on my idea of his thing how do
- 35:19Speaker 2: we set it up that's.
- 35:20Speaker 1: The thing you can't it's all random it's all random
- 35:25Speaker 1: how you get.
- 35:26Speaker 4: Your matches we'll have him show you his conversations that
- 35:28Speaker 4: he's having okay.
- 35:33Speaker 6: I mean, the best we could do is get Michaela
- 35:35Speaker 6: on there to, like, just keep swiping until she finds him.
- 35:37Speaker 2: That's my... I could look.
- 35:40Speaker 8: In his area and see if he's on there and
- 35:42Speaker 8: see if it says here just for friends. And if
- 35:44Speaker 8: that's the case, then maybe he's not lying.
- 35:47Speaker 2: Yeah, Michaela's a pro. She's on it.
- 35:50Speaker 9: Okay, and so if he gets mad at me or
- 35:53Speaker 9: pushes back about how I don't trust him, it's valid
- 35:55Speaker 9: for me to ask.
- 35:57Speaker 2: Yeah, I just think... I think he's larping.
- 36:04Speaker 9: Okay.
- 36:05Speaker 2: Okay. Thank you, Casey. Okay. Thanks guys.
- 36:09Speaker 8: Bye.
- 36:09Speaker 2: Bye. I didn't know you could use Raya for business networking.
- 36:13Speaker 2: I thought it was all dating. No.
- 36:15Speaker 4: When I was on Michaela's app the other day, it
- 36:18Speaker 4: said here just for friends or it says, and you
- 36:20Speaker 4: can even put like when you're traveling, like right.
- 36:22Speaker 3: Now I'm traveling.
- 36:23Speaker 2: Why were you the other day on her Raya?
- 36:25Speaker 3: Oh, I was picking guys for her.
- 36:27Speaker 2: The things I miss. I'm out for lunch.
- 36:31Speaker 1: But like Bumble does it too. They Bumble BFF.
- 36:34Speaker 2: But do you look at Michaela's Bumble?
- 36:36Speaker 1: I do not.
- 36:38Speaker 2: Justine, do you?
- 36:38Speaker 1: Do you have a Bumble? I haven't used it in
- 36:41Speaker 1: a long time. Let's open that puppy.
- 36:44Speaker 2: Up and dust it off.
- 36:47Speaker 7: 102.7.
- 36:47Speaker 2: It's Kiss FM. We live in a, you know, don't
- 36:51Speaker 2: judge world, but we judge. judge in a bad way,
- 36:55Speaker 2: but we judge like we give our opinion.
- 36:56Speaker 3: We judge all day long, but.
- 36:59Speaker 2: You, the three of us judge each other. If we
- 37:02Speaker 2: didn't judge each other, what would we do here?
- 37:03Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 37:04Speaker 3: We have nothing to talk about.
- 37:05Speaker 2: With nothing to talk about. So I'm fine with it.
- 37:08Speaker 2: And it's not mean judge. It's, it's, it's opinion judge, right?
- 37:14Speaker 2: A thousand percent.
- 37:15Speaker 1: It's all in love.
- 37:16Speaker 2: It's feedback. Exactly. It's all for the betterment of your
- 37:20Speaker 2: human being. Tanya and Cicely and me. So, for example,
- 37:24Speaker 2: last week, Tanya, she vowed she would never again shame
- 37:28Speaker 2: any of us here for not seeing a certain TV
- 37:30Speaker 2: show or movie because she sees everything. And newsflash, we can't.
- 37:36Speaker 1: I only judge not watching Love Island, really.
- 37:40Speaker 2: I think you judge if I haven't seen Severance or Shrinking.
- 37:44Speaker 1: Oh, Breaking Bad?
- 37:45Speaker 2: Or Breaking Bad or Game of Thrones.
- 37:48Speaker 1: I never watched Game of Thrones either.
- 37:50Speaker 2: Well, somebody judged me about that. So we posted on
- 37:53Speaker 2: Instagram to see what you, listening, get shamed for. It
- 37:56Speaker 2: came back, Yesenia Long Beach said Grey's Anatomy. People are like,
- 37:59Speaker 2: you don't, what?
- 38:01Speaker 1: That's actually flabbergasting. Can't judge, Tanya.
- 38:04Speaker 2: Can't judge.
- 38:05Speaker 1: No, you learned so much in life through Grey's Anatomy.
- 38:08Speaker 2: Okay. Rhonda in Woodland Hills says The Office. Wow. We'll
- 38:11Speaker 2: judge her about The Office if she hasn't seen The Office.
- 38:15Speaker 2: Casey in Garden Grove, Christmas Vacation. I love that one.
- 38:19Speaker 1: I've never seen that either.
- 38:20Speaker 4: What?
- 38:21Speaker 1: Friends is.
- 38:23Speaker 2: Join La Crescenti, get judged for not seeing Friends. Okay,
- 38:25Speaker 2: Beth in Florida said Breaking Bad gets judged by. I've
- 38:28Speaker 2: not seen Breaking Bad. You like Breaking Bad?
- 38:30Speaker 1: It's iconic, yeah. You would love it. Pretty good. Ryan,
- 38:33Speaker 1: you would love it.
- 38:34Speaker 2: But why?
- 38:37Speaker 3: I'll tell you why.
- 38:38Speaker 2: That's why I asked.
- 38:39Speaker 6: It's a very interesting, out-of-the-box storyline.
- 38:44Speaker 1: It's so compelling.
- 38:46Speaker 6: You find yourself rooting for this bad guy, um, It's
- 38:52Speaker 6: so dichotomous.
- 38:53Speaker 1: It is excellent acting.
- 38:55Speaker 6: It is 10 out of 10 excellent television.
- 38:59Speaker 2: That was passionate.
- 39:00Speaker 3: That wasn't bad.
- 39:02Speaker 2: I like dichotomous storylines.
- 39:04Speaker 5: Yes.
- 39:06Speaker 7: Okay.
- 39:07Speaker 4: And action-packed.
- 39:09Speaker 2: Game of Thrones also, and to the top of the list,
- 39:11Speaker 2: Game of Thrones. If you haven't seen Game of Thrones
- 39:13Speaker 2: or The Office, that's the most judgmental.
- 39:14Speaker 1: I have not seen Game of Thrones.
- 39:16Speaker 2: I haven't either. I don't think I will.
- 39:17Speaker 3: And I don't know that I have a desire to.
- 39:19Speaker 2: It's not my thing.
- 39:20Speaker 1: Exactly. It's that type of storyline. It's also so gray.
- 39:26Speaker 1: Lisa in Indiana.
- 39:27Speaker 2: You just said Breaking Bad. That's not dark.
- 39:30Speaker 5: No.
- 39:30Speaker 1: I mean, aesthetically. Every time I've seen Freeze, it's gray.
- 39:33Speaker 1: I don't like that. I don't like dirt shows or
- 39:35Speaker 1: dirt movies. Like Westerns.
- 39:38Speaker 2: You don't like sand blowing in the air? No particles,
- 39:42Speaker 2: no dust.
- 39:43Speaker 1: I need comedy. Like The Hangover. That's more my speed.
- 39:48Speaker 2: That's it for us this morning. On this day back
- 39:51Speaker 2: from a long Labor Day weekend, tomorrow we're back paying
- 39:54Speaker 2: your bills once again. $ 1, 000 every hour to get your
- 39:56Speaker 2: bills paid here on KISS. If you haven't gotten me
- 39:59Speaker 2: your name, that's all you have to do. One step.
- 40:01Speaker 2: Just give me your name. KISS event.com. Your bills. CISNY
- 40:04Speaker 2: takes you from here. Have a good one. Thanks for
- 40:07Speaker 2: listening to On Air with Ryan Seacrest. Make sure to
