Gord Delbridge, the beloved president of CUPE Local 500 in Winnipeg and a lifelong champion for workers, has passed away peacefully with his family by his side. Leading the union since 2015, he fought tirelessly for city workers, staff at the Assiniboine Park Conservancy, and the Winnipeg Humane Society. A respected figure in CUPE nationally and provincially, he served on the national executive board and stepped into leadership roles for CUPE Manitoba.
