- 0:08Speaker 1: Advice for sure. It's hell love Love Lovello. Welcome to
- 0:16Speaker 1: the Naughty but Nice Show. I'm your house from shoot
- 0:19Speaker 1: and it's Friday, which means idear friend Corey Andrew joins us, Hey, Corey,
- 0:22Speaker 1: are you there?
- 0:23Speaker 2: I am here with bells on with.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Bells, and we can tell everybody a little secret now
- 0:28Speaker 1: that I didn't want to reveal too soon. Last Friday,
- 0:32Speaker 1: we taped the podcast, but I had audio issues and
- 0:36Speaker 1: I couldn't actually really hear what Corey was saying, and
- 0:40Speaker 1: so we had to do this thing where I felt
- 0:44Speaker 1: like I was lip reading and I know you so well,
- 0:48Speaker 1: and we do have a structure to the show. Although
- 0:49Speaker 1: it's not a scripted show, we do have a structure.
- 0:51Speaker 1: So I knew where you were flying the plane. I
- 0:54Speaker 1: had a flight map, so to speak. But we we
- 0:56Speaker 1: did it, Corey. We pulled it up.
- 0:58Speaker 2: So I was impressed.
- 0:59Speaker 3: I was like wow, because at the very end, You're like,
- 1:01Speaker 3: you know, I couldn't hear you, like at all.
- 1:03Speaker 1: I couldn't really hear you. When I worked with pop
- 1:06Speaker 1: stars with Jaylor and Jessica Simpson and Alicia Keys, I
- 1:09Speaker 1: used to love it when they tell stories about being
- 1:11Speaker 1: out on stage and their earpiece. They all wear these
- 1:14Speaker 1: ear pieces so they can hear the orchestra, they can
- 1:16Speaker 1: hear the band, We can hear them as the audience,
- 1:18Speaker 1: but they can't always hear their own band. And I'm
- 1:21Speaker 1: so impressed with these pop stars that not only do
- 1:23Speaker 1: an amazing job, but really do an amazing job when
- 1:26Speaker 1: things go wrong. There's a really interesting video out there online.
- 1:29Speaker 1: You can google it. Taylor Swift is on stage one
- 1:31Speaker 1: hundred thousand people screaming and shouting. Her earpiece goes out.
- 1:34Speaker 1: She can't hear her band, she can't hear the music,
- 1:37Speaker 1: so she breaks the choreography and she walks over to
- 1:40Speaker 1: a guitar player and she leans in and he plays
- 1:43Speaker 1: the melody line really loud so that she doesn't even
- 1:46Speaker 1: stop the show. It's so professional. Look at us getting professionals.
- 1:51Speaker 2: You just get pop up.
- 1:52Speaker 1: We've done the work. We've done the work. Okay, let's
- 1:55Speaker 1: jump into that show. What time is it, my friends?
- 1:58Speaker 1: It is tea time. So there's a tell all book
- 2:00Speaker 1: out about Matt Lwa It's coming out next week. I've
- 2:02Speaker 1: already read a few chapters and it absolutely slammed the
- 2:06Speaker 1: door shut on Matt Lower's hopes of a TV come back.
- 2:09Speaker 1: If you remember a few months ago, people were whispering
- 2:12Speaker 1: to People magazine, which always tells you it's the publicist.
- 2:15Speaker 1: It's always an insider with People magazine, and so an
- 2:18Speaker 1: insider within the Bat camp was saying, he missus TV.
- 2:21Speaker 1: You'd love to go back to TV. I wrote at
- 2:24Speaker 1: the time when our substack we did it on the
- 2:26Speaker 1: show pretty much. Yes, he would love to come back,
- 2:28Speaker 1: but nobody wants him. Who wants that mess? Well, now
- 2:31Speaker 1: this book that's coming out, the details of which are
- 2:34Speaker 1: way too graphic for a show like ours that you
- 2:36Speaker 1: can read them online. It is the person that worked
- 2:40Speaker 1: for the Today Show. It's Meredith Fierre's assistant who was
- 2:43Speaker 1: allegedly raped by Matt Lawer Goodness in a hotel in
- 2:49Speaker 1: in Russia. She was there for the Russian Olympics. She
- 2:53Speaker 1: was with Matt Lauer. She said they had a drink together,
- 2:57Speaker 1: she went up to his room and he ainly raped,
- 3:00Speaker 1: which gives the most specific detailed accounts of which we're
- 3:05Speaker 1: not going to get into on this show, but it
- 3:08Speaker 1: is graphic. Now, Matt has denied all this. He has
- 3:11Speaker 1: said we did have sex, but it was consensual. We
- 3:14Speaker 1: both hooked up together. And so there's a lot of
- 3:17Speaker 1: really really awful, awful, awful details it in this book
- 3:22Speaker 1: that I'm hearing for the first time. I knew this
- 3:24Speaker 1: story really well, but the book is an absolute bombshell.
- 3:27Speaker 1: I'm hearing this book. It's ended. Any dreams. He did
- 3:30Speaker 1: have dreams of coming back, and there were some streaming services.
- 3:33Speaker 1: I don't think he was ever going to be back
- 3:34Speaker 1: on NBC or CBS or one of the big networks
- 3:37Speaker 1: or ABC, but there are other opportunities. Now there was
- 3:40Speaker 1: a route for him to go down, the Megan Kelly
- 3:43Speaker 1: don Lemon podcasting and YouTube. Now, remember YouTube's the biggest
- 3:47Speaker 1: network in the world, so there's no shame with having
- 3:50Speaker 1: a show on YouTube. In fact, you can make more
- 3:52Speaker 1: money and get more viewers on YouTube than you can
- 3:54Speaker 1: on CNN. And so Matt Laro had some dreams of
- 3:58Speaker 1: coming back. Not going to happen. And feel bad for Matt.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Though he lives on a twenty two million dollar farm
- 4:03Speaker 1: in the Habitac, he never needs to work ever again.
- 4:06Speaker 1: I saw him about six months ago in New York.
- 4:09Speaker 1: We happen to be at a wedding together. We have
- 4:11Speaker 1: a mutual friend and we're at the wedding together. Everybody
- 4:14Speaker 1: fussed him, nobody shunned him. Savannah Guffrey was at the
- 4:17Speaker 1: wedding and she walked across the room and hugged him.
- 4:19Speaker 1: And so I think now that people that were, shall
- 4:23Speaker 1: I say, on the fence about Matt, people that were
- 4:25Speaker 1: trying to say, well, it wasn't proven, it didn't get
- 4:27Speaker 1: a court, it's just an allegation. This book is going
- 4:31Speaker 1: to change or yes, but.
- 4:34Speaker 3: I will say that people still will have to consider
- 4:37Speaker 3: that he.
- 4:37Speaker 2: Hasn't been convicted of something.
- 4:39Speaker 3: I mean, it's as awful as the account are in
- 4:41Speaker 3: this book, it's still an allegation. So I mean, and
- 4:45Speaker 3: now I'm of course not in any way siding with
- 4:47Speaker 3: him or this person who had this terrible ordeal as
- 4:50Speaker 3: she accounts in her book. But you know, it's it's
- 4:53Speaker 3: still innocent to proven guilty.
- 4:55Speaker 2: I guess.
- 4:55Speaker 3: So it's a tricky thing of your his friend. How
- 4:57Speaker 3: do you navigate that and how do you you decide
- 5:00Speaker 3: if you're going to support your friend. It's like being
- 5:02Speaker 3: friends with Felicia Rashat with Bill Carsby.
- 5:05Speaker 2: For example.
- 5:06Speaker 3: You know, she's like, I've known this man for like
- 5:08Speaker 3: forty years that's not the person I know. So how
- 5:10Speaker 3: do you reconcile that as a friend who just cannot
- 5:13Speaker 3: believe it?
- 5:14Speaker 2: So, I don't know. It's a really tricky one.
- 5:16Speaker 1: It's complicated. It is so complicated. I encourage people to
- 5:20Speaker 1: read the book. It is. It's shocking. Like I sat
- 5:23Speaker 1: down and I thought I was just gonna read. You know,
- 5:25Speaker 1: when you sit down, you think I'll just read a
- 5:26Speaker 1: few chapters. I was so ecreassed with it. And one
- 5:29Speaker 1: of it is it is not just the details about
- 5:32Speaker 1: the alleged incident, it's the balance of power. And it
- 5:35Speaker 1: made me really think about this. She was Meredith Vieira's assistant.
- 5:40Speaker 1: He was the most important person arguably on TV, certainly
- 5:43Speaker 1: Mourning TV, maybe the entire network. I would go on
- 5:47Speaker 1: the Today Show. When Matt was on the show, he
- 5:49Speaker 1: was a king. It was Matt's show. The only person
- 5:52Speaker 1: that got close to him in power was Katie Coming.
- 5:55Speaker 1: But the minute Katie left that show, it became the
- 5:57Speaker 1: Matt Lower Show. When you walked into the Today sho
- 6:00Speaker 1: huge posters of Matt. When you're sat in the green room,
- 6:03Speaker 1: all Matt, Matt, Matt in the makeup room, it's all
- 6:05Speaker 1: Matt Matt Matt, and so she talks about in a
- 6:08Speaker 1: really smart way why she did not report it to
- 6:11Speaker 1: the police. A. She was in Russia, so what's she
- 6:14Speaker 1: gonna call the Russian police. B. It was the King
- 6:17Speaker 1: of the Network, really detailed book, which brings us to
- 6:20Speaker 1: our pole question of the day. This new book is
- 6:22Speaker 1: going to slam the door shut on Matt Lower's te
- 6:25Speaker 1: the comeback inside? Is he telling me it's over? It
- 6:28Speaker 1: just will never ever happen again? What do you think
- 6:31Speaker 1: could Matt come back to TV? We live in this
- 6:34Speaker 1: world now where we can be, we can say, or
- 6:38Speaker 1: we can potentially do awful things, and there's an audience
- 6:41Speaker 1: for you in. The more controversial you are, the more
- 6:43Speaker 1: clicks you get on TikTok and social media. Is there
- 6:47Speaker 1: a route back yet? Is there a route back for
- 6:51Speaker 1: Matt Lower? Really really interesting tough question today. Hey, go
- 6:55Speaker 1: vote on our Twitter page at Naughty Nice rob Our
- 6:59Speaker 1: Facebook page already I'll say IP and be sure to
- 7:01Speaker 1: check back on Monday to hear your results. Hey, Corey Love,
- 7:04Speaker 1: what are you working on?
- 7:05Speaker 3: Yes, well, you know this is an interesting story. Back
- 7:07Speaker 3: in November twenty twenty five, just a few months ago,
- 7:09Speaker 3: I thought this was AI.
- 7:11Speaker 2: When I first saw it, I didn't think it.
- 7:12Speaker 3: Was real footage, but it was Kim Kardashian like hanging
- 7:15Speaker 3: out in bed and pajamas with Britney Spears. It seemed
- 7:18Speaker 3: like an AI video. But Kim Kardashian is dishing now
- 7:22Speaker 3: on the headline making sleepover with Britney Spears, and she
- 7:24Speaker 3: called the pop icon the sweetest girl. That's a quote,
- 7:28Speaker 3: and she said she just wanted some low key girl
- 7:30Speaker 3: time and she probably did because you know, Britney's had
- 7:33Speaker 3: a real difficult time lately with people taking advantage of her.
- 7:36Speaker 3: So appearing on her sister Chloe Kardashian's podcast, Kim revealed
- 7:40Speaker 3: that and then November hangout at her Calabasas home. It
- 7:43Speaker 3: was arranged by Britney's manager and it was just meant
- 7:46Speaker 3: to be a relaxed night in and not the wild
- 7:49Speaker 3: spectacle fans had imagined from when they saw some video
- 7:53Speaker 3: that Britney posted. But photos of the pajama party quickly
- 7:56Speaker 3: went viral, fueled these rumors of chaos because they look
- 7:59Speaker 3: kind of fun and they were just having fun in
- 8:01Speaker 3: the videos, But Kim insists it was simply just friends bonding.
- 8:05Speaker 3: It was just girls, bey and girl, she said, and
- 8:07Speaker 3: she shut down any hype that it was any kind
- 8:09Speaker 3: of you know, weird wild night at the lumber party.
- 8:12Speaker 3: It's a little odd, you know, when you on one
- 8:14Speaker 3: hand are like, oh, we're just girlfriends bonding, but on
- 8:17Speaker 3: the other hand, Brittany's manager arranged it, so it looks
- 8:20Speaker 3: sort of.
- 8:20Speaker 1: That's the way malculated, you know, Yeah, and weird.
- 8:22Speaker 2: So I don't know about that part of it for me.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the weird part for me. What stood out
- 8:26Speaker 1: here for me? So I love the fact that I
- 8:28Speaker 1: want Brittany to have friends and Kim Kardashian. Believe it
- 8:31Speaker 1: or not, it's actually a really good friend to have.
- 8:33Speaker 1: I know people who say she's very loyal and she's
- 8:35Speaker 1: pretty normal. Like a night at Kim's house, it's not
- 8:38Speaker 1: a night in vague race, like it's kind of like
- 8:40Speaker 1: you watch old lovers and you're eating. It's a really
- 8:42Speaker 1: fun night and then you're not all sleeping on the floor.
- 8:44Speaker 1: She's got like twenty two bedrooms. You had a nice
- 8:46Speaker 1: fam for the night. It's gonna be a love and
- 8:48Speaker 1: you know there's someone there to cook your break through
- 8:52Speaker 1: the fridge looking for an egg Kim's got that place stocked.
- 8:55Speaker 1: So I'm glad that Brittany and Kim are friends. What
- 8:57Speaker 1: I hoped is that they were real friends, and now
- 8:59Speaker 1: I know that not. If a manager's calling up and
- 9:02Speaker 1: a rage and a playdate, it just feels like your
- 9:04Speaker 1: mom and you're twelve years old. Britney is a grown ass,
- 9:08Speaker 1: and so this feels so weird that her manager, who
- 9:11Speaker 1: else is he calling up and saying? It feels like
- 9:13Speaker 1: will you babysit Brittany for the night? And we know
- 9:16Speaker 1: that she has struggles and maybe that actually is what's
- 9:18Speaker 1: going on here. And although she is a grown humor
- 9:21Speaker 1: me and she has struggled, she struggles with mental health.
- 9:25Speaker 1: What's interesting to me is if this really was just
- 9:28Speaker 1: a girl's night in at Kim's house, a sleepover, why
- 9:32Speaker 1: take pictures? I post it like it feels like a
- 9:34Speaker 1: press up. It feels like they wanted to attend that
- 9:37Speaker 1: Brittany and Kim were friends. They're not. Britney has a
- 9:40Speaker 1: really isolated, lonely life. She finds it really difficult to
- 9:44Speaker 1: have friendships, to maintain friendships, to make friendships. It's hard,
- 9:48Speaker 1: isn't it. We all know people who struggle with mental health,
- 9:50Speaker 1: and it'd be so easy to walk away from those friends.
- 9:53Speaker 1: I have a one friend in particular who really struggles,
- 9:56Speaker 1: and I make time for her. I deliberately call her
- 9:59Speaker 1: once a week. It's almost on my schedule, almost a
- 10:01Speaker 1: thing that I do, just because she doesn't have much else.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Her world's getting smaller and smaller and smaller. That's what's
- 10:07Speaker 1: happened to Britney here. So I like this. I hope
- 10:10Speaker 1: that Kim now and Britney have exchanged numbers. I hope
- 10:13Speaker 1: they don't have to go through a manager to go
- 10:15Speaker 1: out for lunch or coffee, or hang out or go
- 10:18Speaker 1: to the movies. Kim's a good friend, but her bandwidth
- 10:21Speaker 1: is pretty full. She has all those kids, she has
- 10:24Speaker 1: a billion dollar businesses running, She's got that family. Kim's
- 10:27Speaker 1: life is full. She has her own friends too. I
- 10:29Speaker 1: hope Britney can squeeze into it. I'm worried about it,
- 10:32Speaker 1: though I wish Kim hadn't told us this. I wish
- 10:35Speaker 1: I still believe it was just a really fun night.
- 10:38Speaker 1: I was always suspicious by the pictures.
- 10:39Speaker 2: Well, yeah, because they also look like Kim and Chloe.
- 10:42Speaker 3: You look like they had just stepped out of the
- 10:43Speaker 3: salon while they were in bed. You don't wear like
- 10:46Speaker 3: makeup and stuff like that, and are pulled back and yeah,
- 10:49Speaker 3: it's kind of crazy.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Right, although my makeup artist tell me that Kim wears
- 10:53Speaker 1: makeup twenty four seven. They said, but you want to
- 10:55Speaker 1: be Kim's makeup arties because you work full time. It's
- 10:59Speaker 1: a twenty four touch, they said. Everything they said, they've
- 11:03Speaker 1: never seen it with that mag I'm convinced that twenty
- 11:05Speaker 1: percent of the back counter in La is in Kim
- 11:08Speaker 1: Kardashian's Oh but she loves that makeup, God bless her. Okay,
- 11:12Speaker 1: this is a naughty story, but it did make me giggle.
- 11:14Speaker 1: There's going to be a sequel to Dirty Dancing. Jennifer
- 11:18Speaker 1: Gray is returning. However, there's lots of talk. Now what
- 11:21Speaker 1: are they going to do about her new nose. It's
- 11:23Speaker 1: not so new anymore. She's had it for thirty forty years. However,
- 11:27Speaker 1: she didn't have it, Baby, did not have that nose
- 11:29Speaker 1: in the original movie. Do they explain it. Do they
- 11:33Speaker 1: just pretend that Jennifer grew older in a nose shrank,
- 11:36Speaker 1: or do they say do they have to write into
- 11:38Speaker 1: the story she's not unrecognizable. I mean, she talked about this.
- 11:43Speaker 1: I'm not making fun of anybody that has plastic surgery.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Her own nose job. She wanted it, and she talked
- 11:47Speaker 1: about it. She never liked her, know, she got a
- 11:49Speaker 1: new nose, and then unfortunately, at the same time as
- 11:51Speaker 1: her new nose, the work dried up, and a lot
- 11:53Speaker 1: of people connected that together. It's hard when you become
- 11:56Speaker 1: super super famous for looking a certain way and then
- 11:59Speaker 1: you don't like the way you look and you change it,
- 12:01Speaker 1: and so people are like, who are you? And so
- 12:03Speaker 1: she's never really repeated the successor of dirty dancing. Another
- 12:07Speaker 1: big question, too, is what are they going to do
- 12:09Speaker 1: about Patrick Sways his character. He's not here, like that's
- 12:13Speaker 1: probably bigger than her nose. They can they can explain
- 12:16Speaker 1: that away one sentence like baby got a nose and
- 12:18Speaker 1: she looks great, but Patrick's I think there's lots and
- 12:22Speaker 1: lots of minds on the lots and lots of red flags.
- 12:25Speaker 1: They're clever people who are doing it. I hope it's
- 12:27Speaker 1: not just a cash grab. I hope they're not just
- 12:29Speaker 1: doing it for the money. Yeah, if they are, it'll
- 12:31Speaker 1: be awful. But if there's some care and attention, and
- 12:34Speaker 1: these conversations are happening right now in the writer's room.
- 12:38Speaker 1: What are they going to do about that?
- 12:39Speaker 2: Now? I think it's a mistake to even do this film.
- 12:40Speaker 3: Not only is it Patrick's missing, but Jerry Orbach, who
- 12:44Speaker 3: is like the wonderful man who played the farmer who
- 12:47Speaker 3: has beloved I mean, he's a big part of the
- 12:49Speaker 3: story of course Patrick. And now Jennifer's nose is no
- 12:53Speaker 3: longer in the film.
- 12:54Speaker 2: So I think it's just a mistake.
- 12:56Speaker 3: I don't know, I think they I don't think they
- 12:57Speaker 3: should make it, but I will say, just on that note,
- 13:00Speaker 3: you know, she got that nose job and as we mentioned,
- 13:03Speaker 3: it really almost it did.
- 13:05Speaker 2: It ruined her career.
- 13:06Speaker 3: And I could never understand how Jennifer had played in
- 13:09Speaker 3: three of the biggest movies with that original she was
- 13:12Speaker 3: in Ferris Bueller's Day Off massive massage films. She did
- 13:16Speaker 3: another one I forgot the name of her, and then
- 13:18Speaker 3: she did Dirty Dances. Yes, and then she goes and
- 13:20Speaker 3: she changes the thing.
- 13:21Speaker 1: I don't.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, she was beautiful.
- 13:25Speaker 1: Such a visual medium. Film is a visual medium. I
- 13:29Speaker 1: get it, like I'm so, I wish I hope a
- 13:32Speaker 1: manager or an agent somebody sat down with her and said,
- 13:34Speaker 1: it's your face. You can do whatever you want with it.
- 13:36Speaker 1: You've made a lot of money. You can pay for it.
- 13:37Speaker 1: No one's paying for this book. If you want to
- 13:39Speaker 1: do it, do it. It is a choice. However, you
- 13:42Speaker 1: are no one for looking at certain Hey, why would
- 13:45Speaker 1: you change that? And if you still want to do it,
- 13:47Speaker 1: good luck. But it will change the way people think
- 13:50Speaker 1: of you. I used to work for Ashley Simpson. When
- 13:52Speaker 1: Ashley Simpson got her nurse job, her career change, Yeah,
- 13:54Speaker 1: totally changed. She was the underdog. Jessica was the beauty queen.
- 13:58Speaker 1: She was the one that got all all the glamorous,
- 14:01Speaker 1: the cheerleaders, and Ashley actually got all the misfits people
- 14:04Speaker 1: like me and then's more misfits andsh is queer. It
- 14:08Speaker 1: was bigger than than Jessica. She sold more records. When
- 14:12Speaker 1: she's edging, we all knew what it was like to
- 14:15Speaker 1: be I'm not the prettiest girl in the room, and
- 14:18Speaker 1: my sister's so gorgeous. I really loved Ashley. I really
- 14:21Speaker 1: loved her vibe. When she did that nose job, went away,
- 14:26Speaker 1: all went away, okay quickly, before we get a break.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Will Smith and Jada were in Paris together, but apparently
- 14:31Speaker 1: they were in separate rooms well.
- 14:34Speaker 3: Once again sparking more marriage slash divorce rumors, and they
- 14:37Speaker 3: were standing in separate hotels as you just mentioned, a
- 14:39Speaker 3: hotel rooms that you just mentioned. But insiders are insisting
- 14:42Speaker 3: that it's not a breakup. The sources say the long
- 14:45Speaker 3: time couple, they've just been embracing this whole like living
- 14:48Speaker 3: independently thing, calling it a system that works for them
- 14:52Speaker 3: and not a sign of trouble. They're deeply bonded but
- 14:55Speaker 3: live separate lives, one insider says, and stressing that divorce
- 14:58Speaker 3: is never on the table. While in Paris, Will and
- 15:01Speaker 3: Jada they dined together, they attended events together, but then honey,
- 15:05Speaker 3: at the end of the night, they were back to
- 15:07Speaker 3: their own rooms. So you know, no drama, no fights,
- 15:10Speaker 3: a source added, just boundaries. It is unconventional, but you know,
- 15:15Speaker 3: I don't know, sometimes it just makes all the difference,
- 15:16Speaker 3: and it's I always say that relationships are defined by
- 15:20Speaker 3: the people in them, not people on the sidelines.
- 15:23Speaker 2: Talking about them. So if this works for them, fine.
- 15:26Speaker 1: I'm like that to I mean, I love to gossip
- 15:27Speaker 1: about it, and every one of my friend's relationships. I
- 15:29Speaker 1: dissect over a vodka soda. A's don't get me wrong,
- 15:33Speaker 1: but I like, I don't want people talking about my relationship.
- 15:36Speaker 1: I don't want you judging. You know I was gay men,
- 15:38Speaker 1: We've always had our relationship. I judged by everybody, and
- 15:40Speaker 1: so like I say, Will and Jada, if it makes
- 15:42Speaker 1: you happy, you're not breaking any laws. Enjoy each other. Okay,
- 15:46Speaker 1: we're going to take a quick break and we will
- 15:48Speaker 1: come right back. Welcome back to the Naughty but nine
- 15:51Speaker 1: sham your Headstrom shoots to your friend Cory. Hey, Corey,
- 15:54Speaker 1: let's get to the poll stuff. Last Shaw, we talked
- 15:56Speaker 1: about Tyra Banks saying she went too far on America's
- 15:59Speaker 1: Next Top Model. There's a new documentary. It is explosive. Tyra,
- 16:03Speaker 1: to her credit, didn't have to do this documentary. She
- 16:05Speaker 1: could just ignore it. She didn't. She sat down and
- 16:07Speaker 1: she did an interview and she admitted, yes, what we
- 16:09Speaker 1: did back then was outrageous. I wouldn't do it today.
- 16:12Speaker 1: They changed the color of girl's skins and did stuff
- 16:15Speaker 1: that Tyler was just like, it was black face. It
- 16:17Speaker 1: was so dumb. What were we doing? So Tyra really
- 16:20Speaker 1: really is doubling down on this. Do you agree? Did
- 16:23Speaker 1: they go too far?
- 16:24Speaker 2: Wow?
- 16:25Speaker 1: Eighty five percent said yes, you do it did go
- 16:27Speaker 1: too far. It's amazing those shows that just don't stand
- 16:30Speaker 1: up to the test of time. And I think that
- 16:32Speaker 1: is a compliment actually, because it means you're in the moment.
- 16:35Speaker 1: When I look at Sex and the City, it's in
- 16:38Speaker 1: the moment. It doesn't hold on, it does not hold
- 16:41Speaker 1: up because it's so in the moment. When I listened
- 16:43Speaker 1: to rap music, did He used to always say that
- 16:45Speaker 1: to me when I worked with did He, You'll never
- 16:47Speaker 1: get a classic or it's very hard to get a
- 16:49Speaker 1: classic rap song like Bridge over Troubled Water. May I
- 16:52Speaker 1: say copa cabana because they're so in the moment. The
- 16:56Speaker 1: two weeks from now, two months from now, two years
- 16:58Speaker 1: from now, they look datd it and so America's Top Model.
- 17:02Speaker 1: It is as dated as Jerry Springer. But we can
- 17:04Speaker 1: still watch it, we can still watch it documentary and Tyra,
- 17:08Speaker 1: that's exactly right. It as a teachable moment. Hey, don't
- 17:10Speaker 1: forget to vote on today's Paul Go. My Twitter page
- 17:12Speaker 1: had naughty Nice Rob and Facebook page is naughty gossip.
- 17:15Speaker 1: I'm sure to check back to my right, I hear
- 17:17Speaker 1: your results in nine. Oh it's done for ja.
- 17:23Speaker 3: Yes, Well, the Kardashians once again in my little headline
- 17:25Speaker 3: here they are calling Timothy shallow May Timmy. They're calling
- 17:30Speaker 3: him Timmy now, you know, because he's like part of
- 17:33Speaker 3: the family. So Timothy Shallamey is officially Timmy to the
- 17:35Speaker 3: Kardashian family. Kim and Chloe revealed the sweet nickname for
- 17:39Speaker 3: Kylie Jenner's boyfriend while they were recalling a cozy Malibu
- 17:43Speaker 3: family dinner. The sisters said that Kylie and Timmy showed
- 17:46Speaker 3: up early, they stayed late, and they had the best
- 17:49Speaker 3: time at the intimate gathering and pressing everyone, especially Chloe.
- 17:54Speaker 3: So it marked the first time that Kim and Chloe
- 17:56Speaker 3: really have publicly gushed over Callie's romance with the with
- 18:00Speaker 3: the Golden Globe winner.
- 18:02Speaker 2: Despite past split rumors a couple, they say they're going
- 18:05Speaker 2: stronger than ever.
- 18:06Speaker 3: They're going out doing major events together and living together
- 18:10Speaker 3: in Los Angeles. So, you know what, I wish them, well,
- 18:12Speaker 3: it's a normal relationship, and you know, the Kardashians are
- 18:15Speaker 3: known for being kind of out there.
- 18:16Speaker 2: This is just a normal role may. Its like anyone else's, right,
- 18:20Speaker 2: Timmy to me.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Now, breaking news coming into the not even nice news
- 18:24Speaker 1: room right now. Don Lemon has been arrested. Don Letton
- 18:27Speaker 1: has been arrested in LA. And so after the protests
- 18:33Speaker 1: in a church disrupted a church in Minneapolis, Don had
- 18:37Speaker 1: been threatened by the Department of Justice. It looked as
- 18:41Speaker 1: it had gone away. Don thought it had gone away.
- 18:43Speaker 1: He was in LA for the Grammy Awards. He was
- 18:45Speaker 1: scheduled to attend Clive Davis's pre Grammy party and that's
- 18:49Speaker 1: why he was out there. He was arrested over night. Now,
- 18:53Speaker 1: as shocking as this all is to everybody, we are
- 18:56Speaker 1: not a political show. Let me do tell you that
- 18:59Speaker 1: I have been reported undone for a long time. I
- 19:02Speaker 1: know him. I spoke to him last week. Done is
- 19:05Speaker 1: a survivor. If you're going to mess with somebody, get
- 19:08Speaker 1: ready to mess with Don, because he's an extraordinary person.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Like him or not, He's not going to go down
- 19:13Speaker 1: without a fight. And I think he's got some valid arguments.
- 19:16Speaker 1: But has been arrested, arrested in l A. Okay, let's
- 19:22Speaker 1: end with a moment of you cannot grow. You cannot
- 19:31Speaker 1: grow in rooms where your evolution makes people uncomfortable. Growth
- 19:37Speaker 1: changes your voice, it changes your boundaries, and it changes
- 19:40Speaker 1: your priorities. And not everybody is going to like that.
- 19:42Speaker 1: They're not going to applaud it. Some people prefer it.
- 19:45Speaker 1: And you're smaller when you're quieter, when you were easy
- 19:49Speaker 1: to control. Growth is not meant to be convenient for
- 19:53Speaker 1: other people. No, it's meant to upset some people. It's
- 19:57Speaker 1: meant for you to be honest with yourself. Don't know
- 20:00Speaker 1: owe anybody anything. You just don't owe it them. You
- 20:04Speaker 1: only owe it to yourself. So choose your environments, choose
- 20:07Speaker 1: your relationships. Choose your conversations that will all expand you,
- 20:11Speaker 1: not the ones that demand you stay in your same
- 20:14Speaker 1: place to be loved. You, my friends are allowed to grow.
- 20:19Speaker 1: You're allowed to evolve, and when you do, it will
- 20:22Speaker 1: make some people uncomfortable. And that is the point. Hey,
- 20:27Speaker 1: that is it for this week. Thank you so much
- 20:30Speaker 1: for listening to Theyre Notty but Nice with Robin Corey Show,
- 20:33Speaker 1: a production of iHeartRadio. Don't forget to subscribe on the
