- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome back to the Edge live in your Bleacher Report app.
- 0:03Speaker 1: I am your host, Michael Parsons. In this episode is
- 0:05Speaker 1: sponsored by Nationwide for your insurance and financial needs. Nationwide
- 0:10Speaker 1: is on your side. Let's get right into it. Cowboys Eagles.
- 0:14Speaker 1: Obviously it was a devastating blow, but Cowboys Nation we
- 0:18Speaker 1: have seven days remaining left in the twenty twenty fourth season.
- 0:23Speaker 1: A lot of highs, a lot of lows. Obviously not
- 0:26Speaker 1: where we want to be, but we're going to use
- 0:28Speaker 1: this season as motivation to move forward. And you know,
- 0:33Speaker 1: I've been seeing a lot of speculation everyone. They didn't
- 0:35Speaker 1: show y'all a full gain interview of my you know,
- 0:42Speaker 1: talking about you know, take away the scoreboard and this
- 0:44Speaker 1: is just for people, you know, casual fans who just
- 0:49Speaker 1: take anything in this room with it. It was breaking down.
- 0:53Speaker 1: Football is made of big plays, right if there's no
- 0:57Speaker 1: big plays in the game, as we can see in
- 0:59Speaker 1: Seattle Chicago with six to three last week it was
- 1:04Speaker 1: rams cards and it was like thirteen to six. So
- 1:09Speaker 1: big players are like exposive runs, exposive passes and things
- 1:13Speaker 1: like that, and also pick interceptions, fumbles, things like that.
- 1:17Speaker 1: So when I said, when you're playing a good team
- 1:22Speaker 1: like Philly. Philly is a playoff team. Uh, they're gonna,
- 1:25Speaker 1: They're gonna. I think they're gonna make a deep run
- 1:26Speaker 1: into playoffs. When you're playing a team like Philly, you
- 1:31Speaker 1: can't lose the explosion, the exposive play battle. And when
- 1:36Speaker 1: I say that is you can't give up the huge
- 1:38Speaker 1: plays like Devonte Smith getting a deep ball before the
- 1:42Speaker 1: end of the half that put him in, you know,
- 1:44Speaker 1: with thirty seconds left to put him in position to score.
- 1:48Speaker 1: We can't give up a pick six. We can't give
- 1:51Speaker 1: up you know, uh, you know, another deep bomb to
- 1:55Speaker 1: Devonte Smith, a slant for you know, forty yard so
- 2:00Speaker 1: when you and then we also didn't create no turnovers back,
- 2:03Speaker 1: so you know, they had all these explosive plays. And
- 2:07Speaker 1: when you're playing a team like Philly, they have to
- 2:09Speaker 1: earn everything, you know. They if you're going to score,
- 2:12Speaker 1: it got to be a ten to fifteen play drive.
- 2:14Speaker 1: You know, if you're in and if you take three,
- 2:16Speaker 1: you take three, you take that as a win, you know,
- 2:19Speaker 1: but you can't have four play drives. Three play drives.
- 2:22Speaker 1: You can't create turnovers. You can't turn the ball over
- 2:24Speaker 1: because then you're giving their weapons that they have chances
- 2:28Speaker 1: to be explosive, you know. So it's only so much
- 2:32Speaker 1: into the game plan where you're like, hey, for in
- 2:34Speaker 1: this situation, we can do this, but eventually there's gonna
- 2:37Speaker 1: be a play call that goes into their favor. Especially
- 2:40Speaker 1: when you got a guy like Sae Kwon Barkley and
- 2:42Speaker 1: then you got those two outside pieces, you know, it
- 2:46Speaker 1: really didn't matter. So it wasn't that I thought that
- 2:49Speaker 1: the score would differentiate between us and them. I just say, like,
- 2:54Speaker 1: when you just play a team that good, you can't
- 2:56Speaker 1: afford to make those type of errors, give up those
- 2:58Speaker 1: type of plays. It's very simple in the game of football.
- 3:02Speaker 1: It's very simple. So the fact that you know, people
- 3:05Speaker 1: want to take that and say it's ct or delusional. No,
- 3:08Speaker 1: you're delusional thinking that you can play a team like
- 3:11Speaker 1: Philly and turn the ball over or give up exposive
- 3:14Speaker 1: runs or passes. So when we didn't win the explosive
- 3:19Speaker 1: you know play battle, of course we're not gonna win
- 3:22Speaker 1: that game. Of course, the outcome of that game is
- 3:24Speaker 1: gonna look like I mean, you take those you know,
- 3:27Speaker 1: three deep passes, you know, say, had two exposive runs
- 3:31Speaker 1: for twenty yards more and the turnovers. That's non exposive plays.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Of course, the outcome in the game will look like that,
- 3:37Speaker 1: you know. So obviously it's not the best we've played
- 3:40Speaker 1: in the last couple of weeks, but we're in a
- 3:43Speaker 1: position where we have one game left and we're playing
- 3:46Speaker 1: a playoff team, you know, and it's gonna be a
- 3:48Speaker 1: good game. We won the last battle. We're gonna be
- 3:50Speaker 1: at home, and I'm looking forward to it, you know,
- 3:52Speaker 1: I want to end the season off with a bang moment.
- 3:55Speaker 1: I'm going into next year because why not. You know,
- 3:58Speaker 1: they coming to us, they come into our city, and
- 4:01Speaker 1: it's going to be an electri fine game. I can't wait,
- 4:04Speaker 1: you know. So we have to win that battle though,
- 4:07Speaker 1: you know, obviously going against James Daniels, we've seen in
- 4:09Speaker 1: the last two weeks he's icy, you know, he's icy.
- 4:12Speaker 1: You know. I think if Jaden Daniels was doing what
- 4:16Speaker 1: he's doing now, you know, before that, well, he was
- 4:19Speaker 1: doing a little bit before the rib injury. I think
- 4:21Speaker 1: the rib injury held him back. But what I noticed
- 4:24Speaker 1: in the last couple of weeks is he's not afraid
- 4:26Speaker 1: to run no more. He's taking and running and I
- 4:28Speaker 1: think if he didn't have that rib injury. We're looking at,
- 4:32Speaker 1: you know, MVP conversation for him. Obviously, he's locked up
- 4:35Speaker 1: the offensive rookie of the year. I haven't seen more
- 4:38Speaker 1: of a cold blooded rookie, you know, since I've been
- 4:41Speaker 1: in the NFL, probably the past, you know, besides Lamar,
- 4:46Speaker 1: probably past five seven years. But I think he's at at,
- 4:49Speaker 1: you know, a different level, you know, I think he's
- 4:51Speaker 1: been the best rookie in the past couple of years.
- 4:53Speaker 1: When it comes to in the game situations, we have
- 4:56Speaker 1: to score, we have to win. His composure, bro I know,
- 5:00Speaker 1: I get he's a twenty five year old rookie, but
- 5:02Speaker 1: his composure is like he's been in the league for
- 5:05Speaker 1: you know, the last four or five years and it
- 5:07Speaker 1: doesn't matter. So you know, it's really gonna be challenging,
- 5:11Speaker 1: you know, going against him. Obviously he has a lot
- 5:13Speaker 1: of momentum, he has a lot of belief. His team
- 5:15Speaker 1: does too. At homes it's gonna be a pretty crazy game.
- 5:20Speaker 1: So you know, I can't wait for that matchup. But
- 5:23Speaker 1: then you talk about the NFC, and there hasn't been
- 5:26Speaker 1: uh there's been twenty one consecutive seasons. That doesn't have
- 5:29Speaker 1: a back to back champion, and I honestly, I don't
- 5:32Speaker 1: think there will ever be as long as you know,
- 5:34Speaker 1: Dak Prescott, Jalen Hurts, Uh, Jayden Daniels and the Giants
- 5:41Speaker 1: may go get them a franchise quarterback, you know, this
- 5:43Speaker 1: offseason in the draft, I don't think we might see
- 5:46Speaker 1: that again. I think every year for the next you know,
- 5:49Speaker 1: five eight years, is going to be probably the most
- 5:52Speaker 1: competitive division besides the Ravens Bengals Division. And you know,
- 5:58Speaker 1: we don't know how long Russ is going to staying
- 6:00Speaker 1: at stay in that division. We don't know what's gonna
- 6:03Speaker 1: happen right there. But you know, I think this is
- 6:05Speaker 1: gonna I think the NFC East is probably going to
- 6:08Speaker 1: be the most challenging, toughest division in all of the NFL.
- 6:13Speaker 1: You know, there's no doubt about it. There's no doubt
- 6:15Speaker 1: about it. You know, I think three great MVP caliber
- 6:21Speaker 1: mobile quarterbacks and that division is gonna be the most challenging.
- 6:24Speaker 1: So you you got to be super consistent, super consistent.
- 6:28Speaker 1: It's gonna be a tough matchup. I just you know,
- 6:33Speaker 1: you let us say it, but you know, things happen,
- 6:36Speaker 1: just like this year, we thought we could run it
- 6:38Speaker 1: back with the same guys and injuries, so you just
- 6:40Speaker 1: really never know. You got to add everything into it,
- 6:44Speaker 1: like injuries. You know, if you know your quarterback goes down,
- 6:48Speaker 1: you just really just never know what could happen. So,
- 6:51Speaker 1: you know, I don't think it's gonna be one of
- 6:53Speaker 1: the toughest feats to go back to back in his nfcast,
- 6:56Speaker 1: especially the way uh these quarterbacks been playing. It's gonna
- 6:59Speaker 1: be very, very tough. And then you know, speaking of
- 7:01Speaker 1: Philly man and as long as Saquan is there, and
- 7:04Speaker 1: I just want to give a big shot to Saquon Barkley,
- 7:06Speaker 1: you know, knife running back in NFL history to reach
- 7:09Speaker 1: the two thousand rushing yards in a season, Oh man,
- 7:13Speaker 1: it's a tremendous feat. Man, congratulations, we are believe it
- 7:17Speaker 1: or not. Saquon is probably one of the biggest reasons
- 7:20Speaker 1: why committed to Penn State. You know, it's actually crazy
- 7:23Speaker 1: because you know, Saquon's from Whitehall and I never forget
- 7:27Speaker 1: you know, he's finishing up a great you know, junior season,
- 7:30Speaker 1: he's getting ready for the draft, and I'm getting ready
- 7:32Speaker 1: to come in. So I had just missed playing with Saquon,
- 7:35Speaker 1: and he kind of just was like, man, if you
- 7:38Speaker 1: just follow this route, you come here, you represent Pennsylvania
- 7:43Speaker 1: and you just do it right. I'm not saying you
- 7:45Speaker 1: had the same career as me, but you have a
- 7:48Speaker 1: great chance of doing something pretty great here. And you know,
- 7:52Speaker 1: to see where he's become, you know, looking up to
- 7:56Speaker 1: him as a mentor and then seeing his success as
- 7:59Speaker 1: a you know, a fellow member of the National Football League,
- 8:01Speaker 1: it has been nothing but amazing to see and to
- 8:04Speaker 1: see him reping Pennsylvania again, not only did he do
- 8:08Speaker 1: it in high school, college and nice reping Pa in
- 8:11Speaker 1: Philly doing his big one. It's a really a great honor.
- 8:16Speaker 1: So congratulations to you know, the big bro, Saquon for
- 8:19Speaker 1: him two thousand yards. And man, I don't think there's
- 8:24Speaker 1: a greater irony in life than to get the chance
- 8:27Speaker 1: to break the record against a team who didn't want you,
- 8:30Speaker 1: you know, the team that just kind of say we
- 8:32Speaker 1: don't need you, we don't believe in you. And I
- 8:35Speaker 1: just think that is so amazing. I think it's hysterical.
- 8:39Speaker 1: We already know that. I blame the Giants for everything
- 8:41Speaker 1: that's happened this season, because why, why did they let
- 8:47Speaker 1: him go. We still have no idea when we all
- 8:51Speaker 1: knew that, it seemed like everyone in the world knew
- 8:54Speaker 1: that Saquon Barkley was the Giants offense except for the Giants,
- 8:59Speaker 1: you know. So uh yeah, So we're there, so you know,
- 9:04Speaker 1: if he breaks that record, it's easy to say that
- 9:07Speaker 1: he should be an MVP, but we all know it's
- 9:11Speaker 1: a QB Award, So he'll be the Offensive Player of
- 9:13Speaker 1: the Year, without a doubt. He's locked that in. He'll
- 9:16Speaker 1: be Offensive Player of the Year. And then you know,
- 9:20Speaker 1: let's get ready into that MVP conversation while we're there,
- 9:23Speaker 1: and I tweeted, Joe Burrow should be the MVP. You know,
- 9:28Speaker 1: if you look at previous seasons, he joins Tom Brady
- 9:31Speaker 1: and Rogers with qbs more than forty five hundred passing
- 9:34Speaker 1: yards forty tds in less than ten interceptions. But the
- 9:39Speaker 1: thing why I think Joe Burrow and I appreciate Joe
- 9:43Speaker 1: for shouting me out, you know, and acknowledging you know
- 9:47Speaker 1: what I think of him, because I think you have.
- 9:49Speaker 2: Your peers standing up for you. And you know, I
- 9:53Speaker 2: got a lot of respect from Micah and has I've
- 9:56Speaker 2: seen the things that he said about me, and you
- 9:58Speaker 2: know that makes you feel good. You know, I put
- 10:01Speaker 2: a lot of work into this to to go out
- 10:03Speaker 2: and play well every Sunday, and when you know, you
- 10:07Speaker 2: have conversations with the opposing team and coaches, and you
- 10:11Speaker 2: know you see comments like that, you know it's a
- 10:16Speaker 2: it's a good feeling. You know, that's not why you
- 10:18Speaker 2: do it, but in a season like this, it's those
- 10:23Speaker 2: those things are they make you feel good, and so
- 10:25Speaker 2: I appreciate those.
- 10:27Speaker 1: I'm gonna put it like this, It's pretty plain and simple. Obviously,
- 10:31Speaker 1: I played the Bengals. It was a great matchup. Unfortunate
- 10:35Speaker 1: series of events happened in the game where you know
- 10:38Speaker 1: they end up winning. But watching the film breaking it
- 10:42Speaker 1: down and seeing what he's been doing, I just don't
- 10:47Speaker 1: think there is a greater asset to a team than
- 10:50Speaker 1: Joe Burrow to the Bengals. I've seen, you know, and
- 10:58Speaker 1: this is a prime example. You know, I've seen, you know,
- 11:02Speaker 1: times where Josh Allen's defense stepped up in one of
- 11:04Speaker 1: them games. I've seen times when Lamar's defense stepped up
- 11:08Speaker 1: in one of them games. Dick Henry, you know, you
- 11:12Speaker 1: could go on, you know, whoever's in your MVP conversation.
- 11:15Speaker 1: I've seen them, you know, come cruise you Lamar. And
- 11:18Speaker 1: you know it's not fair for Lamar because Lamar's right
- 11:20Speaker 1: there where special teams have cost them two or three games.
- 11:24Speaker 1: To be fair, special teams have cost to Lamar two
- 11:27Speaker 1: or three games. But you know, I look at it
- 11:32Speaker 1: like special teams cost Joe Burrow some games and the
- 11:36Speaker 1: Steelers game to be exact. But it's like, if you
- 11:41Speaker 1: take Joe Burrow from the Bengals, this team might be
- 11:45Speaker 1: up for a top five pick in the draft. I
- 11:49Speaker 1: don't think they win eight games without Joe Burrow. I
- 11:51Speaker 1: think this is probably a eleven eleven win team if
- 11:57Speaker 1: the defense, the special teams would have locked in a
- 12:01Speaker 1: little bit more des probably eleven twelve win team. This
- 12:05Speaker 1: is a number one offense in the NFL, led by
- 12:07Speaker 1: Joe Burrow, you know, and people could say always throwing
- 12:11Speaker 1: to Jamar. Chase T. Higgins was out half the year.
- 12:15Speaker 1: He missed a lot of games this year, you know.
- 12:19Speaker 1: So it's not just the weapons because we see, you know,
- 12:25Speaker 1: we see other quarterbacks who have the tandem where they
- 12:29Speaker 1: don't have as much as says with their number one
- 12:31Speaker 1: receiver out there. I get they're not Jamar Chase, but
- 12:35Speaker 1: you know Sam Donald is doing with Justin Jefferson, so
- 12:38Speaker 1: it's not like it's unheard of. But I truly believe
- 12:42Speaker 1: if you check Joe Burrow of to this team, they
- 12:43Speaker 1: don't win more than five games. And since they want
- 12:47Speaker 1: to make it like the quarterback is the most valuable position,
- 12:51Speaker 1: I think Joe Burrow and let's take it across. Joe
- 12:54Speaker 1: Burrow doesn't have the line that these other quarterbacks have.
- 12:59Speaker 1: The Ravens line is better than the Bengals O line,
- 13:05Speaker 1: the Bills, Buffalo Bills. This offensive line is better than Bengals.
- 13:10Speaker 1: You got to think Joe. Both of Joe burrows starting
- 13:13Speaker 1: offensive tackles are out, Orlando Brown's out, Trent Brown's out.
- 13:18Speaker 1: So he is doing this without pretty much a scrapped
- 13:25Speaker 1: up piece together offensive line and pretty much a scrapped
- 13:29Speaker 1: up piece together defense. He he, without a doubt, should
- 13:34Speaker 1: be MVP. He has done. He has took this team
- 13:39Speaker 1: from what were they five and eight, four and eight
- 13:45Speaker 1: to eight and eight and a chance to solidify in playoffs.
- 13:51Speaker 1: This is not just a walking apart season. This is
- 13:55Speaker 1: like he's having a historical season. If if they go
- 14:00Speaker 1: to playoffs. I think if they go to playoffs, I
- 14:03Speaker 1: don't think any team will want to see the Bengals.
- 14:09Speaker 1: He looks unstoppable right now. His timing, precision, everything like
- 14:19Speaker 1: you I think if you ask anybody in the league
- 14:21Speaker 1: right now, this ain't just me. And we talked about
- 14:24Speaker 1: in locker room. We said Joe Burrow was the best
- 14:26Speaker 1: quarterback we faced, and we played Lamar this year. Now
- 14:31Speaker 1: we played them early. We get I get that, you know,
- 14:34Speaker 1: and times he played Joe Burrow, he was in rhythm.
- 14:37Speaker 1: But you can't ask anybody on the team. We said
- 14:40Speaker 1: Joe Burrow was the best quarterback in the National Football
- 14:43Speaker 1: League this year, without a doubt. So when it comes
- 14:48Speaker 1: to MVP, he's there, you know what I mean. I
- 14:51Speaker 1: get the Josh argument. It's there, But Lamar's beating seven
- 14:56Speaker 1: playoff teams, Josh beating two, So it has to be
- 15:02Speaker 1: between Lamar and Joe Burrow. I get the Josh argument.
- 15:05Speaker 1: I'm a big Josh Allen fan. I think he's dope.
- 15:07Speaker 1: I think he is a monster of a quarterback. He's
- 15:11Speaker 1: one of the more on stop But right now, Joe
- 15:14Speaker 1: Burrow and Lamar on a whole other level. I don't
- 15:16Speaker 1: even think it's close, you know, like it can't even
- 15:20Speaker 1: come to be close, you know what I mean. It's
- 15:23Speaker 1: so crazy, right is that? And what Joe's doing is
- 15:29Speaker 1: that we will all say Denver had you know, pretty
- 15:32Speaker 1: much a top five defense in NFL. I had them
- 15:36Speaker 1: top three. He went out there and gave them four
- 15:40Speaker 1: hundred yards three, four touchdowns and no interceptions. Do you
- 15:47Speaker 1: know how elite that is? And this is what's special
- 15:52Speaker 1: about Joe Burrow. He literally gave y'all two game winning
- 15:58Speaker 1: drives in overtime, actually three if we look at it.
- 16:05Speaker 1: He went down there, scored, put him in the league.
- 16:10Speaker 1: They tied, you know, the Bengals defense allowed them to
- 16:14Speaker 1: tie the game. So he gets the ball, he goes
- 16:19Speaker 1: out and again they get complacent. They take three. They
- 16:23Speaker 1: missed the field goal. Wow, do your job. Then you say, oh,
- 16:28Speaker 1: no way. You know they can do it again, they said,
- 16:31Speaker 1: But Joe said, yo, I'm not going for the field
- 16:34Speaker 1: goal no more. I'm a score. And that's what did
- 16:37Speaker 1: I see? Joe MVP numb more offensive league. Like if
- 16:43Speaker 1: we're talking about valuable valuable, he's the most valuable player
- 16:46Speaker 1: to his team, without a doubt. But let's get into
- 16:49Speaker 1: the so much more aspect. Let's talk about someone who's
- 16:52Speaker 1: doing so much more for their team this season, just
- 16:55Speaker 1: like how Nationwide is so much more than a great
- 16:57Speaker 1: insurance company, their financial service company too. And as Trey
- 17:01Speaker 1: McBride was the first player have over eighty seven catches
- 17:05Speaker 1: with our touchdown into the game against the Rams, he
- 17:07Speaker 1: went off twelve receptions, one hundred and twenty three yards
- 17:10Speaker 1: and one TV. For the season, he's at one hundred
- 17:13Speaker 1: and four receptions in over a thousand yards. Keep going tray,
- 17:17Speaker 1: keep hooping, You're doing amazing. Also, he's a nominee for
- 17:21Speaker 1: the wal In Peyton Man of the Year Award presented
- 17:23Speaker 1: by Nationwide. He's been a dedicated ambassador for girls flag football,
- 17:28Speaker 1: supporting the Arizona Cardinals leadership and advancing the sport. He's
- 17:32Speaker 1: also participated in the NFL's eighth annual Tackling Reading initiative.
- 17:37Speaker 1: Keep going Tray, order off the field. You're hooping. But
- 17:42Speaker 1: let's continue NFC playoff picture. After starting one and four
- 17:46Speaker 1: of the Rams have clinched the NFC West with one
- 17:49Speaker 1: week to spare. Then I tell y'all, Can I tell y'all?
- 17:55Speaker 1: This is like the Bengals to me of the NFC,
- 18:00Speaker 1: they don't want to run into the Rams right now.
- 18:03Speaker 1: Sean McVay with Pooka, Nicole, Cooper Cup, Corbin Kyen Williams,
- 18:10Speaker 1: he's dolling it up. Matthew Stafford's healthy. This is a
- 18:14Speaker 1: scary team. This is a scary team offensively, and their
- 18:18Speaker 1: defensive rookies are stepping up. Jared Versus a menace. He's
- 18:22Speaker 1: a menace, you know, he is doing unbelievable things that Finetsky,
- 18:28Speaker 1: that defensive line they're holding together, and they lost players
- 18:32Speaker 1: this year this week. It shows you how good of
- 18:34Speaker 1: a coach McVeigh really is, you know, just spending some
- 18:37Speaker 1: time with him in training camp, he's one of the
- 18:40Speaker 1: most exceptional coaches I've ever been around. Of like, he's
- 18:43Speaker 1: one of them coaches like yo, you will want to
- 18:46Speaker 1: play for him one day. Exceptional is he is one
- 18:51Speaker 1: of the best minds in football, without a doubt. They
- 18:55Speaker 1: don't want to see them. I think they are going
- 18:59Speaker 1: to scare teams when they line up. When this team's healthy,
- 19:02Speaker 1: they're dangerous. They're dangerous, one of the most dangerous teams
- 19:05Speaker 1: in football. You think about the Rams like like and
- 19:09Speaker 1: you think about their Super Bowl year and they made trades.
- 19:12Speaker 1: They just know how to click at the right time.
- 19:15Speaker 1: That's the day like they have these rough patches or
- 19:18Speaker 1: what they're fighting themselves, their identity, then they just start clicking.
- 19:21Speaker 1: Football is all about clicking at the right time. That's
- 19:24Speaker 1: how you make your runs. So the fact that they're
- 19:28Speaker 1: making this run right now, teams should be scared. They're
- 19:32Speaker 1: finding ways to win, and they're coming together. Pooka is healthy.
- 19:38Speaker 1: I mean the team looks completely different when poking the
- 19:40Speaker 1: Cools on the field, truthfully, completely different. The number one
- 19:46Speaker 1: seed that MC comes down to the final game of
- 19:48Speaker 1: the regular season, Vikings versus Lions loser against the fifth seed.
- 19:54Speaker 1: This game is, man, man, this is gonna be crazy.
- 20:05Speaker 1: This is gonna be crazy. I honestly I'm gonna take
- 20:10Speaker 1: But honestly, I'm probably gonna go with the Vikings. Man.
- 20:15Speaker 1: I love the Lions. I'm offering Lions with what they
- 20:18Speaker 1: were becoming. I just think the injuries are too catastrophic.
- 20:23Speaker 1: That the Lions took two catastrophic losing link McNeil, Aiden Hutchinson.
- 20:34Speaker 1: They lost Carlton Davis, three four linebackers. I get it.
- 20:41Speaker 1: But defense wi championships. I understand how good that offense is,
- 20:46Speaker 1: but can you It's about can you affect Sam Donald
- 20:50Speaker 1: from getting the ball out to probably the best trio,
- 20:55Speaker 1: the best healthy trio in the NFL. I'm taking the Vikings, man.
- 21:01Speaker 1: They have the best healthy trio in the National Football League,
- 21:05Speaker 1: Justin Jefferson, Jordan Adamson, t J. Hockinson, and we cannot forget.
- 21:10Speaker 1: And that's just receiving. We're not even talking about how
- 21:14Speaker 1: good Aaron Jones is. I think they're gonna be too
- 21:22Speaker 1: much to overcome. And if Vikns have a top three
- 21:24Speaker 1: defense in the NFL, there's gonna be too much to overcome.
- 21:30Speaker 1: And the Lions do have to finish tonight. They have
- 21:32Speaker 1: to finish tonight. But heading into the final week, who
- 21:35Speaker 1: are my top five teams in the NFC. Let's break
- 21:39Speaker 1: it down. Can we pull up the playoff Let's just
- 21:43Speaker 1: do the playoff teams. I think at five, I'm gonna
- 21:50Speaker 1: go with the Packers. I'm not even gonna give it
- 21:55Speaker 1: to the Packers right now. No, I can't give it
- 21:57Speaker 1: to the Packers because I don't think they beat in
- 22:00Speaker 1: enough playoff teams like I don't think the Packers scare
- 22:06Speaker 1: me as much as At five, I think I'm gonna
- 22:09Speaker 1: go with the commanders. I'm gonna go with the commanders,
- 22:13Speaker 1: Jenden Dames. People should be scared to see Jayden Dames
- 22:16Speaker 1: in these playoffs. People should truly be scared of Jaydene Dames.
- 22:21Speaker 1: The way he's finished these last four or five, last
- 22:25Speaker 1: four or five weeks, it's been truly amazing. At four,
- 22:33Speaker 1: I'm gonna say the Rams I told you this healthy
- 22:39Speaker 1: offense behind Sean McVay is probably one of the most dangerous,
- 22:44Speaker 1: dangerous lead through offenses in the NFL. People should be
- 22:49Speaker 1: scare them. They're clicking at the right time. Pookahs healthy,
- 22:52Speaker 1: Everything's going right. At three, I'm gonna take the Detroit Lions.
- 23:00Speaker 1: As much as injuries as they are they took offensive defensively,
- 23:05Speaker 1: they are still a good team and they play together
- 23:07Speaker 1: and they find ways to win game. And I'm never
- 23:10Speaker 1: betting against a team that has Ben Johnson as the O.
- 23:14Speaker 1: C Well, he's been dialing up in the regular season.
- 23:18Speaker 1: I can only imagine when he dives up in the playoffs.
- 23:23Speaker 1: He has been a menace of an offensive coordinator. Ben
- 23:28Speaker 1: Johnson the guy that's gonna be a future head coach.
- 23:31Speaker 1: This allseason has been the best OC in the National
- 23:34Speaker 1: Football League besides McVeigh this year one, he has been dominant, dominant,
- 23:42Speaker 1: calling these game plans. Dominant. I think at number two,
- 23:48Speaker 1: I'm going with Philly. I'm going with Philly. At two,
- 23:51Speaker 1: we're going with Philly with Sakuan two K, Jalen Hurts,
- 23:58Speaker 1: AJ Brown, Davonte's, Johann Dotson, and of course Philly's up front.
- 24:04Speaker 1: I mean, this is probably one of the most complete
- 24:05Speaker 1: teams in football defensively, the way that jon Quenyall, Mitchell Slay,
- 24:12Speaker 1: I mean, Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis, Nolan Smith, the way
- 24:15Speaker 1: they've been playing together and came together to it. They're
- 24:19Speaker 1: one of the most dangerous teams in football. I give
- 24:22Speaker 1: credit on its due No Hayden and that number one,
- 24:25Speaker 1: I'm going with Minnesota. Minnesota has been a team that
- 24:31Speaker 1: no one probably would have bet on to be in
- 24:33Speaker 1: this spot right now. They're the team that no one
- 24:36Speaker 1: probably better be in the spot right now. I honestly say,
- 24:40Speaker 1: coming into the season, when they said their rookie quarterback
- 24:43Speaker 1: got hurt and Sam Donald was gonna be the starter,
- 24:49Speaker 1: I did not think that they would be a fourteen
- 24:51Speaker 1: wins team. And I apologize sculd Nation. I apologize I
- 24:56Speaker 1: doubted y'all one hundred percent. But I'm gonna say like this,
- 25:03Speaker 1: I believe that Sam Donald got so much better because
- 25:07Speaker 1: I believe he was actually coached and san fran when
- 25:10Speaker 1: he sat behind Party and he was with Shanahan, he
- 25:13Speaker 1: actually got coached. I think the difference in a lot
- 25:16Speaker 1: of these programs is when you have a great offensive coordinator,
- 25:20Speaker 1: they actually coach you. I think that's the missing part
- 25:24Speaker 1: about all these rookie quarterbacks. They're not being coached, They're
- 25:27Speaker 1: not being taught the game of football. And I think
- 25:30Speaker 1: when you're dealing with a complex system like Shanahan and
- 25:35Speaker 1: you know, even Baker with the Buccaneers with bowls, when
- 25:40Speaker 1: you actually got these good ocs, and even Jared Goff
- 25:43Speaker 1: when he got to Detroit he got with Ben Johnson.
- 25:45Speaker 1: When you're actually getting coached to be a quarterback, you
- 25:49Speaker 1: make jumps. And what Sam Donald is doing with his
- 25:54Speaker 1: OC and Brian Flores is doing with that defense, like
- 25:59Speaker 1: I said, have one of the most dangerous and I
- 26:02Speaker 1: get uh and I get Eagles. They have a dangerous
- 26:05Speaker 1: trio as well. With Dods and aj Brown and Smith.
- 26:10Speaker 1: But we can all say that justin Jefferson, you know
- 26:15Speaker 1: they've been one and two. You know, him and Jamar
- 26:18Speaker 1: Chase are the best receivers in the league. You know,
- 26:21Speaker 1: in this playoff pitcher. Obviously you know my dog Ceede Lamb.
- 26:24Speaker 1: I think he's the greatest receiver of anybody. But in
- 26:27Speaker 1: this playoff pitcher, you know, if two guys is in it,
- 26:30Speaker 1: you know what I mean, I'm I'm taking that Minnesota
- 26:34Speaker 1: offense right now. They have been clicking, and that defense
- 26:37Speaker 1: has been unbelievable, unbelievable. Defense been unbelievable. So my number
- 26:46Speaker 1: one team has to be Minnesota, you know what I mean. So,
- 26:52Speaker 1: and it's just like no one predicted this, and then
- 26:56Speaker 1: you say, we're Sam Donald going to be after this year.
- 26:59Speaker 1: I think he's gonna be in Minnesota. I think the
- 27:05Speaker 1: Vikings should go with the Baker Mayfield approach, gives him
- 27:08Speaker 1: Donald a three year, one hundred and sixty whatever, forty million.
- 27:11Speaker 1: I think he deserves forty million dollars a year contract.
- 27:15Speaker 1: And I think you keep McCarthy. Uh yeah, you keep him,
- 27:20Speaker 1: you one hundred, keep him, you keep you give him
- 27:22Speaker 1: a Jordan Love effect. If Sam Donald continues to trend
- 27:25Speaker 1: up and you keep him, and you know you you
- 27:30Speaker 1: continue his progression throughout your franchise. If not, you have
- 27:34Speaker 1: a young, stellar, young quarterback that step into the place,
- 27:37Speaker 1: and you know how injuries happen. You know, injuries are
- 27:41Speaker 1: lead through this league, and quarterbacks been dropping out. Look
- 27:44Speaker 1: at look at our quarterback. You know, I think you
- 27:46Speaker 1: need a great one two punch at quarterback to survive
- 27:50Speaker 1: in the NFL. Survive in the NFL. There's no there's
- 27:53Speaker 1: no doubt about I do not think you should get
- 27:55Speaker 1: rid of JJ, no doubt about it. And I probably
- 28:01Speaker 1: think he should get a little bit more MVP buzz,
- 28:05Speaker 1: But I don't think he's on the same caliber as
- 28:07Speaker 1: Joe Burrow Lamar Jackson this year, and I wouldn't even
- 28:11Speaker 1: give him after that. I would say Sae Kwon Barkley's
- 28:13Speaker 1: right there. So you know, I think he's deserving, he's
- 28:18Speaker 1: of a big contract, a major pay day. I think
- 28:20Speaker 1: he's did all his work. But some of these guys
- 28:25Speaker 1: is just you know, light years ahead about what they
- 28:28Speaker 1: did this year, and you know, and it goes to
- 28:33Speaker 1: show you and I and I kind of hit on
- 28:34Speaker 1: it about you know these o c's and actually being coached.
- 28:38Speaker 1: But you know, notice about and I've told you guys
- 28:42Speaker 1: this before, like situations environments mean so much. Look Sam
- 28:47Speaker 1: Donald and Baker Mayfield were both on the Panthers together.
- 28:52Speaker 1: Like the environment and actually being coached, and it's still great.
- 28:55Speaker 1: Game plans really matter. So when you say, you see
- 29:00Speaker 1: why sometimes coaches get fired. But when you guys say, oh,
- 29:03Speaker 1: this player sucks, this player's not doing well, he's not
- 29:06Speaker 1: being coached, I don't think that you have a And
- 29:11Speaker 1: I get and this is not all cases, This is
- 29:13Speaker 1: not all cases, but I truly don't believe that players
- 29:17Speaker 1: can just drop like that, you know, like and they
- 29:20Speaker 1: can have so much success up here in this sky dive.
- 29:23Speaker 1: I just think they're not being coached the right way.
- 29:25Speaker 1: They're not being understood. And I get it's the pros, right,
- 29:29Speaker 1: there's professionalism into it. There's a whole lot of aspects.
- 29:33Speaker 1: But I think the biggest thing that I'm grateful for
- 29:35Speaker 1: is that in my life I had great coaches. My
- 29:38Speaker 1: first four years in the NFL, I had Dan Quinn,
- 29:41Speaker 1: I had Mike Zimmerman. But you know, the person who
- 29:44Speaker 1: truly taught me football was coach Edwards. You know he's
- 29:49Speaker 1: the linebacker coach right now, But Coach g taught me
- 29:53Speaker 1: football every morning. He had me in there at seven am,
- 29:56Speaker 1: six thirty am, going through young guys meetings, teaching me
- 29:59Speaker 1: to game of football, where to put my eyes with
- 30:02Speaker 1: the red, giving me hands and tips when the ball
- 30:05Speaker 1: was going to be snapped, like he taught me football.
- 30:07Speaker 1: And you saw the progression of how when I started
- 30:10Speaker 1: my first four games and how I finished my year
- 30:13Speaker 1: and I became an All Pro because of that. Man,
- 30:15Speaker 1: I'm telling you, coaching truly does matter. And you say I.
- 30:21Speaker 1: And that's why it bothers me when teams give up
- 30:24Speaker 1: on players so easily, because sometimes we don't look in
- 30:27Speaker 1: the mirror. What am I doing everything I possibly can
- 30:31Speaker 1: for this player that I invested in that say he's
- 30:33Speaker 1: going to be a franchise player to secede. If I
- 30:37Speaker 1: take a player in the first round, I'm saying he
- 30:39Speaker 1: needs to secede for me. He needs to succeed. And
- 30:43Speaker 1: am I doing everything Am I possible manity for this
- 30:45Speaker 1: player to succeede? That's what you have to look at,
- 30:48Speaker 1: and that's what fans y'all have to look at is
- 30:50Speaker 1: our gm is are older doing everything I possibly way
- 30:54Speaker 1: for our players to succeed, and if they aren't, you
- 30:57Speaker 1: guys should be outraged. The fans should be outraged, not
- 31:00Speaker 1: by the production on the field, but you guys don't
- 31:03Speaker 1: see it. You should be outraised by with the owner
- 31:07Speaker 1: and the coaches are allowing. You're only gonna do as
- 31:11Speaker 1: much as the coaches and everyone allows you. You know,
- 31:14Speaker 1: I think when you're in NFL, for the most part,
- 31:16Speaker 1: everyone wants to win. Everyone wants to win, everyone wants
- 31:19Speaker 1: the Super Bowl, and if you don't want that, you're
- 31:21Speaker 1: probably in the wrong sport. So you know that that
- 31:25Speaker 1: really just bothers me. We give it way too quick.
- 31:30Speaker 1: And then, you know, I do want to give a
- 31:32Speaker 1: big shout out to the twenty four draft class, right
- 31:34Speaker 1: they got four rookie receivers that alreach a thousand yards
- 31:39Speaker 1: and out, you know, shout to Bark Powers, Brian Thomas,
- 31:42Speaker 1: Malik Neighbors, and Ladd McConkie. Lad I had you in fantasy.
- 31:46Speaker 1: I appreciate you, but you know, they had a great
- 31:49Speaker 1: rookie class, but they need a little bit more to
- 31:54Speaker 1: say they up there with twenty twenty one draft class
- 31:56Speaker 1: or that twenty eighteen draft class. That twenty eighteen class
- 31:59Speaker 1: class is still up there one of the best, so
- 32:01Speaker 1: is twenty eleven. They still you know, they got Drake
- 32:04Speaker 1: Made Joe, you know, Jayden Daniels, bow Knicks, Uh, you know,
- 32:09Speaker 1: Chat Robinson. They got a couple guys, but they're just
- 32:12Speaker 1: not like I think the difference is is when you
- 32:16Speaker 1: look at like, you know, I think Brock Bowers has
- 32:19Speaker 1: a chance to be All Pro. But in my rookie class,
- 32:24Speaker 1: we had three or four rookies that were first team
- 32:26Speaker 1: All pros Rashaun Slater, myself, Jamar Chase, maybe Cree Humphrey.
- 32:35Speaker 1: But you know, eventually who I was the first team
- 32:38Speaker 1: All Pro. And you know, there's so many other guys, uh,
- 32:42Speaker 1: you know min Saint Brown, this our Dragon class. It's uncomparable.
- 32:46Speaker 1: But you know, shout out to those other guys. Shout
- 32:49Speaker 1: out to those other guys. And you know, Aaron Rodgers.
- 32:55Speaker 1: Let's get into Aaron Rodgers and the Jets a if
- 32:58Speaker 1: you know, if you have time, go tap into that
- 33:01Speaker 1: Aaron Rodgers documentary on Netflix. That has been one of
- 33:04Speaker 1: the most interesting things from one of the greatest quarterbacks
- 33:08Speaker 1: that I've ever seen my own eyes, and uh, you
- 33:12Speaker 1: know the irony of that is he's became the most
- 33:14Speaker 1: sat quarterback in the NFL history. You know so, but
- 33:22Speaker 1: you know they're down too often. You know, two or
- 33:24Speaker 1: three offensive lineman. You know they're going through injuries. But
- 33:29Speaker 1: I think that Aaron Rodgers and Garrett Wilson saga is
- 33:32Speaker 1: all BS. I see it in our own locker room.
- 33:37Speaker 1: I think, like anybody, everyone goes through hard times and
- 33:40Speaker 1: it's tough, and it's tough, you know. But Aaron Rodgers,
- 33:48Speaker 1: if you watch that documentary, you see how bad he
- 33:51Speaker 1: wants to win, how bad he wants to be on
- 33:53Speaker 1: that field. And when you got a forty year old
- 33:56Speaker 1: guy forty one that's been the best course back in
- 34:00Speaker 1: the league, a multi MVP at super Bowl champion, I
- 34:04Speaker 1: don't want to get rid of it. He has so
- 34:05Speaker 1: much knowledge. I don't want to be away from this guy.
- 34:10Speaker 1: And there are hardships. There are hardships, and you got
- 34:12Speaker 1: to embrace those. But I think they have to run
- 34:15Speaker 1: it back. I think they should run it back. I
- 34:19Speaker 1: think it's all BS. Garret Wilson is going to be
- 34:21Speaker 1: a for lifeer. He's not getting out of that three
- 34:23Speaker 1: sixty deal with the Jets. He's one of those guys
- 34:25Speaker 1: that's going to be a very good wide receiver for
- 34:27Speaker 1: a very long time. And you know, you know Sauce
- 34:33Speaker 1: Garden saying he won't be telling T Higgins to come
- 34:37Speaker 1: to New York, Well, dug, When you got Garrett Wilson
- 34:39Speaker 1: and DeVante Adams, why would T Higgins come to be
- 34:42Speaker 1: a three? You know what I mean? Like? Why would
- 34:45Speaker 1: he come? So? I think people are reaching, they're going
- 34:49Speaker 1: way out of the ordinary over this. This team will
- 34:53Speaker 1: be okay. They're just going through a lot of hardship.
- 34:55Speaker 1: Remember this is their first year really together. They're still jelling.
- 34:59Speaker 1: So I wouldn't be two phased, Judge Nation, I would
- 35:02Speaker 1: not be phased at all. Let's get into college football.
- 35:07Speaker 1: There's been a bunch of bs with the cam Ward
- 35:11Speaker 1: a bunch of bs. Let's let's get this straight right.
- 35:18Speaker 1: None of y'all know the true aspects about what was
- 35:21Speaker 1: agreed upon when cam was playing, when he wasn't playing.
- 35:25Speaker 1: And this is coming from a guy who I opted
- 35:27Speaker 1: out during the COVID year. That stuff does not matter.
- 35:33Speaker 1: Cam Ward is the best quarterback and college football. He
- 35:39Speaker 1: should be the number one quarterback taken without a doubt.
- 35:44Speaker 1: He okay, he played a half, and he said, if
- 35:48Speaker 1: that was what was agreed upon, that was agreed upon,
- 35:50Speaker 1: y'all can't be upset about that. And then if he
- 35:52Speaker 1: got the record, he got the record, Why does that
- 35:54Speaker 1: matter a bowl game? They weren't in the They were not.
- 35:58Speaker 1: Let's let's be so real, y'all. They were not in
- 36:02Speaker 1: the college football playoff. They were not. That game literally
- 36:08Speaker 1: meant nothing. He was not playing for anything besides the
- 36:14Speaker 1: pitch of hard where it might go up into his closet,
- 36:20Speaker 1: you know what I mean. He's not playing for a
- 36:22Speaker 1: super Bowl. He was not playing for a super Bowl.
- 36:26Speaker 1: He was not playing for an NFC wildcard game. Give
- 36:29Speaker 1: the kid a break, like y'all are reaching. He is
- 36:33Speaker 1: the best quarterback in college football. He gave you a
- 36:39Speaker 1: great first half, y'all. Don't know what's agreed upon. Lead
- 36:44Speaker 1: that man alone. Please lead that man alone, you know.
- 36:49Speaker 1: And if I was his teammate and he told me
- 36:52Speaker 1: prior with the outcome of how much time he was
- 36:56Speaker 1: giving us, then I will understand. And even if he didn't,
- 37:01Speaker 1: Even if he didn't, it's his right to protect himself
- 37:07Speaker 1: because if a player would have blew out Canward's knee woild,
- 37:11Speaker 1: y'all would have had that same attitude for how many
- 37:14Speaker 1: other players out that of all ball games, there's players
- 37:18Speaker 1: that weren't even bowl games because they went to the
- 37:20Speaker 1: transfer portal. If a player would have blew out his knee,
- 37:26Speaker 1: would y'all have that same energy for him off of
- 37:30Speaker 1: someone would have tore his shoulder off? Would y'all have
- 37:32Speaker 1: that same energy for him? Y'all need to put y'all
- 37:35Speaker 1: shoes on his feet. He's gonna be a top five
- 37:37Speaker 1: pick in four months, four or five months, he's gonna
- 37:42Speaker 1: be a top five pick. Why would he risk it
- 37:45Speaker 1: for half of football that's gonna be collecting dust In
- 37:49Speaker 1: three years, he's gonna win a Rookie of the Year
- 37:53Speaker 1: trophy most likely. Man, get that kid a break man, please.
- 37:58Speaker 1: But playoff predictions, Uh, it's gonna be interesting. You know,
- 38:03Speaker 1: we didn't see a whole lot of film on that
- 38:06Speaker 1: Georgia quarterback and that Georgia Tech game. But I think
- 38:11Speaker 1: Georgia's defense and their run game is gonna be too
- 38:15Speaker 1: much for Notre Dame. I'm taking Georgia. I'm taking Penn
- 38:19Speaker 1: State over Boise. I think Boise needs more than Ashton
- 38:22Speaker 1: to be Penn State. I don't know if they have that.
- 38:26Speaker 1: It's gonna be a great game. I can't wait to
- 38:29Speaker 1: watch it, but I'm taking Penn State. Honestly, I hate
- 38:34Speaker 1: to say this, but I'm if Will Howard can play
- 38:37Speaker 1: like he did against Tennessee, I'm taking Ohio State over
- 38:40Speaker 1: Oregon in the rematch. If he could play that type
- 38:43Speaker 1: of football like he did last week against Tennessee, High
- 38:50Speaker 1: State will be really, really good. I'm gonna take them
- 38:54Speaker 1: in the rematch. Arizona State over Texas, I'm taking Texas.
- 38:59Speaker 1: I think Texas defense is too good and Quinn is
- 39:02Speaker 1: due for a breakout game. He's been sluggish the last
- 39:05Speaker 1: couple of weeks, but this is a perfect opportunity to him.
- 39:08Speaker 1: Forget his draft stack, back up, backup. I think he's
- 39:11Speaker 1: been sluggish, but this is the opportunity for him to
- 39:15Speaker 1: play better. He didn't even play great that first game.
- 39:19Speaker 1: I thought they run game carried him. But against a
- 39:21Speaker 1: team like Arizona State, he has to be able to play.
- 39:24Speaker 1: He has to be at the best. He has to
- 39:25Speaker 1: be the biggest moment and I'm staying with that. But
- 39:31Speaker 1: you know, that's pretty much it y'all when in Week
- 39:35Speaker 1: eighteen playing against you know, a dangerous Commander's team. We
- 39:39Speaker 1: want to finish the game. We want to finish it, y'all.
- 39:41Speaker 1: Strong Cowboys Nation, tapping on more with your boy. We
- 39:45Speaker 1: got appreciated. While we hear it's gonna be a great environment.
- 39:49Speaker 1: I need everyone to come out. It's the last one
- 39:52Speaker 1: division game. It means a lot. Man. Let's do it, y'all.
- 39:56Speaker 1: Let's do it. Let's let's go sweep the Commanders given
- 40:00Speaker 1: a nasty taste in their mouth before playoffs, and let's
- 40:04Speaker 1: just do our big one, y'all. We got nothing to lose.
- 40:07Speaker 1: Let's just go be great. Let's go, you know, let's
- 40:10Speaker 1: go win a game at home in front of the fans,
- 40:14Speaker 1: and let's just create some excitement. Let's give us a memory,
- 40:17Speaker 1: you know, some energy to go into next year. Let's
- 40:19Speaker 1: do it, you know. And you know, I hope everyone's
- 40:26Speaker 1: thinking about their New Year's resolutions and what they want
- 40:29Speaker 1: to be. And you know, I was talking about that today. Man.
- 40:32Speaker 1: I just want to be, you know, a better father,
- 40:34Speaker 1: better person every year. You know, I just want to
- 40:39Speaker 1: be that guy that just does everything right, you know,
- 40:42Speaker 1: keep challenging myself and pushing myself personally, not just football
- 40:46Speaker 1: or business, just personally, just you know that. I think
- 40:49Speaker 1: that's what's important, you know, fatherhood, life, friends, enjoying and
- 40:54Speaker 1: having fun with what you do in your life and career.
- 40:57Speaker 1: I think at the end of the day, that's really
- 40:59Speaker 1: that all that matters. And let's take some final questions
- 41:01Speaker 1: from the chat. If you create a Bowl game, what
- 41:05Speaker 1: would it be? What would the winners get in a mascot?
- 41:12Speaker 1: I think if I could create a Bowl game, it
- 41:17Speaker 1: would be like, I don't know. I think if I
- 41:26Speaker 1: was I think each player would get like a ninety
- 41:29Speaker 1: flash screen TV something like that. I think I would
- 41:31Speaker 1: give a pretty awesome award, though I don't know what
- 41:33Speaker 1: I would call it. Yeah. Thoughts on Lebron saying Christmas
- 41:40Speaker 1: Day was still the NBA's you know, Lebron's holding on
- 41:45Speaker 1: Lebron's holding on I think the NFL is the number
- 41:48Speaker 1: one sport in America. It might be number one across seas,
- 41:53Speaker 1: but in America, and even then it's probably soccer. It
- 41:56Speaker 1: will always be either football or football. Football or football.
- 42:02Speaker 1: That's what it would be, point blank period, real aggression,
- 42:07Speaker 1: real physical sports are played. I think the NBA just
- 42:11Speaker 1: got too soft. I just truly think it just got
- 42:14Speaker 1: too soft, and y'all make it impossible for us to watch.
- 42:18Speaker 1: You know, football, you know where it's always going to be.
- 42:20Speaker 1: So I just think football is taken over in every aspect.
- 42:25Speaker 1: Lad was on your fantasy team? Who else was on
- 42:27Speaker 1: your fantasy team? Did you win your league? No? I
- 42:30Speaker 1: did not win my league. I'm extremely disappointed. Half my
- 42:34Speaker 1: team was hurt. Tareck Hill was on my team, Davonte Smith.
- 42:41Speaker 1: I had UH Dereck Henry, which was a great draft pick.
- 42:45Speaker 1: I had Tony Pollard, I had myself. I had UH
- 42:53Speaker 1: Steelers defense. I had Lad and my quarterback I alternated.
- 43:06Speaker 1: I had party to UH and I forget there was
- 43:14Speaker 1: one more. You sound like a true GM. Is that
- 43:19Speaker 1: something you ever want to do? I think I would
- 43:23Speaker 1: like to be a GM one day, I really do.
- 43:30Speaker 1: I think I want to like I think I want
- 43:32Speaker 1: to coach. I don't want to coach college or NFL.
- 43:35Speaker 1: I want to coach high school. But if ever given
- 43:38Speaker 1: the opportunity, like Tom Brady to be able to help
- 43:42Speaker 1: draft and manage a team and be an owner or
- 43:46Speaker 1: even be under that just GM, and you know when
- 43:49Speaker 1: it comes to coaching and things like that. I think
- 43:52Speaker 1: I would love that. I think I truly would. I
- 43:55Speaker 1: would embrace the opportunity. And fantasy is better than rotate
- 44:01Speaker 1: defenses depending on matchup or still with one offseason, I
- 44:03Speaker 1: think it's better to rotate. I will rotate between forty
- 44:06Speaker 1: nine ers and stealers, depending who they were playing one.
- 44:11Speaker 1: And yes, I watched the Beyonce Bowl. I wouldn't have
- 44:13Speaker 1: missed it for the world. But that's the end of
- 44:16Speaker 1: this episode chat. We got one more week left. We
- 44:19Speaker 1: will be doing some playoff content playoff episodes, so I
- 44:25Speaker 1: appreciate y'all for staying with me this whole season. It's
- 44:29Speaker 1: the last week. I can't wait. I appreciate y'all, man,
- 44:32Speaker 1: and I'll see y'all next week
