- 1:05Speaker 1: Kirk Bulls, Tony Catalina our usual Friday guest with on
- 1:10Speaker 1: air Ryan That is on Friday's program. I mentioned earlier
- 1:17Speaker 1: Dallas Stars off to a nice little start. Two games
- 1:21Speaker 1: on the road. Division Rivals won, both scored a lot,
- 1:28Speaker 1: gave up a lot, and that may be the team
- 1:32Speaker 1: we're going to see this year. But I did read
- 1:34Speaker 1: today Glenn Gullittson he's going to he'll talk about this
- 1:37Speaker 1: maybe a little bit. He's trying to bring a new
- 1:41Speaker 1: physicality this team, which we talked about last spring when
- 1:45Speaker 1: the Stars just laid down when their guy got whacked
- 1:50Speaker 1: and nobody retaliated, and that was the end of the
- 1:52Speaker 1: series basically with Edmonton. And I don't think that's going
- 1:56Speaker 1: to happen anymore, nor should it. This is the National
- 2:02Speaker 1: freaking Hockey League. You don't get away with stuff like that.
- 2:08Speaker 1: And I think there's already been a couple of fights.
- 2:11Speaker 1: I think these guys a little spirited. He's asked him
- 2:14Speaker 1: to be that way. I like it. They hosted Minnesota Wild,
- 2:19Speaker 1: another division team, on home ice tonight. That's a late
- 2:25Speaker 1: start because it's an ESPN game at eight thirty. Here
- 2:28Speaker 1: is Glenn Gallats and Stars coach from earlier today.
- 2:32Speaker 5: Yeah, we do. Petro's coming in here tonight.
- 2:35Speaker 6: Bush's coming out and for no reason other than what
- 2:37Speaker 6: we talked about earlier in the season, just don't want
- 2:41Speaker 6: guys out too long.
- 2:43Speaker 5: We've seen you've seen Petro and I had that series
- 2:46Speaker 5: a couple of years. Now. What do you like about
- 2:48Speaker 5: him and his at the get in here?
- 2:50Speaker 6: Well, I think he's a well his path here is
- 2:55Speaker 6: a remarkable story. I mean remember seven years ago had
- 3:00Speaker 6: petrol U and then he's been been out of the
- 3:03Speaker 6: league and then back in and coming into the playoffs
- 3:05Speaker 6: and played tremendous hockey.
- 3:08Speaker 5: So it it's quite a story of resilience for me.
- 3:11Speaker 6: And then what a mentor he's been for young players
- 3:14Speaker 6: on that journey of his own right.
- 3:16Speaker 5: So good for him. A lot of respect, a lot
- 3:19Speaker 5: of respect.
- 3:20Speaker 6: I think a lot of our players in our room
- 3:21Speaker 6: have a ton of respect from the young guys, the
- 3:24Speaker 6: older players they know. So great story what he does
- 3:28Speaker 6: bring though, he's.
- 3:30Speaker 5: Got good puck game. You know, he's got hockey IQ.
- 3:32Speaker 6: He's got good puck game, and I think that compliments
- 3:35Speaker 6: Bish well to.
- 3:38Speaker 7: Bish had to fight last game of the preseason that
- 3:40Speaker 7: you mentioned that maybe the team didn't draw as much
- 3:42Speaker 7: energy out of it as.
- 3:43Speaker 5: You were hoping they would. Did you notice a better
- 3:45Speaker 5: response afterwards? Go, yeah, yeah, no, we were.
- 3:48Speaker 6: You know, we're scrapping for anything we could get here
- 3:50Speaker 6: in a in a barn like that that you know
- 3:54Speaker 6: it's hard to play in, and you know you're looking
- 3:57Speaker 6: for any pieces of energy that you can grab, and
- 3:59Speaker 6: it did give us a little energy, a little fight
- 4:01Speaker 6: back and uh, you know, you you you know what
- 4:04Speaker 6: it's about. We're trying to scrap all points every night,
- 4:06Speaker 6: no matter how you can get 'em.
- 4:09Speaker 5: Coach, you see in all.
- 4:10Speaker 1: These divisional games, all us and you can back in
- 4:12Speaker 1: three at the start of season.
- 4:13Speaker 5: And just put you right into you know, the the.
- 4:16Speaker 6: Way the playoffs right now, you have to do well.
- 4:20Speaker 5: In the division.
- 4:20Speaker 6: Yeah, right into the gauntlet, you know, right into the gauntlet.
- 4:24Speaker 6: And but you know what, if you want to be
- 4:25Speaker 6: the best, you gotta beat the best. And uh you
- 4:27Speaker 6: can't shy away from it. And we we we aren't.
- 4:30Speaker 6: Uh we're gonna you know, you're gonna go right through it.
- 4:33Speaker 6: But yeah, you you gotta that's how you get better
- 4:36Speaker 6: as playing the the top teams. So and that's how
- 4:40Speaker 6: you hone your own game.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Minnesota has seven Power White also the last two games.
- 4:46Speaker 5: Just you have to issue a reminder. I just play
- 4:48Speaker 5: against a team I think, oh we will.
- 4:50Speaker 6: Yeah, we saw the three last night, so you know
- 4:53Speaker 6: when they're on a roll, right and it's like anything else,
- 4:56Speaker 6: you get you get hot, you get hot.
- 4:57Speaker 5: So we've got good penalty killed.
- 5:00Speaker 6: But they've got some special players and you know, we
- 5:03Speaker 6: we we did watch we knew they got seven, so
- 5:07Speaker 6: I'm not quite sure on the exact numberdis at seven
- 5:09Speaker 6: for ten maybe they are something. They're they're running hot,
- 5:11Speaker 6: so we'll have to be prepared for that.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Good news is you've only taken two penalties, and bad
- 5:16Speaker 1: news as you haven't practiced.
- 5:17Speaker 8: The peka much.
- 5:18Speaker 6: Yeah, well we got some practice in Colorado, so and
- 5:23Speaker 6: and it held us in and and but it's gonna
- 5:26Speaker 6: have to be sharp tonight.
- 5:28Speaker 9: Somebody told you this time of year ago, and you
- 5:30Speaker 9: do the headhouts of the Downs Stars and going in
- 5:33Speaker 9: the regular season over there here in October, whatever it would.
- 5:35Speaker 5: You plead to Not a chance? No, no, honestly, not
- 5:39Speaker 5: a chance.
- 5:40Speaker 10: No.
- 5:40Speaker 11: Why is that?
- 5:42Speaker 5: Well, you know, to take a look at you asked
- 5:43Speaker 5: me to go back a year. A year.
- 5:45Speaker 6: You're pretty entrenched with what you're doing on the other
- 5:48Speaker 6: side of it, right, So.
- 5:51Speaker 5: Obviously they had been here before. And yeah, I would
- 5:54Speaker 5: never cross my mind.
- 5:55Speaker 6: I knew I had a daughter coming here, but that
- 5:57Speaker 6: was about the only connection I had to I'm back here.
- 6:00Speaker 6: But now this has been fantastic. It's been uh, it's
- 6:04Speaker 6: been hey, it's been honestly a little bit of a
- 6:06Speaker 6: dream come true.
- 6:07Speaker 5: It's been great.
- 6:07Speaker 6: It never thought about it, but now that I'm here,
- 6:11Speaker 6: I'm certainly grateful that I'm here.
- 6:13Speaker 5: What's the best part of Hold for you fans? Yeah, yeah, Bruce.
- 6:18Speaker 6: The fans like the excitement in the building and the
- 6:21Speaker 6: build up and the talk, and you can see.
- 6:23Speaker 5: The players and the focus.
- 6:24Speaker 6: And I guess when I say the fans, you know
- 6:26Speaker 6: it's it's exciting, but they bring me it's the energy,
- 6:29Speaker 6: and everyone knows what energy is coming.
- 6:31Speaker 5: So there's some energy in here this morning.
- 6:33Speaker 6: There's some some lightness, there's some liveliness. So you can
- 6:36Speaker 6: see it on the ice today.
- 6:39Speaker 5: You know it's good energy.
- 6:40Speaker 6: Now, from a coach's point part, you want to harness
- 6:44Speaker 6: that energy too, right, you want to channel it, make
- 6:46Speaker 6: sure it's going in the right places.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Glenn Gullets and the building will be lit tonight because
- 6:53Speaker 1: it's an eight thirty game. The fans have a long
- 6:57Speaker 1: time waiting for that puck to drop this evening, and
- 7:04Speaker 1: so we'll see what happens. Should be fun home opener,
- 7:07Speaker 1: A long way to goo long season. Oh my gosh,
- 7:11Speaker 1: what these guys put their bodies through. I can't imagine
- 7:19Speaker 1: the world's toughest athletes, the world's toughest athletes. Don't even
- 7:26Speaker 1: try to make an argument for another sport. It's not
- 7:30Speaker 1: close these guys. I tell people they play three NFL
- 7:34Speaker 1: football games per week. Okay, that's the equivalent. They play
- 7:39Speaker 1: three NFL football games a week if they're really lucky,
- 7:43Speaker 1: sometimes just two a week. But that's how difficult it is.
- 7:52Speaker 1: On three Sports is reporting that Notre Dame coach Marcus
- 7:58Speaker 1: Freeman may be a top candidate to replace James Franklin
- 8:05Speaker 1: at Penn State. Pete Nakos also says athletic director Patrick
- 8:13Speaker 1: Kraft is at least going to call Ryan Day and
- 8:16Speaker 1: Caitlin de boor why wouldn't you? Dan Lanning would be
- 8:21Speaker 1: another one this last Saturday. Notwithstanding he would be another one.
- 8:26Speaker 1: But be interesting, there's not everybody wants the coach is
- 8:35Speaker 1: going to take him to promise led Most people don't
- 8:39Speaker 1: know who that coach is. Yet most people think they know,
- 8:44Speaker 1: and then he's not and they would never hire this person,
- 8:49Speaker 1: And then they're going, wait, why didn't we hire him?
- 8:54Speaker 1: The Earl Campbell, Tyler Rose Award Player of the Week,
- 8:58Speaker 1: Cameron Dickie, He's been really good for Texas Tech rushed
- 9:01Speaker 1: for two hundred and sixty three yards against Kansas. That
- 9:05Speaker 1: was the most by Texas tech runner since Byron hands
- 9:10Speaker 1: Part set the record in nineteen ninety six with two
- 9:13Speaker 1: hundred and eighty seven yards. Dickie went to Austin Crockett
- 9:17Speaker 1: High School and he's been very good. Let's see Jarret Gibson,
- 9:24Speaker 1: the running back from Texas highly regarded, is leaving. He
- 9:30Speaker 1: played in the Cotton Bowl. Well, he carried the ball
- 9:33Speaker 1: one time for minus three yards on Saturday against Oklahoma.
- 9:38Speaker 1: He got a lot more touches a year ago, not
- 9:40Speaker 1: as many this year. He is going to leave and
- 9:45Speaker 1: preserve his red shirt for the next stop. And we'll
- 9:54Speaker 1: ask Kirk about CJ. Baxter if he's intting closer to
- 9:58Speaker 1: returning gets a hamstring that has lingered for him. Dodgers
- 10:03Speaker 1: Brewers Game two in LCS tonight wild when last night
- 10:09Speaker 1: Blake Snell was amazing. I think it was one hit
- 10:13Speaker 1: in eight innings. I think that's right. I mean two
- 10:17Speaker 1: to one Dodgers and Otani hadn't hit yet. Dodgers are
- 10:22Speaker 1: up one game to nothing one last night low scoring.
- 10:26Speaker 1: A lot of these playoff games have been low scoring.
- 10:29Speaker 1: And then the way the American league starts yesterday. Mariners
- 10:34Speaker 1: get three in the first and the crowd's going, what
- 10:37Speaker 1: is going on? Then the Blue Jays come back and
- 10:39Speaker 1: get three, and you're going, okay, this is kind of
- 10:42Speaker 1: what we expect from this series. Lots of ten to nines.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Only that was it for the Blue Jays. The Mariners,
- 10:53Speaker 1: that wasn't it. They keep jacking the ball. I mean,
- 10:58Speaker 1: they keep pounding the ball. They are off tonight. They
- 11:04Speaker 1: are at Seattle tomorrow for Game three. Seattle is up
- 11:11Speaker 1: two zero. The Mariners, by the way, for the season
- 11:17Speaker 1: in the regular season, fifty one and thirty at home,
- 11:22Speaker 1: a terrific home record. The Blue Jays were right at
- 11:26Speaker 1: five hundred on the road, so it's not terrible. But
- 11:31Speaker 1: man at home, the Mariners have been good that they
- 11:34Speaker 1: made themselves at home for those two games. And again
- 11:46Speaker 1: I told you the first. If you haven't seen it,
- 11:48Speaker 1: Caleb just pulled it up. The crazy double play from
- 11:52Speaker 1: last night. You'll never see a wilder play that what
- 11:56Speaker 1: you saw last night. You'll never see a Walder play
- 12:00Speaker 1: in which the team that hit the ball up against
- 12:02Speaker 1: the wall and almost over the wall not only didn't
- 12:06Speaker 1: score a run but got doubled off at home with
- 12:14Speaker 1: a throw home once the runner decided, hey, he didn't
- 12:19Speaker 1: catch the ball, and then the catcher just trots down
- 12:23Speaker 1: to third base with an unassisted third out. If you're
- 12:27Speaker 1: scoring at home, and I don't know why you'd be
- 12:30Speaker 1: scoring at home, but it goes eight to six to
- 12:34Speaker 1: two double play. And you thought this play is going
- 12:41Speaker 1: to change the entire series, right, I mean, that's the
- 12:45Speaker 1: play in a low scoring game. It's going to change
- 12:50Speaker 1: everything in that Dodgers Brewers game. But you're only as
- 12:58Speaker 1: good as your next days pitcher and your opponent is
- 13:03Speaker 1: only as good as their next day's pitcher. And I've
- 13:07Speaker 1: talked about this. I'm not crazy about these starters only
- 13:14Speaker 1: going four to five innings. It's like, that's all. They
- 13:16Speaker 1: can go four to five innings, and you just start
- 13:19Speaker 1: running guys out of the bullpen, you know, five guys
- 13:21Speaker 1: at a time every game. They all throw one hundred
- 13:27Speaker 1: hard to score, hard to get rhythm. I'm not crazy
- 13:33Speaker 1: about that. Now. Again, hadn't been hard for Seattle to score,
- 13:40Speaker 1: and it hadn't been hard for Toronto to score all
- 13:42Speaker 1: year long. But maybe getting out of town will help them,
- 13:50Speaker 1: I hope. Not not a fan, not a big Mariners
- 13:53Speaker 1: fan either. But I'm less a Blue Jays fan than
- 13:57Speaker 1: I am a Mariners fan. I don't have any skin
- 14:01Speaker 1: in this game, you know, not a Dodgers fan, not
- 14:04Speaker 1: a Brewers fan. Dave Roberts has been great. Of course,
- 14:12Speaker 1: everybody says, Look, of course he's great. They have a payroll,
- 14:15Speaker 1: it's about seven billion dollars a year, they have the
- 14:18Speaker 1: best player in baseball. They need something, they buy it.
- 14:22Speaker 8: Well.
- 14:22Speaker 1: True, It's been true of several teams for a long time.
- 14:26Speaker 1: See the Yankees, see the Mets, see other teams that
- 14:30Speaker 1: have that have tried to do that. It takes more
- 14:32Speaker 1: than this, you know, than just that. You got to
- 14:37Speaker 1: manage these guys. And again that's what would show hey
- 14:40Speaker 1: not not hitting. I think he's four for twenty nine
- 14:44Speaker 1: so far. Did I see did he pitch? He came
- 14:48Speaker 1: out in relief right one of those games and through Caleb,
- 14:52Speaker 1: would you I'm pretty sure he pitched in relief for
- 14:54Speaker 1: one of those games. Show Aatani and it wasn't like
- 15:01Speaker 1: I don't think it was last night. I think it
- 15:04Speaker 1: was maybe the series before. I thought maybe he came. No,
- 15:14Speaker 1: he hadn't pitched yet.
- 15:16Speaker 7: The only posts in games pitching was when he started
- 15:19Speaker 7: against the Phillies.
- 15:20Speaker 1: Okay, he did start against Phillies, so they did not
- 15:22Speaker 1: bring him out of a bullpen. Okay, Now I haven't
- 15:25Speaker 1: seen anything about this. You know whether he is going
- 15:29Speaker 1: to start a game in the NLCCS or not. Ten
- 15:35Speaker 1: days So he said, plenty of rest. All right, this
- 15:37Speaker 1: is gonna be fun. We're gonna jump out to the
- 15:40Speaker 1: Players Fund Centers zoom line right now and visit with
- 15:45Speaker 1: author David Fleming. His book is called A Big Mess
- 15:50Speaker 1: in Texas, The Incredible True Story of the Dallas Texans. David,
- 15:55Speaker 1: how you doing?
- 15:56Speaker 11: I'm good, Chip, how you doing?
- 15:58Speaker 1: Look? I grew up in Dallas. I was watching the
- 16:02Speaker 1: AFL Texans and the Cotton Bowl about ten years after
- 16:06Speaker 1: this story was written. Yeah, I gotta say I never
- 16:09Speaker 1: knew one thing about it. I didn't know Dallas had
- 16:12Speaker 1: an NFL team before the Cowboys got to town.
- 16:17Speaker 11: Me neither. So I mean we're in the same boat.
- 16:20Speaker 1: How did this story come to your attention?
- 16:23Speaker 11: Okay?
- 16:24Speaker 7: So I have diehard Cleveland Browns fans in my family.
- 16:30Speaker 11: And do you remember when.
- 16:32Speaker 7: I think it was like twenty seventeen, the Browns went
- 16:34Speaker 7: oh and sixteen okay, and I think as maybe trying
- 16:38Speaker 7: to like ease their pain. I started researching. I'm like,
- 16:43Speaker 7: are are the twenty seventeen Browns truly the worst team?
- 16:47Speaker 7: The worst franchise in NFL history? And up pops some
- 16:51Speaker 7: of the details about the nineteen fifty two Dallas Texans
- 16:55Speaker 7: and what a crazy, sort of like dumpster fire season was.
- 17:01Speaker 7: And as somebody who lives for these kind of weird, strange,
- 17:07Speaker 7: stranger than fiction stories in sports, I knew immediately that
- 17:12Speaker 7: I had stumbled onto maybe one of the all time
- 17:15Speaker 7: great untold stories.
- 17:17Speaker 11: And as you started.
- 17:18Speaker 7: Peeling back the layers, it was like, first of all,
- 17:21Speaker 7: I can't believe this team ever existed, But then the characters,
- 17:24Speaker 7: right the owner, Oh my god, And then the fact
- 17:27Speaker 7: that they had Art Donovan and Gino Marquetti and all
- 17:30Speaker 7: these great characters.
- 17:32Speaker 11: I just the first thing I did was pray that
- 17:36Speaker 11: no one else.
- 17:36Speaker 7: Had written a book about this story, and so I
- 17:39Speaker 7: was super lucky that no one had.
- 17:41Speaker 1: How would you describe the state of the NFL in
- 17:43Speaker 1: nineteen fifty two?
- 17:46Speaker 11: Oh, in my mind, it was it was it was.
- 17:49Speaker 7: I love the old Wild West era of the NFL
- 17:53Speaker 7: in the nineteen fifties before the TV money takes over
- 17:57Speaker 7: and turns the NFL into a business. This was so
- 18:00Speaker 7: much fun. It was violent, it was colorful. The players
- 18:04Speaker 7: were basically doing this as a second job.
- 18:07Speaker 11: It was to me, I wish I can't get enough
- 18:11Speaker 11: of this era of football.
- 18:12Speaker 7: It was everything I love about the game, and I
- 18:17Speaker 7: wish the NFL sort of honored this era instead of
- 18:20Speaker 7: tried to sweep it under the rug.
- 18:22Speaker 1: How would you describe Giles Miller to people who haven't
- 18:27Speaker 1: heard of him?
- 18:29Speaker 7: Oh Man, it's like a cross between Jerry Jones and Willie.
- 18:34Speaker 11: Lohman from Death of a Salesman.
- 18:38Speaker 1: It's like.
- 18:40Speaker 7: He again to have a character like that at the
- 18:43Speaker 7: center of the story. He just spans the whole spectrum.
- 18:47Speaker 7: It's like you're rooting for him, and he was really
- 18:50Speaker 7: brave and progressive and aggressive and charming, but at the
- 18:56Speaker 7: same time, he just couldn't get out of his own way.
- 18:59Speaker 7: He just it was just failure after failure after failure,
- 19:02Speaker 7: and him trying to become the original owner of America's
- 19:06Speaker 7: team essentially bankrupted his family and ruined his life. So
- 19:12Speaker 7: he starts out as this great character and then he
- 19:16Speaker 7: becomes tragic in the end.
- 19:18Speaker 1: The bottom line is there weren't any teams in the
- 19:21Speaker 1: NFL making money at that time, right, And everybody said,
- 19:25Speaker 1: you do not want to invest in the NFL.
- 19:30Speaker 7: Yes, and thank you. I should have mentioned that earlier
- 19:32Speaker 7: when you mentioned a chip. I mean the thing about
- 19:34Speaker 7: the NFL that people forget because it's makes so much
- 19:37Speaker 7: money and is so huge now that thirty one of
- 19:40Speaker 7: the first forty three NFL franchises went bankrupt, and in
- 19:45Speaker 7: the nineteen fifties, before the TV money kicked in in
- 19:48Speaker 7: the late fifties, the NFL was a fledgling, chaotic mess
- 19:54Speaker 7: that was constantly on the verge of going under completely.
- 19:58Speaker 7: And yes, Giles Miller, he was a dreamer and God
- 20:03Speaker 7: love him, but the NFL at the time in nineteen
- 20:06Speaker 7: fifty two was maybe the worst investment anybody could make.
- 20:11Speaker 1: And true to form, Giles Miller started and his dad,
- 20:16Speaker 1: who was financing everything, started blading money from day one,
- 20:20Speaker 1: didn't they Oh.
- 20:21Speaker 7: Yeah, they ended up having I think they realized right away,
- 20:26Speaker 7: especially when they couldn't get fans and that was really
- 20:28Speaker 7: the only revenue.
- 20:29Speaker 1: That's the problem.
- 20:30Speaker 7: Yes, And it's like, if that's your only revenue stream,
- 20:33Speaker 7: I think they knew immediately in like week two that
- 20:35Speaker 7: they were bringing in half the money that they actually needed.
- 20:39Speaker 7: And poor Giles Miller is trying everything, right, He's trying.
- 20:43Speaker 7: He's like, let's bring the game ball in by helicopter,
- 20:46Speaker 7: Let's give away tickets, let's let's have the players wear
- 20:49Speaker 7: cowboy hats out in the streets. He tried everything. It
- 20:53Speaker 7: was like Barnum and Bailey, and he just couldn't get
- 20:56Speaker 7: people to show up and support pro football in Dalla,
- 21:00Speaker 7: which sounds insane, but yeah, by literally by like week
- 21:05Speaker 7: six or seven, they were out of money and out
- 21:10Speaker 7: of and out of out of schemes.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Part of the story is not real comical. They had three,
- 21:17Speaker 1: i believe at the time, three black players on the squad, correct,
- 21:21Speaker 1: and there was no one in Dallas that wanted those
- 21:24Speaker 1: players on the field.
- 21:26Speaker 7: Yeah, and I'm glad you brought that up, because there
- 21:28Speaker 7: is a really sort of important historical thing that always
- 21:31Speaker 7: gets kind of whitewashed, so to speak, in the retelling
- 21:34Speaker 7: of this of this franchise. And it's a shame because
- 21:38Speaker 7: the Dallas Texans and Buddy Young and George Telfarrow, who
- 21:42Speaker 7: were their black players, they deserve a lot of credit
- 21:45Speaker 7: for integrating Texas sports fifteen years Yeah before the Texas
- 21:50Speaker 7: Longhorns did it, and they really truly were pioneers. It's
- 21:55Speaker 7: why people call Buddy Young and George Telfarrow the Jackie
- 21:59Speaker 7: Robbinson of the NFL, and that part of the story
- 22:02Speaker 7: gets overlooked. That essentially a big reason why Dallas wouldn't
- 22:07Speaker 7: come to the Cotton Bowl is because in the Jim
- 22:10Speaker 7: Crow South, Dallas was not ready to support a team
- 22:14Speaker 7: with an integrated roster.
- 22:16Speaker 11: And it's too bad, because I think.
- 22:18Speaker 7: You know, I hope maybe if this book accomplishes anything,
- 22:22Speaker 7: at least it will get Buddy Young, George tel Farrow,
- 22:25Speaker 7: and Giles Miller the owner, the credit and the honor
- 22:28Speaker 7: they deserve for really really helping to sort of like
- 22:32Speaker 7: destroy Jim Crow in the South.
- 22:34Speaker 1: Isn't it true that people kept showing up at their
- 22:37Speaker 1: offices in Dallas looking for a Mexican restaurant?
- 22:40Speaker 11: Yes, oh my god.
- 22:41Speaker 7: Okay, so Chip, you get this book, because that is
- 22:44Speaker 7: they the Texans, in their infinite wisdom, they bought out
- 22:49Speaker 7: a Mexican restaurant as their headquarters.
- 22:51Speaker 11: But they were too cheap, and they didn't change.
- 22:54Speaker 7: The signage or the telephone number, and so their coach,
- 22:58Speaker 7: their GM would constantly have to be taking phone calls
- 23:02Speaker 7: about what the dinner specials were and was there dancing
- 23:06Speaker 7: or you know, was there going to be a band there?
- 23:09Speaker 7: And the coach became so frustrated by this he would
- 23:12Speaker 7: just make up dinner specials and tell people, Yeah, come
- 23:16Speaker 7: on down, it's burritos and black beans tonight.
- 23:19Speaker 11: We can't wait to see you.
- 23:21Speaker 1: How do you describe Bert Bell, the commissioner of the NFL.
- 23:26Speaker 11: Oh, my god, like a.
- 23:29Speaker 7: Like the old penguin in the Batman series, right, but
- 23:35Speaker 7: also again another person who has not been given his
- 23:38Speaker 7: due right. He really saved He kept the NFL alive
- 23:43Speaker 7: in the nineteen fifties when it could have gone under
- 23:45Speaker 7: at any moment.
- 23:46Speaker 11: And he was a force of nature.
- 23:49Speaker 7: And part of that force of nature I think was
- 23:51Speaker 7: convincing Giles Miller to blow his family fortune on the NFL.
- 23:57Speaker 11: And luckily Burt Bell never looked back.
- 24:00Speaker 7: But man, he deserves way more credit than he gets.
- 24:03Speaker 1: Hey used some colorful language on the telephone every time
- 24:06Speaker 1: he got Jiles Miller on the phone, did he not yes?
- 24:10Speaker 7: And he had this booming voice that I'll tell you
- 24:14Speaker 7: a quick story. Bert Well, when he converted converted to Catholicism,
- 24:19Speaker 7: he went in to take his confession for the first time,
- 24:23Speaker 7: and by the time he came out, because his voice
- 24:25Speaker 7: was so loud and.
- 24:26Speaker 11: So booming and so overwhelming.
- 24:30Speaker 7: He came out and his family was like, Bert, the
- 24:33Speaker 7: whole church knows exactly what every last sin you committed
- 24:37Speaker 7: was because your voice is so loud. But Giles Miller
- 24:41Speaker 7: used to joke that he was like, Bert, if you
- 24:44Speaker 7: want to save the league long distance charges, just open
- 24:48Speaker 7: your window and yell at me from Philadelphia.
- 24:51Speaker 11: I'll hear you.
- 24:53Speaker 1: The book is called A Big Mess in Texas, the Miraculous,

- 29:48Speaker 1: It's grammatically incorrect to say most unique, but all the
- 29:53Speaker 1: rules of grammar and I guess anything else are suspended
- 29:56Speaker 1: when talking about Diane Keaton. Unlike anyone the planet has
- 29:59Speaker 1: a experienced or is unlikely to ever see again, her
- 30:03Speaker 1: face and laugh illuminated any space she entered. Of course,
- 30:11Speaker 1: she won an oscar with Woody's Annie Hall, first spotted
- 30:19Speaker 1: by Woody Allen when she was auditioning for a stage
- 30:25Speaker 1: play Played against Sam, which of course Woody made into
- 30:28Speaker 1: a movie. At a later part sat through Take the
- 30:32Speaker 1: Money and Run Really like that movie? That was very funny.
- 30:38Speaker 1: She was multi talented for sure. Yeah, I liked her,
- 30:43Speaker 1: and you're right, a unique character. So seventy nine, it's
- 30:50Speaker 1: pretty young.
- 30:52Speaker 10: And from what I've read too, it was kind of
- 30:56Speaker 10: not like she's had some help she's apparently it was
- 31:00Speaker 10: a little more unexpected.
- 31:02Speaker 1: Yeah, I hadn't. I was out all weekend, so I
- 31:05Speaker 1: didn't really get to read much about it.
- 31:07Speaker 10: But yeah, there you It made me sad to see her.
- 31:10Speaker 10: She was one of my favorite.
- 31:11Speaker 11: Yep.
- 31:13Speaker 10: Well, not not to switch gears completely, but let's talk
- 31:18Speaker 10: about Taylor Swift. You know, get people's minds.
- 31:21Speaker 1: That's happy, that's your mind right?
- 31:23Speaker 10: For months, Chip, and I know you've been paying really
- 31:26Speaker 10: close attention to the Easter eggs. Of course, there have
- 31:31Speaker 10: been two exit signs trailed by Taylor Swift in Bookshelves
- 31:35Speaker 10: behind her in Jimmy Fallon's interview and her Fate of
- 31:38Speaker 10: Aphilia music video in the final shot of Good Morning
- 31:42Speaker 10: American teaser and fans Finally Know what they mean? A
- 31:45Speaker 10: six episode series and concert film on her record breaking
- 31:49Speaker 10: eras tour or on the Way?
- 31:51Speaker 1: What did she? What did she just do? Like two
- 31:54Speaker 1: weeks ago that my grandkids went to some movie?
- 31:59Speaker 10: Was it the that was the premiere. That was the
- 32:01Speaker 10: premiere of the music video, The Fate of Aphilia Affilia. Okay, yeah,
- 32:06Speaker 10: I think it had to have been more than that
- 32:08Speaker 10: because the music video it was like three minutes long.
- 32:11Speaker 10: So they feel a little crazy if they made people
- 32:13Speaker 10: buy movie tickets for three yeah. Yeah, So I'm not
- 32:18Speaker 10: sure exactly what all happened in that. I'm sure there
- 32:20Speaker 10: was behind the scenes stuff and who knows what else.
- 32:23Speaker 10: But anyways, with that all being said, she did announce
- 32:29Speaker 10: the news and a trailer on Good Morning America on
- 32:31Speaker 10: October thirteenth, Her Favorite number. The ninety nine second clip
- 32:34Speaker 10: shows swifts Tour Behind our Life behind the scenes from
- 32:37Speaker 10: her in a hotel room following a show to cheering
- 32:40Speaker 10: on the Kansas City Chiefs with her parents and publicists.
- 32:43Speaker 10: The first two episodes, so chip mark your calendar, I
- 32:46Speaker 10: know you're dying to see this, and the final Tour
- 32:50Speaker 10: concert movie will be released on December twelfth. The next
- 32:53Speaker 10: two episodes will be out on December nineteenth, and then
- 32:56Speaker 10: the last two episodes of Drop on the twenty six.
- 33:02Speaker 1: So six six times what ten twelve bucks, seventy two bucks?
- 33:08Speaker 10: Well, I mean it's on Disney plus but not.
- 33:11Speaker 1: All of us have Disney. Plus not all of us
- 33:13Speaker 1: like Disney.
- 33:14Speaker 10: So that's true. Well, sorry, I have a young child.
- 33:18Speaker 1: So I understand.
- 33:19Speaker 10: You know I live on Disney. Plus there is home video,
- 33:24Speaker 10: so the final two thirds of the trailer have a
- 33:26Speaker 10: couple of notable moments, including Kelsey carrying her on June
- 33:30Speaker 10: twenty third, two thousand and four inside Wimbley Stadium. There's
- 33:34Speaker 10: also a home video of Swift's grandmother, Mordriy Finlay I Think,
- 33:39Speaker 10: playing piano with her sixteenth month old Swift sitting on
- 33:43Speaker 10: her legs. Swift sang a performance dedicated to her late grandmother.
- 33:46Speaker 16: Who's apparently has an opera voice, which is amazing, and
- 33:50Speaker 16: it is part of the production. Every night of the Aerostour,
- 33:54Speaker 16: fans would typically hold up their phones flashlights during the
- 33:57Speaker 16: Evermore track.
- 33:59Speaker 10: But There's more, Wait, there's more. Taylor Swift is thinking
- 34:04Speaker 10: fans for the Lovely Bouquet. After breaking another record, this
- 34:09Speaker 10: time with the Life of a Showgirl. The album is
- 34:12Speaker 10: officially her fifteenth time, snagging the number one spot on
- 34:16Speaker 10: the Billboard two hundred Albums chart. Billboard did report on
- 34:20Speaker 10: Monday the thirteenth, the Swift's latest album which was released
- 34:23Speaker 10: on the third, debut at four point zero zero zero
- 34:28Speaker 10: two million equivalent album units, which includes pure album sales
- 34:33Speaker 10: and streaming activity earned in the US in the week's
- 34:38Speaker 10: I guess ending on October ninth, I have four million
- 34:41Speaker 10: thank yous I want to send to fans, and four
- 34:43Speaker 10: million reasons to even feel more proud of this album
- 34:46Speaker 10: than I already was, Taylor Swift said in an Instagram
- 34:49Speaker 10: post on the thirteenth. Thank you for going out to
- 34:51Speaker 10: celebrate this project in the movie theaters, investing in vinyls, streaming,
- 34:55Speaker 10: watching the video, buying CDs, reading the poems I wrote
- 34:59Speaker 10: inside the package in Immersing Yourself in the Life of
- 35:02Speaker 10: a show Girl. I'll cherish this feeling forever. I'll cherish
- 35:05Speaker 10: this feeling forever.
- 35:06Speaker 1: Just wow, Taylor, that was a nice That was a
- 35:11Speaker 1: really nice note from her publicsh thank you.
- 35:14Speaker 10: For keeping me a millionaire or a billionaire.
- 35:17Speaker 1: Very very well written by her people.
- 35:22Speaker 10: Maybe I don't know, she's kind of I mean this
- 35:25Speaker 10: in the nicest way, but she does kind of seem
- 35:27Speaker 10: like a little bit of a control freak, So I
- 35:28Speaker 10: don't know.
- 35:30Speaker 1: She might be doing her own work wells proved, she's
- 35:36Speaker 1: proved yes, but yeah.
- 35:39Speaker 10: This might have been like the fifth or sixth version
- 35:42Speaker 10: she wrote, but she has by the publicist.
- 35:48Speaker 1: Yeh final. It seems like Alec Baldwin is always in
- 35:54Speaker 1: the middle of a lot.
- 35:55Speaker 5: Of stuff, Yeah, isn't he.
- 35:58Speaker 1: This time he wrecked his brother Stevens suv smashed up
- 36:05Speaker 1: the range Rover. Actually it belonged to Hilaria, his wife.
- 36:11Speaker 1: The Baldwin's car smashed into a tree in East Hampton yesterday.
- 36:18Speaker 1: Alick like you do went to Instagram to describe the
- 36:24Speaker 1: incident in detail. This morning, he said, I was in
- 36:28Speaker 1: a car accident. A guy cut me off in a truck.
- 36:32Speaker 1: Remember when he shot that girl dead, and it wasn't
- 36:34Speaker 1: his fault. Now crashed into a tree and it's not
- 36:39Speaker 1: his fault. A guy cut me off in a truck,
- 36:42Speaker 1: A big garbage truck the size of a whale. Well
- 36:46Speaker 1: that sounds a little much to avoid hitting him, I
- 36:54Speaker 1: hit a tree, a big fat tree. It crushed my
- 36:59Speaker 1: wife's car. I feel bad about that. It's all fine.
- 37:04Speaker 1: I'm fine. My brother's fine. Stephen was in town because
- 37:10Speaker 1: the brothers had gone to the Hampton's International Film Festival
- 37:15Speaker 1: over the weekend. I missed that one Alec went on
- 37:21Speaker 1: to thank the East Hampton Town Police Department for quote
- 37:26Speaker 1: coming to my aid and giving a shout out to
- 37:30Speaker 1: Officer Gerkin as a lovely guy. No one has commented
- 37:38Speaker 1: on the wreck yet and whose fault it may or
- 37:43Speaker 1: may not be. I'm picking out just a wild shot.
- 37:50Speaker 1: I'm just taking a wild shot. Know nothing about it.
- 37:55Speaker 1: I'm going to say it was his fault.
- 37:58Speaker 10: Man, she's having a rough hilaria.
- 38:01Speaker 1: Yes at the start, Yeah, who got booted last night?
- 38:07Speaker 1: I don't have the list.
- 38:09Speaker 10: Well, no, it's tonight, we'll have it tomorrow.
- 38:12Speaker 1: We'll have it tomorrow.
- 38:13Speaker 10: Okay, yes, that's the plan.
- 38:15Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, it's always the plan. I'm kind of looking
- 38:19Speaker 1: forward to this. Netflix is doing a documentary on Eddie Murphy.
- 38:26Speaker 1: Being Eddie comes out November twelfth, chronicles his nearly fifty
- 38:31Speaker 1: year career, his start on Saturday Night Live to hit
- 38:36Speaker 1: movies like Beverly Hills, Cop and Shrek. Many of his
- 38:40Speaker 1: famous friends are interviewed. The film takes the audience inside
- 38:48Speaker 1: Murphy's home for candid conversations. Director Angus Wall tells USA Today,
- 38:56Speaker 1: Eddie somebody he feels he's known who he is from
- 38:59Speaker 1: the big He's been on a path of destiny since
- 39:02Speaker 1: he was a kid. He's an artist where he can
- 39:06Speaker 1: express himself through many different ways, not just through comedy
- 39:09Speaker 1: or acting, but through music, all these different things. He's
- 39:13Speaker 1: got an incredibly flexible mind and spirit. I think that's
- 39:17Speaker 1: what a lot of people say about me, an incredibly
- 39:21Speaker 1: flexible mind. His openness was really refreshing and kind of surprising.
- 39:29Speaker 1: Wall started working on the movie in twenty nineteen and
- 39:34Speaker 1: was given unprecedented access behind the scenes. We filmed in
- 39:39Speaker 1: Lauren Michael's office, which nobody's ever done or may never
- 39:44Speaker 1: do again. Wall found Murphy to be insightful, hihilarious, and spiritual.
- 39:52Speaker 1: He jokes about that in the movie, says Wall, but
- 39:54Speaker 1: he's had something that's guided him through his whole career.
- 39:58Speaker 1: A number of familiar faces talk about Eddie Jerry Seinfeld,
- 40:05Speaker 1: Jamie Fox, Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, Keenan Thompson, Tracy Morgan.
- 40:13Speaker 1: While they all have a reverence for the sixty four
- 40:17Speaker 1: year old star, he's so easy with them and there's
- 40:20Speaker 1: a deep kinship you can feel. So I'm looking forward
- 40:27Speaker 1: to this, you know, Eddie. I mean, he's been a
- 40:32Speaker 1: little bit in the public eye, you know, but he
- 40:35Speaker 1: hasn't been a lot in the public eye.
- 40:38Speaker 10: Yeah, he definitely doesn't. We were always pleasantly surprised when
- 40:43Speaker 10: he comes around.
- 40:43Speaker 1: Exactly. He's not Taylor Swift, let's put it that way,
- 40:49Speaker 1: oh goodness, or Alec or Alan thank goodness?
- 40:57Speaker 10: Who else? Kidding?
- 40:59Speaker 1: Let me let me just stop here, Let me just
- 41:01Speaker 1: stop here and say, Alec best up. It would be
- 41:07Speaker 1: the first time you ever did, but it would might
- 41:10Speaker 1: do you some good. There I said it.
- 41:14Speaker 10: Yeah, but you know he's going to take care of
- 41:17Speaker 10: all those children.
- 41:18Speaker 1: He's lawyering up.
- 41:21Speaker 10: Yeah. Well, AnyWho, let's move on to the other side
- 41:25Speaker 10: of the pond. Kate Kate Middleton, Prince and Prince William
- 41:31Speaker 10: are stepping out in Northern Ireland for a surprise trip.
- 41:34Speaker 10: I wish I could step out in Northern Ireland. You know,
- 41:39Speaker 10: there's a good chance. Let's find out. Okay, they arrived
- 41:42Speaker 10: in the nation today for an unannouncement. You imagine, not knowing.
- 41:49Speaker 1: Oh no, no, no, no, everyone knew. But the people, the.
- 41:53Speaker 10: Public, well, they're they're there to spend the day with
- 41:56Speaker 10: local people, visiting some of the innovative and growth creating
- 42:00Speaker 10: organizations in the area, seeing where investment is made in
- 42:04Speaker 10: rural areas and highlighting and entrepreneural Oh my gosh, I
- 42:09Speaker 10: can't believe I got that right, and creative opportunities for
- 42:12Speaker 10: young people. So Prince William and Princess Kate's first off
- 42:16Speaker 10: of the day was in Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Services,
- 42:19Speaker 10: a new learning and developmental college in Cookstown. The college
- 42:24Speaker 10: opened in May. This could have been there.
- 42:28Speaker 1: We're not going to help with their walk about there
- 42:31Speaker 1: you go.
- 42:32Speaker 10: I don't know, but it is the largest investment ever
- 42:35Speaker 10: undertaken by the Northern Ireland. We're going to call them
- 42:39Speaker 10: n I R F R f r S. That was
- 42:42Speaker 10: more complicated than just saying, and is a trade a
- 42:46Speaker 10: training center for its employees, offering the chance for the
- 42:50Speaker 10: next generation of firefighters of Northern Ireland to train. The
- 42:54Speaker 10: facilities include a floodwater rescue simulator that sounds horrifying but
- 42:59Speaker 10: it is. Yes, it's important, one of only two in
- 43:03Speaker 10: the world at a fire service training facility, a replicated village,
- 43:08Speaker 10: a training warehouse, a tactical fire fighting facility and a
- 43:12Speaker 10: barn and.
- 43:13Speaker 1: Slurry people slurry pit.
- 43:16Speaker 10: No, this all sounds awful, but good for training so
- 43:19Speaker 10: that's good for them to know.
- 43:21Speaker 1: I'm surprised. I'm surprised that William and Kate didn't try
- 43:24Speaker 1: out the slurry pit.
- 43:27Speaker 10: William didn't just the row Princess Kate into the slurry
- 43:29Speaker 10: pit to see how good the training was going. Can't
- 43:34Speaker 10: you imagine? Oh man, they didn't need a fire chief
- 43:39Speaker 10: of Fire and Rescue Officer Aiden Jennings and learned how
- 43:43Speaker 10: the college equips the trainees with the necessary skills. The
- 43:47Speaker 10: royal couple also took part in a few training scenarios wondrel.
- 43:51Speaker 10: Prince William and Princess Kate were each task with throwing
- 43:54Speaker 10: a float to a casualty played by the instructor from
- 44:00Speaker 10: the side of the of the fast flowing river simulator. However,
- 44:05Speaker 10: neither was able to reach the person with their so.
- 44:08Speaker 1: They drowned in effect.
- 44:09Speaker 10: So count on them for a walk about, not to
- 44:12Speaker 10: actually help.
- 44:13Speaker 1: Yes, yes, I don't want them helping me in a flood.
- 44:18Speaker 1: Let's just put it out a.
- 44:19Speaker 10: Little sails, you know.
- 44:22Speaker 1: All you see I haven't seen I haven't I haven't
- 44:25Speaker 1: seen the video. But my guess is Prince William throws
- 44:29Speaker 1: like a girl. My guess is Cape Middleton also throws
- 44:34Speaker 1: like a girl. And there's a reason they couldn't get
- 44:37Speaker 1: floats to the drowning people. I bet they didn't get
- 44:41Speaker 1: them halfway there.
- 44:43Speaker 10: They just you know, I don't I don't even know
- 44:44Speaker 10: how you're supposed to throw a float. I've never been
- 44:47Speaker 10: tasked with knowing that knowledge. But I figure it'd be
- 44:50Speaker 10: like a not a frisbee method.
- 44:52Speaker 1: But I mean, there there is a certain light. I'm
- 44:56Speaker 1: sure they were told how to do it, and they have.
- 45:00Speaker 1: I had neither the strength nor the ability to get
- 45:04Speaker 1: the float to the drowning person.
- 45:08Speaker 10: Thank goodness. It was just a training.
- 45:10Speaker 1: Oh my god, that's why they did it.
- 45:12Speaker 10: For it.
- 45:15Speaker 17: Ooh.
- 45:15Speaker 1: Keanu Reeves is addressing rumors that he and longtime gal
- 45:20Speaker 1: pal Alexandra Grant have tied the knot while stepping out
- 45:26Speaker 1: in New York last night for the premiere of his
- 45:28Speaker 1: new movie Good Fortune. The sixty one year old actor
- 45:33Speaker 1: made a clear speculation doesn't phase him. That wasn't the
- 45:37Speaker 1: first time, he said, We've been going out for a
- 45:40Speaker 1: long time. Reeves comment weeks after Grant reacted to rumors
- 45:47Speaker 1: on Instagram, calling them quote fake news, alongside of a
- 45:53Speaker 1: photo of the couple kissing on a staircase. She wrote
- 45:56Speaker 1: in September, this is a real photo, an engagement photo
- 46:01Speaker 1: or an ai wedding announcement, simply a kiss. I'm sharing
- 46:07Speaker 1: it here to say thank you to everyone for the
- 46:11Speaker 1: congratulations on our wedding, except that we didn't get married.
- 46:17Speaker 1: Good news as much needed these days. But it's still
- 46:19Speaker 1: fake news, so be careful out there. Reeves says that
- 46:25Speaker 1: Grant did a wonderful job setting the record straight. Says Keanu,
- 46:33Speaker 1: the wedding is a nice thing. Actually, these are more
- 46:37Speaker 1: words than I've ever think Keano's ever spoken in public.
- 46:42Speaker 1: He says, the wedding is a nice thing. People did
- 46:45Speaker 1: a lot of nice messages and stuff, but Alexandra just
- 46:50Speaker 1: did a wonderful job addressing like thank you, but here's
- 46:56Speaker 1: the reality. And then he added whoa, and everybody knew
- 47:04Speaker 1: it was true. This is a real kan Yeah, the
- 47:09Speaker 1: real Keanu, the real ke You go Kean. I didn't
- 47:13Speaker 1: know he had a new moody out.
- 47:16Speaker 10: Oh what's his name? I didn't know either, whole part.
- 47:19Speaker 1: Wait a minute, Wait a minute, I didn't too. I
- 47:22Speaker 1: was reading. Now that's okay, I missed it too. It's
- 47:24Speaker 1: called good fortune.
- 47:27Speaker 10: I didn't just blindly not listen.
- 47:29Speaker 1: No, no, I didn't listen, and I was reading it
- 47:31Speaker 1: good fortune.
- 47:35Speaker 10: Well, we wish you nothing but good fortune exactly. And
- 47:38Speaker 10: your gallpal Katy Perry might not be kissing and telling,
- 47:44Speaker 10: but she seemingly hinted at her romance with Justin Trudeau.
- 47:50Speaker 1: Gosh, it was like Prime Minister of Canada or something
- 47:56Speaker 1: like that, Justin Trudeau.
- 47:58Speaker 10: And did I don't think it with him being very
- 48:00Speaker 10: well liked, but yes.
- 48:04Speaker 16: No.
- 48:05Speaker 10: A fan gets down on one knee, apparently at her
- 48:07Speaker 10: concert on Monday, and with a handmade sign that asks
- 48:11Speaker 10: for her hand in marriage. Katie has a telling response, saying,
- 48:17Speaker 10: you really should have asked me about forty eight hours ago.
- 48:21Speaker 10: A day prior to the surprise proposal, there were photos
- 48:25Speaker 10: of her and the former Canadian prime minister packing on
- 48:28Speaker 10: PDA on a yacht off the coast of Santa Barbara
- 48:31Speaker 10: in California, except that was in late September, which I
- 48:34Speaker 10: guess was a couple of weeks ago. At their handsy
- 48:40Speaker 10: rendezvous comes weeks after Justin was seing Che's in pretty
- 48:44Speaker 10: hard at her Lifetime show in July, following a cozy
- 48:49Speaker 10: dinner date in Montreal, apparently She's also reportedly confirmed she
- 48:54Speaker 10: was dating or she was over dating Englishmen during Monday's
- 48:58Speaker 10: concert as well, telling fans no matter, no matter how
- 49:04Speaker 10: where it was, I sorry, no matter how I fall
- 49:06Speaker 10: for Englishmen all the time, but not anymore, no wonder,
- 49:09Speaker 10: I fall for Englishman all the time, but not anymore. Sorry,
- 49:11Speaker 10: that is what she said.
- 49:13Speaker 1: So well, we'll keep watching being meta boom, we're all,
- 49:16Speaker 1: We're all. I'm thrilled to see where this is going.
- 49:19Speaker 10: Oh, I'm sure it's gonna last.
- 49:21Speaker 5: Oh forever.
- 49:21Speaker 1: There's no question about that.
- 49:23Speaker 10: Of course, not made to be.
