- 2:27Speaker 2: a ole man.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Wow.
- 2:29Speaker 3: I know AB and D. It's Tim from the show
- 2:32Speaker 3: Me Dumbster in Missouri. I'm calling you back because I
- 2:36Speaker 3: was talking to my wife last night we were going
- 2:40Speaker 3: over the most recent Sister Wives at the tell All,
- 2:43Speaker 3: and I noted, you know, Cody was so very deliberate
- 2:47Speaker 3: and how he spoke up specifically about the money that
- 2:51Speaker 3: Mary paid into the original mansion and how he got
- 2:58Speaker 3: fifty percent of what was in the Vegas house because
- 3:02Speaker 3: of their quote unquote divorce decree. I would love if
- 3:08Speaker 3: Mary would say, you know what, you've convinced me, Cody,
- 3:13Speaker 3: not to go for the moral argument not but to
- 3:16Speaker 3: just strictly go by the letter of the law. And
- 3:19Speaker 3: since our divorce decree said we each get fifty percent
- 3:23Speaker 3: of our shared marital assets. When we were married in Vegas,
- 3:27Speaker 3: you had four houses, so I want my half from
- 3:32Speaker 3: all four of those houses according to our divorce decree.
- 3:36Speaker 3: And I will let go of the gift I gave
- 3:39Speaker 3: you too, for you know, Robin's house. I just it's
- 3:45Speaker 3: it would be an interesting worthy up to me if
- 3:47Speaker 3: she were to do that, So talk to you guys later.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Thanks, What do you think of that?
- 3:53Speaker 2: I would love that so much, like if Mary was like, Okay,
- 3:56Speaker 2: well we were married for X amount of years, so
- 3:58Speaker 2: give me fifty your shit now, bitch. Because Cody did
- 4:04Speaker 2: bring that up in the tell all, which I just
- 4:06Speaker 2: thought was so dirty of him, because it's like, Okay,
- 4:09Speaker 2: if you're using that to justify Mary's gift to you
- 4:14Speaker 2: for Robin's house, she should have only given you half
- 4:17Speaker 2: of it, then she shouldn't have given you the full amount,
- 4:19Speaker 2: which is what she did.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Good point.
- 4:21Speaker 2: So she should sue for that, and I wish she would,
- 4:24Speaker 2: but I don't know if she will.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Well, I think this hinges upon knowing exactly what was
- 4:30Speaker 1: in the divorce decree, because it can say whatever the
- 4:34Speaker 1: two people want it to say.
- 4:36Speaker 4: M hm.
- 4:37Speaker 1: So I wonder if there's some sort of stipulation in
- 4:39Speaker 1: the decree that would afford Mary that kind of access
- 4:44Speaker 1: to his many houses and assets through these three other wives.
- 4:49Speaker 1: I would doubt it. Yeah, I doubt Cody would let
- 4:52Speaker 1: her build something like that into their divorce agreement. But
- 4:55Speaker 1: it would be so fantastic if there was some kind
- 4:59Speaker 1: of language vague or otherwise that would allow for her
- 5:02Speaker 1: to come back now yeah and try to litigate it.
- 5:07Speaker 1: And maybe there is, and maybe she's just threatening it
- 5:10Speaker 1: at this time by saying something like, well, okay, well
- 5:13Speaker 1: you don't want to give me back my money, But
- 5:15Speaker 1: like I could really be asking for so much more
- 5:18Speaker 1: when you think about it, right, and also, were you
- 5:22Speaker 1: hiding assets by taking money out of the LLC. I'd
- 5:25Speaker 1: like to see an accounting of all of that. So
- 5:28Speaker 1: I don't know. Maybe she's doing something like that right
- 5:30Speaker 1: now behind the scenes, because in our recap episode we
- 5:33Speaker 1: were actually speculating as to whether she's currently still pursuing
- 5:38Speaker 1: him somehow legally. And I don't think there's litigation. I
- 5:42Speaker 1: don't think there's like a suit that's been filed, but
- 5:44Speaker 1: maybe he's still under thread of that, which I love
- 5:47Speaker 1: for him, probably, and maybe Mary is the person in
- 5:51Speaker 1: the best position to actually get something out of him
- 5:54Speaker 1: because Christine gave it up for whatever reason, and Janelle
- 5:57Speaker 1: has walked away. Yep, she's quietly quit and we're never
- 6:00Speaker 1: going to see her again pursuing it well.
- 6:02Speaker 2: And Mary was the only other one that was legally
- 6:04Speaker 2: married to Cody, so I think she does have she
- 6:07Speaker 2: might have some legal ability to come after him, And
- 6:12Speaker 2: it kind of sounded like it in these Tilna things,
- 6:15Speaker 2: like Cody was talking about how they were negotiating other
- 6:19Speaker 2: things like other assets, other financial decisions that they had
- 6:24Speaker 2: all made collectively, when they were also negotiating Coyote Pass
- 6:28Speaker 2: and that was why things got muddy, and that's why
- 6:31Speaker 2: Robin had the NDA, and she pulled that out the
- 6:33Speaker 2: last minute. And so I'm kind of wondering if Mary
- 6:36Speaker 2: was threatening some shit. I feel like if there was
- 6:39Speaker 2: a suit that was filed, somebody somewhere would have leaked
- 6:42Speaker 2: that shit.
- 6:43Speaker 1: Absolutely, of course, yes.
- 6:44Speaker 2: But I don't know. I don't know if Mary is
- 6:47Speaker 2: petty enough to go after that shit. I wish she was,
- 6:50Speaker 2: because I would be.
- 6:52Speaker 1: I feel like there's something in her that is averse
- 6:54Speaker 1: to being seen as a bitch, yeah, or being seen
- 6:58Speaker 1: as petty. I also if there's something like statute of
- 7:02Speaker 1: limitations that she might be up against. And so maybe
- 7:06Speaker 1: the time has passed and she no longer will have
- 7:08Speaker 1: the opportunity to do that. But it would be great
- 7:11Speaker 1: if she could, and it would be even better if
- 7:13Speaker 1: she did.
- 7:14Speaker 2: Oh, it would be so great. Let us know what
- 7:16Speaker 2: you guys think. If Mary should sue Cody for all
- 7:19Speaker 2: of this shit, I think.
- 7:19Speaker 1: She should take it off. Take what you can.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Yes, So thank you for your call. Tim. We never
- 7:24Speaker 2: really have men that call. It has called us before, yep,
- 7:29Speaker 2: and Cleatus I forgot we also had him was that
- 7:33Speaker 2: my husband, yes, is the only men that have called
- 7:38Speaker 2: all right. Next one we have is from m.
- 7:41Speaker 5: Hi Raccoon m here from Michigan and watching the second
- 7:45Speaker 5: part of the tella, what stuck out to me so much.
- 7:49Speaker 5: The entire conversation about this backdoor deal is only being
- 7:53Speaker 5: talked about because Robin is using it to deflect from
- 7:56Speaker 5: the fact that she put an NDA in there. If
- 8:01Speaker 5: you don't have that conversation, the wholetell all is just
- 8:04Speaker 5: about her and the confidentiality agreement and how ridiculous that is,
- 8:09Speaker 5: and her silencing the other wives and trying to take control,
- 8:12Speaker 5: and instead it becomes about that and this other conversation
- 8:15Speaker 5: which isn't even a real thing. Janelle made a stupid comment.
- 8:19Speaker 5: Cody made a stupid comment. It wasn't kind, It wasn't
- 8:22Speaker 5: respectful of Mary. Okay, I don't expect him to be.
- 8:25Speaker 5: He doesn't respect her. She and Janelle don't get along.
- 8:28Speaker 5: They made a stupid comment. It didn't go anywhere. He
- 8:31Speaker 5: readily admits, as does Janelle, that they were ever going
- 8:35Speaker 5: to actually sell the property out from under her, like
- 8:38Speaker 5: it was just something they talked about. Was it nice?
- 8:42Speaker 4: No?
- 8:42Speaker 5: Was it ever meant for Mary? To hear know, they're
- 8:44Speaker 5: making a huge deal out of it because it makes
- 8:47Speaker 5: Janelle look bad. I even just watched And Suki asks Robin,
- 8:51Speaker 5: why does Janelle think that the NDA was a power play?
- 8:55Speaker 5: And Robin says, oh, because she's trying to get out
- 8:59Speaker 5: of the fact that she was betraying Mary. That's what
- 9:01Speaker 5: she says. She's just using the entire you know, betrayal
- 9:06Speaker 5: narrative to deflect from the fact that it cut off.
- 9:10Speaker 2: But I agree me too.
- 9:13Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know that I can say much more.
- 9:17Speaker 1: I definitely think that M's version of what probably went
- 9:22Speaker 1: down between Janelle and Cody, like just like Key King
- 9:26Speaker 1: having a conversation. Well, we could just do what we want.
- 9:30Speaker 1: What could Mary actually do? Like legally, she's only entitled
- 9:33Speaker 1: to one third of one plot, Like, we could do
- 9:36Speaker 1: it if we wanted to. That's all it was. They
- 9:39Speaker 1: were never going to do that. I do hope that
- 9:42Speaker 1: Janelle has more integrity than to do that to Mary
- 9:45Speaker 1: or another person. Yeah, but it was absolutely a tool
- 9:50Speaker 1: that allowed Robin to pivot away from the NDA, which
- 9:54Speaker 1: she blatantly lied about terms of the timing and the
- 9:57Speaker 1: reason behind it. But now she gets to defle and
- 10:00Speaker 1: put the focus back on Janelle and this thing that
- 10:03Speaker 1: she allegedly did, which I mean, I think she was
- 10:07Speaker 1: probably unkind, but I don't think her intention was to
- 10:09Speaker 1: screw Mary over.
- 10:10Speaker 2: No, and I don't think it was a legit backdoor
- 10:12Speaker 2: deal that ever came to fruition. I think they just
- 10:15Speaker 2: mentioned it, they talked about it, but it didn't happen.
- 10:19Speaker 2: So why are we even bringing it up, like as
- 10:21Speaker 2: a conversation. It's literally just to hurt Mary, to make
- 10:24Speaker 2: Janelle look bad and to take the heat off of Robin.
- 10:28Speaker 2: And like the closest that we got to Robin even
- 10:30Speaker 2: admitting to anything was her bringing up the NDA and
- 10:34Speaker 2: saying that she just didn't want people to fight about
- 10:36Speaker 2: finances publicly. But did we pressure her into asking like
- 10:41Speaker 2: why did you add that clause in there about your
- 10:44Speaker 2: flagstaff home? Why did you add all of this shit?
- 10:47Speaker 2: And why was it at the last minute? Like, No,
- 10:49Speaker 2: we're not going to press her on anything hard because
- 10:51Speaker 2: it's Robin Brown. Yep, She's the sacred cow and we
- 10:55Speaker 2: can't ever call her out on her bullshit. So I agree,
- 10:59Speaker 2: Am I think?
- 11:00Speaker 1: Am you have it exactly right? Yes?
- 11:04Speaker 2: Next call we have is an anonymous raccoon. No, it's hate. No,
- 11:08Speaker 2: I'm just kidding.
- 11:09Speaker 4: No, Hello raccoons, it's Rachel from the Montana Dumpster. I've
- 11:14Speaker 4: been watching a few different YouTube creators when they're discussing
- 11:19Speaker 4: the back door dil that Cody is insisting that him
- 11:24Speaker 4: and Janelle had or we're working on. Everyone's talking about
- 11:28Speaker 4: the fact that Janelle needed the money so badly, and
- 11:32Speaker 4: so she was the one that just wanted it to
- 11:34Speaker 4: go through, and she was pushing people to fix it
- 11:37Speaker 4: and to finish it so that it was handled so
- 11:40Speaker 4: she could have her money. As far as I know,
- 11:44Speaker 4: Janell that isn't in need of a bunch of money
- 11:46Speaker 4: right now. She has stuff going on at Tata Farms.
- 11:50Speaker 4: She has been building. They purchased the land and the
- 11:54Speaker 4: property already. Maddie and Caleb and her have been moving
- 11:58Speaker 4: forward with things. I think they had permitting delays, but
- 12:02Speaker 4: I've not heard about it being a money delay. Cody
- 12:06Speaker 4: and Robin needed the money. And Robin's comment about how
- 12:11Speaker 4: Mary was in a very precarious situation. I'm sure that
- 12:15Speaker 4: Mary heard that a time or two from old Robin
- 12:18Speaker 4: and her stupid lips. Anyway, I'm curious to hear what
- 12:22Speaker 4: you girls think. I don't think that Janelle was the
- 12:25Speaker 4: one who needed the money so badly. It was Cody
- 12:28Speaker 4: and Robin they needed the money. What do you girls think?
- 12:31Speaker 2: Let me know, thanks by.
- 12:34Speaker 1: I disagree. I think Janelle needed the money. I think
- 12:37Speaker 1: Janelle actually said something about needing the money. I don't
- 12:41Speaker 1: remember where in the ether or the zeitgeist that I
- 12:45Speaker 1: heard that. But just because they bought the land doesn't
- 12:50Speaker 1: mean there aren't holding costs associated with that land. They're
- 12:54Speaker 1: probably paying a monthly not And then she had to
- 12:58Speaker 1: build a house, and I think I think that the
- 13:00Speaker 1: money she got out of Coyote Pass probably went right
- 13:04Speaker 1: into the building of her home. Like, without that money,
- 13:07Speaker 1: I don't think she would have built that home. So
- 13:10Speaker 1: I do think that there was a sense of urgency
- 13:12Speaker 1: for her because she's living with Maddie and Caleb in
- 13:15Speaker 1: their house, which is cool or whatever, but like she
- 13:17Speaker 1: wanted her own place and she wanted to start her
- 13:19Speaker 1: own life. But having said that, I also think Cody
- 13:24Speaker 1: and Robin needed the money too. Yeah, And I think
- 13:27Speaker 1: that this is all happening around the within like a
- 13:31Speaker 1: six month frame where they're selling the McMansion number one,
- 13:35Speaker 1: they are acquiring mcmanson number two. They're putting this money
- 13:39Speaker 1: down on that house. I think they used the money
- 13:43Speaker 1: that they actually made from Coyote Pass to pay pay
- 13:47Speaker 1: down the mortgage of mcmanson number two, to then turn
- 13:52Speaker 1: around and borrow against what they've already paid off in
- 13:55Speaker 1: some kind of a scheme, because we know they took
- 13:57Speaker 1: out that huge loan at the end of twenty twenty five,
- 14:00Speaker 1: and they're spending the money. They're spending that equity that
- 14:03Speaker 1: they put in. So like, I do think they need
- 14:04Speaker 1: the money, but I also think Janelle needed and or
- 14:08Speaker 1: really wanted the money so that she could start in
- 14:10Speaker 1: her life.
- 14:11Speaker 2: I kind of I'm up to minds. I think that
- 14:12Speaker 2: Janelle probably just wanted the money, and I think that
- 14:15Speaker 2: the deal was going to fall through, and she was
- 14:17Speaker 2: watching it as it was about to fall through, and
- 14:20Speaker 2: Cody and Robin were dragging their fucking feet, and Mary
- 14:22Speaker 2: was dragging her feet, and she was over it. I
- 14:24Speaker 2: think she wanted it to be done. I think she
- 14:27Speaker 2: wanted to not have her financial, like any ties to
- 14:30Speaker 2: these people anymore, like especially financially, and she wanted it
- 14:33Speaker 2: to be over. I think Cody and Robin had a
- 14:36Speaker 2: more of a sense of urgency to get the money
- 14:38Speaker 2: because they wanted to get the McMansion and probably because
- 14:41Speaker 2: they're literally living their lives debt financed for everything, and
- 14:46Speaker 2: so I think for them, they probably had more of
- 14:49Speaker 2: an urgency to get the money, to get everything sold
- 14:52Speaker 2: and to be done because they're broke as fuck. Whereas
- 14:55Speaker 2: like with Janelle, she's kind of tied to like Maddie
- 14:58Speaker 2: and Caleb, it seems like they're pretty financi set, Like
- 15:01Speaker 2: I don't want to say they're like rich, but they're
- 15:03Speaker 2: in a stable position and they took Janelle in, so
- 15:06Speaker 2: she was like fine with them. I think that's kind
- 15:10Speaker 2: of my opinion on it, Like I don't think she
- 15:13Speaker 2: was like gonna be homeless on the street.
- 15:15Speaker 1: And needed the money. Definitely not. But as Cody and
- 15:17Speaker 1: I do think your point about her also like wanting
- 15:20Speaker 1: the energetic ties cut, like I don't want to have
- 15:24Speaker 1: this hanging over my head waiting around for years, because
- 15:28Speaker 1: it sounds like based on the third tell all that
- 15:31Speaker 1: Cody was like, if we just sit on this property,
- 15:34Speaker 1: like in ten years, it's going to double in price
- 15:35Speaker 1: or triple in price or whatever. So he was thinking
- 15:37Speaker 1: of it more in terms of an investment, whereas Janelle's
- 15:41Speaker 1: just like, Yeah, I don't want to hang out for
- 15:43Speaker 1: a decade tied to you financially and otherwise, and so yeah,
- 15:47Speaker 1: let's just get this done.
- 15:48Speaker 2: Yeah. I think that's more where the motivation is for
- 15:51Speaker 2: Janelle in my opinion. And I also think Cody's talking
- 15:53Speaker 2: out his ass when he says that, because I'm like,
- 15:55Speaker 2: how is a laprodic like piece of land going to
- 16:00Speaker 2: double mprice?
- 16:01Speaker 5: In?
- 16:01Speaker 4: Well?
- 16:02Speaker 1: But what did they buy it for? I don't know,
- 16:05Speaker 1: eight hundred something thousand, I forget, God, my numbers are
- 16:07Speaker 1: not right about this. But then they sold it for
- 16:10Speaker 1: one point four or something like that, so they made
- 16:12Speaker 1: a tidy little profit on it. That's so much I
- 16:15Speaker 1: do as well. But he had to split it with
- 16:16Speaker 1: everybody he did.
- 16:17Speaker 2: Yeah, so let us know what you guys think. Who
- 16:20Speaker 2: needed the money more, Janelle or Cody and Robin. Next
- 16:24Speaker 2: caller we have is Megan.
- 16:26Speaker 6: Okay, Hi, B and D. This is Megan calling from
- 16:30Speaker 6: the very cold dumpster of Chicago. And I saw this
- 16:34Speaker 6: theory online. I did not come up with it myself,
- 16:37Speaker 6: but I did see it online, and I'm just wondering
- 16:40Speaker 6: your thoughts. Some people online are speculating that Cody left
- 16:48Speaker 6: Vegas and went to flag Staff not because of Dayton,
- 16:52Speaker 6: like he claims, but because he knew that Christine was
- 16:56Speaker 6: probably gonna leave him, and he knew that if something
- 17:00Speaker 6: happened like that, that he didn't have any claim to
- 17:05Speaker 6: any of her money, and if Janelle left, he wouldn't
- 17:08Speaker 6: have any claim to any of her money, and so
- 17:10Speaker 6: he wanted to make this big move to buy the
- 17:14Speaker 6: big McMansion while they were still quote unquote together, so
- 17:18Speaker 6: that he could have money from their house because the
- 17:20Speaker 6: only one that he legally married was married to was Mary,
- 17:24Speaker 6: and that was the only one who legally he could
- 17:26Speaker 6: have access to their money. So, anyways, what are your
- 17:29Speaker 6: guys' thoughts? Love the pod, love the Patreon buy.
- 17:34Speaker 2: I think that's an interesting theory. I think they moved
- 17:37Speaker 2: to Flagstaff though for Dayton, because they did say it,
- 17:40Speaker 2: and Dayton did go to NAU. I think or got
- 17:43Speaker 2: accepted to ANAU, and so that move made sense, especially
- 17:47Speaker 2: for Robin, who is tied to her kids like a
- 17:51Speaker 2: fucking barnacle. But it is an interesting theory that Cody
- 17:56Speaker 2: maybe saw the writing on the wall and knew that
- 17:59Speaker 2: Christine was going to lead him, and so he got
- 18:02Speaker 2: money from her still and tried to get money from
- 18:05Speaker 2: everybody else to make sure that he could secure his
- 18:08Speaker 2: bag and secure his home with his sweet honey Robin.
- 18:11Speaker 2: I think that's interesting.
- 18:13Speaker 1: Yeah, I would agree, though I think it was primarily
- 18:18Speaker 1: because of Dayton, which just makes it all the more
- 18:21Speaker 1: juicy that it appears he's no longer talking to Robin
- 18:25Speaker 1: or no longer involved with their family, and that potentially
- 18:30Speaker 1: he's back in contact with or even like living around
- 18:33Speaker 1: and or with his father, David Jessup. So yeah, I
- 18:38Speaker 1: think it was Robin. And we just read Christine's book.
- 18:42Speaker 1: We review the entire thing over four episodes on our Patreon.
- 18:45Speaker 1: But in the book as well, Christine talks about like
- 18:50Speaker 1: buying into the idea of the move to flag Staff
- 18:54Speaker 1: and really like receiving how Cody was trying to sell
- 18:57Speaker 1: it to her and the rest of the family, and
- 18:59Speaker 1: like believing in it and then being absolutely shocked when
- 19:02Speaker 1: she realized, oh, we're really moving because Dayton's going to
- 19:07Speaker 1: nau and like so she talks about it herself. That's
- 19:10Speaker 1: what she thinks the reason is for the move, And
- 19:13Speaker 1: I think that that's probably accurate now. Of course, I
- 19:17Speaker 1: think Robin is trying to play chess the entire time,
- 19:20Speaker 1: although she's only playing checkers. And I think she's thinking
- 19:23Speaker 1: about the entire time how she can get her hands,
- 19:27Speaker 1: her grubby, little demonic hands on everybody's money. And I
- 19:31Speaker 1: think Cody is probably colluding with her to some degree,
- 19:35Speaker 1: and so that might have been a minor aspect to it,
- 19:38Speaker 1: but I do think the major motivation was Robin wanting
- 19:42Speaker 1: to be with her. Yeah, and she then kicks out
- 19:45Speaker 1: of her house because of COVID, he's got to live
- 19:47Speaker 1: in an RV. And then he dumps them.
- 19:49Speaker 2: Right as he should. Because if I was Robin's kids,
- 19:52Speaker 2: I would have been no contact a long time.
- 19:54Speaker 1: There'd be a tell all book, fact, I would have
- 19:56Speaker 1: my own Patreon. I would be an absolute goblin online totally.
- 20:00Speaker 2: I'm surprised. Out of all of these children, I know, sidebar,
- 20:03Speaker 2: but like, out of all of these kids, there's one
- 20:05Speaker 2: million of them, not a single one is like writing
- 20:08Speaker 2: a book or spilling some secrets and shit like yet,
- 20:13Speaker 2: I don't know. Maybe they're all under NDAs too, I
- 20:16Speaker 2: don't think so.
- 20:17Speaker 1: I remember, I want to say Peyden and or Gwen
- 20:22Speaker 1: talking about Cody trying to get TLC to put them
- 20:26Speaker 1: under the constraints of an NDA, but that not going through.
- 20:30Speaker 2: Then spill some fucking I think.
- 20:32Speaker 1: I think Payden has talked about I think in the
- 20:34Speaker 1: interview that he did with that one guy I forget
- 20:37Speaker 1: his name, I think he said like, when the show
- 20:39Speaker 1: is over, I will talk about it.
- 20:41Speaker 2: Okay, Well I'm fucking waiting.
- 20:42Speaker 1: But for some reason, he has some misguided sense of
- 20:45Speaker 1: respect and honor for his parents. He completely exploited him
- 20:49Speaker 1: and all his sablings, so he wants to allow them
- 20:52Speaker 1: to have their show, and then he's going to say
- 20:55Speaker 1: something boo. I'll believe it when I see it, Beatrich facts.
- 21:00Speaker 2: So anyway, let us know what you guys think if
- 21:02Speaker 2: Cody maybe saw the writing on the wall with Christine
- 21:05Speaker 2: leaving him, and maybe he tried to take advantage of
- 21:08Speaker 2: her one last time moving to Flagstaff, or if it
- 21:11Speaker 2: was all for dating and Robin. Let us know the
- 21:14Speaker 2: comments below, all right, Next one, we have us from Victoria, ladies.
- 21:20Speaker 1: This is Victoria for New Jersey. Happy to talk to
- 21:24Speaker 1: you guys.
- 21:25Speaker 7: Honestly, I have not.
- 21:26Speaker 5: Been watching this season.
- 21:27Speaker 7: I've been watching your recaps as well. As other content creators.
- 21:31Speaker 7: And I was watching Sunday's recap of another person's video,
- 21:33Speaker 7: and I was getting really angry with Janelle when she
- 21:37Speaker 7: was talking about how she came into the family, because
- 21:39Speaker 7: it brought me back to one of the seasons, the
- 21:41Speaker 7: early seasons, when they went to Wyoming and Cody's childhood
- 21:45Speaker 7: friend said that he did not want to be associated
- 21:47Speaker 7: with them because he felt that they would use their
- 21:50Speaker 7: knowledge of LDS and AUB to sway him away from
- 21:54Speaker 7: the LDS religion. And Janelle says in her intertitional, oh,
- 21:59Speaker 7: are you that, like Wishby was she in your religion?
- 22:02Speaker 7: That you can easily be swayed away? And it made
- 22:05Speaker 7: me get angry because I'm like, yeah, honey, because that's
- 22:08Speaker 7: what happened to you.
- 22:10Speaker 2: She was raised LDS.
- 22:13Speaker 7: She goes and meets Mary's brother, who may he Rest
- 22:16Speaker 7: in peace, who was also LDS.
- 22:18Speaker 5: He left the AUB, he left Polygnany.
- 22:19Speaker 1: You wanted nothing to do with it.
- 22:21Speaker 7: And then a year and a half later, being around
- 22:23Speaker 7: his family aka his mother, he is she's going she's
- 22:28Speaker 7: divorced with the UB and married to Coke, getting married
- 22:32Speaker 7: to Cody, and the same thing with her mother. So
- 22:35Speaker 7: I was just sitting him, going, you are so ridiculous,
- 22:38Speaker 7: You're such a hypocrite, and come on, red flags major
- 22:41Speaker 7: that you were checking out your brother in law, well married,
- 22:44Speaker 7: and I'm wondering why Mary was so.
- 22:46Speaker 2: Angry at you, and then it cuts off and then
- 22:49Speaker 2: I think she had like a second voice message. I
- 22:51Speaker 2: don't know if we can get to it though, where
- 22:53Speaker 2: she talked about how Suki sucks ass.
- 22:55Speaker 1: Oh my god, agreed, agreed. So what was she saying
- 23:00Speaker 1: about Mary's brother, may he rest in peace leaving the AUB?
- 23:05Speaker 1: Is that what she was saying? Yeah, Mary's Because I
- 23:07Speaker 1: don't know any of this lore, so I don't even
- 23:10Speaker 1: that happened.
- 23:10Speaker 2: It sounds like she said that Mary's brother left the AUB.
- 23:13Speaker 2: He was LDS, and so when Janelle was married to him,
- 23:16Speaker 2: they were LDS. And then Janelle's mom started banging Cody's
- 23:22Speaker 2: dad right, and then to convert it to the faith,
- 23:24Speaker 2: even though she was trying to steer Janelle away from it.
- 23:27Speaker 2: I say, like, no, it's dangerous. But then she got.
- 23:30Speaker 1: Hard, got dickmatized.
- 23:33Speaker 7: Friends.
- 23:34Speaker 1: Yeah, and so she joins the AUB, becomes a plural
- 23:37Speaker 1: wife yep.
- 23:38Speaker 2: And then Janelle leaves Mary's brother and then has the
- 23:40Speaker 2: hots for Cody and then converts so that way she
- 23:43Speaker 2: can bang Cody.
- 23:45Speaker 1: Interesting. Yeah, that whole thing smacks of a lack of
- 23:49Speaker 1: integrity for sure. And you have to wonder to yourself
- 23:54Speaker 1: the timeline of events, because if she's commenting about wanting
- 23:58Speaker 1: her children to have the bill of her brother in
- 24:01Speaker 1: law Cody Brown, like before anything ever happened between them,
- 24:07Speaker 1: then she was thinking about it totally. She was lusting
- 24:10Speaker 1: after him and maybe he was pursuing her. And we
- 24:12Speaker 1: talked about this last week. But in terms of her
- 24:16Speaker 1: calling out that guy, was his name ken I forget
- 24:18Speaker 1: his name? Yeah, I think it was Kem the earlier
- 24:20Speaker 1: seasons for being like worried about losing his faith. That's
- 24:25Speaker 1: a great point and it does showcase Janelle's hypocrisy because
- 24:29Speaker 1: that's the exact situation she found herself in. Oh she
- 24:32Speaker 1: was swayed away from LDS in order to be fundamentalist.
- 24:36Speaker 2: Yep, just so she could bang Cody. I mean, I
- 24:38Speaker 2: feel like that's.
- 24:38Speaker 1: You think that's what it is?
- 24:40Speaker 2: Yeah, same the reason why her mom because.
- 24:41Speaker 1: She seems pretty convicted, like when she's articulating her faith
- 24:46Speaker 1: and wise to be well why she's done the things
- 24:50Speaker 1: like wanting a spiritual release, like she is honoring her faith,
- 24:53Speaker 1: so like you would hope that she converted because she
- 24:56Speaker 1: was actually convicted and had the lightning bolt in her pus.
- 25:00Speaker 1: She had a lightning bolt in her she had the
- 25:03Speaker 1: burning blows them and she's like, I gotta be aub
- 25:05Speaker 1: but like, yeah, I don't know, maybe it was Cody.
- 25:09Speaker 2: I think it was all Cody. And she is hypocritical
- 25:12Speaker 2: and like this was clear. This made clear to me
- 25:16Speaker 2: in these tell alls because of everything that she's just
- 25:19Speaker 2: been spouting in these things, Like she even says at
- 25:23Speaker 2: one point something like you know, I pursued Cody and Mary,
- 25:28Speaker 2: like they didn't pursue me, But then she goes back
- 25:31Speaker 2: on that and says that they pursued her, and so
- 25:34Speaker 2: she's talking out of both sides of her mouth, and
- 25:36Speaker 2: like if the tenet of their faith is like you know,
- 25:39Speaker 2: the women have to pursue each other. But then she
- 25:42Speaker 2: was the one that was pursuing Cody and I guess
- 25:45Speaker 2: Mary because she was married to him. Like it's so hypocritical,
- 25:48Speaker 2: And then you have her call and shit calling out
- 25:51Speaker 2: Jen for no reason, and she signed an NDA just
- 25:54Speaker 2: so she could get her bag from Coyote Pass and
- 25:56Speaker 2: then the whole back door deal. I'm just like, Ganna,
- 25:59Speaker 2: you shady, Yeah, you a shady hope.
- 26:01Speaker 1: Well, she's self interested. She's looking out for herself, selfish.
- 26:06Speaker 1: I don't even know if that extends to her kids. Honestly,
- 26:08Speaker 1: I just fine, I call that into question. But she's
- 26:12Speaker 1: entirely self interested and out for what she can get.
- 26:15Speaker 2: Yep. And it'll be interesting when we go back into
- 26:17Speaker 2: the rewinds if we can see more of these hypocritical moments.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Because I'm gonna be looking for him, honey.
- 26:22Speaker 2: Me too, because I didn't even catch that one about
- 26:24Speaker 2: the whole LDS thing. I'm like, that's a good little comment.
- 26:27Speaker 2: So let us know if you guys think Janelle's a
- 26:30Speaker 2: hypocrite or if we're just two bitches. So yeah, anyway,
- 26:34Speaker 2: last call we have is from Gilly from Philly.
- 26:36Speaker 8: Gilly, Oh my god, this is Gilly from Philly, the
- 26:40Speaker 8: opossum that identifies as a raccoon, and I'm here to
- 26:43Speaker 8: talk about Janelle Brown in all of her mean girl ways. Well,
- 26:47Speaker 8: we know that she was married to Mary's brother, but
- 26:50Speaker 8: when she tells the story, she makes it seem like
- 26:52Speaker 8: it was no big deal. We also know that the
- 26:54Speaker 8: only reason that she was invited to Mary and Chlode's
- 26:57Speaker 8: wedding is because she was the sister in law that
- 27:00Speaker 8: stop her from crushing on Cody and telling Mary how
- 27:02Speaker 8: good he looked and if she had future sons she
- 27:05Speaker 8: would want them to have his build and look. She
- 27:08Speaker 8: also approached Cody and said that she wanted to be
- 27:11Speaker 8: in on the family. She did not approach Mary, which
- 27:14Speaker 8: is supposed to be the custom in their religion. That's
- 27:17Speaker 8: something she also chooses to omit when she tells the story. Then,
- 27:21Speaker 8: Cody and Janelle both decided that they were going to
- 27:23Speaker 8: get married on Mary's birthday, which is a cold blooded
- 27:27Speaker 8: thing to do, and they knew exactly what they were
- 27:29Speaker 8: doing when they had children. Janelle said that when Madison
- 27:34Speaker 8: was born, her milk did not come in and she
- 27:36Speaker 8: could not breastfeed little Maddie. So guess who did it? Mary,
- 27:41Speaker 8: Mary breastfed Madison. Despite all the bickering and all of
- 27:46Speaker 8: the stuffing of food down the drain that Janelle was doing,
- 27:51Speaker 8: she numbed her emotions to the hurt that she felt
- 27:54Speaker 8: and the betrayal that she probably felt to care for
- 27:58Speaker 8: Janelle's child and to nurture her in the infancy moments
- 28:03Speaker 8: of her life. What do you guys think about that?
- 28:06Speaker 1: This is a new respect for Mary for me.
- 28:09Speaker 2: You know what, I did not know about Mary breastfeeding Madison.
- 28:14Speaker 1: I think I had heard that. I think I remember that.
- 28:18Speaker 2: God, I did not know that. Yeah, so I agree
- 28:23Speaker 2: a newfound respect for me for Mary as well. And
- 28:27Speaker 2: also Janelle you a lazy ass bitch too, because well,
- 28:32Speaker 2: like you know, she was throwing food down the sink
- 28:36Speaker 2: just to be petty to Mary, so not doing the
- 28:39Speaker 2: dishes also at night, So you lazy. And then you
- 28:43Speaker 2: made Christine once Christine came into the family, like basically
- 28:47Speaker 2: raise your kids and also educate them.
- 28:49Speaker 1: Remember how Christine writes in her book that Janelle would
- 28:51Speaker 1: like march her outside and make her garden too.
- 28:53Speaker 2: Yeah, because Janelle was lazy as book. And then she
- 28:57Speaker 2: like and I, okay, she wasn't all lazy. She was
- 29:00Speaker 2: working for the family and she was slaving away for that.
- 29:02Speaker 2: So like that's all fair and valid. But you still
- 29:05Speaker 2: made these women and raise your children, educate them and
- 29:09Speaker 2: now also breastfeed them while what you were working. And
- 29:13Speaker 2: then you came home, ate some ice cream and went
- 29:15Speaker 2: to bed and then fucked Cody.
- 29:18Speaker 1: Yi, I'm your safe space, Cody.
- 29:20Speaker 2: Yeah, here.
- 29:22Speaker 1: My bossom, I got you. Yeah.
- 29:27Speaker 2: I don't know. I'm just like, after these tellaws and everything,
- 29:30Speaker 2: I'm like Janelle's So.
- 29:31Speaker 1: Yeah, this was a bad season for Janelle for sure.
- 29:35Speaker 1: But I didn't hear any of these phone calls in advance,
- 29:38Speaker 1: So like, I already kind of addressed some of this
- 29:40Speaker 1: a little bit, just the shadiness of the timeline. When
- 29:44Speaker 1: she sees Cody and she gets the lightning bolt in
- 29:47Speaker 1: her pussy, and then I think probably makes it known,
- 29:52Speaker 1: makes some advances, and we must question as to when
- 29:55Speaker 1: these sort of flirtatious advances were made. Was she married
- 29:58Speaker 1: to her first husban It's been like it's all a
- 30:01Speaker 1: little murky, it is, and sus.
- 30:04Speaker 2: It's totally sus And then like on top of it all,
- 30:07Speaker 2: when you met Cody, then you wanted to get married
- 30:10Speaker 2: on Mary's birthday, and then you're telling her allegedly that
- 30:14Speaker 2: she could just celebrate her own birthday, her day of
- 30:16Speaker 2: her birth on a different day.
- 30:18Speaker 1: Well, and that wasn't clear. It wasn't clear that they
- 30:20Speaker 1: were asking Mary to make that sacrifice. What they said
- 30:24Speaker 1: was that we can just celebrate later. But we don't
- 30:27Speaker 1: know whether that was the anniversary or the birthday, but
- 30:30Speaker 1: who knows, it was probably the birth.
- 30:31Speaker 2: Sounds like it was the birthday, which is Mary.
- 30:33Speaker 1: We don't give a crap about you.
- 30:35Speaker 2: No, not at all.
- 30:37Speaker 1: Like I'm not here in the early years to make
- 30:41Speaker 1: excuses for Mary Brown, because my sense of things, my
- 30:44Speaker 1: psychic intuition, just tells me that she was going off
- 30:49Speaker 1: the rails on a crazy train. And I just get
- 30:52Speaker 1: the feeling, the vibration. She was like a little bit
- 30:55Speaker 1: abusive verbally, emotionally, like she made the trailer a top
- 31:00Speaker 1: sick place. And Janelle like maybe she's, you know, wants
- 31:04Speaker 1: to drop it low and spread it wide. Maybe she's
- 31:06Speaker 1: got that inclination, But like she also seems like a
- 31:09Speaker 1: soft spoken person. Somebody's not necessarily going to assert herself
- 31:14Speaker 1: strongly in a situation, and so she didn't know what
- 31:16Speaker 1: to do. And I think Mary was wild and out.
- 31:19Speaker 2: I don't know. I think we're given Janelle too much
- 31:21Speaker 2: of a past. She is a tourist after all.
- 31:23Speaker 1: No, I think I think Mary was crazy. I think
- 31:25Speaker 1: you've got Christine coming in calling it crazy. I think
- 31:28Speaker 1: you've got Cody saying she was crazy. I think Mary
- 31:30Speaker 1: has admitted that she has done many things wrong, and
- 31:33Speaker 1: I think it's happening in the early years. But now though,
- 31:37Speaker 1: the Mary that we're seeing on the couch across her
- 31:40Speaker 1: from Suki, she seems well put together, grounded, Like I
- 31:46Speaker 1: like her mindset. I think she's focusing on the right things.
- 31:49Speaker 1: I mean, I do think she's still deflecting and she's
- 31:52Speaker 1: still not taking full responsibility for things like the catfish,
- 31:55Speaker 1: but like she's coming along, she's doing better. Yeah, I
- 31:58Speaker 1: like her much more. But I have a feeling if
- 31:59Speaker 1: I met her in my early twenties, same as her
- 32:03Speaker 1: out to beat her ass out, a straight beat her ass, Like,
- 32:05Speaker 1: you don't talk to me like that, though you don't
- 32:07Speaker 1: tell me when I do my fucking dishes. Ye, having
- 32:10Speaker 1: said that I didn't do the dishes last night because listen,
- 32:14Speaker 1: I didn't do it because.
- 32:15Speaker 2: I was busy, hut and you were talking shit.
- 32:17Speaker 1: Let me finish my story. And I'm in bed with
- 32:20Speaker 1: my eleven man at like eleven PM, and I'm like,
- 32:23Speaker 1: oh shit, I didn't do my dishes. He's like, don't
- 32:26Speaker 1: worry about it. Yeah, you can just do it in
- 32:27Speaker 1: the morning. It's perfectly fine. And I'm like, okay, I
- 32:30Speaker 1: can do that. I can be a Janelle.
- 32:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:32Speaker 1: And so I got my kendle. I read for a
- 32:35Speaker 1: couple of hours. But bitch, at like one point thirty
- 32:37Speaker 1: in the morning, I'm like, I have got you are
- 32:39Speaker 1: to get into that kitchen and clean it. So I
- 32:42Speaker 1: was in there just doing dishes, bleach in the counter,
- 32:45Speaker 1: sweeping up floors. I can't take it. I cannot leave
- 32:47Speaker 1: my kitchen dirty before I go to sleep.
- 32:50Speaker 2: Oh my god, it ain't that serious.
- 32:53Speaker 1: Well, okay, Janelle. For me, it is, I want to
- 32:56Speaker 1: wake up to a nice kitchen. I want the birds
- 32:58Speaker 1: to be singing. I want the coffee to be I
- 33:00Speaker 1: don't want to see a log.
- 33:01Speaker 2: Of d that's fair. But every now and then, every
- 33:04Speaker 2: once in a while, if you're tired, it's fine. It
- 33:07Speaker 2: ain't no big deal.
- 33:09Speaker 1: I just think Mary was a pain. Janelle was a pain, yeah,
- 33:14Speaker 1: you know, and uneducated, disregulated. In a call to banging
- 33:20Speaker 1: a guy with a three inch penis with no game,
- 33:23Speaker 1: I mean, life's gotta suck it.
- 33:25Speaker 2: I mean it had to be really terrible in those
- 33:27Speaker 2: earlier years. Honestly, and like, I will just give Mary
- 33:31Speaker 2: somewhat of the benefit of a doubt. I think she
- 33:33Speaker 2: probably was off the rails for sure, But I'm wondering,
- 33:36Speaker 2: like when her emotional dysregulation happened, Like, was it after
- 33:41Speaker 2: Janelle moved into the family and started banging Cody really
- 33:45Speaker 2: loudly in the room next door. I mean, if it
- 33:48Speaker 2: were me, I probably would be raising hell too, but
- 33:51Speaker 2: I also wouldn't be living this lifestyle.
- 33:53Speaker 1: Yeah, but do you remember when Cody and Mary went
- 33:55Speaker 1: to therapy and like, I can't remember the season, and
- 33:58Speaker 1: he tells her, you lied to me when we got married.
- 34:01Speaker 1: Does everybody remember that you lied to me? I'm like, well,
- 34:05Speaker 1: what she lied to you about? Of course, they never
- 34:07Speaker 1: clarify and we can't know for certain what he means,
- 34:10Speaker 1: but it gives me the impression that from the very
- 34:13Speaker 1: beginning there was problem.
- 34:15Speaker 2: Probably. I mean even now with Cody and Mary talking
- 34:20Speaker 2: about how they they kind of just set each other off,
- 34:22Speaker 2: and like how Robin says that they're like old fashioned firecrackers.
- 34:25Speaker 2: It's just like when one set off, the other set off.
- 34:27Speaker 2: Like I imagine that's probably how their relationship was from
- 34:31Speaker 2: the jump. Once they got married, they got legally married,
- 34:34Speaker 2: they started living together. Maybe they had you know, some
- 34:37Speaker 2: good moments or whatever when it was just the two
- 34:39Speaker 2: of them, but the second they started actually becoming a
- 34:42Speaker 2: plural family, like it was gloves off.
- 34:45Speaker 1: I think Mary was probably an emotional terrorist. Like when
- 34:50Speaker 1: you hear and I say terrorist, it's a callback to
- 34:53Speaker 1: Betty Butterfield, but you wouldn't know that. But I think
- 34:55Speaker 1: she was an emotional terrorist. I think when you have
- 34:58Speaker 1: Cody talking about Janelle wanting to be a safe space
- 35:01Speaker 1: for him, and then him and his apologics to Janelle
- 35:03Speaker 1: talking about like I didn't protect you, I think there
- 35:06Speaker 1: was so much volatility and craziness happening in that trailer.
- 35:09Speaker 1: It was a whirlwind of terribleness, and I think most
- 35:13Speaker 1: of it originated from Mary. Yeah, but like listen, I'm
- 35:16Speaker 1: I'm one hundred percent in agreement that the Mary that
- 35:18Speaker 1: we see now is a different person and we're all
- 35:22Speaker 1: different than when we were twenty years old or Honey,
- 35:26Speaker 1: you wouldn't want to know me what I was to
- 35:27Speaker 1: what do I was crazy?
- 35:30Speaker 2: You're probably like Mary Brown, I was I was.
- 35:33Speaker 1: I probably would were scrapping, honey. Yeah, you could not
- 35:36Speaker 1: tell me nothing.
- 35:38Speaker 2: Yep.
- 35:38Speaker 1: So I'm a different person. Thinner, Yeah, pretty much thinner,
- 35:43Speaker 1: just kidding, gorgeous.
- 35:45Speaker 2: I think we can all agree that, like, we can
- 35:47Speaker 2: understand the sentiment behind Mary's hurt feelings because Janelle was
- 35:51Speaker 2: a home wreck and hoe and she was fucking Cody
- 35:54Speaker 2: really loudly and their little trailer and they were poor,
- 35:57Speaker 2: and Mary was jealous and didn't like the lifestyle and everything.
- 36:01Speaker 2: But it sounds like from everybody involved, Mary was a
- 36:05Speaker 2: big old bitch and she was scary apparently, and according
- 36:08Speaker 2: to Cody, even in this tell all, she was scrapping,
- 36:11Speaker 2: she was getting in your face, right in your face.
- 36:13Speaker 2: She never met me yelling at everybody, yelling at at
- 36:16Speaker 2: you in front of you.
- 36:18Speaker 1: Can't do that to everybody, you know. Sometimes you could
- 36:21Speaker 1: just tell when somebody hasn't been slapped the right way Mary,
- 36:24Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, but she she was slapped down by life.
- 36:27Speaker 1: And she talked to the last tell all about how
- 36:31Speaker 1: she used to be very volatile and expressive with her emotions,
- 36:34Speaker 1: but then the pendulum swung all the other way. Also
- 36:37Speaker 1: now she says nothing, and I can relate to that
- 36:39Speaker 1: very much as well.
- 36:40Speaker 2: Yeah, And like I did kind of feel for her
- 36:42Speaker 2: a little where she's like, you know, I turned it
- 36:45Speaker 2: all off, like I completely just shut everything down. And
- 36:47Speaker 2: that's like not a good way to go about life,
- 36:49Speaker 2: and it's not fair to her. And so it makes
- 36:52Speaker 2: sense why she's doing this whole worthy up thing, and
- 36:54Speaker 2: it makes sense why now she's even afraid a little
- 36:56Speaker 2: bit to speak her mind and speak her truth because
- 36:59Speaker 2: she doesn't want to let out the bitchy side of her.
- 37:03Speaker 1: I want her to, but it would just pointed in
- 37:05Speaker 1: the right direction, Yes, just pointed to codium Robbins. Gosh,
- 37:10Speaker 1: that was an awesome call. Jilly from Philly, Billy from
- 37:14Speaker 1: Phillykhilly from Philly. You got us going. We were talking
- 37:19Speaker 1: about these women in the trailer.
- 37:21Speaker 2: Very good call from no Possum who identifies.
- 37:23Speaker 1: I love no possum, me too.
- 37:26Speaker 2: They're very cute. We have a bunch in our backyard.
- 37:28Speaker 5: You do. Do you feed them?
- 37:29Speaker 1: Of course, that's good and they need a warm place
- 37:31Speaker 1: to stay.
- 37:32Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:32Speaker 1: Well, and people are so put off by them because
- 37:34Speaker 1: they're not attractive, but they're cute there. But they're really
- 37:37Speaker 1: useful for the environment and they're harmless anyway, that's great.
- 37:41Speaker 1: We love an no possum. That's all I'm saying.
- 37:43Speaker 2: We do and we love all of your calls. Thank
- 37:45Speaker 2: you guys to everyone who's called in, and sorry if
- 37:48Speaker 2: we couldn't get to every single call because.
- 37:49Speaker 1: There's a lot of them.
- 37:50Speaker 2: We're busy ladies over here.
- 37:53Speaker 1: We are. And we also want to say that we
- 37:55Speaker 1: want to acknowledge the closing of the momentous season twenty
- 38:00Speaker 1: Sister Wives. You might have some final thoughts and opinions.
- 38:04Speaker 1: Yeah that you want to scream into the dumpster and
- 38:06Speaker 1: we want to hear it. So if you want to
- 38:09Speaker 1: call and give us those final thoughts, all you have
- 38:11Speaker 1: to do is go to speak pipe dot com slash
- 38:13Speaker 1: Reality TV crans. You got ninety seconds. Let us know
- 38:16Speaker 1: how you feel and hopefully we can get to some
- 38:19Speaker 1: of these calls. Yeah, now, Beatrice, is there anything else
- 38:22Speaker 1: that we need to say to these beautiful raccoons and
- 38:25Speaker 1: opossums before we get up bond out of here.
- 38:30Speaker 2: Well, if you love our podcast, please do us a
- 38:32Speaker 2: favor and go to your favorite podcast platform and leave

- 38:42Speaker 1: I think we're going to be back next week to
- 38:45Speaker 1: pick up our sister wives rewinds rewinds and conversation.
- 38:50Speaker 2: Maybe suddenly Amish.
- 38:52Speaker 1: Maybe suddenly amish. I highly don't want to do it.
- 38:55Speaker 1: I'm really going to dig in my ails on that
- 38:57Speaker 1: and have a further conversation with you. But we're going
