RÚV English Radio visits the Glaumbær turf house, near Varmahlið, in north Iceland. Near the beginning of last month - when the weather was very different - Darren visited Byggðasafn Skagfirðinga (The Skagafjörður Heritage Museum) - https://www.glaumbaer.is/en - where you can find the Glaumbær turf house. It's part of the National Museum of Iceland’s Historic Building Collection. Darren was guided round the cool and low-ceilinged interior of the turf house by museum director Berglind Þorsteinsdóttir.
