Transcript
- 0:02Speaker 1: Hi guys, this is Teddy Mellencamp and I'm joined by
- 0:04Speaker 1: my friend Emily Simpson for our new spin off show
- 0:08Speaker 1: Popping Off, where we are digging deep on this season
- 0:12Speaker 1: of Banner Pump Rules.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Hi guys, welcome to another episode of Popping Off with myself,
- 0:17Speaker 2: Teddy Mellencamp and and Emily Simpson.
- 0:21Speaker 3: Thanks for joining us because we're hilarious, because we are
- 0:25Speaker 3: amazing at least we see.
- 0:30Speaker 1: So we have two fans that would be us. We
- 0:35Speaker 1: are each other's biggest fans. Oh my gosh, I got
- 0:38Speaker 1: some dms after last week though, Emily.
- 0:40Speaker 3: Oh oh was it the people that were mad at
- 0:43Speaker 3: us for the LVP comments, Because that's what.
- 0:45Speaker 2: I got, No, I got. You need to tell Emily
- 0:49Speaker 2: she needs to be nicer to you. Oh really?
- 0:53Speaker 1: Oh yeah, they said, Teddy, we just want you to
- 0:57Speaker 1: know that even though you get so much hate, people
- 1:00Speaker 1: really do like you. They and you can't let Emily
- 1:05Speaker 1: tease you that way.
- 1:07Speaker 4: And I was like, if you think that, Emily, the
- 1:12Speaker 4: old people is the one that hurts me the most,
- 1:17Speaker 4: you all got another thing coming.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Yeah on the joke, folks, I'm all right, I mean,
- 1:24Speaker 1: especially now that we have matching backgrounds in pink and blue.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Like we it's equal banter. It goes both ways. I
- 1:31Speaker 1: take it and give it. Yeah, we're both fond. We're
- 1:35Speaker 1: equal opportunists, all right with giving each other heat. It's
- 1:40Speaker 1: what gets us through vander Pump Rules. Because this week,
- 1:45Speaker 1: more than ever, we have a lot. Most of the
- 1:48Speaker 1: time we don't have that many headlines. We're just recapping
- 1:51Speaker 1: the episode. But I feel like since last week there's
- 1:54Speaker 1: been six hundred and twenty four thousand headlines that like
- 1:58Speaker 1: even from Britney cart right, it's name changes. I'm exhausted.
- 2:03Speaker 1: I know, it's a lot, a lot to talk about.
- 2:06Speaker 1: It's it's a lot. Is there anything new that you'd
- 2:08Speaker 1: like to report for us, just you know, prior to
- 2:11Speaker 1: getting into it, just.
- 2:13Speaker 2: In general, like in life? Yeah, in life?
- 2:15Speaker 1: Is there anything that you feel like I need to
- 2:17Speaker 1: know or that like we really need to like bond
- 2:21Speaker 1: our friendship to the next level. No, I saw you
- 2:25Speaker 1: just push your nose up like this, right? No?
- 2:33Speaker 2: Nothing, okay, no life updates.
- 2:35Speaker 1: I don't really have any life updates either, but no,
- 2:39Speaker 1: who does have a life update? La? La?
- 2:42Speaker 2: Yeah, I know, this is this is why we really
- 2:45Speaker 2: work together.
- 2:45Speaker 1: You you saw the person that are rundown and really where.
- 2:50Speaker 2: I know where you were going. I get it. I
- 2:52Speaker 2: follow this.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Well, this all makes sense now because I was supposed
- 2:56Speaker 1: to be going to Disneyland with Lala and Stassy and
- 3:00Speaker 1: then all of a sudden it got canceled. Well at
- 3:02Speaker 1: first it got rained out, and then it got canceled,
- 3:04Speaker 1: and I was wondering, wonder why I got canceled. Now
- 3:07Speaker 1: it makes sense. You don't want to go in the
- 3:08Speaker 1: teacups pregnant.
- 3:10Speaker 2: No, how far along is she do? We know?
- 3:13Speaker 1: Well, far enough along that she has a little baby
- 3:15Speaker 1: bump in this picture with ocean looking up, so like
- 3:20Speaker 1: clearly you know she was probably in the first trimester
- 3:23Speaker 1: during this Disney excursion. And then now that's why we
- 3:27Speaker 1: had to cancel. But I mean, Dove has gotten through
- 3:32Speaker 1: the hardships of missing Disneyland on her birthday in order.
- 3:35Speaker 3: For see see that's what happens where you went wrong
- 3:39Speaker 3: as you told her you were taking her to Disneyland right,
- 3:42Speaker 3: and then you had to back out of it. That's
- 3:44Speaker 3: why I've learned to just not tell kids anything anything,
- 3:48Speaker 3: not anything, not good news, not bad news, nothing, because
- 3:52Speaker 3: then when you have to change it, they just don't
- 3:55Speaker 3: adapt and they just can't handle it so well. The
- 3:58Speaker 3: good news is the day that I did tell her
- 4:01Speaker 3: we couldn't go was because it was pouring down rain,
- 4:04Speaker 3: and that she seemed since then to have forgotten of
- 4:07Speaker 3: that promise, right, And then now she does slightly like
- 4:12Speaker 3: give me little digs by saying things like Matteo from
- 4:16Speaker 3: my class went to Disneyland this week, and I'm like, oh,
- 4:20Speaker 3: that's so nice for him. And then I just let
- 4:23Speaker 3: it be, let it a ride, because I don't say
- 4:25Speaker 3: anything else.
- 4:26Speaker 1: No, I'm not like, well we read booked yours, because
- 4:29Speaker 1: clearly we didn't. Didn't. But Laala posted a picture on
- 4:33Speaker 1: Instagram this Sunday showing off her baby bump, explaining in
- 4:37Speaker 1: the caption I'm expanding my pod. She received a multitude
- 4:41Speaker 1: of comments on this Instagram post, but the one that
- 4:44Speaker 1: stuck out to most of the fans was a congratulatory
- 4:46Speaker 1: message from Randall Emmett's ex wife, Amber child chat Childers,
- 4:54Speaker 1: Amber Childers, Amber Childers, Amber Chielders.
- 4:58Speaker 2: I think that's that why in there that's throwing you off.
- 5:01Speaker 2: I mean it could be.
- 5:03Speaker 1: I also thought our new sign said pooping off and
- 5:06Speaker 1: I almost went when I got when I first got
- 5:09Speaker 1: at the p's weren't lit up, so that I was
- 5:12Speaker 1: like pooping off right on, Tad said, pooping off things
- 5:16Speaker 1: are really makes it makes sense though, But Amber says, congratulations, mama,
- 5:22Speaker 1: she wrote on Monday's episode of Give Them Laala podcast,
- 5:26Speaker 1: she says what she was looking for in a sperm donor,
- 5:30Speaker 1: I don't care about looks, Lalla said, adding that she
- 5:33Speaker 1: did ask what the donor looked like physically. I was like,
- 5:36Speaker 1: I would prefer that this baby kind of have the
- 5:39Speaker 1: same aesthetic look as me and my mom in Ocean,
- 5:42Speaker 1: so when they come into this world, it's not only
- 5:44Speaker 1: like you don't have a dad because I got you
- 5:46Speaker 1: from a donor, but you don't look like all those
- 5:49Speaker 1: types of things. But then she said, my biggest thing though,
- 5:52Speaker 1: is I did not want to see adult pictures. That
- 5:55Speaker 1: makes it too real, too personal. Like sure, I can
- 5:58Speaker 1: look at them as a little kid. That's cute, and
- 6:00Speaker 1: I hate to say it, but I also don't need
- 6:03Speaker 1: them to be extremely.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Smart because I'm not.
- 6:07Speaker 1: kN Stoner has it's like this could be me Ken'stoner
- 6:15Speaker 1: has a tiny connection with her daughter Ocean as his
- 6:18Speaker 1: favorite song and poem both had to do with the ocean.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Upon her child's eighteenth birthday, the California Cryobank can give
- 6:26Speaker 1: them access to their spoon donor.
- 6:28Speaker 2: If they have questions and they.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Want to go find their dad can explain, well, I
- 6:32Speaker 1: have some questions for you, Emily. Would you want to
- 6:35Speaker 1: see an adult picture?
- 6:36Speaker 2: Because I would? Well, I would.
- 6:39Speaker 3: I mean her first sentence when she says I don't
- 6:41Speaker 3: care about looks, I feel like that would have been
- 6:43Speaker 3: the thing that I care about, Like, let me see
- 6:44Speaker 3: what this person looks like like, especially if you're going
- 6:47Speaker 3: to say I don't care about smart. Yeah, you can't
- 6:50Speaker 3: not care about either one. You can't be like I
- 6:52Speaker 3: don't care what they look like and I don't care
- 6:54Speaker 3: if they're smart.
- 6:55Speaker 2: Then what so you got to pick one?
- 6:58Speaker 1: I mean, I get you don't get to have oh,
- 7:00Speaker 1: but like maybe you could have one.
- 7:02Speaker 3: Let me ask you a question, though, If you could
- 7:04Speaker 3: have anyone as a sperm donor for your next child,
- 7:08Speaker 3: who would you pick?
- 7:10Speaker 2: Brad Pitt? Oh my god, that was we're trying to
- 7:14Speaker 2: steal my sperm doughor bit.
- 7:16Speaker 1: I was gonna say, Brad Pitt, listen, I feel like
- 7:20Speaker 1: me and Brad Pitt would make really smart beautiful just kidding.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Here's what we're gonna do. You have a kid with
- 7:34Speaker 1: Brad Pitt, and I'll I have a kid a Brad
- 7:35Speaker 1: pit and then we'll compare. But are we going to
- 7:38Speaker 1: compare who's cuter, who's smarter?
- 7:40Speaker 2: Both? Shit? I mean, do your kids look more like
- 7:45Speaker 2: you or Shane? Though? Well it depends because we have
- 7:48Speaker 2: three together, so I think Annabelle is a mix of
- 7:51Speaker 2: both of us. But then Luke looks just like Shane
- 7:53Speaker 2: and Keller looks just like me, and Keller is beautiful.
- 8:02Speaker 1: But I'm happy for her. I think that age gap
- 8:04Speaker 1: is pretty great when you have little ones. If you
- 8:07Speaker 1: have little ones together, it's perfect. I'm excited for her.
- 8:11Speaker 1: But I do always wonder about sperm donors how much
- 8:15Speaker 1: information I would need? Like and also, oh, this is
- 8:20Speaker 1: what I was originally going to say. Okay, yeah, here
- 8:23Speaker 1: it is here, it is back around all right? Do
- 8:26Speaker 1: you get to specify if you want somebody that's funny
- 8:30Speaker 1: and then who's making the decision if that person is
- 8:34Speaker 1: actually funny or not?
- 8:35Speaker 4: Like?
- 8:35Speaker 1: Are you just are you clicking off something like I'm hilarious.
- 8:39Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like you're just a checklist.
- 8:40Speaker 1: It says are you and it's like personable, yes, funny,
- 8:45Speaker 1: hell yeah I am.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Are you an introvert or an extrovert? Extrovert? Do people
- 8:51Speaker 2: like you? Yesk me all day long?
- 8:54Speaker 1: That's what I want to know. Who is there is
- 8:55Speaker 1: deciding factor in this? Like who is that person? Are
- 9:00Speaker 1: you just willing nelly?
- 9:03Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 9:04Speaker 3: Like you mean how intense is the vetting process? Like
- 9:08Speaker 3: are they going through several interviews where other people are
- 9:11Speaker 3: filling out the form like after an interview.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Like not funny, not personable?
- 9:16Speaker 1: Or are they just filling it out themselves like no
- 9:19Speaker 1: actual self realization because they said they were funny and
- 9:25Speaker 1: attractive and they're not. But also, is somebody checking their
- 9:29Speaker 1: So if somebody's like, yeah, I'm really smart, I you know,
- 9:32Speaker 1: blah blah blah, is somebody actually going back and checking
- 9:36Speaker 1: like yes they have this. I don't even know what
- 9:38Speaker 1: a smart GPA is, so I can't even tell you,
- 9:41Speaker 1: like a three point a GP, I'm assuming like people
- 9:44Speaker 1: tend to say that, or a four point zero GPA. Like,
- 9:48Speaker 1: but if somebody then like send me the paperwork, yeah,
- 9:51Speaker 1: like give us a copy of your transcripts and your
- 9:54Speaker 1: degree even though you're forty two years old, somebody as
- 9:59Speaker 1: we want to high school transcripts at this point, how
- 10:01Speaker 1: would one get it?
- 10:03Speaker 2: How would you get it? Well, I don't know. I'm
- 10:04Speaker 2: a lot older than you.
- 10:05Speaker 3: I graduated from high school nineteen ninety four, So I
- 10:08Speaker 3: feel like my transcripts are you know, disintegrated by now
- 10:12Speaker 3: in a box in.
- 10:13Speaker 1: A bar somewhere described they're in Braille. Yeah, they're like,
- 10:18Speaker 1: let me send the Pony Express send those.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Over to you.
- 10:23Speaker 1: But either way, congratulations. I'm excited for her, and she
- 10:28Speaker 1: also has, in my opinion, a very good episode tonight
- 10:35Speaker 1: taking a zimpic, but still need some guidance with your
- 10:38Speaker 1: meals and workouts, don't want to jump on the semi
- 10:41Speaker 1: glue tide train and looking for the best way to
- 10:43Speaker 1: get in shape. Either way, accountability can help, and that's

- 11:27Speaker 1: and use code popping off to be next.
- 11:34Speaker 3: Rachel Levis's case against Tom Sandable is weaker. I actually
- 11:38Speaker 3: had to read the entire mache and understand what the
- 11:41Speaker 3: headline even meant. So, Rachel, the headline is Rachel Levis's
- 11:46Speaker 3: case against Tom Sandable is weaker than Ariano Mattos Okay?
- 11:51Speaker 2: Is it US? I never know if it's US or
- 11:53Speaker 2: US Weekly?
- 11:54Speaker 1: You are lying, you know, don't you realize the camera
- 11:57Speaker 1: this week said she didn't know what Deadline News was,
- 12:00Speaker 1: and now you're saying you don't love it's US Weekly
- 12:03Speaker 1: or US.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Have you ever heard.
- 12:05Speaker 1: Somebody go to the airport and go, I'm going to
- 12:06Speaker 1: pick up a US Weekly?
- 12:08Speaker 2: No, it's US.
- 12:10Speaker 3: Where Why am I at the at the airport listening
- 12:13Speaker 3: to people ask for magazines?
- 12:16Speaker 1: Where else do people ask for magazines these days? I
- 12:18Speaker 1: don't know That's why I don't know what it's called,
- 12:21Speaker 1: because I've never heard it. I get everything from the
- 12:25Speaker 1: Instagram news, so I don't need to get US Weekly anymore.
- 12:29Speaker 3: All Right's confirmed on Thursday that Love Us sued Sandoval
- 12:33Speaker 3: and Maddox for revenge porn, eavesdropping, invasion of privacy, and
- 12:38Speaker 3: intentional infliction of emotional distress.
- 12:40Speaker 2: That's a lot of causes of action right there. That
- 12:42Speaker 2: is a lot. That's a lot.
- 12:44Speaker 1: The case against Tom is actually weaker than the case
- 12:47Speaker 1: against Ariana. Attorney Nima Ramani exclusively told US Weekly this
- 12:52Speaker 1: is why under California is a revenge porn statue. There
- 12:56Speaker 1: is a requirement that the porn be distributed. We know
- 12:59Speaker 1: that Tom was allegedly participating in this face time. Okay,
- 13:03Speaker 1: what's going on in the FaceTime? Okay, well they're masturbating
- 13:07Speaker 1: or she's masturbating, allegedly, so she has her phone out
- 13:11Speaker 1: on a FaceTime and then she's masked and he recorded it.
- 13:15Speaker 1: He screamed, he did that without her knowing allegedly. I
- 13:19Speaker 1: don't know if he was pleasuring himself as well. There's
- 13:22Speaker 1: been multiple different sides of this coming forward.
- 13:27Speaker 2: But have you ever done that? Just curious. Have recorded myself? No,
- 13:33Speaker 2: not recorded yourself? But have you ever lacerbated? Are you
- 13:36Speaker 2: just asking that?
- 13:37Speaker 1: I would hope you have, but no, have you ever
- 13:42Speaker 1: done a FaceTime and masturbated?
- 13:46Speaker 2: No? Well what I you have?
- 13:50Speaker 1: I have not, but this is such a disgusting story.
- 13:53Speaker 1: But I have to take you out and now Ione
- 13:55Speaker 1: will probably sue me for revenge.
- 13:57Speaker 2: More and sharing.
- 13:58Speaker 1: I don't know if that's a thing. But he was
- 14:01Speaker 1: out of town and he called me, Like, Edwin very
- 14:04Speaker 1: rarely gets drunk. I get drunk relatively often, but Edwin
- 14:09Speaker 1: is like not that type. He gets drunk, and so
- 14:12Speaker 1: he calls me. When he gets back to his room
- 14:15Speaker 1: and he decides he thinks it's time for show and tell.
- 14:19Speaker 1: So he starts doing his thing. But then he's so
- 14:23Speaker 1: eft out of his mind. Wait, this is through a FaceTime.
- 14:26Speaker 1: This is through a FaceTime. I recorded it. Great. So
- 14:33Speaker 1: he's like talking to me, and I'm like at this point,
- 14:36Speaker 1: I'm just like acting.
- 14:36Speaker 2: I'm like, yes, get it, get after it never.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Hotter, yeah, so turned on. Meanwhile I'm stone cold, Sobride
- 14:44Speaker 1: just with the kids to bed. He was like in
- 14:46Speaker 1: a different time zone, and then he masturbated onto the phone.
- 14:55Speaker 3: Oh, I can't believe you're telling the story. You're getting
- 14:58Speaker 3: divorced after this. I'm just letting you know.
- 15:04Speaker 2: I'm just letting you know. He's gonna file for divorce
- 15:06Speaker 2: after he hears this.
- 15:08Speaker 5: I'm like, absolutely, and listen, I understand there's oversharing. Last
- 15:13Speaker 5: week we talked about shooting ourselves. Today we're talking about this.
- 15:17Speaker 1: But then the point is, it's like normally when you
- 15:21Speaker 1: do bad things, you don't really want to talk about
- 15:23Speaker 1: it the next day. I don't worry this first thing
- 15:25Speaker 1: I did. When he called me the next morning, I
- 15:26Speaker 1: was like, remember last night when you came on your phone.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Yeah, it didn't ever work.
- 15:32Speaker 1: He was like, huh ah shit.
- 15:37Speaker 2: I hope he sanitized it.
- 15:40Speaker 1: I don't know. I've never used his phone since. But
- 15:42Speaker 1: the point is I didn't actually record it, but something
- 15:47Speaker 1: was happening like that they were record Tom was recording it.
- 15:51Speaker 1: I don't know if he was doing well. Then Arianna
- 15:56Speaker 1: saw it and that was the reason for their breakup. Right.
- 15:59Speaker 3: So Tom was allegedly participating in the spacetime and he
- 16:02Speaker 3: may have recorded it, but it's unclear whether he's sent
- 16:05Speaker 3: it to anyone. The allegations are that Ariana got access
- 16:08Speaker 3: to Tom's phone and sent it to herself and to Rachel,
- 16:12Speaker 3: So that would be the distribution part, which then goes
- 16:14Speaker 3: back to the headline why the case against Sandobal is
- 16:18Speaker 3: weaker than Arianna because she was actually Ariana, because she
- 16:21Speaker 3: was the one that actually distributed. Of course we don't
- 16:23Speaker 3: know who has the video and who it all.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Was sent to.
- 16:28Speaker 1: But in the law in the suing, what is it
- 16:32Speaker 1: called when you get sued? In the document it says
- 16:36Speaker 1: there was over fifty Jane does it was sent to?
- 16:40Speaker 2: Well, I think that's just because those are like placeholders
- 16:42Speaker 2: in case they find evidence that more people like it
- 16:45Speaker 2: was sent to, more than that they know of at
- 16:47Speaker 2: this point.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Well, from the beginning, even last season when this was
- 16:53Speaker 1: talked about, Ariana has always remained vigilant about the fact
- 16:58Speaker 1: she didn't share it with anybody.
- 17:01Speaker 2: She caught it, you know, they were at.
- 17:03Speaker 1: The concert, at Tom's concert, she got the phone, she
- 17:06Speaker 1: saw it, she flipped out, she called Rachel. She never
- 17:08Speaker 1: sent it to anyone, She never showed anybody. I do
- 17:11Speaker 1: think if there were snippets of it, it would have
- 17:13Speaker 1: ended up online. And the fact that it didn't leads
- 17:16Speaker 1: you know, I hate to give arian a shot on things,
- 17:19Speaker 1: but I really don't think she shared it with a
- 17:21Speaker 1: bunch of people because then I went back and watched
- 17:22Speaker 1: Jeff Lewis with Lala last year. She said she never
- 17:27Speaker 1: saw it. Shina said she never saw it, so at
- 17:31Speaker 1: this point, but she said it to herself, So she
- 17:34Speaker 1: sent it from his phone to herself. Right, we don't
- 17:36Speaker 1: have one hundred percent confirmation on that. We solely know
- 17:40Speaker 1: she saw it on Tom's phone. She's saying on this
- 17:44Speaker 1: podcast with Sheena that after that she was I saw
- 17:47Speaker 1: five seconds of five seconds of it.
- 17:49Speaker 2: I didn't need to see more.
- 17:53Speaker 1: And then I wonder if that was me and it
- 17:55Speaker 1: was somebody was cheating on me and there was a video,
- 17:59Speaker 1: Like would you watch the entire thing?
- 18:01Speaker 2: No, No, you.
- 18:04Speaker 1: Just watch enough to catch them. Yeah, but would you
- 18:08Speaker 1: send it to anybody?
- 18:10Speaker 2: Probably?
- 18:11Speaker 1: Yeah, me too. I probably would send it to like
- 18:14Speaker 1: my closest friends.
- 18:15Speaker 3: And be like, I feel like she had to send
- 18:16Speaker 3: it to someone. Your natural reaction would be to send
- 18:19Speaker 3: it to someone and be like, look what I just found.
- 18:21Speaker 1: Right, Yeah, Like I mean you're just sitting there with
- 18:23Speaker 1: what you saw on your own.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Yeah, she had to have sent it to someone.
- 18:30Speaker 1: But when it comes to revenge porn, do you think
- 18:33Speaker 1: even if Ariana did send it to a friend saying,
- 18:36Speaker 1: can you believe this is she guilty of a crime
- 18:39Speaker 1: or do you think Rachel is just using the legal
- 18:42Speaker 1: system as a retaliatory tactic rather than actually feeling like
- 18:46Speaker 1: Arianna has wronged her.
- 18:49Speaker 3: Well, here's the thing. If she was recorded doing something
- 18:52Speaker 3: sexual without her knowledge then and it got distributed to
- 18:55Speaker 3: other people, then I mean, I feel like that fulfills
- 18:59Speaker 3: the statute or revenge born. I'd be pissed. I mean
- 19:02Speaker 3: I would be pissed too.
- 19:03Speaker 1: But I also, unlike my husband, have never masturbated on
- 19:07Speaker 1: a FaceTime Yeah, I mean neither. But also I have
- 19:10Speaker 1: another question. Is it like snapchat? Where if you because
- 19:14Speaker 1: I feel like it did alert Edwin when I was
- 19:17Speaker 1: attempting to try to screen record it, but I didn't
- 19:20Speaker 1: know how because I'm not very good on the phone.
- 19:22Speaker 2: But you made it give him a notice? Yeah?
- 19:25Speaker 1: Did it give Rachel a notice when he went to
- 19:29Speaker 1: screen grab or record what was happening? Like, don't you
- 19:32Speaker 1: get a notice when that happens?
- 19:34Speaker 3: I don't know, because I don't think anyone's ever tried
- 19:36Speaker 3: to screen grab a FaceTime because I'm just not that interesting.
- 19:41Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean like I'm like, yeah, you're right, You're
- 19:45Speaker 1: not You're yeah, You're like no, I yeah, clearly, clearly.
- 19:51Speaker 1: But do you do you think this is similar to
- 19:54Speaker 1: the restraining order she got against Shena, Like remember she
- 19:57Speaker 1: filed one against Shena before the reunion that then ended
- 20:01Speaker 1: up getting dropped. Do you think she's doing this for
- 20:06Speaker 1: attention or do you think she's getting bad advice or
- 20:08Speaker 1: do you think she's really going to get a big.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Payout for this? You know, I don't know.
- 20:13Speaker 3: I think it's probably a little bit of everything. I
- 20:15Speaker 3: think she probably has. If the video was sent to people,
- 20:19Speaker 3: then she definitely has a good case. But again, I
- 20:23Speaker 3: think a lot of it's retaliatory too, where she's just
- 20:25Speaker 3: feeling like she's the victim and she wants to do
- 20:29Speaker 3: something to make it look like, you know, like she
- 20:34Speaker 3: was set up and she was a victim in all
- 20:35Speaker 3: of this.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Well, she did say on a recent episode of her
- 20:40Speaker 1: podcast that Tom would get upset if she didn't reach
- 20:44Speaker 1: out after a day or two, telling her she was
- 20:47Speaker 1: selfish and running away from her problems. When she was
- 20:49Speaker 1: staying at the medical facility, the metals that she left
- 20:53Speaker 1: him to deal with all the fodder, an overall discussion
- 20:57Speaker 1: of Tom being a terrible Rachel suing arianisqu we also
- 21:01Speaker 1: cannot forget that Rachel while spending a whole season lying
- 21:06Speaker 1: as well, asked Arianna about her sex life with Tom
- 21:10Speaker 1: on camera while she was actively sleeping with Tom.
- 21:15Speaker 2: Yeah, so I understand.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Everyone makes mistakes, but that's pretty like was that calculated though?
- 21:21Speaker 2: To throw people off the trail?
- 21:24Speaker 1: Regardless if I was having sex with Shane, I would
- 21:29Speaker 1: avoid the topic of sex with you, like I don't
- 21:32Speaker 1: need to talk about it with you. If I was
- 21:34Speaker 1: having sex with Shane, I wouldn't be like, so, how's
- 21:37Speaker 1: your sex life with Shane right now?
- 21:39Speaker 2: But maybe you just wanted to compare.
- 21:42Speaker 1: But either way, what do you think is going to
- 21:45Speaker 1: happen to this? Do you think it's going to get
- 21:47Speaker 1: dismissed or do you think someone's going to get in trouble?
- 21:49Speaker 2: I don't know. I think it depends on how many
- 21:51Speaker 2: people they can prove that it was sent to. It's
- 21:53Speaker 2: the distribution part well.
- 21:57Speaker 1: I think the fact that we never saw everything gets leaked,
- 22:00Speaker 1: and the fact that not a trace of this has
- 22:02Speaker 1: been leaked, leads me to believe it has not been shared. Yeah,
- 22:05Speaker 1: with too many people.
- 22:07Speaker 2: That is true. That is a good analysis.
- 22:10Speaker 1: Oh you know what, Emily, I love the compliments. Thank
- 22:13Speaker 1: you so much.
- 22:13Speaker 3: Well, I'm trying to be nice so that you know
- 22:16Speaker 3: I don't get myself in trouble again.
- 22:17Speaker 2: You look so pretty today.
- 22:19Speaker 1: Listen, Please don't and please don't lie because I have
- 22:23Speaker 1: stopping wet hair because I was trying to move the
- 22:25Speaker 1: podcast time, because I needed to get my hair colored
- 22:27Speaker 1: because the last time you made fun of my roots,
- 22:29Speaker 1: and then I didn't have time to get.
- 22:30Speaker 2: A blowout after, so I had to race home.
- 22:36Speaker 1: The next one is Brittany Cartwright says Jax Taylor needs
- 22:42Speaker 1: to change before reunion. There's been I would say between
- 22:45Speaker 1: the last maybe it started on Saturday, there's been like
- 22:50Speaker 1: five different reports. First it was that Brittany had moved
- 22:54Speaker 1: into a friend's place. Then Jax came forward and said
- 22:58Speaker 1: that wasn't actually true. They're fine, and then Britney removed
- 23:02Speaker 1: her you know Taylor from her last name.
- 23:05Speaker 2: We saw.
- 23:08Speaker 3: The car, the car of the car, Yeah, full of
- 23:12Speaker 3: lots of stuff.
- 23:13Speaker 1: The car is as bad as arian his bedroom.
- 23:16Speaker 2: I was going to say the same thing. Did Arianna
- 23:18Speaker 2: pack up that car for her?
- 23:20Speaker 3: Or maybe she says maybe she says, helping Ariana clean
- 23:24Speaker 3: her room.
- 23:26Speaker 5: I'm dead that I thought that the last name was Taylor,
- 23:29Speaker 5: but it's actually Pouchy or catch c au Chi.
- 23:34Speaker 1: But I just assumed it was Jack's Taylor. But now
- 23:37Speaker 1: she removed. Jack's real last name is the one she
- 23:40Speaker 1: removed from her Instagram, not his stage name. Oh as
- 23:44Speaker 1: a stage namer. Yeah, but she's She's saying that this
- 23:51Speaker 1: is definitely for her mental health, she noted on Friday,
- 23:54Speaker 1: denying it's a publicity stunt for the couple's upcoming reality show,
- 23:58Speaker 1: The Valley. She says, I think that's one of the
- 24:01Speaker 1: hardest parts right now, that people are speculating that I'm
- 24:04Speaker 1: doing something for the show coming out, because actually, no,
- 24:07Speaker 1: whenever you fight with somebody for so long, there's only
- 24:10Speaker 1: so much you can take. And I deserve better, and
- 24:12Speaker 1: Cruise deserves better by this messaging and the fact that
- 24:17Speaker 1: thou who protests too much as Jack saying this is
- 24:21Speaker 1: not over, this is not done, this is right. I
- 24:25Speaker 1: my guess is she caught him slipping?
- 24:29Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I'm sure absolutely, And what do you mean
- 24:32Speaker 3: by slipping, like his penis slipped.
- 24:36Speaker 1: Into somewhere else. I don't think his penis was slipping
- 24:41Speaker 1: into the girl whose photo they keep showing because that's
- 24:44Speaker 1: his publicist.
- 24:45Speaker 2: Where they're like, was Jack's on this secret?
- 24:47Speaker 4: Right?
- 24:48Speaker 1: Right? Right? I don't think it was her, but something
- 24:52Speaker 1: happened after that trip, But I don't know. There's also
- 24:59Speaker 1: will it help people tune into the Valley? I don't know.
- 25:02Speaker 1: I don't know that I would watch The Valley if
- 25:04Speaker 1: I wasn't getting paid to watch The Valley.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Yeah, so you're not interested in watching it, are you? Uh?
- 25:12Speaker 1: No?
- 25:12Speaker 2: I mean I don't know.
- 25:13Speaker 3: Maybe I always say that I don't like to watch stuff,
- 25:16Speaker 3: but then when I start watching it, then I kind
- 25:18Speaker 3: of get sucked into it.
- 25:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I know.
- 25:21Speaker 1: It's like me with Love is Blind. Right now, I'm
- 25:24Speaker 1: very invested.
- 25:25Speaker 2: Okay, I started. I started watching that the other night.
- 25:31Speaker 1: And do you think and I know that we're not
- 25:33Speaker 1: talking about Love is Blind, but I have a question.
- 25:35Speaker 1: Do you think you would have fallen in love with
- 25:36Speaker 1: Shane had you only heard his voice?
- 25:39Speaker 2: Yes?
- 25:40Speaker 3: Because he has a great voice, and he's funny, and
- 25:43Speaker 3: I like people that are funny, like sarcasm, witty sarcasm.
- 25:47Speaker 2: I'm attracted to that.
- 25:49Speaker 1: How many days in a pod? Do you think it
- 25:51Speaker 1: would take him to make you fall in love with him?
- 25:54Speaker 1: Or do you think who do you think would have
- 25:55Speaker 1: fallen in love first?
- 25:57Speaker 2: Oh, me with him or him with me? Yeah? Yeah,
- 26:02Speaker 2: I don't know. Probably probably him with me because I'm extraordinary.
- 26:10Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 26:14Speaker 1: The interesting part about Love is Blind, which is what
- 26:17Speaker 1: I really like, is once they come out of the
- 26:19Speaker 1: pods and you see how much they cannot stand one another,
- 26:24Speaker 1: you to believe is love actually love can see?
- 26:29Speaker 2: Yes, love is not blind.
- 26:30Speaker 1: Love.
- 26:31Speaker 2: Love has twenty twenty vision and contact.
- 26:34Speaker 1: And ly six, I can do all the things.
- 26:39Speaker 2: Oh my gosh. All right, I guess we have to
- 26:41Speaker 2: get off Love is Blind.
- 26:42Speaker 1: But let's take a little break and we'll come back
- 26:44Speaker 1: and talk about episode six. Okay, so we're about to
- 26:56Speaker 1: talk about episode six. But while I was on my
- 26:58Speaker 1: restroom break washing my hands, I was thinking about something. Yeah,
- 27:03Speaker 1: do you think that the face time when if somebody
- 27:07Speaker 1: was going to send a FaceTime as a as a
- 27:10Speaker 1: female pleasuring themselves. Yeah, are they showing their face or
- 27:15Speaker 1: are they showing their privates? Or do they have like
- 27:18Speaker 1: a holder like, how do I.
- 27:21Speaker 2: Have like logistically, how does it work? Yes, I don't know.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Maybe it shouldn't be FaceTime, it should be like vagina time.
- 27:29Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 27:30Speaker 1: It's like I just I'm really trying to wrap my
- 27:33Speaker 1: head around what like do you have to squench your body?
- 27:37Speaker 2: I don't know what.
- 27:37Speaker 1: I feel like that's a lot of work, Like you
- 27:41Speaker 1: would have to get like your your phone and put
- 27:44Speaker 1: it in your iPhone holder with maybe like a ring light,
- 27:48Speaker 1: and then you.
- 27:49Speaker 2: Know, I don't want to see my privates with a
- 27:52Speaker 2: ring light.
- 27:52Speaker 1: I'm good.
- 27:54Speaker 3: I just if someone's face timing while they're doing that,
- 27:59Speaker 3: that they need good light so that the other person,
- 28:01Speaker 3: you know, gets a good view.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Like I think they just a jet in a glam well.
- 28:06Speaker 1: I mean, would you shave or something before you did that.
- 28:10Speaker 1: You would make sure he's lazered, You would make sure it's.
- 28:14Speaker 3: Nice and trim down there before you just put it
- 28:17Speaker 3: out there on a FaceTime call.
- 28:19Speaker 1: But I would think that it would be sexier to
- 28:21Speaker 1: see somebody's face like making the noises talking than like
- 28:25Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 28:26Speaker 3: Then you mean like it's a literal FaceTime, but you
- 28:29Speaker 3: just can't see.
- 28:30Speaker 2: What's going on. Below. Yeah, you just know what's happening.
- 28:33Speaker 1: You're using your imagination to guess what's happening below.
- 28:37Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, okay, we'll go with that. Well, okay, if
- 28:41Speaker 2: you disagree, then just say it. I gave my whole
- 28:44Speaker 2: relight scenario, but it wasn't enough for me. No, I
- 28:48Speaker 2: got it. Okay.
- 28:50Speaker 1: So it's day two in Tahoe. Everyone's slowly waking up.
- 28:54Speaker 1: When James yells about needing his special chocolates, which I was, like,
- 28:58Speaker 1: the mushroom ones or what about the special ones, the
- 29:03Speaker 1: special chocolates. Sandoval is writing in his journal. He writes
- 29:07Speaker 1: a lot in his journal.
- 29:09Speaker 3: He does you know what I was thinking? I was like,
- 29:12Speaker 3: was that his idea to write in the journal? Or
- 29:15Speaker 3: or was it like, hey, you should write in a journal?
- 29:17Speaker 3: Like was he trying to look sensitive? I think Rachel
- 29:21Speaker 3: told him he should be journaling, and so he was
- 29:24Speaker 3: journaling because someone told him to journal.
- 29:27Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 29:27Speaker 3: I felt like it was like a ploy to make
- 29:29Speaker 3: him look like he was deep and sensitive.
- 29:31Speaker 2: Well, yes, I would assume it was to a superficial narcissist.
- 29:36Speaker 5: Yeah, you know, like the rest of us, right, But
- 29:40Speaker 5: I do think Rachel was probably at this point, there's
- 29:44Speaker 5: still in communication at you know, she's calling him from
- 29:47Speaker 5: you know, on the landline from.
- 29:49Speaker 1: The meadows, and she's saying, I'm doing all this work
- 29:52Speaker 1: on myself. He's upset, saying you're selfish, and she says, well,
- 29:56Speaker 1: if you really want to do this, you should stop drinking,
- 29:58Speaker 1: and you should be journaling, and he should be doing
- 30:00Speaker 1: all these things. So he's making sure in case she
- 30:03Speaker 1: ever comes back, there is tape of him journey right.
- 30:08Speaker 1: But then Sandoval states that yesterday was one of the
- 30:12Speaker 1: craziest filming experience he's ever had since being on the show.
- 30:15Speaker 1: He writes about Shena inviting him over to the table
- 30:18Speaker 1: at the airport. He says Seas only gotten one hour
- 30:20Speaker 1: of sleep the night before, making him extra emotional the
- 30:24Speaker 1: entire day. He also says his talk with James could
- 30:27Speaker 1: have gone better, but it was productive.
- 30:30Speaker 3: How is his craziest filming experience That Sena invited him
- 30:34Speaker 3: over to a table at the airport.
- 30:37Speaker 1: Maybe because he thought they were never going to be
- 30:39Speaker 1: friends again. But like I'm imagining, like the blurred out
- 30:44Speaker 1: parts are like Tom doodling, like Rachel Sandoval, with like
- 30:48Speaker 1: lightning bolts everywhere like what's actually freaking happening?
- 30:52Speaker 2: Like why did they need to blur stuff out? I
- 30:55Speaker 2: don't know.
- 30:56Speaker 3: Maybe they just blurted out to make you think that
- 30:58Speaker 3: there's something interesting on that, but there's actually nothing there.
- 31:01Speaker 1: But like I have messy, terrible, big handwriting, and he's
- 31:05Speaker 1: got like beautiful penmanship. I mean, I guess that's a
- 31:08Speaker 1: quality I could look for in a partner.
- 31:11Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that's important.
- 31:13Speaker 1: So when he writes love notes, it's very pretty, so
- 31:18Speaker 1: like he can touch the lamp send a note that
- 31:20Speaker 1: he's been writing in his journal. Then Lala and she
- 31:23Speaker 1: and are laying in bed talking about their trip so far.
- 31:26Speaker 1: Shena texted Ariana yesterday, telling her how everything's been very
- 31:30Speaker 1: surface level and there's been no big fights yet. Both
- 31:34Speaker 1: Lala and Sena emphasized if this were either of their trips,
- 31:37Speaker 1: Sandoval wouldn't have been invited. Then, Sheena reminds Lalla of
- 31:42Speaker 1: the time with Sandoval. This was a big thing for me,
- 31:45Speaker 1: Santoval I sat so Sonny during the pandemic because she
- 31:48Speaker 1: had no income. She starts crying and says the line
- 31:52Speaker 1: I'm not saying come over for dinner and let me
- 31:54Speaker 1: paint your tonyas white. But despite her sadness, when it
- 32:00Speaker 1: comes to her broken friendship with Santavala, Shina Tellsala she
- 32:03Speaker 1: doesn't feel tormed.
- 32:04Speaker 2: She's team Ariana.
- 32:06Speaker 1: Until she dies. I don't know that you can say
- 32:08Speaker 1: that because I already feel like the shift of your
- 32:11Speaker 1: no longer team Mariana because you're pissed off about Dancing
- 32:14Speaker 1: with the Stars.
- 32:16Speaker 3: Yeah, but you know what, Also, I think, how do
- 32:18Speaker 3: you say that someone sent you money during the pandemic
- 32:22Speaker 3: without you asking for it, and thousands of dollars showed
- 32:25Speaker 3: up in your account and the fact that he never
- 32:28Speaker 3: brought it up on camera, not the camera, and he
- 32:32Speaker 3: could have to make himself look bad better or have
- 32:35Speaker 3: some redeeming qualities and he never did. So I don't know.
- 32:38Speaker 3: In that moment, I was like, how do you say
- 32:40Speaker 3: that and then say your team Ariana? Like that doesn't
- 32:43Speaker 3: make sense to me? Well, like you should just be
- 32:46Speaker 3: team no team, no team your team?
- 32:50Speaker 1: Who's ever the you know the better friend to you?
- 32:54Speaker 1: But I since seeing this episode, I have sent tom My, Zelle,
- 32:58Speaker 1: My Venmo.
- 32:59Speaker 2: My Pap.
- 33:00Speaker 1: I can't have you gotten any have you gotten anything
- 33:03Speaker 1: any deposits?
- 33:05Speaker 4: No?
- 33:05Speaker 1: I'm happy to accept them at any point that he's fit, like,
- 33:09Speaker 1: because I do. I'm willing to accept the money and listen,
- 33:13Speaker 1: you know, I'll be team Tom all the way. If
- 33:16Speaker 1: he wants to marry me, moneybeat.
- 33:19Speaker 2: Team Tom until you die.
- 33:20Speaker 1: I'll be until I die or until Vana plumb Rules
- 33:24Speaker 1: is over and I'm onto the Valley, whichever comes first.
- 33:30Speaker 1: But then we get Ariana doing a photoshoot for her
- 33:33Speaker 1: new cocktail book. Unlike the last one, which featured Sandoval,
- 33:38Speaker 1: this one is all her.
- 33:40Speaker 2: Arianna doesn't think Tom believes she could do anything on
- 33:43Speaker 2: her own. She calls this book her breakup album, being
- 33:46Speaker 2: inspired by Alanis Morrisset, Kelly Clarkson, and Beyonce. The title
- 33:52Speaker 2: of the book is single af Cocktails Drinks for Bad
- 33:56Speaker 2: Bitches by Arianna Maddox. I also want to point out
- 34:00Speaker 2: that Alanis morrisa breakup anthem was about Dave Coolier from
- 34:09Speaker 2: Full House? Was it the Funny Guy? Yeah?
- 34:15Speaker 1: Yes, wow, Okay, yeah, I think I do that Arianna's
- 34:19Speaker 1: ability to monetize Sandoval should actually be studied in colleges everywhere.
- 34:25Speaker 2: At this point, Yeah, she excels at that. It's like, Hey,
- 34:29Speaker 2: we did a book together.
- 34:30Speaker 3: I'm going to do it on my own this time,
- 34:33Speaker 3: like it's not even genius ideas yet here we are.
- 34:36Speaker 1: And now it makes me annoyed that I haven't because
- 34:39Speaker 1: I was sent both of those books. You probably were
- 34:42Speaker 1: as well. I'm gonna anoy that. Oh you weren't.
- 34:45Speaker 2: Oh nothing? Yeah no, sorry? Where you sent to Tom
- 34:49Speaker 2: and Tom Candle? No? Nothing, oh no.
- 34:56Speaker 1: But I'm wondering. I didn't there was story time in
- 35:01Speaker 1: the cocktail books. I thought it was like a recipe
- 35:04Speaker 1: book for cocktails.
- 35:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know. Is there story time in there?
- 35:09Speaker 1: So?
- 35:09Speaker 2: What is it? It's some drinks but also some detailed
- 35:12Speaker 2: stories of what their relationship.
- 35:14Speaker 1: I guess because she like kind of lays out, broke
- 35:17Speaker 1: it out all right into the different checks like I'm
- 35:20Speaker 1: happy for you, the love, the blood, the betrayal, all
- 35:25Speaker 1: the things. Now I'm like, okay, Ariana, once again, very
- 35:29Speaker 1: smart because that book that I got three months ago,
- 35:31Speaker 1: I am now going to open it and start to
- 35:34Speaker 1: look because let's be honest, I'm never going to learn
- 35:36Speaker 1: how to make a cocktail. No really, but if there's
- 35:40Speaker 1: going to be story time, I'm interested.
- 35:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:43Speaker 1: How did you feel about Shannon? The Meditation instructor. I actually,
- 35:48Speaker 1: Shannon the meditation instructor didn't bother me. I actually liked her,
- 35:51Speaker 1: and I liked how she made them sit back to back.
- 35:53Speaker 1: I thought that was smart.
- 35:55Speaker 2: No, who didn't like that? She didn't like that.
- 35:59Speaker 1: She didn't like that.
- 36:00Speaker 2: She also, she know, was so fucking pissed that Brock
- 36:03Speaker 2: was late. She couldn't even see straight. I know he's
- 36:08Speaker 2: a lot. I've just come over from the ateenth hole.
- 36:11Speaker 1: Also, when she woke up and said that she thought
- 36:14Speaker 1: that he went golfing. I thought he went golfing with
- 36:16Speaker 1: one of the other guys in the house. And then
- 36:18Speaker 1: all I'm like, lo and behold their shorts and Sandoval
- 36:21Speaker 1: and like they're all there. So he went like golfing
- 36:25Speaker 1: with other people and then didn't make it back in
- 36:27Speaker 1: time to film, and she was like no, no, and
- 36:31Speaker 1: then she had to step back to back with Sandoval.
- 36:33Speaker 2: She was not having a good day at all. She wasn't.
- 36:36Speaker 1: And then she tried to get Brock to come over
- 36:40Speaker 1: to do back to back on a few he wasn't,
- 36:44Speaker 1: and he was probably because he knew he was going
- 36:46Speaker 1: to get his ass. She's like, I'm going to stay
- 36:49Speaker 1: way over here, way over here and listen, we love
- 36:52Speaker 1: our guys shorts.
- 36:54Speaker 2: But his dirty feet really made me anxious.
- 36:57Speaker 1: Why I checked? Not one other person had dirty feet? No, no,
- 37:01Speaker 1: I didn't. I didn't even notice the dirty feet. Do
- 37:04Speaker 1: you let me see your foot? No? I I have
- 37:06Speaker 1: Toto shoes on. There's no dirty feet here, look okay,
- 37:10Speaker 1: all right, yeah, all right. Well that's good for you
- 37:13Speaker 1: that you have sneakers on, because who knows what would
- 37:15Speaker 1: be underneath that.
- 37:16Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't have socks on. So, but
- 37:18Speaker 2: it gets very chaotic.
- 37:20Speaker 1: During the meditation, the instructor asks everyone to relax and
- 37:24Speaker 1: play a movie of their life. We get like, very
- 37:28Speaker 1: like chaotic flashbacks of Sandoval's last few months with Arianna
- 37:32Speaker 1: and the friend group. And then this is the real doozy.
- 37:36Speaker 1: The instructor tells everyone to go back with the person
- 37:38Speaker 1: that they're sitting back to back with and imagine them
- 37:43Speaker 1: never seeing the person again.
- 37:47Speaker 2: That made me sad. I got a little teary eyed.
- 37:50Speaker 1: So did Tom.
- 37:52Speaker 2: Yeah, I get it.
- 37:54Speaker 1: So now you've seen Shane cry three times in fifteen years,
- 37:57Speaker 1: and we've seen Tom cry fifteen time and three episodes.
- 38:03Speaker 1: Sounds about right, But what did you think about Sheena
- 38:08Speaker 1: getting up. She's super emotional. There's lots of back and forth. Okay,
- 38:14Speaker 1: here's what I think. I think she's struggling because I
- 38:17Speaker 1: think she wants to be okay with Tom. I think
- 38:19Speaker 1: that she would like to make up with him and
- 38:22Speaker 1: move forward. But I think she's it's difficult because then
- 38:27Speaker 1: she knows that if she does that, then Arianna is
- 38:30Speaker 1: like everybody who's who's okay with Tom is dead to Ariana.
- 38:33Speaker 1: So I think she's trying to navigate. She cares about Ariana,
- 38:39Speaker 1: or she cares about what social media and out. Because
- 38:43Speaker 1: once I saw the amount of times that she was
- 38:45Speaker 1: looking up the picture where.
- 38:47Speaker 2: She had her arms around Tom and everybody was coming
- 38:50Speaker 2: for her.
- 38:50Speaker 1: I think that she I listen, I'm biased because I
- 38:54Speaker 1: like she and I like hanging out with her. I've
- 38:55Speaker 1: always had a wonderful time with her. I don't think
- 38:58Speaker 1: she's a bad person, but I think on this show
- 39:01Speaker 1: she gets a lot of heat for straddling the fence
- 39:04Speaker 1: or whatever they like to say it. You know, she's
- 39:06Speaker 1: always a flip flopper or whatever it may be, and
- 39:10Speaker 1: she doesn't want that again this year.
- 39:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 39:13Speaker 3: No, I think she's genuinely concerned about the backlash from public,
- 39:17Speaker 3: from the social media mob. So I feel like she's
- 39:19Speaker 3: afraid to move forward with Sandibal because then she's going
- 39:23Speaker 3: to not only piss off Ariana, but also piss off
- 39:25Speaker 3: the public because I'm sure when they started filming there
- 39:28Speaker 3: was such a backlash against Tom and everybody was so
- 39:32Speaker 3: supportive of Ariana that that's where everybody's mentally at.
- 39:36Speaker 1: But my other question is, whenever you see, you know,
- 39:39Speaker 1: we watch Ariana and Katie not actually interviewing the people
- 39:43Speaker 1: for the sandwich shop with the other lady doing it,
- 39:46Speaker 1: but then they talked to she on the phone, it
- 39:49Speaker 1: doesn't really appear to me that they like Shena.
- 39:53Speaker 3: I agree, And the way that they look at each
- 39:56Speaker 3: other and like side eye each other and you know,
- 39:58Speaker 3: kind of like roll their eyes she's talking, they're just like,
- 40:04Speaker 3: you know, I'm like, I think she Nie says, make
- 40:07Speaker 3: up with Tom and move on.
- 40:08Speaker 1: Yeah, just make up with Tom, because I don't think.
- 40:13Speaker 1: I don't know. I guess we haven't watched from the beginning,
- 40:16Speaker 1: but there doesn't seem to be a ton of love
- 40:18Speaker 1: from Ariana to Shina. And I know that Katie used
- 40:23Speaker 1: to hate Shena well, I don't.
- 40:25Speaker 3: Know if you used to is the correct word, because
- 40:27Speaker 3: the way they sia each other, I feel like it's
- 40:29Speaker 3: currently Yeah, it might be in present for.
- 40:34Speaker 2: Him, but somehow they get through the meditation.
- 40:38Speaker 1: But then they go on, they decide the Tahoe group
- 40:42Speaker 1: takes a ride on some gondolas. Sandoval, Schwartz, and Brock
- 40:47Speaker 1: are in one together while the rest of the group
- 40:50Speaker 1: or in another. Sandoval once again defends his action, saying
- 40:55Speaker 1: he and Rachel never did anything to intentionally hurt Anyone
- 41:00Speaker 1: points out that Santoval's team tried to lie about Brock
- 41:03Speaker 1: hooking up with Rachel during the height of scandival to
- 41:06Speaker 1: take some of the heat off of him.
- 41:07Speaker 2: Do we believe this?
- 41:11Speaker 1: Which part the part where for a while it was
- 41:16Speaker 1: like implied that Brock was also had hooked up with
- 41:20Speaker 1: Rachel because Rachel just goes in trying to steal everybody's boyfriends.
- 41:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know about that, so Brock did. He
- 41:28Speaker 2: didn't actually hook up.
- 41:29Speaker 1: No, but Brock was telling Tom, Hey, because of this,
- 41:36Speaker 1: your team started planting stories about me, So yeah, I
- 41:40Speaker 1: also could have hooked up with Rachel.
- 41:42Speaker 3: Yeah, And then Tom said, no way, his team did that.
- 41:45Speaker 3: That's absolutely untrue. What never happened.
- 41:48Speaker 1: I've met Tom's team. I'm not sure they're listen. I
- 41:51Speaker 1: love Tom's team, very nice gentlemen. You saw them at
- 41:54Speaker 1: Tom's birthday. I'm not sure they're savvy enough to make
- 41:58Speaker 1: that story. Just sit around and calculate that story and
- 42:03Speaker 1: then put it out there. Sorry. I think that story
- 42:08Speaker 1: born because Sheena made a big deal last year saying
- 42:13Speaker 1: I would trust Rachel laying in bed with Brock and
- 42:18Speaker 1: not worry about it, And so I think that's how
- 42:21Speaker 1: the story started, not because Tom's team was like.
- 42:23Speaker 2: Hey, hey, deflection over here.
- 42:35Speaker 1: Getting back to Katie and Arianna hiring.
- 42:41Speaker 2: This was last July. Where are they? Where are they working?
- 42:48Speaker 3: I don't know, But you know what, it's hard to
- 42:49Speaker 3: watch that scene knowing that they still aren't open. Yeah,
- 42:54Speaker 3: I mean, and then they were like complaining about how
- 42:57Speaker 3: the woman took over Enny many steps. They're so mad
- 43:01Speaker 3: at Penny. But then I'm like, but when Penny was
- 43:03Speaker 3: done asking questions, that would be your opportunity to also
- 43:07Speaker 3: ask questions. But they're just like, bye, nice to meet you, Yeah,
- 43:11Speaker 3: bye bye.
- 43:12Speaker 1: They're two booked up being pissed at Penny and Sheena,
- 43:16Speaker 1: and that they're not on the Tahoe trip, and that
- 43:18Speaker 1: this is the one thing they're filming, hiring people from
- 43:21Speaker 1: a business that's still not open. Like it's it's rough.
- 43:24Speaker 1: It's rough going out there, and I like those girls.
- 43:26Speaker 1: It's just. But also things I need to know. Is
- 43:30Speaker 1: Penny still on the payroll? I want to know are
- 43:34Speaker 1: they are they paying rent? Are they still currently paying rent?
- 43:38Speaker 1: Have they been paying rent this entire time? And does
- 43:40Speaker 1: the big deal tie work there? Is he just making
- 43:47Speaker 1: the big bill time? Is he just making salami sandwiches
- 43:51Speaker 1: on his downtime just in case, like preparing himself.
- 43:54Speaker 5: He's like, screw you four seasons, there's a t I
- 43:58Speaker 5: might get a shot and to say which shop.
- 44:02Speaker 1: So let's hope he didn't put in his letter of
- 44:05Speaker 1: resignation right after that interview, because otherwise he screwed Santam's
- 44:10Speaker 1: gonna have to send him paypals too. Yep, poor guy.
- 44:15Speaker 1: Then they're on the boat. Things are starting to come unraveled.
- 44:19Speaker 1: Half the boat being drunk and the other half being
- 44:21Speaker 1: sober is a little bit rough. It's rough going the
- 44:25Speaker 1: fact that they're needing to do shots of oxygen just
- 44:30Speaker 1: to get the through it, tequila, I need oxygen. I
- 44:35Speaker 1: thought it was a whipp it. At first, I was like,
- 44:37Speaker 1: they're showing this.
- 44:38Speaker 2: I did too, because he's like, that's some good stuff.
- 44:41Speaker 1: I was like, And then I was like, oh, that
- 44:46Speaker 1: isn't whipped cream, that's just oxygen.
- 44:49Speaker 2: Take from this oxygen.
- 44:51Speaker 1: But Sina starts to cry and admit she can't keep
- 44:55Speaker 1: hating Tom for Ariana. Katie and Ariana aren't remorseful at all.
- 45:02Speaker 1: If I had a tear for every time she cried
- 45:04Speaker 1: this episode in regards to Sandoval, I'd be rich enough
- 45:10Speaker 1: not to do this pod anymore.
- 45:12Speaker 2: You could just resign.
- 45:14Speaker 1: I was right now, I'm done, bye bye. And then
- 45:21Speaker 1: we've got what about James Hard launching the return of
- 45:26Speaker 1: Hippie or Graham or whatever his name is by posting
- 45:29Speaker 1: the photo on the boat and Ali panicking because she's like,
- 45:32Speaker 1: this means it's real. Yeah, now we've made it official.
- 45:36Speaker 1: The next dog that how'd you feel about Shorts hitting
- 45:44Speaker 1: on the boat attendee.
- 45:47Speaker 3: I've founded amusing. I felt like she's forced into being nice, though,
- 45:51Speaker 3: because if you're hitting on someone on camera, like I
- 45:55Speaker 3: feel like they are kind of forced to go along
- 45:58Speaker 3: with it. Well, clearly she didn't feel two forced because
- 46:01Speaker 3: we never saw her back at the house for the
- 46:02Speaker 3: cookoff later.
- 46:04Speaker 2: You know, that's hard, that's true. She was being nice though.
- 46:08Speaker 1: She was like, oh yeah, okay, She's like sure, yeah,
- 46:12Speaker 1: whatever good?
- 46:13Speaker 3: Did you wash your feet in the ocean? I was, yeah,
- 46:17Speaker 3: maybe it's some dirty feet. That was a turnoff.
- 46:22Speaker 1: Then we get to this is the I think that
- 46:24Speaker 1: probably the best part of the episode, where Santaval and
- 46:28Speaker 1: La La start to really get into it. Lah has
- 46:30Speaker 1: kind of been taking a back seat, but she essentially
- 46:35Speaker 1: wants an apology from Tom because Tom has always had
- 46:40Speaker 1: an issue with things that Lala has done, and he's
- 46:44Speaker 1: saying that she needs to be honest about her life.
- 46:48Speaker 1: But even when saying this, he was currently having an
- 46:51Speaker 1: affair with Rachel, Right.
- 46:56Speaker 2: What are your thoughts on?
- 46:57Speaker 1: Like I when I watched these shows and when I
- 47:01Speaker 1: you know, when I talk to you, I think sometimes
- 47:03Speaker 1: we can all be hypocrites.
- 47:05Speaker 3: I mean, I think he was that he was a hypocrite,
- 47:07Speaker 3: But I think I think she made a good point
- 47:10Speaker 3: and it made sense when she was talking about it,
- 47:12Speaker 3: and I could tell that all she wanted was a
- 47:14Speaker 3: recognition that he was hypocritical. And that he made a
- 47:17Speaker 3: confident about her not being real while he's having an
- 47:20Speaker 3: affair with someone in their friend group. I feel like
- 47:23Speaker 3: that was an opportunity for him to just show a
- 47:25Speaker 3: little vulnerability in some humanity and say, you're absolutely right,
- 47:28Speaker 3: that was totally out of line.
- 47:30Speaker 2: I was lying, I.
- 47:31Speaker 3: Was being deceitful, I was trying to deflect and right,
- 47:34Speaker 3: and I shouldn't have done that, and now I see it.
- 47:37Speaker 3: But instead he just he just goes into her, and
- 47:41Speaker 3: that's why he pisses people off, and that's why you
- 47:43Speaker 3: can only like him for a limited amount of time
- 47:45Speaker 3: and you feel badly for him, but it's only in
- 47:48Speaker 3: short spurts because then he says really dumb stuff again,
- 47:51Speaker 3: and then you're back at square one again.
- 47:54Speaker 1: If what I feel like when you watch him, if
- 47:56Speaker 1: you start having conversations with him and everything is sold
- 48:00Speaker 1: and kind and you're not accusatory, he can handle it.
- 48:03Speaker 1: But the second you start to put any blame on
- 48:06Speaker 1: him and he isn't choosing it to do it himself
- 48:08Speaker 1: to start, he blows yeah, and like it's I mean
- 48:14Speaker 1: the fact that even he talks about La La in
- 48:17Speaker 1: an article the day he and Rachel got caught. He
- 48:19Speaker 1: even corrected her and said, oh, it was the day before,
- 48:22Speaker 1: it was the day of, Like, how could you even do.
- 48:26Speaker 2: That to me?
- 48:27Speaker 1: And then Sandoval tries defending himself, saying he kept a
- 48:30Speaker 1: seven month relationship private, why Lala kept her six year
- 48:34Speaker 1: relationship quiet for a few years.
- 48:38Speaker 2: I mean, they get into a screaming fight.
- 48:40Speaker 1: It doesn't appear that he really starts to understand what
- 48:42Speaker 1: Laala saying at all until Sheina gets involved.
- 48:46Speaker 3: Yeah, well she has to break it down. I mean,
- 48:49Speaker 3: I guess he didn't understand what Lala was saying from
- 48:51Speaker 3: the get go, and I think maybe that's why he
- 48:53Speaker 3: got heated. I guess I can maybe change too much.
- 48:57Speaker 3: Maybe he needs the lay off the oxygen. Yeah, it's
- 49:00Speaker 3: like sometimes I have too much oxygen.
- 49:02Speaker 2: I'm like what.
- 49:04Speaker 1: I mean, I guess, But he did do the same
- 49:06Speaker 1: to James at the party. He doesn't he is so
- 49:09Speaker 1: stuck in living in the world of the show that
- 49:12Speaker 1: he can't also like compartmentalize and say, yes, this did
- 49:16Speaker 1: happen at one point in our relationship, with our friendships,
- 49:19Speaker 1: this is what I recently did, right.
- 49:21Speaker 3: So you're saying it at his birthday party when James
- 49:23Speaker 3: came and was talking to him and he's like, but you,
- 49:26Speaker 3: So he turns it around.
- 49:28Speaker 1: You hooked up with Kristen eleven years ago or whatever?
- 49:31Speaker 1: It was, right right, Like, there's always that. But I
- 49:35Speaker 1: think that when you do something shitty, that tends to
- 49:38Speaker 1: be what you want to do. You want to find
- 49:40Speaker 1: other people that did shitty things.
- 49:42Speaker 3: Yeah, and then you want to bring up the shitty
- 49:43Speaker 3: things that they did and throw it out there to
- 49:45Speaker 3: deflect from the shitty thing.
- 49:46Speaker 2: That you did.
- 49:47Speaker 3: But I guess it comes down to whoever did the
- 49:49Speaker 3: shittiest thing currently they just have to deal with that. Yeah,
- 49:53Speaker 3: we've already worked through the shitty things you guys have
- 49:56Speaker 3: done in years past. We're on this great thing, right, well,
- 49:59Speaker 3: your shitty thing.
- 50:01Speaker 1: Yeah, but then we get they seem to have like
- 50:05Speaker 1: kind of a breakthrough. They seem fine. She does call
- 50:10Speaker 1: sand of all scary, saying he doesn't take accountability. She
- 50:15Speaker 1: starts to see like patterns that she's not comfortable with.
- 50:21Speaker 1: But then we're back to Sena having another mental breakdown
- 50:26Speaker 1: about the picture she took with the fan.
- 50:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 50:29Speaker 3: You know, I feel like, because I've been there too,
- 50:34Speaker 3: and I'm sure you have too, you can't help the
- 50:36Speaker 3: social media mob. Like whatever someone thinks at some point,
- 50:40Speaker 3: there's nothing you could do about it. The only thing
- 50:42Speaker 3: you can do. Shane always says, you need to just
- 50:44Speaker 3: put your phone down and give it seventy two hours
- 50:46Speaker 3: and then they move on to something else. You can't,
- 50:49Speaker 3: you can't mentally just get into it and read all
- 50:52Speaker 3: the comments and cry over it because it is what
- 50:54Speaker 3: it is. And when you put yourself out there, when
- 50:56Speaker 3: you're on a reality show, when you're out taking pictures
- 50:59Speaker 3: with fans, it happens.
- 51:01Speaker 2: It happens to all of us.
- 51:03Speaker 1: Well. I feel like if I were to read my mentions,
- 51:10Speaker 1: I would also be in the meadows. Maybe you should
- 51:14Speaker 1: read them so that she feels better, Like I'd be like, sorry, Emle,
- 51:20Speaker 1: I'm gonna be going months, so you're gonna go and
- 51:23Speaker 1: hang out with Rachel or you gonna have to do
- 51:25Speaker 1: somewhere you have together. You cannot go to my mentions
- 51:28Speaker 1: like I can't know way and like, especially on a
- 51:32Speaker 1: trip on camera all the things, you don't go to
- 51:35Speaker 1: the mentions.
- 51:37Speaker 2: Or you can. Really you could really live life on
- 51:40Speaker 2: the edge if you just get rid of all your
- 51:42Speaker 2: what is it your band words, your lists of band words,
- 51:45Speaker 2: if you can just delete them all for like a
- 51:47Speaker 2: week and see what happens.
- 51:50Speaker 1: The sadness I would feel my getting all those clown
- 51:52Speaker 1: faces like the nothing gives me more joy than knowing
- 51:57Speaker 1: that I blocked the clown face and like you, no matter.
- 52:01Speaker 2: What you try to do, I can't get it in there.
- 52:03Speaker 4: You.
- 52:04Speaker 1: I will never see the clown face. No, not happening.
- 52:08Speaker 1: But I also want to know what's wrong with me
- 52:10Speaker 1: that that face really offends me that much.
- 52:13Speaker 2: I don't know you get you get it that often? Oh,
- 52:16Speaker 2: I got it like you're a clown, You're a clown.
- 52:19Speaker 1: And then the face like I just think the face
- 52:21Speaker 1: is so rotten, Like I just don't want to see
- 52:24Speaker 1: that face, Like what you need to do? But I
- 52:26Speaker 1: don't need to see the face.
- 52:27Speaker 2: But she.
- 52:31Speaker 1: Says Ariana isn't coming to her defense, which said, I'm like, no,
- 52:34Speaker 1: ship of course she's not going to come to your defense.
- 52:36Speaker 1: But then sheen EVNSD to Lala that Ariana never validates
- 52:40Speaker 1: her conflicting emotions with sand of all.
- 52:43Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's never going to happen. Yeah never.
- 52:46Speaker 1: Hello, listen, I also do not have a high IQ,
- 52:50Speaker 1: but I know that that is not going to happen.
- 52:52Speaker 2: Never.
- 52:53Speaker 1: Then, during Laala's confessionals, she says Ariana needs to pull
- 52:56Speaker 1: her head out of her ash. She needs to remember
- 52:58Speaker 1: who her friends are and they've done for her. Then
- 53:02Speaker 1: Sheena asked why they can never have a moment that's
- 53:04Speaker 1: about her. She's tired of everything revolving around Ariana.
- 53:09Speaker 3: And then that's what finally, finally, I feel like people
- 53:14Speaker 3: are actually saying what they're finally thinking.
- 53:17Speaker 1: But I do think Sheena totally so like told on
- 53:21Speaker 1: herself by saying she wanted to be on Dancing with
- 53:25Speaker 1: the Stars, but she just was happy for her friend.
- 53:28Speaker 1: I'm so happy for her. I'm just so happy. I'm
- 53:31Speaker 1: so happy for her. I can't wait for eleven years,
- 53:34Speaker 1: but I'm thrilled. But she got so happy, she got it,
- 53:38Speaker 1: Like I was like, Okay, here we go. We finally
- 53:41Speaker 1: got to the real story.
- 53:43Speaker 2: But I'm so happy. I'm good as gold. I'm so
- 53:48Speaker 2: happy for her.
- 53:53Speaker 1: But I do think things are picking up. I do
- 53:55Speaker 1: think things are picking up.
- 53:57Speaker 2: Yes they are. It's definitely get better.
- 54:01Speaker 1: It's getting better. But I do wonder what happens when
- 54:05Speaker 1: they get home from Tahoe, because we see Joe into
- 54:07Speaker 1: the mix with shorts, which is clear what we predicted
- 54:12Speaker 1: was right, that they're friends with benefits and now she
- 54:15Speaker 1: wants to take things to the next level and he's
- 54:18Speaker 1: not having it.
- 54:19Speaker 2: No, i'still in love with Katie. No, I don't think so.
- 54:24Speaker 2: I don't feel that, do you. I don't know. Like
- 54:29Speaker 2: the way he was.
- 54:29Speaker 1: Talking about her when Brock was blackout wasted, he didn't
- 54:37Speaker 1: have a good response, but he just kept saying she
- 54:39Speaker 1: liked me when I had nothing. It makes me feel
- 54:42Speaker 1: like all of the relationships he's had now that he
- 54:46Speaker 1: is I guess something. I don't know, feel like people
- 54:50Speaker 1: are just with him because he's on a television show.
- 54:52Speaker 3: Yeah, so maybe he's That's the one thing he's missing
- 54:56Speaker 3: from that relationship was the authenticity of it, even if
- 54:59Speaker 3: it's not her, but the level of authenticity, because he's
- 55:03Speaker 3: clearly not getting that now.
- 55:06Speaker 1: No, clearly, No, absolutely not. I mean especially not from
- 55:09Speaker 1: the girl from the boat. She never showed up.
- 55:14Speaker 3: Unless she showed up and they were like, look, we
- 55:16Speaker 3: don't need you to film me. Have enough going on
- 55:18Speaker 3: right now.
- 55:19Speaker 2: She is crying law laws, fighting with standalball.
- 55:22Speaker 5: We don't bleed you text messages also, did you notice
- 55:26Speaker 5: that they've blurred out part of those text messages.
- 55:28Speaker 1: Sorry on it again, like don't please, don't like you know,
- 55:33Speaker 1: try to pull us. I can read, and I can
- 55:36Speaker 1: see when you're blurring stuff out or only reading half
- 55:38Speaker 1: of a sentence.
- 55:40Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 55:40Speaker 1: Again, maybe it has to do a production I don't know,
- 55:42Speaker 1: or filming. You don't think so, Yeah, I mean it
- 55:45Speaker 1: probably does, but I would like to see the full text.
- 55:47Speaker 1: I'm fine. I also don't mind breaking the fourth wall.
- 55:51Speaker 1: I don't mind it at all.
- 55:52Speaker 3: I feel like the trend now is to do that
- 55:54Speaker 3: more often, don't you think?
- 55:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't have a problem with it.
- 55:58Speaker 1: Loah, love it, don't mind it, but I am curious
- 56:02Speaker 1: to see where it goes from here once they're all
- 56:04Speaker 1: back in LA with Hippie and all the people doing
- 56:10Speaker 1: all the things.
- 56:11Speaker 2: But Hippie anyway, is that a better name than Graham?
- 56:16Speaker 1: Absolutely not. No. Also, it doesn't naturally come. It's not
- 56:21Speaker 1: like I knew the dog Graham. It's not like Graham's
- 56:23Speaker 1: but like Graham. He looks like a Graham cracker, he does,
- 56:27Speaker 1: but Hippy Graham is always on a tight lea. She
- 56:31Speaker 1: also noticed the Graham maybe a touch of truth to
- 56:34Speaker 1: Rachel's story because.
- 56:36Speaker 2: They never have that Graham just roaming around. No, I'm
- 56:39Speaker 2: surprised he doesn't have like an E caller on too,
- 56:42Speaker 2: like a shocker.
- 56:46Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, you guys, thanks for tuning in to
- 56:48Speaker 1: another episode of Popping Off. We hope you enjoyed. Please
- 56:51Speaker 1: ask any questions or anything that you need from us,
- 56:54Speaker 1: and we will do our best to annoy you.
- 56:56Speaker 3: And don't DM her saying that I'm mean is now
- 57:00Speaker 3: shot to pretend to be nice, which she but it
- 57:02Speaker 3: has to be nice and I don't like it.
- 57:08Speaker 4: M m m m m hm m mmm
