- 0:28Speaker 1: We will be talking about teams that have the most
- 0:30Speaker 1: momentum going into the playoffs. Yes, yeah, maybe a little
- 0:33Speaker 1: college football recap at the end of this episode because
- 0:36Speaker 1: a lot of the focus today as you're watching now,
- 0:38Speaker 1: are listening now make sure you subscribe, is going to
- 0:40Speaker 1: be around the NFL, NFL playoffs, MVP talk teams that
- 0:44Speaker 1: you know. We had a wide rite last night with
- 0:46Speaker 1: the Steelers, Ravens Panthers ended up losing one. You had
- 0:50Speaker 1: Baker Mayfield sitting at home watching the games getting recorded
- 0:53Speaker 1: by his wife, but As always, we are brought to
- 0:55Speaker 1: you by the FanDuel Sportsbook and we've waited all season

- 1:28Speaker 2: NFL Crazy Game last night with the Steelers in the Ravens,
- 1:31Speaker 2: I know and I think the worst team loss. The
- 1:35Speaker 2: lesser team lost that game.
- 1:37Speaker 1: The lesser team, the lesser thinking the right team won
- 1:40Speaker 1: that game.
- 1:42Speaker 2: You're right, I put you know what flipped that? The
- 1:44Speaker 2: lesser team won that game. I believe that. And I
- 1:48Speaker 2: think that because just because I think if you're looking
- 1:50Speaker 2: at both these teams and how they're all they're built,
- 1:53Speaker 2: I believe the Ravens had a better chance to make
- 1:56Speaker 2: a stronger push in the playoffs and the Steelers would.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Obviously they were losing DK Metcalf. They didn't have DK Metcalf.
- 2:02Speaker 2: They'll get him back for the playoffs, so that might
- 2:03Speaker 2: be a big turnaround for them. But just the inconsistencies,
- 2:06Speaker 2: obviously the Ravens have had that. But they started to
- 2:08Speaker 2: establish more of a run game. Lamar Jackson I thought
- 2:10Speaker 2: looked really good coming out. He had some really nice
- 2:13Speaker 2: touches on some pass wearing.
- 2:14Speaker 1: The rib cage.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Shut up. He looked good, a little more mobile, a
- 2:17Speaker 2: little more healthy. So I just felt the Ravens could
- 2:19Speaker 2: win this game. They had a better chance for us
- 2:21Speaker 2: to be like, Okay, I think they're gonna make a
- 2:22Speaker 2: bigger push going into these playoffs. Steelers could be a
- 2:27Speaker 2: one and done for the boys right there. And I
- 2:28Speaker 2: don't I'm not hating. They have a great squad. They
- 2:31Speaker 2: made the playoffs, clearly, But does anybody disagree that we
- 2:34Speaker 2: feel like the Steelers are probably gonna be one. It
- 2:37Speaker 2: feels like a one undone. It's a tune up who
- 2:39Speaker 2: they play? Who they who they getting dialed in with? Alright, ball,
- 2:49Speaker 2: yeah they played the Texans, You don't, no, No.
- 2:54Speaker 3: I'll take the Steelers over the Texans.
- 2:56Speaker 1: You'll take Steelers over Teching.
- 2:57Speaker 3: Aaron Rodgers showed that magic last night again. He had
- 3:00Speaker 3: the ball.
- 3:00Speaker 4: It was it was vintage Aaron Rodgers drives down the field,
- 3:03Speaker 4: ties the game, or it takes He has.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Those moments for sure. He had Texas defense. Now as
- 3:08Speaker 1: long as you delete the memory of them just playing
- 3:10Speaker 1: the Colts because Riley Leonard went off on that defense.
- 3:13Speaker 3: I think it's a good game for the Steelers. I
- 3:15Speaker 3: like the Steelers.
- 3:16Speaker 1: C J.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Stroud sometimes has some stinkers too, so.
- 3:20Speaker 2: I see, I'm not worried like I think that. First off,
- 3:22Speaker 2: I don't know what the total in that game is.
- 3:23Speaker 2: I'm already taking the under in that game. But you
- 3:26Speaker 2: know Will Anderson and Daniel Hunter on the on the edge.
- 3:29Speaker 2: It's gonna be very, very stressful for Aaron Rodgers to
- 3:34Speaker 2: sit there in the pocket and be able to throw
- 3:35Speaker 2: the ball or remind me a lot of like the Browns.
- 3:38Speaker 2: How they played the Browns. Was it last week two
- 3:40Speaker 2: weeks ago? When they when they were playing, they were
- 3:42Speaker 2: more focused on getting away from that pass rush as
- 3:44Speaker 2: they were trying to win that game.
- 3:45Speaker 5: Yeah, could be stressful for Stroud too though. Hei Smith
- 3:48Speaker 5: was going crazy last night.
- 3:49Speaker 2: I've been telling you boys.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Have I not told you boys about what was coming alive?
- 3:53Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 3:54Speaker 1: Had that pick there, that nice pick that just fitting
- 3:56Speaker 1: in the old bread basket? Yeah?
- 3:58Speaker 2: No, I like, uh, I like.
- 4:00Speaker 1: I personally feel like Texans have too much at all
- 4:02Speaker 1: three levels defensively for the for Pittsburgh to get a
- 4:05Speaker 1: whole lot going possibly.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Not cross the fifty. That's the kind of defense we
- 4:08Speaker 2: might be looking at a game like that.
- 4:10Speaker 5: At Aaron Rodgers, I hope you'd heard that.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Listen. A huge fan of Aaron, huge fan of Aaron.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Yeah. Love love the kiss blowing by Tom.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Love all of that. I just friend of the show.
- 4:20Speaker 2: I just feel like this is this is where the
- 4:23Speaker 2: buck stops, and it stops here.
- 4:25Speaker 1: I'm more so excited to see to kind of watch
- 4:29Speaker 1: the jersey Jerry's of the world, the Pittsburgh fans, the
- 4:31Speaker 1: content that's going to come from this game, especially if
- 4:33Speaker 1: they do lose. Right, did you see who's the comedian
- 4:37Speaker 1: that does the rapist Stobby stovey baby getting in the shower?
- 4:42Speaker 1: He said, fire them all, Let's get Joe Flacco in there.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Yeah, he's always did. He always has nice little things
- 4:48Speaker 2: after the rabies about that.
- 4:51Speaker 1: He said, shouldn't Aaron Rodgers be in a dark room
- 4:53Speaker 1: trying to figure out if he's not gay or not
- 4:58Speaker 1: he is?
- 4:58Speaker 2: He is extremely funny with those things. One dude, one
- 5:01Speaker 2: game that I'm really looking forward to is Patriots and
- 5:05Speaker 2: the Chargers.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Patriots, Man, I don't.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Know Jesse Mintor's defense. He always keeps quarterbacks at like
- 5:13Speaker 2: a qbr of like in the sixties, right, he is
- 5:15Speaker 2: a way of neutralizing offenses. And I just feel like Herbert,
- 5:20Speaker 2: there's gotta be a time that Herbert gets a playoff game,
- 5:22Speaker 2: the not winning playoff games off of his back.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Right, the talent that everybody talks about it being yeah,
- 5:27Speaker 1: arguably in the top five, always in the top ten.
- 5:30Speaker 1: But if he's going to get over that hump, like
- 5:33Speaker 1: this is a step, Yeah, this is clearly a step.
- 5:35Speaker 1: You have to get a playoff game under your belt
- 5:37Speaker 1: to start not being labeled as more of like the
- 5:39Speaker 1: Lamar Jackson field that box you kind of get put in.
- 5:42Speaker 2: Yeah, and the Patriots they don't have like outstanding pass rush.
- 5:46Speaker 2: You don't worry about the tackles being hurt there. Jim Harball, No, no, no, no, no,
- 5:52Speaker 2: you got one you got one rusher. You got one rusher,
- 5:55Speaker 2: that's great, but you can you can neutralize one rusher,
- 5:57Speaker 2: no problem. But you got you need help, you need
- 5:59Speaker 2: game stunts. Blitz is coming. I just think about a
- 6:02Speaker 2: Jim Harball who's praying for snowfall. He's the only coach
- 6:05Speaker 2: that lives in California. He's only person lives in California
- 6:08Speaker 2: going to somewhere. But I hope to god it's freezing outside.
- 6:12Speaker 2: That's the type of cat that they're looking forward to playing.
- 6:14Speaker 2: You know, run the ball a little bit.
- 6:16Speaker 1: You talk about Harball. Yeah, listen, I mean Mike Rabel,
- 6:19Speaker 1: my Rabel.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Stun might fight. Do you think they could?
- 6:25Speaker 1: Do?
- 6:25Speaker 2: You think who do you think would win that fight?
- 6:28Speaker 5: It would I'll tell you this, the fight would last
- 6:30Speaker 5: at least twelve hours. Yeah, because there's no way Harball
- 6:33Speaker 5: is giving up.
- 6:34Speaker 1: He's not like Rabel. Rabel, Yeah under ten minutes. Hey,
- 6:38Speaker 1: that ain't Rabel's. That's that's a you can't kill. It's
- 6:43Speaker 1: already dead.
- 6:44Speaker 2: And also, I don't know if we have the clip
- 6:46Speaker 2: we're gonna post on the YouTube of me. I filmed
- 6:48Speaker 2: him one time in the Titans weight room punching bag.
- 6:51Speaker 2: A couple of times.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Not a lot of power. That's him just working on
- 6:54Speaker 1: a lot of power. Yeah, he's pacing, he's he acts
- 6:59Speaker 1: like it.
- 6:59Speaker 2: I'm sure Rabel is a guy that asks like he's
- 7:01Speaker 2: got seven brothers child.
- 7:05Speaker 1: He's like Mike, we're just joking around him.
- 7:09Speaker 2: He's Vince Vaughn's brothers and four Christmases. When they go
- 7:12Speaker 2: into Phoenix or whatever their names, they're pinning in the ground.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Google me, bitch, that's rapes. This is it right here?
- 7:18Speaker 2: You tell me that's knocking out Jim.
- 7:20Speaker 1: He's just working out right there, He's just working out.
- 7:23Speaker 2: Hey, do me if the dust off your knees a
- 7:26Speaker 2: little bit and talk a little ball. Huh.
- 7:28Speaker 6: I am.
- 7:30Speaker 1: Going to see this, letting you know. Would this man
- 7:33Speaker 1: in under ten minutes? Well, would you beat Rabel in
- 7:35Speaker 1: a fight? Yeah, no question. He's too old. Even with
- 7:38Speaker 1: the n Yeah, he's too feeble, you know what I mean,
- 7:40Speaker 1: even with your length, I'd get on the inside. You've
- 7:43Speaker 1: got Mike Tyson.
- 7:44Speaker 2: I've seen Mike Tysons Douglas. You're not either of those cats.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Mike Tyson, buster, dougle No disrespected. Douglas did win that fight?
- 7:52Speaker 7: Are you pickingbel coach you played for over Jim Harball.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Of Harball?
- 7:59Speaker 2: So hard to say, man, it's so hard to say
- 8:00Speaker 2: because when I look at Rabel's punches, not a lot
- 8:02Speaker 2: of power behind that. I can see Harball hitting a
- 8:05Speaker 2: Homer Simpson type of fight where he just keeps taking
- 8:08Speaker 2: it on the chin over and over again until Vrabel
- 8:10Speaker 2: tires himself out and falls down, and then Harrball is
- 8:12Speaker 2: on top of him.
- 8:13Speaker 7: Would you rather play for, oh, rapes?
- 8:17Speaker 2: I played for rapes rather.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Taylor's not picking rapes because very Ray Daddy's Taylor. That's
- 8:23Speaker 1: all that is in the same chat. You know, I'll
- 8:28Speaker 1: embrace it. I'm picking my guy Raves against Harball against that. Yeah,
- 8:34Speaker 1: you're picking that to lose?
- 8:39Speaker 2: What the fuck does that mean?
- 8:40Speaker 1: It means Harball is like the goat a hide and
- 8:42Speaker 1: seek since he hid for in his little house. There's
- 8:45Speaker 1: like that story where he hit for what eight hours
- 8:49Speaker 1: chairs under the table.
- 8:50Speaker 2: Yeah, listen, probably in a fight you give the edge
- 8:53Speaker 2: of Rabel. What something about them chargers against against the PA.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Everyone's hating on the Patriots. Their schedule is easy, a
- 9:00Speaker 2: whole bunch of stuff. I don't know who I'm taking
- 9:02Speaker 2: this game. I actually started this conversation with this is
- 9:04Speaker 2: one of the games I'm most excited for because I
- 9:05Speaker 2: think it's gonna be a little a little bit of fight. Yeah,
- 9:08Speaker 2: Jesse Mintter's defense can neutralize a great offense. They have
- 9:12Speaker 2: done it all season long.
- 9:13Speaker 1: So it's kind of like another one when you talk
- 9:15Speaker 1: about Justin Herbert too, like another guy going into the playoffs.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Can he get it done? Is Sammy D. Sammy D
- 9:24Speaker 1: with the Seattle Seahawks because Seattle with home field advantage.
- 9:28Speaker 1: I tweeted out, good luck to anybody that you know
- 9:30Speaker 1: is going into Seattle that's gonna try and beat this team,
- 9:33Speaker 1: because I think Seattle has got the path. Like to me,
- 9:36Speaker 1: they are a Super Bowl pick of mine.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Yeah, the defense they beat, they beat cats up. I
- 9:41Speaker 2: just like to see Sammy D elevated a little bit.
- 9:43Speaker 2: I feel like he's kind of like dwindled down the
- 9:46Speaker 2: last four or five weeks of the season. I like
- 9:48Speaker 2: to see him, you know, push the ball down field
- 9:50Speaker 2: a little bit more.
- 9:51Speaker 1: It'll come alive. Look, there's only been one other quarterback
- 9:54Speaker 1: with back to back fourteen win seasons, right, I think
- 9:57Speaker 1: there was Tom Brady, two.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Different teams, two different teams, one quarterback, two quarterbacks, him
- 10:04Speaker 2: and Tom Brady.
- 10:04Speaker 8: I think there's five or six quarterbacks ever to ever
- 10:07Speaker 8: have back to back thirteen win seasons.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Sammy D did it.
- 10:11Speaker 2: I'm a big Sammy D believer, friend of the show,
- 10:13Speaker 2: friend of the show, friend of the show, and Seattle
- 10:15Speaker 2: bro like that environment is going to be.
- 10:17Speaker 1: Nuts because the noise all week on the internet is
- 10:20Speaker 1: gonna be like Sammy D. This where he's gonna crumble
- 10:22Speaker 1: right where Seattle. They have a bye week so they'll
- 10:24Speaker 1: get the rest. They're gonna they're gonna play the winner
- 10:26Speaker 1: of who is It's? Uh Tampa, Tampa's out. They got
- 10:34Speaker 1: they they got the playoffs. Yeah throw up? Yeah yeah.
- 10:42Speaker 2: Oh they're gonna play the Rams.
- 10:43Speaker 1: No, yeah, not Tampa. NFC South Carolina and the Rams.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Then you got their showdown in Seattle.
- 10:50Speaker 8: I feel like that would be a good matchup for
- 10:52Speaker 8: Seattle because the last two times, well they beat them
- 10:55Speaker 8: the last time they played, and then the first time
- 10:57Speaker 8: they played they should have won. I'm like a game
- 11:00Speaker 8: winning field or something.
- 11:01Speaker 2: Also, they played was a crazy overtime game, right yeah,
- 11:04Speaker 2: that was the fifteen league. Clay Matthews parlay the money
- 11:06Speaker 2: the money on Matthews Parlay that hit. I like it.
- 11:09Speaker 2: I like Seattle at Home.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Let me ask you this, Seattle at home, Seattle with
- 11:14Speaker 1: that defense and Sam Donald JSN in.
- 11:16Speaker 2: The playoffs and the way they've been able to run
- 11:18Speaker 2: the ball as a plate, like, yeah, run the ball
- 11:22Speaker 2: in defense. That's like Greg Olsen talks about, Hey, that's
- 11:25Speaker 2: what really matters when you get to the playoffs.
- 11:27Speaker 1: And everybody's talked about Rabel, Liam Cohen, Ben Johnson, but
- 11:31Speaker 1: also Mike McDaniel his second year with Seattle. Mike Mike
- 11:35Speaker 1: McDonald his second year with Seattle. Yeah, he's I mean,
- 11:37Speaker 1: he is a he's a stud. You got Kubiak as
- 11:40Speaker 1: the oc.
- 11:41Speaker 2: Here's my fear, and I feel like I got a
- 11:44Speaker 2: taste of it in twenty one when we were the
- 11:46Speaker 2: ones he'd had to buy. You see it in these
- 11:48Speaker 2: college and in the college rankings when you see, like
- 11:50Speaker 2: I think, it's not our one to nine teams that
- 11:54Speaker 2: have had to buy. That's what the that's what it
- 11:56Speaker 2: is in college, which is completely different. College and NFL
- 11:58Speaker 2: are two totally different things. But the title the Seattle
- 12:03Speaker 2: slowed down a little bit coming They come out a
- 12:05Speaker 2: little rusty, having a bye that's what I worry about. Yeah, different,
- 12:10Speaker 2: it is completely different.
- 12:11Speaker 1: I think Seattle. Seattle's got all the momentum in the NFC.
- 12:13Speaker 1: For me, the number one.
- 12:16Speaker 2: What's those momentum time, That's what I'm saying. That's what
- 12:19Speaker 2: makes me a little nervous about the momentum.
- 12:21Speaker 1: By the way, Greg, Greg didn't even mention momentum yesterday
- 12:24Speaker 1: on the.
- 12:24Speaker 2: Broadcast, I know, And when you hit that group chat,
- 12:26Speaker 2: I was like, I didn't listen that. Had I had
- 12:27Speaker 2: the game up, I wasn't listening to them, so I
- 12:30Speaker 2: was like, I hope you hit it. And then Dave
- 12:31Speaker 2: Lawan hit me up and he's like, uh, ever since
- 12:34Speaker 2: you guys have had Greg on, I love listening to
- 12:36Speaker 2: his commentary because I feel like he's still talking to
- 12:39Speaker 2: you guys, like he's fun to listen to now. And
- 12:40Speaker 2: I was like, has he brought a momentum? And then
- 12:42Speaker 2: Dave just went radio solent on me, so I assumed
- 12:44Speaker 2: probably not.
- 12:45Speaker 1: I listened to. So Patriots came out they scored in
- 12:48Speaker 1: what three plays? And I texted Greg in our group chat.
- 12:51Speaker 1: I was like, when if the Patriots scored they go
- 12:53Speaker 1: up seven? Oh you talk about you let Joe know
- 12:56Speaker 1: it's all you gave him. I gave you to do
- 12:59Speaker 1: was read what you and he hearted it. Yeah, so
- 13:01Speaker 1: i'thing it's gotta call here it goes. I kind of
- 13:03Speaker 1: waited after they scored. Then I'm like, okay, maybe you
- 13:06Speaker 1: know they're in the broadcast booth, they're going to commercial soon.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Maybe he wants time to talk about this. So then
- 13:10Speaker 1: I'm listening for when they come out kick the ball
- 13:12Speaker 1: off and never came. He never talked about momentum, like, hey,
- 13:16Speaker 1: losing to the Buffalo Bills is the best thing to
- 13:18Speaker 1: happen to this Patriot team. It sparked a momentum that
- 13:21Speaker 1: is going to be tough to beat going into the playoffs.
- 13:23Speaker 1: And you see it right now flowing through the New
- 13:25Speaker 1: England Patriots.
- 13:26Speaker 2: See I loved the Patriots play this week.
- 13:28Speaker 1: I love that for.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Them because of the momentum. If they had to buy
- 13:31Speaker 2: what happens, I don't know. Well, the Rable was undefeated
- 13:34Speaker 2: until Patriots. His first time with the Patriots. They had
- 13:37Speaker 2: to buy what happened, they lose. So now with them
- 13:40Speaker 2: going if they can get over the charge or something,
- 13:42Speaker 2: just a mentor hump. Jim Harrball, tough guy, hump.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Who do you got? Let's let's stick in the NFC.
- 13:50Speaker 1: Who is you? How would you label these guys? To
- 13:51Speaker 1: rank these guys with the most momentum going.
- 13:53Speaker 2: In and the NFC most momentum, you give it to Seattle.
- 13:59Speaker 2: Do you mind if I rank them?
- 14:01Speaker 1: Yeah? We're looking for looking for seven.
- 14:03Speaker 6: All go.
- 14:04Speaker 2: It's tough because there's Seattle, big drop that. I'll go
- 14:08Speaker 2: the Rams and Taylor.
- 14:15Speaker 9: Are we talking strictly here?
- 14:17Speaker 2: I'm going strictly momentum. I'm just this is just momentum talk.
- 14:21Speaker 2: For the sake of the show. I'll go, Look, okay, Seattle,
- 14:23Speaker 2: big drop Rams. I'll probably put the Bears in there.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Right after that.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Just lost the Lions. Maybe they lost a little.
- 14:30Speaker 2: Moment I know that's what it was, kind of hanging
- 14:32Speaker 2: me up a little bit, Carolina their bottom. I would
- 14:36Speaker 2: go San fran Green Bay, Philly.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Yeah, but listen, Brand lost to Seattle, to.
- 14:50Speaker 2: Seattle, and up until that point, I think brought perty
- 14:53Speaker 2: and that offense. That offense was scoring like thirty two
- 14:55Speaker 2: point five points per game, maybe even more than that.
- 14:58Speaker 2: Their defense is showing but a big way. The biggest
- 14:59Speaker 2: thing that we're me about the forty nine Ers. The
- 15:02Speaker 2: pass rush, we don't got a whole lot of it.
- 15:04Speaker 2: Quarterbacks kind of sit up there, keep that thing high
- 15:06Speaker 2: and tight a little bit. Yeah, they can bake a
- 15:08Speaker 2: pizza a little bit, because there's not unless you're you know,
- 15:11Speaker 2: Sola's putting in different type of blitzes Eagles. I don't
- 15:17Speaker 2: know what to think of the Eagles, man. I like
- 15:19Speaker 2: there's a piece of me that kind of loves, like, hey,
- 15:22Speaker 2: I love the fact that they lose, but like they
- 15:24Speaker 2: do have the best roster in the NFL, So what happens,
- 15:29Speaker 2: Like do they all of a sudden just turn it on.
- 15:31Speaker 2: I don't see it. I think the forty nine ers
- 15:34Speaker 2: is a good matchup for the Eagles early though, if
- 15:38Speaker 2: if you're not getting a Ricky Piersoll, if you're not
- 15:40Speaker 2: getting Trent Williams back. I know, I know George played.
- 15:42Speaker 2: I don't know about his health. Juwan Jennings. I see
- 15:46Speaker 2: in Fred Warner's talking about making a playoff push. If
- 15:49Speaker 2: he can get to what NFC championship, he could possibly
- 15:52Speaker 2: be back by then.
- 15:53Speaker 1: But I just don't know if.
- 15:54Speaker 2: They have the horses on defense, And just like Greg
- 15:57Speaker 2: talks about, when you kind of weed out these weak
- 15:59Speaker 2: teams and you're sitting with your sixteen best right here.
- 16:03Speaker 2: What like you're gonna get exposed because you have good coaching,
- 16:07Speaker 2: Now you have good defenses, good offenses playing each other,
- 16:09Speaker 2: and now the numbers of injuries kind of wear down
- 16:12Speaker 2: on you a little bit. That's what worries me for
- 16:14Speaker 2: the Niners.
- 16:14Speaker 1: Yeah, but I feel like there's been their story all
- 16:16Speaker 1: season long.
- 16:17Speaker 5: Then, yes, five years yeah, bro, yes.
- 16:21Speaker 1: And this year sitting on the spot there. So if
- 16:22Speaker 1: I could, if I could rank him, I would say,
- 16:24Speaker 1: I'll start with seven Carolina Panthers. No momentum going into
- 16:28Speaker 1: the place, zero zero momentum. Six, I would say the
- 16:32Speaker 1: Green Bay Packers right now, which is tough. That was
- 16:35Speaker 1: that was who I That's who I picked on for
- 16:37Speaker 1: the Super Bowl.
- 16:38Speaker 2: But that's how these viewers know you're an unbiased cat.
- 16:40Speaker 2: And that's beautiful.
- 16:41Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, very I'm extremely unbiased. Uh yeah, so six
- 16:45Speaker 1: Green Bay Packers number five, I'm going to go with
- 16:49Speaker 1: the Eagles. Not a lot of momentum going into the playoffs. Yeah, oh,
- 16:53Speaker 1: Jalen Hurts doesn't scream momentum. That offense doesn't scream momentum.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Does do have an elite defense? They do get a
- 16:59Speaker 1: home game against San Fran, But I think san Fran's
- 17:02Speaker 1: got a different type of momentum going into the playoff. Yeah,
- 17:05Speaker 1: the Eagles won't see coming which which team. So san
- 17:11Speaker 1: Fran the year that they've had going twelve and five
- 17:14Speaker 1: and the hardest division in football, the momentum that they've
- 17:17Speaker 1: created all season long, and to lose to the best
- 17:19Speaker 1: team in the NFL thirteen to three, the Seattle Seahawks,
- 17:23Speaker 1: this can be framed as a momentum of this is
- 17:25Speaker 1: the best thing to happen to us going into the playoffs.
- 17:29Speaker 1: We're going to get into the Pats coming back. So
- 17:32Speaker 1: I like san Fran going what's up?
- 17:33Speaker 6: Do you think there's anything else that goes into it?
- 17:36Speaker 8: This is like a rematch of the NFC Championship game
- 17:38Speaker 8: from a couple of years ago when Rock Party hurt
- 17:40Speaker 8: his elbow.
- 17:41Speaker 1: I think it goes into it for the guys that
- 17:42Speaker 1: were on that roster just a little bit. That's like
- 17:44Speaker 1: one of the ten things that play a factor. This
- 17:46Speaker 1: is a small factor.
- 17:47Speaker 2: That's that's you have a big meeting and then, oh,
- 17:50Speaker 2: by the way, remember that game we played when brock
- 17:51Speaker 2: Perty got hurt.
- 17:52Speaker 1: This is Shanahan knowing I'm always in this spot they
- 17:55Speaker 1: say I can't win the big one. Time to prove
- 17:57Speaker 1: these motherfuckers wrong. I keep seeing the graphic go up
- 18:01Speaker 1: that when he's down seven plus points in the fourth quarter,
- 18:04Speaker 1: he's like one in thirty. Fact check me on that graphic.
- 18:08Speaker 1: But I think it's something around that lane to whin
- 18:10Speaker 1: he's down, he can't come back and rally the boy's back.
- 18:12Speaker 2: That's a I know this is college NFL. That's a
- 18:14Speaker 2: James Franklin kind of stat right there. That's a James Tough.
- 18:17Speaker 1: One to look at on the phone.
- 18:18Speaker 7: The more you're.
- 18:19Speaker 2: Talking about san Fran, the more I love san Fran
- 18:22Speaker 2: against the Eagles.
- 18:23Speaker 1: And everybody's using the fodder of kittles saying he was
- 18:26Speaker 1: rooting for the Cardinals, that he doesn't want to play
- 18:27Speaker 1: the eg Yeah, that can be the farthest thing from
- 18:29Speaker 1: the truth. Right the way I saw it is he
- 18:31Speaker 1: would rather just play in a warmer weather environment, no doubt.
- 18:34Speaker 1: I think everybody could. Yeah, everybody would love. Everybody would
- 18:37Speaker 1: like that.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Yeah, everybody would love to have We really admided he's
- 18:40Speaker 2: seventy five no bugs every single day. I could say,
- 18:43Speaker 2: harball not Jim Harball.
- 18:45Speaker 1: But that's what that's where Maybe Jim Harball beats Rapel's ass, right,
- 18:49Speaker 1: maybe there's an ass beating taking place in New England.
- 18:52Speaker 2: I don't know that yet, checking for the locker room.
- 18:54Speaker 1: But are we really gonna question George Kittle's toughness?
- 18:57Speaker 2: Never Iowake in the comment he's in Iowa.
- 19:00Speaker 1: Like, look, he wants to he wants to avoid the
- 19:02Speaker 1: Philadelphia Eagles. He don't give a ship about the Philadelphia Eagle.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Think about weather, Yeah, just want to play.
- 19:09Speaker 2: Can I put one thing in the back of your
- 19:10Speaker 2: head when it comes to Eagles preseason? I mean they
- 19:13Speaker 2: won the Super Bowl. Preseason was like, this is the
- 19:15Speaker 2: team that's gonna reap for best roster. They're gonna keep
- 19:18Speaker 2: firing along. Look at their wide receiver Jalen Hurts. Top
- 19:21Speaker 2: five quarterbacks, super Bowl, Super Bowl, Saquon Barkley. Look at
- 19:25Speaker 2: the year he said he's just gonna keep the momentum
- 19:27Speaker 2: going going this year. Now we've gotten through the whole
- 19:30Speaker 2: entire season, people are like, hey, they they really haven't exceeded,
- 19:33Speaker 2: haven't met our expectations? Are actually well below Who is
- 19:37Speaker 2: the hardest fan base to police in the entire NFL.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Oh, it's got to be Philly.
- 19:41Speaker 2: Gotta be Philly. Right, So let me ask you this.
- 19:44Speaker 2: We go into halftime in San Francisco's up by three points?
- 19:48Speaker 2: How tight are the Philadelphia Eagles that they're fans their stadium,
- 19:51Speaker 2: that city.
- 19:54Speaker 1: Don't want to know?
- 19:55Speaker 2: Right the polls, they're greasing up Siriani. There's they're greasing
- 20:01Speaker 2: up Sirianni.
- 20:02Speaker 1: On that hell of a coach. It's a sixty minute game,
- 20:05Speaker 1: and Philly's got the squad like if the Niners are
- 20:07Speaker 1: up by three at halftime, like there's no celebrating, Like
- 20:10Speaker 1: if you're rooting for the Niners, there's no celebrating taking place.
- 20:13Speaker 1: Because this Eagles team can whip teams in the second half,
- 20:16Speaker 1: no doubt. My concern is like, are we, all of
- 20:18Speaker 1: a sudden just gonna believe that the offense is gonna
- 20:21Speaker 1: come alive just because now we're in playoff mode. No,
- 20:23Speaker 1: there's the same story last year with the Chiefs. They
- 20:26Speaker 1: won all these one score games, they end up going
- 20:29Speaker 1: to the playoffs and getting Super Bowl, getting murdered by
- 20:31Speaker 1: the Philadelphia Eagles. But it's like, all of a sudden,
- 20:33Speaker 1: is this offense gonna come alive and just win the
- 20:35Speaker 1: whole thing. Yeah, I'm not buying that. I'm thinking the
- 20:39Speaker 1: Niners are gonna take down Philly at Philly in their backyard.
- 20:41Speaker 8: If the Eagles lose this game, like Philly fans will
- 20:44Speaker 8: be calling for.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Oh they call head that's Tuesday. Yeah, that's a regular too,
- 20:52Speaker 1: that's this afternoon.
- 20:54Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying, though, they they go, they'll go
- 20:58Speaker 2: in down three at half, you're the fans are booing.
- 21:01Speaker 2: Things are tight, and it's not like they've done it before.
- 21:04Speaker 2: We see the Rams game how they came back. They
- 21:05Speaker 2: had twenty Rams had twenty eight points at the end
- 21:08Speaker 2: of the first half. They had twenty points at the
- 21:09Speaker 2: end of the of the game, two block field goals.
- 21:12Speaker 2: They have a bunch of things that take place so
- 21:14Speaker 2: they have the ability to come back. But when it
- 21:15Speaker 2: is the playoffs and they haven't met the standard, they
- 21:18Speaker 2: should be out there well below the standard. The fans
- 21:20Speaker 2: know what they're booing. You as you're going into your
- 21:22Speaker 2: tunnel to have your halftime adjustments, does it feel different
- 21:26Speaker 2: as opposed to, Hey, it's week thirteen. Whether this works
- 21:29Speaker 2: that or not, we're probably going to be fine. Now
- 21:31Speaker 2: it's a do or die situation. They've been there before,
- 21:33Speaker 2: so you have to give them the edge there. But
- 21:35Speaker 2: something about the tightness and Philly right now just feels
- 21:37Speaker 2: a little bit different to me. Feels a little bit different.
- 21:40Speaker 1: Even though they've found ways to win, I don't see
- 21:43Speaker 1: them as this team finds a way to win with
- 21:45Speaker 1: the play calling that they've had all year long, with
- 21:48Speaker 1: Jalen Hurts at quarterback, Like, I just I'm not buying
- 21:51Speaker 1: into that stock. I think Philly's going to be let down.
- 21:53Speaker 1: That's just again, Jeremy, I know you're a Philly fan.
- 21:57Speaker 1: One and done, one and done.
- 21:58Speaker 3: That's crazy. I don't even have to come get you.
- 22:01Speaker 4: It's just, uh, every year in the playoffs, everyone doubts
- 22:05Speaker 4: the Eagles. Hungry dogs run faster, they put the dog
- 22:08Speaker 4: mass on, they run through everybody. It's a home game
- 22:10Speaker 4: in Philly. The last time they were there, Rock Purty
- 22:13Speaker 4: got hurt. But he got hurt by getting sacked because
- 22:15Speaker 4: the Eagles got pressure on him.
- 22:16Speaker 1: It's not like it was was a quotas well. It's not.
- 22:18Speaker 1: It's not a legit got hurt.
- 22:19Speaker 2: He legit got hurt.
- 22:21Speaker 4: But what you're saying is is like he got hurt
- 22:24Speaker 4: by getting hit from an Eagle. Know what I'm saying
- 22:29Speaker 4: is the Eagles defense is amazing and they're gonna do
- 22:31Speaker 4: the same thing they are.
- 22:32Speaker 3: They're gonna hit.
- 22:32Speaker 1: Him all this.
- 22:34Speaker 2: If Trent Williams does not play this game, I could
- 22:37Speaker 2: definitely see the Eagles winning this game another under game.
- 22:41Speaker 2: But man, if Trump does play, I feel a whole
- 22:43Speaker 2: lot better.
- 22:46Speaker 3: Oh No, I think uh. I think the Eagles are
- 22:48Speaker 3: gonna win, beat beat the forty nine ers. I think
- 22:51Speaker 3: they'll make a run. I don't know what I want
- 22:53Speaker 3: to do yet.
- 22:54Speaker 4: I want to make a bet with will about the
- 22:55Speaker 4: Eagles winning the Super Bowl, but I don't know what
- 22:56Speaker 4: it's gonna be.
- 22:57Speaker 6: We can do it.
- 22:57Speaker 1: Off An't gonna win the Super Bowl.
- 22:59Speaker 3: I have to think of sounding the Eagles are winning
- 23:01Speaker 3: the Super Bowl.
- 23:01Speaker 1: Eagles, Eagles are building.
- 23:04Speaker 4: What you say about Kyle Shanahan can't win the big game?
- 23:06Speaker 4: Whatever it is. Nick Sirianni wins in the playoffs. They
- 23:09Speaker 4: might have lost the Super Bowl, but they made it
- 23:11Speaker 4: again with a team that wasn't even that good.
- 23:12Speaker 2: So I hate to take something out of JP's bag,
- 23:15Speaker 2: but I feel like if Eagles don't win the Super Bowl,
- 23:16Speaker 2: you need to have a shape face for the entire year.
- 23:18Speaker 3: No, no, no, not all. First of all, you want
- 23:22Speaker 3: to get on, but you have you have to.
- 23:24Speaker 2: I'm just saying, I'm looking at that beard. I know
- 23:26Speaker 2: how much you love. What do you mean, dude?
- 23:29Speaker 3: The months look a rough few weeks, but uh, we
- 23:32Speaker 3: got We'll make a bet. We'll think of something. Eagles
- 23:34Speaker 3: are winning the Super Bowl.
- 23:36Speaker 1: Clumb telling you the Eagles will be one and done
- 23:39Speaker 1: this weekend.
- 23:40Speaker 4: I can't wait for this clip. This clip is gonna
- 23:42Speaker 4: go crazy. I might make I might make sure Philly
- 23:45Speaker 4: fans get an edit.
- 23:46Speaker 3: This is gonna be good.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Yeah, what do we want to make? Oh, I haven't
- 23:51Speaker 1: thought of anything. I almost feel bad that he's wanting
- 23:54Speaker 1: the Okay, I need to finish my moment. I love that.
- 23:58Speaker 3: Yeah, locker room will Yeah, where were you?
- 24:00Speaker 2: You're like at the momentum. I think the momentum is
- 24:03Speaker 2: exact same right now?
- 24:04Speaker 1: Correct? So yeah? Carolina, Green Bay, Philly, Philly, Chicago, San Francisco, Rams, Seattle, Okay,
- 24:15Speaker 1: and Seattle's got all the momentum. Chicago's got momentum. I
- 24:19Speaker 1: I do hate that they lost to the Lions. I
- 24:21Speaker 1: hate that they slipped one up there and lost to
- 24:22Speaker 1: the Lions.
- 24:23Speaker 2: That was you know what that That is another perfect
- 24:25Speaker 2: example of what you just said of like this could
- 24:27Speaker 2: be the best thing that happened to us. We got cocky,
- 24:29Speaker 2: you know, Caleb Williams through for the most Yards and
- 24:31Speaker 2: Bears history. I feel like, look at us, we're doing this.
- 24:34Speaker 1: But I also feel like Chicago hasn't been a team
- 24:36Speaker 1: that's ever felt comfortable in any week that they went into,
- 24:39Speaker 1: which is a good Which is a good thing to
- 24:40Speaker 1: have a good chip on your shoulder.
- 24:41Speaker 2: This is clearly a week that we felt they felt
- 24:43Speaker 2: comfortable play. Matthews is a Green Bay Packers guy. He said,
- 24:46Speaker 2: this is the bet of the week. The bet of
- 24:48Speaker 2: the week is the Lions are going to destroy or
- 24:50Speaker 2: so the Bears are going to destroy the Lions.
- 24:52Speaker 1: I know, and I should have listened to my gut,
- 24:54Speaker 1: don't thinking? Do we really think of Dan Campbell? Team's
- 24:56Speaker 1: not going to come in?
- 24:57Speaker 2: That's what I said.
- 24:58Speaker 1: Did you end up picking?
- 25:00Speaker 2: I took the line take money line.
- 25:01Speaker 1: I can't even remember what I pay.
- 25:02Speaker 2: I know it's so hard once you like, once the
- 25:04Speaker 2: days moves on, you're like, what happened? Yeah, just part
- 25:07Speaker 2: of life, Part of cte brother. Yeah, hold on, I
- 25:10Speaker 2: want to know about green Bay and Bears. Where does
- 25:13Speaker 2: your heart lie.
- 25:14Speaker 1: Right now on the game this week? Yeah?
- 25:17Speaker 2: And you know this is not this You're not held
- 25:19Speaker 2: to anything here feeling.
- 25:20Speaker 1: The green Bay Chicago matchup. I'm more of just a
- 25:23Speaker 1: fan watching this game because of the potential of Chicago
- 25:29Speaker 1: taking down green Bay and the fan base being able
- 25:32Speaker 1: to just go after green Bay because green Bay has
- 25:33Speaker 1: owned him decade after decade, year after year. Clay Matthews
- 25:38Speaker 1: standing up there on Draft Night, I was on national
- 25:41Speaker 1: television be like this team is not going to make
- 25:42Speaker 1: the playoffs, like all the fodder that this fan base has.
- 25:45Speaker 1: If they get a win this weekend against their rival,
- 25:47Speaker 1: against their division rival, I would almost just sit back
- 25:51Speaker 1: with some popcorn to just watch it kind of go down.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Yeah, So who do you got? So? So he's just
- 25:57Speaker 2: your as a fan watching as a fan.
- 25:59Speaker 1: Who do you give the edge to?
- 26:00Speaker 2: Right now? You want me to go first?
- 26:02Speaker 1: I know laflor Verus Johnson. I don't know. My pick
- 26:05Speaker 1: will probably my pick. I still need time to break
- 26:08Speaker 1: Raiders fire. Pete Carroll, that makes sense, I think that
- 26:12Speaker 1: was I think that was coming out a little bit
- 26:14Speaker 1: yesterday that they were parton ways.
- 26:15Speaker 2: That's been out for a week or two, and they've
- 26:17Speaker 2: been talking about talked about one and done.
- 26:19Speaker 3: Brian Flores will be the next head coach of the Raiders.
- 26:22Speaker 1: I think I've been seeing those. I've been seeing those
- 26:24Speaker 1: floating around.
- 26:25Speaker 2: Whoever is the next head coach of the Raiders, good
- 26:27Speaker 2: luck to them. But if that coach is also one
- 26:29Speaker 2: or two years and done, we start evaluating the ownership.
- 26:33Speaker 1: I mean, the older I think. I think it's already there.
- 26:35Speaker 2: Tom needs to figure it out.
- 26:36Speaker 4: Great Brady's involved, now, yeah, I was gonna say Tom
- 26:40Speaker 4: Brady's getting involved.
- 26:41Speaker 1: I've been hearing the rumors of Flores.
- 26:43Speaker 3: Flores head coach Brian Dabele though.
- 26:45Speaker 1: Yeah, we're bringing Dable in. The Raiders are in help.
- 26:49Speaker 1: They have to the fan base. They got a sick
- 26:52Speaker 1: they got a sick number one pick fan base, the
- 26:55Speaker 1: number one pick.
- 26:55Speaker 2: Yeah, since was less than the number one.
- 26:57Speaker 3: Pick, JaMarcus Russell.
- 26:59Speaker 2: That's right, that.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Is correct, That is correct.
- 27:02Speaker 2: Uh.
- 27:04Speaker 1: The playoffs up, so Green Bay Chicago.
- 27:06Speaker 2: I lean towards Chicago right now, I do. I think
- 27:08Speaker 2: with the with Michael Parsons being out, I just think
- 27:12Speaker 2: Caleb Williams. He's got he's got juice, he's got pizzaz.
- 27:15Speaker 2: I'm feeling his momentum. I'm feeling them.
- 27:19Speaker 1: What's that?
- 27:19Speaker 2: I don't know and I've seen a couple of things
- 27:21Speaker 2: and this is ridiculous. But like people are like, who
- 27:24Speaker 2: should we who should be the starting quarterback regardless of health?
- 27:27Speaker 1: Malik or Jordan.
- 27:28Speaker 2: Love, which I think is nuts, that's nuts.
- 27:31Speaker 1: Buttime he is bald.
- 27:33Speaker 2: Him and mag Jones are gonna be the two the
- 27:35Speaker 2: teams that don't get the quarterback they want in the draft,
- 27:37Speaker 2: those are the two guys are gonna get a little bag,
- 27:39Speaker 2: a little trade Ski and a bag Ski. But I
- 27:42Speaker 2: like the momentum with the Bears. I like the momentum
- 27:45Speaker 2: the Bears a lot. I think it's gonna be a
- 27:46Speaker 2: hell of a game. It's gonna be fun. It's probably
- 27:48Speaker 2: one of the most fun games to watch this coming week.
- 27:52Speaker 1: Post games. It's gonna come down to what I feel
- 27:55Speaker 1: like the theme is for Green Bay. It's gonna come
- 27:57Speaker 1: down to that fourth quarter. There's gonna be a moment
- 27:59Speaker 1: where green they has to go for it. They don't converts.
- 28:04Speaker 1: Oh so you got the Bears.
- 28:06Speaker 2: It's just I can see it going out strictly strictly
- 28:09Speaker 2: momentum right now.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Strictly momentum, strictly momentum.
- 28:13Speaker 2: I'm just talking bears, Rams, Carolina, we all know where
- 28:16Speaker 2: that's gonna go. I think that would be insane rank your.
- 28:20Speaker 1: Momentum, massive upset. If Carolina happens to sneak the rains
- 28:25Speaker 1: they did, they are sneaky.
- 28:26Speaker 2: Who Carolina, dude, No, no, no, no, they were sneaky. They're
- 28:31Speaker 2: out of the bushes. Now it's over.
- 28:33Speaker 6: If they.

- 28:43Speaker 6: If they can run the ball like probably like.
- 28:46Speaker 2: Established the run, play great defense, take care of the football.
- 28:50Speaker 2: I'm with you, Rams, Rams momentum in seventh place in

- 29:57Speaker 2: Let's get back to this episode. Please subscribe. Next, I'll
- 30:00Speaker 2: give the momentum to I'm gonna go Chargers. I'm gonna
- 30:06Speaker 2: go Chargers on the momentum front. But that that's an
- 30:10Speaker 2: easy switch up. That's easy at any moment, at any moment.
- 30:15Speaker 1: I just fully flipped by what you were saying earlier
- 30:17Speaker 1: with Harball.
- 30:18Speaker 2: Then I'm gonna go Denver. I'll take Houston Buffalo, and
- 30:26Speaker 2: Jacksonville is my number one momentum team right now.
- 30:29Speaker 1: The sneaky Jacksonville buddy, let's get Will Compton a round
- 30:32Speaker 1: of applause.
- 30:33Speaker 2: He's been calling it since October.
- 30:36Speaker 1: I do. I love the way Jacksonville's been playing Basonville
- 30:39Speaker 1: still in the bushes.
- 30:41Speaker 2: Jacksonville sneaky, They're still in the bushes, took their record
- 30:45Speaker 2: last year, flipped it.
- 30:47Speaker 1: Huh. People still Jacksonville Jaguars be like, oh wow, they
- 30:53Speaker 1: made it in the playoffs. That's crazy. I'll look I'll
- 30:55Speaker 1: look it up.
- 30:56Speaker 2: You do your momentum, but I'm gonna figure out what
- 30:58Speaker 2: the line is on this Chargers how to open up.
- 31:00Speaker 1: So my momentum is going to start off at number seven.
- 31:03Speaker 1: The Pittsburgh Steelers, I feel like they don't have a
- 31:05Speaker 1: lot of momentum going to the playoffs. Number six, I'm
- 31:08Speaker 1: going to say the LA Chargers. My number five with
- 31:12Speaker 1: momentum is going to be the Buffalo Bills not a
- 31:15Speaker 1: lot of momentum. A lot of the storyline is gonna
- 31:17Speaker 1: be like, hey, this is the year Josh Allen has
- 31:18Speaker 1: to get it done. I don't see the Buffalo Bills
- 31:20Speaker 1: having a lot of momentum, having the team capable of
- 31:22Speaker 1: getting to the super Bowl. Four on my momentum list
- 31:26Speaker 1: is going to be Houston. I feel like I saw
- 31:29Speaker 1: a couple of things over the weekend. Again, the defense,
- 31:32Speaker 1: Riley Leonard being able to score on them. Defensively, I
- 31:34Speaker 1: do think that defense is the best defense. That's the
- 31:37Speaker 1: defense you don't want to play in the playoffs. Are
- 31:39Speaker 1: they going to build offensively to win games throughout the playoffs?
- 31:45Speaker 1: So I have Houston at number four. My number three
- 31:48Speaker 1: momentum team is going to be Denver, the Denver Broncos.
- 31:51Speaker 1: Here's a kind of a question mark on Denver right now.
- 31:53Speaker 2: What's a question mark?
- 31:54Speaker 1: The question mark is.
- 31:58Speaker 2: Can they do it? Question mark is do they have
- 32:02Speaker 2: the momentum?
- 32:04Speaker 1: My question mark with Denver because I've loved bow Knicks
- 32:06Speaker 1: in this Denver football team. I love them, but do
- 32:10Speaker 1: they actually have what it takes to win as the
- 32:13Speaker 1: one seed? Because where I see where I see it's
- 32:16Speaker 1: gonna happen is Houston's gonna win their game against Pittsburgh,
- 32:19Speaker 1: then Denver is gonna have to host Houston and Houston.
- 32:23Speaker 1: Now I know, I have Houston at four and Denver
- 32:25Speaker 1: at three as far as momentum goes. That three slot
- 32:28Speaker 1: for Denver is because they have the bye week, so
- 32:29Speaker 1: they get to sit on a little bit of momentum.
- 32:31Speaker 1: Houston will be creating some taking down Pittsburgh and running
- 32:35Speaker 1: an elite game. Defensively, They're gonna be going into Denver
- 32:39Speaker 1: with probably the better defense, even though Denver has had
- 32:43Speaker 1: they have the most sacks throughout the throughout the league.
- 32:46Speaker 2: Yeah, there's something about Houston and Denver. I think Denver
- 32:49Speaker 2: statistically is better from a defense stetpoint. But who would
- 32:53Speaker 2: you rather see? And they're both terrifying. I think you'd
- 32:55Speaker 2: rather see Denver over Houston.
- 32:57Speaker 1: Yeah, Houston feels like they have gladiators across the we're defensively,
- 33:01Speaker 1: and my number two team with momentum is the Jacksonville
- 33:04Speaker 1: Jaguars and my number one team with momentum is the
- 33:07Speaker 1: New England Page.
- 33:08Speaker 2: Wow.
- 33:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I think the team that's going to represent the
- 33:11Speaker 1: AFC is going to be between the Jacksonville Jaguars and
- 33:14Speaker 1: the New England Patriots.
- 33:16Speaker 2: Well this is we're just talking about so right now.
- 33:21Speaker 2: It's just these are the momentum vibes.
- 33:22Speaker 1: We have momentum vibes. Yeah, because I don't know if
- 33:26Speaker 1: you saw the biggest momentum swing for Jacksonville going into
- 33:30Speaker 1: the playoffs and it's it's gonna it's going viral right
- 33:32Speaker 1: now on social media. But I don't think people understand
- 33:34Speaker 1: how big a momentum of a momentum play this is.
- 33:37Speaker 1: But the culture gifted Trevor Lawrence a grill in the
- 33:41Speaker 1: locker room after the game, and that is massive.
- 33:44Speaker 2: I don't know whether to do that because Trevor Lawrence
- 33:48Speaker 2: being able to be gifted a grill from the culture,
- 33:51Speaker 2: like you just said, that's everything. That's something you pray
- 33:54Speaker 2: for as like as a quat football player.
- 33:58Speaker 1: The team's got your back, the city's got you back.
- 34:01Speaker 5: Here you go, bro, dude, Trevor Lawrence, this is it
- 34:04Speaker 5: for him. This is the year that he gets to decide.
- 34:07Speaker 5: Is he the person who everybody thought he was since
- 34:10Speaker 5: he was in high school?
- 34:11Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 34:11Speaker 5: You always hear about it, Trevor Lawrence. He has a
- 34:13Speaker 5: premier arm, but not premier decision making, he has premier intangibles?
- 34:19Speaker 5: Does he have premier leadership? This is the playoffs where
- 34:22Speaker 5: Trevor Lawrence can set the tone for his destiny right
- 34:26Speaker 5: because hopefully he can live up to.
- 34:27Speaker 6: It for his sake.
- 34:28Speaker 1: Even though we know the MVP is down to two
- 34:31Speaker 1: with Drake May and Stafford. Like the way Trevor has
- 34:33Speaker 1: been playing in the back half of the year, bro
- 34:35Speaker 1: he is bawling.
- 34:36Speaker 5: Out then winning or losing fully rides on him.
- 34:40Speaker 2: And listen the games of pickup, it's one and a half.
- 34:42Speaker 2: Bills are favored one and a half in Jacksonville this weekend,
- 34:46Speaker 2: Cohen and the.
- 34:47Speaker 1: Coach of the Year. He's in the conversation he's not
- 34:50Speaker 1: gonna win.
- 34:51Speaker 2: It's he's farther away. I think he's like it wasn't
- 34:55Speaker 2: this last week we looked at it. He was like five
- 34:56Speaker 2: or six, Like he was down there a little bit
- 34:59Speaker 2: and the plus four digit mark something. Let me just
- 35:03Speaker 2: talk up. Listen, we I think Jacksonville, it'd be awesome
- 35:07Speaker 2: to see them represent I know AFC saw out the
- 35:09Speaker 2: whole thing, but to see them have the flip they
- 35:12Speaker 2: did from four and twelve to twelve and four is impressive.
- 35:15Speaker 2: Should give the two massive Tennessee Titan fans in here
- 35:18Speaker 2: a lot of hope and optimism for a coach to
- 35:20Speaker 2: come in and flip your script as well going in
- 35:22Speaker 2: the next year. This is this is a Kurtzignetty type
- 35:25Speaker 2: of situation.
- 35:25Speaker 7: We're looking at the represent the AFC over your form
- 35:29Speaker 7: former coach and your former lover, Jim Harvell.
- 35:34Speaker 2: Now listen, I should be great. You're great to see
- 35:37Speaker 2: him Patriots. How many times have we seen him in
- 35:39Speaker 2: the Super Bowl quite a bit? Chargers will be awesome
- 35:41Speaker 2: to see after them? Do what own them for nine?
- 35:46Speaker 2: Arguably ten not arguably, I'm gonna say ten soon ten
- 35:49Speaker 2: years own the Jacksonville j Yeah, it was Saxonville. They
- 35:53Speaker 2: had zero against us, Like I get it. We went
- 35:56Speaker 2: off on them, Derek Henry ninety nine yards two hundred
- 35:59Speaker 2: and thirty six on the ground like that. That's the
- 36:01Speaker 2: kind of day we have.
- 36:02Speaker 1: You can respect what they're doing.
- 36:03Speaker 2: I can respect what Liam Comb's doing with the cultures doing.
- 36:06Speaker 2: Trevor Lawrence, the Charlie Tribulations high School doesn't really lose,
- 36:09Speaker 2: goes to Clemson, multiple masts championships, doesn't lose. I think
- 36:12Speaker 2: he had like what four losses in high school in
- 36:14Speaker 2: college comes here, he gets his ass humble. People are saying,
- 36:18Speaker 2: this guy's got one more year before we got to
- 36:20Speaker 2: figure out if we're going to go get a quarterback
- 36:22Speaker 2: in the draft. Now we see him flip it. There's
- 36:25Speaker 2: nothing but respect on that, nothing but respect in the
- 36:27Speaker 2: Jackson Jag quarest, I'm not concerned about the Jags. Gee,
- 36:30Speaker 2: I did what I had my time against them, you know.
- 36:33Speaker 2: Now I'm just sitting back watching and it's respectable to see.
- 36:37Speaker 2: But the Bills may something about the Bills in the playoffs,
- 36:43Speaker 2: not having Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, Joe Burrow, something about
- 36:49Speaker 2: his ability to go and run through these cats. It's real.
- 36:53Speaker 2: The most momentum ability that any of these teams has
- 36:58Speaker 2: is Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills.
- 37:00Speaker 9: Is there a certain kind of momentum that comes from
- 37:02Speaker 9: people sleeping on the Bills? Like, would that cause momentium?
- 37:06Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 37:06Speaker 2: I absolutely could. But that's all rumbling that's in the ground.
- 37:09Speaker 2: That's an earthquake. You start to feel something what's going
- 37:12Speaker 2: on here? And then he didn't know tatonic plans just
- 37:14Speaker 2: tapped each other a little bit. Now, Josh Allen and
- 37:16Speaker 2: the Bills are coming. That's what takes place. I don't know.
- 37:19Speaker 2: I'm not a Dragon ball Z guy. I'm sure j
- 37:21Speaker 2: P could say that, but this feels like a saying
- 37:23Speaker 2: super Saiyan type of thing, getting the balls like this
- 37:25Speaker 2: feels like Josh Allen might be him. Josh Allen might
- 37:29Speaker 2: be my team this year. Actually he might be Goku.
- 37:32Speaker 1: Who do you think I might?
- 37:34Speaker 2: You know what, I picked the Bills in the beginning
- 37:37Speaker 2: of the year, and the more I'm talking about the
- 37:38Speaker 2: more I'm looking at this slate, and I'm like, Josh
- 37:41Speaker 2: Allen could just go super wiskled super saying on all
- 37:45Speaker 2: these cats. Okay, I love that I found my way
- 37:50Speaker 2: there because I don't know shit about Dragon ball Z.
- 37:52Speaker 2: But I could see I could see the Bills taking
- 37:56Speaker 2: it this year. So defensive back end, bottom five wide
- 38:00Speaker 2: receiving group take it. I could see him ahead.
- 38:03Speaker 1: I was gonna ask, Yeah, Bills played Jacksonville, so Denver
- 38:09Speaker 1: as the one seed they will host the lowest seed
- 38:12Speaker 1: that comes out of the Wildcar Weekend? Is Denver gonna
- 38:14Speaker 1: be hosting the Buffalo Bills next week? Are they gonna
- 38:20Speaker 1: be hosting the Chargers? You were kind of saying, the
- 38:22Speaker 1: Chargers all to.
- 38:25Speaker 2: Me, I think I got I think I've talked myself
- 38:28Speaker 2: for the Bills without looking into a whole lot.
- 38:30Speaker 1: You're taking them over Jacksonville.
- 38:32Speaker 2: I think I've talked myself into it. We had a
- 38:34Speaker 2: way to the locker room. We had a way to
- 38:35Speaker 2: the locker room. But I will say, keep your eye
- 38:39Speaker 2: on that seventh seed, keep your one. I'm gonna look
- 38:43Speaker 2: into it a whole lot more.
- 38:46Speaker 1: Pittsburghs four because that since they won the division, the
- 38:49Speaker 1: seventh seed is the Chargers. Keep your eye on the
- 38:52Speaker 1: sixth seed. Keep your eye on the seventh seed the Chargers.
- 38:57Speaker 2: Yes, because I am you asked the question was who
- 39:00Speaker 2: is Denver gonna host? I kind of got the Bills winning.
- 39:04Speaker 2: I don't know who I have between the Chargers and
- 39:05Speaker 2: the Patriots right now. So that's where I'm like, keep
- 39:08Speaker 2: your on that seventh seed. I'll let you know later.
- 39:11Speaker 8: Feels like you have more bias with the hardball led
- 39:14Speaker 8: Chargers than you do the Verabel.
- 39:15Speaker 1: Lead, Buddy.
- 39:16Speaker 2: To be honest, I'm not biased at all right now.
- 39:19Speaker 2: I'm just sitting here.
- 39:20Speaker 6: I just actually like the Chargers team.
- 39:23Speaker 2: I actually think their defense is really good. I think
- 39:25Speaker 2: Justin Herbert has a lot of pressure on him, but
- 39:27Speaker 2: a lot of opportunity as well. He is a great quarterback.
- 39:31Speaker 2: I could see the Chargers getting something going, especially the
- 39:34Speaker 2: way they match up defenses on offenses, Like I brought
- 39:37Speaker 2: up the Patriots, like they don't have a pass rush
- 39:39Speaker 2: that can get to Herbert over and over and over again,
- 39:42Speaker 2: because they do have tackles that are hurt, so they
- 39:44Speaker 2: have to simulate a lot of pressures, which puts you
- 39:45Speaker 2: in his zone coverage, which adds a lot of holes.
- 39:48Speaker 2: And Justin Herbert's a guy that can break break it
- 39:50Speaker 2: up quite a bit. So that's where I sit there.
- 39:51Speaker 2: I'm like, I love the Patriots. I hope Rabel gets
- 39:53Speaker 2: himself a Super Bowl. I just look at the Charger
- 39:56Speaker 2: on like that's a tough matchup for both teams going
- 39:58Speaker 2: to this game. But bias like the way you were
- 40:00Speaker 2: talking about the Bears and the Packers. I'm kind of
- 40:02Speaker 2: just excited to watch these teams play and then hopefully
- 40:05Speaker 2: we get to the Super Bowl and it's two teams
- 40:07Speaker 2: we haven't seen him forever, two different logos. That's really
- 40:10Speaker 2: what I want more than anything. Broncos will be said.
- 40:14Speaker 1: Figured out, go to the go over to the NFC side.
- 40:20Speaker 1: Who do you see Seattle hosting next week?
- 40:35Speaker 2: Buddy, it's the same thing. Keep your eye on that
- 40:37Speaker 2: seventh seed because I think the forty nine ers, where
- 40:39Speaker 2: I've talked myself into right now, forty nine ers beat
- 40:42Speaker 2: the Eagles, but I mean the Packers, I know, I
- 40:49Speaker 2: don't know. It makes so hard, it's so hard to
- 40:51Speaker 2: see because this is this is other than the Panthers.
- 40:54Speaker 2: No disrespect to the Panthers, Darren Bates, those boys up there,
- 40:56Speaker 2: they've they've had a year I think nobody really saw
- 40:59Speaker 2: coming even having a chance to make into playoffs. But
- 41:01Speaker 2: other than them, it's really like whoever's on that day.
- 41:05Speaker 2: And that's what makes these playoffs so fun is it's
- 41:08Speaker 2: like the Sea Ows to me are the best team
- 41:11Speaker 2: in the NFL. The X can fall to any of
- 41:14Speaker 2: these teams besides Panthers, they can fall to any of them.
- 41:19Speaker 2: That's what That's what I'm looking at. Yeah, stacked playoffs
- 41:22Speaker 2: and it's fun. And people have been on the NFC, NFC,
- 41:25Speaker 2: but it's like the AFC too, Dude.
- 41:27Speaker 1: I feel like the AFC is coming alive.
- 41:29Speaker 2: It's coming alive and it's we got momentum out the
- 41:32Speaker 2: ass right now. Every team's got momentum except for the Eagles,
- 41:36Speaker 2: but it seems like they don't give a fuck about momentum.
- 41:38Speaker 9: A real quick note, and I know we're in the NFL,
- 41:41Speaker 9: We're not in college.
- 41:42Speaker 1: But you notice how we just had a full.
- 41:44Speaker 9: Conversation about the NFL playoffs and never once we questioned
- 41:46Speaker 9: the structure of it. Just wanted to put that out there.
- 41:50Speaker 2: I do have something to say about the NFL playoffs.
- 41:52Speaker 1: I do oh or momentum clean take? This is just
- 41:54Speaker 1: a thought.
- 41:55Speaker 2: This is a thought. Might be a clean take. It
- 41:57Speaker 2: might be a clean take. Should a team that goes
- 42:00Speaker 2: below five hundred be able to host a playoff game?
- 42:04Speaker 1: No? I do like the proposal. I forget what team
- 42:07Speaker 1: was about to do.
- 42:08Speaker 2: And the Panthers are eight and nine and they're hosting
- 42:10Speaker 2: the twelve and five Rams.
- 42:13Speaker 3: Yes, yes, because they won their division. That's how they
- 42:15Speaker 3: haven't set up.
- 42:16Speaker 2: I know, I know how, you know how. I'm fully
- 42:19Speaker 2: aware of the process. I'm just saying, like, do we
- 42:22Speaker 2: maybe need to look into that? Do we like, do
- 42:24Speaker 2: we really want I don't have it? Eight and nine
- 42:27Speaker 2: team hosting a twelve and five team.
- 42:30Speaker 6: I mean, I mean, I don't hate it.
- 42:31Speaker 8: It's just something because there used to be years where
- 42:33Speaker 8: it was like the NFC least, like sometimes there's bad
- 42:36Speaker 8: years for certain divisions and stuff like that.
- 42:38Speaker 2: But it's a fair point. It's a fair point. I
- 42:40Speaker 2: don't think it's broken. It's just something I wanted to
- 42:42Speaker 2: bring up, and it seems like I know where it
- 42:44Speaker 2: stands majority against me. I feel good about that.
- 42:47Speaker 1: I don't. Yeah, I see.
- 42:50Speaker 2: I think the Panthers should still be in the playoffs
- 42:52Speaker 2: because they won their division. My question is the hosting
- 42:56Speaker 2: hosting a home.
- 42:57Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't have like a strong opinion on like, hey,
- 43:00Speaker 1: it has to be this way, but I would rather
- 43:02Speaker 1: see like the Rams should be hosting the Panthers this weekend,
- 43:05Speaker 1: like you're going by overall record as far as how
- 43:07Speaker 1: the seeding goes. Yeah, I don't.
- 43:11Speaker 4: Hate that idea too, because then Week eighteen games would
- 43:13Speaker 4: be more important. Teams would be playing for like home field.
- 43:16Speaker 4: Some teams bench their starters knowing that they're not gonna
- 43:18Speaker 4: win their division and stuff like that, like they're set
- 43:20Speaker 4: in their seed, so if they could know they're already slotted,
- 43:23Speaker 4: so you could be right Actually you're onto something. You're
- 43:24Speaker 4: kind of swaying me now that think about it.
- 43:26Speaker 2: Eagles could have the two seed with the tail the starters,
- 43:30Speaker 2: so that's your team club that true. Yes, it's gonna
- 43:34Speaker 2: be so interesting to see what the Eagles do because
- 43:36Speaker 2: there's a world where they just slow walk their way
- 43:39Speaker 2: to the super Bowl and just drag drag everybody into
- 43:43Speaker 2: the depths and just be like, this is where we live.
- 43:46Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 43:46Speaker 2: They even talk slow that the sloth of the NFL.
- 43:49Speaker 1: But anyway, let's get in some tier talk, grab some tiertalk,
- 43:54Speaker 1: grab some tier talk. Fans chiming in, you want a
- 43:56Speaker 1: chance to be featured on the show, just hashtag tier
- 43:59Speaker 1: talk with whatever your thought could be, NFL playoffs, MVP,
- 44:04Speaker 1: who's gonna win? Getting something off of your chest, venting
- 44:06Speaker 1: a little bit. Just hashtag teer talk for a chance
- 44:09Speaker 1: to be featured on the episode. But this first one
- 44:11Speaker 1: comes from a Lorenzo Big underscore pop up Underscore zoo
- 44:15Speaker 1: on X Raiders fans, sadly, do you take a QB
- 44:18Speaker 1: number one or do you trade the pick for more picks?
- 44:21Speaker 1: Build up the old line in other needs. Also shout
- 44:24Speaker 1: out Mitch Carsley, need some recaps or flag hashtag tear
- 44:27Speaker 1: talk at bustin at.
- 44:29Speaker 2: Shirms, shout out Lorenzo I had the clear answer here
- 44:32Speaker 2: is you need to take quarterback. I think you need
- 44:35Speaker 2: to take quarterback in the situation.
- 44:37Speaker 1: It's so tough with the Raiders man they have like, uh,
- 44:40Speaker 1: there're just so many holes, like that's not the whole
- 44:43Speaker 1: draft and everything else is like not my game. But
- 44:46Speaker 1: my very first thought is like why not trade back
- 44:48Speaker 1: and get more draft capital so you can try and
- 44:50Speaker 1: build out a roster. And also I think dealing Max Crosby.
- 44:53Speaker 2: No doubt. Okay, so two teams that have a lot
- 44:56Speaker 2: of holes. Our Tennessee Titans have a lot of holes
- 44:59Speaker 2: all over the place, but they have a quarterback. So
- 45:01Speaker 2: now you can go and fill those holes. Fill those holes.
- 45:04Speaker 2: The Raiders, unless they're willing to spend a whole bunch
- 45:06Speaker 2: of money, next year is going to be another rebuild
- 45:08Speaker 2: year for them as well. Get the quarterback. If you
- 45:10Speaker 2: see there's a quarterback in this draft, you take them,
- 45:13Speaker 2: eat it, and try to draft as well as possible
- 45:16Speaker 2: while grinding people in free agency. That's where if you
- 45:19Speaker 2: could have a great team if you don't have a quarterback,
- 45:21Speaker 2: you're going nowhere.
- 45:22Speaker 8: You just said Mac Jones and Malik Willis. Those are
- 45:24Speaker 8: two hot names on this so great.
- 45:26Speaker 2: That's a great point to my point. Bringing back my point,
- 45:30Speaker 2: I like that.
- 45:31Speaker 6: I think you signed That's a clean take.
- 45:33Speaker 2: It's a clean take by Mitch Carsley.
- 45:34Speaker 8: I feel like you signed one of them, and like
- 45:37Speaker 8: Mac Jones, they're both still very very young. But like
- 45:40Speaker 8: they got rid of their best receiver and Jacobe Meyers
- 45:43Speaker 8: sent him to Jacksonville. Their only receiving threat is Brock
- 45:46Speaker 8: Bauers and Michael Meyer. Like you need an outside guy.
- 45:49Speaker 8: I feel like they need an outside wide receiver. They
- 45:51Speaker 8: just drafted a running back in Nash and Gent. I
- 45:53Speaker 8: don't know if they want to get rid of Max
- 45:55Speaker 8: Crosby because he's their only thing on defense. Granted you'd
- 45:58Speaker 8: get a lot more for him, but like, I think
- 46:01Speaker 8: you need to sign one of those two and then
- 46:03Speaker 8: just like have a stupid amount of money to like
- 46:06Speaker 8: spend in the off season.
- 46:07Speaker 2: I haven't reached out to Max, but it definitely feels
- 46:11Speaker 2: outside looking at it, there's some there's some anger taking
- 46:14Speaker 2: place between the team and him.
- 46:15Speaker 1: There's been friction going on through headlines and graphics and
- 46:19Speaker 1: how he left the facility who wanted.
- 46:23Speaker 2: Yeah clean, trying to be clean a better takes right?
- 46:26Speaker 1: Yeah, clean take.
- 46:29Speaker 2: But yeah, I like I like that. I like getting
- 46:31Speaker 2: a guy, but I also like drafting a guy, developing
- 46:33Speaker 2: a guy. Who's who are you bringing as a coaching draft?
- 46:36Speaker 2: As it flores and dable, like, if those are the
- 46:39Speaker 2: two catcher bringing in, that would be awesome.
- 46:41Speaker 1: Maybe you go get Jameis Winston.
- 46:46Speaker 2: A trade for Joe Burrow would be massive. That's you
- 46:49Speaker 2: throw everything out the window.
- 46:52Speaker 6: You think that would be a player for.
- 46:54Speaker 2: That's a great take. It's a clean take by Jeremy Clump.
- 46:56Speaker 6: You think it'd be Joe Burrow for Max Crosby, you
- 46:59Speaker 6: think it would.
- 46:59Speaker 2: Just that's that's not a one for one. Like Max
- 47:02Speaker 2: Is he's a defense player that you're caliber player. But
- 47:05Speaker 2: we're talking about Joe Burrow, Like, Joe Burrow is a franchise.
- 47:08Speaker 6: What do you think you need? On top of that?
- 47:12Speaker 2: You want to keep Max if you can, and I
- 47:14Speaker 2: think you if you had the opportunity and you're the Raiders,
- 47:18Speaker 2: I wouldn't be like give him your draft, We'll take
- 47:22Speaker 2: Joe Burrow. We'll go spend money in free agency. Now,
- 47:27Speaker 2: you're looking at a team that's like, yea, we might
- 47:29Speaker 2: be making the playoffs here, what's up? Spell?
- 47:31Speaker 1: I'm just I always get nervous with these, dude.
- 47:33Speaker 2: I'm with you every time I grab them.
- 47:34Speaker 1: You don't got a straw. It'll leak on you.
- 47:36Speaker 2: It'll leak, it'll drip.
- 47:38Speaker 1: Yeah, peeve of mine, dude, Yeah, yeah, yep.
- 47:44Speaker 9: We got another tier talk for you, guys.
- 47:47Speaker 1: Joe Hollister at Joe Holliser thirty seven on x hashtag
- 47:50Speaker 1: tier talk. How hard is it to play a game
- 47:52Speaker 1: you know means nothing. I don't know if you guys
- 47:54Speaker 1: ever went through it, but that's always interesting to me.
- 47:56Speaker 1: New Year's resolution was to read more. I know, Willie
- 47:58Speaker 1: one shelf is off to a hot start.
- 48:00Speaker 6: Oh yeah, you reading.
- 48:01Speaker 1: I read a couple of books. I'm in the middle
- 48:03Speaker 1: of so two books. I've joined the uh forty plus
- 48:08Speaker 1: Caucasian women year old to read They Let Them Theory,
- 48:12Speaker 1: I know it's a hot one for the older women.
- 48:14Speaker 1: And then uh Terminalist Terminalist. I'm on page one of
- 48:21Speaker 1: Terminalists right now, the first one, the first book.
- 48:24Speaker 2: I'm reading that too. Dave got me that for Christmas?
- 48:27Speaker 1: Uh Jack Carr, Yeah, yeah, sent me an entire box
- 48:31Speaker 1: with the entire series. No shre like what ten books? Yeah,
- 48:35Speaker 1: he had a whole Yeah. First, my first fiction one
- 48:37Speaker 1: I've ever read.
- 48:38Speaker 2: Jack Carr did not send me shit. Dave la One
- 48:41Speaker 2: got me those books, and I'm like, Terminalist.
- 48:45Speaker 6: This is your first fiction book ever.
- 48:47Speaker 1: I'm sure I read one when Harry Potter and I
- 48:49Speaker 1: was legit. I'm sure I read them for like a
- 48:52Speaker 1: book report or something in school. But as far as
- 48:55Speaker 1: being an adult and reading, I've I've always went into
- 48:58Speaker 1: nonfiction personal development stuff like that. I've never read fiction books,
- 49:04Speaker 1: and I've always kind of like laughed at people who do,
- 49:07Speaker 1: because my wife is a massive fiction reader.
- 49:09Speaker 6: Like you just get like a little movie in your head.
- 49:11Speaker 6: You just lock in it.
- 49:13Speaker 1: That's what's fun about reading Terminalist is because I've you guys,
- 49:15Speaker 1: don't I've rocked the series on Amazon Prime, which I
- 49:20Speaker 1: highly recommend. But getting to read it now, I think
- 49:22Speaker 1: it's like I am seeing the light on the books
- 49:27Speaker 1: being better than the than the movie.
- 49:29Speaker 2: You're becoming that guy.
- 49:31Speaker 1: I just I'm enjoying it because I know what happens,
- 49:33Speaker 1: and there's a lot more details in the book that
- 49:36Speaker 1: you don't see in the TV series.
- 49:37Speaker 2: I will say this The Terminalist in the beginning when
- 49:41Speaker 2: the guys gets assassinated in the car, but chapter one, yeah, buddy,
- 49:46Speaker 2: like three pages in shit just goes haywire in a hurry.
- 49:49Speaker 1: And the thing with fiction books too is I feel
- 49:50Speaker 1: like chapters are shorter because they got like eighty chapters.
- 49:53Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, I mean just like yeah, because I feel
- 49:57Speaker 2: like I feel like, I don't know if it's a
- 49:59Speaker 2: guy thing, but like you're I'll read a chapter a night,
- 50:01Speaker 2: but when that chapters three pages, You're like, I'm kind
- 50:03Speaker 2: of doing something. The way I read that's twenty five minutes.
- 50:07Speaker 8: With how i'll read, it's like I'll see, like, all right,
- 50:09Speaker 8: how far how many chapters can I read in?
- 50:10Speaker 6: Like twenty pages? All right? Four?
- 50:12Speaker 2: Oh?
- 50:12Speaker 1: Bet, Like that's yeah. I feel like the.
- 50:15Speaker 8: Non fiction books like a chapters like thirty five pages, like.
- 50:18Speaker 2: The Fuck Yeah and Your Boys.
- 50:20Speaker 9: Yeah yeah, I read fourteen chapters last night and little
- 50:24Speaker 9: they know that was twenty eight pages.
- 50:25Speaker 1: Or you know, right right, read.
- 50:31Speaker 2: Bro this Terminal List book. I think the first chapter
- 50:33Speaker 2: was no joke, like four pages. It was like one flip,
- 50:36Speaker 2: two flip, next chapter.
- 50:38Speaker 6: Yeah, So how hard is it? To play.
- 50:39Speaker 2: No, No, it was chapter one. I saw it because how
- 50:42Speaker 2: hard is it just.
- 50:43Speaker 6: Play the game?
- 50:43Speaker 1: You know, means nothing?
- 50:45Speaker 2: Have you ever been that situation?
- 50:47Speaker 1: Yeah, say yeah a couple of times? For me, it
- 50:49Speaker 1: was never. It was never hard to play a game
- 50:52Speaker 1: that that meant nothing, because I always had to think
- 50:55Speaker 1: of it as you're playing for the next season, you're
- 50:57Speaker 1: playing for the next staff, or if that staff is
- 50:59Speaker 1: going to be there. You're trying to play build as
- 51:02Speaker 1: much equity as you can with that current staff and
- 51:04Speaker 1: put good stuff on tape.
- 51:06Speaker 2: For me, I've only been in that situation like one
- 51:08Speaker 2: or two times. And we were playing the Saints Week sixteen,
- 51:12Speaker 2: this is when they're sixteen games, or Week sixteen or seventeen.
- 51:15Speaker 2: There was one more game after this, but because there
- 51:17Speaker 2: was an NFC opponent the game, this game really didn't
- 51:19Speaker 2: matter to make the playoffs. It was Houston or whoever
- 51:21Speaker 2: the next week that really mattered. So going into the game,
- 51:25Speaker 2: I think Derek only played like a half, AJ only
- 51:28Speaker 2: played a little bit, and I played the entire game,
- 51:31Speaker 2: And that second half was very difficult for me to
- 51:33Speaker 2: play because I was like, well, I can't come.
- 51:36Speaker 1: Out because the playoffs were already.
- 51:38Speaker 2: The playoffs weren't started yet, but we were in a
- 51:40Speaker 2: position where, hey, this NFC, this where AFC team playing
- 51:44Speaker 2: the NFC the way these things are, if we win
- 51:46Speaker 2: or lose this game, it has zero effect on whether
- 51:49Speaker 2: or not we make the playoffs. Though, I think that
- 51:50Speaker 2: makes the most, like matters the most is this last
- 51:53Speaker 2: AFC South game we're going to play. Yeah, So these
- 51:56Speaker 2: guys played like a half and then they took them out,
- 51:59Speaker 2: and then I was still playing That second half was difficult,
- 52:02Speaker 2: so it felt more like a preseason game for you,
- 52:03Speaker 2: felt more like a preseason game. But it mattered, and
- 52:06Speaker 2: it was we're in December. It mattered for everybody watching.
- 52:09Speaker 2: It counts. You're in regular games, So that that was
- 52:12Speaker 2: more difficult for me. Preseasons hard to play them. But
- 52:16Speaker 2: games that don't matter, No, No, it's not really that
- 52:20Speaker 2: hard to play.
- 52:24Speaker 6: With those.
- 52:25Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, it's all about momentum going into next year.
- 52:29Speaker 9: What do you mean, Hey, it might not mean anything,
- 52:32Speaker 9: but as far as momentum goes going into next year,
- 52:34Speaker 9: it means everything.
- 52:36Speaker 3: We're building on our momentum.
- 52:38Speaker 1: That's just my take.
- 52:39Speaker 9: It might not be a clean one, Okay, not the
- 52:42Speaker 9: cleanest not the cleanest.
- 52:45Speaker 2: This one comes from Steven at Sergeant Sgt. Sergeant Scuba
- 52:51Speaker 2: twenty two hashtag tear talk. Are we serious about? Mg
- 52:54Speaker 2: breaking the sack record might be the softest thing I
- 52:56Speaker 2: have ever seen since Charman came out with toilet paper.
- 52:59Speaker 2: I all to think NFL records are out of control.
- 53:02Speaker 2: H We'll preathesies the first lift haended twenty seven year
- 53:06Speaker 2: old to make five catches for twenty five plus yards
- 53:08Speaker 2: while jacking off. Dude, I don't know what the hate
- 53:14Speaker 2: is for Miles Garrett not getting the sacred That's nuts.
- 53:17Speaker 1: Dude, Miles Garrett breaking the sack recker and I get
- 53:20Speaker 1: I love Shraham being like I got in sixteen games
- 53:22Speaker 1: he got in seventeen games, right, But again, Miles Garrett
- 53:25Speaker 1: generational pass rusher, possibly the greatest when his time is up,
- 53:30Speaker 1: possibly the greatest rusher that we will ever see. The
- 53:33Speaker 1: fact that he got this record on the Browns who
- 53:36Speaker 1: are never playing They're always playing from behind, so teams
- 53:39Speaker 1: are always running the ball in the second half. He's
- 53:41Speaker 1: the entire game plan when offenses are going out there
- 53:44Speaker 1: and scheming against him offensively, Dude, he is a stud.
- 53:49Speaker 2: Yeah, it's monumental. Yeah, what Miles Garrett was able to
- 53:52Speaker 2: accomplish and you brushed over it. If you're in a
- 53:55Speaker 2: team that never plays with the lead, it is impossible
- 53:58Speaker 2: to beat the sackrecker. That's exactly what he did.
- 54:00Speaker 1: He's an alien.
- 54:01Speaker 2: He's an alien.
- 54:02Speaker 1: He's got a pipe on him too, hie dog.
- 54:07Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a clean that's a clean take. So yeah,
- 54:10Speaker 2: Miles Garrett his record. Listen, brother, I think that's unbelievable.
- 54:14Speaker 1: What's trump and soft about Miles Garrett going crazy about
- 54:16Speaker 1: Miles Garrett's.
- 54:17Speaker 8: I kind of thought it was like Joe Burrow. I
- 54:20Speaker 8: guess kind of like fell. I don't know if that's
- 54:21Speaker 8: kind of how.
- 54:22Speaker 2: That's a real sack he because he got around the tackle.
- 54:25Speaker 8: I think that's what might be kind of like how
- 54:27Speaker 8: Brett Favre did the same thing for straight straight hand,
- 54:30Speaker 8: Like I feel like they're trying to equate it that way.
- 54:34Speaker 8: I think I'm I'm all on board that this is
- 54:36Speaker 8: an unreal record.
- 54:37Speaker 2: Yeah, the Farv straighthand thing, I can definitely get behind
- 54:40Speaker 2: Farv kind of waddling off to the right and falling
- 54:42Speaker 2: down and straight and touching him. I can get behind that.
- 54:44Speaker 2: Conspiracy theory. Nothing about this to me was him not
- 54:48Speaker 2: earning that sack record seventeen games. I get it, but
- 54:51Speaker 2: let's not forget that like two games prior that he
- 54:53Speaker 2: had no sacks, like he had the opportunity in like
- 54:57Speaker 2: early December to beat the sack record one game away
- 55:00Speaker 2: from doing it.
- 55:01Speaker 3: People were big mad about them stopping the game too.
- 55:03Speaker 3: I don't know if you guys.
- 55:04Speaker 2: Have a tea, Yeah, I saw. I saw Jamar Chase.
- 55:06Speaker 4: And the head coach what's his name something, Taylor, Zach
- 55:10Speaker 4: Taylor was super mad about it too. You didn't think
- 55:12Speaker 4: they should have stopped the game for him breaking a record,
- 55:14Speaker 4: So I don't think so.
- 55:17Speaker 1: No, I think they're keeping him.
- 55:18Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, they were talking about.
- 55:19Speaker 1: That's what it leads me to think that Joe b
- 55:21Speaker 1: is not going anywhere.
- 55:22Speaker 4: What do you guys think though, stopping a game for
- 55:24Speaker 4: a big record being broken, it's good.
- 55:28Speaker 1: I mean, I see both sides.
- 55:30Speaker 2: I see both sides. If you're gonna do that, you're
- 55:32Speaker 2: the referees, and you just tell the coaches, Hey, if
- 55:34Speaker 2: he does get the sack record, we're gonna we're gonna
- 55:36Speaker 2: stop the game. Because I think that's what they're most
- 55:37Speaker 2: mad about is. They didn't say anything, but clearly, yeah,
- 55:40Speaker 2: it should have been a penalty. Whatever it was, kid,
- 55:42Speaker 2: give him the penalty, but that is something that should
- 55:44Speaker 2: be celebrated.
- 55:45Speaker 3: Bengal should decline the penalty.
- 55:47Speaker 1: Obviously, it's a game. All the rules are the same,
- 55:49Speaker 1: Like you want to see him the same and you know,
- 55:52Speaker 1: treat him equal everything else. But if that game meant something,
- 55:54Speaker 1: I could understand Coach Taylor's sentiment on the whole thing.
- 55:58Speaker 1: But the fact that that game meant nothing Miles Garrett
- 56:00Speaker 1: getting the sack record, then.
- 56:02Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the that's the old that's like besides Bengals
- 56:05Speaker 2: fans and Browns fans, that's why the casual fan tunes
- 56:07Speaker 2: into that game as to see if Miles Garrett gets sackered.
- 56:10Speaker 2: We were talking about bets right before the noon slate
- 56:13Speaker 2: hit and I was like, this is the bet and
- 56:15Speaker 2: it was Miles Garrett over zero point seventy five sacks,
- 56:18Speaker 2: so I had to get one full sack. And I
- 56:19Speaker 2: was like, this.
- 56:20Speaker 9: Is the one stopping it? Like did they fully stop it?
- 56:23Speaker 9: And like do an ISO camera shot on him?
- 56:26Speaker 1: And like center for.
- 56:27Speaker 2: Half the the team came on the field. They're celebrating
- 56:29Speaker 2: he's dapping guys up.
- 56:31Speaker 1: They ran, they ran a ceremony by.
- 56:34Speaker 9: Okay, I was at the Cowboys Thanksgiving game where that
- 56:39Speaker 9: dB broke the pick six record, Don Leonard?
- 56:45Speaker 2: Is that what you said?
- 56:45Speaker 1: Bland?
- 56:46Speaker 9: But all they did was just like iso him on
- 56:49Speaker 9: the sideline and announced it over the intercom.
- 56:52Speaker 1: That's usually what happens. That's probably you know, yeah again,
- 56:55Speaker 1: I get. I get the sentiment Coach Taylor's talking about all.
- 56:58Speaker 1: The only reason I don't necessarily cares because as that
- 57:00Speaker 1: game men absolutely nothing. Yeah where you got?
- 57:04Speaker 2: Yeah right, Yeah, you're going to kN kun after this?
- 57:06Speaker 1: Yeah, run good, get out of here.
- 57:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I got the last tier tar last tyear talk
- 57:10Speaker 2: comes from Connor at zc G twenty fifteen, hashtag tear talk,
- 57:16Speaker 2: which would be a bigger f you to the Titans organization.
- 57:18Speaker 2: Rabel AJ Brown super Bowl or Henry A. J. Brown
- 57:22Speaker 2: Super Bowl PS twenty twenty six years. Resolution is to
- 57:25Speaker 2: grow my brand grid Iron Gilly with followers, likes and engagement.
- 57:29Speaker 2: Will shout out good Iron Gilly, shout out chasing a dream.
- 57:32Speaker 2: That's what we want out here.
- 57:35Speaker 1: Henry A. J.
- 57:35Speaker 2: Brown super Bowl will not be happening this year. Can't
- 57:38Speaker 2: do it. Ravens didn't make the playoffs. Uh so I
- 57:41Speaker 2: guess the bigger f you would be the Rabel aj
- 57:44Speaker 2: A J.
- 57:44Speaker 1: Brown super Bowl. Yeah. Rabel's success in general, it's always
- 57:49Speaker 1: got Yeah. I feel like it kind of keeps Titan's
- 57:50Speaker 1: stands up a little bit.
- 57:51Speaker 2: Every win that Vrabel gets is an few to the
- 57:54Speaker 2: Titans organization, which is tough.
- 57:57Speaker 1: Yeah, the success that that team has had, which what
- 58:02Speaker 1: Jack just clumbs over point then you like go ahead
- 58:05Speaker 1: and say something.
- 58:06Speaker 10: I'm like, yeah, it'd be it'd be variable, obviously, in
- 58:09Speaker 10: my opinion, you'd be more even just seeing one of
- 58:12Speaker 10: these individuals get a super Bowl. We've already seen aj
- 58:14Speaker 10: win a Super Bowl and be in a super Bowl.
- 58:17Speaker 10: If Rabel's in it, especially after the current say of
- 58:19Speaker 10: the Titans and how things transpired two.
- 58:21Speaker 3: Years ago, yeah, I'd be happy for him. Though I'm
- 58:24Speaker 3: not gonna sit here and like cry or something.
- 58:26Speaker 6: Milk.
- 58:27Speaker 10: It's like, good job, Rapes, come back on the bus,
- 58:29Speaker 10: talk about.
- 58:29Speaker 2: It, Come back on the bus and talk about chop
- 58:32Speaker 2: your piece off like a man. Yeah, be a man,
- 58:34Speaker 2: be a man of your word. Yeah, gotta have it,
- 58:39Speaker 2: gotta have it.
- 58:40Speaker 1: What uh? On the on the uh subject of Vrabel
- 58:43Speaker 1: in New England Patriots. Does anybody have strong opinions on
- 58:46Speaker 1: the m v P with Stafford and Drake May.
- 58:49Speaker 2: I I think after this weekend last week, Drake May,
- 58:53Speaker 2: this week, it's now Matthew Stafford just swing the pendulum. Yeah,
- 58:56Speaker 2: I mean I'm swinging like Fando sportsbook right now. You
- 58:59Speaker 2: see how they went. I think Drake was the clear front. Yeah, yes,
- 59:05Speaker 2: and then it was everybody else. Now it's I think
- 59:07Speaker 2: Drake May was plus one forty and then Matthew Stafford
- 59:11Speaker 2: was minus one seventy five. I understand it, Like this
- 59:14Speaker 2: is when the race is so tight between two individuals,
- 59:16Speaker 2: whoever has the better game, it's gonna flip. And Matthew
- 59:19Speaker 2: Stafford was at four touchdowns.
- 59:22Speaker 1: I think he had four, yes, yeah, I had four yesterday.
- 59:25Speaker 2: It's like, yeah, he just.
- 59:26Speaker 5: Has significantly more touchdowns than Drake May this year.
- 59:29Speaker 2: Like that's that's where it's That's where it's getting out
- 59:31Speaker 2: of hand because the argument for Drake May is look
- 59:35Speaker 2: what he's doing with his receiving core that he has.
- 59:37Speaker 2: And I think that is a hell of an argument.
- 59:39Speaker 2: What's that? And it's a year two all that It's
- 59:43Speaker 2: like Stafford. I think his stats have gone above and beyond.
- 59:47Speaker 2: Will you now need to look at it be like, Okay, yeah,
- 59:49Speaker 2: Stafford's the guy. Now they both Rams lose and the
- 59:53Speaker 2: Patriots win or vice versa. I think that has a
- 59:55Speaker 2: massive implications this week. Is everything Well?
- 59:58Speaker 5: Worried me for Drake May when I saw that Tyler
- 1:00:01Speaker 5: Shuck has more three hundred yard passing games than Drake May,
- 1:00:06Speaker 5: which is like one or two, And I'm like, if
- 1:00:09Speaker 5: you're going to have and Drake May definitely deserves like
- 1:00:11Speaker 5: the MVP. He's played phenomenal, but I feel like to
- 1:00:14Speaker 5: get the MVP, you have to have those games where
- 1:00:16Speaker 5: it's like five touchdowns four hundred yards, you just light
- 1:00:20Speaker 5: up the stat sheet.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: But yeah, but he's also like north of seventy percent
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: of his offense like Drake May. Both of them, Stafford
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: and Drake May have had incredible seasons. And when I
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: think of the MVP, it's like who is the most
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: valuable player in the NFL. And also like on your team,
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: Like to me, it's arguable that like Matt Stafford, as
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: awesome as he is, Poka Nukua is arguably the best
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: player on the Rams team. You also got Devonte Adams,
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: Kyron Williams, an offensive minded McVeigh. And that's not me
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: trying to pull away from what Stafford has done. I
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: just think if you took Stafford on that team and
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: obviously had you need to have a competent quarterback because
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: Stafford is a badass on the Los Angeles Rams. But
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: that team's still gonna be good. Like you removed Drake
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: May from the New England Patriots, They're gonna be the
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: New England Patriots that everybody predicted before the season. Not
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: one network, nobody had the Patriots winning the AFC East.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: Nobody had the Patriots. They were gonna maybe compete for second,
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: some less I saw third, but nobody expected the Patriots
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: to be any good. Everybody across the board had the
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: Rams going to the playoffs, and the Rams are in
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: the playoffs. Stafford has had an incredible season and he's
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: always been a really good quarterback. Drake made to me,
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: it's like again them going wold they go last year
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: four and thirteen. The turnaround that they've had and how
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: they've exceeded everybody's expectation. I want to say the sportsbook
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: had them at over under was what seven and a
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: half eight and a half wins on the year, but
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: not making the playoffs the way that this team has played,
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: the way Drake May has played. And again, all these
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: predictions about New England not being very good this year
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: was also when the preseason they predicted them to have
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: a week's schedule, So they've just they've murdered that. And
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: there's only been three quarterbacks all time to lead the
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: NFL in yards per attempt and completion percentage. That was
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: Kurt Warner, it was Tom Brady, and now it's Drake May.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: And again I I you can get into the weeds
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: and the numbers on all of it. There's arguments for
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: both sides. I just think Drake May is the most
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: valuable player in the NFL and especially for his team.
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: Everything you said I agree with, But the stats is
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: the part where it starts to separate from me. With
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: fifteen more touchdowns, and I think the lesson exceptions correct
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: the same amount of interceptions. Yeah, that that's that's why
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: I'm like, yeah, okay, I agree, you're right. No, but
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: the whole argument of like a week a week NFL schedule,
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: it's like, bro, it's the NFL, Like everyone's good. That
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: pisses me off if it's college, I completely understand the
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: college thing.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: Where it hurts it too is getting to play the
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: Jets twice and they had zero exceptions, all like but
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: a lot over the Patriots coming out of the division
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: this year.
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: And Matthew Stafford played in the hardest division in all
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: of NFL this year, and.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: Again Stafford rams third in their division, and again they
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: still made the playoffs. But the Patriots, like every everybody,
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: it was the Bills and Josh Allen, everybody us included,
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: like we kind of predicted that, oh, Patriots could probably
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: compete for second place, but everybody saw it as a
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: very much.
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: This is Josh Allen, This is Josh Allen the Bills.
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: This is the year to win the Super Bowl, right.
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: And they're now sitting there. They were fighting for the
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: one seed the last week of the season, but they're
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: sitting there with the two seed. They what was their
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: overall record? Fourteen and three? Yeah, yeah, I mean they've
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: exceeded everything. And you talk about numbers, and again when
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: you get in the weeds, it's like Stads Stafford had
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: again had an unreal year. But I took a screenshot
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: of one off of next Gen stats. But Drake made
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: passer rating by situation. Overall, he's first with the one hundred
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: and twelve point nine QB rating twenty plus deep balls,
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: twenty plus yard deep balls. He's first under pressure. He's
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: first on the road. He's first when trailing. He's first
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: inside the pocket. He's first outside the numbers. Throwing outside
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: the numbers, he's second. That's the sticks. He's first verse
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: so on coverage, he's first verse under pressure versus blitch.
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: He's first sub packages, first on straight drop backs, he's
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: first tight windows. He's second. On first downs, he's first outdoors,
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: he's first. Two high safeties he's fourth, and on third
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: and fourth down he's fourth. People are getting so into
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: the weeds and all this stuff. But Drake May is.
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: Unbelievable, unbelievable, unbelievable. It just to me, it's that one
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: number because all the arguments, it makes sense both ways.
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: And I think Drake May means more to his team
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: than Matthew Stafford's means to his team because I think
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: the Rams have a better football team top to bottom. Yeah,
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: the Digs, Mac Collins, Henry Dog, Dark Booty, like Booty's
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: catching deep like.
- 1:04:41Speaker 5: To me, it's very similar to the Josh Allen situation
- 1:04:44Speaker 5: in Buffalo.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: Yeah that yeh screenshot two was from It was a
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: tweet posted by NFL researcher NFL Underscore researcher just to give,
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: just to give.
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: Give, give some flowers. Uh, it's unreal, unreal, unreal. But
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: the fifteen more touchdowns is where I in the octagon,
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: May is bodying old man Stafford.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: People hanging on him, escaping the pocket, Like the dude
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: has got like that. He's just got like that Superman
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: element to where he can do everything.
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: I'm with you, dude, everything you said makes a whole
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: lot of sense. The only thing I just keep hating
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: my hat on is like the MVP is coming up
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: and you throw both the statutes up and like player
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: A versus Player B, and it's like you don't see
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: the players. You're gonna pick Stafford every single time. And
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: that's what sucks, because I do think Drake May what
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: he's been able to do. When we went to their
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: training camp this year and we looked around at the
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: talent level being in locker rooms like that, We're like, Oh,
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: this is the team that's going to compete for second place,
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: like they don't have necessarily the loster to be successful. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: kudos to them. Like we're rooting for Rabel, We're rooting
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: for the big turnaround. No one saw this coming and
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: that's I mean, that's clearly McDaniel's VRABEL culture. Everything that's
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: taking place has been a huge help. But nothing, none
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: of this truly happens without Drake Man what he's been
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: able to do this year.
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: Josh could be, could be.
- 1:06:07Speaker 3: Drake May wins m v P, Matt Stafford wins Offensive
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: Player of the Year.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: It's gonna What sucks too, is there's been some cats
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: at unbelievable years like Christian McCaffrey js N yep, I'm
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: sure Miles Garrett, but the defense they'll never win the But.
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: I'm saying, but I'm did he beat a record like
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: this massive record? I think there should be some sort
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: of like consideration.
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: For m v P.
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: On the Browns we got a wrap. Let me know
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: in the comments, does hey, does Miles Garrett deserve deserve
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: some sort of consideration for m v P broke us
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: all time Stafford has been held for twenty years. It's hey,
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: it's a conversational it's a conversational take all right, let's
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: get the Jim Beam Customs segment, the taste of the
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: off season right now, my friends, it's time to taste
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: the off season brought to you by Jim Beam. Because
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: when your team gives you lemons, you make Jim Beam
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: and lemonade. Do I need to read the read?
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: That's it. We gotta we gotta pretend we're poorn. We
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: gotta pretend we're pouring one out for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers,
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: pointed out, we pour it on the side. Possibly a
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: moment of silence.
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: Moment, Let's have a moment of sounds for the Tampa
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: Bay Buccaneers.
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: Thank you, Tampa Bay.
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: Can I just walk you through the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: for just a moment. Early in the season, Baker Mayfield
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: was kind of an MVP front runner for a little bit.
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: He had four count of four last drive comebacks to
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: win games early in the season. I think for the
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: last six games, injuries started to take place. Mike Evans
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: catch yourself a soft tish issue. Who's the running back?
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: Bucky Irving, he catches himself an injury. He's out for
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: the big meat and potatoes. Of the season. Baker Mayfield.
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: You see right before the Bible he's got a shoulder
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: issue going on. Honest, he's playing the Houston game. He
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: falls on his knee. He can tell he's in a
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: lot of pain. But some guy standing over him, and
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: he won't let that happen. So he stands up and
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: gets in the guy's face, comes back and wins that game. Boys,
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: they had everything right in front of him, and now
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: they're in Cancun. So our hearts, our souls, our prayers,
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: and our thoughts go out to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: Could have been something.
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: Special this year. Another sad thing about the Tampa Bay
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: Tell me it could have been Levonte David's last game
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: on the football field. Leavonte David one time Pro Bowler,
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: which is crazy, One time first team All Pro, which
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: is insane, Two times second team All Pro.
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: Crazy.
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: Somebody that won't have those prime highlighted accolades when he
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: gets five years removed and he comes into the Hall
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: of Fame conversation, but he will go down as the
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: most underrated player in NFL defensive history. Can I read
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: something like it? Read something I took some notes?
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: Please put some Is it behind this.
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: As far as bucks all time leader. He leads in
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: force fumbles with thirty three. Derek Brooks is second with
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: twenty five funcal recoveries. Levonte David has twenty. Rendez Barber,
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: somebody that we all know, was second on the all
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: time list with eleven tackles for loss one hundred and
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: seventy seven. The next closest guy was Gerald McCoy with
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: seventy nine. When you look at Levonte David, he's had
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: thirty five career takeaways. That's in company with two guys
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: Ray Lewis and Brian Urlacker forty plus sacks. It's thirty
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: five career takeaways and forty plus sacks. Only three guys
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: have ever done that, Ray Lewis, Brian Urlacker and Levonte David.
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: He's one of two players with fifteen hundred tackles, forty sacks,
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: and ten interceptions, one of four players with forty plus sacks,
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: thirty fource fumbles and ten interceptions. I read the Pro
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: Bowl First Team up role, second team most underrated defensive
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: player of all time in college two time All American
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: Big Ten Linebacker of the Year. He's the Big twelve
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: newcomer year because he only played two years and it's
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: like number five top time or all time in leading tackles,
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: behind like Barret Rude. I think, play all four years.
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: But Leavonte David will have a strong case and he
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: will be argued because if he never gets in, this
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: will be something that everybody argues for the rest of time.
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: Is on if Levonte David should be in the Hall
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: of Fame.
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: Every stat you had about him, and the people that
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: were either in front of them are right behind him,
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: all Hall of famers. Yeah, and you didn't even bring
- 1:10:36Speaker 2: up his greatest accolade, which was twenty six tackles against
- 1:10:38Speaker 2: the Michigan Wolverines in twenty twelve. Six.
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: Everybody in this room had half the heart that Levonte
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: David did, we would have beat that Michigan Wolverine's team. Boys,
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: talking about Levonte.
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: We have a very special guest about to come on
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: the show in a span of less than a minute,
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: so we are going to jump off.
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: Can I just say this one again? God, one of
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: two players fifteen hundred tackles, forty sacks and ten interceptions.
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: The only other guy is Ray Lewis gold Jacket. I
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: had to say that again. Ray Lewis, Ray, Lewis bro
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: thirty five career takeaways and forty plus sex. Only three
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: guys have ever done it, Brian Rlecker, Ray Loose and
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: Lavonte David.
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: No, you're absolutely right. Come on, he should be a
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: Hall of Famer, should be a Hall of Famer.
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: I wonder if he's gonna play another year or not.
- 1:11:26Speaker 3: Can I want one thing on the Bucks?
- 1:11:29Speaker 4: So they're fans, you know, it was a rough end
- 1:11:31Speaker 4: of the year, but they can savor knowing that they
- 1:11:33Speaker 4: have Baker Mayfield still. Next year he'll be back. They
- 1:11:37Speaker 4: got some good pieces. They might lose a future Hall
- 1:11:39Speaker 4: of Famer, but the Bucks do have a good roster,
- 1:11:42Speaker 4: deep wide receiver room. Bucks fans should feel happy eight
- 1:11:45Speaker 4: to nine won the division this year, So they got
- 1:11:47Speaker 4: a chance next year.
- 1:11:48Speaker 3: You know, you know, you got a chance.
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: They always got a chance in the NFL.
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: What the Saints are gonna be better next year. Saints
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: are gonna be a better squad next year. Falcons will
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: see who their next head coaches. Anyway, any who, any who,
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: We gotta go busting with the boys tomorrow. Kyle Whatityham's
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: coming on the show?
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: Kevin Byerd, Kevin fans, Come on, Buckle.
