Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: You're listening to k I AM six forty the Bill
- 0:03Speaker 1: Handles show on demand on the iHeartRadio app.
- 0:08Speaker 2: I'm starting food, Glorious food.
- 0:13Speaker 3: Do you know how to cook?
- 0:14Speaker 2: Or do you just know how to put trash in
- 0:17Speaker 2: the oven and then put it on a plate.
- 0:19Speaker 4: It's Friday with Nil Savangra on the mill Handle Showy Fie.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Friday Morning, March twenty seven. Some of the big big
- 0:30Speaker 1: stories we're looking at TSA agents are going to start
- 0:34Speaker 1: getting paid. We're all it's going to take a few days.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Right now, the lines are still insane at the airports,
- 0:43Speaker 1: and they had the Senate had no choice, The legislator
- 0:48Speaker 1: legislature had absolutely no choice. Both sides of the political
- 0:54Speaker 1: spectrum are going nuts. So TSA got caught in the
- 0:57Speaker 1: middle and you get caught in the lines.
- 1:00Speaker 3: There's that one.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Also, Governor Gavin Newsom just signed a bill there's no
- 1:04Speaker 1: longer Caesar Chavez Day in California. It's now farm Workers Day.
- 1:09Speaker 1: And there's a move among certain women in California to
- 1:14Speaker 1: have the president or have the governor sign sex workers Day,
- 1:19Speaker 1: which okay makes sense to me. All right, now it's
- 1:24Speaker 1: time for Foody Friday tomorrow from two to five o'clock.
- 1:28Speaker 1: It is the Fork Report with Neil Savedra, and every
- 1:33Speaker 1: Friday from eight to eight thirty we do Foody Friday
- 1:36Speaker 1: and then ask handle anything from eight thirty to the
- 1:39Speaker 1: end of the show.
- 1:40Speaker 3: Okay, Neil, we start. Now this is interesting.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Yesterday I was shopping and I was going past I
- 1:49Speaker 1: was in the baking aisle and I saw Jiffy cornbread
- 1:53Speaker 1: mix and I almost bought it, and I went na,
- 1:58Speaker 1: you know what, I don't like traditional corn bread mixes
- 2:00Speaker 1: because I like a very light cornbread, not dense at all.
- 2:04Speaker 3: So I'm a Marie Calendar's guy.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Oh you like Jiffy. Okay, Jiffy is actually nice. And
- 2:12Speaker 2: then I'm gonna teach you one more thing. Jiffy also
- 2:16Speaker 2: makes a yellow cake mix the same size box, harder
- 2:23Speaker 2: to find. But if you put two tablespoons of that
- 2:28Speaker 2: yellow cake mix into the Jiffy corn bread mix and
- 2:35Speaker 2: then do it as per the instructions, it makes it
- 2:38Speaker 2: even lighter and makes it almost a little sweet and
- 2:45Speaker 2: very very nice.
- 2:46Speaker 3: Oh that sounds really good.
- 2:48Speaker 2: Just a little hot tip. But the reason it Jiffy
- 2:51Speaker 2: is here is they've got a new flavor and I
- 2:54Speaker 2: haven't seen them launch a new flavor in some time.
- 2:56Speaker 3: But they have the new smoked mackerel corn.
- 3:01Speaker 2: No, that's so nasty. They have a new hot honey
- 3:08Speaker 2: corn muffin mix. So it's sweet and spicy. And you know,
- 3:12Speaker 2: all you're doing is adding eggs and milk to these things.
- 3:16Speaker 2: And there Jeffy has I mean they've been around since
- 3:19Speaker 2: nineteen thirty. They've been making these little boxes. And I've
- 3:23Speaker 2: known restaurants that serve this. It's just good. Jeffy makes
- 3:29Speaker 2: a good little box of cornbread and is a little lighter,
- 3:32Speaker 2: it's not as dense. It has a smaller crumb, not
- 3:36Speaker 2: the larger crumb. So I think it's a nice middle
- 3:40Speaker 2: of the road cornbread.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Well, and oh, let me tell you, I love this idea. Now,
- 3:47Speaker 1: Jeffy makes that the cake mix. I'm assuming you can
- 3:51Speaker 1: use any yellow cake mix. Yeah, that sounds good. And
- 3:56Speaker 1: then one of the things that I people do a
- 3:59Speaker 1: lot in restaurants Kalipino cornbread.
- 4:04Speaker 3: Yeah, that is very popular.
- 4:06Speaker 1: And uh is that just basically cornbread and a spicy,
- 4:10Speaker 1: spicy Jilipino is kalapano.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Okay, it's it's all right. Listen, Why start pronouncing things
- 4:18Speaker 2: properly today.
- 4:19Speaker 3: Yeah, that's true. Okay. Back to Kalipino, all right, fair enough.
- 4:23Speaker 2: Kalipino sounds like an ethnicity. I think he's Jalipino.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Yeah, that's funny, or you have a Jalapino all right,
- 4:33Speaker 1: all right, so I'm gonna do that. By the way,
- 4:34Speaker 1: I am absolutely next time I go to the shopping
- 4:36Speaker 1: it's going to be cornbread and I am going to
- 4:39Speaker 1: buy some yellow cake mix.
- 4:42Speaker 2: Jiffy's a good Yeah. I like their corn bread mix
- 4:45Speaker 2: a lot. Okay, I will give it a shot.
- 4:47Speaker 3: I will. Now, something called frambled eggs. Did you get that?
- 4:53Speaker 2: Is that a typo?
- 4:55Speaker 3: Is that? Or is that a thing?
- 4:57Speaker 1: No?
- 4:57Speaker 2: So this is going viral. And these viral things make
- 5:00Speaker 2: me laugh because I've been frambling eggs since I can remember. Now,
- 5:05Speaker 2: there's two different things. When I framble an egg, it's
- 5:08Speaker 2: part fried, part scrambled. The description that is used often
- 5:13Speaker 2: when you say frambled is that you don't pre scramble them.
- 5:17Speaker 2: You crack the whole egg into a pan and you
- 5:21Speaker 2: scramble them in the pan, So they're part fried, part scrambled.
- 5:27Speaker 1: So I've always called that scrambled eggs because at the
- 5:31Speaker 1: end they look exactly like, and aren't they ambled eggs.
- 5:36Speaker 2: I like frambled eggs, especially if I'm making things like
- 5:40Speaker 2: a breakfast burrito, because now you have actual whites and
- 5:45Speaker 2: actual yellow, but it's not runny like a fried egg,
- 5:51Speaker 2: and so it's it's not mixed as densely you do get.
- 5:56Speaker 2: It's not like all one color yellow. You get some whites,
- 5:59Speaker 2: you get some deep yellows, you get some mids. However,
- 6:02Speaker 2: this person that went viral, what they do is they
- 6:06Speaker 2: cracked two eggs in there and they scramble them in
- 6:08Speaker 2: the pan, but they leave one yolk whole, and then
- 6:15Speaker 2: you get the best of both worlds. You get the
- 6:18Speaker 2: scrambled eggs, and then you get one yolk that is
- 6:22Speaker 2: not cooked all the way through that kind of pops
- 6:24Speaker 2: and gives all that unctious goodness.
- 6:27Speaker 3: Yeah, I would think that.
- 6:28Speaker 1: That's not easy to do, to not have the yolk
- 6:32Speaker 1: run But it just occurred to me. If you put
- 6:36Speaker 1: a couple of eggs into a very hot skillet and
- 6:41Speaker 1: it starts to brown at the bottom and then you
- 6:43Speaker 1: scramble it, you'd get that crispiness that you would not
- 6:46Speaker 1: get with scrambled eggs.
- 6:48Speaker 2: Correct, And some people add butter to their scrambled eggs.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Some you know, French style traditional light fluffy scrambled eggs
- 6:58Speaker 2: have either cream or milking them. So it depends what
- 7:02Speaker 2: people put people like. Some people whip them up real
- 7:05Speaker 2: fluffy and like them a little loose. Some people like
- 7:08Speaker 2: to overcook them and make them very dense. It depends
- 7:13Speaker 2: on what your interests are.
- 7:15Speaker 3: William, how about how about putting vegemite in the eggs.
- 7:20Speaker 2: I wouldn't use vegemite as shoe glue.
- 7:24Speaker 1: I don't know if you've ever had vegemite and why
- 7:28Speaker 1: it is the most disgusting thing on the planet. Although
- 7:33Speaker 1: people look at hagis and I actually like hagis.
- 7:38Speaker 2: It's cultural. Man. If that's what I grew up with,
- 7:41Speaker 2: then it brought you comfort. Great. I'm sure they're true.
- 7:44Speaker 2: You know, there's a lot of people, what is it
- 7:47Speaker 2: root beer? If you go to parts of Europe, they
- 7:50Speaker 2: freak out about the taste of root beer because that's
- 7:53Speaker 2: the taste of their toothpaste.
- 7:56Speaker 3: Okay.
- 7:56Speaker 1: And then of course in the South, you go to
- 7:59Speaker 1: any seven eleven, you'll see fifteen different kinds of grape soda.
- 8:05Speaker 1: You can't even find grape soda in southern California.
- 8:09Speaker 2: Yeah, you can in the stores. Very difficult, there's not
- 8:12Speaker 2: much of it. I like grape soda. Is that like
- 8:14Speaker 2: a black reference? No?
- 8:17Speaker 3: No, but thanks for bringing that up. Thank you for
- 8:19Speaker 3: bringing that up. You racist.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Oh you go into oh Mississippi. Yeah, in the large
- 8:25Speaker 2: grape soda. Yeah they're big everybody.
- 8:28Speaker 3: Yeah, grapes.
- 8:29Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 8:30Speaker 3: Just leave me alone on that. Good for you. By
- 8:32Speaker 3: the way, the emails are now you reference Neil as
- 8:35Speaker 3: making a right reference.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Okay, all right, coming back, super stuffed pop part pop tarts.
- 8:43Speaker 3: That's a weird one.
- 8:45Speaker 1: These are yeah, these are someone likes pop tarts, right Amy, Okay, yeah, yeah,
- 8:50Speaker 1: super stuffed. We'll be back with that as we finish
- 8:54Speaker 1: up Foody Friday on this Friday, caere fine, I am
- 8:59Speaker 1: a six four bill handled. It's Friday, March twenty seven,
- 9:02Speaker 1: which means it's foody Friday, followed by as candle anything
- 9:07Speaker 1: at the bottom of the hour. And the big story
- 9:09Speaker 1: recovering is the TSA agents are going to be paid.
- 9:14Speaker 1: The Senate last night cut a deal, so both sides won,
- 9:20Speaker 1: both sides lost, and it doesn't matter. The big winners
- 9:23Speaker 1: are TSA agents and they deserve to win.
- 9:27Speaker 3: Big time, and we.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Now no longer have Caesar chad As Day. It is
- 9:32Speaker 1: now farm Workers Day here in California.
- 9:35Speaker 2: Oh.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Also, I've talked about this just this last segment, which
- 9:39Speaker 1: you can podcast regards tomorrow.
- 9:43Speaker 3: Over thirty one hundred No Kings.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Day demonstrations are going to happen across the United States,
- 9:50Speaker 1: and we'll talk about that on Monday.
- 9:52Speaker 3: What it went, how it went?
- 9:54Speaker 1: Okay, let's go ahead and finish up Foody Friday with
- 9:57Speaker 1: Neil Savedra and me. Neil heard on his own food
- 10:01Speaker 1: show tomorrow two to five o'clock, The Fork Report, And
- 10:06Speaker 1: this one's for Amy new super stuffed pop tarts. Yeah
- 10:12Speaker 1: all right, boy, explain that one, Lucy.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Well, you know how they have like sixteen different levels
- 10:17Speaker 2: of oreos. You have the Oreo thins, and then you
- 10:20Speaker 2: have the Oreo regulars. Then you have double stuff, then
- 10:23Speaker 2: you have sapword triple, quadruple stuff.
- 10:25Speaker 3: Yeah it's half, it's half. The cookie aisle, yeah, it's
- 10:28Speaker 3: store all.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Yeah, they have the vanilla ones and then the birthday
- 10:33Speaker 2: cake flavor or whatever. All smoke mackerel, yeah, smoked mackerel
- 10:38Speaker 2: and mint. But well, pop tarts in April, they'll be
- 10:43Speaker 2: coming out with their super stuffed version now they say
- 10:46Speaker 2: they're fifty percent more filling than the originals.
- 10:51Speaker 6: Uh.
- 10:51Speaker 2: And so they have a couple of flavors. They have
- 10:55Speaker 2: the molten lava cake. They have cinnamon caramel that sounds
- 10:59Speaker 2: good to strawberry blast. And these are going to be
- 11:05Speaker 2: a big deal now that the cinnamon caramel, my understanding
- 11:10Speaker 2: is that's going to be exclusive to Walmart only. But
- 11:13Speaker 2: the others I think you're going to be able to
- 11:15Speaker 2: find all over the place. So pretty crazy. They look good.
- 11:19Speaker 2: I mean they look like I like pop tarts. They're
- 11:21Speaker 2: just big, fatty pop tarts.
- 11:24Speaker 3: Let me ask.
- 11:27Speaker 1: This issue of these new items coming out. Used to
- 11:30Speaker 1: be where a new item would be introduced as part
- 11:34Speaker 1: of the sales that would go on as part of
- 11:38Speaker 1: the menu if you will, that was promoted and sold
- 11:43Speaker 1: to the public.
- 11:44Speaker 3: And today there are so many. We're doing this for
- 11:47Speaker 3: two weeks or three weeks.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Is this one of those where it's a limited time
- 11:53Speaker 1: and then they off the shelves that goes or are
- 11:55Speaker 1: they literally trying to see if it's a winner and
- 11:59Speaker 1: it becomes a permanent part of the of the menu
- 12:02Speaker 1: if you will.
- 12:03Speaker 2: Well, the reality is any of these things can be
- 12:06Speaker 2: they're they're looking for money and people to talk about them.
- 12:11Speaker 2: I've not seen anything that has a specific stop date
- 12:15Speaker 2: on any of these things. The reality is if they
- 12:18Speaker 2: work out, great, they're going to be around. If they don't,
- 12:22Speaker 2: they won't, you know, because you're investing. Keep in mind
- 12:26Speaker 2: every tray that bakes these things. Anytime you change something
- 12:31Speaker 2: about the shape or the size of something, that can
- 12:35Speaker 2: change the baking process time. Obviously, the filling costs in
- 12:39Speaker 2: this and if they don't think they're going to get
- 12:42Speaker 2: that back or at least get a marketing push by it,
- 12:46Speaker 2: then why do it. But this isn't one of those
- 12:49Speaker 2: things that starts with hey limited time. My understanding is
- 12:55Speaker 2: at this point it is just a new style. Some
- 12:59Speaker 2: time ago, they came out out with the ice cream,
- 13:01Speaker 2: the pop tarts ice cream sandwiches. I think we talked
- 13:04Speaker 2: about where it's ice cream between two pop tarts. So
- 13:09Speaker 2: they're experimenting because you know, a lot of these things
- 13:13Speaker 2: are losing favor because different generations grow up with different
- 13:17Speaker 2: comfort foods and maybe they're not taking the way they
- 13:22Speaker 2: used to.
- 13:24Speaker 3: Okay, fair enough, and this is not for you to
- 13:27Speaker 3: comment on.
- 13:29Speaker 1: It's just I am going to simply say that Costco
- 13:34Speaker 1: the worst day in the history of the United States,
- 13:37Speaker 1: far worse than the day that women were allowed to
- 13:40Speaker 1: vote or Pearl Harbor. And that is the tea bottle
- 13:45Speaker 1: rolls of Costco have shrunk. Oh thelation, yeah, just it
- 13:53Speaker 1: just destroyed me when they and then the sandwich. They
- 13:55Speaker 1: have that turkey and Provoloni sandwich at the food court
- 13:58Speaker 1: which is really good and that is not the big
- 14:02Speaker 1: honk and roll it used to have.
- 14:03Speaker 3: It smaller it is shake place.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Well, I've just noted that because yesterday when I went
- 14:10Speaker 1: to Costco, I had that sandwich because I do my
- 14:14Speaker 1: my Yeah, it's smaller. I do you know Costco I
- 14:16Speaker 1: do twice a week instead of therapy. I gave up
- 14:20Speaker 1: therapy being and I find it going to Costco far
- 14:23Speaker 1: more effective. Okay, guys, we're humanity, Yeah, the humanity of it.
- 14:27Speaker 3: We're gone. We're done.
- 14:29Speaker 2: Coming up.
- 14:30Speaker 1: It's ask handle Anything, and it's complete humiliation on my part,
- 14:36Speaker 1: and that's what it's about.
- 14:37Speaker 3: We will return.
- 14:39Speaker 4: You're listening to Bill Handle on demand from KFI AM
- 14:43Speaker 4: six forty.
- 14:46Speaker 1: On a Friday morning, March twenty seven. Time for ask
- 14:49Speaker 1: handle Anything where you record questions. We record your questions.
- 14:56Speaker 1: Neil then chooses which one we're going to broadcast. Asked,
- 15:00Speaker 1: and I listened to him for the first time, as
- 15:03Speaker 1: you are, as you are doing, and I get to
- 15:06Speaker 1: answer them, and I'll answer virtually everything. A few things
- 15:10Speaker 1: I won't answer, but pretty much virtually everything. Four and
- 15:13Speaker 1: a half inches for example. Okay, I'm embarrassed, but you
- 15:16Speaker 1: know I'll do that, Okay, Neil or Sam?
- 15:20Speaker 3: Number one, Hi build us is for ask candle anything.
- 15:25Speaker 2: What are some expressions you can't stand either overused words
- 15:29Speaker 2: that you know that have been used to the point
- 15:31Speaker 2: of cliche or that you just just don't like to
- 15:33Speaker 2: stund up.
- 15:34Speaker 3: Thanks, you know what's a good question? I don't know what.
- 15:40Speaker 3: What cliches do I use constantly?
- 15:44Speaker 1: You know?
- 15:46Speaker 3: There you go? There, Yeah, there you go. I can't
- 15:49Speaker 3: stand that one. That's why I use it. Yeah, there
- 15:51Speaker 3: you go. Or let me ask you this. I do
- 15:54Speaker 3: that a lot. He's completely dead, he completely dead, very strong.
- 15:58Speaker 7: Amy.
- 15:59Speaker 3: Yeah, I hate all of them. I hate all of them,
- 16:01Speaker 3: and I use all of them cold. How about this work.
- 16:04Speaker 1: I'll tell you a cliche that I can't stand. Let's
- 16:09Speaker 1: go to the news with Amy in the KFI newsroom.
- 16:13Speaker 3: All right, okay, all right, no, why can't you stand
- 16:16Speaker 3: that that should be the highlight of your day.
- 16:18Speaker 1: It is the highlight of my day. I just wanted
- 16:20Speaker 1: to make fun of you. Okay, okay, next question, Hey.
- 16:24Speaker 2: Bill, any truth to the rumor that you visit your
- 16:27Speaker 2: star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame every day and
- 16:30Speaker 2: polish it?
- 16:32Speaker 3: Wow? Well, unfortunately that is true.
- 16:37Speaker 2: I do not.
- 16:38Speaker 3: Only do I do that. Everybody passes that passes by,
- 16:42Speaker 3: I go, hey, look at that.
- 16:44Speaker 1: You know who that is?
- 16:46Speaker 3: That's me?
- 16:48Speaker 1: Okay, I don't care those No, no, you don't understand.
- 16:51Speaker 1: People walk by and go, who the hell is that?
- 16:53Speaker 1: Originally I was going to take you.
- 16:55Speaker 3: I'll tell you what.
- 16:55Speaker 1: My original photo that I was going to frame, and
- 16:58Speaker 1: I was talking to Neil about it is. I would
- 17:01Speaker 1: have a homeless guy, clearly homeless, and there would be
- 17:06Speaker 1: a photo from behind him showing the tattered, tattered legs,
- 17:13Speaker 1: and then a stream going in front and hitting the
- 17:16Speaker 1: star and then splashing.
- 17:18Speaker 2: That was my.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm sure since you got it a couple of times. Yeah,
- 17:25Speaker 1: when I have people, yeah, people from out of town
- 17:27Speaker 1: want to see it. Yeah, I'll go back. Sure, I mean,
- 17:31Speaker 1: it's a very dangerous neighborhood.
- 17:32Speaker 3: You die.
- 17:33Speaker 1: People don't understand this. Yeah, let me tell you how
- 17:36Speaker 1: it works. And now here's the little inside baseball for you.
- 17:39Speaker 1: That's another phrase inside Baseball, and that is the Walk
- 17:44Speaker 1: of Fame starsh It's geographical. It's like real estate location,
- 17:51Speaker 1: location location. So if you're a hot shot and you're
- 17:55Speaker 1: an a lister, you're in front of the Pantagious Theater.
- 17:59Speaker 1: I am a far away from the pantagious theater as
- 18:03Speaker 1: you can get East Hollywood where originally.
- 18:08Speaker 3: We were in front.
- 18:08Speaker 1: It was in front of a gay men's store. If
- 18:10Speaker 1: you remember now it is a memorabilia store and you
- 18:14Speaker 1: can't see it most of the time because there's some
- 18:17Speaker 1: homeless guy living on it.
- 18:19Speaker 2: So geography don't even like that neighborhood. Yeah, let's kind
- 18:24Speaker 2: let's go to b Arthur's.
- 18:26Speaker 1: And I'm next to and I'm next to and I
- 18:29Speaker 1: am not making this up. I am next to the
- 18:31Speaker 1: star of a two hundred and fifty pound opera singer.
- 18:36Speaker 1: This woman that was big in the thirties. She sounds
- 18:39Speaker 1: like she was really big in the thirties. She was
- 18:41Speaker 1: big in the thirties. Don't say why they picked that area.
- 18:45Speaker 1: It's like sixty it's like six six four zero. Yeah
- 18:49Speaker 1: it was, but it was still in front. It was
- 18:50Speaker 1: still a crappy area. Yeah it's still Yeah, didn't didn't
- 18:54Speaker 1: do much, Okay, grateful? I am ungrateful. Yeah, it's true.
- 19:00Speaker 1: So I point to it and I go, hey, am
- 19:02Speaker 1: I a bitching guy or what?
- 19:03Speaker 2: That's me?
- 19:04Speaker 3: That's me, no self esteem none whatsoever. I'll be back.
- 19:08Speaker 3: We'll be back and we'll finish up Ask Handle Anything,
- 19:13Speaker 3: Cafi handle here.
- 19:14Speaker 1: It is a Friday, March twenty seven, and we finish
- 19:19Speaker 1: our last segment of the show as we do on Friday,
- 19:21Speaker 1: with Ask Handle Anything, where your questions are recorded during
- 19:26Speaker 1: the week and Neil chooses the most embarrassing questions and
- 19:31Speaker 1: I answer them. Sam.
- 19:33Speaker 3: Who is here today?
- 19:35Speaker 1: Sam?
- 19:35Speaker 3: Next question?
- 19:37Speaker 8: Hey, Bill Handle. This is John in North Carolina, formerly
- 19:41Speaker 8: of southern California. I saw you and Rich Murda at
- 19:47Speaker 8: a best buy back in the early two thousands, and
- 19:50Speaker 8: I was wondering, what was your pants size?
- 19:53Speaker 3: Then?
- 19:54Speaker 8: I was sporting a forty four, but you look like
- 19:58Speaker 8: you are probably three four maybe ten inches bigger than
- 20:01Speaker 8: that in the waist.
- 20:03Speaker 2: What was your waist size. Hmm.
- 20:06Speaker 1: Yeah, there was a time when rude I weighed three
- 20:10Speaker 1: hundred and ten pounds before I had by a bariatric
- 20:12Speaker 1: surgery twenty years ago. So we go a long way back.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Rich Barato was our sports guy. Was part of the show.
- 20:19Speaker 1: I mean it was just sports, sort of incidental, but
- 20:21Speaker 1: he was part of a big part of the show.
- 20:22Speaker 1: He would say, yeah, he's a big guy.
- 20:25Speaker 3: Not not like me.
- 20:27Speaker 2: Rich is a fit guy.
- 20:29Speaker 1: Oh yeah, he's fit. I thought he said big. I
- 20:33Speaker 1: was my waist if I remember, could have been a
- 20:38Speaker 1: forty six. I weighed three hundred pounds forty six, that's
- 20:43Speaker 1: it forty yeah, yeah, because I really had tight tight pants. Yeah,
- 20:49Speaker 1: so I was Yeah, it was huge. Just a good question, Will,
- 20:54Speaker 1: how big are your pants? I think that's appropriated. That
- 20:58Speaker 1: is a personal question only is I'm not asking you
- 21:01Speaker 1: anything else. Was wayeize, Will, if you want to share it.
- 21:06Speaker 5: I squeeze into like a forty right now, but please, really,
- 21:10Speaker 5: I squeeze. Come on, you're having I could get into okay,
- 21:15Speaker 5: forty two maybe at the most I couldn't get into
- 21:18Speaker 5: forty two.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Yeah you forty two like I'm having, Like I'm Rex
- 21:22Speaker 1: the Wonderhorse Okay in any case, Uh. Next, Yeah, forty
- 21:27Speaker 1: four I think, no, forty six. I think it was
- 21:29Speaker 1: big big boy.
- 21:30Speaker 3: I was a big boy.
- 21:31Speaker 9: Okay, Next question, Bill, I heard on that you had
- 21:36Speaker 9: a pretty good and successful shindig at your house. I
- 21:39Speaker 9: guess was Saturday, and the comment was how you had
- 21:44Speaker 9: a lot of food left over. So my question to
- 21:48Speaker 9: you is this, Bill, did you make any efforts to say, like,
- 21:51Speaker 9: with that leftover food to distribute, say.
- 21:54Speaker 2: To the homeless, feed the homeless, or did you just
- 21:56Speaker 2: throw it away?
- 21:58Speaker 3: Feed the homeless? Are you kidding?
- 22:03Speaker 1: I wouldn't have even considered feeding the homeless. First of all,
- 22:07Speaker 1: we'd have to have the homeless at my house, so
- 22:09Speaker 1: there's no they couldn't get through the gate. We wouldn't
- 22:12Speaker 1: let homeless people. We actually asked that question. You have
- 22:15Speaker 1: to be certified that you have a home before you
- 22:18Speaker 1: get through my gate.
- 22:19Speaker 2: You don't find homeless people and you're part of Orange County.
- 22:22Speaker 3: No, we don't.
- 22:23Speaker 2: There are no homeless Anna.
- 22:25Speaker 3: Maybe yeah. You know what they do.
- 22:28Speaker 1: They bring in homeless people for newscasts and then immediately
- 22:32Speaker 1: send them back.
- 22:33Speaker 2: Everybody. Actually, if I remember correctly, lindsay put together take
- 22:38Speaker 2: home bags for everybody.
- 22:40Speaker 1: Yeah, we did because there was an enormous amount of
- 22:41Speaker 1: food and Neil arranged all the food. Wild Fork was
- 22:44Speaker 1: there and just anaheim Whitehouse, good check.
- 22:50Speaker 3: You could have asked you left a little early, Amy,
- 22:53Speaker 3: you could.
- 22:53Speaker 1: Have asked you ever noticed you could people asked for leftovers? Okay,
- 22:58Speaker 1: next question? Now, yeah, so what right, Bill?
- 23:02Speaker 3: A question for ass handle anything?
- 23:04Speaker 7: Is your new house down in Orange County as gotti
- 23:07Speaker 7: and edious as the Persian Palace was? I think you
- 23:11Speaker 7: got all the gold and the figurines and the just
- 23:15Speaker 7: absolutely hideous, ugly stuff at this new house that you
- 23:21Speaker 7: did at the old one.
- 23:22Speaker 3: Okay.
- 23:23Speaker 1: First of all, of course you weren't at my house
- 23:25Speaker 1: because you would have no chance to be invited to
- 23:28Speaker 1: my house. That's for starters. Second of all, the Persian
- 23:32Speaker 1: Palace was pretty understated.
- 23:36Speaker 2: It was not wood.
- 23:38Speaker 3: It was wood, It was not Gotti. The reason I.
- 23:40Speaker 1: Called it the Persian Palace, here's our inside baseball again.
- 23:44Speaker 1: The reason I called it the Persian Palace because we
- 23:47Speaker 1: belonged to a synagogue that was about forty percent Persian Iranian,
- 23:53Speaker 1: and we made very good friends with the other Iranian parents,
- 23:58Speaker 1: and so it was just a yats to them. That's
- 24:01Speaker 1: it the Persian Palace. That name was as a screw
- 24:06Speaker 1: you to my Iranian friends. They came in and go, wait,
- 24:11Speaker 1: this is where are your chandeliers?
- 24:13Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 24:13Speaker 1: By the way, you described their houses perfectly, I might add,
- 24:19Speaker 1: I don't know if you've ever been to an Iranian house, man,
- 24:23Speaker 1: they outdo themselves.
- 24:25Speaker 2: They baroque.
- 24:27Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean it is there are there are literally
- 24:30Speaker 1: are marble columns inside the house.
- 24:35Speaker 3: I mean, do that one.
- 24:36Speaker 1: I think we're done, guys, so let's just do one
- 24:40Speaker 1: more really quickly, Sam, do we have one more quick?
- 24:42Speaker 3: Quick?
- 24:43Speaker 2: Quick? Hey, Bill, just a quick question.
- 24:45Speaker 6: I remember another caller asking if you ever chastised Neil
- 24:50Speaker 6: for some of the things he said, and you say daily, Well,
- 24:53Speaker 6: my question to you is this week you talked about
- 24:58Speaker 6: women douching and and how it has something to do
- 25:03Speaker 6: with Zelman's Yeah, did you get Chestis for that?
- 25:06Speaker 1: No? I did not, No, and NEI and by the way,
- 25:09Speaker 1: and Neil you know didn't he should have because I
- 25:12Speaker 1: was talking about his wife.
- 25:14Speaker 3: But in the end, oh yeah, she All right, now
- 25:24Speaker 3: we're done. I'll get by the way, I will get
- 25:26Speaker 3: Chestis for that one.
- 25:27Speaker 1: Okay, coming up, Gary and Shannon tomorrow morning, it's a
- 25:31Speaker 1: Handle on the Law from eight to eleven, Neil from
- 25:34Speaker 1: two to five with the Fork Report.
- 25:36Speaker 3: On Monday, we come back once again with this show.
- 25:40Speaker 1: Amy and Will, who is very spelt Amy spelled yeah,
- 25:46Speaker 1: Amy and Will from five to six wake Up Call,
- 25:49Speaker 1: and the rest of us here from six to nine
- 25:53Speaker 1: except Cono and Ann who were always here.
- 25:55Speaker 3: So it's Neil and I jump in at six to nine.
- 25:57Speaker 3: Now there you go.
