- 0:53[SPEAKER_01]: So this is a good night to get the band back together here in the dead heat of June.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it is dead heat, it is dead heat, man.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_01]: Hopefully you guys are all staying cool out there, staying safe in the heat, it's been crazy.

- 1:10[SPEAKER_01]: They're jumping into random rivers and it's like, not get air conditioning is 2026, like all of Europe, just doesn't have air conditioning.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_01]: We have some Europeans on here that listen, like, what do you guys do it?
- 1:23[SPEAKER_01]: It's not that hard, you just get a unit, and you plug it in, then you're cooler.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_01]: Just do it.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_04]: And then eventually it falls out of your window if you don't install it properly.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_04]: Not a big deal.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_01]: We've only been a country for 250 years.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_01]: We've got air conditioning already.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_01]: What are you guys waiting on?
- 1:40[SPEAKER_01]: So there's to make one that over a lot of people, man.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_01]: So I did not plan on starting the episode like that tonight, but here we are, when you're in the law of the offseason, sometimes you just, you know, go off for ants, catch an astray, catch an astray.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_01]: But we'll continue on with an actual episode here.

- 2:53[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not even professional enough to get through the opening.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_01]: You're rough.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_01]: So I am rusty and I get like four and a half to five hours of sleep a day.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_01]: So here we are.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_01]: But before we dive into this episode and talk about the browns, I just want to look at the camera and say, LeBron, come home.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_00]: That's why I don't leave Lancert.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_00]: I know you're listening.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_01]: I know you're listening.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_01]: I know you're listening.
- 3:22[SPEAKER_01]: I would imagine.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going out on limb, but you probably one of our biggest fans.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_01]: Come home.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_01]: We need you.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_01]: You'd fit like fit us like a glove right now.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_01]: We need a small forward.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_01]: It would just be chef's kiss.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_01]: Come home.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_01]: Right off into the sunset with another title.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_01]: So that's my personal plea to Lebron.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_01]: Come back.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_04]: Can't, can't write the script any better than coming back home for the reunion tour.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_04]: I guess, you know, the last run.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_04]: Come home.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_01]: So before we dive into, you know, Brent current Browns news, league news, all that stuff.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_01]: I know Justin had a topic he wanted to get into.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_01]: So what Justin, what is it that you wanted to rent about to the people raised?
- 4:07[SPEAKER_04]: It's not even a rant.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_04]: I just, you know, I was on YouTube like Monday and, you know, Johnny Manzel pops up.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_04]: And it's Johnny and he's talking about, you know, fighting this battle of does he hate Cleveland, does he not?
- 4:21[SPEAKER_04]: And he basically just said, you know, I'm over it.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_04]: Screw it.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_04]: I hate Cleveland.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not getting over it.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_04]: I hope they go in 16 every season.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_04]: And just kind of just, you know, my thing though,
- 4:33[SPEAKER_04]: We're we're talking 10 years down the road plus and we're talking about a guy that in college was an electric one of my favorite guys to watch in college like up there with Cam Newton's and stuff like that you tuned in on Saturdays for to watch Johnny Manzel to come to Cleveland
- 4:52[SPEAKER_04]: and have the crew that he did where he I mean now we have proof you have watching Netflix documentary where he's saying I didn't watch any film he wears like a badge of honor and he's excited just happy that you know he could scope by and I just I don't understand how a guy can continue to hate a franchise.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_04]: in a city and a fan base that the fan base never did really anything got behind them like they do with every stinking quarterback that we've had over the last 20 years and rally behind the guy and for him to be like screw Cleveland fans screw the city at Cleveland bro you didn't do anything you put zero effort into what you could have been you could have been our guy for years but you didn't put anything into it all I'm saying
- 5:39[SPEAKER_04]: Johnny football has taken some accountability for his career in Cleveland.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_04]: We know it was dysfunctional.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_04]: We heard the stories.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_04]: We know the Shayna Ham power point stuff.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_04]: We know all that.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_04]: We followed this team our whole lives, but it didn't help that you brought zero to the table.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_04]: you're doing coke and then going to meetings.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_04]: None of that mess with what we're trying to do, bro.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_04]: You can root against Cleveland, you can say that guys did your wrong in the organization, and maybe they did.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_04]: But at the end of the day, the fan base never did anything to you, and for you to actively still root again, so at 16 at the end of the day, I think there is remorse on his career about how things went.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_04]: You can't be mad at anybody else and you can't be mad at another team because nobody else took a chance on you because it was so bad in Cleveland other than the CFL, sorry.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_01]: And this is a, you, you said, you know we were dysfunctional.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_01]: We were so dysfunctional that we drafted you.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_01]: And force you to play when you weren't ready when we were doing well with the right lawyer.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_01]: We're so dysfunctional that you showed up to a workout after a bender.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_01]: with no receivers or anything.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_01]: You're just throwing to like your agent and the browns are like, this tracks, I think we'll take this guy in the first round.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_01]: That's how dysfunction we were.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_01]: The only reason you were on an NFL team in the first round is because the browns were dysfunctional.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_01]: That being said, I've been a Johnny Manzell, like Defender, I've always had a soft spot for Johnny.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_01]: It's crazy to me.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_01]: I think there are way more people he should dislike than Cleveland.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_01]: But without everybody, it takes to say an M who just enabled you to be the worst version.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_01]: There is a huge reason why you didn't make it in an NFL.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_01]: They knew you weren't doing anything by the book.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_01]: They knew you were lying and getting paid.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_01]: They knew all this stuff.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's
- 8:00[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like he should be way more upset with them than he is with anybody in Cleveland.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_01]: They gave you a chance.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_01]: We drafted you in the first round.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_01]: We brought you into the team.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_01]: All you had to do is just not sneak to Vegas and put on classes and a fake nose.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_01]: And you could have been a starting quarterback in the NFL.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_00]: I don't wish the 4th.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_00]: Chad Powers.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't understand like, I don't understand like his anger is misplaced.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_01]: Like we didn't do you dirty.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, we drafted you in the first round, so like, I think there's a lot of guys, a lot of adults who took advantage of a 17-18-year-old Johnny Manzel and built careers off of him and then just threw him away whenever it was going south.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_01]: That being said, like you do still have to take some accountability for the fact that you did nothing.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_01]: You got lost in a New York nightclub for like four days.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_01]: No, nobody knew you came walking out.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_01]: It was like the scene at the, in varsity videos where they come out of the club, they're like, oh, what the hell?
- 9:03[SPEAKER_01]: Like that was Johnny Menzele, every single day he was in Cleveland.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_01]: So I, I just don't understand like why the anger is pointed at us.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_01]: It seems like it's all on Cleveland.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_01]: Like if you were to went anywhere else, he would have been good.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_01]: No, because you went to the CFL and you were terrible.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_01]: You never played good football anywhere else.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_01]: So, I don't know, I have empathy for the fact that a lot of people kind of let him down when he was like a young kid, but at the same time, you still have to take some accountability for the fact that...
- 9:37[SPEAKER_01]: you were an adult who got drafted into the NFL and then you snuck to Vegas with a fake nose and glasses on.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_01]: It's like you were going to get away with it.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_01]: So it's just I don't understand his misplaced anger with with the Cleveland organization and the fans.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_01]: It does make a sense to me.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, that dude's just got to build a bridge and get over it.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, we live rent free in his head.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_03]: It's been like 12 years, 14 years since he's been here.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_03]: Like, why are we still talking about this?
- 10:05[SPEAKER_03]: And, you know, he was a guy that came out of university and he basically, he had suspect intangibles, man.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_03]: You mean, was the guy in college?
- 10:14[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I go to university college.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_03]: Whatever, man, we're going to university.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_03]: I did send that a purpose.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_04]: You should have said University of Wales.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_03]: But he was never a leader by example and that's what he needed to be the carry that quarterback position.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_03]: He had a huge sense of entitlement.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_03]: He was a prima Donna and like we kind of got what we deserve to for drafting the guy, man.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_03]: But I'm over it.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_03]: He should be over it.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm done with Johnny Manzell.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_03]: I don't need to hear about that guy again and see you later Johnny, man.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_04]: Absolutely.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_01]: So I think, Josh, let's see everything to add.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_01]: I guess I'm glad Justin, you put that out there.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_01]: I know some Browns media was ripping in this week, so we figured we'd jump on the trend.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, no.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_00]: Not like he's taking shots at Cleveland or anything, you know?
- 11:13[SPEAKER_00]: It's funny because that's a clip that was, or a podcast he was on months ago.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_00]: You know, and the grill is kind of resurfaced here this week and got all the traction, but still, it's always worth re-looking at the situation saying, dude.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_00]: Like everything you guys said, Blake, you laid it out perfectly.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_00]: you know, you kind of made some bad choices.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_04]: So if you didn't want to be with the Browns, maybe not send him a text message during the draft, uh, wreck the league, you know, the league.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_04]: It's just maybe not do that.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_04]: Let's wait, see if Dallas wants to take you in, uh, you know, their second round pick.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_01]: whatever.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll move on to some more not Cleveland Browns news.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_01]: We've got an update with the Brendan Sour's briefing.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_01]: He's not going to continue any, I guess what litigation or whatever, a lawsuit against the NFL.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_01]: So he's not going to be, unless he goes to the UFL, which I think is the only league that's willing to take him at this point.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_01]: He'll basically just begin his draft prep.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_01]: I know you don't want to get hurt, but what better draft prep would there be than to go play a season of football?
- 12:14[SPEAKER_01]: I guess, so I've as am I to consider it, but I guess if you don't want to get hurt, you know, I guess I understand that part of it, it does put them in play, I guess depending on how the season goes this year, he'll be there, you know, if the Browns have a draft pick next year.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not shocked that he didn't decide to sue his future employer.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_01]: You know, probably not a good look like before you even get into the league.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_01]: You try to take the NFL to court, like probably just let it go.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_01]: Take the butt weapon and just we'll see you next year, you know.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm not surprised he didn't pursue that avenue.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_03]: Well, he did exactly what he needed to do at this point now, like just say your story and be done with it and move on, you know, and then the NFL has laid out that you can hit up your Pro days, you can hit up the combine next year, just get yourself right, because I mean at the end of the day, if he went through Addictions counseling, you're just going to jump right into something maybe not the best bet for him.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_03]: So I think between the NFL, PA, the NFL, and those guys, you know what I mean?
- 13:15[SPEAKER_03]: Like they basically came to a good path for him.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_04]: I'm with it.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_04]: My thing is is what fantasy world are we living in?
- 13:27[SPEAKER_04]: That the guy that bet almost $100,000 during colleges now, like I'm definitely suing that I fell to get into this draft.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_04]: I got to get into this supplemental draft, like I'm with you guys as far as like for him.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_04]: probably the best case scenario.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_04]: He could have got shut down straight up.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_04]: I felt like then I fell on the CFL both kind of made like damming statements like, hey man, not a chance, not a damn chance.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_04]: We're not touching you right now.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_04]: I'm kind of more curious about as far as what his draft stock looks like heading into next year now, because is he still a projected first round?
- 14:01[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I've a lot of baggage, man.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_04]: He's scared to crap out of me as far as like just talking about Johnny football and hey, don't make mistakes out there.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_04]: It just makes me very nervous, you know, actively go after and look into the guy that was just completely betting illegally during his college days.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_00]: I think this would be the thing I'm most interested to watch out plays out because there were a lot of people.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_00]: I think Todd McShade was one of them early on this said, I do a first round pick in the supplemental draft to get him.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_00]: Like he thought he was that good.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_00]: And I feel like opinions were all over the place.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of people said he's maybe a third round pick.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_00]: you know I heard some rumors whether they're true or not that he got feedback from the NFL whoever talent evaluators that told him you're probably a late day to pick so maybe late second round early third round type of and that's why he decided to go back to college this year and didn't enter the draft where's he go you know people wanted to the Browns to potentially bid a first maybe a second round pick on this kid where does he end up going now he's not going to play
- 15:04[SPEAKER_00]: most likely football for a whole year.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_00]: We see what happens to these young quarterbacks.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody pretty much agreed.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_00]: If he's going to be a first round pick, he has to develop this year at Texas Tech.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_00]: And now he does not have that opportunity.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't know, man, it's going to be interesting to see what happens with sores we now.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_01]: That's why I feel like you should consider that UFL route.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's obviously not high-high level competition, but it's competition.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_01]: It's tape, you know, we can see his mechanics.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_01]: It's way better than watching you do pro-daterials for the next year.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it's good to have competition than whoever they're playing, Texas deck was gonna play what we wanted.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_00]: Some of these college teams, you know that.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, sisters of the poor.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, right.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_00]: So that's just a support.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, it'll be interesting to see where it goes.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_01]: I think a lot of it will depend too like how does this quarterback class shake out.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_01]: Because last year this year was supposed to be loaded.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_01]: There's frickin' nobody.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_01]: Next year now, it's supposed to be loaded.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_01]: Who knows if it's actually gonna, you know what I mean?
- 16:13[SPEAKER_01]: Like, he could end up still being like a top two prospect.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_01]: Next year, if all these people fall off the map again.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_01]: So it'll be interesting to see how it plays out.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_01]: So that's moving to some brown stock now.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_01]: We're finally here if you hung with us for the first 15 minutes We're really gonna talk about browns football now.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_01]: The I guess we should just kind of talk right off the rip Do you put any do you think there's any truth to these to Sean or not to Sean?
- 16:44[SPEAKER_01]: I was just Sean.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_01]: They should do or trade rumors because they're just
- 16:51[SPEAKER_03]: A guy at work keeps telling me he thinks they're gonna trade him and I'm like, I would put it near zero percent chance that he's being traded I don't even know where this came from This is just This is just this time of year man like this I mean you got guys like Des Bryant and he's basically saying like he should be traded to this saint Look what
- 17:11[SPEAKER_03]: They spent a number one draft pick on Tyler's shock.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_03]: Why would he even go there?
- 17:17[SPEAKER_03]: But like the biggest thing is, is with the, um, the all these Shador things is they get clicks.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_03]: That's what it is, man.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_03]: And for Shador that was drafted by what we all perceive as Andrew Mary for him to let Shador go and not understand the talent that he
- 17:42[SPEAKER_03]: What do you guys think?
- 17:44[SPEAKER_04]: I think our quarterback room is not solidified outside of him.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_04]: I think that if you trade should or Sanders, you trade away basically any chance of quarterback development and your franchise for one year.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_04]: And I'll listen to the argument all well, you know, well, they're setting up for 2027.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, that's great.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_04]: But like Blake said, how do we know that there's even a guy there for us in 2027?
- 18:09[SPEAKER_04]: I am more invested in Shador than anybody else as far as in our quarterback room.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_04]: That is the only guy that I'm curious and seeing what he can do moving forward.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_04]: I hope to that we get to see the opportunity.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_04]: The biggest argument that I hear with people they're like, well, we need to trade Shador as they're like, he's in a really tight competition with the shine right now.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_04]: And I'm like, okay, that's fine, which we're talking shorts.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_04]: We're talking literally just shorts and a T-shirt competition.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_04]: So you're telling me the 10-year guy that at one point was a legit stud, we're talking about the Sean, is in a neck and neck battle with a second year guy that people think isn't ready to take a step forward.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_04]: And we're not willing to at least see the development moving forward on that.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_04]: It's just mind boggling.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_04]: It's I think it's boring silly season.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_04]: I think people just need to get clicks and they make up be silly.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_04]: There's nothing more polarizing right now than saying brown should trade should or Sanders.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_04]: And that's what it is.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_04]: We're bored and that's it.

- 20:53[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, a lot of it was coming from, well, if he doesn't win the job.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_00]: So, of course, when the job should or the back of, should they just trade him, that right there.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_00]: First of all, I was like, even if Deshawn gets named a week one starter, he's only going to play a couple games.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, before he gets hurt or sucks so bad.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_00]: So, we're going to need somebody else.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_00]: I, I feel like a lot of the media, if you're actually listening, which I don't fully recommend it.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_00]: But reading some headlines here and there, Mary Kay, Tony Rizzo, some of these guys.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_00]: they're starting to talk about well should or he closed the gap in the spring maybe this is a tighter competition maybe he does have an edge in this department or that area or whatever and it's like before the draft.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_00]: Mary Kate was saying after three days of many camp in shorts that they should just name Watson the starter right now boom make him the QB one and she said let's you know let's go off short of short practice.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I need to learn the full offense yet.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_00]: She's out there saying, well I maybe maybe should or rules to it's like oh my gosh like we've been saying it this whole time There's only one quarterback and makes any sense to play this year and it should or Sanders.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you That what I mean, what's the benefit long term for seeing any dish on Watson in the field?
- 22:08[SPEAKER_04]: Like nothing.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_04]: There's none.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_04]: There's none.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_03]: There's none.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_04]: No.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't make any sense.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_01]: In Zack Jackson has put this out.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_01]: He's lying.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_01]: He does it.
- 22:20[SPEAKER_01]: The shot does not look.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_01]: That good.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_01]: there's some there's a couple highlight throws here and there but overall he looks like the same dude who can't throw isn't athletic can't it's all the same stuff that we've seen in every single mini camp so far and he's called it ever since the guy got here he's just been blunt he doesn't sugarcoat it he just tells you what he sees um
- 22:43[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't think like Dishon is just magically going to turn back the clock to 2020 or whatever it was, you know.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_01]: So even if you don't, even if you don't think Sidor can be the guy, even if you don't like it.
- 22:56[SPEAKER_01]: Why would, he's literally the only person on the roster that makes sense to play at quarterback this year.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_01]: I don't anticipate the Browns winning a ton of games whether he plays or he doesn't play, but the sole purpose of this season should pretty much be to see if he is good enough quarterback to be your quarterback to the next year.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_01]: You know, so you can, you can know what to do with your first round picks.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_01]: It's just, it's literally the only sense you're going to trade the guy and roll into a season with the Sean Watson, Dylan Gabriel, and then possibly Taylor and Green, a guy who, I can throw the ball further than.
- 23:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's crazy.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_01]: And so it just, it literally makes, it makes zero sense.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_01]: Whether you think Shador is the guy, if you're one of these people who he can do no wrong, you know, you, or you think he's awful and doesn't even belong on a team.
- 23:45[SPEAKER_01]: If you're just looking at it from like a reasoning standpoint, he's literally going to guy that even makes sense to play this year.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_01]: I wouldn't not play anybody else outside of not going to what he were to be injured.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_01]: Nobody else should play a single snap of quarterback this year.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely not.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_00]: I get an argument with the people on social media.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_00]: They'll say, well, what about Dylan Gabriel?
- 24:04[SPEAKER_00]: You just dismiss him after seven games, whatever is a rookie.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_00]: Why can't we just dismiss Shador?
- 24:09[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, did you watch the games?
- 24:11[SPEAKER_00]: There's a reason why Dylan Gabriel's not even mentioned in this Corbyte competition whatsoever.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_00]: The Browns know he should have never been a third round pick.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_00]: He's not an NFL quarterback.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_00]: Zack Jackson said that last year in training camp.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_00]: And yet he's still got the first team.
- 24:25[SPEAKER_00]: Reps he's still got the nod over Shidorr.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_00]: And we saw how all that played out.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_00]: But you know, I just want to take a quick second and say, the people that I talked to that just hate Shidorr Sanders.
- 24:38[SPEAKER_00]: If I try to ask them why, it's usually nothing about him like, because he's done nothing wrong.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_00]: Has he, except for, as soon as he got drafted, he came immediately to Cleveland, started working out, started getting ready, started going to the area of high schools, started helping out in the community, started meeting up with kids.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_00]: He's doing all kinds of things in the community, first of all, that goes under the radar, because this not publicized.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't put it out there in the media, and I think that's the way he wants it.
- 25:05[SPEAKER_00]: He's working really hard to be a good quarterback for this team.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_00]: And by all accounts that the teammates love him, isn't that what we've always wanted as a quarterback here?
- 25:16[SPEAKER_03]: I'll just say quarterback, bro, a quarterback in an absolutely man.
- 25:20[SPEAKER_03]: Absolutely.
- 25:21[SPEAKER_03]: And like, I don't even know how you, even with Gabriel, like, how do you give anybody a fair evaluation with last year's team?
- 25:28[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I just want to see this training camp.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_03]: I want to see the preseason.
- 25:32[SPEAKER_03]: I want to see how he does with better options.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_03]: Like a better line, you know, I'm sure George Warholps going to put something together
- 25:45[SPEAKER_03]: than what we saw last year.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_03]: And then at quarterback, any of the quarterbacks, hopefully can operate better behind that with the R2 new rookies, you know, with Harold Fanon, because, you know, even last year in the last seven games,
- 26:01[SPEAKER_03]: that should or play to heat guys were falling off like flies man, you know, he didn't have a lot to work with in that very last game against the bangles, and I've a lot to work with in the first one.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_03]: And then I got to hear about how you should even count those last games as wins for shit or from media guys, like I was like,
- 26:24[SPEAKER_03]: like so what like I mean they won it's a it's a team game he did I guess he did enough not to lose there he go but it's wild to me that he just wanted to dismiss that where he did more with last near the end of the year because of all the injuries and the poor coaching and everything.
- 26:44[SPEAKER_01]: uh... jankuddles thank you for the super chat it's probably being facetious because he always wants me to glaze the door uh... but you gave us super chat so now i'm uh... i'm obligated says that what's my favorite part of shador's game you need some offseason glaze
- 26:59[SPEAKER_01]: is accuracy.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_01]: First of all, I also, I like his toughness, you know, like I watched the dude especially at Colorado taking the chops a bunch of times in deliver big time throws and just get up and keep going out there and trying to make plays.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_01]: I like his, I think he's more mobile than people given credit for maybe not as mobile as he wishes he was.
- 27:19[SPEAKER_01]: So he's got to find that middle ground.
- 27:21[SPEAKER_01]: But I, and I just think he's a gamer.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_01]: you know, and I like the way people rally around them.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_01]: He's a leader out there.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_01]: People like them, they gravitate towards them.
- 27:29[SPEAKER_01]: I would say if there's things I don't like, it's the biggest thing.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_01]: It's probably just decision making so far how you know, not retreating, which we've heard he's gotten better at and he was better at it, even every single game last year.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_01]: Just where to go at the ball, being quicker with his reads, that kind of all stuff that comes with.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_01]: reps and practice and being coached and all that good stuff.
- 27:47[SPEAKER_01]: So, I don't know.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's got a lot of the things you look for in NFL quarterback.
- 27:53[SPEAKER_01]: I think he looks bigger than what they have.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_01]: And listed at least, say the next to Dylan Gabriel, when we went from Dylan Gabriel playing out there to him, it was like night and day.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_01]: I think he has better size than people kind of realize.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's more athletic than people realize.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_01]: He's, everybody knows about his accuracy.
- 28:11[SPEAKER_01]: And like you said, Josh, he's just a good teammate.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_01]: There's never been a single person who's talked about like him being a negative in the locker room.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_01]: Anywhere he's ever been.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_01]: It's like people don't like confidence, and I don't understand that.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_01]: Because those same people will turn around and tell you that Michael Jordan's the best basketball player of all time.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_01]: You know, and I get that Shidorah has never has yet to do anything close to the level of Michael Jordan.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_01]: But if you don't like cockiness and confidence in one player, you can't like confidence in another player.
- 28:44[SPEAKER_01]: Because Michael Jordan was the cockiest person.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_01]: Every single game you ever played in, every single level of every sport.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_01]: So it's just...
- 28:51[SPEAKER_01]: I don't understand like people not liking a player to be confident.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_01]: We even heard Bernie Cousar say it when we talk to him.
- 28:56[SPEAKER_01]: If you don't believe in yourself by time you get to the NFL, you're never going to make it.
- 29:00[SPEAKER_01]: You have to be the person who like I belong here.
- 29:02[SPEAKER_01]: If you're if you're tentative and shy, you're never going to make it.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_01]: Especially as a quarterback.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't I never understood that criticism of him.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_03]: Never have the facts, never have the facts.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_03]: He's an issue, nothing.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_03]: The facts of that guy, after the Chicago Bears game last year, suited up the next week is good for me, because the team played so awful around him.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_03]: You would think as a professional, you'd like, unless he says, I'm good, I hurt my knee or something.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_03]: But he just kept showing up, and he plowed out two wins near the end of the year, or the team around him.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_03]: How do two wins in the end of the year?
- 29:42[SPEAKER_00]: What I like two, I mean, speaking to what you're talking about here with the toughness like that Baltimore Ravens game where he got thrust in after the half and the offensive line had to learn his cadence at half time or whatever in the tunnel according to why it tell her like you can tell he wasn't getting any practice to be really ready game ready.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_00]: He gets thrown in there against the Ravens at home.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_00]: It's brutal.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, any damn near lettuce on Hank, come back, tying drive at the end of the game.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_00]: But he got rocked in that half.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_00]: He comes right back on the road in Vegas the next week.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_00]: And like, you could see the preparation and the progression from that Ravens half to where he wasn't ready to play to the Raiders game where it's like holy crap.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_00]: Look at some of these throws he's making.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_00]: Like this guy can play quarterback.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's coached.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_03]: his long ball and his short game were good and you know the Browns I don't really think they had an intermediate game the intermediate game was Harold Fanon Jr. and that was it and you know now that we have our rookies things are going to change we can use a fan and just a little bit different and we've got some more some new rookie titans as well so let's see what happens is let's see how monkey can unlock this offense and open up the middle of the field.
- 30:59[SPEAKER_04]: Keep in mind, keep in mind last year, just with the Browns in general, we had zero run game.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_04]: The defense on the other team knew what we were doing.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_04]: It was the endier's back stuff.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_04]: We couldn't get any separation on receivers, it was terrible.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_04]: There was no weapons, the offensive line was bad.
- 31:18[SPEAKER_04]: We've won over it a million times.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_04]: I need to see,
- 31:22[SPEAKER_04]: what he can do with these weapons with a capable offensive line as long as they can develop some chemistry and stay healthy.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_04]: I think there's a lot of nice young pieces on the offense that could help this kid.
- 31:33[SPEAKER_04]: And I include him in that.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_04]: I include him in that young talent that we're bringing up.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_04]: I don't look at it as like, oh, you know, we got these nice young receivers for, you know, somebody 20 27 or 20 28.
- 31:44[SPEAKER_04]: I look at it as like, we got these guys for him.
- 31:47[SPEAKER_04]: Let's see what he can do.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_00]: Did you guys see this other super chat, Blake, did you want to read it or?
- 31:52[SPEAKER_00]: No, did not see it.
- 31:54[SPEAKER_00]: So Jay Cuddles, another super chat says, did you see, did you see all, oh my gosh.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_00]: Did you all see what Jaylin Ramsey said about Shador and their duel when he played the Steelers?
- 32:05[SPEAKER_00]: Did you guys see that video clip?
- 32:07[SPEAKER_00]: Jaylin, I'm talking about that.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_00]: I'm glad I watched it then.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, Jalen Reimsy was talking about, and I don't even know where the video clip was from or where they were having a conference meeting.
- 32:17[SPEAKER_00]: You guys in the chat let me know what the situation was, but he was talking about when the Browns were playing the Steelers and he was trying to tell whoever I think that the safety or somebody like, hey, go this way or whatever, I forget the whole details of the story, but basically he was trying to bait Shador into making a bad decision on a play.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_00]: Like, he really thought he had him.
- 32:36[SPEAKER_00]: He thought he had the look,
- 32:39[SPEAKER_00]: I got him right here.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_00]: And then he says, should or made a decision in the play, I figured it was he didn't throw the ball where he thought he was going to.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_00]: And he I think he had thrown the ball away because of the pressure coming at him.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_00]: But after word he said, like, hey, I was trying to get you to throw over here and should or so.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_00]: I know I saw that too.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_00]: And he was like, oh, okay, like he didn't.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_00]: It was something he didn't really expect of a rookie to pick up on and should or did.
- 33:04[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and that's a good play.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_03]: He was a rookie and people expect him not to be a rookie.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, he had the 10 interceptions.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_03]: People complain about that.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_03]: And, you know, there's a guys like Peyton Manning that set the interception record and they still got another chance.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_03]: He had seven games, let the kid develop and let's see what he can do.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_01]: Well, even like, you know, even everybody, you know, there's a lot of Baker fans out there still in his first year of starting.
- 33:28[SPEAKER_01]: He threw 27 touchdowns, but if I remember I didn't he throw like 24 picks.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_03]: There's a little bit.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_03]: He threw a bunch of it.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_01]: I guess he threw a lot of picks, and obviously he threw a lot more touchdowns.
- 33:39[SPEAKER_01]: He also had Nick Chubb.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_01]: a top three offensive line, David and Joku, a healthy younger, David and Joku, he had Jarvis Landry's, you know what I mean?
- 33:48[SPEAKER_01]: Like he had people to throw through, he wasn't playing behind a high school offensive line and throwing to Harold Fanon and then a band of misfits.
- 33:57[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, and he's just like more than seven games.
- 34:01[SPEAKER_00]: as a rookie, you know, everyone's like, oh, he only threw seven touchdowns.
- 34:05[SPEAKER_00]: Well, he played seven games like you said with a terrible talent around him and trying still trying to progress each game.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_00]: Imagine if he had
- 34:14[SPEAKER_01]: 13 games to continue that progression and I was less concerned last year because the talent around him was so bad because he took over a team that had tons of injuries already and pretty much had mailed it in for this season.
- 34:26[SPEAKER_01]: I was way less concerned with what his numbers would be in way more concerned with just
- 34:33[SPEAKER_01]: Improvement.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_01]: How does he play?
- 34:35[SPEAKER_01]: Is he holding the ball too long?
- 34:37[SPEAKER_01]: Are we seeing improvement from game to game with decision making?
- 34:40[SPEAKER_01]: And I thought every game something he struggled with the game before.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_01]: He was a little bit better at the next game.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_01]: Again, I'm not a person who's going to stand here and say like Shodor has got to take us to the Super Bowl this year.
- 34:51[SPEAKER_01]: But I think he definitely showed enough.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_01]: I don't care the numbers.
- 34:56[SPEAKER_01]: Who tell me somebody who put a good good numbers on this team last year nobody, you know, so it's so it's one of those miles Garrett Yes, I just saw enough That what anybody else playing would just be it would just be ignorant.
- 35:11[SPEAKER_01]: There'd just be no point completely I don't find you, bro Completely agree with you I saw a comment up here from Vonte
- 35:20[SPEAKER_01]: that I thought was worth noting.
- 35:21[SPEAKER_01]: I'm trying to find it said something.
- 35:23[SPEAKER_01]: It says I think it's more we want the perfect QB instead of trusting in this growth but also being afraid of not hitting the right QB, Brady Manning Montana, LA Breeze all grew through the years.
- 35:33[SPEAKER_01]: That's a huge point.
- 35:35[SPEAKER_01]: like obviously dealing Gabriel you watch and play you know it's not there okay there's no point in in wasting the time because you know it's not there should we're seeing there's plays you see some size you see some athleticism you see some throws okay maybe it's not perfect maybe he's not putting them numbers but you're seeing tools
- 35:53[SPEAKER_01]: You're seeing things he can do well, things that you can build on, maybe there's something there.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_01]: So then you try to develop that and play.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_01]: People like to always talk about, I hear this all the time.
- 36:02[SPEAKER_01]: If the Browns were a waste drafted Josh Allen, they would have read him out of the league.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_01]: He never would have became Josh Allen.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_01]: That's the same, the same Browns fans will say that.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_01]: And then in the same breath, turn around and say that Shudor sucks, and we should just trade him and cut him.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_01]: Like, whoa.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_01]: You know, how often you find the quarterback who just from day one hits the ground running and his Patrick Mahomes, almost never like Andrew Luck in Patrick Mahomes come around once a decade.
- 36:32[SPEAKER_01]: You know, you've got to stop, we have to, you want to find a guy who can be your franchise leader, but you have to just stop like tossing people away immediately.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_01]: You said Patrick Holmes had a room to sit for a year, too, you know?
- 36:43[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_01]: If you see intangibles, if you see tools, if you see things, see things that you think can, you can build on, you've got to give him a chance before you just throw them away.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_01]: Again, don't get married to a bad decision, Dylan Gabriel, it's clear his day he can't play.
- 36:57[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 36:57[SPEAKER_01]: But that's not the case with Shoulder.
- 36:59[SPEAKER_01]: He did things that made you think, okay, he can play.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_00]: Justin, do you remember, Jalen hurts rookie season?
- 37:06[SPEAKER_00]: Ah, I think he started the last four games of the season when they, I think they benched.
- 37:10[SPEAKER_00]: Just prize and one.
- 37:11[SPEAKER_00]: Probably wasn't great.
- 37:12[SPEAKER_00]: It wasn't.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_00]: So that's the thing.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_00]: They took a flyer on that kid in the second round.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_00]: And he, it was kind of similar to this conversation.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_00]: We're having like, he showed some science, like he showed some athleticism.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_00]: He made some throws, but it was also like,
- 37:26[SPEAKER_00]: And the accuracy is a little shaky, his release was a little while.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_00]: I remember, I just remember watching things and hearing them talk and like, I don't know if he's going to end up being a NFL quarterback.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_00]: And then the entire off season, heading into his second season, he worked his ass off to get better.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_00]: And he took that starting job and turned into Jalen Hurts.
- 37:47[SPEAKER_00]: You know, some, I like the guys that are willing to just pour everything they have into getting better.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_00]: That's what did this episode talk about Johnny Manzel.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_04]: Right.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, what is the exact opposite?
- 38:02[SPEAKER_04]: Yes.
- 38:03[SPEAKER_04]: We are 27 years into this thing, and we have people talking about just trading away, shit or Sanders so that we can run Watts and Gabriel and have a six round rookie out there.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_04]: And hope for what results that would be positive moving forward.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_04]: We just lost one of our best players because we couldn't figure it out.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_04]: We had another guy that is a first ball at Hall of Famer.
- 38:24[SPEAKER_04]: His whole career is basically a wash because the team sucks so bad.
- 38:28[SPEAKER_04]: It's crazy how we can't just at least for one season or an even an off season.
- 38:34[SPEAKER_04]: We can't just commit to something decent.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_04]: Like, I don't know what happened at the end of the year where we went out on a high and then we just went,
- 38:44[SPEAKER_04]: It was like three weeks went by and we're like, yeah, we got to start looking for a new quarterback.
- 38:48[SPEAKER_04]: This isn't it.
- 38:49[SPEAKER_04]: This isn't it.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_04]: It just makes no sense to me.
- 38:52[SPEAKER_04]: I think it's just a lot of bored offseason stuff and I hope he just comes out and shits on everybody.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_00]: I do too, man.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_00]: Straight up.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_00]: What do you guys think?
- 39:00[SPEAKER_00]: I really do feel like the browns.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_00]: want him to take it.
- 39:06[SPEAKER_00]: They want him to just take it and run with it because like you said earlier, they built this young team, not for some future quarterback and not for Dishon Watts, and they built it for him.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_00]: You know, for a young quarterback right now who's there with these guys, working with them and building that rapport and everything, and
- 39:25[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_00]: I just got him on a fifth round rookie contract.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_00]: They know they're not idiots.
- 39:29[SPEAKER_00]: That's your get out of jail.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Karsher.
- 39:31[SPEAKER_00]: Are you kidding me?
- 39:32[SPEAKER_00]: Three.
- 39:34[SPEAKER_03]: Only way out.
- 39:34[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, 100% man.
- 39:36[SPEAKER_03]: And like, there he is, like, you know, his record isn't that great.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_03]: Overall, since he started his GM combined, I mean, he's had two great drafts.
- 39:45[SPEAKER_03]: Everything was.
- 39:46[SPEAKER_03]: dodgy before that at best.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_03]: And I mean, he's got to want it, want this.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_03]: Like, like you said, it gets him out of jail, basically.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_03]: Like, how good would it look if Shidorah successful this year for him?
- 39:59[SPEAKER_03]: And you know, it's a draft pit, another draft pick that he kind of did on his own last year, but like we know this one really was.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_03]: And it would just add to the legitimacy of him being a better GM
- 40:16[SPEAKER_03]: maybe the owner, you know, Nessia has like, I don't know, I don't know.
- 40:22[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I wasn't there, but you guys know what I mean, but that would add, you know, definitely something to his career for sure.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_01]: uh... there's a comment here i wanted to do don't forty nine o'clock says the bronzer phoenix adorky one that's nothing to do with football during a pre twenty twenty five draft interview d on incidentally that Cleveland was one of the places he wouldn't allow us to do it to play that just makes absolutely no sense to me they traded up to get him first of all uh... i'm pretty sure like that d on it like has been around the cleaving facility in that it's fine
- 40:55[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what your, like, is it?
- 40:57[SPEAKER_01]: Are you trying to say that it's racism?
- 40:59[SPEAKER_01]: Because the Browns at one point had an all black QB room.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_01]: I'm pretty sure, like the first team ever.
- 41:04[SPEAKER_01]: Also, give up three first on draft picks and give the first fully guaranteed contract to a black quarterback.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't understand what you're insinuating about, they, it has nothing to do with football.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_01]: That, that's the kind of stuff that noise people, you know?
- 41:20[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's,
- 41:22[SPEAKER_04]: To honestly answer that and I this is I'm just shooting in the dark here I think that this is more a monk in coaching style kind of thing I think that he sees some like we've talked about he's a he's a grinder I think that he kind of looks at his like hey, we're gonna have an open quarterback competition and you know Let's see.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_04]: Let's see how hard he he works for it.
- 41:44[SPEAKER_04]: I I fully expect he wins a job I I honestly I will be shocked and we'll drop over dead if Watson gets name the starter week one
- 41:52[SPEAKER_04]: I will be shot.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_04]: I'm being, I mean, what are we talking about?
- 41:57[SPEAKER_04]: The film, I haven't everything from the last four years is atrocious.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_04]: And we're talking about a guy with two Achilles tears now.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_04]: And then he's going to come back and just be the dude.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_04]: I just, I can't, I'm not living in that fantasy world.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not, I refuse to live in that world.
- 42:14[SPEAKER_04]: No way.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_04]: And it's frustrating if I have to do that again, because I know it'll be the same stuff.
- 42:20[SPEAKER_04]: I just, it's, I've already seen this for four years.
- 42:23[SPEAKER_04]: I'm good.
- 42:24[SPEAKER_04]: No, thank you.
- 42:25[SPEAKER_04]: I'm out on Watson.
- 42:26[SPEAKER_00]: I really mean, I just, I reacted that way, because I just don't want you to drop over dead because of another bad decision that teammates.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you know, I put that one on me.
- 42:35[SPEAKER_00]: Sorry, Lord.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, so we've got Derek Brown from Fancy Proses.
- 42:41[SPEAKER_00]: Once again in our chat chat, Joe.
- 42:42[SPEAKER_00]: Joe, thanks for being here.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_00]: And he's talking about how the Brown's coaching staff is making Shador earn it, and he fully expects him to.
- 42:49[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that's a good thing, because you don't want to just say, OK, well, you ended the season last year as the starter, we still have Deshawn Watson here that the 10-year bet we paid all this money to and everything.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_00]: We're just going to hand you the job.
- 43:00[SPEAKER_00]: I'm OK with them making him earn it.
- 43:02[SPEAKER_00]: Just don't make a bad decision, guys.
- 43:04[SPEAKER_00]: That's all I ask.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_03]: I think they can all the, all the rookies earn it, man.
- 43:08[SPEAKER_03]: There's, yeah, Thanos has to earn it.
- 43:10[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's consistent across the board and like the Boston KC, they all have to earn it.
- 43:15[SPEAKER_03]: Even Bond didn't get through preseason last year.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_03]: He's got it earned something.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_03]: And he's looking good with the extra muscle, man.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_03]: Like that's going to be big for him this year too.
- 43:23[SPEAKER_03]: So let's see what these guys got.
- 43:28[SPEAKER_01]: I like that Todd Munkin had success at the college level with quarterbacks, like I mean, he won a national championship of Stetsett Bennett, you know.
- 43:39[SPEAKER_01]: So like I like that he can develop a quarterback a young, a young cuby, I think that's a good fit.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_01]: And like you'd say, guess who else probably likes that he has to earn the job, is Shador.
- 43:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 43:51[SPEAKER_01]: because he doesn't come across me as a guy who just wants to be given this stuff.
- 43:55[SPEAKER_01]: Like, he works for, even, I'm pretty sure, even Prime is talked about like,
- 44:02[SPEAKER_01]: No, he doesn't just give them stuff.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_01]: You know, they have to work for it.
- 44:05[SPEAKER_01]: They have to earn it.
- 44:06[SPEAKER_01]: He wasn't just given a silver spoon.
- 44:09[SPEAKER_01]: Like, every all this stuff he has, he's work for it and he's earned it.
- 44:11[SPEAKER_01]: So he doesn't want just be given the job.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_01]: He wants to go out there and compete.
- 44:14[SPEAKER_01]: He's a professional athlete.
- 44:16[SPEAKER_01]: They love competition.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_01]: That's the whole point you're out there.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_01]: You know, he wants to compete for the job.
- 44:20[SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't want just be given that job.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_01]: Cause guess how you earn the respect and trust in your teammates?
- 44:26[SPEAKER_01]: You earn that job.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_01]: If you're just hand at the job and then you go out there and you have a bad game, it was like, they just gave him the job, you know, no wonder he's having a bad game.
- 44:34[SPEAKER_01]: He didn't earn this job.
- 44:36[SPEAKER_01]: That's a bad look.
- 44:37[SPEAKER_01]: It's way better to earn it than just be given something.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_00]: This episode is sponsored by Coz Our Wellness.

- 45:58[SPEAKER_01]: uh... manual we did appreciate the super chat uh... but we did talk about this if you just got here like ten minutes ago so uh... it was uh... it was a cool story and and it just kind of shows the show like that should doers you know progressing getting better and learning those kinds of things on a game by game basis i expected to take a leap this year one
- 46:19[SPEAKER_01]: I think even if he didn't, even if he stayed like the exact same, which I don't think is going to happen, he'll look better because he's throwing to actual NFL wide receivers and standing behind an actual NFL offensive line.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_01]: And so you put that and then you also have the fact that he has an offseason of learning of prepping, of working out and learning the playbook and
- 46:41[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I know he's competing, but he's getting to prepare like a starter.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_01]: He's getting reps, you know what these guys like he's going to be better.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_01]: So, plus you have an easier schedule, at least on paper.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and speaking to the whole Jalen Ramsey thing about Shador C and stuff on the field that he didn't expect him to the Browns quarterback coach Mike Bajaking was on Cleveland Browns daily.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_00]: What was the last week?
- 47:01[SPEAKER_00]: And had a quote about how sometimes during a play in practice, you know, Shador will do something or make a throw or decision, he'll say, well, hey, what did you see there?
- 47:09[SPEAKER_00]: Because I didn't really see what what you were doing and he'll tell him.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_00]: And then the QB coach said, and then I'll go back and watch the film and I'll look at the iPad and say, okay.
- 47:19[SPEAKER_00]: I missed that.
- 47:19[SPEAKER_00]: I totally see it now.
- 47:20[SPEAKER_00]: Like he saw something out there that I didn't see.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_00]: And Buffalo, Colorado, you know, these fans online have been informing me over the week that Deans has said the same thing at Colorado.
- 47:31[SPEAKER_00]: Like there were times during games where they would come on the sideline and be like, that's not the play we called up.
- 47:38[SPEAKER_00]: Like that's not how it was supposed to go.
- 47:39[SPEAKER_00]: And they'd be frustrated.
- 47:40[SPEAKER_00]: And then they'd go look at the tape and say, oh, okay.
- 47:43[SPEAKER_00]: He did make the right decision there because of whatever.
- 47:45[SPEAKER_00]: So,
- 47:47[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, I like hearing those things.
- 47:50[SPEAKER_03]: I like the whole GoPro thing that they're doing, man.
- 47:53[SPEAKER_03]: Like talking about like getting them to learn, like they got those guys can actually see what they're looking at.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_03]: There's no like fibbing, you know, just like you just said, right now, about that example.
- 48:05[SPEAKER_03]: And not only are they knowing where that they are actually going to throw to and what they're looking at, they know that they're feet are getting set the right way.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_03]: It's really going to help them develop fast.
- 48:16[SPEAKER_03]: And maybe this is kind of a reason why
- 48:19[SPEAKER_03]: you know, should or is developing this this this way, right?
- 48:22[SPEAKER_03]: That that extra technology man it helps.
- 48:27[SPEAKER_04]: I'm just curious to see what a real offseason like where we're we're not throwing to water boys and trash cans looks like where they have to real invent real real investment into like in the room like where we want to fix this thing I'll I'll be around to him forever, but it is frustrating to know that I'm 40 years old and I'm still talking about working on the same things that I was talking about when I was 16 years old as a brown skin.
- 48:52[SPEAKER_04]: It's frustrating to go.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_01]: uh... something that they will trade should do it no matter how much you outplays what's in the absolutely will play what's in one of them because well why would you why we trade and why would i just don't it did that makes no sense i will bet you my next paycheck that if you outplays what's in their not trading uh... it says the run game uh... let me see what else also this quick i don't know who this guy's arguing with he's just arguing with himself and so i've been i've been kind of reading of stuff it's pretty funny i don't know he's talking to um...
- 49:24[SPEAKER_01]: You can get dangerous, same-sum breakout year, I do.
- 49:27[SPEAKER_01]: I just think the offense will be better in general.
- 49:31[SPEAKER_01]: I see a lot of 10 wins, minimum.
- 49:34[SPEAKER_01]: Now that we've had camp, that kind of stuff, obviously, no no pads and whatnot.
- 49:40[SPEAKER_01]: Have you guys changed your expectations for the season in terms of wins and losses?
- 49:47[SPEAKER_03]: I think you're five and 12 team until you're not, and I just need to see that offensive line.
- 49:51[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think the shorts and seeing all this stuff in the many camp is good enough right now for me to make a decision.
- 50:00[SPEAKER_03]: I need to see more...
- 50:02[SPEAKER_03]: I guess, under fire to make a decision and going forward.
- 50:06[SPEAKER_03]: They aren't even fully installing the offense yet.
- 50:09[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think, like, both corebacks are really just learning.
- 50:12[SPEAKER_03]: You got a bunch of rookies running new routes.
- 50:16[SPEAKER_03]: I just don't see, I just can't see it making a decision yet.
- 50:21[SPEAKER_03]: I can maybe probably make a decision, pre-season wise.
- 50:24[SPEAKER_03]: See how everything kind of looks and how the new offense is like sinking in
- 50:32[SPEAKER_03]: I'm gonna say 5 and 12 until they prove me not.
- 50:35[SPEAKER_04]: I'm always, I'm always on that like, we're gonna be like a 10 win season until about half of the week one game.
- 50:41[SPEAKER_04]: And then I'm like, oh god!
- 50:46[SPEAKER_04]: And, you know, and then, uh, just watching for, you know, 17 games, great time.
- 50:51[SPEAKER_00]: I think we just, we're going to need to continue to temper.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_00]: That's, but it's been my thing here lately.
- 50:56[SPEAKER_00]: Just temper those expectations because of how young the team is.
- 50:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 50:59[SPEAKER_00]: In experience, that I think they're going to be fun to watch.
- 51:02[SPEAKER_00]: I think they're going to be good, but I think there's going to be mistakes that we're going to get really frustrated with, but we got I just,
- 51:10[SPEAKER_00]: I hope they get worked out early in the season and don't continue to drag on through the entire year because that's a lot's going to depend on how quickly these young guys get up to speed.
- 51:22[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and again, I'm not trying to be negative on it.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_03]: It's just like you are flipping your offensive defensive coordinator, new head coach.
- 51:29[SPEAKER_03]: And we lost Miles Garrett, you know what I mean?
- 51:31[SPEAKER_03]: Like there's going to be a lot of changes in what ifs.
- 51:34[SPEAKER_03]: We did this exact same thing last year.
- 51:36[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm not ready to do it again until I see just a little bit more a play on the field before I can figure out what's going to happen.
- 51:43[SPEAKER_04]: A lot of, a lot of what ifs right now.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_04]: A lot of what ifs on a lot of, on every pretty much,
- 51:50[SPEAKER_03]: home, you feel better, but I feel better about the what ifs though.
- 51:54[SPEAKER_03]: He's like there's at least we have those at least we have one.
- 51:57[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah, there's talent behind the what ifs.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_03]: It's just how is this coaching staff going to handle all the newness?
- 52:05[SPEAKER_03]: That's where I want to know.
- 52:07[SPEAKER_03]: part of it that helps is like the rest of the division has to handle a bunch of newness as well, right?
- 52:13[SPEAKER_03]: All new coaching staffs on two, I guess we'll say three out of the four, including us, right?
- 52:19[SPEAKER_03]: And the Bengals are the Bengals.
- 52:21[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if their defense is going to change or not, just with one big splash move.
- 52:24[SPEAKER_03]: So we'll see what happens.
- 52:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I just,
- 52:29[SPEAKER_01]: I can always like talk myself into like thinking we're gonna be good, but with that's with my heart.
- 52:36[SPEAKER_01]: If I'm using my brain, there's just too many unknowns right now, you know, like 100% agree.
- 52:43[SPEAKER_01]: But Josh talked about with, we're not just young, we're like insanely young.
- 52:48[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they're almost outside if Shidorah wins the job.
- 52:53[SPEAKER_01]: Outside of Jerry Judy, is there anybody on this offense?
- 52:56[SPEAKER_01]: that's not either a brand new to this offense or two years or less in the NFL fair.
- 53:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know what I mean, like you're talking in Judy nobody even wants him here.
- 53:10[SPEAKER_01]: So we're relying on two rookie wide receivers, a second year tight end, a second year quarterback, probably.
- 53:16[SPEAKER_01]: I'll have rookie left tackle for other new starting offensive linemen.
- 53:21[SPEAKER_01]: Two second year running backs, a rookie backup tight end potentially that we just drafted.
- 53:27[SPEAKER_01]: Like in that, that's not even taking to account the fact we don't even know if our coach is good.
- 53:32[SPEAKER_01]: You know, we're all, we're all, we all like the way he talks, you know, he's a football coach.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_01]: He just says, well, that doesn't necessarily translate to being a good football coach, you know, so it's just like we don't even know if he's going to be a good head coach yet.
- 53:47[SPEAKER_01]: There's just way too many unknowns to think, I just can't confidently come to this season to be like, oh, because we drafted some guys.
- 53:53[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to win 10 games this year.
- 53:55[SPEAKER_01]: That just we are so young.
- 53:56[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to make stupid mental mistakes.
- 53:59[SPEAKER_01]: You know, we're gonna, especially early in the year and I just, I just, I don't even know if we have a good coach yet.
- 54:07[SPEAKER_01]: I, I'm cautiously optimistic just like I am with our roster, but until we see him in a game, you know, with the headset on, making the head coach decisions and that kind of stuff, how the team looks prepared.
- 54:18[SPEAKER_01]: you know throughout the week and then get into game day we literally have no idea if we have a good football coach.
- 54:23[SPEAKER_01]: We have a brand new defensive coordinator.
- 54:25[SPEAKER_01]: We have everything's brand new on this team.
- 54:27[SPEAKER_01]: It would almost be a miracle for us to be good.
- 54:30[SPEAKER_00]: And the three coordinators are all first time coordinators.
- 54:34[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody out there, let me remind
- 54:37[SPEAKER_00]: everybody for a minute because I see this comment all the time people will tell me well look what Mike Routenberg ran in Atlanta.
- 54:44[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like he wasn't the defensive coordinator.
- 54:47[SPEAKER_00]: He was the defensive passing game coordinator.
- 54:49[SPEAKER_00]: He was not the defensive coordinator.
- 54:51[SPEAKER_00]: People I think get confused or just assumed that he was their DC and now he's R DC.
- 54:57[SPEAKER_00]: That was a promotion for him to come here and be the DC.
- 54:59[SPEAKER_00]: He's never actually run the entire defense himself before.
- 55:01[SPEAKER_00]: So this is
- 55:04[SPEAKER_03]: Let me, what do you come up with?
- 55:05[SPEAKER_03]: You can, I wanna, sorry.
- 55:07[SPEAKER_03]: Would you consider the Lions a good team and a deep team, right?
- 55:11[SPEAKER_03]: They had the same kind of coach but they got two new coordinators, one on each side, didn't make the playoffs.
- 55:17[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
- 55:18[SPEAKER_03]: And they're a good talent, they're a good talent, you know?
- 55:22[SPEAKER_01]: And that's the concerning thing for me.
- 55:24[SPEAKER_01]: I see a comment here this is look out for the spurs made with their young players the same basketball and we don't have a that's we don't have a ND yeah we don't have a one different so yeah that's way different one one guy if you have one good player in basketball you can make a run I mean the calves have built uh
- 55:40[SPEAKER_01]: a history of doing that on the bronze back.
- 55:43[SPEAKER_01]: His first time being in Cleveland.
- 55:46[SPEAKER_01]: And then I saw another one here, it says, we do no monk in as a good coach.
- 55:49[SPEAKER_01]: That's why I refuse.
- 55:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, we know he's a good offensive coach.
- 55:53[SPEAKER_01]: We don't know if he's a good head coach yet.
- 55:55[SPEAKER_01]: This is his first time being a head coach in the national football league.
- 55:58[SPEAKER_01]: We just don't know the cancer bigger responsibility.
- 56:01[SPEAKER_01]: It's a lot different to go from the guy who only asked to worry about calling the plays to the guy who's going to call the plays, oversee, offense defense, special teams,
- 56:11[SPEAKER_01]: He's the one making practice plans now.
- 56:13[SPEAKER_01]: Are we going to be prepared that, you know, how do we practice all that kind of stuff?
- 56:17[SPEAKER_01]: So we just don't know until we see games.
- 56:20[SPEAKER_03]: So it's just, yeah, I don't want to say where this conversation is cautiously optimistic, guys.
- 56:26[SPEAKER_03]: Like we're not trying to tear the team now, but there are valid points to, you know, the optimistic.
- 56:32[SPEAKER_03]: There's valid points to be pessimistic and, you know, we need to figure those out.
- 56:37[SPEAKER_03]: I want to.
- 56:37[SPEAKER_03]: I think the browns are very much on the right direction.
- 56:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, just because I don't necessarily know if we're going to be ready to take the leap this year because we're so young.
- 56:46[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't mean I don't think that we're not ascending.
- 56:48[SPEAKER_01]: I definitely think we're on the right track.
- 56:50[SPEAKER_01]: It's just a team that's going to go from terrible to playoffs in one year with all this turnover.
- 56:55[SPEAKER_01]: It's a tough ask.
- 56:58[SPEAKER_00]: I wanted to address case slades comments here.
- 57:00[SPEAKER_00]: I've been reading in the chat just a little bit talking about the Sean Watson, how there's been some chatter about well, if you know, he plays well.
- 57:07[SPEAKER_00]: The Browns could potentially, they'd be open to extending him.
- 57:11[SPEAKER_00]: They say, Hazelm has at every reason to get rid of Watson yet he's outlasted Miles Garrett.
- 57:16[SPEAKER_00]: It's only because of the dead cap on his contract.
- 57:19[SPEAKER_00]: If the Browns could have financially cut him in March, this past year, they would have, I guarantee it.
- 57:26[SPEAKER_00]: They couldn't, you cannot cut to Sean Watson.
- 57:28[SPEAKER_00]: You can't treat him because of, right, me, I guess you could if you eat that, but the dead cap would make it impossible to feel the roster.
- 57:36[SPEAKER_00]: You wouldn't be able to pay guys.
- 57:37[SPEAKER_00]: It's, you had to restructure his contracts so that when they cut him next off season, they can split his dead cap over two more seasons.
- 57:46[SPEAKER_00]: It's that much.
- 57:47[SPEAKER_00]: So,
- 57:49[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, there's a plan to get rid of him that just can't happen like that.
- 57:52[SPEAKER_03]: To June 1st, 2027, but I'm not kidding.
- 57:56[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that doesn't need him in March.
- 57:59[SPEAKER_01]: If so many other people are saying Shudur can read defenses.
- 58:02[SPEAKER_01]: Why does Jason Lloyd say otherwise?
- 58:03[SPEAKER_01]: Who are those mysterious sources?
- 58:05[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 58:06[SPEAKER_01]: And here's, I don't want to talk crap about other people, but just like, I don't watch the ultimate Cleveland sports show.
- 58:14[SPEAKER_01]: Like, because of stuff like, it's just,
- 58:18[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how many watches it.
- 58:19[SPEAKER_01]: That's all I'll say, like it's just people yelling at each other.
- 58:22[SPEAKER_01]: I don't get it.
- 58:22[SPEAKER_01]: So, but yeah, that's his sources, who knows who they are.
- 58:26[SPEAKER_01]: I did not see Anthony Lyme as comments, so I'm not sure.
- 58:31[SPEAKER_00]: And who's who was talking about Anthony Lima?
- 58:33[SPEAKER_01]: Lime a Lima.
- 58:33[SPEAKER_01]: Lime a Lima.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_01]: Lime a Lima.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_01]: Lime a Lima.
- 58:35[SPEAKER_01]: Lime a Lima.
- 58:35[SPEAKER_01]: Lime a Lima.
- 58:36[SPEAKER_01]: Lime a Lima.
- 58:36[SPEAKER_01]: Lime a Lima.
- 58:37[SPEAKER_01]: Lime a Lima.
- 58:38[SPEAKER_01]: Lime a Lima.
- 58:39[SPEAKER_00]: Lime a Lima.
- 58:39[SPEAKER_00]: Lime a Lima.
- 58:40[SPEAKER_00]: Lime a Lima.
- 58:40[SPEAKER_00]: Lime a Lima.
- 58:40[SPEAKER_00]: Lime a Lima.
- 58:41[SPEAKER_03]: Lime a Lima.
- 58:41[SPEAKER_03]: Lime a Lima.
- 58:42[SPEAKER_03]: Lime a Lima.
- 58:42[SPEAKER_03]: Lime a Lima.
- 58:42[SPEAKER_03]: Lime a Lima.
- 58:43[SPEAKER_03]: Lime a Lima.
- 58:43[SPEAKER_03]: Lime a Lima.
- 58:44[SPEAKER_03]: Lime a Lima.
- 58:53[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I think he disingenuous to give Sidor credit for the last two wins of the season.
- 59:01[SPEAKER_03]: He said something along about lines and paraphrasing.
- 59:03[SPEAKER_00]: But you said you can't give Sidor any credit for those wins.
- 59:06[SPEAKER_00]: Like, basically, he did nothing to help facilitate the win over the stones or the bangles.
- 59:11[SPEAKER_00]: And then people definitely brought the receipts of the, you know, he's there.
- 59:17[SPEAKER_00]: Touchdown passed a Harold Fanon Jr.
- 59:20[SPEAKER_00]: still has only scored six points.
- 59:21[SPEAKER_00]: So that was all we needed to win that.
- 59:23[SPEAKER_00]: And then the game winning drive, the field will drive at the end of the Bengals game, should or made some big time throws on that drives.
- 59:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's right.
- 59:32[SPEAKER_00]: Kind of hard to say the defense won those games single handedly when you needed those things to happen from your quarterback.
- 59:38[SPEAKER_01]: Here's the thing is if we would have lost those games, he definitely would have blamed them for losing them.
- 59:44[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not 100% out of me.
- 59:46[SPEAKER_01]: So if we say this all the time, the quarterback gets too much of the credit when it's going good and not in too much of the blame when it's going bad, I guarantee you if we lose those games, it would have been Shidorah's fault we lost, but we win the game.
- 59:59[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying he deserves all the credit, but he doesn't get any of the credit.
- 1:00:03[SPEAKER_01]: He was the starting quarterback and the game we won.
- 1:00:05[SPEAKER_01]: So, so I don't understand how he doesn't get at least a little bit of the credit.
- 1:00:13[SPEAKER_00]: Cleaning media is bad, man.
- 1:00:14[SPEAKER_00]: It really is.
- 1:00:16[SPEAKER_00]: It's bad.
- 1:00:18[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 1:00:19[SPEAKER_01]: Well, do you guys have anything else?
- 1:00:21[SPEAKER_01]: Just we've wrapped this thing up.
- 1:00:23[SPEAKER_00]: We had a whole bunch of other like many things we wanted to talk about and then we just, that's okay.
- 1:00:28[SPEAKER_00]: Just got on this with conversation we need to have.
- 1:00:31[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, absolutely man.
- 1:00:32[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, this, the future is bright, just be very realistic about it and based on all the changes.
- 1:00:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, expect bumps and bruises and ups and downs and then if things align somehow and the ball goes our way more than it doesn't and we win more games than you expect be happy.
- 1:00:50[SPEAKER_00]: You know, they don't expect any 11 win season.
- 1:00:53[SPEAKER_04]: It can't be any worse.
- 1:00:55[SPEAKER_04]: I mean.
- 1:00:57[SPEAKER_04]: Seriously, like last year and the year before that was about as low as it can get.
- 1:01:04[SPEAKER_04]: And we're like, you know, why should people have been sitting in?
- 1:01:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'll say that in between two years ago and last year, people talked about they said the offense can't possibly as bad as it was last year.
- 1:01:18[SPEAKER_01]: And I remember getting on there and being like, um, I think it might be worse than it was the year before.
- 1:01:23[SPEAKER_01]: Like, what do you mean it can't be worse when you've done nothing to improve it?
- 1:01:27[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and then it was worse.
- 1:01:29[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I have a, it's not going to be worse this year.
- 1:01:33[SPEAKER_01]: It'll be better.
- 1:01:35[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 1:01:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 1:01:36[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how much better be, but we have actual athletes in space now.
- 1:01:40[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to spread the ball around.
- 1:01:42[SPEAKER_01]: We will hopefully be able to block, you know.
- 1:01:47[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, we're going to be the 2007 Patriots, but it'll be, it'll be significantly better than it was last two years.
- 1:01:55[SPEAKER_01]: It just, it has to be.
- 1:01:57[SPEAKER_01]: I'm saying it now.
- 1:01:59[SPEAKER_01]: I'm saying it now.
- 1:02:00[SPEAKER_03]: It literally can't get worse.
- 1:02:02[SPEAKER_01]: So it's got to be better.
- 1:02:05[SPEAKER_03]: look way faster out there.
- 1:02:06[SPEAKER_03]: Like you can just tell the way they're moving.
- 1:02:08[SPEAKER_03]: They're moving quick, fast, they're explosive out there.
- 1:02:11[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, even Jared Versman, they look explosive when he hits something, like it.
- 1:02:16[SPEAKER_03]: I like what I see out of the guys.
- 1:02:17[SPEAKER_03]: It's just a matter of getting that team and getting a winning, uh, getting that winning culture around.
- 1:02:22[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, huge.
- 1:02:24[SPEAKER_01]: Before my hot take for the year doesn't end to do with the offense, it is going to be, I just came up with this, the defense won't fall off as hard as initially thought.
- 1:02:35[SPEAKER_01]: No, I agree.
- 1:02:36[SPEAKER_01]: Agreed.
- 1:02:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:02:38[SPEAKER_01]: I'm using the losing miles, Garrett sucks.
- 1:02:40[SPEAKER_01]: But I think moving on from Jim Schwartz is actually good.
- 1:02:46[SPEAKER_01]: I'm excited to see the new defensive coordinator.
- 1:02:49[SPEAKER_01]: I think Jared versus a very good player, and he,
- 1:02:53[SPEAKER_01]: Miles Garrett, as much as we loved him, he wanted sex the last two years because we weren't winning any games.
- 1:02:57[SPEAKER_01]: I think Jared vs. will come in and play more of a complete, complimentary style of defense at times.
- 1:03:03[SPEAKER_01]: He can still get after the passer and create pressures, he'll stop the run, they'll have Carson swishing, you're coming back, you're too now.
- 1:03:11[SPEAKER_01]: I just...
- 1:03:12[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think the defense is going to fall off as hard as is boring everybody stays healthy.
- 1:03:16[SPEAKER_01]: So that's my hot taste.
- 1:03:17[SPEAKER_01]: Brownds will stay a pretty decent defense this year.
- 1:03:21[SPEAKER_00]: I like it.
- 1:03:21[SPEAKER_03]: Give me some depth.
- 1:03:22[SPEAKER_03]: Give me some depth on that defense.
- 1:03:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I like the Quincy Williams addition to Carson Swesinger.
- 1:03:27[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's going to be a tandem at the linebacker spot that's going to be fun to watch.
- 1:03:32[SPEAKER_00]: And this whole idea of the Browns utilizing three safety looks more often under root and bird.
- 1:03:38[SPEAKER_00]: We got those three safety's now and I'm pumped.
- 1:03:41[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I'm pumped to watch how that defense looks because I've been reading some stuff about the three safety and how that's a
- 1:03:48[SPEAKER_00]: more of a new trend in the NFL and they're trying to offset some of the offensive advantages that have been growing in the you know how this league is it's every year it's it's defense changes a little bit than the offense and the defense and it's back and forth and that no two years are the same.
- 1:04:01[SPEAKER_00]: I love it.
- 1:04:02[SPEAKER_03]: We strictly offset the 21 personnel is that that was that's the point of the three safety is correct.
- 1:04:06[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 1:04:08[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I've been begging on that hammer to man three safety is you need it.
- 1:04:12[SPEAKER_03]: Get after let's go and we got it.
- 1:04:15[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 1:04:15[SPEAKER_01]: Well, let's wrap this thing up for you know, I get in trouble.
- 1:04:19[SPEAKER_01]: Here we go.
- 1:04:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.

- 1:05:00[SPEAKER_01]: All right, we won't we'll start making fun of Kenny Mac now.
- 1:05:03[SPEAKER_01]: Love you, Kenny.
- 1:05:04[SPEAKER_01]: At least you didn't call him old the night.
- 1:05:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I just remember really on Kenny lately.
- 1:05:09[SPEAKER_01]: He's not going to come down here anymore.
- 1:05:13[SPEAKER_03]: I don't even care, man.
- 1:05:14[SPEAKER_03]: There's, I'm sure there's people worse, worse comments out of there than that.
- 1:05:18[SPEAKER_03]: I was telling her, I was telling her, I was telling her, I was telling her, I was telling her, I was telling her, I was telling her, yeah, absolutely.
- 1:05:23[SPEAKER_03]: I was telling Justin before, like, I'm given content to Justin, or sorry, Josh, and the one on the radar's game.
- 1:05:30[SPEAKER_03]: And people are like, oh, great, that's awesome.
- 1:05:33[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, we don't know what to expect, to other, this guy goes, nice teeth.
- 1:05:37[SPEAKER_03]: That's what I'm like.
- 1:05:40[SPEAKER_04]: That guy, bro.
- 1:05:41[SPEAKER_04]: That guy, that guy, bro.
- 1:05:43[SPEAKER_03]: They're all that, but Larry said, that's what you took out of what I said.
- 1:05:47[SPEAKER_03]: I'm gonna say it thanks.
- 1:05:50[SPEAKER_03]: You got a pretty mouth.
