  Speaker 1: Oh boy.
• 0:51
Speaker 1: Well, Tesla is recalling 125,227.1 vehicles in the US because of reported failures in seat belt warning systems.
• 1:02
  Speaker 1: Oh boy, the recall covers 2012 to 24 Model S, 2017 to 2023 Model 3, 2015 to 2024 Model X and 2020 to 2023 Model Y vehicles.
• 1:19
Speaker 1: When a driver has unbuckled the seat belt warning light and chime in affected vehicles, it might not activate as intended and that does not comply with federal regulations.
• 1:30
  Speaker 1: You bad boy.
• 1:31
Speaker 1: Tesla will institute an over-the-air software update in affected vehicles.
• 1:36
Speaker 1: The update's expected to be deployed in June.
• 1:39
Speaker 1: I guess they dial into your car in June, you not knowing it.
• 1:43
Speaker 3: Yeah, but you know, if you don't have your seatbelt on.
• 1:45
Speaker 3: It's either not necessarily intentional, because if you're backing out of the driveway and moving the car around, you don't put the seatbelt on.
• 1:53
Speaker 1: It's a safety thing, and so they've got to have the dinger in there.
• 1:57
Speaker 1: All right, nissan has issued a do not drive warning for 83,920 model year 2002 to 2006 vehicles equipped with recalled, unrepaired Takata airbags.
• 2:13
Speaker 1: If you have one of these vehicles, do not drive it until the repair is completed and the defective airbag is replaced.
• 2:20
Speaker 1: Wow that, according to NHTSA.
• 2:23
  Speaker 1: Nhtsa, right there.
• 2:30
Speaker 1: Mm-hmm bag is replaced.
• 2:31
Speaker 1: Wow that, according to nizza, right down there.
• 2:33
Speaker 1: Um warning covers certain model year 2002 to 2006 nissan centras, 02 to 04 nissan pathfinders and 02 to 03 infinity qx4 vehicles.
• 2:39
Speaker 1: And, by the way, if you ever have any questions about your car, want to find out if you've got recalls on your car, easy thing to do go to nitsa n-h-t-s-a dot gov slash recalls.
• 2:56
Speaker 1: Enter your 17 digit vehicle id number, which you can find on your insurance card, and it will tell you whether there is a recall and whether or not that recall has been completed.
• 3:09
Speaker 1: Very good, my old Corvette actually had one.
• 3:12
Speaker 1: I did not know this Just took care of a couple for Kylie, but unfortunately it was out of date.
• 3:19
Speaker 1: So in other words, it did take place within the allotted time period, so I had to fork over $700.
• 3:26
Speaker 1: Oh, for the replacement, the steering column lock, which on my car I actually have a key that goes into the dashboard like a 1950 Chevy Deluxe.
• 3:41
Speaker 1: It goes into the dashboard and you turn it, it's got the little chip on it and all that.
• 3:46
Speaker 1: Well, when you do that, the steering column has a lock and it unlocks that lock.
• 3:52
Speaker 1: Well, that lock had gone bad, unbeknownst to me, until the little light comes on and goes.
• 3:59
Speaker 1: Do not drive this vehicle until you get the steering column lock fixed.
• 4:05
Speaker 1: Seven hundred dollars later, it works.
• 4:09
Speaker 3: Wow, there's that no, she had, that was a few years ago she had a door latch inspection for one of the rear doors and then she had a uh, a coolant scent coolant engine coolant coolant sensor that she had to have looked at and replaced.
• 4:24
Speaker 3: So it didn't take very long.
• 4:26
Speaker 3: Did it cost you any money?
• 4:28
Speaker 2: oh no, no, it was already took longer to get the parts than it did I think they had the parts.
• 4:32
Speaker 3: It took longer to get it in the shot and that's another thing I should have went off on is that they don't make appointments anymore at dealers.
• 4:38
Speaker 3: You want your car in the dealer, you drop it off.
• 4:40
Speaker 3: We'll call you when it's ready could be tomorrow.
• 4:42
Speaker 3: Tomorrow, it could be three days from now.
• 4:44
Speaker 1: I think it became pain for them.
• 4:46
Speaker 2: Yeah, particularly whenever parts got hard to get Well.
• 4:49
Speaker 1: Ford Motor Company said Thursday it's recalling more than 100,000 Lincoln Aviator large crossovers due to faulty backup cameras.
• 4:56
Speaker 1: I'm so sick of this story.
• 4:58
Speaker 1: Could you make a camera that works?
• 5:01
Speaker 2: We ought to know about that.
• 5:02
Speaker 2: Huh, Some of them make really good cameras.
• 5:04
Speaker 2: I mean, it's almost like high def Some of them, Others don't work at all Exactly.
• 5:10
  Speaker 2: It's like what?
• 5:12
Speaker 1: Yeah, recall covers 2020 to 2024 models.
• 5:17
  Speaker 2: Dee-doo, dee-doo, dee-doo.
• 5:18
Speaker 2: He didn't see it.
• 5:19
  Speaker 2: No he didn't.
• 5:21
Speaker 3: I was switching cameras when you were doing that Back and forth.
• 5:25
  Speaker 1: Okay.
• 5:25
Speaker 1: Well, I'm sure that our audience appreciates that.
• 5:28
  Speaker 1: Not really.
• 5:28
Speaker 1: Other recalls include Volkswagen ID.4, 21 to 23 model years.
• 5:33
Speaker 1: Instrument panel display malfunction.
• 5:35
Speaker 1: Airbags don't deploy in the Jeep Grand Cherokee for 2024.
• 5:40
  Speaker 1: Take it back.
• 5:40
Speaker 1: Hood may open while driving.
• 5:43
Speaker 1: Now that could be a problem.
• 5:45
Speaker 1: That could definitely be, a problem and you're a lamborghini urus for 2023 and 2024.
• 5:50
Speaker 1: I guess that's the way you pronounce it.
• 5:51
Speaker 1: Well, no, I wouldn't know, nor will I ever know, because I ain't owning any lamborghinis but that's a mid-sized engine, so is it the back bonnet or the front?
• 5:59
Speaker 1: It says the hood now in america, the hoods Now in America, the hood's up front, but it wouldn't have anything to do with the engine.
• 6:08
Speaker 3: Well, but are you sure that's a?
• 6:10
  Speaker 1: mid-engine.
• 6:11
Speaker 1: No, it's an Urus.
• 6:12
Speaker 1: I think that that's a Like an SUV.
• 6:14
  Speaker 1: I think it's an SUV.
• 6:16
  Speaker 3: Oh, okay, an.
• 6:16
  Speaker 1: Urus, urus, urus.
• 6:18
Speaker 1: Brakes may activate unexpectedly on the Mazda CX-90 for 2024.
• 6:28
Speaker 3: Driving along, activate unexpectedly on the mazda cx90 for 2024, driving along the brakes.
• 6:30
Speaker 3: I thought they were.
• 6:31
  Speaker 3: Aren't those going away, the 90s cx90s?
• 6:32
  Speaker 3: I don't know?
• 6:32

• 6:41
Speaker 1: And the kia nero ev for 2022.
• 6:44
Speaker 1: That's being recalled too.
• 6:45
Speaker 1: So those are the recalls.
• 6:46
Speaker 1: There's too many of them, yeah, too many, too many, too many.
• 6:51
Speaker 1: But remember, car manufacturers really aren't manufacturers, they're assemblers.
• 6:56
Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, now they may design it, but they send it over to the mike mars digit factory and you make the digits.
• 7:04
Speaker 1: Or they might send it over to the Jeff Zekin brake factory and you make the brakes.
• 7:09
Speaker 1: Then you send it all to the factory and they put it all together.
• 7:14
  Speaker 2: They assemble it.
• 7:14
Speaker 2: There's no, stopping, me you hope that in a year or two, whenever you need parts, that that little company mom and pop or whoever it is that's making that ABS module over there for your vehicle is still in business well, that happened during the strike I will tell you that for the most part and I asked this question about the sides of the toyota corolla that I saw being stamped in Mississippi by 12-year-olds Nope, not, nope.
• 7:46
Speaker 1: But I will tell you that they make these side panels with the two doors at the same time.
• 7:57
Speaker 1: So you've got kind of like part of the rear quarter, part of the front quarter, and then you've got the doors and the surround around the doors.
• 8:05
Speaker 1: That's all stamped as one piece.
• 8:07
Speaker 1: So I said so where are the cars that they're going to?
• 8:11
Speaker 1: Oh, this run is for the dealers, for replacement.
• 8:16
Speaker 1: So you get t-boned, you know.
• 8:19
Speaker 1: Then they cut this thing out.
• 8:20
Speaker 1: There you go, there's the door along with the surround.
• 8:23
Speaker 1: I'll be darned so.
• 8:24
Speaker 1: They make these things in excess.
• 8:27
Speaker 1: So when it time comes for you to get a new piece, they've got it right.
• 8:32
  Speaker 1: Interesting it is.
• 8:34
Speaker 1: All of that's very interesting to me.
• 8:36
Speaker 1: So I guess the fire guy is out extinguishing other fires.
• 8:39

• 9:15
Speaker 1: Now this particular Fleetwood.
• 9:18
Speaker 1: I did not know that they made a two-door Fleetwood.
• 9:22
Speaker 1: I always thought that those were the Coupe de Ville's, but apparently not.
• 9:25
Speaker 1: Is it a Brougham?
• 9:26
  Speaker 1: I don't know.
• 9:27
Speaker 1: This is a Cadillac.
• 9:28
Speaker 1: I'm not going to show you the price, but there it is right there, cadillac Fleetwood.

• 9:37
Speaker 1: Landau yeah 1983 Cadillac Fleetwood.
• 9:42
Speaker 1: Looks good, looks all stock.
• 9:48
Speaker 1: How much do you think that they get $14,000.
• 9:50
Speaker 1: $14,000 on the sold car roundup from Hemmings $9,000.
• 9:52
  Speaker 1: $4,677.

• 9:57
Speaker 3: I'm going to buy three of them at my price and we're going to put a carport.
• 10:01
Speaker 1: We're going to have a carport put out front of your garage so you can cover the back end of it.
• 10:07
Speaker 3: Stick it in the garage.
• 10:07
Speaker 3: Only the front end will fit.
• 10:11
Speaker 1: Mars, yes, sir, here's one for me, if you decide to buy me this, a 1963 Chevrolet Corvette convertible 63.
• 10:21
  Speaker 1: 63.

Speaker 1: It's got the two fake air ducts on the hood, on either side of the hood, and white wall tires.
• 10:33
Speaker 1: White wall tires, white wall tires.

Speaker 1: Probably a total restoration.
• 10:53
Speaker 1: Be my guest For that kind of money I didn't have coffee this morning.
• 10:56
Speaker 1: Now, if it had the split window, coupe style, I think it would probably be worth twice as much yeah.
• 11:04
  Speaker 3: Six figures Easy.
• 11:06
  Speaker 1: How about a 1998 Chevrolet K1500 pick-em-up truck?
• 11:11
  Speaker 1: Looks completely stock.
• 11:13
Speaker 1: Got a Z71 suspension on it.
• 11:15
Speaker 1: This looks like it is an extended cab.
• 11:19
Speaker 1: It may be a double cab, but I think it's an extended cab.
• 11:20
Speaker 1: It may be a double cab, but I think it's an extended cab.
• 11:22
Speaker 1: I have no idea.

• 11:37
Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the suspension.

Speaker 2: I'm going to go with 18.
• 11:41
  Speaker 1: 18.
• 11:41
  Speaker 1: Jeffrey, 14.
• 11:43
  Speaker 1: 10.
• 11:43
  Speaker 1: 10.5.
• 11:45
Speaker 1: Must be a rust pick.
• 11:46
Speaker 1: Missed it by that much.
• 11:48
  Speaker 3: Here's one a 1969 Ford Mustang.
• 11:52
Speaker 1: Looks kind of stock 69.
• 11:54
Speaker 1: It could be a real color.
• 11:56
Speaker 1: The front fender color-wise doesn't match the rest of the car so I mean it needs a little work but it's certainly drivable.
• 12:04
Speaker 1: It looks like 1969 Ford Mustang Fastback.
• 12:10
Speaker 1: I like, I think that of all the Mustangs I think that's old ones, I think that's my favorite Because you got the squared off back end Fastback, fastback.
• 12:17
Speaker 1: Not the squared off.
• 12:19
  Speaker 3: My favorite.
• 12:20
Speaker 1: Because it's got the squared off back end Fastback, fastback Not the squared off the back of the tail.
• 12:22
Speaker 1: What year did you say it was A nine?
• 12:24
Speaker 1: Read my lips 1969.
• 12:27
  Speaker 1: 69.
• 12:28
Speaker 1: Okay, it's got a hood scoop on it.
• 12:31
Speaker 1: Looks like factory stock.
• 12:32
Speaker 1: Everything except the wheels look stock.
• 12:35
Speaker 1: What do you think something like that would do for you?
• 12:38
  Speaker 1: Eight?
• 12:39
  Speaker 2: grand?
• 12:39
Speaker 2: What Eight grand stock, what do you think something like that would go for?
• 12:41
  Speaker 2: 8 grand?
• 12:41
  Speaker 2: What 8 grand?
• 12:42
  Speaker 2: I'm going to say 28.
• 12:43
  Speaker 1: Closer About 39.9.
• 12:46
Speaker 3: I see, I'm trying to picture it.
• 12:48
Speaker 3: Let me see it.
• 12:48
Speaker 2: It depends on how it's packaged there.
• 12:51
Speaker 2: Okay, I was thinking that's like a boss or something with the hood scoop on it.
• 12:56
  Speaker 1: I said it had a.
• 12:57
Speaker 2: Well, I'm dealing with things over here too.
• 13:00
Speaker 2: Well, you need to stop that and play the game.
• 13:03
Speaker 1: Okay, Now here's one that I think that we all would be interested in A 1969 Mercury Cyclone.
• 13:11
Speaker 2: Oh, those are good, I like those.
• 13:14
Speaker 1: This one looks all stock and it's bad to the bone looking.
• 13:18
  Speaker 3: I'm thinking $34,000.
• 13:22
  Speaker 2: 69 Cycle.
• 13:23
  Speaker 2: 69 Cycle.
• 13:25
Speaker 1: It looks completely stock.
• 13:26
Speaker 3: Because they made different versions of it.
• 13:28
Speaker 2: Yeah, I know, I'm trying to figure, you know, is that the big block?
• 13:30
Speaker 3: How big a block it is.
• 13:31
Speaker 2: Whatever, it's a cool car I'm going to go for $40,000.
• 13:39
  Speaker 1: $57,750.
• 13:42
Speaker 3: Check it out, yeah.
• 13:44
  Speaker 1: The white one.
• 13:45
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, they were really good-looking cars they were.
• 13:48
  Speaker 3: I liked them.
• 13:49
Speaker 2: And they were all big blocks, if I remember right, and it just depended on whether you got the.
• 13:53
  Speaker 3: I think you got to have a 390 or a 428 or a 429.
• 13:57
Speaker 3: I think they make an Eliminator.
• 13:59
Speaker 3: No, that was a Cougar made an Eliminator, I don't know.
• 14:01
Speaker 1: It's got some badging down there.
• 14:03
Speaker 2: Yeah, that was for a NASCAR.
• 14:04
Speaker 1: All right, how about this?
• 14:05
Speaker 1: Let's go in the other direction.
• 14:06
  Speaker 1: A 1941 Chevy 3500 pickup truck.
• 14:10
Speaker 1: Now that would be in today's terms, a heavy duty, a super duty, one ton.
• 14:17
Speaker 1: I can't really see the back end of it, but it may have something up in the back.
• 14:21
Speaker 1: But whatever it looks like it's been well, it looks like it's been painted, let me put it that way.
• 14:28
  Speaker 1: It's got a 1941 license plate.
• 14:32
Speaker 1: Looks like texas on it, maybe california, not sure.
• 14:35
  Speaker 1: It's a red and black.
• 14:36
Speaker 1: What do you think?
• 14:38
Speaker 1: Something like that would go for $12,000.
• 14:41
Speaker 2: I was thinking more like $9,000.
• 14:43
  Speaker 1: $11,000, $2,888.
• 14:44
  Speaker 1: Getting closer.
• 14:45
Speaker 1: The problem with those is you can't really take them on the freeway.
• 14:49
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 14:50
Speaker 3: Because they, they won't keep up.
• 14:53
Speaker 1: Well, yeah, because we didn't have freeways in 1941.
• 14:56
  Speaker 1: In 1948, Buick 51.
• 14:58
  Speaker 1: Weighs in 1941.
• 14:59
  Speaker 1: The 1948 Buick 51.
• 15:03
Speaker 1: This thing, just by the looks of it, it probably weighs about five tons.
• 15:08
Speaker 1: Seriously, this thing is massive and I think that my grandfather had one of these.
• 15:15
Speaker 1: It even has the sunshade over the windshield.
• 15:17
Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, you want to see it.
• 15:18
  Speaker 1: There it is.
• 15:18
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, it even has the sun shade over the windshield.
• 15:20
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, you want to see it.
• 15:21
  Speaker 1: There it is.
• 15:23
Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, it's huge, it's huge.
• 15:27
Speaker 1: So how much do you think something like that would go for?
• 15:28
Speaker 1: I would put it at $34,000.
• 15:30
  Speaker 1: Really $27,000.
• 15:32
  Speaker 1: How about $14,175,000?
• 15:34
  Speaker 1: Oh, wow.
• 15:35
Speaker 3: Yeah, you're not paying by the pound there.
• 15:36
Speaker 1: Well, I'll tell you what.
• 15:38
Speaker 1: You ain't finding parts for that thing.
• 15:40
Speaker 1: I can tell you right now, 66 Lincoln Continental here, there you go, went at the suicide doors.
• 15:46
  Speaker 1: Went for 73.5.
• 15:48
Speaker 1: That's way too much.
• 15:50
Speaker 1: I ain't paying that All for the suicide doors.
• 15:52
  Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
• 15:53
  Speaker 1: 69 Jeep CJ5.
• 15:57
  Speaker 1: Oh man, 19.9.
• 16:05
Speaker 3: See, I was thinking probably 15.
• 16:07
Speaker 1: Here's one that I actually thought so much of this car.
• 16:10
Speaker 1: I sent it to my Katie Because she always loved this thing, the Pontiac Fiero oh 9,000.
• 16:17
Speaker 1: It's red it looks really good.
• 16:18
  Speaker 3: Oh, $9,000.
• 16:20
Speaker 1: It's red, it looks really good.
• 16:23
Speaker 1: A lot of them are red.
• 16:24
  Speaker 1: 1988 Pontiac Fiero.
• 16:26
Speaker 1: No horsepower, but it was a cool looking car.
• 16:29
  Speaker 1: $9,000.
• 16:29
  Speaker 1: $8,000, yeah, $13,125.
• 16:31
Speaker 1: I would probably spend that kind of money on that kind of car.
• 16:35
Speaker 3: So that's our sold car roundup for this week.
• 16:37
Speaker 1: It's not my cup of tea.
• 16:40
Speaker 3: No, Not that one.
• 16:40
Speaker 3: Why come it just doesn't do anything for me.
• 16:42
  Speaker 3: It's not appealing.
• 16:43
Speaker 3: What is appealing to you?
• 16:45
Speaker 3: Oh, an Aston Martin 770.
• 16:48
Speaker 1: No, no no, if I had, if I said Jeff, here's $20,000, go spend it on what you want, $20,000.
• 16:54
Speaker 3: Well, I'd have to look at what's available for $20,000.
• 16:58
Speaker 3: I'd check Emmons out.
• 16:59
  Speaker 1: I know that.
• 17:00
Speaker 3: No, no, no, no, no, there's a big variety, I like.
• 17:03
Speaker 1: I'm talking about a cool car that you would take on the Hot Rod Tour.
• 17:06
Speaker 3: Oh, I'd find like a 70s, like one of that Cyclone, or maybe a Nova, a Cougar, something like that.
• 17:12
  Speaker 3: I don't think you're going to buy anything for $20,000.
• 17:16
Speaker 1: You could get a fixer-upper for around that.
• 17:18
Speaker 1: I want somebody else to fix it all up.
• 17:21
Speaker 3: Then you're going to spend more than $20,000.
• 17:24
Speaker 3: Well, probably For my $20,000, I'm going to go and maybe do a little body work to it.
• 17:32
Speaker 2: What would you buy?
• 17:33
Speaker 2: Mars For $20,000, I'd buy that 2002 Corvette that's sitting down at Emmons.
• 17:38
Speaker 2: Oh, is that still 36,000 miles?
• 17:40
Speaker 2: He's down to 19-something on it.
• 17:41
  Speaker 3: There you go.
• 17:42
Speaker 3: Mike's got his car.
• 17:45
  Speaker 2: Beck here.

• 17:51
Speaker 1: so it's going to be one of those deals where you're not going to be able to get Becky to agree to it.
• 17:56
Speaker 1: It's going to be one of those deals where you're just going to have to go buy it and show up with it.
• 18:05
Speaker 2: Well, I thought about getting a storage building and kind of hiding it into one of those little storage buildings.
• 18:12
Speaker 1: Mac what is this extra bill here for $500?
• 18:16
  Speaker 3: a month A storage shed.
• 18:18
Speaker 3: I don't think Becky talks like that.
• 18:20
  Speaker 2: No.
• 18:21
  Speaker 3: Well, that's funny.
• 18:23
Speaker 3: Yeah, I'd buy something like from the 70s, or maybe go even less, go into the 60s, like you know, 68, 69.
• 18:34
Speaker 2: You can get some of those.
• 18:35
