The Need to Transition
Prayer is communing with God who loves us. It cannot be approached haphazardly or carelessly. We must approach it with reverence and awe, for we are drawing near to Him who loves us deeply. He is our Savior and Lord. Therefore, we must transition into prayer slowly and not just enter into it as if it is just one of those things we do because we are Christians. It is a sacred moment.
