  It is a Thursday, it is the 20th of April and you, and I open

  Today, we are racing through these books from John these

  letters from John. And today we reached the final,

  we reached the third John. This is a letter that he writes.

  Well, we know who arrived, just went to, this is to someone

  This is under the thumb of the Roman Empire that lived and

  breathed through control and through fear.

  And so to have communities of deer and close friends was quite

  unusual and this is the effect that Jesus has and his

  disciples. They just loved each other which
• 1:39
  was something altogether unusual for that time and place.

  So join me as we travel back in time to the streets of Ephesus
• 1:50
  as we read together. These words written by John in
• 1:53
  his third letter. This letter is from John, the

  Elder I am writing to Gaius my dear friend whom I love in the
• 2:13
  truth. Dear friend.

  I hope all is well with you and that you are as healthy and body
• 2:20
  as you are strong in spirit. Some of the traveling teachers
• 2:24
  recently returned and made me very happy by telling me about
• 2:28
  your faithfulness and that you are living according to the
• 2:31
  truth, I Could Have No Greater Joy than to hear that.

  My children are following the truth.
• 2:38
  Dear friend, you are being faithful to God.
• 2:41
  When you care for the traveling preachers, who pass through,
• 2:44
  even though they are strangers to you, for they have told the
• 2:48
  church here of your loving friendship.
• 2:51
  Please continue, providing for such teachers in a manner that
• 2:54
  pleases God for, they are traveling for the Lord and they
• 2:59
  accept nothing from people who are not Believers.

  So we ourselves should support them so that we can be their
• 3:06
  Partners as they teach. The truth, I wrote to the church
• 3:11
  about this but diotrephes who loves to be the leader, refuses
• 3:17
  to have anything to do with us. When I come I will report some
• 3:21
  of the things he is doing and the evil accusations, he is
• 3:25
  making against us. Not only does he refuse to
• 3:29
  welcome the traveling teachers but also tells others not to
• 3:33
  help them and when they do help he puts them out of the church.

  Dear friend. Don't let this bad example

  influence you follow only what is good?

  Remember that those who do good prove that they are God's
• 3:49
  children and those who do evil prove that they do not know God.

  Everyone speaks highly of Demetrius, as does the truth
• 3:59
  itself. We ourselves can say the same

  for him and you know, we speak the truth.

  children now, who are so inspirational.

  We just thank you for loving us and guiding Us in such practical
• 5:31
  ways. You were wonderful and we praise
• 5:35
  you and hold, you dear more dear than anything else?
