Philanthropist on Israel's evolving needs
Jane Sherman, a long-time leader in Jewish philanthropy, will be honored on Thursday by Orr Shalom, a non-profit that provides care for children, youth and young adults at risk. Her involvement with the organization, together with her husband Larry, extends back decades and is deeply personal. Sherman spoke to KAN's Naomi Segal about evolving needs in Israeli society especially in the wake of October 7 and the ensuing war.
