- 1:45Speaker 2: Welcome Carmen, Hi Victor, thanks for having me back.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Wonderful to have you back again. We're going to be
- 1:51Speaker 1: talking about your new book, your Astrological Energy, Maximize the
- 1:57Speaker 1: Power of your Birth Chart. But first of all, for
- 2:00Speaker 1: listeners meeting you for the first time, please share your
- 2:03Speaker 1: early path and the event that opened your fascination and
- 2:07Speaker 1: pursuit of astrology and all things metaphysical.
- 2:10Speaker 2: Sure, so it really started when I was in high school.
- 2:15Speaker 2: I always was very sensitive and intuitive and could feel
- 2:18Speaker 2: energy and would dream things and was just very spiritual
- 2:22Speaker 2: and didn't really understand why I was the way I was.
- 2:25Speaker 2: I was very different than everyone in my family. And
- 2:28Speaker 2: one night in high school, it was my senior year,
- 2:31Speaker 2: I came back from a basketball game that I had
- 2:34Speaker 2: played in and I always had to have my door
- 2:36Speaker 2: face my bed facing the door with the nightlight on
- 2:40Speaker 2: because I was always kind of afraid of the dark.
- 2:42Speaker 2: And I went to sleep like normal, and I woke
- 2:44Speaker 2: up and I saw a glowing ball of light in
- 2:47Speaker 2: my doorway. It was bigger than a softball, translucent, like yellow, watery,
- 2:53Speaker 2: floating there and I tried to yell for my mother,
- 2:56Speaker 2: but I had no voice. I couldn't move. It's like
- 2:58Speaker 2: I was frozen. And I laid there for hours watching
- 3:01Speaker 2: this thing, and I kept saying, please, don't have it
- 3:04Speaker 2: come to my room in my brain and my thoughts,
- 3:07Speaker 2: and it never did. It just hovered there and then
- 3:09Speaker 2: it would go down the hank come right back. And
- 3:11Speaker 2: after hours it's like it released me and I was
- 3:14Speaker 2: able to yell, Mom, look in my doorway, and so
- 3:18Speaker 2: my mother saw it too, and so for the first time,
- 3:21Speaker 2: she believed me. But she tried to rationalize it. You know,
- 3:23Speaker 2: maybe someone shining a flashlight. I'm like, no, maybe it's
- 3:27Speaker 2: a lightning bug. I'm like no, it's too big. She said,
- 3:30Speaker 2: just go back to sleep, and so I laid there
- 3:33Speaker 2: till I think I passed out, and the next day
- 3:35Speaker 2: she said that was no lightning bug. I don't know
- 3:37Speaker 2: what that was. And so after that I started getting
- 3:40Speaker 2: books about angels and spirit guides and all these things.
- 3:44Speaker 2: And I got my first astrology book when I was sixteen,
- 3:48Speaker 2: and I just fell in love with astrology. It validated
- 3:52Speaker 2: my personality and why I have those kind of experiences
- 3:55Speaker 2: in the first place, so that's kind of my story.
- 3:58Speaker 2: And then from there I just I started doing charts
- 4:02Speaker 2: by hand and practiced and started really being astralger at
- 4:06Speaker 2: nineteen and I've been doing it ever since. I'm going
- 4:09Speaker 2: to be fifty in August, so it's been a long time,
- 4:12Speaker 2: my whole life.
- 4:13Speaker 1: How did these experiences lead you to clinical social work
- 4:17Speaker 1: and psychotherapy.
- 4:18Speaker 3: Oh, that's a great question.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Yes. I wanted to help other people that also had
- 4:24Speaker 2: unexplained experiences or that felt, you know, like they were alone.
- 4:29Speaker 2: And really the big thing was victors that ever since
- 4:32Speaker 2: I was young, people would come up and tell me
- 4:34Speaker 2: all their problems and I never understood until I learned
- 4:39Speaker 2: astrology why and then it all made sense. But I thought,
- 4:43Speaker 2: you know, people like to share really deep secrets with
- 4:46Speaker 2: me and very you know, painful things. I said, you know,
- 4:49Speaker 2: I want to be a counselor, and so I decided
- 4:52Speaker 2: I was going to be a child's psychologist. I love kids,
- 4:55Speaker 2: and working with kids is what I thought I would
- 4:57Speaker 2: end up doing. But I actually ended up working with
- 5:00Speaker 2: trauma survivors for the Air Force for over twenty five
- 5:04Speaker 2: years and doing prevention and response and suicide prevention and
- 5:08Speaker 2: all of that. So I never thought the journey would
- 5:11Speaker 2: lead me working with adults because I always thought i'd
- 5:14Speaker 2: work more with children, which I did start out doing
- 5:17Speaker 2: children and teens, but then I just moved into what
- 5:21Speaker 2: I was meant to do, which I guess is working
- 5:22Speaker 2: with people that were a little bit older. So but no,
- 5:27Speaker 2: I always brought my love of astrology into it. But
- 5:31Speaker 2: I always had a separate astrology business and then my
- 5:34Speaker 2: normal job, so I really kept them, you know, separate,
- 5:37Speaker 2: and I had two jobs my whole life, really and
- 5:40Speaker 2: you know.
- 5:41Speaker 1: So you know, it's funny. And the reason I was
- 5:44Speaker 1: chuckling when you mentioned about people would come to you
- 5:46Speaker 1: and tell you their problems. I had the same experience
- 5:48Speaker 1: when I was younger. And I'm just wondering. You know,
- 5:51Speaker 1: we talked about my chart the last time. We'll leave
- 5:53Speaker 1: that for later if we talk about it all today,
- 5:56Speaker 1: But I'm just curious as to where that connection comes.
- 5:58Speaker 1: Where people also saw in someone that they could come
- 6:01Speaker 1: to and share their experiences and their worries and so on.
- 6:05Speaker 1: That's fascinating. Thank you for sharing that.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Yeah, you're welcome.
- 6:09Speaker 1: You blend all of this work together and you're the
- 6:14Speaker 1: prolific author with eleven books. Today, we're going to be
- 6:18Speaker 1: discussing your new book, your Astrological Energy, Maximize the Power
- 6:22Speaker 1: of your Birth Chart. But the last time you were on,
- 6:25Speaker 1: we discussed your book Moon Signs, Houses and Healing Gain
- 6:30Speaker 1: Emotional Strength and Resilience through Astrology. What inspired that book
- 6:35Speaker 1: and what did you share with readers.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Yeah, so that book was really inspired by my Sun Signs,
- 6:41Speaker 2: Houses and Healing book. And then I thought, you know,
- 6:44Speaker 2: the moon Everyone kind of knows their sun sign, but
- 6:47Speaker 2: the moon sign is actually more powerful in our birth chart.
- 6:52Speaker 2: It's really the most powerful placement that we have because
- 6:56Speaker 2: it's our emotional our spirit, our soul, how we react
- 7:00Speaker 2: to things, how we show love, how we find happiness, comfort,
- 7:04Speaker 2: and stability in life. So that moon sign is where
- 7:07Speaker 2: we're vulnerable. That's like our deeper loving self. So I
- 7:11Speaker 2: wanted to really teach others how important the moon sign
- 7:15Speaker 2: was in healing and in overcoming obstacles and becoming more resilient.
- 7:20Speaker 2: And I feel like a lot of people don't realize
- 7:23Speaker 2: that moon sign is even stronger in your chart than
- 7:27Speaker 2: your sun's sign. And so that's why I wanted to
- 7:30Speaker 2: write that book to highlight that because I always you know,
- 7:34Speaker 2: I'm a Virgo sun, but oh wow, my moon's and
- 7:37Speaker 2: aries and I've always such a powerful emotional nature that'll
- 7:41Speaker 2: just come up really fast. And I understood why now
- 7:45Speaker 2: when I really tapped into my moon, and that moon
- 7:48Speaker 2: sign helps you with the strengths to overcome pain and heartbreak,
- 7:52Speaker 2: and that moon sign energy is where we really have
- 7:55Speaker 2: to tap in to make those emotional changes in our
- 7:59Speaker 2: life and to forgive and let go and move forward.
- 8:03Speaker 2: It's that moon sign that's so so key.
- 8:07Speaker 1: And my moon is Inaquarius. What would that say to you?
- 8:11Speaker 3: Oh wow?
- 8:11Speaker 2: Well, first of all, you know, Aquariuses are humanitarians. You know,
- 8:17Speaker 2: you want to help others on a large scale. You
- 8:21Speaker 2: care about people, but you're able to do it in
- 8:23Speaker 2: a detached way, so you're able you don't always take
- 8:27Speaker 2: on everybody's stuff, you know, like you may be empathic,
- 8:30Speaker 2: but you're able to kind of have a boundary. Because
- 8:33Speaker 2: Aquariuses are an air sign, so they're intellectual and they're innovative.
- 8:39Speaker 2: They're all about doing things that are a little bit
- 8:41Speaker 2: non traditional, that are unique and eccentric and very different
- 8:46Speaker 2: than other people. So emotionally, you also like to have
- 8:50Speaker 2: lots of friends and acquaintances, Like it's a social moon,
- 8:54Speaker 2: you know, networking with people, you know, doing you know,
- 8:58Speaker 2: this podcast, doing radio, all these things is very Aquarian
- 9:01Speaker 2: moon because you connect with people through knowledge, through learning
- 9:05Speaker 2: about things right that they share. And Aquarius actually rules astrology.
- 9:10Speaker 2: They're the sign of astrology, you know, the planet Uranus.
- 9:13Speaker 2: So it's open to things that are different, that aren't traditional,
- 9:18Speaker 2: you know absolutely.
- 9:20Speaker 1: You know, it's interesting that you shared that because a
- 9:23Speaker 1: lot of my lot of my life I had difficulty
- 9:28Speaker 1: with boundaries until my early fifties when I realized the
- 9:31Speaker 1: healing power of saying no when it was appropriate to
- 9:34Speaker 1: say no. And you know, just to give you the
- 9:37Speaker 1: whole chart again, the is it Capricord moon and Aquarius
- 9:41Speaker 1: and cancer rising cancerous.
- 9:43Speaker 2: That's why it's your cancer rising victor because that cancer rising,
- 9:49Speaker 2: the rising sign is your chart ruler. So guess what
- 9:52Speaker 2: your chart ruler is?
- 9:53Speaker 4: The moon?
- 9:54Speaker 2: The emotions, So you're very empathic, and you would just
- 9:58Speaker 2: feel everybody stuck and want to help, then want to nurture,
- 10:01Speaker 2: then want to take care of others. So it's that water.
- 10:04Speaker 2: That moon is your ruler. Then you have an earthy
- 10:07Speaker 2: Capricorn sun and then you have this Aquarius. So what
- 10:11Speaker 2: makes you more sensitive is that rising sign that is
- 10:14Speaker 2: a powerful thing in the chart.
- 10:16Speaker 1: So learning that lesson and late in life of yeah,
- 10:20Speaker 1: how to say those is something that I probably have
- 10:22Speaker 1: to really fight for my internal self.
- 10:25Speaker 3: Right, absolutely, absolutely.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Your book has chapter after chapter sharing the moon sun relationship.
- 10:34Speaker 1: Please share with us a few examples of how moon
- 10:37Speaker 1: signs affect sun signs.
- 10:39Speaker 2: Yes, so the sun sign is the outer personality. It's
- 10:45Speaker 2: what you share and show people, and it's kind of,
- 10:48Speaker 2: I want to say, your mask, but it is a
- 10:51Speaker 2: little bit. It's what you naturally people notice about you
- 10:54Speaker 2: because you're open with it. And then the moon sign
- 10:57Speaker 2: is your hidden nature. You don't typically show your moon
- 11:03Speaker 2: traits and energies until you trust someone because the moon's
- 11:07Speaker 2: sign is where you feel vulnerable. So whatever sign it's
- 11:10Speaker 2: in is the energy you're gonna show with emotion, and
- 11:14Speaker 2: whatever house it's in also impacts how you show emotion
- 11:18Speaker 2: and how you express yourself. So if your moon's an
- 11:21Speaker 2: Aquarius but it's in the fourth house, which is a
- 11:25Speaker 2: cancer house, it's going to make you more more protective,
- 11:28Speaker 2: more sensitive, more empathic, more emotional, you know. So the
- 11:32Speaker 2: houses matter too of where that planet the planets are at.
- 11:37Speaker 2: But what it does is that moon sign is the
- 11:40Speaker 2: real you. And so when people get to know you,
- 11:43Speaker 2: they'll be like, wow, you're very different than I thought
- 11:45Speaker 2: you were. And that's especially true if your moon sign's
- 11:48Speaker 2: different than your sun's sign, and if it's different than
- 11:51Speaker 2: your rising sign. People are really shocked when they really
- 11:55Speaker 2: get to know you, because they don't really know you
- 11:57Speaker 2: until you open up and bevulnerable and show them how
- 12:02Speaker 2: you love and how you take care of people. So
- 12:04Speaker 2: most people, unless we have an intimate relationship with them,
- 12:08Speaker 2: we don't always see people's moon signs. It can come out,
- 12:12Speaker 2: you know, if they get frustrated or irritated, or during
- 12:15Speaker 2: a full moon, you know, and sometimes people get more
- 12:19Speaker 2: you know, irritable and more emotional and they express, you know,
- 12:22Speaker 2: their emotions a little bit more on their sleeve. But
- 12:25Speaker 2: for the most part, you really got to get to
- 12:28Speaker 2: know someone for them to trust you to show you
- 12:31Speaker 2: how they really feel. And so it's important to know
- 12:36Speaker 2: both because it's balancing. You can use your moon sign
- 12:41Speaker 2: strengths and energies to help you overcome things, and it
- 12:46Speaker 2: blends well with your Sun sign strengths. You know, you
- 12:49Speaker 2: want to look at both of course and see how
- 12:52Speaker 2: you can, you know, bring them together, because sometimes they
- 12:55Speaker 2: could be very different and they could be very opposite energies.
- 12:59Speaker 2: So that's where it can be a little difficult sometimes,
- 13:02Speaker 2: Like you know, I'm a Virgo Sun, which is earth
- 13:04Speaker 2: and very shy, and then I'm an aries Moon, which
- 13:07Speaker 2: is very straightforward and tells the truth and wants action,
- 13:11Speaker 2: and they don't. They're a little bit impulsive. So I
- 13:14Speaker 2: have these two sides of me that I have to balance,
- 13:17Speaker 2: and so we're learning to balance our energies. And that's really,
- 13:22Speaker 2: you know, what I wrote this new book about, because
- 13:25Speaker 2: everyone has all twelve signs in their birth chart, all
- 13:29Speaker 2: twelve energies that we can tap into. Even if we
- 13:33Speaker 2: don't have a planet in one of the signs or
- 13:36Speaker 2: in one of the houses, we can tap into the
- 13:39Speaker 2: energy of each sign in our birth chart. You know,
- 13:43Speaker 2: if you want to be more Scorpio and you really
- 13:45Speaker 2: read about Scorpio and you're like, I really wish I
- 13:47Speaker 2: could be like that, you can learn to embrace that
- 13:51Speaker 2: energy and learn about harnessing that energy in whatever area
- 13:55Speaker 2: of life that that sign falls on your wheel, on
- 13:58Speaker 2: your birth wheel, and we all have every sign somewhere
- 14:02Speaker 2: on that wheel. And so that's why I kind of
- 14:04Speaker 2: wrote this book to show people that it's all energy
- 14:08Speaker 2: and we can tap into it.
- 14:11Speaker 1: Before we get deeper into the book, there's been a
- 14:13Speaker 1: lot of talk about the moon the last few months.
- 14:16Speaker 1: Anything we should know about how the moon is interfacing
- 14:19Speaker 1: with other heavenly bodies aside from the Sun at this time.
- 14:23Speaker 3: Yes, so the moon. One of the things that the
- 14:27Speaker 3: moon is.
- 14:27Speaker 2: We have we have moon cycles like we you know,
- 14:30Speaker 2: we have new moons, which new moons have to do
- 14:33Speaker 2: with setting intentions of our hopes, wishes and dreams, you know,
- 14:37Speaker 2: what we want to manifest and they you know, we
- 14:40Speaker 2: believe that the moon's energies impact us so much because
- 14:44Speaker 2: you know, the moon affects the tides of the ocean,
- 14:46Speaker 2: so of course it would affect us because we are
- 14:49Speaker 2: made mostly of water right our body. So the new
- 14:52Speaker 2: moon is setting new intentions, visualizings, manifesting, thinking about what
- 14:59Speaker 2: you want. And then the full moon is when we
- 15:03Speaker 2: need to let go of things and feel our emotions
- 15:06Speaker 2: and withdraw and release. And so every month we have
- 15:11Speaker 2: these moon cycles that are affecting us at all times.
- 15:15Speaker 2: And you know with the full moon when I did
- 15:17Speaker 2: crisis intervention work, it was so interesting because the police officers,
- 15:22Speaker 2: you know I was on calls, well, they would tell
- 15:25Speaker 2: me that the busiest time of the month for them
- 15:27Speaker 2: was during the full moon because there was more domestic disturbances.
- 15:31Speaker 2: People fight more, they get a little bit more irritated,
- 15:34Speaker 2: there's more accidents, people are a little bit more impulsive,
- 15:38Speaker 2: and so it's a scientific thing how the moon cycles
- 15:41Speaker 2: and energies affect us. Also, we have what's called eclipses,
- 15:45Speaker 2: and eclipses are powerful, destined, fated energies the astrologers believe
- 15:52Speaker 2: trigger events in our life. So when there's an eclipse,
- 15:55Speaker 2: it's really important to pay attention to what's going on
- 15:58Speaker 2: in your life and knowing your birth chart because it
- 16:01Speaker 2: can show where you'll have a lot of changes coming
- 16:04Speaker 2: in your life. Another powerful thing that the moon placement
- 16:07Speaker 2: in astrology shows is it's connected to what's called the
- 16:11Speaker 2: nodes of the moon, and the node, the north and
- 16:14Speaker 2: south node is what we call it. It looked the
- 16:16Speaker 2: north note looks like a headphone's like horseshoe, and the
- 16:20Speaker 2: south node looks like an upside down headphone. And I
- 16:23Speaker 2: have a book about this too, Astrology's Magical Nodes of
- 16:25Speaker 2: the Moon, but it's about your destiny. So it's a
- 16:29Speaker 2: calculation that has to do with the Moon's orbit and
- 16:33Speaker 2: we call it the nodes, and those nodes are your
- 16:36Speaker 2: soul's mission this lifetime, and it can show your past lifetimes.
- 16:40Speaker 2: And what you've already learned is the South note. The
- 16:43Speaker 2: North note is why your soul came here and what
- 16:46Speaker 2: it came to learn. And this whole calculation is based
- 16:50Speaker 2: on the moon, So that's a whole other part of
- 16:52Speaker 2: the moon in astrology.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Wonderful. I didn't realize that that you could use these
- 16:57Speaker 1: charts and signs to determine your soul's purpose in this lifetime.
- 17:01Speaker 1: I didn't know that absolutely.
- 17:03Speaker 2: I always tell people, you know, the moon, the moon
- 17:06Speaker 2: is so important and the North node and South nodes
- 17:10Speaker 2: of the Moon, and we call them that because they
- 17:13Speaker 2: whatever house it's in, whatever sign it's in, that's where
- 17:17Speaker 2: your soul is needing to go and learn. And we
- 17:21Speaker 2: get there naturally. So by the time we're let's see,
- 17:25Speaker 2: we have a Saturn return and the planet Saturn is
- 17:29Speaker 2: is the planet of karma and destiny and fate and
- 17:32Speaker 2: responsibility and wisdom, and that Saturn return is what triggers
- 17:38Speaker 2: us to get into the node, the North Node, and
- 17:41Speaker 2: that doesn't happen until the first time is at age
- 17:44Speaker 2: twenty seven to thirty, and we start moving towards the
- 17:48Speaker 2: North Node for the first time, and we're like, wow,
- 17:50Speaker 2: we don't this doesn't feel comfortable because we don't know
- 17:53Speaker 2: what this is. And then we start our whole life.
- 17:56Speaker 2: All the events that are going on and the transits
- 17:59Speaker 2: are getting us into that North Node, and then we
- 18:02Speaker 2: have a lot of experiences, and then by the time
- 18:05Speaker 2: we're fifty seven to sixty we have a second sand return.
- 18:09Speaker 2: And by the time people are sixty one, they're doing
- 18:12Speaker 2: the North Node energies, and I talked to them and
- 18:16Speaker 2: they've mastered it. So the universe gets us there naturally,
- 18:20Speaker 2: but if we can learn about the sign the North
- 18:22Speaker 2: nodes in in the house, we can start trying to
- 18:25Speaker 2: get there sooner.
- 18:26Speaker 1: That's interesting. I turned seventy two in January, and one
- 18:29Speaker 1: of the things that I found, especially the last ten
- 18:32Speaker 1: or so years, is I'm more peaceful now than I've
- 18:34Speaker 1: been in my.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Entire life, absolutely, because it's like because you're in your mission.
- 18:40Speaker 2: You know, after that time, everyone's like, yeah, I went
- 18:43Speaker 2: through these things and I'm doing what I'm meant to do,
- 18:45Speaker 2: and you feel it's like a sense of peace and
- 18:48Speaker 2: you feel a sense of accomplishment, like you know, I'm
- 18:52Speaker 2: in I'm doing what I want to do and what
- 18:54Speaker 2: I came to do. And if you look, I have
- 18:56Speaker 2: to look at your chart to see where your node is,
- 18:59Speaker 2: but that node is is kind of where you're going.
- 19:01Speaker 2: And I'm trying to do that now because I'm going
- 19:04Speaker 2: to be fifty and I'm like, you know, I just
- 19:07Speaker 2: changed my entire life this year. I left my job
- 19:11Speaker 2: in the Air Force after twenty five years. I went
- 19:13Speaker 2: ahead and left and decided to do my spiritual work
- 19:17Speaker 2: full time and my North nodes in Scorpio. So I
- 19:20Speaker 2: meant to kind of do deep work and to be
- 19:24Speaker 2: my own boss. So I want to be an entrepreneur
- 19:26Speaker 2: and that's kind of what I'm doing, and I'm supposed
- 19:28Speaker 2: to do it in the third house, which is writing books, teaching, communicating,
- 19:33Speaker 2: coming on these podcasts. So this is what I'm trying
- 19:36Speaker 2: to focus on and so I can really get in
- 19:40Speaker 2: my soul mission and do what I came here to do,
- 19:43Speaker 2: and the more I did that, I have more and
- 19:45Speaker 2: more opportunities that keep coming my way because I'm finally
- 19:49Speaker 2: in the flow of where I'm supposed to be.
- 19:52Speaker 1: That's interesting because one of the things I've never fully
- 19:55Speaker 1: retired from anything in my life, and over the past
- 19:59Speaker 1: cup years, I've been called back to work in the
- 20:01Speaker 1: industry that I spent forty four years in, which is
- 20:04Speaker 1: not a spiritual industry. It's an industrial technology industry. But
- 20:07Speaker 1: I also have expanded my spiritual aspects and the callings
- 20:12Speaker 1: that I've had in terms of working with people during
- 20:14Speaker 1: spiritual coaching, that type of thing, and I think that balance,
- 20:18Speaker 1: the fact that I maintained both of them at this
- 20:20Speaker 1: stage of my life is so rewarding.
- 20:23Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 20:24Speaker 2: I mean it's it's always it's really important to do
- 20:28Speaker 2: what brings you joy and to do what you like,
- 20:32Speaker 2: to do what you're good at, you know, you get
- 20:34Speaker 2: a sense of fulfillment. And I kind of am doing
- 20:39Speaker 2: that as well. I've always had two jobs, you know,
- 20:41Speaker 2: and I like that. I like having my spiritual work
- 20:45Speaker 2: and then I like having my normal social work jobs,
- 20:48Speaker 2: you know, as a contractor. And I'm kind of looking
- 20:50Speaker 2: into that now and maybe being a professor. You know,
- 20:53Speaker 2: I applied for some jobs so I would love to teach.
- 20:56Speaker 2: I know I love to teach, and I know I
- 20:58Speaker 2: love to write, and I realized that's my I knowed
- 21:01Speaker 2: that is why I like that, and I need to
- 21:03Speaker 2: start doing more of that, you know. So it's really
- 21:07Speaker 2: important to know your chart and to have it done
- 21:09Speaker 2: by an astrologer at least once, so you can really
- 21:13Speaker 2: get validated on some things you already know about yourself.
- 21:16Speaker 2: Because an astrologer really we just validate the energy and
- 21:19Speaker 2: validate what you know about yourself. And that's what's powerful
- 21:23Speaker 2: about it. And I'd love to help people with that,
- 21:26Speaker 2: with finding their career path, you know, what work is
- 21:28Speaker 2: good for them, what's going on in affecting their lives
- 21:32Speaker 2: right now. You know a lot of people come to me, why,
- 21:34Speaker 2: you know, why is this happening? I'm having a hard time,
- 21:37Speaker 2: And I'll look and the transits of the planets can
- 21:40Speaker 2: really show what energies are impacting our home and family,
- 21:44Speaker 2: our work, our career, our health. And I just share
- 21:48Speaker 2: those energies and give tips to help people. So it's
- 21:50Speaker 2: really deep therapy is what I do as an astrological counselor.

- 24:01Speaker 1: On Destination Unlimited. My guest this week, Carmen Turner shot
- 24:05Speaker 1: her new book Your Astrological Energy, Maximize the Power of
- 24:11Speaker 1: Your Birth Chart. Carmen, what else do you share in
- 24:14Speaker 1: this book about the relationship between various celestial bodies and energy?
- 24:19Speaker 3: Absolutely so?
- 24:21Speaker 2: In this book, I really wanted to cover everything. So
- 24:26Speaker 2: we have not only the sun, not only the sun
- 24:29Speaker 2: and moon placements, but I talk about, you know, how
- 24:32Speaker 2: to harness each sign's energy, and then I give tips
- 24:37Speaker 2: for how to do that and what each sign needs.
- 24:40Speaker 2: And I also highlight each rising sign for each sign.
- 24:45Speaker 3: I highlight all.
- 24:46Speaker 2: Of the planets in the sign in the house for
- 24:51Speaker 2: each chapter, and so all the planets in Taurus, all
- 24:55Speaker 2: the planets in the second house, which is the house
- 24:57Speaker 2: of Taurus, and so on, and then also talk about
- 25:01Speaker 2: transits through each of the houses. And so those those
- 25:05Speaker 2: transits are so important to know how it's affecting you
- 25:09Speaker 2: in your life. And so you know, I talk about
- 25:12Speaker 2: you know, uh, you know Pluto transit in the second
- 25:14Speaker 2: you know sun Moon. I tell how long that'll be
- 25:17Speaker 2: affecting you. And you can look everything up in my book.
- 25:21Speaker 2: You can you can look up. You're gonna use every
- 25:23Speaker 2: chapter in this book. You're not just going to read
- 25:25Speaker 2: one chapter because I tell you how to get a
- 25:28Speaker 2: free birth will in the in the introduction, and you
- 25:32Speaker 2: you know, you'll have your will and you can start
- 25:34Speaker 2: looking up everything. Oh, I got the sun in the
- 25:36Speaker 2: second house. Let me go to the second chapter, what
- 25:38Speaker 2: does that mean? And and you know Pluto in the
- 25:41Speaker 2: eighth You can look up the Pluto in the eighth
- 25:43Speaker 2: in the eighth chapter. So you'll be using the whole
- 25:46Speaker 2: book to look up and see what I have to
- 25:49Speaker 2: say about all of the different aspects in your chart,
- 25:52Speaker 2: the main ones.
- 25:54Speaker 1: And please show with us a little more about the
- 25:56Speaker 1: specific energy of the sun signs.
- 25:59Speaker 2: Yeah, so Aries is area starts the zodiac and Aries
- 26:05Speaker 2: they're independent, resilient, competitive, passionate, confident, straightforward, adventurous, their warriors,
- 26:13Speaker 2: they're athletic, they're impulsive, they like to take action, they're brave,
- 26:19Speaker 2: and they always say, you know, Aries motto is I
- 26:21Speaker 2: never give up.
- 26:22Speaker 3: Okay, that's their motto.
- 26:24Speaker 2: And then you know Taurus. You know, Areas is fire.
- 26:28Speaker 2: So then we have the second sign Taurus.
- 26:30Speaker 3: They're Earth.
- 26:31Speaker 2: So of course their motto is I need to have
- 26:33Speaker 2: a thought out plan. And their words are determined, patience, stubborn, stable, quiet, calm, peaceful, artistic, attractive, charming, affectionate,
- 26:47Speaker 2: and grounded. And so all the Taurus energy is very earthy,
- 26:52Speaker 2: you know, very grounded. Tauruses rule the senses that you know, sound, site, taste, everything,
- 27:00Speaker 2: They're very sensitive. They like to be out in nature,
- 27:02Speaker 2: and change is difficult for them. Where an Ares loves
- 27:06Speaker 2: to change and likes to you know, shake things up,
- 27:09Speaker 2: a Torus wants to keep things the same and they
- 27:12Speaker 2: don't like sudden change. They like to plan and be
- 27:15Speaker 2: ready for it, right. And so then we have the
- 27:18Speaker 2: third sign, which is Gemini, and Gemini is air. They're
- 27:22Speaker 2: known to be restless, intelligent, talkative. They're the communicators of
- 27:26Speaker 2: the zodiac. They're observed and adaptable. They love to learn,
- 27:31Speaker 2: very you know, indecisive at times. They're friendly, flirtatious, and
- 27:35Speaker 2: their motto is I can be indecisive and need need
- 27:39Speaker 2: to be allowed to change my mind. So they need
- 27:42Speaker 2: to be able to change when they need to. And
- 27:46Speaker 2: they do change their mind a lot. And it's not
- 27:48Speaker 2: that they can't help it, you know, it's part of
- 27:49Speaker 2: who they are. So they just are interested in so
- 27:53Speaker 2: many things. They just want to learn everything about everything.
- 27:57Speaker 2: So they may be reading one book and then another
- 28:00Speaker 2: book catches their eye and they never finish a book,
- 28:02Speaker 2: you know, they move on to the next book. A
- 28:04Speaker 2: lot of them tell me they have like twenty books
- 28:06Speaker 2: they never finished, but they just read bits and pieces
- 28:09Speaker 2: of all of them right, and they're very they're just
- 28:13Speaker 2: very fun and in social people. And then we have cancer.
- 28:18Speaker 2: The foresign cancer is the mother the nurture. They're known
- 28:22Speaker 2: to be psychic, empathic, affectionate, imaginative, romantic, gentle devoted, also
- 28:29Speaker 2: self protective, psychic, reflective homebodies. As a cancer, I care
- 28:34Speaker 2: about my friends and family, you know. There the home
- 28:37Speaker 2: and family is very important to a cancer and even
- 28:40Speaker 2: if if they don't have their own you know, partner
- 28:43Speaker 2: or kids, they often like to work with children in
- 28:46Speaker 2: some way or in the medical field or you know,
- 28:49Speaker 2: counseling field where they can really help people. They're also
- 28:52Speaker 2: good at finance and business. They have that side to
- 28:55Speaker 2: them as well. So cancers people think they're always really
- 29:00Speaker 2: nurturing and kind, which they are, but they're also you know,
- 29:03Speaker 2: world by the moon, so they can go through emotional
- 29:06Speaker 2: highs and lows, and they like to withdraw and have
- 29:10Speaker 2: their alone time. They need their solitude. So that's why
- 29:13Speaker 2: they're known to like to be home and stay home.
- 29:16Speaker 2: They're not always wanting to go out and out to
- 29:20Speaker 2: public places. They like to be home. It's where they
- 29:22Speaker 2: feel most comfortable. And then we have Leo. Leo is
- 29:27Speaker 2: the artist, the the flirt, the leader, the powerful entertainer. Right.
- 29:34Speaker 2: Leo's are confident and dramatic and proud and determined and
- 29:40Speaker 2: very loyal. But they're known to be courageous as well
- 29:43Speaker 2: and friendly and a little bit you know competitive. You know.
- 29:47Speaker 2: They're a fire sign and their motto is I want
- 29:50Speaker 2: to express myself fully. So they need If you look
- 29:53Speaker 2: in the world, you can see famous people. A lot
- 29:56Speaker 2: of people that are artistic or musicians are or actors
- 30:01Speaker 2: or politicians that perform on stage or that are up
- 30:05Speaker 2: in front of big groups of people in.
- 30:06Speaker 3: The public eye.
- 30:08Speaker 2: They often have Leo energy somewhere in their chart, you know,
- 30:11Speaker 2: either sun moon rising or something that gets them out
- 30:14Speaker 2: into the public eye where people know them and they
- 30:17Speaker 2: they're very artistic and they need to express themselves, even
- 30:22Speaker 2: if they don't do it for a living. A lot
- 30:24Speaker 2: of Leos, you know, can have very powerful careers, but
- 30:28Speaker 2: they usually have some kind of an artistic ability that
- 30:31Speaker 2: they might do as a hobby or just as a
- 30:33Speaker 2: side you know, thing that they enjoy. And then we
- 30:36Speaker 2: have Virgo, the sixth sign, which is the analyzer. Virgos
- 30:40Speaker 2: are the worker bee. They're earth. So they're efficient, productive,
- 30:45Speaker 2: detail focus. They can be perfectionistic. They are hardworking, responsible,
- 30:51Speaker 2: super conscientious, reliable, loyal. They also have a hard time
- 30:56Speaker 2: with change, but they love to get things done. They're
- 31:00Speaker 2: the worker bees of the zodiac and they are Their
- 31:04Speaker 2: motto is, I'm a perfectionist at heart who loves to
- 31:06Speaker 2: improve things. So they get a bad rap sometimes virgos
- 31:10Speaker 2: do because they really they just want to. They see
- 31:13Speaker 2: all the little details of things that need fixed. They're
- 31:16Speaker 2: very you know, laser focused, and that just they can't
- 31:18Speaker 2: help it, and and one little thing will stand out
- 31:21Speaker 2: and they want to they want to fix it, and
- 31:23Speaker 2: it's just to make things better. So Virgos are the
- 31:26Speaker 2: sign of service, so practical service. So a lot of
- 31:29Speaker 2: them go into counseling, medical fields, social work, you know,
- 31:33Speaker 2: helping people in some way, you know, very organized, very practical,
- 31:38Speaker 2: down to earth. And then we have Libra. Libra is peaceful, artistic, creative,
- 31:45Speaker 2: very intelligent as well because Libra is air. But Libra
- 31:49Speaker 2: is the peacemaker, you know. They rule the relationship house
- 31:53Speaker 2: and astrology. So Libras are known to like to be
- 31:56Speaker 2: in love and to have a partner, and so their
- 31:59Speaker 2: keyword is I'm a person who likes to be in relationships.
- 32:02Speaker 3: That's their motto.
- 32:03Speaker 2: They like fairness, justice, what you know, doing what's right.
- 32:07Speaker 2: They're very intellectual, but they're also creative and artistic and
- 32:11Speaker 2: have a little bit of a sensitive side to them.
- 32:13Speaker 2: So they have both that they do so they're learning
- 32:16Speaker 2: to balance. They're the scales in the zodiac. They're always
- 32:20Speaker 2: balancing their mind and their emotions and every decision. You know,
- 32:24Speaker 2: they can be a little bit indecisive because they're trying
- 32:26Speaker 2: to get that middle equilibrium. And it's important that they
- 32:31Speaker 2: have peaceful relationships because they don't like conflict, and they
- 32:35Speaker 2: can tend to be people pleaser attimes because they don't
- 32:39Speaker 2: want to upset anyone, to hurt anyone's feelings. And so
- 32:43Speaker 2: Libra they're the sign of relationships and harmony. And then
- 32:46Speaker 2: we have Scorpio. Scorpio is water. They're an very intense sign.
- 32:52Speaker 2: I call them the healer archetype. They're intense, deep, secretive, passionate,
- 32:58Speaker 2: very resilient, a little bit uh, you know, truthful, jealous, loyal, psychic,
- 33:04Speaker 2: very private, very transformative, competitive, self reliant and and intuitive,
- 33:10Speaker 2: very determined people. Uh. Their motto is ion private, secretive
- 33:13Speaker 2: and intense. So Scorpio is is very much a healer.
- 33:18Speaker 2: They often you know, work in business and finance and
- 33:23Speaker 2: other people with other people's money, but they also go
- 33:26Speaker 2: into you know, detective work, research, psychology, you know, astrology,
- 33:33Speaker 2: you know, all these metaphysical topics are very interesting to
- 33:37Speaker 2: a Scorpio because they love to figure out what makes
- 33:40Speaker 2: people the way they are, and they're they're able to
- 33:43Speaker 2: dig deep and they need depth and intimacy in their life.
- 33:47Speaker 2: They're not they're very into depth. They don't like superficiality
- 33:52Speaker 2: and things like that, so they're known to cut people
- 33:55Speaker 2: off if they don't trust them. You know, they're very
- 33:59Speaker 2: self protective. They take them a while to trust people
- 34:02Speaker 2: and to forgive if you hurt them so, but if
- 34:06Speaker 2: they trust you, they're very loyal. And then we have Sagittarius,
- 34:09Speaker 2: which is the traveler, and they are the free spirit, positive, optimistic, hopeful, cheerful, zealous, adventurous,
- 34:17Speaker 2: freedom loving. They love knowledge, they love to learn, very intelligent, outspoken.
- 34:22Speaker 2: Their motto is I want to be able to do
- 34:24Speaker 2: what I want to do at a moment's notice. So
- 34:26Speaker 2: they love to you know, short journeys, long journeys, travel,
- 34:31Speaker 2: they love to explore. They have a very positive energy.
- 34:34Speaker 2: They're the kind of people that see the glasses half full,
- 34:37Speaker 2: not half empty. And they love to feel free. So
- 34:42Speaker 2: commitment can be hard for them at times unless they
- 34:45Speaker 2: have a partner that allows them a lot of independence
- 34:48Speaker 2: because they don't want to feel like they're being controlled.
- 34:50Speaker 2: They like to feel like they can come and go
- 34:52Speaker 2: as they want, and they're you know, go out, get outdoors,
- 34:55Speaker 2: go on a trip with some friends.
- 34:58Speaker 3: They love knowledge.
- 34:59Speaker 2: They're very strong in their beliefs, so they're very straightforward
- 35:03Speaker 2: and honest people because they're fire. So they'll tell you,
- 35:06Speaker 2: you know, what they believe in and what they think
- 35:08Speaker 2: about things, which is people you know, respect that about
- 35:11Speaker 2: Sage's and they can do it in a kind way
- 35:15Speaker 2: where in areas does it in a more forceful, you know,
- 35:18Speaker 2: kind of intense way. Sag just do it in a fun,
- 35:21Speaker 2: loving way, and so people resonate with them. And then
- 35:24Speaker 2: we have Capricorn. Capricorn is the achiever archetype. They're they're responsible, productive,
- 35:31Speaker 2: they're also very hard working. They're earth they roll career,
- 35:34Speaker 2: they roll hard work, they roll fatherly energy success. They
- 35:40Speaker 2: also can be a little they're very patient, why serious,
- 35:43Speaker 2: They can be a little bit overly responsible even in
- 35:48Speaker 2: a young age. The Capricorns tell me that they feel
- 35:50Speaker 2: like they're older than other people, like they feel more mature.
- 35:54Speaker 2: So one of the things I notice, I have a
- 35:55Speaker 2: lot of Capricorns in my life. My dad, my brother,
- 35:58Speaker 2: and my grandfather all Capricorn, my best friend, and they
- 36:01Speaker 2: are super responsible and they really care about doing a
- 36:04Speaker 2: good job at work and helping people, being able to
- 36:08Speaker 2: provide for the people they care about. And their motto
- 36:11Speaker 2: is I feel super responsible from a young.
- 36:13Speaker 3: Age, you know.
- 36:14Speaker 2: That's what Capricorns often tell me in a sense of duty,
- 36:17Speaker 2: that they have to work hard and to be successful
- 36:22Speaker 2: and have their goals. You know, they have a lot
- 36:24Speaker 2: of goals that they want to do. It's hard for
- 36:26Speaker 2: them to retire. They're usually always working or doing something,
- 36:30Speaker 2: you know, even on the side, so they don't ever
- 36:32Speaker 2: really retire, you know. Is what Capricorn's what I've noticed.
- 36:36Speaker 2: And then Aquarius as the rebel. Aquarius's words are freedom, loving, rebellious, independent,
- 36:43Speaker 2: non traditional, friendly, eccentric, unique, creative, intelligent, knowledgeable, open minded,
- 36:49Speaker 2: little bit, restless, curious, humanitarian.
- 36:52Speaker 3: Their motto is I.
- 36:53Speaker 2: Like to be free so they like to feel free.
- 36:56Speaker 2: They like unconventional people. They're drawn to unique, non traditional ideas,
- 37:03Speaker 2: ways of doing things that are innovative. There are a
- 37:07Speaker 2: lot of them, you know, go into humanitarian work, but
- 37:10Speaker 2: they also go into science, technology, computers, right, all these things, astrology,
- 37:17Speaker 2: even mathematics, you know, engineering, you know, all those kind
- 37:21Speaker 2: of fields because they are air and they are very
- 37:24Speaker 2: intelligent people. And then we have the last sign of
- 37:28Speaker 2: the zodiac, which is Pisces. Pisces is the dreamer, They're
- 37:32Speaker 2: the mystic, they're the spiritual one. They are very compassionate
- 37:39Speaker 2: and kind, but they also lack boundaries.
- 37:41Speaker 3: Between themselves and others.
- 37:43Speaker 2: They're mystical, they're spiritual, they're escapists, dreamy, intuitive, they are
- 37:48Speaker 2: very idealistic and romantic and artistic people. So they're they're
- 37:53Speaker 2: very sensitive. So their moutoi is I'm highly sensitive person
- 37:58Speaker 2: and can feel other people's pain. So they really do
- 38:02Speaker 2: have to learn boundaries because they absorb all of the
- 38:05Speaker 2: energies going on in their environment, and they have to
- 38:08Speaker 2: learn to self protect because unlike the other water signs,
- 38:12Speaker 2: I always this is how I teach people about Pisces
- 38:15Speaker 2: is that cancer has the hard crabshell that it can
- 38:19Speaker 2: put up to protect its soft interior. And then Scorpio
- 38:22Speaker 2: has the sting of a scorpion that can kill or
- 38:25Speaker 2: protect itself if it's threatened. But a Pisces or two
- 38:29Speaker 2: fish that are just flapping in the water with no protection.
- 38:33Speaker 2: So they're all water signs, but Pisces is the most
- 38:36Speaker 2: vulnerable because they have to learn to say no, and
- 38:40Speaker 2: they have to learn if someone's not healthy for them,
- 38:44Speaker 2: you know, not to get with unhealthy people or unhealthy habits,
- 38:48Speaker 2: and learning to have boundaries to protect themselves and others.
- 38:52Speaker 2: And they can still be kind, but they have to
- 38:55Speaker 2: learn that sometimes they can't save everyone. They like to
- 38:59Speaker 2: help people and be a rescuer, and sometimes they get
- 39:03Speaker 2: into unhealthy relationships. But they also can be very musical
- 39:09Speaker 2: and artistic and creative. So those are the twelve signs
- 39:12Speaker 2: in a gist real quick of their key words and
- 39:15Speaker 2: their key energies.
- 39:18Speaker 1: And you nailed me with the Capricorn. I mean, for
- 39:21Speaker 1: a good part of my life. I've actually been a
- 39:24Speaker 1: little softened in the last twenty years or so, but
- 39:27Speaker 1: you nailed me. But a funny story, I had a
- 39:29Speaker 1: friend who was a Virgo and she was one hundred
- 39:31Speaker 1: percent virgo. And she literally would walk around with a
- 39:36Speaker 1: dust rag, a duster and a sponge and if anything
- 39:40Speaker 1: was touched out of place or you know, showed any
- 39:42Speaker 1: signs of any kind of being out of what, she
- 39:44Speaker 1: would clean it immediately. She could just just passionately clean everything,
- 39:48Speaker 1: clean everything.
- 39:49Speaker 2: Yes, yes, they Virgos like to clean when they get
- 39:53Speaker 2: stressed too. Yeah, because it's a sense of control, and
- 39:58Speaker 2: they it's a sense of them to have structure an
- 40:01Speaker 2: organization because they are they like to make things. They
- 40:06Speaker 2: can be neat freaks, that's one thing. And they can
- 40:08Speaker 2: be a little bit of hypochondriacs.
- 40:10Speaker 3: You know.
- 40:10Speaker 2: They worry about their health. They worry about gernks.
- 40:14Speaker 3: You know, and dust and all those things.
- 40:16Speaker 1: You know.
- 40:17Speaker 2: They like things clean and in its place. You know,
- 40:20Speaker 2: I'm a virgo. So when I all come through the
- 40:22Speaker 2: house and if a picture's crooked, it drives me crazy.
- 40:25Speaker 3: I have to go fix it.
- 40:26Speaker 2: And it's like these little little bit of obsessive compulsive
- 40:29Speaker 2: trade just a little bit, you know, because it will
- 40:33Speaker 2: bother me. Or if a chair isn't a certain way,
- 40:35Speaker 2: it's like messy, I'm on it, looking you.
- 40:38Speaker 3: Know, organized, you know, So I have a little bit
- 40:41Speaker 3: of that me too.
- 40:42Speaker 1: Absolutely. My guest, Carmen Turner, shot her brand new book

- 43:37Speaker 1: Back on Destination Unlimited My guests this week, Carmen Turner
- 43:42Speaker 1: shot her new book Your Astrological Energy, Maximize the Power
- 43:47Speaker 1: of your Birth Chart. Carmen, are there signs that are
- 43:51Speaker 1: more intuitive than others?
- 43:54Speaker 2: That's a great question. So this is I was thinking
- 43:58Speaker 2: about this recently. So I always say that all twelve
- 44:01Speaker 2: signs have intuition. It just comes in different ways. But
- 44:08Speaker 2: traditionally the water signs or people that have strong water
- 44:13Speaker 2: placements in their chart, they are known, you know, to
- 44:16Speaker 2: be more intuitive because of the water, right, because water
- 44:20Speaker 2: is emotion in nature. Water in the birth chart is
- 44:23Speaker 2: our intuition. You know, it's that moon energy. But you
- 44:27Speaker 2: know because you know, for instance, you're a Capricorn, I'm
- 44:30Speaker 2: a Virgo, but you're a cancer rising, which is water
- 44:34Speaker 2: and it's your chart reelers the moon, so you you know,
- 44:39Speaker 2: sun sign wise, they don't say Capricorns are not always
- 44:42Speaker 2: known as the most intuitive, but cancer is they're the
- 44:47Speaker 2: most intuitive signs. So you have everyone has something in
- 44:50Speaker 2: their birth chart that they can tap into. But traditionally
- 44:55Speaker 2: the I believe you know that the Earth, the earth
- 44:58Speaker 2: and water signs are very intuitive, where the fire signs
- 45:02Speaker 2: are intuitive in a different way. They're more reactive, you know,
- 45:07Speaker 2: they they feel, they think, they act. Where the water signs,
- 45:12Speaker 2: we really absorb it and we dwell on it, right
- 45:15Speaker 2: and and then the earth signs, we you know, water
- 45:19Speaker 2: runs on the Earth, so we also when we connect
- 45:21Speaker 2: with nature, Earth signs can be very intuitive. Air signs
- 45:25Speaker 2: can be very intuitive when they connect with the mind,
- 45:27Speaker 2: you know, with their thoughts. So that's kind of how
- 45:30Speaker 2: I explained it that all twelve signs have have intuition
- 45:34Speaker 2: in a different type of way.
- 45:37Speaker 1: Absolutely, is there a left brain right brain correlation between
- 45:41Speaker 1: the signs.
- 45:45Speaker 2: Well kind of, you know, we we call it, you know, modalities.
- 45:51Speaker 2: And then we even have you know, feminine masculine energy.
- 45:55Speaker 2: Every sign is either feminine or masculine energy or cardinal
- 46:00Speaker 2: fixed or mutable. And so I feel like that kind
- 46:03Speaker 2: of has to do with the right brain left brain.
- 46:05Speaker 2: So if you think of you know, when I was
- 46:07Speaker 2: describing the different traits of each sign, you could kind
- 46:11Speaker 2: of feel if it was right or left brain, you
- 46:14Speaker 2: know what I mean, Like Aquarius would be more left brain,
- 46:19Speaker 2: where Cancer would be more right brain, or Leo would
- 46:23Speaker 2: be more right brain. You know, based on their personality traits,
- 46:26Speaker 2: you could see you know, the artistic creative thing of
- 46:29Speaker 2: Pisces right or Virgo. You know, they could be more
- 46:33Speaker 2: you know, right brain because they overthink. A Gemini, you know,
- 46:37Speaker 2: they're all about thinking and they can overthink as well.
- 46:40Speaker 2: So yes, you can see it play out if a
- 46:43Speaker 2: sign has more of the right brain left brain. Some signs,
- 46:47Speaker 2: you know, some people based on your chart, you can
- 46:49Speaker 2: have a good balance of both. You know, you can
- 46:51Speaker 2: have a good balance of both the right brain left
- 46:54Speaker 2: brain gifts. I've seen that too, where someone's very much
- 46:57Speaker 2: like an engineer, a computer scientists, you know, a hacker,
- 47:02Speaker 2: you know, like really good at math and all these things,
- 47:04Speaker 2: and then they can paint and draw people just like
- 47:06Speaker 2: they look. You know, they have this right brain creativity
- 47:09Speaker 2: as well.
- 47:11Speaker 1: How does astrology show our past lifetimes and soul mission?
- 47:15Speaker 2: Yes, so the biggest thing in astrology is to know
- 47:19Speaker 2: what where you've came from in your past lives and
- 47:22Speaker 2: what you've already learned and what your your past life
- 47:26Speaker 2: you know, and karma is your your you know, ancestral
- 47:30Speaker 2: history as well. Is the South node of the moon.
- 47:34Speaker 2: The South node is where we came from, and it's
- 47:36Speaker 2: what our soul has already mastered. But we're coming this
- 47:40Speaker 2: lifetime to master the North node of the moon, which
- 47:43Speaker 2: looks like a you know, headphones, like a horseshoe, and
- 47:47Speaker 2: whatever sign that's in is the sign we have to
- 47:50Speaker 2: start getting comfortable with. And we're learning to balance the
- 47:54Speaker 2: energies of our past energy and then where our soul
- 47:58Speaker 2: is meant to embrace. And we don't feel comfortable with
- 48:01Speaker 2: the North node energy or area of life.
- 48:04Speaker 3: Because it's unknown to us.
- 48:06Speaker 2: It's it doesn't feel comfortable going in that direction. And
- 48:10Speaker 2: that's why life and Saturn, the plant Saturn trigger events
- 48:16Speaker 2: to get us into the North node naturally. And so yes, absolutely,
- 48:22Speaker 2: and so if you want to know what your soul
- 48:25Speaker 2: chose to learn in your sole mission, you want to
- 48:27Speaker 2: look at what sign is the north node in your
- 48:29Speaker 2: chart in and what house it's in, because that's the
- 48:32Speaker 2: area of life. You're going to express that energy in
- 48:35Speaker 2: and you have to get comfortable with that sign. So
- 48:38Speaker 2: I always tell people, you know, when you get my book,
- 48:41Speaker 2: you're astrological energy.
- 48:43Speaker 3: If you have the north.
- 48:43Speaker 2: Node in Scorpio, you need to read the Scorpio chapter
- 48:47Speaker 2: in depth and get comfortable with that energy. Or if
- 48:51Speaker 2: your north node is Leo, you need to read about
- 48:53Speaker 2: the Leo energy. And then you can only and look
- 48:56Speaker 2: up your South node sign and read about it because
- 48:59Speaker 2: you're likely to resonate with it and you're gonna be
- 49:01Speaker 2: like wow, because it's who you are and your soul.
- 49:04Speaker 3: But we don't.
- 49:05Speaker 2: Really know this, you know, when we're when we when
- 49:07Speaker 2: we're born, we don't start even thinking about our destiny
- 49:11Speaker 2: until after that first Saturn return, after age thirty, we
- 49:15Speaker 2: start having all these changes happen. Are like, why why
- 49:19Speaker 2: did this happen to me?
- 49:20Speaker 3: Wow?
- 49:20Speaker 2: I had a baby, I got married, I changed my job,
- 49:23Speaker 2: you know, all during the sat In return, and all
- 49:25Speaker 2: of that happened to get you awakened so you could
- 49:30Speaker 2: start realizing you're here for a purpose. You know. One
- 49:33Speaker 2: of the most common questions I'm asked when I do
- 49:35Speaker 2: astrology counseling with people is what is my destiny? What
- 49:39Speaker 2: is my soul mission? Everyone asked me that, and I
- 49:43Speaker 2: always look at the nodes and I go into depth
- 49:45Speaker 2: with that for them to help them.
- 49:48Speaker 1: What are some key insights you would like the audience
- 49:50Speaker 1: to know about astrology that they might not know.
- 49:55Speaker 2: So one thing is that astrology is actually how modern
- 50:01Speaker 2: medicine was even created. So every sign has a vulnerable
- 50:07Speaker 2: body area, so you know, it's it's just basic astrology.
- 50:11Speaker 2: And in old medical books, you know, Hippocrates said that
- 50:16Speaker 2: a physician that doesn't have a knowledge of astrology is
- 50:18Speaker 2: not a physician but a fool. And in all medical
- 50:22Speaker 2: books you'll see the body of a person, you know,
- 50:25Speaker 2: and you'll see all of the twelve symbols of the
- 50:28Speaker 2: signs on the body area that they rule. And that
- 50:33Speaker 2: is how medicine was created because the physician started noticing
- 50:37Speaker 2: that certain people, certain sun signs, were getting certain health ailments.
- 50:43Speaker 2: Like aries they rolled the head, face and brain. They're
- 50:47Speaker 2: known to get migraines. Taurus rules the throat, the thyroid,
- 50:52Speaker 2: the neck and shoulders. That's where they hold their tension
- 50:55Speaker 2: and so they that's their vulnerable area when they get stressed.
- 50:59Speaker 2: Virgal rule the digestive system, the stomach, and they're known
- 51:02Speaker 2: to get nauseous and get sick to their stomach, get
- 51:05Speaker 2: ulcers when they over when they get too much stress.
- 51:08Speaker 2: So every every sign has a part of the body
- 51:12Speaker 2: that they rule that that is vulnerable. That's like astrology
- 51:18Speaker 2: one O one. There's a lot more that goes into it,
- 51:20Speaker 2: and it's called medical astrology. You can spend a whole
- 51:23Speaker 2: lifetime studying it just itself. It's very complex, but all
- 51:27Speaker 2: you need to know is the basics. Like if you're
- 51:29Speaker 2: a Leo, Leo rules the heart, Capricorn rolls the knees,
- 51:33Speaker 2: the joints, the skin.
- 51:35Speaker 3: Okay, trying to think.
- 51:38Speaker 2: Sagittarius rules the liver, the the hips, the sciatic nerve.
- 51:44Speaker 2: And my mother's a sage and she has horrible siatic
- 51:46Speaker 2: nerve issues in her back and her leg you know
- 51:49Speaker 2: that shoots down. And my uncle same thing. He's a
- 51:53Speaker 2: Saggy he has the same thing. So you'll see the
- 51:56Speaker 2: different vulnerable areas. You know, I'm a Virgo and I
- 51:59Speaker 2: can say absolutely when I get stressed or worried or
- 52:02Speaker 2: anticipate something or things are hard, it goes straight to
- 52:06Speaker 2: my stomach.
- 52:07Speaker 1: You know what I mean, as a Capricorn, I have
- 52:10Speaker 1: to have my left knee replaced last year.
- 52:14Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 52:15Speaker 2: It is so interesting. My brother, you know, he's a Capricorn.
- 52:18Speaker 2: He was in high school playing basketball his senior year
- 52:21Speaker 2: and tours acl had to have knee surgery and he.
- 52:24Speaker 3: Was so devastated over that.
- 52:26Speaker 2: And so and then I have a friend, my best friend,
- 52:29Speaker 2: she's got two knee issues. Her knees and her joints
- 52:32Speaker 2: hurt real bad. And also, like shingles, unexpected skin stuff.
- 52:36Speaker 2: A lot of Capricorns get that as well, because it's
- 52:40Speaker 2: just you know, it's this their vulnerable area.
- 52:42Speaker 3: You know, it's interesting.
- 52:45Speaker 1: Yeah, what would you like readers to take away from
- 52:47Speaker 1: your astrological energy?
- 52:50Speaker 2: Oh, I would love for them just to to grab
- 52:53Speaker 2: my books so they can learn more about themselves than others.
- 52:56Speaker 2: You know, I wrote this book in a very simple
- 52:59Speaker 2: way so anyone can read it and understand it. You know,
- 53:02Speaker 2: you don't have to be an astrologer to read my book.
- 53:05Speaker 2: And I want I want people to get to know
- 53:07Speaker 2: themselves better and others better, because that just helps the world.
- 53:12Speaker 2: It helps us when we get along with people and
- 53:14Speaker 2: we realize, okay, we're not a victim. They're not, you know,
- 53:17Speaker 2: doing this because they don't like me. This is their personality,
- 53:21Speaker 2: so it helped. Astrology can help you adapt and understand
- 53:26Speaker 2: what makes other people act the way they do. And
- 53:29Speaker 2: when you start realizing that, you'll you'll be able to
- 53:31Speaker 2: even pick up people's signs. You know, people tell me
- 53:35Speaker 2: I can guess people's signs now that they learned astrology
- 53:38Speaker 2: for me, or you know, went to my classes. Because
- 53:41Speaker 2: it's all energy, you know, you can feel if someone
- 53:44Speaker 2: is really intense and fiery, you know when they walk
- 53:47Speaker 2: in the room, or if they're peaceful and emotional or
- 53:51Speaker 2: calm and ground it right, you can feel the elements,
- 53:54Speaker 2: the four elements fire, air, earth, and water in someone's
- 53:58Speaker 2: energy field, right, and that's their chart. That's how we
- 54:02Speaker 2: express ourselves. So I want people to learn the basics
- 54:06Speaker 2: and realize that astrology is a powerful tool of self awareness.
- 54:10Speaker 2: And I believe that astrology can be used to help
- 54:13Speaker 2: us heal, transform and become more resilient, and that is key.
- 54:17Speaker 3: So it's really a psychological.
- 54:19Speaker 2: Tool that I am passionate about. So I would love
- 54:22Speaker 2: people to get it, to read it and understand it
- 54:25Speaker 2: and get to know it better.
- 54:27Speaker 1: And when you grab her book, do it with two
- 54:30Speaker 1: hands because it's huge.
- 54:31Speaker 2: It's good, just one.
- 54:33Speaker 9: I know.
- 54:33Speaker 2: I'm like, wow that I actually wrote that. Well, I
- 54:36Speaker 2: know it was thick, but I didn't know it's it'd
- 54:38Speaker 2: be that big.
- 54:40Speaker 1: My guest, Carmen Turner shot her new book, Your Astrological
