- 0:13Speaker 1: Hello you guys, Welcome back to another episode of the
- 0:16Speaker 1: Hawkerel Energy Podcast. I'm your host, Kayleie, and this is
- 0:19Speaker 1: your weekly reminder that.
- 0:20Speaker 2: It's a new day, a new week, a new.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Mindset, and another day for you to become the Hawkgrel
- 0:25Speaker 1: energy you want to attract. Hello you guys, Happy Wednesday,
- 0:30Speaker 1: and welcome back to another episode. I apologize in advance
- 0:34Speaker 1: for not having an episode up last week. I thought
- 0:37Speaker 1: we were going to have the time to record an episode.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Tren and I when I was in Vancouver visiting her
- 0:43Speaker 1: just for the day, to be honest, right before we
- 0:45Speaker 1: left for our brand trip, and the time just slipped
- 0:49Speaker 1: away and we were so focused on just yeah, prepping
- 0:53Speaker 1: for the trip, which I kind of want to get into.
- 0:55Speaker 1: I'm going to do a little bit of a trip
- 0:56Speaker 1: recap here just of what happened these past few days
- 1:00Speaker 1: and talk about some winter ugly tips, because let's face it,
- 1:04Speaker 1: we're in the deep part of January. It's still January
- 1:08Speaker 1: feels like the longest month ever. It always does, and
- 1:11Speaker 1: I always just find this is the time of year
- 1:13Speaker 1: where I personally feel just like not confident in myself
- 1:17Speaker 1: and I just like need things to just like do
- 1:20Speaker 1: a little glow up, you know what I mean, Like
- 1:22Speaker 1: just little things that make me feel better and more confident.
- 1:25Speaker 1: And I'm always, always, always in the winter uglies around
- 1:28Speaker 1: the time of the year, so I'm sure a lot.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Of people can relate.
- 1:31Speaker 1: So I thought I would share some tips on what
- 1:33Speaker 1: you can do just to kind of boost your confidence,
- 1:35Speaker 1: make yourself feel good, look good, all that. So we're
- 1:38Speaker 1: going to get into that as well. But anyways, as
- 1:40Speaker 1: most of you guys know, I mentioned it on the
- 1:42Speaker 1: last episode, but I went on a brand trip with
- 1:45Speaker 1: the brand guests. We were in Whistler, Canada, which was
- 1:49Speaker 1: so insane.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Guys.
- 1:51Speaker 1: I've actually been to Whistler a handful of times, but
- 1:53Speaker 1: every single time I've gone, it's been in the summer,
- 1:56Speaker 1: not the winter, where Whistler is literally known for their
- 1:59Speaker 1: winter season there with all the skiing and the mountains
- 2:03Speaker 1: all that. So I was very excited to go on
- 2:06Speaker 1: my first brand trip of the year. Great start to
- 2:08Speaker 1: the year, and of course the brand sends me an
- 2:12Speaker 1: email and my manager tells me that Trinity was also
- 2:16Speaker 1: invited on the brand trip, which could have not been
- 2:19Speaker 1: more perfect, because, as you guys know, I'm sure some
- 2:21Speaker 1: of you actually listened to Trinity's podcast, The Wellness Cafe.
- 2:24Speaker 1: But we are very close and I actually planned to
- 2:26Speaker 1: go see her this month anyway, just because I haven't
- 2:29Speaker 1: seen her in six months, so we were due for
- 2:32Speaker 1: a little long distance bestie catchup trip. So I was
- 2:36Speaker 1: going to go see her, and then we got this
- 2:38Speaker 1: opportunity of this brand trip, and I'm like, oh my goodness,
- 2:40Speaker 1: like as if I was going to come see you,
- 2:42Speaker 1: and then this happened. So I asked the brand if
- 2:45Speaker 1: I could go a day early so I could stay
- 2:47Speaker 1: with Trent and just kind of catch up with her
- 2:48Speaker 1: plan everything for the trip that we had in Whistler
- 2:52Speaker 1: all that. So I was able to fly out a
- 2:53Speaker 1: day early and I spent the entire day with her
- 2:56Speaker 1: in Van. She was just kind of showing me her
- 2:58Speaker 1: favorite spots lately, and I have actually been to a
- 3:00Speaker 1: lot of her go to spots because I traveled to
- 3:02Speaker 1: go see her a lot. But there were some new
- 3:05Speaker 1: things that she introduced to me that was good. And
- 3:08Speaker 1: then we came into a bit of a situation where
- 3:11Speaker 1: our outfits for the trip were all by guests. So
- 3:14Speaker 1: usually when you go on a brand trip, sometimes with
- 3:17Speaker 1: a lot of clothing brands. Obviously they want you to
- 3:19Speaker 1: wear their clothes for obvious reasons because you're promoting the brand.
- 3:22Speaker 1: And all of the outfits that we selected for the
- 3:25Speaker 1: trip didn't come in on time, which was very stressful
- 3:28Speaker 1: because guys, I packed basically an empty suitcase, like I
- 3:32Speaker 1: packed nothing but like my moon boots, a pair of jeans,
- 3:37Speaker 1: you know, a black turtleneck, and like just kind of
- 3:39Speaker 1: like thermal long sleeves and pants since it was a
- 3:43Speaker 1: winter trip, so I figured, okay, for warmth purposes, I
- 3:45Speaker 1: should probably have this stuff again, hats, mits, accessories.
- 3:49Speaker 2: I think I brought maybe two.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Bikinis, just like very minimal things, like no dinner outfits, nothing,
- 3:55Speaker 1: because I assumed that I was getting these outfits to
- 3:58Speaker 1: wear on the trip. So they tell us that it's
- 3:59Speaker 1: not going to be in on time, and we're immediately stressing.
- 4:02Speaker 2: We're like, uh, okay, so what are we gonna do?
- 4:05Speaker 1: And they said, you need to go to the closest
- 4:07Speaker 1: guest store in Vancouver and go pick out outfits there.
- 4:11Speaker 1: So we're like, okay, that's not an issue. We find
- 4:14Speaker 1: out that the closest guest store to downtown Vancouver is
- 4:17Speaker 1: two hours away so it was basically a four hour
- 4:21Speaker 1: trip out of our night. It was the night before
- 4:24Speaker 1: we left on the trip, and it just was like
- 4:26Speaker 1: a little chaotic, not gonna lie like it's kind of
- 4:28Speaker 1: stressful obviously, not knowing what you're wearing now for a
- 4:31Speaker 1: trip that you've been planning for like the past month.
- 4:33Speaker 1: So anyways, we eventually get to the guest store and
- 4:36Speaker 1: Trin and I had like I'm talking like thirty pieces
- 4:38Speaker 1: each in this change room, trying on different things, what
- 4:41Speaker 1: looked good, what didn't look good, trading things to see
- 4:44Speaker 1: if you know, it looks better on trend versus me whatever,
- 4:47Speaker 1: And eventually we did find some outfits, but all in all,
- 4:49Speaker 1: it's just stressful knowing that I had no clothes and
- 4:53Speaker 1: I was heavily relying on the stuff that we had
- 4:55Speaker 1: to pick. All in all, the outfits ended up turning
- 4:57Speaker 1: out really good, but it just in the moment, it
- 4:59Speaker 1: was very stressful. And then the next day they picked
- 5:02Speaker 1: us up. We headed to Whistler with two other girls
- 5:05Speaker 1: who are from LA that were so sweet and it's
- 5:09Speaker 1: just so funny because obviously I feel like a lot
- 5:12Speaker 1: of LA girls have never been around snow.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Some have, some haven't. It just depends.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Anyways, the two girls that we were with, they've only
- 5:18Speaker 1: seen snow twice, so they're not used to the cold obviously.
- 5:22Speaker 1: So it's just like super funny because obviously if you're
- 5:25Speaker 1: from Ontario like me, or from Canada, then you guys
- 5:27Speaker 1: know the snow and the cold and our bodies have
- 5:31Speaker 1: just honestly adapted to this temperature, which is so crazy.
- 5:33Speaker 1: But it's just so funny to me when I see
- 5:35Speaker 1: people that aren't used to this weather. So that and
- 5:39Speaker 1: then we got there and we stayed at the Four
- 5:41Speaker 1: Seasons Whistler, which is such a gorgeous resort. If you
- 5:45Speaker 1: ever plan a trip to Whistler, I highly recommend that hotel.
- 5:48Speaker 1: It's conveniently located beside all the mountains, close to the
- 5:52Speaker 1: Whistler village all that. It's super super cute and just
- 5:55Speaker 1: absolute gorgeous aesthetics obviously. So we got there and the
- 5:59Speaker 1: room was all out of course, which was so nice,
- 6:01Speaker 1: And we had our first dinner where we met a
- 6:03Speaker 1: lot of other influencers and there was a lot of
- 6:06Speaker 1: girls from Chicago that were so so sweet. I got
- 6:09Speaker 1: along really well with one girl named Kate. Oh my god,
- 6:12Speaker 1: she's literally the sweetest. I actually missed her. Just like,
- 6:14Speaker 1: bonding with people and like having an immediate connection is
- 6:17Speaker 1: literally the best feeling. I'm sure like you guys can
- 6:19Speaker 1: relate to that when you meet someone either at a
- 6:21Speaker 1: party or at a work event or just someone that
- 6:23Speaker 1: you work with whatever. Like I feel like when you
- 6:25Speaker 1: bond with someone immediately, it's like, did we just.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Become best friends? Like I don't know.
- 6:29Speaker 1: That was our immediate interaction and we just had the
- 6:32Speaker 1: best time on the trip together. And yeah, she was
- 6:35Speaker 1: just the sweetest person. And we met a lot of
- 6:37Speaker 1: New York influencers LA influencers all that there was about
- 6:41Speaker 1: twelve of us, I believe, which is actually pretty small
- 6:43Speaker 1: for a brand trip. I usually feel like there's a
- 6:45Speaker 1: lot more people and it's hard to meet everyone. But
- 6:48Speaker 1: because we were a smaller group, it was really nice
- 6:50Speaker 1: to connect with everybody and get to know everyone a
- 6:52Speaker 1: little bit.
- 6:53Speaker 2: And a lot of the people I actually already followed.
- 6:55Speaker 1: So it was just kind of funny to obviously meet
- 6:57Speaker 1: them in real life and connect with them. And everyone
- 7:00Speaker 1: was super sweet and so nice, and it was yeah,
- 7:03Speaker 1: just like really refreshing to meet new people in the
- 7:05Speaker 1: same industry, So.
- 7:06Speaker 2: That was great.
- 7:07Speaker 1: So the first day we went up to the mountain,
- 7:11Speaker 1: it was a fur day, so we had to wear
- 7:13Speaker 1: like our fur coats with our cute little outfits, and guys,
- 7:18Speaker 1: we had to wake up at seven thirty every single
- 7:20Speaker 1: morning because the shuttle picked us up at eight thirty
- 7:23Speaker 1: to bring us to the events, and Trend was so sick.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Guys like, she woke up and she immediately was like, no,
- 7:31Speaker 1: I am not feeling good. I wasn't feeling one hundred
- 7:33Speaker 1: percent either, But I was wondering I wasn't feeling well,
- 7:36Speaker 1: Maybe because of the altitude because I'm from Ottawa and
- 7:39Speaker 1: Vancouver and being in Whistler, obviously we're up in the mountains.
- 7:42Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 7:43Speaker 1: I wasn't sure if maybe that's why I went my
- 7:45Speaker 1: stomach was hurting, or because of what we ate the
- 7:47Speaker 1: night before, which there was a seafood tower, and usually
- 7:50Speaker 1: I'm not a huge seafood girl, especially just because I
- 7:53Speaker 1: feel like my stomach kind of reacts to certain things
- 7:55Speaker 1: differently sometimes.
- 7:57Speaker 2: So I ended up having a piece of shrind. That's it.
- 8:00Speaker 1: I didn't have much from the seafood tower, but Trent
- 8:04Speaker 1: dabbled into it a lot, So we're thinking she probably
- 8:07Speaker 1: ate something bad, because guys, she was so sick, like
- 8:11Speaker 1: I'm talking like body aches, sweating, like you name it.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Like she just was not doing good. And so she
- 8:18Speaker 1: ended up having to go back to the hotel room
- 8:20Speaker 1: because she was so sick. So I went back with
- 8:22Speaker 1: her because I wasn't feeling one hundred percent and I
- 8:24Speaker 1: just kind of felt bad. I didn't want her to
- 8:26Speaker 1: have to go down all the way from the mountain
- 8:28Speaker 1: and whistler back down to the hotel, like just through
- 8:31Speaker 1: the gondola. So I'm like, you know what, I'll come
- 8:33Speaker 1: with you and we'll chill in the hotel room. We
- 8:35Speaker 1: weren't missing much, honestly, it was just like a photo
- 8:37Speaker 1: shoot in the mountains. So I went down with her
- 8:39Speaker 1: to the hotel room. She slept, was feeling a bit better,
- 8:42Speaker 1: so then we decided to go to the dinner, which
- 8:44Speaker 1: was in this cabin in the mountains.
- 8:46Speaker 2: I started to feel better, so I was like, it must.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Have just been from I don't even know again, just
- 8:51Speaker 1: an upset stomach, and I ended up feeling a bit better. Tren,
- 8:54Speaker 1: on the other hand, was still extremely sick. So I
- 8:58Speaker 1: said to her, I'm like if you're feeling this way,
- 9:00Speaker 1: like you really shouldn't get on the helicopter ride, because
- 9:02Speaker 1: obviously going on a helicopter is quite an interesting experience,
- 9:06Speaker 1: at least what I assumed at the time. I've never
- 9:08Speaker 1: been on a helicopter, but I'm like a small plane
- 9:11Speaker 1: thinking about how much movement there is. I can't imagine
- 9:13Speaker 1: how much movement there is on a helicopter. So I'm like,
- 9:15Speaker 1: you're gonna get like serious motion sickness if you're on that,
- 9:19Speaker 1: and she's like, no, that's so true.
- 9:21Speaker 2: So we went to bed.
- 9:22Speaker 1: That night after our dinner and she woke up and
- 9:24Speaker 1: she's like, yeah, not going on that helicopter ride. I
- 9:26Speaker 1: don't feel good, which literally broke my heart, just because
- 9:29Speaker 1: we were looking forward to this trip so much and
- 9:32Speaker 1: it just was such shitty timing for her to not
- 9:34Speaker 1: be able to attend the event and all that. But anyways,
- 9:38Speaker 1: she honestly was a champ through it all, like she
- 9:41Speaker 1: tried so hard to attend everything, but like there was
- 9:44Speaker 1: only so much she could do, and she was glowing
- 9:46Speaker 1: at the same time, like you would have no idea
- 9:48Speaker 1: that this girl was sick, Like she literally looked like
- 9:50Speaker 1: she got off the red carpet. It was honestly like
- 9:53Speaker 1: crazy to know that she was so so sick. So anyways,
- 9:56Speaker 1: the next day was the helicopter ride, and if you
- 9:58Speaker 1: guys listened to my last episode, I talked about how
- 10:00Speaker 1: I wasn't sure if I was going to do it
- 10:02Speaker 1: or not because it was something that was very out
- 10:04Speaker 1: of my comfort zone. I'm not afraid of heights, I'm
- 10:06Speaker 1: not afraid of flying, like, I'm very much like into
- 10:09Speaker 1: really anything. I don't have a huge fear of doing
- 10:12Speaker 1: those kinds of things like bungee jumping whatever, like, I
- 10:15Speaker 1: don't really have a fear for that. But for some reason,
- 10:17Speaker 1: because it was something that was new and something that
- 10:20Speaker 1: I've never done before, I was a little like anxious
- 10:24Speaker 1: and stressed about it and wasn't sure if I was actually.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Gonna pull through and do it.
- 10:28Speaker 1: But I don't know, there was something in my gut
- 10:30Speaker 1: that was like, You're never gonna have this opportunity again,
- 10:32Speaker 1: because you would think obviously paying for a helicopter ride.
- 10:36Speaker 2: Would be quite expensive.
- 10:37Speaker 1: So I'm like, you know what, I don't know if
- 10:39Speaker 1: we'll ever have this opportunity again. So I'm just gonna,
- 10:43Speaker 1: you know, shut my eyes and just do it and
- 10:44Speaker 1: just you know, hope that it's the most amazing experience.
- 10:48Speaker 1: And when we got up in that helicopter and I
- 10:51Speaker 1: was literally just looking at all the snowy mountains in Whistler,
- 10:55Speaker 1: like right there, I was just like, this is one
- 10:57Speaker 1: of the best days of my life, hands down, like
- 10:59Speaker 1: one one of the best experiences I've ever done in
- 11:02Speaker 1: my life. I almost started to cry, honestly because it
- 11:05Speaker 1: was just so beautiful. And I don't even know, I
- 11:09Speaker 1: can't even explain the experience that I experienced. Like on
- 11:14Speaker 1: the helicopter, it just everything seemed so magical. It almost
- 11:18Speaker 1: seemed fake. It just didn't seem real that we were
- 11:21Speaker 1: seeing those things up in the sky and just being
- 11:24Speaker 1: so close, like you literally felt like you were going
- 11:26Speaker 1: to touch the tip of the mountain because a helicopter
- 11:28Speaker 1: would fly so low, and of course eventually they had
- 11:31Speaker 1: a little fun with it and like we're you know,
- 11:33Speaker 1: spinning around in the sky and anyways, it just was
- 11:36Speaker 1: the most insane experience. And then we landed on top
- 11:40Speaker 1: of a mountain in Whistler, which like what on top
- 11:43Speaker 1: of a mountain? Like it literally felt like we were
- 11:45Speaker 1: on a different planet, Like it felt like we were
- 11:46Speaker 1: in space or something like.
- 11:48Speaker 2: It just was the most unreal experience.
- 11:52Speaker 1: And I went in thinking I was going to freeze
- 11:54Speaker 1: my friggin butt off on the top of the mountain
- 11:56Speaker 1: just because we're so high up. We're literally in a mountain,
- 12:00Speaker 1: and it was not that cold at all, Like Ottawa
- 12:03Speaker 1: is colder than what I felt on top of that mountain,
- 12:05Speaker 1: which is crazy to say. I literally was like, this
- 12:08Speaker 1: is insane that my city that I live in is
- 12:11Speaker 1: colder to walk the dog outside than it is on
- 12:13Speaker 1: this mountain, which is so crazy. And then we had
- 12:15Speaker 1: our final dinner altogether at this like wine cellar, which
- 12:19Speaker 1: Trend was able to make it to, which thank god,
- 12:21Speaker 1: I was so happy she was able to make it
- 12:23Speaker 1: to something because she wasn't feeling well all trip, but
- 12:26Speaker 1: she was able to make it through that. And we
- 12:28Speaker 1: also got like massages, we had a spa day all
- 12:30Speaker 1: at Like the brand really went full out for this
- 12:32Speaker 1: trip and it was a trip of a lifetime. Like
- 12:35Speaker 1: I'm very grateful that I was able to meet a
- 12:37Speaker 1: lot of new people have that trip with guests, and
- 12:40Speaker 1: it was just a.
- 12:41Speaker 2: Great way to start the new year off.
- 12:43Speaker 1: And I'm very grateful for my job and the opportunities
- 12:46Speaker 1: that I was able.
- 12:46Speaker 2: To, yeah, just be on the trip.
- 12:49Speaker 1: So that was kind of a little recap of what
- 12:52Speaker 1: happened last week and why I wasn't able to post
- 12:54Speaker 1: an episode. So if you don't follow me on Instagram
- 12:56Speaker 1: or TikTok, definitely make sure to do so. I'm also
- 12:58Speaker 1: going to post a log from the trip. I've logged
- 13:00Speaker 1: the entire thing because my YouTube girlies wanted to see it,
- 13:04Speaker 1: so I made sure to lock the entire experience. So
- 13:07Speaker 1: now let's talk about getting out of the winter uglies,
- 13:10Speaker 1: because I am feeling it so hard right now, and
- 13:13Speaker 1: I think it's just because we're in the middle of January.
- 13:16Speaker 1: You know, it's very normal to feel this way. I
- 13:18Speaker 1: feel like a lot of people can relate in the
- 13:20Speaker 1: colder weather and people who aren't near.
- 13:22Speaker 2: The sun don't have a tan.
- 13:24Speaker 1: You know, it's very gloomy here in the winter usually,
- 13:27Speaker 1: so sometimes our confidence is just not always at its
- 13:30Speaker 1: prime like it is in the summer. So I thought
- 13:32Speaker 1: we could chat about some tips on how to have
- 13:34Speaker 1: a little glow up and just how to feel your
- 13:37Speaker 1: absolute best self. Now, as most of you know, I'm
- 13:39Speaker 1: actually going down South on Wednesday, So I'm actually going
- 13:42Speaker 1: on another trip, which I'm very grateful for. But I'm
- 13:45Speaker 1: very excited because I'm going to be going to the sunshine,
- 13:48Speaker 1: which I think will definitely help a bit of the
- 13:50Speaker 1: winter uglies. For me personally, is just being on a beach,
- 13:53Speaker 1: being in front of the sun, getting a tan.
- 13:55Speaker 2: It's definitely gonna help boost my confidence.
- 13:57Speaker 1: But I wanted to talk about some things that you
- 13:59Speaker 1: can do from home home to really just boost your
- 14:02Speaker 1: overall mood. So one thing's for sure is self tanner
- 14:06Speaker 1: or spray tans or anything like that. Let's be honest here.
- 14:10Speaker 1: You feel better with a tan. Any girl does. It's
- 14:13Speaker 1: the definition of a confidence booster. I feel better with
- 14:17Speaker 1: a tan, period. There's nothing to even explain on that.
- 14:20Speaker 1: But one thing that I've been doing recently that I
- 14:22Speaker 1: feel like has definitely helped boost my confidence as well
- 14:25Speaker 1: is facial tanners. I've actually been using the technique that
- 14:28Speaker 1: I saw on TikTok, which is the contour self tanner
- 14:32Speaker 1: trick where you take a makeup brush and your self
- 14:34Speaker 1: tanner that you would use all over your body, and
- 14:37Speaker 1: essentially you just contour the areas of your face that
- 14:39Speaker 1: you would contour with makeup, so you know your cheekbones,
- 14:42Speaker 1: your jawline, a bit on your forehead if you want
- 14:45Speaker 1: to do a little bit on your nose and eyelids,
- 14:47Speaker 1: all those areas that you would use to contour your
- 14:50Speaker 1: face with a contour stick, you would use your self
- 14:52Speaker 1: tanner for So I did that for the first time
- 14:54Speaker 1: before I left for my trip, and guys, it worked
- 14:58Speaker 1: so well. I didn't break out, which was nice. I
- 15:01Speaker 1: was a little concerned about that, but it definitely did
- 15:03Speaker 1: not break out, and it stayed on my face for
- 15:06Speaker 1: maybe only three days. I think you have to be
- 15:07Speaker 1: pretty consistent with it if you wanted to stay just
- 15:10Speaker 1: because with you taking off your makeup, you know, using
- 15:13Speaker 1: skincare products all that, it's just going to fade faster
- 15:16Speaker 1: compared to your body. So that was just like the
- 15:19Speaker 1: one con But if you keep up with it, like
- 15:21Speaker 1: every three days, it really does make your face look
- 15:24Speaker 1: so snatched. I was really really shocked. The brand that
- 15:27Speaker 1: I use is Jerkins. It's just the Jerkins Express self tanner.
- 15:32Speaker 1: The color is so natural, which is what I love.
- 15:35Speaker 1: It's not like overly orange, it's not overly dark, and
- 15:38Speaker 1: the tan lasts me. I think like my full body
- 15:41Speaker 1: like four to five days, which I feel like is
- 15:43Speaker 1: pretty good, and then usually by like a week, I'll
- 15:46Speaker 1: exfoliate and just scrub off the tan and reset and
- 15:50Speaker 1: redo it. So I've been trying to make that a
- 15:51Speaker 1: priority for every Sunday. Again, just with being in the
- 15:55Speaker 1: winter season, I feel like when I have a tan,
- 15:57Speaker 1: I feel better and I feel more confident in myself,
- 16:00Speaker 1: and I just, yeah, I feel like every girl needs
- 16:03Speaker 1: a tan. Another thing I love to do is keep
- 16:05Speaker 1: up with my skincare routines, especially because going into the
- 16:08Speaker 1: winter season, I feel like everyone's skin is a little
- 16:11Speaker 1: bit more dry and not moist so keeping up with
- 16:15Speaker 1: a good skincare routine is essential. So things that are
- 16:19Speaker 1: like my non negotiables and my skincare routine, A big
- 16:22Speaker 1: one is a thick moisturizer or honestly, right now, I've
- 16:25Speaker 1: actually been using vasaline, which if you have acni prone skin,
- 16:29Speaker 1: I don't recommend vacaline obviously, do your own research.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Don't trust me because I'm not a dermatologist or a.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Skincare doctor or anything, but based on my research, vacaline
- 16:39Speaker 1: is actually one of the top moisturizer slash skin barriers
- 16:43Speaker 1: for people who have really, really really dry skin. And guys,
- 16:46Speaker 1: when I tell you I have dry skin, I have
- 16:48Speaker 1: dry skin. If you guys watch my most recent YouTube video,
- 16:51Speaker 1: then you guys know that I had a bit of
- 16:52Speaker 1: an experience with my face just with the overly dry skin.
- 16:56Speaker 1: I actually found out that basically what happened was that
- 16:59Speaker 1: I was noticing like dry patches of skin on my
- 17:01Speaker 1: cheeks just from hot showers or dry skin from the winter.
- 17:06Speaker 1: And what I decided to do was I decided to
- 17:08Speaker 1: exfoliate my skin with a like oil cleanser, and as
- 17:12Speaker 1: I was doing that, I was trying to rub off
- 17:14Speaker 1: you know, like dead skin that you would rub off.
- 17:16Speaker 1: I was trying to rub that off my face, and
- 17:18Speaker 1: it basically caused a like not like a reaction, but
- 17:22Speaker 1: I think it was just like raw skin coming through
- 17:24Speaker 1: and my entire face was red and covered in hives.
- 17:28Speaker 1: And I was so concerned because I'm like, oh my God,
- 17:31Speaker 1: like did I just damage my skin?
- 17:32Speaker 2: Like this is this going to be permanent?
- 17:35Speaker 1: And I started to do some research and they were like,
- 17:37Speaker 1: if you have overly dry skin and you basically you know,
- 17:40Speaker 1: peeled off the dead skin, it recommended to put ali
- 17:43Speaker 1: Vera just to reduce the redness, and then vacoline on
- 17:47Speaker 1: very dry.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Skin as basically it would help and heal any of
- 17:52Speaker 2: the dryness.
- 17:52Speaker 1: So I've been using bacoline and let me tell you,
- 17:56Speaker 1: my skin has completely changed. My cheeks are a thousand
- 17:59Speaker 1: times better. So again, don't use it though if you
- 18:03Speaker 1: have acne prom skin. I've never had acne, so I
- 18:06Speaker 1: was able to use the product. But don't use it
- 18:08Speaker 1: just because it says it's not the best for acne
- 18:10Speaker 1: prome skin. But I also hear the I think it's
- 18:13Speaker 1: the barrier butter from Road I believe is really good.
- 18:17Speaker 1: It's just a really thick, thick moisturizer, so that's like
- 18:21Speaker 1: the key thing I think for a skin carotene in
- 18:22Speaker 1: the winter season. And also just to make sure that
- 18:25Speaker 1: you're consistent with your sun's screen, your I cream.
- 18:29Speaker 2: Any oils.
- 18:30Speaker 1: A lip bomb, you guys know, my go to lip
- 18:32Speaker 1: bomb is usually the Summer Friday's one. I just find
- 18:34Speaker 1: the Summer Friday's one is the best because I find
- 18:36Speaker 1: it keeps my lips moist and it doesn't feel sticky.
- 18:39Speaker 1: It just feels like an oil almost whereas like, don't
- 18:41Speaker 1: get me wrong. I love the brand Road, but I
- 18:44Speaker 1: just don't find their lip plumpers that good, Like I
- 18:46Speaker 1: have to be honest, I find it it's like very
- 18:49Speaker 1: sticky on my lips and it's almost like bumpy, which
- 18:52Speaker 1: I've actually seen a lot of people talk about that
- 18:54Speaker 1: and they said that you have to put it in
- 18:56Speaker 1: like boiling hot water to basically separate the product and
- 19:00Speaker 1: for it to not be bumpy and sticky, which doesn't
- 19:04Speaker 1: make any sense to me, because like, if you're paying
- 19:06Speaker 1: that much for a product, then you have to like
- 19:08Speaker 1: ever so often put it in hot water. It's kind
- 19:10Speaker 1: of like, what's the point I'm paying all that money
- 19:12Speaker 1: on a lip bom If you have to do that,
- 19:13Speaker 1: I don't know. That's just my hot take on that.
- 19:16Speaker 1: I love every other product by Road. I love their milk,
- 19:19Speaker 1: lazing milk, all that, and some of their tints for
- 19:22Speaker 1: going out for their lip products are good.
- 19:24Speaker 2: It's just like not a good everyday lip bomb in
- 19:27Speaker 2: my opinion.
- 19:27Speaker 1: So if you need a good every day lip bomb,
- 19:30Speaker 1: I highly recommend the summer Fridays. I personally love the
- 19:33Speaker 1: mint flavor or the vanilla one. It's just like the
- 19:36Speaker 1: ones I use every single day as part of my
- 19:38Speaker 1: skin care routine and I.
- 19:39Speaker 2: Just love it so much.
- 19:40Speaker 1: Another thing to do to get yourself out of the
- 19:42Speaker 1: winter uglies is create a workout schedule. If you do
- 19:46Speaker 1: not have a workout schedule, what are you doing? You
- 19:48Speaker 1: guys know, on this podcast we always talk about finding
- 19:52Speaker 1: ways to just make yourself feel good. And let me
- 19:55Speaker 1: tell you, you feel good after a good workout. So one
- 19:58Speaker 1: thing that I always try and do is I try
- 20:00Speaker 1: and book at least five workouts a week, if not six.
- 20:04Speaker 1: Sometimes Again, that seems pretty extreme, and again if that's
- 20:07Speaker 1: too much for you, that is totally fine. I personally
- 20:09Speaker 1: think on average, everyone should work out at least three
- 20:12Speaker 1: times a week. I personally think that's the most realistic
- 20:14Speaker 1: schedule for a lot of people who work a busy.
- 20:16Speaker 2: Job nine to five.
- 20:18Speaker 1: It gives you time to do it on the weekend,
- 20:19Speaker 1: mornings or you know, a night after work or before
- 20:22Speaker 1: you start work in the mornings, but three times it would
- 20:25Speaker 1: probably be the most ideal for anyone to just keep
- 20:27Speaker 1: yourself in the best mental health state. Again, working out
- 20:31Speaker 1: doesn't only just help you physically, but it really does
- 20:33Speaker 1: help your mental health. And I think that's why I
- 20:35Speaker 1: personally love working out. Is it just like reduces my anxiety,
- 20:39Speaker 1: my stress, my mental health. For an example, I just
- 20:42Speaker 1: got back from my trip yesterday and I had a
- 20:45Speaker 1: workout class book for seven thirty this morning. Was I tired, absolutely,
- 20:49Speaker 1: because I feel like every time when you come back
- 20:51Speaker 1: from a trip, it's always hard to get back into routine.
- 20:53Speaker 1: But I feel like one thing for me is just
- 20:56Speaker 1: you got to just jump right back into it, Like
- 20:57Speaker 1: you can't just ignore it.
- 20:58Speaker 2: You just got to jump back into it.
- 21:00Speaker 1: And I personally find that helps me out and I
- 21:03Speaker 1: just eventually get back into that consistent routine because I
- 21:06Speaker 1: just buck the workout, I go to it, I suck
- 21:08Speaker 1: it up, I push through it. It's just like my
- 21:10Speaker 1: way to motivate myself to get back into the swing
- 21:13Speaker 1: of things and get my shit together. So that's a
- 21:15Speaker 1: tip if you're someone that's also lacking a routine or
- 21:18Speaker 1: anything like that. I think it's important just to like
- 21:20Speaker 1: push yourself to get back into it. And yeah, it's
- 21:23Speaker 1: so worth it and it feels so good doing it.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Another thing I love to do that makes me feel
- 21:28Speaker 1: more put together is getting a manicure and pedicure. I
- 21:32Speaker 1: love matching my nails with my toes. It feels very
- 21:35Speaker 1: put together. I love having almost like a matching set, right,
- 21:38Speaker 1: like matching fingernails with your matching toes. I got my
- 21:42Speaker 1: nails done, so now I just have to get my
- 21:43Speaker 1: toes done, and I'm going to do the exact same color.
- 21:45Speaker 1: Right now, I have this pink chrome color for my
- 21:49Speaker 1: beach strip, which I love, and then I'm probably gonna
- 21:52Speaker 1: do pink. I might not do pink chrome on my toes,
- 21:54Speaker 1: might just do the same color of pink so it matches.
- 21:58Speaker 1: But yeah, I think it's perfect for a beach strip.
- 22:01Speaker 1: I also just love a good neutral nail. You guys
- 22:03Speaker 1: know that I'm all about my bubble bath nail color.
- 22:06Speaker 1: It's just the most perfect neutral pink color. Another color
- 22:10Speaker 1: is called the ballet Slip, I believe, which is again
- 22:13Speaker 1: the most perfect sheer pink. This time I did more
- 22:17Speaker 1: of a brighter pink this one. I actually don't know
- 22:19Speaker 1: what it's called. I didn't get the name of this one.
- 22:20Speaker 1: I actually filmed the TikTok on this, so if I
- 22:23Speaker 1: see the name of what's on the bottle, I will
- 22:25Speaker 1: put the name in the caption. That way, if anyone's
- 22:28Speaker 1: interested in trying it out, but it really does look
- 22:30Speaker 1: really nice and I love the chrome finish. Getting facials
- 22:34Speaker 1: or even putting on face masks or eyemass again all
- 22:37Speaker 1: about keeping our skin moisturize, our skin looking nice and clear.
- 22:42Speaker 2: I've been wanting to get back into facials.
- 22:44Speaker 1: I have not been back since my wedding because before
- 22:47Speaker 1: my wedding I decided to do a facial every single month,
- 22:50Speaker 1: and I will say that it really did help my
- 22:52Speaker 1: skin because I felt like my skin wasn't as dry
- 22:55Speaker 1: this time last year because I was consistent with.
- 22:58Speaker 2: Going to get facials done.
- 23:00Speaker 1: So I was doing hydro facials every month and it
- 23:03Speaker 1: just really made a difference for my skin. So I
- 23:05Speaker 1: really want to get back into that. It is quite costly,
- 23:08Speaker 1: that's the only thing which honestly sucks, but I do
- 23:11Speaker 1: really really enjoy.
- 23:12Speaker 2: Getting them done.
- 23:13Speaker 1: So maybe it's not an every month thing, maybe it's
- 23:16Speaker 1: every two months, but I feel like Lisa, if I'm
- 23:18Speaker 1: doing something for my face by doing that, I think
- 23:21Speaker 1: it's beneficial. But also just doing imask weekly or face
- 23:26Speaker 1: masks like something easy to do from home.
- 23:28Speaker 2: I love those face masks, the ones.
- 23:31Speaker 1: That have gone viral on TikTok, It's like the white
- 23:34Speaker 1: mask that you put on your face and then like four.
- 23:35Speaker 2: Hours later it's clear.
- 23:37Speaker 1: You can sleep with it overnight, you can keep it
- 23:39Speaker 1: on I think for six to eight hours or something
- 23:42Speaker 1: like that, and it makes your skin look crystal clear.
- 23:46Speaker 2: I love those ones.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Another brand I love is the brand Doctor Jert I
- 23:50Speaker 1: think it is, and they have again a lot of
- 23:52Speaker 1: like moisturizing ones all that. So those are probably my
- 23:56Speaker 1: two favorite face masks that I've been using either weekly
- 23:59Speaker 1: or bi weekly. Another thing that we need to focus
- 24:01Speaker 1: on is our bodycare because I feel like this is
- 24:04Speaker 1: something that people neglect doing, including myself. Like sometimes I
- 24:07Speaker 1: just don't want to do my bodycare and you know,
- 24:10Speaker 1: I just feel like it's an extra step in my
- 24:11Speaker 1: routine that I don't have to do. But I do
- 24:13Speaker 1: think it's beneficial to spend that time after a hot
- 24:16Speaker 1: shower to do body oils, lotions, hand lotions.
- 24:20Speaker 2: You name it.
- 24:21Speaker 1: One body oil that I've been loving is the brand l'accutane.
- 24:25Speaker 2: I've been using their shower.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Body wash as well as the body lotion and body oil,
- 24:32Speaker 1: and it's so good. I feel like ten times better
- 24:37Speaker 1: after I do a full like body lotion routine.
- 24:40Speaker 2: I find my skin's glowing.
- 24:41Speaker 1: I feel like I don't know, everything's more defined, you
- 24:44Speaker 1: know what I mean?
- 24:45Speaker 2: Like it just oil is I.
- 24:47Speaker 1: Don't know, the most amazing thing ever in my opinion,
- 24:49Speaker 1: especially like for the face, for the body. It just yeah,
- 24:52Speaker 1: makes you look so clean and you just feel really
- 24:56Speaker 1: good after doing it. If you are looking for a
- 24:59Speaker 1: hair glow up for your hair to just look healthier,
- 25:02Speaker 1: feel better, hair mass hair glosses are your go to thing.
- 25:07Speaker 1: You can do them at home. You don't have to
- 25:08Speaker 1: go to the hair salon. If you want to go
- 25:10Speaker 1: to the hair salon and pay, I think it's like
- 25:12Speaker 1: forty dollars, you can actually get a hair gloss treatment
- 25:15Speaker 1: done there and it lasts up to six weeks.
- 25:17Speaker 2: I love doing those.
- 25:18Speaker 1: I try and do those once every two months because
- 25:21Speaker 1: I find my hair looks amazing when I get a
- 25:24Speaker 1: hair gloss done professionally. But there is hair glosses that
- 25:27Speaker 1: you can buy over the counter. I believe the brand
- 25:29Speaker 1: Redkin has a really really good one that you can
- 25:32Speaker 1: get and you just do it after your conditioner for
- 25:34Speaker 1: like ten minutes, I believe, and it makes your hair
- 25:36Speaker 1: look super shiny after and then one of My go
- 25:39Speaker 1: to hair masks that I love is the brand Geese Su.
- 25:42Speaker 1: It's a hair mass that you just use in the
- 25:45Speaker 1: shower again after you're done using conditioner, and you leave
- 25:48Speaker 1: it in for like ten to fifteen minutes and then
- 25:50Speaker 1: you wash it out. So that's my favorite hair mask. Lately.
- 25:53Speaker 1: I've also been taking hair vitamins to help with shedding as.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Well as hair loss, hair growth.
- 25:59Speaker 1: All that brand neutrafl It was actually recommended to be
- 26:02Speaker 1: one of the top brands, and I've been sticking to
- 26:05Speaker 1: it and I'm really excited to see the results in
- 26:08Speaker 1: the next few months of being consistent with it, because
- 26:10Speaker 1: I think one thing that's my main problem is my shedding.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Just because I have a lot of hair, I feel
- 26:15Speaker 1: like my hair sheds pretty bad as well as just
- 26:18Speaker 1: like the thinning in my roots. Because I do a
- 26:21Speaker 1: lot of slickback looks for workout classes or I just
- 26:24Speaker 1: I don't know, I like my hair slick back whenever
- 26:26Speaker 1: I'm going out sometimes just a.
- 26:28Speaker 2: Slick back ponytail. It gives you like a face lift.
- 26:30Speaker 1: I don't know if anyone else can agree to that,
- 26:32Speaker 1: but I truly do feel like when I wear my hair.
- 26:35Speaker 2: And a slick by ponytail.
- 26:35Speaker 1: It just like looks my face looks ten times better
- 26:38Speaker 1: because it's all nice and slick and it's away from
- 26:40Speaker 1: my face and I just feel like it looks so good.
- 26:43Speaker 1: So yeah, I'm just hoping that the vitamins will help
- 26:46Speaker 1: with like the thinning around my roots.
- 26:48Speaker 2: So I'll keep you guys updated on that.
- 26:49Speaker 1: Still very new to me, but definitely already noticing a
- 26:52Speaker 1: bit of the results with less hair shedding, which is great.
- 26:56Speaker 1: I've also been using rosemary oil, like dabbing into the hair.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Hair routine is something that I've been really trying to
- 27:02Speaker 1: focus on this year, is just having a better hair
- 27:04Speaker 1: care routine. So I've been using rosemary oil on my
- 27:07Speaker 1: hair washed days, around my scalp as well as just
- 27:10Speaker 1: any areas that could use some growth, so just like
- 27:13Speaker 1: split ends, you know, broken hair, anything like that.
- 27:17Speaker 2: So yeah, again this is all new to me.
- 27:19Speaker 1: This is something that I've started for this year, is
- 27:22Speaker 1: just getting into a haircare routine. So I will keep
- 27:25Speaker 1: you guys updated always when I'm trying new things and
- 27:28Speaker 1: if I think it's worth it or not. Another thing
- 27:30Speaker 1: that always feels good doing is putting a bit of
- 27:32Speaker 1: makeup on each day, So taking the time to actually
- 27:35Speaker 1: get ready each day will definitely improve your confidence and
- 27:39Speaker 1: improve your overall mood. I find just spending ten minutes
- 27:43Speaker 1: a day of doing like a no makeup makeup look
- 27:45Speaker 1: by adding some bronze or adding some blush, adding some
- 27:48Speaker 1: freckles and a bit of lip gloss and a lipliner
- 27:51Speaker 1: that to me right there just makes me feel ten
- 27:54Speaker 1: times more confident in myself. And if you're the kind
- 27:57Speaker 1: of person that just feels pale and wants to feel
- 27:59Speaker 1: more more tanned, I love doing a warmer look to
- 28:02Speaker 1: my makeup, so adding a lot of bronzer, finding blushes
- 28:06Speaker 1: that are in the warm tone, so something that looks
- 28:08Speaker 1: more sun kiss so more of like a deeper pink
- 28:11Speaker 1: and almost like a brown pink, if that makes sense.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Doing brown tones and warm tones for your makeup will
- 28:17Speaker 1: truly really make yourself look ten times tanner than you
- 28:20Speaker 1: actually are, and it will completely just improve your overall
- 28:23Speaker 1: look and you'll just feel ten times better doing it.
- 28:25Speaker 1: So if there's one tip that I could recommend to
- 28:28Speaker 1: do daily is just spend the ten minutes of putting
- 28:30Speaker 1: a bit of makeup on each day and you'll feel
- 28:33Speaker 1: more put together. Another thing I actually find that helps
- 28:35Speaker 1: me feel more put together as well is adding some
- 28:38Speaker 1: jewelry on every single day, So adding a big pair
- 28:41Speaker 1: of gold hoops, adding some rings, putting some bracelets on,
- 28:45Speaker 1: maybe even a watch, adding a necklace. Like, I love
- 28:48Speaker 1: layering my jewelry, and I feel like if it's like
- 28:49Speaker 1: an everyday look of putting on jewelry with like a
- 28:52Speaker 1: slick back ponytail, your ten minute makeup no makeup look
- 28:55Speaker 1: with like a matching set immediately right there, you're going
- 28:58Speaker 1: to look ten times more put together because it looks
- 29:01Speaker 1: like you put a lot of effort in but you
- 29:03Speaker 1: really didn't. Like it's a very minimalistic, clean girl, no
- 29:07Speaker 1: makeup makeup kind of vibe. By adding the jewelry, adding
- 29:10Speaker 1: the matching set, adding the slickback ponytail with the no
- 29:13Speaker 1: makeup makeup look, or even just your hair down. It
- 29:16Speaker 1: doesn't have to be slicked back, but you guys get
- 29:17Speaker 1: the Just adding the accessories while having a bit of
- 29:21Speaker 1: makeup on your face and wearing a matching set just
- 29:24Speaker 1: all in all makes you feel ten times more put together.
- 29:27Speaker 1: Other tips that I recommend when it comes to the
- 29:29Speaker 1: winter uglies is red light therapy. Red light therapy is
- 29:32Speaker 1: definitely something that allows you to have a better mood.
- 29:35Speaker 1: It's almost called the happy light, which I think is
- 29:37Speaker 1: supposed to reflect sunlight that you would have outside. I
- 29:41Speaker 1: think that's what it is, but I could be wrong.
- 29:43Speaker 1: But I have a red light therapy mask that I
- 29:45Speaker 1: try and use every like two to three days, and
- 29:48Speaker 1: there's also amazing benefits for your skin for doing that.
- 29:51Speaker 2: But the red light therapy is.
- 29:53Speaker 1: Truly a game changer and it really does help boost
- 29:55Speaker 1: your overall mood. So definitely do your own research. Again,
- 29:58Speaker 1: this is something that I've just done research on through
- 30:02Speaker 1: you know, my own research, but it definitely helps a
- 30:06Speaker 1: lot with your overall mood. The last thing I find
- 30:08Speaker 1: helps boost my mood whenever I'm in the winter Uglies,
- 30:11Speaker 1: is a teeth whitener. I talked about this a few
- 30:15Speaker 1: episodes ago, and you guys still chase me for this,
- 30:17Speaker 1: which is so funny. But I've been loving this toothpaste
- 30:19Speaker 1: that's a whitening toothpaste, and guys, it's sold out everywhere,
- 30:22Speaker 1: Like I literally can't even link it for you because
- 30:25Speaker 1: every time someone asked me to link it, it's sold out.
- 30:27Speaker 1: So I will link it once it's back in stock, Like,
- 30:30Speaker 1: I'm so upset because I just finished mine and it's
- 30:33Speaker 1: just the best toothpaste I've ever used in my life.
- 30:36Speaker 1: It's based in Europe, and I think that's why it's
- 30:38Speaker 1: really difficult to get here, because everyone's buying it off Amazon,
- 30:41Speaker 1: and clearly people have talked about it, and it's not
- 30:44Speaker 1: just me. I'm sure other people have hyped up the
- 30:46Speaker 1: product through social media because it's that good. And I
- 30:49Speaker 1: got my sister hooked on it, I got my mom
- 30:51Speaker 1: hooked on it, and it's completely transformed their teeth as well.
- 30:54Speaker 1: So when it comes back into stock, I will definitely
- 30:56Speaker 1: link it for you guys. Or if you guys know
- 30:59Speaker 1: where I I can buy it where it's available, let
- 31:02Speaker 1: me know and I'll share it with everyone. Or if
- 31:04Speaker 1: you want a gate keep it, that's fine too. But
- 31:06Speaker 1: the brand is the Marvist toothpaste. It's the whitening one,
- 31:10Speaker 1: and it tastes good. It makes a difference completely with
- 31:13Speaker 1: your teeth. I actually don't do whitening strips because I
- 31:16Speaker 1: feel like I don't need to with this toothpaste. I
- 31:18Speaker 1: used to do the whitening strips, but I hear mixed
- 31:21Speaker 1: opinions about the whitening strips. I don't know how good
- 31:24Speaker 1: it is for you. Like the cress ones, I just
- 31:27Speaker 1: don't think the chemicals are probably good for us. So
- 31:31Speaker 1: I just use this toothpaste from Europe and I love
- 31:34Speaker 1: it and I think it works so well. I definitely
- 31:36Speaker 1: think there's probably more natural resources for whitening your teeth.
- 31:39Speaker 1: I hear coconut oil pulling. I don't know if you
- 31:42Speaker 1: guys have heard of that technique where you put coconut
- 31:44Speaker 1: oil in your mouth and it's almost like you kind
- 31:46Speaker 1: of smear it around in your mouth and then you
- 31:48Speaker 1: spit it out, and it's supposed to help whiten your teeth.
- 31:51Speaker 1: I don't have real teeth. For my first forefront teeth.
- 31:55Speaker 1: It's bonding and it's basically like a fake tooth forefront
- 32:00Speaker 1: teeth because of some issue that I had as a kid.
- 32:03Speaker 1: I'm not going to go into that detail. But anyways,
- 32:06Speaker 1: not all like whitening strips and techniques like that, like
- 32:09Speaker 1: the coconut oil pulling, really work for my bonding, unless
- 32:13Speaker 1: if you're a dentist or a hygienis here listening to
- 32:15Speaker 1: the podcast so you can correct me if I'm wrong,
- 32:17Speaker 1: but I don't always see the results when doing that,
- 32:19Speaker 1: so I don't know. I just stick to a whitening
- 32:21Speaker 1: toothpaste and I find that helps. But I definitely know
- 32:24Speaker 1: there's a lot of brands that have gone viral on TikTok.
- 32:27Speaker 1: I'm sure you can find them through there. I can't
- 32:29Speaker 1: think of the brand right now, but there's definitely a
- 32:32Speaker 1: lot of ways to whiten your teeth instead of just
- 32:35Speaker 1: using like the cress whitening strips. But I would say
- 32:38Speaker 1: those are like my top twelve tips when it comes
- 32:41Speaker 1: to the winter uglies. I feel like when I do
- 32:43Speaker 1: these things, I definitely feel more confident, I feel like myself,
- 32:45Speaker 1: I feel more put together, and it's kind of like
- 32:48Speaker 1: my little glow up guide that I like always refer
- 32:50Speaker 1: to whenever I'm feeling this way. I also feel like
- 32:53Speaker 1: when you feel good, you also want your home to
- 32:56Speaker 1: look good as well, So I also feel like making
- 32:58Speaker 1: sure you're keeping up with a good clean home is
- 33:00Speaker 1: always important. You'll feel even better when you have a
- 33:03Speaker 1: clean space that you're always in, and just I feel
- 33:05Speaker 1: like when my house is clean, I feel better about
- 33:07Speaker 1: myself too. I know that sounds weird, but I do
- 33:09Speaker 1: think the environment that you're in every single day also
- 33:12Speaker 1: makes a huge difference on how you feel. So yeah,
- 33:15Speaker 1: making sure you keep up with a good reset routine,
- 33:18Speaker 1: and yeah, just keeping your home clean. But that is
- 33:21Speaker 1: today's episode, guys. I hope you guys enjoyed it. I
- 33:24Speaker 1: will be back for next week's episode. It will be
- 33:27Speaker 1: kind of a last minute download because I don't get
- 33:29Speaker 1: back until Tuesday night, so I'll be back on the Wednesday,
- 33:32Speaker 1: which means you'll probably record an edit all in the
- 33:35Speaker 1: same day, so it may take me a bit of
- 33:37Speaker 1: time to upload the next episode. But there will be
- 33:39Speaker 1: an episode next week as well, so stay tuned for that.
- 33:42Speaker 1: But I love you guys also much.
- 33:44Speaker 2: I am so excited to go down South.
