- 1:41Speaker 1: talk first impressions. What did you think of this episode
- 1:43Speaker 1: of Hope Balley eighteen seventy four.
- 1:45Speaker 2: I don't even know what happened in this episode because
- 1:48Speaker 2: I blacked out when Tom put Rebecca in her muddy
- 1:50Speaker 2: boots on her brand new couch.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Isn't my digit see that?
- 1:56Speaker 2: I literally was like, oh no, you know me, I'm
- 1:59Speaker 2: like such a freak about that kind of stuff.
- 2:02Speaker 1: My first impression is we only that Rebeca couldn't keep
- 2:04Speaker 1: up this pace, but I was still sad to see
- 2:05Speaker 1: her finally fall apart. Yeah, let's talk what we liked.
- 2:09Speaker 2: I sat there was two actually one really important storyline
- 2:15Speaker 2: in this episode, and it's Rebecca's grief finally gets the
- 2:21Speaker 2: space it deserves, and then Rebecca and Sarah have this
- 2:27Speaker 2: really nice moment and lovely.
- 2:30Speaker 1: So that's where a majority of my likes are at.
- 2:36Speaker 1: So we learned that Jim dies of clarasy. That's it.
- 2:39Speaker 1: I was like, wait, what was it?
- 2:41Speaker 2: And they and they leave basically like weeks after his death.
- 2:45Speaker 2: There's no time to grief think about it. What we
- 2:48Speaker 2: were talking about on the way home, and how Dell
- 2:50Speaker 2: was like in like years dealing with grief over dedakov.
- 2:56Speaker 1: And yes, yes, yes.
- 2:58Speaker 2: And so then we have like Rebecca who's just like
- 3:01Speaker 2: fearful of Jim's family. It feels like she's got to
- 3:03Speaker 2: go right. Well, I still need a little bit more
- 3:07Speaker 2: clarity on that. I'm gonna talk about my wishes. But
- 3:09Speaker 2: you know, she just hits the open road that's a
- 3:12Speaker 2: and surviving out on this like you right, packed up
- 3:16Speaker 2: a wagon. Yeah, she's just like shoving all this stuff down.
- 3:20Speaker 2: And I find it very relatable, to be honest.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Well, you just had she just had to get it
- 3:25Speaker 1: done right.
- 3:26Speaker 2: I mean, And I think that's a lot, you know,
- 3:28Speaker 2: as a woman. I remember when my mom died. My
- 3:32Speaker 2: daughter was in the fourth grade and I was like
- 3:33Speaker 2: the class parent, and it was like a very busy
- 3:36Speaker 2: time of school and I was there at school doing
- 3:38Speaker 2: something The next day after my mom died, and one
- 3:42Speaker 2: of my friends had told the teacher and the teacher
- 3:44Speaker 2: came over and told me, She's like, what are you
- 3:46Speaker 2: doing here? And I was like, there's stuff to be done.
- 3:49Speaker 2: I'm responsible things, and she's like, I totally get it.
- 3:52Speaker 2: So she's like, sometimes we just have to like put
- 3:54Speaker 2: things aside, put your head down to get things done.
- 3:58Speaker 2: And I wonder if that it's like, do you think
- 4:01Speaker 2: that's like a thing women do?
- 4:04Speaker 1: Yeah? I think would my husband? I think the diff
- 4:09Speaker 1: I don't know. Would my husband do the same thing.
- 4:11Speaker 1: I don't know. I think my husband is less likely
- 4:14Speaker 1: to cancel something because of emotions. Yeah, same. My husband's
- 4:18Speaker 1: the same way. You know, he's talking to me like
- 4:20Speaker 1: I need to be home and be sad about this.
- 4:22Speaker 1: But he wouldn't, I think, feel an obligation right to
- 4:27Speaker 1: do it. I don't think. I think that would be
- 4:29Speaker 1: the difference. He wouldn't be like, well, they're counting on me.
- 4:32Speaker 1: I got to show up, you know, if he had
- 4:34Speaker 1: another thing going on, he would not even think twice
- 4:37Speaker 1: about it, right right? Yeah, I think that's a women
- 4:41Speaker 1: thing probably. So I just thought it was a really
- 4:44Speaker 1: interesting take. Well, and I the thing I really loved
- 4:48Speaker 1: about this, I thought that the final resolution with Rebecca
- 4:51Speaker 1: and Sarah was really lovely that their connection at the
- 4:54Speaker 1: end and the way they finally honor him was was touching.
- 4:58Speaker 1: I loved that didn't let go. In the beginning of
- 5:03Speaker 1: the episode, she clocks that something's going on with Rebecca
- 5:06Speaker 1: and she's been aware. She's been such a good friend
- 5:09Speaker 1: to Rebecca, and Rebecca blows her off, and Hattie doesn't
- 5:13Speaker 1: let it go. And not only is she a good
- 5:16Speaker 1: friend to Rebecca, but she's good to her by listening
- 5:19Speaker 1: to Sarah too. Yes, and she hears what's going on
- 5:22Speaker 1: with Sarah, and she takes it to Rebecca in not
- 5:25Speaker 1: an accusatory way, in such a kind, loving look. I'm
- 5:30Speaker 1: a mom who lost her husband, is raising a daughter.
- 5:33Speaker 1: I get it. But also I think there's things that
- 5:36Speaker 1: you're not seeing and it's so like you couldn't have
- 5:40Speaker 1: done it better. She moved her forward in just this
- 5:44Speaker 1: incredibly loving and strong way. I look, the women are
- 5:49Speaker 1: the heart of this show, and I really like that.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Yes, so do I so do I I know I
- 5:56Speaker 2: last week I was like, oh, the episode's kind of boring.
- 5:59Speaker 2: I do really enjoy this show, and especially when we
- 6:02Speaker 2: dig deeper into these dynamics between the women. I mean
- 6:08Speaker 2: Hattie MVP A one hundred percent not an.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Action packed show. I mean, this is very much a
- 6:16Speaker 1: comforting show to watch. It's just it's not like The
- 6:19Speaker 1: Count Money Cristo or you're like on the edge of
- 6:21Speaker 1: your seat the entire time. Right. Yeah.
- 6:24Speaker 2: I love that scene where like Hattie overhears Olivia and
- 6:27Speaker 2: Sarah and she's learning all this stuff and I think,
- 6:31Speaker 2: and then is relating it back to her experience and
- 6:35Speaker 2: then just you know, oh, Rebecca, let me show you
- 6:38Speaker 2: this spot. This is where I come and like when
- 6:41Speaker 2: I agree it's okay to like relive the memories and
- 6:46Speaker 2: find the good stuff that you guys did have together
- 6:49Speaker 2: and share those things with your kid or whatever. I
- 6:52Speaker 2: just thought was so good, so so good. Let's talk
- 6:56Speaker 2: about the land dispute.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. I loved it. I think it was
- 7:01Speaker 1: very interesting. Finally the constable gets something to do A
- 7:05Speaker 1: yes and b. I liked the meeting. It was very
- 7:08Speaker 1: fun to watch everyone getting all heated, and I like
- 7:12Speaker 1: the resolution. It makes perfect sense to me.
- 7:16Speaker 2: No, oh, let me think through this now. I agree,
- 7:21Speaker 2: it makes perfect sense. But Doyle does have a point.
- 7:25Speaker 2: He did file first.
- 7:27Speaker 1: He did file first, but Tom had been ranching that
- 7:31Speaker 1: land for a long time prior to now. They didn't
- 7:36Speaker 1: need a land grant. You just kind of claimed it.
- 7:40Speaker 1: I mean, is Tom a squatter? I guess in that case,
- 7:43Speaker 1: I don't know, you know. I think for Doyle to
- 7:46Speaker 1: show up and be like, well, I'm here, I'm going
- 7:48Speaker 1: to use it now, and I asked for it first,
- 7:51Speaker 1: the finder's keepers, I don't know, Yeah, and he grants
- 7:54Speaker 1: him an easement so we can cross the ranch land. Oh,
- 7:57Speaker 1: Tom did not like. Tom didn't not like that decision.
- 7:59Speaker 1: I was like, you don't bite the hand that feeds you.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Like you won, you won. My favorite thing about that
- 8:05Speaker 1: scene though, is at the very end where Doyle's like,
- 8:08Speaker 1: I'm going to your superior and I and I think
- 8:14Speaker 1: he says on a fast horse, it'll take you a
- 8:16Speaker 1: week to reach him, but be my guest. Yeah. I
- 8:19Speaker 1: was like, like Doyle going to get there. He's like,
- 8:21Speaker 1: gtfo man, you're never going to do that, Like go
- 8:23Speaker 1: talk to him.
- 8:25Speaker 2: How does how did Doyle damn the creek? One man
- 8:29Speaker 2: all by himself damned the creek.
- 8:30Speaker 1: I mean the creek's not that wide. Just tossing some
- 8:33Speaker 1: some wooden there, just build hoover damage I know, I know,
- 8:38Speaker 1: I know. You know, we live in Orange County. There's
- 8:41Speaker 1: not like a ton of creeks. There is not, that's true.
- 8:45Speaker 1: I liked all that.
- 8:46Speaker 2: I mean, it's a real pissing contest between Tom and Doyle. Yeah,
- 8:50Speaker 2: you know, and I do. It was kind of interesting
- 8:53Speaker 2: because twice there were two examples where Nash was like, hey, Tom,
- 8:58Speaker 2: do you want help with like confronting oil, And Tom's like, no,
- 9:01Speaker 2: I got it myself.
- 9:02Speaker 1: I was like why.
- 9:03Speaker 2: First of all, Nash's like ride or eye dude, Like
- 9:06Speaker 2: He's like, you know what I mean, you know, like
- 9:08Speaker 2: you've seen those movies were like come on, let's go
- 9:11Speaker 2: knock some heads in or whatever.
- 9:13Speaker 1: I have some thoughts about that. But Tom's like, now
- 9:15Speaker 1: I got it myself. You mind these ranch hands. I mean,
- 9:19Speaker 1: did they flood that land plot of Land production? Yeah, yeah,
- 9:24Speaker 1: because it was moppy, very muddy, the b of the hoes.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Maybe uh huh, it's just cure. Maybe maybe they just
- 9:33Speaker 1: got a ton of rain and they're like, oh, film
- 9:35Speaker 1: it now, film it now. Totally.
- 9:37Speaker 2: I mean, I liked all that, but I do think
- 9:40Speaker 2: what I thought was really funny was like Alexander the Constable,
- 9:43Speaker 2: like practicing like, yes, there's not a ton of comic
- 9:48Speaker 2: relief in this no in this show, and so when
- 9:50Speaker 2: it has these little moments, it didn't make me laugh
- 9:53Speaker 2: out loud. And he's like practicing like he's like, I
- 9:55Speaker 2: gotta be basically judge and jury, like.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You know that's ultimately rebec as the one who steps in,
- 10:01Speaker 1: and she's like makes them like simmer down. Oh that
- 10:04Speaker 1: was so funny.
- 10:05Speaker 2: When they were all heated and she's like, hey, listen,
- 10:07Speaker 2: she was like ready to hand some ass to these people.
- 10:10Speaker 2: She's like, you're not gonna mess up my brand new
- 10:12Speaker 2: table in my boarding house.
- 10:14Speaker 1: That we're like sorry, ma'am. Yeah.
- 10:16Speaker 2: I thought that was great, and I did like that
- 10:18Speaker 2: both sides brought interested party.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, had their teams. It was really good.
- 10:24Speaker 2: The one last thing I really liked was the Rachel
- 10:26Speaker 2: and Lars storyline. Here pure sweetness, pure sweetness. When Rachel's like, oh,
- 10:33Speaker 2: I can make bread and she's asking for like food
- 10:36Speaker 2: in exchange, like, oh my.
- 10:37Speaker 1: That's gotta be some hard living.
- 10:40Speaker 2: And I was so happy when Lars found this little
- 10:43Speaker 2: nugget of gold but it was only.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Worth ten dollar.
- 10:45Speaker 3: Went.
- 10:46Speaker 1: I was like he found it and I felt it
- 10:48Speaker 1: in my soul and it wasn't as much as he wanted. Yeah,
- 10:51Speaker 1: that scene really got me, especially when Hattie and Olivia
- 10:54Speaker 1: are saying goodbye to them. Yeah, I was like, oh no,
- 10:58Speaker 1: and I thought they surely can't be leaving. But I
- 11:01Speaker 1: loved the solution and it makes a lot of sense
- 11:04Speaker 1: for everybody, and Rebecca can finally focus a little more
- 11:08Speaker 1: and hand off the mess tent. I love that. Yeah,
- 11:11Speaker 1: I'm glad that she had some realization here, like she
- 11:14Speaker 1: can't do everything, she needs to pull back a little bit.
- 11:18Speaker 1: I have a couple of little likes. We do see
- 11:20Speaker 1: Recca and Tom growing ever so slightly closer again, It's
- 11:22Speaker 1: an incredibly slow burn, but she continues to confide in him, Yeah,
- 11:27Speaker 1: about her fears about Constable Vaughan, and in a much
- 11:30Speaker 1: less guarded way than she has, like the damn has opened,
- 11:33Speaker 1: so to speak, and so now that he knows. And
- 11:36Speaker 1: I like how he says, suspicion breads suspicion, try out
- 11:39Speaker 1: to give him something to worry about. Yeah, be chill,
- 11:42Speaker 1: be cool, don't be uncool. Right. Finally, I enjoyed the
- 11:45Speaker 1: final scene, the reveal of the big fancy house and
- 11:49Speaker 1: the woman who we assume as Rebecca's former mother in law. Yes,
- 11:53Speaker 1: reading the newspaper where the drawing of Rebecca and Sarah appeared,
- 11:59Speaker 1: and I you have your fo Olivia, do you have
- 12:03Speaker 1: a voicemail to play about it? I am the laugh first,
- 12:06Speaker 1: and as you know, if you put down a dough
- 12:07Speaker 1: first day, that's not believable. That would never happen because
- 12:12Speaker 1: I watched duds movies. I'm a escape from reality and
- 12:16Speaker 1: angels would never happen.
- 12:17Speaker 3: But I know ab'sen end happy the neighbor after. However,
- 12:21Speaker 3: I have an issue with the laugh that it's never
- 12:23Speaker 3: in the Pope Valley.
- 12:25Speaker 1: I watched one calls the Heart from feg and one.
- 12:28Speaker 3: I like storyline, Yes, the wolf flip the bit out there,
- 12:33Speaker 3: but what one also.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Reminiscent of a little house that to say, is stam called.
- 12:37Speaker 3: However, Mike Ride's been with the goth episode and the
- 12:40Speaker 3: final scene where when I came with her mother in.
- 12:43Speaker 4: Law opened the Chicago paper and seek the drawing of
- 12:46Speaker 4: her and her daughter.
- 12:47Speaker 1: Making a deal.
- 12:48Speaker 4: Now, if Rebecca it still concerned about hiding and not
- 12:53Speaker 4: having anyone know where they are, collect only keep a
- 12:56Speaker 4: secret about her pal, but where she's from why on God,
- 13:00Speaker 4: or you let from one who was drawing pictures or
- 13:04Speaker 4: the knee paper drawed extren current daughter. Yeah, it will
- 13:07Speaker 4: be the lat of things in today on zeb thing
- 13:10Speaker 4: like putting your cuts.
- 13:11Speaker 1: One for media and and that's where he lived. So
- 13:14Speaker 1: I did do not understand why.
- 13:16Speaker 3: Aside from the fact of it's good cliffhanger and now
- 13:19Speaker 3: it breathe in the in law into the story line.
- 13:22Speaker 3: But if you're still the picking that your daughter, you
- 13:24Speaker 3: would never let anyone get to you and your daughter,
- 13:26Speaker 3: you know, and did it as soon to put out
- 13:28Speaker 3: in the paper as marketing.
- 13:30Speaker 2: I think that's a fair take. But also our back
- 13:32Speaker 2: is busy. Does she actually know that that picture was
- 13:34Speaker 2: sketched of them?
- 13:36Speaker 1: That's what I was wondering A and B. I think
- 13:38Speaker 1: sometimes we you're so living minute to minute that you
- 13:41Speaker 1: don't have the foresight necessarily to think about the consequences
- 13:44Speaker 1: of your action. You can't imagine that something is going
- 13:46Speaker 1: to have the reach that it's going to have. I
- 13:49Speaker 1: agree we should. We should have seen that one coming.
- 13:51Speaker 1: I guess I didn't see it come in. I didn't either.
- 13:55Speaker 2: I mean kudos to Olivia for drawing, you know, such likeness.
- 13:59Speaker 2: Right that the mother in law is like, she recognizes
- 14:02Speaker 2: that my daughter in law and with my granddaughter who
- 14:05Speaker 2: has been gone for who knows how long?
- 14:08Speaker 1: Right, I completely forgot to tell you that one of
- 14:10Speaker 1: my likes was the boarding house has finally come deem
- 14:12Speaker 1: together finally and it looks good. Yeah, I'm gonna talk
- 14:16Speaker 1: about it, and I did you see that? Okay, let's
- 14:19Speaker 1: take aqick break and we're gonna come back with our wishes.
- 14:29Speaker 1: I only have a few wishes about this episode. Same
- 14:32Speaker 1: if I can start, because I want to reference what
- 14:34Speaker 1: you said. Nash's like ride or Die, write it to knockheads,
- 14:38Speaker 1: Benjamin Ayers. I love this man. I love him as
- 14:41Speaker 1: an actor. He's not a bad cop. He's not a
- 14:45Speaker 1: bad guy. And there's a moment where he basically growls, mmmm,
- 14:49Speaker 1: it's coming from the stream like when he realizes, he's like,
- 14:53Speaker 1: it's coming from the stream like, and I was like, oh,
- 14:55Speaker 1: do it again. I'm not gonna do it, sweet sweet man. Right,
- 15:00Speaker 1: he needs to be a man who drinks is smoothie
- 15:02Speaker 1: out of the blender? What do we talk to you?
- 15:05Speaker 1: All out of love? Truly my first favorite Hallmark actor,
- 15:10Speaker 1: you know from the beginning was Benjamin Ayers. Yeah, I
- 15:12Speaker 1: was in Airshead before you were. It's not a real wish,
- 15:16Speaker 1: but I do think that Nash should be in the
- 15:19Speaker 1: role of bad cop. Oh yeah, yeah, because when Nash
- 15:22Speaker 1: is like, well get him, I can now Nash is
- 15:25Speaker 1: a sweet guy in the show, but I can believe
- 15:27Speaker 1: that he has that darker side. Nash also has like
- 15:29Speaker 1: a busted leg right now still, though I understand why
- 15:31Speaker 1: he can't be Yeah. But also, all all Tom does
- 15:35Speaker 1: is go throw some words at the guy. He doesn't
- 15:37Speaker 1: actually throw hands.
- 15:39Speaker 2: I wondered if ben Ayers is actually riding the horse
- 15:42Speaker 2: in this show. We see him like riding away and
- 15:46Speaker 2: it's only like the back of him.
- 15:47Speaker 1: At some point we've seen him on a horse and
- 15:50Speaker 1: from the front like have you in Olivia go for
- 15:52Speaker 1: a oh yeah, and he and Rebecca goes for a ride.
- 15:56Speaker 1: He's definitely him writing.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Was he on the was he actual on that horse
- 16:00Speaker 2: when when he was trying to like break that horse
- 16:03Speaker 2: or whatever, which oh yeah, bucked off I don't really like.
- 16:05Speaker 2: I mean, I'm imagining that Benjamin Aer's didn't actually get.
- 16:08Speaker 1: Bucked off of that stallion yet. But yeah, he's definitely
- 16:11Speaker 1: riding a horse. Okay, can you imagine that? Like we
- 16:13Speaker 1: want you for this show and he's like, yeah, I
- 16:14Speaker 1: can't ride a horse, and they're like, that's sorry, I'll
- 16:16Speaker 1: make it work. Well, that would be me if I
- 16:18Speaker 1: ever got when we need you to ride a horse,
- 16:20Speaker 1: I'd be like, I'm scared of those big animals. Can't
- 16:22Speaker 1: do it? Sorry, are you really? Yeah? Huh? The animal
- 16:28Speaker 1: would kill me. No. I used to go to horseback
- 16:30Speaker 1: riding care. I know you have, but you don't think
- 16:33Speaker 1: a horse could kill you? Sure? I think it could.
- 16:37Speaker 1: That's scary. They scare me. Okay, they are bigger than you.
- 16:41Speaker 1: It's reasonable bite my hand off if I'm trying to feed.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Their teeth are flat. It still would hurt. It might hurt,
- 16:46Speaker 1: but it would not remove your hand. I'll stick to Uh.
- 16:51Speaker 1: Horses are herbivores. I don't think it's going to eat
- 16:53Speaker 1: me on me. That's why you feed it a horse
- 17:00Speaker 1: with an open hand. No, I think I have PTSD.
- 17:04Speaker 1: I don't know. Okay, exposure therapy. We're gonna go to Ireland.
- 17:08Speaker 1: We're gonna stay at Adare Manor and I'm gonna take you. Actually, no,
- 17:11Speaker 1: because English writing sucks. Okay, we went horseback writing in
- 17:15Speaker 1: Ireland with my daughter, and I've only ridden Western because
- 17:18Speaker 1: I'm from here and we had to ride English, and y'all,
- 17:22Speaker 1: I don't know how people are doing that.
- 17:24Speaker 2: I don't know what the difference is, but I think
- 17:25Speaker 2: you and I should go to like a dude ranch
- 17:27Speaker 2: for like a getaway.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Wheeze, let's do it. Oh my gosh, I would love that.
- 17:33Speaker 1: The difference is that English writing is a lot harder.
- 17:35Speaker 1: It's it's a lot more physically involved. You're basically using
- 17:39Speaker 1: your quads the entire time. I don't know how y'all
- 17:42Speaker 1: do it. Moving on, Okay, what other wishes do you have?
- 17:45Speaker 2: It's a tiny wish, and it has to do with
- 17:47Speaker 2: Rebecca's backstory. I know we're getting there. I just need
- 17:50Speaker 2: to know why she's so afraid.
- 17:54Speaker 1: Well, we know the answer. She thinks her in laws
- 17:57Speaker 1: are gonna go. We're not going. You can't. They can't.
- 18:00Speaker 1: Well she thinks anybody can be bought. Yeah, I don't
- 18:02Speaker 1: like that's not those steaks are not rich enough for me. Oh,
- 18:07Speaker 1: you think there's something else, or you want there to
- 18:08Speaker 1: be something don't know. I kind of want there to
- 18:10Speaker 1: be something else. Yeah, I suspect that there's not. But
- 18:13Speaker 1: then what happens in season two A lot of unreasonable fears. Yeah,
- 18:17Speaker 1: but it's okay that in season two she's no longer afraid.
- 18:20Speaker 1: They find another conflict? What other tension? What conflict? Let's
- 18:25Speaker 1: let's workshop this. I don't know life on the Frontiers.
- 18:28Speaker 1: Heard someone's having a bad day from sleeping on that. Hey, mattress. Oh,
- 18:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna talk about it. I'm gonna talk about it. Oh,
- 18:33Speaker 1: talk about it. Oh my gosh, that's really my only wish.
- 18:36Speaker 2: I am glad that I have Rebecca doing too much
- 18:39Speaker 2: storyline continues. I am finally hopefully we put a pin
- 18:44Speaker 2: in that.
- 18:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I think so. I have two little wishes. I
- 18:47Speaker 1: know beggars can't be choosers, and I love seeing the
- 18:49Speaker 1: boarding house come together, But I would really have loved
- 18:51Speaker 1: to see a montage with the renovations agree. And finally,
- 18:56Speaker 1: we need a longing look count on this series between
- 18:59Speaker 1: Alexander Klay and Olivia. I can't it drives me crazy,
- 19:05Speaker 1: Oh Alexander, oh clear. Oh, and just the way the
- 19:09Speaker 1: guys like every time she connects with the other one
- 19:11Speaker 1: and they're just sitting there like they shoot daggers at
- 19:13Speaker 1: each other. Well clean was shooting daggers at Alexander. No,
- 19:17Speaker 1: I know it's giving Brady and Elliott a little bit.
- 19:21Speaker 2: Let's talk to you to see that. I talked about
- 19:23Speaker 2: it in my first impression. Rebecca faints outside. Tom grabs her.
- 19:28Speaker 2: He does get a little bit of her.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Boutet in the in the catch. Uh, not that big
- 19:35Speaker 1: of a dob. I mean he also he caught her
- 19:36Speaker 1: resses her face. Yes, but I'm telling you, like.
- 19:41Speaker 2: They all just moved in all this brand new furniture,
- 19:44Speaker 2: and he the woman has been These.
- 19:46Speaker 1: Shoes are not clean, her clothes are not clean, and
- 19:50Speaker 1: the couch is white. Well, not only does he lay
- 19:53Speaker 1: her on the white couch? My did you see that? Say?
- 19:55Speaker 1: White silva's on the frontier seems like a terrible idea.
- 19:58Speaker 1: You need a pattern, a darkly colored one at that.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Because there's no indoor plumbing. These people aren't showering daily.
- 20:04Speaker 1: Oh they're filthy, I know. And you're building a boarding
- 20:08Speaker 1: house for prospectors who work outside all day long. Yes,
- 20:11Speaker 1: these white sofas are not long for this world. Yes,
- 20:14Speaker 1: mostly put plastic on them, yes, yes, yes.
- 20:16Speaker 2: To piggyback off of that when she like kind of
- 20:19Speaker 2: awakes and we see the the pov of like looking
- 20:23Speaker 2: up at Tom over her. I was like, well, hello there, Tom.
- 20:27Speaker 2: I mean that's something nice to wake up too.
- 20:30Speaker 1: I feel like you blew past too quickly. The face correct,
- 20:34Speaker 1: he really remember when he catches her, he's like holding
- 20:37Speaker 1: her when he first catches her, he's holding her in
- 20:39Speaker 1: his left hand and his like right face like touches her.
- 20:42Speaker 1: Right hand touches her face. Oh, he had a glove
- 20:44Speaker 1: on right I remember he had. Don't remember. It's the
- 20:47Speaker 1: new hairtuck for me. M it was. It was very sweet.
- 20:52Speaker 1: H What else did you see?
- 20:53Speaker 2: We have another horseless wagon moment? Oh no, I'm never
- 20:58Speaker 2: not going to notice it now.
- 21:00Speaker 1: I didn't notice. Is it Olivia and Sarah? Ooh it's
- 21:03Speaker 1: Rebecca and Sarah. Thank you?
- 21:05Speaker 2: Oh I just I would feel so stupid saying like
- 21:09Speaker 2: oh and to.
- 21:11Speaker 1: The pa to the machine bumping my my wagon, I
- 21:17Speaker 1: oh my gosh. If you are the PA who is
- 21:20Speaker 1: responsible for making the wagon look like it's bumping over
- 21:23Speaker 1: a road drawn by a horse, please email us fellow
- 21:26Speaker 1: a Girl's Gone Hallmark dot com. We'll keep you an odymous.
- 21:28Speaker 1: We need to know all the details. Please please, we're
- 21:31Speaker 1: begging you. We're begging you. The boarding house looks damn good.
- 21:36Speaker 1: The outside light blue. Huh did Rebecca do all that?
- 21:40Speaker 1: Like she put all new shingles on it. I don't
- 21:43Speaker 1: know if they were called shingles back then, but like
- 21:45Speaker 1: you know what I mean. The walls have molding on
- 21:48Speaker 1: the inside, decorative molding. I'm like, it looks better than
- 21:52Speaker 1: my house. What's the time frame here? No, I don't know,
- 21:55Speaker 1: but it looks great.
- 21:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 21:58Speaker 2: I was happy, like Sarah gotter. Like I know it's
- 22:00Speaker 2: not Sarah's rum, it's their shared room, but like she
- 22:02Speaker 2: was like so excited.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Gosh.
- 22:06Speaker 2: I recently posted on my personal Instagram that, uh, I'm
- 22:11Speaker 2: this old because do you remember those like plastic hand
- 22:14Speaker 2: puppet things you used to get from McDonald's happy Meals?
- 22:18Speaker 1: I don't, you don't. It was like we're all McDonald
- 22:21Speaker 1: had like one on each finger. No, it was like
- 22:24Speaker 1: a plastic glove.
- 22:26Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:27Speaker 1: And like I'm trying to figure out where you're going
- 22:29Speaker 1: with this. I'm just saying, like I was a child,
- 22:32Speaker 1: that I would get excited about that kind of stuff,
- 22:33Speaker 1: so I would probably like Sarah too, Like I got
- 22:35Speaker 1: a new room and like these are things that are
- 22:38Speaker 1: so exciting. Well, they've been sleep yes, of course. I
- 22:41Speaker 1: mean she hasn't had a room, they haven't had a space.
- 22:44Speaker 1: I would have been excited too, anybody, I think would
- 22:46Speaker 1: have in that moment. Yeah, where's Phoebe been. She's finally
- 22:49Speaker 1: back and she's on tom side and the battle for
- 22:50Speaker 1: the land grant. But I was just thinking at the
- 22:53Speaker 1: beginning of this episode, we haven't seen Phoebe the Bee
- 22:55Speaker 1: Lady in a long time, and here she is. Maybe
- 22:57Speaker 1: we'll get more of her. Maybe she's a she's a
- 22:59Speaker 1: season two season two conflictor. Finally, I mentioned it earlier,
- 23:03Speaker 1: the Hay mattresses. Once again, just roll me into the
- 23:06Speaker 1: stream and leave me for dead. There was a hole
- 23:09Speaker 1: in that too, did you see. I was like, hey, Jenny,
- 23:14Speaker 1: and I'll bring over the mattresses we made. Yeah, I
- 23:17Speaker 1: guess it makes sense they're not bringing in bed frames.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Although I did think the furniture was quite nice, and
- 23:21Speaker 1: I thought, where did she get all this money? Because
- 23:23Speaker 1: it was beautiful furniture that they brought in. Dad, I
- 23:25Speaker 1: don't know, but I like this.
- 23:26Speaker 2: She's established herself as like a woman of her word
- 23:29Speaker 2: and yeah, no big deal.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Yeah that was cool.
- 23:33Speaker 2: The scene where Jenny and Sarah bring in the hay
- 23:35Speaker 2: mattress and they're like fumbling it two children trying to
- 23:38Speaker 2: carry in it, and.
- 23:39Speaker 1: Tom runs over. He's like wood. It felt very improved.
- 23:43Speaker 1: You know, It's like, oh been airs, he's a dad too,
- 23:47Speaker 1: you know, you know, I just it was cute. I
- 23:50Speaker 1: actually really like this show.
- 23:53Speaker 2: I'm excited to see what season two is gonna hold
- 23:55Speaker 2: because I feel like I can see what's.
- 23:57Speaker 1: Coming with the next two episodes. Sure, sure, I think
- 24:00Speaker 1: we're gonna wrap up this fear of the in laws
- 24:03Speaker 1: and I'm gonna need Hattie to get a love interest.
- 24:06Speaker 1: Yeah right, she deserves a second chance out. No, maybe,
- 24:14Speaker 1: but no, it's gonna be how to bring in a
- 24:16Speaker 1: new care It's gonna be some Oh hold on, wait,
- 24:20Speaker 1: I know who it is. Let's workshop this. Yes, do
- 24:21Speaker 1: you remember the first episode we see like the leader
- 24:23Speaker 1: of the Constables, the Commander, Yes, yes, that guy yeah
- 24:28Speaker 1: with the blue eyes, who.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Is like an actual actor who's been on like I
- 24:31Speaker 2: don't know, Brilliant Minds or CSI or something like that.
- 24:34Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, let's do that. Oh. Oh, because Alexander's using
- 24:41Speaker 1: the boarding house as base camp and then like the
- 24:44Speaker 1: head guy is gonna come check on him and see
- 24:47Speaker 1: how we're going.
- 24:49Speaker 2: A little bunka chick, Yes on those Hey Mattresses baby
- 24:54Speaker 2: in scene.
- 24:57Speaker 1: Maybe not that way though, maybe not, but I think
- 25:00Speaker 1: he's coming. I think Amanda Cronstable's I really don't know
