- 2:57Speaker 1: Favorites got action network dot com. All right, let's run
- 3:02Speaker 1: through the games, starting with the losers. I know everyone
- 3:06Speaker 1: in the chat wants to come after us because we
- 3:09Speaker 1: have so been all about the Panthers. And we got
- 3:12Speaker 1: fucking kicked in the dick, and then we got stomped,
- 3:17Speaker 1: and then we got our head smashed in, and then
- 3:19Speaker 1: someone reached deep deep down our throats and pulled our
- 3:23Speaker 1: stomach out and then squeezed the juice is on our
- 3:28Speaker 1: face and we melted. That's how disgusting it was. And
- 3:33Speaker 1: it wasn't even as bad as what the Panthers did
- 3:36Speaker 1: on the field.
- 3:38Speaker 2: Shut up, shut up.
- 3:41Speaker 3: I felt like we were tired in the Panthers.
- 3:43Speaker 1: We believe the panthers bad luck with penalties and turnovers
- 3:45Speaker 1: could not continue. We believe the offensive line would be better,
- 3:49Speaker 1: receivers would be better, coaching would be better, Bryce Young
- 3:52Speaker 1: would be better. Simon, everything bad last season for the
- 3:56Speaker 1: Panthers was bad in this game.
- 4:00Speaker 4: Yeah, when I have family members that I barely talk
- 4:04Speaker 4: to that barely even watch football, texting me, how the
- 4:06Speaker 4: hell did you like this Panthers team? I always like,
- 4:09Speaker 4: Jesus Christ, this is not where we want to go.
- 4:12Speaker 4: I've had a couple of fans reach out to US
- 4:14Speaker 4: NASA US. Why don't we simply every week bet against
- 4:17Speaker 4: the Panthers and see if that works, because clearly would.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Have worked last year, and it's off to a hot
- 4:22Speaker 2: start this year.
- 4:24Speaker 4: I say not to overreact too much to one game,
- 4:27Speaker 4: but I think, I mean, you both agree Bryce Young
- 4:30Speaker 4: might be out of this league in a year like
- 4:32Speaker 4: this guy doesn't really fit the part.
- 4:34Speaker 2: So I know you have a little bit of rant
- 4:35Speaker 2: about bry S Young here, Chad, but I'm.
- 4:38Speaker 4: With the fans. I don't care that next week. We
- 4:40Speaker 4: both think there's value on the line. I'm not betting them.
- 4:43Speaker 4: I'm not giving them out on the show. So go ahead, Chaed.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Well look right now, Carolina, I think is what's the lion.
- 4:49Speaker 1: It's five and a half at home. They're plus five
- 4:52Speaker 1: and a half at home against the Chargers. Obviously you
- 4:55Speaker 1: look at that number and you have to say to yourself, yeah,
- 4:58Speaker 1: there's value on the Panthers.
- 5:00Speaker 3: We're not going to recommend that. We're not going to
- 5:02Speaker 3: say that.
- 5:04Speaker 2: No.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Last year, the Panthers averaged just four point one yards
- 5:09Speaker 1: per play. That's the worst mark for any team since
- 5:12Speaker 1: the Bengals in.
- 5:14Speaker 3: Two thousand and eight.
- 5:15Speaker 1: They had three point five yards per play today. Thank
- 5:18Speaker 1: you Evan for putting that in our chat here. Look,
- 5:24Speaker 1: we can go through the stats and believe all of
- 5:29Speaker 1: the things that I said are true about the Panthers.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Better coaching, better talent around Bryce Young, he's just awful.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Like that first look, first throw interception. And it's not
- 5:45Speaker 1: like there's no urgency. This is in when he's in
- 5:49Speaker 1: the pocket. You see guys in the pocket and they
- 5:52Speaker 1: have a sense that things are clapping collapsing around them.
- 5:55Speaker 1: They start to step up. They're sliding left, they're sliding right,
- 5:59Speaker 1: they look like the of trying to put themselves in
- 6:02Speaker 1: a position to make a play. He just stands there
- 6:05Speaker 1: until it's almost completely collapsed on him. And because he's
- 6:11Speaker 1: so tiny, it's almost impossible for him to make the
- 6:15Speaker 1: right play because he's in a position where he's going
- 6:17Speaker 1: to make a bad throw because he can't see anything.
- 6:19Speaker 3: I know.
- 6:19Speaker 1: It's like, I'm not trying to make fun of the guy. No,
- 6:23Speaker 1: he's just he's terrible at this.
- 6:25Speaker 4: And yeah, it's the same reason like I talked about.
- 6:28Speaker 4: You know last year right had a second round great
- 6:30Speaker 4: in the guys, if you want to be a first
- 6:32Speaker 4: round pick, there's always one thing this guy does great, right,
- 6:35Speaker 4: better than everyone else?
- 6:37Speaker 2: C J. Stroud.
- 6:38Speaker 4: The two best things will see the shot is his
- 6:39Speaker 4: pocket pocket awareness and his accuracy deep down the field.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Brayshung coming out. He was just good at everything, right,
- 6:46Speaker 2: Wasn't that what they told us? Jad?
- 6:47Speaker 4: And it's like, okay, but what's he great at? And
- 6:49Speaker 4: when you watch this stuff, he's not great at anything. Right.
- 6:51Speaker 4: He doesn't have great pocket awareness, hasn't great move in
- 6:54Speaker 4: the in the pocket, he doesn't have great arm talent. Right,
- 6:56Speaker 4: there was guys open today that he was missing.
- 6:58Speaker 2: So yeah, I.
- 7:01Speaker 4: Got burned bad today on them for a decent amount
- 7:04Speaker 4: of money, and I just I don't care. We can
- 7:08Speaker 4: keep it moving because I don't want to waste any
- 7:09Speaker 4: more time on them. I'm just totally discussing what I
- 7:12Speaker 4: saw today, and I'm hoping tomorrow next week. You know,
- 7:14Speaker 4: it's a new team that was just a one off, right,
- 7:16Speaker 4: that's the hope, because we actually bet on their futures.
- 7:20Speaker 2: But right now, zero confidence and Bryce Shawan.
- 7:23Speaker 3: Here's the problem. And I like to wallow in my misery.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Like I felt so sick all day that about this
- 7:30Speaker 1: game and about this bet and how much we touted
- 7:33Speaker 1: this team, and like it just I'm in agony about it.
- 7:36Speaker 1: So I just want to I just want to get
- 7:38Speaker 1: it all out, like they made the New Orleans Saints,
- 7:42Speaker 1: who we genuinely believe are not good, right, and their
- 7:46Speaker 1: defensive line is older, their offensive line isn't as good.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Derek Carr first long pass, sixty yards touchdown. Derek Carr
- 7:55Speaker 1: looked like a world beater today against this team. Dennis
- 7:59Speaker 1: Allen didn't have to be a bad coach because he
- 8:02Speaker 1: didn't have to coach.
- 8:03Speaker 3: They were up thirty to three at halftime.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Like the Panthers did everything that the Panthers did the
- 8:12Speaker 1: previous year. The game was not out of hand in
- 8:15Speaker 1: the first half, and they had a really smartly designed
- 8:19Speaker 1: play where they pitched it out. I think it was
- 8:22Speaker 1: Miles Sanders ran for a first down on a long
- 8:25Speaker 1: third down holding penalty comes back, they give the ball
- 8:30Speaker 1: back to the Saints they had I think they were
- 8:33Speaker 1: down twenty to nothing, So like not over right still
- 8:37Speaker 1: first half. If you believe in the team, we believe
- 8:39Speaker 1: in the coach. We think they've got some talent. It's
- 8:42Speaker 1: not over fumble on a reverse after they gain a
- 8:48Speaker 1: first down, Like every single time with this team, they're
- 8:54Speaker 1: just like none of them look like they know how
- 8:57Speaker 1: to play. It's like you go to Carolina and you're
- 8:59Speaker 1: in affected. You're infected with some kind of like panther virus.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Yeah, and that just when it starts going bad though,
- 9:07Speaker 2: it just goes terrible. Right, They're just terrible. They don't
- 9:09Speaker 2: have any real leadership. That's probably another issue for this team.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Well, speaking of terrible, we were on the Giants today
- 9:18Speaker 1: at plus one and a half. We almost pulled it
- 9:21Speaker 1: out of the contest today and we're going to get
- 9:25Speaker 1: to sort of why we didn't and games that we
- 9:28Speaker 1: were going to put in, all of which were winners today,
- 9:31Speaker 1: which is another thing that's making even more sick.
- 9:35Speaker 3: When did Sam Darnold become Sam? I am the man?
- 9:38Speaker 1: Because he started ten for ten, like I think he
- 9:42Speaker 1: had two incompletions of the whole game and threw for
- 9:45Speaker 1: more than two hundred yards he had. He started ten
- 9:49Speaker 1: for ten with one hundred and thirty six yards in
- 9:51Speaker 1: a touchdown. They had an eleven play, ninety nine yard
- 9:56Speaker 1: drive that ended with a fourth.
- 9:59Speaker 3: Down time touchdown throat. That's what all world qbs do.
- 10:05Speaker 1: Did we see anything here that justified the confidence we
- 10:10Speaker 1: had in the Giants? Did get did we get taken?
- 10:13Speaker 1: Did we fool ourselves? Do we misread?
- 10:16Speaker 3: Like? Are we off for too?
- 10:17Speaker 1: On the teams that we were convinced might have some value?
- 10:23Speaker 4: I would say Daniel Jones definitely looked rusty. I thought
- 10:26Speaker 4: he would be rusty, but I thought overall they'd played better.
- 10:29Speaker 2: But yeah, like you just nailed.
- 10:31Speaker 4: Sam Darnold started the game temper ten and he was
- 10:33Speaker 4: on fire. And then he did eventually turn back into
- 10:35Speaker 4: a pumpkin. He threw a pick and he just like
- 10:36Speaker 4: the second half, they didn't do anything like they were
- 10:39Speaker 4: incredible in the first half.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Once they got to pick six off.
- 10:42Speaker 4: Daniel Jones, it's like, all right, we don't need to
- 10:44Speaker 4: do a single thing now, we can just pack it
- 10:45Speaker 4: in because they knew that their defense was good enough
- 10:48Speaker 4: that they really needed to do much.
- 10:49Speaker 2: Right.
- 10:49Speaker 4: I think that was the most surprising part to me
- 10:52Speaker 4: is that, you know, Brian Flores had this defense play
- 10:55Speaker 4: amazing last year. I thought naturally they'd regress just because
- 10:59Speaker 4: they played so of obviously that's not great. Littin the test, right,
- 11:03Speaker 4: it's Daniel Jones and his first started for coming back
- 11:05Speaker 4: off a major injury, which we don't have talk. We'll
- 11:08Speaker 4: get to it, probably that Pittsburgh game. But like you
- 11:09Speaker 4: saw Kirk Cousins, right, he looked rusty. Like coming off
- 11:13Speaker 4: major injuries in your first start, you play rusty.
- 11:16Speaker 2: So yeah, I love the.
- 11:18Speaker 4: Under in this game, love the Giants, like I just
- 11:21Speaker 4: had a game scripted the other way. Honestly, I thought
- 11:24Speaker 4: that the Giants would be the ones playing well and
- 11:27Speaker 4: the Vikings would struggle.
- 11:29Speaker 2: And you know, when the game.
- 11:30Speaker 4: Started, I think the Vikings, you know, they got a
- 11:32Speaker 4: sack on Sam Darnold, then they got a fumble recovery,
- 11:36Speaker 4: didn't didn't score a touchdown, like kicked the field goal,
- 11:38Speaker 4: and it's just like in the back of mind, I'm
- 11:39Speaker 4: just thinking, yeah, like this is this is not a
- 11:41Speaker 4: good team, right, so.
- 11:44Speaker 2: Sucks.
- 11:45Speaker 4: Right we got caugh up there with the Giants, but
- 11:46Speaker 4: I'm not totally out on them. Still, it's just you know,
- 11:50Speaker 4: another team that's like, like you just said, we'd other
- 11:53Speaker 4: the other teams we talked about. I would have felt
- 11:55Speaker 4: way better having a lot of money on those quarterbacks
- 11:58Speaker 4: as a dog than I did at any time with
- 12:00Speaker 4: Daniel Jones. Like once it started, it's always our realization
- 12:04Speaker 4: of just like this was not the spot to go
- 12:06Speaker 4: heavy on Daniel Jones and this team, right, It's like
- 12:09Speaker 4: why did we not wait and see? But still you
- 12:13Speaker 4: know that that is a tough one where it's like
- 12:15Speaker 4: we played the number and we thought we had a
- 12:17Speaker 4: good number. That's what you said, Like we said we
- 12:19Speaker 4: didn't switch it out because we thought we had a
- 12:20Speaker 4: good number.
- 12:21Speaker 2: It was never a good number. That was just a
- 12:23Speaker 2: bad bet.
- 12:24Speaker 1: Now, Daniel Jones was what twenty two or forty two
- 12:27Speaker 1: I think for less than two hundred yards average and
- 12:30Speaker 1: two picks right and averaged four point four yards per completion,
- 12:36Speaker 1: two picks, including the pick six and a pick six
- 12:41Speaker 1: that he threw in sort of inside the twenty I think,
- 12:45Speaker 1: and then inside his own twenty. And then he also
- 12:48Speaker 1: threw an interception in the Vikings end zone when the
- 12:51Speaker 1: Giants were driving that sort of just ended it. I
- 12:56Speaker 1: do think this rage is, you know, an interesting coaching
- 13:00Speaker 1: question which we had had a lot during the offseason
- 13:04Speaker 1: because da Ball. Brian Dable, the Giants coach, and Kevin O'Connell,
- 13:07Speaker 1: the Vikings coach, have been connected since they started as
- 13:12Speaker 1: head coaches a couple of years ago. They both were
- 13:14Speaker 1: brilliant in one score games their rookie coaching years. They
- 13:18Speaker 1: got to the playoffs, they played each other. Brian Daball
- 13:21Speaker 1: wins Coach of the Year. Brian Dable goes to Minnesota
- 13:24Speaker 1: beats Kevin O'Connell and the Vikings on the road in
- 13:27Speaker 1: the playffs with Daniel Jones. Last year, there's regression from
- 13:31Speaker 1: the Giants because Daniel Jones isn't playing. The Vikings lose
- 13:35Speaker 1: their quarterback too, and they regressed significantly less. Now, granted
- 13:38Speaker 1: they had justin Jefferson to me this year, This game
- 13:41Speaker 1: was supposed to be a little bit about a coaching matchup.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Did Kevin O'Connell just completely out coach Brian Daball Or
- 13:50Speaker 1: did the Giants just have zero talent on their team,
- 13:54Speaker 1: especially in the defensive backfield.
- 13:57Speaker 4: You could say that, but it's also just you talked
- 14:00Speaker 4: about though Sam Donald came out hot. Man, It's just
- 14:03Speaker 4: I don't I'm not sure to read too much into
- 14:04Speaker 4: because it is week one. I said that to you,
- 14:07Speaker 4: though I told you the Giants have a horrible secondary.
- 14:10Speaker 4: It's not like the secondary of the Vikings is that
- 14:12Speaker 4: much better, right, and Brian floor has made it work.
- 14:14Speaker 4: So it's like, you know, I don't want to make
- 14:18Speaker 4: excuses for this Giants team, but they just they came
- 14:21Speaker 4: out flat. The Vikings did not like their offense was humming.
- 14:24Speaker 2: You just said it.
- 14:24Speaker 4: They went ninety nine yards. Like Sam Donald goes ninety
- 14:28Speaker 4: nine yards, you ain't winning your bet.
- 14:29Speaker 2: That's your dead.
- 14:30Speaker 4: So yeah, like you said, you eat some humble pie
- 14:35Speaker 4: here and get back after.
- 14:36Speaker 2: But two games are not gonna rereacting. I'll tell you
- 14:38Speaker 2: this much. The books respect this Vikings team.
- 14:42Speaker 4: I saw a couple of lines open, you know them
- 14:44Speaker 4: plus six them plus five and a half at the
- 14:47Speaker 4: forty nine ers next week check. So definitely an interesting,
- 14:50Speaker 4: interesting team that could be a little bit of a
- 14:52Speaker 4: sleeper team.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Well, I want to talk about that in a minute.
- 14:54Speaker 1: So you said it about the Giants defensive back.
- 15:00Speaker 3: Just one thing. I was watching this game and.
- 15:03Speaker 1: The Giants had stopped the Vikings on third down, you know,
- 15:06Speaker 1: from the one or whatever, and you're thinking, all right,
- 15:10Speaker 1: the Vikings are gonna do the smart thing.
- 15:11Speaker 3: They're going to go for the field goal.
- 15:12Speaker 1: And then they line up to go for it, and
- 15:13Speaker 1: you see Justin Jefferson isolated against the Giants' top cornerback, who,
- 15:19Speaker 1: by the way, might be the one hundred and fiftieth
- 15:22Speaker 1: rated quarterback according to profol, Like, honest to god, he's
- 15:26Speaker 1: he's not even on their board.
- 15:28Speaker 3: And it was such a actually.
- 15:29Speaker 2: A good coverage there. It was just a good ball.
- 15:31Speaker 1: Yeah, dude, it was such an easy pitch and catch,
- 15:34Speaker 1: Like why would the Giants leave that guy against a
- 15:37Speaker 1: guy who was having one of an historic career. It
- 15:41Speaker 1: just said everything to me about yeah, that's a dead bet,
- 15:44Speaker 1: dead bet. I tried to keep my composure. I've tried
- 15:47Speaker 1: to keep my cool. My kid had a bunch of
- 15:49Speaker 1: buddies over and like I want I didn't want to
- 15:53Speaker 1: be the dad who's like freaking out about his bets
- 15:56Speaker 1: in front of my son, and one was buddies, So like,
- 16:01Speaker 1: I kept my cool the whole time. We had a
- 16:03Speaker 1: couple of TVs going. We had the Bears game going.
- 16:05Speaker 1: We're going to talk about the Bears, so that could
- 16:07Speaker 1: occupy me. I will say when we got to the
- 16:12Speaker 1: end of the Colts game, I was getting a little
- 16:14Speaker 1: bit excited about it because this one was just a
- 16:17Speaker 1: fun sweat and it kind of played out exactly like
- 16:19Speaker 1: we thought it would play out. We had the Colts
- 16:21Speaker 1: plus two and a half in the contest. CJ was amazing.
- 16:26Speaker 1: He threw it for a first down on fourth down
- 16:29Speaker 1: from his knees in the first quarter. Had just miraculous
- 16:33Speaker 1: plays at one point, like he threw across the field
- 16:37Speaker 1: across his body on a third down, like but going
- 16:40Speaker 1: both ways.
- 16:41Speaker 3: This was an amazing game, amazing game.
- 16:44Speaker 4: Amazing game, and nothing was breaking right for us in
- 16:48Speaker 4: any way. And so now we still got the cover,
- 16:51Speaker 4: which rarely works out for you when games just aren't
- 16:54Speaker 4: breaking away.
- 16:54Speaker 1: I mean we literally that says something though that says
- 16:57Speaker 1: something to me about both teams, which we're going.
- 16:59Speaker 3: To talk about.
- 17:00Speaker 4: Yeah, I think it says a lot about Anthony Richardson. Honestly,
- 17:02Speaker 4: like this kid, we all see it. The talent is
- 17:07Speaker 4: incredible and it is just so raw, Like it's so raw.
- 17:13Speaker 2: You know, he.
- 17:15Speaker 4: Lost that game, like he kept him in it, but
- 17:17Speaker 4: end of the day, he is the reason they lost.
- 17:19Speaker 4: Like Shane Styken call it an amazing game. Like there
- 17:22Speaker 4: was multiple times he had wide open guys and then
- 17:25Speaker 4: he didn't have open guys and he went for those
- 17:27Speaker 4: guys anyway and it worked out for him.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Like he really was just so up and down in
- 17:32Speaker 2: that game. But yeah, that.
- 17:35Speaker 4: Missing the open touchdown and throwing the pick right after
- 17:39Speaker 4: usually that's you know, a fourteen point at least ten
- 17:41Speaker 4: point swing in some ways, right, and they come down
- 17:46Speaker 4: And I love Dumiko Ryans. That's why they're a team
- 17:48Speaker 4: I was scared of coming to this year. He don't care,
- 17:52Speaker 4: like he knows the deal. He's not messing around, so
- 17:55Speaker 4: like you know, they're in fourth and goal. I mean,
- 17:59Speaker 4: I can't remember it might be five percent of the
- 18:02Speaker 4: time in my life I've ever seen coaches go for
- 18:04Speaker 4: it in that spot right, you kick the field goal,
- 18:06Speaker 4: you're up five.
- 18:06Speaker 1: You're talking about you're talking about the end of the game.
- 18:08Speaker 1: They're up the very one of the game thing, and
- 18:10Speaker 1: it's late in the fourth quarter. They get stopped on
- 18:12Speaker 1: fourth down and like on Thursday, Strowd, such a gamer.
- 18:17Speaker 1: They go for it, and we needed them to go
- 18:19Speaker 1: for it, like the Gambler's math.
- 18:22Speaker 3: Play that out.
- 18:23Speaker 1: It's twenty two to nothing, they kick the field goal,
- 18:25Speaker 1: it's twenty five nothing like we don't like the The
- 18:32Speaker 1: only option then for the Colts is to score a
- 18:34Speaker 1: touchdown because the field goal won't be enough and they
- 18:36Speaker 1: won't have enough time. But if they don't get the touchdown,
- 18:39Speaker 1: then they lose by five. And it just feels you
- 18:43Speaker 1: feel even sicker because you know you came within a
- 18:45Speaker 1: player or two, you know, versus twenty nine.
- 18:48Speaker 2: So it's funny your brand works.
- 18:49Speaker 4: There were on the other way where I wanted them
- 18:50Speaker 4: to go for that. I was like, they stopped it.
- 18:52Speaker 2: I did too.
- 18:53Speaker 4: All the momentum is all on the Colts and they
- 18:56Speaker 4: will win this game by a field goal. They'll drive
- 18:58Speaker 4: the field, they'll kick a field goal here, they'll win this.
- 19:00Speaker 4: So I was happy they went I for it. I mean,
- 19:03Speaker 4: shame on me. They called the perfect play. Stephan Diggs
- 19:05Speaker 4: was going against air. He was wide open in that
- 19:07Speaker 4: corner for that touchdown like that. That's a great, great
- 19:10Speaker 4: play by a great player. So yeah, Houston, everything we
- 19:15Speaker 4: talked about coming to the season, they're they're living up
- 19:17Speaker 4: to it.
- 19:18Speaker 2: Right.
- 19:18Speaker 4: All the pieces they added, Joe Mix and Stefan Diggs,
- 19:21Speaker 4: they all showed up in a big way. We had
- 19:23Speaker 4: questions coming to hear about their defense. None was answered, right.
- 19:26Speaker 4: That was such a weird game where it's like, did they.
- 19:30Speaker 2: Do okay against the run? Sure? Do they have issues
- 19:32Speaker 2: still in the secondary? Yeah, clearly. I mean they couldn't
- 19:35Speaker 2: stop the deep ball.
- 19:36Speaker 4: So Houston, they're exciting, But I think I still think
- 19:41Speaker 4: there's a reason we had a little bit of doubt
- 19:42Speaker 4: of them coming to the year. But I think we
- 19:44Speaker 4: both agree, right, Yeah, they're they're the best in this
- 19:46Speaker 4: division and that was apparent today, right. They just they
- 19:50Speaker 4: looked like a more mature, more complete team, and their
- 19:53Speaker 4: coach's confidence in them is incredible. Like Damiko Rans we
- 19:56Speaker 4: already talked about. It's just I love those type of
- 19:59Speaker 4: things because that breed's confidence for that team going forward,
- 20:02Speaker 4: So huge, huge, huge divisional win for Houston and the Colts.
- 20:06Speaker 4: Now going next week to Green Bay, that's become a
- 20:09Speaker 4: must win game, like you can't start the year zero
- 20:11Speaker 4: and two for the Colts.
- 20:12Speaker 2: So yeah, pretty wild that game.
- 20:15Speaker 4: How so many Domino pieces fell in that game to
- 20:18Speaker 4: set up the rest of the season.
- 20:19Speaker 1: Well, look, you said this about Daniel Jones, the same
- 20:22Speaker 1: as true for Bryce Young. It's the opposite for Anthony Richardson.
- 20:27Speaker 1: You never feel with Anthony Richardson like you're out of
- 20:30Speaker 1: the game the way you do with someone like Daniel
- 20:33Speaker 1: Jones or Bryce Young. And you mentioned he missed a
- 20:39Speaker 1: wide open touchdown, He had a throw to Oudoni Mitchell
- 20:42Speaker 1: that went over his head and then the pick. He
- 20:46Speaker 1: did the same thing to Mitchell later.
- 20:48Speaker 3: In the game.
- 20:49Speaker 1: Yeah, and follows it up with a sixty yard bomb
- 20:53Speaker 1: in the double coverage that gets them back in the game.
- 20:58Speaker 1: And then he up running four on fourth down, carrying
- 21:02Speaker 1: guys into the goal line, backing in full on, backwards walk,
- 21:08Speaker 1: using the glutes, using the hammies. That stuff is paying off,
- 21:12Speaker 1: and he gets into the end zone and then they
- 21:15Speaker 1: kick the extra point.
- 21:16Speaker 3: They end up losing twenty nine to twenty seven. We
- 21:18Speaker 3: get the cover.
- 21:21Speaker 1: So I never like we're gonna want to continue to
- 21:24Speaker 1: bet Anthony Richardson and Shane Steichen because of the plays
- 21:27Speaker 1: that he calls all season long, which is always the
- 21:29Speaker 1: more they lose, the more value we're going to think
- 21:31Speaker 1: there is on the Indianapolis Cults.
- 21:34Speaker 3: Here's the thing about CJ. Stroup. They needed him to
- 21:39Speaker 3: make a throw.
- 21:41Speaker 1: They had like a third down and eleven or something
- 21:45Speaker 1: just after the two minute warning. They convert that play,
- 21:49Speaker 1: they win the game.
- 21:51Speaker 3: They don't.
- 21:52Speaker 1: They got a punt, Indy's got an opportunity to run
- 21:54Speaker 1: to go down the field and kick a field goal.
- 21:57Speaker 1: He rose a dot that a guy catches, gets his
- 22:02Speaker 1: knee down.
- 22:03Speaker 4: Nico Collins ride one hundred and seventeen yards. Incredible game.
- 22:07Speaker 3: Dude, Like c J. Stroud is just different.
- 22:10Speaker 1: He's just different. He started the game eight for nine.
- 22:15Speaker 1: That changes the calculus on everything.
- 22:17Speaker 3: No wonder. The Texans are sixteen to one.
- 22:19Speaker 1: No wonder. I wanted to bet them in all my
- 22:21Speaker 1: Super Bowl matchups because he can. He can, he can
- 22:25Speaker 1: cover up any weaknesses that the defense has, I mean.
- 22:29Speaker 2: Especially for him.
- 22:30Speaker 4: That was a bad game by him, honestly, by even
- 22:31Speaker 4: his own standors, like they're taking threes, and he kept
- 22:34Speaker 4: saying that, like, we can't keep taking these threes again.
- 22:37Speaker 4: That's why I think Demiico Ryans into that game went
- 22:38Speaker 4: for that because he was just like, I'm not kicking
- 22:40Speaker 4: another field goal and the inside the red zone, we're
- 22:42Speaker 4: going for it here.
- 22:43Speaker 1: So look, also had two picks overturned right one one
- 22:46Speaker 1: was ruled in.
- 22:47Speaker 4: Again, that's what I kept thinking, we weren't going to
- 22:49Speaker 4: get a chat, like it just kept not going our way,
- 22:51Speaker 4: Like this guy picks it, incredible pick and it's like nope,
- 22:54Speaker 4: your heel actually just touched out, and it's like, oh
- 22:56Speaker 4: my god, I can't get.
- 22:57Speaker 1: Then another one, the guy picked him off in the
- 22:59Speaker 1: red zone and they called it back because they called
- 23:01Speaker 1: the penalty on them. We got So that's why we're
- 23:03Speaker 1: one and two. We got the Colts, right, dreadful with
- 23:06Speaker 1: the Panthers and the Giants. We're going to move on
- 23:09Speaker 1: in the next twenty four hours. We're going to start
- 23:11Speaker 1: getting excited about next week.
- 23:12Speaker 2: Yeah, typical.
- 23:13Speaker 4: That was the only two games we got wrong on
- 23:14Speaker 4: the one pm slate, so that it was making.
- 23:17Speaker 1: Me sick watching these things. Yeah, we got two games remaining.
- 23:20Speaker 1: We got the Lions minus three and a half. That
- 23:22Speaker 1: line's out to five, so we feel good about the
- 23:23Speaker 1: number Jets we got it.
- 23:25Speaker 4: That better worked out because that was the reason we
- 23:26Speaker 4: did not switch out the Giants, because we wanted to
- 23:28Speaker 4: keep that three and a half right.
- 23:29Speaker 1: So what happened was this morning, Simon and I were
- 23:32Speaker 1: going over the slate and one of the games like
- 23:36Speaker 1: really the game that we had talked about that we
- 23:38Speaker 1: kept looking at and like, why aren't we talking more
- 23:40Speaker 1: about this game with Jags at three and a half.
- 23:43Speaker 1: So obviously we did bet that game. We didn't take
- 23:46Speaker 1: it out because we liked the Lions at three and
- 23:48Speaker 1: a half. The value was there and a lot of
- 23:51Speaker 1: the lines to change, like if we if we changed
- 23:54Speaker 1: up our picks, we would have had to take the
- 23:57Speaker 1: lines at four and a half, and we didn't want
- 23:59Speaker 1: to lose that because we liked it so much. So
- 24:01Speaker 1: it's tough, but the Jags, like, the Jags were so
- 24:05Speaker 1: much better and then Travis atn bundles the ball at
- 24:09Speaker 1: the two yard Linde when they're going up twenty four
- 24:11Speaker 1: to seven, they kind of lost their way.
- 24:13Speaker 3: They only had one pass after that.
- 24:15Speaker 1: They like Trevor Lawrence was brilliant in the first half,
- 24:18Speaker 1: ended up with less than two hundred yards and twelve completions.
- 24:22Speaker 1: Doug Peterson went forward in his own like thirty yard
- 24:24Speaker 1: line on fourth down with a lot of time left, Like,
- 24:27Speaker 1: what happened here?
- 24:29Speaker 3: This? They should have dominated this game.
- 24:32Speaker 2: It's the Miami heat.
- 24:33Speaker 4: They put you in the sun when they're in the
- 24:35Speaker 4: shade and they cook you, and whatever happened, I have
- 24:39Speaker 4: to blame the heat.
- 24:40Speaker 2: The man lost his mind. Doug Pierson lost his mind.
- 24:42Speaker 4: Trevor Lawrence was really having a good game, honestly, really
- 24:47Speaker 4: had in that first half.
- 24:48Speaker 1: Dude, when he was in that first half, I'm like,
- 24:51Speaker 1: Trevor Lawrence, twenty two to one those passing yard.
- 24:54Speaker 3: We got this locked.
- 24:56Speaker 2: So that's what happened.
- 24:58Speaker 4: No, I just like it just it was all smooth,
- 25:01Speaker 4: and like you said, they got away from their identity
- 25:03Speaker 4: in the second half, and it's like I went back
- 25:06Speaker 4: and watched. I mean, I guess you could say they
- 25:09Speaker 4: were getting a lot more pressure in the second half Miami,
- 25:11Speaker 4: and maybe that's why, you know, Douglas Trunk counter that
- 25:14Speaker 4: was running the ball more. But no, that's that's a
- 25:18Speaker 4: classic case of they're just that's a bad team that
- 25:21Speaker 4: lost a bad game, right, Like if they if they
- 25:24Speaker 4: had kind of been a different team this year, that's
- 25:26Speaker 4: kind of game you need to close out and win.
- 25:28Speaker 2: Right, that's a playoff team.
- 25:29Speaker 4: From last year in Miami. Yeah, you had them on
- 25:31Speaker 4: the ropes the whole game.
- 25:32Speaker 2: You're dominating.
- 25:33Speaker 4: Like you said, you fumbled out of the back of
- 25:34Speaker 4: the end zone. Okay, that's a turning point. They come
- 25:37Speaker 4: down the field, tire kill whoever it was, scored a touchdown.
- 25:40Speaker 4: Then you bounce back right. Then you come back out
- 25:41Speaker 4: there and you drive the field and get at least
- 25:43Speaker 4: a field goal there like you said, nothing Like they've
- 25:46Speaker 4: threed and now punted the rest.
- 25:48Speaker 2: Of the game.
- 25:48Speaker 4: And you know, Miami didn't play that well, but they
- 25:51Speaker 4: took advantage and they found a way to win. And
- 25:53Speaker 4: that's and then of the day. That's what makes great
- 25:55Speaker 4: teams for football. Like if you just somehow can find
- 25:58Speaker 4: a way to win on your worst day, you're a
- 26:00Speaker 4: really good team. So yeah, hats off to Miami and
- 26:04Speaker 4: just the coaching staff, like they kept their guys in it.
- 26:07Speaker 4: Tua never broke right. He was struggling as well. He
- 26:10Speaker 4: was having a bad game game, stuck with it, like
- 26:13Speaker 4: he was missing open guys too, and he stuck with him.
- 26:15Speaker 4: In the fourth quarter, he was on point, like making
- 26:18Speaker 4: big throws. And you know, Devon a Chan like another
- 26:22Speaker 4: guy that you know last year couldn't stay healthy, right,
- 26:25Speaker 4: but everyone knows a talent level. He really showed up
- 26:28Speaker 4: in that second half as well. I mean he was
- 26:30Speaker 4: running the ball so well. So huge game from Miami,
- 26:33Speaker 4: But I mean you were pissed because we knew that
- 26:36Speaker 4: was a good cover number. That was a good number
- 26:38Speaker 4: three and a half on two what we viewed as
- 26:39Speaker 4: equally even teams, and that number was never in doubt, right,
- 26:44Speaker 4: whatever it was, I think it was a six yard
- 26:45Speaker 4: field goal to win it by Miami. So yeah, could
- 26:49Speaker 4: just anyone that took the three and a half.
- 26:51Speaker 1: Those games, the Jags and the Colts basically ended back
- 26:54Speaker 1: to back on red zone. They were the two box
- 26:57Speaker 1: at the end, and I'm like, I need I need
- 27:01Speaker 1: both of these games, not just for the contest, but
- 27:03Speaker 1: just for my slate of bets today. I need them
- 27:06Speaker 1: for my lungs. The only thing I can take solace
- 27:09Speaker 1: in is that I only went half a unit on
- 27:14Speaker 1: the Giants because I just like at the end of the.
- 27:16Speaker 2: Day, I'm jealous.
- 27:18Speaker 3: I just I just believing and like, look, but that's
- 27:22Speaker 3: the worst.
- 27:22Speaker 4: Thing too, that like we said though, like I'm minute
- 27:24Speaker 4: in I was, even though they they were up three,
- 27:26Speaker 4: I just regretted it. I was like, why am I
- 27:28Speaker 4: so heavy on Daniel Jones? So you made the right
- 27:31Speaker 4: move there. But we're gonna Bears game. We're gonna get
- 27:35Speaker 4: to this Bears game or what talk about.
- 27:36Speaker 1: I just want to say one thing about the Steelers.
- 27:38Speaker 1: I'm going to give you your flat hours for the Bears. Uh,
- 27:42Speaker 1: shame on us. On Tuesday, We're like, we like the
- 27:47Speaker 1: Jags and we like the Steelers. Why aren't we doing
- 27:50Speaker 1: the Jags and the Steelers? And then all week we
- 27:52Speaker 1: talked about this is a Mike Tomlin makes it ugly,
- 27:56Speaker 1: wins is an underdog game. This is what he has
- 27:59Speaker 1: done for sixteen seventeen years. He is the best coach
- 28:04Speaker 1: against the spread as a dog. He is the best
- 28:06Speaker 1: coach outright as a dog in the past twenty years,
- 28:11Speaker 1: better than Belichick, better than Sean Payton, better than Mike Vrabel,
- 28:15Speaker 1: better than all the coaches who have dominated for betters.
- 28:18Speaker 2: Let the greatest of all time. Look at your work.
- 28:20Speaker 1: We suck and when TJ Will plays, they're like that
- 28:26Speaker 1: changes the calculus for everything. Yeah, we are terrible people,
- 28:31Speaker 1: non strategic, stupid, stubborn, blinded by our own biases. We
- 28:38Speaker 1: deserve to be one and two right now because we
- 28:42Speaker 1: could be three and m.
- 28:44Speaker 4: And I think, honestly, what got me Chad was just
- 28:47Speaker 4: again I overacted too much to It was the fact
- 28:50Speaker 4: that it was unknown who the quarterback was going to be,
- 28:52Speaker 4: and I had questions about their offensive line, and my
- 28:54Speaker 4: thinking was, well, I don't know how they're going to
- 28:57Speaker 4: keep up with Atlanta where we nailed on Tuesday. We said,
- 29:00Speaker 4: this is Kirk cousins first start going against the top
- 29:02Speaker 4: five defense, Like this was a nightmare. Snaiy to put
- 29:06Speaker 4: this guy in and he failed. Like that's what the
- 29:09Speaker 4: worst part was. We capted it perfectly. It was like,
- 29:11Speaker 4: did it.
- 29:11Speaker 2: Matter that the offensive line's bad on Pittsburgh and that
- 29:14Speaker 2: it was justin field?
- 29:16Speaker 4: No, I mean they can kick five field goals or
- 29:19Speaker 4: six field goals and all work out for him, just
- 29:21Speaker 4: because that defense is so incredibly talented. So that was
- 29:24Speaker 4: as Mike Tomlin as it can get, right.
- 29:27Speaker 5: I probably do have a talent for understanding people, But
- 29:30Speaker 5: is it a talent is not just listening when they talking?
- 29:34Speaker 5: For real coaches like the think we listen, coaches don't listen.
- 29:37Speaker 5: They wait for dude's mouse to stop moving.
- 29:40Speaker 4: All hard all grit offense was terrible. I mean it
- 29:44Speaker 4: really was at times just horrible. But you know, with
- 29:48Speaker 4: Fields they can run that kind of spread option, right,
- 29:50Speaker 4: they can run in and spread you out, and you
- 29:52Speaker 4: know it does not score touchdowns, but at least move
- 29:55Speaker 4: the ball where Atlanta could not move the ball, and
- 29:56Speaker 4: when they would JJ would pop up and make a
- 29:59Speaker 4: huge playing kind of flipped the game.
- 30:01Speaker 2: So yeah, brutal, brutal leave them that went.
- 30:03Speaker 4: Off, especially because that's like a game we nailed talking
- 30:06Speaker 4: about and just a game we always taken that spot.
- 30:09Speaker 4: But I think it's just tough where it's like you
- 30:12Speaker 4: hear so much noise, I'm here so much from the
- 30:14Speaker 4: peanut gallery that doesn't make you a question you're thinking
- 30:16Speaker 4: of It was like, you know, they're right, their offensive
- 30:18Speaker 4: line is bad and justin fields does.
- 30:20Speaker 2: Burn us in these kind of spots.
- 30:21Speaker 4: And that number did go from two and a half
- 30:24Speaker 4: to closing at four and a half by kickoff, So Yeah,
- 30:27Speaker 4: some professionals winning heavy on Atlanta and they clearly got
- 30:31Speaker 4: burned by it. But yeah, lesson learn like we we
- 30:34Speaker 4: like Pittsburgh in those kind of spots. That was one
- 30:37Speaker 4: of their easier games we'll have all season matchup wise,
- 30:40Speaker 4: and we definitely missed on it.
- 30:42Speaker 1: Yeah, and don't we have listened to the Peanut Gallery
- 30:44Speaker 1: and the Panthers and the Giants because I would have
- 30:46Speaker 1: rather have listened to them on Matt and.
- 30:48Speaker 4: Definitely the Giants Vikings one that was the toughest. Yeah,
- 30:52Speaker 4: the Peanut Gallery was.
- 30:52Speaker 2: Heavy on the Vikings and I was just like, Nah,
- 30:54Speaker 2: you don't know, you don't.
- 30:56Speaker 1: Know, somebody knows. Oh, the irony. Everyone loves the Ravens.
- 31:01Speaker 1: Everyone loves the Bengals. Everyone's enamored with the Browns defense
- 31:05Speaker 1: that just gave up a million points to Dak Prescott,
- 31:09Speaker 1: the highest paid quarterback ever. Now the only team to
- 31:12Speaker 1: win in the AFC North this week. Pittsburgh Steelers, congrats guys,
- 31:19Speaker 1: more one Mike Tomlin score one for going over their
- 31:24Speaker 1: wind total. Let's see if they can keep the streak alive.
- 31:28Speaker 1: I do want to there's a couple things we gotta say.
- 31:30Speaker 1: The Bears.
- 31:31Speaker 3: You nailed it like flowers for you.
- 31:35Speaker 1: I couldn't get myself there, and for the first half
- 31:38Speaker 1: it looked like I was one hundred percent right. But
- 31:40Speaker 1: I very specifically did not text you it's not going
- 31:44Speaker 1: to say anything because it's a long game.
- 31:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:46Speaker 1: I literally had no joke, forty five text messages on
- 31:53Speaker 1: my Bears text chain from the first half, which I
- 31:56Speaker 1: didn't answer because like, I'm taking notes on the games,
- 31:59Speaker 1: and I'm freaking out of at our bets and I'm
- 32:00Speaker 1: trying to keep my cool with all these people in
- 32:02Speaker 1: my house, Like I just can't engage. Caleb Williams already
- 32:08Speaker 1: looked broken, like in the second half he was. It
- 32:13Speaker 1: looked like he was literally pushing the ball instead of
- 32:15Speaker 1: throwing it. He was leaving the pocket the second his
- 32:18Speaker 1: first read wasn't there.
- 32:19Speaker 4: Yeah, like Keen Allen's dropping wide open touchdowns.
- 32:25Speaker 3: Dropping passes.
- 32:26Speaker 1: The good news is he had a Hall of Fame
- 32:29Speaker 1: kneel down, and really, I don't think any bare quarterback
- 32:32Speaker 1: has ever looked better kneeling down than Caleb Williams.
- 32:34Speaker 3: But this was not a win to be proud of.
- 32:40Speaker 4: I would say it is. I mean, a win's a win.
- 32:43Speaker 4: I don't care how you get it, but to me,
- 32:46Speaker 4: it was good man. You got to see him get
- 32:48Speaker 4: humbled and he realized, like the scrambling back ten yards
- 32:52Speaker 4: is all funn and que when it works out. When
- 32:54Speaker 4: it doesn't work out and you lose twenty yards and
- 32:56Speaker 4: take your team out of field goal position, and.
- 32:58Speaker 2: Chicago's letting you know you're an idiot. He needs that.
- 33:01Speaker 4: Like this kid, he's had a little bit too good
- 33:04Speaker 4: in his life, right, and this is this is gonna
- 33:06Speaker 4: be a good year for Caleb Blims. This is the
- 33:08Speaker 4: reason though, that I, me and you were laughing about
- 33:10Speaker 4: their win total over nine and a half and just
- 33:13Speaker 4: saw the hyper getting you know, Nick Wright's picking them
- 33:16Speaker 4: to go to the super Bowl. It's just like you're
- 33:18Speaker 4: a rookie. There's a reason we were so enamored with CJ. Right,
- 33:22Speaker 4: Like CJ going twenty three touches on five picks. You
- 33:26Speaker 4: don't see that kind of composure from rookies. You see
- 33:28Speaker 4: what we saw today from all the rookies right struggling.
- 33:31Speaker 4: Like that's another thing I was pissed about. It is
- 33:34Speaker 4: I told you whatever that was two weeks ago. I'm like,
- 33:36Speaker 4: we should fade these rookies on the road here just
- 33:40Speaker 4: because it's it is so tough, right in your first
- 33:42Speaker 4: start on the road. I mean Williams showed that at home,
- 33:45Speaker 4: how tough it is, right when the fans turned on
- 33:46Speaker 4: him a little bit that first half. I can't imagine
- 33:50Speaker 4: what the locker room was like for the bearers, right,
- 33:52Speaker 4: I mean it's seventeen nothing or whatever. It was seventeen three.
- 33:56Speaker 4: But when I made the bet, my whole point was
- 33:59Speaker 4: I just thought ten See was bad and I thought
- 34:01Speaker 4: will Levis was bad. And it took a while to
- 34:03Speaker 4: get there, Chad, right, it took a little bit for
- 34:06Speaker 4: him to.
- 34:06Speaker 3: You know what. He was bad. He got bad.
- 34:08Speaker 2: He was bad.
- 34:09Speaker 4: It's just like when it's third and seven, you got
- 34:12Speaker 4: no hope with will Levis, Like there's a couple of
- 34:15Speaker 4: kbs like that, and you know, I never thought the
- 34:19Speaker 4: number would get there, right, just because there were in
- 34:21Speaker 4: such a hole. And it was like, well, if they
- 34:22Speaker 4: get up to twenty one seventeen, they can cover the
- 34:25Speaker 4: four and I can get my three and a half.
- 34:27Speaker 4: Check can get his four and a half. No, No,
- 34:29Speaker 4: will Levis didn't even better. He threw a pick six.
- 34:33Speaker 4: I think Stucky had the tweet. It was like amazing.
- 34:35Speaker 4: It was basically, how often does the team come back
- 34:39Speaker 4: from down seventeen to win a game with zero offensive touchdowns?
- 34:42Speaker 2: I don't know if that's ever happened before. You either astonishing,
- 34:46Speaker 2: it's astonishing.
- 34:47Speaker 4: So, like you said, Chad, that's good teams win those
- 34:51Speaker 4: kind of games. And I know it's hard for you
- 34:54Speaker 4: as a Chicagoan because you've just been through the fucking ringer,
- 34:58Speaker 4: but I'd be positive, like this is exciting going forward
- 35:02Speaker 4: because they do have a lot to build on, a
- 35:04Speaker 4: work on, and that to me is like that was
- 35:06Speaker 4: one of the worst offensive performances we'll see this season.
- 35:08Speaker 2: I think from Caleb Williams, I think he'll get better.
- 35:11Speaker 2: That was just he said he doesn't get nervous. Dude,
- 35:14Speaker 2: you're human.
- 35:14Speaker 4: You clearly get nervous, because he was full of jitter's
- 35:17Speaker 4: not game and happy feet. So yeah, I don't know
- 35:19Speaker 4: if we'll bet them next week because it's it's under
- 35:23Speaker 4: a touchdown right now in Houston at home on Monday
- 35:25Speaker 4: night against the Bear. So I will be honest with
- 35:29Speaker 4: you chat right now. I did throw a little bit
- 35:30Speaker 4: on Houston right now while it's under seven, just because
- 35:32Speaker 4: I do think that number is gonna go up.
- 35:34Speaker 1: All right, well let's talk about him. So just a reminder,
- 35:37Speaker 1: we've got the Lions tonight. We're not gonna spend too
- 35:39Speaker 1: much time on the Lions because we've talked about him
- 35:41Speaker 1: so much.
- 35:41Speaker 4: But uh, don't minus five though, that feels like that's
- 35:44Speaker 4: totally gone value wise.
- 35:46Speaker 3: Yeah, we were on the Lions at three and a half.
- 35:48Speaker 3: We're on the line.
- 35:49Speaker 4: I'm taking them four and a half too, But at
- 35:50Speaker 4: four and a half, it's just like, come on the survivor.
- 35:53Speaker 3: We had the Bengals. That's a bummer.
- 35:55Speaker 1: We also had the Seahawks, so we split in sort
- 35:58Speaker 1: of the pools that we're in.
- 36:00Speaker 3: Still alive, We'll keep talking about.
- 36:01Speaker 2: Its up to five and a half now. Lines at
- 36:03Speaker 2: bet three six.
- 36:04Speaker 4: Five, Jesus, jeez, jesus over unders fifty three, I mean,
- 36:10Speaker 4: throw if you missed everything, you haven't bet anything in
- 36:13Speaker 4: this game.
- 36:13Speaker 2: Throw it on the end here that that's a really
- 36:15Speaker 2: high number.
- 36:17Speaker 3: Nick Giffin likes the under on the first half of
- 36:19Speaker 3: corning to wa.
- 36:20Speaker 2: Do that thing. Yeah, goo roll with Nick and his
- 36:21Speaker 2: luck rankings.
- 36:22Speaker 1: I like that couple of Week two lines that I
- 36:24Speaker 1: just want to get to before we get out of here.
- 36:26Speaker 1: You just mentioned Houston five and a half, right, six
- 36:29Speaker 1: and a half. It's up to six and a half
- 36:31Speaker 1: over the Bears.
- 36:32Speaker 2: It could be a lesser book. Our sponsor's book is
- 36:34Speaker 2: six and a half.
- 36:36Speaker 1: I just saw Buffalo Miami. Buffalo opened is a one
- 36:40Speaker 1: point underdog at Miami. That line I just saw move
- 36:44Speaker 1: to one and a half. I don't know what you're
- 36:45Speaker 1: seeing on Beth three six five right now.
- 36:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean Buffalo's defense might be absolutely dog shit.
- 36:52Speaker 2: So I get I get why the professionals are coming
- 36:55Speaker 2: to Miami and then they're at home in a short week.
- 36:58Speaker 2: But yeah, we'll wait for that one to talk wu'sday.
- 37:00Speaker 1: A couple of games that interested me. I know it's
- 37:03Speaker 1: terrible to say this. Cincinnati they're plus six. Obviously we
- 37:12Speaker 1: got to wait and see what happens. Well, we know
- 37:14Speaker 1: what's going to happen. It's Cincinnati plus six. For a second,
- 37:17Speaker 1: I forgot there. We're playing the Chiefs and not the Niners.
- 37:20Speaker 1: Cincinnati plus six, like.
- 37:24Speaker 2: Probably know, my Simon says, bet I already took the
- 37:26Speaker 2: six and a half. It's down to six. I'll take
- 37:28Speaker 2: the six as well.
- 37:29Speaker 1: It's like like that line could go up over the
- 37:33Speaker 1: course of the week with all the I don't think.
- 37:34Speaker 4: I don't know if they're pros al out at chet
- 37:36Speaker 4: because this is already insane. It was three and a
- 37:38Speaker 4: half before games kicked off today. Are the Bengals three
- 37:42Speaker 4: points worse than they were twelve hours ago?
- 37:46Speaker 3: I don't.
- 37:47Speaker 2: Yeah, it's just we talk all the time.
- 37:49Speaker 4: It's over overaction. The week one like that, that game,
- 37:53Speaker 4: everything went wrong. They're about to score the go ahead touchdown,
- 37:56Speaker 4: the guy fumbles into the end zone, right, they get
- 37:59Speaker 4: a kick, the guy who muffs the punt, Like, it's
- 38:02Speaker 4: just I think the commentator said they only had two
- 38:05Speaker 4: fumbles all of last season.
- 38:06Speaker 2: They had two in that game.
- 38:08Speaker 3: Just half.
- 38:09Speaker 4: Yeah, so that's just a game from hell. So it's
- 38:11Speaker 4: like me and Chad, I know, it's gross pool. You
- 38:14Speaker 4: have to buy a loan in these scenarios. So we
- 38:16Speaker 4: we love Mahomes. We always talk about this on our show.
- 38:18Speaker 4: We love Mahomes at less than three point favorite.
- 38:21Speaker 2: So if he's.
- 38:21Speaker 4: Two and a half or if he's an underdog, we
- 38:24Speaker 4: buy in Mahomes. We always fade Mahomes when it's over four.
- 38:28Speaker 4: We just always do it because he always plays in
- 38:30Speaker 4: these close games. So Chad, You're so right calling this
- 38:34Speaker 4: game out first. This is one of my favorite games
- 38:35Speaker 4: that popped up for this early buying.
- 38:38Speaker 1: By the way, Evan just threw this one stat into
- 38:40Speaker 1: the chat that I need to read to people, and
- 38:43Speaker 1: it's germane. For a couple of reasons, one, bet three
- 38:46Speaker 1: sixty five has an incredible early payout offer. If any
- 38:50Speaker 1: team that you've bet on goes up by seventeen points,
- 38:53Speaker 1: your bet automatically cash is So if the other team
- 38:55Speaker 1: comes back to win, doesn't matter. You've cast your bet low.
- 38:59Speaker 1: And behold that happened with the Titans today. So they lost,
- 39:05Speaker 1: but you won your bet if you bet with bet
- 39:07Speaker 1: three six five. If you went because they got up
- 39:09Speaker 1: seventeen to nothing, dogs are four points to lead by
- 39:13Speaker 1: seventeen plus at any point in a game, we're sixty
- 39:18Speaker 1: six one and one against the spread. It's twenty nineteen.
- 39:21Speaker 1: They are now sixty six two and one against the spread.
- 39:25Speaker 1: The other game, two other games, Dallas is minus six.
- 39:32Speaker 3: Love it right now.
- 39:33Speaker 2: I say, we grab it as soon as I saw
- 39:35Speaker 2: that number come out.
- 39:36Speaker 4: It's Dallas at home against a bad team like we
- 39:38Speaker 4: always we always played Dallas. Yeahs, and especially that bad
- 39:43Speaker 4: team is the Saint who just put up fifty points
- 39:45Speaker 4: or whatever.
- 39:45Speaker 1: It was like, if this game to me, this game
- 39:48Speaker 1: and you'll do your numbers this week. But I feel
- 39:51Speaker 1: like this game should be at least a touchdown.
- 39:53Speaker 2: I think that's what it will be. I think I'll
- 39:54Speaker 2: either at seven or seven and a half.
- 39:56Speaker 4: So the fact that you can get six six and
- 39:57Speaker 4: a half right now, I just grab it before it
- 39:59Speaker 4: does go to seven.
- 40:00Speaker 2: Opinion.
- 40:00Speaker 3: All right, those were the games. Anything else I'm missing?
- 40:05Speaker 4: Yeah, I grabbed Colts minus three right now, just in
- 40:08Speaker 4: case it is Milik Willis right, that's what they're saying, Chad,
- 40:10Speaker 4: I know Ryan Tannehill has gotten some buzz yep. So
- 40:15Speaker 4: that's Ryan Tannehill coming off of beaching Bahamas to be
- 40:18Speaker 4: their quarterback and playing a game in six days.
- 40:21Speaker 2: So it's like either quarterback, whoever it is. I'm feeling
- 40:25Speaker 2: confident about this bet. Right.
- 40:26Speaker 4: So there's a reason Green Bay and we had to
- 40:29Speaker 4: give up a seventh round pick to get their starting
- 40:33Speaker 4: quarterback right now?
- 40:33Speaker 2: So yeah, this.
- 40:37Speaker 4: I wanted to be on Green Bay because I thought
- 40:38Speaker 4: this line would be like six or something, and the
- 40:40Speaker 4: fact that it's just three right now, I would just
- 40:42Speaker 4: grab because I could see the public coming in this
- 40:44Speaker 4: number going up.
