- 1:09Speaker 1: sit or lie back in a comfortable position and take
- 1:16Speaker 1: some nice deep breaths. In through the nose and out
- 1:25Speaker 1: through the mouth. In through the nose and out through
- 1:34Speaker 1: the mouth. And when you're ready, gently closing down your eyes,
- 1:45Speaker 1: shutting out the world for a while. And I'd like
- 1:50Speaker 1: you to imagine yourself outside in your favourite place in nature.
- 1:54Speaker 1: It could be a peaceful tropical beach, Or a lovely
- 2:03Speaker 1: old garden. Or perhaps you could imagine laying back on
- 2:08Speaker 1: a boat which is sailing on a beautiful river. It
- 2:17Speaker 1: really doesn't matter where you are as long as it
- 2:21Speaker 1: feels good to you. And it's a beautiful day. The
- 2:34Speaker 1: sky is a special shade of blue, very clear, and
- 2:39Speaker 1: it's warm, a warm summer's day. And in the sky
- 2:48Speaker 1: is a dazzling sun, so bright that you just want
- 2:52Speaker 1: to close your eyes and feel the warmth of the
- 2:56Speaker 1: sun on your body. So imagine this now in your mind.
- 3:07Speaker 1: And surprisingly you find that you can direct that sun
- 3:11Speaker 1: over and around your body. As you realise this, you
- 3:16Speaker 1: begin to direct light from the sun over your face.
- 3:25Speaker 1: And you can feel the warmth of the light of
- 3:28Speaker 1: the sun on your face. Just relaxing those muscles around
- 3:33Speaker 1: the eyes, the nose and the mouth. And as you
- 3:43Speaker 1: do this, you find that the facial muscles begin to
- 3:47Speaker 1: flatten out as they relax. And you let go. And
- 3:55Speaker 1: it's a beautiful day. You move the light from the
- 4:00Speaker 1: sun into the throat area. Feeling the warmth of the
- 4:04Speaker 1: light from the sun in your throat. Relaxing all those
- 4:09Speaker 1: muscles now. Letting go. And the sunlight moves into the
- 4:16Speaker 1: shoulders and across the shoulders, making them feel loose, limp
- 4:23Speaker 1: and comfortable. You feel so relaxed. So comfortable and at
- 4:31Speaker 1: peace with the world. And you direct the light from
- 4:35Speaker 1: the sun down the right arm. From the shoulders to
- 4:40Speaker 1: the tips of the fingers. The right arm begins to
- 4:44Speaker 1: relax and let go. Relax and let go. And it's
- 4:53Speaker 1: a beautiful feeling to be here right now. The warmth
- 4:59Speaker 1: of the light from the sun penetrates the nerves and
- 5:03Speaker 1: bones and muscles of that right arm. It's such a
- 5:12Speaker 1: beautiful day. You move the sun over to the left
- 5:16Speaker 1: arm and guide the light from the sun down and
- 5:20Speaker 1: up the left arm. From the top of the shoulders
- 5:24Speaker 1: all the way down to the tips of the fingers.
- 5:28Speaker 1: you can feel the left arm relaxing, coming heavy and
- 5:35Speaker 1: comfortable and relaxed, now move the light across into the
- 5:42Speaker 1: chest area and relax the chest and all the muscles there,
- 5:48Speaker 1: that's good, now the stomach, relax the tummy and down
- 5:55Speaker 1: to the hips and the thighs, over to the right leg,
- 6:01Speaker 1: relax the right leg, let it feel really comfortable, and
- 6:11Speaker 1: now move the light from the sun down the right leg,
- 6:15Speaker 1: up and down, from the top of the hips to
- 6:18Speaker 1: the tips of the toes, and the right leg relaxes,
- 6:23Speaker 1: and let And it's a beautiful day. Move the light
- 6:34Speaker 1: into the left leg now and move it up and
- 6:36Speaker 1: down the left leg from the top of the hips
- 6:41Speaker 1: to the tips of the toes and the left leg relaxes,
- 6:46Speaker 1: releases all tension, let go. Your whole body now is
- 6:54Speaker 1: totally and completely relaxed from the top of your head
- 7:00Speaker 1: all the way down to the tips of your toes.
- 7:05Speaker 1: And as your mind body relaxes, your whole being feels
- 7:11Speaker 1: at one with the world. And as your mind relaxes,
- 7:16Speaker 1: I want you to notice the sun is going down.
- 7:26Speaker 1: The sun is going down and down, deeper and deeper.
- 7:37Speaker 1: And the sky is ablaze with abundance of colours of crimson,
- 7:43Speaker 1: bright purple, blue-yellow streaks. And it's a beautiful evening. Your
- 7:52Speaker 1: mind relaxes and lets go. releases all the stresses of
- 7:58Speaker 1: the day, let go, and the sun goes further and
- 8:04Speaker 1: further down over the horizon, until it's in its place,
- 8:10Speaker 1: a black velvet sky, and twinkling up there in the
- 8:15Speaker 1: sky is a single star, now keep your mind focused
- 8:25Speaker 1: completely on that star, nothing else matters except this beautiful
- 8:31Speaker 1: star going higher and higher up, that's right, until all
- 8:38Speaker 1: at once you are the star in that night sky,
- 8:44Speaker 1: a beautiful star twinkling away, that silver solitary star in
- 8:51Speaker 1: the night sky, You become the star and the star
- 8:56Speaker 1: is you. You are one, back from where you came.
- 9:02Speaker 1: And it's a beautiful star. And as you think of
- 9:07Speaker 1: these wonderful images, so you could just let your mind
- 9:14Speaker 1: wander where it will. Feeling so relaxed now. So relaxed now.
- 9:28Speaker 1: just letting your mind wander just as it will, that's right,
- 9:36Speaker 1: and in the past when you felt stressed or unhappy,
- 9:42Speaker 1: you perhaps ate more than you intended to, leading to
- 9:46Speaker 1: other problems, treating yourself badly, by treating yourself in inverted commas,
- 9:56Speaker 1: And it may be here as I speak to you.
- 10:00Speaker 1: you have reached a crossroads a turning point in your
- 10:05Speaker 1: life and health perhaps is something that is becoming more
- 10:15Speaker 1: and more important to you Perhaps you have considered this
- 10:20Speaker 1: change for some time and are ready now to change
- 10:25Speaker 1: those old habits, old responses, ready to stop eating for
- 10:31Speaker 1: emotional reasons. You tried it, it didn't work and you
- 10:38Speaker 1: are an intelligent person. You don't do things that don't work,
- 10:43Speaker 1: you are learning. And maybe in the past you ate
- 10:51Speaker 1: things you didn't need to distract yourself from your emotions.
- 10:57Speaker 1: But of course the emotions remain. No food or drink
- 11:02Speaker 1: could change how you feel for the better. And it
- 11:07Speaker 1: may be that you felt guilty, uncomfortable physically, emotionally. But
- 11:16Speaker 1: that is changing now. you are learning new ways to
- 11:21Speaker 1: accept your emotions, to welcome them, aware that your emotions
- 11:32Speaker 1: are like signals, like signs and you know what to
- 11:40Speaker 1: do when you see a sign on the road, a pathway,
- 11:46Speaker 1: you see where you are, choose your route, take the
- 11:52Speaker 1: appropriate steps. Your emotions, feelings are there for a reason
- 12:04Speaker 1: and they are there to help and guide you. And
- 12:10Speaker 1: when you feel frustrated, we all experience this sometimes, it's
- 12:17Speaker 1: a signal that something you're doing or not doing isn't working,
- 12:24Speaker 1: it's a wake-up call, an opportunity to do something differently,
- 12:32Speaker 1: try something else. when you feel stressed it could be
- 12:42Speaker 1: that you're doing too much or maybe simply thinking too
- 12:47Speaker 1: much and if you could view things differently how would you?
- 12:58Speaker 1: see things as if from the outside as if you
- 13:05Speaker 1: were someone else See yourself responding as you did. What
- 13:13Speaker 1: would you advise? And when you feel anxious, that's a
- 13:19Speaker 1: sign too. To focus on your life and what needs changing.
- 13:26Speaker 1: And maybe you have felt low in the past. Depressed even.
- 13:32Speaker 1: You must recognise those feelings as a sign that you
- 13:35Speaker 1: need to take action. to do something for yourself, and
- 13:44Speaker 1: if you feel lonely, it may be that you want
- 13:48Speaker 1: some contact, you could reach out to a person, or
- 13:53Speaker 1: relax by spending time in nature, learning to relax, taking
- 14:01Speaker 1: life less seriously, eat when hungry, rest when tired, enjoy
- 14:10Speaker 1: an active life, and experience balance, that's right, balance, so helpful,
- 14:24Speaker 1: finding your own way, just listening, relaxing, and drifting with
- 14:33Speaker 1: my words, that's right, feeling more confident, calm and not
- 14:42Speaker 1: going back to those old ways outdated ways of thinking
- 14:48Speaker 1: and your belief in your ability is growing stronger and
- 14:52Speaker 1: stronger old habits of being disappearing you're feeling more and
- 15:00Speaker 1: more at one with your new habit which suits you
- 15:03Speaker 1: better more and more comfortable and at ease and you
- 15:10Speaker 1: will find yourself, through these principles, being motivated to drink
- 15:18Speaker 1: plenty of water to flush out the toxins in your
- 15:23Speaker 1: body as it enables the metabolism to work more effectively,
- 15:29Speaker 1: and therefore breaking down the fatty tissues. You will also
- 15:37Speaker 1: find that you develop good eating habits, always having breakfast,
- 15:44Speaker 1: lunch and dinner and automatically choosing foods that are healthy
- 15:49Speaker 1: and nutritious. You will not want to eat between meals
- 15:56Speaker 1: and after evening meals for most of the time. When
- 16:00Speaker 1: you do require a snack, You will make healthy choices.
- 16:10Speaker 1: You will also have smaller portions. Smaller portions. And listen
- 16:19Speaker 1: to the part of your mind that says, I've had enough.
- 16:24Speaker 1: So when you've had enough, you leave food on your
- 16:27Speaker 1: plate and you're happy to do so. And the key
- 16:35Speaker 1: to success is having smaller portions. And also to eat slowly.
- 16:45Speaker 1: So you will have this discipline to eat slowly and
- 16:49Speaker 1: to chew your food really well. To eat mindfully. To
- 16:59Speaker 1: really focus on all the sensations that the food is
- 17:03Speaker 1: bringing to you. So you will have this discipline and
- 17:09Speaker 1: desire to chew your food well and eat really slowly.
- 17:20Speaker 1: When you eat slowly you break the food down in
- 17:22Speaker 1: the mouth so that you get more goodness at source.
- 17:27Speaker 1: When you eat slowly the digestive system starts working sooner
- 17:32Speaker 1: so that it registers quicker that you've had enough to eat.
- 17:39Speaker 1: And also, when you eat slowly, you extend the pleasure
- 17:44Speaker 1: of eating. Food is a pleasure. So you want to
- 17:51Speaker 1: extend that pleasure. And by listening to this hypnosis, I
- 17:57Speaker 1: will help you to have a normal, healthy relationship with food.
- 18:04Speaker 1: and you will enjoy a lifetime of being in control
- 18:09Speaker 1: with your eating habits and so if on a rare
- 18:18Speaker 1: occasion you do decide to eat something which would be
- 18:22Speaker 1: forbidden on a diet with these ideas you may have
- 18:26Speaker 1: it but surprisingly you will want it in moderation moderation.
- 18:40Speaker 1: Can you begin to imagine how boring life would be
- 18:45Speaker 1: if you really fancied something to eat and you couldn't
- 18:49Speaker 1: have it because you were on a diet? And if
- 18:52Speaker 1: you are denied something, human nature dictates that we want
- 18:59Speaker 1: it all the more. we all seem to be programmed
- 19:07Speaker 1: to what we cannot have so you are not denying
- 19:11Speaker 1: anything with this program and for most of the time
- 19:17Speaker 1: you will make healthy choices have portion control drink lots
- 19:24Speaker 1: of water eat slowly and mindfully and also You will
- 19:35Speaker 1: want to exercise as this program promotes mindful awareness to
- 19:42Speaker 1: change your attitude towards food and exercise. food is just
- 19:50Speaker 1: food enjoyable absolutely but it's just food and you begin
- 19:58Speaker 1: to realize that food is just enjoyable fuel for your
- 20:02Speaker 1: body that's right you take note Develop more awareness. Developing
- 20:11Speaker 1: more awareness. And if there are any emotions that trigger
- 20:16Speaker 1: you to eat. You will see patterns developing as you
- 20:23Speaker 1: progress through this program. You will see quickly how all
- 20:29Speaker 1: these changes. And that emotions will no longer trigger you
- 20:33Speaker 1: to eat. And you will no longer graze. Make a
- 20:38Speaker 1: note in your diary of the exercise you do each day.
- 20:46Speaker 1: And you will have a tremendous desire to exercise and
- 20:52Speaker 1: to really embrace it, rather than ever seeing it as
- 20:57Speaker 1: a chore. And when you exercise, you change the body
- 21:05Speaker 1: shape as the muscles become firm and taut, developing that
- 21:11Speaker 1: long lean look, and also when you exercise, you release endorphins,
- 21:20Speaker 1: giving a natural high, and this makes you feel happy,
