Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Tany invited to a birthday party and on the invitation
- 0:02Speaker 1: it had an end time. What's the big deal, Tany.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Uh, it's not a big deal. But I've never been
- 0:07Speaker 2: invited with an end time before.
- 0:08Speaker 1: I think I have invited you to things and said
- 0:11Speaker 1: when it's going to wrap up, haven't I No.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Usual when you used to throw like the Christmas parties
- 0:15Speaker 2: or the holiday parties, you would say starts at whatever time.
- 0:18Speaker 2: You did not give us an ending.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Well, I'm made mistake. So my buddy Kurt wanted to
- 0:23Speaker 1: come over for dinner a couple of nights ago, and
- 0:25Speaker 1: I was very clear. It wasn't like a formal invitation,
- 0:28Speaker 1: but in my text, I was very clear to say, hey,
- 0:30Speaker 1: i'll see at six thirty, you'll be home by eight.
- 0:33Speaker 1: I was just like, really clear to set you'll be home,
- 0:37Speaker 1: not even like you'll be finished, meaning you'll be out
- 0:40Speaker 1: the door by seven thirty. I feel like I've done
- 0:43Speaker 1: that before with you guys said no, you just.
- 0:46Speaker 3: You just wrap it up in the middle of us
- 0:47Speaker 3: all hanging out on your porch or your patios, and
- 0:50Speaker 3: it's time to go. I'm gonna go to jam.
- 0:52Speaker 2: But I think I think an intimate dinner is different
- 0:56Speaker 2: than like a birthday party. I've never like you know
- 0:58Speaker 2: what I mean, Like, I'm never had an ending to
- 1:01Speaker 2: I don't.
- 1:02Speaker 3: Think I put end times on an imitation just so
- 1:04Speaker 3: people don't get there super late, especially if you have
- 1:06Speaker 3: things that are happening like late, you're gonna miss the whatever.
- 1:10Speaker 1: I think framing the expectation is right, and then there's
- 1:13Speaker 1: no awkwardness when the music stops, the lights come on,
- 1:16Speaker 1: and people have to leave like it's already predetermined.
- 1:19Speaker 2: It's on air with Ryan Seacrest.
